WD Indigo 00:15hrs: I woke up, in a lackadaisical, lethargic, incurious pococurante disposition. Possibly brought on my the dreams I’d been having? But actual facts of the dream are not recalled at all, but the mood of them, was I think, of a defeatist, negatively-fatalistic nature.

It took a while, and some pointless failed self-analysing before I gave up, and began to haul my extracurricular oversized, flabby torso from the £300 second-hand recliner. Once again, the need for a wee-wee encouraged this activity. I grabbed the four-pronged walking stick and hobbled to the wet room. The SGSS (Short-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) evacuation was soon over. Washed the hands and into the kitchen.

WD Indigo No sooner did I get there, I needed to make an imitation dash (quick-hobble), back to the use the Porcelain Throne. Just in time, and it was a messy affair, that needed a lot of cleansing and medicating afterwards. Too much bleeding for my mind. Got freshened up again, and back to the kitchen. On the way, the EQ warned 2Tue02ame of upcoming annoyances. Oh, dear!

I made a brew and imbibed the medications.

WD Indigo Then got the computer on to to the updating of the Monday Inchcock Today diary. But and however, things were not right with the much-hated Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet!

Vir 0.50.0

It was a struggle, at it kept failing to save, sticking and coming back on. More annoying than usual, because the Sensory nerves were the best they have been for months, and I knew this would not last long, and they’d, soon be back playing to up. Grumph!

2Tue01I left the computer and went to make another brew of tea. (Yes, the thirst for tea was back again!)

I took a photo of the view while the kettle boiled, and I boiled inside at Mr Fries and his comically inept internet service! That is guaranteed to let one down! Spit!

WD Indigo I tried once more with the computer.

vir 120.0.60

WD Indigo But not for long, about an hour into updating:

Vir 0.50.0

WD Indigo After turning off and resetting, I had to give up again. Thank you again, Mr ‘Incompetent‘ Fries. You really ought to give up on Media and open a hot dog stall in Central Park. Mind, you’d probably burn it down or something! What was it you lied to me about in your last letter, not the one before that one, where you told me the price of the shitty service is going up again! The one sent ten-days ago. Let’s have a look at it, shall we? We might as well, cause there is little chance of doing anything else, like going on the pathetic Liberty-Global powered computer to work! I’ll find it… Ah, here it is. It’s in very small print, isn’t it? Must save your penny-pinching, customer-hating company in ink, I should think. And customers who are silver-surfers (Or in Liberty-Global terminology, Silver Hobblers) will not be able to read you misleading, untrue statements?

2Tue06

WDP11LWD Indigo WordPress readers, can you believe this! “We know how important it is for your home to get brilliantly fast and reliable Virgin Media Services…” Hahaha! Utter-Tosh!

What happened to the free internet for all the politicians were speaking about? Oh, yes, that was Jeremy Corbyn who promised free broadband for every home under a Labour government. Well, they’ve shot that haven’t they!

vir 120.0.60

At long last, I could get some updating done. Heck of a job, but it was finally completed and sent off. I made a start on this post, but the internet kept going very slow at times, and I had to keep waiting for it to come back on properly.

I sent a few piccies off to Pinterest, then went on the TFZer Facebooking.

2019 Feb 26aDeana called to do alarm checks. I took the opportunity to mention the WC and the leaking hot water tap to her. She kindly said she would inform the maintenance shower for me, and get back to let me know when, if, they are to arrive to sort out the situation, which she says 2Tue07is just a new washer needed.

WD Indigo The Iceland order arrived and I set about putting the things away. Noticing that there were two substitutes on the order. In place of the two 400g Milk Roll loaves of bread, there were two 800g White Sliced Loaves. I cursed a little inwardly, then aloud! There is no way they will fit in the freezer!

2Tue08WD Indigo Also, the two 300g packs of Maple Barbeque pork loins, were one, with a substituted 500g plain pork loins. Crap substitutes, rotten Iceland, and I was getting het-up again! Gits! So, I got the checking done and stuff put away, all bar the unwanted, totally different, twice a large, tasteless, unrequested, unwelcome, undesired, unprompted, bland, bread they had substituted!

2Tue09

WD Indigo Iceland is on a par with Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet, Rubbish!

I took the waste bags to the chute – and recycling bag down to caretaker’s bin.

2Tue10Back up to the apartment, and got the food goods stored away. Taking a picture of the rather bleak weather on view outside.

Got the coat on again, and I took the substituted pathetic flavourless bread down to the Social kitchen. They can use it for toast maybe for the  Social kitchen. One lady there, she was on her mobile. She took the 2Tue11dated 22nd Dec, bread from the trolley and said thank you. Not many folks around, I’d hoped to ask Deana about Mo and how she was, but I forgot to, and there was no one else to inquire of. The office was closed.

I snapped this photographicalisation of the lit Christmas Tree on the way back through the link corridor to Woodthorpe Court.

That little hobble home was one of despondency and low spirits. And I don’t know why.

WD Indigo I got up in the lift to the flat, and had a wee-wee, and found Little Inchies fungal lesion bleeding again. It’s always painful cleaning things up and applying the cream, whether it be the Corticosteroid, Clobetasone, or Daktacort EX cream, they all make one’s eyes water, in this department. Hehe! No idea why I laughed then?

2Tue03I got the new picker-upper from the three-wheeled trolley guide bar. It is not safe there now, with the plastic gripper having split. Tsk! I’d only had the thing for a few hours before it cracked! Botherations!

As I went into the front room to go to the 2Tue04computer, I put the picker-upperer on the airer, and gave it a try with light stuff, then had a go at picking up the tub with the Chinese salted sweet nut brittle sweets in it, that I had knocked over earlier, and fell beneath the airer. You can see how large it was in the photo, the sweet wrappers are red. It grabbed and 2Tue12lifted it alright!

Heated oven ready to have pork steaks (One day life on it! – Shit Iceland), and flavoured beans (marinated with Hoisin sauce for, later on, I hope) for the nosh.

2Tue03I did some updating on this post for a few hours. I checked the yesterday receipts, before dishing them.

WD Indigo This may be hard to grasp, but yesterday, paying at the self-serve checkout at Asda (Walmart), I think I may have somehow or other, managed to overcharged myself! Sad innit?

I went to check on the unwanted pork chops in the oven. Turned it down a smidge, and went to take some jars down for Warden Julie. Who I found, no longer needs any jars. Ah, well!

Back at the flat, the Warfarin Level and doses had been delivered from the Anticoagulation Haemostasis Deep Vein Arterial Thrombosis Clinic. A mouthful that name, for some reason I like it? The new result, 4.8, far to high, which may go to explain the funny clopidogrel legs lately, as well as how cold I’ve and am feeling with the very thin blood.

2UseI got the meal sorted (blimey the stack of washing up top do!)

I’d made far too much, but what I did eat was okay. Although, the flavouring was also too strong. Flavour Rating; 6/10.

I tackled the washing up, which took a long time, with the grease from the not very lean lamb chops that I didn’t order.

I got settled in the recliner and pondered on the day. Whoopsidangleplops mostly down to Liberty-Global’s Mr Fries and Iceland.

Put the TV on, and fell asleep within minutes!

Inchcock Today – Monday 16th December 2019: Precious, beautiful, Plebotomy nurse Christina called to take my blood today.

01Dec 16

01:05hrs: I woke up, with no signs of any Dizzy Dennis or Shaking Shaun! Just Great! Then I fell asleep again.

01:55hrs: Stirred again, and was soon in need of a wee-wee. Which was a tad disappointing, cause I was hoping to nod-off once more! Tsk!

WD 128.0.128 The hassle of getting out of the £300 second-hand, c1968, disintegrating, none-working recliner, and the hobble-in-haste to the wet room, hardly seems worth the effort when I got there. The release was of the INHBBT (I-Needn’t-Have-Bothered-Barely-Trickling) mode. Other than finding that Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding, so I went through the painful process of cleaning, drying, and the nasty bit, of applying the Corticosteroid cream. (I believe I just may have silently uttered something along the lines of, ‘Ouch’ at the time)

WD 128.0.128a But self-righteously, smugly pleased with my bravery, I turned to go to the sink, stubbing my toe against the metal leg of the seat-raiser. (This time I did utter a naughty word!) I washed and made my way to the kitchen and got the kettle on. Moved the handwashing that I cannot recall doing last night (Dizzy Dennis & Shaking Shaun were activating then). Moved them onto the airer, took the medications, and brewed up.

It dawned on me that I had just had a sleep of over six hours! A rarity that! If it had not been for Accifauxpas causing wee-wee being needed, I might have still been sleeping.

The first thing that needed doing was updating yesterday’s post. Which didn’t take long, cause I~ couldn’t remember much at all of the late evening’s activities; if there was any? The photo of the meal on the SD card was news to me. When I mentioned this memory loses to the Physio nurse, she just said, “Yes, it happens to all of us!” Later, I divulged them to the  Doctor. “Yes, it happens when you get older, anything else?” One gets the feeling that one is a nuisance nowadays! I see and hear confirmation of it often.

WD 128.0.128 I went on the WordPress reader first. Then I got the updating finished and posted off. Next, the difficult job of setting up a few templates. This did take a long time because I found I’m made a few cock-ups yesterday in making the graphics in advance, I’d missed a couple of days worth off! So, I had to make them up on CorelDraw. This got me confused as to which they were for, and I virtually had to go through every one to find out. I was rather muddle-headed by the time I’d finished.

1Mon 01Off to the Porcelain Throne. Taking care to avoid any toe-stubbings! The session was quick but messy, and I have to tell you what came into my mind as I eventually flushed the cistern: It’s true, the noise it made did remind me of a DVD film I watched (well, fell asleep to) last week, ‘The School for Scoundrels.’ The noise the car made when first started up, sound almost the same as the flushing of the toilet did this morning! I must remember to mention this to ILC, Obersturmführer, and Catwalk Model Warden Deans later, I’ll say, if I remember to, about the leaking hot water tap as well.

I made a start on this blog, up to here, and went on thee TFZer Facebooking. Another long, fun-time spent.

1Mon02Ablution duties next. I think the pins (legs) looked no worse than yesterday morning. But give ’em time! The dropsies were a little more frequent today. Toothpaste, radio, shaving cream, razors (4), showerhead, carbolic soap (2), flannel (2), towel (3), Sock-glide, and alarm bracelet.

1Mon 01WDP 001 LaWD 128.0.128 When it came to downloading the photo of the legs, I found a bonus picture. It was a taken-by-mistake shot, with the Neurotransmitters playing up a bit. I had to cut off a bit of a certain appendage that had been captured on it and reshaped the photo to a similar size/shape as the others. (Thank heavens I noticed, else the whole internet would have been in hysterics!) I managed to avoid chronic humiliation and being shamefaced here! Phew!

