Inchcock Today – Saturday 16th September 2017: Not the best of days. Tsk!

6Sat001

Saturday 16th September 2017

0430hrs: Stirred rather grudgingly into life. Reluctantly, because I knew the incisor would give me pain, trouble and grief as soon as the tongue touched it. It did not let me down! Huh! Argh! However, I was well pleased with the much-needed essential sleep I did get in, despite a few wakenings overnight, when I must have caught the tooth with my tongue, and the resulting twinge of pain woke me up. I decided there, and then, soup might be the best option for my fodder today and tomorrow, or until I can get to see the dentist?

As I dismounted the £300 second-hand (But not shuddering this morning?) recliner, I sneezed, and the whole head was affected with the resulting pain from the tooth area. Tsk!

All of my regular attendee pains twinges and ailments seemed to be with me. Arthur Itis, Duodenal Donald, Hilda Hips, Roger Reflux, Anne Gyna, Trotsky Terence, even Hernia Harold was giving me some gip this morning. The winners today as of now were Incisor Suzie (The painful tooth – Christened last night, Hehe!) and Hilda Hip. Between them, I think they actually helped the situation. One can only concentrate on so many pains at one time. Haha!

As I hobbled to the Porcelain Throne, Dizzy Dennis joined in the attack. And as for Trotsky Terence, I think he’d done a runner. In fact, there was no evacuation at all, apart from a lot of extreme wind. It all confuses me?

Tooth

Incisor Suzie: Not a pleasant sight!

I came out of the wet room and into the kitchen to sort the Health Checks.

But had to get back to the Throne as quickly as I could when things started to move.

At least, I thought they did.

Again, a ‘Nothing happening’ session on the seat. Other than the escaping gases.

Back to the kitchen and started the Health Checks. Put the kettle on to make a mug of tea.

Sys 162, Dia 71, Pulse 84, Temp 35.8, Weight 14.91. A few more sneezes? No other signs of any cold, though?

6Sat04I made the brew and intentionally left it to cool while I got the medications ready.

Did the graphics prep work for this post, then update yesterday’s and got it posted. Making aright Whoopsiedangleplop of it by putting the wrong dates on it. Humph!

Had to re-edit it twice. What a clot!

Took these photographs of outside. Th first one of my beloved Tree Copse to the right. The second one, I got the camera strap around my wrist and hung out of the open window to take it and catch the balcony for a keepsake, cause they will soon be gone in the upgrading work. That’s the plan, but of course, there is nothing happening building-wise at the moment, and a lingering doubt lingers. Hehe!) Came back in and banged my head on the window frame.

6Sat06

While in the kitchen, I decided to get the fodder ready for later. Incisor Suzie’s delicate situation, forcing me to have something I can eat that has the least chance of catching the painful Incisor Suzie. So, I got some mushrooms in Soy Sauce in the Croc-Pot, to be sliced into tiny pieces when cooked, and a tin of Mulligatawny Soup in the saucepan and added some sliced mini tomatoes, and tomato passata mixed into it. Then, hopefully, when I eat it, I can soak the bread making it as soft as possible to dip in it, thus not bothering or even touching the tooth as much as I can.

6Sat05

Checked the Emails, and made the replies and likes, on WordPress.

Started this diary properly.

Made another mug of tea. While waiting for the water to boil, I thought I’d have a go at removing the plastic top off of the Soy Sauce bottle with the other waiting to go to the recycling bin bottles and jars.

6Sat07

Using a knife to get it off, cause it would not screw off… and well, as you see, another Accifauxpa! Tsk!

Ailments

1000hrs: Began the creation of a graphic on CorelDraw, for another humorous post, one about the current ailments.

I finally got it completed at 1225hrs!

Did much Facebooking, then Dizzy Dennis called on me again. So I’ve cancelled the walk in the park for today. Huh!

Got the nosh, well, soup ready. Not very successful noshing, though.

The mushrooms had to be thrown away, too tough and I kept catching Incisor Suzie. I didn’t like that at all. Hehe!

The bread, even soaked in the soup was also too much to handle. The banana was ripe enough to almost suck, so that went down, as did the Lemon Curd Mousse.

At least the weight should have gone down by the morning’s Health Checks. And I did not have any nocturnal nibbles, naturally.

I drank a lot of orange juice, repeatedly hobbling into the kitchen to top up the large mug I’d emptied?

This picture I took while doing the  topping-up.

Got a DVD on to watch, and managed evera episodes of ‘Hustle’ before another Porelain Throne session was needed.

Resettled again, I proceeded to let loose an amighty sneeze, hurt the tooth, ricked the neck, startd the boil on the bum off, swore and passd wind.

This said everything, really. Haha!

Inchcock Today: Saturday/Sunday 9th/10th September 2017: I hate weekends, especially those like this one!

Saturday 9th September 2017

0330hrs: Woke up with a start – Fumbled about struggling to get out of the £300 second-hand recliner and to the wet room for a wee-wee. The stomach bloated and rumbling again, but no call to the Porcelain Throne yet. Had a rather painful wee-wee, no idea why, but it flowed stingingly and reluctantly? As I awaited the flow, my mind went a little short independently psittaceous journey, with its rambling thoughts about myself and life, about this, that and many ponderings of unknown origin. So much so, I welcomed the pain when it came, for it returned my brain to its usual confused, befuddled state, and stopped the sudden rambling off into trying to be clever and understand things.

Did the Health Checks: Sys 160, Dia 71, Pulse 84, Temp 33.3 and Weight (Not good at all this) 14.98, Oh dear!

Ah, time for the Trotsky Terence inspired visitation to the Throne. Messy still, perhaps a bit worse than last night. Took another Morrison’s Acute Diarrhorea Capsule. I added one to the evening medication pot as well. The stomach was still distended and rumbling a bit.

The rain started again, and the high winds continued, as soon as I had taken this photographicalisation on the left here. This was an attempt at getting a panoramic shot with the Lumix camera. For some reason, I keep failing to record all that I scanned over every time I try to do this. Shaking Shaun was making it hard not to tremble when taking photographs. So I decided to get the old Sony camera on charge and try later with that one, which had an easier grip on it.

I got the leads in and thought I recalled there being a light come on when this is in charge mode. But there was no light showing anywhere?

Eventually, my brain realised that the Nikon charging leads were attached to the power, and not the Sony one. I did feel a fool! And hoped I had not damaged anything by making this Whoopsiedangleplop. Crossed fingered I found the right charger and connected it, and the red light appeared. Phew! Left it charging up.

Made a start on updating yesterdays diary. With having taken so many pictures, this took me many hours to get sorted and done. Until 1000hrs!

Back to the Throne for another messy session.

Made another mug of tea and took the midday medications and did the Health Checks.

Then, I got the vegetables cooking to have with the beef pie later. Added balsamic vinegar and Polish seasoning.

Please note, there is no blood on the chopping board today. Hehe!

As I took a photograph of the vegetables, I spotted one of the quartered mushrooms and thought how much it looked like a face. But by the time I got the photo on here, I couldn’t see what I did before? Odd that!

Back on the computer and started the Emails and WordPress reading. This took me until 1230hrs.

Began this diary page, and once more, had to visit the Porcelain Throne. The WC needed a lot of cleaning again, after the session. Humph!

Turned to Facebooking.

1445hrs: Got the pie, chestnuts and tomatoes in the oven.

Health Checks etc. Porcelain Throne visit – feeling a bit weak now. Hehe!

Meal sorted and served up.

Beef pie, boiled spud, carrots, parsnips, red onions, orange peppers and mushrooms cooked with some balsamic vinegar, beef gravy, tomatoes and sliced apple.

I had a pot of lemon mousse to follow.

Struggling a bit with Craig Cramps and Shaking Steven paying me a visit. Had to be careful doing the pots.

Got the TV on and finished off the Lemon Curd ice-cream. The only thing that was not perfect in eating this was the cramps made eating it a little embarrassing.

