– – POLITICAL, AGAIN – –
The future of the world? A bloodstain,
East, West, ne’er the twain…
We can’t agree to help Ukraine,
Redtop is back as President again…
:::::
Oligarchs, a financial sovereign,
People starving in Suriname,
Chinese think war is a game…
Prices and tax rises, gigantean.
:::::
Starmer, EU, arcane, inhumane,
Backhanders, threats to ducdame,
Wars, death, it always the same,
Do they resist, desist, complain or deign?
:::::
Our planet should be a hallowed fane,
We think more of money, financial gain…
Help each other? Or eat our frangipane?
What I write, I believe, is germane,
:::::
People are so much more legerdemain,
Proletariats can do nothing, we’re lurdane,
To Politicians: life’s a profitable game,
Russia, USA, China, all are Suzerain!
:::::
Which leader is a Bonapartean?
Which leader is a Hitlerarean?
Which leader is a Robespierrean?
Which leader is a Shakespearean?
:::::
Do they know that life is not a video game?
Blaming each other as the villain,
What they say, they do not mean…
Each leader just wants to be the top apogean!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
FURTHERMORE & NOT WITHSTANDING…
A little serious, the above may seem,
Peace is something that rulers cannot attain,
Leaders do not accept the blame…
Neither do they feel or show any shame,
They’re extraordinarily, transmundane,
Am I living in the spiritual realm?
Who’s controlling Earth’s helm?
Is the planet getting overwarm?
Will we live to earth unwarm?
Are Earth’s leaders part of a secret deern?
Nuclear, coal, hydrogen, nor windfarm,
Will stop doing Earth harm,
Will the promised saviour ever return,
Keir spouts primarily lies & aeriform,
I don’t think politicians are homoiotherm,
Their actions affect my neuroectoderm,
Labours mob, are worst, skelm!

I discovered some snaps that I forgot to include in yesterday’s blog. Here they are. Better late than never. I managed to finish the longish Friday ode done before it got too busy. Seizures were again few & far between.

Afternoon views of the puffer clouds.
I’m glad I caught the contrails.

Evening shots.
Sunset.
The high up moon.

Evening meal, well, the only meal. Mixed a tin of chilli with a ready-made chilli meal. Bread & Lemon cake. Slurp!

Not a lot of detail in depth today. It’s been a busy day, and I’m being told off. Hehe!

A smidge deeper shade today.

VISIT
Not half!

Clock-Calender reset.

Daybreak shot.

Midday.

17:30hrs.

Notepad notes: Many are unreadable even with the spyglasses and reading glasses on. I’m assuming it’s always the same when it comes to teatime. It’s been like this for over a week now. I’ve partly guessed at some and left others out—not that many were on the pad. When things calmed down, I had a go at the word list replacement again. I wish I could rid myself of this addiction..
But it seems I’m obsessive. And I can’t!

Found the photos in the camera’s memory.

Multiple corrections were needed to balance things layout-wise before posting it on the blog. I got so angry with myself. This alone cost me well over an hour after I’d spent over two hours updating.

An undecipherable bit here…

Carers Marie and Selina made the first two calls. Marie changed the day catheter for me. There’s another unreadable bit here on the pad.

Phone Call from Social Services. She was not pleased with me. Sadly.

Chris did the teatime Carer call.

I realised that I’d not sorted out the catheter contraptions.
Mind you, I knocked over the drawers in the kitchen, and it took me at least three hours to sort out and reorganize them.

The main problem was that I did not stop working on the stupid word list. I’m not sure while I am doing it. I don’t think I’ll live long enough to finish it. Haha!

Went on comments and WP Reader.

Then realised how hungry I was. I almost returned to recompiling the word list, but I stopped myself.

Must get something to eat now.
I’ll catch up in the morning. (He says!)

I was getting the meal and about to photograph it when the landline chirped up. It was someone asking to speak to Helen. ‘No Helen’s here…’ – ‘Come on duffhead, don’t fart about!’ – ‘I think you’ve got the wrong number!’ – ‘Oh, shit, sorry midduck!’ So at least I knew it was someone from Nottingham when he used ‘midduck. ‘ Hehehe!

I forgot to take a photo of the meal: mashed potatoes, mackerel in BBQ sauce, beetroot, crispy onions, and garden peas. It was not as good as it sounded.

