03:40hrs: I bestirred, somewhat reluctantly, even though I had had a long but often interrupted total of six hours minimum asleep. The jerking awakes were frequent last night, although getting back to sleep was no bother.
I made the balance moves and went up to the kitchen. Where I put on the kettle, took this photo of the morning view, which came out a little better for me this morning.
Then made a Glengettie brew.

Sphygmomanometerisationing revealed that the Blood Pressure came out in the Hypertension Red-High One, again. So at least it’s gone down from yesterday.
I don’t know why, but I sense that it will tumble again soon. My IQ told me so as I was taking a drink of Glengettie.

The body temperature had gone down a smidgeon as well.

The Heartbeat/pulse was still high, mind you. At 94 bpm.

Burst forth, I assumed it was Carer Richard arriving to sort out the medications. But No!

It was the though. But not Richard. I thought the lad looked a little rough yesterday. I asked the young carer who arrived, is Richard poorly? He said Yes, I’m afraid so. Not good news. I said how sorry I was and what a decent chap Richard was but kept the spirits up for the new, although experienced Carer, with the name of Shekiel. He seemed a sociable type of lad, and we had a chinwag as he did the medications. Bade him farewell.

I decided to get the ablutions done rather late on today, mind you. I’ll have to rush in case the Phlebotomy Nurse Christina arrives early.
Took the clothes I was going to wear in the wet room with me and set to the job in hand. Nasal clearing, teeth-cleaning, and then shaving. Only one cut again today.
I’d forgotten to get the hook on the curtain back on. As I got my flobby-bellied lump in the shower, I pulled the curtains around to stop the water spraying all over, and another hook shot off! Tsk!

I must get them both back on today; it’s just that getting up on the stepladders to rebook them is a bit risky when I can’t see the holes or the steps on the ladder. It’ll be worse today, of the   in the right eye. That also has playing up today, and the left eye is definitely getting more attention from its own cataract. If I don’t get it done soon, I’ll be so handicapped.

However, the showering went very well after that. No head-butting the power box, no dizzies… Dried off and then got the sorted out without any ado, just in case Hristina arrived early. I don’t want any more embarrassment. Hehe!
Apart from the regulation agony of creaming , things went even smoother with the toes (Using the picker-upper) Germoloiding. Got the olive oil in the ears. I did spot a new bruise on the tummy bulge, but there was no hurt attached to it; no idea how I got it. Phorpained gelled the knees.

It’s still the ones that are the most bothersome at this moment…  soon changed that later.
I pressed on, got dressed, and took the clothes take off to the laundry bag.
Perfect Timing, the intercom flashed, and it was Hristina arriving at the flats. A bit of luck there, avoiding any of my bare flabby flesh being imposed on anyone. sounded, and in came the gorgeous nurse Hristina, with perfect timing.
As Hristina was taking the blood, she trod on the left foot’s ingrowing toenail. Apologising, she caught free-standing Metal Micky, knocking him over, and the handle landed straight on top of my right foot’s ingrowing toenail! The poor gal felt so guilty, but we still managed a laugh about it. She can do no wrong as far as I’m concerned! ♥
I walked to the door, slipping her a small bottle of Rose, “Oh, I love Rosso”, she said. Which so cheered me up to please her.

Then back on the computer again. I’d noticed a lack of noise coming from this morning? I do hope he’s alright, fit and well, and not laying injured in a crumpled heap, bleeding to death up there in his flat.

Look at the time. (Oh, you can’t see it can you?) It’s Gone 14:009hrs already! What happened? Did I have a mind blank?

I’ll get some updating done on the words file, ah! No, I’ll order a belt from Amazon first. All done. Back to the word list and Word Hippo.

Is kicking off again. Concentration shattered! At least she started much later in the day this time.

