My beloved Tree Copse: free of adversity,
I used to walk through it, daily,
Stopping to talk to a bush or tree…
Or a feral rat, a being-walked doggie,
Crows, insects, I once saw a garganey,
I loved these copse-walks initially,
But now I’m not up to it, even weekly,
I can see it from the flat’s balcony,
But it wrangles me intractably,
My health I consider detestationally,
I can’t even walk up the entrance pathway,
Cartilages, Arthur itis, Peripheral Neuropathy,
Glaucoma, Anne Gina, too much you see…
I adored getting out & about, naturally,
Maybe one day? I’m thinking miraculously…
But I won’t, I’ll never have the ability,
Bad enough being incapable physically,
Reality is harder to cope with mentally,
I wonder if the plant life & animals miss me?
Bird poo, that dropped on me seemed aimingly!
Those crows knew how to poo accurately,
Trips & tumbles, bites & stings for free,
I miss my daily walks so atrociously,
I can’t manage the uphill bit unaidedly,
The downhill bit would be just as risky,
This ode has brought on a feeling of inefficacy,
I still love my Tree Copse, albeit incongruously!

I had a slightly better kip last night. Still broken up, but at least I know why this time. The guilty ailment was chiefly . She was persistent with it. I think I may have had a few nocturnal seizures as well. So many wake-ups, but my response was different for some of them, and it took me a lot longer to get back to sleep after a few of them. There were none of the episodes and a few of the . Did you see that? I was being diagnostic, investigative, and problem-solving, on the verge of being semi-logical in my assessment of the night’s kipping difficulties?

I removed the night bag from the day bag, and bending down, I got a visit from … that was a bad one. In the late afternoon, while on the computer, he called again and was even more effective. I had a good few today.

I perked up a little, made a brew of Glengettie, and turned on the computer to finish Tuesday’s blog. It was a breeze! But it took me five hours due to basic errors a ten-year-old would be proud of.

It looked bleak outside, with a bit of drizzle.I did some hoovering and sorted the waste bins. Then, I felt guilty about the mess in the wet room that still needed to be cleaned, so I went to the wet room.
1

I only mixed up with the gear I just stacked up to make room to do the mopping! I landed on the pile of the shower chair, buckets, mops, bowls and towels, knocking them over and hitting the trolley and the cosmetics, gel, disinfectant, bleach, aftershave, toothbrush, scissors, and some medications. Now I’ve a bruised rib cage.
Miraculously, I didn’t go down to the floor and stayed on top of the rubbish. So, at least I didn’t have to crawl to the junk room on all fours to drag myself back onto my feet! Phew! Thanks lads! 🙏🏼

The Caregiver arrived, Ahram, I think. Or was it Joe? It was almost definitely one or the other. After I got the medications sorted and my socks on, the door chime rang out. It was the Asda delivery. While I was taking in the groceries, I had another of those danged dangerous Whoopsies!
2
My carer Ahram was assisting me to get the groceries in the door, and , gave way and I dropped the walking stick. I slid down with my back against the wall and plumped on a pack of six (approx. 5-inches high) mini-mineral spring water bottles onto my bum. With both knees doubled up, Arthur Itis and the Cartilages were agony!
For more than one reason. Both knees, the cartilages and as I found out later, the bleeding haemorrhoids where I landed on the water bottles!
Both chaps set about getting me up again. I thanked them for being there at the right time to rescue me, get me on my feet, and get me into the chair! Carer
Ahram set to putting the fodder away, so there were no photographs of the food, as there usually would be. When I recovered, I took a snap of the fridge, freezer, and the bladder-demanding water.

The fridge.
The freezer.
The waters.

I took another kitchen window shot.

The day’s original Beloved Copse shot.

To the left of the window and down a bit.
(Do you recall ‘The Golden Shot’?)

The time has flashed by with little getting done other than the blog.
The wetroom is still in a mess.
The Haemorrhoids have stopped bleeding at last.
I think I’ve gained some more bruising on the ribs and back. And for some reason, my top and bottom lips are now bleeding. Huh!

Will I ever again get a decent injury-free day?
Or a night with some unbroken sleep?

Silly questions to ask!