It looks like being another frustrating day indoors again. I dare not even go to report the leaking tap and gurgling water closet to the wardens, for fear of missing the Phlebotomy Nurse, if she is calling or not, I don’t know. I’m getting a lit low now, depressionalistically speaking.

I rang the Phlebotomy Service to find out. My queue position was One – canned music, classical, I was enjoying it. Lady came on, but it was a little dodgy hearing her. I think Christina is calling some time today was the answer. Which is good; if she arrives early enough, the nI can get out for a walk. Taking my shower, the radio (before I dropped it) warned us to expect it to be freezing, well-below zero tonight! Brrr!

10:30hrs: Christina arrived, and soon had my blood taken, she was in a rush, but I managed to give her a nibble to take with her.

I got ready to go out, but the vacillating was rampant. Should I go to the City or Arnold? After more wavering, I opted to go to Arnold. Then I can have a look for a new picker-upperer from the Seacroft Mobility shop. Not that they are very helpful, but needs must. I called in last year, and the woman was all smiles and pleasantries; until she realised I only wanted a picker-upperer and not a £400 mobility Scooter. Then I got the toss of her head towards a wall, and “Over there!”

I got ready and set out on my mission to find another picker-upper. I took some ashed jars with lids to leave for Warden Julie on the way out.

1Mon03WD 128.0.128 The two lifts were one again. Down and along the link-corridor into Winwood Court and left the jars on a table outside the ILC’s Holding Cell office, as no one was about.

I met with a few fellow Winwoodonians at the bus stop and listened to them chinwagging away. The bus arrived. I got ensconced on the corner side-saddle seat, and got the crossword book out and went through the many unfinished back puzzles. I even got a few more answers done, and was still at it when I looked up and had to move sharpishly not to miss my stop!

1Mon05I went to the mobility shop first, and there was a different lady serving today. A pleasant and helpful gal. She came to me and asked if she could help, I told her what I was after, and she led me to the two types of pickers they had. One of them was the same as the crap I bought last time. I pointed out the failings in them and opted for the other brand. She pointed out that it is collapsable (something else to break, I thought), and it had a retainer clip on it, so it can be attached to my walker. £15 paid, thanked her, stuck the picker-upperer on the trolley, and off I went.

WD 128.0.128 To the Asda store, and what a spending spree I had, happy as a robin with a maggot, I wandered around getting walked into, trod on, shoulder-charged and Tut-tutted at, as I shopped to my little-metal-hearted content. The getting bashed about, insulted, and trolleys attacked, somehow didn’t bother me? I went to the bread section; it was mayhem there. They had no Milk Rolls, well they had two damaged loaves that were stale on offer, split open on the shelf. So, I went to see if they had any of the ready-sliced wholemeal cobs, they did, I got a packet, but had to pay £1.30 for it, no pound shops in Arnold. Hehe!

WD 128.0.128 I found a semi-sheltered corner to keep out of the way in and just stood watching people shopping and shop-lifting, I think. What I saw, reminded me of the old jumble sales we had at the Bridgeway Hall. Folks almost fighting to get to the bargains. Bad language flowed. Kids screamed as their parents woke the child up, as they put a bottle of rum underneath the baby in the pram. Many people were on their mobiles, shouting to their partners how much so-and-so was, and how many they wanted them to buy! A couple drove their cart into a large stack, display of mince pies, knocking them all over the floor. Eventually, I tired of what I was seeing and moved on. As I did so, I spotted some sourdough baguettes on sale and put a couple in the basket.

I cautiously moved to the fresh food departments. I bought some Red Leicester shredded cheese, vine tomatoes, Cox’s apples, a yoghourt, and pack of miniature four-real orange juice bottles. Got to the self-serve counter, and put through the goods and paid up.

1Mon04Then out and off to the Fulton Food store to see if any bargains were on offer. I met with, the names escape me, a sociable couple from the flats, and checked on the bis times with them, to get back home later. Then into the shop, and got some bargains, too many really, how I managed to get everything in the shopper bag and carrier was nothing short of brilliant! Unfortunately, the weight of the carrier bag hanging onto the handle of the trolley meant somewhat risky walking from then on. Keeping my balance was a work of art! I’d bought two large jars of Baxters Baby Beetroots for £1 each. At Asda (Walmart) the small one, was £1.20! At only £1 each, I got black bin liners, Beef pasties, and a large Pork Farms pork pie. Cocktail sausages 60p, three orange biscuits for £1. At the checkout, I saw they were selling Galaxy darker chocolate bars with hazelnuts at 3 for £1. I tried them later, and wish I had bought more of them now, Hehe!)

1Mon08Then I hobbled carefully along to the Butchers shop. They had some delicious looking cooked roast pork. I got three slices, shuddered at the price, and decided that today’s nosh would be wholemeal cobs, lavishly buttered, and loaded with roast pork and tomatoes, with beetroot and a Cox’s apple on the side! Not like me to be so positive? We’ll see.

I made my way along the road, and over and up the side of Asda (Walmart) through the car park to the bus stop.

Where a challenge presented itself. There were dozens of squawking ever moving seagulls flying over the area, and I wanted to snap them with my camera. I was determined to try to impress Cindy and Tim Price, my favourite photographers, with my efforts.

WD 128.0.128 What a farce! I just don’t know how I managed, but I missed the camera-shy birds in every shot, bar two. The bottom ones, then I only got one bird terribly pictured in each one. Every time I looked up, the sky was littered with them, lifted the camera up, and hey-presto, they were gone! I think it would be better for my mental health if I stopped trying to take photographicalisations on any wildlife in future. I just can’t get them anywhere near right nowadays. Humph!

1Mon09Gave up, annoyed at myself and the blooming seagulls! Haha! And took this shot of a more camera-friendly pigeon near the bus shelter. That’s, more my barrow! Hehe!

WD 128.0.128 Caught the bus, and the two neighbours got on. I entertained them with my tales of woe, which made them laugh a little. Shirley (I think that’s her name) told me that Mo was in hospital very poorly. I will call at the ILC Wardens room and ask if any details of where she is are available and visiting allowed when I get back. This lowered my spirits and my flow of wit came to an end.

1Mon09aBack at the flats, I got off the bus last, and a quick hello with those waiting to get on the bus, and to the ILC’s office. But no one in. So I plodded back through the link-corridor to Woodthorpe Court, and got the lift up to the twelfth floor, out, into the flat and dived into the wet room for a sudden and urgent wee-wee.

WDP 02lbWD 128.0.128 A CMOUSTSTBOWV (Catching-Me-Out-Unwilling-Slow-To-Start-Then-Blasting-Out-With-Venom) one! Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding, so I cleaned things up and very gently applied a schmear of the Corticosteroid cream. Argh!

Changed PPs, washed and got into the nightwear.

1Mon10I got the food put away, and set about making the cols meal. I got the wholemeal rolls well Anchor-buttered, the folded slices of the delicious, out-of-this-world tasting roast pork on each one. Sliced the tomatoes, and added them with a little salt, and put them on the plate.

1Mon12I heard some very-odd noises from outside, that were not unlike concrete crumbling and falling. Naturally, I had a look outside, but could nothing untoward? I took this snap of the view while the window was open. Then, back to the nosh prepping. With a certain amount of enthusiasm.

1Mon11I sliced some of the Baxters beetroots onto the plate, and used the apple de corer on the Cox’s apple, and got it presented on the tray with a mini-bottle of fresh orange juice, and the last pot of Ski lemon mousse.

It might have been due to the day not having too many cock-ups or the actual taste, but this meal went down a right treat! The flavour rating given was a massive 9.24/10! The roast pork, although needing a mortgage to buy, was so palatable, tasty and ambrosial!

I got the pots washed, and thought about doing the handwashing, but didn’t. Guilt Mode Engaged! I got settled into the death-trap recliner.

While wondering what to watch on the TV. My state of Hypnagogia did not last long for long.

Blissful sleep was swiftly drifted into! ♥

01Dec 15

23:00hrs, I woke, a few minutes later, this rare for me, soporificness and reluctance to come to life, sent me back into the land of Nod! For hours, I was waking and nodding off again, no willpower or interest in rejoining consciousness or reality. And I could not figure out why. At last, around 01:30hrs, I encouraged my body and mind into enough weak effort and willpower to get out of the £300, second-hand, c1968 recliner. This was due to the need for the Porcelain Throne, more than any actual fixity of purpose or desire.

The first really fantastic thing, even more surprising, than finding myself not wanting to rise & shine, was the almost totally pain-free knees when I did get up on my feet and got my balance! Saccades Sandra was making the hobble to the wet room a bit dodgy, but I got there without banging into or knocking anything over.

WD 0.0.255 The evacuation did its own thing and started almost catching me out as I got seated. The removal was quick, not too painful, but so messy and humongously massive again! The cleaning up of porcelain, plastic and myself took ages! I’m glad I bought the Dettol lavender now. Hehe! I still applied some Phorpain gel to Arthur Itis’s knees. I think perhaps the extra applicationalisationing done this past week, might be helping? I’ll keep on coating the knees with other applications.

Took the medications and made a brew, then got on the computer. I had to make a template for this post. Then made a start on it up to here, and began to update the Saturday tale of woes. Which was more trying than usual, with Saccade Sandra’s dysmetria being a bit worse this morning, the new keyboard keys locations causing many cock-ups and much correcting neede. Also, odd madness from the failing finger neurotransmitter.

5Fri10

Hours later, I got the updating finished. Around 0500hrs, I heard some noises, but not sure what it was. Maybe someone using the waste chute too early? Possible someone had too much Christmas spirit and fell out of bed? Hahaha!

The dreaded ‘Hum’ had been quieter, I thought earlier. But it was like some had just turned it on again! Grumph!

I put some bits on Pinterest. Then I visited the WordPress Reader. Finally, I got around to doing some TFZer Facebooking (Always a pleasure for me).

7Sun05I went to put the kettle on. And another call to the Porcelain Throne was received from the innards. Off to the wet room, with a certain trepidation. The evacuation was fine. But the pins (legs) were looking in a fine mess!

The Peripheral neuropathy affected the right side of the body, resulting in a thinner right limb than the left one! The spider,  varicose and popliteal veins were sticking out a little prouder. The Clopidogrel, blood-papsules, weals, scars, lumps, bulges, spots, bruises, welts, contusions, blemishes and dapples were prominent too!

I’d have thought the Anticoagulation Haemostasis and Deep Vein Thrombosis clinic would have kept a keener eye on the Warfarin blood-test taking, or, I should say lack of them! Hey-ho, that’s how it is. Still, it’ll get betterer now Boris has a good majority, I’m sure. Of course, I’ll be long dead waiting for the NHS to get adequately financed.