Another day infested with problems granted to me by the
The Virgin Media Internet connection was farcical again. At least Mike Fries, Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairperson of Liberty Global, still gets his guaranteed take-home salary of  $62m, FY2, with bonuses and an open-ended expense account. So, it’s nice that I can get the satisfaction of knowing that my being so gullible, near to bankruptcy, stupid, incapable and mentally disturbed, gives me contentment. I get a warm glow from within, knowing that my failings and incompetencies are contributing to the money-monger, blithely unconcerned about customers, with their sham, bogus false interest in offering a workable internet, financial welfare.
.

03:50hrs: The catheter nocturnal pouch was removed.

.

Much later, went to make a brew of Glengettie.
The house that’s been being done up for about three months, didn’t show signs of activity.

The tea was placed near the out-of-action landline telephone, and I let it go cold.

arrived, and did a grand job of fitting the new . Medications were handed out and then the lad set about replacing the Kevla-ended for me. Shaquille did a very good job of them as well! Thanks, Shaq!

Doctor Vindla phoned on the mobile. But it was hard to hear what she was saying… and made things worse with having just gone down for about the third time, and me losing some work I’d done, and I was getting all uptight at the time she rang me. , with me not hearing her, she could now not understand me. In the end, she did say,: “Ask Carer Kara to ring me, so she can explain. I can’t understand what you are saying!” Embarrassed, I rang off. I’ll ask Kara if she calls later. I tried to find the list of things to mention… if  I actually made one, I was possibly waiting for to come again, so she could go through it with me to check I’d not missed anything? Anyway, if I had, I’d lost it.
Ah, life can be a bummer!

I was busy farting around for an hour or so, trying to get the  back online. And chimed out from the front door. I was delighted to see that it was no other arriving than the pretty, kind Obersturmbannfuhreress, Ice skating champion, florist, ILC (Independent Living coordinator), and, not to be messed with, saviour and comforter, Warden Julie.
On a rescue mission to save me yet again from my unreliable  imposed picklement, danger, fretting and getting further confused, Bless Her ♥!
She whipped a box out of the bag, to reveal a temporary box to use for the Alert Alarm replacement while I awaited the arrival of the connect device from to be delivered, to get the phone working again.
Julie fitted it in no time for me. It had go on the floor, cause the lead was not long enough to reach any furniture. I immediately clocked that this was excellent! When I take the odd tumble, I have to go on my and , with knees, with the risk of bursting to get to the alert Box anyway, so it would be easier to use it now.
Clever stuff, Julie! I fang you!

called. I explained about the Alarm situation, as told to by ILC (Independent Living Coordinator),
Oberstgrüppenfuhreress, Warden and Primo Ballerina, Deana yesterday, told the Carers that when the link comes from Oligarch-ridden arrives, the Carers must advise the Wardens of its arrival, so they can arrange to have it fitted so that the landline telephone will work again. Of course, this is subject to its actual arrival, and relies on not to make any more cock-ups that they already have made! What am I saying? The total brown-outs in the last four hours are standing at nine already.

Last week they failed to get a connection to me or browned out at least 85 times. They sent the wrong date for the fibre change that lost me and so many others the use of their Alarm Alert boxes and landlines… so expecting the number-crunching, dodgy-dealing number-crunchers at , to get anything right, is something one doesn’t get too hopeful about. Pessimistic, morelike. Hello, another update on the quality and service of here.. From who pay their cliquey, elite, select CEO $62 million a year.
Jealous? Me! Yes!

I treated myself to one of the Iceland vanilla ice cream tree suckers. I liked these; they were not sickly sweet. A nice flavour and, with my rotting teeth, is very easy to eat!

, who fitted the ankle and leg straps back this morning, did an excellent job on the. He’s got the knack, no doubt about that! Cheers, mate! As the darkness began to fall, I took this shot through the balcony doors and window from the computer chair. Well, I had plenty of time, what with more browning-outs from the figure-shuffling, illusion, deception, hocus-pocus, mumbo-jumbo, and number-crunching, .

It wasn’t letting me get the signal back, no matter what I tried this time. I cursed out loud, wishing the cacodemons would get my own back for me, and ease my hatred by painfully killing off as the Oligarchal financial entity that it has become, and the bosses at the same time. A man can dream!

