I learnt today that my DNA was adenoviral…
Dying neurotransmitters made it aetiological…
To my brain, this was not logical…
It sounded pretty comical,
Most of my problems are neurological,
But this ailment may be attenuable…
That was a shock, unbelievable!
Me? Get an ailment that’s treatable?
Possibly, maybe perhaps, even curable!
The hope is to make this abrogable,
I thought this test result may be apocryphal,
He said it could be operationable…
There’s a chance your heart may go asystole,
“That’ll be fine; it’ll save me buying a pistol!”
He frowned & said; Are you suicidal?
“No, it was a joke, I was being risible!
He laughed, saying, “Haha, some people!”

Continued from Monday:

The first visit to the WC was a Constipation Conrad torpedo of mammoth proportions, which pleased me, given the upcoming medical visits later today. There is less chance of embarrassment from any leaks.

I got on the computer to finish Monday’s blog. Then, most surprisingly, I was summoned to the porcelain Throne again. I was even more amazed at Trotsky Terence in control again! Which made me feel a fool for mentioning how pleased I was with Constipation Conrad. Now, I think the opposite. Coping with the bloody catheter is bad enough, especially with having to wear trousers again, the first time in months. I regained the worry over any leaks from the catheter or it filling up while I was out; now I fear things may escape from the rear end!
I pressed on with starting this blog. And half an hour into the job – unbloody-believable!
This third visit was messy and ultra-gooey in the extreme! It’s a good job that I have plenty of toilet paper and air freshener to hand in the wet room. Now, I worry about the bus journeys to and from the medics. Can I avoid any getting on and off of the bus? Will there be any waiting for what is needed? That will give it more time to leak or burst on the bus or during surgery. And walking is not an option anymore. That would take me an hour each way and almost guarantee an on the trips to and from Sherwood. It turned out to be a lot longer.

Stopping here, wait for the caregiver, put on socks, take medications, and then do the ablutions. Then, sort out what is needed for the trip and leave before midday for the surgery: bus pass, collapsable walking stick, Medical card, appointment card, and log book. Empty the catheter bag, wear new PPs, and wear trousers. Oh, and hearing aids and put on long-distance spectacles.+ Keys.

It’s all a challenge that no one should have to go through. But, with no one to help, I must sort it out myself.
Life can be a @?*⇓⊗! No! Life is a @?*⇓⊗!.

Care Christopher arrived and put on my socks. He also took the laundry bag at my request. I haven’t received it yet, but it’s only been 25 hours so far. Oh, I get them back.

Care Sam came later. She could see the state I was in with my nerves. She kindly helped me get the things together for the journey-to-hell send-back. (Well, it was a struggle, as I hope you will read about later.) Sam kindly walked me to the bus stop, which was kind of her. When leaving the flat, she returned to get my hat, which I had forgotten to put on. But, waiting for the bus, I remembered the last time I went on one and fell getting onto the bus, and then off of it!

I chickened out and walked down Winchester Street Hill into Sherwood, carefully and slowly. The famously cracked pavements were now covered with leaves in sheltered areas, and it was difficult to manoeuvre the three-wheeled-walker when hitting leaf-covered potholes. No falls yet. I reached the bottom of Winchester Street and went up Mansfield Road to the supposedly arranged flu jab at the top chemist. On the way up the hill, I called in the Co-op and got some food. As I walked up towards the chemist, the atmosphere was bleak. Nine people on that short stretch of the incline sat in closed shop doorways with the traditional pot of coffee, begging and giving out depressing stares that could melt you if you looked back at them. Poor devils or con men?
I plodded up the hill to the chemists, taking my time so I wasn’t too early for the flu jab appointment.
Whoopsiedangleplop. The lady said I was not booked for a jab, and anyway, the lady who does them is not in on Tuesdays. I explained that my caregiver had rung to make the appointment, but she may have made it at a different chemist. I might not have explained which one very carefully. I think I was in a mini-seizure when she made the calls. She recommended I try the bottom chemist, a quarter of a mile down the hill and almost up the high point on the right. So I began the long trek down and up Mansfield Road to the second chemist to investigate. I got so far down and remembered there was a chemist to the north that the Carer might have booked me in with. Turned around, passing the Co-op and first chemist back up the hill and down to the Daybrook Chemist. I was feeling knackered by then! Got there. So, back up the Mansfield Road Hill to Sherwood, down through Sherwood to the chemist.
Nope, I wasn’t booked in with him either.
He rang other chemists without any luck. But Carrington Chemist could do me now and give me the COVID-19 jab.
It was another dangerous trip over the hill and down into Carrington. Before crossing any roads, the pavements and high steps on that route need working out.
Finally, I got there and was told they would not start the injections for 20 minutes. ‘Take a seat’; I was told in a way that dared not take one. So, I sat down, knowing the agony I’d be in when standing up again from Cartilages Chloe & Carole! With all the walking and hobbling, fighting to keep three-wheeled-walker-wally from tipping over, that I’d done.
I was first in the queue, though. I got i
nto the treatment room. The lady said she could not give me the DVT procedure but did give me the COVID and Flu jabs. An assistant stopped me on my way out. She had some Prescriptions that I could take with me. Which, hopefully, will mean Carer Richard will not have to fetch them for me this week. I must remember to tell the Carers later on about this.

