Sunday 31 January 2021
Scots Gaelic: Didòmhnaich 31 Faoilleach 2021

I woke several times, and I thought I’d start keeping a record of future ones on the notepad.
22:50hrs: Woke wearily, passed wind, and fell back to sleep.
23:55hrs: Woke, feeling tired. Nodded off again.
00:10hrs: Woke, thought about giving up. Passed-wind. Fell asleep.
01:30hrs: Woke, coughed, and drifted off again.
01:45hrs: Woke, Anne Gyna bother, back to kip again.
02:30hrs: Woke, Anne Gyna bad, more wind passed, and the need of a wee-wee, finally forced me into semi-activity. I rose, hauling my stupendously wobbly-bellied body up onto the feet from the Grotty, £300, second-hand, c1968, unsteady, not-working, incommodious, excruciatingly beige-coloured, haemorrhoid-testing recliner, and caught my balance. Anne Gyna was as painful as she’s been for months. I waddled over to the overnight wee-wee bucket and had a wee-wee of the SP (Short-Powerfull) type. No pre or after-dribbling.
I then took the evening medications I’d missed, last night. Putting in a strictly as needed only (two a day), “Advise Your Doctor”, Nitroglycerin sublingual tablet, letting it dissolve fully. Next, an extra pain-killer. Anne Gyna was a right pain this morning! I must remember to take the morning doses later.
With it being so long since taking these, I double-checked the instructions: A; Sit down – B: Place tablet under tongue. – C: Wait for Five-minutes. D: Do not swallow the tablet. E: If not better, repeat A to C. – F: No improvement? Call 999. I did it right then, now carry on and see how things go.
I was feeling proper shackered, but not low or miserable with it, just drained. Sweet Morpheus has not been kind to me these last few nights. And with Anne Gyna kicking off, a smidge of ‘feeling-sorry for-myselfness’ lingered. Hey-Ho!
I got the computer going, and I threw my attention at getting the updating of yesterdays IT, done. The wee-wees continued throughout, but each one was of the WUNT (Weak-Unwilling-Negligible-Trickling) style now. At long last, I got the updating finished. Posted it off, emailed the link, and did some Facebooking.
Then. I made the first brew of Glengettie of the day.
Sorted some waste bags out and got them in the box on the walker. I’ll need to take these to the waste chute later on, but must get the computing done first, then prepping Josie’s meals to be done. Oh, I can’t go out in case the delivery arrives… The Thought Storms were at it again!

Tried again to clean the crock-pot basin. I thought I’d done a decent job, but when I put the bowel back in the slow-cooker, I realised I hadn’t done a half-decent job cleaning it at all! I had another go, but the mushroom skins were glued to the porcelain! I put it in soak again. Humph!
I went onto the WordPress Reader section. Next, onto the WP comments. I’d missed these yesterdays, Tsk! It took me over an hour, but I was just glad I’d not missed them again, and I replied to them all. Sorry that it was late, folks!
Then a wee-wee, the kettle filled and turned on, and the moon suddenly came out from the clouds.

That did it – I resolved to get a decent picture of the moon, this time, surely one of them might come out alright? I think since I lot the Nikon, and night shots being so frustratingly bad with the Canon, I may have gone into withdrawal symptoms time. Hahaha! I rushed to get the camera before the clouds hid the moon.
Had I took these with the much-missed and lamented Nikon, I’d have thought they were average at best. But with the Canon, they were much better than usual.
Anne Gyna kicked off again with a venom!
I got the Health Checks done then. Starting with the Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometer. At least the SYS had fallen from yesterday, down to 159!
The made in Hong Kong, by the Chinese Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer, showed another decent level of 36.5°c, well in the acceptable green area.
Anne Gyna pains may need me to summon some help if she doesn’t calm down soon. It’s such a struggle to concentrate with the stabbing all around the ribs and chest areas. I dare not take another Nitroglycerin tablet now, with only two being allowed per day, if I did imbibe another one, there would be nothing effective to try if she is still as bad tonight… Poor old thing. I might have a search to see if I have any spare Bisoprolol (Beta-blockers they are used to help treat high blood pressure, angina and heart failure), and take it now, cause things are getting a little nervous-making with Anne Gyna. Yes, I’ll have a look for any spare.