Shannon arrived. Got the medications sorted. She checked the food dates in the fridge; not much in there at the moment, but Shannon found three out of dates that had to be ditched. Chose a thank you treat, and off she went taking the black bag with her to the chute. ♥

Sleep was resistant again. No idea what time I nodded off, but was in the morning. I was so fatigued as well, but Sweet Morpheus wasn’t having it. Humph and !

Inchcock Today – Thursday 4th January 2018: Whoopsiedangleplops and Accifauxpas – Virgin Media goes down…

Thursday 4th January 2018

Swahili: Alhamisi 4 Januari 2018

0120hrs: Up and lively too. Hippy Hilda was not over-bad at all. Confusing, but cheering at the same time. Went for a wee-wee. 3Wed00b1 The wet room light still flashing, nictating, almost sparkling on and off permanently – I could not stay in there.

Got the laundry ready, a big bag this time, and went down and got it in the washer, took a couple of photographs outside the foyer door, and back up to the apartment.

04Thur01

Started the computer and got some nibbles ready for the Social Hour later. I must remember three things: Tell Obergruppenfureress Warden Deana about the circular flashing light tube, ask about Friday and if I can be absent for the heaters being blocked off, and something else I can’t recall?

Down to move the things from one machine to the other, and started another small load of washing going. I stayed down there while the second amount was washed, reading the English Words book. When finished I moved the damp wash into the dryer with the others.

Back to the flat and into the wet room.

ToUseThe Virgin internet had gone down! Again I might add! I tried all I knew to fix it, but with resulting failure. I got out the Virgin folder and found the help number and rang it. It was a recorded voice requiring many option button to be pressed. Hearing this voice was not easy, but the message was “All seems right at their end” Told try a to pressing the reset on their box. If that didn’t work, turn off and leave for four minutes and replug. Ring-back if you are still having difficulties!

So I tried this advice. Still no connection. I gave up and went for a heavy-duty session.

3Wed00b1The herky-jerky wet room light decided to go off completely! It would now not work at all. Alas, it went while I was making use of the Porcelain Throne. Sat there in complete darkness, half-way through the session, too! I stumbled about to find the toilet roll, 3Wed00b2knocking over the deodorant, bleach and disinfectant, then tripped against the floor cabinet and tumbled to the floor, clouting the top of my head against the other box. I think I said something to the tune of “Well, fancy that!” Then cleaned the mess and me up. Well annoyed and frustrated now! Tsk!

All this faffing and arfing about, I turned everything off. Back down to collect the clothes from the laundry room.

04Thur02I’d not noticed it earlier, but the state of the washer I’d not used was disgusting.

Had a while to wait for the dryer to finish, and did my best to clean out the gunk and dried solid soap powder from the input drawers.

The outer casing had soap powder, and liquid cleaner dripped all down the front. As you can see in the photograph, it didn’t come up very good despite my efforts. As for the floor beneath, even I could do nothing with that. The annoyances so far, the light, the Accifauxpa and Virgin internet going down had got me in dark mood. Other days this would not have bothered me.

04Thur05I got the togs out of the dryer. Cleaned the filter.

A bit larger load than usual, that took a bit of extra folding.

I’d emptied all the clothes out, and during the folding session, I found I’d got an odd sock again! Checked inside the dryer, nothing in there. This didn’t bother so much as it typically might have. But the last article I folded was the dressing gown, and the miscreant sock fell out from within it as I shook it ready to be wrapped. Hehe!

Up in the lift and home. Put away the washed washing. Started the computer and tried to get Virgin Internet on, once more, went through the turning the router off routine, no success. I wanted to spit! Also, I could feel the gentle rumblings in the stomach indicating that I may need another visit to the Porcelain Throne soon. This concerned me somewhat, risking going in the darkened or flashing like lighting, filled shower room again!

Around 0730hrs, the door chime tune (Dusty Springfields ‘I only wanna be with you!’) rang out. It was the Morrison’s delivery bloke. Not seen this one before. He kindly carried the bags into the kitchen for me and collected last weeks bags.

