Scots Gaelic: Disathairne 3 Lùnastal 2019
23:30hrs; I woke in need of a wee-wee. The general performance in getting out of the £300, c1968, mind-blowingly crude beige-coloured, rickety recliner, was more comfortable than it has been for months. The ailments must have still been asleep! Haha! So good and pain-free was I, that I didn’t use the stick to get to the grey plastic wee-wee bucket at all!
However, unfortunately, the passing was of the UWBUS (Ultra-Weak-But-Uncontrollable-Sprinkly) version. I think I prefer the power-blast type, at least I know when things are finished. Hence, the first job was to clean and sanitise the bucket and me and change my PP’s. (Disesteem-Mode-Engaged!)
It felt very nippy this morning. The new unwanted kitchen windows were steamed up inside and moist on the outside? I put the dressing gown on.
I moved the hanging handwashing to the stand-up airer.
Then the need for another wee-wee arrived. Aha, I was cunning. I decided to use the sit-upon Throne this time. But things were not the same as the last wee-wee. (I should be so lucky!) This was an ELPSOA (Extra-Long-Powerful-Spraying-Out-Allover) wee-wee. The blast-back soaked things that should not have been soaked! I had to clean up the floor, cabinets, sink and myself! Such was the force of the spraying! How things can change like this, is beyond my understanding? Bending down did me no good, and started Anne Gyna off. Galumph! But, it did make me aware that the stomach had bloated a lot overnight, and had gained a few extra marks. There appear to be some new spots taking hold as well. At the bottom of the heart op scars. It could have been how I was laying in the gungy rusty-recliner, perhaps?

I retrieved the hemadynamometer from the medical drawer and failed three times to get the machine to operate. Got it to go on the fourth attempt, though, and with fair results again too. Sia 142, Dia 72, Pulse 86.
However, the body temperature was still very low, I thought, at 34°c. I must mention this on Monday when I go to the surgery for the annual CHD test, the extra CBC and the Lipid assessment test. A Shame that Lipid can’t be quoted in an acronym form, I could have made a hat-trick there! Hahaha!
That got me thinking, where the term hat-trick came from. So I looked it up on Google: The term originated in cricket during 1879, where it refers to three wickets taken by a bowler in three consecutive balls, traditionally rewarded with the presentation of a hat. No charge for this information! Financial Donations gladly accepted, though. Hehehe!
I made a start on the updating of the Friday post. It was a long slog, with the finger ends playing up and not recording anything they touched to the brain! Then…

