Inchcock – Tuesday 23rd May 2017: Chrome problems persisting – Got out for a hobble to get the Prescriptions from Carrington Pharmacy

2Tue001a

Tuesday 23rd May 2017

Macedonian: Вторникот 23 мај 2017 година

Woke around 0545hrs, entangled half in and half out of the £300 second-hand recliner.

Tissues, pen, notepad, torch, medicine bottle, pain gel tube, headphones, remote controls, mobile phone and biscuit crumbs were artistically scattered over the chair, carpet, the other chair and over me! As I tried to clear my jargogled brain in an effort to recall how and why I had no legerity to tackle this problem… memories of a dream I’d had filtered into my mind memory. A rarity this. So I scribbled down some notes, although this time, actual memories remained as well!

I was acting in the film (Or thought I was really there) Rio Bravo, Dean Martin – the Dude, Sheriff Chance – John Wayne, Rick Nelson – The Colorado Kid, Ward Bond -Pat Wheeler the prisoner and me as Stumpy! This dream bore no relationship to the actual film other than this, and the background scenery of the gulch and barns. We were shooting Star Trek type Phasers at each other? This seemed all perfectly natural to me. After running around trying to get a better position with a handful of dynamite from somewhere, I realised they were all firing at me! No idea how, but I avoided all the phasing blasts and a Messerschmidt bf 109 dived out of the sky and strafed me.

Next thing I’m in a coffin being lowered into a grave in the ravine, and peeping out through the holes between the bare wooden planks on top of it… Still calm and collected, Dean Martin slurred “Who the hell was he?” John Wayne turned spat on the floor and replied: “Damned if I know!”

Then I was in a long queue of folks waiting to go in the old Imperial C2Tue04inema on Wilford Road in Nottingham, around 1950 and looking down at myself as an ankle-snapper in the line of bodies and remember thinking as  stared at my younger self: “I don’t know who it is either!” Hehehe! There were many more things that took place, but I cannot recall them.

This is the only photograph I could find on the web of the Imperials as was. It was I assume taken around 1960, long after the place had closed down and was being used as a Plumbers Merchant base?

Throughout all of this dream, I was so relaxed and content?

Off to the Porcelain Throne. Haemorrhoid Harold bleeding profusely, did my duty, cleaned things up and put a pair of protection pants on, it was that bad.

The stomach was grinding away still.

Did the Health Checks and took the morning medications and put the kettle on. The reading were all okay I think. Sys 147, Dia 77, Pulse 86, Temp 34.8, Weight 14.71 Down a bit after going up yesterday. And I had two meals as well?

Got the Google Chrome opened, email became Unresponsive within seconds. Updated yesterday’s diary and started this one off. Tried to open the instructions from Tech Man Sam and it froze for the fifth time since opening it! Humph!

Duodenal Donald was giving me some pain again. I must get out today to the chemist’s to see if the prescriptions are ready yet.

I decided to get the ablutions done now and get out to do this while I thought of it.

Had a good shower, shave (lost a bit more blood with this activity, Huh!) and other things and got the nibbles for the chemist staff into the bag. I’ll call in at the doctors first to find out if the prescriptions will be ready or not.

2Tue05Set off down Chestnut Walk towards the turn off for Winchester Street Hill.

Plenty of vehicles around, but on people at the time was passing.

The Chestnut Tree’s flowers drew me towards them with their beauty.

I got underneath the tree and took a 2Tue06photographicalisation of them from below.

Best I could get was the one on the left. Absolutely stunning flowers I thought.

With a bit of a lift in my limp now, I pressed on and down the hill into Sherwood.

Left up the Mansfield Road hill and by the Funeral Parlour (Where my funeral is all paid for) and the flower shop. They had some giant single sunflowers on sale and took what I thought was a decent picture of them. When it came to downloading it to the computer – it was not there? I’ve this before and still can’t work out what I’ve done wrong? Humph!

Over the hill and down into Carrington and into the Sheringham Park Surgery. Explained about my getting short of the Omeprazole capsules and asked if the next load of prescriptions was ready yet. She consulted her computer and said no, but if I come back in tomorrow they could be collected and taken to the chemist. I said thank you with what must have been a terribly dejected and sorry expression, cause she called me back and told me to take a seat and she’d see if the Doctor would validate the process. A few minutes later, she came out and gave me the prescription to take to the chemist. Kind of her saving me another hobble tomorrow.

Off to the pharmacy and was told there would be a long wait, or I could come back tomorrow to collect them. I told him I was going to do some shopping at Lidl and would return afterwards (Assuming I remembered to. Hehe!)

As I left to limped to the shop, I noticed BJ was in the launderette next door. He didn’t look too happy when I sneaked in and behind and threw him a cheery “Good Morning!” I hope he is not poorly. Aske me if I still wanted to got the War Memorial on Sunday, thanked him and said yes. Got the feeling, that was not the answer he was looking for?

2Tue09To the shop and spent over £12 on food? Mature Stilton, Jersey potatoes, tomatoes, tins of stuffed peppers, Lemon yoghourts, bread rolls with cheese, Smoked Haddock filled fishcakes and risotto mushroom rice.

Paid up and back to the chemist to collect the Prescriptions.

So much fodder along with the prescriptions 2Tue09ameant I had to break the stuff into two bags.

Rather heavy, and I struggled to carry them to the bus stop, where the Pensioners Free Bus Pass was greatly appreciated I can inform you all.

Met tenant Frank there, little natter.

No one else at the shelter, but by the time a bus arrived there were several other passengers – who between them forced their way onto the bus before I could, and I ended up sitting on the only seat available, one of the side-saddle ones. Arthur Itis was not happy with this, and soon let me know.

Off Sherwood

Met and accompanied tenant Frank’s better half at the bus stop. Nice chat and laugh on the way back to the flats.

2Tue10Put away shopping and medications and took the midday doses.

Got the Computer on – Unresponsive again a few times, well too many times, so much so I gave up with Google and got the dinner on the cook.

Maple Belly Pork slices into the oven, potatoes in a saucepan (Added some extra Maple Syrup). When they were cooking I got the tomatoes, beetroot, sliced an apple, mini pork and cheese pie and the cheesy cob onto the tray ready.

Tried to updated this diary, but Chrome problems decided me to do this in the morning, turned off the computer.

Got the no2Tue11sh served up with a small pot of lemon yoghourt.

An excellent tasty meal this one! Rated this at 9.45/10, despite nearly losing a tooth as I struggled with the tough skin o the belly pork. Lovely!

Did the last Health Checks took the evening medications and perused the TV magazine. Some good stuff on tonight that I fancied watching, but I was fully aware that I wasn’t going to see much of them and fall asleep. Hehehe!

Which I did swiftly. The mobile phone rang out, of course, I knew it was close cause I could hear it as I disentangled myself from the £00 second-hand recliner, but could I locate where it was? No! It stopped ringing. I was at a loss as to where it must be, went into the hallway to check the jacket pocket, and the landline telephone rang. It was Sister Jane. Back into the front room and spotted the mobile on the floor near the chair as I got to the landline. We had a chinwag for a while and I lost the signal. Jane rang back on the mobile, she was in her garden in the sunshine. I knew she was alright, cause she ordered me to eat pasta in my diet and told me off for buying tinned meat filled peppers in tomato sauce, also gave me a lecture on slimming and losing weight. Hahaha! (Only joking!)