Then, the long slog back up the Mansfield Road hill and down into Sherwood began.
I crossed the road to return on that side, thinking the pavements might be easier to navigate. They weren’t.
I pressed on steadily and carefully.
I did not experience arm pain, but there were plenty from the Cartilages. The arm aches started when I got into the flat.
I called into the continental shop and got some food. Then, I finally reached the bottom of Winchester Street. I have no idea of the bus timings nowadays, so I hastened… Haha! And hobbled up Winchester to the bus stop.
Luckily a bus was due in six minutes.
I stood up on the bus. I didn’t want to start Chloe and Carole off again. The arms were twinging a little now, not as bad as later on, and in the morning, Wow!

Gt in the flats, said hello to Warden Julie as I passed, and up to the flat. Food & sleep, I’m sure, were primarily on my mind.
And boy, after eating, (I took a snap of the meal as I recall, and the batteries ran out in Kodak Tim. Did I sleep? Yep! I slept for about 14 hours!

INCHY’S PAINFUL INSPIRATION

I was so chuffed with my handling all of the confusion,
Although, at times, it seemed like a hallucination,
Sorting the chemistas out crippled my bunion!
I felt like I’d walked to and back from Euston!
It was painful to free myself from inaction,
I suffered incapacitation but had an incarnation.
Despite the pain from the Covid and Flu injections,
And having to face averbal inquisition,
I say this with no doubts but justification…

I believe this should/could be achievable…
Twice a week, if the weather is allowable…
I’ll take a walk around the flats, well, a hobble!
It may be stopped by Bunion Baz or Cartilage Carol,

Inchies, Fungal lesion, Diabetes, things Peripheral,
Seizures Sandra,  Sham’s Shocks electrical,
No problem, I can always reschedule!
The hobble will naturally start off ephemeral…
If this goes well, and my body is permissible,

Although these plans sound frangible…
My new power may make them possible!

But I’ve no desire to walk so far ever again!

MEMORIES OF NOTTINGHAM
Stabbings, killings, drugging, & the underrated shoplifting.

Lance Francis, 25, received the longest sentence of 14 years after being convicted of riot and arson with intent to endanger life.
Reiss Wilson, 21, was jailed for 12 years. Wilson admitted riot, perverting the course of justice and arson being reckless as to whether life is endangered.
Curtis Dejean, 19, was detained for 10 years. Callum Powell, 20, of Jarrow Gardens, Top Valley, was found guilty of rioting and sentenced to five-and-a-half years in a young offenders’ institute. Shaundrie Robinson, 22, of Scotholme Avenue, Hyson Green, was also found guilty of rioting and jailed for five years. Gregory Coleman, 20, of Broxtowe, was found guilty of rioting and sentenced to five years in a young offenders’ institute. Anthony Edwards, 24, of Noel Street, Hyson Green, admitted to riot and was jailed for three years and nine months. Ashton Alexander, 19, of Radford Road, New Basford, admitted rioting and was sentenced to four years in a young offenders’ institute. Harrison McCalla, 21, of Carlswark Gardens, Top Valley, admitted to riot, jailed for four-and-a-half years. Lucas Stapleton, 18, of Dulwich Road, Radford, admitted rioting and was sentenced to two years and nine months in a young offenders’ institute. Ricardo Cotteral, 23, of Basford Road, Basford, admitted to violent disorder and was jailed for three years. Bobby Muers, 18, of Caunton Avenue, St Ann’s, admitted violent disorder, sentenced to 15 months in youth custody. Kaiden Howell, 16, of St Ann’s, admitted violent disorder and was sentenced to six months’ detention and training. Marcus Wynter, 16, of St Ann’s, admitted violent disorder, sentenced to four month’s detention and training. Shaundre Robinson, 22, of Scotholme Avenue, Hyson Green, received five years in prison. Kaiden Howell, 16, of Eccles Way, St Ann’s, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and was jailed for six months. These young lads sent down are all out now, free once again to commit more crimes. Of these eight, they tell me that six are back in the lock-up. And all eight have offended again. They seem to be just as violent as before.
Attempted murder, arson, murder, stabbing, rape, drug offences, and having offensive weapons in public.

What an odd night’s sleep last night.
I’m sure that the moments between waking up with a jump were followed by a dream. I felt so unsettled each time, but I cannot now recall anything about their disturbing contents.
I soon remembered that DVT Warfarin Nurse Hristina was coming this morning to take some blood for testing.
About 06:15hrs, I rose slowly from the slumber and limped off to the wet room to get a wash & shave.
Constipation Conrad was back in full charge of the action again. One gigantic torpedo, followed immediately by golf ball-sized, sea-mine-shaped lump. The contents had three distinctly different colours. Mostly Kharki, with bits of black and red from the blood that trickled out. Damned painful!

It was too early to use the noisy shower, so I had a good stand-up wash and shave. The Razors scored a few nicks and cuts, but the Brut stopped the blood flow.

I went to get the kettle on and took this poor shot of the view from the kitchenette window.
Shaking Shaun visited me at the wrong time. Tsk!

