Inchcock – Saturday 13th May 2017: Risk nipping out for a hobble

6Sat01

Saturday 13th May 2017

Hausa: Saturday 13 May 2017

Hausa is a Chadic language with about 44 million speakers. It is spoken mainly in northern Nigeria and Niger, and also in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Eritrea, Germany, Ghana, Sudan and Togo.

0315hrs: I stirred to find the footstool cover in a bundle on the carpet? But first things first, an urgent need of the utilisation of the Porcelain Throne had to be responded to, so off to the wetroom I went. Not a pleasant experience, but I got a chance and the time to read the Emotions vade mecumsvade. Again, I reread what I had read to get it to sink into the brain so I could understand what she was writing and getting at. But it’s coming, and I am rather pleased that my persistence and progress, slow as it is.

Cleaned things up after ten minutes efforts and into the kitchen to put the kettle on, do the health checks and take the medications. I got as far as getting the kettle on and had to return to the Throne! A longer session this time, so I enjoyed reading the book again.

Back into the kitchen and did the checks, all right I think. Sys 150, Dia 80, Pulse 86, Temperature 35.5, and the weight down again! 14.59 which was nice, considering I did not have a meal yesterday but did nibble on and off, should I be glad? Took the medications with another anti-diarrhoea capsule.

6Sat03I felt rather visurient and decided to take a photographicalisation from the balcony of to the North to get the beautiful new greenery in the shot. Got into the front room and noticed the pile on the floor, so investigated.

Sometime during the night I’d wrapped up the slippers in the footstool cover and put it on the floor?

Released and put the slippers on (No wonder I couldn’t find them earlier, Tsk!) and replaced the tartan cover on the stool thingy.

At which time, another demand to use the Porcelain Throne arrived and had to be responded to, back into the wetroom and on with the book again. Getting fed-up with the bowel problems now. But, at least I got some reading in, and the previously copious evacuations had got far less this morning even if they were more frequent.

6Sat01Out onto the balcony and took the image.

Back to the kitchen to make the mug of tea, No desire for any food at the moment, not even a small pot of porridge interested me.

Got the computer on and as it started, yet another trip to the Throne had to be done. More reading less bothers but unfortunately, things had begun, Haemorrhoid Harold bleeding and cleaning and medicating was needed. So, currently, I thought I was doing well really. Duodenal Donald was being good to me, Arthur Itis very fair, Roger Reflux not bad at all, the right foot wound pain was easing off very well, Hernia Harry was in a good mood with me too. Only Anne Gyna and Diahorrea Derek were really bothersome. I decided to wait and see how things go before opting to risk a walk out today, cause sure as heck I’ll be trouble if the Trots start while I’m out and about. Oh dear!

Apart from Sister Jane and Pete and popping to take the keyboard stickers to Bill in flat 33, I’ve not spoken to or seen anyone for days now. Nice to know I could have been laying dead in the apartment and would have been no bother to anyone. Hehehe!

Got yesterday’s diary and the funny retirement poem finished and posted off.

The innards have started rumbling again now.

Started this post off and did the graphics.

Did some WordPressing, then went on Facebook to catch up with the TFZers.

Started some graphics.

Google Chrome keeps freezing repeatedly? Tsk!

Back to try and get back on. Gave up and got the ablutions done.

6Sat06Went out for a hobble into Sherwood and back.

I ranged up the hill through my beloved Copse. Bootiful… apart from the beer cans, crisp packets, McDonald’s boxes, plastic coffee cups etcetera.

Tsk!

Up to the path and left down in towards 6Sat07Mansfield Road.

Not too many folks around this lunchtime. But some were being taken a walk by their pet dogs, and I took a while to watch them and their differing antics when it comes to “Running and fetching the ball back” to the owners.

Some did so, some partly so and one actually looked in amazement at its owner, ignored the ball altogether and wandered off to have a pee near the trees. A Scottish Terrier dog that was, I think.

6Sat07aComing out of Woodthorpe Grange Park, and left up to the hill, a young Pavement Cyclist, who I assumed to be drunk or drugged was swaying all over the place on his little bike.

Up over the hill and down to the shops.

Called into Wilko and got some black refuse sacks.

6Sat12Then down into the Co-op store and got two cobs, potato waffles, a TV paper and some mushrooms. Got a £1 off my next £5 spend before May 20th voucher with my change.

Left the store and had a very slow hobble up Winchester Street hill.

As I approached the junction, two ‘Pavement Cycling youths passed me, nowhere close to me, mind.

6Sat08

They saw my camera and got off and pushed their bikes near where the pedestrians were. Jolly decent of them I thought. Well done lads!

The woman on the disability scooter banged into one of the chairs and broke it moments later, it would have been good to have caught her in the photo.

Up the hill, looking at flora and fauna occasionally. The legs and feet were not bad at all today.

Finally getting to Chestnut Walk and left down towards the flats. As I walked on the verge looking down through the trees and bushes I came across so much detritus it was disheartening.

6Sat09

6Sat10As I got near the bird poop covered seat, a squirrel was on the bench, and I decided to try and catch his image…

I was too slow.

Hehehe!

Further to the end to cross over the Walk to the flat entrance doors, and a lovely bird on the 6Sat10agrass caught my eye.

It was very windy, and his/her constant moving meant I had to take several shots before I could get one that was reasonable.

Shared the lift with two nurses up to the flat.

First things first, a visit to the Porcelain Throne, nicely times and not too bad a session… still had to clean things mad me up afterwards, though.

So glad I managed not to get caught out on the hobble, cause me taking my time could have cause problems?

6Sat11Got the purchases out of the bag.

Put the mushrooms with an added tiny tin of peas in the saucepan, got the oven warming up and then the computer on to update this tosh.

Several wee-wees were needed during this process, but no heavy duty session, despite the now rumbling innards again. Humph!

Fish into the heated oven added some of the waffles later, and Heigh-ho, off to the Porcelain Throne. Duodenal Donald had been and was bleeding and so very sore, and a session of mammoth proportions ensued.

6Sat12aServed the meal up, with the rather very much more well-done fish that I would have liked due to the time demands of the last Porcelain Session.

I thought it looked inviting and rather tasty, but the newly inflamed innards would not allow me to risk eating anywhere near all of it.

Somehow I did the health checks in between some false alarms and one or two mammoth, lengthy and messy evacuations. Sorry. It had to be said; I’m in a pickle here! Hehe!

Finally, the stomach seemed to settle down a bit.

