Monday 04:30hrs: After another abysmal night’s lack of sleep, I gave up. and had, between them, given me the third sleepless night in a row. The Angina was the worst it’s ever been. A series of reasons, of course, are all confusing.

Who can we blame, then?
Well, on first thoughts, they were the people who assured me that they would be handling, ordering, fetching, monitoring and issuing the prescriptions.
But let’s be fair to them. They lost the Carer who did most of the monitoring, that was , taken ill last Monday. The poor lad was going to return today, they thought, but it seems he is still incapacitated. I wish I could contact him to see how he’s going on. Pound to a penny, his Diabetes-2 is involved in some way. (I later found out it wasn’t… Big Gob!)

Did the Doctor inform the pharmacy about the doubling of the Ann Gyna tablets (Omeprazole)? Did the chemist forget about them? Personally, I blame the Parole Board!

After wee-weeing and two, I say two visits in the following fifteen minutes, I got the health Checks done. BP and all that rigmarole.
Oh, dearie, me, back up to Hypertension-2. A shame that. I suspect that the lack of Omeprazole for the Angina and the lack of sleep had some bearing?

Got the blog updated and posted off to WordPress. Then I Pinterested some pictures.

I went to make a brew of Thompson’s Punjana. And took three pictures out of the kitchenette window, which had roughly the same view.
The top one was in Auto+ mode, the second in Auto, and the third one was taken in Night Scene mode
.

None of them came out as I would have liked. And I’ve learnt nothing from this little experiment… Other than when I reach up to turn the window handle, the pain shot right around the back into the… I think the kidney or bowel area.
A quick swearing session and the need for yet another visit to the overused this morning.

The session was again in full control of Trotsky Terence. Got the ablutions done while in there. A stand-up job; too early to use the noisy shower.

Finally got a brew made and got an email that came in from Iceland.

Minutes later, I was back, seated on the Porcelain Throne. A heck of a messy job this one was. I was cleaning it when a carer came in. I asked about the Omeprazole 20mg. But she didn’t know and could not help me get in touch with Richard.

arrived and gave me the medications. We spoke, and she is going to ask about the prescription situation for me.

Then. the DVT Warfarin nurse arrived; it was Hristina.
She soon got the blood taken. The IRN result form has not arrived from last Monday yet – Postal Strike and work to rule in the UK, don’t you know. Railway workers, NHS Nurses and power workers are all to follow. Oh, dear!
That was followed by the Iceland delivery arriving.

I struggled to get the bags into the hallway.

The treat bottles were put in the 1963-built, falling to pieces, Hopewell’s E-Plan Sideboard, with the doors falling off.

A shame Richard has not got back to work, but better safe than sorry.
I still think his Diabetes-2 is part of his problem. All the best to him.
Thanks for caring for me, my mate! Keep safe!

I got the coffee treats and what should have been Richards into the fridge.

If the lad can’t get back to work, I’ll have to hand the burgers and meals to someone else.
Gawd! is persistent this morning! Oh, it’s nearly teatime!
Came back, and she’s got the prescriptions for me. ♥
UNFORTUNATELY: They’s only sent one box of Omeprazole – with a difference. They were 25ml and not 30 like the last ones, white, not yellow, and with a new name;
Lansoprazole”

Came; I can’t remember why.

I had a phone call from Easy-Link to confirm they have booked a lift in the morning at 10:00hrs. For me to go to the Doctor’s. Grrreat!

I got a call from Easy-Link, to confirm the lift in the morning to the Doctors… well, nurses’ appointments at the Surgery.

Better get something to eat, then. Vegan sausages, tomatoes with basil, rolls… I’ll go and see what is available. I made a decent meal, but I took a photo of it, and it is not on the SD card. This is not surprising now, as I found I’d left it on the computer.

Came in. I was still groggy from sleep. But did notice the lad was still not looking or sounding very well. Croaky voice, coughing a lot, too.
He checked on the medical draw, and we spoke a lot..
. but most if what was said had gone into the ether.
I should see him in the morning.

Oh, I’m going to see the nurses Tuesday… pick-up is at 10:00hrs, I mustn’t forget.

I imagine that the Famously Murderous Parole Board will be releasing both of these criminals… well, animals, at the earliest opportunity to kill again?

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

03:30hrs: I stirred, with a degree of hesitation, a definite desire not to get up and face the world. A reluctance like never before. Indeed, I tried to get back to sleep – but the inevitable need for a wee-wee, followed by the almost thrice-hemerine Porcelain Throne visit, forced the removal of my elephantine body from the grasp of the second-hand, £300, charity shop-bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner. And off to the wet room.

The evacuation started as usual of its own accord. But it stopped part the way through the process.
So I got the crossword book out. I’ve lost the one I was using but found this one when I was sorting a drawer out. Much more my cup of tea this one. It was published in 1969, and is great; Cause the questions about sport and actors and like, I can remember from so long ago, and I got a few answered. . In fact, I got into it and forgot I waiting for the evacuations to restart. Hehehe!

EyeDropsHad a quick wash and clean up.

Put the olive oil in the ear holes, and I sprayed some of the eye drops around the chin, moustache and mouth… I doubt if any actually made it into the eye and used up the last it. Two more need to be ordered. But what are the odds of me remembering? Not too good, methinks.
I got the spy-glass to check on the urine colour. Not too good today, rated as a six on the NHS chart.
Which reminded me to get the Health Checks done. But not before I made a brew of Glengettie to stir my mind and body. (Well, it sounded good?) Haha!
I put a potato in the crock pot as I was mashing the tea.
Added some liquid smoke, sea salt and vinegar to the water.
Made the tea and got the computer on the go.
I received a long email from Lis-Petal, and replied to it, trying to cover everything she mentioned. She really is such a caring Angel ♥.

Minutes after getting this done declared the arrival of my mate and . I turned to welcome him with a handshake. Before, I stood a very-poorly, shouldn’t be at work, lad! Well, man! His voice was croaky and weak; he was red-faced, coughing, and looked so weak. His actions and reactions were slower than usual, too.
Poor Richard, he just gets his Diabetes level down, and this, whatever it is, hits him. Much as I’ll miss him if he does go sick, I hope he’ll be alright and recovers soon. But he didn’t look good at all. He’ll struggle to get back t work,  I think.
So unfair to him. A man who had helped me more than anyone goes sick. This is worrying for me. I walked to the door with him, tried to look and sound unworried for him, but don’t think I managed it.

Got a text from Asda. According to this, there are no changes or substitutions on today’s order? Never been known before – surely I misread it?

Got on with updating the Monday blog and posted it off. Took me a lot longer than it should have, and I made more mistakes to correct than ever before. And I’m sure many errors got through despite my hours spent adjusting things.

