Inchcock Today – Sunday 25th February 2018: Fed-up! Hehe!

Sunday 25th February 2018

French: Dimanche 25 février 2018

0200hrs: The head felt like it would explode, innards grumbling and rumbling. Feeling like I have had no sleep at all. Dizzy Dennis seems to have settled in with me permanently. Tsk! I’d been waking every few minutes and having to go for a wee-wee for hours and hours, all night. Earlier, I had a nauseous spell or two. Never have I wee-wee’d so much.

I was determined, not to let myself get morose, dolorous or irritable about things like I did yesterday. I got the medications taken and did the Health Checks.

Made a start on this blog, then finished off yesterdays.

I think I’m going to opt here. One hell of a sore throat now. The throat problem seemed, to come over me instantly? Shivering now! Despite having the woolly hat and dressing gown on.

I did some commenting on WordPress and Reader.

Had a search for suitable funnies to use for the page headers.

Made three up ready, but it took me many hours, as was making mistakes all the time, nipping off for wee-wees and felt so tired. I thought I had some TCP in stock.THen, I could have had a gargle of TCP for the throat, but failed to find any? After I got the TFZ page headers done, I had another look around for it. Searched in everyplace I think, but no luck.

The flat was looking terribly untidy, but I was energyless. Is that a real word?

Another wee-wee and put the kettle on to make a brew in the small mug. Going to have a look at the football results later.

Went to the kitchen to make the tea – and I’d left the hot water tap (Faucet) running earlier! Can’t have a shower now then, until it heats up again. Although, I think that Jenny told me the shower heater is not affected by the boiler. Of course, I might be wrong.

Listless, I viewed the footy results. It would be a Sunday when the throat comes on bad. Tsk! Chemist not open and no buses.

Noisy Herbert has been busy knocking clanging and dropping stuff again.

Did the midday checks and medicationalisationing.

I’m not feeling the slightest bit like eating yet. Perhaps later,  I might use the last of the crustless wholemeal bread to make a few anchovies, cheese and tomato sarnies? Maybe not, with how I feel at this moment.

Poor old sausage. Hehe!

Mate Michael rang the intercom, bless him. Smashing to see him. He’s brought some PPs for me again. He could not stay, but it was a pleasure to see him again, and much appreciated.

Perked me up this short visit did. I turned the oven on to heat it up.

Went for a wee-wee, and noticed I’d suffered a nose-bleed. Must have been a while back, cause it was dark red and dried. A right mess all over my nose moustache and chin. Looked down and found blood on the top shirt as well!

Took a photo of the tree copse. If Michael had not called, I would have still been in a depressed sorry-for-myself mood. Signs of life in the Copse were showing through now. I hope to be up to having a walk through and chatting to the old trees again soon. (Don’t laugh… Hehehe!)

Did the Health Checks and the ablutions. Blimey, it was cold in that wet room. Harold’s Haemorrhoid was in a right poor state, and much bleeding and Ooing and Aring took place during the medicationalising treatment of the same. (Argh!) Into new PPs and clean jammies and off to the kitchen to make the meal.

Got a handful of chips in the oven to cook while I made up some bread, cheese, tomato and anchovy open sandwiches, on three slices of the Scottish Plain bread.

Disappointingly, I could only manage two of the open sandwiches. But I ate more than of the last two meals, so that was a good sign. I reckoned the lack of appetite was down to the throat ache.

Got the plate, spoon and fork in the bowl to soak, and took this photo of Sun-Down at Woodthorpe Court.

Settled to watch the good guys, The A-Team on the goggle-box. I got through the first of the three episodes with only nodding off about ten-times. Huh!

While sat there watching them, I had a dizzy spell and actually thought I might fall out of the recliner!

Then the shivers started again, I hate these. It even went through my warped mind that the Government might be funding Councils to do work on the old folk flats, with the proviso that the heating does not work correctly and they must be left with no cladding for as long as possible with all windows letting in the wind and cold. Thus, helping to save the NHS a lot of dosh when the old gits get pneumonia and kick the bucket?

At least I got to sleep a little easier tonight, but it was dream filled.

Inchcock Today – Saturday 24th February 2018: Not good.

Saturday 24th February 2018

0115hrs: Woke up feeling so tired. I forced myself to try and get back to sleep again. It was not a very successful effort, though. The one time I managed to actually nod-off, the Strobe & Pillow fire alarm want off, (No fire) so I abandoned the plans for kipping again. Tsk! With ill-will power, I grudgingly tackled the job of extricating my massive body from the £300 second-hand recliner.

Washed the pots I’d left on the other chair from last night. The brain held nagging doubts and scepticisms about anything and everything.

Turmoil came from the innards and grey-cells, both.

Got the Health Checks done and medications taken.

The pulse seems to have had a bit of a dip over the last few checks. I’ll look up what is the optimum rate for me later. 75-128 it says, fair enough, then. Took the medications.

Off to the Porcelain Throne. Still messy. Cleaned up the blood and changed PPs.

I can’t seem to shake this feeling off. Hard to explain it; Uncomfortableness, expecting the worst, confused, nervous, excruciatingly sad and morose… any and all combined would do to describe it. A different Inchcock has woken up again, it appears?

Got the computer on and started to create this post, up to here. Then updated the Friday diary. Which took hours and hours to get done, but I thought the photos were loading a little less slowly now. No idea why?

Then went on WordPress Reader.

I made a right mess of making the comments. Extreme lack of concentration this morning. I hope they go through correctly.

I went on CorelDraw to make some headers to use later.

Got one finished off, the TFZer lads. A map of Europe with each counties drinkies shown. I posted it on the site, asking the gals, which of the drinks do they think each man would go for. Bit of fun!

Take it as read, folks, I was nipping out for a wee-wee every fifteen minutes for the rest of the day! Tsk!

Dizzy Dennis joined the blocked-nose, and then Hippy Hilda tagged along. Not feeling so good.

Got me down and watched some YouTube car videos for a bit. But concentration was at a minimum.

Made a mug of tea to try and bring me around a bit.

Billious, now, blinding headache, too. Tsk!

Got the weeks’ medication pots filled. But I made a right fiasco and performance of this simple task. I dropped several cups, put the wrong items in the wrong containers and had to redo them from the start again!

It didn’t help with recovery, with noisy Herbert above clanking away.

Not having a good day now, I’m afraid.

I got the meal prepared and was stood at the kitchen window, staring blankly out and feeling sorry for myself.

Almighty clattering noises made me jump and sprang (Well, turned slowly) around.

Two of the jugs on the top bar had fallen off and down (No idea how this occurred). They knocked down the grabber-stick and plastic saucepans and funnels off of their pegs, taking the vegetable cutting board and all falling into the bowl in the sink, where I had left stuff soaking.

I grabbed the items, finding the steak knife first. I cleaned up and rearranged the utility items.

Although I wasn’t too keen on eating, with the stomach-churning, blocked nose, Dizzy Dennis and eyes running, the main thing was I felt I was merely drained mentally and physically.

