Scots Gaelic: Disathairne 3 Lùnastal 2019

23:30hrs; I woke in need of a wee-wee. The general performance in getting out of the £300, c1968, mind-blowingly crude beige-coloured, rickety recliner, was more comfortable than it has been for months. The ailments must have still been asleep! Haha! So good and pain-free was I, that I didn’t use the stick to get to the grey plastic wee-wee bucket at all!

WD 0.0.150 However, unfortunately, the passing was of the UWBUS (Ultra-Weak-But-Uncontrollable-Sprinkly) version. I think I prefer the power-blast type, at least I know when things are finished. Hence, the first job was to clean and sanitise the bucket and me and change my PP’s. (Disesteem-Mode-Engaged!)

It felt very nippy this morning. The new unwanted kitchen windows were steamed up inside and moist on the outside? I put the dressing gown on.

I moved the hanging handwashing to the stand-up airer.

WD 0.0.150 Then the need for another wee-wee arrived. Aha, I was cunning. I decided to use the sit-upon Throne this time. But things were not the same as the last wee-wee. (I should be so lucky!) This was an ELPSOA (Extra-Long-Powerful-Spraying-Out-Allover) wee-wee. The blast-back soaked things that should not have been soaked! I had to clean up the floor, cabinets, sink and myself! Such was the force of the spraying! How things can change like this, is beyond my understanding? Bending down did me no good, and started Anne Gyna off. Galumph! But, it did make me aware that the stomach had bloated a lot overnight, and had gained a few extra marks. There appear to be some new spots taking hold as well. At the bottom of the heart op scars. It could have been how I was laying in the gungy rusty-recliner, perhaps?

1Mon02

5Sat01I retrieved the hemadynamometer from the medical drawer and failed three times to get the machine to operate. Got it to go on the fourth attempt, though, and with fair results again too. Sia 142, Dia 72, Pulse 86.

However, the body temperature was still very low, I thought, at 34°c. I must mention this on Monday when I go to the surgery for the annual CHD test, the extra CBC and the Lipid assessment test. A Shame that Lipid can’t be quoted in an acronym form, I could have made a hat-trick there! Hahaha!

That got me thinking, where the term hat-trick came from. So I looked it up on Google: The term originated in cricket during 1879, where it refers to three wickets taken by a bowler in three consecutive balls, traditionally rewarded with the presentation of a hat. No charge for this information! Financial Donations gladly accepted, though. Hehehe!

I made a start on the updating of the Friday post. It was a long slog, with the finger ends playing up and not recording anything they touched to the brain! Then…

Vir s 0.0.150

IMG_1212WD 0.0.150 Making progress decelerated even more! The damned operation of updating and getting it posted off to WordPress, took me over five hours! It was daylight by the time I’d completed it! Misty in the distance mind.

Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet then decided it would start to die occasionally on me! Progress fluctuated between a dead stop, and frustratingly sluggish! Ah, it’s weekend again! See how clever I was to spot that? Sad really!

I tried doing a defrag on Norton, they now call it a clean-up apparently. It performed this in about three seconds? Then I tried uploading another photo on WordPress. But no luck, it wouldn’t/didn’t have it. Oh, Globstagglefunk!

WD 0.0.150 I looked up how to do a defrag. Chose all three drive options, including the massive old external Passport drive I use, and it started defragging. The first two drives took all of three seconds to do. The Passport cleaning was about ten minutes. As I recall from years ago, the defragging took ages and yonks?

I tried uploading the photo again. It took it but struggled, and it cost about five minutes to go on.

Hello, the Porcelain Throne beckons. Back in a bit…

WD 0.0.150 Well, that was different, in the extreme! The first shock that tool some comprehending was the lack of pain. Then the softness. Then the flow stopping with what was obviously a lot more to come yet? I expect to be trotting back to the Throne again soon.

WD 0.0.150 Washing my hands after the evacuation of sorts, and the right arm had a mini-session of directing an orchestra! It was over within 30 seconds and back to normal as it can be. But I still had to dry the floor and my torso and legs of the splashed water from the sink. Ah, well!

I was doing alright, really. With the computer, Virgin Media Internet, no one to socialise with, the leg and arm playing up, and the Throne changes; I feel I’m doing satisfactorily in the megrims and endogenous depression departments. I hope the computer problems don’t get too much and beyond me, that would do me no good!

I was doing well with the aberrancies, instabilities, Whoopsiedangleplops, annoyances and vagaries of the day, I thought.

WD 0.0.150 Then, out of the blue, came an alarming weariness and a general, but definite disequilibriumness. A vertiginousness, a wooziness, that took over the body and mind. I don’t mind telling you, it shook me up, coming on so suddenly, in the twinkling of an eye.

6Sat02aI sat still in the chair for ten minutes to recover, but this didn’t work. I assumed lack of food for so long might be part of the cause, and got the fodder cooked prepared and served up. (Bulimia?)

I made the easiest to cook meal that I could. The vegetarian chilli, and heated the last sourdough bread. Another worrying factor to consider, was, is my abstemiousness for food on the wane?

Half-way through the nosh, I had to go to the Porcelain Throne. A failure, though, all wind. Washed and returned to the meal, the, oh, so too big a bowl of, of Soulful pulled jackfruit, smokey BBQ chilli with beans. ‘A scrumptious chunky chilli with chipotle and pumpkin seeds’ – with the black bean sauce and orange tomatoes that I had added to it. Could this be comfort eating?

I finished the, to me, delectable, delicious, dinner. After I’d washed the pots and took the evening medications, I still felt unsteady, weak, and so tired now.

WD 0.0.150 But sleep refused to come. My mind, sort of went into a lull, pause, or respite mode. I put on the TV, but didn’t even watch it properly, it was just company of sorts, while the mind stewed in turmoil, and the stomach stung, and Anne Gyna stabbed away at me.

6Sat03aI gave up on sleeping. I’ve no idea why, but I got up and went to the balcony, and took a shot of the evening sky through the windows.

The odd tap-tapping noise started again. It might have been pipework perhaps?

Off I trudged to the Porcelain Throne once more. Aha! Movement. Sloppy and messy, a little bleeding, and not a lot of evacuated material this time.

A good wash then did the teggies, and back to the second-hand, £300, c1968, horrendous beige-coloured, tatty, rickety recliner, determined to get some sleep.

Huh! I lay there for over an hour or so before the blessed kip arrived. But during this time, the tummy and Anne Gyna both calmed down.

Zzzz!

Friday 2nd August 2019

Latin: August 2nd Veneris MMXIX

WD 50.100.200. 22:15hrs. I gave up trying to get any sleep. I dismounted the £300 second-hand, c1968, sickly-beige, often not working, rickety-recliner, caught my balance, grabbed the stick and off to the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). I was caught unawares as it turned out to be an LRWS (Long-Reluctant-Weak-Sprinkly) wee-wee. Trying to work out when, or if, it had stopped, was a risky affair. Hehehe!

To the kitchen with the bucket, for cleaning and disinfecting. Despite the lengthy evacuation, and using the bucket a few times earlier, there was very little content in it.

WD 50.100.200.WD 50.100.200a I was filling the kettle when the leg started to burst into one of its dancing routines. As Tim Price put it: “Come on leggies let’s do the locomotion. Then the hokey pokey, and a one-note samba!” Hehehe! It only lasted a few seconds, a minute at most. But what a pickle I got myself into! An excellent blooming job the water was cold, as it spilt onto the floor, via my legs and the left foot. I grabbed the counter as the stick was going along with the leg, and knocked the medication box onto the floor. Which opened up, and I now have several unusable wet tablets to sort out! It could have been a lot worse!

5Fri01I cleaned up me, and the kitchen, and sorted some morning tablets out, and took them. Then got the health checks taken. Another good set of results. Although the same as the last three or four days, the body temperature was a bit low at 34°c. I’ll check on the range it should be now, cause I keep forgetting to do it. Back in a bit!

I found it. Google: Adults over age 70. In older adults, the average body temperature is lower than 98.6°F (36.2°C). Well, that’s as clear as mud! Tsk!

WD 50.100.200. I took the tea to the computer to make a start on updating yesterday’s blog. But had to do a volte-face, as the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived urgently (I thought). With the Movocol working so well on Thursday and having taken another last night, I thought I’d better not risk any delay! Well fancy-schmancy. Back to rock-hard, reluctant and rather painful mode! When things eventually moved, I was close to calling for help by pressing my wristlet-alarm! I had a proper cleansing and ointmenting session, as things had gotten somewhat imbrued. Another wash-up, and 4Thu13back to the medical drawer. I got a sachet of the Movicol and mixed and downed a cup of it, and took a Senna at the same time. Oh, ‘eck!

I got the hand-washed last night, bamboo socks onto the stand-up airer. I left the t-shirt hanging up.

Back to the computer. A good few photographs to add, which delayed things a little, but the CIDP was all calm, bar the jiggling shoulder. About three and a half hours later, it had been sorted, posted to WordPress… and I needed another Porcelain Throne visitation to be made!

Aha, a much more relaxed affair this time. Mind you, if the last one had not been such agony, I might have thought this one was. Do I make sense there?

The wee-wees had seemingly dried up. I’ve not needed one for four hours now!

5Fri004I thought I’d check on Morrison’s to see if they have any of the Special Offer butter in stock yet.

No luck, Grumph! Sorry, Jenny.

I made plans to go to the City Centre today, to have a photographicalisationing walkabout.

So, I got the ablutionalisation done. No shaving cuts whatsoever, and only two dropsies, one the pain gel tube, the other, the body spray can. Smugness Reigned!

Black bins to the waste chute, all dressed and smelling nice now, Hehe! I got the three-wheeler and set out to the bus stop.

I could see a gang of residents waiting at the bus stop as I walked along Chestnut Way, but didn’t take a picture, as I recognised one of them who doesn’t like to be photographed. Fair enough. I took what I thought was a different angle shot of Winchester Court, and a shot of the front of the new, soon to be occupied, Winwood Court. I may not be a fan of some of the new balconies, windows, heaters, failed intercom system, but I love the colour scheme on both courts.

1Mon02

5Fri007I had a listen to the others chinwagging for a while. The City-bound L9 arrived, and Marie insisted on my getting on ahead of the others. Guiltily, I did so. But this gesture ensured I got the only semi-comfortable side-saddle seat on the bus. Nice! I got off the bus on Queen Street and walked down to the Slab Square.