Nodded off, I’m sure I had many dreams, but cannot recall any details, just a feeling one of them was a battlefield in deep freezing snow.

Had to get up for a Trotsy Terence inspired a visit to the Porcelain Throne. (Getting fed-up of these sessions now, Hehe!).

The camera had charged up, and as I made a mug of tea to take a Diarrhorea Donald calming capsule, the skyline was very colourful and beautiful, and I took a shot of it.

It came out nothing like the view my eyes saw. A bit disappointed with it actually. Mind you, I did struggle to keep the hands and fingers steady.

Back in the £300 second-hand recliner and tried to get to sleep – if I’d wanted to watch TV or a DVD, I’d have fallen asleep, but because I wanted and needed sleep, of course, I had to turn on the TV in the hopes of achieving my mission to at least snooze. Humph!

Sunday 10th September 2017

0340hrs: I woke and found myself in the right grumpy and pessimistic mood, without any reason particularly. Fair enough: I hate weekends when I cannot get out on the bus. I despise not being able to do the cleaning, the stomach well swollen and painful. Trotsky Terence is still with me, Hippy Hilda and Duodenal Donald all giving me bother at the same time... but this is not unusual, or out of the ordinary, exceptional, remarkable, extraordinary, unexpected nor, surprising. So, why have I woken with instant gloom? And with an unpleasant olfactory sense in my nose. I seemed to have B.O., smells from Trotsky Terence and the feet all around me? Very confusing.

Afer laying there for a few minutes trying to work out what has caused this recession in confidence and contentment, I had to dismount the £300 second-hand recliner to have a wee-wee. Even that was painful, maybe a touch of a urinary tract infection. Maybe this is connected to the swollen stomach I have had for a few days?

Somehow this did not bother or worry me, just annoyed me?

Got the kettle on and made a cuppa, took the Health Checks and medications, remembering to take a Diarrhorea Capsule.

Reflux Roger joined in with the other ailments. Tsk! Sys152, Dia 69, Pulse 76, Temp 35.9 and weight the highest ever in my life at 15.00. This did not help my melancholia.

I took the now almost daily photograph out of the kitchen window of the scene below, with the old camera. I struggled to keep the camera steady again, and the colours were nothing like those I saw with my eyes.

Back into the recliner room and signs of nocturnal nibbling were discovered.

I glanced around at the mess the room was in.

All the paperwork is waiting to be sorted, the windows needed cleaning, wood polishing, DVDs left scattered around, floor Hoov… I had to stop myself thinking about things I cannot do at the moment, and got the computer on to update this diary and get the photographicalisations downloaded and resized.

I could sense the building up and brewings, of Trotsky Terence’s doings, but still no movement?

I was genuinely a bit worried about how things were this morning, and my emotions and lack of confidence in my abilities to cope came to the fore. Surprisingly while stewing over this dilemma, all my failures, mistakes and wrong decisions flooding into the already I believe delicate, brain. I do not know why I am recording this, sorry. I will try not to mention the negatives in future unless there are any humorous sides to go with them.

Checked the Emails.

WordPress reading was done.

Off to the Porcelain Throne. The messy and long session left me with a feeling of lassitude.

Back onto the computer and had a Facebooking sitting.

Onto CorelDraw to try and make progress with the latest TFZ series graphics. Finally got them all finished and posted off to the TFZer site and onto Facebook. Here are some of them.

Pleased with myself for finally getting them finished, I celebrated by doing the ablutions and having a walk out through the Tree Copse and park.

Inside the Copse, it was getting a little threadbare foilage-wise compared to last weeks visit, but it was still beautiful in there to me.

As I got to the top and looked back at the flats, I was amazed to see the living room window two floors above mine, was wide open?

I zoomed in and took this picture.

Why anyone would leave their window open in the gale that was blowing, I don’t know?

I hobble through the trees and to the top and right by the varmints playground, through the trees and down to the back of the flats.

Back in, and feeling rather much better than I did earlier, I set about getting the fodder prepared. Beef slice, tinned garden peas, beetroot, chestnuts and some ‘Special’ Inchcock Potatoes.

These were boiled slowly until over cooked a tad, then mashed up, skin and all with some strong cheddar cheese and a drop of vinegar, then into the oven to brown and crisp them off, with halved tomatoes on the top. Too much perhaps, but very nice indeed, rating this effort as a 9.2/10.

Did the washing up and settled down to watch some ‘Hustle’ DVD.

Soon nodded off.

Inchcock Today – Friday 8th September 2017: Accifauxpa, Whoopsiedangleplop, Depression and Trotsky Trouble. Still, it keeps me busy. Huh!

Moral? Get Elected to Parliament and Fiddle Expenses?

Friday 8th September 2017

0235hrs: Rain and both types of wind greeted me when I sprang wide awake. Wind outside and from the rear quarters; Which prompted me to disentangle myself from the £300 second-hand recliner, and stub my toe as I hastily made my way to the Porcelain Throne.

Trotsky Terence made the session another messy one. Cleaned things up and into the kitchen. Took the medications with an extra ADR capsule.

Health Checks: Sys 160, Dia 71, Pulse 84, Temp 33.3 and, oh dear, Weight 14.9 Sob!

Back to the Throne, Humph!

Got the vegetables for the lamb meal prepared in the Crock-Pot with water and lamb gravy to season them a bit. Parsnips, mushrooms, orange peppers, carrots, red onions and leeks.

Bit of an Accifauxpa with the knife, Fool!

Made a mug of tea and got the computer on and updated yesterday’s post and did some graphicalisationing to use later.

0500hrs: Did the Email checks and WordPress reading. Then Facebooked for a while.

The stomach started to bloat even more, and the noises from within were gurgling away. Hehe!

Spent an hour doing more work on the next TFZer series.

5Fri020825hrs: Ablutions tended to.

0916hrs: Readied things and set off out to the bus stop.

A few other tenants met in the foyer, and an exodus of those residents took place, with me bringing up the rear. Hehe!

The rain had stopped altogether now, and we made our way to the end of the road and the bus stop.

We were joined by many others, from the Winchester Court Flats. I should think, there were 16 of us loitering, laughing and chattering away. The lady from Briarwood Home was passing and came over to tell me she had gained nearly two pounds in weight. I told her how proud I was of her because I was.

Had a go at the crosswords en route, and dropped off at the terminus on Queen Street.

I had a hobble around all sides of the Council House. On South Parade I noticed the new (Yet another) Burger King eatery had a sign telling us that they had 140 seats upstairs. I couldn’t count those on the ground floor, but there seemed to be the same amount there, so 280 seats. Oddly, I only 5 of them being used by customers as I passed by the place.

I limped down Exchange Walk, to find the new (I think during the day in town I must have walked by eight McDonalds), and this one claimed to have 240 seats available.

They had 12 customers in view.

There are more eateries and Charity Shops than retailers in some areas of the City nowadays.

I called into the M & S food hall in their basement and had a wander around. Didn’t buy anything, just had a nosey. Despite there being a lot of tempting tasty foods on offer, I resisted. (Smug mode adopted)

I exited the store and wandered around ST Peter’s Church area. The old cafe on Hounds Gate that closed two years ago, still lay empty. But I saw that the Estate Agents had put up a new To Let board, in a vain hope of tempting some sucker to try their luck and fail in retailing?

The Nottingham Pavement Cyclist came into view as a bonus. Haha!

I nipped up to the Audiology Clinic to check the date for the hearing test (The reason I was in town) and managed the hill without too much hassle.

The same two ‘Don’t-disturb-our-conversation’ Obergefreiteress receptionists were on duty as on my last visit. And still gossiping away with each other again as they pretended to deal with the patients. I got to the counter of the other lady this time to be given the disdain, derision and scorn that emitted from her expression and vocal-comments, in a far more hostile and practised manner than from those that the other girl offered last week. Obviously, she was the more experienced ‘Put-Downer’ of the two. She had vitiated my day within seconds of her first comment. A true professional disparager, with a smooth, natural tristifical approach to the elderly patients, that the NHS needs to keep the old varmints away and save money! Might I vote for her as ‘The Most Valuable Asset within the NHS’ poll in the newspaper?