The meal should have been a decent one. But I ate very little of it.

Washed the pots and just sat in the chair, occasionally nodding off and waking with altered ailments.

Hopefully, things will improve soon.

I reckon I had dozens of wee-wees over the night! Humph!

Inchcock Today – Friday 23rd February 2018

Friday 23rd February 2018

Philipino: Biyernes Pebrero 23, 2018

0100hrs: I woke, as I  must have done twenty-times since nodding off, and sat musing. Well, fretting and pondering as well. Deep dark thoughts were trundling through the grey-cell area. I decided I do not suffer from thanatophobia, but now I do from
oneirophobia, following last nights harrowing selection of fears and worries contained within the many dreams and nightmares that I’d had.

A touch of basic logicality dawned, and I decided to get the second laundry session of the week done. Automotonlike, I arose from the £300 second-hand recliner, noticing the food tray on the next chair, and multiple signs of nocturnal nibbling.

Like it was someone else doing it, I plodded on slowly and unhesitatingly assembled the bag of clothing and made my way down to the laundry room. Vacant of any thoughts other than the need to get the washing done? I got the washer going, and as I was in the lift returning to the apartment, the head was flooded with all the usual worries, fears, concerns and lack of confidence. The brain was back to normal, then. Never have I had anything like this happen before.

Had a wee-wee, and I set about doing the Health Checks and taking the medications.

I was a little surprised that the pulse reading was so low. I thought with the nightmares and my just having gone down and up from the laundry room, it might have been higher if anything? Hey-ho!

To the wet room for a Porcelain Throne session and medicalising of specific areas.

It was a lousy session all round. Messy, Trotsky affected evacuation. The fungal lesion had been bleeding drying and bleeding again, so I had lots of cleaning up to do, and a pain-producing medication session too! My EQ sensed this was going to be another unpleasant, awkward, confusing, tricky, worrisome day. I pray it is wrong for once.

Time to go and move the gear from washer to dryer. Nasty Dizzy spell as I stood up from the computer chair. I ended up face down half on and half off of the recliner. Knocked over the things from the Ottoman and sent the food tray flying off onto the floor. My response was one of passive acceptance of the situation. Got up, with Hippy Hilda and Arthur Itis both annoyed with my actions now. I cleaned up the mess, not using the hoover though, too early, the noise would disturb my neighbours. Found I’d managed to give myself a bruise on the forehead somehow, also.

Down and got the clothing from the machine to the dryer.

Returned to the apartment and had a wee-wee. Got the kettle on and had another wee-wee while it was boiling.

Dizzy Dennis is lingering a bit.

Had a glance at the information sign when I got into the lift. Still showing Sunny?

Started the computer and it made me sign into the vault and Link-to first? Very slow in handling pictures in WordPress and impossibly slow in Gmail! Grr! Never mind though.

Finished off yesterday’s diary and posted it.

Down to the laundry room.

Collected the dried clothing, cleaned the filter, and folded up the things into the bag.

I noticed there were no beetles in the elevator this morning. Then realised they were in the other one, yesterday.

Back in the flat. Made a brew and took this photograph. It looked almost dry out there.

Onto the computer again.

Finding it challenging to concentrate at the moment. Managed to reply to comments on WordPress.

Did the WordPress Reader viewing on Chrome, then back to FireFox try and do Facebooking.

Watched some YouTube clips.

Sorted the bin bags, and did the ablutions. Another mess of an evacuation, but far less bleeding from Harold and Little Inchy.

All ready and set off to the Obergruppenfurheress Wardens Shed.

Three of the regular clan in there when I arrived. Welsh Bill, Brenda and Roy. Cindy and three others joined us later. Wardens Julie and Deans left their office and bade us all farewell. We had a natter and laugh, during which I found out from the others, that the coat I was wearing was too tight, my hearing aids were screeching and warned of the rise in the cost of electricity now the heaters were installed. Hehe! I was pleased to see that Welsh Bill was looking a lot better than the previous day. Far less pale, and his sarcasm and wit were returning. William, poor chap has got Morphine poisoning. It’s going to take a long time for things to clear-up for him. The doctors told Bill he’s going to feel so tired, for ages yet.

On the bright side, Brenda and Cindy were in good form, and much laughter produced and appreciated by us.

Out to catch the bus, I chatted with Bill en route, and he was more willing to natter just now. I like him, even if he does insult me everytime he sees me. Haha! All was in good fun… I think.

We got off on Upper Parliament Street, and Bill shot off. I made my way, into the Victoria Shopping Centre. The owners of this place are Intu, who have just spent millions on upgrading it.

As you can see in this photograph, it ain’t exactly busy, is it?

They are currently rebuilding their other centre, Broad Marsh in the south of the city. This vision below of the outside part of it does not impress me at all. The City Council says: The £250 million programme of works is underway to transform the area into a grand entrance into the south of the city centre with improved shopping, leisure and restaurant facilities in a vibrant new environment. Political-Speak!

Artists impression

The number of people around this Victoria mall, did not give any signs of hopes for the new one to make it pay?

I poddled along to the Tesco at the far end of the building, fingers crossed that they will have some the Pork Knuckles in stock. The plates-of-meat were stinging somewhat, but Arthur Itis, Anne Gyna, Duodenal Donald, Reflux Roger etc. were being good to me. Even Dizzy Dennis had ceased his visiting.

Hobbled around the Tesco store amidst the out-of-date produce rotting in the trays. Straight to the continental meats fridge, and got three of the Pork Knuckles. Nice! Off to the bread section, where after a sort through the crustless wholemeal 400g loaves, I found one not out of date and put in the basket. Got a lemon slice cake and to the checkout.

Out through Boot’s and on to Upper Parliament Street.

Still very few folks around.

Over the road and into the Poundland World, to see if they had any Pork Pies in stock. Shame, they didn’t have any.

I bought some nibbles, paid and off to the bus stop.

Brenda and old Oscar was there, but neither wanted to chat with me, so I went along with their wishes.

The bus arrived, and we mounted.

As we travelled back, I put the camera against the window, in case I spotted something worth photographicalising.

Then I fell asleep! Astonishingly, later when I downloaded the SD card, I found these two on it?

Not the slightest idea why, when or how I took these? The poor old devil!

Walked with Brenda from the bus stop to the flats and had a laugh en route. We were both in agreement that we were shattered and ready for a cuppa and nod-off! Hehehe!

Got in the flat and had a wee-wee.

Put the food and nibbles away. I noy=ticed on the Tesco till, receipt, the girl had done the same as last time I bought three Pork Knuckles and put them, all through at the same price as the first one of them; when they were individually priced to suit the weight.

A quick working out to see if I’d been overcharged or not. Ah, 24p undercharged!

I got straight on with making the daily meal. Well, in between visits for a wee-wee. I had so many of these tonight, I shan’t bother mentioning them again; it’ll take up too much memory space! Hahaha!