Watch some of the “Still Open All Hours” DVD. As for nodding off, the rumbling, rambling, bubbling and grumbling that seemed to be getting suddenly worse again, made sure there was no kipping for ages.

Sister Jane rang to see how I was – I must have looked bad when they visited because she didn’t tell me off about anything? Hehehe!

Somehow I did the health checks in between checking things in the lower region, passing wind and belching.

Whenever sleep arrived, I don’t know, but I was up and on a mission to get to the Porcelain Throne on time at 0300hrs.

Inchcock – Friday 12th May 2017

5Fri01

Friday 12th May 2017

Haitian Creole: Vendredi 12 Me 2017

0325hrs: The previous four hours had been a terrible nightmare of Diarrhoea Daniel prompted pebble-dashing sessions on the Porcelain Throne. Very slowly, but thankfully these are receding now. How long for I don’t know. Getting far less frequent. Scared to have anything to eat now, though.

Did the Health Checks: Sys 148 – Dia 80 – Pulse 84 – Temp 36.2 – Weight 14.65

Took the morning medications with another ADR capsule, and made a mug of tea.

Updated yesterday’s diary and started this one off. Then off to Pebble-Dash the Porcelain Throne again. Far less urgency, mess and blood this time. On the wane, I think, even if only temporary until the next food intake, the relief is much appreciated.

5Fri02a0405hrs: Off to Pebble-Dash the Porcelain Throne again. Far less urgency, quantity, mayhem and blood this time. On the wane, I think, even if only temporary until the next food intake, the relief is much appreciated.

I banged the right foot on the corner of the cabinet, right on the tender wound scar! I nearly swore I can tell yer! Hehe!

5Fri04

Made another mug of tea, then I thought the view outside warranted an effort at getting a ‘Moody’ photographicalisation. Opened the window to hang out of to take this hopefully masterpiece. And I could hear the bird chicks demanding their breakfast. This was without any hearing aids in.

I don’t think it came out as particularly good, though.

Still, it did give me the opportunity to bang my head on the frame while closing the window. Tsk!

Did some WordPress reading.

What to eat with the least risk to the ‘Trots’ came to mind. I’ve got some Wonky potatoes in the cupboard. I thought I had some rice as Patti Beckert suggested, but can’t find it. Tsk! Will a bit of battered Cod fish and a few boiled potatoes be alright, without any tomatoes, beetroot or other embellishments?

5Fri05Getting the potatoes in the saucepan on a low light, I came across this misshapen one. Put it in with the others.

Then went on Facebook.

Then started doing some Graphicalisationing. Starting with one of Herr Lynton Cox.

Using a Mad Professor picture from Pixabay.

LyntLabThis is the result.

Hope Lynton likes this.

No calls to the Porcelain Throne in over an hour now, nearly two actually. The rumbling is still there in the innards

The rumbling is still there in the innards mind you, but far less volatile.

Flipping Heck! I just sneezed and found myself in immediate need of visiting for a pebble-dashing session on the Porcelain Throne!

Ian05BikeTen-minute later, I returned to write this paragraph, with water in my eyes! Hehe!

Did another graphicalisation, this one of Martin Shuttlecock.

I made this one into Sepia mode to fit in with the time period that suited it. He’s delivering beetroots with a bottle of Guinness and his trusty dog.

Then I moved on to make a start on a TFZer attempt at humour… but had a diversion again to the Porcelain Throne!

Oh, dear…

So tired and weak feeling.

Sat down and tried to get some rest or even sleep.

Only a few more movements were needed to the Throne, no more than eight or so all night. But the bubbling brewing and rumbling from the innards did not stop at all.

Could not muster any enthusiasm for anything, even thinking went out the window. Hehe!

I could not face doing any ablutions.

Took the medications but didn’t have a meal of sorts, I did nibble all night though, biscuit, crisps, potatoes, iced lolly even a bar of chocolate? A good sign perhaps?

TV on, Dizzy Dennis paid a few visits, and there were many visitations for a wee-wee throughout the night. Hours of nodding off and waking.

Hey-ho!

Today, a day of discomfort, depression and angst popped along,

Devoid of fun, contentment, direction, hope or song,

Not much occurring so this diary cannot be very long,

Times like this, I must have confidence and be strong,

Not like a Hero, to win me a gong,

But accept Whoopsiedangleplops are due to my failings all lifelong,

Porcelain Throne visits are like pebble dashing, and boy does it pong!

It’s payback for the things I’ve failed at and done wrong,

The wind escaping and rumbling innards the whole nightlong,

All night I was worrying and fretting; Why am I not strong?

If I went to Australia, would I recognise a Currajong?

Will Arthur Itis, Duodenal Donald, Dizzy Dennis be on-song?

Will I ever meet an alien, bigfoot, Elvis or King Kong?

Anyway, how does one sound an umlaut or diphthong?

I’ll settle for a mug of tea, but not Souchong,

Then wash out my protection pants and thong!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 9th May 2017

2Tue001a

Tuesday 9th May 2017

French Mardi 9 Mai 2017

0030hrs: Woke hanging half in and half out of the £300 second-hand recliner, the mind racing and worrying about all sorts of things, but these were overtaken by the need to visit the Porcelain Throne.

As I stood myself up, the big toe stung and reminded me of last nights ‘Toe Stubbing’ in the kitchen!

Haemorrhoid Harold had been and was bleeding a little, Anne Gyna was in a bad mood. Arthur Itis was the opposite and in a good mood with me. Duodenal Donald was far easier this morning, and Little Inchy had calmed down and not bleeding at all. No signs of Dizzy Dennis either. Looking good!

2Tue04 Took the medications and did the Health Checks. Again, looking okay, to me? The weight was up a bit though.

I had a read of the book Andy sent me, ‘Emotions’ again, but I’m having to read the same bits repeatedly. A clever or educated person wrote this.

With so much going on with the estimated timing of the orders from Amazon over the next few days confusing me, I consulted the Google diary:

2Tue03

I decided to send an email to the Doctor’s surgery, explaining I would not be able to get to my INR Blood test today, having to stay in because an email from Amazon told me the delivery would be arriving today. (We’ll see eh?) I can then go to the City Hospital for the blood test tomorrow, after Susan, the foot lady has visited me?

The other things ordered should be arriving over the next few days? Messy innit? Next time someone asks me to order something for them, I’ll think twice. Hehe!

Constant pain and hassle can be detrimental to one’s health, mental and otherwise.

Made a mug of tea and wrote the email and sent it to the Surgery.