Down the hill and called at the Sainsbury Shop and got some flatbread and a bottle of Spring Water.

Round the corner and into the Slab Square. Where the removal of the Nottingham Beach and the entertainment rides and stalls was still going on.

A rare sight at the corner of the Council House, two PCSO’s (Police Community Support Officers). They have had their number cut by 40% as part of the Government cost cutting.

The real star of this shot was the little girl hanging onto her Mother’s hand. As soon as she saw me with the camera up to my eye, the biggest most appealing smile came over her face. Lovely, An entertainer in the making.

As I made my way to the bus stop, this Herbert of a Nottingham Pavement Cyclist on Long Row, weaved his way speedily and dangerously I thought, through the pedestrians, coming far too close to them for comfort. He had a box on his back with UBER written on it. I assumed he was a food delivery chap?

I was well early at the bus stop, so I walked up around the corner and had a wander down the narrow Norfolk Place.

This alleyway always reminds me of America, due to the AC units outside of the windows.

I investigated this building closer and found that in the photograph, is nine student flats.

When I got home, I looked on the web out of interest and found: They cost from £135 (Flat nine single room) to £160 to £200 a week: The higher being for the same room but double occupancy.

Modern kitchen, Shower & WC, High-Speed Internet, Study desk & chair, Shelves, Double bed, Television flat screen HD, Full insulation, Large sofa, Electric cookers, Fridge/freezer, Microwave oven, Shared Laundry Room, Includes Freeview, Water, the Internet, Contents insurance, CCTV.
Electricity: £12. I wonder if the owners take over 70’s in, who are studying survival? Hehe!

Back to the bus stop and caught one home.

Off the bus at the apartments and into the flat ASAP and enjoyed a Porcelain Throne visit for 15 minutes! That was three minutes activities and 12 minutes cleaning up afterwards. Humph!

Got the lamb cooking, other stuff was already in the Crock-Pot.

The wind outside was getting up rather violently, so that gave me an excuse not to clean the dirty kitchen windows again. Tsk!

Fatigue fell on me, as is usual lately in the afternoons.

A rinse and into the jammies, Health Checks and medications were taken – then back to the Porcelain Throne, but it turned out to be a false alarm, just wind from the bloated innards.

Got the nosh sorted and presented on the tray.

This was not a good result at all. In fact, a bad one all round, one of my worst for yonks and yonks. Humph!

The lamb while looking well shriven, was smelling very nice, was not very hot at all, the sauce seemed curdled? I tried adding some Bisto lamb gravy stock to it but realised too late I had used Bisto Pork gravy stock. The vegetables were alright, mind. I ate it all the same but felt that I shouldn’t have after, as the bloated stomach got more and more distended and painful.

Trotsky Terence demanded a return to the Throne and got one. Messy once again and took a lot of sorting and cleaning when over with.

However, I did feel much easier after the session and treated myself to some of the Morrison’s Lemon curd Ice-Cream.

Within seconds of enjoying this, it was back to the Porcelain Throne! I was aware of how lucky I had been that Trotsky didn’t attack while I was out and about!

Took another of the capsules and an extra painkiller.

Slowly the innards seemed to settle, and I got down in the £300 second-hand recliner, and watched three Hustle DVD episodes, without falling asleep, too!

Got up for a wee-wee, and realised I’d left the hot water tap running.

Despondency came over me. Genuine real few ennui minutes. So much so, that when I got settled again and turned off the TV and DVD, sleep would not come, for the brain was racing. Trundling along of its own accord, self-recriminations, loathing… the failures, inabilities even loneliness… I was a mental wreck for a while.

Now I know I am a lucky person because I was not coping with these emotions well at all – when the innards winds blasted out, and another rush to the wet room was needed, it helped.

Even I had to laugh (between curses, Hehe!) when I stubbed my toe again en route, on the same flipping bucket, the bucket that everytime I stub the tootsie on, I swear to move, and don’t! I’ve now moved it! The session was mostly wind, but still needed a bit of cleaning up afterwards again. All this seemed to help me forget the blues and depression, and I limped back to the chair and got down, the world was a different place.

Wierd or what?

Thursday 7th September 2017 – Social Hour Day-Medication Whoopsiedangleplop, to the delight of Trotsky Terence. Humph!

Hehehe!

Thursday 7th September 2017

0335hrs: Woke in the £300 second-hand recliner with the stomach rumbling away. Sure that I dreamt earlier something about my being inside a body, and trying to wash off graffiti from the Sigmoid Colon innards. (Where did I get this name from, is it real or did I make it up in the dream?) I was wearing a butchers apron as I used too many years ago when working at the Nottingham Cooperative Society as Greenfruit and Wetfish shop manager? This was the first time in weeks I think that I recalled actual parts of a nightmare.

My innards put an end to by pondering over my hey-days as the rumblings turned violent and I hastily struggled out of the chair and to the wet room and much-needed Porcelain Throne. Where the almost burning pains were alleviated as I painfully and messily evacuated the contents and had a good clean-up. I fear my thinking is becoming dereistic?

Into the kitchen and did the Health Checks, made a brew in the new second-hand mug and shuddered at the weight I had gained overnight, and this just after a heavy Porcelain Throne exodus, too! Tsk!
I took a Loperamide Hydrochloride capsule, to try and counterbalance the return of the dreaded Trotsky Terence!

Sys 158, Dia 63, Pulse 76, Temp 35.8 and the tonnage (Hehe!) at 14.97!

Buying the silly mug yesterday, I am sure, is a sign of my becoming an oniomania sufferer, (CBD) and think I may have to mention it to someone in the know?

Back to get the computer going, and signs of overnight nibbles were found. Guilt and self-reproach had to be repelled!

Started this post going up to here, and then begun to finish off yesterdays when a second call to the Porcelain Throne arrived.

And what an unpleasant affair this one was again. Luckily I had the pen and crossword book stored in the wet room for such occasions. Any tips? Hehehe!

Back to the diary updating. With a couple of visits to the Porcelain Throne interrupting the proceedings. Then… recognition of a Calamitus Whoopsiedangleplop made earlier!

Then… recognition of a Calamitus Whoopsiedangleplop made earlier!

Muggings here had taken a Senna tablet in error for a Diah-Limit one! This could be interesting. Oh, dearie me!

I got the pod peas and orange peppers into the Crock-Pot with some brown sugar to the marinade, them to use later.

Realised I’d forgotten the mushrooms and sliced a few and added them afterwards.

Finally got the Wednesday diary done and posted off. Then checked the Emails and responded to them and WordPress.

A little time left before I had to get the things ready for the Winwood Tenants Social Hour, so I had a go on Facebook.

Onto the ablutionisationing session. Far fewer cuts shaving today, Trotsky Terence intervened once, teggies, medicationalisationing of certain quarters, got the new trousers on and took the rubbish bags to the chute.

Collected the bag of raffle prizes and nibbles and set out for the Winwood shed.

No folks or workmen in sight as I took a slow amble down to the shed. Taking two photographicalisations of flowers on the grass verge that were near the bus stop.

Nature is marvellous, it is just a shame it took me all these years to get around to appreciate it more.

Just one berry left on this giant bush, looking so lonely with the others dying around him. This yellow flower was the only one of the hundreds around that did not have a centre pattern?

Into the hut, there were a few more residents here this week compared to last. They demolished the nibbles in short order, many taking two, one for their partner who can’t get to the meeting. I can see what will happen now, those without a partner will be wanting two next week! Hehe!

No BJ this week, but I remembered he is on holiday in Cornwall, and next month two weeks in Ireland. Jealous? Me?

Folks seemed in a decent mood.

When I left early to catch the bus to Arnold, a lorry arrived delivering hardcore.