04Thur15The cream cakes I’d ordered for Joy’s (I think that’s her name) birthday arrived in excellent condition. I got some for Jenny and Frank and the Warden Obergruppenfurheresses as well, with some sourdough bread. I got the stuff into storage and the hand-outs in the bag ready with the nibbles.

I got the NHS Cardiac Patient questionnaire filled in and into the envelope. Six big pages of it.

Had a think about how I was going to get the ablutions done. No showering in the dark would be risked. So I had a stand-up strip wash at the sink with the door open. Did the teggies.

Then took the shaving tackle into the kitchen along with the Daktacort cream and pain gel. Had an uncomfortable shave, and treated Little Inchy who was bleeding still, but not much and applied the gel on the dodgy areas in need. Hippy Hilda, the knees and wrists.

The lump on the head from the fall was a bit tender.

04Thur03Cleaned up the kitchen and returned the stuff back to the wet room.

Then, belatedly got the morning medications and Health Checks sorted and done. Took the medicines with a warm drink for a change. A beautiful mug of the Extra Strong English Breakfast tea-bag. Nice!

04Thur11

Still annoyed at the loss of the Richard ‘Rich & Robbing’ Branson Virgin Internet, I tried once more to get it on. No luck – Globdangerations!

I assembled everything in the bag and checked them. Cream cakes, nibble box, DVDs for Mary, jars for the recycling bin, notes, the NHS form etc. to post on the way out.

Feeling a little down with all the problems suffered. But told me to appear happy with everyone at the meeting, cause they will all have difficulties of their own to cope with.

04Thur17I called in flat 38 on the sixth, no, the fifth floor, on the way down, to give Mary some cakes and the Seagal DVDs. Bless her!

Out into the drizzle and wind. Dropped off the jars in the bin. Doing well here remembering stuff. Haha!).

Got to the Obergruppenfurheresse Wardens and Social Hut. Well early I was as intended, so I could see Deana and get some help with the list of things I’d taken with me. Some tenants were in there waiting on the warm for the bus to arrive. Jenny seemed in good spirits and health and greeted me.

I got to see Deans and explained about the internet failure and asked if she knew of any reliable computer wizards, but she did not. Informed her of Friday’s cock-up with my arranging to go see Sister Jane for her birthday and finding out I’d forgotten about the radiators being isolated on that day. Deana said she would let them in for me. Phew! I added the wet room light. Deana said she would call them as long as I would be in. They will be here in no longer than four hours, and to let her know when I leave the Social so she can call them. I thanked her.

The meeting went very well. Joy got two rounds of Happy Birthday, presents and a cake with candles for her to blow out. All great stuff. When I got the raffle tickets, I handed them both to the Birthday Girl with her cream cakes. She said they were her favourites too! That cheered me up!

I found out from Jenny, that her Richard ‘Rich & Robbing’ Branson Virgin Internet was also down this morning as well! This also gave me hopes of it coming back on later.

BJ arrived, and we managed a little natter. Mostly me complaining about things going wrong, I’m afraid. I handed out the nibbles.

I left early, offering my farewells to all, and remembering to call at the office and tell Deana I was on my way back to the flat.

Got in and tried the internet again. To my greatest of joy, it came on at the third attempt! Hurrah!

Updating this post on Google Chrome, WordPress won’t work on Firefox it doesn’t save at all. And to my dismay, WordPress stopped saving on Chrome! I tried opening it in Firefox, and it was now saving on that, but not on Chrome? Totally confused I pressed on with crossed fingers and an in an irritated mood.

I’d taken two-and-half hours to catch up on this diary. No signs of the Nottingham City Homes workmen to replace the light in the wet-room yet?

The test results arrived. The next one for Tuesday 16th January, they left it for two weeks this time, cause the outcome at 2.4 was very close.

I went on email and requested an appointment for as early as possible with the surgery. Done that.