5Fri007aThe square looked a right mess.

I walked along Long Row and around the back of the council house, then through the famously expensive, abandoned, full-of overpriced rental retailers, closed down shops and customer-free, Arcade Walk.

Photos below, of the amble around the Council House.

5Fri10As I got to the end of South Parade, a young lady Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist, all but clouted into me, as she went by me far to close for comfort. By the time I’d got the camera out, she had to bt zoom-shotted (I like that phrase? Hehe!) as she continued to threaten other pedestrians. Note the adorable tattoo decorations on the young lady in black, legs!

5Fri017I turned into Wheeler Gate, and approached the Poundland shop, in search of Pork Farms pork pies, Shebert saucers and to see if they had any fresh bread available.

The drivers at the taxi rank were chatting away in what I think was Pakistani.

I got into the store, and made for the fridges and found some Pork Farms pork pies, two went into my basket.

WD 50.100.200. Then, they fell out again, as the CIDN arm did an unstoppable but impressive Nazi salute. The ladies behind me screamed and moved away in haste, and as I late found out, they went to tell a member of staff about my dangerous actions. Oh, dearie me! It is only the third time the arm has ever done this. I then failed to find any sherberts or bread. But, I did get some Orange club biscuits, Cheeslets, Twiglets, a BLT sandwich and a Bar for the social-hour nibble box.

As I went into the self-serve area, a lady came to me and did all the work of putting the stuff through for me. This was when she told me about the two ladies complaining to her about my arm actions and dropping the basket, pies etc. on the floor. Luckily, this kind lady knows of my ‘Issues’ with my right side limbs movements. Several weeks ago, in the same store, the arm did its shooting out and up while I was at the tills then. This is why the lady came to me today, so kindly, to help me. The lady didn’t say what she said to the women. I thanked her for her help, and as I was exiting the shop, the two ladies approached me and asked if I was alright. So whatever the Poundland assistant told them, it had hit home. This restored some faith in humanity in me. I shall inform Poundland by Email, thanking the lady and praising her actions. It’s no good just moaning about things. When they go right, it is nice to be able to thank people properly.

I had a hobble around, taking some photographicalisations, before making my way to the bus stop.

5Fri20cI got to the bus stop on Queen Street, and soon after Marie and Malcolm from Woodthorpe Court joined me. I like the reflectionisationing of Marie in the shining bus stop. It makes it look as if she has two trolleys and had lost weight. Hehehe!

Marie and I were having a chinwag and laugh, but the 11:05hr L9 bus did not arrive! We went a stop down the hill and caught the 40 bus. An even more uncomfortable route than the L9 on this trip. So many hills and speed bumps to go over. As we approached our stop, which was on one of the steeping bus route hills in Nottingham, Marie kindly warned me not to try and get up until the bus had stopped.

5Fri20dAll three of us alighted, crossed over sensibly using the little central island, and made our way back to the flats down the hill. Marie and Malcolm gained speed and left me behind. Hehe!

By the time I caught up with them, and only because they had stopped in the lobby for a chinwag with Cyndy, Mo and Doris, I joined in with a hello there! Obviously, Marie and I were either in need of the WC, was hungry, wanted a kip or a mug of tea, so we departed and had a bit of a wait for the elevator to arrive, but had a natter and laugh while we waited. Farewells on the 7th floor, and I was soon back home. Tired, but contended. Some great nattering session enjoyed today, they made me feel almost normal. Haha!

5Fri20eI got the food out of the three-wheeled trolley and onto the counter.

The orange club biscuits that I had bought for nibbles may well end up being for just me. I took two out to have as a dessert with the nosh late. Guilt-Mode dawned!

The meal of the day plans was evident by the 5Fri20fpurchases. The BLT sarnie and pork pie had some beetroot, cheeses, apple and tomatoes added to them, while the delicious Asda bacon fried chips were cooking, and boy, were they scrumptious! Apart from the Asda cooked beetroots, that were the consistency of an Australian Buloke tree wood, this was an unalloyed, veritable feast!

A deserving, despite the Asda beetroot, a 9.2/10 flavour rating! I ate it slowly, masticating as much as my shortage of teeth would allow me to, every mouthful!

The pot of jelly and custard took me back to my young days, it was unstimulating, wishy-washy, bland and awful! Just like my youthful days were. Thankfully, at the time, I was ignorant of proper food being available. But when Dad sent me out to get the week’s shopping with 2/6d (12.5p), how could I be aware? Haha!

I did the washing up, then got the handwashing done. Leaving it in the bowl to soak overnight.

Thankfully, my plans to watch some TV were destroyed – by the heaven-sent sleep arriving!

Ahh! Zzz!

Inchcock Today – Thurs 1 Aug 19: Got out for a mini-marathon hobble with the trolley. The same route used to take an hour and a bit – now, three hours! But I did it! Smug-Mode Adopted!

Thursday 1st August 2019

Cymraeg – Welsh: Dydd Iau 1 Awst 2019

4Thu001

22:35hrs: I had to give up trying to get to sleep. A new aching from the innards and the CIDP affected right arm kept shooting all over the place. And I needed a wee-wee! I dismounted the £300, second-hand, sickly-beige coloured, rusty, c1968, rickety recliner, and used the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). It was taking so long to get rid of so little liquid… then after several minutes of struggling and urging,  it was as if someone had suddenly turned on the tap! Blimey! Splashbacks and pain! Oy Yay!

When I went to the kitchen, I was surprised at first, not see any handwashing hanging up. Then remembered I was too shattered last night to do any. It was too early to take the medications or do the health checks – so I must remember later on in the morning to do them. I got the kettle on, It was still raining outside, but far less than earlier on. Made the mug of tea, and as I returned to the flea-pit room to start the computer, I needed another wee-wee. A different style this time, a WYSAO (Weak-Yet-Spraying-All-Over) wee-wee. And no sudden surges in power this time.

4Thu03Got the computer on, and checked the emails. An Email from the Nottingham Post Newsdesk informed me of this gigantic breakfast now on sale in a Nottingham restaurant or cafe somewhere. The most copious breakfast that is available in the Midlands it said. I can believe it too! Flipping heck, surely that’s not made for one serving? It looks tempting, though! Haha!

The new tummy-ache kicked off as I started to update the Wednesday Diary. When I take the medications, I’ll take an extra 5mg Ramipril, that might settle the innards for me. I pressed on, the fingers, hands, etc. had all calmed down from last night. I was well pleased that the arm was no longer doing it’s flying out all over the place. If it had been, I wouldn’t have dared go on the computer – cause sure as eggs are eggs, the arm would have done its impersonation of a Hitler salute, and might have hit the touch-screen!

A couple of hours or so later, I got the post finalised and sent off to WordPress.

4Thu02I had another WYSAO wee-wee, and had a rinse and made another brew. Then took the medications, and got the machine out to do the health checks. The sphygmomanometer worked on the third try. The readings were fine again. But the body temperature was a little low, still, at 34.1°c. I think so anyway, I keep forgetting what it should be, so I might be wrong; it has been known! Hehehe!

WD 0.0.0. I remembered to take the extra Ramipril alright – then realised they are for the BP, not a panchymagogue. What an Idiot! So I had a couple of extra 4Thu04guzzles of the mostly inefficacious, no good to Gundy, Peptac. I did feel a fool! Which, of course, is a regular happening.

I had a check on the Morrison site, to see if they have any of the West Country butter in stock for Jenny and Frank. If so, I’ll do an order.

WD 0.0.0. Nope, Out-of-Stock again! So, with Jenny & Frank being away for a while, I’ve time to try again later and can keep it in the freezer for when the return. That is if Morrison ever manages to get any back in stock before the Special Offer finishes! I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t get an more, though. It is an excellent price, and must be in great (unsatisfied) demand from hundreds of customers who also cannot get any! This way, Morrison’s can claim their prices are lower. Of course the won’t actually sell any, but still! So, no order from this Nottinghamian!

I then went on CorelDraw to do a couple more graphics to use and saved them.

Then started this blog going.

Then made up some templates for the Inchcock Todays. Stomach still rumbling, grumbling and churning a bit? Brekkers time, corn flakes and a mug of tea, methinks.

4Thu07WD 0.0.0.A2 The ablutions were sorted. No teeth-cleaning or shaving cuts suffered! Only a razor, once, and the soap, twice, were dropped from the CIDP affected hand. The shower head was not dropped at all today.

Although it didn’t show up in this picture, I’ve no idea why; but the veins showed up dark blue, almost black and bulged, in the right arm while showering myself. Well, there’s no one else to shower with! Hahaha! The pins were still thin, with far less fluid retention. And I could not see any new blood papsule, spots, bruises or blotches on the leg at all! Smug-Mode-Adopted!

4Thu15While showering, I decided to have a hobble to Arnold. This walk used to take me about one and a quarter hours to complete. (Today, it took me three hours!)

Mind you, I was not rushing and had to stop a few times, thanks to Dizzy Dennis’s visiting en route. I was well-pleased with myself.

Surprised as well! Hopefully, after the stroke. Things are beginning to improving at last? Fingers crossed!

I took some black bags to the waste chute. Got dressed for the trip out. Tea shirt and sleeveless jacket on. Took the three-wheeler trolley and the umbrella, just in case. Not that I can control this guide when using a brolly, but I can stop and shelter if needed (It wasn’t).

A call to the Porcelain Throne was answered. Unsuccessfully on this occasion. Rock-solid again! No actual movement, just some wind escaping. Ah, well!

4Thu08Down in the lift, with the trolley. No signs of any CIDP bother in the hands, arms or legs. Just the shoulder doing a bit of jiggling about now and then. Things were good!

Out of the foyer, onto Chestnut Way, over the road and up the gravel path to the park.

The day was perfect for a hobble, too. Not too hot, not a lot of bright sunshine. Getting up the footpath, needed a couple of stops, as Dizzy Dennis gave me some bother. But I put the brakes on and enjoyed the, oh, so beautiful petrichor.

4Thu08aI turned left at the top, down the trolley-wheel-grottifying, leaves, seeds, twigs and muddy walk-way.

The view across Woodthorpe grange Park to the North was beautiful. I took this picture on the left. I hadn’t felt so contented in ages.

But it didn’t last too long!