I meant to get the man in the pictures little dog in the frame but missed him. The tiny spirited thing didn’t half have a go at the lorry when it passed them, making the two of them jump a little.

A lot of tenants arrived to catch a bus, and the lady from the end home came, and we had an excellent nattering session. This girl lives in the Home at the end of Chestnut Drive. Briarwood Court ran by Metropolitan, it provides accommodation for people with learning disabilities. Accommodation consists of a four-bedroom house and seven self-contained single flats. They provide white goods, and there is a communal washing machine and tumble drier. A key-worker provides fifteen hours per week of one-to-one support in the customer’s home. Support is provided for as long as each client needs it, with the intention that they develop the skills and confidence to eventually live independently. (Found the above details on the web) The poor thing was in a bit of a confused state and very worried about them hassling her about her loss of weight. She had lost three stone in a year, and I think they were trying to help her to gain weight. They have a holiday she can go on for free, to the Mediterranean, but say she must get her weight up to 8 stone, or she will not be allowed to go on it. She told me of the things happening to her and people getting upset with her. Perhaps they are trying to get her to understand things health wise for her benefit? I don’t know anything other than what she tells me but felt a little honoured that she chose to say it to me.

During the chinwagging, on the bus, she asked if it would be possible for her to attend the Winwood Social Hour. Bill (William on Sundays) and Roy both said I should ask one of our Obergruppenfurheresses. Maybe I could invite her as a friend? She is a gentle lady, and I believe she needs extra help than she is getting. I wish I could assist in some way. When Warden Deana returns from her holiday, I will inquire.

I did offer her a nibble, and she thanked me and took one, a Penguin bar but will she eat it? Bless her.

Dropped off the bus in Arnold and went straight to Asda. Where I had a long slow hobble around and ended up spending far too much on unneeded fodder again. Humph! I bought Nibbles for the meetings, a parsnip, carrot, red onion, leek, bread thins and two beef slices in pastry.

Went to get the bus and missed it. Tsk! Decided to have a look around the shops before catching the bus going the other way, and staying on it to come back again on the way to town. Does that make sense?

Hobbled to the Iceland store, bought nothing.

Then out and along to the Fulton Foods shop, where they had some very cheap offers on nibbles, and I purchased a box of – Lamb steaks in rosemary and mint sauce cook-in-the-bag style. Might have one of these tomorrow with some Crock-Pot veg cooked in seasoned with lamb gravy water? The last ones of these I had, were mostly bone, but the gravy was excellent. And, very cheap at £2.99 a pack.

To the bus stop, long way out to Bestwood and then back to Arnold and then Daybrook, Sherwood and the flats.

The leek that I had bought was smelling so strong, the scent came out from the bottom of the bag on my knees and made my eyes water Hahaha! I bet this one will be tasty?

The Briarwood lady and Roy and Bill (William on Sundays) and Welsh Bill got on in Sherwood, and we chatted.

Hobbled to the flats with Welsh Bill and a lady. She had a moan on the way about lack of movement with the apartments, and said how she had requested that the bus move the stop to nearer put flats. I mentioned that it might cause more difficulties as there would not be room for it to turn around at the end. But she would not have it, all she was interested in was not having to walk so far. Hehe!

Imagine if the bus was at the end turning like she wanted, and a lorry arrived like this one from earlier today?

Got in, Throne. Got the dinner on the go. Beef pie with trimmings.

Back at the apartment: A Porcelain Throne Visit – messy again, Trotsky Terence lingering still. Turned the computer on updated this diary a bit. Then, got the nosh sorted.

Got the nosh sorted.

Mushrooms, yellow peppers, last of the fresh garden peas, hash browns, lousy tasting bitter tomatoes, apple, Marmite crisps and a beef pie.

Not the best of meals, but a worthy 7.9/10.

Did the health Checks, took the medications and had a glass of spring water.

Fatigued again, I washed up and settled to watch ‘Hussle’ on the DVD.

I got through a whole three episodes without a single nod-off!

Had to visit the Porcelain Throne, a messy session again. Trotsky Terence and a rumbling tummy. Tsk!

Cleaned me and things up and took an Acute Diarrhorea capsule. This got me through the night alright, Throne visiting-wise. Hehe! Bearing in mind the earlier Whoopsiedangle plop with the Trotsky medications, it might have been worse.

The nodding off started minutes after I’d got back into the £300 second-hand recliner. I’m sure many dreams were had, but remember nothing of them, other than a sense, a feeling, that the school days were in them somewhere.

Woke early with a jump at 0235hrs?

Inchcock Today – Sunday 3rd/Monday 4th September 2017

Sunday 3rd September 2017

0435hrs: Stirred into semi-life and disentangled my massively bloated body from the £300 second-hand recliner, and off to the Porcelain Throne. Like during the night, no activity produced, all wind and phwerts! Haemorrhoid Harold still bleeding, but far less now. After cleaning things up blood-wise, I noticed how damnably tight the pyjama bottoms were around the newly swollen and extended stomach girth. This was not good. I hope things start moving shortly. Hehe!

A most artistic blood spotted on foot. IT really did look like someone had painted it on my foot? Haha! As Lynton said, with the Warfarin INR blood level going up and down so often, these will come and go regularly, they do not hurt or even itch at all. Never had them so beautiful before?

I felt a little febriculose, so took an extra Codeine tablet.

Made another brew of tea and carried out the Health Checks. Sys148, Dia 78, Pulse 74, Temp 35.6. I think the pulse might be a bit minimal and the temperature a bit high?

Not surprising though, with having the fever symptoms and bloated torso. The weight was 14.9.

Into the computer, and spotted something I had not earlier – a banana on the old chair arm. Now, there is a banana skin in the bin from last night where I ate one after the meal – so where has this one come from? Did I fetch another in my sleep? Has my mind now gone fainéant as well as confused? Mmm!

Got on with finishing yesterdays diary, not a lot in it, because I spent so much time sorting the graphics out nearly all day, and still have a lot more to get done before I can even begin to create them yet. But I like doing them.

Off to the Throne again, another failure and the stomach was churning more than ever. Wait till it comes is all I can do, with crossed fingers. I suppose it will come eventually, but where and when? Humph! Taking no chances, each time I get the ‘feeling’ to use the Porcelain Throne, I’ll pay a visit to be on the safe side. Even if I do wear out the carpet. Haha!

Made a start on this post. Then Email checks, WordPress reading and responding. I got interrupted by another call to the Throne – Boy was this a session and a half! The longest passage of wind ever followed the movement of gargantuan proportions! I considered opening all of the windows afterwards too, – talk about thick, the whiff was almost unbearable even to me. I hope it doesn’t filter through to the other flats? Still,  the tummy pains eased straight away.

Back and did the Emails and other catching up, then onto CorelDraw and the graphic preparation work.

Stopped to get the potatoes in the saucepan to boil slowly.

I have no idea what is in the seasoning, just that it tastes delightful. (Well, it did last time I used it in the boiled potatoes). Made a brew and back to CorelDraw.

I did a Birthday graphic for Australia’s Mary. Posted it to her Facebook and back again to preparing the TFZer next series ones.

Got a few done ready, lots more to do yet, though.

Ailments still being kind to me. Late now, so I must get the meal ready. Took a photograph of the plate, and when I got around to updating this, it had gone?

Health Checks, medications and settled t to watch the football match. Portugal v Hungary. Fell asleep in seconds.

Monday 4th September 2017

0425hrs: Hastily up and off to the Porcelain Throne. No change this session, still a touch Trotsky-like.

The blood-blister thingy on my foot seems to be changing colour now? The big toe nail appears to be going brown at the ends of them now?

I decided I must get a hobble in today, whatever happens. Two days stuck inside on the computer is doing me no good, methinks.

Back into the £300 second-hand recliner room, no signs of any nibbling or mess. Good!

Took the medications and did the Health-Checks. Then turned the computer on and made-up the weekly record for the nurse tomorrow.