The potato-curls were very good indeed, the BBQ sticks okay, the tomatoes excellent. The Tesco crustless wholemeal bread was like I imagine that eating cardboard would be, tasteless. Good job I put some butter on them. The Asda lemon tart was all sugar and no fruit taste. The lemon mousse went down very well.

Despite my plans for getting some TFZer graphicalisationing done, I fell asleep in the £300 second-hand recliner within minutes of finishing off the food. I woke up hours later, with once again, signs of extra nocturnal nibbling having been committed. The brain informed me that I had to get the tray and dishes washed… fell asleep again!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 22nd February 2018

Thursday 22nd February 2018

Kazakh: Бейсенбі, 22 ақпан, 2018

1125hrs: Woke up, feeling tremendously upbeat. A few seconds for the brain to join the body, and the laundry needed doing came forth from the depths of the grey-cells. I extracted the body mass from the £300 second-hand recliner.

Fought back the acidulous thoughts about life, and got the washing bag and accoutrements collated and down to the Laundry Room.

The bleakness of the ground floor lobby seemed to bring down my earlier feelings of contentment.

Got the washer loaded and started and returned up to the flat.

Got the Health Checks done, made a brew then took the medications.

All looked fine on the results from the sphygmomanometer. Which incidentally, once again took three goes before it recorded, just showed up as a fault? It had new batteries in, as well.

Time to go down and move the clothing from the washer to dryer.

Got the dryer going, then I cleaned the drum and door of the washer.

Back up to the apartment and refilled the pot with capsules and freshener ready for the next visit to the laundry room.

Got the computer on to start this post off. The machine was going slow again this morning, and I had a heck of a job uploading these photographs. Tsk!

Time to go and retrieve the hopefully dried washing.

Into the elevator, where I noticed just one of the beetles beetling about on the lift floor. If these insects are going to be regular visitors, I’ll have to think of a name for them. Hehe!

I had a closer look at the notice about the water being turned off in March for Monday and Tuesday 12th and 13th.

I spotted the word ‘Secondlement’.

I looked it up on the web later. And the only thing that came up was this?

To the laundry room and emptied the dryer of clothing and folded them up and cleaned the filter and drum.

I’m pleased to report that no odd socks found this time. As Jenny said, if I throw away the odd one, sure as heck I’ll discover the missing one, then! Haha!

Got the gear in the bag and went back to the lifts. Where the electronic information sign indicated, it was ‘Sunny’ outside. I nipped out of the foyer door to take this picture of the sunshine. Hehehe!

Into the flat and put the clobber away.

Made a fresh brew and continued to update this up to here. Then began finalising yesterday’s post and got it sent off.

Computer problems started. Sticking, jumpy. Not allowing me to post photos on Facebook or email now. Did a disc cleanup and now I’ve lost all my passwords! Not the foggiest idea how to solve the issues, and expect to lose computer and or internet anytime. I’m fed-up and sorry for myself in the extreme now! I need help, but who from?

I tried posting on Facebook again on Chrome, but that was not letting me even write, let alone post photos. Back to FireFox to work there still. No, not allowing me to post again.

Tried YouTube to see if that is working. I had to sign in again, but luckily remembered the password for this.

Finished a TFZer fun graphic. IT went on FB twice but wouldn’t let me add it to the other stuff. Tried to load it on here.

I had to try several times, but eventually, I managed to get it to on. Phew! But it took far too long.

Dispirited, I turned everything off and got the ablutions tended to. The medicationalisationing of the lower regions gave me a bit of bother. Huh!

I got the nibble box and raffle prizes in the bag. Sorted the black bags out and took them with me, dropping them in the chute en route.

As I left the foyer, I got this photo of one of the lifts in use. It looked like it was picking up some ready-built wall panels or whatever. The day was not too cold or windy and no rain about. But the forecast on the radio when I was shaving, informed me that it was going to go down to -4°c – 24.8°f, and that did nothing to cheer me up.

I crossed over the road and espied a little ganglet of inestimable residents just beyond the Obergruppenfurheress’s temporary shed, at the bus stop further along.

I got in and had a quick word with the Wardens in their office. Then into the Social Hour room.

Jenny was there, looking after the others, making tea or coffee for them, and handing out cakes. Not many people yet. It soon filled up a bit more, though.

Put the raffle prizes on the trolley and had a nice nattering session with Jenny. She warned me not to use the path between the trees, that lead down to Winchester Street. Her other half, Frank, was mugged using it a couple of years ago. I thanked her for the advice.

Did some crosswording. I had planned to catch a bus at 1030hrs to town to fetch some batteries, but the innards started gurgling, and Hippy Hilda played up a bit. So I decided against going out.

Frank, Cindy, Bill (William on Sundays), BJ and John sat close to me.

I departed, full of worry about the computer mostly.

Back to the flat and had a wee-wee. Rubbed some gel into Hippy Hilda, checked the PPs and made a mug of tea. The computer on to update this post.

Nosh: Cheesy mashed potatoes, tomatoes, BBQ nibbles and pork sausages

Not feeling ill as such, just in low spirits and out of sorts.

I just sat with the TV on, tray still on the other chair and drifted off, but woke so often and fretted over anything, fall asleep and suffer terrible dreams, then the whole thing repeated all night. Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 21st February 2018

Wednesday 21st February 2018

Haitian Creole: Mèkredi 21 Fevriye 2018

0145hrs: I woke up irritated with myself, for not being able to recall any details of the dream-filled night. Just feelings of them all being of frustrations and humiliations?

As lay there on the £300 second-hand recliner, pondering on whether I should get up or not, the rumbling and grumbling from the innards encouraged me to exit the chair immediately and make my way to the Porcelain Throne post haste.

Getting out of the recliner, I trod on a cheese curl, from the nocturnal nibbling, making a jolly right mess to clean up.

In a rush to get to the wet room, I stubbed my toe on the Ottoman.

I got in, panicky, thinking I might not make it in time, I whipped off the Protection Pants, and the blood sprayed all over the place from my breaking the dried blood from Inchies Lesion. The floor, my jammies and feet, the sink, the bowl, the toilet rolls and medications, the wall, all got sprayed. Oh, I was in a right pickle!

Which got even worse, when I didn’t make it in time! Feeling frustrated, irritated and embarrassed. The evacuation was Trotsky affected too.

By the time I had cleaned everything up, it was 0240hrs! Antisepticated, all areas, mopped up, cleaned the wall, floor, me and new PPs adorned. In a way, I was glad that these Whoopsies had occurred close to each other and early in the day, and foolishly thought things would undoubtedly improve. What a plonka!

To the main room, and cleared up the crushed cheesy curl mess.

Well pleased with myself, with my getting things sorted and cleaned up. I took this photo of me in the front room waving to you all in the reflection of the window, with the outside view, scaffolding, lights etcetera as a backdrop; before going to the kitchen to do the Health Checks and take the medications.

The sphygmomanometer again refused to work several times before it did so.

A slight rise in febrility and the Sys was still just a little low. But none of the readings perplexed me.

