A bright morning with snow.

Bright-looking urine in the bag is good!

Down to just four visits today.

Email from Asda – order on its way.

Made a brew of Glengettie.

Asda order arrived.
.
Pondered on whether to have casserole for a nosh?
Put the rest of the fodder away.
Fridge before and after delivery.
Note that it is not full!
Tried the Vegan butter later. It didn’t
spread well, but tasted grand!

Took some more view photos of the light snowfall. See
above… Not the houses, which I reckon must either have
a Cannabis farm in the loft, that, or they are so rich
that they can afford to heat the attic? Hehehe!

.

The footfall in the snowfall, in the bottom field.

Later, a man and his dog caught my attention.
Well, it was the wildly wagging tail of the dog
mainly. Boy, that dog loved the snow!

During the day, I had the attention of Carer Josef,
Carer Adele, also & I think Carer Carolynne.
But since the arrival of
any name could well be the wrong one.
Sorry about that!

The snow gave us another covering.

Throne visit six attended. Every one of the
previous sessions were a watery-gurgling mess.
This one was the complete opposite..
lost out to the new King
of the Throne’s return – !
followed the evacuation.

Then, I walked into the door frame on my way out...
And pulled the  tubing
that was stuck in Little Inchie. Naturally, this left poor
.
Undaunted by this mini-series of acci-whoopS,
I made a refreshing mug of Thompson’s Punjana tea…
Taking the first drink of it at the computer,
gave me a nudge,
and the mug and tea dropped from my grasp!
Of course, I took this in my usual casual, calm,
devil-may-care-but-not-me nonchalance.
.
I was close to crying with frustration!

I made the meal of the day…
I’d forgotten about the potatoes in the slow cooker. Not that
I needed them; I’d gone a smidge.OTT without them.
The plant butter on the bread rolls tasted wonderful.

Did a bit on this blog, mostly getting things wrong, lost
all concentration as my eyes failed, and my head
drooped. I gave up!

Would you believe it? Another visit!

Not much gen today. It’s been another in-and-out-of-it day, up and down, and I fell asleep on the computer chair. Carer Carolynne, or Sam, or… came in and woke me, saying I? was slowly slipping floorwards… Hehe!

A smidge of bloody urine in the well-filled bag this morning.

Emptied the bag and bucket, washed and disinfected. Got the waste bags sorted. And called to the Porcelain Throne. Messy! Got the ablutions done, many cuts shaving, but nothing serious. Then… back on the Throne for the second session. Cleaned the floor.

Checked on the lack of food in the fridge. Hope the new bank card arrives soon… then I’ve got to get the details changed on all the sites… Oh, dear.
Off to get the ablutions done. No showering; it is too early to disturb folks with the noise of the drain and pump. Had a stand-up job. But it still took me over two hours to finish everything, including Throne visits three and four. (Yes!) Snf that was without doing the teeth (I forgot, Humph!) And didn’t medicate Little Inchies Fungal Lesion, Harold’s Haemorrhoids or even put the eye drops in! I did the olive oil in both ear holes.

Had a mock clean-up in the kitchen.
Then, much to my surprise, the Ocado delivery arrived. This was because Ocado takes your money as you ordered (before the card was cancelled) and then compensates you for any shortages within the next five working days, as I understand it.

The good news was that they had sent some Apache potatoes, and bread, lots of bread. I had a job to get it all in the freezer.
I pondered on having a can of the minted pea soup with some potatoes this evening. Then realised it was afternoon already.
Had I had another Mind-Blank?

Late afternoon, the first snow of the year descended. I tried to get some shots in, despite it being so dark already, with the hopes of catching some snow in them.

Got a few flakes in this one…
And this one…
And again…
Not sure about this wider snap… The snow had stopped by the time I took this one.
Carer Kara was here, and as she left, she handed me two letters that had been posted. One was the… The British Gas electricity bill… for
£453!

Got some tomatoes seasoned to have some sausages with later.
The peas & potatoes had lost favour!

