INCHCOCK TODAY DIARY
Saturday 27th February 2021
Mongolian: 2021 оны 2-р сарын 27-ны бямба гараг
00:30hrs: I woke, in complete denial of moving, went into a slugabed mode and nodded off again. Repeatedly!
When I stirred for about the tenth time, it was 02:48hrs, and the need for the Porcelain Throne cruelly forced me into physical activity, Humph! Freeing my overly-stomached body from the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, sickeningly beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety-recliner, and catch my balance for walking, was a battle to get it done in time. The need for the evacuation was growing more urgent, and I moved as fast as possible, only just getting there on time!

Trotsky Terence yet again won the PTDDSB (Porcelain-Throne-Daily-Domination-Stakes-Battle). Poor old Constipation Konrad was annihilated! Almost 50% liquid, running droplets of red and brown, with streaks of white evacuated into the WC bowl! Messy, but not painful today, though! But the foul aroma produced did me no good, Eurgh!
Then the farcicalities started!
First, the cleaning of oneself must have taken a third of the toilet roll, and ten-minutes!- Then, the evacuated product was encouraged to go down into the sewer, which took three hand-fillings of the water tank and eight flushes to complete!
- Then I found some of the ‘liquid’ had escaped earlier, and the PPs needed changing! That took effort, time and cost me £2 for the too-small
substituted by Sainsbury’s PPs! They had to be used up!
- I washed and then put some of the Harpic bleach White & Shine toilet cleaner with baking soda and lemon around the WC bowl. (I highly recommend this most effective, fresh-smelling product!)
Pleased the sorting out was done, I turned to leave the wet room… Oh, Dearie me! I hit the back of my right shoulder blade on the edge of the doorframe as I was leaving.
Of course, me being the brave, heroic, confident, none-whinging type of person I am, there was no cringing or sobbing involved. Ahem!
I made a brew and took the evening medications I’d forgot tot ake, with an extra pain-killer, and rubbed in some Phorpain Gel as far as I could reach, anyway. Then did the Health
Checks.
The body temperatures was a touch of anosmia, at a high 37.6°c – 99.68°f, in the red. I wasn’t caught out by this. I’ve a little fever and been shivering a little all morning. The Boots Sphygmomanometer readings were just fine, though. SYS 137. DIA 63, and the Pulse at 88.
I added the findings of the results to the now working again Excel chart. Apparently, the temperature has been high for a while now. Not that I can get to tell the Doctor, of course, or do something silly, like ask for advice.

I got the ridiculous idea of going out on the balcony to take a shot of the moon and the car park below Chestnut Walk. The car park one was not one of my better efforts… in fact, it was absolute crap!
The picture of the moon wasn’t up to much, either.
The worst thing was that the fever got worse, and I was going sweaty then freezing alternately. Ah, well, I can’t win them all! Well, any really!
The computer started alright the first time. And set to updating the Friday Diary, and I got it finished in a decent time today.
I emailed the link, Pinterested some snaps, and at this stage, I was handicapped with Colin Cramps having a
half-hour bash at the left hand and fingers! I had to stop typing altogether. He doesn’t usually attack like this during the day; night time is his standard attack time.
I took the opportunity to make another mug of Glengettie and take the belated morning medications with another pain killer to ease the shoulder’s pain. I had a couple of mini swiss rolls with the brew. Then I got some leeks cooking in the crock-pot.
I got involved in the Health Unlocked site, reading in my Anticoagulation pages.
I made a couple of comments and then joined the Peripheral Neuropathy Section and made a comment there. The lady answered very quickly. I’d told her of the after-effects of the AstraZeneca Vaccine. It’s nice to see how others cope with the problems they have that I can relate to, and offer a little support… and get some back, as well. ♥ I enjoyed an hour or so reading of others ailment. Nice break! And, I was beginning to feel a bit better in myself as well, at last! The shivering had stopped, and the shoulder was easing off. Yee-Haa!
I got the leeks from the crock-pot into a saucepan. Washed the dish-bowl and opened a can of Hubbard’s cheapo Chilli-con-Carne. I added it to the saucepan and out in the garden peas. Gravy seasoning, two vegetable Oxo cubes, and a beef flavour pot to the mix stirred it up well, put it on low heat, and a slash of Balsamic vinegar and a pinch of Roast Capsicum seasoning, and lastly, some passata with basil!
That was that; my evening nosh all planned! I’d got some of the Milk Roll bread left from last night to soak it up with. I’d have liked to risk using the Dynamite Chilli.
But I’m aware that things are not yet settled healthwise after the dangerous AstraZeneca vaccine from a week ago! Gawd, I fear having a second shot!
Ah, well, I must try to get some more graphics done to use later off onto CorelDrawing. I got three drawings done to use, and the weariness was dawning.
I was moving into ‘Kaput-Mode’. So got the Chilli meal prepped and served up.
Although it was tasty enough, it took a lot of eating for some reason. And I managed to get the things into the sink to soak and even started to watch an Auf Wiedersehen Pet episode, but blissfully I nodded off, and I slept for five hours!