A ready-made beef in gravy with colcannon mashed potatoes. I added the last can of minced beef in gravy, carrots, and peas. Added some Marmite to the mixture and stirred it all up. Just four minutes in the microwave & it was ready-to-eat. It tasted superb! It was so good that I didn’t eat any of the bread.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Constipation, Anne Gyna & Seizures,
Two tumbles, Trouble w’ catheters,
Doreen Dementia, more Accifauxpas,
Arthur Itis, Peripheral Neuropathy,
Harold’s Haemorrhoids were oozing,
Glaucoma Gladys, things hard to see,
No time to start feeling lonely,
I was never truly alone today!

Oh, dark!

Ginormous bag with three emptied into it.

I have blogging duties. I needed some cartoons, and I spent three hours trimming them up and getting them ready to use on CorelDraw, which, dare I say this?
CorelDraw did not crash all day long!
There, now we’ll see if it continues… Dang. Dang, Sang, Dang!

A change in the meal stakes today.
I put a can of vegetable soup in the pan and added fresh onions, peppers, mushrooms, and peas. A packet of basil passata, and some Turkish beef, chopped up by my fair hands and mixed into the mix.
Later, I added a drop of tasty Polish Krakus beetroot Borscht and Winiary seasonings. I left it on a low light to marinate all the way through, then returned to the computer work.
Made a start on the blog at last.

The sun was taking its time getting through.

What a change to an hour earlier that was!

I was struggling with my concentration for hours and hours of making errors on the flog making.

This was a great cloud formation not to miss.
Can you see the faces in it?

I baked some potatoes and added them to the saucepan.
What a feast. Lipsmackingly Gorgeous!

Carers, as I recall, or don’t. Christopher, Joanne and Victor.

I was pleased to see the plane’s contrails showed up so well in this Kodak Tim snap of the sun on its way down.
I loved the E or Pound sign, Little Clouds. Can you see the chess rook just above the sun? The flying fish to the left of the £ sign? I am well pleased with this photo.
Oh, I’ve just spotted a spider on it, too!
I so love photos that are Pareidolianiable!

Well, something of a miracle happened overnight. Yes!
Although it was broken into pieces, I reckon got at least seven hours of sleep! Not been known for many a month.
Are things getting better for me?
What a stupid question!

Both men appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday (15 May 2024). Mossman was jailed for three and a half years and McKenna for three years. That poor man could have died! I’d have given them life on bread & water for nourishment. No visitors. In solitary, if they dirty the cell, it stays that way. A bucket between them for excrement use. No medical treatment. Just my view, of course.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It’s been another day of confusion, I’m afraid. It all started when I woke up around 05:00 hrs. The only way I can explain how I got out of bed is that I fell out of it! Well, no, I got out and watched the nocturnal catheter bag did not slip down and give Little Inchy’s Fungal lesion a painful tug. I put my right food on the ground, and as gave way,  then a series of  kicked off! A combination that guaranteed . As I thundered downwards, I hit my lip and nose on the table, I think. But, at least I was in the perfect place to haul my overweight body back up onto the bed. Finding a cut lip, bleeding nose, and Little Inchy bleeding from the tube during the kerfuffle. So, I got the Catheter emptied and decided to medicate things and do my ablutions. No outright winner twit Trotsky and Constipation Conrad, TT had an advantage over Love-15. Hehe!
After cleaning up, I medicated first. It took some effort to stop the bleeding on the lip, and the nose still trickled a smidgeon. Then, I tended to clean up Little Inchy, painful!
Washed myself all over, well, where I could reach. Barrier creamed the stomach and around Little Inchy. Then Germoloided the sore Haemorrhoids of Harold. Germolened the lip and set about shaving, being careful not to catch the cut on the lip with the razor, successfully. But did cut my earhole a bit. As I made up and took the waste bags to the doorway, I began to feel Dizzy Dennis coming on. He’d not bothered me for months now. It could have been brought on by the wake-up fall earlier, I suppose. Dizzy Dennis was in good form. I really thought I was going to go over it again, several times over the day. But Cartilages Chloe and Carole were good to me. A sudden bout of stomach-churning and rumbling sent me back to the . This time, it was  in full control.
The lip had started bleeding again, so I cleaned it and put some antiseptic disinfectant on the top lip. This is when I noticed the Red Eye was a lot worse today, or rather, the white part of the eye was no longer white.
Carer Christopher took this picture of it when he came later. He also sent me some pictures on his mobile phone and emailed them to me.
I think the lad took them from the balcony, but do not know when he did so.
The top one was taken from the first building, Winchester Court. Cause it shows the traffic island near the bus stop.
The other two were shot on different days; they were from the balcony, I think.
Jolly decent of him!
He knows I’m struggling with my camera with the blotches that so annoy me.