Aha, I found one. I got sidetracked in searching, made up another waste-bag, and sorted out the kitchen towels that had dropped on the floor? Hehe!
I took it, and made a note on the pad, that if things were alright in the morning, not to take the regular one, b
ut keep it safe if needed later on! Fingers crossed, this will ease things a little. I made a brew and took these snaps of the view outside. First a downward photo of the bottom field with the ice and frost looking dodgy. Then another one of
the Chestnut Walk car park.
I turned off the computer, checked around that I’d not left anything on or off that shouldn’t be, and got off to get the ablutions done. I needed the Porcelain Throne anyway.

As I got the shower turned on as I entered the wet room, I realised that the ear-cleaning thingies may arrive while I was inside. So, I returned to check on the computer to see what the ETA was. Ah, they may come soon… I decided to skip the showering to save time.
I utilised the Throne first. It was giant meatballs this time. Bloody painful as well. Still, no mess and no bleeding, so, no complaints.
The teeth cleaning did not go very well, Toothache Thomas was angry. The shaving went average, the two activities saw only four dropsies! I seriously considered going into Smug-Mode, but you know my luck, so I didn’t!
The legs ankles and feet did look okay, though there might be a bit of water-retention building up again, I’ve not had that for weeks now.
Cathys Cartilage was the only ailment that was playing up badly. She does that every now and then, for no apparent reason… I suppose that’s why I’ve given her a female ailment name. Hahaha! Only joking! I should have called Austin, after my Allegro, or Estelle after my Skoda that kept playing up?

When I came out to get dressed, I checked the delivery status on the Amazon site. It didn’t look like it had moved to me. The ETA was the same. Oh, dear, not another sleep-stopping delivery time? Please! Grobbleknackercraps!
I couldn’t find the wristwatch tp put back on. A look in all rooms and the wet room too failed to locate it. Not to fret, it’ll show up later somewhere. I don’t mind, but these Rolex ones ain’t cheap yer know… oh, alright then… I got it from the second-hand charity shop in Sherwood when I moved into the flats, for £2, Hehehe! Within a month it needed a new battery for £18, and a new strap £10. It’s also gone rusty, yet still keeps going!
On the bright side, I’ve just noticed that Anne Gyna is easing off a lot now! Yahoo!

I got the handwashing done in the kitchen sink. I gave it a lot of the Wilko Yan-Ling Chinese made fabric conditioner as I rinsed it out. Got it all done, wrung and hung to drip-dry above the sink
Then, the first proper Accifauxpa of the day! As I turned away from the sink, loss of Balance Brian attacked and momentarily confused, as I started to go down, instead of grabbing the sink unit, I got hold of the long dustpan brush handle. Which, weighing about 4 ounces and made of plastic, surprisingly didn’t afford me any support at all!
Why you may ask, didn’t I grab the sink then? That’s a problem with these sudden losses of balance, the judgement of distances goes to pot at the same time. They are not very good even when things are normal, Tsk!
Anyway, I landed on the right knee – Cathy Cartilages. I think I may have invented some new curse word in the press! Har-har!

This all put me behind on the Sunday Chef duties, and I concentrated on getting Josie’s meal prepped and served up. It looked passable to me, and I still got it served to her door around the usual hour of midday! Smug-Mode gave way to!
Josie opened the door, said the meal was too big, said something else I couldn’t catch, smiled and shot back indoor with her dinner and weekly carrier with the treats. I think she wanted to get back to the hone with her Sister, my EQ said so, anyways.
I then got back to the flat, cleaned up the mess from hurried meal prepping, had a weak wee-wee, washed, and went on the computer. Cartilage Cathy was still upset with me, but Anne Gyna was much kinder now.