Finished the Monday Diary and posted it, then started this one off.

01Did some Facebooking then.

Onto CorelDraw 2017 and did a graphic for the TFZer site.

One of the parcels arrived from Amazon via a despatch lorry. Now had time to fit in the INR Blood  Test today.

Did the ablutions and got changed and ready for the hobble to the hospital.

On the way out, I called at the flat of the chap whose name escapes me, who asked me to order the keyboard letters. He was not in. I left a copy of the Email about the delivery through his letterbox.

2Tue12I met Roys wife in the lobby and we had a laugh and chinwag.

As I got out to cross the road to the gravel path up to the Park, I realised how quiet it was… then went back up to the flat and got the one working hearing aid put in. Tsk!

Set out again, not through the park this time, but along to Winchester Hill and down into Sherwood, right at the traffic light junction and all the way down and left onto the Valley Ring Road.

Down to the next traffic island and right up and into the hospital grounds.

2Tue14

Passed some wonderful wildflowers, en route. Also, noticed they had extended the tennis courts. Including a new Petanque Court. Never heard of this game? I looked it up, it’s apparently a bit like Boules?

2Tue12a

2Tue15Entered by the side of the GUM clinic.

I thought about walking by the window in case the usual Hitlertarian receptionist was on duty to give him a wave… but decided against this. Haha!

To the top of the drive and right into the Phlebotomy Department, took a queue ticket from the machine, sat down and got the crossword book out. Half an hour later, my number was called out, and I limped to Clinic 2 Bay Three as instructed.

Soon got the sample taken and I was off, after giving the nurse some nibbles. The nurse was from Poland and she could not wait to go home she said.

I left and hobbled back to the flats by a different route this time a2Tue16nd ended up not sure where I was going. Fancy that!

I cut through private areas and woodland managing to get my bearings again.

Over the ring road and up into Sherwood.

The old legs and feet were aching well now!

Onto Mansfield Road, left over the hill and 2Tue17down to the entrance into Woodthorpe Grange Park.

Not many folks about now, some of the vehicle drivers had put their lights on.

Up through the park and right down by the Croft on my right, and was visited by Dizzy Dennis and he was not happy.

Got in, wee-wee’d and made this map of the route I’d hobbled.

2Tue06

Dizzy Dennis had another go at me. I had a pot of porridge.

Updated this tosh again. Facebooked a while.

Had another pot of porridge, stomach rumbling joined in now. Blimey, Dizzy Dennis again, and Haemorrhoid Harold has forced me to clean up and put the protective pants on again. I’m going to get a cup of tea, take the medications and just sit down.

See’s you laters alligators.

Inchcock – Monday 8th May 2017: Nature hobble, Whoopsidenagleplop and Accifauxpa, today. Tsk!

1Mon001

Monday 8th May 2017

Filipino: Lunes Mayo 8, 2017

0405hrs: Up, out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off for a wee-wee. Did the ablutions while in the wetroom. Little Inchy not bleeding, but sore as heck, Haemorrhoid Harold leaking just a bit, Duodenal Donald I could sense was getting ready to give me more bother today, and Dennis Dizzy had a go at me twice while I was in there ablutionalisationing.

Did the Health Checks and finalised last week’s log. All right I reckon?

6Sat04

Creamed the areas in need. Took the medications and made a good strong mug of tea.

1Mon02Viewed the scenery outside and pondered on the plans for the day: Morrison Delivery arriving 0630>0730hrs, wanted to go and feed the ducks various birds at the Nottingham Arboretum, then go to the bank with the details needed and ask them for assistance with changing my address with the new pension company. Oh, I must call Jenny to tell her I will be going to the nosh session and ask her for the number of the computer engineer she recommended a while ago. Also, get some bread and vegetables. Then remembered I’ve to sort all the bank paperwork back into the dedicated folders. Made myself tired thinking of it all. Hehe! I’ll see what gets done eh?

Did some WordPress reading as I waited for the food to arrive – while consuming another mug of tea of course. Then recalled I’d ordered it for Thursday twixt 0800>0900hrs. Huh!

I rang Jenny, and she said the Computer man is no longer working, but she will get a number for another and let me know it later.

Did some Facebooking and then got the things and me ready to set off into town. Took the waste bin bags to the chute and replaced them with new ones ready, and took the empty, cleaned jars with me in the bag.

Down in the lift, met Olive and had a natter with her, then took the jars to the recycling bin and joined several other tenants waiting for the bus in the foyer. Another chinwag I enjoyed.

1Mon01Caught the L9 to town and dropped off at the terminus.

Crossed over the road by the tram stop, and hobbled down and up the hill to the Nottingham Arboretum Pond area.

Hardly anyone about, apart from students from the local Trent colleges.

Had a pleasant few minutes talking to the Mallard Ducks and their ducklings along with the pigeons who all came boldly to me and dined well.

1Mon07

The baby Mallards showed no fear at all, and even competed with the other birds to get at the food!

1Mon02Many female University Students about on the way back, in the howling winds and nearly wearing clothes. Hehe!

Hobbled to Victoria Centre (Mall) and called in Tesco. Got some Vegetarian Cottage Pie, a large Quorn one. Selling at £2 from £2.68 on Offer, fresh garden peas and Sourdough Bread.

Wandered up to the Fruit & Veg Market and got a few more pod peas. Wandered around Boots store.

1Mon04I liked the vehicle the Thai restaurant was using to advertise for themselves.

Out and over the road to Wilko. Got a reduced throw thingy, £8 down to £4. Body spray at 50p a small can and Citrus air spray on offer from £3 to £1.50.

Out and over the road to Wilko. Got a reduced throw thingy, £8 down to £4. Body spray at 50p a small can and Citrus air spray on offer from £3 to £1.50.

Then back to the L9 bus stop. Met the lady I chatted with on the way out, and we demolished some of the pod peas between us. Hehe!

A nasty looking accident between a taxi and a bus at the junction of Milton Street and Upper Parliament Street.

Chinwagged and had a laugh with the lady tenant en route home.

1Mon06I stayed on the bus and went on into Sherwood, to the bank.

Gave a bloke the details as requested while the two people that had been dealing with my problems stood behind with some paperwork sorting – they did not even acknowledge me. I bet something else will be needed or go wrong and either Christine the advisor or Lisa the manager will be in touch again within a week or so. No confidence in them at all.

1Mon09

Took this zoomed-on picture of the far end up the hill, of Dornoch Avenue. Poor folks dwellings at the bottom, wealthy ones at the top?