Back on the timeline. I took this as I booted up the computer to update yesterday’s blog. It didn’t take long for more hassle to heave into reality and jolly-well pickle me off.

WordPress was still loading differently than the chosen graphics, which I knew nothing about until the end when I did a preview! I suspect it was me that had done something wrong, but WordPress would not let me delete them!
I had to go back to CorelDraw and save it as a different name, then reload it into WordPress while the wrong picture was selected. I found out by trial & error.
As I said, it was likely my error! Then…
All the CorelDraw icons suddenly went to large ones again. I only had the middle strip available to see the page to work on.
Pissed off, I was called to the Throne a third time! Took me ages to clean up afterwards. I found that the lip had been bleeding again. This time, I cleaned it up and put some Germolene on it this time. That should do it.
When I got back to the computer, the icons were back to the minuscule ones. There is no option for a ‘medium size’, normal, or large only, and believe me, they are tiny or massive. With my eyes, it is difficult and time-consuming.
Then…   On MS Word to create the ode, I got baffled by all the Need to reset MS Word messages. More time was lost trying to understand what various terms meant on the options offered. I gave up, I had to click a ‘Remind Me Later’ button to get it to go off of the screen. They’ll be back. Grrr!

I got the meal thought over, planned, and partly prepared at a ridiculously early hour. I can’t remember when mid-afternoon, I think.
A can of minced beef, some Mediterranean chunky tomato sauce, a packet of black bean sauce, and a drop of Mushroom Ketchup went into the saucepan with a can of garden peas and got well stirred up. I even thought I might have some chips with it. It’s been there on the stove and stirred a few more for nine hours now.
This blog is taking so long because of all the time lost with the MS Word, CorelDraw, and WordPress farcicalness. That’s not the right word, but I’m getting fed up with moaning.

The blotches were covered by the colouration in this teatime shot of the wonderful sky with beautiful, eerie clouds, I was almost talking to them.
Well, well well, a record for this year to date, it was back to the Porcelain Throne yet again.
This time, it was almost a total reversal. Ruled by Trotsky Terence. So much so that I had a go at the crossword book while sitting there, wondering if the partly protruding concert and metal Torpedo was ever going to get any further on its escape plan! More blogging time is lost.
It is nearly midnight now. I’ll have to play catch-up in the morning and get the meal done and eaten. Since I don’t have chips, I’ll have a couple of baguettes to soak up the fodder.
Back in the morning. Well, I hope to be.

Now, I can’t get into comments on WordPress! Curse!
Now, the reader page is not working. Just showing everything, not what I want. Pissed-off!
What going on?
Can anyone please advise me?

Despite today’s frustrating, annoying, problem-filled day, the literal agony of the poor, tugged-away-at-by-the-catheter tube, gunge, and blood extruding poor Little Inchie, I enjoyed the meal of the day so much.
I soon got it all inside my wobbly, overweight tummy.
Got the pots washed.
And took this snap of the wonderful view on offer through the kitchenette window. Another slightly eerie-looking one.

How did you do?

Once I’d bounded out of the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966, moth-eaten, bedraggled, grotty, cringingly beige-coloured, much-dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner, and did some press-ups, opened the balcony window and sang out my joys of life to the local populace, Belting out “Oh What a Beautiful Morning”. Alright, I’ll start again!

04:50hrs: I reluctantly stirred from my slumber and measuredly mused over why I had bothered doing so
. My EQ warned me this would be another day of misalignments, misapprehending, misbegotten, miscegenated, miscellaneous, misdiagnoses, mithering, miscommunications, miscomprehensions, miserableness, misfortunes, misgaugings, mistaking, misgivings, moaning, mental-molestations, mind-manglings, social-mutations, much memory meandering, muddled-headedness, minacious, mendaciousness, along with the routine everyday Whoopsiedangleplops, Accifauxpas and muck-ups!
How right he was!