Grumble-Sodit-Blast! – Crabs and Grobblecraps!

Before I make a start on Josie’s meal, I’d better get the ablutions done. I was about half-way through, when the door chimes rang out, so wrapped a towel around myself (I must get a bigger towel!), and hid behind the door as I opened it. It was Josie, telling make that she was going out to a restaurant with her Sister for lunch today. I wished her happy eating, and I closed the door, hoping that nothing had been on view, that shouldn’t have been. Cause the right hand had a neurotransmitter-failure problem while I was listening to Josie. The towel slipped a bit. The gal had a little smirk on her face as she went back to her flat. Oh, dear! Still, it was last minute timing from Josie, I was going to finish the ablutions and set to doing her dinner, so no need to worry about that now.

Back to the wet room, and completed my cleansing activities. I have to say, it was a good session, not too many dropsies: toothbrush, razor (3), carbolic soap, Dettol bottle, Germalolid cream tube and the towel (3). No sock-glide problems, cause now I shan’t be delivering a meal, I don’t need to put any socks on.

7Sun06Rubbed some gel; on the knees and had a close look at them. I reckon they are losing their fluid retention already and looked much better than earlier unless it was my imagination?

I got dressed in just the PPs, dressing gown and slippers, and off to the kitchen to turn off the 7Sun07oven first, as I will not need to use it now. This reminded me about the Fridge Tuna I’d bought for Josie to go with her smoked haddock, that is nop longer needed. Is the date on it going to allow me to keep it until next week? I checked on it.

7Sun13I was flabbergasted! The use-by-date on the pot of Indian ‘No need to strain’ Tuna, was May 2020! Can that be right? Was Saccades Sandra playing tricks on me? I took a photo of the tub bottom so I could check for sure. I had to take several pictures before I got one that was not too blurred to read. I’ll test it next week before serving it up for Josie to eat!

The view outside looked beautiful. I decided to take a photo of the cold but bright sunshine. As I opened the window, I nearly got blown backwards with the incoming wind. So much so, that I accidentally took a snap on the camera, the left photo. This came out clearer than any!

7Sun10a

At least it wasn’t raining. Hehe!

I made a brew and got back on the computer. Where I stayed for hours, mostly doing correctional work.

Dizzy Dennis dawned disastrously on me and stayed for the rest of the day. Which has caused/left some memory-blanks?

7Sun14The rice nosh picture found on the SD card, I can’t fully remember cooking or eating. But the taste was still in my mouth when I woke on Monday morning; as if I’d only just eaten it?

I think I watched TV, cause it was still on when I woke.

WDPh 01WD 0.128.100 23:55hrs: I stirred into mock-life. But I fear I was still in a depression, irked and soured so much by my innocent missing of the Phlebotomy Nurse yesterday. I stewed over it further; No updated Anti-Coagulation Deep Vein Thrombosis Record Sent to me. No notification of doses or INR level from the Doctor’s surgery. No indication of the day of this blood test! I know I shall soon be getting complaints through, though; Why have you not attended the surgery for your INR blood Test? Why did you not ensure you were in for… Oh, forget it, I’m making myself ill worrying about it.

The stomach’s calling me to the Porcelain Throne helped me to partially break some of my moroseness, I think. Out of the £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, c1968, sometimes working, horrendously-gungy-beige coloured,  uncomfortable, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty recliner. I grabbed the four-pronged walking stick, caught my balance, and trotted, well, hobbled to the wetroom.

I had to hasten to get sat down in time. While the evacuation proceeded and at a snail’s pace, I pondered over how quickly I had moved from computer to the throne. I was impressed. Arthur Itis was almost non-existent? But, I still rubbed some Phorpain gel in when I’d completed my toileting. The evacuation, although mammoth and very slow, was bloodless, not messy and painless, unbelievable! A Smug-Mode was almost adopted, but my EQ suggested I didn’t go into that yet? So I stayed in my sorry, Irked and Pissed-off inclinationalistic mode. Off to the kitchen.

WDP 4LWD 0.128.100 I got the kettle on and moved the handwashing to the airers. Took my medications, with a guzzle of the Peptac, and made a brew. I soon discovered I had a selection of mouth and lip ulcers, that had seemingly come out overnight, the moment I first drank a sip of tea. Argh! Hehe!

WDPH01L2WD 0.128.100 I got the computer going, and started to get the updating done on yesterday’s blog. Oh, dearie me!

Virg 0.128.128 teal

So much for Thursday’s service going down to enable then to improve the internet for us. Swine! Still, to my pleasant finding, it wasn’t for long, and came back on its own volition! That’s an improvement, let’s hope it continues, Mr Fries. (You’ll forgive my lack of confidence?)

The updating was even perverse than usual. The new keyboard layout had joined forces with myasthenia gravis and neurotransmitter failure, to cause me to take longer than ever in the task. But, with blind-hope, p[lodding away and persistence, I did get it done a few hours later. Posted it off, and then needed to go for another Porcelain Throne visit.

WDP 4GLWD 0.128.100 And what a difference to the first visit! Messy, smelly, almost red in colour, a lot of bleeding and the texture was the opposite of one a few hours earlier, it reminded me of a torpedo-shaped bale of red hay? Sorry, but that’s how it was! I considered taking a photo and sending it to the Tate Gallery, they are showing no signs of interest in buying the pictures of my warping legs. Hahaha! I washed up and disinfected the contact points.

6Sat01Back to the kitchen this time. I was getting withdrawal symptoms with only having the one mug of tea. I planned to sip it carefully around the lip ulcers. I got the tea and sipping the brew nice, and slowly I avoided catching most of the sores and enjoyed those first few mouthfuls.

I took a couple of shots through the unwanted and unlike, light & view-blocking, hard to use thick-framed new kitchen windows.

6Sat02aThe Moon, high in the sky tonight

6Sat03Nottinghamians dwellings. Some their own, squatters, a few paid for.

6Sat03aI made a start on this post. And after a few hours, I had to go for Poprcelaoin Throne visit number three! I was well-pleased when it turned out similar to the first one, but with bleeding, not as bad as the last one, mind. The pins (legs) were filling with fluid again. However, Arthur Itis was still being kind to me, which was excellent!

Another hour or so, and it was time for the ablutionalisationing session. Just in case the Blood Angel nurse visits this morning. I’m not expecting her to on a Saturday, but you never know.

I can report that the ablutions went very well. A few dropsies, as is to be expected.

6Sat04Smelling distinctly Dettolish afterwards, I made a mug of tea, and noticed that the moon was still out! And this was around 07:30hrs. Red Sky in the Morning, Shepherds Warning they say. I’ll have a look at the weather forecast. As long as that blustery blowing me about wind stays off, and the Nurse comes early enough if she is calling at all, of course, I may venture into Sherwood.

Mmm, maybe not then, if this forecast is right.

6Sat05

Well, I’ll get on with the Coreldarawing again and try to get some graphic tops done. Everything seems to be working towards stopping me these last few days. I spent many hours getting a few graphics done in advance at last.

When using CorelDraw with this new keyboard, bearing in mind, I was catching many a wrong key with the nerve-end lack of sensitivity problem. I’m not sure which was causing some of the advanced option choices that would appear on the screen, I didn’t know what they were about either! But F12 was getting hit often, and bringing up this:

6Sat12

Beats me! I kept hitting the F12, and still am doing, cause the old keypad had the backspace button in that same position. I’ve had many windows appear, and am totally lost as they all seem too technical for me. Poor old Zeyde!

WD 0.128.100 During the hours-long graphicing, I had a few bad moments. I lost the new SD card when I came to using the camera, I knew full-well where I’d left it, but it wasn’t there. Confused and annoyed with myself, I carried out a search. Down on the knees to look under the computer desk – nope! Went through all the drawers, then my pockets, the kitchen, the bathroom, the hallway and back to the computer. I was sure I had laid the card on the writing pad, I could even remember telling myself not to forget where it was when I put the camera on charge! Gave up, off for a weak dribbling wee-wee, got the kettle on and back to the CorelDrawing.

6Sat13And there it was! On top of not the pad, but the Tunstall Lifeline Emergency box! How I managed to miss seeing it, goes to prove that either Saccade Sandra was getting worse than ever, or, as is more likely, and mental capacity, brain and mind have gone into Defcon One mode, in readiness and preparation for utter failure! Ah, well, I’ve got the funeral all paid for, at cardboard coffin rates!

WD 0.128.100 No nurse called to take the blood. So, it might be on Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday, or another day when I’m not in.

6Sat10I got the nosh prepared. Pork pie meat, pate cobs, garden peas, beetroot and chips. It was late, well past my usual head-down time, and I was so tired and brain-drained, by the time I got to eat it, I couldn’t manage it all. But what I did eat was fair-enough taste-wise. A flavour rating of 6.8/10 given. But I was so weary, I felt sure that I’d soon nod-off. I put the plate to soak in the washing-up bowl. And went to the wet room, for a wash while
I still could.

6Sat14WD 0.128.100 I went to take off my second-hand, £2 charity-shop-bought wristwatch, with the £10 new strap and £15 new battery (Humph!) and it was not on the wrist. Mmm, I thought, wonder where that is? Got a rinse and teggies done, then went on a hunt to find the watch. I found it in plain view on the computer desk. Success! But not for long.

WDP 08L02RWD 0.128.100 As I picked it up, the Peripheral neuralgia had an involuntary Neuropathic Schuhplattler drop-something and flail-about dance, and the watch flew out of my hand and fell down the back of the furniture! Crabs and Grobblecraps! I waited until my ailing right-sides floundering about had finished. Then got down on all fours to retrieve the cheap, but beloved, timepiece. I felt a burst of joy as I managed to reach and get it, hit my head on the cabinet on the way out from underneath, and spent a good while manipulating my grossly overweight, short, plump, heavily bellied body onto my feet. The chronometer was still working. Phew!

I was really getting wee’d off and felt shattered now.

I got settled in the antique, c1968, rickety, unbalance, none-working, wobbly recliner. Headphones on, and tuned to watch TV… Zzz!

Inchcock Today – 11-12th December 2019:

1 Dec 11

Wed-Thurs 11th-12th December 2019

Welsh: Dydd Mercher 11eg – Dydd Iau 12fed Rhagfyr 2019

1500hrs: Wednesday 11th December: I was feeling pretty rough, bilious, and Dizzy Dennis was visiting me regularly. I got sat down, too weary and shaking a bit, to have anything to eat.

I sprang awake around 17:00hrs, in need of a wee-wee. I utilised the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket), an SGSS (Short-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) variety. And realised that apart from the Dennis and the wobbles, I was feeling a good bit better than I did when I got my head down. So I thought I’d get on the computer, to do a bit on this blog. So when it goes down tomorrow, I’ll not be so far behind when and if it comes back on again after the maintenance work.