All the time lost with the cleaning up from the Whoopsiedangleplops bothered me though. This meant less time to get these diaries, WordPress Reading and Facebooking done before I had to get to the surgery for the Harold Haemorrhoids examination and Warfarin blood test done. Then I realised the appointments started at 1020hrs, not the usual 0800hrs, so panic over.

I made a grand tasting drink of Extra Strong English Breakfast tea, in the new second-hand mug.

I love this mug, cause it is cumbersome but heavy, so less chance of knocking it over when I get the shakes, the handle is easy to use, and I think it keeps the brew hotter for longer.

Took it with me to the computer, and started to update the Tuesday post and get it finished and posted on on WordPress.

Checked the emails and comments via Gmail. Then made a start on this diary.

Went to the WordPress Reader. Of course, this meant closing Firefox and opening Chrome, cause Firefox will not let me access the reader on WordPress for some reason, and then back to Firefox, because Chrome will not let me save any work on WordPress! I blame Bill Gates! Hehe!

Went on to Facebooking next.

Had to get the ablutions and medicationalisationing done them. Got them done with time to spare. So I sorted the three bags of waste out and took them to the refuse chute on the way out.

Got in the lift and was greeted with dried mud on the floor. I hadn’t noticed that yesterday.

I poddled to the Obergruppenfurhresses Cabin. Meeting Mary from the 6th floor en route and we had a little natter as we plodded along.

I popped into the hut to inform either Warden Julie and or Deana that I had put their Thursday nibbles (Sourdough bread and bottle of water) in the fridge for them yesterday, earlier than usual. But neither was present or available. There were some blokes from the heater makers getting ready to lie to anyone who attended and tell them how reliable and cheap to run they were. Tsk! Welsh William, Roy and two unknown to me tenants as well.

I departed and set off on my hobble into Sherwood, then Carrington to the surgery for my blood test and Harold Haemorrhoid examination.

Only a little walk for me today. The red line is where I caught the bus back into Sherwood. The blue lines indicate the walk from the flats to Sherwood, then to Carrington for the medicationalisationing. Hehehe!

Another gloomy day looked to be in the offing as I got part way down the Winchester Street Hill.

I appreciated how it seemed so quiet. When a dirty-great lorry passed, and the driver jammed his vehicles anchors on, and I didn’t hear him.

I’d forgot to put the Hearing Aids in again! Sad really!

A little further down the hill, I saw the gates that I think come out at the end of the secret pathway from opposite the apartments. I wish I could find out for sure somehow.

I have inquired of the other tenants who had lived there longer than me, but they didn’t know the path existed at all.

Got onto Mansfield Road and turned left up to the incline.

Had a nosey come window shopping at a few stores en route.

Up to the crest and over the hill. The plates of meat were stinging.

Where amazingly, I remembered to look for the flowers in a garden that I promised Orbb, a friend on the internet, I’d take a photo of them if they were out.

But they were not in bloom. Although, buds were forming on the bush already.

The ailments were all being kind to me.

Onwards and down to the surgery. Where I made an unfortunate discovery. Nurse Nicole will no longer be working anymore at this surgery! My mood changed to one of instant depression!

I booked myself in and sat down, got the crossword book out, but could not concentrate properly. The appointment time came and went. Then the nurse consulted the reception staff, who had to call me several times before I heard them. The new nurse was not in a happy mood at all, her running behind and me forgetting the hearing aids was terrible enough. When she heard I’d also forgotten the Anticoagulation Clinic form that I should fill in each week as well… I was given the “You old prat’ sneer and treatment and was told off several times. She reminded me not to forget things next week, in no uncertain terms. Oh, dearie me! I felt like I’d been given a threnody. Tsk!

I departed and joined the waiting area for Harold’s problems to be sorted. Then found out it was not this week. I did feel a right fool again!

Feeling elegiac, and dejectedly melancholy, I left the nibbles on the desk for the receptionists and departed.

I was feeling so low that it didn’t bother me; this car being parked on the pavement. I crossed the road and caught a bus back into Sherwood. Dolorous, and annoyed with my self.

Off the bus and morosely over the crossing and limped up over the hill and down to the Woodthorpe Grange Park gates.

Up the footpath. Hardly any dogs or people about today. I hobbled, still depressed with how things had gone, and to the top and turned right where the Tree Copse was.

The Copse cheered me a little, as I noticed some greenery coming through.

I pressed on and down the muddy gravel pathway, to the entrance to the flats.

I didn’t see a soul anywhere. No workers, no wardens, no residents.

Got in the apartment and took a wee-wee. Did the Health Checks, took the medicines and pain gelled the tender areas.

I cheered a bit more when I remembered I had the beef ready meal and some chips to have for the nosh later.

Got the computer going and updated this rubbish to here.

Then did the Morrison order for next Thursday, St David’s Day.

Health Checks and medical needs tended to.

Not the best of days for me.

But I did enjoy the Asda ready made Minced Beef Hotpot. Despite the meal being so unhealthy, according to the intake listing showing three in red! The annoying thing about it was they were on offer at 3 for £6.

Which means I have to eat all three before they go out of date!

But, the taste was delicious. I’ll have to eat more healthy noshes in between having these I suppose? Tsk!

I had a rinse and removed the plaster that the frightening surgery nurse had applied after taking the blood from the arm. I’ve never had such a bruise after a blood test before!

Still, no pain with it at all.

I washed the pots and got settled to watch some more ‘New Tricks’ DVD episodes. Stayed awake for both of them, then turned to the TV to watch ‘Law & Order’. First set of commercials and I was off into the land of nod!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 20th February 2018

Tuesday 20th February 2018

Africaans: Woensdag 21 Februarie 2018

0220hrs: I stirred a few times, just like yesterday morning, with no desire, urge or interest in actually getting out of the £300 second-hand recliner. I think it was on the fourth attempt I managed to coax the brain to accept my commands and got out of the chair and went to the Porcelain Throne session. Not too bad this one; a little less messy.

Did the Health Checks and took the medications.

0330hrs: Then got the computer on to finish off yesterday’s post and start creating the advance drafts for the next few days.

Got them finished at 0730hrs, as the Morrison man delivered the food. Got them stored away.

Did the ablutions, during which I used the Morrison’s soft quilted, Aloe Vera toilet rolls. What a farce. Get them anywhere near water, antiseptic cream or shaving foam and they disintegrate, leaving tiny little bits of twisted paper everywhere! Even when used for the purpose they were designed for, they then cause you with a messy, painful retrieval job to tackle! Tsk and Humph! Be Warned folks!

Started this off to here, and got the nibbles and off to the Obergruppenfurheress Wardens Temporary Porta-Cabin, on the way to catch the bus into Arnold and the Audio Clinic there.

Took this photographicalisation of the middle block build. I think the lads have done well on Monday and Tuesday, it appears they have started another floor going.

There were no wardens in the hut. Just one bloke. I put the nibbles for the Obegruppenfurheresses in their fridge. Only the usual Sourdough bread and a freebie bottle of Sports Water from Morrisons. Got it today cause of the GUM clinic visit on what is the typical day, Thursday. I sat myself down and got the crossword book out.