Things seemed to be going alright to start with. The nocturnal night pouch was a great colour, a good start! Then
off to the wet room. My ablutions were started with a visit to the Porcelain Throne. now in full total control again.
A painful, blood-inducing session; the Torpedo was extremely solid this morning. More of a kerplunk than a splash, maybe a thud!

I took these three shots on the right with Kodak Tim. Of the state of the burn scar over three hours or so. It’s improving all the time. The scab keeps getting looser, with the occasional bit more dropping off.
There is just one bit left attached. I bet that will be gone the next time I catch the hand. Even if I put it in my dressing gown pocket, that should be enough to tug it off. It’s very loose, but I’m resisting picking at it. Hehe!
.

in the wet room. Carer Kara later put a plaster on the nail for me and took this snap of it with Kodak Tim. Thanks!
After finishing the washing, shaving, cleaning the bleeding teeth, and carrying out the medicalisationing of the various parts of my body in need, I struggled to get into my fresh diapers… nappy… no, My secure Men’s Protection Pants. Hehehe!
I took this snap through the balcony doors of the morning’s sky view offerings. I recorded it on the notepad before starting my blog update. The rest is from photos and a very mixed memory, as this turned out to be another interruption-filled day; I’ll tell you why later. Well, I’ll start now while it’s fresh in my cerebrum. I got on the computer as Carer Christopher arrived. I’d just had time to realise that something was stopping me from typing anything in MS Word and this blog! My mind was concentrating on what the problem was, and of course, the unavoidable interruption did not help me concentrate on the multiple activities. Sad,I know! Chris issued the medication, scoffed and took some nibbles and drinks (which I insisted on). And off he shot, a busy lad today it seems. I recalled my working days with a touch of joy, sadness, and a sorrowfully harrowing recognition of my underachievement.
Back to the .
Which, apart from the odd photo break and with all the interruptions, took me up to  20:25hrs. And serious and niggling problems, that have still not been rectified. Anyway, I’ll try to get them in some sort of order chronologically. He say’s

After spending so many hours yesterday on it and not working out, today’s new problem was investigated with blind experimental hope, using Google for advice and throughout, I suffered a feeling of doom and gloom!

The keyboard was cleaned up, the batteries were renewed again, and the USB thingamajig was removed, cleaned, and returned. This did not help at all.
So once more, the mouse was checked over and rebatteried. I’ll have to get some more ordered soon!

Afternoon and evening shots were taken.

I’ve had easier days. I recall having such a one in 1969.

Oh… I nearly forgot to mention it, I can’t find my hearing aids or wind-up torch. Well, fancy that!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
05:10hrs: I woke up in the 966, £300 Oxfam charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, crumb-covered from my nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, positively unhealthy & dangerous, no longer operational, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, Catheter-tube-trapping, recliner.
And released the catheter nocturnal bag from the day bag pouch. Again, a decent colour of urine had been passed overnight.
As the signs from the innards indicated a change in mode to a Trotsky Terence one, I decided to make my way to the wet room without delay. A good job I did, too. The motion started as I lowered my bottom onto the plastic Porcelain Throne cover!
The spray was almost spitting-like, out all over the WC furniture and my bum and bottom. Took me ages to get it all cleaned up.
My plump, short legs were holding up the catheter bag pouch well today. Then, the bag suddenly split open down one side. Being a cunning, if pathetic DIYer, I repaired it with some of the Elastoplast and Elephant tape I had to hand and refitted it.
I topped up the Nurse’s and Carer’s nibble boxes and went on the computer for a while. I can’t say precisely how long the computing went on as another darned Mind-Blank took me over. It might have been Carer Marie; she kept coming into my mind, and her suspicious smile was in there somewhere. I found this photo in the morning of where I’d left the diabetic socks in view to remind me to ask for them to be put on. They were on my legs alright, now. Back with it, I decided to make up some bottles of spring water, adding a little cordial to a few bottles. Off to the kitchenette, I poddled!
&
After making the drinks, I decided that, as I had the funnels out, I’d make some spray with an antiseptic disinfectant that I used to sprinkle in the catheter urine jug and waste bins. I made the mix and poured it safely and freely into the sprayers.
One: As I turned away to take the filled bottles, I knocked the topless disinfectant bottle off the draining board. I made a barb for it and sprayed the liquid out of the spout. It landed on my dressing gown, which got soaked. Then I dropped the bottle on the floor, which swizzled around, distributing the rest of its contents over the kitchen floor. I did not burst into tears! I just cursed vigorously. But I did consider crying an option! I decided to take some shots from the window, as not many had been taken with all the seizures. I genuinely wish that I hadn’t bothered now.