I shan’t tell you about a little daydream I had whilst suffering with the painful, smelling, stinking, second evacuation session. But there’s a link in there about my thoughts, dedicated to….

FIND THE FAULT
I bet all the English folks got this one right. As you see, the driver’s half cab on his 1959 double-decker bus, was on the wrong side in the top photo. Did you notice the metal discs on the back of the seats? I think they were ashtrays and cigarette stubber-outerers? I thought this might be another Fault. As cigarettes and smoking, were not allowed in the lower saloon, upstairs only. Or, I may be wrong. It has been known. Hehe!

The potatoes had boiled sufficiently for me to get on with making a feast for myself. It took me a long time to get the flesh from the skins of the halved potatoes. Then, it took me a good hour to chop & mix them with the Cheddar and Leicester cheese, then scoop the mixture, seasoned with sea salt, Worcester sauce and black pepper, back into the husks. Next, I put them into the preheated oven and Germolened my burnt fingers, where I’d cut where I caught some fingers on the oven racking and dropped the knife, and it fell on my ankle left bone and cut the same finger as I rescued it from the floor. Then clean up the fallen and trodden on bits of flesh from the kitchen floor. By the time I’m done all this, the potatoes were checked, and found to be ready for noshing! Good job I’d put the Germolene on, cause that’s where I might have burnt myself again, taking the tray out of the kiln..
4: I nibbled a bit of the crispy potato top plating them, and it tasted so nice, that I hastened to get settled down and start eating them. I was just finishing the last one off, and the smell of burning that was coming from the kitchen

5: This told me I must have left the oven on! I grabbed the , and went to the kitchenette to investigate… As I was going in the doorway, not wearing my spectacles 6: I suffered a short . As I automatically reached to steady myself and help Metal Micky keep me upright, 7: as my hand connected with the surface and edge of the counter corner… 8: (The light was not on yet), I remembered I’d put the sausages I’d cooked on there, and forgot all about eating them, in my haste to consume the cheesy potatoes! I think it was then two of the bangers burst open and sprayed me, my dressing gown, running down the side of the cupboards and onto the floor with their contents, that I wanted to cry! The blasted was enough to break anyone’s spirits. But now, at my getting tired and weary status, I faced all the cleaning up to do!

NOTE: Writing this, tomorrow night; yes, the acted up even more tomorrow! Do you know, I nearly deleted it? No one is going to believe that anybody can have such persistent, on-stop, unending, Voodoo or hoodoo-plagued bad luck when they read this!
I was a little puzzled myself!

I’m already 24 hours behind with the blogging.
So, until… well, if ever there is a vague chance of Working properly again, as it did when it was owned by Richard Branson… I’ll never forgive him for selling his to the plutocratic, pathetic, figure amending and altering, analysations, deconstruction, dissection and manipulativeness of their evaluations, interpretations of the real facts that exist! Yet they continue to buy into so many more internet suppliers companies or buy them out, so as to get their Oligarchal advantage; thus, they can get away with being such crap providers, cause as I see it, anyone leaving Virgin, can only move to another supplier that will own or part-own anyway!

Quote from Mike Fires, CO: Mike Fries Liberty Global delivers next-generation products through advanced fibre and 5G networks, providing over 86 million connections (That doesn’t work, but he fails to mention this in his comments!), across Europe and the UK.
Quote from Wallmine: The estimated net worth of Michael T Fries is at least $175 Million dollars as of 1 May 2023. Mr Fries owns over 215,802 units of Liberty Global plc stock worth over $28,917,283 and over the last 10 years, he sold LBTYK stock worth over $22,634,655. In addition, he makes $123,254,000 as Vice Chairman of the Board, President, and CEO at Liberty Global plc. Oh, I am pleased for the Oligarch!
Well, that’s a new record for him. Well done, Mike! (Spit)
He’s left hundreds of people in care without any alarm lines and telephones, too. Tomorrow, today’s count of failures was dwarfed by shame; he more than doubled it!

I am Fed Up! Tsk!

WHAT AM I MOST EXCITED
ABOUT FOR THE FUTURE?

Erm… err… I’m not sure!