Welsh Bill, know-it-all and two other lady tenants joined us later.

Had a chat for a few minutes. Bill is not feeling any better, but no worse.

We went out to catch the bus. A surprising amount of us old seniles got on this morning. But, only I was left on the bus, as all of the others dropped off, three stops later in Sherwood.

I dropped off in Arnold.

Went to see if Chambers Butchers had any of their home-cooked belly pork slices in that were not too fatty.

They did, so I got some. Looked lean, looked good and smelled wonderful!

It kept brightening up and going a bit dark. It was much colder than yesterday.

Limped to the Medical Centre to make up for going to the City Centre one a week last on Monday and finding out they do not open on Mondays now.

I went in and to the audio department counter. All locked-up! I inquired of the receptionist with the well practised ‘I’ll-put-you-in-your-place’ stare; if they had perhaps moved? No, they only open on a Tuesday and Friday; between 1400hrs to 1700hrs, now! Ah-well!

So I wandered down to Front Street and, and went into the Iceland Store. Came out without buying anything.

Then to the Fulton Food Store, came out without buying anything.

Then to the Asda Shop. A different store here. I got three beef stew and potato ready meals for £6, vine tomatoes, Viennese Whirls, Cox’s apples, a TV magazine for next week, Cheese Curls and a box of four Lemon Curd Sundae Cakes. I was going to get some more of the cans of Curried Beans, but they were no longer on Offer Price. Boo!

Struggled with the bag out and up by the car park, to the bus stop.

Passing the charity collection bins, some people were talking about the stink coming from the clothing one.

I couldn’t smell anything, though.

Got to the bus shelter and waited for only five or six minutes and the L9 arrived.

I was soon back at the complex and getting off the bus.

I called in the Obergruppenfurheresses Wardens Temporary Shed, to advise that I’d put the two bits in their fridge earlier. But no signs of either of them. They must be busy elsewhere.

Walked to the flat and put the food away. The fridge is now really cram-packed. Hehe!

Did the Health Checks and took the medications.

Got the oven warming up, took a picture from the kitchen window.

It was really bright out there now, but cold with it today.

The computer started, and I got on with updating this diary for an hour or two.

Nosh served up.

Gorgeously palatable effort tonight. An excellent rating of 9.44/10 given.

Made a reminder note to me, about the Warfarin Blood Test at 1020hrs in the morning. Stuck in over the Computer screen

Did the last Health Checks and medications were taken.

Into the £300 second-hand recliner and got a ‘New Tricks’ DVD on to watch. Fell asleep. Woke with my attention drawn to the carnosity of flesh around the midriff area, and the dull aching from within. No idea what caused this.

Then the mind wandered to thoughts of other cyber-friends having troubles with their Bill Gates computers. Tim and Doug in America, Mike and Suzie in the UK… there were no direct specific ideas floating about in the brain. Just vagueness and semi-assimilation of the frustrations and agony suffered by millions of ordinary proletariats at the hands of this highly despised multi-millionaire.

Dropped off to sleep again, and I knew that the dreams that followed had been confusing, even scary at times. But as for the content of them, I could recall nothing.

TTFN all.

Inchcock Today – Monday 19th February 2018:

Monday 19th February 2018

Mongolian: 2018 оны 2-р сарын 19-ны Даваа гарагт

0050hrs: Stirred, woke, fell asleep.

0125hrs: Stirred, woke, fell asleep.

0155hrs: Stirred, woke, fell asleep.

0220hrs: Stirred woke, waited for the brain to link-up with the body, and pandiculated. Out of the £300 second-hand recliner and into the kitchen, kettle on and set up the sphygmomanometer within minutes. Checks and medications were taken.

Off to the Porcelain Throne. Bit of attention and medicalisationing needed.

Made a brew, and got on the computer. Started this post off, and then updated yesterdays diary and posted it.

I swapped from Firefox to Chrome so I could access the WordPress Reader. Then back to Firefox to do the commenting.

I’d run out of advance drafts, so I went on CorelDraw to make some more page header graphics to use. Only managed to do two, but still.

Facebooking next. Took me a good while, cause of all the photographicalisations I put on from yesterday.

Time to get the ablutions and medicalisationing done.

Soon sorted out. Sorted black bags and took them to the chute on my way out.

A bit of drizzle and it looked rather dark depressing and dank. But it wasn’t cold at all out there.

I took this picture of the new build and Winchester Court.

Then crossed over to the walkway to make my way to the Obergruppenfurheresses temporary porta-cabin come shed.

It was somewhat muddy on the grass path. So, recalling Saturday’s nasty slipping-on-the mud on the hill path Whoopsiedangleplop and ending up on my bum; that Harold’s Haemorrhoids are still giving pain from, I walked on the roadway instead.

Got in the hut, greeted Obergefreiteress Warden Julie, and joined four other tenants waiting to go out to the bus. Cindy, Welsh Bill, Ethel and the bloke that knows everything. Had a natter and laughed with Cindy and Bill. William told me he had been in the hospital for two nights. He had Morphine poisoning! The paramedics whipped him in quickly and bypassed the queues straight into a small ward with only eight beds, and two nurses in attendance 24/7. Glad to report he is okay now, but as they warned him, he’s going to feel so tired for a few weeks.

The gang went out to catch the bus of their choice. Only four of us got on the city-bound vehicle.

I dropped off on Queen Street and went straight down to the Slab Square. Where many Nottingham Pavement Cyclist were flying around.

But none of them close to the pedestrian shoplifters. Sorry, I meant shoppers, of course.

Works were taking place in front of the Council House.

The mood seemed to be one of moroseness and gloominess from the Nottinghamian’s, as they glumly went about their business. (Mugging, pickpocketing, shoplifting, benefit frauding, whatever) Hehe!

I made my way to the Fletcher Gate Poundland store. Where, due to their having many items I usually can’t get, especially in the nibbles department; I ended up spending £14! Tsk!

Walked down the road a little to St Peter’s Square and slipped the Big issue seller a couple of quid, on the way to the shop. This visit to the Food Hall was costly too. They had some triple-fried chips, Potato Rostis that were short-dated and reduced and Sourdough Bread that cost £2 for a 200g loaf! After paying the lady at the till; I remembered that the Morrison Order is coming in the morning, instead of Thursday because of the GUM clinic appointment on Thursday! Huh, what a plonka!

Making my way to the bus stop, I noticed another piece of Nottingham Street-Art.

This ride in the centre of the slab, looked like it was ready to be open to the public.

Buy, the weather did not seem like it would encourage many customers to take advantage of it.

I wonder how much they charge?

Plodded on through the Slab Square en route.

The place was getting very depressing looking now, as the drizzle was very light, but the accompanying bleak darkness not very cheer-making at all.

The lack of Nottinghamians I found disconcerting and unnatural.

