Aspergillosis Inchies Diary – Sunday 31 January 2021

TFZer Lillie, and her Butler having a shoe clearout?

Sunday 31 January 2021

Scots Gaelic: Didòmhnaich 31 Faoilleach 2021

I woke several times, and I thought I’d start keeping a record of future ones on the notepad.

22:50hrs: Woke wearily, passed wind, and fell back to sleep.

23:55hrs: Woke, feeling tired. Nodded off again.

00:10hrs: Woke, thought about giving up. Passed-wind. Fell asleep.

01:30hrs: Woke, coughed, and drifted off again.

01:45hrs: Woke, Anne Gyna bother, back to kip again.

02:30hrs: Woke, Anne Gyna bad, more wind passed, and the need of a wee-wee, finally forced me into semi-activity. I rose, hauling my stupendously wobbly-bellied body up onto the feet from the Grotty, £300, second-hand, c1968, unsteady, not-working, incommodious, excruciatingly beige-coloured, haemorrhoid-testing recliner, and caught my balance. Anne Gyna was as painful as she’s been for months. I waddled over to the overnight wee-wee bucket and had a wee-wee of the SP (Short-Powerfull) type. No pre or after-dribbling.

I then took the evening medications I’d missed, last night. Putting in a strictly as needed only (two a day), “Advise Your Doctor”, Nitroglycerin sublingual tablet, letting it dissolve fully. Next, an extra pain-killer. Anne Gyna was a right pain this morning! I must remember to take the morning doses later.

With it being so long since taking these, I double-checked the instructions: A; Sit down – B: Place tablet under tongue. – C: Wait for Five-minutes. D: Do not swallow the tablet. E: If not better, repeat A to C. – F: No improvement? Call 999. I did it right then, now carry on and see how things go.

I was feeling proper shackered, but not low or miserable with it, just drained. Sweet Morpheus has not been kind to me these last few nights. And with Anne Gyna kicking off, a smidge of ‘feeling-sorry for-myselfness’ lingered. Hey-Ho!

I got the computer going, and I threw my attention at getting the updating of yesterdays IT, done. The wee-wees continued throughout, but each one was of the WUNT (Weak-Unwilling-Negligible-Trickling) style now. At long last, I got the updating finished. Posted it off, emailed the link, and did some Facebooking.

Then. I made the first brew of Glengettie of the day.

Sorted some waste bags out and got them in the box on the walker. I’ll need to take these to the waste chute later on, but must get the computing done first, then prepping Josie’s meals to be done. Oh, I can’t go out in case the delivery arrives… The Thought Storms were at it again!

Tried again to clean the crock-pot basin. I thought I’d done a decent job, but when I put the bowel back in the slow-cooker, I realised I hadn’t done a half-decent job cleaning it at all! I had another go, but the mushroom skins were glued to the porcelain! I put it in soak again. Humph!

I went onto the WordPress Reader section. Next, onto the WP comments. I’d missed these yesterdays, Tsk! It took me over an hour, but I was just glad I’d not missed them again, and I replied to them all. Sorry that it was late, folks!

Then a wee-wee, the kettle filled and turned on, and the moon suddenly came out from the clouds.

That did it – I resolved to get a decent picture of the moon, this time, surely one of them might come out alright? I think since I lot the Nikon, and night shots being so frustratingly bad with the Canon, I may have gone into withdrawal symptoms time. Hahaha! I rushed to get the camera before the clouds hid the moon.

Had I took these with the much-missed and lamented Nikon, I’d have thought they were average at best. But with the Canon, they were much better than usual.

Anne Gyna kicked off again with a venom!

I got the Health Checks done then. Starting with the Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometer. At least the SYS had fallen from yesterday, down to 159!

The made in Hong Kong, by the Chinese Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer, showed another decent level of 36.5°c, well in the acceptable green area.

Anne Gyna pains may need me to summon some help if she doesn’t calm down soon. It’s such a struggle to concentrate with the stabbing all around the ribs and chest areas. I dare not take another Nitroglycerin tablet now, with only two being allowed per day, if I did imbibe another one, there would be nothing effective to try if she is still as bad tonight… Poor old thing. I might have a search to see if I have any spare Bisoprolol (Beta-blockers they are used to help treat high blood pressure, angina and heart failure), and take it now, cause things are getting a little nervous-making with Anne Gyna. Yes, I’ll have a look for any spare.

Aha, I found one. I got sidetracked in searching, made up another waste-bag, and sorted out the kitchen towels that had dropped on the floor? Hehe!

I took it, and made a note on the pad, that if things were alright in the morning, not to take the regular one, but keep it safe if needed later on! Fingers crossed, this will ease things a little. I made a brew and took these snaps of the view outside. First a downward photo of the bottom field with the ice and frost looking dodgy. Then another one of the Chestnut Walk car park.

I turned off the computer, checked around that I’d not left anything on or off that shouldn’t be, and got off to get the ablutions done. I needed the Porcelain Throne anyway.

As I got the shower turned on as I entered the wet room, I realised that the ear-cleaning thingies may arrive while I was inside. So, I returned to check on the computer to see what the ETA was. Ah, they may come soon… I decided to skip the showering to save time.

I utilised the Throne first. It was giant meatballs this time. Bloody painful as well. Still, no mess and no bleeding, so, no complaints.

The teeth cleaning did not go very well, Toothache Thomas was angry. The shaving went average, the two activities saw only four dropsies! I seriously considered going into Smug-Mode, but you know my luck, so I didn’t!

The legs ankles and feet did look okay, though there might be a bit of water-retention building up again, I’ve not had that for weeks now.

Cathys Cartilage was the only ailment that was playing up badly. She does that every now and then, for no apparent reason… I suppose that’s why I’ve given her a female ailment name. Hahaha! Only joking! I should have called Austin, after my Allegro, or Estelle after my Skoda that kept playing up?

When I came out to get dressed, I checked the delivery status on the Amazon site. It didn’t look like it had moved to me. The ETA was the same. Oh, dear, not another sleep-stopping delivery time?  Please! Grobbleknackercraps!

I couldn’t find the wristwatch tp put back on. A look in all rooms and the wet room too failed to locate it. Not to fret, it’ll show up later somewhere. I don’t mind, but these Rolex ones ain’t cheap yer know… oh, alright then… I got it from the second-hand charity shop in Sherwood when I moved into the flats, for £2, Hehehe! Within a month it needed a new battery for £18, and a new strap £10. It’s also gone rusty, yet still keeps going!

On the bright side, I’ve just noticed that Anne Gyna is easing off a lot now! Yahoo!

I got the handwashing done in the kitchen sink. I gave it a lot of the Wilko Yan-Ling Chinese made fabric conditioner as I rinsed it out. Got it all done, wrung and hung to drip-dry above the sink

Then, the first proper Accifauxpa of the day! As I turned away from the sink, loss of Balance Brian attacked and momentarily confused, as I started to go down, instead of grabbing the sink unit, I got hold of the long dustpan brush handle. Which, weighing about 4 ounces and made of plastic, surprisingly didn’t afford me any support at all!

Why you may ask, didn’t I grab the sink then? That’s a problem with these sudden losses of balance, the judgement of distances goes to pot at the same time. They are not very good even when things are normal, Tsk!

Anyway, I landed on the right knee – Cathy Cartilages.  I think I may have invented some new curse word in the press! Har-har!

This all put me behind on the Sunday Chef duties, and I concentrated on getting Josie’s meal prepped and served up. It looked passable to me, and I still got it served to her door around the usual hour of midday! Smug-Mode gave way to!

Josie opened the door, said the meal was too big, said something else I couldn’t catch, smiled and shot back indoor with her dinner and weekly carrier with the treats. I think she wanted to get back to the hone with her Sister, my EQ said so, anyways.

I then got back to the flat, cleaned up the mess from hurried meal prepping, had a weak wee-wee, washed, and went on the computer. Cartilage Cathy was still upset with me, but Anne Gyna was much kinder now.

Afterwards, I sat a few moments, pondering on the food situation, I decided to see what slots were available for Iceland. I checked the Amazon tracker first, Same ETA, same place on the progress slide? This is how yesterdays went, and you know how late that came! Oh, dearie me!

When I opened the Iceland site, I found a Priority slot, for Saturday 6th February, 06:00 > 08:00hrs. All selected? So, I made an order, but it was all hit and miss. Four things I wanted were not available – how do they know that this early? Hmm? I got the order in and received a confirmation via email.

I spent a few hours updating this blog. The weariness was beginning to show itself, it is beyond my usual head-down time. Now the struggle to stay awake begins!

Unbelievable, the tracker is at the same position with the exact ETA, as it was hours ago? I’ll have a look to see if there is an email about it… hang, on…

An hour later.

I do believe the progress bar has moved a tiny little bit. But it could be me not thinking that it cannot have stayed in the same place for so long?

But, I waffle, to keep awake methinks.

I got the Chilli-Con-Carne and meatballs in Chilli sauce into the pan, added some peas, and keep nipping through to stir and check on it. No fresh stuff left now, the onions, leeks, carrots and peppers have gone, or thrown away through ageing, Hahaha!

I found today’s figures for local Coronavirus cases. Mayhaps a teeny-weeny bit uplifting? No?

Okay!

Oh, check the food… Turned it off and put the lid on. Not only might sleep not be arriving, but the meal may not be either at this rate, Ama-late-again-zon, that should be their new name!

Still no movement on the Tracker slider from hours ago?