Addendum (I think that’s the word) Ode
In days gone by, my excitement would grow.
What would cause it, I would never know,
Get invited to a party or freak show?
Will I win the lottery, and buy a bungalow?
Go on the piste, and play in the snow?
Win big on the dogs, at Walthamstow?
Christmas: find someone under the mistletoe?
Get a part in a stage play, mayhap Othello?
I should have had a part in Rambo!
As a spare, extra or cameo.
Now I search for a carer with Simpatico,
Can’t see or hear anymore; such sorrow!
I’ve stopped drinking and using tobacco!
Not even the odd Amontillado…
I play both teams in Subutteo!
I guess I’m feeling rather low…
Wherever did my excitement go?
Ah, well, Cheerio!

A hectic day. Medicationalistically, that is!
I shall reveal only the important & humorous stuff, as time is already running out. (Well, that’s the plan anyway) but I have been known to waffle on. Hehe!
I’ve dealt with the pretty, kind Fall Team’s Lisa.
The Doctor’s Surgery… twice…
The Urology Hospital.
Made two more medical appointments given me.
And failed to arrange lifts… yet!

Here we go…

After another night of sleep-wake, sleep-wake, and sleep-wake… I decided to get up around 05:00hrs – fell back asleep, and was woken by Chiming from the doorbell, and in walked my mate and Carer Richard.
The moment I woke and stretched the one leg on the chair (The other had the catheter on it and needed to be kept off of the chair so as not to trap the tubing), the kicked-
off big-time.
Richard, set about getting detaching, then he , and adjusted the straps on the . Gave me the medications and set up the air-fryer for me
. We had a little chat while he did it.

The was utilised, and then I stripped off (A horrible thought for you, I know), and I got the done. Medicationalisationings next. Then the painful bit of doing the hemerine . Finally, nearly two hours after entering the wet room, I started the task of getting dressed.   This provided the first and of the day.
I was at the complicated stage of using the picker-upperer to get the trousers up over the and the attached accoutrements, and, with its usual crap-timing, a burst out.
I fell against the racking and, almost in slow motion, slid down, hitting my chin on the metal. However, I managed to land on a knee, and it was my left knee; this helped me, along with the walking stick, to get back up onto my feet. Even if it did take GC broken toothme an age to manage it. Also, no damage to the catheter, tubing, bag or straps, either. So it could have been a lot worse. As I was at my smuggest, the teeth started bleeding. It must have been from when I hit my chin on the trolley? A flaming good start to the day! It must have taken me over two hours to complete the , and !!!

Made a brew of Thompson’s Punjana and got the computer going.
An Email from the lovely Lisa from the Falls team had to be answered.
At last, very late in the morning, I made a start on finishing off yesterday’s blog.
Herbert above’s short concert of mechanical clanging was short-lived.
Then the lift men began working again. But they were such a lot less noise than last week. Maybe they were getting to the end of the job or more floors down? Got to be done, though.

I made an Iceland order for next week.
The Pharmacy man rang about next week’s appointment.
Then the doctor’s surgery rang; The Doctor needed me to come and see her. That sounded a little worrying! She told me the appointment is for next Monday at 10:30hrs.
Around 16:00hrs, I rang Easy-Link to try and book a lift there and back, but the lady said I must call back in the morning twixt ten & noon. But will I remember to? If I forget, or can’t get through, they are not open Sat and Sundays… Oh, dearie me!

I spent hours on blogging duties. It’s amazing how many mistakes, errors, memory losses and losing track that a man can make! All without any effort at all.

Here are the photographs from the day:

Pareidolia moment with the clouds.

All is well with the Catheter!

Air Fryer was all set up for me!

Blooming nippy out there!

All parked up

Logging off now to get summat to eat.

Eating it, and arrived. Checkedte catheter.
All was well in that department.

I did eat, though. Flavour 7.5/10.

Inchcock Today: Friday 14th October 2022

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Who do you think they are?

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

02:40hrs: I rose full of determination, willpower and commitment to get yesterday’s blog updated and posted puff in record time!
CorelDrawing, Photo Recovery, Excel, Word for the Ode, and back to CorelDraw. Posted the blog and finally found time to get the ablutioning done! Oh, better get the Health Checks done first… Two in the green zone again; it’s looking good! Body temperature is still low, though.

I took these three-morning shots from the kitchenette window as I checked for running taps etc.

Got the clobber I needed to change into after the sh… shave & shower. And, off the wet room.