Going to get the computer on to get the Templates started, and I returned to the wet room, to us the Porcelain Throne. Constipation Konrad was thrashed by Trotsky Terence in this mornings DESB (Daily-Evacuation-Stakes-Battle). What a messy affair! Much refilling of the tank, before the great-dollop of evacuated product, was cleared.
I made up a template for today. Then went onto Facebooking catch-up. The WordPress Reader section next and emailed the link.
I turned off the computer to allow it to cool down a smidge, I went to do the ablutions.
before and legs after the shower were photographed.

I’ve not had a good day, really.
I scraped off as much of the gunk as I could. Then got the Cif oven cleaner spray, and did my best (failing miserably) to get the oven and door cleaned. I even remembered to keep stirring the Chillie-Con-Carne, as I tried to clean the oven, so the saucepan wouldn’t burn!

I grabbed the next in line ‘Heartbeat’ DVD from the box and got it playing.

01:30hrs: I woke gently this morning for once. I lay in the same distorted, wonky position I woke-up in and pondered: will I be up to making the meal for Josie? ‘Yes, I feel better than last night!’ Aha, a positive answer to myself! That was a good start!

I got the kettle on and did the Health Checks. The Harpin Xian Di Thermometer, gave a good body temperature out, a decent again, same for the third day on the trot, in the green, 36.7°c. Well, at least one things gone right up to now. Hahaha!
The Boot’s Sphygmomanometer then showed up with slightly better readings than yesterday. SYS at 159. SIA 81, and the pulse had gone down to 84.
I posted it off to WordPress. Pinterested a couple of photos, and sent off the Email link. Then caught up on Facebooking.

Taking this photo with the socks on, makes the leg look almost normal, dunnit? Hehehe!
course. Cribblebogangonies!
I got the hand-washing done, wrung and hung on the hangers to drip-dry above the sink. I made a bit of a mess that called for the floor and sink to be dried up as well. Hump and Thunderglobberisations!
I got back and did the cleaning up from the cooking, and got myself back on the computer.
see that 21,502 new cases were recorded yesterday! Oh, dear!
I got the nosh started, and served up.

04:50hrs: I woke, and within seconds of attempting to encourage my brain to join me in activating, the need for a wee-wee appeared. I removed my overly-stomached torso from the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-foul beige coloured, none-working rickety recliner; and limped, literally, to the GPEWWB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Wee-Wee-Bucket) and got two shocks at the same time, no, three actually! Tsk!
I went to the wet room, taking care not to stub the overly-long-nailed toes. I washed things up, put the jammie-bottoms in the bucket to soak, and had a stand-up wash and shave. Again surprises, Nicodemus’s visit ended, (It’s going to be a start-stop day methinks). And hardly any dropsies at all! Just the razor (2), and the
toothpaste! It was a confusing start to the day. With merit points, and the usual Whoopsiedangleplops. It looked like the reactions to the Clopidogrel is returning again on both legs and feet.
Then the intercom rang and lit up. It was the Iceland delivery that had arrived. The same chap as yesterday, I think. I pointed out the can pf G & T the side for him in thanks. Off he trotted, and I got the bags indoors, and to the kitchen.
A lot of stuff to find room for again. Amongst them were some new salt & vinegar flavoured Fish Chunks, if all goes well today, I plan to have some of these, with potatoes, tomatoes and sugar snap peas. That’s the plan anyway. Getting the things away was a battle and-a-half! They had sent some of the Naturally Imperfect chips as well, so I made a point of making room for them in the freezer, at the cost of dishing some bits to make room for them.
I got some of the potatoes in the sizeable crock-pot cooking. A bit of sea salt and vinegar added.
I tried to look on the bright side, but it was difficult with the tears running from the eyes… only joking!
I made a brew and checked the potatoes in the big slow-cooker. They were still rock-hard! A shame that. I made sure they were on the high setting.

Maybe today, I can get some graphic done on CorelDraw for the posts?
She took it to deliver to a homeless shelter charity who care for street sleepers. I thanked her for her kindness, and off she flew. Bless her cotton socks!
They even supplied a mass of paperwork with them. Some coronavirus advice, and must and mustn’t doe’s check-list.
I went to check on the spuds progress. Coming on alright. I got the thighs on the plate and added tomatoes, a Marmite cheese medallion and silverskin onions. The slow-cooker cooked potatoes were great tasting, I added some splashes of Hoisin sauce on them. A small can of garden peas as well. The orange kindly donated on my food parcel was almost juiceless. The fowl were not very flavoursome at all. Overall the meal as good, all the same. The Muller light lemon yoghourt and the Clementine drink were lip-smacking good, as usual. An 8.8/10 for Taste rating!

I had a quick check on the latest sad news from the virus.
The intercom rang forth, it was the Iceland delivery. It’ll or nothing innit? Haha!

