Can life really be so confusing?
Baffling, grinding and bemusing?
Painful at times, but what the hell…
It’d Doreen Dementia I’ve got to quell…
The brain is ever battered and bruising,
But how to extinguish her? Nobody can tell?

Blood in the night pouch.
I tried so hard to make these photos clear. But, no!
Straight down on the bottom field.
To the right, a smidgeon…
To the left, a little smidgeon.
Then into the maze of houses opposite.
Oh, good colour this time on emptying.
I got an email telling me that the Amazon order had been delivered!
![]()
My two boxes & other deliveries for 3 other
flats in the block, Consisting of six packages,
were left in the ground floor lobby.
I got my dressing gown on, emptied the part full
day bag, grabbed the 3-wheeler walker trolley, and set off down to the lobby. When I saw the stack of parcels on the table, my heart sank. This is the second time this week that items have been left to be stolen from the lobby area. Last time, I was not in good health, and two ladies helped me up to the flat with the items. This time, I was in better Physical Health. Not necessarily mental health. If I recall, the flats’ destinations were the 4th, 9th and 11th floors.

I got up to the first flat, and no one was in. So I left the parcel near the front door of the apartment. Then up in the elevator to the 4th floor and handed the man his parcels. Up to the 11th, and gave the lady her parcel, then I made my way back to my flat, got inside and hate kettle on…
But…

As you can see above, I started to open my parcels and took out the contents of the split one… Ladies thingies! I got the spy-glass and realised it was for the lady on the 11th floor – I’d misread the label.
I grabbed Wally the 3-Wheeled Walker, exited the flat, and got back down to the 11th floor and apologised for opening it, and handed it to the lady. Who was alright about it.
Back to the flat, and opened what was my delivery. Tsk!
Food seasonings! Which were used later in the making of, well, potato & veg soup, I suppose. Then, I tried to catch the end of a film #I was watching when Amazon emailed me to lie about the delivery being done.
A proper good enjoyable oldie it was too. Peter (overacting) Cushion, Doug McClure – pure take-yourself-out-of-yourself stuff!
At The Earths Core
1978: Terrible acting, scenery, and special effects…
I Love IT!
Shame that the DVD does not have any subtitles.
Else I’d have bought a copy.
Brilliant entertainment. Go with it to enjoy it!
Anyway, thanks to Amazon, I missed it!
I also missed the sunsetting. Humph!
Still, I took these later on… of the dank dark night…

I got the veg soup seasoned, simmered and served up.
Flavour rating: 9.2/10.
Emptied the day pouch in readiness for the night pouch to be fitted. But it wasn’t… I forgot all about it.
Heckithump! Blood in the urine again!

While doing the brewing,

And, I not long since when taking the shower shaving routine, that my right hanging-sack is swollen and so tender. Humph!

I got wrapped up well, remembered the Sample tube thingy, filled, of course. Hehe!
We arrived at the next stop, and a lady and gent got on. It’s been so long since I saw them since I don’t get out much, and I greeted them like family and launched into questioning them about how they were getting on. The lady said she was sorry, but they were getting off at the next bus stop. Then a sickening feeling filled my stomach, with a self-hating mode coming on when I realised where we were, going in the opposite direction. I’d got on the wrong bus!
This arrived within three minutes and five more, and we were pulling up at the Sherrington Park Surgery. The sun came out as I paid my dues.
I don’t suppose for one second that they bother my uninvited interloping brain resident, Dementia Doreen, do you think?
I told the Doc all about my four sleepless nights and the mushrooming, three-time it’s usual size tender right bit in my men’s department. I can’t be certain, but I thought I detected a little wry-smile creep into her expression.
what she said clearly.
then. Haha!
worse. I really am in the shit now, and have to walk to the chemist and then catch two buses to get home!
There was only one really near-bothersome that happened en route.

I leant out of the kitchen window to take these two pictures.
So, I got some water in the large saucepan and put it on a low light. Putting the freshly-filled saucepan back on the stove, and had another, albeit only for a few seconds this time, of the
it was brewing, I got an itch around the papule on my head. Removed the hat and went to scratch it…
I made up some waste bags, put them near the door, and got the computer on.