I vainly and stupidly looked outside, thinking perhaps the track has broken and the man may be coming now… Humph!

The cold crisp air of the night brought me back to reality – he’s not going to come for hours yet… even if then! Still, I managed to take two half-decent night shots for once.

I’m clinging on to find a Silver Lining in all this, but, no chance.

Sleep, precious sleep has been destroyed through no fault of my own (I think), for several days, or I should say nights. I’m jiggered! Then I found this. Humph!

Ah! the tracker has changed! I hope it comes soon, I need food and sleep in that order. Shouldn’t be long now, though.

Then, when I was getting my hopes up for food and sleep…

The message on the tracker changed to this one ‘The driver has to make a few more deliveries on his way to your address’, that made me go up to ‘Defcon Three’ status, in the Fed-Up Stakes.

Hahaha!

Frustrated a bit, and so very weary, I summoned the strength to get the thin green quilt hand washed. I got it done, rinsed, wrung and hung above the sink to drip dry. It should be ready by about August.

Then moved the made in Myanmar (Burmese), zip-up jacket, to near the wall heater.

I kept checking on the cooking in between doing the other things.

Then the door chimes rang out… it was Josie, at this time of night, returning the food tray and things from her meal. I tried again to explain to her to please not call after 15:00hrs, that is when I go to get my head down.

Poor gal looked confused. Obviously, I am having to pay for my Sunday chef services with lack of rest. I must have baffled her more, as I explained that had I not been up waiting for the delivery, you would have woke me up again. I’m not sure she understood me. At least she said she enjoyed the meal and treats.

I missed some of course but tried to record where the ‘few’ deliveries I saw recorded were made on the map. Boy, I was mentally shattered!

I just hope I can cope with using the wax-removal after all this hassle.

Eventually, the delivery arrived. Far too tired to do anything with it at this late (for me) hour. I opened it and put it in the second medical drawer down.

Got the Chilli-Con-Carne and meatballs served up, and ate it with some brown bread thins. Really tired, but still enjoyed the meal.

A Flavour-Rating of 7.8/10 for this, well-cooked effort. Even without the missing leeks, capsicums etc.! I got the pots in the sink soaking.

At last, I got down to rest, I fell asleep so soon. Unbelievably I kept making up repeatedly again. The sixth night of this, now!

Zulu: NgoLwesihlanu Ngomhlaka 29 Januwari 2021

01:40hrs: I’d been waking up all through the night on and off, the actual sleep obtained might have been two-hours; in a few minutes here and there mode. My body clock told was on target as I shone the torch at the clock.

I began to fumble my way out of the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, sickeningly-beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety recliner, and as I was catching my balance, and eyeing up the distance to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket) I realised that I did not want, or need a wee-wee! Well, there’s a thing! It must be months since I’ve woken up and not had to go wee-weeing? Threw me out a bit at first. Hehehe!

Slightly non-plussed, I wandered into the kitchen and got the kettle on. Made a brew of Glengettie, and got the Health Checks gone. Things seemed all out of sync with me not wee-weeing, somehow.

The blood pressure was taken on the Boots Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China. The SYS at 169.

The Chinese made by Shenzhen Relee Electronic & Technology Co. Ltd, contactless thermometer, sold by Amazon, gave a satisfactory reading of 36.7°c and showing in the green.

I took the morning medications, musing over whether I’d missed taking the Furesomide earlier, and that was why I didn’t need a leak?

I limped to the computer, got it booted up, and the innards insisted that I visit the Porcelain Throne, so I did! A delay in the actions starting again, so I had a go at the crossword puzzle that I was struggling with yesterday – I’m still struggling with it now. Hehe!

Constipation Kondrad was a winner this morning, he thrashed Trotsky Terence easily. I’ve missed the pain of passing torpedos lately, but they were back now. Gruellingly slow and butt-clenchingly hurtful! Then the main motion was followed by a wee-wee, that was of the RTV (Reluctant Tinkling Variety. It took that long, I had another crack at the crossword! Still didn’t get a single answer though!

The fetched the bucket emptied cleaned it and sanitised contact areas in the wet room. Back to the main junk room, I thought how cold it was, then realised I’d got the new so-called, Warm & Comfortable lounge pants that were delivered yesterday, on.  I was not impressed.

I got the updating of the Thursday diary completed. The ailments were not too bad to me at all! Posted it off, and sent the email link. Then onto Facebook catching-up. Visited the WordPress Reader Section, and realised as I went to make a brew, all that work and time, and no more wee-weeing? Something amiss here?

I made the brew, taking this kitchen view photograph as the light was just beginning to break the darkness. I checked the incoming Emails, mostly unsolicited.

Found the Coronavirus local figures, new cases down a bit more, but they are still coming, so let’s hope for the bestest!

Time to get the ablutions sorted out. Off to the wet room.

Blooming marvellous session! From going in, to coming out, I had only seven dropsies! Yes! And, there was nae bother with the teeth-cleaning.  Just one cut shaving! Fair enough the showering let me down a bit; one clout of the head when I dropped the loofah, and a toe-stubbing against the trolley wheel. Nasty one!

However, overall, a smashing session! Smug-Mode Adopted!

I’d accrued some new pot-marks and spots again, though, to join the one on the head yesterday. Tsk!

I got the waste bags made up and added them to the ones already in the bag on the walker-guide. And off to the waste-room.

A deliveryman was taking a new cooker into one of the flats at the other end of the lobby. I got into the chute room and deposited the many bags down the funnel. Injury and Accifauxpas free, too!

Back to the apartment, and went on CorelDraw to try and make a few graphics up for the upcoming templates. Still, unfortunately, at this time, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters started to fail and return. Still, I got a few done, took me far to many hours, though.

I was feeling a little drained mentally already today. Not Good! Decided to have a read of the NCH Magazine.

This did not last long, due to my nodding off, and having a dream I could have done very well without suffering… Hehehe! Taken from notes scribbled when I woke up, not many actual memories. So some are as confusing to me as well. Still, I thought worth mentioning for the reminders’ humour content: I was in heaven in a massive queue of applicants at St Peter’s gate…

All dressed in white – People in pink arrived, with facemasks on… they were those not killed by the Coronavirus and were separated and sent down different passages…

I was taken in a blue bubble – and told because I was not in the EU at the time of my demise, I’d have to pay a surcharge to get into Heaven – then they put my life on a monitor screen, gave me a button, and told me to press it each time I felt I’d done anything that I think would have please the Lord, left me to it … The monitor exploded, and it reminded me of when the beef pastie blew-up the other day…

I was in a giant pie, slowly cooking, I could smell the chilli… As the flesh began to melt and fall off of the bones, oddly not bothering me… I woke up in a hospital bed of sorts, but I was chained in it, and electrified barbed-wire circled the cubicle? At the end of the ward, a nurse was sat behind a machine gun next, covering us all.

That is all I could decipher from my scribbled notes. (I had to guess at some words) It really annoyed me that I could not decipher the last sentence on the notepad. Humph!

I woke, in need of a rare-today, wee-wee. Wrote the notes, and had a weak-unwilling wee-wee.

I noticed how cold the new Amazon sold lounge pants were. I was a little disappointed. Be fine for Summer, I suppose, but not February.  Brrr! I bought these because they said Soft & Warm. Fibbers!

I discerned that the model they used had remarkable similarities to my physical attributes. (Ahem!) The only slight differences being; He is taller, younger, more muscular, flat-bellied, had hair on his head and chest, and was more attractive to women.

I got the meal prepped and served up—a little better this time. The minced beef was not so fatty. The meatballs were grand tasting, the potatoes okay, the last of the leeks and onion were tasty enough. I got the chilli-flavouring right for once, too. I defrosted the wholemeal deli rolls from the freezer to soak the gravy up, they were decent enough—flavour rating: 7/10.

Washed the saucepan and slow-cooker, and left the pots and cutlery to soak in the sink. Down in the recliner, and had the longest sleep, unfortunately, a broken-often one, that I’ve had for a while.

ZZZ!

Idiotski Inchies Dairy, Wednesday 27th January 2021

Wednesday 27th January 2021

Welsh: Dydd Mercher 27ain Ionawr 2021

02:00hrs: I woke wearily, amazed at having slept for five hours straight! I still felt weary and may have stayed where I was, like a slugabed, were it not for needing a wee-wee. Which brought on concerns about Little Inchies fungal lesion, what condition it will be in. Signs were favourable, though, no stinging at the moment! I didn’t use the nocturnal wee-wee bucket but went off to the wet room to take the wee. Just if there was any bleeding to be sorted out.

It was an SSAO (Sprinkly-Spraying-All-Over) mode affair. There had been some bleeding, but the PPs showed me it was not fresh, so that was a little cheering. It took me a long while to clean up the sprinkly splashes left on the floor, WC, and me! Washed up, and made my way to the kitchenette, and got the kettle on. Took the morning medications, and made the brew of Glengettie. I seemed to be plodding along, and the brain was constantly catching up with me!  Things, actions and thoughts seemed to be on auto-pilot? No there way of putting it really?

With getting up so late, and the Iceland order arriving early, I didn’t have much time to update the diary. I got the Health Checks done first. The Chinese made by Shenzhen Relee Electronic & Technology Co. Ltd, contactless thermometer, showed a slightly higher reading, of 37.0°c.

The Boots branded Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China, had a high SYS of 185. However, it’s done this before occasionally, I may try retaking the BP later, just to be on the safe side. That’s if I have time and remember to!