TWO: Now, the photos themselves came out pretty decently. In fact, I was pleased with the results.
!
As I closed the window yet again, my sleeve caught the kitchen knife box, knocking it to the floor. A degree of spitting was used in conjunction with foul language, self-insulating, and loathing outbursts that lasted for a good while. What the hell Mary in the flat below must think of me?
Well, it doesn’t take much imagination. Sorry, Mary! ♥

I set about cleaning the kitchenette floor again.
I used the Speed Mop this time to save time and bending down to wring out the big mop.
Things are looking better now in the kitchen.
But not with WordPress and or the computer I’m using.

I am having all sorts of failures. I’ll whip on what I’ve got and try to post it. Sorry about this. Google has given up on me. I’m Trying Firefox now.

Fingers crossed!

Sorry for the missing regulars today. It was not a good day mentally, frustratingly, Whoopsiedangleplopwise, or medically.
In the midst of trying to sort out so many things that had gone wrong, I’d done incorrectly or failed. Several seizures visited me throughout the afternoon. These, I would have thought, would give me a break or rest of sorts. But, no. I was drained mentally and physically, earlier than ever in the day. I’ve got scribbled notes for the first few hours, so there is some gossip to tell. Hehe!
I imagine that last night’s tumbles played a part in the day’s struggles and tribulations today.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Jolly good colouring.

The burn scab had lost a few bits.

The ablutions seemed to go well, but of course no showering yet, too early in the day. The noise from the drain may bother my fellow oldies and cost them sleep.

Made up some waste bags for collection.
Carer Chris arrived. Guesstimation here. No, it was Caregiver Richard. His foot was still playing him up.

Made a brew of Glengettie tea and got the computer on. I was already well behind and about to get worse. This is when the ‘Out-of-its’ started off.

Notepad scribble consulted: Not that I could read much of it. Did I really write that small? I must be mad. A lot of it was illegible.
The fonts on the computer had changed on all MS programmes. The Helvetica font was now changed to Arial on all the MS sights… or even sites. Yet I could use it on CorelDraw? I lost hours searching for help with the problem. All seemed hopeful until I tried to follow the instructions, as with all four sites’ advice; the task got more complicated than it got me into dangerous ground of changing options, and what they suggested was not on the page they’d led me to. Afternoon, Carer Marie arrived and saw me, I carried on searching and trying things not too technical to solve the problem. I even uploaded different fonts Google said were very similar to Arial. Ha! Not on MS, they weren’t! They all changed as soon as I tried to use them. I’ve got hundreds of unwanted fonts now taking up valuable memory. Tried to delete them and found for various reasons, I was told if I delete this font, things will not appear the same on work done? Summat like that, repeatedly! I gave up altogether and did no more work on this blog until now, Tuesday AM, 07:00hrs.
I started to concentrate on CorelDraw, and it froze! I turned off the computer really early in the afternoon.

Frustrated!
But over time, I did get to take some photos of the sky & clouds from the kitchen window.
First two.
The blotches back on the camera lens.
I cleaned them, we’ll see on the next ones.
I can’t tell if the blotches were there or not.
Ah, yes, this time I saw them.
I’ll try cleaning the lens again.

Had an early meal.
Ham sandwiches and chips. I forgot about the tomatoes. Tsk! A pot of ketchup with pickles to dip the sandwiches in. Hehehe! Mandarins in an orange jelly dessert pot. Nice!

Carer Chris called for the last two visits.

I fell asleep in the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibbling, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly grotty, no longer working, dirty beige, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300 ten years ago from the charity shop, recliner.
But I was waking up every few minutes. There were no tonight at all.
Talk about broken sleep! It was instead of the ankle shocks, it was to blame. It was purgatory waking up so often, then chewing over the put-downs and mocking coming from within my poor brain.