No more snow, but looking glum.

Computer blogging and mistake making.

Oh, not so clear again.

Nosh-Time! (00:45hrs)

Vegan Sausages…
And they were Grrreat!
Added the links to the tomatoes. Which were
seasoned with sea salt, vinegar, basil, and
some imitation soy bacon bits too!
Sourdough bread to dunk in the tomatoes
and dribbled all down the dressing gown.
acci-whoopFinding its way between my legs vis the chest
and mould of the stomach and onto poor
Little Inchies Fungal Lesion. Not only that,
but it got onto the tubing and other bits of
So sleep was further delayed due to the need to clean up
myself, the chair and change clothes.

During this, I managed to misplace my hearing aids.
With , and all getting worse, there is no chance of reading the subtitles!
So, no watching football on the telly.
It took me until about 03:30 hours, but I eventually found
the hearing aids. They had fallen and ended up underneath
the 1963 Hopewells E-plan cabinet with the doors falling off.

I got the picker-upperer but had to get down on my knees. Why?
Because right at the back against the wall, I spotted my missing wind-up torch… three various tablets… the missing ultra-black-ink pen, a letter
from British Gas telling me I must update my cash card details,

Getting back up… Hah!

I got settled, took some painkillers, swore a bit and off in
a search of around 04:40hrs!

The night bag this morning. 5-6 on colour patch.

Blimus! This is the day pouch an hour or so later.
Full and bloody – or bloody full. Hehehe!

Two more hours later, this!.

Carers table.

Bad photo of right foot.
But it is better than yesterday.

Evening shot of the sky.

Evening shot of the sky, slightly lower.

Down a bit more…

Down to the car park.

Now you may be wondering where all the details
and other photographs are?. So am I!
I remember having problems with the computer last night. Seriously disconcerting. It was so bad that I had to force close the computer and reboot it again. I think as this was done, It was Carer Jozef that arrived, and I moaned and groaned at my luck a little. Sorry, mate.
Worse was to come!
I’d lost six hours of CorelDraw work. The Ode, photographs, header cartoon graphics, and what was saved were virtually too hard to find, as they seemed to have been saved all over the hard and external storage… I was furious!
But defeated. I turned off the computer, hoping to sort it all out in the morning. Then took the evening shots above and got the stew made.

Well, not stew, more a can of soup, to which I added a mass of soy imitation bacon bits and a load of baked mini-cubes of potatoes.
Along with the traditional for me, tomato passata, liquid smoke, BBQ sauce and salt and vinegar.
Despite my so low mood, I enjoyed it.
Flavour Rating: 7.8/10.

Worran ‘orrible day!

Bit of blood in the night bag again.

Got some spuds in the crock pot and forgot all about them.

.Shot of the dreary morning later on.

One of many brews of tea that I made.
I split a few and forgot all about the others.
Some left with the tea bag brewing and went cold.
Some near the computer went cold.

Asda delivery.
The kind driver to them into the kitchen for me.
And put them anywhere he could find room.
I appreciated his help.
The Vegan shortbread biscuits were soon demolished! Hehe!.

Items I’d missed.

Waste bags sorted out.
INR DVT Warfarin nurse arrived.
Blood taken. Little natter enjoyed.
By me, anyway…
The next few hours were lost in the ether.
A carer came… she signed the book, so I am right.
Computerisationing, with accompanying problems with

not a happy laddie, methinks. Frustrated!
Noise from the list engineers, but can’t be helped.

Afternoon shot, then I lost another couple of hours.
During which, Carer Carole-Anne (I think) arrived
to return the laundry for me.

A couple of hours or so later, I took these shots
the evening view. No sunsetting to shoot – Humph!
As the darkness fell, I took more snaps.
Pleased with the two above and below.

Carer Richard arrived later. But I think one came earlier
but the memory blanks obscured things again.

Found this photo of last night’s meal.
I don’t think I put in on yesterdays?