As I continued up Queen Street, I saw this poor dog with his leg up. He stayed in this position for around three minutes or two. I thought I’d be too late to capture his image by the time I got the camera out, but no, I had plenty of time.

His owner yanked him away before the animal, who was apparently struggling, could finish. Tsk!

At the apex of Queen and King Street, I observed this super-fit pretend policeman… No, I mean Community Police officer, helping a driver with his nowhere to park problem.

I sensed the alert, wide-awake, intelligent brain and keen enthusiasm of this Officer. Hehe!

I made it to the bus stop, with eight minutes to spare.

Once on the bus, I got out the Crossword Book and had a good bash at the puzzles for the entire journey. Only stopping as we arrived back at the Winwood flats on Chestnut Walk.

I hadn’t noticed, but Cindy and Ethel had got on en route.

As I got off the vehicle, I had few words of greetings with many tenants who were getting on it. Walked along to the flats with Ethel and Cindy, I could hardly keep up with them. We had a little laugh and natter, I alighted on the twelfth floor, bade them farewell, and got to the flat and put the purchases away.

Got the oven heating up, had a wee-wee, did the Health Checks and got on the computer to update this twaddle. It took a long time.

Did a bit of Facebooking.

Got the chips in the oven, and did the last Checks and medication taking.

Nosh served up.

Mackerel in BBQ sauce, triple-cooked chips, tomatoes and sliced apple. With the M&S sourdough bread, which was tasty, but had more holes in it than Gouda cheese.

Washed the pots and watched some TV. Staying awake for two full hour-long programmes! Before nodding off for ten-minutes, waking and nodding off again repeatedly for ages. The mind was in no mood for letting me sleep. I kept waking to find myself pondering or worrying about something different each time.

Inchcock Today – Sunday 18th February 2018:

Sunday 18th February 2018

Moari: Rātapu 18 Huitanguru 2018

0130hrs: Another personality woke up this morning. He had no fears, worries or lack of control over his brain’s thoughts. I recognised this condition immediately, but Inchcock’s own mode returned within seconds of this. I suffered dysania as well. I lay, pondering and musing on anything and everything that seemed to have no connection to reality; but soon came out of it, and forced myself out of the £300 second-hand recliner. Off to collate the laundry room needs, then down with the clothing.

Down in the elevator and got the washing into the machine.

Then nipped outside and took a picture of the front of the building looking up.

It didn’t come out very well, I’m afraid. Just a bit nippy out there today.

Back up to the flat and got the Health Checks done.

Took the medications with a mug of water.

Off to the Porcelain Throne. Oh, dear! Not good in any department this morning. The lesion had been bleeding, and the evacuation was, so Trotsky affected, I took a Dia capsule afterwards.

Time to go down and move the gear from washer to dryer.

Back again to the flat and took this picture from the kitchen window. I could see aeroplane lights high in the sky as they flew past. But they did not appear in the photograph for some reason.

Too small I expect.

Got on with the diaries. Started this one off up to here, then updated the Saturday post and got it sent off.

Got carried away again, and forgot about retrieving the washing from the dryer! Tsk!

I hurried down to get the washing, taking this photograph of the display board near the elevator doors on the ground floor.

I was a tad confused when I saw the current weather given as Sunny? It was pitch black outside, as the earlier photograph indicates.

At this point, I decided I’d try to get out later today into Woodthorpe Grange Park, to visit the Tropical Gardens and get some photos and a little exercise.

Into the laundry room, I went and emptied the drum of the clothing, folded them and then got them into the bag.

Another Mystery-Odd-Sock scenario! Looked in the drums of both machines and underneath all of them, but no sock.

Back up to the flat and my hopes wervanquished. I carried out an inefficacious search for the absconded grey sock. Humph!

0500hrs: Went on Facebooking, adding to albums and then the TFZers site. Started on the TFZer graphic.

1020hrs: Got it finished at last! Gosh and golly, that took some time to get something like right.

On Facebook again and posted it. I pray they like it.

Sister Jane rang me and, we had a little natter.

Off to get the ablutions done, and then get out to the Tropical Garden. (If it is open today, of course.) The ailment treatments took a bit longer than I thought they would. The lesion had to be negotiated carefully. Took the midday medications and did the Health Checks, then set off out.

This is the route out and back that I took. Not far at all.

As I got around the back of the building into the park. (See the squiggly lines? That’s where it was very muddy, I tried a slightly different route on the way back to void the slipperiest bits.) I had to do a bit of mud-skating to get through the wet sludge so I could take this picture of the back of the new build erection progress. I could see on the camera screen what a mess I’d made of shooting it. No idea what went wrong, but I tried again, and it looked much better – but the photo did not store? Turned off the camera, took the SD card and reinserted it.

Crossed my fingers the other ones will come out alright.

I went up the hill, and within a few yards, Hippy Hilda started kicking-off, nastily too. Of course, with the route there being all uphill, I could not complain, could I? Hehe!

I turned part-way up and tried another effort at the new build block.

Ah, that was a lot better! I hobbled on through the trees, taking in the wonder of nature and the smell of dog poo! Masses of broken-off branches everywhere – but some of the dogs liked them to take home.

There were many people about in the park today, at first I was surprised at how the kids were being so quiet and the dogs not barking much. Then I realised I’d not got the hearing aid in. But the weather was just grand. Not too old at all, no winds to speak of, or rain either.

The crocuses, or croci, using the Latin form, never cease to amaze me every year.

Here we are in February (I’m quick yer know, note I didn’t need to consult the calendar then. Hehe!) and these purple beauties are forcing their way through the soil, broken branches and dog droppings already.

I think they are purple anyway. Being colour shade blind and all that.

Painfully with Anne Gyna now joining Hippy Hilda in giving me some jip, I pressed on, occasionally stopping to give Hilda and Anne a rest.

I wandered slowly through the unkept part of the gardens, arriving at the compound where the Plant shop is located.

Not that I am au fait with gardening in any conceivable way, but I thought their composed and things were a decent price, and they had apparently just had a delivery of the manure and stuff.

Cause it always gets all dirty after it’s been there a while.

When I got through the doors to the Tropical Gardens, I was greeted by the now mended metal Gorilla.

The spectacles misted up in seconds. I’d forgotten how hot it was in here. There was nothing new from last year as far I could tell, but some stuff had been moved around.

Whatever these plants were I don’t know, because they did not have a sign on them as many others had. But, beautiful they were.

They had a smell that reminded me of Camp Coffee when I used to the unscrew the lid? Are they related to coffee in some way?

I watched the Koi Carp for a long time, but could not get a decent photograph of them, no matter how many times I tried.

It dawned on me then that Hippy Hilda and Anne Gyna had both relented and departed from my ailment list activations. Hehe, Hurrah!

And they stayed off, all the way back to the flats. Downhill you see!

Had a few minutes more meandering around and then left.

I really did enjoy the almost pain-free walk back down the hill. And the lack of noise from the ankle-snappers, dogs and radios, thanks to my forgetting to take the hearing aids with me. Tsk!

I took another snap of the flat building.