Set about working on the TFZers photographic series. I think I’ve taken on too much with this one, it is taking far too long, and I am not getting other things done. But still, I do enjoy doing them.

Had to stop after three hours, to do the Email and WordPress readings.

Made a fresh mug of tea and took these photographs of the misty morning out side. The first one from the balcony. The second from my hanging out of the kitchen window (Camera strap firmly around my wrist, hehe!) and noticed that nothing building work wise, looked any different to a similar picture I took of the same area last Wednesday?

An Email returned to me that I had sent to her yesterday, told me that the beautiful Obergruppenfurheress Deana is on holiday again, I thought she seemed a little cheerful when she called in the flat last week to check if I had done the Wristlet Alarm battery tests. First time I have seen her for weeks. She must be very busy with all the workings going on… Mind you, they are not doing anything at the moment. So?

Back to the Emails.

A lot to get through this morning.

Th one that stuck out first was from Sister Jane, I saw The Foo on screen and feared the worst new possible, so quickly opened the email. She had sent a photograph of Fooey while he was snoozing and I assumed, snoring away!

Bless him and his pleasant nature.

Had to have many wee-wees up to now, so I might not go out on the bus for a walk, I’ll just hobble down into Sherwood and get some cooked meat perhaps. I could, if Hilda Hips and Arthur Itis are kind to me, walk up and down Mansfield Road taking snaps of the side roads for my friends abroad and the TFZers on Facebook to show how Sherwood looks?

Back once again to the Emails, then WordPress reading.

I got the rubbish bags sorted ready to go to the chute, then did the ablutions, which took me a good while, as shaving was not easy, what with me not shaving yesterday. Much bleeding. Naughty Boy!

Set off, down in the lift and along Chestnut Grove.

The rain had stopped, and I found one building worker on site, I sneaked a shot of him through the temporary gate No.4 – no other workers sighted, no vehicles, deliveries or anything. Are they on a go-slow? Hehe!

To the end of the road and right down Winchester Street – it was a bit slippery underfoot with the leaves, berries, flowers and trimmings from where they had cut back all the bushes. Got to the bottom and walked left up to the library, started taking photographs as I walked back down and up the hill to the bus stop. I later used all of the pictures in a post. Link: A Walk along Mansfield Road…

I took about 15 photographicalisations of close business premises, retail units restaurants and food takeaways, amongst others.

So many failed dreams of so many small entrepreneurs and hopeful people.

I even found the alleyway where the brothel (So they tell me!) used to operate from, that is now flats it seems. But it looked a bit deserted to me?

I called into the Polish Food Store to get sneered at and ignored, as part of my training ready for next weeks visit at the Obergruppenfureress Receptionists at the Audio Clinic. Hehe! I bought some bread, roast belly pork ribs (A sandwich meal tonight, with extras of course), apples and cooked belly pork with herbs and garlic.

Pressed on up the hill and found that the Reptile Centre had closed as well.

On up to the bus stop and caught a number 40 the three stops up the hill. Dropped off at the National Cleaners place, and hobbled back up to the flats, slowly and limpingly. Hippy Hilda and the plates made sure of that!

Got in and utilised the Porcelain Throne, I think that Trotsky Terence is weakening now. Cleaned up and got potato thingies in the oven to cook and the meat sarnies done and the trimmings on the plate ready.

While doing this, I thought I heard vehicle horns being sounded rather aggressively.

Looked out the kitchen window, but could see no signs of any altercation, in fact, I saw no one about at all at first.

But seeing the tail gate open on the car on the left, I zoomed in doing my neighbourhood watch duties, to see if anything untoward was taking place. A bloke was sat on the end bumper in the car, using his mobile phone, I think, and drinking his can of Coke.

Excitement over, I got the fodder served up and settled with it in a tray on the knees, the TV on to watch the Football Match, and suddenly needed a wee-wee. Humph! Out of the recliner and off and tended to things, cleaned up and returned.

Climbed back into the now shaking precariously when in use £300 second-hand Recliner – and the phone rang! Tsk! It was someone wanting to talk to Martin? I explained things to the caller, who had a nice Cornish accent, that there was no Martins here, and climbed back into the still wobbling when in use £300 second-hand Recliner, and got the tray back on the knee and started to imbibe the fodder with the cold and rather soggy potato balls. Grumph!

I still enjoyed the fodder, just not as much as I would have without all the Mini-Whoopsiedangleplops!

I kept drifting off for a few minutes, waking up for a minute and off again. This happened for hours, until while awake and wondering what happened score-wise on the long gone football match, I passed some wind – Huh! Had to visit the wet room to chck things out – all good!

By the time I got settled again, I relaised it was gone midnight! Oh, dear!

Inchcock Today – Saturday 2nd August 2017: Not much done other than Computerisationalisationing, diaries, writing and Graphic preperations

Saturday 2nd August 2017

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, outdoor

0430hrs: No signs of any nibbling activity around the recliner.

Although the dream memories were fecund, they absconded from my reach within seconds, most aggravating. They seem lately to be non-existent or soon evanesce. Egads!

Out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off to the Porcelain Throne. Oh, dear! Haemorrhoid Harry bleeding freely again. Made right mess that needed cleaning up.  Getting low on Haemorrhoid Harry’s cream now. Titivated things and back to the recliner room, found a note on the arm of the chair.

Times and scribble on it, not the foggiest idea what it should represent, apart from the Wee-wee?

Bad writing to say the least, but maybe I was half-asleep when pencilled it?

Took a photo from the kitchen window while I did the Health Checks and took the medications. Sys 169, Dia 76, Pulse 99, Temp 33.3, Weight now up to 14.9… Tsk!

Again, I took a Dia-Limit capsule as things were still not free of Trotsky Terence’s interference on the Throne.

0630hrs: I set to importing and doctoring the photographs from yesterday, those I took and them that Jane & Pete had sent me. This was an enormous task. By the time I had used them in yesterday’s post and on a dedicated one, it was 1210hrs! The day had gone! Tsk!

I began this diary up to here, then checked the Emails, did WordPress reading and responding.

Then I went on Facebooking. Being so busy I’d missed an awful lot.

Got carried away finding words to use and adding them to my own Words-to-Use file on Word.

Then on to Coreldraw to do some prep work for the next TFZer series.

Drained and tired now. I did the Health Checks and took the medications and then got the fodder ready.

Balsamic boiled sliced potatoes, with beetroot vinegarette, Mushroom & Pork Pate, tomatoes in balsamic vinegarette, potato letters. Peas and a rather overcooked yet tasty beef pie – and; The apple that Pete kindly stole from his neighbour’s tree and gave to me yesterday. Hehe!
Oh, and a banana.

I settled down to watch the Spain v Italy football match. It seems that the Italians have copied much from the England team. Maybe they should stop doing this? That is if they want to win something, like a football competition. The Spaniards were so superior in every department, I tried to count their players on the pitch, I thought they had sneaked an extra couple onto the field. Hehe!

Had dreams the moment I nodded off, but I can only recall the tiniest of details. Somehow I was swimming inside an oil tanker, and searching for lost shoelace?

Woke a few times to go to the Porcelain Throne, but it was all wind. Oh, dearie me!

Inchcock Today – Friday 1st September 2017: Visited Jane Pete and Fooey, lots of photographicalisations taken!

Not a Happy Lot at all… Apart from Jeremy, of course. Hehe!

Friday 1st September 2017

0330hrs: Awoke with dreams milling about in the head, but they dissipated almost immediately, Tsk! They became replaced, with the memory that I needed to get the laundry done this morning, urgently. Before I needed to get myself ready for the visit to Sister Jane’s Mansion.  For I knew that when the afternoon arrived, the fatigue would prevent me doing much at all. I had to absquatulate the £300 second-hand recliner and attend the Porcelain Throne. Trotsky Terence was causing the urgent need. Huh, again!
Bit of a job cleaning up after the session.