Afterwards, I sat a few moments, pondering on the food situation, I decided to see what slots were available for Iceland. I checked the Amazon tracker first, Same ETA, same place on the progress slide? This is how yesterdays went, and you know how late that came! Oh, dearie me!
When I opened the Iceland site, I found a Priority slot, for Saturday 6th February, 06:00 > 08:00hrs. All selected? So, I made an order, but it was all hit and miss. Four things I wanted were not available – how do they know that this early? Hmm? I got the order in and received a confirmation via email.
I spent a few hours updating this blog. The weariness was beginning to show itself, it is beyond my usual head-down time. Now the struggle to stay awake begins!
Unbelievable, the tracker is at the same position with the exact ETA, as it was hours ago? I’ll have a look to see if there is an email about it… hang, on…
An hour later.
I do believe the progress bar has moved a tiny little bit. But it could be me not thinking that it cannot have stayed in the same place for so long?
But, I waffle, to keep awake methinks.
I got the Chilli-Con-Carne and meatballs in Chilli sauce into the pan, added some peas, and keep nipping through to stir and check on it. No fresh stuff left now, the onions, leeks, carrots and peppers have gone, or thrown away through ageing, Hahaha!
I found today’s figures for local Coronavirus cases. Mayhaps a teeny-weeny bit uplifting? No?
Okay!

Oh, check the food… Turned it off and put the lid on. Not only might sleep not be arriving, but the meal may not be either at this rate, Ama-late-again-zon, that should be their new name!
Still no movement on the Tracker slider from hours ago?
I vainly and stupidly looked outside, thinking perhaps the track has broken and the man may be coming now… Humph!
The cold crisp air of the night brought me back to reality – he’s not going to come for hours yet… even if then! Still, I managed to take two half-decent night shots for once.
I’m clinging on to find a Silver Lining in all this, but, no chance.
Sleep, precious sleep has been destroyed through no fault of my own (I think), for several days, or I should say nights. I’m jiggered! Then I found this. Humph!

Ah! the tracker has changed! I hope it comes soon, I need food and sleep in that order. Shouldn’t be long now, though.
Then, when I was getting my hopes up for food and sleep…

The message on the tracker changed to this one ‘The driver has to make a few more deliveries on his way to your address’, that made me go up to ‘Defcon Three’ status, in the Fed-Up Stakes.
Hahaha!
Frustrated a bit, and so very weary, I summoned the strength to get the thin green quilt hand washed. I got it done, rinsed, wrung and hung above the sink to drip dry. It should be ready by about August.
Then moved the made in Myanmar (Burmese), zip-up jacket, to near the wall heater.
I kept checking on the cooking in between doing the other things.
Then the door chimes rang out… it was Josie, at this time of night, returning the food tray and things from her meal. I tried again to explain to her to please not call after 15:00hrs, that is when I go to get my head down.
Poor gal looked confused. Obviously, I am having to pay for my Sunday chef services with lack of rest. I must have baffled her more, as I explained that had I not been up waiting for the delivery, you would have woke me up again. I’m not sure she understood me. At least she said she enjoyed the meal and treats.
I missed some of course but tried to record where the ‘few’ deliveries I saw recorded were made on the map. Boy, I was mentally shattered!

I just hope I can cope with using the wax-removal after all this hassle.
Eventually, the delivery arrived. Far too tired to do anything with it at this late (for me) hour. I opened it and put it in the second medical drawer down.

Got the Chilli-Con-Carne and meatballs served up, and ate it with some brown bread thins. Really tired, but still enjoyed the meal.
A Flavour-Rating of 7.8/10 for this, well-cooked effort. Even without the missing leeks, capsicums etc.! I got the pots in the sink soaking.
At last, I got down to rest, I fell asleep so soon. Unbelievably I kept making up repeatedly again. The sixth night of this, now!