I poddled into the kitchen, with Arthur Itis, Anne Gyna being kind to me. The stubbed toe and Duodenal; Donald were a little bothering, but not bad by any means! I hobbled back almost quickly, to fetch the camera when I saw the evening skyline, to take these snaps.

4Thu03

WDPh 01WD 0.0.128A I got back with a mug of tea, to the computer, and made a start, but the keyboard would not let me use the arrow keys. Grumph! I changed the batteries and cleaned it up, and tried again, but no go, now it was sticking every few words I typed! I decided, bravely I thought, to try and get the new keyboard and mouse set up. The bit of 4Thu04paperwork that came with it was ridiculously small! I put the glasses next to them in this photograph, so you can see the size, or lack of size, of the font, used! The new keyboard letters show you how minuscule the printed matter really was! Impossible to read at all! But the advice given me from my cyber-mate in New Mexico was consulted. The thing to plug into the computer was a bit much for the old fart, and I just did not know which hole it should go into!

WDP 02lbWD 0.0.128A So, I gave up. I’ll ask someone tomorrow for guidance. I got the black bags and was taking them out, and knocked on neighbour Malcolm’s door, to ask if he knew about the computer needs. He said he’d wait, while I took the bags, and he did, bless him. But, on my way back and getting into the flat, Shaking Shaun and Dizzy Dennis both had a go at me! Poor Malc was taken aback by it! Mind you, so was I!

WDP 4GLWD 0.0.128A The chap spent ages trying to get it sorted, without any success. He checked the batteries in both machines, they were alright. He son found the right slot for the card to go in on the computer for me. Then, the Norton came up with a message, telling me it needed to restart the computer, to enable it to solve a problem? I made the box small, down to the tray to sort out the current problems first. Malcolm tries to read the print on the leaflet, but there was no chance. Everything should be working, and when he turned the keyboard on, the green light kept going off. Not that it was working with the light lit or off! He advised me to ring Amazon in the morning. But the green light kept disappearing each time after a few seconds. Oh, dearie me! I thanked him for his time and effort, and off he trotted.

WDP 001 LaWD 0.0.128A I opened the Norton box, and clicked on Yes! The computer closed and opened, and I was presented with having to sign in again! Of course, I put in the wrong password, so had to press the Having Difficulty button, and go through a right palava! They sent an email with how to reset the password. The neurotransmitters sensory nerve-damaged fingertips were making mistakes all the time… I was getting all het-up, and Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shaun kept putting in an appearance. Gawd knows how, but I got it finished and then realised, I’d just used the keyboard!

So, I got on with this blog, before trying a restart again, praying that the keyboard would start again this time… Fingers crossed, here goes… Phew! All working!

This keyboard has things in different places, it’ll take a while to get used to. Too late for me to do any graphicalisationing now!

As I stood up to leave the computer, Dizzy Dennis had another little go at me.

Then I got settled in the second hand, c1968, recliner and began to watch a film on the TV. At the first commercial break, I nodded off.

Nice!

5Fri01

01Dec 12

WDP10L02R WD 200.0.0 I woke-up, remembered I’d not emailed Jane & Pete about not coming, it was election day, the stomach was grinding away. Dizzy Dennis was affecting me even as I was laid-out on the £300 second-hand, rusty, rickety, sometimes working, ramshackle recliner. I was sweating with almost slimy skin. Coughing and Tight Chest Charlie was back again.

As soon as I rearranged parts of the gruesomely flabby bouncing stomached body to get up, Arthur Itis kicked into a pain-giving mode, and I needed a wee-wee! The balance wasn’t outstanding as I made my way to the wet room. Considering that I had nothing to eat or drink last night, the wee-wee surprised me with being of the LHLBS (Long-Hosepipe-Like-Blasting-Splashback) mode.

4Thu09

Off to the kitchen, and got the kettle on. Got the handwashing, done, wrung and hung to dry. Took the medications, rubbed in some Phorpain Gel on the knees. I got the kettle boiling again, and almost retook the pills, Phew! That was close.

WDP 02LWD 200.0.0 Off to the Porcelain Throne. Another just-in-time visit! I mentioned earlier about my not feeling too good, and having no nosh last night, so where the megaton-torpedo I passed came from, I don’t know? Painful, messy, but no bleeding. I wonder if there is an institute or help-line on this subject? Hahaha! Got a wash and contact points antisepticised, and to the kitchen and replaced the tea that had gone cold replaced.

To the computer, to update and start today’s on the same draft or draught, I think? The new keyboard was catching me out a bit here and there. (A lot really, with the Autonomic nerves putting in their half-penn’orth, and Succades Sandra blinking and twitching all over the room) it was a hard slog to get done).

I went to make another brew and got sorting the bags of treats for Sister Jane & Pete in the kitchen. As I was brewing, I snapped the morning moon when it came out.

WDP 4RWD 200.0.0 WD 200.0.0A Back to the wet room for a wee-wee, and what a release it was. A BOBSLTTFY (Blasting-Out-But-Short-Lived-Then-Trickling-For-Yonks) type. By the time I had finished, I’d forgotten what I was going to do next! Humph! Then, it had to happen, of course, I turned away from the bowl, and stubbed my toe on the metal raiser-legs, this caused a slight loss of balance. So,l I picked up the body-spray can, the Germoloid tube, the crossword book and dermatitis cream. The pen, I’ll have a look for again later on. Schlemiel!

WDP 13LI pressed on with the blogging. But, no time for any graphicalisationing yet, time to get the ablutionalisationing done.

WD 200.0.0 Well, well, well, and by gum, that was a record session. Unfortunately, for dropsies. I’m finding it hard to think of something that I didn’t drop! Cut shaving, banged my shoulder on the hand-rail, and hit my forehead on the doorframe. Ah, well! The legs still looked a little pot-marked.

I got the black bag made up and a recycling big box (keypad set carton) to go down with me. I dropped them off and Stewart came to give me a hand. Then I continued to the Polling station, which was in the Winwood Court big social room, but blocked off, and access was via the fire escape outside. So, out I went in the cold, and it was cold too! I was going to take a photo of the iced-up car windows, but I’d not taken the camera with me. Shlimazel.

5Fri004WD 200.0.0A I got out, shivered and coughed, then to the polling area fire-escape door entrance. And proceeded to trip-up over the raised step while manoeuvering the three-wheeler and my bulk into the place! Tsk! A lady election aficionado came to my assistance. We had a laugh, which did not go down too well with other pollster-voters behind me, so I buttoned the lip.

On the way back to the flat, I called in the ILC (Independent Living Coordinators) holding cell and interview room, office. Mini-natter, and out and on back to the apartment. The sneezing started again.

Got in and made a brew. Got the handwashing done, wrung and hung. Then got on CorelDraw to at last try to make some graphics. Minutes later, Sister Jane rang, they (Jane & Pete) were on their way. (And, she said, bringing back with them, what bit is left of the valuables and money that xyrophobia-suffering, lock-breaking, ‘Have-it-away-if-yer-not-looking’, drone user, Brother-in-Law Pete lifted from the flat while I was in the hospital.)

Jane & Pete arrived. Despite fears of my passing on germs to them, we had a super visit. Many laughs, reminiscences and three-way gossiping. I was a bit wonky in balance, but it didn’t phase anyone. (Looking back, I was a little ashamed that I didn’t make them a brew, Tsk!)

They had been in touch with Pete Chambers & Tammy in Hong Kong. On WhatsApp? For some reason, they do not use email or Facebook. Jane showed me some great photo’s they’d sent. I asked Pete if he could send them to me on email, which he did later. Here they are:

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

4Thu10Great photo’s, taken by their daughter Debbie. Got me feeling a touch sad at my not seeing them for real, but glad to see them doing well.

Pete fetched the partial-remainder of the stolen loot and valuables from his car. By Gawd, he’d been spending! Hehe!

He told me to keep them safe and insisted on his knowing where I was putting them. Making sure he knew how to gain access to them, for when I kick the bucket. I handed the treats carrier bags over to Pete. They were both heavy, the booze you see, without Wine, they get very morose. Hehehe

A few hours later, and they went off to visit another relative, in Mapperley. I got my coat on and joined them, intending to walk to the Doctor’s to book an appointment to tell Dr Vindla about the Saccades Sandra, biliousness and the increased Dizzy Dennis problems.

They let me check the flat unhindered, as I looked at taps, lights etc. to be on the safe side. (I may have OCD?)

4Thu12Then, half-way along Chestnut Walk in the rain, I was getting sodden wet through and chickened out of going on the hobble. I told Jane, we said our farewells and I got back inside, through the Winwood Court entrance, along the link passage, and into Woodthorpe Court. Up to the flat, and dried off! More stuff on the airers to dry!

I got the meal made and served up. I must cut down on the cheesy-potatoes, God they make the washing up a hard job! Haha!

4Thu11The Aldi smoked chicken slices were great. Tomatoes a little bland, but then again, they are out of season and Spanish so what should I have expected. The garden peas with demerara sugar were superb tasting. The beetroots well cooked and not too hard. The Morrison Cox’s apples were bruised and soft though. The cheesy-spuds were okay, but I’d not mixed them enough. Overall, a flavour rating of 7/10.

5Fri003 WD 200.0.0 I was doing the washing up and had to nip to the toilet. The wee-wee was a long one of the LRWS (Long-Reluctant-Weak-Sprinkly) variety. And Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding. So, a clean-up and the application of the Germaloid Cream was needed. The legs looked a bit easier blotch-wise.

WD 200.0.0 When I got back to the kitchen, I found that I had left the hot water tap running again! Whatta-Plonker! Finished the pot-washing, moved the handwashing to the airer, passed-wind, and got settled in the rickety recliner.

Where I spend hours, mind-musing, recalling memories of my youth, fretting over the Saccades Sandra problem, coughing, regretting, bemoaning, sneezing, stewing over failures, regretting decisions and routes taken, and at some time, I must have nodded off!

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 11th December 2019: Poorly, Plutonian and pitiful day! Hey-ho!

22:00hrs: Woke up early, but then again I fell asleep early, too. The Hum, the droning grinding, piss-offing, tormenting wind-like howling sound was the loudest as I can ever remember it being. At one stage it sounded like an old tube radio that had been left on full volume, and the station had gone off the air! Argh! I later found a map of ‘The Hum’ reported locations. The UK seems to be getting the worst of it… nothing new there! They say only 6% of the population can hear it. Lucky sods those who can’t!

3Wed001

I rose with ease, got the stick and went for a wee-wee. Which turned out to be a rare PWWDIB (Pathetic-Weak-Why-Did-I-Bother) mode. However, the EQ cautioned me to fetch the GPEWWB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Wee-wee-Bucket) into the front room near the computer. Because things felt a little out-of-order in the urination-storage tank department this morning, and I felt sure it would be well-used later on.