Onto the computer, and grafted away like a good un, getting the updating sorted out. Not a lot of work needed, which was a good thing, because nasty, naughty Niccodemus’s Neurotransmitters were playing up, in concert with SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley). Making it a slow process. I got the blog finished and sent off to WordPress.

Emailed the link, did some Facebooking, and visited the comments section. Many breaks for multiple wee-wees were taken. Every one of the same SSAO type and all was followed frustratingly by excessive PMAD (Post-Micturition-After-Dribbling), which cost me a lot of time.

Off to get the Ablutions done. The knees were looking fine this morning, very angelic. Haha!

The teeth and shaving once again went blood-free! Yee-Haa!

The feet were aching a lot on the soles. But the scratch from falling off of the step-ladder seemed to be clearing swiftly off into the ether.

The old ankle ulcer markings had changed a little, no worse, just spread out a bit more up the leg.

I was medicating things, and thinking of going to the kitchen to make a brew, and the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived!

It was another victory for Constipation Konrad over Trotsky Terence in the DESB (Daily-Evacuation-Stakes-Battle). No bleeding from the rear-end nor the fungal lesion, the evacuated product was not messy, the meat-balls were far larger this morning; thus, the session was longer and a tad more painful. Overall, not too bad, I’ve had plenty of worse ones.

The applications of the medications were the central bothersome aspect. The Phorpain gelling of Cartilage Cathy, the applying ointment on the fungal lesion, and Harold Haemorrhoids Germoleneing were the worst.

A silver lining though; I found the dye markers that I couldn’t find the other day with me taking the photographs on the right. I’d taken them into the wet room, to touch up the scratches on the hated sock-glide. They were probably caused by my falling off it, throwing it at the wall, or landing on it when I took a tumble. Hehehe!

I took a photo from the thick-framed, light and view-blocking, impossible to get at to clean, designed especially for old folk by some misanthrope of an old person’s hating architect, window. As I was closing the window, the rain started to fall as if someone had suddenly turned on a tap. A bit of good fortune there with my timing, for once!

A minute or so later, and the Iceland delivery man calleth with the fodder replenishing foods. He came in the flat’s lobby, letting the door bang-to behind him. And kindly threw the carrier bags all over the floor for me.

I thanked him, slipped him a can of plonk, and off he went letting the door slam again behind him. I’m hoping he didn’t wake anyone up, cause it was about 06:30hrs at the time. Oh, dear, I fear! I took the things through to the kitchen.

The fridge was chocker blocker now! My concern was the freezer. With Iceland sending some bread, I had to get the bread and Minced Beef in there, somehow or other!

I arranged with Jenny, to buy the four packs to get the special price, and we will split them between us, two each.

I had a heck of a job getting them all in. I had to throw some bits out to make room, but nowt I was keen on anyway, so nae bother.

I’ll take them down at a reasonable time, to Jenny, Nora and Frank’s pad.

I got some of the mince into the crock-pot to make more room in the freezer. I pondered over how to go about making the Chilli Con Carne.

I added the last of the much-loved baby leeks to the pot. They are expensive to buy, but so special tasting. Then I added some anchovy Squid sauce and BBQ salt, and two oxo cubes, along with some gravy granules, and some chilli powder.

Gave it a good stirring up, and left it on a low setting.

I hope it comes out alright. I can add the last of the yellow capsicums later on.

I checked that the freezer was not too overloaded, and then got back on the computer; I’ve a lot to catch up on with the diary now.

The wee-wees are getting a little stronger now, not painful, but an effort to pass, though. The PMAD (Post-Micturition-After-Dribbling), still follows each visit. Tsk!

I gave Jenny a call to see if it was alright for me to take the mince down to her.

Got through, and she okayed me taking the meat down to her. So, I got the mince from the fridge into a carrier, and I set off done in the lift to Jenny & Franks apartment. I took the waste bag box on the trolley with me, to take to the chute on the way down or up Which I forgot all about and brought back to the flat with me, Tsk! I got down nae bother and left the bag outside Jen’s flat, she’s left the money in an envelope on the door.

As mentioned earlier, I came back to the late and was putting the trolley-guide in the corner of the hallway, and realised it still had the waste bags in it! Wot a Plonka! I got the waste down the chute, and was on the way back, without any hassle, Whoopsies, Accifauxpas or injuries. I nearly went into a Smug-mode, but decided it would not be wise so early in the day, Haha!

I don’t know how I hadn’t noticed before, but the end wall looked more like it had been graffitied than painted?

I got inside and took another wee-wee, they were all the same up to now, repetitive, and an effort, but not painful at all, followed by the PMAD. Humph!

Made a brew of Glengettie and tried to change the size of the pictures on the Canon camera. But could find no option to do so? I took a photo leftwards, from the computer chair. I’d changed the ratio, hoping the size would change down with it, but, nope! Another failure. I’m very good at failing, you know! Somewhat of a doyen! Hey-ho!

I thought I’d try to make a Sainsbury’s order for next week; if any slots are available, that is. I managed to get one in for next Wednesday for 07:00 > 08:00hrs.

The weariness is dawning again. Then again. I’ve been a busy little bee this morning, so it’s to be expected, methinks.

Had a look at the local YourArea newsletter thingy. The latest Coronavirus figures are looking a bit better… I think.

Covid vaccination appointments at Forest Recreation Ground cancelled due to ‘water issue’: The Nottingham and Shire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said the site at the Forest Park and Ride, just off Gregory Boulevard, had to be closed with short notice on the evening of Tuesday, January 26th. It had only just opened over the weekend on Saturday, January 23. Speaking of the closure in a tweet at 7pm, a spokesperson for the CCG said: “Forest Recreation Ground vaccination site has had to close due to a water issue. All appointments for this evening have been cancelled.” Well, fancy that!

I’ll check the minced beef and veg in the crock-pot. It’s been on for over three hours, but not ready yet. I’ll keep an eye on it, I’m feeling a smidge peckish, too!

It’s no good, I’ve got to sit down and see how things go – not to sleep I hope with the mince cooking. Sat quietly for a while, then went to check the mince, ready now. Got the meal served up.

I was not impressed with the beef at all. I’ve lost the photograph I took of the meal. Flavour Rating: 5/10. I may have overcooked it?

I settled down, took the evening medications, and watched two old ‘Tales of the unexpected on channel 11. After staying awake all the way through the two programmes, I drifted of to sleep. Another evil regularly waking up with a start night.

Thursday 21st January 2021

Russian: Четверг, 21 января 2021 г

At the ungodly hour of 23:40hrs, as I stirred reluctantly back into consciousness, I heard a cacophony of noise. The howling wind, the noise of machinery from the rooftop, and over them both, the ‘Hum’! Which, unfathomably got on my wick a lot more than usual?

The need for a wee-wee quickly followed my awakening. After yesterday’s calamitous wee-weeing, I took no chances, and I began to haul my enormous, sebaceous, blubbery, lardaceous, clinically obese, wobbly-bellied body out of the c1968 recliner, and up onto my feet. Catching my balance was easy enough today, and took the few paces towards the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket).

I found the metal pencil sharpener en route, as I stood on it! Argh! But no time for pain cursing or wailing, the wee-wee took precedence. T’was of a PSS (Persistent, Short, Sharp) mode, with little if any, PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling). A vast improvement compared to Wednesday’s wince-making wee-weeing! Much shorter, too.

I poddled through to the wet room to empty, clean, sanitise the bucket, wash my hands, disinfected the NWWB and returned the pale to near the computer, as I anticipate it may still be needed.

Took the morning medications, and got the Health checks done. Started with the BP, on the Boots branded Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China. The SYS was acceptable at 159. The DIA at 70, and the PULSE a reasonable 80, all looked fine, to me.

Moved onto the temperature taking, with the Chinese-made, by Shenzhen-Relee Electronic & Technology Co. Ltd, contactless thermometer. 36.8°c again, okay!

I go the Wednesday post updated, in record time – then again, there was little to add, Hehe! I posted it off to WordPress, then Emailed the link and Pinterested a few photos. Had a wee-wee, and went on Facebook catching-up.

Had a wee-wee. Emailed the link, and read the YourArea Email Magazine. It looked like a sleety, wet, windy and cold couple of days coming up on the weather page. Shame! Not that it matters with me imprisoned in the flat of course. Tsk!

The latest Coronavavirus figures were easier to read this morning. The new cases had dropped by-19.4%. That was a little bit of encouragement.

The pictures to the right were on a page about the upcoming Storm Christoph. These were taken yesterday before the main storm arrives!

I sorted the WP comments, then went on the WP reader section.  I made a mug of Glengettie tea, and I pondered about getting some breakfast. And the stomach stabbings started again. I tried to pass water, but nothing was available?

Washed the hands, then as I turned to get the milk out of the fridge, I lost balance and went down on one knee! I knew immediately I was in trouble, the wet warm sensation in the PPs, told me that something was leaking in the lower regions. It was Little Inchies Fungal Lesion, I’d pulled or squashed something in my struggle to get back up[right! Globerations! Off to the wet-room. Heck of a job, I stopped the bleeding alright, but the pain of applying the Corticosteroid cream was pretty severe.

I got back and made the brew. On the way back to the main junk room and the computer, I spotted some paperwork had dropped on the floor under the flat-airer. I got the long picker-upperer and retrieved it from the floor.