Accifauxpa! Did the washing up, opting today, to stab my left-hand finger with the little steak knife, right down the nail again. Not deep, though.

There were three episodes of Law & Order on consecutively on channel 21. Full of hope of watching at least one of them before nodding off, I settled with a bottle of spring water, a chocolate bar (Topic) and Duodenal Donald twinging away. Every time an advert came on I nodded off, then it got worse, I kept slipping off while watching the programme. Not the foggiest idea now of what I was looking at. Just had a stubborn determination to keep on trying to watch it. Tsk! Eventually, I drifted off and into the land of nod properly.

Woke much later, around 0200hrs in desperate need of Porcelain Throne activity! Duodenal Donald was rampant and very annoying with his persistence and degree of botherationalisationing! Due to this, getting back to sleep was not easy.

Hey-ho! TTFN

Inchcock Today – Monday 22nd May 2017: Nice hobble to the hospital blood test

Monday 22nd May 2017

Latin: 22 Lunae Maii MMXVII

0530hrs: Woke, felt sorry for myself for getting no response to me begging for help with the Chrome problem. Out of the £300 second-hand wobbly recliner and to the Porcelain Throne. I reread some bits of the ‘Emotions’ book while there.

No bleeding anywhere, an easier session and decided to do the ablutions while I was in there.

Only two cuts this morning (The new Bic razors you know?), shaving, had a visit from Dizzy Dennis.

Out and got the nibble bag ready for the nurses at the Blood Clinic and put the Anticoagulation Record Card in the jacket pocket so as not to forget it later.

A bit nippy this morning.

Got the computer on and made sure that Chrome would load and did some WordPress reading.

Did the Health Checks and took the medications. The only thing about the results that bothered me was the 14.82 Weight. Sys:155 Dia:85 Pul:84 Temp:34.9. With staying in, in case the Tech Man called for two days (He didn’t) thus not getting any hobbles in may have contributed to the increase in mass weight? I must remember to email Sam, the Tech Man when Chrome allows me to and inform him of the No Change situation with Google Chrome going unresponsive, even after all the work he’s done on it, and ask him to have a look again when he gets the time.

Made a mug of tea and started this dairy off. Then I finished off yesterday’s post.

Oh dear, the tummy rumbling is back again now, suddenly came on? And I have a long hobble coming up to get to the City Hospital Anticoagulation INR blood test session.

Had to stop doing this at this moment, or I will be late if I don’t get a move on now… Hope things (Google Chrome) will let me back on later.

1Mon01Been no bother yet today?

Would you believe it, after typing the above, guess what happened?

Not feeling too good with the innards, hope I can get to the hospital without any hassle. Hehe! Thank heavens for the free Pensioners Bus pass.

TTFN.

I’m back.

I’d set off and up through the park passing and talking to the tree Copse as I went. (I know, sad innit?)

Up over the hill and right down towards Valley Road Dual Carriageway.

Not too cold at all this morning, and no signs of any rain imminent either.

1Mon02On the hill hobbling down to the main road, I came across these giant daisies in a driveway of one of the houses.

I cannot remember seeing any of this giant variety of this species of daisy, the Asteraceae family ever before in England. I recall seeing some on a fishing holiday in Ireland at Athlone, though. Bootiful!

1Mon03As I approached the dual carriageway to turn left down to the turn at the next traffic island for the hospital, the fifth Nottingham Pavement Cyclist came at me.

I had the camera out from taking the flowers shot.

Along the footpath near the turn-off for the blood tests, I saw through the railings, one lone 1Mon04Ladybird, or Lady Bug as the Americans call them.

Did the best I could to get a clear shot of it, but ended up with the one here on the left as the best I could manage.

Onward through the ground passing the GUM Clinic and right into the Anticoagulation Section.

Took a ticket and went to get the Crossword Book out of the bag. But I’d left it in the flat. So I took the ticket from the machine and ventured to a mini-shop and bought another one. I must have about six of them now. Tsk!

Got seated and waited for the number to come up. The book I had bought had odd shaped crosswords grids where there were fewer answers crossing each other so made it a little hard to get some of the answers. That’s my excuse anyway. Hehe!

Half an hour or so later my number came up, and I hobbled into the clinic. Once again no bother with the extraction, but a right job to stop it bleeding afterwards.

Out and over the road to the bus stop with the bus pass in hand ready. I would have liked to have had a crash helmet and knee pads on too. Boy, was it busy on that bus! Haha!

1Mon09Got into Bulwell and walked to the cheapo shop where I found nothing I wanted. Limped to the Fulton Food Store to get the Sterilised milk – but they had none in stock. Not doing very well with the shopping today. They had none of the Bread Thins in either. I did get some battered fishcakes and fish fingers, though.

At £1 each on offers, so not all a waste of time, eh?

1Mon05Out of the shop through the Market Place.

Not many folks around today.

Although I could hear many emergency vehicles sirens and horn somewhere nearby? Mind you, this not uncommon in Bulwell I have to say.

To the River Lean Bridge to have a talk to the 1Mon07Mallard Ducks.

Gave them some of the fodder I’d mixed for them that I know they like.

Birdseed, Cornmeal pellets, Sunflower seeds and Mealworm Pellets.

Oh, I do look after them, and in return, it gives me so much pleasure to see them gobble them up.

1Mon06One white duck, a little larger than the others, did not join in the feast.

He or she was far more interested in something on the bottom of the river – and that is all I could in the photographicalisations I took of the bird – The Bottom!

Hehehe!

I didn’t find out what was so tantalising the Duck in the river, though.

Went to catch a tram back to Nottingham, and a more perilous journey this one was. The tram was almost full when it arrived in Bulwell Station and dozens of ankle-snappers with mothers in toe with fags hanging out of their mouths and a varied vocabulary coming up from their oesophagus regions, shoplifters and yobboes competed with me for a seat… I lost!

Dropped off at the Theatre Royal stop and checked the time on the display. Twenty minutes until the next L9 bus. Not long enough to go to get some bread and milk, so I wobbled further down Queen Street and caught a 40 bus back. Another full bus!

A kerfuffle of sorts, but not an ill-tempered one at all. When it came to my getting off on Winchester Street Hill, Three ladies and a chap were getting off as well. But a lady who got on later in the journey had a for wheeled shopping trolley with her, and what a picklement as he had to move the trolley to make room the three trolleys the getting off ladies had. Still, they all managed it with a laugh, that was nice. The bus driver wasn’t too happy it took ages and a line of cars behind the bus up to the top of the hill by the time they’d sorted themselves and got off. Hehehe!

I waited as the bus departed to cross over where there is a central pedestrian island, waited further for the queue of traffic to clear and crossed over. To my surprise, the ladies had crossed with the chap and about fifty yards on down the hill already!

1Mon08Down and onto Chestnut Walk and took this photo from under the tree.

I wondered if this one will survive the chopper when they start the alterations at the compound?

Met Penny’s husband Frank in the foyer of the flats. We had a chinwag and a laugh.

Up to flat number 72 and to the porcelain for a wee-wee.

Put the fish away, keeping some out to use for the meal.

1Mon17aFelt somewhat peckish, so I got the meal cooking, took the medications and set the timer to remind me when the fish and fish cakes were ready.

Ate the lot of it and still felt a bit peckish afterwards.

Did the health checks.