Lots of the ailments were present this morning, but apart from Duodenal Donald who was a touch vigorous in his attentions, Anne Gyna, Hernia Harry, Trotsky Terence, Hilda Hips and Roger Reflux were all in a well-copiable-with mode.

Into the kitchen and found the slippers sticking to the floor? Another mess to sort out. I had no idea what the sticky stuff was; it was translucent patchy stickiness. When I mopped up, it came off quickly enough?

Did the Health Checks. Sys 155 – Dia 71 – Pulse 93 – Temp 31.9, all looking good again. The weight at 14.88 was a tad up again, though only the tiniest bit.

Gathered the equipment needed, and down to the Laundry Room and got the washing machine going. Noticed some new signs on the board, but I had forgotten to take the camera down with me, I’ll get these later.

Up the lift with its flickering lights, and got a brew made and took the morning medications.

Turned on the computer and finished off yesterday’s diary and got it posted off.

Got the camera in my pocket and went back down to the laundry room. The elevator lights were still flickering and flashing, I know not why.

And the next lift I could hear making grinding noises as it moved?

The place needed a bit more cleaning than usual today.

The fingers of the left hand had a visit from Crampy Craig as I took out the clothes and moved them into the dryer.

Huh!

The trays where you put the soap powder if you use it, and freshener were clogged up with old powder, and the front of the machines had spillage stuck to it. Cleaned up both machines.

Then went to investigate the new posters and signs on the wall in the corridor near the lifts.

The first one I read, was informing us of another Nosh-Out session on 20th September. Only £3.99 for a Fish and Chips (Or potatoes) and a drink. Sadly, I have an appointment at the Clinic on that day, Humph!

The next one warns of Travellers who have set up camp in Woodthorpe Grange Park at the top.

That was fun to see that someone else can get the spelling of words wrong! (Smugness dawned, Hehe!)

The last one reminded us of the old £1 coin becoming illegal on 15th October. It’s bad enough using just using majuscule writing, but with added words in bold as well? Perhaps I’m a bit pernickety?

I went outside to take this ‘Moody’ attempt of a photographicalisation of the apartments frontage.

Back up again to the dwelling box. In the other lift – this lift-ride did not have any flashing lights, though, it had worse! A grinding scraping sort of noise as it travelled up? Tsk!

Got the washing stored away, had a wee-wee and popped out on the balcony to take these photographicalisations.

The light was rather colourful now.

I started this post off up to here, then checked the Emails and did some WordPress reading.

No time for Facebooking now, I have to get myself presentable, for a visit to see Sister Jane and Pete to see Fooey. Made sure the liquid food for Fooey was in the bag.

Started the ablutionalisationing session. Collected the bag and set off on a walk to the bus stop on Chestnut Walk.

As I hobbled along, there were no signs of any activity or noises from the workmen. They were noticeable by their absence, Again!

A few laughs, insults, moans and chuntering took place between the residents who were waiting for the bus. The prevailing atmosphere was one of, what’s the word I’m looking for? Erm, discontentment or disgruntlement, barely noticeable, but it was there.

The weather was pleasant as I wandered off into the shrubbery in search of an other Nottingham Nature photograph.

Unfortunately, I slipped as I bent to get this not very good picture of a bee, and Hilda Hips cracked, and this left me with the resulting pain for the rest of the day and into the morning. Tsk! Walking became a painful chore.
Not a good start, Hilda Hips and Haemorrhoid Harold too, were both set-in to be with me for the rest of the day. Hey-ho, if it isn’t one it’s another one or two that take precedence other the other ailments.

Had great chinwag with 4th floor Bill en route. He’s led an exciting life, I love listening to his tales.

Dropped off on Upper Parliament Street. Walked passing six bus stops to the West Bridgford one, and it was closed due to the roadworks, walked back to find it now at the bus stop next to the one I had dropped off at. Hehe! The bus arrived in minutes and in no time I was in West Bridgford, walking to Sister Janes and using the mobile to call her and advise her of my imminent arrival.

I was greeted and given a large cup of tea. First things first I thought, and Pete fetched Fooey down, and a fuss was made. I fed him a tube of liquefied cat food he liked and had a chinwag with him.

Pete and Jane took some photographs of Fooey for me.

Pete had a bad cough on him. But they both looked fit.

Gave them their nibbles, seaweed, Marmite Cakes (Got told off about these, she does not like them, and I should have remembered that she had said this!), Block of Polish Cooked Pork, cat food and some other bits. I, being the Birthday Boy (Well, nearly, Hehe) I got an out of date tin of mints and an apple they stole from their neighbour’s tree that hangs over their garden. Hehe! Only joking, it wasn’t out of date at all. (I’ll be in trouble for saying this, now!).

Their garden looked in super form.

Had a wander around and Jane collected some figs from her tree.

They kindly took some pictures of me, in various places around their lawn. I hope to use them later for a TFZer Series with the gals and guys in the garden along with me. The idea being that I doctor a photo of a TFZer and put it alongside me in the graphic?

Look at the Reflux Valve sticking out. Tsk!

They posed for a few shots for me, bless them.

Jane found Albert and bravely held him long enough for me to take the shots. Albert was not a happy lad about this at all. But he did look straight at the camera for this photographicalisation, though.

Jane & Pete with Fooey outside their glazed patio doors.

Gawd, I love that cat.

They and I took a good few photographs, and I will put them all in a post on WordPress later.

Pete picked some good shots near his shed to take my picture. He raided next doors apple tree for me to have one.

Much laughter and memories were prompted during the visit. Jane kept getting me to nibble bits of her very high-class fodder. I think she liked the Polish Bacon I got for them.

I clandestinely took the midday medications. A terrific visit indeed and I felt a lot cheerier when I left.

The chin-wagging had to cease, as I was soon feeling a bit drained and weary, and Hilda Hip was giving me some hassled still. No Dizzies, mind today.

Pete walked to the bus stop with me, caught the bus, and he dropped off on Central Avenue. I’m a bit concerned about his coughing.

The sky over the City Centre looked very modern as I limped around it. Limped around the City Centre that is, not the sky. Haha!

The youngsters all seemed very happy and content in the water display come paddling pool, shame about the Pavement cyclists though.

I pottered around the stalls and rides looking for an individual photograph to take.

But walking in the crowds meant my having to sidestep and twist to get through without being walked or bumped into.

And this set Hilda Hip off again.

So, I took a shot of the beach and limped off to the bus stop on Queen Street for the L9.

Two Nottingham pavement Cyclists nearly had me over on the way up to the bus stop. Tsk!

I was soon back in the apartment and on the Porcelain Throne. After which, I doused Hilda Hips area and Arthur Itis’s knees and fingers with the Phorpain and applied the lower regions with Betamethasone, and took an extra Codeine with the evening medications. I bet I smelt a bit odd. Hehe!

I took the evening medications.

Feeling shattered now, but determined to get the photographs downloaded onto the computer ready to utilise in the morning. I sent an Email to Jane and Pete asking them if they would send the photos they took earlier to me ASAP so I could use those.

Got the fodder cooking. Garden peas in the saucepan with brown sugar, potato balls and mini-waffles in the oven, sliced the tomatoes and added balsamic vinegarette on them, beetroots on the plate, apple sliced and smoked BBQ sauce Mackerel all ready to add to it later. Banana and Lemon Fool out ready.

Doing this, I realised I could not find the apple that Pete stole for me from his next door neighbours tree? Searched around without finding it?

As luck had it, I found the fruit on top of the Hallway Radiator, much later; in fact the next day!

A blooming good job the heating wasn’t on, eh?

Pete sent the pictures via Email and the dinner was nearly cooked and ready. I turned down the heat in the oven and got the photos downloaded first.

When I went into the kitchen to sort the meal out, I got sidetracked again, this time by the wonderful view outside.

Then realised I’d not done the Health Checks either. So, sorted them out:

Sys 160, Dia 75, Pulse 75, Temp 32.7, pulse well down for a change.

Eventually I got around to serving up the not as hot as it should have been meal.