It was the DVT, Warfarin INR, test result sheets. It arrived yesterday, but I forgot about it, well you would do if it had dropped out of sight. Hehe! Great INR this time. Next test on 1st February. I was a little concerned about the dosages they had given me, not that it is up to me. But they seemed a bit high, 2½s and 3s? And a while until the next test. I hope it doesn’t get too high. Still, what the ‘eck!

I decided to get some nosh of some sort. I found a beef pastie in the fridge, I think it’s alright, it smells good. That and some tomatoes, mayhaps a packet of Frazzles with them, yes, that sounds okay. So I made it up, the innards are still stinging, and I’ve no idea why? The guts calmed down after I’d eaten?

Got the brekkers eaten. I took this photo with the camera balanced on my bulbous but wobbly belly while eating it! The breakfast, not the camera! Haha!

I poddled off to get the Ablutions done, putting a long-sleeved shirt, jammie-bottoms, socks and a bobble-hat in the sink to soak for washing later.

The ablutionalisationing went a lot better than yesterday. There was no bother cleaning the teggies. The shaving offered up only two tiny cuts, despite the occasional attempt by SSS (Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley) to get me to cut my or an ear off! Hahaha!

The showering was fine, until I stepped out to fetch a new bottle of lemon gel, and gave myself a toe-stubbing. Of course, it didn’t bother me or end up with me swearing and cursing. Oh, no!

I had to go delicately with the medicationalising of Little Inchies Fungal Lesion, and Harold’s Haemmorhoids. (Still stung a bit!) The skin was a smidge paler than usual, but the pins and plates looked pretty good!

I got the handwashing washed rinsed, rung and hung. It cost me more time cleaning up where I’d spilt the soapy water all over. SSS had increased the severity of her attacks while I was doing the washing – then as I hung up the last item – she went all peaceful, and stopped bothering me now I was no longer an easy target… I’m losing it again here? Talking to the ailments! Well, I used some silent naughty words as well!

You just can’t find a decent cheap psychiatrist nowadays! Hehe!

The sun kept coming out and going in behind the clouds, I fetched the camera, but only got one shot of the prettiness of changing sunshine.

A glutton for punishment, I made up some waste bags, got them in the cardboard box on the walker, and got ready to go to the Waste-chute room.

A chap working in the lift lobby had to move his stuff out of the way, for me to get out into the main lobby.

Then another worker had to move his stuff at the far end so I could get into the waste room. I felt a right nuisance. But the lads were okay about it.

I got inside, and as I was depositing the small bags into the chute, I dropped one, I bent forward and down, using the trolley as support… and cracked my head on the iron chute cover on the way back up!

A series of stars and flashes, but I stayed up on my feet, okay. A slightly dizzier than usual Imchcock made his way back to the flat, disturbing the workers again.

Not feeling up to much now. I tried working on this blog, but I decided it best to get the PM tablets took or are that taken? With an extra painkiller, and sit quietly for a while with a mug of tea.

I put a Heartbeat DVD in and watched some of it. I’d hoped to have a little nod-off, then get back to CorelDrawing… But no!

I drifted off into slumber, and woke up SIX hours later! Headache, almost gone!

Wednesday 20th January 2021

Swahili: Jumao tarehe 20 Januari 2021

00:25hrs: I came back to semi-consiousness, the first thought was of the Iceland delivery that is due, and will they send any bread this time?

As I glanced at the notepad, I did my best to read what I had written down lat night. But it was a forlorn hope, although I do seem to recall having a cracking headache as I got my head down?

Then, as is a regular occurrence, the instant, urgent need for a wee-wee arrived. And the diurnally battle to get my flubber-blubber-bellied body out of the second-hand, c1968 recliner, up onto my feet. This morning it was a relatively easy task. But the pains from Harold’s Haemorrhoids were as bad as they have been for many months. Caught my balance easily enough, and I wobbled over to the overnight-wee-wee-bucket.

Another record broke here, I reckon. I passed more in this one visit than ever before! It took me so long, I thought I’d never stop! I was baffled at how so much liquid could have come from the stomach. (Then again, confusedness does come to me so easily)

I went to get a bottle of the made-up spring-water and cordial, for there was a thirst-and-a-half on me this morning. I took this photo from the light & view-blocking window of the morning view. The wind was howling, yet I could still hear the ‘Hum’ as well? As I closed the window, the rain started to come down.

Heckithump! Back to the bucket for another wee-wee! Another marathon session. Not blasting, but I had no control over the flow, on and on it went again. Now, the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket) needed emptying. A big bucket, it is too! I emptied and sanitised it, and washed the hands. I replaced it near the computer, cause it was obviously going to be needed again. Tsk!

I fetched the bottle and started the computer. I got the photos uploaded into CorelDraw, and titivated them top look a bit better than they did, which was not good.

Five minutes into doing this, and yet another incumbent wee-wee was needed. Not quite as long this one, but it started to hurt a bit towards the end, and for the first time, there was some PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling)

By the time I’d got the photos done, and in the WordPress gallery, the two-litre bottle of spring water had all been drunk! I washed my hands and went to make up and refill the bottle. I also spotted that the airlessness thingy, supplied by Nottingham City Homes, showed a temperature and humidity as both being in the green, only just, but this was far better than yesterday.

I pressed on with the WordPressing and got the Tuesday diary updated. Nicodemus and SSS were both being so kind to me… But of all ailments, Colin Cramps was giving me bother in the left-hand fingers. Usually (and regularly) he does this at night after I settle done in the c1968 recliner. But now he was having a ball with me, Gawd blimey, he was! I got the Phorpain gel, I and had a good rubbing in session. Of course, it doesn’t help ease the pain, but the doctors say the rubbing in helps? I realised I had not taken the morning medications yet, so I did along with an extra Zapain that the mystery tenant angel gave me.

The Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometer, gave a much better reading this time. SYS down to 156. DIA to 81, and the Pulse at 82.

This was a pleasant change for me.

The Chinese made Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer reading was a little higher, at 37.3°c, but it was still with a been background colour, so it must be within range methinks.

Oh, dearie me! Back to the NWWB, and getting fed-up with it (Hehehe!), I had one more marathon session. This time, there was no PMD (Pre-Micturition-Dribbling) or PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling). Another long session. Washed the hands, and noted that Harold’s Haemorrhoids were getting even more painful, why? I suppose it’s because I’m doing such a lot of sitting down at the computer?

While I was up, I made some waste bags and got them into the box on the three-wheeler walker in the hallway.

As I got on with the updating, I also noticed that warm, wet sensation from the rear end! Damnations, the haemorrhoids were bleeding! Off to the wet room, and cleaned and medicated Harold’s area. Got new PPs on (this is costing me a fortune!) Washed up and returned to the computerisationing.

Despite Harold, Colin and stopping for wee-wees (three-times!), I got the blog finished. Posted it off, Pinterested pictures, and Emailed the link. Did some Facebooking, and realised that I had not had a wee-wee for an hour? Not complaining, mind!

Then went on the WP comments. Next, the WordPress Reader section.

Made a brew of 99 tea, the first cuppa today. Then made a start on this post, but Colin Cramps is still playing me up, so, things will take a long time to get done… if at all!

Off to get the ablutions done, all but a shower that is. With the Iceland delivery due to come so early. I’ll get the shower later on. The toothache was baddish. Not a single cut shaving. Soon done, and out to the computer, oh, after making a mug of Glengettie.

I didn’t get far, the call to the Porcelain Throne arrives, and with the Iceland delivery that could arrive at any time – bad timing! I rushed things along as best I could – and believe it or not, the evacuation apart from painful, with pushing thing, was almost perfect. Not smelly, or messy. And cleared in one flush!

Back on the computer, and the wee-wee demands reignited. Humph! And this one was a marathon again! Colin Cramps was getting even worse now, so I had a look to see if any Codeines were in the pods. What a mess they were in! The spill cover was loose, and all this week’s medications are mixed up, some pods with two tablets in, and others with nine!

It’s not been a good day up to now, has it? As I thought this, EQ indicated it was going to get worse – he’s never wrong! My spirits sank, and the bottom lip started to protrude. Hehehe!

I got dressed properly, I and made another tasty brew of Glengettie tea.

The intercom sounded and lit up, aha, the Iceland deliveryman arrived. I let him in, and got my facemask on and waited at the front door for him. He put the bags through the door for me, and off he trotted with a can of rum in thanks.

As I was taking the carriers through to the kitchen, it dawned on me that there were only three of them? I was sure I ordered more than that.

But of course, I could have made mistakes on the order. It has been known for me to (not much!) Hehe! I looked at the email with the list of products. Oh, dearie me! A little short of the essentials today! EQ was right again!

Next, I decided to get the showering done, before starting on the CorelDrawing graphics. Then realised I’d not got my Yakult on, I’d left it in the wet room.

So, I trudged off to fetch it, as it was getting colder, or I was anyway. I foolishly thought that I’d coped wellish with today’s Whoopsiedangleplop, Hah!

Granglesknackersbuggerit!

I’d only left the hot water tap (faucet) running in the wetroom sink! The water was stone cold! And would not heat up until about 17:00hrs. So much for taking a shower, then!

Of course, this didn’t make me boiling mad at myself, start name-calling and insulting me, oh, no! self-hatred and loathing didn’t come into my mind at all. Depressed? Me? No!… This lying lark is not good! I was self-conscious about my repeated failures, memory blanks, inability to comprehend, and knowledge that things are not going to get better! I could have flooded the poor soul/s in the flat below! Just pure chance that the overflow coped with it, and although belatedly, I found out in time to avert a disaster. I got an acidy taste in the mouth, self-hatred, most likely.