Horrific Day
I would have topped myself…
But I didn’t have time. Hehe!

I really cannot remember much about yesterday.
But I’ll try to decipher the notes and use the pictures in hopes of working out the chronological bits I can be prompted on.

Throne, unblocked WC. Something about the cancelled Asda order, no idea what, the writing and eyes are so bad.
Carer Richard called. Did the first BP reading.

And urine colouring. Not good at all

Getting the paperwork together for Friday’s brain scan…found a letter, but it gave the date as Thursday, not Friday? The Warfarin nurse arrived – and did not have time to help me sort out the problem.
The pain, no, agony from Little Inchie was getting worse and worse, as time moved on.
Carer Carolynne arrived, and could see the agony I was going through, and rang the District Nurse for me, they told her someone would call to tend to me. Bless her!! I am confused so am going to have to guess at the timing and names over the next four hours.
The nurse said there was a blockage in the bladder. Squirted something down the tube, and reconnected the pouch. When I mentioned the appointment for the scan having two dates on them, and needing to know which is the one to go to, she kindly rang all the five or six numbers on the letterheads from the QMC, and could not get through to any of them. I’m sure she then rang the QMC switchboard, and they could not get through to them either. The operator said she’d ring me back later. They did; the Carer told me it was for Friday. Of course finding the letter with the Thursday one on, I’d rung Easy-Link to see if they could cancel the Friday one, and move it to Thursday. No! But they will try Thursday to let me know if they have any cancellations.
My head was spinning now.
Got the yesterday’s blog, and didn’t get around to starting this one until about 21:30hrs! The eyes, as usual, were failing and blurred now, by balance was all over the place. And the new pouch was got being pee’d into. What tiny bit was there was bloodied!
Don’t know when or why I took this one above.

Found this one, Richard.

This shows how well-coloured and heavy-flowing the wee had been the first thing.

Then this one is what it is like now…

Another earlier shot.

The yopo two notepads are mine, so you can see why I am making a mess of this blog? The bottom one was what Carer Carolynne wrote to remind me after. Carer Jozeph. Calls from unknown people as well, a con here, methinks was being tried.
Took what I’d hoped would be sunset photos, but the clouds were not playing.

A little later… I did the last wee check…

Then the nearest thing to a sunset…

Carer Richard told him about the horrid day of disasters and asked him not to put the night pouch on tonight.
I been up all night, no sleep.
Fretting, worrying and fed up.

Now suddenly, the wee-wee is flowing again, and the pain has begun to ease after about eight hours of just the odd bloodied trickle.
Oh, dear, it’s a bit bloodied again now.

06:00hrs, I’m going to make a meal.
Well, a pot noodle!

Worked all through the night on this blog.
Fell asleep around 04:00hrs.

Another quickie here, folks, sorry.

Up at 06:20hrs. The night pouch was removed. Which started off very annoyed with me, Back-Pain-Brenda, for the rest of the day. Huh!

However, the urine was a healthy colour. Got the pouch emptied. Wrapped it was per the instructions in a blue bag. Then thought I’d better get a shave at long last. I stripped (Not the catheter, of course) and had a good stand-up body scrubbing session. As I was about to get the shaving done, the door chime chimed. No, I didn’t mean that… the intercom chimed; luckily, I’d left the wet room door open, or else I’d never have heard it. It was the Ocado delivery I ordered last week and forgot all about, and ordered an Asda delivery for today as well. I know, four weeks on the trot now that I’ve done this. Is there no hope for me?

Not a lot of things, though, but some expensive stuff in there, And some favourites that no other store stocks now?

Like Marmite crisps, well loaded up now!.

The costly Flash mop thingamajigs, wet and dry pads.
They were on sale at half-price!!!

Then the Lynt Easter eggs the carers like, and fresh (Kenyan) podded peas: neither of which are available elsewhere!