Kicked-off, nice and steady at first.
But she soon got into one of the persistent rhythms, and I was all over the place mentally. I don’t know how I managed to get things done, albeit mostly wrongly, and I need corrections.
I’m sure things were not helped by the pain from causing a lot of bleeding this afternoon.
I gave out the odd, Argh! Ooh & naughty words.

Carer Richard did the first call. Carer Chloe the second. And Carer Joanne popped in with the washing she does for me, bless her, the thin, long nightshirts that cannot go in a washer. She even hung them up for me (she has a catheter, so she knows the pain that a catheter can inflict ♥) and said she would try to contact Easy Link to sort out a lift for next Monday for me to go to and back from the DVT test to see if I need an operation… not that I’d live long enough with the length of the waiting list. Haha!

I may not have time to write a blog tomorrow, so I will see if I can start on it tonight. A cartoon and an Ode would be better than nothing. I can always post it if the medications don’t do what they did to me last time. (I’m having the flu jab as well.) I think I slept for 22 hours after the jab the previous time.

Earlier End Views are allowed to save! YeeHaa!.
The end car park.
The Tree Copse.
Can’t remember, but this may have been from yesterday.

I’m getting hungry now. I’ll get a meal, and if anything happens and it lets me put photos on, I’ll catch up in the morning. Oh, no, I’ll not have time. Well, if I get up early enough, I’ll have time. I’m struggling here. What I’ll be like after the jab, I don’t know. I hope they do the procedure if needed, that is, first, and then after the jab, I can rush back here to fall asleep for a day, just like last year.

TTFN – Back in the morning.

Good Morning! Tuesday A.M.
04:10hrs: Lousy sleep. I got up and struggled with getting the night pouch off. I sorted the waste bags; I must remember to ask the Carer to take the laundry bag; it’s full already.
I got on the computer to try to finish this blog. I hope there is time for me to start on Tuesdays. I have to sort the medication, bus pass, ablutions, and get dressed. I haven’t been out for that long; I’ve forgotten the bus times. I hope the catheter bag does not fill up while I’m out and about. Also, Arthur Itsis, Anne Gyns, Cartilages Cathy, and Chloe don’t play up with this sudden-to-them exercise. Hehe!
I’m praying that Sandra’s Seizures don’t kick off when I’m getting on or off the bus or in traffic.

TTFN again!

A day of struggling with my memory…
My concentration was kept in custody,
Gladys Glaucoma ensured my sight was misty,
The computer seemed friendlier to me, alackaday…
Well, in the early morning, anyway,
Pain on & off all day from Catheter Cathy,
Guess who was back? Toothache Tiffany!
Earache Erasmus also bothered me!
The mini-seizures got carried away…
So, the blog contents read scarcely.
I’ll catch up with it one day…
I’d better get on with it without delay…

I think there must be someone high up there,
Who decided who would or would not have hair,
A sort of overlord, Tsar or Universal Emporer,
Who decided what would be unfair or fair…
Created humankind, including Pol Pot &
Hitler,
Mugabe, Stalin, Putin, so many experts in tyranny,
Giving his creations free will was undoubtedly silly.
National leaders full of thimbleriggery,
Thus, we have wars, dictators and seigniory,
Nations ruled discretely by the oligarchy,
Dominated in the name of greed, sinfully,
I see the end of Earthlings… undoubtedly,
Did he/she mean to create humankind’s ubiquity?
Was he/she mistaken in giving us free will? Maybe!
Why bother at all? Was it experimentally?
A challenge from the boss of the next galaxy?
Was Earth ever meant to be cruelly umpty?
Should it have been mankind-free?
If accurate, Adam & Eve are the ones guilty!
I was going to muse over Starmer, you see…
But I’ve got to go for another urinoscopy,
Not that I’ll ever again manually pee!

So far behind. Going to be a cut-short version.

Morning views.

Ablutions carried out. 3 tiny cuts shaving. Little Inchie fungal lesion bleeding. Shaking Shoulder Shirley throughout the session. Porcelain Throne painful, bloody and yet messy as well? Beats me!

08:45: The caregiver arrived. He had been delayed somewhere and was in a rush to catch up. I forgot to ask him to put on the diabetic socks for me. I’m blooming cold! Hehe!

Computer on. Update from Windows, update from WordPress and update from CorelDraw.

The browser froze again.

I still hadn’t got the browser available. Carer Joanne did the midday call. (I gave her a gentle hug and a kiss) Joanne put on the new socks for me—bless her. THe hospital kept her in on her visit. The test showed various levels tested for to be too high or low. (Catheter-needing problems, so painful). Gladly, she is out again, obviously. Super news! XXX

I’m assuming here cause the timings etc., could well be all too cocked up, as I spent so long getting the computer to restart and work, I did not make any notes on the reminder pad.

Took these close-ups of the local residences.

The Browser played up again, and an update took a long time. So, I took some more Kodak photos.