Hobbled up Winchester Street Hill to the flat. Where I met a bloke who asked me to order some white on black keypad stickers for him from eBay. Said I would.

Got in and had a wee-wee, put the bits away and got the pod peas cooking, then put the Cottage Pie in the oven. (Although I failed to put the power on to the cooker, so an hour or so later I turned off the peas and heated the oven properly and waited for it to heat up. Twit!)

Ordered the things for the chap, but not on eBay but Amazon, where I found them cheaper for him.

Got a message back from Amazon – order refused – I’d used the old bank card. Humph! Went back to the site and changed to the new card. Then did the order again, cause it was refused again. Tsk! Finally got confirmation it had been taken alright. After two hours of faffing around.

 Updated this article.

1Mon08Went on Facebook while the oven heated up.

I’d grated some strong cheese on the top of the mashed potatoes on the ‘On Offer Priced’ Quorn Pie. Put some demerara sugar in with the podded peas.

I have to say, it was a yummy meal, one of the best for a while.

Rated this one at worthy 9.55/10. Hope that they are still on offer next time I go to Tesco again.

A Torchwood DVD was watched for a while from the box set. I think this series got worse the longer it ran, too complicated for me to follow.

Turned to the gogglebox later, and started the nodding off for a few minutes, wake up to find another programme on now, repetitions routine. Tsk!

Nipped into the kitchen to get a mug of orange juice from the fridge…

Whoopsiedangleplop / Accifauxpa time had arrived! I decided to wash the pots while in the kitchen… cut down the finger nail again with a knife, banged right knee of the cupboard door under the sink and overfilled the orange juice in the mug and had a right mess to clean up!

Back to the £300 second-hand recliner, I turned off the TV and settled, soon started to drift off… Then the fretting began: ‘Did I turn off the tap?’, ‘Did I close the fridge door properly?’, ‘Did I leave the light on?’, ‘Did I leave the plug in the sink’ and ‘Did I leave the stove on?’… I could not settle until these worries were resolved.

Just had to go to investigate. That was when I stubbed my toe on the heater leg. Not just a standard stub, oh, no… this one almost made me yell out with agony!

Took an extra Codeine Phosphate and rubbed some pain gel on the tootsies and back to the £300 second-hand recliner and tried to relax again… Huh, as if!

Then, started worrying about my needless, or was it, worrying again? Everything that came into my mind seemed of a concerning, panicky, trepidation or consternation… was I turning into a masochist? Then I could not remember if I checked all my previous concerns in the kitchen, out of the recliner, limping a little more now after the good stubbing and checked the things…

I’d left the small ring on the cooker on. Turned it off, and once again returned limpingly to the chair with hopes of sleep foremost in my mind and seeking imperturbation.

Poor old thing! Hehehe!

Inchcock – Sunday 7th May 2017

7Sun001

Sunday 7th May 2017

Finnish: Sunnuntai 07 Toukokuu 2017

7Sun01a0400hrs: Woke with a start, the dream I was having fresh in my mind, wrote down notes first thing I did. Then out of the £300 second-hand recliner and got on the computer to make a representation, best I could, of the dream.

I was out in the rain, trying to creosote a new garden shed in someone’s garden. With ogres (They didn’t look like these in the picture, but were not far off) in the background encouraging me with friendly ugs and growls that were not threatening at all, they seemed to be really intent on my succeeding with this impossible mission to get the shed creosoted? I recall I was licking the liquid as it splashed onto me? Every time I swiped the brush down the wood, it vanished? Ah. well.

After doing the graphic, I tried to sort myself out. No rubbish around the chair this morning, the washing from last nights meal had been all done and sorted, though I cannot remember doing it? But I do recall how tasty it was. I must try these Quorn imitation Beef Steaks again when they are on offer.

A visit to the porcelain throne went well, very well. No more bleeding from anywhere either.

7Sun02aEspied some more bits of the foil-like stuff from the laundry room on the carpet?

Perhaps one of the machine drums is flaking bits off? I’ll have a look when I’m down again.

Could it be we are bringing it up on our shoes as well as the washed clothes? Inspector Inchcock will investigate! Haha!

I got the new potatoes in the Crock-Pot on low and shelled the last of the pod peas and into the saucepan with some demerara sugar added ready to simmer later.

Made a mug of tea and got the Health-Checks done. Sys 161, Dia 87, Pulse 96, Temperature 35.9, Weight 14.72.

Took the medications with the tea for a change.

7Sun01Went to turn off the storage heater in the hallway as part of the enforced economy drive, and found a note had been posted through the letter box. I nearly picked up the phone to let Jenny (I keep calling her Penny for some reason, and she doesn’t like it at all, Tsk!) know, that I will be going but realised how early it was in time and stopped myself. Whoopsiedangleplop prevented there! Phew!

The computer utilised to update and finalise the last diary and to start this one off. I enjoyed making the graphic of the dream.

6Sat12aThen I did some WordPress reading.

Hung out of the window to see if the Morrison van was arriving, then like a shot me keen, alert mind realised it was Sunday, and I had the Morrison delivery yesterday.

Made a clot of myself when answering one of the comments from Orb80, trying to spell aurevoiur, and the spellchecker didn’t suggest what I wanted. Found out it should have been Au Revoir eventually. Tsk!

Then I tried one of the dream interpretation sites with details of last night’s dream and got this back:

7Sun02b

So, it seems I need a good emotional cleaning – I’m having secrets kept from me – The place within my psyche to store my ideas? – I might, have a bloom in my life, or need one – and: It’s time to cultivate a new relationship and nurture and grow aspects of my life.

Clear as mud, that. Yet interesting all the same.

Got the pod peas simmering in the pan, then went of Facebooking.

Car

Did some Graphicalisationing. TFZer Sandie and me in the Woods with her car. Hehe!

7Sun06dGot the meal sorted.

Very passable indeed. I cooked the last of the peas instead of having them raw for a change.

Watched some DVD without falling asleep.

Changed to TV to watch some football and a film.

Still didn’t fall asleep. In fact, I became unsure of when the next INR blood test and the visit to the bank were – got the computer on to check the calendar – and it wouldn’t load, the working symbol came on and nothing else? Turned all the power off and tried again, and it loaded? Oh dear!

Settled in the £300 second-hand recliner again and watched som more TV – still not nodding off?

Don’t know when, but it must have been hours later I drifted off into slumber.