wee-weeing, somehow.
The Chinese made by Shenzhen Relee Electronic & Technology Co. Ltd, contactless thermometer, sold by Amazon, gave a satisfactory reading of 36.7°c and showing in the green.
I limped to the computer, got it booted up, and the innards insisted that I visit the Porcelain Throne, so I did! A delay in the actions starting again, so I had a go at the crossword puzzle that I was struggling with yesterday – I’m still struggling with it now. Hehe!
I got the updating of the Thursday diary completed. The ailments were not too bad to me at all! Posted it off, and sent the email link. Then onto Facebook catching-up. Visited the WordPress Reader Section, and realised as I went to make a brew, all that work and time, and no more wee-
weeing? Something amiss here?
Found the Coronavirus local figures, new cases down a bit more, but they are still coming, so let’s hope for the bestest!
However, overall, a smashing session! Smug-Mode Adopted!
I got the waste bags made up and added them to the ones already in the bag on the walker-guide. And off to the waste-room.
That is all I could decipher from my scribbled notes. (I had to guess at some words)
Wrote the notes, and had a weak-unwilling wee-wee.

02:00hrs: I woke wearily, amazed at having slept for five hours straight! I still felt weary and may have stayed where I was, like a slugabed, were it not for needing a wee-wee. Which brought on concerns about Little Inchies fungal lesion, what condition it will be in. Signs were favourable, though, no stinging at the moment!
With getting up so late, and the Iceland order arriving early, I didn’t have much time to update the diary. I got the Health Checks done first. The Chinese made by Shenzhen Relee Electronic & Technology Co. Ltd, contactless thermometer, showed a slightly higher reading, of 37.0°c.
The Boots branded Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China, had a high SYS of 185. However, it’s done this before occasionally, I may try retaking the BP later, just to be on the safe side. That’s if I have time and remember to!
, and grafted away like a good un, getting the updating sorted out. Not a lot of work needed, which was a good thing, because nasty, naughty Niccodemus’s Neurotransmitters were playing up, in concert with SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley). Making it a slow process. I got the blog finished and sent off to WordPress.
Off to get the Ablutions done. The knees were looking fine this morning, very angelic. Haha!
The feet were aching a lot on the soles. But the scratch from falling off of the step-ladder seemed to be clearing swiftly off into the ether.
I was medicating things, and thinking of going to the kitchen to make a brew, and the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived!
I took a photo from the thick-framed, light and view-blocking, impossible to get at to clean, designed especially for old folk by some misanthrope of an old person’s hating architect, window. As I was closing the window, the rain started to fall as if someone had suddenly turned on a tap. A bit of good fortune there with my timing, for once!
A minute or so later, and the Iceland delivery man calleth with the fodder replenishing foods. He came in the flat’s lobby, letting the door bang-to behind him. And kindly threw the carrier bags all over the floor for me.
The fridge was chocker blocker now! My concern was the freezer. With Iceland sending some bread, I had to get the bread and Minced Beef in there, somehow or other!
I’ll take them down at a reasonable time, to Jenny, Nora and Frank’s pad.
I added the last of the much-loved baby leeks to the pot. They are expensive to buy, but so special tasting.
Gave it a good stirring up, and left it on a low setting.
overloaded, and then got back on the computer; I’ve a lot to catch up on with the diary now.
I gave Jenny a call to see if it was alright for me to take the mince down to her.
Got through, and she okayed me taking the meat down to her. So, I got the mince from the fridge into a carrier, and I set off done in the lift to Jenny & Franks apartment. I took the waste bag box on the trolley with me, to take to the chute on the way down or up Which I forgot all about and brought back to the flat with me, Tsk! I got down nae bother and left the bag outside Jen’s flat, she’s left the money in an envelope on the door.
still had the waste bags in it! Wot a Plonka!
Made a brew of Glengettie and tried to change the size of the pictures on the Canon camera. But could find no option to do so? I took a photo leftwards, from the computer chair. I’d changed the ratio, hoping the size would change down with it, but, nope! Another failure. I’m very good at failing, you know! Somewhat of a doyen! Hey-ho!
I thought I’d try to make a Sainsbury’s order for next week; if any slots are available, that is. I managed to get one in for next Wednesday for 07:00 > 08:00hrs.
Had a look at the local YourArea newsletter thingy. The latest Coronavirus figures are looking a bit better… I think.
Recreation Ground cancelled due to ‘water issue’: The Nottingham and Shire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said the site at the Forest Park and Ride, just off Gregory Boulevard, had to be closed with short notice on the evening of Tuesday, January 26th.