Making progress decelerated even more! The damned operation of updating and getting it posted off to WordPress, took me over five hours! It was daylight by the time I’d completed it! Misty in the distance mind.
Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet then decided it would start to die occasionally on me! Progress fluctuated between a dead stop, and frustratingly sluggish! Ah, it’s weekend again! See how clever I was to spot that? Sad really!
I tried doing a defrag on Norton, they now call it a clean-up apparently. It performed this in about three seconds? Then I tried uploading another photo on WordPress. But no luck, it wouldn’t/didn’t have it. Oh, Globstagglefunk!
I looked up how to do a defrag. Chose all three drive options, including the massive old external Passport drive I use, and it started defragging. The first two drives took all of three seconds to do. The Passport cleaning was about ten minutes. As I recall from years ago, the defragging took ages and yonks?
I tried uploading the photo again. It took it but struggled, and it cost about five minutes to go on.
Hello, the Porcelain Throne beckons. Back in a bit…
Well, that was different, in the extreme! The first shock that tool some comprehending was the lack of pain. Then the softness. Then the flow stopping with what was obviously a lot more to come yet? I expect to be trotting back to the Throne again soon.
Washing my hands after the evacuation of sorts, and the right arm had a mini-session of directing an orchestra! It was over within 30 seconds and back to normal as it can be. But I still had to dry the floor and my torso and legs of the splashed water from the sink. Ah, well!
I was doing alright, really. With the computer, Virgin Media Internet, no one to socialise with, the leg and arm playing up, and the Throne changes; I feel I’m doing satisfactorily in the megrims and endogenous depression departments. I hope the computer problems don’t get too much and beyond me, that would do me no good!
I was doing well with the aberrancies, instabilities, Whoopsiedangleplops, annoyances and vagaries of the day, I thought.
Then, out of the blue, came an alarming weariness and a general, but definite disequilibriumness. A vertiginousness, a wooziness, that took over the body and mind. I don’t mind telling you, it shook me up, coming on so suddenly, in the twinkling of an eye.
I sat still in the chair for ten minutes to recover, but this didn’t work. I assumed lack of food for so long might be part of the cause, and got the fodder cooked prepared and served up. (Bulimia?)
I made the easiest to cook meal that I could. The vegetarian chilli, and heated the last sourdough bread. Another worrying factor to consider, was, is my abstemiousness for food on the wane?
Half-way through the nosh, I had to go to the Porcelain Throne. A failure, though, all wind. Washed and returned to the meal, the, oh, so too big a bowl of, of Soulful pulled jackfruit, smokey BBQ chilli with beans. ‘A scrumptious chunky chilli with chipotle and pumpkin seeds’ – with the black bean sauce and orange tomatoes that I had added to it. Could this be comfort eating?
I finished the, to me, delectable, delicious, dinner. After I’d washed the pots and took the evening medications, I still felt unsteady, weak, and so tired now.
But sleep refused to come. My mind, sort of went into a lull, pause, or respite mode. I put on the TV, but didn’t even watch it properly, it was just company of sorts, while the mind stewed in turmoil, and the stomach stung, and Anne Gyna stabbed away at me.
I gave up on sleeping. I’ve no idea why, but I got up and went to the balcony, and took a shot of the evening sky through the windows.
The odd tap-tapping noise started again. It might have been pipework perhaps?
Off I trudged to the Porcelain Throne once more. Aha! Movement. Sloppy and messy, a little bleeding, and not a lot of evacuated material this time.
A good wash then did the teggies, and back to the second-hand, £300, c1968, horrendous beige-coloured, tatty, rickety recliner, determined to get some sleep.
Huh! I lay there for over an hour or so before the blessed kip arrived. But during this time, the tummy and Anne Gyna both calmed down.
Zzzz!

I cleaned up me, and the kitchen, and sorted some morning tablets out, and took them.
back to the medical drawer. I got a sachet of the Movicol and mixed and downed a cup of it, and took a Senna at the same time. Oh, ‘eck!
I thought I’d check on Morrison’s to see if they have any of the Special Offer butter in stock yet.
I had a listen to the others chinwagging for a while. The City-bound L9 arrived, and Marie insisted on my getting on ahead of the others. Guiltily, I did so. But this gesture ensured I got the only semi-comfortable side-saddle seat on the bus. Nice!
The square looked a right mess.
As I got to the end of South Parade, a young lady Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist, all but clouted into me, as she went by me far to close for comfort.
I turned into Wheeler Gate, and approached the Poundland shop, in search of Pork Farms pork pies, Shebert saucers and to see if they had any fresh bread available.
I got to the bus stop on Queen Street, and soon after Marie and Malcolm from Woodthorpe Court joined me.
All three of us alighted, crossed over sensibly using the little central island, and made our way back to the flats down the hill. Marie and Malcolm gained speed and left me behind. Hehe!
I got the food out of the three-wheeled trolley and onto the counter.
purchases. The BLT sarnie and pork pie had some beetroot, cheeses, apple and tomatoes added to them, while the delicious Asda bacon fried chips were cooking, and boy, were they scrumptious! Apart from the Asda cooked beetroots, that were the consistency of an Australian Buloke tree wood, this was an unalloyed, veritable feast!