Inchcock – Thursday 4th May 2017: Voted in the elections today, visited the Mallards and food shopped

4Thur01.jpg

Thursday 4th May 2017

Galician: Xoves 4 de maio de 2017

Woke around 0300hrs, tried and failed to remember the dreams, then actually managed to nod off again.

0500hrs: Up and to the porcelain throne – things easing I think in the ‘Trots’ department, but you never can tell. Duodenal Donald was easier, but Anne Gyna bad, very little 4Thur02bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harold.

Made a brew and took the morning medications, then carried out the Health Checks, the pulse beating away merrily again.

Oh dear, the milk had gone off!

Weight the same as yesterday.

Another summons to the Porcelain Throne received… not so comfortable this one.

Ablutions completed.

Nipped down and voted.

Visited the Porcelain Throne.

Computer started and diaries caught up with.

Did some WordPress reading.

Did a Morrison order for Saturday delivery. Searched for a Shoe Zone store in Nottingham so I could get some brown velcro closing shoes later. One found situated in Arnold, so I set off to catch the L9 bus into Arnold. Visited the Porcelain Throne to be on the safe side.

Jolly nice natter with the other tenants at the bus-stop, and caught the bus into Daybrook, dropping off at Sainsbury’s store. Wandered around, and spotted they had some vegetarian food on offer. Ended up getting Quorn Peppered Steaks and Cocktail Sausages, some fresh pod peas and English Vine tomatoes.

4Thur03Paid up and took a walk down to the Arno Hill Park, to feed the Mallard ducks. Only took about ten minutes to limp there.

As I entered the grounds, these bushes caught me attention.

I thought they were beautiful looking.

Hobbled to the pond come lake and had to 4Thur04smile at this toddler as he got down on his knees and tried to stroke some of the ducks and pigeons, giggling away merrily as he did so.

Bless him!

I kept feeding them so he could have his fun. I think I was enjoying myself as much as the little tyke himself was? Hehe!

4Thur06

4Thur05

All my worries and fretting, lack of self-confidence and even Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald left me for a moment or tow was I spoke with the birds and took their photographs, to replaced by temporary contentment in the sunshine covered park.

Stress is the child of the frenetic pace and antisocialism of the modern world?

Eventually, I forced myself to walk out of the greenery and up back into Arnold. So much hobbling recently to blame I assume, for the feet burning and stinging away after such a short hike with the bag?

Arrived in Arnold about 15 minutes later and window shopped as I made my way to the Shoe Zone place, calling into the Fulton Foods shop to get a bottle of sterilised milk.

Once in the store, I soon found just what I was looking for. A pair of brown shoes with Velcro fasteners, @ £15.00, and a pair of insoles for a quid. Even tried the contactless payment there, and it worked! Paid and thanked the young lady and crossed over the road to the Asda (Walmart) store for a look round, as I had plenty of time before the bus was due.

Got some fish-sticks and Marmite Crisps.

4Thur07To the bus stop and had 12 minutes to wait.

19 minutes later it had still not arrived. I was beginning to think of how and where to catch another bus into town and drop off in Sherwood and walk up the hill back to the flats.

A couple of minutes later the bus turned up – thankfully saving me an extra uphill hobble. Hehe!

4Thur08 Glad it came, so glad.

At the next stop, a lady from the 14th floor of the flats got on and we chatted – at the next stop after that one, her husband got on, and we stopped chatting.

45 minutes later we were back at the flats and going up the lift. I said my farewells and made my way to the apartment and utilised the Porcelain Throne facility (Again!)

4Thur09Put the food bought away. Took the new shoes to the spare room.

Got a few baby potatoes on the boil.

Made a good strong mug of tea and took the belated midday medications and did the Health Checks.

The pulse was a bit higher.

Started the computer and updated this diary. Did some WordPress catch-up. Then got to Facebooking catch-up at last.

4Thur11Got the fodder ready.

Excellent!

No bread, cause I had some potatoes.

The fish sticks both cheap and the expensive were delicious… well it all was really.

And none of the peas escaped either. Hehe!

Evening tests and medication taken.

For some reason, sleep was impossible. Oh yes, I could nod off for a few minutes but each time I sprang awake, I either needed a wee-wee, passed a massive blast of wind or scratched at the itch under my left arm. Hehe! It was tiring and frustrating.

I was still awake at 0300hrs as I recall.

Humph!

Inchcock – Wednesday 3rd May 2017

3Wed03

Wednesday 3rd May 2017

Bulgarian: Сряда 03 Май 2017

After a bad night of many up and to the Porcelain Throne trips and back to the £300 second-hand recliner, I gave up trying to sleep and rose around 0410hrs.

Somehow I managed to get some dreams in, although no details remain in my fuddled mind. Just a sensation of shame and guilt?

The area around the recliner was once more littered with unfathomable articles. The quilt cover thing3Wed07y to the chair was discarded, the headphone connection to the cable had been pulled out, some INR Anticoagulation Records sheets were scattered around, the old mobile that I use to play snake on and all remote controls were on the floor! The back cushion laying on the old chair next to it?

The new mobile it seems, I’d been sleeping on, that was on the cushion, and that cushion had been placed above the haemorrhoid ring one? The lid to the ottoman was half opened, and the waste bin lid had been wedged open? Cleared it up and reset everything, with a puzzled brain as to what, how and why these things had been done. Going bonkers perhaps?

3Wed04The innards demanded the use of the porcelain throne again… messy. Cleaned things up and added a diarrhoea relief capsule to the morning medications pot.

Put the short-dated reduced in price belly pork I got from Tesco yesterday in the Crock-Pot and got it going. Unsure if this was a good idea with the innards rumbling and running frequently again?

Did the Health Checks.

3Wed08a

Back to the Porcelain Throne, false alarm this time, all wind.

Made a mug of tea and took the medications. Hoping the Morrison’s capsules will work as well as they did last time I needed them.

Finalised the diary for Tuesday and started this one off.

Back to the Porcelain Throne, cleaned up afterwards and back on the computer.

3Wed08aDid some WordPress reading.

Tried to some graphicationalisationing, but emails and alerts coming in at a fast rate.

Results of the INR blood test email from the surgery arrived.

Back on with the graphics.

Got one finished eventually, CorelDraw 2017

biLyzzi.jpg

kept crashing and acting odd, not letting me do some things?

But I manage to get this one done and finished, not one of my best efforts, but I was getting fed-up with the problems. Tsk!

3Wed09Oh, the pork cooking…

Saved the day with the pork, but it got cold by the time I failed to clean the Crock-pot, pot if you see what I mean?