The DVT Nurse Hristina rang. I think she said that she would be calling on Monday around 08:00hrs. The reason for my uncertainty is that a mammoth seizure, the longest I’ve ever had, came over me after I put the phone down.
When things clicked back in with me, I’d been working on the computer and making a hash of it. It took me hours to make things right. Then when I went on CorelDraw, I found I’d done the same there. I’d also saved some photos, not many, but they were saved all over the place, and again, a lot of time was lost searching for them to use, as the computer had stopped allowing me to save again. That needed me to use the Ccleaner; by the time I got the long-winded procedure over with, I’d forgotten where I was before!
Depressions Dawned!

These seizures are a fantastic thing to understand. They can come on for seconds without me even realising, or like this one did, for hours. I merrily press on, no idea what I’m doing or have done. A sort of… erm, I’m not sure how to describe it.
If the telephone rings, the door chimes, or anyone comes in the room, I’m instantly back in the running, aware, almost alert. But this is often reversed when I find the things I’d been doing that I’d forgotten about. One such instance today was when Chris left after the evening call. I found a paper dish with crumbs in it, and it was warm on the side of the sink. I must have heated it up in the microwave and eaten it; no food was in the bin. This morning, I realised the cornish pastie was not in the fridge… it must have been in my tummy? Hahaha!

This may be why I often go to the fridge to get something and find it is not there? Worralife!
I assume it could be linked to or spurred on by FND. Neuropathic Myoclonus: (sudden, brief involuntary twitching or jerking of a muscle or group of muscles. The twitching cannot be stopped or controlled by the person experiencing it.

All these are linked to Peripheral Neuropathy, which itself is caused by one’s Neurotransmitter’s dying. This causes problems for the brain to read the messages being sent to it, and often, the brain gets confused and responds with the wrong responses.

It’s challenging to master cooking in a microwave.

TTFNski, Each.

Greeted me as I finally woke up after a lengthy sleep of two hours! A smidgeon of . I was not in the bed. Well, I was, but I got out again. Back-Pain-Brenda did not like it at all. So I moved to the c1966, ÂŁ300, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige-coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner. Brenda was happier there, painful still, but not by so much. Then, I removed the night bag from the catheter contraption. What an odd mixed colour it was?
I went off to get the kettle on, and I took this snap of the view out there. This one was oddly coloured as well. To my eyes, there were no clouds at all. I may have taken it in the wrong mode, I think. To the wetroom next, to visit the . Boy, was it painful! Bloody as well, my poor rear-end’s got grounded and burst by the cement like evacuating product. I was pleased at first that there was no splattering to clean up. But blood had dribbled down the legs. No winning for me. Trotsky or Conrad, one or the other extreme to cope with. It’s never an ordinary session nowadays.

I went to sort out the waste bins and took these two shots from the kitchenette window. The top one shows the shadow of the block of flats as the sun rose from the left. The bottom one is taken to the left and higher up. This shows what, to me, are incredible cloud formations. I spotted some figures in the clouds. The human face is high on the left with his big nose, and he points his finger to the right? Also, a long-beaked bird. Can you see any?

I was about to turn on the kettle when the intercom chime chimed out. It was the J Sainsbury order. I’ve already made an order for food from Asda for next week. Huh! Read on.
Got the goods in boxes, and the catheter needed gallons of water in the hallway.
Carried the boxes into the kitchen and unloaded them to put away, taking some snaps as I did so.

The first box I emptied out contained Milk Roll Bread, Cornish pasties, lamb patties, and Lemon yoghourts. Oh, and a free can of Coke!
The second box, which I emptied, contained Luxurious Limoncello desserts, beef slices, tomatoes, Bartlett potatoes, soft Flora spread, and bleach. Then, I tackled the third one of the boxes.
Energy drinks were not for me; they are on my ‘Forbidden Foods List’, along with so many other foods: Cranberries, pineapple, grapefruit. Barred foods: broccoli, spinach, kale, collard greens, cauliflower, sprouts, asparagus, cabbage, lettuce, chard, mustard greens, turnip greens, parsley, chickpeas, liver, egg yolks, mature cheese, blue cheese, avocado, beef liver, green tea, and Alcohol. St. John’s wort. Tuna fish in oil, as well as peanuts and peas, might cause problems. Certain vegetable oils have high amounts of vitamin K. Foods that are low in vitamin K include roots, bulbs, tubers, & some fruits.
The type of clotting factor that Warfarin interferes with is called the vitamin K-dependent clotting factor. Warfarin works by decreasing the amount of vitamin K in your body. Without enough vitamin K to use, the vitamin K-dependent clotting factor can’t help your blood to clot like it should.
Avoid: Antibiotics ciprofloxacin or fluconazole. Seizure drugs, Ibuprofen, Fluoxetine, Aspirin, Clopidogrel, Hepain, Gingko Biloba, garlic, Co-enzyme Q10,
TIPS:
Some serious side effects of warfarin can include excessive bleeding from wounds and death of skin tissue. This is caused by small blood clots blocking oxygen flow to your skin. Toe pain can be a symptom of skin death.
Pain, swelling, and redness in your legs. Difficulty breathing, Chest pain, Trouble moving your limbs, Trouble seeing, walking, or speaking. (Well, I’ve all of them!)
Check your toes often, especially if you feel discomfort, and contact your doctor as soon as possible if you experience pain.

Hahaha! If? Hehehe!

I lost the plot there, sorry!

I finished making the waste bags and putting them near the flat’s door, then returned to the computer to ensure that things would work. I hope!