Some reet treats here, Alcohol-Free fizzy pretend champagne.
Blood orange tonic weather as well. I shared a bottle of the ersatz plonk with someone later on.

Then after getting things put away and taking a painkiller to appease the bone-shaking Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley, the door chime did go off, and in came Carer Richard as I was putting the kettle on.

The lad got down to sorting out the medications for me, and we had a few minutes of the nattering session, during which he gave me some advice. He was feeling a smidge better, he said this morning. Great news; if he meant it, bless him. Off he trotted, with me telling him to get to bed. Hehe!

Moments later, the Asda order arrived. A big one this was; it filled eight carrier bags and two boxes.

Accifauxpa getting one of the carriers inside.
I was carrying it with both hands and tripped over the stick as it fell from my arm… This caused the inserted into Little Inchie Catheter Cathleen tubing to be yanked a little. Christ, it hurt! Still does, actually, nine hours later!

However, being the trooper, hero, and brave bold man I am, after stopping the bleeding, I just got on with the mammoth job of sorting out the delivery. Naturally, it didn’t bother a man of my calibre in the least.

I realised that I’d bought several packets of pickled onion crisps. Cause I’d forgotten that I’d ordered the Marmite crisps. I may have to live on them for a few weeks… along with the Cheesy Curls…
But no, to my amazement, they had delivered so many of the items that they had not had in for ages, I ordered two of them or another variety… they fooled me and only had one item not available.

I  restocked the Carers and Nurses shelf.

Hohoho! Just look at the new biscuits they had in stock!.

Galaxy Chocolate digestives – Bootiful!
Maryland Cookies – Caramelised! Great!

A sliced Farmhouse loaf!!!

Very Nice!

Well, a nicely stocked fridge & Freezer now!

I am a glutton!

To say how busy I was all day…

Thus not concentrating on drinking, I was pleased with the
urine flow. Although in the evening, it did get a bit bloody.

Just after midday, a shot of the Sherwood housing.

Then things got busy and went pear-shaped after Carer Kara, Sarah or Samantha visited to see me…
Sister Jane rang, and we had a nice gossip.
Nurse Christina called to say she would be coming tomorrow to take the INR blood test for me.
Esther called to see how I was. Bit unfortunate in the timing cause just as I caught the damned catheter tube again, Argh! And the blood flowed as she rang, so I could not concentrate properly on what she was saying.
Then a belated Amazon delivery arrived, washing soda.
Then…

acci-whoop

It was getting late, and my eyes were as usual, getting increasingly blurred; I think I must have hit the wrong combination of keys, and CorelDraw froze on me!  I lost all the work I’d just done as I was about to save them to file. Grrr!
I had to force close things and restart the computer. With fingers crossed that all the photos of the sunset and the day’s happenings would still be on CorelDraw – HA! No chance! I booted and opened CorelDraw, and ALL THE WORK I’d done over the last three hours HAD BEEN LOST!
Not only did I have to do it all again, but the file had to be name changed, and I lost over an hour trying to find the original to do so!

Not going too well at the moment!

Carer Charley arrived, and we laughed and nattered for a short while, which cheered me up a smidgeon.

I took the above picture while waiting for the kettle to boil.

This below is the last day photo I’d taken and forgot to put on earlier.

You can see the sunset getting ready to appear at the bottom.
And Bootiful it was when it came.

I had another bash at this blog, then got myself something to eat.
A reet treat, too!

Well, apart from the soggy tomatoes and not nice
Kenyan peas and slightly tasteless potatoes,
The imitation pork & strawberry cheesecake
were fine. Taste-Rating: 6.2/10.

Arrived. Got the
and the medications are given. We put the world to right during our three-minute chinwag. (We brought back hanging, 20-year minimum sentences for anyone who kills anyone with a vehicle, Escooters, or bike) Made a life term to be a life term for murderers, and got rid of all the Parole Boards, and sentenced everyone involved in freeing a convicted killer to murder again to life imprisonment on bread & water, with no visitors and no medical treatment. Made cannabis legal, unless when driving. Brought down the cost of Vodka for Richard, and Marmite Crisps for me. Well, that was a fine start. Now we have to form a political Party.
Hehehe!