Left it soaking in bleach, washing up liquid and oven cleaner, while I tried to eat the meal. Which, went down alright.

Put a Vicar of Dibley DVD in and settled to watch it.

Withing minutes I had to visit the Porcelain Throne – Oh, dear!

Cleaned things up, and went into the kitchen to make a mug of tea and get the medications. While in there I did my best to clean the Crock-Pot bowl, but it is still stained so much, it looks terrible. Tsk!

Got some nibbles in the bag for the morning, to donate to the voting/election staff at the Winwood Community Hut.

Back to the DVD.

Nodded off. Woke and found a missed call from Sister Jane. Rang her back, then she rang me again. Nice to hear from her. I got another demand for the Throne while gossiping with Jane and had to abandon the call hastily – but got there just in time.

Once more back to the DVD and managed to watch all the episodes. Changed to the TV and nodded off again.

Had to climb out of the £300 second-hand recliner and to the Throne, again.

Nodded-off once more.

Inchcock – Tuesday 2nd May 2017: Marathon hobble, and tram rides today! Late attack of the Runs!

3Wed0001

Tuesday 2nd May 2017

Czech: Úterý 02.05.2017

Woke and up 0330hrs, the dreams I’d think I was having lingered for a moment before drifting off into the ether Tsk! No notes found on the pad either.

2Tue001aNoticed the scribbled note I’d left on the computer scene to remind me of the INR Blood Test with the Surgery nurse later today.

Alighting the £300 second-hand recliner Dizzy Dennis paid me a visit, getting to my feet I found a collection of items on the floor… torch, remote control, pencil, notepad, a squashed tube of Betamethasone cream and a spoon scattered about?

I wondered what I must have been dreaming about that might have caused this mess… Hehehe!

Had a pot of the high protein Porridge for the first time. Very filling, but no better taste than the usual cheapo ones.

Had a search for the INR record card and bus pass without any luck. Humph! Then did the Health Checks.  2Tue04 The body temperature had gone up again.

Found the bus-pass.

2Tue03It was cold this morning, a bit of mist lingering in the air.

Another thing, the twisting outwards of the right ankle was far less pronounced?

What’s going on today?

Arthur Itis in a good mood, Duodenal Donald far easier, Anne Gyna being kind to me, Water retention had gone, Roger Reflux was calm, and when I visited the throne, there was no bleeding again from Haemorrhoid Harold. I’m worried! May they be planning for an Accifauxpa or Whoopsiedangleplop attack? Haha!

I put on the alarm for 0850hrs to remind me to get ready, ablutions, etc. to go to the INR blood test in Carrington in time.

Took the medications and weighed me – it was down again!

2Tue05Found a scrawled note on a used envelope near the recliner.

Wondered what the heck I was trying to write? Got the dairies updated.

2Tue001aThen did some WordPress reading for an hour or two, then went onto Facebook for a while before having to close down and get ready for the surgery visit, and weather permitting, a nice steady long hobble into town to catch the tram into Hucknall.

Felt I needed the exercise.

Into the wetroom to do the ablutions, and observed that not only were the legs seemingly even whiter than yesterday, the right one was far thinner than the left one?

The brain seemed to be racing away on its own for a while, palpitations for a second or two and then whatever it was I was thinking of, fearing or considering, vanished from the brain altogether.

Dressed took the bin bags to the refuse chute and set off on the walk to the surgery.

2Tue06Going down Winchester Street hill, those with flower things that seem so intricate and beautiful were still radiant.

Down and left into Hood Street, right down Marshall Street, then left onto Mansfield Road and up the gradient in the direction of Carrington and the GP surgery.

Not much traffic around, but there was the 2Tue07usual Nottingham Pavement Cyclists of course.

This Herbert on the left, I turned around to take his photograph – he very nearly had over.

But, I don’t think he was aware of it as I saw he had earphone thingies on his head as he passed by so closely at a high rate of knots. Bless him.

Up over the hill and down to the surgery. Logged in, sat down and got the crossword book out.

The nurse fetched me in and got the INR blood test done. When I told her of my going to Hucknall, she pointed out a cheapo shop for me to try, near Tesco. I was soon out and hobbling through Carrington on my way into town.

3Wed01.jpg

2Tue08Near the Lidl store on the opposite side of the road, I turned and took a photographicalisation of the lack of traffic and people this morning.

Hehe! I might have guessed it was the EQ that told me to seize this photograph, as seconds later another Nottingham Pavement Cyclist overtook me from behind, not leaving much of a gap twixt I and him.

2Tue09aOnward, the weather just right for walking, not hot, not cold and a gentle breeze. Feeling good (For a while?).

Near the college bus-stop, I just missed making it three Pavement Cyclist in a row, and the one I wanted to photograph turned left into some flats before I could take the shot. However, I realised I’d caught a nice one of Nottingham Street Art?

2Tue10The man-hole covers protected by the plastic erections were Gas Repairs. I thought as I passed, in the old days when I was alive, any works like this from the then, British Gas Works would have stunk something awful!

Haha!

Passed the traffic island junction and up the hill by the Rock Cemetery, over the lights and down 2Tue11on the last leg of the hobble into town.

Still so few people and traffic.

As I passed a pub, it brought back memories of when as a teenager I was in digs that were ar the back of this pub at the time.

It was so long ago, but the landlady and one of her daughters, Audry I think, came back to 2Tue12mind and I nearly walked into this dustbin!

I wondered if something catastrophic had happened?

Pressed on down the hill, still a bit confused as to where everyone was? I knew I had the time right. Otherwise, the surgery would not have been open?

2Tue14In the City, Milton Street, still not much happening people-wise. Did I wonder if the Bank Holiday Monday had tempted folks to take some sickies? Or where they hungover?

You never know?

To the end and crossed over Upper Parliament Street, nearing what is traditionally Nottingham’s busiest pedestrian street, Clinton 2Tue15Street, I found a good few Nottinghomians there.

Limped through them and made my way to the tram stop.

Wish I had knowledge of how to use the video on the camera now. For I could have possibly done one for YouTube and this young lady in a what was obviously by her speed, must have 2Tue16been an 8 mph version, possibly one of the imported 12 mph disabled scooter was scattering the crowd with a determined sort of Jame Hunt ‘out-of-my-way’ sneer on her face!

Must remember to keep an eye out for a red and yellow scooter in town in future. Hehe!

Caught the tram on South Parade near the Council House and it was easy to find a seat too.

2Tue17At the Hucknall terminus we all dismounted and I walked to the shopping parade the nurse had told me about and had a wander around.