I abandoned the comfort of the £300, second-hand, c1968, abhorrent, nauseous beige-coloured, rickety recliner, rose on my feet and grabbed the four-pronged walking stick. Yet again the balance was reasonable, no Shaking Shaun, no Dizzy Dennis, the right-side Peripheral neuralgia seemed calm, too. The finger-end failing sensory neurotransmitters were shaking the fingers, but I would never have known without looking at them. This later made my brewing-up a mug of tea interesting. Only Duodenal Donald was in a bad mood at this moment.

3Wed001b

I took a couple of pictures of the moon.

Into the kitchen, and got the kettle on. Took the medications, dropped the jammies pants and massaged some Phorpain Gel into Arthur Itis’s knees. Had a swig or two of the pathetically inept, picayune, Peptac ulcer medicine. Made the tea, then went back to the front room and to get the computer on.

I seemed to be doing well manoeuvrability wise. Amour-Propre-Mode-Adopted!

Got on with finalising the Tuesday Inchcock. Despite the finger-end insensitivity to touch, I got it finished in record time! That sounds impressive, doesn’t it? Truth is, I only had one last photograph to go on, so that saved the time, not me. Hehehe! I got it sent off to Facebook. Then went on the WordPress Reader. Some excellent posts and photographicalisations on today.

Next, I visited the TFZer Facebook page for a couple of hours.

I went on to make some graphics and tomorrow’s template. (4 hours!) That took a while. The nerveless fingers are playing up. Then I got some bags of treats ready in case Sister Jane and Brother-in-Law Pete call tomorrow. (That’s the same xyrophobia-suffering, philargyrist Brother-in-Law Pete), who broke the recliner and stole my valuables on the pretence of keeping them safe, while I was in the hospital stroke ward.

WD 0.30.0B I got the black bags made-up and taken to the waste chute at the other end of the floor’s lift lobby. Coming back out of the cubby-hole, Dizzy Dennis attacked! A bad one, I had to wait for ten minutes or so, before I dare walk back to the flat. I realised later that I was looking down the chute just before Dennis visited? I was feeling a lot better as I got through the flat door.

WD 0.30.0B Out of the blue, I had to rush to the wet room, I was bilious. I cleaned the porcelain up, but did not move, I sat down on the throne, I was still feeling a tad nauseous. No more bother, so I went and made a mug of tea, to try and get rid of the horrid taste in my throat from the spewing up. I also took some Peptac.

WDA 0.30.0 I got the ablutionalisationing done. A few dropsies, a couple of little tiny cuts shaving, but the worst, was a painful left foot big toe stubbing! The legs were a tad rougher again, no walking you see!

3Wed01ga

Dizzy Dennis decided for me, I would give up on the computerisationing and cleaning I’d planned. Another heavy bout of the dizzies, during which I clouted my shoulder against the door frame. I decided to stop everything and just sit down in the none-working Brother-in-Law knackered recliner. Writing this, reminded of the visit tomorrow. The radio said it could be -2° in the morning. And how I was feeling, I may ask them to leave calling until another time. Then, the sneezing started!?!? I soon fell asleep. Dreaming of a cat named Loki, playing in deep snow with me.

WD 0.30.0B I shot awake a couple of hours later, and somehow thought of the Global-Liberty Virgin Media shit-head boss, who is cutting the service on Friday for about 5-6 hours! This forced me to get up and back on the computer. I wanted to finish this early, so I could get some template graphics from the web before it goes down. As Virgin put it: We’re doing some important maintenance work in your area – We know how important it is for your brilliantly fast and reliable Virgin Media services… Hang on! I’ll double-check that; Yep, Brilliantly fast and reliable Virgin Media service? Hahahahahahaha! Wackerplonkers!

There was no need for meal-making tonight, I couldn’t face one. I did have a drink of Orange Juice and nibbled a few nuts, but now as I settle to do CorelDrawing work, the stomach is grinding now! I may have caught a bug. Tsk!

I changed my mind, I thought I’d close this and post it off now. Then if I do fall asleep and wake up with no internet service, it will be done first. Fingers crossed!

01Dec 09

23:55hrs: I opened my Saccades-ridden eyes, and life looked like an old flickering early movie in colour! I needed a wee-wee but left it until the eye-jumping had died down before attempting to move. By then, the Porcelain Throne was also in demand.

Extracting my bulky but blubbery body-mass from the £300, second-hand, c1968 rickety recliner and off to the wet room, was unusual in its ease and speed. I’d got into and onto the throne, before it dawned on me, just how I’d hobbled with such ease! The evacuation was as good as they come, there was little bleeding, hardly any pain, and the cistern coped with the torpedo-shaped and sized waste first flush! I washed the dandies, wiped the contact points with antiseptic disinfectant and off (rather nimbly for me too) to the kitchen.

I and got the camera on the legs, which were looking like someone else’s this morning Hehe! They had lost many of their bulges, lumps and blotches. The varicose, spider and saphenous veins could hardly be seen! I couple of new blood-papsules coming up, mind.

1Mon22

Flipping pale this Monday! One leg still retained a lot more fluid than the other. But the most astonishing things were that I found, was Arthur Itis, Dizzy Dennis, Shaking Shaun, Back-Pain-Brenda, Anne Gyna, Reflux Roger and Duodenal Donald, were all but painless at the moment! No wonder I was moving about so well! However, my EQ told me, I would soon become irritated and hassled about something? There are times this gift of a high EQ, can be so disturbing! Humph!

1Mon 01WD 51.51.153 WD 51.51.153a Then I opened the unwanted and unliked, light & view-blocking window to take a shot of the rather prettily-lit view. And the wind nearly blew me backwards! The window blew in and clouted me on the shoulder. I would have dropped the camera, but for having the camera wrist strap on! Boy, it was vicious!

It was a little early to take the medications yet. I made a brew, and an unexpected blotch of enthusiasm to get the blog updating done came. I assumed due to the Winwood Court photographing taken yesterday, ad the knowledge that it will be a long grind getting them in, with the right-hand’s sensory nerve-ends dying, and getting a little worse each day. So, with determination, I took the brew and got on the computer.

WD 51.51.153 But:

Virgin6

I waited a while, thinking it might come back on… Fool! I turned off the computer, then back on, and the internet came on with it, but it was so slow! I made a start and downloaded the camera SD card to the Photograph folder.

WD 51.51.153 Then tried to upload to WordPress, and…

Virgin6

I pressed the much-used, probably the most used button on the Virgin box worldwide, the reset button. I had the same trouble with BT years ago, that’s why I moved to Virgin. What a ‘Mistaka-to-maka!’

I turned the computer then the Virgin box off altogether. Made another brew, took the medications, passed-wind and returned to the computer. I turned back on everything and waited as the Liberty-Global Virgin Media box failed to ignite any activity with the internet. A good fifteen minutes later, I pressed the dreaded rest button again on the V-box.

Vir Navy

Just like that, twenty minutes later, I got the signal back! The slow signal!

WDP 08L02bWD 51.51.153 Then, I realised with it going down in the first place, it hadn’t saved any of my work already done! I was well miffed, peeved-off and feeling in-the-dumps, now! I assume this incident is what the EQ was warning me of? I hope so anyway, I can’t take any more adiaphorous activity!

WD 51.51.153 I stupidly started on this blog, totally forgetting about updating the Sunday post! What a schlimazel!

So, I belatedly started the Sunday updating. Umph! It had taken me six-hours with all the internet connection problems, to get the post finalised. Irritable would be the word for how I felt!

I went on the WordPress reader, and put some stuff on the TFZer FacebookinWDP 4GRg. Got carried away and the time is flying by after the bad start. Thank you, Mr Fries!

WD 51.51.153 I was doing some graphicalisationing, well, about to begin, and…

Virgin6

Argh!!! So I got the things ready and got the ablutionalisationing done. Humph!

T’was a grand session. Dropsies only five! Oh, Yes! No toe-stubbing. No shaving cuts, or sock-glide injuries either! I didn’t even drop the soap! All spruced up and dressed. Got the black bags made and off to the waste chute.

WD 51.51.153 Bit of a Dizzy Dennis en route back to the flat. I’ve noticed I get them often when I am bending forwards or looking down? I made up the recycling bag and took it with me on the way out. I met Stewart, the caretaker, and he took it from me to take to the bin for me. Nice of him, that was!

1Mon04WD 51.51.153 Checked for things missed, not done or done that shouldn’t have been in the flat (several times, Huh!) and down the lift to the large Winwood Social Room. It took a while, as there is only the one lift working again!

I dropped some stuff off at the ILC Holding cell an office, and went in the big room and got the crossword book out.

WD 51.51.153 Young, Welsh William walked in on his way back to his flat, and quipped, as he saw me crosswording, “Ah, you’re trying to look intelligent, don’t bother!” Hehehe! This, for some reason, set-off a panic attack; “Am I going out when a delivery is expected today?” I had no option but to walk all the way back through Windwood to Woodthorpe Court, back up the one elevator and into the apartment to check on the Google calendar when the delivery was due. Time was getting short of catching the bus… I discovered the deliveries are both for tomorrow. Phew! Then I had to hasten back down and along Chestnut Way to the bus stop! All this palava, to get a sourdough baguette, Haha!

1Mon05I joined the huddle of Winwoodonians at the shelter, as the buses were due to arrive. Luckily they were both a couple of minutes late. The Arnold-bound bus arrived, and 90% of the gang got on this one. The City-bound one came afterwards, and we piled on it. I only rode up 1Mon06the hill for about three bus stops and got off near Woodborough Road. I got off and walked along to the Aldi store. The sun was intense but had no heat with it this afternoon.

1Mon07As I was going into the shop, I had a dizzy spell again. Getting a bit regular these are, Mmm!

As I got inside and went to get a basket to use, this is the scene I noticed, near the entrance. Naughty! Fire extinguishers were inaccessible behind the shopping thingies! I started the shopping by going to the Sourdough baguettes. Then bread thins, tinned garden peas, Cox’s apples, small potatoes, some packs of cooked meats, cashew nuts, and went to the checkout.

WD 51.51.153 Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shaun attacked as I was in the queue. Then, while I was being served, I had to suffer the embarrassment of a rather forceful version of the right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance! It was a short one but left me feeling a little vague. I cannot recall anything until I had got outside. I found the receipt in the bag. So I must have paid, Haha!

1Mon09

I walked along to Mapperley Rise, passing the old car showrooms, that had been used as a Garden Centre, and was seemingly now being used by an Arthur Daley copycat? I cannot recall taking these two photographs at all? All looking very like an Edward Heath enterprise to me? Haha!