All out and on the tray ready, and guess what? Haemorrhoid Harold started bleeding, right out of the blue! At first I thought this warm wet feeling was from Trotsky Terence, but no, just crimson red blood to deal with.

Into the wet room and sorted things out. Humph, getting fed-up again now! Hehe!

Finally I got to the fodder and consumed it – and if only I could have got it while it was hot and not reheated, this might have been one of the best ever! For I enjoyed it all the same.

Shame that.

The nodding off started as soon as I got the TV on. However and notwithstanding, I stayed awake for the Malta v England farce. Sheer fatigue from the brave battling Maltese team allowed the scoreline of 4-0. England captain Jordan Henderson said after the game: “There are positives to come out of it but plenty of room to improve it as well.” Brilliant statement!

I facepalmed myself a few times throughout the match! Another Brilliant Statement!

After few minutes thought of what England can do to improve (humph!) I drifted off into a dream filled sleep.

Inchcock Today – Saturday/Sunday 26th/27th August 2017: Not one the best of weekends. Humph! Hehe!

Saturday 26th August 2017

Azerbaijani: 26 Avqust 2017 Şənbə

0225hrs: I stirred into semi-life, more on than in, the £300 second-hand recliner. I was not sure how I’d got into this precarious position and had it was a challenge getting out of it. By the time I had extracted and freed this overweight mould of body-mass, Hippy Hilda, Hernia Henry and Arthur Itis had all started kicking off complaining. A bad start to the day, Tsk!

Of to the Porcelain Throne, not a good session and I decided to take another Diah-Limit capsule with the medications. Slowly the yonderly feelings left me, and semi-logical thoughts were let through to ruminate within the brain. Not always a good thing.

I did the Health Checks: Sys 160, Dia 76, Pulse 88, Temp 35.5, Weight 14.89. Then made a brew of tea and took the medications.

The computer on and updated yesterday’s post.

0330hrs: Sudden decision to get the washing done. Down to the laundry room.

Ah-ha! The Secret Tea Drinker of Old Woodthorpe Court must have been visiting the laundry room? Hehehe!

On the way back up, I espied some new notices on the board…

A little confusing about the Scarborough now Skegness outing?

Seeing the word Bingo on the letter to the left made me shudder.

Thank heavens I have cancelled the trip. If they are to play Bingo on these trips, I will certainly not be going on them.

Lucky escape when they changed the destination and I withdrew my name. Phew!

Got the machine going and back up to the flat and updated this diary.

0405hrs: Down to move the washing to the dryer.

Popped outside and took this semi-moody photograph from outside the entrance doors.

Not cold out at all this morning at all.

Came back in and retrieved the clobber from the washer and moved it into the dryer, and cleaned the machine.

As I went back to the lift, I saw a notice I’d missed earlier, either that; or someone had been down and put it up during the last hour. Hehe!

I agree that this is unacceptable behaviour.

But, was Obergefreiteress Jenny right with her comment: “PLEASE either leave them on the floor of the chute room….”

Surely the new signs put up in the Chute Room, tell us not to do this?

Some of the more elderly residents might be misled by Jenny’s notice and get themselves in trouble?

Might I suggest that the Nottingham City Homes use fingerprints, DNA or pay a Personal Informer? Hehe!

Apart from this, though, it is a hazardous practice. It might have damaged the caretakers mobile phone, then where would he be if he could not do his ‘Phubbing’ (Noun: The practice of ignoring one’s neighbours or companions to pay attention to one’s mobile phone) at any of us when we do try to speak to him?

Updated this diary to here, then down to collect the laundry. Each time I’ve used it up to now, the elevator on the left has had flashing lights inside, had to close the eyes.

Gathered and folded the dried togs and got them into the bag.

Cleaned the filters and drum, and back up to the apartment with them.

Got the clothes stored away where they belong. All finished by 0550hrs, and ready for a mug of tea.

Updated this post to here, then got caught up with Facebook, it took a few hours. Well, three hours to get caught up.

Made a start on the next TFZer series graphic preparation. Spent hours on this too, but without much to show for it.

Got the nosh cooking, peas in saucepan chips and pie in the oven.

Still no call to the Porcelain Throne for a while? Managed a lot of wee-wees, though. Tsk!

This simplistic fodder went down like a treat, despite when I was taking the stuff out of the oven, I got a phone call from Brother-in-Law Pete, and it was not very hot when I got round to eating it. Very nice to get a call, though.

Fatigued again for no reason, I almost collapsed in the recliner, watched some TV in between nod-offs. The dreams were rampant and not nice, but memories of them a scarce.

And that was the day done for me. Tsk!

Sunday 27th August 2017

Latin: Die XXVII Septembris MMXVII

0300hrs: Stirred and pondered on the dreams I’d been having, but only the nature of them returned to me, no details really. Guilt and frustration lingered from them I think.

As I moved to stand up, a right mess was strewn all around the £300 second-hand recliner. Nibble packets (empty), crumbs, medical pots and tubes, broken pencil, mobile phone on the carpet, nail cutters and rather worryingly an empty giant size roasted seaweed packet. I spent a while trying to remember eating anything last night, but could not recall doing so, apart from the meal?

To the Porcelain Throne, Oh dear… Trotsky Terence might be returning, a messy, uncomfortable session. Mind you, no Dizzy Dennis, Shaking Shaun, Hippy Hilda, Reflux Roger or Hernia Harry hassle up to now. Duodenal Donald and Anne Gyna seemed to be working in unison to torment me, with the odd excruciating attack (Humph!). Especially, Duodenal Donald, he made me want to deracinate the innards to relieve the stabbing pains, and Anne Gyna seemed to be very busy causing similar annoyance all over the chest and back area. Not had a start to the day as bad as this for a long time.

Sat there on the free-moving loose Porcelain Throne seat, I ruminated on things. But the mind was not in the mood for my making use of it, so I gave up pondering, wash-up and into the kitchen to make a brew and do the Health Checks and medication imbibing.

Oh, heck! The state of the kitchen. Dirty washing in the sink, crumbs and marks on the floor, and, crucially, the fridge door was open! So, I had been night-nibbling in my sleep for sure, then?

It was 0355hrs by the time I got around to carrying-out the Health Checks.

Sys138, Dia 98, Pulse 80 Temp 35.59 and the weight 14.85. I put the high Dia and temperature down to my not feeling too well overall? At least the weight had fallen a bit. Took the medications.

I could not face cleaning the place up. I was concerned as to how I made the mess and could not remember doing it? The Rumbling Innards were getting a bit more fierce, now. Back to the Porcelain Throne soon I reckon.

I got the urge to take a panoramic photograph from out on the balcony. I could not hold the camera firmly enough to make one, so I took two regular ones and tried to get them together and trimmed, this is the result. Not perfect, but it gives you an idea of the incredible view I am lucky enough to have.

Not too cold out at all. I returned inside and visited the Porcelain Throne. Things no better, messy again. Took an extra Diah-Limit capsule and Codeine 60g.

Got on with updating this diary. (Anything to avoid getting the place cleaned-up! Tsk!)

0540hrs: Checked the Emails. Then WordPress reading. Readied and titivated some graphics for later use.

I’ve a little bit of advice in the form of a tip here for you folks. Then you are getting down to get the washing-up liquid from underneath the kitchen sink and get a visit from Dizzy Dennis, try not to fall with all your weight against the cupboard door. Especially when your thumb is still in the closet! The door squashing your digit may impose a sweet blood-blister under your nail. Hehe!

0708hrs: Updated this diary.

Perused Facebook.

0900hrs: Made a brew of Thompson’s Strong Tea (Personally Recommended for those who like a tasty mug of tea!), And set about prepping some stuff for the graphics for the next TFZer series. Got one done and posted, but not one in this series.

I pray they will like it. Sixteen TFZers with six of their pets, in this one. I wonder if anyone can name them all? Just a bit of fun. Marie Young was the first TFZ to say she’d found them all, bless her cotton socks. I must find time to do a Certificationalision of Merit graphic.