The store she suggested was called ‘Home Bargains’, a big one. I just paid a visit to the food part of it and got some sunflower hearts and black sunflower seeds for when I get to visit the Mallards again.

2Tue20Walked over to the Tesco store and went upstairs to see if they had any brown shoes that use a velcro fastener, or soft brown shoes. They had neither in stock, so I came down again and into the food section.

Spent a bit here: Fish Sticks, fresh pod peas, belly pork, Lemon cheesecake, lemon curd yoghourts and sourdough bread.

I enquired of the young lady on the checkout if I could use contactless payment with my card, because I can’t remember my new number, as soon as she had stopped talking to another member of staff. “Swipe there at the top” she listlessly instructed me. So I did, and nothing happened. The machine would not accept the swipe for the contactless payment. “That happens sometimes.” she said adding “Just put your number in then!” I pointed out that I’d already told her about my not remembering the code, this is why I’m trying to use the contactless payment… “Pay in cash then” was her response.

A good job they were not busy (I wonder why?) as I knew I’d had not enough money left after spending at the other shop, so searched all through my bag and pockets in the hope of remembering the number or if I had written it in the code somewhere. As the gal sat there lifting her eyes to the ceiling occasionally and non-verbally issuing non-covert “Silly old fart” signs to the other staff, and my not finding it, I had one go at putting it in, fearing I might lose the use if I got it wrong… Blimey! It took it!

I shall not be visiting here again in a hurry.

2Tue18Back to the tram terminus and I was soon on my way back into Nottingham. Got the crossword book out and had a bash.

By the time we got to Bulwell, the tram had filled up. The seats on the tram were so small. I put away the book and started nibbling at the fresh pod peas. By the time I neared the Nottingham stop, over half of them had been eaten!

At Hyson Green the tram actually filled up, a chap had to squash in, and I did my best to make room for him. When it came to getting up for the stop, the knees and ankles had stiffened so much, this chap helped me to get out of the seat – I did feel a fool!

Hobbled limpingly to the L9 bus stop and met fellow tenant and Social Hour friend Bill (William on Sundays) and he seemed confused. He said he’d been to the Post Office and didn’t know about the take a ticket routine and was now late for the doctor’s appointment. Poor old Bill. He went down the road and caught a number 40 bus that was going out, but there is a fair walk from the bus stop it drops off at, and crossing the road is very dangerous there on the bends. The L9 was due in five minutes as well… then I realised if he were going to his doctors from town, the 40 route would be better for him.

I was fighting falling asleep on the bus. But as luck would have it, some lady tenants got on en route, and they made sure I did wake up in time. Hehehe!

2Tue19Back in the flat, to the wetroom for a wee-wee, got the kettle on, took the medications, did the health checks and got the meal prepared.

Decided to have potatoes curried beans, Wieska three small slices of sourdough bread and two mini pork pies.

A Greek-style plain yoghourt with Maple Syrup mixed into it, followed.

I think I left 75% of it. Eyes too big for the thingy again, and I got the seasoning wrong for the beans too? And of course eating the porridge earlier might have had an effect?

1Mon17

After my failed attempt to at the fodder, I washed the pots then settled to watch a Frost DVD.

Fell asleep almost immediately, woke up and rewound, then repeated the nodding off again.

Woke, gave up and put the TV on to watch Top Gear and went to fetch a drink of orange juice from the fridge…

Whoopsiedangleplop!

I’d left the hot water tap running again! Stone cold now.

I didn’t fair any better with my TV viewing either, so gave up, turned everything off and drifted off quickly.

Then I awoke with the stomach rumbling and many trips to the Porcelain Throne followed throughout the night… Oh dear!

TTFN.

Inchcock – Bank Holiday Monday, 1st May 2017 – No buses!

1Mon001

Bank Holiday Monday, 1st April 2017

Welsh: Llun Gŵyl y Banc, 1 Ebrill, 2017

Didn’t wake until 0535hrs, I must have needed the rest?

Out of the almost scarily shuddering £300 second-hand recliner, kicked a bottle of Spring Water over and off to the Porcelain Throne for a heavy duty session. All went very well, no blood from Haemorrhoid Harold, Little Inchy was not bleeding again (although stinging a bit), Duodenal Donald not bad at all, Anne Gyna ever present lately it seems, but showing less severity than of late, Reflux Roger was calm, Haemorrhoid Harold was not bleeding and Harry Hernia only showing the slightest signs of discontentment. If things stay like this, I’ll be content too. Fingers crossed here.

1Mon01Applied the creams, lotions and potions where needed.

Then made a nice strong mug of tea and had my breakfast.

Hehe! Well, medications. At first, I thought I’d got the dosages wrong and tried to figure out which tablets/capsules I’d missed off – then realised there was fewer to take, due to the Morphine Sulphate being suspended.

Did the first daily Health-Checks, and finalised the weeks log on Excel. TLhis mornings readings were fine? Sys160, Dia 87, Pulse 85, Temp 33.9, Weight 14.75

All looking fine to me?

1Mon03

I was fauchling things on the keyboard a lot for some reason this morning?

Came across the dream notes from last night when I started doing the diaries. Seems I was having a series of them where I was being interviewed, questioned, interrogated by various personages. Sentences were passed, and I thanked them? A lot of the scribbled notes I couldn’t decipher. But it was apparent that the electric chair and deportation were in there somewhere. I got sent back and had to face the same interrogators I think?

1Mon02The Morrison delivery arrived. The driver was in a good mood this morning, mostly because it being a Bank Holiday, the traffic was almost non-existent he said.

I put the fodder away, managing almost without any effort, to drop the jar of pickled onions… and it did not break! Fair enough, it hit my knee on the way down, though.

Always concerns and worries me things like this happening. The jar not smashing and no mess to clean up… it’s just not the usual occurrence for me. Hehe!

Went on Facebook to catch-up.Did some graphics for the TFZer site.

Did some graphics for the TFZer site.

A depression came over me suddenly, the darkness and feeling of abandoned hopes arrived so quickly and brutally, I stopped doing anything and just sat feeling sorry for myself and going over all my mistakes, errors and foolish misread intentions I’d done and committed through my life and just could not stop doing this?

It took hours before I could regain some sort of control, but I did, still felt a bitterness towards myself, but coped much better with it, I think.

I actually cheered up a bit after I’d hit my head on the airing cupboard shelve as I dropped the jammies taking them out. Confused and now feeling hungry, I sorted the food out and changed into the nightwear, noticing how terribly white and pale my skin looked tonight? And, the leg’s water retention had almost gone, my chicken legs and dangly arms were back! Hehe!