4Thu08bWD 0.0.0. By the time I had reached Mansfield Road through the park, the three-wheeler wheels were in a right state again! No wonder I’m becoming a euphobiaphile. Good-luck never stays long with me, but I enjoy it while it lasts. Mishaps, misfortune, misery and misdoings, are more my thing. Haha!

4Thu08cSo, I cleaned the wheels as best I could. Then set out North. Along Mansfield Road. The lack of traffic on the roads had me thinking for a while. Then it dawned on me, that the ankle-snappers and drug-taking, alcoholic, car-stealing teenagers were off of school for their holidays. So, I slowly made my way towards Daybrook.

4Thu08dDizzy Dennis called again to visit me. He stayed a little longer this time. But left me with no after-effects.

The weather really was perfect for a walk. Albeit a slow, rambling, interrupted one.

4Thu08eAlong by Sainsbury’s and into Arnold.

I made my way to Worall Avenue, then down to Front Street. Where I called into the Saver shop, to see if they had any of the Colgate Foam toothpaste that I have started using. Got one for 99p! And, Erasmic shaving foam, and a roll of waste bags. Then made my way to the Asda Walmart store.

I struggled to carry all I had bought to the self-serve tills. I remembered to tell the assistant of the bag I bought on Monday, that had a large slit in it. She swapped it for a new one. There was no tutting or sneering from her, then again, this wasn’t a Lidl shop. A touch of sarcasm and Lidl-bashing there, sorry!

I bought far too much stuff to fit into the bag and pathetically small basket on the three-wheeled trolley. Serves me, right! The purchases: A bag of marshmallows, fresh tomatoes, mini cheese-pickle pork pies, rice, milk, bacon fries (2 bags), jar of beetroot (A different brand, in hopes that these will not be as hard as ball-bearing, like the Asda ones I bought on 4Thu10Monday!), Sliced apples and a reduce in price triple DVD of The Men in Black.

The stomach began to grind again. I thought when I get to the bus stop, I’ll eat one of the mini pies. That may ease the tummy-twangs.

I paid up. And as I walked out through the doors into the alleyway and went over the drain covers… boy oh boy, the miasma didn’t-half pen-and-ink something rotten!

Walking up the hill to the car park, to get to the bus stop, and Dizzy Dennis gave me his last bot of the day. I had to pull-up three times on the steeper bits.

When I managed to get up to the Front Street bus stop, a lolly surprise! The old broken down bench had been replaced!

4Thu17

I took advantage, and got myself sat down. I opened the small pork & pickle pork pie pack – say that when you’ve had a few, Hehehe! Before I knew it, three of them had been consumed. Guilty-Mode-Adopted! On the bus going home to the flats, I ate another one of the pies!

As I got off the bus on Chestnut Way, the driver asked me to take some Metro papers to hand out, so I took some with me. I got off of the bus with the trolley and shopping bag, without any bother. I had a little few words with Cyndy and some other residents.

Going into the lobby, there was (I think), Gaynor, Mo, Brenda and Herbert sat there. “Would you like a Metro?” I asked each of them in order. The first three all said thanks and took one. Herbert, he just gave me a sneer and a humph, then waved me away, as he muttered something or other quietly!

I got in the flat and ate the last of the mini pork pies, as I put the kettle on. Oh, dear! So I decided not to have a meal tonight. Increased-Guilty-Mode came over me!

I got the hand-washing done, rinsed an hung up to dry. Then, I tried to do some cleaning in the kitchen, but the fatigue came over me. The stomach started to grind away again.

I got the medications taken, with an extra Senna tablet.

I settled to watch TV in unwavering faith that I would fall asleep. But no.

After a while, I got up to do the blog.

Tsk!

WD 0.30.0Ax 23:50hrs: I stirred, rather too enthusiastically really, I immediately made a grab for the walking stick, (In need of a wee-wee!) knocking over a bottle of spring water and the Pain-Gel tube, off of the Ottoman! Freed my cumbersome blobby overblown, crassulent stomached and skinny limbed body, out of the £300, c1968, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, second-hand, recliner. I kicked the empty plastic bottle on the way to the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). The bottle rebounded back as it hit the shelving, and very nearly fell into the bucket! That would have been a right good laugh. But it didn’t. Almost a worthy of printing humorous tale there in the making. Hehehe!

WD 0.30.0 I had a USUWSS (Ultra-Slow-Uncontrollable-Weak-Sprinkly) wee-wee. No control over anything again, I had to just wait for the end to come. Checking every so often to see if things had stopped flowing yet. Well, flowing is too strong a word, more sort of a scintilla of a trickle. That best describes how things went. Tsk!

I took the bucket with me to the kitchen and reviewed the handwashing hanging above the sink. As I appreciated how wet it still was, it dawned on me what the time was! I’d risen a little too early again. But, I got four hours of sleep in, so not too bad.

3Wed001bI got the kettle on, took the medications and got the sphygmomanometer from the medical drawer, and did the health checks. Very pleasing, almost perfect results this morning. Apart from the body temperature, which remains a little low, at 34.2°c. Olive oiled the ear-holes, sprayed the eyes and rubbed in some pain gel on the new unfathomable as to why pain in the lower arm. But, not to worry, these things happen. Took the Macrogol sachet in water. These don’t taste as pleasant as the Movicol ones, but they are much more effective. I’ll say…

As I was taking the tea into the computer room, I had to divert to the wet room for a Porcelain Throne session. What a blessed relief! The easiest evacuation in weeks!

3Wed01bI washed and got to the computer, and looked up this (to me) wonder-drug. I got this information: Compound Macrogol Oral Powder has electrolytes that help to maintain your body’s normal levels of sodium, potassium, and water while you are being treated for constipation and it works by softening your faeces, making it easier to pass. In general, this drug is used for the treatment of constipation, especially if you have been constipated for a long time. And boy, have I! “The faecal impaction diagnosis should be confirmed by appropriate physical or radiological examination of the rectum and abdomen”? – Side-effects: Too many to fit in my blog space! Hehe! Of course, I understood all of this advice. (Inchcock-Fib-Detected!)

2Tue21I got the computer on, and read a WordPress comment from my photographicalisational hero, Tim Price.

Who kindly gave me the story behind the Dagwood Sandwich meals, like the one one I had last night.

As he said later; Unless one is familiar with the comic, a Dagwood sandwich is meaningless. He gave this link to it:3Wed01e

Dagwood Sandwich Explained!

I delved into updating the Tuesday post. The fingers, hands, arm, shoulder, and legs were all in a good mood, and only gave me the hassle in small quantities and not very often, in fact, they were the best-behaved more than they have been for ages! But I mustn’t get too excited. Haha!

After getting the blog all finished and posted off, I treated myself to a mug of the Glegettie Best tea! The rain was coming again, and I ventured into the balcony, to take a couple of moody photographs.

I made a start on this post next. The nerve ailments all being kind to me still. The rain was still falling, but much lighter now.

3Wed01fThen for a break, I went on the TFZer Facebooking and photo galleries to update. Wat a marathon session that was! I’m tired, drained, feeling hungry (The corn flakes might get attacked next) and happier than I have been for a while.

The corn flakes; that turned out to be Honey-Nut corn flakes, they did get attacked! Hehe!

After I had taken the photograph of the rare Inchcock breakfast, the fingers began to play up again, and I inadvertently took another new picture. Ah, wellski!

I pondered on how to cook the remaining shoulder steaks. After much dilly-dallying, and humming and hawing, I opted for marinating 3Wed01gthem in black bean sauce, for a few hours. Then cook them in the oven. I added a sprinkle of mixed herbs on top of them. An experimental effort that I hope comes out alright. I’ve some freshly-podded garden peas soaking in a saucepan with a spoonful of demerara sugar in the water. A giant potato, to be chopped up and mixed with some cheese, to round off the meal. If I bite them, I’ll have some of the Asda (Walmart) ball bearings as well. Oh, I mean, beetroot. Hehe! But that’s a long way off yet.

The rains still fall, and the digits were still dancing and jumping!

So, I watched some car crash clips on YouTube while I ate the corn flakes. Ah, the luxury! I even had a rice cake to follow!

3Wed01hWashed the pots, had only the third wee-wee in over eight hours! Every one of them of the newly arrived substandard USUWSS (Ultra-Slow-Uncontrollable-Weak-Sprinkly) variety.

I went on CorelDraw to do some more graphics and Thoughts in advance.

First though, another wee-wee, of the same style, USUWSS. I think I’ve had about four watery evacuations since cleaning the bucket, and the bucket isn’t a quarter-full yet!

After the wee-wee, I went out on the balcony and took a picture of the rain outside. No window opening, I was doing so well this happy up-to-now day, I didn’t want to risk losing any chunks of any finger, to the metal spring-clip opener!

Then, I got on with serious work of graphicationalisationing! I got a couple of each completed before the fatigue, set in.

2UseI got the dinner made up and served. Cheesy potatoes with red Leicester cheese, gherkins, red and yellow tomatoes, rock-hard beetroot, fresh garden peas, and two shoulder steaks with BBQ marinade and mixed herbs.

It took a while to prepare, (and a long time to clean up afterward). But I ate it all, over a long period of time. It took some getting through. Hehe! A Flavour rating of 7.2/10 given. I thought I’d better not eat any bread, so I had a couple of the rice-cakes.

WD 0.30.0Ax As I was doing the pot washing later, all hell-let-loose with the CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). However, even at the time, I appreciated it going easy on me while I grahicationalisationing earlier. The leg seemed to be trying to do the occasional Locomotion, Hokey-Cokey and Tango dancing! The shoulder was keeping the beat, rhyme with the pin! The finger-ends alternated twixt no feelings and electric shock-like jumping. The arm shooting about was uninterested in joining in, this time.

WD 0.30.0 Over about a ten-minute period, I dropped and broke the blue cereal bowl, sent the washing up sponge-stick flying, let the washing-up liquid bottle slip through my fingers, and lost and nearly fell over the walking stick! There might have been other mishaps, but this is all I can recall at the time of typing this! It was a long time this attack. I actually felt tired-out when it finished. But I wasn’t down about it, after all, the earlier parts of the day, the nerves were most gentle with me, really.

WD 0.30.0 No handwashing was done, too weary, it would have to wait. I was convinced that once settled down, I would easily nod-off. But, no! After two hours of Colin Cramps and a new tummy upset stabbing at me, I got up again, and made a brew, a few swigs of the antacid medicine, and then made a start on updating this blog. Humph!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 30th July 2019: The dysphoric moments were rarer today. Yee-Ha!