THE PAROLE BOARD WILL CUT IT SHORT!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

DVT Nurse, then the Urology Nurse Fiona, who called twice; First, to take off the catheter and scan the bladder and returned to scan again. She was not so happy with this one. and to see how and if the urine was flowing. She’s coming back tomorrow to do another bladder scan, with ink inserted. And if necessary, to put the catheter back in. Oh, dearie me! Amazon delivery. Important letters arrived. Trotsky Terence was in full charge of the many messy Porcelain Throne usages. I took a tumble in the hallway. Got to stop taking the Anti whatsit capsules… but may need to start taking them tomorrow according to the ink reading results on the scanner. I’m thoroughly confused now. Although this is nothing unusual.

Burnt fingers on the oven. Then I lost the mobile phone. Found it four hours later… I prefer not to say where I found it… Oh, go in then… It was in the oven!?!? Luckily the oven was not on. The question is, why and how did I put it in there in the first place? Pass!

So, an even busier day, the photos and graphics will get put on. Many memory blanks, it’s getting late already and I’ve not started the blog graphics yet.

Two morning photos were taken between the multitude of messy, spongy, gooey visits suffered.
.

.
Potatoes are put in a slow cooker around 08:00hrs.
Got taken out around 21:00hrs.

Nurse Fiona arrived, she was a breath of fresh air, Bless Her! (Yes, I fell in love again!) She was here for well over an hour. When she’d painlessly removed the catheter from Little Inchie, she did a bladder scan.
Too much urine in the bladder. Back to water drinking. That amount of urine should have been released into the catheter. She said she’ll return later in the afternoon to have a look. Constantly reminding me to drink, drink, drink! Hehe!
So I drunk!

The Asda order arrived

.
Made sure I guzzled water while putting the food away!

.
Delivery

.
Bit naughty with the biscuits?

.
Cut back on this order

.
Although… maybe not enough? Haha!

.
When Fiona returned, I’d shrank a two-litre bottle of Valley Spring water. A one-litre Sunrise water and a flavoured 2-litre Elm Water.
I showed Fiona the water bottle for the urine and the drops I’d passed, and Fiona seemed happy enough with my efforts. She asked me to try and pass again, which I did, but not a lot. Seeing the liquid changed her mood a smidgen, And she did another bladder scan there and then.
She, or someone else, will return tomorrow with a different scanner. I don’t think she was impressed with whatever it was that the scanner revealed. She repeated that if I can’t pass more water, they will have to refit the Catheter in the morning; if so, I’m to restart taking the Acute Pyelonephritis capsules.
It’s all go here!

Teatime rains

Around 19:30 hrs. Wonderful sky!

Carer Kara and Joseph called during the day. Kara will try to contact Easy-Link to get a lift to the Coppice Mental Health Hospital for me. And contact Easy Link about whether or not I owe them or they’ve taken the money out.

Well, fancy that!

Straps were left by Fiona in case the catheter has to go back on tomorrow.
at the thought of it!

Fiona left reminders for me about things. I can’t remember what they were at the moment. They were for the carers as well, I think.

Carer Richard Did the late call on me. Checked the Meds, taps, and cooker. He wrote a message in marker pen on the fridge door, as he knew I was abbot to cook my belated meal of the day, to remind me to turn off the taps and cooker.

Early morning nosh prepared.
Very nice, too, it was.
Flavour Rating 8.5/10.

I REGRET I’M NOT VERY WELL TODAY. THE ANNE GYNA TABLETS, ALONG WITH THE MONTHS PRESCRIPTIONS, HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVED OR FETCHED (As you can read in the Ode above, my love).