This session was possibly, mayhap, could have been, was in the running for, very possibly, conceivably, in all likelihood, mayhap, ostensibly, putatively,  very likely, one of the best, easiest, least  Accifauxpa and Whoopsiedangleplop affected visits for months! Oh, yes! A delight from start to finish.

The medicationalisationing went well too! I left to get dressed. A  ! Then…
I cracked my right shoulder against the wet room door frame. Even as began to perform, I merely laughed it off.

By gum, the legs looked so good that I took a photo of them. You never know; the Tate or the Nottingham Art galleries may wish to buy a copy? Hehehe!

06:50hrs now. The Carer is likely to be due soon.
I put the mobile, ailment ID’s wristlets, watch, hearing aids batteries and Spare and sunglasses on the Carer’s table. So as not to forget to take them with me. Got the kettle on for a brew of Co-op 99 tea.

Gathered the things needed from the table and then got them in my jacket pockets and the walker-guide basket. Got the items ready for departure.

Then Carried checks. A good job that I’d given myself plenty of time cause they were persistently double-checked.
We all know who to thank for this. (Photo on the right!)

I arrived in the ground floor lobby with plenty of time to spare. The ETA given to me by the lady at Easy-Link was for 10:20hrs,

By 1035hrs, it had not arrived.

So, I moved into the outer lobby, which offered me a better view for me while waiting.

Around 10:40hrs, I spotted the mini-bus coming along Citrus Way, and it turned around at the end of the road and stopped to pick me up.
I realised then; that we could not get to the Riverside complex in time for the start of the meeting session.

There is always something for and at every Diabetes session that goes wrong! I seem fated with this place! The first meeting was the only one I’d arrived at on time. And since then, the other seven meetings have had hassle! Not in order, but; Late arrivals, Meeting dates were being changed mid-way through. So ensured, I got in a mess with changing the dates and asking Deana to change the bookings with Easy-Link; Meaning I went to one session when it wasn’t on – Missed another altogether – Then they changed the starting time of another meeting, and I ended up stuck in Bulwell for an extra hour & a half because the Easy-Link timing was not changed – Spent a fortune on shopping – Got soaking, sodden wet through, carrier bags, shoes and me dripping wet when the bus arrived – There were events, but I can’t remember them all.
Now today’s arrival was going to be late… Guaranteed to be late when we arrived at Basford. Roadworks traffic was at a standstill at the traffic lights. This was not the driver’s fault; even if he had arrived at the flats on time, we’d still have been late.
So, when the man dropped me off at the Riverside complex, the meeting lasted for fifteen minutes. I decided to forget about going into the room and disturbing everyone. Having missed so much already, what was the point? Feeling pretty pee’d-off now! I wonder if things will ever go right for me again? Fool! What are you saying!

I decided to walk slowly around Bulwell until it was time to go back for the pick-up. Another near-fatal more for the bank account! Fancy letting me free amongst shops and having the bank card with me? Humph!+.
During the hour-and-a-half I was meandering and spending money, I saw no less than four police vehicles arrive in the Bulwell Market area. Three were to collect shop-lifters, the other for a fight taking place between two women on Commercial Road.

That is the road that has closed the Boots store, Cheap food shop, record store, Farmfoods shop, hairdressers, Brighthouse and even a charity outlet! And others as well!

Main Street is heading the same way as Commercial Street. This area too has many closed-down businesses.
Sad to this, it used to be a great shopping area, with little things that could not be purchased in the vicinity.
Three banks closed. Cash-Savers, Beer-off, hairdressers, Two pubs, a Travel agent, Hardware stores, and Heron food shops, among them. So sad!
I spotted a Liberty-Global Virgin Media power unit that had been blocked off Main Street. Somehow, I was not surprised in the least to see this.
A little message in there for the boss of Liberty-Global, Mr Fries, who bought Virgin Media and is in the

process of totally destroying its good name, Mr ($23.6m salaried) Fries. The smoke & mirrors, money manipulator, con man, number crunching chap, who I admire so! No wonder the Virgin internet signal is so crap!