I got some mushroom cooking in the crock-pot, added some Squid and malt vinegar, and sea salt. I was not concentrating as I did it, and dropped the salt pot. Somehow, it didn’t matter, at the moment.

I had a peep at the YourArea Emagazine, for updates to the Coronova locally and weather.

I forced myself to try CorelDrawing again, at least Colin Cramps was easing off at last, then remembered seeing an email from Jenny earlier, and opened it. I sent a reply. I hope they are doing alright down there in their flat. Jenny has Nora living with her while the lockdown is on, a wonderful gesture, the dear Doris appreciates it so much and deserves it.

Back to CorelDrawing at last. I got just one graphic done, sad innit?

The weariness fell as I got the nosh prepared. This meal was so easy to prepare, nowt hot, so no worries over the oven not working. It’s a shame that Iceland failed to deliver the other three packs of cooked meat and the bread, else I’d be able to make more easy meals, especially as I enjoyed this one so much. The taste-rating of 8/10 given.

Between eating, getting the pots washed and taking the evening medications, I needed three wee-wees! I prayed that they would not interrupt my sleep. Or even worse – any escapages would be suffered overnight! Please!

What a great, nights kip it turned out to be! ♥

I put a Die Hard, DVD,

I soon fell asleep and stayed wee-wee free!

I dreamed, but memories didn’t come back to me,

Had a straight five hours sleep, so you see,

I was just waking up, that spoilt my glee!

Mind you, then I needed another wee-wee!

♥♫ TFZers Night Out! ♫♥

Monday 18th January 2021

Croatian: Ponedjeljak, 18 Siječnja 2021

21:45hrs: I woke, wanting a wee-wee. But did not move. I lay there, my weazened brain immediately hyperactive, fighting with the thought-storm already in progress. Nonsensical, insignificant, it might have been, but topics serious and insignificant were fribbling away, to and fro, being ignored as the next one came forth.

Luckily for my sanity, the need for a wee-wee grew stronger, and the brain recaptured some control from the thought-storms and allowed me to tackle the task of tearing my Titanically sized stomached-body from the grasp of the c1968 recliner, and up onto my feet. Grabbed Metal Micky, and over to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket)

Where I was almost taken aback by the viciousness of the evacuation. It blasted out, but soon died a death and the PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling) was lengthy, the leaking continued for longer than ever before.

I got the kettle on, took the evening medications, made the tea, and got to the computer, started it going. Then, an internal explosion rumbled away, and before it had died down, I was making my way to the wet room!

A good job I did too! As I was seating my oversized body on the Porcelain Throne, the motion began, totally under the innards’ control. I did no urging or pushing. It wasn’t needed – until right at the end of the evacuation. The last dollop got stuck, talk about messy! I reckon I used about £2 worth of Andrex! Then the most valuable asset, time, was lost cleaning up again! Washed and sanitised things.

The Silver-Lining was that the cistern miraculously cleared the product in the bowl, with just one flush! Whoopee-Doo!

I got on the computer, and started WordPress, to get the updating of the Sunday diary updated. I was overjoyed to see that Grammarly was working again! I struggled with the concentration for some reason; however, the ailments were far less bother than usual, so typing was easier for me. A long job, but I eventually got it done and posted off to WordPress. Pinterested a photo or two, then emailed the link. Went on the WP reader, some great photography on there this morning.

As I was doing the Facebooking catch-up, I remembered that my favourite Vampire Nurse, Hristina, is coming this morning. To take the blood for the INA, DVT, Warfarin tests. That cheered me up a few degrees. I read and made the WP comments.

I got a bit of, well a fair bit of a shock when I took the Sphygmomanometer BP Health Checks! Not much!

The SYS had shot back up to 184 – DIA 76, and the alarming PULSE was down to 66! Blimus!

I took the rescued from the Pharmacists cock-up of not lids on the pill pots, and I had to guess which was which medications last night. Perhaps, guessing from these readings, I’d missed taking a beta-blocker, and took a Codeine or Furosemide, no that’s not right. I meant I may have taken two Beta-Blockers in mistake… Had I done this, then the Pulse would go down, wouldn’t it? I’m confused again!

At least the Chinese made Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer came out alright, just a smidge lower than of late.

I had a look at the recorded results for the last week. The Sys is the highest it’s been for the week, and the Pulse is by far the lowest it has been? Then I sp[ottedthat yesterdays Pulse was a massive 91?

I’ll mention this to the nurse later, see what she thinks. Well, I am worried a bit now. Should I ring 111 and ask them what they think? Mmm?

Best if I get the ablutioning done early now, and at least if they do end me to hospital, I’ll be clean and dressed in readiness. ‘Good idea, Inchy’ – Huh, I’m talking to myself again! Hahaha!

I checked on Google, it said amongst many other confusing gumph; Generally, a resting heart rate of 60-80 beats per minute (BPM) is considered normal. Perhaps the 66 pulse is okay then? Don’t know what to do; still, I’ll get the ablutions done, I can try out the new razors, have a talk with myself, pass wind, and get all smelling nice! Even though it is too early to use the shower.

Put the Blue Made in Myanmar (Burmese), zip-up jacket soak in the bowl to soak while I was doing the ablutions. Off to the wet room, then.

Ablution Report: Again, no cuts shaving at all! The legs and knees looked good again, despite Cartilage Cathy playing up something rotten. You can see she’s not happy by the swelling patella.

A slight Whoopsie medicating the rear end dropped the tube cap and clouted my shoulder on the corner of the floor cabinet retrieving it. SSS is not happy with me.

Got the shirt rinsed and hung up to dry on a coat hanger above the sink.

SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley) shook a bit a few times. This made me spill a lot of water, and I had another lot of cleaning up to do. Luckily I had not dressed then, so avoided a bigger mess that needed sorting out.

Made up, and put some waste bags in the trolley carrier box, top, to take down later to the bins. I came across last nights dinner things on the tray, and I remembered falling asleep so easily last night, I took the things through to the kitchen and washed them.

It was heartwarming to see the cans of Chilli-Con-Carne and vegetables on the counter. A warm glow, knowing they should last me a while.

Then needed another visit to the Porcelain Throne. I hastened without delay, and once again, it was a good job I did! Once again, it was a super-messy evacuation, but I was not lucky with the cistern, that required a few jugs of water to refill the tank before things cleared. Tsk!

I took a photograph from the balcony, of the end car park on Chestnut Walk. I thought it looked eerie enough to be a worthwhile picture. Gawd, it was cold out there!

(Two photos today, for Ohio Billum, PPPFWP (Pulitzer Prize for Witty Poetry that Rhymes), and the RCMC (Red Car Monitoring Corporation) Head Honcho. Hehe!

I worked on this blog, and without much bother from Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters, either. Which was nice! Did a few hours work.

Made a cuppa, and ate some Pretzels. Returned to the computer, and another hour or so later, it was as if someone was putting lights on in the sky! The most amazing pinkish glow came over everywhere! I grabbed the camera and had a scoot between the two rooms nad windows to take these shots to capture it. It didn’t last for long, so I’m glad I caught it.

I had a look at the Your-Area email magazine. They seem to be happy with the new Coronavirus figures? I can’t say I am.

08:00hrs: The Vampire Nurse shouldn’t be too long coming.

09:00hrs: The Vampire Nurse hasn’t come yet. I’ll try to do some graphics, then she’s bound to arrive.

Nurse Hristina arrived around 11:00hrs. She was all behind due to parking difficulties. She was kind enough to look at the Health Check record and said the low pulse was nothing to worry about. Unless it is lower next time I do it, then to call 111 for advice. That’s cleared the gloom, Bless Her! ♥  She took the blood and left on her rounds.

I gt back onto CorelDraw, but the weariness started already, my concentration was shot, and CCC began to give me regular shakes. Then Neuropathy Pete’s mini-leg dancing started. Shame, I really need to get some graphics done, too! I did try, but it was no good. I went into Sulk-Mode!

I got some stew in the pan, and a pastie in the fridge… no, I mean oven. I’ll get something to eat and see how I feel afterwards. (Which didn’t change, weary, tired and nervous of everything!)

Despite the nerves, all being on edge, and fighting the eyelids to keep them open, I made a decent job (tastewise), of the Chilli, even added a beef pastie to it, and all the dessert trimmings. A flavour-rating of 8/10, too!

I even got up and put the well-emptied bowl and things in the washing up bowl to soak with the saucepan.

I got down again in the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, rickety, incommodious, grotty recliner, but sleep was not an option. I’d expected it come swiftly tonight, feeling so drained.

The CGTSMP (Can’t-Get-To-Sleep-Master-Ploy), was adopted, and I turned on the TV, when I saw that Law & Order was on, I chose that channel. The usual happened, I stayed awake for the first section, and when the commercial break started, I joined the realms of Sweet Morpheus.

But I kept waking up in a widden-dream, taradiddle filled, not the usual Thought Storms, they were wild, nonsensical and mocking in nature. During one of these episodes, I realised I had not taken the evening medications, so I did.

Intangled Inchie, Thursday 14th January 2021

Thursday 14th January 2021

Afrikaan: Donderdag 14 Januarie 2021

01:40hrs: I reclaimed ersatz life, to be greeted by of the ‘Hum’, and the noise from the machinery on the roof, greeted me.