HAD CARER RICHARD NOT GONE OFF SICK, I’M CERTAIN THAT HE WOULD HAVE SPOTTED THE PROBLEM AND SORTED THIS OUT.
I’m not up to coping with computing. The constant noise from the imbecile dwelling above me and the Cataract, Glaucoma eyes worsening
. The big thing is the Angina pain from the lack of tablets; this is also constant. The months’ prescriptions were, I was informed by a Carer, coming Friday – then Saturday; it’s now Sunday, no chance of getting any today. Today, they are coming tomorrow, on Monday. Tuesday, I’ve got an appointment with two different nurses, one DVT and another, can’t remember what department she is from… possibly the Mental Health hospital, but I’m guessing here.

PLEASE FORGIVE THE LACK OF CONTENT. TUESDAY WILL BE THE SAME, WITH THE APPOINTMENTS I’VE GOT TO GO TO.
I can zoom in on CorelDraw and Word, so will try to put the Ode, HC Log and Nottingham News Snippets in. For any photos, I’ll just not have the time to doctor or comment much on any. Cheers.

Early morning shots.
Health Check Log
.
Egyptian Cotton shirt.
Alright then, made in China cotton.
Hehehe!.
No concentration.
Carer Ty told me I’d been given the wrong tablets this morning; I was given the evening doses! No wonder I feel so bad. What with no Omeprazole, now I’ve taken too much Warfarin, and the level is already too high!

The only thing that’s keeping me going at this moment, is that France are losing to Argentina – not that I like it, anyway. France made a comeback in the second half and ended at 3-3 in extra time.  Then on to penalties to decide. Argentina won 4-2. I should have felt sorry for France’s Mbappé, with three goals in a world cup final and ended up on the losing side. But I didn’t.

I’ll get something to eat; I’ve got a potato in the crockpot. I’ll see what’s left in the fridge and freezer to have with it, not that I’m hungry with the Angina perpetually performing its pain-giving. If it’s cooked (the potato, not the pain). I might try to bake the slices in the oven. Oh, Ann Gyna ain’t half giving me some grief! Things are not good!

A well-seasoned spud in the pan. I would have had this if I didn’t forget to turn the slow cooker on.
.
Last bag of cheese curls instead. Humph!

.
Bit of a mist coming on.

.
The odd-looking bag of BBQ flavouring filled three of the food containers.
I put a lot of the seasoning into the beans.
But couldn’t really taste anything BBQish?.
SHAME! Taste: 7/10.

05:30hrs: I stirred, and as I began to move, I could have sworn that the room was full of people who stood around drinking, like at a party around me! Oower!.
The images faded. Mayhap they were part of a dream I’d been having? Or not.

I found the readings from last night’s Health Checks; they were stuck in my protection Pants when I took a wee-wee. (Don’t ask, please!) I put them in the NHS Analyser and got these figures. Same for 3 days now.
Off to the wet room again to utilise the . All went well. A painless, bloodless and mess-less evacuation!

acci-whoop I got some spuds sorted for the crock-pot. Rubbed in some Ben’s smoke flavouring, let it soak in, and placed the dish on top of the microwave for later use.
But forgot all about these until I spotted them several hours later.

I went all industrial and work-ethically minded; when I remembered Sister Janet and Brother-in-Law Pete were coming later.
I got the wines I’d been getting for over the last year and got them in the box.
The top one was all wines. Well, they do love them!
The bottom box had some spirit mixers, Glengettie tea bags and some other stuff; the Dementia Doreen had already made me forget the contents within. Da Bitch!
Next, I tackled a bit of cleaning up on the mini-hallway.
Not a hard job. And it took me only half an hour or so.
But Anne Gyna was not pleased with me in the slightest… in fact, she got rather nasty with me. Even gave me a few stabs of pain in the outer ribs, which meant she was really angry with me for doing all the bending down.
The short-lived domesticalisationing period was abandoned after this.

I went back onto the computer and replied to the mass of comments that had come in for me on WordPress. I answered them both. I got a text message as I was doing the comment replying; it was from Iceland. They had some products unavailable and three substituted. Took a look at the email link, and no problem with them this time. Returned to the comments and got them finished.