1Mon18Drifted off into the land of nod in no time.

Woke a couple of hours later and put the kettle on to have a brew.

The sky looked nice, what is it they say? ‘Red Sky at Night – Shepherds Delight?

A small Whoopsiedangleplop with the washing up. Left the hot water tap running again. Blooming good job the plug was not in the sink!

Had a look at the TV magazine and found endless programmes I thought I’d like, took a while to choose which ones to watch… not that it mattered, I fell asleep again! Tsk!

Not a good one, off for a few minutes, waking up, nodding off again…

Eventually, I sprang awake with the need to make use of the Porcelain Throne, this woke me properly like when I stubbed the toe again en route. Hunger pangs returned, and I had a look what was available in the freezer for a second meal. Not had two meals in a day for years before.

1Mon17Cooked some potato cakes, petit poi and had the last three tiny potatoes left from the first meal of the day. The cooked smoked crispy bacon was a day out of date, but smelt and looked alright to me, so I had them cold.

Even had a pot of lemon yoghourt with it.

Within minutes of consuming and enjoying this extra feast, the innards started rumbling and stabbing away at me. Huh!

Put the empty plate and tray to one side, thought about taking an extra Omeprazole as Duodenal Donald was starting to kick off too… still managed to fall asleep right through until 0545hrs!

Inchcock – Sunday 21st May 2017: Stuck indoors again!

7Sun001

Sunday 21st May 2017

Lao: ວັນອາທິດ 21 ພຶດສະພາ 2017

Woke with a start around 0240hrs. Got the pencil and scribbled notes about the dream I had been having. Had a bad headache Rare for me, and Duodenal Donald was giving me much grief, very bad. Worrying over the computer the cause, perhaps?

Got out of the £300 second-hand recliner and took a Codeine Phosphate and an Omeprazole capsule then had a wee-wee. Noticed I was getting low on stocks of medications and thought it must be time to fetch the next prescriptions?

Back in the rickety recliner and read the notes about the dreams. Similar to one the night before. Nighttime, on a train with other people I knew, but could not put a name to? We were making plans to carry out something involving secrecy… finance and shredding tiddlywinks? We kept getting visitors to the carriage and interviewing them for some reason… The train crashed and none of us in the carriage were hurt… We ended up searching the bodies and wounded for tiddlywink markers, and giving the wounded an Extra Strong Mint each? Lots more took place I felt, but I couldn’t recall any more details.

Settled back and amazingly I dropped off to sleep again, until 0630hrs. Up and to the Porcelain Throne, Haemorrhoid Harold bleeding badly, but Anne Gyna, Arthur Itis and Reflux Roger were okay and no signs of any bother from Diahorrea Derek. Looking good, but I could not fully appreciate this as I was still fretting over the Goggle Chrome problems.

7Sun01aLooked nice outside when I went to make a mug of tea.

Did the Health checks, the weight had gone back down a bit from yesterday.

Got the internet on and tried out the email to see if any ongoing problems still.

After half an hour, Google Chrome had not gone unresponsive – but it took a while to start yesterday and never stopped all day, so I’m not getting any hopes up yet.

Finished off the Saturday Diary, back to the Porcelain Throne, not problems. Notice some mail had been delivered. Two letters. One from The Pensions Service, who had put the wrong Postcode on the address when I moved here in July 2016, and I had to contact them three times over two months to get them to change the Postcode so I could use the form for my ID with the bank. Telling me that I had ‘A Change in my Account Details’. No rush!

7Sun01The other from the Cancer Screening Programme telling me no further action required.

Sorted next weeks medication pots out.

The stomach keeps on rumbling and stinging a bit again. Might just be Duodenal Donald offering me a variety in his attack? Hehe!

6Sat12aHello… the damned going unresponsive Google Chrome has started again!

Selected Wait option, a few minutes later it came back on.

We’ll see.

Well, would you believe it?

7Sun02aI think you might. Bloody Virgin Media Internet has gone down now!!!

Sunday again, it always goes down on a Sunday!

Luckily by the time I’d done the graphic on the left, it was back on.

Getting the picture onto WordPress, and guess what happened this time?

Yes, Google Chrome went into Unresponsive 6Sat12aMode yet again, when I opened Gmail!

How Microsoft, Google and Virgin can get away with not showing any help, shame, ignominy, or self-denunciation with their obvious con-job of pretending their services work correctly, is enough to shame Tony Blair and Stalin!

They are all first-rate con-merchants, crooks, swindlers, bilkers, cheaters, deceivers, fleecers, 2017-05-21 08.04.19flimflammers, fraudsters, sharks, philargyrists, ingordigious, acquisitive, venal, money-grubbing, rapacious, and quomodocunquising!

They ruin people’s lives financially, emotionally and cruelly with offering hopes within their lies of perfection, and charge the earth for a service of the greatest uncaring, unconcerned nature!

2017-05-21 07.53.17Hitler and Stalin would have closed them down and Tony Blair would have bought them out!

Now, I just may sound a little bit pee’d off with Google Chrome, Microsoft, PC World, not being able to get on Facebook’s TFZ page and my own failure to get the computer sorted out?

This is because I am pee’d off with Google Chrome, Microsoft, PC World, not being able to 1Mon001get on Facebook’s TFZ page and my own failure to get the computer sorted out? It had to be said! Grumph!

Plan to have mixed mushrooms with a lamb hotpot for fodder today, with some potato farls, before they go out of date too far, and because I have no bread in stock, due to having to stay in just in case the Computer Tech Man Sam calls.

7Sun02bDecided to turn off and read the Emotions book for while.

After I’d taken a peep at the TV magazine and chosen some good programmes to watch later.

Fed-up with struggling on the computer.

And Arthur Itis, although being kind to my knees and ankles, decided to have ago at the hands and fingers. At least he moves around a bit. Hehe!

6Sat14Got the meal prepared and consumed. Lamb hotpot with some extra gravy. Nice!

Soon fell sleep and woke a few hours later.

Tried to watch the Gogglebox with some success this time, managed a good two hours before nodding off.

Woke around 0020hrs, stomach rumbling badly, but nothing on the Throne but the wind?

Back to the £300 second-hand recliner, took an extra painkiller and got off without much bother again.

Inchcock – Friday 19th May 2017: Incorporating The Nuclear Shaving Wound Accifauxpa. Hehe!

5Fri01

Friday 19th May 2017

Japanese: 金曜日2017年5月19日

0350hrs: Up and feeling lively. Might be cheered at the faith and appreciation of help being given me by a complete stranger with the Google Chrome problem coming tonight I hope.

Got the washing ready and down to the laundry room with it.

Back up the lift and onto the Porcelain Throne. Only a bit of bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harold. Took the medications and started the computer, fingers crossed. At least I’ve found a way to get the diaries onto Facebook, via the email, that works.

Finished yesterday’s diary and posted it.

Down to move the clothes to the dryer and back up to the twelfth floor to start this one off. Made a graphic for the top of the page. Had an idea to make a funny post, something like Inchcock Party Manifesto? Hopefully, if I can get Chrome sorted and working, I’ll be able to on with it this weekend?

5Fri020538hrs: Down to see if the drying had finished in the Laundry Room.

Twas raining outside, and I felt so sorry for the soaking wet milkman.

Checked the dryer machine and the clothes in it were all dried sufficiently.