Within minutes, the intercom buzzed again. I thought the Asda driver had forgotten something, or maybe the Social Lady was visiting… I hoped! But it was neither. It was the Asda order for next week that had arrived!
WHAT A PLONKER!
I’ve done it again—I ordered two food deliveries in the same week, and even worse, I ordered them for the same day and time!
Depression Derek Dawned!

The driver put the goods into boxes and bags for me. He had to shoot off; he was miles behind with his schedule of deliveries. Poor chap. He left the boxes in the hallway for me. And I sorted them out in the kitchenette – with a definite feeling of de-ja-vu! Marmite cheese, beef slices, lemon fool, and lemon curd desserts are on view. Three ready-made meals, Cumberland pie, Shepherds pie and a Lamb Hot Pot. A BBQ pork pie, a reasonable price that, a third off the regular price! Lamb pattie, and half-price imitation chicken, cooked chicken pieces.
Getting them into the already full fridge was a work of art. As you can see from the photo on the left, I took a picture of the fridge’s contents. I hope I can read the sell-by dates without dropping something as I manoeuvre them around to read them. Two Carers had been by the time I started this blog well into the afternoon.

I had already used Ccleaner twice and dared not use it again when a Memory-Shortage warning appeared on the screen. This depressed me more than it had before, and I gave up on the computer and made a meal. I took a terrible photo of it. Nice though!
I walked into the doorframe as I took the things to wash in the kitchen. Then, 2 I dropped the plastic plate, and it cracked.
Instant fatigue and brain fog came on as I sat down in the c1966, ÂŁ300 pound, second-hand charity-shop-bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige-coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner, to watch some TV. I felt sure I was going to drift off into a deep sleep. But, No! I sat there, unaware of anything I was doing, and going off into… I don’t know the word for this. I was going into deep thoughts of the past and imagining the future. It was weird, and I knew it was, but I went along with it, hoping that sleep would arrive. But Sweet Morpheus didn’t come, despite my seemingly feeling even more tired and in need of it.
After an hour or so, Carer Chris arrived. I did not move from the recliner for his visit, and I don’t know what we discussed.
I continued with the long-gone and future thoughts. Occasionally, while trying to watch TV, I had several quick nod-offs, but not many.
I assumed another hour had gone when Chris arrived for his last call, five hours later!
I recall him saying, “You’ve not moved out of this chair since my last visit, have you?” I agreed, asking him how he knew.
“Your legs are in the same position on the chair as when I left you!” I still have not moved from the recliner. He took off my socks as I lay there with my feet up on the chair.
After Chris departed, I thought I’d better get up and do something, despite having a sleepless five or six hours doing sod-all apart from having fears of the past and fantasies for the future… I then swiftly fell asleep. I woke up with a jump, thinking I’d only just nodded off, only to find it was 06:00 hrs in the morning. I made notes to remind myself of events and rose up to remove the catheter pouch. After that long stay in one position, Cartilage Chloe pained me like never before! Chloe gave way, and I collapsed to the floor.

0410hrs: I got up early because I couldn’t sleep. Well, I did, for , and even were taking turns in taking me up. So I got up. Grumblingly! But the last three days have taught me something. Well, a few things. ) 1) My eyes are not so bad in the morning but slowly worsen as the day develops. 2) I have to get up early to complete the ablutions, and I struggle with the evacuation. 3) To get my balance exercises done. 4) I seem to get most of the worrying s in the afternoons. And number 5) For the last two days, I’ve developed a new brand of episodes, especially today. Dennis used to affect me all over, including prompting … this version, affects only the top of my head, which is puzzling me. It came on at least a dozen times today, but they are always in the morning?  Was here when I had three of them! , one, she said I went white for a moment or two. They have not been lasting long, though. Haven’t come up with a name for them yet, but I will do.
Luckily, I got up early because I was not much use by the afternoon. I ended up getting into bed again, but no sooner had I nodded off I was woken up again as arrived. A nice lad. I finished the introductory graphics as soon as I finished doing the ablutions. I took some photos but not many; everything was taking too long with the eyes worsening. The were doing a good job. Naturally, joined in the pain-giving.
I’m waffling again…

Lovely light colour this morning.
Wet room duties.
I’ve misplaced the underarm ointment the doctor gave me.
The Hi-Pressure Compression padding is holding up well.
After tooth cleaning (I spent more time trying to find the few I have left than cleaning them, Haha!), washing & shaving. Could I find the alert wristbands and panic alarm I’d taken off an hour and a half earlier when I entered the wet room? No! Well, not until I gave up searching and saw that I’d hung them over the handle of
I did feel like a proper fool!

I got on the computer after taking the above snap… I can’t remember why I took it, or even taking it, but it was on the SD card when I got to putting them on the computer.

Carer Kara arrived and looked after me kindly and efficiently. She got one diabetic sock on my left leg, and the right leg did not need a sock, as it had Heavy Compression Bandaging.
Medications were given, and she said she’d be back later. ♥

My eyes worsened when Carer Kim ♥ arrived to do a domestic stint. She mopped the kitchen wet room and hoovered around for me.