Thanks to Smoke & mirrors: (someone who draws attention away from often embarrassing or unpleasant figures or issues) man Mr Fries’s inability, even when getting paid a $23.7M salary, to get an internet service to work, I went to take some photographs.
I got a landline call; I think she was saying that I needed to make an appointment for an ECG before they could refer me to someone for help with dealing with getting me help with
I checked on the potatoes in the oven, finding I had not increased the heat sufficiently earlier on. Tsk!.

Back to the now not-so-hot meal. believe it or not,
Every time, it eased a little, back in the recliner, feet up, and within minutes it started again. Several times I tried the Phorpain gel massaging. I even took
some Paracetamol; that didn’t help either. Then a Codeine… I woke in agony that often it was getting to me. I was at my wit’s end with it.
exercise, massaging, more pain gel, another Codeine 30g… I know I was taking too many, but the unbearably of the

That’s all apart from the few things below that were not involved with getting on with the blog and making even more errors in it. I was fixated on getting it caught up with.

Then I also discovered the one below, of the car parking on Chestnut Way.
At long last, around 2I:40hrs, I got the chilli meal sorted.

Achromatopsia Archie to contend with… the only excuse I could think of. Hahaha! I delayed making the brew, so I could get the

Pressure figures. I put them in the medical site’s programme and returned this descriptive g

That took a while too. Better get summat to eat before the evening carer arrives. Now then, what’s
in the fridge freezer to have? I shall investigate… hang on; I’ve got some potatoes already on the boil.
I’ll get a meal of some sort sorted out. Potatoes, tomatoes, and pretend fish sticks, it looks like. Good job. I’ve got the JS order coming on Sunday. It’s looking bare in the fridge after throwing away the short and out-of-date food. Tsk!
Well, I managed to knock up a half-acceptable-looking plate of fodder.
I was worn out by then.

I finished the cleaning and sanitising, made up a waste bag, and started prepping to do Josie’s

was utilised to get the Blood Pressure readings. Another set of reasonable returns for today, as it has been for three days on the trot now! SYS 148. DIA 70 and the Pulse had gone up smidgeon to 91bpm.
My Chinese (Hong Kong) made Shenzhen Relee Electronic & Technology Co. Ltd™, contactless thermometer, showed an increase to 34.6°c. I think that’s a good sign. Much better than of late…
Off to check on Josie’s chilli meal. All looked and tasted good when I had a spoonful.
I got my nosh done and served it on the tray. BBQ rice and two veggie sausages, with a banana to follow. Nice enough. Taste rating 7.2/10
nodded off. Of course, within minutes, I jumped back into life, as is usual for me nowadays. And I felt like I could manage something else to eat. I took the ray knife and porcelain bowl into the kitchen and soaked them in the washing up bowl. At first, I thought, aha, I’ll have some cornflakes, checked to see if there was enough milk to use, and remembered about the NoBull ice cream in the freezer. I opted to have that instead. I polished it all off, and boy, it was so tasty too! Took the tray back to the sink and washed it with the other stuff in the bowl.
Now a new thought arrived. I’ll have to find out where I bought the vegetarian ice cream and get some more ordered; it was that good! I checked on the J Sainsbury order coming tomorrow but could not find any vegetarian ice cream at all. So, I had a look at the Iceland site. Ah, there it was, and on offer as well! I had to spend a minimum of £40, but that’s no problem for a shopaholic like me. Hehehe! Veggie burgers, treats for the carers, cheese & onion pasties, strawberries, tomatoes, mushrooms, butter, BO spray, spring water, chips, and, of course, the NoMoo ice cream!

The view from the kitchenette window was very similar to yesterday’s beautiful picture.
another brew. Glengettie this time, and I tried the new ‘Just Milk’ in it again.
Made another brew, Thompsons Punjana this time. Oh, I am spoilt for choices with great tasting teas! My best four are, from the top: Glengettie, Thompsons Punjana, Co-op 99 and JS Extra Strong Brown Label. But there is little between them. All great!
Mr Nice, from the flat above, launched into some clanging about.
Better get some nosh sorted out then.
Even with the Cataracts, it caught my eye that the popularity of car colours on the front spaces. Grey, black and white seems to be in fashion here at the towers. Disabled ones, perhaps?
I got the nosh all sorted out. Fishcakes with mushy peas in them, imitation fish sticks, tomatoes and some reasonably decent chips. Dessert and milk roll bread. Rating: 7/10.
As I checked around to make sure no taps or lights had been left on and all was safe – I saw the view from the kitchenette window. It was beautiful; I got the Canon and took this photo.