Today, and were in harmony and became the main ailment aggressors for the day. For the second day. My mind was tormented like never before, and I thought Thursday was bad for concentration… today dwarfed the effects suffered yesterday. I was, well, still am, in another world almost.
At least I can bring myself to talk about it this morning. So, hopefully, the shoddiness of vagueness will ease a little bit today. But then again. If I can get through to next Thursday, I’ll remember to explain the out-of-it sensations I’m going through now.
That is, of course, if they ever end before I arrive at the Dementia meeting with the Doctor, I anticipate after the travelling (the lift has not been confirmed yet), so it may need bus and tram travelling to get each way, I’ll not be in a good state of mind or body, and forget everything I needed to remember to ask and inform of the medics.
A fantastically gigantically long Memory-Blank today, along with a few short ones. I can’t recall many carers’ visits, yet odd details and incidents are as clear as water. Most are foggy or absent altogether. I can’t recollect writing today’s ode, but reading it here baffled me a bit at first. Sorry again for the littleness of details.

Dark.

The blanks came on.
I came out of it with me having peeled, and I am now cutting up some potatoes to go in the oven later for the meal.
Then, I realised it needed doing now when I looked at my watch. So, I got them oiled and into the saucepan.
Served up and ate the off meal. I enjoyed it, I reckon, but not when I realised all the lost to-memory time.

At least the TV was working.

Talk about losing it. I made another meal!
I did enjoy this one.

Considered getting the quilt and pillows on the bed tonight. Of course, of the Porcelain Throne and forgot all about doing it.

Another blank.

Got this in. Sand bucket handle on the bottom, when as we all remember, it should be on the top

Well, it beat me; why was it so dark?

Emptied the . I ventured into the kitchen to get the kettle on for a brew of Glengettie tea… but I didn’t make one as I got carried away when I saw the moon was clearly visible and fetched , I tried to take some decent shots on it…
Oh, dearie, not only did catch me out, but as I tried again, burst into a lively few minutes worth of shaking!
It may not resemble the planet, but I think this turned out to be an unintended masterpiece? Haha!
I gave it one last chance, a distance shot.At least I got an identifiable one. But I was disappointed in not getting a close-up of it again.

Computer on. Within five minutes…
.

Went on CorelDraw graphic making.
Aha, the internet came back on its own accord!
.
Two minutes later.
So, I had a go at turning everything off and restarting.
Sure enough, within two minutes, it was back!

Five minutes later…
I gave up and tried to clean the oven up a bit.
It’s surprising how my bad eyes can easily miss bits of dried-on gumph when scrubbing away in the oven.

Oiled the ear-holes.

Tried the computer again. Signal back on. I was so pleased that for the next 15 minutes, there were none of the Oligarchal failures. Then, as the Carer arrived…
The wonderfully reliable, cheap, friendly people of s, did so again. Currently, failures stand at
I’ve not recorded many because I had no internet to record them on. Hello…

I sorted out the waste bags.
How bad this is!

Got some small potatoes on the crock-pot. I added a good splash of sea salt and a sprinkling of the gorgeous-tastingseasoning. Not unlike Worcestershire sauce, a little less intense, but the flavour lingers on the tongue more.

Gotten Himmel…
Mostly liquid!.

Back on the computer…
With the smoke & mirrors, number-crunching, fact-fiddling, giving me so much time to curse, spit and throw oaths and curses on them, it also gave me a chance to try to see why they are getting into, by investment or buying them out, so many, most if not all of the European internet suppliers. And yet, they are proving incapable of maintaining a service connection? And are they ruining the reputation of all suppliers? You see, I consider they are doing this on purpose. Their ulterior motive is still a puzzle to me. Not why they are doing this, that is plainly obvious; To Make Profit! Oddly, one of their other purchased companies, EE, along with BT (Liberty-Global now the biggest shareholder in them), Vodafone and ‘3’, had connections available at the top of the list this morning. (On the computer wifi-rota) after Virgin went for the fourth time? I clicked on the EE connection to see what’s available hourly, daily, or weekly for the appropriate rates. Further proof of the double-dealing, money-manipulating, by the esteemed Mike Fries, Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Liberty Global. Who took home a $64m salary plus bonuses in FY2, is behind the cunning plot to become financially focussed through blurring facts, figures, fallaciousness, fiendishness, foxy, and furtive by any means available to him! If they may read this blog for a laugh, note I have refrained from using fabricated, falsified, fictitious, flagitious, fibbed or flectional. Better let him know my dwindling bank balance is about what he earns in two minutes! Well, that’s for their lawyers if they decide to sue me, really)

s, as of 15:00hrs, stand at:

After has been, I’m going to tackle the biggest job of any day… Getting a wash and shave! There is no showering today, not with the bandaging on my right leg. Joanne took off the strapping and diabetic sock for me from the left leg. Bless her cotton socks! ♥

Here goes, ♬Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, it’s off to the wet room I go♬

It should be a quicker and safer task today. No need for me to get dressed afterwards… well, slippers, a quilt, and a dressing gown are all I shall adorn.