Tuesday 30th July 2019

Croatian: Utorak, 30 Srpnja 2019

02:30hrs. I woke, hearing the oddest submarine sonar rebounding sounds! The noise seemed to be everywhere around me? I got the hearing aids in to listen, but they had to come out sharpish, as the noise modulations seemed an exact replica; not that I’ve ever been on an unterseeboot of course, I judged this on the films I’ve seen, they almost hurt my eardrums! The pitch or intonations were annoying, not loud, though, at all.

Confused, I had to get up and investigate. Nae bothers, in my extraction of the bulbously obese stomach and thin, scrawny limbs from the £300, second-hand, rickety recliner. Or in getting my balance and standing upright. (This was lovely to experience, but worrying, it was so unnatural). No demands from the innards for a wee-wee either! I had a poddle around searching for the source of the abnormal sound, as it slowly seemed to dissipate into the ether as I hobbled from room to room. Another 72 Woodthorpe Court, Unsolved mystery!

WD 64.0.64. As luck would have it, (Yes, even I get some sometimes! Hehehe!) I was right next to the wet room door in the mini-hallway, when things began to move evacuationally, of their own accord inside… I made it, but only just, to the Porcelain Throne in time! What an absolute pleasure to free things without any hard pushing! It still hurt though, but not as much as it has been doing. Those Macrogol chrystals seem to have worked a treat! (You watch now, I’ll get diarrhoea next! Hahaha!)

2Tue04Cleaned things and me up, first time for a messy session in ages.

I got the kettle on, and the handwashing checked, still far to damp to move them.

Come think of it, it was feeling almost cold this morning. I checked the thermometer, it showed 2Tue03a healthy 25°c – 74°f,

I did the health checks, not quite as good this morning. I think that the Blood Pressure was a little higher than it has been recently. Sys 14, Dia 130, the pulse was okay at 72. The body temperature was a lowly 33.9°c, well I thought that at first. So using the format given to me by 2Tue06Tim Price on the calculator, of course, it seems that this is 93.02°c? So, maybe I got a little confused again? Ahem!

Checked the emails, and a friend in the flats had asked me; if I was having a Morrison order coming, to get certain foods that were on offer. I emailed back, no problem. I got onto the computer and low and behold, they had none in stock! So, I’ll order some later for her. Sent an email again, explaining the situation.

Life is always messy, innit? Haha!

WD 64.0.64. I got the Computer on – and more Windows updates came in! Then, as I started working on the updating process…

Virg 64.0.64.

2Tue03aI got the Monday post finished in a reasonable time. The fingers, hands, arm, and leg were all being kind to me, not a lot of jerking, jumping and dancing. Only the shoulder shakes were of any real bother. A worrying few mini-dizzy-spells, though.

I checked on a different site for the week’s weather. Precipitation for today was given as 100%, with thunder. The remaining days showed as far less rain. We’ll see!

2Tue05I went to make a brew of tea, and the clouds in the sky certainly, visually, backed up the forecast on the site.

I must not forget to call in the Sherwood Health Centre on the way out and get an appointment made for my toes to be clipped, as the receptionist told me to. By golly, the nails on the hand and feet grow so quickly now, after the stroke. I wonder why?

Ah, well, time to get the ablutions done. Back later, folks.

WD 64.0.64. A All done and dusted. The teggies were done. Shave completed with only two tiny nicks. The shower was taken, only dropping the soap once, and the showerhead, once. The drying off went Whoopsiedangleplop-free! The sock-glide was battled, and no Accifauxpas involved! Bit of a Fauxpa with the eye spray, I dropped it twice. The ointment for  Haemorrhoid Harold was lost just the once… but, the darned leg did a bit a few seconds of a Tango, crossed with the Stomp, and I trod on the tube on the floor while I was retrieving it. (The usual bad-timing, Haha!) Which now needs a replacement! Ah, well!

I took the sorted black bags to the chute and returned to gather the requirements for the trip to Asda to get the rest of the shopping, that I couldn’t carry yesterday. But, with the INR Nurse not calling this week, at least I have the time go today.5Fri006

The plan was to go out about 08:24hrs, this would, or should give my time to have a hobble up trough the park, and through the twitchel, and down to and along Elmswood Gardens to the Health Centre. Then get the appointment time to the next nail-clipping session. But as per normal… Humph and Angermaking Fiddlesticks!

2Tue08I got Out, over Chestnut Way, pausing to take in the beautiful clump of trees at the bottom of the hill. Then, up the gravel footpath to the park, alright. Also, through the ginnel, stopping to take a photographicalisation of the fantastic view that greeted me at the end of the alley.

Down and right along to the end of Elmswood Drive. I admired the flowers en route to the Sherwood Health Centre.

WD 64.0.64. A most curious, but I hope curiously, an unusual event happened then. I was watching some little black and red insects, who were buzzing around some pink flowers on the garden hedge. And I actually watched closely while on the whatever-they-were, stung me on my right index-finger-end. And felt nothing! No pain whatsoever. The bite or sting-thing was swelling up and turned bright red! Only a tiny area mind, about the size of the pinhead. I haven’t felt any discomfort at all. Hence, this is the first time I’ve found a benefit of being diagnosed with the CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy and Peripheral neuralgia) The nerve damage must have failed to get the message to the brain, that I’d just been stung? There is probably a more logical answer, but I like mine better. Hahaha! I must remember to ask my mate, Lynton Cox what he thinks. He’s a bit of a genius on these things.

For a minute or so, I thought I saw it throbbing. By the time I’d got to the clinic, about five minutes, I’d forgotten all about being bitten. Hehehe!

WD 64.0.64. I got in the centre and to the receptionist, the same one who told me to call back this week. I gave her my NHS details. She rang the departed needed and spoke for a good while. I could not hear what was being said until she finished and came to the counter window. To tell me they have not made up the lists yet. “If you call again in two weeks, I can make you an appointment!” Precisely the same statement she made two weeks ago, that was why I was there! Hey-ho! I thanked her (again), and left, feeling a little less hopeful this time. I walked into Sherwood, with plenty of time to kill, before I could use the bus pass. So, being a tight-wad, I had a walk around the shops.

I called in the Co-op and bought a pack of salt & vinegar rice cakes and a packet of fresh garden peas. As I meandered around, I bumped into Welsh William a few times. He was doing the same as me, killing until he could use his free-bus-pass. Well!

2Tue12WD 64.0.64. When I got to the bus stop on the other side of the road, a naughty, ignorant git of a Pavement Cyclist came flying down the hill on the footpath.

He was that quick, I only just caught a glimpse of him on the picture. He’d just rounded the block on the mobile, then Welsh William (with the carrier bag) and was gone! Swine!

I met some of the clan from the flats and had a word with some, then the 58 bus I needed, arrived. It got Arnold very quickly, and so I had time to get the shopping in a slightly more relaxed manner. I utilised the shopping list and didn’t get anything that was not on it! Smug-Mode-Adopted! I used the regular checkout and bought Milk, beetroot, gherkins, Cheesy curls, lollies, rice cakes and a milk roll sliced loaf.

I struggled a bit packing the trolley and bag. So much so that I thought I might miss the bus after all! But no, I got to the bus stop, and within a minute the L9 arrived.

A gloriously sunny day, no signs of the promised rain yet. Back at Winwood Heights, I got home ASAP from the bus and got the fodder put away.

Got the kettle on and oven warming to use later and podded the garden peas and got them into the saucepan. Then went on the balcony and took some photographs of Chestnut Way.

While I had the camera in hand, I then took some pictures from different angles than usual. Of the residencies, a little more zoomed-in. I hope you like them.

I started to do the updating of this blog next. With so many photographicalisations, it took me hours to get this far.

When I went to make a mug of tea, boy, what a change in the weather from earlier. The heavens opened up!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I opened a window that didn’t claim any chinks of finger flesh this time. And took two shots to try and capture the falling drops of rain.

2Tue19

2Tue15fAn hour later, and things had changed back again!

I was gob-smacked at this.

I wonder if it will revert again to the rain and go dark once more?

I am something of a pluviophile (someone who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days).
I got the nosh going, while I did some more updating.

2Tue21Took the medications. Cooking finished.

The result, a nectarous, finger-licking, tasty plate of fodder! I believe this would be called a dogwood sandwich in New Mexico. (Thanks, Tim Price). A well-worth-it Flavour rating of 8/10. Had the Asda (Walmart) baby beetroots been a little less like ball-bearings in texture, it would have been a higher score! Tsk!

I got the handwashing done, rinsed and left hanging to dry. A bit like Theresa May, really!

2Tue22As I got myself settled to watch some TV and got the pins up on the chair. I remembered that I had forgotten to tell Dr Vindla about the legs differing sizes.

The nerve-damaged right leg, was positively thinner, and the flesh much softer, but the scars, papsules and unidentified blotches had gotten much fainter?

The eyelids grew heavier.

Zzzz!

Inchcock Today – Mon 29 July 19: Visited the Doctor. Desticating for most of the day. Hehe!

2019 July 29

2019 July 29

Monday 29th July 2019

Mongolian: 2019 оны 7-р сарын 29, Даваа гараг

02:00hrs. I woke in need of what I believed was an urgent wee-wee! Out of the rickety, £300, second-hand, unsightly, frayed, grotty-beige coloured recliner, got up, caught my balance and utilised the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). It felt cold this morning, proper nippy.

Where I remained for a while, doing my best to encourage and force the strenuous LRWSS (Long-Reluctant-Weak-Stinging-Sprinkly) wee-wee to evacuate. The thoughts meantime, were of the Doctors visit, take the list of questions to ask with me. If I get a prescription for the Bisoprolol beta-blockers and or Mivicon, I must fetch them straight away from the Carrington Pharmacy chemist. Get bread, tomatoes, milk and yoghourt from Lidl.

When the evacuation eventually stopped, not that much flowed, well, stingingly sprinkled, I had a rinse and got the soaking handwash from last night, onto the airer.

I got the health checks, Sys 145, Dia 54, Pulse 88, and Temperature 34.1°c done.

I got the clothing etc. put in the wet room, ready for the wash and shave later on. No photographicalisationing yet, as I wanted to make a start on the blogs, as going out will leave me little time later on to catch-up. So, I did! I finalised and sent off the Sunday Inchcock Today.