WD 51.51.153 The head was clearing of confusion; until I got on the hill going down to Sherwood. Then I started going all dizzy and feeling out of it again. Keeping my balance was nigh-on impossible as I clung on to the trolley for grim life, but it wasn’t any help this time. I had the nouse to just stop, which was not easy on one of Nottingham’s steepest hills with uneven paving! I just leant against a wall for half-an-hour or so, until I felt well and brave enough to continue hobbling precariously (and ultra-slowly) down to the flats.

WDP 02LcRThere may be a clue as to the problems like this. I was going downhill, looking down when this took place? The same last month, with the falls, although in the flat. I was looking down both times when I toppled forwards and onto the deck?

I did notice that as I got to the flats along Chestnut Walk, I felt a lot more like myself, and the dizzies cleared altogether as I got on the flat bit of the road? The Doctor’s for me, I’ll make an appointment tomorrow, if I can get through on the phone, and if I can hear what the receptionist is saying. It might be best to use the email?

1Mon09aAnother mystery photograph I found on the SD card. Taken I think, on Mapperley Rise?

I got in the flats and limped through the linking corridors and Winwood Court, into the lift lobby. Still only the one lift working, but no one was around, and I was soon up in the flat, and off for an SGSS (Short-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) wee-wee, and anointed the Arthur Itis knees with loads of well-rubbed-in Phorpain gel.

1Mon11A lot of bumph had been posted while I was out. As I bent to pick them up (the picker stick has broken, a new one needed desperately – but who keeps forgetting – Inchcock does, the fool!), it occurred to me, I was stooping and reaching out, and no signs of any Dizzy Dennis bother? This pu1Mon09bzzled me, as I bet it will the medics, too!

Washed, and got the goods stored away. I got some potatoes in the saucepan, on the boil. Then got the Dagwood sarnies made up. On the bread thins that I’d bought. I used the tomato slicer on a red and the black tomatoes used. Adding generous slices of cooked turkey and adding some onion-salt. Opened a can of 1Mon10garden peas adding demerara sugar). Put some beetroot on the plate. A lemon-curd yoghourt on the tray, a cox’s apple and a bottle of fresh orange juice.

I prayed that the appetite would stay with me! (It did too!)

WDPT02LAdded the evening doses of medications, and a swig of the ineffective, wishy-washy, impuissant medicines. This repast was served up and got enthusiastically ingurgitated. With no dizzies! All gobbled up with relish! Flavour Rating: 6.25/10 given.

Xyrophobia Pete: posting his pools off before he won the £658,000 last August

I washed the pots up (No hand-washing again, idle git!). And settled down in the recliner. The one that xyrophobia-suffering, con-man and Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting when I was in the Stroke Ward. And he fitted new CCTC cameras, and erected a drone-landing platform outside and searched for my valuables, which he found and took, (I still haven’t got them back yet seven-months later). Of course, I’ll never get them all back, he’s given some of the money to charity, and that he’s banked will not be returned I suppose. Tsk!

Moon

Cinema Poster

I opted for one of my all-time favourite films to watch on the DVD; Inspired from (Genius) H.G. Wells’ 1901 novel ‘The First Men In The Moon’. It was made I think, in 1964. I can certainly recall watching it at the cinema when it came out. Lionel Jeffries played his part to perfection all the way through. The entertainment value, memory provoking, and desire to go back and do things right this time, were all activated!

It brought back recollections of a young Meadow’s (Medders) lass, who I went to the cinema with, Caroline. We went to see it at the now long gone, Gaumont Cinema in Nottingham. I had to fork-out 7/- (3/6d each – 17½p) to get us in!  Ahh, memories. I looked up the current prices at the Showcase cinema today, £8.80 to £9.75. How 17½p are in that total? I’d work it out if I knew how to.

No falling asleep watching this one! As it finished, I did dose-off. But kept waking up for a few times, (four or five at least- Humph!) before giving up, and getting up.

Inchcockski – Sunday 8th December 2019: Far less mingent activity today, Hehe!

Sunday 8th December 2019

Maltese: Il-Ħadd 8 ta ‘Diċembru 2019

01Dec 08

23:15hrs: I woke to find the brain clinomania affected. Slowly, dilatorily turning from a deep sleep, into a mock-activation mode. At least the brain was working: ‘Josie’s meal to do today’, Ocado delivery twixt 0600 > 0800hrs’. It didn’t get far, as the need for a wee-wee arrived, and this meant the moving of the flobby-bellied yet rhinoceros-sized short tubby body, from the £300, c1968, rickety recliner.

WD 250.0.250 Argh! A brand new pain was stinging me, the right side of the chest and shoulder. No idea what it is, but most likely I’d been sleeping in some sort of warped, bent position. Getting up was more manageable today, and I’d left the four-pronged walking stick handily next to the Ottoman. (Why can’t I always do this?)

Off to the kitchen, got the kettle on and took the medications with some orange juice. I got the hiccups pretty bad, which lasted for half an hour or so, then stopped? The chest and shoulder were still aching sharply. Made the brew and off to the computer.

Virgin 128.0.0

This made things go slower than ever. At times it would not let me upload any photographs, or just froze for differing lengths of time. Gribble-Crap! But, I had a banal persistent in me this morning and pressed on. Moaning and grumblingly, I admit! Hours later, I got the post finalised, Phew, worra struggle! Thanks, Mr Fries!

The wee-wees were persistent, all of the WYSAO (Weak-Yet-Spraying-All-Over) mode. I sent some pictures to Pinterest, then went on the WordPress Reader. Next, on to the TFZer Facebooking.

Nearly time to get the ablutions done, and the EQ was telling me to expect problems.

WDP 13LWD 250.0.250 I had to stop suddenly on the computerisationing when Saccades Sandra started off. There was no way I could cope with typing and or the screen flashing. The loss of eye-control was a little unnerving. Vision blurring badly as the eye-nerves were sending and twitching then every which way! I had concerns about risking shaving now. But I’ll give a cautious try. Off to the wet room, I doddered.

WDP08LWell, if ever I deserved a few moments of Inner-Smugness, it was after doing the ablutionalisationing! It went amazingly well! Dropsies, only four, toothbrush, razors (2) and unfortunately, a bottle of disinfectant when I was cleaning up afterwards, and it split open (plastic bottle). But no bother to clean up, although it was too early to use the shower cause of the noise. So I took water from the sink and rinsed it away, and dried the liquid with paper towels, using my left foot. So I didn’t have to go down on my knees and get stuck down there again. (No nurses to come to save and rescue me today, Haha!) No teeth-cleaning cuts, no shaving cuts! Little Inchies fungal lesion was not bleeding! Fair enough, I did get the odd bruise out of the Sock-Glide usage!

7Sun01WD 250.0.250 After I’d got the socks on, I realised that the left leg had more water-retention than the right one. But, I soon had a message from my EQ, and all became clear as to why this had happened. It has to be the Peripheral neuropathy’s Synapse, (The area between nerve cells or neurons that transmits nerve impulses that are dying) are not getting the messages to the brain? This would explain the legs, almost several times a day changes? In degrees of the Clopidogrel, Haemostasis Deep vein Arterial Thrombosis (DVT), and iliac, femoral, and varicose vein conditions? Oh, I love it when I can get a chance to sound knowledgable and intelligent. I’d be lost without the internet, yer know. Hehehe!

WD 250.0.250 The chest and shoulder pains are still with me. Tsk! I meandered with the stick into the kitchen to make another brew, and the intercom lit up. It was the Ocado delivery man. I gathered the returnable carrier bags and went to the door as he arrived. The chap put them in the hallway for me, we had a friendly litt7Sun02le short natter – but I’d not the hearing-aids in, so I’m not sure what we spoke about, but he laughed, so I did, as he departed. I took the bags one at a time into the kitchen and put the kettle on again, and took a photo of the delivery after I’d emptied the packages, and laid the nosh out, then realised there was no paperwork or email with details to check if anything is missing or not with? Ah, well! Here are some snaps I took of the products I purchases, including some luxury items for Julie and myself.

The message on the smoked Haddock had made me smile. ‘Atlantic Dyed Smoked Haddock Fillets’ I should hope they have died! Oh, I am a clot at times! Hahaha!

7Sun08WD 250.0.250 I noticed that the Scilician black tomatoes had ‘Fully Recyclable Packaging written on the box. Minutes later, I turned and saw the recyclable tomato bag actually moving to the hot mug of tea, and clinging around the mug, for dear life! I had a job pulling it off without spilling the tea, but I coped with it. ‘Smug-Mode-Engaged’ again!

7Sun12WDPH01L3I had a quick bash on the TFZer Facebook site, before getting Josie’s dinner cooked. Chickpeas in tomato-puree and passata. Two pieces of smoked Haddock, beetroot, cheesy-potatoes, sliced tomatoes, crispy onions, mushrooms and a Limoncello dessert, with a few nibbles, and a Black Tomato for her to have later in the week. Oh, and a can of Gin & Tonic. We had a quick natter and she let me take the photograph as I delivered the meal.

Then back to the flat and to the Porcelain Throne. A messy, bloody, painful, but usual evacuation. Had a wee-wee, and got the camera, and set off on a photographicalisationing visit to the Winwood Court rooftop leisure centre.

7Sun26Out, down in the lift, along through the snuggly-warm link-passage, and into the new, heated, rubber floored, gleamingly clean elevator, and up to the fourth floor. I like the commanding voice of the lift messages in these lifts, I can’t understand a word she is saying, but the tone is enough. Hehe!

Out of the elevator, into the free of any tellurians, beautiful, warm, snug-as-a-bug social room. I have yet to meet any residents in here, or on the rooftop, either. No, I tell a fib, I dd see a mother and daughter inspecting the place once, but mother turned it down.

WD 250.0.250 I pressed the big open button to the alfresco roof seating area, and the wind made the trolley go backwards into the knees! It was that strong! I should have remembered from opening the flat window earlier, but didn’t.

The leak and blockage on the rooftop are still the same. I caught a decent view of the violent wind-made ripples in the ever-growing smelly puddle of rainwater, leaves, fag-ends and oil. I leant over the safety barrier to take a downward shot of the electric-car charging point. I was surprised at how well it came out, considering the buffeting I was getting from the gale. A final shot, to try and catch an image of the bent over in the wind plants, suitably positioned next to the plant room. Haha! I’d had enough of being blown about, and went back inside. It’s no shock to see they have had to chain the furniture to the wooden flooring, is it? Brrr!

I imagine in summer, it will be packed with up here with geriatrics and a couple of nonagenarians and family visitors. I hope so, I also would like to still be capable of getting up here and having a chinwag and laugh with them, in the warm summer days.

