Inchcock Today – Part 2 of 2: Wednesday 21st March 2018: Back to the flat – maelstrom of dust and dirt encountered!

Wednesday 21st March 2018 – Part Two

Bengali: বুধবার 21 শে মার্চ 2018 – পার্ট দুই

I enjoyed being looked after and mollycoddled by the Nottingham City Homes staff in the Obergruppenfureress Wardens Temporary HQ and Social Shack, on my return from my marathon hobble to the surgery, opticians and audio centre, to the Winwood Flats. A lady told me they had found a tenant on Monday, well her dead body in her flat. Cheery news and events today.

I went up to see if how the workings of my flat were going. Dustily and noisily was the answer.

Holes, gaps, dust everywhere possible.

The Clipboard man arrived and showed me how the kitchen windows would work for opening and closing when the locks preventing opening were taken off. Which would be when all the hoist work was finished another a week or two.

A chap came to tidy up and moved the chairs for me.

Shame I forgot to ask him to put the curtains back up. I tried using the steps but could not keep my balance.

The mess was incredible. Dentists to go to in the morning. Social Hour if I get done there quick enough and can get back.

Time and energy must somehow be attained if I am ever going to get the place sorted out.

Stressed is how I feel. The upcoming sprinkler system installation will be something for fear and need even more cleaning up after. Then the new intercom-Tannoy fitting. Then the… I can’t cope.

Pork knuckle wholemeal cobs tomatoes and potato fritters for the nosh.

Fell into a deep sleep before I had eaten it all.

Luckily, no mess added to themes all around me.

Woke with the Fire Alarm going off. Went to the front door, no heat on the handle, I could hear the klaxon going, and it stopped a few seconds later. Went to the front to see if any fore engines in attendance. But the new layout of the windows meant I could not take a photograph. Tsk!

Washed the plate and things and back in the recliner.

Fire Alarm went off again. This happened twice again in the next half-hour. But I was so tired-out, I ignored the later ones.

And boy, were the feet stinging!

See’s ya later folks.

I don’t blame you, feeling all stressed out with everything going on. A lot of sudden change & people wandering about the flat, making noise & a mess. <3

You are right Corin. I don’t cope well with all this hassle.
Still, nice of you to understand. ♥

You have quite a mess of pebbles in that conglomerate wall. Nice mess of electrical cords, and good looking mess of food there, as well.

Its all a mess, innit, Tim. Haha!
The dust tastes okay, though. Got the man doing the bottom of the balcony window arrived three minute ago. He’s shot off to get some glue?
      Cheers Sir.