Then, made a start on this post up to here. Next, I went on the WordPress Reader section. Then, the flipping hands, fingers and shoulders kicked off, and the errors, cock-ups and shaking, and never-ending correcting of mistakes, began! At least they allowed me to do yesterdays blog without hindrance.

1Mon03I went on to create some templates in advance (Although only two, but still, better than none) Hehe!

I stopped for a breather from the limbs hassle and went to the kitchen to make another mug of tea, to replace the one on the computer desk, that had gone cold and uninviting in the extreme. Haha!

I got the camera and took some terribly crude photographs from the new unwanted, thick-famed, light and view-blocking windows, that the panes cannot be reached for cleaning.

I took several shots, in different modes, but these are the only two that came out anything like acceptable. The shaking hands were not to blame totally. I used the left-hand to operate the camera on these two. Not as good as they should be, but still! I even cleaned the lens with the very costly Lenspen and brush, but it made no difference. Blurry results. I Did my bestest.

I had a go at updating the Facebook photographs. Had to rush it though, it’ll soon be time to get the ablutions tended to. Must leave at 08:00hrs and no later, to make it to the doctors on time. I didn’t like rushing about but did enjoy doing that.

WD 0.128.100 Windows updates arrived, so I left them running. Off to the wet room to get the ablutions done. Dressed, made up the nurses nibbles, into the three-wheeler. Took the waste bags to the chute. The updates were still running! All spruced up, and I was off on a hobble to Carrington and the Sherrington Park Medical Practice!

1Mon07Outside and walking along Chestnut Way, I took this snap of Windwood and Winchester Courts. As you can see in the picture, the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights, Oberstess Wardens Temporary HQ. WC, Holding cells. Rumourmongering Clinic. Sarcasm & Insult distribution area. Tenants Socialisationalistic Area. Telling Inchcock off Zone. Crockery and pottery to be stolen from location, and residents porta-cabin is still there and in use. At the end of the road, Obersturmfhreress and Ex-Relfux magazine model, Deana was arriving at work, we exchange pleasantries. I asked it was this week when they move into the new building at Winwood Court. She thinks it will be next week sometime. I hope to be able to get to the opening ceremony.

1Mon07aAs I turned right onto Winchester Street, the fruits were well-advanced. Likely they had been encouraged by yesterday’s rain, perhaps, maybe… or not.

WD 0.128.100 The white van was still parked on the kerb, meaning I had to walk on the road again. I think it was the same one as last week, in fact, it looked like it had not moved at all. Should I report it? It could be a stolen vehicle? But the idea became a velleity, as often happens with me and my ideas, plans and thoughts. Huh!

I went down the hill at a swift rate of knots. Mainly because I could not control the three-wheeler, with the brakes being so abysmal. Hahaha!

Walking up the hill on Mansfield Road, I thought some more shops had closed down on both sides of the road.

1Mon08

1Mon09The pace slowed a bit as I a got to the hilltop, picked up again as I almost lost control of the trolley a couple of times. No doubt about it, this trolley doesn’t like going downhill at all!

AS I got down into Carrington, on flatter land, after checking the time on my second-hand £2 watch, and seeing I had the time to spare, I took a breather for a few minutes.

1Mon09aWD 0.128.100 I’m glad I did. Some of the most beautiful flowers in a garden nearby almost spoke to me! I certainly chatted to them. Which drew a look in my direction from the postman who appeared from the house, that said: “Gawd, it’s always me who meet the loony who needs the attention of the men in white coats!” Hehehe!

Down the hill and into the surgery. A lady was in front of me, and she seemed agitated and or confused over something. I gave her a warm, friendly smile, by way of saying, “No problem, I’m not in a rush!” While the receptionist was helping the lady, I drew away so as not to hear too much, and on the reception counter at the end, a handwritten sign explained: With the closure of XXXXX medical practise, we are busier than ever and ask for your patience… etc. Someone had written on the top leaflet; “I noticed!” Hahaha!

I got seated with the trolley in front of me and had a bash at the crossword book. You see, I am learning little ways to limit the effects of the neuralgia a bit. I cannot hold the text in the right hand when it starts shaking, which it was doing on and off at that moment. But, however, nevertheless, regardless, all the same, and with that being said, I automatically parked the three-wheeler where I did, so I could rest on the handlebars. Clever stuff, eh? Alright, it’s not then! Humph! I did rather well on the puzzles this morning. It was a while before I was summoned by Doctor Vindla to her treatment room, which gave me more time to show off my puzzle-solving skills… only to myself, of course. It is sad, innit? Cackle! Titter! I asked the lady if I could have the sample tubes for next week, and busy as she was, she got me some.

I got seated and started with the medications not being delivered and how and why the shaking limbs made me run out of Bisoprolol and had to go two days without any! She kept her stone face on, so I don’t know what she thought.

I also mentioned my problem evacuating on the Porcelain Throne. That cracked her face into a brief but definite smile!

She looked a little sideways at me when she read my notes; Movicon? I haven’t issued you any! “No, the stroke ward gave me some and let me take some home, telling me that as long as it stayed in date, I could take two a day, only if needed!” No hesitation, she sent the prescriptions for both through to the Pharmacy.

Lona, then took my blood pressure and other tests, while I was telling of the problems with the neuralgia. It worried me a little, when she said; “Neuralgia?” She went on to the computer. It seems I have CIDP: Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy, as well? She wanted to know who had told me I had Peripheral Neugalgia? I could only say the two nurses who saw me at the clinic, no names remembered. I mentioned my depression and anxiety, no feedback, other than how often to you feel like that. I thanked her and out to give the receptionist a bag of nibbles to share out.

Then over the road and down into Carrington and the chemist.

WD 0.128.100 A sombre sight indeed. The paper shop had closed down on Mansfield Road! A grand chap as well! So sad. I suppose that with Lidl now selling papers, it was too much for him to compete with.

I went into the Pharmacy and told them of the prescriptions. The three of them got together in the back, giving me odd looks for ages. Then they came forward and asked me if I’d been to the Doctors this morning. Me answering, “No, I’ve been to the cobblers!”, didn’t help things much! They gathered again, and whisperings took place, with the suspicious looks given in my direction a few times. Finally, at last, ‘the one who I call ‘El Snotty’, brought a big bag containing he said, the Movicon and Beta-blockers. I couldn’t help it, I said; Now you can be late again, without worrying next time! He made out not to hear me, or perhaps he really couldn’t, who knows. He said something else, and it was my turn not to listen to him. I sillily thanked him and left. I only went a few paces, then I returned to ask what it was he said to me as I left. Gushing now, he said something that took four times as long as the original talking did. But, it was good, he showed patience and compassion. Again I thanked them all and gave the girl some nibbles.

WD 0.128.100 Off to the Lidl shop down the road. I got to the self-serve checkout with Golden blush tomatoes, Scarlet tomatoes, a can of peas, Bavarian smoked ham, Mackerel fillets for Josie at the weekend (bags of life on it), Crispy bacon, brown Stotties, and some shoulder steaks for tonight’s nosh1Mon10I’ll do them in the slow cooker! I had to buy a carrier bag, I’d left the one I purchased at Asda in the four-wheeler trolley (Humph!) An assistant helped me pack the cart and bag! But the card would not be accepted on swipe! As luck would have it, I remembered the number and put it in, and it worked. I hope I will not be charged the £12.17 four times!

I caught a bus up to Sherwood, where I remembered to go in Wilko, to see if they had any of the Gorilla tapes, so I could mend the flap top that had come unstitched after I had three-wheeler for three days! They also had the £3  fragrance I like on offer at £8, not £12! Too good to miss, I got three of them as well. This caused problems, carrying-wise, I had to buy another bag! So, I had a carrier on each handle then, Tsk! Fool! As I left the store, an ignorant git of a pavement cyclist shot down the hill, weaving through the few pedestrians about, but he found them. Grr!

1Mon11

As I limped painfully up Mansfield Road, on my way home through the Woodthorpe Grange Park, I bumped into Jenny and Frank going into Sherwood, from the park. I was 1Mon12not in a good state, but I was so glad to see them both. Looking good too! Yee-Haa!

Up over the top of the hill and down to the park gates. I took a snap of the three-wheeler as I entered the park footpath. (Note the state of the wheels, clean!)

They soon got all muddied up with seeds, 1Mon13leaves and grass. In fact, it has hard to push the trolley with all the gunk on the wheels!

WD 0.128.100 A Sterling Moss enamoured Nottinghamian Footpath Cyclist came down the incline at such speed, I felt the draughts as he flew by me! By the time I’d stopped and got the camera out, he was nearly at the gates at the bottom of the pat1Mon14h!

At the top of the hill, I turned right to go down the gravel footpath back to the flats.

You can see here, and guess what a time I had having to clean the flaming wheels before I dare enter the foyer of Woodthorpe Court entrance.

1Mon15WD 0.128.100 I wanted to cry, really. Heheh! It took me ages, back pain, a dizzy-spell and a whole roll of kitchen towels to get the thing clean enough to enter the place. Then I had to avoid the trails of the stuff I had just cleaned off of my trolley, on my way to the flat!

But, I was glad I cleaned it first.

1Mon16

The Movicol turned out to be called Macrogol? But what I could read of the ingredients, they were very similar to each other.

I emptied everything out of the bags. How I managed to get this lot home with the trolley, amazed even me! Haha! I got the shoulder cooking straight away in the crock-pot. Then got the fodder etc. stored away. (No signs of any wee-wees needed!)

1Mon30I spent three hours updating this blog. Then got the nosh prepared and served up!

Oh, dearie me, not onw of my bestest efforts at all! The cooked beetroot was okay. A taste rating of 4/10 for everything else.

Did the washing up, then got te handwashing done. Left it hanging to dry.

Settled to watch a Creek episode on DVD.

Then to watch TV. Zzzz!

Inchcock Today – Sunday 28th July 2019: An enigmatic day!

2019 July 28

2019 July 28

Sunday 28th July 2019

Afrikaans: Sondag 28 Julie 2019

03:05hrs. I woke, smiling to myself, the thoughts of a dream I’d had lingering, but slowly fading away. A cracker of a nocturnal phantasma, judging by what I could recall. I was on the balcony, and in from the flat, walked a lady of appealing features. Somehow or other, we were chatting and dancing away in what seemed a dancehall! Sometimes, although infrequently, dreams can be good, and this was one of them!