Taking a different way through the woods to get back on to Chestnut Grove.

The feet were beginning to sting a bit as I entered the lobby doors.

Sat there, waiting for a taxi to arrive, were Jenny, Doris and Frank. We had a little natter that I really did enjoy for a minute or two.

Health Checks and medications were done.

Updated this diary. By now it was late for me, so I got the meal sorted.

Pork Knuckle, tomatoes, snap peas, baked beans and the potato Fritters, rated this one at 8.9/10.

All good. Put the tray on the next chair while I cleaned my spectacles. fell asleep.

Woke a couple of hours later, got the pots washed and settled again to watch some TV. Nodded off.

Stirred again around an hour later, thought it was time to get up. Struggled out of the recliner and off for a wee-wee. Bit of bleeding, so I cleansed the lesion and applied the cream. Then I realised the time was 2130hrs!

Back to the £300 second-hand recliner but could not sleep again. So I put on the TV. Drifted off at the first set of commercials.

Inchcock Today – Saturday 17th February 2018:

Saturday 17th February 2018

Maltese: Is-Sibt 17 ta ‘Frar 2018

0518hrs: Woke later than I have ever done in months. This was due to not being able to get to sleep last night, until gone midnight. Although I ultimately had five hours of decent kip in, I felt all out-of-sorts with the different timing. The ailments were all being kind to me, other than Duodenal Donald that is. So, no complaints from me here.

I was out of the £300 second-hand recliner, and perpendicular in record time this morning. Off to have a wee-wee and stubbed my toe en route.

The grey-cells seemed to be in focus for a change. To the kitchen and did the Health Checks.

The sphygmomanometer took five attempts before it would work. Maybe the batteries are getting low? Although, I changed them only a few days ago. Not to fret, the readings seemed okay.

Made a brew and took the medications, then onto the computer to start this off and then update yesterday’s diary and got it posted off.

0730hrs: Finished the blogging to date.

I only just realised, in the photo, I took yesterday just before my Whoopsiedangleplop on the gravel hill; The flat to the left of mine in the picture, has had its balcony part-done and their windows replaced. The new windows looked like they will be easier to open and close. Also, better for cleaning them, being smaller ones?

Took a photo from the spare room come bedroom, come junk room, of the new windows in the flat outside on the North corner.

Went on WordPress reader next. Then comment section. Only one on this morning. Sad innit? Haha!

Then did some catching up on Facebook. Spent hours on it.

Then went on CorelDraw graphicalisationing.

The first one done was of TFZer Sandie.

The others were for Diary page headers, so I won’t show them here and spoil the fun later.

Herbert was a bit noisy tonight, even for him.

Did the Health Checks and took the medications.

Got the chips on the cook and out the TV on to see what was available for me to fall asleep to later.

Took this picture of the tree copse.

As I zoomed in to view it, the signs of new growth could be seen. Nice!

Fell asleep, when I woke, a degree of panic arrived, as I remembered the chips in the oven!

I struggled out of the recliner and into the kitchen. Where I realised that I had not turned the power on to the cooker! So, I did, belatedly. Did a bit of cleaning in the room and took the evening medications and did the Health Checks.

The Lidl chips were rather good. But I forgot about the yoghourt and left it on the Ottoman to find there in the morning, with the empty of food tray on the other chair.

I settled, watched a bit of TV and nodded-off to sleep, where I stayed for five hours blissfully unaware of any Strobe or Pillow Fire Alarm activations.

Inchcock Today – Friday 16th February 2018: Graphicationalisationing. Chiropodist tended to my feet. Prescriptions Collected. Missed the bus. Nice walk through the park, where the worst of the Whoopsiedangleplops started. Local fires. Worra Day!

Graphic wot I dun to make yer fink! Hehe!

Friday 16th February 2018

Friday 16 February 2018

0045hrs: I woke-up shivering and shaking, yet it was not cold at all. Fading fast distant memories of dreaming that was fear-making, convinced me these were the cause of the Shaking Shaun situation.

The shakes stopped as I looked around at the various piles of paperwork lying about all over the room, waiting to be sorted and filed away. I decided this job must be tackled right way. But first, the Porcelain Throne needed attending.

Out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off to the wet room. Trotsky Terence’s input had increased considerably, enough to cost me a long time cleaning up after the movement. So I decided to take a Dia capsule with the morning medications.

In the kitchen, made a brew, and got the sphygmomanometer, thermometer, hypodermic, creams, lotions, medications, drops etc. out and did the Health Checks.

Taking the Morrison own label anti-Trotsky capsule with the morning medications. Without dropping anything.

Foolishly, I opened the window to take this photographicalisation facing towards the City Centre, hiding over the hills to my left.

A mistake that, I didn’t realise how cold it was out there. It felt freezing to me.

Later I looked on Accuweather:

They had a section with the next eight-hour forecast for Nottingham on it.

While tacking the filing of the paperwork, I realised that the Foot Lady Sue would be calling at 0930hrs to cut the now painfully long toenails. These are the feet, with the scars of endless old and new toe-stubbing escapades! Hehe!

I will humble myself and apologise for my forgetting her last appointment, and crawl unashamedly!

Putting away the medical paperwork, reminded me that I have to collect the prescriptions from the chemist today as well. At least the walk there and back should be less painful, with the nails and corns done? Hehe!     Better wrap-up well before I go!

The innards were beginning to rumble again.

I started this page going up to here, then updated and finished yesterday’s diary.

Went on to Chrome from Firefox, to go in WordPress Reader. Back to Firefox for the comments.

Titivated the front room a bit.

Tried again to do some graphicalisational work, remembering to save regularly this time. Got carried away, and didn’t finish the first one, cause I wanted to make it too detailed. Tsk!

Early ablutions were performed so I will be ready when Foot Lady Sue arrives and not keep her waiting. Then have time to catch (Hopefully) the 1030hrs bus down into Sherwood. Making it a little less far for me to walk.

Sue arrived at 0944hrs and got straight on to do the nails and feet. Made an appointment for her next visit in 11th April. Paid her, gave her an Easter Egg and some DVDs I’d watched or was not interested in, thanked her, and she was off. I got myself ready for the trip to the Chemist.

But, foolishly tried to pick-up some of the errant toenail clippings and lost a lot of time. I thought I might miss the bus, so kerfuffled about in haste.

Got down onto Chestnut Walk and realised I had not got my hearing aids in. Too late to go back and fetch them now. But I could see the folks still waiting for the bus at the other end. Thre was a good few of them, so I assumed the coaches had not arrived yet, so took this photo of the delivery lorry blocking the road.

At the bus stop, I had a few farcical chats with some other tenants. The one between Nora and me… no, Doris, was the best as we had both forgotten to put our hearing-aids in this morning. Hehehe! A lovely lady is Doris.

Dropped off at the bottom of Winchester Hill (Only two stops). Hobbled up Mansfield Road on the opposite side today; A change is as good as rest? Haha!