I need to get the Ablutions done, but there isn’t time now, as the delivery could arrive soon.

arrived. Gave me the Peptac. I checked the list of Christmas pressies given, but Sam was not on it. She is now.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY so far. The Asda order arrived. It was a big one, and the deliveryman saw how I was struggling and took the food through to the kitchen for me in his baskets, cramming the food where he could find room to.
Nice gesture; he was off in no time.
Getting the stuff put away took me two hours – Honestly! The Christmas treat bottles for the Carers arrived, and I’d just given the last of the others to Sam. Got them in the cupboard under the computer, so the others can take a pick their choice.
The Microwave had almost been covered with food. Hehe!
Glad to say the Marmite Cashew nuts have arrived, and the personal treats for Christmas for myself, the tasty but naughty Lotus-Biscoff Biscuits, all come as well.
The only room on the sink side was used up as well.
BBQ beans. The 7-Vegetable roasted Mediterranean sauce. Passata with basil. Soft drinks for the Carers thank you’s. More BBQ sauce, Korean this time; I hope it’s not too hot?
And from the one box, BBQ sauce, more veg sauce, orange cordial, and the BBQ Beans Micro Grain that I enjoyed so much last week. The Winiary Przyprawa seasoning that I’m trying for the first time. I couldn’t read the contents even with the spyglass – so I looked it up on the web.
It seems it is an alternative to Soya sauce, vegan & vegetarian. An alternative to Maggi, it says. The ingredients are WATER, Salt, Flavour Enhancers (Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium ‘5 Ribonucleotides), Vinegar, Glucose, and Flavourings (with Celery). I wonder what the secret flavourings are?
I might try a splash of it tonight with my BBQ beans, vegetable and potato meal? Or not? Worraya fink?

The sauce cupboard got special attention today.
The Polish sauce was used on the potatoes in the Crock-Pot. It was similar tasting to Worcester Sauce.
The BBQ sauces should last me a while. I seem to a have had a moment when I ordered them… I may have overdone it a fraction in ordering so many bottles.
I think I was dithering over which brand to get and seemed to order every type they had in stock? And why sweet pickle? I don’t even like it!

Well, blow me down with a feather duster! Who ordered the naughty cream cakes?
Surely not me? Did I? No, it must be a mistake!
Shame I didn’t notice it at the time. I would have sent them back if I had, of course.

I belatedly got the tackled.

Well, when I got the results from the NHS Analyser, I was well leased and over the moon.
But it made me think of the poor  this morning.
I’m fretting now for him. Whatever bug has got him, he needs to have it checked out: that’s what he would have told me to do. Might even be Covid, Flu or associated with his Diabetes – 2? It’s knocked him for six, no question about it. In a way, I’d be happy to see him taking time off to get it sorted. Which, in itself, means I can’t get in touch to try to see how he is going. Poor lad. Oh, the Health Checks (I wondered off-plot there for a moment)
.
Well, as you can see, I’m back down in the HIGH-NORM Zone. That’s four times on this chart!

Now for the Ablutionalisationings. I have to admit to a little bit of apprehensiveness about this. I don’t think I’ve mentioned it yet, but I had two bad bouts earlier and three bad incidents. The last one was while I was putting stuff in the freezer from Asda. Had I not been in that spot when it came, I could have taken a fall and landed forward on the floor. Luckily my landing against the fridge was far less hazardous. So, I’m going to take my time in the shower and try to keep near the grab rail. Also, be weary when shaving and dressing. This could take some time, but I’m not bothered, let it. Better safe than sorry.
Back in a bit… I hope, Har-har!
.
I was right; it was a long job. The shaving produced a few minor cuts, that took a while to stop bleeding this time. The Warfarin INR level is far too high, meaning the blood is thinner.
The teeth cleaningGC broken tooth caused more bleeding than ever before.
This is partly due to the teeth rotting and breaking and the high INR level.

The thing I was worried about, the showering, was Dizzy Dennis-free! Just the one head-butting of the power box, which was nothing serious.
Drying off afterwards, I cleared about 30% of the items on the top of the floor cabinet!
I got them back on again, much to the discomfort of .
I lost a little of the olive oil, and unfortunately, I trod on the tube of Germoloid and lost some as it squirted out. A shame because this is my last tube. !

I took an accidental shot as I was putting the camera down.
The flash activated and gave me a dazzling shaving mirror.
It’s the only mirror in the flat. When you look like me, it’s best not to demoralise yourself by looking at a reflection
of a senile old man looking back at you. Hehe!
My noisy neighbour above started drilling and clanging at something or other. I’m sure it was coming from straight above, but may have been repairmen working?

I then had to again utilise the . A decent evacuation, even if a bit messy.
Went to pick up hearing aids to put them in… and PLOP!
No more needs to be said other than maybe !!!

Another half-hour lost cleaning things up! Grumph!
I finished the medicationalisationings and got dressed.
acci-whoopBut guess what I did wrong… I got into the morning clothes and not the night attire!

After spending about two hours in total up to this point in the wet room,  then had to get out of the clothes I’d just struggled to get into, the jammie-bottoms, nightshirt, night socks and dressing gown.
However, I did manage to get the socks on without using the dreaded, deadly assured of being injured by .
But was injured by my losing my balance and hitting of all things to hit… my , on the corner of the floor cabinet as I went down on one knee, caused by a short attack from , just as I had one leg up off of the floor (talk about timing!) and setting off !!!
I suppose I ought to be glad I didn’t get a

I got the BBQ beans in the pan, and I added half a jar of 7-Meditterrraean roasted vegetable sauce and gently heated it up slowly, stirring all the time. Well, not all the time, cause I had to go back to the wet room for a quick wee-wee…
I found I’d left the sink tap running! , I’m not doing very well here, am I?
I got the meal served up. I had the potato from the crock pot sliced with the beans. And four of the part-cooked mini roll, oven-baked for six minutes.
Flavour-Rating 8.8/10. The rolls were delicious! I gave them a quick spray with some olive oil when I put them in the oven.

Sacrosanct Herbert was back to his usual concert of mechanical noises.
The tap-tapping with the occasional cappella solo.
And it was lovely. Even if I was missing my favourite ‘Heartbeat programme on the TV. Hehe!
Played and woke me up, and in came . I was very slow-witted and tired. It may sound odd, but doing ablutions with all the attached Whoopsiefangleploppery, Accifauxpas and cock-ups, I believe, took a lot out of me. Poor old sausage! Hahaha!
I did remember to check if she’d had her Christmas bottle of choice yet, and she had not – So she took her fancied pick. I think we had a natter, but what about escapes me… No, it doesn’t! It’s come back to me! It was about the poor . The lad has gone home due to his state of health. Oh, I do hope he’ll be alright! Carolynne departed after checking the taps and cooker, taking the waste bag with her. Nice gal! I locked the door.

