04:30hrs: I woke wanting a wee-wee, passed it, and had to go to the
. A smidgen messy, but no pain and no hæmatorrhœa.
I cleaned up but had already made plans for the day while seated on the throne. I shall get the
sorted out as soon as I’ve finished doing the Health Checks, and then I’ll get the medicationalisationings done. Owzat then? Me making plans, blimey!
Off to the computer. No tea, no biscuits, no depression, no, and I do believe I may have been humming the Shadows Stars fell on Stockton tune to myself!
Not the result I was hoping for; a rather high Hypertension – Two, close to the (Call 999) stage Three. I blame
and all his extra long all day, and noisier-than-ever bursts of clangs, clanks, Tap-tapping, knocking and drilling yesterday for this! Thanks mate!
I did some Pinteresting when I’d done the Health Checks and updated the Thursday blog. I seemed to be doing well this morning the
were not playing me up too much – but that was a silly thing for me to say; they can go offline in an instant, and the brain no longer understands the broken messages, and anything can happen then! Wish I’d keep me gob-shut!
The computer was put into sleep mode and off to get them
done. I’d taken the camera in with me and took a snap of the legs after I’d stripped off; the one on the right is after the session was completed… And I’d heroically, bravely, boldly and stupidly used you-know-who to get the long diabetic socks on. Yes, I’d utilised the mocking, fearsome, finger bruising, cutting and ripping green goddess known as
! And came out of the battle with only a squashed
! And a rather large
was gone into!

The shaving produced only two tiny nicks on the neck. Teggie cleaning did go badly, though. Another lump had detached itself from the left bicuspid and double molar; the blood flowed, and that took me some time to stop. Thus,
started! This is because of the Warfarin INR level is high, at 4.4. (3.5 is the target) That’s why the DVT clinic has reduced the dosage again.
Germolened, Germoloided, and oiled the ear holes. And guess what?
,
That ignorant slobbovitch from the flat up above kicked off with his banging and knocking again!
I’d had enough to contend with yesterday, over 12 hours of it, and just had to bounce back some similar noises to inform him of the danger he was in.
They were tap-tappings, and I hit the
top of the high bookcase with Metal Mickeys’ plastic handle on the hard wooden shelves. Trying to imitate the same amount of bangs (18), I counted.
This did no good, and a few minutes later, they kicked off again. Louder this time, I could clearly hear them without my hearing aids in.
I returned a volley of bangs around the top of the bookcase cabinet, and I kept it up for a few moments. And waited, stick in hand, for the reply… There were many more taps and bangs, but they were all a lot quieter, so fair enough. They stopped after a few minutes. He’s probably going out to see his favourite youngsters with his pressies? I’m dreading the self-centred, impolite, insensitive, disrespectful, snobbish, haughty, pompous, pretentious, uppity, scoffing, contumelious, smart-alecky, ineffable crud-nut coming back.
Got carried away there, sorry…

Was beginning to get a smidgen worse as I exited the wet room – Smelling all nice and fresh, the smell of the medications wafting up my nose. I went into the junk room to select the day clothes… and…
! As I was reaching at full tilt to get the jumper from the clothes racking,
presented me with one heck of an
. Short & sharp, but it had over, and I fell into the clothes and slid gently to the floor!
Breaking a few clothes hangers in the process and landing on the right knee, which did not please
.
The hobble on my hands and knees out into the hallway, into the front room, and the struggle to get myself upright using the weight of the recliner took a long time, but I did it. How things were going, a

I was not hurting, apart from
. But that was nothing to do with the tumble.
I soon recovered, and I made my way to the kitchenette to get the kettle on to make a brew of Glengettie.

The red line on the horizon caught my attention, and I went for the Lumix camera. It was misty, so not the best of conditions, but it still looked good to me.
Then I took a shot of the bottom field with the frost still not melted. There were many seagulls about circling and threatening, zooming low. Had they seen a rat, cat or lone dog that they often make a meal of? I missed them all in the photo but caught some a few minutes later.
Took a photo of the drug-dealers house street. You can see which it is by the lack of frost and snow on the roof; no doubt they are growing cannabis or whatever in the loft, hence it being the only house with the attic being heated?
Took another shot of the horizon.
Then one of the Winwood Heights car parking on Chestnut way. Oh... I caught some of the seagulls on their breakfast safari in this one. Hehehe!