I had an instant, no-warning arrack from Dizzy Dennis. I’ve been free of these for months now, so it came as a bit of a shock. Short and sharp, but during those few minutes, it was impossible to stand up safely. Mmm?

Once able to, I rose and went in to make a few of Thompson’s Punjana tea.
I took the first photo through the kitchen window.

Then noticed the snow on the roofs of the nearer houses.

It was not thick, more like a dusting that was in the process of defrosting as the day moved on.

I took a few more shots of the streets, ways and avenues housing.

The next to the last, the penultimate picture going downwards… I’m waffling again, am I not? Sorry.

Anyway, Devonshire looked like it had plenty of Saturday workers living there.
The drive lines in the road showed signs of tyre tracks.

Some coming home, and others leaving for work.

The final shot was a great disappointment to me. I noticed the moon had come through the moving clouds, and I retrieved the put-away Lumix camera to take a shot of the moon. But it didn’t get through the clouds again. Grumph!
Later on, when putting the photographs onto CorelDraw, the 4th down shot appealed to me as a possible competition for this blog. It doesn’t seem a good idea now, but it did then.

It was the Iceland delivery arriving. The driver kindly dumped the carrier bags in the doorway for me and shot. But he did first, move the heavier ones, containing the last of the collection for a year’s wines for Sister Jane and Brother-in-Law Pete for Christmas.

The size of the slotted cream shortcake biscuits I bought was amazing! See the comparison of the size against the stove and hob.

I also bought a tub of nibbles for the Carer’s party at Christmas. That was bigger than I thought it would be, too… but not as colossal as the Shortbreads were. Hehe!

Next photo, the vegan stuff is for me, the others as treats and thank yous.
I used to love those chicken frankfurters, but I had no temptations to have any. Well, I did, but I resisted them!

I’d got some Spring Water, 4×2 litres, as last year in December, they became hard to get. So this year might be worse? Sliced Wholemeal cobs, or bread rolls, and some self-treats. Jacob’s Leicester cheese crackers! Yee-Haa!

I got the Friday blog finished and posted. To the accompaniment of Herbert’s clang, tap tapping.

Things suddenly became hectic!
Jane & Pete arrived. They didn’t have a lot of time, and I wanted to take a photo of them to put on this blog. Once we started talking I forgot all about the picture taking (Afterwards, this made my blood boil with self-hatred for forgetting to!)
arrived. Now I had three voices to confuse me…
Then or turned up. I was in a mental pickle. Unsure of what happened then, but I recall going to the elevator to speak to Jane & Pete and thinking I’d forgotten why… no, I’m sure I forgot. I was well-confused by then.

Ah, yes, I recall it now; we (Jan, Pete and me) went on the balcony; Pete said they had to park at the end of the buildings. I suggested we take a photo of it. I did it on the Lumix, and Pete used his Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, £2005 mobile

Well, well, well, the internet is down, I’m all confused about everything, Ann Gyna is giving me some… and now Herberts started off again! Never a dull moment at number 72! Hehehe!

Arrived while I was watching the England v France match. We both agreed that it was a fix. The ref had definitely been bribed to ensure the French animals got away with foul and foul, and he booked the English players as well.
Our missed penalty, by, of all people, Harry Kane, was a heart-breaker.
The poor chap must be devastated.
Losing to the French is never easy.
This time, it could have a crippling effect on the player’s morale.
Not that France needed to play so dirty, they could have won without the help of the obviously back-handed bent referee. They are a good enough team.
Spit!