I nodded off to sleep with relative ease. But it didn’t last. Back to the lousy fitful jumping awake and struggling to get back to sleep repeatedly! Harrumph!

06:30hrs: After a much better night, only jumping a maximum of five times, I stirred and took a wee-wee.
Went to get the kettle on and took this photograph of the morning view. Not very good, is it?
Then the Porcelain Throne visits began. Over the first hour, I had four trips to the , all little, watery, messy and stinky. And another three visits to the wee-wee bucket. What an hour that was! Almost tired myself out and thought of getting my head down again!

But, me being the heroic, dedicated, conscientious young man that I am, I pressed on with jobs that needed doing.
I made up some waste bags. Made a brew of Glengettie tea, and I put the computer on, which told me it was -2°c in Nottingham.

came in, and I was glad to see him. Told home of wee-weeing and Throne visits taken. The lad was yawning energetically. (Well, it was the end of his shift, bless him)
We had a natter about this, that and the other. He put the three letters I’d got yesterday in the Carers folder. He’ll try to sport put someone to try and get the lift arranged for the Doctors visit for me. A good lad is Richard.

acci-whoop After he’d gone, I had the growing of its own accord, and the bladder pains burst out again, but only when I stretched or bent and got up after sitting down. Then, after all, we’d spoken about, I got the . At the same time, the was needed, and I didn’t get there in time!
Another mess to clean up and bag things. I had gone from an appreciative of getting some sleep when I woke up – to a… what can I say?
continued. How am I going to get out to get some money from the hole-in-the-wall thingy?

Going to have to fo into shorthand here; it’s already 17:00hrs. A lot to get done yet.
I’ll have to skip through. Take it that the wee-wees and Throne visits just kept coming.
arrived, she tried to call the 111 lines to ask for advice about bladder problems but could not get anyone. Bless her for trying.

Liberty-Global Virgin Media’s internet went down for a while. Hard to believe, I know… Huh!

Well, another good one for the record.

Arrived. We had a little natter… Well, I did. Hehe! Gave me the evening medications.

Visit number eight was taken.
This time, I managed to avoid any naughty, messy, annoying, angst-making, and costly time-consuming .

Around 1740hrs, I went to make a brew of Thompson’s Punjana tea. The view of the evening sky forced me to fetch the Lumix camera, and I concentrated as best I could on taking some shots of the amazing sky on offer. Here they are… The first two were taken five minutes before the last three. Bootiful!

Time to get some food sorted out before ‘Heartbeat’ comes on the TV, so I can watch it while I dine.
When I got o n the kitchen, I found I’d left the mug of Thompson’s Punjana on the counter, and it had gone cold. !
I think I was a smidge contented with the pictures coming out so well, for once, and forgot all about the brew.

I got a vegan pastie and a ‘beef slice’ in the oven, I’ll have some BBQ sauce with them, mayhaps. And two pots of the Soya lemon yoghourt. With me having made the cock up with the Asda order and getting two loads in two days, I have a lot to get through. I’d laugh if I didn’t feel

I tucked into the belated meal.
The potato Rostis was the highlight of the feast. Crispy on the outside and soft within. Gorgeous tasting!
Especially with being dipped into the BBQ sauce with each bite of them. Two bites a Rosti!
The Vegan mince and gravy slice was very nice too. The veg pastie was not so good. So a taste rating of 7/10 was given.

I had to fight not to fall asleep when washing all the things up.
Got down in the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, squashing, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner.

But not for long. chimed out, and in came my Saviour . I fear I was not in a fully receptive state (Half-asleep) but do recall that the first thing Richard did was to hand me a loaf of sliced wholemeal bread!
How kind a gesture from the lad.

Handed me the Peptac medicine and asked if I felt I needed a Paracetamol, which I think I declined. He checked the taps and stove and was on his way; bless him.

I felt sure I’d get a decent kip in. I should have known better!
Back to the nod-off – waking up with a jerk, nod-off – waking up with a jerk, nod-off – waking up with a jerk, nod-off – waking up with a jerk, nod-off – waking up with a jerk… Grrr!

SCUMBALLS! – – – – – –

05:00hrs: I sprang almost energetically awake for the umpteenth time. Grasping what brain cells were active, I pondered over getting up or nodding off again.
The decision was made the moment I sensed movement from the rear end building up, followed by a wet emission of air! A sort of long silent phlutt!
The stomach ache had all but gone while I was motionless trying to kip, but the very second I moved to hasten to the Porcelain Throne, the agony returned. Off to the .
: ❶ Fumbling, I tried to get into the wet room ASAP, for the action was starting on its own accord.

❷ I hit my shoulder on the door frame, that set of .
❸ The tie on the trousers got stuck, and I could not get the pants down in time!
❹ Before I’d serried on the Throne, the action started. And it was in full control of . Semi-liquid. You can imagine the mess I had to clean up!
Just to add to the confusion, when I was mopping and disinfecting, I knocked over the glass bottle of olive oil. Yes, it broke this time!
Trying to clean up an olive-oiled wet room floor is not easy, I can tell you. Thank heavens for loads of kitchen towels I had in and the super picker-upperer to use.
Then, Oh, the joy of joy…
❻ I needed to use the again! But being where I was at the time, about 6 inches away from the Throne, I got things down in plenty of time.
I think the Urine Infection has moved to the bladder?

I took a couple of morning photographs from the kitchenette window.

The top one is a little blurry, but the sky looks just as it does in the photograph.

O hung out of the window smidge to take this shot of the car park on Chestnut Way.

I went back to the wet room with as much haste as I could muster. Far better this time. I got all settled well before the Trotsky Terence controlled semi-liquid flowed from the innards!
Being in the wet room again, I decided to do the ablutions.
No doer, it was a little early for using the noisy shower yet.
Do, I had a strip wash, teggies and shave.
I’m not sure for certain, I couldn’t see the nape of the neck, but I reckon I got away with just two nick shaving! .
I think the legs and ankles looked a lot better.

Pale yet blotchy skin, yes, and the toes peripherals were still a different colour to the rest of the foot.

I then tackled, mayhap one of the riskiest of  dressing jobs!  Sock Glide Glenda! And came out of it… ready for this? UNINJURED! And that was after putting on a pair of long Diabetic bamboo socks, as well. DOUBLE No Triple!

Arrived, not seen him for a while. We had a natter after he did the medicationing. He checked the taps were not left running, and took the waste bags with him for me.

Got a message from George-Asda, telling me that the dressing gowns will be coming today between 12:00@14:00hrs. It’s now 13:35hrs; we’ll see.
I went through this yesterday, and it is telling me it’s on its way. Oh, of course, it never came. I have little confidence in them.