For once, I was not a willing waker-upperer. There was a certain degree of melancholic dolefulness, lingering in the grey-cells. As it was beginning to develop into neuroticism, a bit of good luck, the need for a wee-wee arrived. And my mind was diverted to concentrating on getting safely out of the grotty, £300, second-hand, c1968, unsteady, not-working, incommodious, sickenly beige-coloured, haemorrhoid-testing recliner and catching my balance to get the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket), in time.

1: I didn’t make it in time. Oh, dearie me! The PMD (Pre-Micturition-Dribbling) caught me out – then the wee-weeing started without hesitation as normally would have, with what seemed like a gallon of liquid belting out like water from a fireman’s hose! Never in the field of wee-weeing, have I passed so much in a shorter time!

2: I got en route to the wet room to clean things up, and a high-priority demand for the Porcelain Throne arrived. I must have been only feet away from the door to the wet room, and I failed to get there on time. Another embarrassing early arrival caught me out, once again!

CW023: The innards content came out part-way, and refused to budge any further. Which was confusing, cause it felt soft but massive. I grabbed the crossword book because it was obvious that things were not going to be pushable, I decided to wait until the innards were ready. When things did start, it didn’t finish completely. I ended up standing up in a straggling position. And the newly started yesterday, Andrex roll, was almost used up! The amount of bleeding again was a bit worrying.

The cleaning, freshening up (vigorously) and medicating after the evacuation was, inwardly belittling and took me ages! Harold’s Haemorrhoids were stinging like never before! The Germolid ointment is running low. New PP’s were put on, and a good wash and sanitising of the touch-areas was completed. Gawd, I’ve only been up for about an hour, and I was feeling drained already! What a start to the day! Granglesbognessbuggerit!

Off I went to the kitchen to make a brew of 99 tea. As I turned off the light to take this photo facing the kitchen window, I needed yet another wee-wee! It was another sudden urgent affair, and I was lucky to get to the bucket on time. Another long, blasting-out affair! Washed the mitts, back to the kitchenette and made the brew.

Got the computer on, and more Windows updates had arrived, they scare me you, know! Humph!

As I was loading WordPress, the need for yet another wee-wee arrived. I truly had to empty the NWWB, it was that full!

I washed and disinfected it, and returned with it to the computer room. Finally, I started on the photos uploads, then the updating of the Wednesday IT diary. Half an hour into this… yes you’ve guessed, another wee-wee was required! However, it was less torrential and far less of it this time. I washed the dandies and returned to the main junk room.

I engaged my famously unproductive Sherlock Holmesian Investigative mode. I pondered on why the wee-weeing was so persistent and powerful today. After a while considering and analysing all available data, I arrive at the following conclusion: I had obviously got the medications wrong somehow. With the  Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345, Mansfield Road, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the launderette and pub, near the Lidl store, cocking up the pill pods and failing to put any covers on them, that caused me to drop all the pills on the floor. Got down on my knees to pick them up, but many have never been seen again, then calling for help for me to get back up off of the floor, and handed up guessing which was which of the Furesomide, Beta-Blockers and Codeine? Tsk!

I then pressed on with the diarying, got it finished. (Three wee-wees) Posted it off, Pinterested a photo, and went on the WordPress Reader. Then, onto Facebook catch-up, and decided to get the Health Checks done.

The SYS had gone up a little more. Humph!

The temperature was fine, though. At least something seems to be near normal. I can’t say that very often! Hehe!

A mammoth wee-wee, there are getting longer again? How? Why?

Back on the computer and had a read of the YourArea e-magazine.

The Coronavirus figures are now scarier than ever! I wish some of the folks who go out every day on the bus would read these figures. They could be spreading the virus every time? The UK figures shown were even more frightening to me.

I got some brekkers before it was time to get the ablutions seen to.

I sat and ate it all up slowly, to degust it fully. Everything on the plate was good tastewise. The dried onions, grapes and Pork & pickle mini-pies were excellent! A Brekkers-Rating of  8.5/10!

Off to get the ablutions done. And boy, yet again it was a good one: The ailments were fair to me…ish. The dropsies were only about eight in total. Just the one cut shaving. The showering was Dizzy Dennis-free. Oh, yes! Just the once clout against the grab-rail, but a very minor one. Even the medicationalisationing went injury free! Not pain-free, but you can’t have everything. Hehehe!

The hand-washing was done when I got out of the wet-room. Just one Myanmar (Burmese) zip-up jacket,  and a woollen cap, were done, wrung and hung.

I made up a coup;e pf rubbish bags and a recycling one, then got them on the box on the walker-guide, got to the doorway, and had to nip back to the wet-room for a wee-wee!

This one was far less vicious and much sorter. In my opine, this indicates that I must have taken two Furesomides instead of one in the Carrington Pharmacy cock-up. But was it a Codeine or a Beta-blocker that I’d taken extra? Could have been a Codeine, cause the toothache is not so bad today?  Another Sherlockian Mode there, Haha!

I decided to visit ILC, (Independent Living Coordinator), Ballerina and Warden, Deana later. To ask her to ring the chemist for me. To find out when the next prescription delivery is due, and ask them to not put the stuff in pill-pods. Why, you ask? (Well, you should! Haha!) The pill-pod-packs that the nurse thought and I would be a good thing and control my medications better are just not working at all! They come with different numbers of might dose pill? Last month they came with no pull covers, and I lost a weeks supply. And I am now out of Codeine; unless some of the rescued tablets might be them, but of course, I’ll never know! I do know it is hard work sorting tablets for the month from boxes, but I can check easier to see that they have not short delivered me!

I got down in the lift to the ground floor lobby, it was mayhem, the working lads all around, and having to move to let us through. I got outside, and our caretakers were out under the cover, near the bins. They took the bags and box from me. I had a chunter about the folks who keep going out every day, and spreading the virus, they agreed… I think.

Then I poddled in the getting heavier rain to Winwood Court and the Obersturmbannfuhreresses Interrogation room, Holding-Cell and Office. Hehehe! Deana rang the chemist for me and wrote the time down of the prescription’s delivery for me. 16th January. I thanked her, and out into the rain again back to Woodthorpe Court.

I got in the lift after the workers had made room for me again, bless ’em.  I thought I’d pressed the twelfth-floor button, but when I arrived at the fifteenth, I realised I hadn’t? Getting senile is not an option, you know, but it comes free-gratis, at least! Heterophemy is something else that we get free in our later years. Just thought I’d warn any whippersnappers who might have wandered onto this page by mistake! Not to mention the physical ailments.

I’m waffling again, that’s also a quality you might cop-for in later years, I did, obviously. Hehe!

I got down to the right floor, taking this snap as I left the elevator cage with my emptied out cardboard box and carriers adorning the trolley.

As I put the kettle on, I noticed that sleet had joined in with the rain, the houses all around were getting a coating on their rooftops. A lot of rain still, so it shouldn’t settle. (Famous last words?) Seconds later I got the camera and took this shot of the view from the window. I may have to review my forecast now. Har-har!

As I began to pour the tea, Colin Cramps attacked, in my left hand and fingers. The photo I took, not easy with the right-hand, assisted by my bulging, wobbly midriff. It might be because I knew what was happening, but the photo seemed to have a slight blur on the index finger, that’s because it was shaking all over the place, while all the other digits were distorted and rock-hard. I had to wait a while before Colin cleared the body, then he had a go at my right ankle! Spangleturdes!

I got the oven warming up for the sweet potato Cottage pie to be cooked later, with I hope lashings of ready-grated Leicester Cheese! Then went on CorelDraw, to make up a few graphics for future use.

The regular quotidian weariness fell early again, and I had to admit to failure on the graphic-making, and I stopped, had a wee-wee, and got the fodder prepared. The eyes were getting heavy already.

I got the ready-made sweet potato shepherds pie out of the fridge. Then, I added some frenched red pepper, and spread them over the tray, and dolloped tons of Leicester grated cheese on top of it. Put in the oven, and set the timer that I cannot hear, but hopefully just might, for 20 minutes.

I heard a clunk and went to investigate at the front door, and sure enough, there were three items put through the door. This one with the HMG insignia on it, I opened first.

That was eight A4 pages from the Government, about the new lock-down rules. I put them on the old no-longer working, broken-down printer to look at in the morning.

The second one was the INR Warfarin DVT results, I put that on the bookcase with the others.

The last one, a hand-written envelope, was something that made my day, it boosted me into a land of appreciation, joy and brought on contentment that I have not had for years. I have no idea of the donor, but felt she or he was an Angel!

To the gifter: “Thank you very much, that was so kind of you, and much needed. Bless!” These will last me until the prescriptions arrive, may your kindness be rewarded. ♥

I took the evening medications with the meal, as recommended by the Doctor. Then got the meal served upon the tray. I added some sugar snap peas and grapes, and a very basic pot of custard and jelly dessert, that took me back to Brookfield Place, and being an ankle-snapper! Hehe!

And a feast of flavescent, fermenting, fervid flavour, found its way down my gullet. I ate slowly to appreciate the taste. At first, I thought the peppers might be a little too hot for me, but they were fine, the whole meal was Grrreat!

I expect that being helped so generously by the unknown Angel, I’ll now be able to take a Codeine helped eased the pain from the teeth, and helped tremendously, in the enjoyment stakes. A flavour-rating of 9.2/10 for this feast of fodder! The taste-buds had been well satisfied. And ease of mind followed.

The wonderfully kind gesture of the donation was heartwarming.