Cleaned the filter and machine, folded the 5Fri02aattire and stacked them in little piles to enable me to put them in the bag so that they need to come out.

Clever or what? Hehe!

Swept the room and back up to the apartment and took a wee-wee as an urgent need.

Kettle on and stored the togs away.

5Fri04Making a brew afterwards and the sky caught my eye, it looked a bit threatening to me.

When I got back on the computer, I added the last three photos and updated the wording, then had a look at the weather forecast for Nottingham today.

It looks like they were right about it being a wet start to the day.

5Fri05

Remembered I’d not carried out the Health Check List, so I did it. All looked okay to me.

Did some WordPress reading, as soon as I went on the Google email, then Chrome started playing up and not letting me proceed. Humph!

On CorelDraw 2017 and started creating the political party funny graphic. Lost everything I’d done for WordPress when Chrome went unresponsive again.

5Fri12jClosed down the computer and got on with the ablutions. During which I suffered two Whoopsiedangleplop and Accifauxpa incidents.

Made several cuts with the new razor while shaving.

And applied Betamethasone ointment instead of antiseptic cream to the wounds. Twit!

Had to use after-shave in the end to stop the flow.

Then, while taking a good shower, I dropped the Dettol soap and banged my eye on the corner wire trays.

I now have a decent black eye and some more bleeding. Along with Haemorrhoid Harold’s loss of blood on the Porcelain Throne, I don’t think I have much left in me now (Blood). Hehehe!

Part of the scratch looks a little Nuclearish in the photo above to me? As for what shiny thing in the ear-hole is, I’ve no idea! Probably from the flash on the camera? The black bits are the skin cancer, so no fretting about what they are at least.

Made a brew, took the midday medications and updated this old tosh.

I had an email from Duncan. Offering some advice I could follow of what to try with the Google Chrome problem. I’ll give it a go if need be in the morning. Thank’s Dunc.

Did a bit of flat clearing and cleaning.

Put the meal segments into one saucepan to heat up later after the help Chap Sam, calls. Potatoes, turnip chunks, fresh pod peas in the seasoned veg water. Might have some vegetarian sausages or a piece of cod with them I think.

Read some more of the Emotions book.

Did some work to start on another graphic on CorelDraw 2017. Hard work with the browser freezing. Gave up and read the Emotions book.

Did the evening ablutions and Jenny called me, she is bringing up Sam the Tech-Man to take a look at the computer. She introduced the young man, Sam and left.

I explained the problems I was having and showed him the advice that Duncan had sent me asking if he could do this procedure for me. Good idea he said, adding that my mate Duncan was sagacious in his suggestions. The next half hour or so I was totally amazed at what Sam did in cleaning the system. All so fast, he tried to explain what and why he was doing the things. He, as Dunc recommended, went through what I did and didn’t need and got rid of many things. He added CC Cleaner and UBlock and another programme that shows if the channel or page you are on is safe.

He then set-up the laptop for me, loaded CorelDraw onto it and got the internet access sorted and Chrome with the same layout and options onto it as the computer has.

He was very patient with me as I sometimes struggled to understand what was what. Gave me an email address to contact him if any more bother. Thanked and paid the man gladly. Off he went leaving a more hopeful Inchy behind.

Feeling so tired now.

5Fri10Put a bit of fish and a few potato thingies in the oven to add to the well-cooked-by-now turnips, pod peas and potatoes.

When the fish and vegetables were done, I added them to beetroot, surimi and mushrooms and other vegetables on the plate.

A pot of lemon fool for afters.

Although I really felt drained, I did feel a warm glow of hope that things will go alright on the computer when I investigate the changes in the morning. Too weary to try now.

Did the health checks, took the medications and visited the Porcelain Throne.

As I checked the place, I adopted the Prospectively Harmful Whoopsiedangleplop Overnight Avoidance Routine (PHWOAR) Hehe!

I must try to5Fri09 remember to do this every night from here on in.

Checked the door was locked, lights off, shower power off, not taps running in wetroom or kitchen, nothing left on the cooker, fridge door not open, windows checked and took out any plugs not needed.

The view outside was still looking eerie. As I was taking the photographicalisation, the rain began to splatter on the window.

After eating most of the meal, I got the TV on to watch some selected programmes, didn’t see any of them, but the sleep was welcome indeed.

TTFN folks.

Inchcock – Thursday 18th May 2017: Computer Google Chrome Problems, Accifauxpa and

4Thur01

Thursday 18th May 2017

Italian: Giovedi 18 Maggio 2017

0200hrs Woke and off for a wee-wee. Got back down again and slept until 0306hrs.

Dream

First thing, I took the medications, had another wee-wee and heavy duty session on the Throne, messy gooey.

Then got on with trying to uninstall and reload Google Chrome to get rid of the freezing. Searched for advice first, but I could only get at far as Programs, clicked Chrome in the box and the computer telling me to ‘Select all Google Chrome Items’ – there were no more to pick or choose? Fed-up with this, I’ll see if I can get some help or anyone knows of someone who can come to the flat to have a look at and give me a hand, I’ll ask at the Windwood Social Hour, not very hopeful though. Grr!

Very frustrating having to wait for hours for it to reset itself when it does, it doesn’t frequently, reset reboot reload, turn off and reboot all the time, and every time I try to go on Facebook or YouTube. I’ll have to stay off for until I can get someone to pay to this sorted out… if I can?

Losing heart here.

Back to the Porcelain Throne again, no pebble-dash but gooey and sticky now! Going through the toilet paper at a fast rate of knots. Tsk! Haemorrhoid Harold was bleeding badly this morning.

Tried doing this update and finishing yesterday’s diary, which took hours due to my being too nervous to do it when I got back from the trip out Wednesday and being convinced I could sort out the Chrome uninstall and reinstall procedure today. Foolish me!

I wish I’d taken a photo from the kitchen window earlier now. This morning when I got up was crystal clear, look at it now?

This morning when I got up, it was crystal clear, look at it now?

I realised I’d not put the map of yesterday’s marathon hobble in the diary.

4Thur03So, here it is.

Just to show off and pretend I’m as fit as a fiddle.

The feet ain’t half stinging now, but I’ve only got myself to blame. Although I did enjoy the visit to the park and ducks and was well pleased with the results from Mr Redmain… or, was it Redman?

Although I did enjoy the visit to the park and ducks and was well satisfied with the results from Mr Redmain… or, was it Redman?

I’d like to make a note of my appreciation of the Pensioners Free Bus Pass too.

I reckon without this, yesterday’s bus trips would have cost me around the figure of £12-£15 in total!

By heck… the stomach and innards have just started off grinding and bubbling away again now. Tsk!

I did some WordPr4Thur04ess reading for a while.

Still unable to get on and use Facebook without Chrome problems.

Tsk!

The view from the kitchen window, when I made another mug of tea has changed again. A lot clearer once more? I got the last of the pod peas, some small potatoes and beef in the Crock-Pot cooking.

Took the rubbish bags to the chute. Then got the ablutions tended to and deodorised me up nicely. Made sure the raffle prizes and nibbles were in the bag.

Set off to the Tenants Social Hour.

A good session and one lady suggested I go to the phone shop in the Victoria Centre and ask ‘The Geeks’ for help with the computer problem. If I sign to pay the something monthly, they will always be on hand to help. That lady had signed with them. So, I decided to go into town afterwards and have a word with them, might try to get some pod peas at the same time.