Now I’ll have get yesterdays blog finished. What a day. Up 12 hours plus and only just getting around to this! Accifauxpas, Whoopsiedangleplops, Internet, Chrome, Firefox failures and problems, no light in the wet room and I can’t do the ablutions! Grrr! Humph and Curse!

Well over four hours since I was told the light in the wet room should have been replaced. It’s dangerous using the Porcelain Throne in pitch darkness, and so messy having to wash in the cold kitchen and moving stuff around to do so. I hope they do arrive, even if I have to wait up till late. That’ll do me a lot of good, waiting up and they do not come!

Ah, well, I’ll try to get caught up on Facebook first. Thank you, Mr Richard ‘Rich & Robbing’ Branson of the ownership of the pathetic Virgin Internet! Boo!

I got the camera and left Facebooking when the Fire Brigade arrived.

04Thur20

04Thur21They were here for a good while. No alarms activating in the flats, but that is not unusual.

I’m pleased to see that they searched for and found the offending driver of the Mini, and got him to remove his car parked in the Emergency Vehicles Only chevroned area.

They apparently had a few words with him.

Moments later after they drove off, boy did the rain come down!

04Thur22

04Thur23But did this discourage the workers out there on the hoists and scaffolding?

Not a bit if it.

They pressed on drilling and banging and knocking as if there was no rain or heavy winds at all! Brave lads, who wanted to finish the job! Heros each! Must be on piecework?

Opened Facebook again, and the intercom rang out. It was the chap from Nottingham City Homes come to replace the light in the wet room.

Ang05And look at it now!

I’ll be able to apply my creams, corticoids, Enoxaparin injections and lotions much more accurately now.

Mind you, seeing my face in the mirror more clearly when shaving, might be a bit of a shock for me. Haha!

I is different to the old one, I hope that it will not cost more to run.

Back to Facebook.

Getting so tired out now. It’s been a long and stressful day for this Nottingham Pensioner. I’ll have to try and catch up with WordPress reading, time, health, computer and internet permitting tomorrow.

04Thur12xCarried out the Health Checks and took the medications.

Just too drained to do any ablutions.

Getting the nosh prepared now.

In the recliner, tray on knee, TV on, headphones on and nodded off.

Inchcock – Tuesday 23rd May 2017: Chrome problems persisting – Got out for a hobble to get the Prescriptions from Carrington Pharmacy

2Tue001a

Tuesday 23rd May 2017

Macedonian: Вторникот 23 мај 2017 година

Woke around 0545hrs, entangled half in and half out of the £300 second-hand recliner.

Tissues, pen, notepad, torch, medicine bottle, pain gel tube, headphones, remote controls, mobile phone and biscuit crumbs were artistically scattered over the chair, carpet, the other chair and over me! As I tried to clear my jargogled brain in an effort to recall how and why I had no legerity to tackle this problem… memories of a dream I’d had filtered into my mind memory. A rarity this. So I scribbled down some notes, although this time, actual memories remained as well!

I was acting in the film (Or thought I was really there) Rio Bravo, Dean Martin – the Dude, Sheriff Chance – John Wayne, Rick Nelson – The Colorado Kid, Ward Bond -Pat Wheeler the prisoner and me as Stumpy! This dream bore no relationship to the actual film other than this, and the background scenery of the gulch and barns. We were shooting Star Trek type Phasers at each other? This seemed all perfectly natural to me. After running around trying to get a better position with a handful of dynamite from somewhere, I realised they were all firing at me! No idea how, but I avoided all the phasing blasts and a Messerschmidt bf 109 dived out of the sky and strafed me.

Next thing I’m in a coffin being lowered into a grave in the ravine, and peeping out through the holes between the bare wooden planks on top of it… Still calm and collected, Dean Martin slurred “Who the hell was he?” John Wayne turned spat on the floor and replied: “Damned if I know!”

Then I was in a long queue of folks waiting to go in the old Imperial C2Tue04inema on Wilford Road in Nottingham, around 1950 and looking down at myself as an ankle-snapper in the line of bodies and remember thinking as  stared at my younger self: “I don’t know who it is either!” Hehehe! There were many more things that took place, but I cannot recall them.