I put the TV on, but I was soon in the hands of Sweet Morpheus. A good four uninterrupted hours later, I woke in need of a wee-wee. I could still taste the fodder, and knowing that (thanks to the mystery person) I had some painkillers at hand, contentment lingered.

Insecure Inchy’s Sunday 10th January 2021, Diary

Sunday 10th January 2021

Swedish: Söndag 10 januari 2021

00:45hrs: I was re-envigorated, (speaking loosely), back to life, with vague bits of flotsam and jetsam milling about in the brain, about the dream I’d been having. It was not enough to remember exactly what happened, but I knew I was underground, in caves possibly, and being pursued by an angry mob. That’s all, really… Oh, and I was young and fit!

A few moments later, getting my monolithic-sized stomached body free of the £300, second-hand, decrepit, c1968, rickety recliner, the need for the Porcelain Throne became apparent. And it grew more urgent by the second! My swaying, butt-gripping wobble to the wet room, (I could have qualified for entry into the Ministry of Funny Walks competition) with the addition of Balance-Loss-Leslie, must have been one of the most hilarious to look at, I’ve ever done.

The jammies and PPs were almost torn off in my haste, I landed on the plastic raised bog contraption with such a bang, and I was off-target a smidge. Harold’s Haemorrhoids paid the price! The evacuation started straight away, and it flowed, for a long time, but without any interruptions, or pain! Damned messy though, and heavy bleeding too, (I assume from the poor old piles taking a battering as I plonked my bum down?) A good bit of cleaning up had to be done again. No doubt about it, Trotsky Terence is making a comeback and won the DESB (Daily-Evacuation-Stakes-Battle) for supremacy, over Constipation Konrad.

As I turned from the washbasin after medicating and cleaning, the adventitious right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance kicked-off, with a short but brutal flailing performance. Neuropathic Pete has been overdoing the dancing over the last few days. But this time, he caused me no injuries, I was lucky enough to be in the middle of the wet room, used the sink to hold onto, and I was too far away from anything lethal to knock into or against. Also, the attack only lasted about 30 seconds, so no falling over involved either. I could not help it.

Feeling a little perkier with my having a spot of good fortune, I got the Health Checks done, the terrible ‘Hum’ became louder, a lot louder suddenly? Humph! You can’t win ’em all!

The sphygmomanometer, made in China for Boot’s, knocked back mt Smug-Mode a bit, the SYS was right up to 183, and that was just after the evacuation involuntary right leg neuropathic dancing bout. But the pulse was still lower and fine.

My Hong Kong manufactured Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer reading, was fine again, at 36.9°c, and in the green. The urge for a brew of Glengettie was yielded to this morning, as the Terence Toothache, didn’t feel so tender. (I am a Fool!)

I got the kettle on, opened the light & view-blocking, hard to get at to clean, new kitchen window, to take a photo of the view. The Nikon camera was not working again, so I had to use the Canon, which is not very good at taking night pictures at all. I doctored this photo on CorelDraw, to make it a little lighter.

Back to the front room and got the computer on, the tea was cool enough now, so I took the medications with it, then got down to sorting the updating of yesterdays blog. I remembered to put the nurses visit who phoned and woke me last night to inform me, she’d be calling Monday, onto the Google calendar. Got the photos uploaded from the SD card, then worked on the updating. I got it done and posted it off. Emailed the link, then Pinterested some snaps, and went on the WP Reader.

A wee-wee, then I passed some involuntary wind and wound up on CorelDraw, to create a few thought graphics for the IT. I got three done, then it was time to get the ablutions done, so I will have time to get Josie’s meal done.

Things got ridden with Confusional Conrad while I was taking the shave and shower. All memories from here have moments of lucidity, and blank periods, only a few scribbled notes to work from, in the morning?

The ablutions were a complete blank.

Found this photo.

The waste bags were gone, so I assume I made some up and added them, to those in the box and took them to the chute.

Jane rang, rang back. Cooking Josie’s and made meals at the same time, for Josie and me.

Dropped a saucepan, and also I think my dinner bowl. I woke later in the recliner, with a sharp pain in my right hip, so I may have gone over at some stage.

Delivered Josie’s nosh, found photo’s I could not remember taking.

I felt more confused, but I just plodded on, I think. I recall getting some Iceland minced beef, the fatty so-called less than 5% fat packet I started last week and froze it.

Dizzy Dennis attacked regularly, and the weariness forced me to get my head down earlier than ever before.

Found this picture from the ablutioning.

Fell asleep in the chair, woke with the right Hippy Hilda in agony, and was not sure if the door chimes went or not in my sleepy haze. I investigated and found a bag from Jenny with pickled eggs and minced beef outside the door. Bless her.

I drifted into having no idea what I was doing at this stage. I was sure I’d forgotten something.

Shattered and discombobulated as I was, I could not get back to sleep for hours, and could not think clearly, which helped me cope with the sudden sanity-testing, over-active Thought-Storms.

I seem to recall that the minced beef Chilli con carne was fatty. Thank heavens Jenny has got me some better sort for the next CCC. Thanks, Jenny, I’ll get the money down to you after the nurses have been today (Monday). So kind of you.

Not sure if I’ve missed anything out, one of my worstest periods of blank incertitudes for a long time.

Indeterminate Inchy’s Friday 8th January 2021 diary

Hello, hello, what’s all this then? Hehehe!

……………………………………………………………..

Friday 8th January 2021

01:35hrs: I woke with a start, something, possibly a noise I imagine, has stirred me from my slumber – and it had to be investigated in case it was an alarm, something collapsing, or an alien invasion. Haha! I forced my ailing elephantine body form the recliner and had a wander around. But I found nowt suspicious, maybe I was dreaming of something, but I have no memories of having any nocturnal dreams?

Mind you, it has been known for me to have tiny bits of nightmares occasionally come back to me during the day. Of course, if there is not a notepad and pencil handy at the time, smatterings of the dream dissipate before I can get to record them on paper. I wonder if any of you out there have this problem?

Ah, well, at least it got me up and hobbling around. The toothache woke up simultaneously as I did (Ah, maybe that is what made me wake up suddenly?) I had the customary morning wee-wee, and it was a powerful one this time. With the teeth being so painful, no tea had an uncooled drink of spring water with a squirt of lime juice in it, I thought it would be less hurtful than hot tea – I was wrong! Tsk!

I put the computer on and got the camera card to upload last nights photographs to finish off the Thursday blog. The Microsoft Photo importer was not working, so I used CorelDraw to get to them on the external ‘F’ drive. Simple enough, it worked on the fourth attempt! Grugglekronks!

I pressed on, grinding away, cursing Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters when they let me down, and found time for the odd prayer for the toothache to ease off. Oh, and about five wee-wees, which had turned into the even weaker ones, but with pre and after dribbling! At long last, I got the blog down and posted.

The teeth were still too painful for me to risk a hot drink, despite my wanting one, the craving had to wait.

Into the kitchen to make a spring water bottle up, and took a photo of the lingering fog outside.

Back to Computer Cameron, and sent the email link off. Then Pinterested a couple of pictures, and onto Facebook updating, which took some time. Went on the WordPress Reader, and as I did, the oddest of noises was heard as it was today, like a metallic scuffling, crunching sound again. I ignored it, but I made a note of the time, it was 04:40hrs, seemed to be coming from above the flat?

Tim Price said about taking the Health Checks later on after I’d been to the Porcelain Throne, it might bring the HP down. As I thought this to myself, the need for the Throne arrived! Spot on time! Off to the wet room, I limped.

As I got myself seated, the urge and need to evacuate seemed tp lose interest completely? I got the crossword book out, and…

Finished a Crossword Puzzle! Swank & Smug Modes Adopted! Admittedly, there were only about five clues left to get, but I’d been trying for ages, today, I solved them all bar one I had to cheat on. But at least I don’t think I would ever have got the answer. So quickly, in five to ten minutes or so. That cheered me up, I’ve been doing that puzzle for months determined to get it done, shame about that one clue, Tsk!

The torpedo suddenly started escaping, massive it was again, messy as well, but that didn’t matter to me, the lack of any pain at all was a morale boost! Honestly!

I began to whistle and hum songs to myself, as I was cleaning up, but as soon as I saw the TP, red, a deep red and lots of it – I went from joyous to jejune (I think tat’s the word, I’ll check it later), in a few seconds.

This did not look the usual colour from Haemorrhoid Harold’s clan, and it had run down the legs? But at the back of my mind, I think just perhaps with taking so many Paracetamol, thanks to the cock-up from Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the launderette and pub, near the Lidl store, not sending any Codeines – and the toothache making me eat Paracetamols like peanuts, this may be affecting the blood. Cause the INR level fell this last week, no, this last Monday. What am I rambling on about? Pass!

I took the medications and started the Health Checks. The SYS has at long last, come down a bit, to 159. Far better than the160’s and 180’s it’s been lately. The pulse had tumbled as well, from 92 down to only 72!

The 哈尔滨仙帝非接触式温度计, that’s the Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer, (I asked Mr Google -Simplified Chinese) gave another good reading in the green, of 36.8¨c.

So, all in all, there were pluses and minuses today, up to now. Collectively, for the most part, with everything taken into account, by and large, and weighed-up, at the end of the day; taking into consideration that I’m not fully in control of the mind this morning, the apatheticness, of which I am renowned for,  and the toothache, I’d better ring the Doctor. Hehehe!