4Thur05BJ was there, and a few laughs were had.

At the bus stop the weather looked marvellous to me, the trees so beautiful.

Another good listen best I could to the chinwagging.

As the bus went along Porchester Road, I took this photographicalisation of the sky towards the City Centre.

4Thur06

I could see a face in the clouds. When I got back, I made up the above graphic of it. I just wondered if anyone else can see it?

Dropped off the bus at the usual place near the Victoria Centre and hobbled in and through to the Phone Warehouse shop and to the back counter where the ‘Geek Squad’ sign indicated they would be located.

4Thur08

4Thur09

The chap with the blonde hair informed me the Geeks are only there for three hours a week on Saturday mornings! Deflated about that.

Poddled to the Tesco store, but they didn’t have any fresh pod peas in stock again! Bought some SourDough Bread, though.

So I went to the Fruit and Veg market and got some peas up there.

Out of the mall and into the Wilko Store. Got some disinfectant, foil and deodorant.

4Thur10

4Thur11Had a walk up Clinton Street window shopping.

But it was little, well, a lot more hectic than yesterday, so I gave up and got out soon as I could back onto Upper Parliament Street, and went to the bus-top, just avoiding a Burk on a bike Nottingham Pavement Cyclist.

Caught the L9 bus back to the flat complex.

4Thur07As the bus turned right, off of Porchester Street and down a narrow part of the route, I tried to get a photograph of the steep hill. But didn’t make too good a job of it cause a van turned in at the same time in front of the bus.

Battling falling asleep again now. I actually did nod off a few times, but luckily as the bus turned into Chestnut Walk, I stirred.

A quick chinwag with some residents at the bus stop and up with a little concern that I might not make it in time, to the flat and the Porcelain Throne.

Then, I moved the fodder into a saucepan to warm through and washed the slow cooker. The computer and Google are still letting me down. Will not let me work on Facebook again.

05Thu12I got the meal, a stew of sorts served up.

Podded peas, turnip, small potatoes, made a nice caramelised gravy to go with it and added some beef gravy and a tin of stewed steak to it.

Slices of Sourdough bread to soak up the nice rich gravy and a Lemon Fool to follow with this fool enjoying it a lot. 9.4/10 rating.

Got a phone call from Obergruppenfurheress Jenny, she had kindly arranged for a friend to call and have a look at my Google Chrome problems. Later when I was asleep and in the land of nod, the door chime burst forth and a note had been posted through the letterbox for me from Jenny. She told me a chap called Sam would be visiting me tomorrow night sometime after 1800hrs. That was so kind of her to help out.

Having woken up, I decided to make a mug of tea… Accifauxpa Time! Dropped the milk and cleaned it up.

Watched some TV for ages, no nod-offs in between. But the worries over the Chrome issue kept overtaking other thoughts.

TTFN each.

Inchcock – Monday 15th May 2017: Got soaked in the rain going for the INR Blood Test, Tsk!

1Mon001

Monday 15 May 2017

Icelandic: Mánudagur 15 Maí 2017

0215hrs: Rose out of the rickety £300 second-hand recliner. Had a visit from Dizzy Dennis on the way to the Porcelain Throne. A long, long session this first one today. Got some of the ‘Emotions’ book reread. The movement was far less than of late, but resistant to my needs, although still Pebbledash quality. Cleaned things and me up and into the kitchen to make a cuppa.

Got the washing ready and down to the laundry room and got them machine going. Back up to the home.

Took the morning medications, not realising it was so early.

1Mon02Down and moved the things into the dryer.

The view from outside the foyer door was photographicalised.

Onto the computer and finished off the last diary for yesterday.

Google Chrome keeps going unresponsive, and I have to close it and all other programmes and restart – then it does it again! Grumph! Does it each and every time I try to go on Facebook!

Then I did the Health Check Print-Out for last week.

I think things looked okay.

1Mon03

Noticed the, er… aroma shall I call it, from the Porcelain Throne room seemed to have permeated into the rest of the flat’s rooms. Foul and followed me all over, even when I went down twelve floors to the laundry room! Nose blocked today, maybe that has something to do with it. Seem to be endlessly spraying air freshener over everywhere, without any success?.

1Mon04Down to retrieve the clothing.

Why or how I had not noticed before beats me, but I realised how few clothes I’d actually taken down to be washed?

Whoopsiedangleplop!

I’d unaccountably started two laundry bags and taken only one down! Nincompoop, idiot and simpleton spring immediately to mind as a description of me?

Up one last time to the flat. The first thing needed to be was to visit the Porcelain Throne… what a phoo too! Hehe! More disinfectant splashing and fresh-air spraying ensued!

Must remember today is the INR Blood Test at the City Hospital. I’ll try a walk there again like last week, a slow, steady walk. Put the nibbles in the bag while I thought of it, and the Anticoagulation form in the jacket pocket.

6Sat01aWhile searching got the things, I came across the leaflet about Tuesday being available for us to go and talk to someone in the Community Shed about out preferences for the new colour scheme for the flats.

I don’t mind what colour they are, but will vote for the dark brown I think, because I can’t see others opting for it. That is of course if I remember to go.

Started this off, in between Google Chrome crashing and having to rest everything – getting miffed with this. I must try to find someone who can come to the flat and fix it for me if possible?

Then is dawned on me. Will I manage to get to the hospital without any Accifauxpa in the emissions department? Fingers crossed and safety pants on I think.

To the Porcelain Throne once more, much wind and rumbling but little action. Although much stinky-poos I’m afraid. While I sat there, a mental picture of the dream, I had earlier adumbrated into my mind for few seconds. I was in the back of a lorry, had a uniform on and playing cards with some other soldiers, each one from a different army and time period…? Was this from a dream? Or did the pain of the Throne session warp the mind? Hehehe!

Got ready and did the ablutions – spent ages trying to get to every crevice to feel cleansed. Creams, medications and deodorants applied afterwards, but the smell still seemed to have lingered.

1Mon07Got dressed up well, I still can’t find the umbrella. Naturally, it was raining as I left the foyer.

Up by the magnificent looking Copse along the gravel path, taking my time and enjoying the wildlife and fauna as I poddled along.

Anne Gyna, Arthur Itis and even Duodenal Donald were being gentle with me, bless em!

1Mon08

I was under some trees looking up at the branches trying to locate a bird singing away but could not.

But I got a shot of this young lady as she cycled along the footpath with her child in a chair on the crossbars.

Some friendly dogs around that let me fuss them a bit, enjoyed that.

1Mon09Out and up the hill, and this gentleman came by from behind and gave me a start.

Over the crest and down to the traffic lights to cross over and onwards down to Valley Road.

The rain started to come a lot harder.

But no signs of interest from Diarrhea Derek bothering me, that was another good sign.

1Mon10Down the hill and looked back as this Herbert rode a little close to me for my liking. I’m pleased to report that the motorist turning into the side road gave the Pavement Cyclist a toot on his horn and made him wobble… and I just caught him in mid-wobble!

Turned left and crossed the two-stage Pelican Lights over to the other side of the dual carriageway.

1Mon12The wildflowers and weeds on the verges looked so fresh in the new rain.

I came across these Daisies that were bigger and larger than any I have ever seen, Bootiful they were.

I reckon the bigger ones were up 4 inches wide?