7Sun20Back down in the lift, and then along the warm snug people-less link-corridor, back to the cold Woodthorpe Court lift lobby. It looks a little eerie in this picture. The lights are the motion-activated type.

I got back in and decided to get the nosh done, before I fell asleep, for I knew I would soon (EQ).

7Sun13I got the washing up done first (saucepans, oven-dish, spatulas etc.) after serving it up, again because I felt I was soon going to drift off into the land of nod! No handwashing, too tired! Garden peas, with demerara sugar and salt, smoked haddock, beetroots and black tomatoes. I put one on the tray so you can what they look like. Really a different taste, almost meaty.

I put on another Bond movie, ‘A View to Kill’. As an aid to counter my soporific tendencies, and started to watch it while gourmandisationing. The 9/10 Flavour-Rated meal, was all gobbled up. The taste of those black tomatoes is amazingly like pork? The smoked haddock was probably the best frozen-fish I’ve ever had. Highly palatable!

I needed a wee-wee, so took the tray and things to the kitchen, and put them in the sink to soak, had the SS (Short-Sprinkly) wee-wee, washed and returned to the recliner. I was soon in the land of nod… nice, ZZZ!

Jobs in coal mines from 1,200,000 in 1920 to 2,015 in 2018

23:50hrs: I stirred into life, with a clarity of mind, that I had not had for years? Almost thoughtless! I extracted my ever-morphing body from the £300, second-hand, c1968, decaying recliner, stood up, caught my balance, and wobbled off to the kitchen, with, for me, great dexterity! Amazing this is, I thought!

5Fri01WDPh 01WD 0.0.50 As I was stepping over the door divider, the right leg gave the shortest ever Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance, ever. As it began, I grabbed the doorframe with he left hand, and clung on to the four-pronged walking stick with the right, ready to drop it if needed… and the leg started to flail, and it clouted against the corner of the cupboard, making me jump a little, and it was all over? I would think it lasted about ten-seconds or so, now everything is back to normal; apart from the bruise on my leg of course, Haha! Now that was something new, but I was well pleased with it being so short a dance, all the same. I fear I may have sworn out loud when the leg got caught on the cupboard corner. Oh dear! Sorry and my apologies to any of my neighbours who might have heard it!

WDPH01R6On a cheerier note, when I got the medications and medicines out to take, I was over-the-moon when I found I had not missed imbibing the evening dosages! At last, I’d gorrit right for once! Somewhat of a victory there for me, after going for about three or four nights and forgetting to take them every night! Smug-Mode-Adopted!

I moved the handwashing onto the airers, and off to have a wee-wee. This one was a catch-me-out mode of CMOUSTSTBOWV (Catching-Me-Out-Unwilling-Slow-To-Start-Then-Blasting-Out-With-Venom) style. You see how lucky I am really, any average person, with an uncancerous bladder, would miss all this variety and unexpectedness in urinational activities. Hehehe!

I got on with updating the Thursday post, which, although a longish one, was not handicapped too much by the Neurotransmitter failing finger-ends this morning. I imagine the peripheral neuropathy was still planning on the way to get the involuntary Neuropathic Schuhplattler dancing going again. Haha! I got it finished though, witin a few hours and had posted it off.

I sent some pictures to Pinterest. Went on the TFZer Facebooking, then went on the WordPress Reader.

5Fri02The ablutions went well. With only four dropsies. Oh yes! Razor (2), Carbolic soap and the toothbrush!

The pins (legs) seemed to have lost the fluid retention, and the signs of the Clopidogrel effects were far less!

5Fri003I dressed in warm clothing and took the black bags to the waste-chute, returned to the flat and collected the large recycling bag, and took it down with me on the way out.

As I entered the Winwood Court through-passage, the lovely warmth greeted me. I took this shop as I got through the first swipe door. 5Fri004The drizzle was still falling lightly. I proceeded in an easterly direction (Haha!), and with no one in the ILC’s Holding and Interview room, I went to have a go at the crossword in the big Winwood Socialisational room. I greeted John ‘Herbert’ as I passed him, and ensconced myself on a snug corner and got the crossword book out. I was sat in a high chair, more comfortable to get out of you know! Neighbour young, fit, rich, good-looking Malcolm (I hate him, Hehehe!) spoke, I gave him his little Christmas treat, Jack Daniels & Coke. Many folks walked by me, but being in the corner, they did not spot me or hear my ‘Good Morning’s’. At least I hope it was that, and not my B.O. Haha!

After almost total failure with the crosswording, I rose up, and hobbled through the second link passage to Winchester Court and joined other residents, waiting in the dry of the lobby, for the bus. I spoke greetings a few. Eddie or Louie answered me, he was looking a little better this morning. I went out to the bus stop, which was overflowing with Winwoodonians. Cindy, Angela, Penny, Mary and many others were in the shelter, and when the bus arrived, other tenants flowed from the foyer out into the drizzle to catch the bus. A lady let me on ahead of her with my three-wheeler. Mercy beaucoup. So I managed to get a side-saddle seat. I screwed myself up in the corner, for I knew the battle to remain seated and not get tipped out of the chair, or trod on by the passing passengers getting on and off the bus, was ahead. Safet-First!

Another not too successful bash at the crossword en route, and we were soon in town. I dropped off at the bottom of Goosegate. I wanted to look for murals to photograph, I knew some were, at least used to be in the Lace Market area.

WDPh 01Up the hill, I wobbled and found myself passing the shop that used to be a Tesco that I worked at in 1962ish. The memories flooded back, it was most likely the happiest times for me, working and finding romance there. It had been a Sex Shop for a long time, but I noticed it was now a Charity shop.

7Sun10a

I could not help but walk in and have a look. Seeing nothing around me much, for I was living what was there so long ago, the memories flowed. A young Marrianne Faithful look-a-like volunteer assistant, (yes, the memories were dominant now), asked me if I was alright. I must have looked either a little pasty or in a dream world state. (Well, yes, I was having a few moments in a reminiscing and regretting mode). I mentioned my past experiences and this being a Tesco store. The eyes raise up, she needed to say no more. I 5Fri005told my farewells and continued up Goosegate to Stoney Street, and down in search of some Street Art to picture. I took this photo of the what was, Price Properties building, with the artwork on the gable end.

WD 0.0.50 As I started to walk along towards where I thought the murals were, I spotted some pretend policemen putting up tape, signs and cones. People were being turned back at the end of the road. Oh, dear, another stabbing or 5Fri006shooting perhaps? So, I turned around to go back to Goosegate. I spotted this Magpie on a mould covered window ledge. The sad bit, bing the sign relating the For Sale of the freehold property. I checked on the web later, out of no [particular interest, on the price. But it just said Sale By Tender. Bet the Magpie’s not bothered either! Hehehe!

1Mon03I called at the Oriental Mart store on Heathcoat Street, to get some more of the Sukang Puti vinegar and some of the salted peanut brittle nibbles. I found the peanuts quickly and spent a long time searching for the vinegar. After much wandering around and having to of different ways to get through. Because of a lack of room to get the walker through with me, I found a similar flavouring. Chinese Distilled vinegar, it had the same high-acidity of 5% as the Indonesian one does, so I bought it. And that was that, all my shopping for the day, two items! No cause for any smugness, though. Cause I’ve got an Ocado delivery coming on Sunday morning. With Thompson and Glengettie Gold teabags, I never want to run out of them again! And some green tomatoes as a treat for myself for Christmas!

5Fri007Up over the hill and down Pelham Street towards Clumber Street and the Slab Square. I noticed a distinct atmosphere from the Nottinghamians today. Finding the right words for it is not easy. An antsiness, nervousness, a sense that anything could explode or erupt at any time? And the Christmas rides, stalls and food outlets on the fayre, were not doing much 5Fri007ctrade at all, despite it being lunchtime.

Looking up one of the almost hidden alleyways of shops on Pelham Street, there was not s soul in sight! The leaseholders had done there best to drum up some trade, with the illegal, bards and advertising. Well, something else, a different danger from Pavement Cyclists, for sight-challenged people to walk into. I took three photographs of Clumber Street as I stopped at the junction.

I limped up King Street on to Parliament Street. Where I took this selection of photos, that give a decent representation of what I found.

5Fri019Then, down Queen Street, to the L9 bus stop.

The bus arrived on time, which caught a couple of regular riders out, who must have been anticipating the usual late arrival of the swap-over bus, and had to get a move on to catch it.

Eddie got on at the next stop, and I delved into the crossword book puzzles (Why do I bother!) It felt like just minutes later, I looked up, and the bus was pulling into the Winwood flats complex. There is, of course, the possibility that I had fallen to sleep en route. Humph!

I asked Eddie if I could carry his bag up to his flat for him, I could see it was heavy for him. But he said not.

I limped through the link-Winwood Lcorridor to the large Social area in Winwood Court, and to the ILC Warden’s holding and interrogation office. Handed out some nibbles and ha a mini-natter, then onwards through the Windwood to Woodthorpe Court link-corridor. Into the cold lift lobby, and up to the flat.

WDP 02lb5Fri21WD 0.0.50 Where I got the lamb chops in the oven and got the handwashing (only a long sleeve shirt and pair of bamboo socks) done, wrung and hung. The finger-end neurotransmitters failed to recognise touch or send the message to the brain again. However, at least they let me get the washing done before kicking-off! I was concerned about some uncomfortable tremblings in the right leg knee, which I thought might be the start of some interest from the Peripheral Neuralgia, in performing one of its Neuropathic Schuhplattler drop-something and flail-about dance routines. But I was so wrong, it was as good as gold all night!

WDP 4GLWD 0.0.50 The intercom lit up and buzzed, it was a young lady from Carrington pharmacy, with this month’s Prescriptions for me. Unfortunately, as I was about to press the door release button, the neurotransmitters died a death once more, and I ended up pressing repeatedly, and this turned everything off on the control panel! Grumph! I got the walking stick and got down as fast as I could to be in time to catch her. Off course, both lifts were on the ground floor, so that made me slower than ever. Arthur Itis, who had been so good to me all day, started to play-up as well. I got down in a bit of a panic, and Cindy told me that Jenny had taken the medication off of the girl and will bring them to the flat for me. So good to me that Jenny is.

WDP 001 LbWD 0.0.50 So, I got back to the flat… to find that the lamb chops had burnt in the oven! After having such a good day, this knocked me back a bit! I turned off the stove and checked out the meat. It was not a good sight. But, I decided to risk them anyway. I put them in the saucepan with the tomatoes and passata to keep warm, and the doorbell chimed.

WDP 09LIt was Jenny, with the medications for me, bless her cotton socks. She brought them into the kitchen for me. I had a job handing her some wine as her Christmas treat, and thanked her profusely. I do appreciate all she does for me, she’s saved my bacon a few times, I can tell yer! ♥

5Fri22I got to sorting meal again. Got it in the bowl on the tray with the dessert and bread ready.