I’d finished the top graphics, and Carer Kara returned to do the financial business. She is good at it. I had no idea what was going on as she checked the emails and letter from the bank. She’s like lighting, and with my eyes failing, I could not follow her. She told me nothing to worry about. Then she went to the bank site to check things on that. The same result, bless her.
She checked the catheter bag for me.

I made a small meal.

Belatedly, I sorted the waste bags

Then I had to stop on the computer. My eyes were bad, and a tiredness of almost viciousness forced me onto the bed. But sleep was denied yet again. The dressing gown was delivered.
As I was climbing into the bed, arrived. He issued the medications, and I let him pick some nibbles and drinkie of his choice. I put on the new lightweight dressing gown. I posed, asking Israel to take a photo of his overweight, bald, apparently one-legged, deaf, vision suffering, rotten teethed, Colin Cramp-Ridden, Vascular Dementia suffering, Cartilage pained, deaf, Reflux Rogered, Duodenal Donald Ulcered, Bleeding Haemorrhoided, Fungal Lesion Bleeding, coping with Cognitive Impairment Iris, client, with his Boil-on-bum, to take a photo. Which the lad did for me. I took a snap of him with his permission. A nice, friendly bloke.

Took a photo of the rain.

I got back on this blog, but not for long. There were mistake after error, and my eyes were not good.
Back to bed, I thought…
I stopped to take this shot of the night sky first.

How beautiful it was!

A much disturbed night of sleep. But little bother all the same. As soon as I got back from the hospital, I got undressed and left the clothing on the floor… so tired!
I attached the nocturnal bag to the day pouch, did the safety checks, and climbed into the much-awaited bed.
Between the occasional waking up from my , they were copable with, I just drifted back into the land of nod each time.
As I woke, I could sense the itching from my covered forehead. I could also see the flakes of skin all over the quilt. Tsk! I rose and nearly tripped over the clothes I’d left on the floor in my fatigue.
I then had to move the mass of skin from the bedding. I did all this while the nocturnal pouch on the long tube was being pulled about. I checked to see if anything was leaking. And what did I discover? The flipping night bag had nothing in it! Come think of it. I did wake up with the innards rumbling. I went into a Sherlock Holmesian mode and had a look. Had a tube come off, was one blocked, had blood from the fungal lesion blocked it? No. I’d not opened the tap!
So, off to the wet room to the Porcelain Throne to check things out pr
operly.
Great Balls of Fire! A comeback from being in total control. Despite my best efforts, everything seemed rock hard and would and could not be encouraged to move. Still, I had a go at a new crossword in the book. Not that I did well, because I didn’t. Spit!
I cleaned up, returned to the computer, and started updating yesterday’s blog, finishing it off. I got it done.

I started getting calls for parts of the day, up until around 1600 hrs, when Carer Chris arrived. The early callers were Carers Favour and Sam, I think.

Tee sun broke through the clouds, and very pretty they looked, too. Despite the blotches, I tried again to get one that would be blotch-free.
But the kettle started boiling, and this was my first brew of the day. I’m only allowed two mugs, so I concentrated on mashing the Glengettie. Then just stood there, watching the clouds, for ages, almost talking to them. Then I got Kodak Tim and tried again for a snap. They looked a little darker this time.
I took advantage of the lighting, thinking I may get a decent crisp photo of the housing on the street opposite. That’s the one with the suspected drug growers on it. It came out alright, but of course, the usual blotches were there. I try to ignore them now. Hehehe!

Here are the revelations of the differences quiz.

I blogged for a while, but the mind-blanks steadied up the progress and annoyed me. I’m waiting for an appointment at the hospital again for someone to check things out. I think it is a neuro-something or other doctor.
The sun suddenly took a dive for some reason.
I got Kodak and captured it.
Minutes later, the sun came out again? But I didn’t catch it as I had to try again to pass on the Porc failed.
No chance. How can it change so often and quickly? Beats me! Then again, lots of things do that… like crosswords, hopes, arithmetic, women, Putin, and Peripheral Neuropathy. Then there’s Cataract Katie and Glaucoma Gladys, Cartilages Chloe & Carol, and so many other things, such as life and humankind.
Do I sound depressed? Hehehe!

I made up a sachet of relief drink soda and took a Senna tablet. I’m determined to get some action going from the rear end! I also decided to have some of the vegetarian GC hatsausages with tonight’s meal.
That should encourage things to soften and get moving again.
We’ll see!
Fingers crossed.

I took this shot with Kodak Tim through the balcony windows.
The blotches were covered a little by the colour of the clouds, so it looked fine.
It took a while to cook the meal. I saved everything, and as I got ready to close down the computer, I decided to have a mandarin in an orange jelly pot!
I kept snapping away at the unique cloud formations that blended with the death throws of the sunshine.
My Pareidoliaising on these two snaps went on and on. Animal’s mouths, so many faces, feet, swordfish, islands in the sea, and blotches that I just could not see!
A ribbon of white on the horizon in this one on the left.
But also, the blotches can be seen easily. Shame!
I still liked this one.

There are veggie sausages, tomatoes, and potatoes. I would have some sugar snap peas to encourage the rear-end activities, but I left them on the stove. Say no more!
I washed the pots, and before climbing into the bed (it’s a high one), I spotted and took my last snap of the day through the balcony windows.