This is the only photograph I could find on the web of the Imperials as was. It was I assume taken around 1960, long after the place had closed down and was being used as a Plumbers Merchant base?

Throughout all of this dream, I was so relaxed and content?

Off to the Porcelain Throne. Haemorrhoid Harold bleeding profusely, did my duty, cleaned things up and put a pair of protection pants on, it was that bad.

The stomach was grinding away still.

Did the Health Checks and took the morning medications and put the kettle on. The reading were all okay I think. Sys 147, Dia 77, Pulse 86, Temp 34.8, Weight 14.71 Down a bit after going up yesterday. And I had two meals as well?

Got the Google Chrome opened, email became Unresponsive within seconds. Updated yesterday’s diary and started this one off. Tried to open the instructions from Tech Man Sam and it froze for the fifth time since opening it! Humph!

Duodenal Donald was giving me some pain again. I must get out today to the chemist’s to see if the prescriptions are ready yet.

I decided to get the ablutions done now and get out to do this while I thought of it.

Had a good shower, shave (lost a bit more blood with this activity, Huh!) and other things and got the nibbles for the chemist staff into the bag. I’ll call in at the doctors first to find out if the prescriptions will be ready or not.

2Tue05Set off down Chestnut Walk towards the turn off for Winchester Street Hill.

Plenty of vehicles around, but on people at the time was passing.

The Chestnut Tree’s flowers drew me towards them with their beauty.

I got underneath the tree and took a 2Tue06photographicalisation of them from below.

Best I could get was the one on the left. Absolutely stunning flowers I thought.

With a bit of a lift in my limp now, I pressed on and down the hill into Sherwood.

Left up the Mansfield Road hill and by the Funeral Parlour (Where my funeral is all paid for) and the flower shop. They had some giant single sunflowers on sale and took what I thought was a decent picture of them. When it came to downloading it to the computer – it was not there? I’ve this before and still can’t work out what I’ve done wrong? Humph!

Over the hill and down into Carrington and into the Sheringham Park Surgery. Explained about my getting short of the Omeprazole capsules and asked if the next load of prescriptions was ready yet. She consulted her computer and said no, but if I come back in tomorrow they could be collected and taken to the chemist. I said thank you with what must have been a terribly dejected and sorry expression, cause she called me back and told me to take a seat and she’d see if the Doctor would validate the process. A few minutes later, she came out and gave me the prescription to take to the chemist. Kind of her saving me another hobble tomorrow.

Off to the pharmacy and was told there would be a long wait, or I could come back tomorrow to collect them. I told him I was going to do some shopping at Lidl and would return afterwards (Assuming I remembered to. Hehe!)

As I left to limped to the shop, I noticed BJ was in the launderette next door. He didn’t look too happy when I sneaked in and behind and threw him a cheery “Good Morning!” I hope he is not poorly. Aske me if I still wanted to got the War Memorial on Sunday, thanked him and said yes. Got the feeling, that was not the answer he was looking for?

2Tue09To the shop and spent over £12 on food? Mature Stilton, Jersey potatoes, tomatoes, tins of stuffed peppers, Lemon yoghourts, bread rolls with cheese, Smoked Haddock filled fishcakes and risotto mushroom rice.

Paid up and back to the chemist to collect the Prescriptions.

So much fodder along with the prescriptions 2Tue09ameant I had to break the stuff into two bags.

Rather heavy, and I struggled to carry them to the bus stop, where the Pensioners Free Bus Pass was greatly appreciated I can inform you all.

Met tenant Frank there, little natter.

No one else at the shelter, but by the time a bus arrived there were several other passengers – who between them forced their way onto the bus before I could, and I ended up sitting on the only seat available, one of the side-saddle ones. Arthur Itis was not happy with this, and soon let me know.