Got the computer on, and checked the emails. An Email from the Nottingham Post Newsdesk informed me of this gigantic breakfast now on sale in a Nottingham restaurant or cafe somewhere. The most copious breakfast that is available in the Midlands it said. I can believe it too! Flipping heck, surely that’s not made for one serving? It looks tempting, though! Haha!
I had another WYSAO wee-wee, and had a rinse and made another brew. Then took the medications, and got the machine out to do the health checks. The sphygmomanometer worked on the third try. The readings were fine again. But the body temperature was a little low, still, at 34.1°c. I think so anyway, I keep forgetting what it should be, so I might be wrong; it has been known! Hehehe!
guzzles of the mostly inefficacious, no good to Gundy, Peptac. I did feel a fool! Which, of course, is a regular happening.
While showering, I decided to have a hobble to Arnold. This walk used to take me about one and a quarter hours to complete. (Today, it took me three hours!)
Down in the lift, with the trolley. No signs of any CIDP bother in the hands, arms or legs. Just the shoulder doing a bit of jiggling about now and then. Things were good!
I turned left at the top, down the trolley-wheel-grottifying, leaves, seeds, twigs and muddy walk-way.
So, I cleaned the wheels as best I could. Then set out North. Along Mansfield Road.
Dizzy Dennis called again to visit me. He stayed a little longer this time. But left me with no after-effects.
Along by Sainsbury’s and into Arnold.
Monday!), Sliced apples and a reduce in price triple DVD of The Men in Black.

I got the kettle on, took the medications and got the sphygmomanometer from the medical drawer, and did the health checks.
I washed and got to the computer, and looked up this (to me) wonder-drug. I got this information: Compound Macrogol Oral Powder has electrolytes that help to maintain your body’s normal levels of sodium, potas

Then for a break, I went on the TFZer Facebooking and photo galleries to update. Wat a marathon session that was! I’m tired, drained, feeling hungry (The corn flakes might get attacked next) and happier than I have been for a while.
them in black bean sauce, for a few hours. Then cook them in the oven. I added a sprinkle of mixed herbs on top of them. An experimental effort that I hope comes out alright. I’ve some freshly-podded garden peas soaking in a saucepan with a spoonful of demerara sugar in the water. A giant potato, to be chopped up and mixed with some cheese, to round off the meal. If I bite them, I’ll have some of the Asda (Walmart) ball bearings as well. Oh, I mean, beetroot. Hehe! But that’s a long way off yet.
Washed the pots, had only the third wee-wee in over eight hours! Every one of them of the newly arrived substandard USUWSS (Ultra-Slow-Uncontrollable-Weak-Sprinkly)
I got the dinner made up and served. Cheesy potatoes with red Leicester cheese, gherkins, red and yellow tomatoes, rock-hard beetroot, fresh garden peas, and two shoulder steaks with BBQ marinade and mixed herbs.

Cleaned things and me up, first time for a messy session in ages.
a healthy 25°c – 74°f,
Tim Price on the calculator, of course, it seems that this is 93.02°c? So, maybe I got a little confused again? Ahem!
I got the Monday post finished in a reasonable time. The fingers, hands, arm, and leg were all being kind to me, not a lot of jerking, jumping and dancing. Only the shoulder shakes were of any real bother. A worrying few mini-dizzy-spells, though.
I went to make a brew of tea, and the clouds in the sky certainly, visually, backed up the forecast on the site.
I got Out, over Chestnut Way, pausing to take in the beautiful clump of trees at the bottom of the hill. Then, up the gravel footpath to the park, alright. Also, through the ginnel, stopping to take a photographicalisation of the fantastic view that greeted me at

An hour later, and things had changed back again!
Took the medications. Cooking finished.
As I got myself settled to watch some TV and got the pins up on the chair. I remembered that I had forgotten to tell Dr Vindla about the legs differing sizes.