1Mon16I spotted this Pavement Cyclist (No problem with him at all, and the traffic was very heavy on the road), so saw him coming towards me and moved out of his way.

By gum, he was moving.

Realised the rain had almost stopped as I took this photographicalisation.

A few hundred yards further on the drizzle turned back into torrential rains – not that it bothered me too much mind – I was that wet anyway it would have been hard to get 1Mon11wetter without throwing myself into the stream further on, nearby.

I leant over the bridge and looked down into the stream or Brook whatever it was.

There were not many tings that had not been deposited in it along this stretch. Railings, shopping trolley and baskets, fag packets, Coke cans, Condoms, someone’s jacket, etc. A bit sad really.

As I approached the GUM clinic entrance, the rain increased, even more, it belted down! They could not help with my request for a date for the op but would let me know ASAP and reminded me I am still on the Standby List and do I still want to be on it? I said yes and thanked them.

Out into the wet rain and hobbled as fast as I could manage to the Phlebotomy Department, took the ticket and had a go at the Crosswords. The nurses were back in the proper Bay Area now, so it did not take them long to clear the queue, and I was in and being done in less than fifteen minutes! The nurse had a job stopping the vein bleeding again, but it didn’t bother her. Gave the nurses nibbles to her, thanked her and asked which way if there is one, can I go to get out at the other end of the site using inside corridors to avoid the rain? She explained to me, and I was off.

I was soon lost.

1Mon06

I eventually got to Edwards Lane and back up into Sherwood, through the Park and back down to the flats. Soaked through I was! Hehe!

Met Jenny and Frank, then Olive in the foyer and had a chinwag.

Then up to the flat and amazingly, did not need a visit to the Porcelain Throne! Watch it now, I’ll probably get Constipation next… Tsk, Hehe!

An hour updating this diary, and then I did have to visit the Throne, not a bad session at all.

Bravely I tried Facebooking, fully expectant of the Computer freezing or just becoming unresponsive.

Which it did, and I gave up.

1Mon17a

Got some fodder ready and did my best to eat it all.

The recent return of hunger had gone again now?

However, afterwards, in between nodding off sessions and I failed to view the DVD (Last of the Summer Wine Christmas Specials), I did nibble on some naughty snacks. Crisps Marmite, chocolate bar and rice peas.

Dizzy Dennis paid me a few visits.

Did the ablutions, took the medications and got the head down to sleep… which within about five hours I achieved! Humph!

TTFN each.

Inchcock – Sunday 14th May 2017

7Sun001

Sunday 14th May 2017

Hungarian: Vasárnap 14 Május 2017

Woke around 0100hrs, out of the £300 second-hand recliner and to the Porcelain Throne – barely in time, but avoided an Accifauxpa. A longer session this time, it was at least a good half-an-hour before I could be confident enough to return to the chair. This did, however, give me time to scribble some notes about the dreams I’d been having. It is so long since I remembered such detail of any dream. Seems, from the notes: I digested later when the memories had long gone. I was on a spaceship of some sort, with Tony Blair and his entourage, a ship attempted to dock with our vessel. Blair ordered us to shoot it… we oddly had a turret on top of the craft, and that was where I was, it had cling film covered 303 rifles in it as the weapons to use? I couldn’t find any ammunition clips that fitted, though. Dozens of them were laying around that seemed to fit different weapons?

The visiting ship docked and in came John Prescott! Blair immediately denied having any WMD on board, and Prescott hit him one – then insisted we take him to Moscow?

Back and got my head down again.

7Sun010300hrs: Wide awake with a jolt. And, once more in need of the temporarily Christened ‘Diarrhoea’s Porcelain Throne’. Hehe! Twenty minutes later, I’d clean things up and was in the kitchen and sorting out this week’s medication pots.

Five more minutes, and I was back on the Porcelain Throne again! Oh heck!

0330hrs: Finished the medication pots off and started the Health Checks. Innards still rumbling away?

7Sun02a

The weight keeps going down, mind?

0355hrs: Yes, you’ve guessed it, back on the Throne! I hope like yesterday, as the day goes on things will settle more.

Got Saturday’s diary finished and ready for posting and started this one off.

0450hrs: On the Throne, this time I read about ten pages of the book.

7Sun01aMade a cuppa and took the medications, the morning view was windy and bleak… most fitting under the circumstances I thought? Haha!

0625hrs: Unbelievably, I was back in the wetroom and seated painfully on the Throne yet again! This time, Duodenal Donald joined in giving me some grief. A long one this time. How can this be so, surely there is not that much room in the innards for all this?

0644hrs: Washed up, then creamed and medicated, generous amounts of fresh air spray and disinfectant distributed. Harold’s Haemorrhoids are bleeding more than ever now, Humph!

I’m still drinking a lot of liquids, can’t seem to stop doing so in fact. Tea, mineral water, tap water?

Took an extra Omeprazole to ease Donald a bit, with another cuppa hopefully.

Checked the Emails. Did some WordPress reading. Some good stuff out there today.

Made a Morrison order for next week, in case I’m still limited in my getting out stakes by Diahorrea Derek or Haemorrhoid Harold.

Onto Facebook, fingers crossed that Google doesn’t go unresponsive again, it has done so five times already today!

6Sat01a

Gave up on Facebook, every time I go on, Google Chrome freezes or becomes unstable.

Found the consultation on the colour of the flats note.

Dosed often, wherever I was all day? Even on the Throne.

Spent hours nodding watching TV and nodding off for a few minutes regularly.

Dizzy Dennis visited frequently and found myself being tortured inwardly by past errors mistakes and decisions.

Sister Jane phoned to see how I was, nice that.

Much rumbling continued, but the passings stopped for hours.

Z LizzTried to do some CorelDrawing.

Recoloured an old TFZ graphic of Lyzzi, but concentration prevented me getting it anywhere near how I wanted it.So gave up on that too.

So gave up on that too.

Made a goodish meal.

The fish was very nice indeed. I also ate it all up and had an apple afterwards.

7Sun06aThe sage & onion slices were tasty too.

Fell asleep before I could get the pots to the sink for cleaning.

Woke up around 1900hrs I reckon, didn’t move though, just put the TV on, good police programme on that I had nor seen before, headphones on poured a mug of orange juice and settled to enjoy it.

Nodded off at the first commercial break, woke again around 2300hrs.

The stomach was churning like never before. Took the evening medications very late. Off to the Porcelain Throne, much bleeding so much cleaning and sorting out had to be done.

Feeling rather awake, I got the book, made a mug of tea and settled down for a good read.

Fell asleep!

Inchcock – Saturday 13th May 2017: Risk nipping out for a hobble

6Sat01

Saturday 13th May 2017

Hausa: Saturday 13 May 2017

Hausa is a Chadic language with about 44 million speakers. It is spoken mainly in northern Nigeria and Niger, and also in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Eritrea, Germany, Ghana, Sudan and Togo.

0315hrs: I stirred to find the footstool cover in a bundle on the carpet? But first things first, an urgent need of the utilisation of the Porcelain Throne had to be responded to, so off to the wetroom I went. Not a pleasant experience, but I got a chance and the time to read the Emotions vade mecumsvade. Again, I reread what I had read to get it to sink into the brain so I could understand what she was writing and getting at. But it’s coming, and I am rather pleased that my persistence and progress, slow as it is.