I moved in an effort to extract my plump, short, wobbly body from the second-hand, £300, c1968 recliner. I recognised and appreciated the lack of many of the ailments, that were not playing me up! Of course, the EQ had to let me know that this situation would not last for too long! It was right, as usual. Huh!

WD 0.0.0. I caught my balance, and off the few paces to the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). While I waited patiently for the surprising LLP (Long-Lasting-Powerfull) wee-wee to stop, I had a Mind-Maze-Medley of silly, futile, blood-curdling, daunting and unnerving thoughts attacked what little-bit of harmony I had gained from the supercalifragilisticexpialidociously enjoyable dream. What didn’t pass through the grey-cells while I was waiting for the longest-lasting ever wee-wee to end, would be easier to list than those that did! I was not sure if it was the physical effort, (although it did it all on its own), or the thoughts-storm, but I felt drained afterwards. Humph! (Drained, I wrote that without thinking, I should have typed worn-out. Haha!)

WD 0.0.0. I hobbled to the kitchen and got the kettle on. Then needed another wee-wee. Back to the bucket, and realised it was too full to risk using it again. So took it to the wet room and emptied and cleaned it, and used the WC. Which with this effort being of the PS (Persistent-Spraying) wee-wee mode, needed some cleaning up of the over-spray. Tsk! Al sorted, and off to the kitchen.

7Sun01WD 0.0.0.A2 I opened the new unwanted thick-framed, light & view-blocking kitchen window, to take a snap of the morning view. And had to rush a bit, as the rain poured in over me! Hehe! As I was taking the cap off of the milk carton (the finger-ends are becoming unaware of contact made again, now), I dropped the cap and nearly fell over the stick as the hand lost its grip at just the wrong time, as I was bending down to pick up the lid! Ah, well, mustn’t complain after yesterday’s far easier polyneuropathy-hassle day.

7Sun02Then got the kettle on and got the morning medications out ready. I still can’t get used to taking so few tablets now they have cut them down.

Got the health checks done. Another highly acceptable set of results. The temperature was a little low, but not much, at 34.5°c.

It was a far nippier this morning. So I took the tea to the computer and had a look at the forecast on Google.

7Sun07

So, rain all day, the temperature creeping up, and a chance of a storm. Mmm!

I created a graphic or two for today’s page-top and Thoughts, then began updating the Saturday blog. I make it sound so casual a thing, but it took me over two hours just to do the graphicalisationing (this included stopping for three wee-wees of varying types). And the fingers were beginning to dance about, then the shoulder joined in. Ah, well, at least the arm and leg are being calm for me. Duodenal Duncan, Shaking Shaun, Anne Gyna, Reflux Roger, Arthur Itis, Colin Cramps and Kevin Kidneypains are no bother. Even Back-Pain-Brenda too! Got things finished and posted off.

7Sun10Made a start on this post, and needed a leak. Another of the LLP (Long-Lasting-Powerfull) wee-wees. Then went to make another brew.

It was looking bleak outside! Mind you, it was a little bleak inside the flat, then! As I got the things needed out for making Josie’s nosh later, the fingers Axonotmesi inspired insensitivity, caused me to drop the spoon twice and the walking stick again! How I managed to take this photo, amazed me. I rested the camera on the ledge, and used the left hand only to take the shot! Smug-Mode-Adopted!

I opted to have a drink of the spring water instead of struggling to make a brew. As I returned to the computer, I opened the tatty-torn, moth-eaten curtains on the balcony, and the rain was really giving us some hammer! I took a shot of the view without opening a window of course. I value my fingers too much to keep opening the metal spring clip opener that needs pushing and pulling at the same time and has had a few chunks of my fingers already. I noticed that some poor devil was having their roof repaired or replaced, and did a zoomed-in photo of the house. I bet they have a few leaks!

7Sun16

7Sun11I got the ablutions tended to next, as it was nearly eight o’clock. The legs looked far improved and had lost a lot of water retention.

Did the teggies. Shaved without suffering any cuts. Showered without dropping the soap (Fair enough, I did drop the facecloth). Body sprayed.

To the kitchen. Olive oiled the ears. Made a brew, and went on the WordPress Reader section. Then onto CorelDraw, for another try to get some graphics done in advance. I haven’t much time, as I will soon have to get Josie’s meal preparation, to make sure it is ready for a midday delivery.

After another long, slowly productive session with the graphics, I prepared and delivered the meal. I explained about the cheesy potatoes, I may have put a bit too much butter in them, but they will go down smoothly. The balsamic vinegar in the peas and the types of tomatoes used. Josie was looking much betterer today.

7Sun34bBack to sort my nosh out. Peas in balsamic vinegar, gherkins, tomatoes, crispy edges of cheesy potato, franks and bacon juice chips (fries).

It was I fear, a failure, taste-wise. The Franks were uneatable after one slice was. I don’t know why, but they tasted a bit stale, so they went into the bin. The tomatoes were bland in the extreme. The gherkins, potato skin, peas, and chips were all eaten up, with a couple of slices of Milk loaf bread. Flavour Rating: (Of what I ate; 7/10 – the rest, 2/10).

Washed up and settled to watch a Creek DVD, until Josie returned the things, I stayed dressed. I don’t want to scare her. Hehe!

Josie returned the tray, plate and cutlery, all washed. We had a little natter. I was so glad when she said she enjoyed the nosh. I get pleasure from being able to do something for her.

Then I got the handwashing done. A little more effort required tonight, as I had put on a thick long-sleeved shirt, as it was a bit nippier today. Rinsing and ringing out took ages. I left the shirt hanging to dry, but it will take a while, to dry enough to put it on the airer, in the morning at earliest.

Settled to watch cat correction thingy programmes on TV. But only as an aid to getting to sleep, as I had seen this episode before. The mind churned: I realised that the urine sample would not be needed on tomorrows visit to the surgery, after all, got up and moved it from where I’d left it in view, back in the medical drawer. Got the list of things to mention to the Doctor put in sight.

I had a very odd and quirky wee-wee. No definition for this one yet, as it was the first time ever type. SWGSS (Short-Weak-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) wee-wee mode?

The mind toyed with what needs doing and the reasons why they will not get done. Tsk!

Zzzz!

Inchcock Today – Saturday 27th July 2019: Thought-provoking times, but I prevailed! Hehe!

2019 July 27

Saturday 27th July 2019

Swedish: Lördagen 27 Juli 2019

03:30hrs: I woke up, with last night’s depression and self-pitying gone. I might not have been over-the-moon or in seventh heaven. But the marked difference in my outlook, was indeed welcome, no matter that it was incomprehensible to me. Nothing had changed.

As I extracted my bulbous, short, plump body from the embracing clutches of the £300, c1968, second-hand, grotty-beige coloured recliner, I became aware of the urgent need for the Porcelain Throne! So, I got the stick and made my way hastily to the wet room. It seemed Mivicol had done it works at last?

WD 125.0.0 Oh, what a mess! The quickest evacuation in weeks. But it was a harrowing, painful and sanguinary affair, in the extreme! Definitely, something to mention to the Doctor on Monday’s visit. Taradiddle thoughts passed through my mind, as I pondered on the probable causes of the off-colour and haemoglobin that flowed. Later, I added this incident to the notes to take with me to the surgery. I’m not going to be popular with Dr Vindla! Oh, dear! More work for the woman! “Please note, I did not go into detail, as requested by dozens of my mass of readers. Both of them! Hahaha!”

5Sat01The stomach was bloated a lot. But the legs looked far better, this morning. They were both of the same size, water retention-wise. A rarity that! Haha!

Off to the kitchen to take the medications, do the health checks, then made a mug of refreshing Glengettie tea.

GC June 14e

The sphygmomanometer worked the first time! And the readings were fine again! Things seem to be going well, apart from the disagreeable evacuation of course.

The Polyneuropathy was not too much bother at all, only the fingers and shoulder any bother, and they were easily copeable with!  Up to know! I haven’t walked into anything or dropped a single item! The wee-weeing count is only one! I hope this pleasant aberrationalness lasts! I just took a senna with the regular medications, no Movicol. I didn’t know if I should or not, but I don’t want to go back to the blockages again if I can help it.

I got on with updating the Friday blog. It was a lot easier and quicker to do, with Peripheral Neuralgia being so kind to me. Only the shoulder really gave me any hassle worth mentioning.

IMG_1082WD 125.0.0.a Before moving on to doing the graphics needed, I moved the handwashing onto the stand-up airer. What a comical farce that turned out to be! And I can’t blame any shaking or dancing limbs, just me!

That might be why I found myself laughing as it happened!

  • I got the first t-shirt on the lower part, turned to get the grey shirt. And the white one fell on the floor.
  • Picked it up and had them both in position.
  • Turning to walk away, I then dropped my walking stick.
  • Which fell through the bars, knocking off both shirts!
  • I foolishly put them both back on and reached for the stick which had ended up behind the airer.
  • Knocking the grey shirt off again as I retrieved it!
  • Put the grey shirt back on, and gingerly retreated! Hahaha!

I fetched the camera and took this photo as memorabilia of a single incident, that had me laughing to myself. Now if this had happened during yesterdays depression, I think my reactions would have been a little more agitational. But not today, I had a quiet blithesome giggle to myself, again. Hehe!

No sign of the promised rain yet outside. While I had the camera in hand, I took a picture through the balcony windows and a couple from the kitchen’s unwanted windows.

I got the graphics done and started the updating of this post.

I had to go onto CoralDraw to make some advanced page top and Thoughts graphics next, but not before I made a brew, checked the weather and had another Porcelain Throne visit.

I realised how late it was as I sat on the Throne, and decided to change plans afterwards, and get the ablutions done. The evacuation, well, the Movicol had done its job well! Phwoar! The aroma I had to do my ablutions alongside! What next? A visit from Diahorrea Duncan?

Popped to try and see Josie, she answered. Going out with her sister today, so lunch will be wanted tomorrow at 12:00hrs. Wished her a good day, and returned to make the brew.

Then I went on to CorelDraw, for a massive, but gigantic wearying session, of hours in length, graphicalisationing.

6Sat03aStopped to make a brew of tea, and boy, was it was raining. Not a storm of any sort, just persistent rain. The hand and fingers started kicking-off again, and I dropped the mug of tea on the kitchen floor. Still, the leg was not doing any dancing at all today?