Got the nosh sorted. Tomatoes and balsamic vinegar dressing, boiled potatoes with grated cheese, beetroot, cheesy potato pockets, apple, mini pork pie, mushrooms and a slice of flat bread. Followed by a lemon curd yoghourt.

This went down very well. Rated at 9.35/10!

Washed-up and did the Health Checks, then took the medications.

BJ rang, “Do you still want to go to the Papplewick Pumping Station tomorrow?” – “Yes please, thanks.” – “Tsk! I’ll call you when I’m on my way after picking up David, should be around 1200hrs” Nice!

Settled-down to watch some TV. Intending to look at a daft monster film and a documentary about the Marie Celeste. I spent more time nodding that watching! Hehe! Then when I decided to give up the viewing, I could not get off to sleep with the mind fighting against any rest with its constant thinking of regrets, mistakes and frustrations I’d been through over the years.

Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 22nd August 2017

Quomodocunquizer – Someone who will use any means foul or fair to make money

Tuesday 21st August 2017

Turkish: 21 Ağustos 2017 Salı

Sleep had become impossible as my jargogled mind seemed intent (and was successful) in my not getting any rest or respite.

0235hrs: After a while of my meditating on life and roast chestnuts, I got out of the £300 second-hand recliner and noticed a note I’d left myself laid over the computer screen, to remember the INR Warfarin Blood Test this morning at 0905hrs. This cheered me up at the thought that I may see Nurse Nichole if she is on duty?

Cheered a little by this, I decided to get the laundry duties done straight away, well, after a visit to the Porcelain Throne, that went very well, Trotsky Terence was getting much easier to live with now.

0248hrs: The accoutrements and clothes gathered, I made my way down to the laundry room. I got the machine going after having to clean some pink gooey stuff off of the drum, left presumably from the last user.

Nipped out into the slightly foggy morning and took this photographicalisation of the block.

Going up in the other lift, one of the elevator’s lights were flashing, or rather, kept going dim occasionally?

Had a wee-wee, and went to make a brew and have a mug of Thompson’s super-tasty-strong tea and take the medications. Twas here that I realised that only Anne Gyna out of all the ailments, was giving me any grief. Oh, that’s not right, I forgot about Arthur Itis and Craig Cramps who are both currently having a go at the fingers. No complaining from me, though. The Rumbling Innards, Hippy Hilda, Duodenal Donald, Dizzy Dennis, Hernia Harry, Reflux Roger, and Shaking Shaun are all acting most kindly to me. The boils had disappeared. Even Trotsky Terence has eased off massively now.

Did the health checks and got a shock from the scales at the weight I’d increased to too! If Nurse Nichole is on duty this morning, I’ll tell her and ask her advice. I am sure I’m not overeating, and am trying to get in as much exercise as I can? Sys 159, Dia 77, Pulse 88, Temp 34.8 and  Weight 14.96 – Oh dear.

0300hrs: Time to go down and move the gear from the washer to dryer.

I spotted a new notice on the wall board from Obergefrieteress Jenny.

I’m not sure about not many people turning up to the meetings, but the cabin was jam-packed on the one I went to. Mind you, most of us were guessing at what was being said, No Subtitles in real life, you see. Haha! And at least two of us old ones I noticed had nodded-off! Haha!

I know that Jenny thinks using all caps on the notices helps those with poor eyesight, but it does not read quickly or easily, to me, typed like this. Not moaning, just mentioning.

0329hrs: Moved the washing and went back up and got onto the computer. Finalised the Monday Diary and got it posted. Did a graphic for the page top.

0435hrs: Back down to the Laundry Room to collect and collate the clothes. Got them sorted.

I was puzzled and wondered what the reason was for the new looking spoon on the top of the dryer?

In one of the two lifts, the number twelve button does not light up, in fact, it broke the day I moved in.

Anyway, I went up in the one that does light up, and it started flashing on and off?

Just thought I’d mention it.

Got the gear stored away and had a wee-wee, starting sneezing now?

Began this diary.

The weather was getting a lot less misty now. A definite blue hue, too. Hehe!

Time getting on now, so I got to checking the Emails and WordPress reading, so I had time before having to get the ablutions and medicationalising, so as not be late getting to the surgery and possibly, Nurse Nichole.

Ablutions tended to, medicationalisationing done and out with the bag of nibbles, ready to go to the surgery. Well, I got as far as the foyer doors, and a lady spoke to me, and I did not hear what she said, so I went back up and collected the hearing aids. Tsk! Down again and passing the bus stop, there must have been 18 tenants waiting in the queue.

Down Winchester Street Hill and hobbled through the side streets onto Mansfield Road.

Diversions were in progress around this area.

Left and up the hill, then over the crest and down into Carrington.

The plates were soon stinging.

As I went down the incline, my mind had another wandering off on its own course period.

I walked straight passed the Sherrington Park Surgery, as far as the Tavistock Court Flats before realising.

Hobbled back to it, felt a right fool again!

Logged in with the receptionist and sat down doing the crosswords.

The joy of Joy… Nurse Nichole came to fetch me in! She took the blood, and I was in a dream at seeing her again. I gave her a box of Terry’s Orange Chocolate,  and a bag of nibbles for the others and departed.

Walked down into Carrington with the aim of visit the pharmacy to find out when the next prescriptions are due to be collected and then Lidl to get some bread. (This did not happen)

The chemist informed me the 8th September was the date for the prescriptions to be fetched. I wrote this on the cover of the crossword book so as not to forget.

Limped down to Lidl, and found the property a shell, with everything gone from inside and workmen clearing things out?

I took this photograph with the lens up against the window to show how the far end of the building had had the wall removed.

Nobody told me this was going to happen? Hehe! Nor a lady who arrived and we had a laugh about it. We both decided to go back to Sherwood to do our shopping. Huh!

Wonder if they were upgrading or had they left the site?

Spotted some more Nottingham Street Art on the corner outside the store.Got a bus back into Sherwood and called in the Polish Food Shop. Spent a lot of dosh there, got some belly pork with herbs and garlic,

Got a bus back into Sherwood and called in the Polish Food Shop. Spent a lot of dosh there, got some belly pork with herbs and garlic, Continental sliced bread and Krakowsa. Walked up the road window shopping and into the Co-op. Got some towels, vinegar and tomatoes.

To the bus stop and a nattering with some other residents waiting alongside me.

When we got back, they showed me a clean pair of heels as we all walked to the flat from the bus stop.

But they were still waiting for an elevator when I arrived, and we went up together. The lady Betty, I think, said the other block of flats has had their lifts out of action all weekend!

In and had a wee-wee. Put the food away. Sandwiches tonight I think, or even earlier, I was getting food pangs again.

The computer on to update this diary.

Medications and Health Checks were done.

Got the super-sandwiches sorted. Continental bread, sliced English tomatoes dabbled with balsamic vinegar, and belly pork with herbs and garlic.

Got the potato nuggets in the oven, and did a bit of work starting off the next TFZer Graphicalisationalistical Series, I am calling, at the moment, “TFZers in Nottingham” for the album. Only got a bit of prepping done of the first one, and it was time to retrieve the nuggets from the oven.

Incredibly tasty meal. Rated 9.2/10, the only problem is where the potato nugget I dropped went to? Huh!

Nodded off, when I woke and extracted my body from the £300 second-hand recliner to go for a wee-wee, I discovered the escaped nugget must have fallen into the slipper I’d just put on. I had to smile to myself and query how the escapee had managed to travel so far as to enter the footwear? Hehe!

I think I can report that Trotsky Terence has all but given up annoying me – mind you if I remember rightly, this has happened in the past, and he has returned with 24hrs with even more venom? So I’d better not mention this. Too late now innit?

Evening medications were taken and I got settled to watch some TV, Amazingly staying awake for a whole one-hour programme of the Dog Rescuers! Then the brain started off with it’s everything needs pondering, fretting and evaluation mode. Tsk!