I made up some waste bags. The nice gentleman in the flat above me offered some accompaniment for me.
This time the tap-tapping was almost musical? The uncommunicative: laconic, taciturn, aloof, Laodicean, reticent, stoical, unruffled, equanimous, unclubbable, unforthcoming, stand-offish, unapproachable, haughty chap, was producing some good stuff, I thought.
A piacere, which, considering he was only using what sounded like a sledgehammer and mallet (Maybe a nail hammer as well), was pretty impressive. I was just getting into it, and he stopped.
I must go on the web to try to find some cartoons to use over the next few days. I may have to stop suddenly. For I have the Amazon deliveries that are due today, and they are currently (0335hrs) being given an ETA of twixt 03:40 > 0640hrs. Which possibly means it will be here by 22:00hrs or tomorrow.
Weary, tired, computer off.
Woke me up. Issued Peptac, checked taps and stove. Had a mini-natter. Took bags And amazon boxes with her.

Woke up by the kind, caring, sympathetic noisy Git-in-the-flat-above, Herbert. Knock, knocking for a while.
Woke me up. Meds issued. Mini natter enjoyed.

21:45hrs: Woke up to some strange different noises from the Management protected and defended, unneighbourly, superior-natured Gentleman in the flat above. Not sure what caused them, a sort of chugging sound?

22:10hrs: Ah, that’s better, back to his regulation mode of tap-tapping, with the odd clunk thrown in for good measure.
I kept trying to fall asleep again but ended up turning on the TV. Ah, that did it! Zzz!
01:30hrs: With a jerk, jump and shock! Not the foggiest idea what had caused this rude awakening? but it buggered me up, and I spent the next four hours or so desperately trying to get back to sleep – No chance until about 05:00hrs. Off into bliss!
05:20hrs: I more or less erupted into wakefulness.
I was half over the edge of the cushion on the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, incommodious, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner.
For this, I blame the nightmare I was having, the slippery materialed new dressing gown I had on… and I might as well blame
as well. Oh, and myself, I suppose!.
Although,
is yet another possible (definite) reason for my poorlier than it should be, health. Nicknamed Herbert’s real name is John, I think, the protected from criticism, imperviable to criticism, animadversion or condemnations. A superior acting gentleman, urchin. An untouchable, pompous, arrogant elitist!. He’s not a nice person to those he’s making life a misery for with his constant everyday noise-making. Made invulnerable and defended by those in control of the Independent Living Organisation. I pray I do not meet him face to face ever again… I’ve never ever lost control physically… yet! Doing so could well see me off – but he is seeing me off slowly with his grinding, tap-tapping, drillings and knockings every single day! Such a supercilious sod.

blog, and I decided to make a mug of Glengettie tea and dunk some of the Biscoff caramelised biscuits. Take a break, you know?
Hi-Ho, it’s off to the wet room I go, then…
Got the saving started; I used the four-bladed razors, thinking it would be quicker.
solved the issue!
The leg’s DVT spider and saphenous vein look rather artistic this morning. They were bulging or swollen with it today, though
.
Virulent? I’ll check to see if that’s the right word.
08:30hrs:
For some reason, possibly induced and prompted by
Well, would you believe it?
Warmed two part-baked bread rolls in the oven, and I cooked a microwave oven- ready-meal in the microwave. No problems with the timing, and they were both ready at the same time (9-minutes).
My musing moved on to the Hospital appointments and the genuine fear of the Cataract operation, and the first Memory and Mentally-Affected assessments at the Nuthall Hospital will arrive on the same day. what are the odds of that? Not as high as you would think, knowing my luck.
As I started to get deep into the quagmire of self-pity and self-hating, the

the door. And they were super-duper tasty! She even skipped in a Cadbury creme egg for me. Hahaha!