Eventually, I got the Saturday blog sent off to WordPress. My friend Bill had done a blog. I had a look at it, liked it, and commented. Civil rights; Gone wrong in the USA.

Came for the short check visit. Gave me the Peptac and a Paracetamol. Checks the taps, and he departed. Nice lad.

I’d finished the blackcurrant spring water and delved into the c1962 Hopewells sideboard, with the hanging-off door and unclosable drawers, and started on the Tonic Water with added orange juice.
I saw the Haribo marshmallows and was sorely tempted.
But resisted!
Got the done.

Return figures I put them in the NHS analyser and was pleased to see that they were still in Hypertension – 1 Red.

I sense that the figures will improve.
Not the foggiest idea of how or why, but it seems that my EQ s confident that things will improve? We shall see tomorrow!

Hello, back to the , better this time.

Arrived. Did the checks.

Then I got settled to watch the England v Senegal match.
Not a great match. Senegal was, at times, the superior side, I thought. It was hard work, but the lads got through it.
My worry now is if they play the same against France, it’s not going to be a pretty thing.

Arrived after the match had finished. Nice to see him again.

Tried to get to sleep, but it wasn’t good. Kept constantly waking up with a jump.

Evening all!

04:55hrs: I woke up for what must have been the 20th time overnight and decided to give up trying to sleep and get up.
The instant I rose onto my feet, a giddy spell developed, and at the same time, I realised I was not in full control of things in my head. A confusing babble of thoughts raced to and fro. I think I did the right thing; I sat down and let Dementia Doreen have her run. As it happened, she or whatever the cause, was bringing forth ideas, regrets, guilt, mistakes etc., so fast, I was barely bothered by it.
But it left me struggling to concentrate for a few hours.
Some things seemed foreign to me, not everything to mind. I can recall, over the next hour, a few incidents, which I’ll share with you, and the Dementia nurse when I see her again. If I remember! I had three trips to the Porcelain throne in about 15 minutes. On the first, I actually had to think where the flush was and was physically reaching up for a second to pull the nonexistent chain?
On the last call, when I decided to put some olive oil in the ears, I could not pick up the bottle. No reason at all for this, as far as I could tell. I just could not grab the bottle? Seconds later, I tried again, and no problem, all back to usual?
I really want to tell the nurse and Carer Richard about this; it was so weird. I’ll tell Richard he can pass it on if he sees the nurse again.
I felt disorientated for a time.

As I was making up the waste bags, I stopped to take some photographs from the kitchen window. I suppose because the scene looked so beautiful. Yet no different than usual, well, it was to me.

Then I forgot all about the waste bin bagging and found myself putting the laundry to go into the big bag.

I went to get the kettle on and realised I’d left the flipping tap running again! My self-hating and inner lambasting erupted.
Worran, odd morning.
♫Things Ain’t Wot They Used To Be♫.

Made a brew and checked that the Georges-Asda dressing gowns were still coming. George’s says delivery today, but the transport company (Hermes, I think) only say estimated to come today? Not another Amazon-like farce, Please!

Arrived. Helped me with the computer order and Amazon cock-up.
Didn’t take the waste bags with him. Got him all day today, clever lad.

Updated the Friday WordPress blog. Went on WP comments. Then Pinterested some photos.

Arrived, but I forgot to ask him to take the waste bag again. He departed, leaving it on the box in the hallway near the door.

I was so tired. But had to try to stay awake in case Hermes delivered the dressing gowns. (Ha!) What a dreamer this idiotic, retarded, in-pain, beyond-help, uneducated, bald, large right testicled, mentally and physically crumbling old-timer is!

Euthanasia comes to mind.

As I was taking these pictures of the brightest part of the day, and I thought pretty too…
A vicious tummy ache started. Bladder side. And I am now worried, as I was of writing this at 19:35 hours, it is still giving me some stick. Getting no easier, despite taking extra Peptac. This is not good. I fear the wrist alarm may have to be activated if it gets worse.

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE NEWS SNIPPETS

A MURDER INVESTIGATION
AFTER A MAN WAS FOUND DEAD WITH STAB WOUNDS

Somehow headlines like these in Nottinghamshire shock us less and less.
As usual for the Nott’s Police, out goes an appeal for anyone who caught the scene on their car cams. Anyone passing by noticed anything unusual.
CCTV, dash-cam footage.

It appears the Police have arrested a woman and are questioning her.
That’s good.

I wonder if it was what they call a domestic?
Will a lawyer be building a defence at this moment?
Wife beating? Mental Stress, did the man drink at all or take drugs?
Whichever, the Parole Board will free them early.

Arrived and did the medications. didn’t stay to make sure I took the Peptac. Didn’t do any tap checks or take the waste bag with him. I know I’m right about this; because the bag was still there in the hallway, and… when I went to wash the Peptac pot…
I FOUND THE HOT WATER TAP I’d left RUNNING. Hot water, stone cold. Mess on the floor and counter.
Not my day, is it?

20:25hrs: Got a text message coming in on my mobile. Which depressed me so much.
Just like the messages from Amazon started. False promises? They went on for five weeks after the assured delivery date.
I thought with George-Asda offering a one-day delivery for an extra £4.95 or whatever it was, would assure me of getting a shower and shave and having something clean to wear, like a dressing gown. So I paid up, full of confidence in the superior service of Georges…
After waiting in all day with no TV on so I could hear the intercom buzzing when the delivery arrived. (Yes, I still thought it would arrive. What a burke!
I spent hours fighting off and falling asleep. Then the stomach ache started, and Carer Ty failed to do the tap-running checks. I found after he’d gone, I’d left the hot tap running again, a mess to clean up – Ah, all that bending might have started the stomach off? I wonder if the dressing gowns will come with the Asda food order in the morning?

Arrived for the last short safety checks and gave me a Paracetamol to counter the tummy pains. Which I do believe are getting less severe now? A little natter and treats selected, at my insistence. ♥

Another punk who can’t hold his beer.
Chittock; is a suitable name for a Shithead wino.

What a cowardly bully he obviously is.
Blaming things on his drinking, thus getting the sympathy of the port drinking judges, judging by the pathetic sentence they gave this animal?

Now we await the Parole Boards scumbag’s decision to free Chittock early on licence. Will he do a year, even?

Well, I can’t get a wash and shave, no hot water.
But I can get down in the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe-producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, blown-up testicle-squashing incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner, and pray for sleep.
So, I did!

Gave up and made a meal. A can of Chilli-con-carne, with some roast vegetable sauce, added. I heated two cobs in the oven and had a pot of the soya lemon yoghourt.