Off Sherwood

Met and accompanied tenant Frank’s better half at the bus stop. Nice chat and laugh on the way back to the flats.

2Tue10Put away shopping and medications and took the midday doses.

Got the Computer on – Unresponsive again a few times, well too many times, so much so I gave up with Google and got the dinner on the cook.

Maple Belly Pork slices into the oven, potatoes in a saucepan (Added some extra Maple Syrup). When they were cooking I got the tomatoes, beetroot, sliced an apple, mini pork and cheese pie and the cheesy cob onto the tray ready.

Tried to updated this diary, but Chrome problems decided me to do this in the morning, turned off the computer.

Got the no2Tue11sh served up with a small pot of lemon yoghourt.

An excellent tasty meal this one! Rated this at 9.45/10, despite nearly losing a tooth as I struggled with the tough skin o the belly pork. Lovely!

Did the last Health Checks took the evening medications and perused the TV magazine. Some good stuff on tonight that I fancied watching, but I was fully aware that I wasn’t going to see much of them and fall asleep. Hehehe!

Which I did swiftly. The mobile phone rang out, of course, I knew it was close cause I could hear it as I disentangled myself from the £00 second-hand recliner, but could I locate where it was? No! It stopped ringing. I was at a loss as to where it must be, went into the hallway to check the jacket pocket, and the landline telephone rang. It was Sister Jane. Back into the front room and spotted the mobile on the floor near the chair as I got to the landline. We had a chinwag for a while and I lost the signal. Jane rang back on the mobile, she was in her garden in the sunshine. I knew she was alright, cause she ordered me to eat pasta in my diet and told me off for buying tinned meat filled peppers in tomato sauce, also gave me a lecture on slimming and losing weight. Hahaha! (Only joking!)

Accifauxpa! Did the washing up, opting today, to stab my left-hand finger with the little steak knife, right down the nail again. Not deep, though.

There were three episodes of Law & Order on consecutively on channel 21. Full of hope of watching at least one of them before nodding off, I settled with a bottle of spring water, a chocolate bar (Topic) and Duodenal Donald twinging away. Every time an advert came on I nodded off, then it got worse, I kept slipping off while watching the programme. Not the foggiest idea now of what I was looking at. Just had a stubborn determination to keep on trying to watch it. Tsk! Eventually, I drifted off and into the land of nod properly.

Woke much later, around 0200hrs in desperate need of Porcelain Throne activity! Duodenal Donald was rampant and very annoying with his persistence and degree of botherationalisationing! Due to this, getting back to sleep was not easy.

Hey-ho! TTFN

Inchcock – Sunday 21st May 2017: Stuck indoors again!

7Sun001

Sunday 21st May 2017

Lao: ວັນອາທິດ 21 ພຶດສະພາ 2017

Woke with a start around 0240hrs. Got the pencil and scribbled notes about the dream I had been having. Had a bad headache Rare for me, and Duodenal Donald was giving me much grief, very bad. Worrying over the computer the cause, perhaps?

Got out of the £300 second-hand recliner and took a Codeine Phosphate and an Omeprazole capsule then had a wee-wee. Noticed I was getting low on stocks of medications and thought it must be time to fetch the next prescriptions?

Back in the rickety recliner and read the notes about the dreams. Similar to one the night before. Nighttime, on a train with other people I knew, but could not put a name to? We were making plans to carry out something involving secrecy… finance and shredding tiddlywinks? We kept getting visitors to the carriage and interviewing them for some reason… The train crashed and none of us in the carriage were hurt… We ended up searching the bodies and wounded for tiddlywink markers, and giving the wounded an Extra Strong Mint each? Lots more took place I felt, but I couldn’t recall any more details.

Settled back and amazingly I dropped off to sleep again, until 0630hrs. Up and to the Porcelain Throne, Haemorrhoid Harold bleeding badly, but Anne Gyna, Arthur Itis and Reflux Roger were okay and no signs of any bother from Diahorrea Derek. Looking good, but I could not fully appreciate this as I was still fretting over the Goggle Chrome problems.