No wonder the weight was well down yet again on the last of the Health Checks. The pulse was beating away with a venom mind. Tsk!

1Mon18.jpg

1Mon19Got the fodder served up.

Not a lot, but just as well, as I couldn’t eat it all or anywhere near all of it. And, I thought I felt rather hungry earlier too?

Despite this, the stomach rumbled annoyingly afterwards. But Duodenal Donald was kind to me, although persistent, his pains were moderate for once. I cheered a bit at this.

Got some Political pamphlets through the door, local elections this Thursday. Oh, and one for the June General Election too.

1Mon17a

They were an amusing read.

Settled to fall asleep watching the gogglebox.

TTFN all.

Inchcock – Sunday 30th April 2017

7Sun001

Sunday 30th April 2017

Macedonian: Недела 30-ти април 2017 година

0400hrs: Sweating a bit this morning. Fractures bits of dreams were there, but not enough to make any sense of.Up and out of the £300 second-hand recliner and got the washing bad and down and got it going in the washer.

Up and out of the £300 second-hand recliner and got the laundry bag and down and got it going in the washer.

Up to the flat and visited the Porcelain Throne with no problems.

Made a cuppa and started doing the diaries.

Down and moved the clothes into the dryer.

Back in the flat 0500hrs, took the medications and did the Health Checks:

Sys 146, Dia 82, Pulse 100, Temp 36.1, Weight 14.69 (Down a smidge he says with his little chest swelling out. Hehe!) Apart from the pulse a bit high all looked good to me. And because I wrongly did these checks in between nipping up and on the lift. I suppose the pulse being so high, is to be expected? Bet it’ll be back down on the next checks.

7Sun01aTook this photograph through the kitchen window, leaving the lights on in the front room to reflect onto it.

I made a strong mug of tea. Did some graphicationalisationing, and it was soon time to go back down to the laundry room to collect the washing. (0600hrs).

Took the camera down with me.

7Sun01Bits of fluff had attached to the clothing, and it took me ages to pick it all off of them. I guess I didn’t check the filter well enough, it looked cleaned to me when I got the stuff into the dryer.

Ah well, that’ll teach me not to take short cuts.

Packed the into the bag, cleaned the filter and drum and back one more time up to the mini-flatlet.

Got some potatoes into the Crock-Pot adding a drop of dark Soy Sauce in place of salt to them.

Started on the diaries, beginning this one.

WordPress reading next.

Onto Facebooking.

Second checks completed and the pulse had gone down okay. Sys 150, Dia 85, Pulse 85, Temp 36.1. Excellent!

Then decided to have a walkabout hobble with my camera, just around the block so as to speak. So I got a good scrub-up adorned clean clothing and set off on the little trip out.

7Sun02a

7Sun02b

No personages met at all on the way down in the lift or front foyer.

Crossed over the road and onto the field to get to the entry point for the Croft.

There, in between the weeds, daisies, dandelions and was a single buttercup, blowing in the wind. I jut had to start the walkabout with a photographicalisation of it, it was so 7Sun03beautiful and fresh looking.

The well-beaten pathway up through the Croft was mounted at a really slow idle pace – I was in no rush and wanted to have a good look around. Which was a little disappointing I’m afraid, for two reasons?

One, the rubbish that had been tipped in between the lovely old trees. And the fact that I thought I’d taken a picture, well, two pictures of the crap… but when I got home and downloaded the camera card, none were found?

7Sun04Upwards and onwards to the park, and had a roundabout walk down to Mansfield Road.

Taking a photograph of a group of friends with their animals, from through the trees.

I get pleasure from seeing the dogs playing and having fun. A touch of jealousy creeps in too, I think? Hehe!

The feet were already beginning to sting a bit, but no bother from Duodenal Donald or Anny Gyna at the moment.

7Sun04aOn to Mansfield Road, up over the hill and down into Sherwood.

Sparsely populated today, then again it is a Sunday. (Please note: I got the day right today. Haha!)

Did lots of window shopping on the way down to Winchester Street.

Dropped into the Wilko store and got face cloths and spectacle cleaners. Had a dizzy at the check-out and dropped the change the gal was giving me – did feel a fool!

7Sun4bReally slowly now, I ‘ambled with a limp’ down to the lights and left up onto Winchester Street Hill.

A few yards along on the left in this picture is the entrance bounded by a low Derbyshire Stone, a wall with flowers and shrubs planted.

As I approached it, some Nottingham Street Art 7Sun4cI found!

Three-quarters of a slice of buttered toast, a bag of gone-off-rancid food of some description, broken tiles, bricks, a box of ice-pops and cigarette packets adorned the corner of the wall that had been knocked down.

And these dumped items were right next to the most beautiful of plants!

As I walked up the hill and Anne Gyna started grumbling, I came across more wonderful plants on the side of the pavements.T

7Sun4dTheir names I know not, being a townie – but I knew they were nature’s wonders. Especially the one in the middle above. Almost reminded me of a close-up of a snowflake or something that had been embroidered?

The leg of the hill was a battle, but as I say, I was in no rush and took a few breaks when I took the photos.

7Sun4e

Rounded the corner onto Chestnut Walk, and I hobbled along with a little quicker limp now – The bladder was informing me of a need for a wee-wee was becoming urgent! Tsk!

Made it in time.

I thought how nippy it was in the apartment. Then realised I’d left both windows open, so I closed one.

7Sun05

I put the Wilko purchases away.

Kettle on and checked the Crock-pot, the tatties were doing fine.

Kettle on and made a cuppa took the midday medications, got the computer going and updated this diary.

Had to nip for another wee-wee, though?

Added some of these photos to the TFZ site.Back to working on the next TFZer graphic.

Back to working on the next TFZer graphic.

Spent hours, only to lose it all when CorelDraw froze! Grumph!

7Sun06aGot the meal prepared.

Raw pod peas (The last of them), beetroot, potatoes boiled with soy sauce in the water, a fish cakes, battered cod balls and mushrooms. Two slices of sourdough bread (The last two).

With to follow, a plain Greek-style yoghourt with Marle Syrup stirred into the pot.

Did the washing up then settled to try and watch some Jonathan Creek DVD episodes – again I nodded off before the thing started, and again I remembered bits of the dreams I’d had when I woke later and wrote some notes down to record from later.

There was no need for ant berceuse tonight. Turned off the box and TV as was in the land of nod in moments!