Took the morning medications, and got the Health checks done. Started with the BP, on the Boots branded Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China. The SYS was acceptable at 159. The DIA at 70, and the PULSE a
reasonable 80, all looked fine, to me.
Had a wee-wee. Emailed the link, and read the YourArea Email Magazine. It looked like a sleety, wet, windy and cold couple of days coming up on the weather page. Shame! Not that it matters with me imprisoned in the flat of course. Tsk!
The latest Coronavavirus figures were easier to read this morning. The new cases had dropped by-19.4%. That was a little bit of encouragement.
The pictures to the right were on a page about the upcoming Storm Christoph. These were taken yesterday before the main storm arrives!
It was the DVT, Warfarin INR, test result sheets. It arrived yesterday, but I forgot about it, well you would do if it had dropped out of sight. Hehe! Great INR this time. Next test on 1st February. I was a little concerned about the dosages they had given me, not that it is up to me. But they seemed a bit high, 2½s and 3s? And a while until the next test. I hope it doesn’t get too high. Still, what the ‘eck!
I decided to get some nosh of some sort. I found a beef pastie in the fridge, I think it’s alright, it smells good. That and some tomatoes, mayhaps a packet of Frazzles with them, yes, that sounds okay. So I made it up, the innards are still stinging, and I’ve no idea why? The guts calmed down after I’d eaten?
Got the brekkers eaten. I took this photo with the camera balanced on my bulbous but wobbly belly while eating it! The breakfast, not the camera! Haha!
I got the handwashing washed rinsed, rung and hung. It cost me more time cleaning up where I’d spilt the soapy water all over. SSS had increased the severity of her attacks while I was doing the washing – then as I hung up the last item – she went all peaceful, and stopped bothering me now I was no longer an easy target… I’m losing it again here? Talking to the ailments! Well, I used some silent naughty words as well!
A glutton for punishment, I made up some waste bags, got them in the cardboard box on the walker, and got ready to go to the Waste-chute room.
and as I was depositing the small bags into the chute, I dropped one, I bent forward and down, using the trolley as support… and cracked my head on the iron chute cover on the way back up!

00:25hrs: I came back to semi-consiousness, the first thought was of the Iceland delivery that is due, and will they send any bread this time?
As I glanced at the notepad, I did my best to read what I had written down lat night. But it was a forlorn hope, although I do seem to recall having a cracking headache as I got my head down?
d body out of the second-hand, c1968 recliner, up onto my feet. This morning it was a relatively easy task. But the pains from Harold’s Haemorrhoids were as bad as they have been for many months. Caught my balance easily enough, and I wobbled over to the overnight-wee-wee-bucket.
I went to get a bottle of the made-up spring-water and cordial, for there was a thirst-and-a-half on me this morning. I took this photo from the light & view-blocking window of the morning view. The wind was howling, yet I could still hear the ‘Hum’ as well? As I closed the window, the rain started to come down.
I fetched the bottle and started the computer. I got the photos uploaded into CorelDraw, and titivated them top look a bit better than they did, which was not good.
By the time I’d got the photos done, and in the WordPress gallery, the two-litre bottle of spring water had all been drunk! I washed my hands and went to make up and refill the bottle. I also spotted that the airlessness thingy, supplied by Nottingham City Homes, showed a temperature and humidity as both being in the green, only just, but this
was far better than yesterday.
left-hand fingers. Usually (and regularly) he does this at night after I settle done in the c1968 recliner. But now he was having a ball with me, Gawd blimey, he was! I got the Phorpain gel, I and had a good rubbing in session. Of course, it doesn’t help ease the pain, but the doctors say the rubbing in helps? I realised I had not taken the morning medications yet, so I did along
The Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometer, gave a much better reading this time. SYS down to 156. DIA to 81, and the Pulse at 82.
The Chinese made Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer reading was a little higher, at 37.3°c, but it was still with a been background colour, so it must be within range methinks.
at the computer?
Then went on the WP comments. Next, the WordPress Reader section.
I got dressed properly, I and made another tasty brew of Glengettie tea.