Where was I? Oh, yes… I shopped at the B&M store, then went into the Heron shop. Then as I was window shopping, yes, some of them were still trading; I had a massive Blank. When I came back to hear normality, I was in the Bulwell Market area with a bag of birdseed in the walker basket? I took this photo of the spot where I regained the memory (Sort-off). I didn’t actually regain any memory of the lost period as such. For instance, where I got the birdseed from will have to remain a mystery.
I made use of the bird food; by going to the River Leen and feeding the ducks and birds. Had a chinwag with them, of course. Which attracted some funny looks from those nearby… I can’t understand why?

I hobbled, slightly confused, back to the Riverside Complex and sat inside the car park entrance to await the Easy-Link pick-up. We were soon back at the flats, and I managed to cheer the same driver up with an offer of the can or bottle of his choice. (A Gin & Lime can chose, a smile produced, and a thank you, in the knowledge that he will enjoy that tonight)

I got into the flat and took pictures of the view from the kitchenette window. Then put the kettle on the boil while I put away the things from the carrier bags and trolley basket.

I was surprisingly feeling so tired, and the confusion of earlier returned? I could have done without that.

I forgot all about the mug of tea brewing in the kitchen. Worryingly, I had yet another Blank. It’s difficult to explain these. I don’t know how I will explain to the doctor on Tuesday. At the moment, I think it best not to say anything about them. Not that I believe she listens anymore, anyway.
I was actually in the middle of using the Porcelain Throne duties when I returned from my second mental sojourn of the day. Hahaha!

Most outstandingly, when I went to the kitchen, I found a pan with beans in it, the oven on cooking something that looked like pork slices, and that in itself was a shock; indeed, I would not have bought meat? They must be veggie ones? Also, I found two frozen potatoes in front of the microwave. I genuinely thought I’d lost the plot! This made me more determined not to mention it to the Doctor; she’d never believe me!
I’m not sure what I did? How, why, when… What!

The tune played, and Rihanna came in. Nice to see her again; she’s such a pretty young thing. Soon had the medications sorted, and I explained about the new doses and the Pentax medicine-taking to be checked on. I felt this was not going to happen. With so many different Carers, I will forget who I have and haven’t informed. The paper note I left in the Carers folder is nowhere to be seen? We had a little natter, which was as good as medicine is to me. Treat in thanks chosen, and she took the waste bag for me as she left.

I was definitely having visits from Confusion Conrad today. I was not thinking clearly, at all. Yet, not seemingly bothered by the lapses? I felt chirpy, in fact!

I made up the perfectly cooked nosh by adding the spuds to the beans and whatever it was that looked like belly pork but definitely wasn’t tasting like it.

I ate it slowly, occasionally stopping to think what the heck it was that I’d bought. But it tasted grand, all the same. Not the meat substitute, but it was okay for me, just not what I had expected it to taste like. Hehe! I also wondered where I bought it from.
Mayhap a search of the kitchen waste bag will reveal a box; to reveal the contents of the packaging of the product I purchased? Lackaday it was not to be. For there was no such box within. There was a white plastic bag in there that was not before? I took a sniff at the inside of it… Aha! That smelt like the vegan burgers I have? Guilt appeased!

I did some safety checks around the flat and hit the sack. Got up, did some safety checks around the flat and hit the sack… I had to get up later for a wee-wee. But I resisted doing any more checks. I got down in the recliner, and am pleased to report, that I . At last!

It’s been such a strange day.

03:35hrs: I stirred, passed the wind and coughed a little. Found a couple of chips in the crumpled cushion as I exited the recliner. Between my legs was a kitchen towel roll, crushed?
I remembered the diabetes session and the need to get the blog done and posted before going out. So, without any delay, I got the computer going. But Mr Fries, the overpaid smoke & Mirrors boss, decided I wouldn’t! Down Again!

I got the Boot’s Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China, and carried out the I used the Lumix cameras on Auto mode, to take this photo, not good is it?

As has been the blood pressure habit now for a week or more, up and down twixt the Red’s Hypo-1, 2, and 3, and suddenly back down into the amber zone; Today’s being on the border of the Hypertension 2 & 3.
This does not seem to bother my Doctor much at all. Nor me, for that matter; there’s no way of getting any helpful advice. I put the figures onto the Excel record. Someone just might be interested. I can hear and see them now: ‘Well, of course, I knew this would nobble him in the end. Still, he’d had enough, having Dementia, Cataract, and Depression… it’s a blessing in disguise. Where did you say he kept his money?
Hehehe! It’s essential to keep a sense of humour, innit?