7Sun01aLooked nice outside when I went to make a mug of tea.

Did the Health checks, the weight had gone back down a bit from yesterday.

Got the internet on and tried out the email to see if any ongoing problems still.

After half an hour, Google Chrome had not gone unresponsive – but it took a while to start yesterday and never stopped all day, so I’m not getting any hopes up yet.

Finished off the Saturday Diary, back to the Porcelain Throne, not problems. Notice some mail had been delivered. Two letters. One from The Pensions Service, who had put the wrong Postcode on the address when I moved here in July 2016, and I had to contact them three times over two months to get them to change the Postcode so I could use the form for my ID with the bank. Telling me that I had ‘A Change in my Account Details’. No rush!

7Sun01The other from the Cancer Screening Programme telling me no further action required.

Sorted next weeks medication pots out.

The stomach keeps on rumbling and stinging a bit again. Might just be Duodenal Donald offering me a variety in his attack? Hehe!

6Sat12aHello… the damned going unresponsive Google Chrome has started again!

Selected Wait option, a few minutes later it came back on.

We’ll see.

Well, would you believe it?

7Sun02aI think you might. Bloody Virgin Media Internet has gone down now!!!

Sunday again, it always goes down on a Sunday!

Luckily by the time I’d done the graphic on the left, it was back on.

Getting the picture onto WordPress, and guess what happened this time?

Yes, Google Chrome went into Unresponsive 6Sat12aMode yet again, when I opened Gmail!

How Microsoft, Google and Virgin can get away with not showing any help, shame, ignominy, or self-denunciation with their obvious con-job of pretending their services work correctly, is enough to shame Tony Blair and Stalin!

They are all first-rate con-merchants, crooks, swindlers, bilkers, cheaters, deceivers, fleecers, 2017-05-21 08.04.19flimflammers, fraudsters, sharks, philargyrists, ingordigious, acquisitive, venal, money-grubbing, rapacious, and quomodocunquising!

They ruin people’s lives financially, emotionally and cruelly with offering hopes within their lies of perfection, and charge the earth for a service of the greatest uncaring, unconcerned nature!

2017-05-21 07.53.17Hitler and Stalin would have closed them down and Tony Blair would have bought them out!

Now, I just may sound a little bit pee’d off with Google Chrome, Microsoft, PC World, not being able to get on Facebook’s TFZ page and my own failure to get the computer sorted out?

This is because I am pee’d off with Google Chrome, Microsoft, PC World, not being able to 1Mon001get on Facebook’s TFZ page and my own failure to get the computer sorted out? It had to be said! Grumph!

Plan to have mixed mushrooms with a lamb hotpot for fodder today, with some potato farls, before they go out of date too far, and because I have no bread in stock, due to having to stay in just in case the Computer Tech Man Sam calls.

7Sun02bDecided to turn off and read the Emotions book for while.

After I’d taken a peep at the TV magazine and chosen some good programmes to watch later.

Fed-up with struggling on the computer.

And Arthur Itis, although being kind to my knees and ankles, decided to have ago at the hands and fingers. At least he moves around a bit. Hehe!

6Sat14Got the meal prepared and consumed. Lamb hotpot with some extra gravy. Nice!

Soon fell sleep and woke a few hours later.

Tried to watch the Gogglebox with some success this time, managed a good two hours before nodding off.

Woke around 0020hrs, stomach rumbling badly, but nothing on the Throne but the wind?

Back to the £300 second-hand recliner, took an extra painkiller and got off without much bother again.

Inchcock – Saturday 20th May 2017

6Sat01

Saturday 20th May 2017

Javanese: Tanggal 20 Mei 2017

0345hrs: Woke remembering just one singular bit of a dream sequence I’d had clearlyish. (Not a real word this, but I like it. Hehe!) There I was floating in the air looking down above the MP’s in the Commons, as I glided above, and by each one, I made a note of their crimes and dishonest actions that floated up to me from each individual brain, by talking into an old mechanical calculator that I assume I thought was a recorder? No other memories whatsoever, though?