Very nice, too. Taste: 7.4/10.

I was just nodding off and chimed out, and the late safety-check Carer called. I’d forgotten about that!
It was . Nice to see her. Told her about the stomach cramps, and she gave me a Paracetamol with the Peptac.  Selected a treat, and I went with her to lock the front door as she left.

Sleep came quickly enough, but yet again, the jumping awake throughout the night pestered me.

Still not doing very well, am I? Hehehe!

06:30hrs: The eyes popped open. The brain refused to engage a gear, I think. Because I found myself wee-weeing, then sorting the bins out, making up waste bags… then sitting on the Porcelain Throne. All within 30 minutes!
Washed and refreshed, I got the computer going and got the worked out.
Adding up to the NHSS analyser placing me in the Hypertension-1 Red area.

Which was not bad, looking at the previous week’s returns.

I see there is a good mix in levels recently: I make it 3x High Norms, 1x Hyper Three The highest),  1x Hyper Two, and 2x Hyper Ones.
The Normal one on Thursday stands out like a sore thumb.
Today’s Hyper-One was very close to being a High-Norm,
So no complaints there!
Well, it had to happen again. Virgin Media went Down! Didn’t it, Mr $26 million a year salaried boss of Global-Liberty Fries, who bought Virgin Media and told the customer call centre staff in England,  never to mention Liberty Global to customers!

There has to be something dodgy about this, surely? Financial wizardry? Money-Laundering? (The act of engaging in transactions designed to obscure the origin of money that has been obtained dodgily). Figure manipulating? The ulterior motive that will lead to bigger profits? Deceitfulness? Deception? Dishonesty?, Dissimulation?  Double-dealing? Hocuspocus?, maybe Jiggery-pokery?
Why pay $24b to buy a company just to run it into the ground? I wonder if Liberty-Global’s lesser financiers in the insurance business are involved somewhere along the line?
No, I’m not jealous of the man just because he gets a ridiculous amount in salary and guaranteed bonuses, even an unmonitored expense account. Nor that he is totally incapable of running an internet service that may manage a day without going offline. Or that he keeps putting up the prices to customers. then advertises his business as ‘Super-Fast’, ‘Most Reliable’ etc.

Arrived without pressing the door chime. I asked her to do so in future, please, nicely like, and explained why. She said she would when the reasons were given to her; bless her. We had a mini-natter and laugh, and off she trotted.

Ah, Liberty-Global Virgin Media came back online. Don’t anyone tell Fries, though; someone at Virgin may get into trouble for doing something right! We can’t have competent people working at Liberty-Global; it’s not natural.

I made an Asda order for Sunday delivery. This should give me time to sort out Richards in thanks treats, so he can have them on Monday morning.
I even managed to find the ‘No Substitutes’ page and used it for most of the items.
As I was closing the site, I espied a link to Georges Clothing, so went on to investigate if they had any dressing gowns in stock. I feel awful about wearing the one warm one I have left on for so long.
Of course, if the ones I ordered from Amazon had arrived, there would have been no need to get any others, but they haven’t. Before having a look, I checked on Amazon to see if there was any chance of them arriving.
Nope, but they did say it was the Post Office worker’s actions that were delaying the gowns from arriving.
Also, I couldn’t cancel the order until I had contacted the seller? Swine!
So I contacted them via the link on the page. Explaining that I’d had to buy some elsewhere, so wish to cancel the order.
So having contacted the seller, I went to cancel the order on Amazon.
I got the above answer; If the seller does not resolve the issue within 48 hours of your first message, you can revisit this page to ‘Check’ if you are eligible to ‘Request’ an A-Z Guarantee refund.
This stinks! Note the ‘to see if you are eligible… I’m not going to get a refund or the bloody dressing gowns at this rate – and still, I can’t cancel the order! Which Amazon has taken the money for!

Arrived. She was busy on the mobile, trying to get help for a previous client from Nottingham City Homes. No problem with that. She got the medications sorted and gave me help with the Amazon issue; bless her ♥. Got the refund from the supplier!  We had a little natter and laugh, and I insisted on her treat in thanks for being chosen.

I updated the Google Calendar with the two deliveries coming, the dressing gowns and the Asda food order.

Got an imitation beef pie in the oven cooking.
Chips in curry in the microwave.
Made a meal of sorts, and with the two last slices of wholemeal bread and a pot of soya lemon mousse, I tucked into it.
I enjoyed it, too, for once.
Flavour rating: 7/10.

Four years? Bearing in mind his history of armed robbery, is this a deterrent or Present for him? Came in and gave me the last dose of Peptac, and checked the taps (faucets) were not running. Took the waste bag with her on departing; bless her.

ZZZz... But too many springing awakes.

An odd night’s sleep. A different style of waking ups. Not so many, and I woke more gently. But struggled to get back to sleep, so lost a bit of the benefit of getting some sleep in.  Somehow being banged or moved was not what kept waking me up. No idea what did.

I was deep in sleep when woke me up. This unchallenged diamond had me feeling so much better within seconds. Got the medications sorted out and listened to my tales of Woe over the problems with farcical trip to the Doctors and the way things have developed since. Had he not left the note on the whiteboard reminding me about booking in at the Doctor, I may well not have done.
mate!

I made three visits to the in about an hour. Apart from bashing poor old each time (He is so much bigger this morning), the other similarity in all three sessions was large rabbit pellets. I’ve not been eating much; with the infection, do you think that might be the reason?

Got the computer on and commenced making mistake after error and getting mind blanks into the bargain in my updating of the Sunday blog. I stopped and made a start on the

Another bad set of results, Humph!

Chimed, and on came the highly desirable, sweet, kind patient Warfarin DVT Nurse Hristina.
I was feeling a smidge low with all the cock-ups I’d been making on the Saturday blog; her kindness cheered me up a smidge. (Doing well today in this. first Richard and now Hristina) She listened to my tale of the infection, getting on the wrong bus etc., before and while taking the blood. Bless her.

Fire hours later, I got the mistake-ridden blog posted off.

Then Liberty-Global Virgin Media went down Again!

LIBERTY-GLOBAL
Who bought, & destroyed Virgin Media.
The $126m salaried Mt Fries makes the decisions!
But can we, the suffering customers, really complain?
Let’s face the facts, Fries, the number-crunching, smoke & Mirrors, man.
The financial wizard who plays with numbers and gets them to show what he wants them to show. What will impress his boss?
While we, the poor stupid customers, can’t even leave the company due to Fries, ingenious leaving fees and convoluted process needed.
But I bear the man no ill will.
(Well, maybe just Knob-Rot, Black Death or Palsy, nothing serious.)