A smothering of Germolene in place was tried. Totally-ineffective. I dare not use what bit of Daktacort that was left in the tube, so threw it away.
was all I needed this time.
I got the computer on, and many comments on my blogs were received. It was from Bill, so I answered him. Off to make a mug of Thompson’s Punjana, and I took this morning shot of the view from the kitchen window. Not exactly awe-inspiring, is it?
I went back to the computer and checked the Emails.
Not good, is it? Still, I can give away the Tikka substitute; Deana might like them. The tomatoes should be okay. It’s funny how they always send dearer than the original substitutions.

Ah, my treats to myself here! Vegetarian shepherd’s pie, roast potatoes, veggie pasta, and sliced potatoes (well, it cuts back on chopped fingers!). Seasoned fresh cut chips as well… Oh, and a new one to me, Silky Butternut Squash
Risotto; no idea what it will taste like, but without trying it, I’ll never know. Did you see that? Words of Wisdom… from me! Hehehe! Beefburgers and pot noodles for Carer Richard. Some individually portioned sticky rice pots and substituted No Chicken Tikka Masala with rice. I tried the one I ordered cause
I knew I was okay with sweet & sour sauce. But I’ve tried Tikka before and did not like it. Are J Sainsbury staff told to select lousy substitutions on purpose? Is not sweet & Sour Chinese? And Tikka Indian?
Queen. So, say no more. At least Morrison’s managed to deliver my favourite ready meal of all time. Roast Vegetable Risotto. It’s cracking tasty! I always put just a drop of BBQ sauce with it. And the packet of mushroom risotto I had yesterday, I
think it was, was grand.
Where was I?
I put the flowers on the trolley, ready for when Deana or Julie, or both, came to see me about the lift for Friday.
The foods were both nearly ready. I made up a pot of Idaho instant mash with bubble & squeak, adding some extra-strong grated cheese and a quirt of my made-up to the bottle of liquid salt & distilled vinegar to the pot. Added a mini-pot of lemon mousse to the tray and got into the recliner to feast!

I evacuated the remaining few drops of urine from Bladder-Belinda. Stripped off and had a good clean-up. Germoloided Harold’s Haemorrhoids,
Phorpain gel, rubbed into my back as best that I could get at. Surprisingly, the toe stinging started to ease off?
Got some fresh PPs on, the Depend brand that had coped admirably well with Bladder-Belinda’s earlier escaping mini-torrent.
Of course, now I had to rely on
MORNING ALL!

02:05hrs: Sweet Morpheus shook me awake with more than the usual jump and jerk used. No need for that, even if I did need a wee-wee! I forced myself free of the clutches of the second-hand, £300, charity shop-bought, gungy beige coloured, rickety, c1968 recliner, stood up, caught my balance, and took the few steps to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket)
I took a snap of the morning view from the kitchen window. I’m having to use the Fuli camera, as the Lumix is having its battery recharged. I wish someone could do that with mine; hehehe! Not pleased with this picture at all and the BP photo was taken, but later on, was about as bad. Humph!
Got the Computer booted; to get the odeing and Cartoon done. Then, of course, changed my plan as I realised I had not yet finished yesterday’s blog.
was a smidgeon low at 32.5°f.
one this time! I’d gone into the kitchen to sort out a meal and just opted to have sliced potatoes and roast-vegetable risotto Ready-Made meal and got the required foods out of the fridge; as I turned to take them to the counter, Peripheral Pete gave me an energetic right leg dance – it was only a 30-second twirl, but with the food in my hands, I didn’t get the stick in time. Clunk thud, I landed right on the offending knee!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Hehe! And, in the wee-weeing – the action was the word! After getting to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket), things started straight away this time! FPB (Forceful-Painful-Blasting) marathon of a wee-wee flowed out as if from a fireman’s hose pipe!
I’m not feeling too bad now, can take them myself and avoid having to ring about them. I thought I’d give them some more time, so went to get a cold drink from the fridge and took this snap, with the battery charges Lumix, of the sun going down…
Feeling betterer now. I’ve got over the tumble and clanger over what the time was when I woke up last.
Evening all!

Well, Tsk!

