Early Hours – Up Late Again
Making the late… or early morning meal, I dropped a saucepan on the kitchen floor. It took me ages to clean up the mess that I made. Accompanied by a few select curse words and name-calling to myself.
Cor, the urine bag had filled up sharpish again; It’s been doing that the day or so now.
I got my cooking hat on. Hehehe! Taking care of not having another ‘dropsies’, I added some potatoes to the veg mix, come stew. Added a jar of chunky tomato-vegetable sauce, some peas, and butter beans to the pan. Putting the last of the roast mini potatoes in as well. Stirring and tasting all the time.

Grrreat!
By gum, I enjoyed that!
Washed the pots.
I retired to the £300 second-hand shop bought in 1966. moth-eaten, bedraggled, grotty, cringingly-beige-coloured, much-dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner… get my head down.
That was another farce. He was in good form. He really peed me off!
I got about three hours kip but woke up needing to use the Porcelain Throne.
Two extremes at the same time?
As I removed the night pouch, the urine was dark enough to concern me.
My first view shot of the day.
By the time I’d taken it, the day pouch was pretty filled again, so quickly? But a slightly better colour.
Took a second snap.
Arrived. We had a chat and laughed as the medications and jokes were shared. I took her BP before she left, and it’s all looking good!
I must try to get more slippers… maybe a few pairs if I can find some on sale at a reasonable price. Cause as sure as the Rishi’s Tories are condemned to lose the next election, go into near extinction, as they wait for the Labour masqueraders to financially cripple the nation, Legalise grass, and Nationalise the railways; I’m bound to have another escapade of fluid from the

a week this month. Tumbles, faulty valves and walking into a door frame were the last three main reasons.
The next pouch emptying session, and there were so many today, was it back to dark again?
A sticky, gooey edge! Hahaha!
One of my worst ones ever.
I read on my notes that the Carer called, yet I have no recollection of the call or who it was either?
As I regained a degree of logicalness and awareness, I saw that I’d been working on CorelDraw and this blog. I found many errors in both, but I must have missed many more.
Over the next hours or so, the day pouch was emptied so many times that it seems I took photos of each one; they were on the SD card in this order;
They started (apparently) a good colour but grew grimmer at emptying time.
Fed up with this!
The clouds could be seen in the dark. The high winds maintained a presence for some time. Aircraft had been grounded – I’m not surprised at the speed at which the clouds were being driven across the night sky. It’s a wonder that they didn’t leave a contrail. Hehe!
Came & went for the rest of the night. Sort of mini-blanks.
I can easily recall taking this
shot.
I think my cyber-mate, Tim, would call this photo artistic, that’s not the word, but I can’t recall it now. Ten seconds ago, it was all in my mind, ready to type it, and it went AWOL. I can only pass on any praise to

Just Bootiful! Thanks, Jane & Pete!
Another Mystery?
CK was unwilling to come forth, then, as he did, TT controlled the watery, almost splashing out into the Porcelain, stinky finale.
The last leftover vegetable stew was doctored with more borlotti beans and chunky vegetables.

Have a Magnificent Martian Meeting on Monday!
In May 1959, Mandell Meggendorfer, predicted Monday’s date as the day the aliens will arrive, and openly reveal all to the earths masses. It’s too late to bet now, but apparently, one German bookie was offering odds of 1 million to 1 that this would happen.
Just thought I’d mention it!
TTFN.

Not much in the pouch. But then, I’d been up until 03:00hrs catching up on the blog.
I got the bags in the kitchen, and we carried them with the medications. Marie checked the new dates for me in the bags. Checked the taps and cooker for me too.
Fresh & frozen chips.
Freezer filled, Marie helped me get the cobs in ♥.
Cleaning products.
Treats for the Carers, Nursed.
Sauces Galore!
A great range of sauces.
Topped up the treats shelves.
Blimey, pouch filled quickly again.
Slightly overcooked? Hahaha!
Admittedly, they were well burnt around the edges… but then again, so am I! Hehe!
I still enjoyed it!
Cor filled up again!

A biggun, too! Gannet!.