Also, with the right leg bandaging from the foot to above the knee, there shall be no showering.
It’s just a stand-up jobbie.
I was amazed when I found out it had taken me so long, but far less than when dressing and showering. The teeth and gums didn’t bleed… but that was likely because I forgot to clean them. Tsk! Shaving, just the one cut this time. It was only getting the PPs on that was any real bother. No falls or tumbles, mind you.

However, using the short picker-upperer, I caught the release valve on the Catheter bag, so I had to rewash the legs, carpet, and floor.

Got dressed & sorted. And got the computer on…

arrived. Issued the medications, and he was overjoyed at not having to do the task of  Hehe!

He took a photo of the red eye so I could email it to the Doctor to get out of Monday’s appointment. I just don’t like the idea of using four buses with the associated risks to get there & back. He took the laundry down for me and returned 6 minutes later with the bag. The laundry dryer was not working. Humph!

Am I lucky or what? The next occurrence will clarify that question for us all. I went to open another bottle of pink soda water to assist the bladder…
As I unscrewed the cap, a third of the contents sprayed out! Onto the computer keyboard, the leg bandaging, the recliner, the clean dressing down and my chest, face and hands, and the carpet, for many feet away!
I despair!

Now Firefox has gone down again!
I’ll try to get the pics on then to send it.

Crap Day Nowt, is unusual there!

WHAT ROTTEN DAY!
COMPUTER PROBLEMS GALORE – WC WATER TANK PROBLEMS PROBLEMS ALL-DAY- A TUMBLE AND
PAINS VIRTUALLY NONE STOP!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I lay there in the £300, second-hand, c1968, charity shop-bought, eyesore-horrendously grotty-grungy coloured, Harold Haemorrhoid-testing, easily-fallout-able-of, unfit-for-use, not working, recliner, in as much pain as I have ever been from my first thought being the fear of having to carry the three buckets of water I’ll need to refill the not-refilling W.C. tank; which is not going to please is it?

I grumphed, cursed, and reached for the packet of Ipobrufen on the ottoman, and took one with a swig of spring water, which I misaimed putting it back on the tray. acci-whoop Clunk-thud, I got a part shower of spring water and the cabinets, chair and wall as the bottle spun around!
In pain and annoyed, I thought, Sod-that! (Well, close to those words). And tried to get back to sleep.
But it was no good; the guilt of leaving the mess and knowing it’ll have to be done anyway forced me to get up. This was, as I found out later, at 05:00hrs.

Were giving me some real stick now. I begrudgingly cleaned up the mess. Then… the rumbling began from the innards, and off to the I limped.
were in total control. What a splattering mess! As if I didn’t have enough to do fetching the water to refill the damned tank again, as it was!

However, I kept calm… ,
Bending to clean the splatters of evacuated product made even angrier, and I’d not fetched the water yet. Three trips to the kitchen and three back carefully, slowly balancing the bucket against my chest, back to the wet room. Agony is not a strong enough word. To make things worse, I’d had to do this three more times before 12:00hrs. Just the on the last trip of the previous session. That cost me another hour to clean it up.
I was pleased when the carer arrived, and I got a Codeine down me with two paracetamols. I got the first mug of tea made; I put the vegan imitation meat in the oven and brushed Canadian Maple syrup on them.

Then took these snaps of the morning view of the once again blue sky. But no, more Computer Problems arose! I got on Corel-Draw to make up the cartoon and get the Health-Checks done and the graphic made above…

acci-whoop Grammarly was not working on Firefox!
I searched for a free-to-use spellchecker and installed it. But No, it went through okay, but I have no icons. For I.T.? Then I tried Google to see if it was on there – Nope. Grammarly not working there either. Getting miffed now.
I went back to try Firefox again. The computer froze; I could do nothing with it as this screen came up! Apparently, Firefox needed reinstalling with the original password –  They must be joking? Then I got a patch job offer and clicked on that. Which was seemingly getting on with the job when Norton came up asking me for the dreaded passwords. They are in a notebook, but some old ones as well – because the first ones I put in were not up to date, the frame with the little pictures you’ve got to identify which have whatever they ask for in the frame, cars, trees etc. Which sank my heart – I can’t even make them out using the magnifying glass!
When started to get as bad as , I had some really silly thoughts. I’d had enough!