Back on the computer, to see if ambidextrous Mr Fries, the money-cruncher and con-man, has worked out how to get the Virgin Media Internet back online – Oh, it’s working!
Well, done, Mr Fries; give yourself another $1 bonus.

I got the blog finished and sent it off to WordPress. A funny one about me and Alto-Inchy.

But of course, it went down again.

So I got the ablutionisationing done.
A few cuts shaving, but nothing serious. Then the came into use. Trotsky and Constipation Konrad were both about equally effective.

Carol, not seen her for a week or two. Lovely woman. Got the meds sorted and had a laugh and natter. ♥.

Got the things that needed to be checked ready for the Link bus to arrive. Got in a pickle with finding some of the stuff needed, Tsk! Down and outside with the trolley walker in good time. The driver took the payment from my pocket, and we were soon in Bulwell, in the Riverside car park. An unexpected scene presented itself… As the driver got me out of the minibus, I spotted the number of people queuing. along the back of the car park, up to the main road and around the corner!
I thought there might have been a fire alarm at first. There were people mustering the queuers who all had Nottingham City Council Badgers on. One of them came over to the driver and said something to him. He related, “You’ve got to join the queue to get in “. I joined the rank and file, behind what I estimated as 120 people! The driver drove off.
After 15-minutes and very little movement, I observed that an inordinately large percentage of the people were wearing face masks. Then it clicked, and I asked the man and woman in front of me, “Is this the Covid vaccination queue?” Yes, the lady said. The Nottingham City Council bouncer has assumed that is what I went there for. And sent me to join them. Naughty!
I walked into the centre, but I could not see any of the others on the course? Mind you, by now, it was well passed the starting time. So I went up in the lift, and I found some standing in the hallway. It seems some of them had had a text telling them the course will now start at 11:00 hrs, not 11:00hrs? While three of them had one telling them it will begin at the usual time?
Several of them said, Sod this, it’s farcical; I’m going home! As they approached the stairs to leave, the course man Nathanial arrived. I’m not sure if they all came back or not, but there seemed to be more space in the room compared to the last meeting.
As the meeting started, I stopped Nat to tell him, “I can’t hear what he’s saying, he’s too quiet, and when you do speak up, it’s too fast for me to catch”. I set the ball rolling there! Three others backed me up. Nathanial was amazed and thought we could all hear him. Then carried on in just the volume!

We all made a rush to escape when the meeting was over. I went down with Helen in the lift with our trolleys. Got outside, but the queue was still massive, nowhere to sit while waiting for the minibus. Helen’s taxi arrived, so then I had no one to talk to either. Hehe!

The bus arrived, and the non-communicative driver soon me back at the flats. Gave him a bottle of shandy in appreciation and hobbled up to the flat.

To find a letter delivered that looked official! Had a wee-wee, washed and investigate the correspondence. It was the Co-op Bank informing me of the balance of my savings account. It had gone up from last year… from £2.99, to £3.00. Ah, well!

I took a photo of the afternoon view.
Did some updating on this blog, and then the Fatigue-Fall fell on me?
I was of no use at all. My concentration collapsed, and my body and mind told me to get sat down and relax.
So I did!

within seconds of sitting down, and I slept unbrokenly for about four hours. To be rudely awoken to the chimes of ♫ Oh Susana ♫ blaring out.
Jozeph had arrived. I was only partially aware of what took place, but I feel we had a little natter. Memories of walking to the door with him to lock it and having to ask him to take the waste bag.

I thought I was going to stay up. So, the evening sky and sunsetting looked so beautiful; I thought I’d take some shots of it from the left to the right.

Mother Nature at her finest.

I then proceeded t get something to eat, but I didn’t feel up to making a full meal.
So, the microwave and kettle were used. A veggie burger on a cob and a pot of instant potato, bubble & squeak with cheese granules added.
I got down in the recliner to eat eat, making plans of updating this blog later, and even scribbled some notes to reaming me to go into it. I soon had it eaten, put the tray on the Carers table, while making plans of all the work I’d got to catch up on…
And drifted off until 03:35hrs in the morning! But it was a fitful sleep, full of jumping awakes, that it felt like were happening every five minutes!
Humph!