Nocturnal urine was a bit lighter.
Started by sorting the waste bags into one.
The plan was to get a shower & shave, so I left off the leg and ankle straps when Carer Richard arrived. When I asked him not to put them on, I asked if he could please ring my landline, as I’d not had any calls coming in and was worried that Liberty-Global may have gone off again. I gave him the wrong number and cheered him up. He verbally suggested that I was a nuisance – he was right. I found the correct number, and he rang again; the first one I gave him was for the Audio Clinic. Tsk! The landline rang. Thus, it made me feel much better that no one had rung me for four days. Humph! Sulk! Hehe!
I am off to the wet room for the only visit up till now of this very wet, rainy Thursday.
Hey-Ho!
I took a half-decent shot to the moon as I made a brew of Glengettie…

Later, I spotted a chap from the flats on his disability scooter going up the gravel path to the park. He was driving along like Stirling Moss. The legal limit for these is 8 mph, but he was rattling away at well over that speed and uphill. If I get one, I’ll ask him where he got this one from.
.
.
Not good this one…
Not good, but better than the first?
Ah, well!
I didn’t, and not much wiser now that I’ve seen the rings on this explanation, what’s different about the yellow glove? Ah, I’ve gorrit now!
Bread at last!
The tomato sauce I ordered turned out to be something else. It warned on the label that it was an extra pungent chilli sauce. I’ll give that away!
The Danish loaf (substituted for Milk Roll bread) was eaten later with the evening meal.
I put some honeyed parsnips in the oven. And a can of curried beans, with tomato & basil sauce, and a suitable splashing of the Beetroot Borscht into the pan.
Adding some gammon slices cut up.

Oh, dearie, not only did
It may not resemble the planet, but I think this turned out to be an unintended masterpiece? Haha!
At least I got an identifiable one. But I was disappointed in not getting a close-up of it again.

It’s surprising how my bad eyes can easily miss bits of dried-on gumph when scrubbing away in the oven.
I’ve not recorded many because I had no internet to record them on. Hello…
I sorted out the waste bags.
Got some small potatoes on the crock-pot. I added a good splash of sea salt and a sprinkling of the gorgeous-tasting
seasoning. Not unlike Worcestershire sauce, a little less intense, but the flavour lingers on the tongue more.
Mostly liquid!.

It should be a quicker and safer task today. No need for me to get dressed afterwards… well, slippers, a quilt, and a dressing gown are all I shall adorn.

As I unscrewed the cap, a third of the contents sprayed out! Onto the computer keyboard, the leg bandaging, the recliner, the clean dressing down and my chest, face and hands, and the carpet, for many feet away!

few minutes! The hot water went cold again – I think the maintenance was working on the system, as a lot of noise could be heard throughout the day from above, which stopped around 16:00hrs.
Phone calls from the Anticoagulation DVT Unit, the Doctors Surgery, with the results of INR Warfarin Test at the Hospital yesterday; and a change in Warfarin dosage. Also reminded me that I had not booked in for a flu jab yet! Which I attached to the Carers book cover.
The most welcome call from Nurse Hristina, from the DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) Anticoagulation unit at the Queens Medical Centre, and pictures of her face as she told me she would be calling on Monday or Tuesday next week to take more blood samples. Gawd she’s such a caring beauty! ♥. Damn, my being born too late! Hahaha!
of the Daktacort ointment… as I am of Germoloids and Olive Oil for the ear-holes! Things were not going very well! Of course, being the confident, Glass-Half-Full, cheerful nature that I am, this didn’t bother me at all… I laughed it off!
Kitchen to get the kettle on. Dank-looking morning view of the bottom field, across from the flats
But they took some moving in the first place…
I even did some cross-wording before things plopped out!
Back to make the brew, and got on the computer.
Mystery photo, here?
Love those white tootsies! Hehehe!
Early nosh sorted out.
From last night’s ‘Heartbeat’ methinks?

Aha, Mr Fries, $26 million a year plus a guaranteed bonus paid, the boss of Liberty-Global – Virgin Media had got the signal working again. Well done to that number-crunching oligarch!
I had a blast on the computerisationing.