I decided to see what was available for me to gormandise on, for brekkers. The Chicken and cheese pasty, that Iceland had substituted for the beef pasty, ly there in the fridge, dried, curled up puff pastry leaving crumbs all over the moment I touched it, tempted me. That’s all I had, just the pasty.

I got it in the oven heating up, went for a wee-wee, and heard the metal scraping noise again? I plodded out of the door to listen where it was coming from, but it stopped. A mystery this is. I wonder if anyone else has heard it?

I got the chicken pasty out and not a plastic plate wit high edges (to catch the crumbs), and returned to the computer, so I could eat the nosh with the plate in an open drawer while typing this blog. You’ve got to admit, I sure do get some stupid ideas!

And all credit to Iceland, their substitutions are slowly getting as bad as Morrisons and Sainsbury’s. Obviously, that was a joke, no other shop could ever be as bad as that pair of substitutionally-insane stores. However, they did manage to sell a short-dated, split packaged, foul-tasting, sickening crap, chicken Pastie, that no doubt they would have had to throw away – I can’t imagine anyone buying another one once they have tasted their first one! Of course, poor old sods like me who can’t get out to buy any food can be sent them in their order as a substitute… I’ve just proved that… Spit!  Mind you. I ate it all, didn’t I? All four-ounces of it!

Ablutionisationing time arrived later today. The right leg had lost a lot of fluid content, was still pale, Clopidogrel marks were returning. The old ankle ulcer was getting a smidge, more colourful methinks. A new, mark or two developing. The Throne evacuation was messy, but not soft. If that makes sense. But virtually pain-free.

Hours spent on doing this blog, until, the sudden arrival of hunger!

I dug out the last part-pack of chips from the freezer, opened a tin of boczek and peas, and sliced a few tomatoes for a nosh. And a pot of lemon mousse.

Apart from the chips, that were terrible, the tomatoes being bitter, and the boczek being terribly fatty, the peas and lemon dessert,  tasted alright. Flavour-rating; 3/10, shame that!

I can’t recall owt after that, but I woke up in the recliner later.

Wednesday 6th January 2021

Polish: Środa 6 Stycznia 2021 r

23:20hrs: It’s getting back to normal now; I woke up, involuntarily passed wind, and needed a wee-wee. Accompanied by the almost ever-present SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley), and near-agony from BPB (Back-Pain-Brenda).

Getting my humungously large bellied-body from the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, sickeningly-beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety, recliner, had its moments. I did the catching the balance motions a little differently, to try and avoid the pain from BPB, and ended up slumping back down in the seat, which annoyed Harold’s Haemorrhoids at a bit. On the bright side, I missed hitting the arms of the chair, or it could have been a lot worse. Tsk! Cartilage Cathy’s patella wasn’t happy with me, either!

I utilised the ONWWB (Overnight-Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket) Cripes, what a difference, it was of the LPPPS (Long-Powerful-Persistent-Peeing) mode. I’ve not moved so much in many a month. No way could I have drunk that much since the last wee-wee, last night? It took me ages, but there was no PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling).

I adopted my investigative-mode to try to work out why I was running short on the Codeines. I decided that I must have identified the wee small tablets wrong, and I’d taken two Furesomide, which means I’ve missed either a beta-block or Codeine.  (The medications last month arrived without any inner lids, and they all fell out all over the place, and retrieving them was a nightmare, even worse the three tablets mentioned all looked the same to me), Glibblebonks!

I must remember to thank the super-efficient Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the pub, near the launderette and Lidl store, for their care, professionalism and compassion that they have shown to me.

I tackled the Health Checks next. Starting with the Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometerisationing. The Sys was down from 168 to 168 this time. Not a lot, but better than being up? The Pulse was down from 97, to 92.

The new Chinese made, Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer, showed a reading of 36.8°c. Which shows as being in the green, as acceptable! Compared to yesterdays reading of 37.5 in the red, it is a good one.

Took the medications, dubious as to what I was taking. I’ve had six wee-wees and two small mugs of tea up to now between all these activities. The wees seem to be getting weaker, and less volume, on each one.

I made another brew and took pictures of the view, through the disliked, hard to clean, light & view-blocking kitchen window. Look a tad eerie, don’t they?

These could possibly be used as a thriller, mystery or scary book cover. Hehe! I made a graphic for the diary top, then made another brew, had another wee-wee, and got on with updating yesterdays blog, which took an inordinately long time – but the result of a silver-lining search about this fact was that apart from SSS having a ball trying to dislocate the shoulder, the reason for my delay, was just a lack of concentration… again!

I stopped to make another brew of Glengettie, and had, wait for it, two wee-wees, one after the other?

Got the tea back to the computer, and pressed on and finally got the updating finished. (Phew, worra job that was!)

Made yet another mug of tea, Co-op 99 this time, and hard to believe, but I had another weaker wee-wee!

I posted the blog and email link off. Went on the WordPress reader. Then on Facebooking catch-up. Which I caught up with. Hehehe!

A wee-wee, and yet another mug of Glengettie. Took this photo, of the view, and decided to get the Ablutions done. After yet another wee-wee, that had now died down to a UTD (Unwilling-Trickling-Dribbling) variety. Which did surprise me a bit, cause I was still taking in too much tea!

The full-Monte today. And things went swimmingly on all fronts. (Which is surprising with me being a bad-luck lad, and an aquaphobic) No stubbed toes, no… I say, No shaving cuts! Fair does, Dizzy Dennis called on me a few times in the shower. But overall, a great session. Smug Mode Grade2 adopted! Anyway more good news, the plates and pions were looking fine!

As soon as I left the wet room, a (what proved to be a series of) involuntary right leg Peripheral Neuropathic Schuhplattler dances started. I was close to going over on two occasions as I recall. I clouted my hip on the edge of the doorframe. The shaking of the leg was on and off for about three hours after that. I’ve never had it last that long before. Still, it calmed down in the end, back to the odd little flutters and kicks, which look far worse than they are. Hey-Ho!

Then, back to the wet room, to medicate the areas in need, that for some reason I’d not done earlier. I took the clothes with me to change into after the medicationalisationing was done. And the landline rang and flashed!

Jane and Pete, Jig-Saw Puzzlers supreme

It was Sister Jane, she said she’d ring back and give me time to get dried and dressed. Bless her. We had a great natter when she rang back. I learnt a lot from it; I’m eating too much and the wrong food, should not have Squid sauce with anything but fish, and other gems. Hehehe!

Pete was at the City hospital to get his test results from his second bone marrow testing. He deserves a bit of luck, just for how he’s handled things since the Big C was diagnosed.

The left arm was getting attention from Colin Cramps, we were on the phone that long. I foolishly changed to the right hand, but SSS’s cunningly sudden attack made me drop the phone despite taking care! I banged the right knee trying to catch the handset, and then I had Cartilage Cathy to contend with, Tsk! We still nattered on, though, I was enjoying it. Until the pain of holding the phone with the bent arm, got too much. She was expecting Pete to return soon, and we agreed to give up our repartee.

I made up some waste bags and took them to the rubbish chute. Returned and getting the three-wheeler in the flat, backwards cause it’s usually easier, I caught my ankle bone against the door edge. I recall saying something like, “Well, blow me!”, as I laughed off the incident, as the right leg went into a mini-dance routine, and I hit my toe against the bottom panel. Luckily, me being a heroic man of phenomenal bravery, I was not bothered in the least bit, of course! Ahem!

I stopped crying, as the door chimes rang forth with Dusty Springfields tune to “♫I only want to be with you!♫

It was ILC, Desktop dancer and Warden, Obergruppenfürheress Deana. I asked her if she could ring the Chemist or Doctor’s for me, to get the prescriptions back into packets and not the pill-pods, I know it will mean more struggling for me to make up my own dosage pots, but at least I won’t be running short of medication missed off by the super-efficient Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the pub, near the launderette and Lidl store, and have no lids to allow the tablets to spill all over the place and get lost! Deana told me it was time to take down the Christmas cards, so I did. I took this photo earlier to remind me to ask her, cunning, eh?

I forced her to take some New Year pressies, and she told me to remind her to ring the chemist – Hahaha! Me? Remember?

I rang Jenny and forgot why I was calling her! She had ordered me some minced beef, tp be delivered Sunday afternoon, bless her. I’m sure she will not wake me if they come after 15:00hrs, I can fetch them on Monday morning, I hope. I bothered her to help because the Iceland ones are not very nice, and despite claiming less than 10% fat, looked greasy to me when cooked, a lot of colouring went into the grinder with the meat and fat.

Well shattered now, I’ll try again to make a meal that I can eat all of.

I burnt the peas, made a right mess of the saucepan, and spent ages soaking and cleaning it. Tsk!

I was originally, going to have a steak slice,  but I had to make do with the Morrison substituted chicken and bacon pie. Didn’t find or taste any bacon in it, mind. The Leicester cheesy potatoes came out alright. The Spanish tomatoes were not too bad for once. The specially-burnt garden peas tasted fine! And, the lemon dessert went down a treat.

All in all, a flavour rating of 7/10, I think the taste buds are reactivating, perhaps, maybe, possibly.

I got the pots washed, and finally got the saucepan cleared of the black bits. Good and early, I got down in the c1968 second-hand recliner and got the TV on, Law & Order programmes to watch.

The first one, I must have nodded-off eight or nine times at least, but only for a few seconds or minutes each time. I decided to give up on the telly, and get my head down properly…

Not only did I not have any Thought-Storms, but I drifted off quickly, and the best bit… I stayed in the land of slumber for five-uninterrupted hours! Grrreat!