Cleaned things up after ten minutes efforts and into the kitchen to put the kettle on, do the health checks and take the medications. I got as far as getting the kettle on and had to return to the Throne! A longer session this time, so I enjoyed reading the book again.

Back into the kitchen and did the checks, all right I think. Sys 150, Dia 80, Pulse 86, Temperature 35.5, and the weight down again! 14.59 which was nice, considering I did not have a meal yesterday but did nibble on and off, should I be glad? Took the medications with another anti-diarrhoea capsule.

6Sat03I felt rather visurient and decided to take a photographicalisation from the balcony of to the North to get the beautiful new greenery in the shot. Got into the front room and noticed the pile on the floor, so investigated.

Sometime during the night I’d wrapped up the slippers in the footstool cover and put it on the floor?

Released and put the slippers on (No wonder I couldn’t find them earlier, Tsk!) and replaced the tartan cover on the stool thingy.

At which time, another demand to use the Porcelain Throne arrived and had to be responded to, back into the wetroom and on with the book again. Getting fed-up with the bowel problems now. But, at least I got some reading in, and the previously copious evacuations had got far less this morning even if they were more frequent.

6Sat01Out onto the balcony and took the image.

Back to the kitchen to make the mug of tea, No desire for any food at the moment, not even a small pot of porridge interested me.

Got the computer on and as it started, yet another trip to the Throne had to be done. More reading less bothers but unfortunately, things had begun, Haemorrhoid Harold bleeding and cleaning and medicating was needed. So, currently, I thought I was doing well really. Duodenal Donald was being good to me, Arthur Itis very fair, Roger Reflux not bad at all, the right foot wound pain was easing off very well, Hernia Harry was in a good mood with me too. Only Anne Gyna and Diahorrea Derek were really bothersome. I decided to wait and see how things go before opting to risk a walk out today, cause sure as heck I’ll be trouble if the Trots start while I’m out and about. Oh dear!

Apart from Sister Jane and Pete and popping to take the keyboard stickers to Bill in flat 33, I’ve not spoken to or seen anyone for days now. Nice to know I could have been laying dead in the apartment and would have been no bother to anyone. Hehehe!

Got yesterday’s diary and the funny retirement poem finished and posted off.

The innards have started rumbling again now.

Started this post off and did the graphics.

Did some WordPressing, then went on Facebook to catch up with the TFZers.

Started some graphics.

Google Chrome keeps freezing repeatedly? Tsk!

Back to try and get back on. Gave up and got the ablutions done.

6Sat06Went out for a hobble into Sherwood and back.

I ranged up the hill through my beloved Copse. Bootiful… apart from the beer cans, crisp packets, McDonald’s boxes, plastic coffee cups etcetera.

Tsk!

Up to the path and left down in towards 6Sat07Mansfield Road.

Not too many folks around this lunchtime. But some were being taken a walk by their pet dogs, and I took a while to watch them and their differing antics when it comes to “Running and fetching the ball back” to the owners.

Some did so, some partly so and one actually looked in amazement at its owner, ignored the ball altogether and wandered off to have a pee near the trees. A Scottish Terrier dog that was, I think.

6Sat07aComing out of Woodthorpe Grange Park, and left up to the hill, a young Pavement Cyclist, who I assumed to be drunk or drugged was swaying all over the place on his little bike.

Up over the hill and down to the shops.

Called into Wilko and got some black refuse sacks.

6Sat12Then down into the Co-op store and got two cobs, potato waffles, a TV paper and some mushrooms. Got a £1 off my next £5 spend before May 20th voucher with my change.

Left the store and had a very slow hobble up Winchester Street hill.

As I approached the junction, two ‘Pavement Cycling youths passed me, nowhere close to me, mind.

6Sat08

They saw my camera and got off and pushed their bikes near where the pedestrians were. Jolly decent of them I thought. Well done lads!

The woman on the disability scooter banged into one of the chairs and broke it moments later, it would have been good to have caught her in the photo.

Up the hill, looking at flora and fauna occasionally. The legs and feet were not bad at all today.

Finally getting to Chestnut Walk and left down towards the flats. As I walked on the verge looking down through the trees and bushes I came across so much detritus it was disheartening.

6Sat09

6Sat10As I got near the bird poop covered seat, a squirrel was on the bench, and I decided to try and catch his image…

I was too slow.

Hehehe!

Further to the end to cross over the Walk to the flat entrance doors, and a lovely bird on the 6Sat10agrass caught my eye.

It was very windy, and his/her constant moving meant I had to take several shots before I could get one that was reasonable.

Shared the lift with two nurses up to the flat.

First things first, a visit to the Porcelain Throne, nicely times and not too bad a session… still had to clean things mad me up afterwards, though.

So glad I managed not to get caught out on the hobble, cause me taking my time could have cause problems?

6Sat11Got the purchases out of the bag.

Put the mushrooms with an added tiny tin of peas in the saucepan, got the oven warming up and then the computer on to update this tosh.

Several wee-wees were needed during this process, but no heavy duty session, despite the now rumbling innards again. Humph!

Fish into the heated oven added some of the waffles later, and Heigh-ho, off to the Porcelain Throne. Duodenal Donald had been and was bleeding and so very sore, and a session of mammoth proportions ensued.

6Sat12aServed the meal up, with the rather very much more well-done fish that I would have liked due to the time demands of the last Porcelain Session.

I thought it looked inviting and rather tasty, but the newly inflamed innards would not allow me to risk eating anywhere near all of it.

Somehow I did the health checks in between some false alarms and one or two mammoth, lengthy and messy evacuations. Sorry. It had to be said; I’m in a pickle here! Hehe!

Finally, the stomach seemed to settle down a bit.

Watch some of the “Still Open All Hours” DVD. As for nodding off, the rumbling, rambling, bubbling and grumbling that seemed to be getting suddenly worse again, made sure there was no kipping for ages.

Sister Jane rang to see how I was – I must have looked bad when they visited because she didn’t tell me off about anything? Hehehe!

Somehow I did the health checks in between checking things in the lower region, passing wind and belching.

Whenever sleep arrived, I don’t know, but I was up and on a mission to get to the Porcelain Throne on time at 0300hrs.

Inchcock – Friday 12th May 2017

5Fri01

Friday 12th May 2017

Haitian Creole: Vendredi 12 Me 2017

0325hrs: The previous four hours had been a terrible nightmare of Diarrhoea Daniel prompted pebble-dashing sessions on the Porcelain Throne. Very slowly, but thankfully these are receding now. How long for I don’t know. Getting far less frequent. Scared to have anything to eat now, though.

Did the Health Checks: Sys 148 – Dia 80 – Pulse 84 – Temp 36.2 – Weight 14.65

Took the morning medications with another ADR capsule, and made a mug of tea.

Updated yesterday’s diary and started this one off. Then off to Pebble-Dash the Porcelain Throne again. Far less urgency, mess and blood this time. On the wane, I think, even if only temporary until the next food intake, the relief is much appreciated.

5Fri02a0405hrs: Off to Pebble-Dash the Porcelain Throne again. Far less urgency, quantity, mayhem and blood this time. On the wane, I think, even if only temporary until the next food intake, the relief is much appreciated.

I banged the right foot on the corner of the cabinet, right on the tender wound scar! I nearly swore I can tell yer! Hehe!