TTFNski, Each!

Cutbacks, sorry.
Still too dark, Hey-Ho!

I didn’t do a good job with my shot of the morning view. It looked right till I uploaded it. Tsk!

He started off last night.

I lost hours when this screen came up on the computer. I may have pressed something unintentionally, a combination? I’m always catching the Conrol, Windows or Alt button without sensing it. Not the foggiest what it was all about. I turned it off and rebooted; I could not type anything without all the text being highlighted? Anyone help me?
Still, it came back on, but CorelDraw would not let me select anything. I had a sob, spat a bit, swore and turned it off again for ten minutes.
Things seem to be working again???

The highlight of the day? I’ve just remembered I’m not to post photos of any Carers on here! So, I have removed it. So funny as well!

I got domestic help from Carer Kimberly. She cleaned the kitchen floor, then the wet room and floor, and, for her final task, hoovered the front room. Lovely!
As she was putting the speedmop away, I suggested I take a photo of her doing it, like they do in the TV adverts. She was all for it and joked about her going for a model job, acting for Flash.
I took two shots, and caught her action in whipping off the strip, just as on the TV. I loved having a laugh about it. I felt a part of things.

The Iceland order came. The only thing different or worth mentioning is they had no substitutes, and the bananas, a hand of five, only had one of them squashed and bruised. Very good! For them!

I spent hours and hours doing the blog again.
The ups & downs of life…
Like no longer having a wife,
Depressed and suffering strife,
I cut myself on the steak knife…
The computer is giving me grief,
My tender area was bleeding underneath,
Also bleeding were my gums and teeth,
Panicking, in need of relief…
My bad luck beggars belief!
My nose is running like a sieve!
Life seems emotionally expensive,
Sorry, I’m just being expressive!
Sorry, it was a smidge intensive!

Amazing sky again, well, the clouds.

How did you do?

Noshtime!
The photo I took of the stew had gone AWOL again from the SD card.

Well, there were still plenty of hassles, worries, and mistakes made. There were many visits and stings from . I have never had so many during the day before on a single day. I am greedy! Hehehe! The Doctor’s surgery gave me a tinkle. To make an appointment for them to give me painkilling injections in the knees, to counter & . I’ll see if I can remember to tell them about the latest ailment craze from . She made an appointment for 09:40hrs on Thursday, 18th April. Same day as I was to be going to the Diabetes Course in Bulwell. Can’t win ’em all… Humph, I can’t win any! Haha!
The replacement carpets ruined in the flood escapades arrived.
I cleaned the wet room again, another mess made by yours truly, Inchy. The hallway carpet had not dried yet, so I went into the wet room, taking black bits from the carpet onto the floor!
I decided to wash the bottoms of the slippers and dry them off well. Naturally, I got soapy water on the soft outers of the slipped and had to put them on the fairer to dry. Then, the need for the Throne arrived in a bit of a rush. I made more mess going in with my bare feet this time. Tried to use kitchen towels to clean it up, using my feet, but I couldn’t bend down far enough without suffering from the pain. And if I did get down, I’d probably not have been able to get up again! Then, trying to wash my feet, I got my plates of meat into the bowl alright, but at just the optimum time to cause me the worst degree of bother, as I was removing the dodgier right leg, prone to bursting into a wild dance of its own accord, I had a  , and tipped the bowl over! Thus had to clean the place up again for the third time! I took the bag of rubbish and put it in the waste chute. ; not realising how early it was in the day. (approx 05:00hrs) I’m going to get it in the neck now; from those people, I might have woken up. Tsk!
Finally, at long last, I set about having a shave (only one cut). I searched for the toothpaste. After a few minutes of failed investigation, I assumed it had dropped, and I’d taken it out in the waste bags. Arrgh! It was also the last of the prescription toothpaste.
I think at one time, I believed I was still asleep and dreaming. The showering was okay… just one clouting of my head on the power box today.
I got the medicationalisationing done. Amazing, I easily got the PPs on. No socks, of course, like a baby waiting for his nanny; the Carer will sort that out for me later
. I got on the computer. Carer Kimberly arrived. Socks on, medications, a mini-natter, and laughter were enjoyed.
There was a bit of mini-blank here. Hours later, the intercom rang out, and the first of the carpets arrived. Five minutes later, the second carpet (Well, rugs or mats, really).
arrived. We spent a few minutes setting the world to rights. She seemed to have a sore throat. I hope she is not getting the dreaded lurgy.
No idea why, but there must have been some logic in it somewhere; I made a J Sainsbury order for 14 days time. I think it may have been… no, no idea.
I called back later and returned the borrowed bag of ‘s. I was pleased to be in a position to help some other tenant out with the loan. It makes a change from flooding them out, and guilt returns!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Onwards to the photos.
The urine in the night bag looked much darker when I viewed it with my admittedly poor eyes.
The wet room farce was over. It looked good after three hours of mayhem and cleaning it up again… and again, and finally, once again this morning.
Damned good job I couldn’t sleep and got up early. Not that the poor devils living in the twelve-floors below, would appreciate it with me using the darned waste chute that early in the day. Guilt again!
This is the first picture of the view from the kitchenette that I took.
The amazing blue hue was back again. Bootiful!