WD 125.0.0.a I now believe in miracles! The cup didn’t break or even chip! Cleaned the mess up, and made another one.

6Sat04I went onto the balcony for a few minutes and spotted two incoming visitors, I expect. They parked up and made their way to the flats along Chestnut Way in the rain. I was so happy to see the gentleman sharing his umbrella with his other half.

Oh, he wasn’t. Hehehe!

Back to the computerisationing. But the fatigue was setting in, and fodder needed making to satisfy the innards, so I only planned to work for another hour or so. Even though I needed lots more graphics that needed doing. I only got one template finished.

6Sat29Got the nosh prepared, and served up.

I made far too much, due to not knowing if Josie needed a meal today or tomorrow, I got the spuds on the boil earlier. And it would have been a sin not to eat those lovely boiled spuds mashed with celery salt and loaded with mature cheese!

I ate the lot! Contents: Boiled until overcooked potatoes, mashed up Extra-Strong Mature cheddar cheese with celery salt, then browned off in the oven to make the edges crispy brown. Garden peas warmed slowly with balsamic vinegar. Four different varieties of mini tomatoes. Tuna chunks in brine. Pickled gherkins. Cooked beetroot. Some bits of red pepper. Taste Appraisal: 9/10!

Washed the pots, then me. Did the hand wash, and left them in soak. Settled to watch an episode of Hettie Wainthrope on the TV. Fell asleep!

Woke with Colin Cramps in the left foot, and the hand. He stayed for ages.

No chance of nodding off, I got up and rinsed the washing and got it on the airer.

It took me ages to get back to sleep. Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Fri 26 July 2019: A day of flummadiddle and discountenancing thoughts

2019 July 25

2019 July 26

Friday 26th July 2019

Welsh: Dydd Gwener 26 Gorffennaf 2019

01:30hrs. I stirred, with a limited degree of enthusiasm lingering, and desperately waiting for some concentration and logicality to join me. I gave up, anticipating that some form of cogency or other, may arrive later. The need for a wee-wee came, and the grey bucket at the side of the £300, second-hand, c1968, gungy-beige coloured, tatty recliner, was utilised. A sad affair, a WYSAO (Weak-Yet-Spraying-All-Over) wee-wee.

5Fri003a

The right leg, had a few more tiny blotches and spots, some almost pretty new papsules. The ankle-ulcer seemed to be desirous of erupting again, judging by the newish looking orangey-red centre of it showing up. The lumps and bone bulges had changed shape a bit. It was far skinnier than it has been for a while, much thinner than the left leg.

My balance was good this morning, mainly because the right leg was not interested in doing any of its Hokey-Cokey and Stomping dancing. I was very grateful for this! The fingers were in an electric-touch-jumping mode, though! (Bad!) The shoulder was in shake & nudge way, but the hand and arm were taking a breather for me, which I hoped would mean less dropping and losing grip on and of stuff, For now anyway. Overall, in the Neurotmesis, Axonotmesis, Diabetic Polyneuropathy, and Peripheral Neuralgia areas, things were not too bad. (Give them time, they’ll soon start again, Hehehe!)

Writing this, reminded, me to check on the dates of the appointments with Mr Adamczyk and Dr Nishapuri.

5Fri004Off to the kitchen, put the kettle on, and got the handwashing onto the drying frame.

The HC results surprised me at the near-perfect results. I am no medical expert by any stretch of the imagination, but after two days of missed beta-blockers, I expected some change in the readings, but not so. Brilliant… I think. Hehe!

With the medications, I wasn’t sure if I should take another Senna or not; after taking the Movicol last night, and another this morning. No sooner had I thought, “I’ll see how the Porcelain Throne session goes later” than I needed to visit the wet room for a heavy-duty evacuation. With a certain amount of trepidation, I settled on the throne, and reached for the crossword book – but did not have time to use it! The activity began almost immediately. The same pain as usual (7/10), but the motions began far quicker than of late, and took less time, thus, less agony! Oh, good! A sanguinary affair, mind. After thinking and pondering, I decided not to swallow a Senna, but have another Movicol this afternoon. (If I remember too!)

I made another brew, then started updating the miserable starting, and humorous ending Thursday post. After checking links, I got it sent off to WordPress and emailed.

With all the hassle I’ve had over the prescriptions, I had got behind with the Facebooking. So, I had a go at catching up. I spent a few hours on the TFZer pages, then made a fresh brew and went to check the emails.

Accifauxpas GCWD 120.60.0a I started the ablutionalisationing. I had an excellent clean-up and an enjoyable shower. Three little cuts when shaving. Stubbed the toe against the WC seat-riser’s metal leg, and clouted my elbow against the hand-rail, when I bent down to pick up the tablet of soap I had dropped. The nerve-end problem affected right-hand, is getting more and more weak, ham-fisted and maladroit. I have a5Fri006 large jar of pickled mushrooms in the fridge, but can’t open it! I’ve tried the rubber-gripper thing, but I can’t manage it. Humph!

I put the long socks on this morning. For the comfort, they are snug and cool-wearing, although it might not look it. If nothing else, they cover-up the potmarks and injuries. Hehe!

5Fri005I just had to take this photograph of the clouds outside, it was was attractive and beautiful. To me, anyway. It looked a little like it might rain. So, I checked on Google to see what the forecast was for today.

A wet week for we Nottinghamian’s?

5Fri007a

I took the bags and put them down the waste chute, and waited at the lift lobby for what seemed an eternity, for one to arrived. One elevator on the 7th floor for over ten-minutes. But the other eventually came, with plenty of people who had the same or similar wait getting on, on the way down. Cindy and Eric, from the fifteenth floor, had a heck of a job getting down!

2Tue11a

It was cooler when I got outside, but nothing like cold.

I hobbled down to the bus stop. I gang of residents in attendance, and more joined us. There were plenty of chinwagging going on. When Malcolm arrived with his grandkids in toe, galavanting all around, it livened things up a little. Ah, the energy of youth!

The City-bound bus arrived first, and about six of our gang got on. When the Bestwood L9 came, the clan allowed me on first! I settled in a side-saddle seat, with trolley folded. And had the pleasure of greeting the gang as they got on. Another natter on the way down the hill. Caroline was on the bus too. She dropped off at the Daybrook Sainsbury’s shop. She told she had had an invite to the opening of the Winwood Court ceremony. TV and Radio Nottingham, and photographers from the local rag would also be there! I was going to have a walk around with Mary, but she got off first in Arnold, but she was well gone by the time I got off the bus.

5Fri007So, I went into the Asda (Walmart) same as yesterday. I could not carry everything in one trip. Poor old thing! I got some more of the bacon-juice baked chips, a 3-pack of custard and fruit pots, and some more rice on special offer. Oh, and some nibbles for the Social hand-outs. I could not see any of the Gorilla tapes. I spent too long searching, and by the time I struggled, as others were doing, at the self serve tills, which played-up on everyone, I paid and got out, I had to go as fast as I could to the bus stop in time.

5Fri007aThe L9 arrived about two minutes later! Phew!

The bus was well packed and extremely noisy on the way home. Which meant I could not eavesdrop on any conversations. Hahaha!

Angie, Roy and Betty got on in Sherwood.

I was soon back home. Got the bits of food away, got drink out of the fridge, and began to update this post.

WD 120.60.0 Later on, I felt the summoning to the Porcelain Throne. (Ah, is the Movicol working?) Off to the wet room, in hopes high for a much better evacuation session. Mmm, no luck, rock-solid, only wind escaped?

5Fri23Got the nosh cooking. I emptied the ‘Soulfood’ ready-made vegetarian meal, into a saucepan, and added the last of the fresh pod peas, and some halved mini-tomatoes. As in this photograph on the right.

Then added some black-bean cooking sauce and gave it a good stir. (I think the bean-sauce makes it less hot) I can’t take chilli that is too volatile. Put it on a low heat setting, and as I pottered about doing the hand-washing, kept an eye on it, with plenty of stirring every so often.

5Fri22aGot it served up and enjoyed it. Too much bread (Sliced Milk Roll) was eaten with it. (Guilty Mode Adopted) By gum, it was tasty!

I got some extra bread to have with it. A lemon curd yoghourt, followed by a bag of Balsamic Vinegar crisps, an iced sucker was consumed afterwards, as well! (Guilty Mode Continuation)

I called at Josie’s to see when she wanted her nosh this week, Saturday or Sunday. But no answer.

As I settled down in the rickety, c1968, second-hand recliner, from nowhere, came a massive feeling of depression. Why I don’t know, but I could not help but search the mind to find the cause. Reasoning, that it is the mind that holds the emotion, thus the reason for it. Surely? No success, a blackness that made it difficult to nod off overcame me.

I did get to sleep eventually. Slept right through. And woke a different person, the brain in my usual answer and solution-seeking, and over-active mode; in desperate need of the Porcelain Throne.

TTFN each!

Inchcock Today – Thurs 25 July 2019: A vicambulation to take some photos of the garages, & belated Medications delivered!

2019 24 June

2019 July 25

Thursday 25th July 2019

Dutch: Donderdag 25 Juli 2019

Horrible last night. Trying to stay awake for the promised delivery from the lying, unreliable, pompous Carrington Pharmacy. It didn’t arrive. Now, I have ran-out of Beta-blockers! Let down again! I was tempted to post a dirty great photo on the blog, with a few chosen words of hate, in revenge, for the hassle, they are putting me through with their spoken untruths, and letting me down repeatedly! But I didn’t, even after they late made a promise again, I expect that if, I say IF it does come today, it will be so late,  I will have been up for 23-hours on the trot. And expect to fall asleep! Do they give a toss?

03:00hrs. Woke, wee’d off, and not wanting a wee-wee! Well! I got up from the recliner and checked to see if any missed-calls were on the intercom panel, there was none. No, Bisoprolol had been posted through the letterbox either. My heart sank!

I got to the kitchen and did the handwashing, got them on the airer. Made a brew. Did the HCs and, and off to the Porcelain Throne.

WD 40.0.0. Agony. It took me a crossword and twenty-minutes of Porcelain derived pain. The blood flowed, the temperament seethed with frustration. Duodenal Donald started giving me grief, and I generally went down a few points in the already low satisfaction and contentment departments. Carrington Pharmacy, are about as reliable as a politician or used car salesman! Something else to add to the list of ailments to tell the Doctor about tomorrow. And that is only if I can find the written list I made in the first place!