Into the kitchen to do the washing up. I spotted two youths on the bottom field, a skateboarder and a cyclist, so my hackles-lifted. I’m not sure if they were rolling spliffs, cigarettes, or taking crack, but I took this decentish shot of them. When I viewed it on the camera, I realised the Saccades Sandra as playing and jumping about my focussing, shame! I used this shot as a background and made a Thoughts graphic in the morning.

03:15hrs: I woke up, with the theme tune, “Life, is the name of the game, and I wanna play the game with you” ringing in my head?

seemed to be working okay.

Much CorelDrawing, making graphics for the blog tomorrow.
at me as if I’m an idiot.
I got the nosh sorted out. Chicken breast, and tried the weirdly named Iceland fries, branded as ‘Naturally Imperfect Chips’. They were okay. The chicken breasts were a bit rubbery. Some seaweed crispies and an apple on the side on another plate. Two mini-Vienesse lemon cakes. No, that’s what they are called. I went to look at the part empty box. Lemon Whirls. A can of the delightfully tangy Clementine drink, too.

I got the kettle on, took the medications, again dropping the Omeprazole capsule, and made a brew of Glengettie. Into the computer desk, and had a look at the two-page, side-effects of the Omeprazole’s leaflet. But there was so much of it, I gave up.

I tried for the ninth time in 24hrs, to get a Morrison Grocery order done. Hehehe! What a hopeful, old, gullible, senile idiot, I am!
I did a try at getting some food from Ocado. Another negative, no slots available!
The cobs will be perfect with my beans later! Onions and carrots, I’ve got some parsnips in reasonable nick, in the fridge. Tomorrow’s meal sorted thanks to the donator. That frees me from the worry of having to go out today! Bless whoever it was! Canned mushy peas, baked beans, sardines. A yoghourt that unfortunately has the lethal to me cranberries in it. Milk, lemonade, tomato puree, and some white bread. So kind of them! Oh, and a can of orange pieces, a perfect after for me!
The landline flashed and sounded, I woke and fumbled my way to the phone. It was Jenny, helping me out again! She had miraculously got through to Iceland to give an order. And, as is her natural, considerate, obliging characteristics, she asked if I would like anything adding to the order for Saturday. If I email her back with anything, she will add it to her order. Not many folks would think of that, but Jenny is special.
My body just wanted to sleep, but I wanted to get back to Jenny and thank her and give a little list of items she had kindly asked for me to add to her Iceland delivery. Her delivery is for late on Friday, and Jen’ politely said she would not wake-me then, and bring it to me until Saturday morning. The lady is so thoughtful! So, a treat of braised beef in onion gravy cook-in-the-bag again for me this weekend after all! Bless yers, Jenny!
The hickory seasoned beans with the last of the tomatoes, and triple-fried chips, and the Jenny-supplied bread, were smashing!

00:05hrs: I stirred into ersatz life with a Thought-Storm. But I think the frontal and parietal lobes were at odds with each other, and one of them refused to get involved? Hehe! For it was all over in a minute or so? Then the noise from outside caught my wandering attention. Not, for once, the ‘Hum’, but the wind and rain hitting the windows. (Mind you, the horrible hum returned as soon as the rain stopped later!) Storm Jorge, I presume?
As I was making my first essential, crucial, vital, imperative brew of Glenghettie Gold tea, I noticed the lack of stinging from the right legs Sock-Glide injuries. So, I whipped down the jammie-bottoms and took a look, then this photo of them. It’s amazing how things seem to
clear up so quickly on the right side of the body lately. Great stuff!
I eventually got around to computerisationing! It felt like I’d been up for hours already… hang-on, I had! Tsk! I started on the Friday blog updating. It took me a few hours with all the photos I’d made. But my persistency paid off, and it was finally finished and posted off!
A messy job, with lots of pots and pan cleaning afterwards. But, worth it, despite how weary and done-in I felt. The rice I’d flavoured with Hoisin and BBQ seasoning, added garden peas, the mushrooms (cooked with black bean sauce), and some black beans. Sausages from the freezer, a pot of lemon fool, and wallah!

The readings looked okay to me.
everywhere, but could not find the reason nor source of the sound.
I had a check of the pins while I was in the well-lit kitchen.
I was letting the situation wrangle-me, and I did not like that, getting all sorry for myself.
0300hrs: Woke up trying to recall the dreams without any luck again.
Made a brew, carried out the Health Checks and took the medications.
Later, I hope to see someone to help me with contacting the 3 company, either Warden Obergefreiteress Julie or Wardeness Obergruppenfurheress Deana, to ring them for me again! It’s been four months and four payment demands from them in a row from them since I changed banks. Despite being told I want to end the contract, they still command amounts of their money.
in the beautiful weather to find it empty.
Obergruppenfurheress Deana was in and assisting another tenant with something.
Made my way to the bus stop, in the warm sunshine.
Towering over me high up above, the blackberries that had not been got at yet.
On the bus and as it got to Bestwood, part of the ‘Diversion Route’ due to the roadworks, we came to a halt.
The entrance door mechanicals or electrics were playing up again and only opening a few inches.
So, I had to eat nearly all of the bag of purple chips with the meal. I threw some away.