Granglesknackersbuggerit!
I had a peep at the YourArea Emagazine, for updates to the Coronova locally and weather.
The weariness fell as I got the nosh prepared. This meal was so easy to prepare, nowt hot, so no worries over the oven not working. It’s a shame that Iceland failed to deliver the other three packs of cooked meat and the bread, else I’d be able to make more easy meals, especially as I enjoyed this one so much. The taste-rating of 8/10 given.

21:45hrs:
I got a bit of, well a fair bit of a shock when I took the Sphygmomanometer BP Health Checks! Not much!
I had a look at the recorded results for the last week.
all smelling nice! Even though it is too early to use the shower
room, then.
happy by the swelling patella.
hung up to dry on a coat hanger above the sink.
top, to take down later to the bins.
them.
I took a photograph from the balcony, of the end car park on Chestnut Walk. I thought it looked eerie enough to be a worthwhile picture.

01:40hrs: I reclaimed ersatz life, to be greeted by of the ‘Hum’, and the noise from the machinery on the roof, greeted me.

Got the computer on, and more Windows updates had arrived, they scare me you, know! Humph!
I engaged my famously unproductive Sherlock Holmesian Investigative mode. I pondered on why the wee-weeing was so persistent and powerful today. After a while considering and analysing all available data, I arrive at the following conclusion: I had obviously got the medications wrong somehow. With the Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345, Mansfield Road, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the launderette and pub, near the Lidl store, cocking up the pill pods and failing to put any covers on them, that caused me to drop all the pills on the floor. Got down on my knees to pick them up, but many have never been seen again, then calling for help for me to get back up off of the floor, and handed up guessing which was which of the Furesomide, Beta-Blockers and Codeine? Tsk!
I then pressed on with the diarying, got it finished. (Three wee-wees) Posted it off, Pinterested a photo, and went on the WordPress Reader. Then, onto Facebook catch-up, and decided to get the Health Checks done.
A mammoth wee-wee, there are getting longer again? How? Why?
The Coronavirus figures are now scarier than ever! I wish some of the folks who go out every day on the bus would read these figures. They could be spreading the virus every time? The UK figures shown were even more frightening to me.
I got some brekkers before it was time to get the ablutions seen to.
ailments were fair to me…ish. The dropsies were only about eight in total. Just the one cut shaving. The showering was Dizzy Dennis-free. Oh, yes! Just the once clout against the grab-rail, but a very minor one. Even the medicationalisationing went injury free! Not pain-free, but you can’t have everything. Hehehe!
I made up a coup;e pf rubbish bags and a recycling one, then got them on the box on the walker-guide, got to the doorway, and had to nip back to the wet-room for a wee-wee!

something else that we get free in our later years. Just thought I’d warn any whippersnappers who might have wandered onto this page by mistake! Not to mention the physical ailments.
As I put the kettle on, I noticed that sleet had joined in with the rain, the houses all around were getting a coating on their rooftops. A lot of rain still, so it shouldn’t settle. (Famous last words?) Seconds later I got the camera and took this shot of the view from the window. I may have to review my forecast now. Har-har!
I got the ready-made sweet potato shepherds pie out of the fridge. Then, I added some frenched red pepper, and spread them over the tray, and dolloped tons of Leicester grated cheese on top of it. Put in the oven, and set the timer that I cannot hear, but hopefully just might, for 20 minutes.
I took the evening medications with the meal, as recommended by the Doctor. Then got the meal served upon the tray. I added some sugar snap peas and grapes, and a very basic pot of custard and jelly dessert, that took me back to Brookfield Place, and being an ankle-snapper! Hehe!
I expect that being helped so generously by the unknown Angel, I’ll now be able to take a Codeine helped eased the pain from the teeth, and helped tremendously, in the enjoyment stakes. A flavour-rating of 9.2/10 for this feast of fodder! The taste-buds had been well satisfied. And ease of mind followed.