As I got towards the crest of the hill, I came across those poor devils van parked conveniently, especially for someone on a disabled scooter or a mother with pram and children. But I did feel some commiserations with the man. He was a scaffolder working on some flats in a big house and really had no option but to break the law of the road did the man.

Over the hill and down into Carrington. And this Herbert of a Nottingham Pavement Cyclist nearly hit me as his rode towards me, and I had to move, there was no way he was going to! The git! I wondered as I turned to take this photo. I pondered on if he even noticed me! But my mood changed a few hundred yards further down the road.

I was totally amazed at the skills of the two carers, teachers or whoever they were, with this group of young ankle-snappers, as they plodded along so organised.

I’m so glad now, with how this photo came out. Cute is the word.

How do they get the nippers to walk along at the same speed while holding hands? Truly flabberghasted me and gained my admiration they did.

Ten minutes later I was in the Lidl shop. Got some lemon yoghourts, two cheesy cobs, chunky chip, cheese curls and vine tomatoes. Paid at the self-serve checkout without needing assistance once! The smug mode adopted! Mind you Obergruppenfurheress lady supervising we idiot shoppers, and shoplifters kept a keen eye on me, throughout! Hehe!

Out and to the Carrington Pharmacy, to collect the prescriptions. A beautiful young lady greeted me with a smile.

She then returned and pointed out that Deepak, the owner and pharmacist wanted to have a chat with me. The annual chinwag, you know, nothing to bother about. But of course, this delay meant I would miss the bus connection in Sherwood and would have to walk back up through Woodthorpe Grange Park to the flats.

But, I wasn’t feeling too bad, the feet had just been done, and he’s a grand chap, so I went in the consulting room with him and answered his questions. At the end of the consultation, I mentioned about the Protection Pants costing a lot of money, especially now with two sets of bleeding and my sometimes needing three pairs a day. I think he might mention this in his report to the doctor for me, to see if I can get them on prescription. (Thank heavens for help from my mate, Michael.)

I thanked him, gave the staff their Easter egg, and off to the bus stop and caught one into Sherwood.

Nearly fell off the side-saddle seat I had to use on the trip. Hehe! But the upsetting thing was getting off of the bus, checking the time and realising I only had four minutes to get over the road and up the hill to the bus stop in time to catch the L9 bus. I’d taken just a few paces and had to stand there looking at the L9 picking up the other tenants across the road and pulling off, and it was early! Tsk!

But I fretted not. Because the sun was out, there was no rain or winds, and I was in fit enough state to enjoy a slow amble through the park to my home on the hill. No Anne Gyna, Hippy Hilda or Duodenal Donald bothering me either. So I did that.

As I made my way up Mansfield Road, passing the bus stop and the new gym, I turned back to take a photo of Sherwood and noticed some Nottingham Pavement Cyclists actually pushing their bikes on the pavement. I was impressed.

But not for long. Reaching the downward part of the road, the Pavement Cyclists mounted up again. Humph!

Again, I was not perturbed or irritated! Because when I got in the park, I relaxed and became almost serene.

The dogs taking their owners for a walk, the birds in song, even signs of new growth here and there, all boosted my contentment factor. I stood for a great while just looking at nature.

Up to the top of the Pavement Cyclist free path, and right to the beloved, but sparse tree copse.

I observed that the hoist on the block of flats was on my floor, outside the bedroom window. I noticed that some apartments were in the process of having the balconies done, to differing degrees.

I was able to take a photo of the new centre flat’s progress. I was feeling good!

I put the camera back in my pocket, picked up the bags, started to walk on down the gravel hill… this was when I ended up on my haemorrhoid affected bum sat on the path after slipping on the mud! I hope no-one saw this from the flats.

A man and woman appeared from nowhere and assisted me back on my feet and sat me on the park bench. Bless them, they seemed genuinely concerned for my health. Informing me, that I looked terribly pale! A park worker joined us, inquiring if I needed an ambulance summoning. I felt such a fool! I thanked them all and told them I was okay. Which apart from the to me at least, indisputable facts that the haemorrhoids were stinging rotten and bleeding, I really did feel fine. But I thought it best not to mention the piles. Haha!

Made my back to the apartment, put the bags down and went into the wet room. And, oh boy, were them rectal lumps bleeding and hurting! Still, got things cleaned up and medicated in no time. Changed Protection Pants, naturally.

Anticepticated things, and got the purchases sorted and put away.

After a little rearranging was done, there was just enough room in the freezer to get the chips in it. I did wonder why I bought the tomatoes, already having so many in stock like? Huh!

Opened the sack of medications next and got them stored rotationally in the appropriate drawers.

Back to the wet room for a wee-wee. I checked for any new bleeding but was pleased to find none at all. A little pleasantly surprised, as well.

Did the Health Checks and took an extra Codeine 30g, in the hopes of easing the discomfort from the rear end.

1400hrs: Set about updating this and getting the photos sorted.

Got the oven warming ready for the chips to go in.

1610hrs: Got so far as to here. Checked the situation from the rear end. Still stinging, but minimal bleeding.

Kept finding toenail clippings wherever I went in the room. Hehe!

Cleaning up the preparation mess from the meal cooking, I observed some smoke on the far horizon outside.

I fetched the camera and returned to the kitchen.

Opened the window and took these shots of the incident.

I lost a lot of picture quality by zooming in, but nothing, settings etc. I tried could produce any really decent, distinct pictures.

A bit disappointed with my feeble efforts here when I downloaded them. The Lidl chips cooking in the oven needed turning, and did were not browning much at all. The thumb where I burn it the mass of water and fat at the bottom of the cooking tray is okay. Hehe!

Got the nosh sorted and served up. Mackerel in BBQ sauce, onion, sugar-snap peas, sliced Cox’s apple, tomatoes, the chips and two cheesy cobs, buttered sliced tomato and anchovies.

I put some Oriental Fish sauce on the cobs. Very tasty!

I settled in the recliner, the tray of vittles on my knee, and realised I had left the large mug of fresh clementine juice in the kitchen. Tsk!

Back to collect it from the bench. And saw another load smoke in a back garden of one of the houses on Cavendish Vale.

A lot of fires around Sherwood today?

I zoomed in, it looked like a bin fire of some sort to me. Didn’t half give-off some smoke. It soon eased off, mind.

Back to the victuals, and the chips were barely lukewarm by then.

Most annoyed with myself.

I am a photographicalisation addicted fool!

At least this photographicalisation taken to the left came out okay and without any smoke in it.

Got the Health Checks and medications sorted.

It had been a busy and incident ridden day for me this Friday. I fear this might have been the cause of my not being able to get to sleep at all, not even the odd nod-off, for hours and hours. I tried all of the usually successful tricks; Reading, TV and DVD, all with total failure.

The brain assiduously took me to places, ideas, fears, of its own will and choice. It led me into pondering over pneumatophilosophy, aliens, death and dying and forced me into finding faults with the argentocracy and self-serving politicians today. No rest nor sleep for me tonight. Thanks to the discombobulated brains welter of autonomous wanderings! Humph!