Back to Google to try that again… are… nothing on there Grammarly. I tried to put the free one on again. Norton started again, but this time I found the right password for the vault. Seems to be working sporadically.

I was totally lost now, getting confused between which one I should be on and what I’d changed or done. The free processor was on the main page now, but when I clicked it, a new browser came up without any of my programme icons on it, and when I opened the now-closed by itself browser, the I.T. browser closed itself? You know, with anguish, fears and pain, I think of death as a release. Bet there are lots of folks like that. We should start a self-help group. NO! Better not, though, because it’s bound to be on the web, innit? No, forget I said that!

I’d been farting around with the computer and Water=-Closet water problems for about seven hours, and I’d got nothing else done. I haven’t even had a wash and shave yet. And it’s near time for the third Carer call!

I made a much-belated effort to get this blog updated. Being the conscientious, young, fit, mentally-alert person that I am. I had a few LOBS in the last hour, but I think and were getting easier.

acci-whoop Big-gobbed ! When I mentioned something getting better, I smelt the vegan imitation meat in the oven burning! Thank heavens I forgot to turn the heat up when I put them in! I ate a couple of them straight away. A little hard on what few teeth I have left, but I gave them a good sucking. Nice! I’ll be picking bits of Maple Syrup soaked soy out of my teeth for days! Haha!

Back to the computer, a quick prayer, and I got on with this blogging. But my good fortune didn’t last long at all. Humph!

I got up to check if I’d left the taps on, and to my shame and disgust, I had left the hot tap on! I got to this tap and turned it off, but I dropped the walking stick turning around, and unfortunately; ! Twisted my back, and of course, the fall and getting back on all fours to the front room to use the recliner to clamber up and get back on my feet really got too. And I regret, somehow, it kicked off the . had never stopped all day anyway in differing degrees. I was now in as much pain as I was this morning! The doom and gloom returned, but I didn’t get . I just felt pissed off, basically!

Better get something to eat with the rhino-leathered soy slices from the oven, then.
I decided to break the concrete into tiny pieces and put them in with a vegetable, with added mushrooms to the bowl. Baked a couple of rolls to dunk in the gravy/soup. It was horrendous! As I started to eat it the Carers called, not that this mattered in the slightest. Medicated me, and when they had departed, ~I forced myself to eat the entire bowl of teeth-breaking, tasteless gruel… although the veg, especially the mushrooms, were passable, the cobs were a delight. Flavour-Rating: 6.2/10. The teeth and gums bled, and bits of the burnt soy and whatever else was in it fell out of the holes and cavities for a while.

Blessedly, I put the pots into the kitchen sink bowl to soak and clambered into the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner... and

Zzz!

But, it took me that long to get the.
Monday blog updated (15:00hrs) & I
must rush cause I’m out tomorrow for
the Covid booster. TTFN.

Up at 03:30hrs: Worked on yesterday’s ode until 05:30hrs. Then off to the Porcelain Throne. Easier today! I set the alarm off by accident in the dressing stage, didn’t know I’d done it, but I thought I heard a voice in the flat. Had a look around and saw the alarm box flashing. Apologised.

Morning Views

Richard arrived, Yawningly – he was so tired. But, we managed a little natter and laugh, even a moan about things to each other. He was reluctant to take the freebies in thanks, but I sulked, and he took them. Hehe!

Was noisy again.

I literally got lost in everything I tried to do today.

Got a call from a woman. The only words I caught were Virgin Media?

I got some potatoes on with the black bean sauce; I hope it works out alright.

In the amber, nearly the green!

Grrreat!

PHOTOS?

CARE IS DUE SOON MUST GET SOME MOSH SORTED

Just getting the meal served up, and Kylie arrived.

She helped me prep the meal. Then got the medications given. Had a laugh and natter, which was nice. Took the bags with her as she left.

Back to the meal, for me.

I soon demolished it!