Out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off to the Porcelain Throne. Amazed, that Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald were both absent this morning. Not complaining at all, though!).

Got the mug of tea made, and got the computer on, full of hope and prayers that the Google Chrome issues had been sorted. Opened Google and things looked good, no freezing or becoming unresponsive at all yet?

0415hrs: WordPress dairy updating was done for yesterday, then I started on this one.

0615hrs: Remembered to take the morning medications and did the Health Checks.

Sys: 148 Dia: 82 Pulse: 77 Temp: 36.1 Weight: 14.82. The weight had shot up steeply from yesterday morning. I imagine this was because I couldn’t get out for a hobble combined with the bigger than of late meal yesterday, are the reasons?

Got the Diary for Friday posted on WordPress and emailed to a few friends.

Excited at the thought of being hassle free with Chrome, I went to the email to send things and… “Google Chrome has become Unresponsive”!!! Boy, am I annoyed! Clicked on Wait for Programme to respond option. Five minutes later, it came back and worked.

6Sat02

I tried going on Facebook. Oh, dear! Time after time it froze, no way I can concentrate like this.

I’ll just get the photo’s on Facebook and tell folk about the hassle and wait for Sam to come again and try to sort me out. Double Humph!

6Sat04

6Sat05So very depressed now. Gave up on the computer, made and ate a massive meal and fell asleep.

Dreampt of me being with someone on an old train as passengers, no idea who it was. We were trying to find out where we were, outside night, foggy dark, kept jumping off the train and back on… that’s all I can recall.

Woke five hours later, made a cuppa, took the med’s and tried Chrome again.

Within a minute of opening Gmail, it became unresponsive again! Waited until it came back on and emailed Sam again to let him know if it suits him, I’ll be in all day tomorrow.

6Sat06 So then tried WordPress and this went funny too and stopped me using it until I closed it, lost the updated script and restarted it again to write this.

Perpetually (If that’s the right word?) suffering from Unresponsive sites and frustrations.

The innards started rumbling, and stabbing pains started. Fretting and worrying I suppose?

6Sat07Bother was coming from all sides now, not just Facebook and Email sites.

Tried to use the Outlook email, but it wanted so many details to let join it, and they demanded my phone number so as to send me a number to use to gain access.

Sent it to me through a text on the mobile.

6Sat09Which I’d never used before, and got into a pickle and a half trying to sort it.

Naturally, I couldn’t!

Demanded more code numbers, but I’m afraid I could not cope with the tiny press button things and got into rather a panic and thought, Sod It!

Gave up trying.

6Sat08Concentration destroyed by all this worry and failure to solve the issues.

The stomach is getting bad now, and I feel Duodenal Donald getting ready to make life hell for me, I know the signs.

Got a message from a very witty clever satirical artistic chap, someone I follow on the WordPress. Saying they too have similar problems with 6Sat07aGoogle Chrome sometimes.

He suggested that I clear the history out, private cache and Cookies, taking care not to clear passwords, etc.

I tried this. Brave ain’t I Hehe!

Got the History cleared okay, but did not know what a Private cache was, or where the cookies were being stored or held.

6Sat10Now I’ll see if this changes anything freezing wise?

Within seconds of opening Gmail, it came up Not Responding, yet again.

Clicked the ‘Wait’ option and it came on working again in a few minutes.

Actually very trying and testing having to go through all of this when just wanting to… Oh, never mind.

Buffalo suggested some more actions and told me how to get to the cache. Bravely I tried, but it made no difference to the freezing problem. Humph!

Getting cheesed off with failure.

Did the third and last of the health checks for today. I wasn’t surprised in the least to see things getting worse as the day went on.

6Sat10a

Tried to watch some TV, but could not keep awake for long despite Duodenal Donald’s efforts to stop with.