Got the pots washed-up, and settled to dine. To dine, did I say? Have you seen the chop on top of the dish? It was 80% bone! Boy was I annoyed! Still, I sucked what few bits of meat there was off of the bone. And yet, the packet before, had some lovely lamb in it? Far too much bread was eaten with soaking up the tomatoes and juice, to help stave off the hunger that lingered after the meal. Thank You, Mr Iceland!

I got settled down in the rickety recliner, and within minutes I thought I smelt something burning? I went on a search around

5Fri20WD 0.0.50 Aha! I’d left the oven on. I also noticed the state of the pins when I took this photographicalisation. I could tell that Arthur Itis was not in a good mood, too.

WD 0.0.50 I turned off the oven and got back down in hopes of some sleep. And Colin Cramps visited me, legs but mainly the left one, it was far much worse. Perhaps with the Peripheral neuralgia down my right side since the stroke, the damaged neurotransmitters may not be sending the pain messages to the brain? Suits me! Hehehe! Enough agony from the left leg and foot, thank you.

No sleep seemed imminent, so I put on another Bond film, ‘Thunderball’, and soon to sleep I did fall, I wasn’t bothered at all. Haha!

WDP 16R23:35hrs: I stirred ostensive into ersatz life, calmly, slowly and thoughtfully this Thursday merry morning. The mind was not filled with blasting confusing thoughts, as would it would typically be. There were certain calmnesses and acceptances of something or other that I could not identify. Obviously, the grey-cells must have been active during my sleeping? After a few minutes failing to find what it was I was so relaxed and accepting of, the need for a wee-wee arose.

I removed my free-floating bulbous, wobbly-stomached torso from the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-grotty beige-coloured recliner. I’d like to add that this was done with minimal hassle from any of the ailments! Arthur Itis, Duodenal Donald, Reflux Roger, Hernia Henry, Back-Pain-Barbara and Harolds Haemorrhoid were all but absent, pain-wise? I know, I couldn’t believe or understand it either! Only Saccades Sandra and an attempted, but self-aborted Neuropathic Drop-Something dance from the neurotransmitter-dying right leg as I moved off gingerly towards the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket) hindered my progress. The wee-wee was that of a rarely taken, USBUYWS (Ultra-Slow-But-Uncontrollable-Yet-Weak-Sprinkly) mode.

WDP 08L02b WD 60.25.0 I then moved the handwashing on the airers and became aware of the regular humming and droning noise that surrounds the flats, very off-putting! Into the kitchen to take the medications, and sod-me and poke-me-in-the-belly-and-lose-your-hand, I’d done it again, and missed taking the evening doses! I have without question, turned into a scatterbrain, a ditz, and at the same time seem to have adopted the straights of a distant luftmensh! I took the Warfarin and the Simvastatin, and the morning doses later on with the brew.

4Thu01Got the computer on and checked the appointments on the Google Calendar.

I plan to go out early this morning and try to get some photographs of Woodthorpe Grange Park, on the way to the Sherwood Health Centre appointment. I hope I don’t get another text message telling me it’s been cancelled when I get there! Although it might be a little dark then around 0700hrs? Mmm?

I’ll have to get back sharpish, to catch the window cleaners as well. Then wait to see when the Iceland delivery arrives. I’ve got the last of the Christmas nibble hand-outs on this delivery; if that isn’t cancelled like it was two weeks ago! Lucky, you cannot call me!

WDPH01L3As I began to update yesterday’s blog, the need to divert to the Porcelain Throne arrived. So, off to the wet room. The feeling of trepidation I usually take with me was not needed. This turned out to be an evacuation that went well. Oh, yes! No, I say, No, bleeding from front or rear, minimal pain and a messy-less action! Smug-Mode-Adopted!

2Tue01Cleaned up, and went to make another brew, took the morning medications at the same time. Then back to the computerisationing.

The finger-ends were giving a fair amount of bother, so very many jerky intermittent neurotransmitter-dying prompted mistakes and correctionalisationing activity annoyed me! But I did get it done, so few photos to deal with, with my not getting out-doors again, made the task easier than usual. Saccades Sandra later stopped her eye-jerking, thankfully.

I went on to the WordPress Reader, good stuff on there again. Then to the TFZer Facebooking, this tool a long time, but I enjoyed it so much.

Ablutions time! Well well, well, another decent effort. The usual few dropsies, but the Sock-Glide battle was a complete victory; no bruises, no blood-blisters and no knee-knocking! Fair enough, a couple of small cuts shaving, nowt like serious though. Double-Smug-Mode-Engaged!

WDPB01LIt was an almost content old Inchcock, who got his things ready, but a couple of cans of the G&T cans in the trolley, to give the staff at the Health Centre as a Christmas treat. Wrapped up well, remembered his gloves, and set off out, down the elevator, through the lobby and out on to Chestnut Walk, and the bitter unwelcoming cold morning.

4Thu03I stood for a moment in the terraqueous-free road, and had a look around, taking in the peace and quiet.

But the cold came as well, and this spurred into activity. And I stepped forth, approaching the nowadays, threatening, slippy, trip and slip upperable gravel hill path!

4Thu04WD 60.25.0 Not a good start, I nearly went over as I got to the other side of the walk, as the front wheel got jammed with leaves. Humph!

I had to take a couple of short breathers, however, I get to the top without further incidents or Accofauxpas!

I decided to take a different route to the Sherwood Health Centre, slightly longer, but there was no rush, I had plenty of time.

4Thu20

4Thu05As I set off on the footpath towards Mansfield Road, a gentleman perambulist on a bicycle, a keen, fit, athletic young sportsman, good-looking, handsome even, shot by me from the back, at a speed that champion cyclist Denis Mueller-Korenek, would have been proud of! The spunk-faced, ignorant crutch-faced git!

Towards the lower part of the path, I spotted some Nottinghamian Street Art at its finest!

4Thu08

4Thu10I got to the bottom of the walkway, and took this photographicalisation, to mu right, facing towards Daybrook and the North of Nottingham. Not a very good shot, blurry, I’m afraid. I could sense the right leg getting agitated, or rather the nerves in the limb, and prepared myself for a possible Neuropathic 4Thu11Schuhplattler dancing session!

Up the hill and over into Sherwood I limped, turning left into Elmswood Gardens, and going down to the Health Centre, and went to the receptionist window to report in. I meant to ask if I could get my hearing aid batteries from here, but forgot all about it! Humph! I signed in and went to the Podiatrist waiting area, and got the crossword book out. I got a few answers to, on the old already-had-several-bashes at puzzles. The lady called me in, and we had a natter while she did my tootsies. I gave her a choice of what to have for a Christmas drinky, and she chose the wine. Obviously, she was a refind lady! I tanked her 4Thu12and called at the reception on the way out, and gave the young lady the can of gin and tonic for her pressie. That cheered her up a bit!

I departed and made my way to the main road and down into Sherwood.

4Thu13 I espied a new to me, anyway, Christmas tree had been put in the ground on the pavement, even from far away it looked a little on the tatty side.

4Thu14As I got close to it, I realised it was tatty! All bashed about. I wouldn’t be surprised if it weren’t the local yobbery gangs who were responsible! Tut! Or it may have fallen over hence the barriers?

5Fri02I got some cleaning things from Wilko. Fabric conditioner, fabric freshener and Fragrance booster.

All Wilko brand and the same Ylanf & Fressia scented. Well, I like it!

WDPT03LWD 60.25.0 It was in Wilko, at the check-out, when the anticipated flipping annoying Neuropathic Drop-Something dance routine started! As the leg flailed, I heard a female behind me in the queue I expect, screamed out loud! It must have made her jump! However, it was thankfully short-lived, ferocious while it lasted, mind! The lady on the till came round to see if I was alright, then she packed the things into the bag for me. Bless her. I paid my dues, and then I dropped my gloves on the floor! She came out again and picked them up for me. That was really good of the woman! She even told me to take care, as  I left the shop! ♥

4Thu09No more mock-dancing, as I started the hobble back to the flats

As I got into the park, another of the nice pavement cyclists came from behind me at speed. I inquired if he had a “#’$cking bell!” But he didn’t hear me. I thought afterwards, he might have had one and rang it? I may not 4Thu15have heard it!

Near the pathway down to the flats, I fell in love with terrier dog. Don’t know why, but she appealed to me.

4Thu16I turned onto the gravel path top and took this picture of Winwood Heights. The buildings looked quite impressive now that Winwood Court has been finished being built. I considered going up to the roof to photograph the blocked and leaking drains, but I didn’t. Ahem!

4Thu17I took a last outdoors photo, showing the bottom field and cluster of mixed housing on the hill.

I cleaned the wheels on the trolley best I could with the kitchen towelling I had with me, before going in. And up to the flat.

I got on the computer, and:

Virgin (4a)

So, I started to get the kitchen cleaning again, and the Window cleaners arrived. We had a laugh and giggle while they were working. I handed them some plonk for Christmas, and off they went.

I got on the computer, and:

Virgin (4a)

I was well wee’d off now!

So I went to get the handwashing done, but no time, the Iceland delivery arrived. He told me the intercom down in the outer lobby, had been removed and asked why? Grand chap he was, we had a natter and said our farewells. I got the nosh put away. Then got the black bags done up and taken to the waste chute.

At last, the Liberty-Global-Crap internet came back on. And I got on with updating this post.

4Thu22Tiredness dawned, so I got the handwashing done, and made the meal. Maple lamb chops, curried baked beans with balsamic vinegar, tomatoes, wholemeal cobs and lemon mousse. An 8/10 for flavour rating.

Got the pots soaking in the sink, and went for a 4Thu23freshen up in the wet room.

The Spider veins, varicose and spider veins, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), iliac veins, femoral veins, and saphenous veins, along with the maculations and lumps were a little more prominent tonight. Perhaps a build-up of fluid retention, too. I’ll love this self-diagnosing lark. Haha! Probably in my next life, I will become a Doctor, and I’m in training to learn how to cope with the ailments?

Belatedly, I remembered to take the evening medications. At last, after three missed does on the trot.

I got settled in the recliner that brother-in-law Pete broke while he was flat robbing while I was in the hospital with the stroke. He was fitting some more clandestine CCTV cameras so he could monitor and know the optimum to phone me, which is when I am about to start eating a meal, fallen asleep, or on the Porcelain Throne. He relieved me of my valuables on the pretence of keeping them safe, gave a lot of the cash to his favourite charities, and I still haven’t got any that might be left, unspent, back yet, after seven months! Still, give him credit, he’s very good at making his own drones, and is a perfect Hustler, as well.

I soon nodded off.