5Fri04

Made another mug of tea, then I thought the view outside warranted an effort at getting a ‘Moody’ photographicalisation. Opened the window to hang out of to take this hopefully masterpiece. And I could hear the bird chicks demanding their breakfast. This was without any hearing aids in.

I don’t think it came out as particularly good, though.

Still, it did give me the opportunity to bang my head on the frame while closing the window. Tsk!

Did some WordPress reading.

What to eat with the least risk to the ‘Trots’ came to mind. I’ve got some Wonky potatoes in the cupboard. I thought I had some rice as Patti Beckert suggested, but can’t find it. Tsk! Will a bit of battered Cod fish and a few boiled potatoes be alright, without any tomatoes, beetroot or other embellishments?

5Fri05Getting the potatoes in the saucepan on a low light, I came across this misshapen one. Put it in with the others.

Then went on Facebook.

Then started doing some Graphicalisationing. Starting with one of Herr Lynton Cox.

Using a Mad Professor picture from Pixabay.

LyntLabThis is the result.

Hope Lynton likes this.

No calls to the Porcelain Throne in over an hour now, nearly two actually. The rumbling is still there in the innards

The rumbling is still there in the innards mind you, but far less volatile.

Flipping Heck! I just sneezed and found myself in immediate need of visiting for a pebble-dashing session on the Porcelain Throne!

Ian05BikeTen-minute later, I returned to write this paragraph, with water in my eyes! Hehe!

Did another graphicalisation, this one of Martin Shuttlecock.

I made this one into Sepia mode to fit in with the time period that suited it. He’s delivering beetroots with a bottle of Guinness and his trusty dog.

Then I moved on to make a start on a TFZer attempt at humour… but had a diversion again to the Porcelain Throne!

Oh, dear…

So tired and weak feeling.

Sat down and tried to get some rest or even sleep.

Only a few more movements were needed to the Throne, no more than eight or so all night. But the bubbling brewing and rumbling from the innards did not stop at all.

Could not muster any enthusiasm for anything, even thinking went out the window. Hehe!

I could not face doing any ablutions.

Took the medications but didn’t have a meal of sorts, I did nibble all night though, biscuit, crisps, potatoes, iced lolly even a bar of chocolate? A good sign perhaps?

TV on, Dizzy Dennis paid a few visits, and there were many visitations for a wee-wee throughout the night. Hours of nodding off and waking.

Hey-ho!

Today, a day of discomfort, depression and angst popped along,

Devoid of fun, contentment, direction, hope or song,

Not much occurring so this diary cannot be very long,

Times like this, I must have confidence and be strong,

Not like a Hero, to win me a gong,

But accept Whoopsiedangleplops are due to my failings all lifelong,

Porcelain Throne visits are like pebble dashing, and boy does it pong!

It’s payback for the things I’ve failed at and done wrong,

The wind escaping and rumbling innards the whole nightlong,

All night I was worrying and fretting; Why am I not strong?

If I went to Australia, would I recognise a Currajong?

Will Arthur Itis, Duodenal Donald, Dizzy Dennis be on-song?

Will I ever meet an alien, bigfoot, Elvis or King Kong?

Anyway, how does one sound an umlaut or diphthong?

I’ll settle for a mug of tea, but not Souchong,

Then wash out my protection pants and thong!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 9th May 2017

2Tue001a

Tuesday 9th May 2017

French Mardi 9 Mai 2017

0030hrs: Woke hanging half in and half out of the £300 second-hand recliner, the mind racing and worrying about all sorts of things, but these were overtaken by the need to visit the Porcelain Throne.

As I stood myself up, the big toe stung and reminded me of last nights ‘Toe Stubbing’ in the kitchen!

Haemorrhoid Harold had been and was bleeding a little, Anne Gyna was in a bad mood. Arthur Itis was the opposite and in a good mood with me. Duodenal Donald was far easier this morning, and Little Inchy had calmed down and not bleeding at all. No signs of Dizzy Dennis either. Looking good!

2Tue04 Took the medications and did the Health Checks. Again, looking okay, to me? The weight was up a bit though.

I had a read of the book Andy sent me, ‘Emotions’ again, but I’m having to read the same bits repeatedly. A clever or educated person wrote this.

With so much going on with the estimated timing of the orders from Amazon over the next few days confusing me, I consulted the Google diary:

2Tue03

I decided to send an email to the Doctor’s surgery, explaining I would not be able to get to my INR Blood test today, having to stay in because an email from Amazon told me the delivery would be arriving today. (We’ll see eh?) I can then go to the City Hospital for the blood test tomorrow, after Susan, the foot lady has visited me?

The other things ordered should be arriving over the next few days? Messy innit? Next time someone asks me to order something for them, I’ll think twice. Hehe!

Constant pain and hassle can be detrimental to one’s health, mental and otherwise.

Made a mug of tea and wrote the email and sent it to the Surgery.

Finished the Monday Diary and posted it, then started this one off.

01Did some Facebooking then.

Onto CorelDraw 2017 and did a graphic for the TFZer site.

One of the parcels arrived from Amazon via a despatch lorry. Now had time to fit in the INR Blood  Test today.

Did the ablutions and got changed and ready for the hobble to the hospital.

On the way out, I called at the flat of the chap whose name escapes me, who asked me to order the keyboard letters. He was not in. I left a copy of the Email about the delivery through his letterbox.

2Tue12I met Roys wife in the lobby and we had a laugh and chinwag.

As I got out to cross the road to the gravel path up to the Park, I realised how quiet it was… then went back up to the flat and got the one working hearing aid put in. Tsk!

Set out again, not through the park this time, but along to Winchester Hill and down into Sherwood, right at the traffic light junction and all the way down and left onto the Valley Ring Road.

Down to the next traffic island and right up and into the hospital grounds.

2Tue14

Passed some wonderful wildflowers, en route. Also, noticed they had extended the tennis courts. Including a new Petanque Court. Never heard of this game? I looked it up, it’s apparently a bit like Boules?

2Tue12a

2Tue15Entered by the side of the GUM clinic.

I thought about walking by the window in case the usual Hitlertarian receptionist was on duty to give him a wave… but decided against this. Haha!

To the top of the drive and right into the Phlebotomy Department, took a queue ticket from the machine, sat down and got the crossword book out. Half an hour later, my number was called out, and I limped to Clinic 2 Bay Three as instructed.

Soon got the sample taken and I was off, after giving the nurse some nibbles. The nurse was from Poland and she could not wait to go home she said.

I left and hobbled back to the flats by a different route this time a2Tue16nd ended up not sure where I was going. Fancy that!

I cut through private areas and woodland managing to get my bearings again.

Over the ring road and up into Sherwood.

The old legs and feet were aching well now!

Onto Mansfield Road, left over the hill and 2Tue17down to the entrance into Woodthorpe Grange Park.

Not many folks about now, some of the vehicle drivers had put their lights on.

Up through the park and right down by the Croft on my right, and was visited by Dizzy Dennis and he was not happy.

Got in, wee-wee’d and made this map of the route I’d hobbled.

2Tue06

Dizzy Dennis had another go at me. I had a pot of porridge.

Updated this tosh again. Facebooked a while.

Had another pot of porridge, stomach rumbling joined in now. Blimey, Dizzy Dennis again, and Haemorrhoid Harold has forced me to clean up and put the protective pants on again. I’m going to get a cup of tea, take the medications and just sit down.

See’s you laters alligators.