A call came in. They do that sometimes) it esd from the Sherrington Park Medical Practise.
The receptionist was calling with my new Warfarin dosage. That was quick! I wrote them down and made a list, and stuck it on the cover of the Meridian Social Carers folder.

Spur of the moment job here. I went to the fridge to see what was available for a nibble, but the answer was very little. So I made an Iceland order, which to my amazement, would be delivered in the morning twixt 06>08:00hrs. Ordering: Potatoes (bag for Richard & for me), baking spuds (bag for Richard & for me), Part-baked cobs (bag for Richard & for me),
For Richard: BBW burgers, Starbucks coffee.
For me: Veg & Gravy pie, kitchen towels, sliced cobs, & spring water.
Now we’ll see if I can wake up in time for the delivery. Hehehe!

Arrived. We got the meds sorted out and had a mini-natter, Jodie, confirmed that Richard would be going with me to the hospital on Thursday. (That’s good news; I’ll ask him to order a taxi for us.) Selected a treat in thanks, and she took the waste bag to the chute on her way out.

I continued with the blog for a few more hours. Then thought I’d better close down and get my head down.

Chimed out. Who is this at 22:00hrs, I thought? I stood up painfully (It’s always painful to get up since the urine infection started) and cautiously went to the door. I was flabbergasted! It was , I truly thought I’d had a mind-blank or time-lapse, and it must be morning already!
Richard was doing a late-night safety check. To ensure nothing had been left on that shouldn’t have been, Taps, lights etc.
He confirmed that he would be going with me to the hospital on Thursday. I asked him to order a taxi, and he said he would. We had a natter, and off on his rounds, he went. I could not give him an alcoholic drinkie as he was working, but he chose a Lychee juice from the fridge. Left, saying he would collect the bag later in the morning on his usual medicationing call; fair enough.

After a time spent making mistakes on the blog, I decided to have something to eat. But the Vegan Mince Pie was out of date. ! So, I had a Vegan Pastry Slice, made up some gravy and had this with some part-baked mini-cobs. Didn’t taste too bad at all. Flavour: 702/10.
Zzzz!

CONFUSED!

07:15hrs: The semi-reactivation of the brain began. reigned. I lay there uncomfortably in the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner… The raging, interfering with my trying to work out if it was night or day, the watch told me only the time, which could have been night or day, of course. And what day was it?
I assumed it was evening, and I’d nodded off; because the TV was on. As I fought off the to get some clarity…

sounded, and in walked , a smile on her face… Why I’m not sure, but I was now convinced it was night.
She got the medications given to me, and we had a little chat. She asked me if I’d met the new Carer. When I said, “Yes, Ty… he came this morning…” Jodie pointed out that this was the morning, and he had come last night! My bamboozlement only got worse. I should have realised by the different medications she’d given me, but I honestly can’t remember taking them now.
As we chatted, I worked out that it was well into the morning when I got to sleep, and that’s the reason I was still in a head-down mode when Jodie arrived.
I told her of the new flavour available in the thank-you-treats. The red cans I put in yesterday’s blog. Selected a cold nibble from the fridge – I’m struggling now to recall everything spoken of. I think I asked Jodie to check the taps for me when she calls, to make suite I’d not left them running, and turn them off if I had?
I did apologise for there being two big bags of waste to go to the chute, explaining that I forgot to ask Carer Ty to take them. I think we parted laughingly. Oh, and I’d unlocked the door for her to get in, either… well, I was asleep still. Haha!

Making a brew of Glengettie, I realised that I had not had, and did not feel the need, for a wee-wee. Very rare, that!

As I got the computer on, the nyaff, noisy nasty nitwit in the flat above started his tapping and banging – for hours on end! Swine!
Not that it bothered me. of course.

After a couple of hours of updating the Thursday blog, Got it now; it’s definitely a Friday today [Jodie told me]). I noted the beautiful hue of the morning, and also, it was not raining!
I took this picture from the kitchenette window.
A dramatic shade, don’t you think?
Then it came to me that in my morning confusion, I had not checked the calendar. So, I did! Just a note to remind me to make an Asda order for next Monday. So, I did! ETA 16:00 > 17:00hrs. So, Carer Richard’s treats in thanks he can have Tuesday this week.

I eventually got the updating done hours later and posted it to WordPress. Then did some Pinteresting. Then I started this template an hour. Herbert was giving it some hammer again but stopped after an hour or so… I’m anticipating that he will be kicking off again soon. (He did later!)

I don’t like this lack of sleep when it makes me get up late; it throws everything in the mind into disorder. Heavens above, it’s 13:30hrs already!

Plodded on with the blogging (And still no wee-wee taken???) for an hour or so. but got weary again and turned off everything, and got a meal done

I couldn’t eat half of this plateful. I’d made too much. I was soon fighting to stay awake.

I put the tray down, and .

Broke my moments of bliss… I awoke in utter confusion. I was certain that it was morning, and my first thought was, did I lock the door last night?  I rose and caught my balance. I did hear Bang-about Herbert start his knocking and tap-tapping again as began to walk to the door to check if the Carer was locked out or not. From somewhere in my head, something told me this just can’t be… a doubt, nagging at me…

appeared just as I was doubting my earlier assessment of the day and time. He clarified it was Friday evening. Not Saturday morning for me. et doubts still lingered. This was, and is, a worrying concern for me!

Jozeph was understanding of my haziness. Sorted the medications and listened to them while I explained what the effects that can and are doing to my sanity. Not moaning; I was just explaining. But not fully understanding my present plight myself.
I insisted on his selecting a can of his choice and some nibbles for my keeping him from his own bed. As I said, he was patient & understanding toward me. This in itself cheered me a little, knowing that someone cared enough to listen. And the lad must have been tired out himself at the end of his shift. He’s in the mould of Carer Richard.

As I hobbled with him to the door to lock it after him, I spotted the bag of rat food I’d bought from Wilko, in mistake for bird food, and mentioned this whoopsiedangleplop to Jozeph. Turns out that he has a pet rat at home. I gave him the bag of food to use, I felt better after doing so, and it cheered up one tired Carer. Me, and hopefully, it will satisfy the taste buds of one pet rat. Haha! Should I remember, I’ll ask him the name of his rat on his next call.

After writing this, I had to check that I did lock the door… thus the kicked in. I checked the taps in the wet room and kitchen. Stove, fridge & freezer doors, and even checked the door another time!

What a nitwit!

I espied the last of the sunset when I checked the kitchenette out for any disasters.
I got the Lumix camera and, on the SCN setting, chose the Night View option.
Not too bad, I suppose. Trouble is nowadays with the three optical ailments, , the dreaded and also , I can never be certain if photos, graphics and things are right or not, good or bad, pathetic, or a shambles!