I went on to create some templates in advance (Although only two, but still, better than none) Hehe!
Outside and walking along Chestnut Way, I took this snap of Windwood and Winchester Courts.
As I turned right onto Winchester Street, the fruits were well-advanced. Likely they had been encouraged by yesterday’s rain, perhaps, maybe… or not.
The pace slowed a bit as I a got to the hilltop, picked up again as I almost lost control of the trolley a couple of times. No doubt about it, this trolley doesn’t like going downhill at all!
. I’ll do them in the slow cooker! I had to buy a carrier bag, I’d left the one I purchased at Asda in the four-wheeler trolley (Humph!) An assistant helped me pack the cart and bag! But the card would not be accepted on swipe! As luck would have it, I remembered the number and put it in, and it worked. I hope I will not be charged the £12.17 four times!
not in a good state, but I was so glad to see them both. Looking good too! Yee-Haa!
leaves and grass. In fact, it has hard to push the trolley with all the gunk on the wheels!
h!

I spent three hours updating this blog. Then got the nosh prepared and served up!

Then got the kettle on and got the morning medications out ready. I still can’t get used to taking so few tablets now they have cut them down.
Made a start on this post, and needed a leak. Another of the LLP (Long-Lasting-Powerfull) wee-wees. Then went to make another brew.
I got the ablutions tended to next, as it was nearly eight o’clock. The legs looked far improved and had lost a lot of water retention.
Back to sort my nosh out. Peas in balsamic vinegar, gherkins, tomatoes, crispy edges of cheesy potato, franks and bacon juice chips (fries).

The stomach was bloated a lot. But the legs looked far better, this morning. They were both of the same size, water retention-wise. A rarity that! Haha!

Stopped to make a brew of tea, and boy, was it was raining. Not a storm of any sort, just persistent rain.
I went onto the balcony for a few minutes and spotted two incoming visitors, I expect. They parked up and made their way to the flats along Chestnut Way in the rain. I was so happy to see the gentleman sharing his umbrella with his other half.
Got the nosh prepared, and served up.

Off to the kitchen, put the kettle on, and got the handwashing onto the drying frame.

I just had to take this photograph of the clouds outside, it was was attractive and beautiful. To me, anyway.

So, I went into the Asda (Walmart) same as yesterday. I could not carry everything in one trip. Poor old thing! I got some more of the bacon-juice baked chips, a 3-pack of custard and fruit pots, and some more rice on special offer. Oh, and some nibbles for the Social hand-outs. I could not see any of the Gorilla tapes. I spent too long searching, and by the time I struggled, as others were doing, at the self serve tills, which played-up on everyone, I paid and got out, I had to go as fast as I could to the bus stop in time.
The L9 arrived about two minutes later! Phew!
Got the nosh cooking. I emptied the ‘Soulfood’ ready-made vegetarian meal, into a saucepan, and added the last of the fresh pod peas, and some halved mini-tomatoes. As in this photograph on the right.
Got it served up and enjoyed it. Too much bread (Sliced Milk Roll) was eaten with it. (Guilty Mode Adopted) By gum, it was tasty!

The legs looked a to be improving, though. Arthur Itis was all calm. Colin Cramps had eased-off. It seems like Duodenal Duncan, and Diarhorrea Donald had added themselves to today’s ‘Issues’ list, to worry about, and giving me grief!
I just about had time to go to add the photos to the Facebook page, then got the Ablutions sorted out.
I decided to take a walk, a gentle, steady amble, to the dead-end of Chestnut Way, to photograph an area I’ve not done before. I took this picture on the left, of the entrance to the new Winwood Court and office facilities.
The excellent windows being fitted in the Winwood Extra Care Court. And the outside entrance for Woodthorpe Court, on Chestnut Way.
I got down. No humanoids were about again. I removed the clobber and folded it, there was only a dressing-coat, bath towel, woolly hat, a jumper and one pair of pants, to transport into the bag on the three-wheeled-trolley. Cleaned the filter and inside the drum.
I got the nosh sorted and served up.