So, listen to this, you may not believe it, my maties:
I woketh up and soon had it worked out that I’d been asleep for very nearly eight hours! EIGHT HOURS! Danged well staggering!
I didn’t write the time on my memory pad, but it was almost light when I went to make a brew and take these two photos through the kitchen window. I didn’t make the tea after all and made for the wet room to get the Ablutionalisationing done. Collecting the clothes needed for afterwards, with me.
The teeth-cleaning triggered , and it bled a fair bit. The shaving went well, just two teeny-weeny nicks, and they didn’t bleed much at all.
At had to divert to the before getting into the shower. That didn’t go so well. A smidge messy, it seems that is making a fight out of it, for control of the evacuations with . He’s ahead at the moment, and a messy result that needed much cleaning up and disinfectioning.
Amazingly one of the tiny on the neck started bleeding after I’d looffered the back. It reminded me of that Hotel horror movie. Hehehe! I wanted to take a photograph cause it did look scary with the blood swirling around the drain. But I hadn’t taken the camera in with me. Shame, that would have looked great in the blog! Tsk!
Being as it was Saturday, I decided to put the jammies back on with the heavy dressing gown. No deliveries (I thought at the time), nurses, only the carers to come today. (How even I can forget that the Iceland order was being delivered today...
Made a brew, did the and on the computer to feed the figures in the analyser a create the graphics. In the Red Hypertension – 1 zone again, but not too far away from the Amber. Content with this.

The Iceland man cometh
I remembered he was coming the moment I saw that…

I got the bags inside and sorted them out. I did wonder why I’d bought
the Starbucks Coffee at first.
But as I went on sorting the other stuff out, I remembered!
It was on offer at very nearly half the normal price. So I thought I get some in, in case the carers or nurses like them.
I may have made a mistake. If they do like them, I can’t afford to get any more at the full price, like.

But I can’t really see anyone liking them; cold coffee?
Got the bottles of wine for Christmas pressies. Two items short, but no substitutes, so that was good. Bread and Vegan pie missing.

Arrived: it was during this visit that I had a mind-blank, I think. I know I was talking almost non-stop… or was I? Oh, I don’t know.
Many hours later, I sort of came around a lot and found this was the only other photo on the SD card.
Nothing concrete in the memory box, but maybe I was seeing this and thought about how active and fun-loving I was in those days. Or, maybe even proud of winning my first-ever angling cup fishing match award? Most likely, I was feeling guilty for fishing in the first place?
I had been working on CorelDraw and Excel doing a blog. I had no idea what time it was, and as I turned to look at the clock…
Came in. I reckon I was nattering away again. As Jodie was picking up the bags to leave, she said she could not get in the key safe. I went out to her, and we both tried again, but no luck. Must mention this to Deana or Julie.

I took some photos of the evening view.

Better check on the taps and stove. make sure I’ve not left anything that might be during my absence of awareness hours.

I tried catching up[ on the blogging.
Spent a few hours at it and realised things were not going well.

Which brought to mind the appointment at the Mental Health place regarding Doreen Dementia.
The address is confusing and long-winded; I’ll have a look at the Google map if I remember.
Hazelwood House, The Coppice, Highbury Hospital, Highbury Road, Bulwell, Nottingham NG6 6DR.
The bits of the letters and pamphlets I can read (and forget so easily). tell me:
Bring your Medications, Eyeglasses & hearing aids.
Wear a face mask. Use your own toilet before leaving home.
Bring only one carer/relative with you.
Bring your own drink if needed.
You must arrive for your appointment early.
Try not to be more than 5-minutes early.
Use the hand-sanitiser on arrival.
During your appointment, a hand sanitiser is to be used.
Leaving Your Appointment:
When finished, a member of staff will walk you through
showing you the way out.
I’ll have a look at the map now.

Not confident; I can’t find which reception I’ll need.
Knackered now. No desire for food or drink.

Get my head down, I think. Hope I’m up to doing Josie’s meal in the morning.

Changed my mind as I was getting the jammies on. I needed a meal, after all.

I made up a meal that looked okay. But it wasn’t; I was not concentrating, methinks. The veggie burger and pastie were only warm at best. The sausages were undercooked. Taste: 3/10!
Still, didn’t visit, so I had a good sleep for once.