Hello… I sense a warm wetness in the front of my diapers… I mean protection pants! Hehehe!
acci-whoop I went to the wet room to investigate. At first, I thought it was going to be poor Little Inchies , and fear of applying the stinging, painful Daktacort ointment sank my spirits. This is one medication that is always an agony to use!

But No! for it being just the lasered bladder that had passed a little … but without informing me that I needed a wee-wee! It does that sometimes, since the cancer-lasering. It got more frequent after the stroke. I only get embarrassed, not angry, about this ailment; after all, Bladder Belinda has lostrd of her storage capacity. At least it wasn’t blooded this time. (As it would have been if the Fungal-lesion had burst again!) Had a clean-up, got a new pair of Depend protection pants on, jammies back on, and back to the computer; feeling pretty good, really. I wish now that I’d had a shave while in there.

Those American PPs contained most of the escaping wee-wee. There are so reliable! Oh, dear, should I have risked saying that? Haha!

I got carried away with creating the Ode. Made a mess of it, and my concentration shot again. Errors after mistakes and  Mind-Blanks!

It’s almost 01:00hrs already!

Cheers, all! Have a great day!

05:00hrs: So, another waking up all the time, night. I’m fed up with these now! Still, it could be worse!
Rose for a wee-wee, with both PMD (Pre-Micturition-Dribbling) and PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling). A bit of a job to sort me and things out afterwards!
Sorted the waste bags. Had another wee-wee. Put the kettle on to make a brew of Glengettie.
I was going to get the ablutions done to freshen things up but thought being as I keep forgetting to do the Health Checks regularly, I do them first while it was in my memory-challenged mind. So, I did!
The pulse was fine again, for five days on the trot now.

Although the NHC analyser had put me in the red area again, it was so close to the amber; I was content with the result this morning. But it would have been nice to see it in amber on the graph.

I’ve had some results in the greens over the past week, which is nice.

Got the ECG to go for tomorrow. I still can’t work out why I’ve had to have a blood test and now the ECG, as apparently demanded by the Mind Hospital; the appointment with them is not until January? Still, I’m glad I got one.
Off to the wet room, I trotted with the clothing needed.
I had to utilise the first. I could have made a marathon tale of what took place, but haven’t the time now. Suffice it to say nuggets, pain and pong.
Somehow, I realise it now when typing this, but I forgot to clean my teeth again. (Fear of bleeding gums?)
Then, having the shave did not go so well this morning. It was due mainly to , she’s been good lately to me as well, but her cunning timing today ensured that I gleaned many cuts of varying degrees from the razors. Now’t really serious, though.
During the stand-up body wash, I needed two more wee-wees? No blasters; they were all of the SSAO (Sprinkly-Spraying-All-Over) variety.
Got dressed (No socks, why risk injury using when your not going out?) And made a mug of Glengettie, and went onto the computer, to update the Monday blog.
The Norton Virus started a check, and for once, I watched the progress. Confused me more than helped. I just can’t get my head around anything that is new or has changed. to blame?
I’d let the tea go cold, so ventured into the kitchenette to get the kettle on again… Guess what?

I’d left the hot tap running yet again. idiot, dumbo, twit… take your choice!

Still, I managed to take a couple of photographs that didn’t come out too bad. Not that that dissolved any feeling of guilt. Self-hatred, or simply feeling shame, at leaving the tap running.

l went back to the grind of blogging and making little progress other than to amend mistakes that I had made earlier on.

The tea went cold again! Back to make another, and the haze had cleared a little. Back with the brew to the front room.

I got the Lumix and took these to slightly clearer pictures through the glass on the balcony. Almost reluctantly, I got on with blogging. Because I was making such a mess of things, and I just carried in in the same way again, I’m not feeling too good here, as you may have noticed. Hehe!

Arrived, he was not looking too good at all. His ticker was racing, and he looked drained. This worried me, I asked if I should call an ambulance, but he said no.
The poor lad was not food at all. The session was lost to my concerns, can’t be sure, but I think he helped me with the paperwork… I’m just not sure. I walked with him to the door and wished him well. If he turns up tomorrow, I’ll be surprised; I’m concerned for him.

That put the mockers on everything after that. Couldn’t concentrate on anything at all.
I believe I had a turn myself then. Cause at around 14:30hrs, it was as if I woke up, wondering what I’d been doing. I vaguely remember Josie returning the plates and things. Not much else.
The oven was on, with nothing in it. Which I put to rights and got some potato Rostis in it.

acci-whoop I burnt my right index finger on the oven! Doesn’t look much, but it hurts like hell!
Can’t type now; the finger is so tender to touch for typing. Odd, that?

Going to have to try again later.

Wednesday updating of this post, from the scribble pad: Dementia Doreen is withholding the actual memories. So, not much detail, I’m afraid. Found this graphic in the diary file.
Can’t recall making it? Dated for today, mind you?

I do recall this rather sad-looking meal that I made. Two sourdough baps, six potato-Rostis. A liberal portion of BBQ sauce for sipping into. And a pot of the soya lemon yoghourt. But I did enjoy it, and I spotted a scribbled 8.4/10 on the notepad. Which I assumed to be the taste rating given?

Must have some rain then.

Naturally, I was trying to watch a ‘Heartbeat’ episode again.
I was soon woken up, though.
Appeared, and we soon had the medications done. I was waffling again, Tsk!
Went with her to the door (I know this because it was locked this morning). Carolynne took the waste bag with her, and I locked the door.

Tried to watch the second episode of ‘Heartbeat’. Zzz!

0450hrs: I stirred back into fabricated life. And it was Thought-Stormless! This has not been known for months now. All seemed calm in the bonce, too! Was she on holiday? And where was worry guts, ? Even was not the slightest bit interested in me! was the only ailment that was giving me trouble. As for even , she was noticeable by her absence! I was almost in a laid-back mode… I think. Not been like this for many years. What was going on? Had I been drugged or something?

I almost casually escaped the clutches of the c1968, £300 pound, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner, and moved over to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket), suffering slightly as rushed to avoid any accidents with of PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling) trying to start of its own accord. Then had t wait for ages for the PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling) to stop!
Yet I seemed to take this all in my stride. Off to the kitchen to make a brew… Still no Glengettie available, but some should be coming today from Amazon.

I leant out of the kitchen window to take these two pictures.
The sky, and then the Chestnut Way car park below.