Warden & Skiing Champion Deana called. To tell me the changed confirmed dates and times of the Doctor’s appointments.
Well, I put in the analyser… Oh, dearie me!
Got some chips and veggie burgers into the oven. Going to have tomatoes, and the fresh raw garden was with it.
Dementia Doreen in their head. Tsk!
I made up the somewhat larger than planned meal, got it on the tray, but could not resist eating some of the fresh raw pod peas before taking it through to the front room.
imagine?
I washed things up and returned to the second-hand, £300, c1968, overwhelmingly-sickeningly beige coloured, tatty, uncomfortable, wobbly-recliner. Then walloped and rubbed in a lot of my Phorpain gel. The knee pain was still bad, although it was getting less blotchy and coloured all the time.
To help me sleep; if Sweet Morpheus allows me to… less pain should mean fewer waking-ups.
Hehehe! I’m sorry I bothered you now. All the
I’ve just two pairs of the not-so-effective Morrisons PPs left.
These Depend Comfort type Protection Pants are not as thick as the chunky show-through your trousers Morrison ones.

06:30: Up later than planned, hoping the J Sainsbury order, which was due twixt 06:00 > 20:00hrs, had not been, and I’d not heard them. I meandered wobbly into the kitchenette and took these photos of the view.

American-made Nappies… I mean Protection Pants, left! I had the best of them all, the Tena, but they are not suitable for going out in, they are so bulky, they show through the trousers, but ace at coping with any leakages! So, I ordered some of the American Depend ones from Amazon. Sod the cost, I got a multipack to last me for a month at least. Likely even longer cause, as I say, the Depend ones are not used other than when someone is visiting, or I go to the hospital or as it happens tomorrow to the Doctors. Not a lot of people can say that! Hehehe! Got the ablutions sorted out.
J Sainbury sent me an email about the order due today.

Sister Jane rang, and we had a good long natter and gossip.
I will get my feet up to eat the meal and hopefully fall asleep. Well, I hope so, at least. Got the potatoes in the oven and chilli in the pan.
I got an email from Sainsbury’s. So it looks like the code through the post was genuine… at least I hope it was.
Sliced p[otatoes and veg-chilli out of a can this time. But still tasty; in fact, the chilli was a little hot for my tastes, but the more I ate of it, the less hot it seemed to get? Flavour rating: 6.5/10.
I went to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana, and the sunset was worth photographing.
yet… I’ll get the Blood Pressure done now; save time in the morning! Does that make sense? I booted up the Boot’s Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong,

think I heard Valerie saying, “That’s alright, don’t worry, I’ll wait here…”
Back on the computer getting the blog start prepped for an hour or so, and out burst ♫ Oh, Susana ♫. It was the Iceland delivery. When I got the door open, the bags had been left handily for me to gag them in. Fair do’s to the lad, when he saw my stick and me limping, (stubbed toe the cause) he asked it I wanted him o put them through the door for me. But the lad had kept the good all neat, and I could see nothing crushed or any leaks, and he arrived on time and thought I’d best not delay him after he’s made the effort, so I replied, “No thanks, I can get them in one at a time, cheers!”
increases in the cost of the G&T’s etc., I thought I’d tempt them with the Heineken lager instead.
I’d only got two frozen items ordered. One pot of my favourite No-Moo ice cream and some No-Meat mushroom steaks to try. They were not cheap. I had to take them
out of the box to get them into the fridge, and that the box they came in; could have been half the size it was, and there would still have been room in it for the miniature-sized diddly mushroom steaks. I just hope that they are tasty enough to be worth it!
I assembled all the rubbish and mess that I’d made during the food delivery and the sorting it out.
I got to the. I got into the lift lobby to go to the waste chute room at the far end, and I swear it was louder than ever.
I got back in the flat and had a wee-wee; I’ve not mentioned them yet, but they were regular if short ones.
Got the new spuds in the saucepan. Then quartered some large mushrooms, seasoned them and got them going in the crock pot
The meal on the tray balanced dangerously on the folds on my stomach flab. Everything on display looked divinely appealing. Apart from the first time tried, No-Lamb lamb steaks had been tried before, and nothing let me down. The expensive No-Lamb Lamb steaks were okay. But not worth the money. They were not as good as the No-Meat Burgers I usually have. But Iceland doesn’t even have them on the list for sale now; I hope they get some more in soon. Humph! Anyway, I gave this pone a Taste-Rating of 9.2/10!