4Thu001The legs looked a to be improving, though. Arthur Itis was all calm. Colin Cramps had eased-off. It seems like Duodenal Duncan, and Diarhorrea Donald had added themselves to today’s ‘Issues’ list, to worry about, and giving me grief! Dysthymia-Mode-Adopted!

WD 40.0.0. Typing this, made me check with the Google Calendar – Boing! The appointment is for Monday, not Friday! Double-Dysthymia-Mode-Adopted!

I added a Movicol sachet to the medications. Desperate, this was. It didn’t work when they gave it to me in the hospital, but, needs must I suppose!

WD 40.0.0. Well solemn now, down, frustrated again. Miffed, nettled, antagonised, exacerbated! Fed-up with life’s cock-ups, failures, and disappointments all seemingly coming my way! They could solve all the issues if the chemist just sent me a pack of cyanide pills!

I started to create this blog and then went on finishing the Wednesday post. Got it posted. The fingers were not so bothersome, this morning, but still annoying at times.

I made up an email to the Pharmacy, and sent it off:

WD 40.0.0. Mr (Name), A few words (or more) on my medical condition and confusion over prescription promises.

I am, as you may be aware, in rapidly decreasing health. Being diagnosed with peripheral neuralgia and dysautonomia. Then I had the stroke, which advanced the problems with peripheral neuralgia and dysautonomia. The dancing and shaking right-side of my body, foot, leg, arm, and shoulder. There is no controlling anything when it kicks off. I get confused and panicky now.
The doctor and nurses kindly arranged for me to have the blister packs delivered (You delivered the first months for me, thank you). Over the first few weeks, unfortunately, I have dropped many tablets due to the issues I have. I found myself short on the Bisoprolol tablets.
This Tuesday, I asked the Warden at the flats, Deana, to call your Pharmacy to explain what had happened, as I feared I only had a couple of the beta-blockers left now. (My hearing problems) She was told that meds would be delivered on Wednesday. Which cheered me up, and took away a worry, which was grand!
I stayed in all day Wednesday. No calls registered. My usual time from 16:00hrs for getting my head down, was gone, and I forced myself to stay awake in the hopes of getting tablets for the morning. But this morning, still no calls registered, nothing put through the door.
I do not want to moan, indeed in the past, I have rightly praised your services on the web. But I am now getting panicky and confused this morning, and a little miffed.
With the electricitified fingers, lack of sensation in them, etc. it had taken me well over an hour to type this message, with all the corrections needed.
I will get in touch (and hope I do not miss any medicine delivery, Oh dear!) with Warden Deana, and ask her to call you, so she can let me know what is happening.
Sorry, to bother you.

Gerry Chambers

What do you think? (I tried to make it as uncomplaining sounding as I could.)

I sent some of the blogs photos off to Pinterest. Then got on with this post. I took time out, to clear the computer bin. Duodenal Donald is still annoyed with me.

I went on the WordPress Reader section.

4Thu05I just about had time to go to add the photos to the Facebook page, then got the Ablutions sorted out.

After the per diem struggle with sock-glide (it was a draw!), I got the medium length bamboo socks on. The legs look so much more attractive with the socks on – than off. Hehehe!

All went fairly well. Then I set out for a hobble to the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights Flats, and Administration shed for the Generalleutnantess Wardens Temporary HQ, Willmott-Dixon workers breakfast and tea-break room, Sarcasm & Insult distribution area, Tenants Socialisation Shed. Rumourmongering Clinic. Telling Inchcock off Zone, Things like crockery and pottery to be stolen from, and residents room, shed. To try to ask Deana to ring about the medications.

As I hobbled along Chestnut Way, Deana was just popping out to visit a tenant in my block. No problem with that, I went into the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights, Hauptbereitschaftsleiteress Warden’s Temporary HQ.  Sarcasm & Insult distribution area. Tenants Socialisationistical Meeting Shed. Telling Inchcock off Zone. Where things like crockery and pottery get stolen from, Rumourmongering Clinic, and somewhere to rest while waiting for the bus, Portakabin.

Where Julie asked what the problem was. Then she phoned the chemist. Who (possibly lying again), said the prescriptions would be delivered this afternoon. Which is what they said last month. Then didn’t turn, but did the next day… at nearly 20:00hrs! Knowing full-well that I get my head down from 16:00hrs to 18:00hrs, but I must not complain, not be naughty, and be bothered, they aren’t, so why make myself ill with worry. (Fair enough the lack of the medication for the ticker may kill me? But then I can come back spiritually, and take my revenge. I’m sure I’d be more suited to that existence).

Mary then Chrissie came in, and a chinwag was enjoyed. Dean returned to find that Julie spoke with the chemist. I did ask if she could ring them again and ask them if it is possible, could they delivery any earlier. But no go, so I departed. Over the road and a natter with some tenants waiting for the bus. I could not go out yet again for another day, thanks to the lying Carrington Pharmacy staff, misleading yet again. The place, after two years or more, is about to be stripped and the contents moved over the road to the Windwood Court building, today I think. To new facilities, eventually. A podiatrist, hairdresser, Sports room, a roof-top sitting area, a nurses room, new holding-cells (Hehe!), and about 40 new extra-care flats.

4Thu05aI decided to take a walk, a gentle, steady amble, to the dead-end of Chestnut Way, to photograph an area I’ve not done before. I took this picture on the left, of the entrance to the new Winwood Court and office facilities.

As I pottered about for the first time ever, down the dead-end garages, to take some photographicalisations, my mind had an eschatological moment. Possibly assisted by the attitude of the Pharmacist, not being bothered in the slightest by my having to miss two doses of the beta-blockers cause of his failed promise to deliver them on Wednesday (He can go forth and multiply. I will try to change chemists ASAP!). But, I decided within moments of my deep thinking, that all tellurians, especially of the humankind, should be terminated. That would at least gives me an advantage over others for the first time in my life.  For them, well, most of them will not want the world to end. Me? Que sera sera! Then I realised the way and what I was thinking! Time for some phycological help I guess. Tsk! I soon returned to my usual, leaning toward my regular senile, passive, chronically depressed old self, though. And started to take some photographicalisation.

4Thu10The excellent windows being fitted in the Winwood Extra Care Court. And the outside entrance for Woodthorpe Court, on Chestnut Way. Going in through the foyer doors, I observed that a washer was free. So I nipped up in the elevator, to get the more substantial washing. Collected it and down again and got the washing machine going.

Going back up in the elevator was a bit of a job, as workmen were using them. Not that it mattered to me. I was in no rush. Doreen came down and out. I asked her how she was, but don’t know if she answered, I think she did. Poor gal didn’t look too well, hope she’s going to be alright. Got up and by the time I had put a few photographs on the computer to use, it was back down again, to move the gear to the spin dryer. I did so, without seeing a soul. I wiped the inside of the washer drum after getting dryer going. But, Haha, as I went to get a lift back up, it took a long time. Presumably, the workmen were moving up and down and having to move their gear and tools in and out. Again, it was no sweat for me.

Back up and got the photographs on and sized. On the way down to collect the washing, I called at Josie’s and gave her one of the Tuna Fridge Pots. I’m glad she got me trying the tuna, it really is tasty, and not too pongy like some fish is. Delicious, too!

4Thu09I got down. No humanoids were about again. I removed the clobber and folded it, there was only a dressing-coat, bath towel, woolly hat, a jumper and one pair of pants, to transport into the bag on the three-wheeled-trolley. Cleaned the filter and inside the drum.

The left hand was still giving me some stick. Between the base of the fingers I wrote this, cause at the time of writing, a mind-block caused by my lethologica, knuckles was the absent word – Tsk!), and the wrist. I might have caused some injury when I had a fall on the L9 bus, or: after looking up this type of pain, it could be some kind of Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis.  (Clever stuff, yea? Haha! I looked it up on Google)

Did some more computing work, on CorelDraw to create some graphics to use later, and updating WordPress.

5Fri01I got the nosh sorted and served up.

I overdid the quantity a bit. (Not half!) Gherkins, crispy smoked streaky bacon, beetroot, fresh garden peas, various types of tomatoes, and some of the Asda chips in bacon juice. By Gawd, they are naughty but so lovely!

I wonder if any other company makes these for sale? The chips are done with the skin left on. They are saporous, palatable, scrummy, tasteful and scrumptious! (I may have overdone the praise a little there, Haha!) A tip here, if you manage to find any to try in your local Asda (Walmart); Oven cook them for longer than on the packet. I do mine for 35 minutes, to give them a crispyness! (Any more cooking tips you need, can be found at WWW.Inchcock-the-overeater.Twit/Sherwood) Hehehe!

Note the newly trialled Lemon Curd Yoghourt? Thinner than I anticipated, but not too sweet, so I may try these again. I did the washing-up

WD 40.0.0. I took off my tee-shirt and socks. Got them all in the hand-washing bowl. Left them to soak through. Back to the front room, and was about to take off my trousers, and I heard a woman’s voice beckoning from the hallway! It was a lady from the chemists, belatedly delivering my medications! It must have been a terrible sight for the gal! My short, blobby scarred body bouncing in front of her! She’s let herself in and took the med’s to the kitchen for me. I thanked her and, she got out as quickly as she could, and I don’t blame her!

A good job she didn’t come a minute or two later, or the sight that would have greeted her, would have been even more horrendous, ghastly, nightmarish and odious for her – Inchcock naked, all bar his PP’s! Makes even me shudder at the thought of it! And what a blessing that the dysautonomia wasn’t affecting the leg, arm, and shoulders at the time she came in! Imagine that if you can (although perhaps it might be safer for you not to); A decrepit, short, fat, bald, Nottingham Pensioner standing front of you, wearing only what looks like a giant nappy, stood there with his dancing and shaking all of his excess fat at you, arm and leg jerking away… No, no, too much to bear even thinking about!

So, it seemed my email might have had some effect then? For they delivered the stuff just before my usual head-down time. This was good and encouraging. I felt lightened!

I got one of the bottles of spring water with orange cordial I’d mixed and put in the fridge and got settled in the rickety recliner, to watch a Jonathan Creek DVD. I managed two, I say, Two episodes without nodding off!

Then, Zzzz!