While I was mashing the mug of Thompson’s Signature tea, the oddest thing happened: I felt the micro-shuddering in the right leg, and I was convinced that there was about to be a Right-Leg-Dance routine kick-off. But no! Instead,   burst into life, which ensured that the freshly made mug of tea was knocked over. I had the right mess to clean up!
As I was getting down to do so, an burst forth, which had me down on one knee! During this, I banged the top of my head on edge of the kitchen top and knocked the papule! How it didn’t come off I don’t know, but I was glad it didn’t…

Then noticed I’d left the hot tap running in the sink again, and the water was stone-cold! Yet, still, I remained cool and calm. So, no hot water to use for the ablutions for a long time yet.
So, I got some water in the large saucepan and put it on a low light. Putting the freshly-filled saucepan back on the stove, and had another, albeit only for a few seconds this time, of the routines. During this, I split some water on the stove, me and the floor! I was beginning to get a smidgeon uptight now! Well, can you blame me?
I made another brew of Thompson.s Punjana tea. While it was brewing, I got an itch around the papule on my head. Removed the hat and went to scratch it…

ADVICE:
In the event you get an itch on a papule – do not scratch or pick at it.
Especially if you have an old dilapidated wristwatch on that has a split buckle with sharp bits sticking out.
Just thought I’d mention it, like.

I made up some waste bags, put them near the door, and got the computer on.
Checked the Emails, and I’d got this come in from Amazon. Confirmation that the Glengettie teabags are arriving today. Oh, good!
I was not too keen on the ‘Arriving today by 10 PM’ bit. But still, they are worth the wait. It’s just the thought of my managing to stay up that long that worries me. Still, they may come earlier than that! Optimism now, what next? Hahaha!

I got on with updating the Wednesday blog. I started reasonably well, but as time went by, I worked my way back into making errors, mistakes, and wrong corrections. Plus, a few Blanks didn’t help me much.

I was working my back to things being normal (Farcical, with a hint of brain-deadisms), I think?

After about three hours, I’d got the blog finalised and posted to WordPress. Things seem to be changing from my waking up in almost high spirits and sinking back to the usual quotidian ways.

As I was Pinteresting some photographs… and…

Thanks to Smoke & mirrors: (someone who draws attention away from often embarrassing or unpleasant figures or issues) man Mr Fries’s inability, even when getting paid a $23.7M salary, to get an internet service to work, I went to take some photographs.
Even more determined this time to get some zoomed-in photos of the moon that showed something of the moon’s surface.
Another failure! As anticipated and expected.

Can I blame the hazy morning sky? Hehehe! No? Fair enough!

Played from the door chime. Of course, when it went off, I suddenly realised I had not unlocked the door yet.

I hastened to the door and unlocked it. The picture on ‘s face said it all. “There’s no hope for him!” Hehehe!
Richard got the medications sorted out. He’d heard about my farce at the hospital yesterday. We had a laugh about it, actually. Then he went through the paperwork they had sent me home with and identified the things he thought I ought to remember, and wrote them down on the whiteboard for me.
He took the waste bags with him on the way out. And made for his bed, I hope he can get some R&R along with it. A grand lad.

I got a landline call; I think she was saying that I needed to make an appointment for an ECG before they could refer me to someone for help with dealing with getting me help with . I couldn’t understand why, but apparently, they are not too happy with the blood test results from last week? Oh!

Then we made an appointment for Wednesday 16th November at 14:30hrs.

Thanks to Fries, the internet was still not back on. So, I used the time to try and call Deana to arrange lifts for Wednesday the 16th to the doctor, and Thursday at 10:00hrs to Bulwell, returning at 12:00hrs. I couldn’t get her, though. I put these in the calendar and on the Whiteboard.

I got on the now working again internet, and then made a start on this blog. It was slow-going, no doubt about that.

Tried to get through to Deana once more, but no luck.

I was deep into pressing on with this blog, and sounded, and in came Esther. That was the end of any concentrating. Hehe! But Esther, despite talking to me from the other rooms, got the laundry down into the machine and returned.
She rang for me to arrange the two lifts I needed. Thank heavens she came! That gave me some ease of mind, not having to worry about them. And they could do both, thankfully for me. Phew!

I managed to do some more work on this blog for an hour or two.
Rang, and in walked Carer Charly. She was in a rush and a half.
Got the medications sorted, but we could not find the Peptac bottle. I found one in the prescriptions drawer. Maybe we used the last of the other bottle, but I can’t remember. still, we have enough. I’m just annoyed that I can’t remember about it.

I checked on the potatoes in the oven, finding I had not increased the heat sufficiently earlier on. Tsk!. I took this picture from the kitchen window while checking on the nosh. It came out a lot lighter than what it was but shows the varying colour of the skies. Greys and blues, ah, Mother Nature!

Yee-Ha!

Amber and the High-Norm rating again!
No idea how they work these things out, but I’ve only got one (SYS) in the green, same as yesterday (Temp) – but the results were so much lower and betterer! Beats me, but I like it!

I got the food served up, got down in the£300, used, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966 built, discomfiting, alarmingly Kharki-beige coloured, crumb containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner. Meal on my knee and turned on the TV. That was a waste of time. All those channels and nothing worth watching were on.

So I thought I’d get the radio on and started searching for the headphones. After several minutes of failure (I get used to these, you know), my memory kicked in, and I remember breaking the headphones when I sat on them last month! Hey-Ho!

Back to the now not-so-hot meal. believe it or not,  than what yesterday’s nosh did!
A simple meal for a simple-minded, dithering old bald, confused senior citizen. Just baked potatoes with vegan butter and sea salt.
The bread thins had gone really dry, so they were not eaten. The BBQ sauce was dipped into by both the sausages and potatoes. The tiny pot of Soya Lemon Yoghourt rounded off the meal. A Flavour-Rating of 8/10 granted, even if it was a little cold.

I washed the pots, and I resettled into the £300, second-hand, c1968, charity shop-bought, eyesorely-horrendously grungy coloured, Harold Haemorrhoid-testing, easily-falloutable from, unfit-for-use, not working, recliner, in search of Sweet Morpheus. And I was soon of into a dream filled (can’t remember what about) sleep for about an hour…

I woke up in so much pain it took my breath away at first. was rampant in both calves. I repeatedly got up and tried to hobble about, to try to free the tightness. I failed, of course!
Every time, it eased a little, back in the recliner, feet up, and within minutes it started again. Several times I tried the Phorpain gel massaging. I even took some Paracetamol; that didn’t help either. Then a Codeine… I woke in agony that often it was getting to me. I was at my wit’s end with it.

I was taking what must have been for the tenth time, a hobble and stretching exercise, massaging, more pain gel, another Codeine 30g… I know I was taking too many, but the unbearably of the this morning forced me to try anything at the time.

I gave myself a  as I utilised the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket). That meant the positive end of any further aspirations, ideas or hopes of sleeping again! Not that I had more than an hour at most!

Letters, emails, comments and text messages, with any help that can be offered, on any ways to prevent this from happening again, or ease the pain at least, would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