I forgot to tell you, when I was cleaning the wet room, I used the new lavatory brush. Can I get it back in its hub? I still can’t.

The day pouch was filling up swiftly today. However, it was getting darker as the say went on. It usually does the opposite.
My first mug of Glengettie tea of the day. It really is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Shame I’m only allowed two cups a day. (Sob!)
The postman dropped my Anticoagulation results DVT, INR, and through the letter box. An increase in dosages. It’s a smidge low.
The most amazing cloud formation this evening.
Not unlike the news snippet above Mammatus clouds?
I see so many things in these three pictures.
I’ve put in this blog a little larger.
I hope that my fellow bloggers, Tim Price and Paul, and any reader, can see what I did in them. Who is a  Pareidolianist?
The second mug of Glengettie was enjoyed while I was blogging away merrily. The authenticity of the last bit is dubious.
Why the hell do I write so small? I know full well (at times) that my eyesight is crap, and I’ll not be able to read what I’ve written!

I got the smallest of the mats into the wet room. I decided this should be recorded for prosperity. Despite my shakes, I was determined to get a picture taken with the whole mat in it – I didn’t!

Carer Helen called, and medications were given.
After I offered them, she took about 40 of my DVDs with her, as I cannot see or hear them nowadays. She’ll collect the others later. Great, a clear out at last.

Better get the nosh prepared… it’s nearly midnight. A tastier effort tonight. Well, this morning.  (pork knuckle), Golonkowa, chips, a brown wholemeal baguette and a pot of naughty but so delicious lemon curd yoghourt.

I found it, but it took me 33 seconds.

Definitely worry about this colour!

An eerie, misty morning. I like it!

Ablutions and medicating tackled.

Gums bleeding after teeth cleaning.
Shaving, eight tiny nicks, no bother!
Showering: I deliberately took my time doing this. And I got through it without a single Accifauxpas or Whoopsiedangleplop. Smug-Mode Engaged!
Medicationalisationing: Harold’s Haemorrhoids were exceptionally tender. Little Inchy was bloodied, but nothing unusual in this. Olive oiled the earholes.
I applied eye sprays. Phorpain gelled both cartilages; I put plenty on and rubbed it in well.
Then, the big challenge… Getting the
Protection Pants on. A bit of a farce… However, I did eventually get them on, but a slight tearing of the pants was overcome by my ingenious (well?) plan to use the Catheter tape to hold them together.
I even walked out of the wet room without knocking into the door frame. Smug-Mode Mark2

I started this blog but haven’t gotten very far…
For then, the interruptions flowed.
The gentleman from Diabetes Support rang. He explained that they could not meet me face-to-face, but I could use the App. I asked what that was: On your
mobile phone! – My mobile phone does not have internet access! – What? – My mobile phone does not have internet access! Well, use your iPad! (I’m not sure if he said iPad or ePad) – What are they? I can use my computer, can’t I? – No, it is not set up for computers,  ask your doctor if she can arrange anything!
So, my hopes of getting any help with Diabetes 2 were over. I’ll have to find the time to search for advice on my computer. Felt a smidge low now.

Another try at blogging… The landline chimed and flashed; It was someone asking about the bed. Had the bar been fitted or not? – Yes! – Then someone will come out to you with a new mattress. – The one on the bed is new, I think? – That one was the wrong size! – Yes, they sent the wrong-sized bar as well. – That’s why I’m checking to see if the new bar has been fitted – Yes…
Can we come to fit the new mattress today? It’s no problem; I’m in all day. – Good!
I was a little perplexed, but I had to get back to starting this blog (I never did; you’ll gather that as I waffle on about my busy day).

Back to the blogging…

Carer Kara called; she only had 15 minutes, but she did an amazing job getting my socks on, checking the catheter bag, and putting my mind at rest about an email I’d had. Got the medications given and had to rush off. Thanks, Kara! ♥

Carer Christopher returned the laundry, and I put it away. Now, it’s well into the second half of the day!

Back to blogging…

I decided to make the second brew of the day; the first went cold again. I filled and sealed the waste bag.

Back to blogging…

The man with the mattress arrived. He was helpful; he had to remove the old mattress and put the new one on from the junk room (but they are all junk rooms).
Showed me how to use the lifter/lower control.

Back to blogging…

For about five minutes, it gave me time to put the first photos on in the wrong order and change them to where they should be…
I was sorting the wristbands out, and one of them snapped. I swore and bent down to retrieve it…
Clouting my forehead on the way down against the edge of the open drawer. Got up a little too quick, and paid me a visit. Naturally, this was of no bother to a man of my calibre and resistance to pain; I laughed the matter off. Ahem!

It was getting late, so I gave up on the blogging as the tiredness and fog descended.

I took this photo as I went to the kitchen to make some nosh. Carer Chris arrived, looking in a rush. Well, it was his last call before his going home time. Hehe!

The meal consisted of a four-bean stew with added mini sausages and baguettes. A lemon yoghourt, too!

I emptied the day bag and was ready to attach the nocturnal pouch. Getting so tired now!

Even I did – Easy-Peazy for once!