The sphygmomanometer, made in China for Boot’s, knocked back mt Smug-Mode a bit, the SYS was right up to 183, and that was just after the evacuation involuntary right leg neuropathic dancing bout. But the pulse was still lower and fine.
My Hong Kong manufactured Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer reading, was fine again, at 36.9°c, and in the green. The urge for a brew of Glengettie was yielded to this morning, as the Terence Toothache, didn’t feel so tender. (I am a Fool!)
CorelDraw, to make it a little lighter.
The ablutions were a complete blank.
Jane rang, rang back. Cooking Josie’s and made meals at the same time, for Josie and me.
gone over at some stage.
beef, the fatty so-called less than 5% fat packet I started last week and froze it.
Found this picture from the ablutioning.
Shattered and discombobulated as I was, I could not get back to sleep for hours, and could not think clearly, which helped me cope with the sudden sanity-testing, over-active Thought-Storms.

Ah, well, at least it got me up and hobbling around. The toothache woke up simultaneously as I did (Ah, maybe that is what made me wake up suddenly?) I had the customary morning wee-wee, and it was a powerful one this time. With the teeth being so painful, no tea had an uncooled drink of spring water with a squirt of lime juice in it, I thought it would be less hurtful than hot tea – I was wrong! Tsk!
The teeth were still too painful for me to risk a hot drink, despite my wanting one, the craving had to wait.

I took the medications and started the Health Checks. The SYS has at long last, come down a bit, to 159. Far better than the160’s and 180’s it’s been lately. The pulse had tumbled as well, from 92 down to only 72!
The
I got the chicken pasty out and not a plastic plate wit high edges (to catch the crumbs), and returned to the computer, so I could eat the nosh with the plate in an open drawer while typing this blog. You’ve got to admit, I sure do get some stupid ideas!
Ablutionisationing time arrived later today. The right leg had lost a lot of fluid content, was still pale, Clopidogrel marks were returning. The old ankle ulcer was getting a smidge, more colourful methinks. A new, mark or two developing. The Throne evacuation was messy, but not soft. If that makes sense. But virtually pain-free.
Hours spent on doing this blog, until, the sudden arrival of hunger!

23:20hrs: It’s getting back to normal now; I woke up, involuntarily passed wind, and needed a wee-wee. Accompanied by the almost ever-present SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley), and near-agony from BPB (Back-Pain-Brenda).
I adopted my investigative-mode to try to work out why I was running short on the Codeines.

The new Chinese made, Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer, showed a reading of 36.8°c. Which shows as being in the green, as acceptable! Compared to yesterdays reading of 37.5 in the red, it is a good one.
I stopped to make another brew of Glengettie, and had, wait for it, two wee-wees, one after the other?
Made yet another mug of tea, Co-op 99 this time, and hard to believe, but I had another weaker wee-wee!
with. Hehehe!
Then, back to the wet room, to medicate the areas in need, that for some reason I’d not done earlier. I took the clothes with me to change into after the medicationalisationing was done. And the landline rang and flashed!
I made up some waste bags and took them to the rubbish chute. Returned and getting the three-wheeler in the flat, backwards cause it’s usually easier, I caught my ankle bone against the door edge. I recall saying something like, “Well, blow me!”, as I laughed off the incident, as the right leg went into a mini-dance routine, and I hit my toe against the bottom panel. Luckily, me being a heroic man of phenomenal bravery, I was not bothered in the least bit, of course! Ahem!
Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the pub, near the launderette and Lidl store, and have no lids to allow the tablets to spill all over the place and get lost! Deana told me it was time to take down the Christmas cards, so I did. I took this photo earlier to remind me to ask her, cunning, eh?
Well shattered now, I’ll try again to make a meal that I can eat all of.
I was originally, going to have a steak slice, but I had to make do with the Morrison substituted chicken and bacon pie. Didn’t find or taste any bacon in it, mind. The Leicester cheesy potatoes came out alright. The Spanish tomatoes were not too bad for once. The specially-burnt garden peas tasted fine! And, the lemon dessert went down a treat.
