Uzbek: Chorshanba, 15 Mart 2017

3Wed020245hrs: Woke still tasting the excellent meal from last night. Perhaps I’d overdone the flavourings just a bit?  Hehe!

The dreams I’d been having were unretrievable in any detail from my muddled depressed brain. I just knew they had been not nice and muddled?

Spotted that I had not washed the pots either, there they lay on the tray, in the chair next to the £300 second-hand recliner, dried bits clinging to the dish and the aroma had permeated everywhere. No wonder I thought I could still taste it. Humph!

Sprayed some air-freshener around and got the things in soak in the bowl in the sink and let them soak in bleach and washing-up liquid. Anne Gyna started kicking me all over and around the chest cavity early today as I made my way to the porcelain room for a heavy duty session. Not as good as yesterday this one. Haemorrhoid Harold was not as painful, but he had bled a lot, more mess to clean up and clothes to wash. Arthur Itis, Reflux Roger and Hernia Harry were all in a good mood with me. Duodenal Donald began joining in with Anne Gyna playing me up, and the pain forced me to take extra Codeines. Shame I can’t get the morphine sulphate again, they were effective so much more. I’m sure others have got this problem and a lot worse than I, but the constant grinding pains when two of the little aches and pains playing up together stops your concentration, and this brings on extra Whoopsiedangleplops I’m sure. Still, mustn’t complain, many others in a worse state than I am. (I did just complain didn’t I? Sorry about that).

2Tue001aA nice strong mug of Thompson’s wonderful tea and took the medications.

Carried out the Health Checks.

The weight continues to increase over the last few days?

Oh, dear!

The Sys seems to be lower this week up to now, and the Pulse is positively racing away?

2Tue03

Could I find the thermometer this morning? I looked in the drawer where I usually store it with the BP machine, then in all the other drawers. I use it only in the kitchen but still searched around for it in all the other rooms, drawers etc.

Got the computer on to update the diaries. Checking the email, found a reminder that had arrived from Morrison’s that the delivery is on its way.

Went into the kitchen to juggle the fodder in the freezer to make room to put the bread in later. Decided to have another mug of tea – and there it was in the cutlery drawer – The thermometer! Sad, is not a strong enough word is it?

3Wed02Did the ablutions.

While shaving in the little mirror, I noticed a colourful area on the back lower left arm. Tried to photograph it in the mirror.

I’m not sure what it was or what had caused this decorative scare. No idea at all really. But it didn’t hurt unless I caught it against anything and there was no itching or scratching?

3Wed03Dressed and made a mug of tea, but the milk had gone off. Tsk!

The moon was hanging in there this morning.

0643hrs, Morrison delivery due in the next hour.

Hello, the intercom is ringing, he’s here!

Non-talkative young man.

3Wed04He handed the bags to me through the door, took the return bags and he was off.

I got the bags into the kitchen and sorted them out. IT was a bit of a job finding spaces for some of the fodder, might have overdone it a tad today?

No doubt about it, with the fridge freezer as full as it is now, starvation is not likely in the short term!

3Wed05Hehehe!

If there should be panic and world shortage of Soy Sauce, Fasolka bean bacon and sausage stew, vegetarian sausages or out of date butter, I’ll be quids in. Haha!

The bread on the sink draining board to the left of the fridge is a new one I tried today. Polish half-Rye half Sourdough bread. I’ll give it a try and let you know what it was like later.

The giant box of Surf soap powder (Nice scent Lily & Ylang Ylang aroma) on the top photograph was on offer: £5.21 down to £3.00? Converted this means that in CAD $8.57 to $4.93 – USD £5.26 to $3.26 – AusD $8.25 to 4.84. Bargain there, what?

3Wed06Sorted them and it was such a nice looking morning, I meandered out onto the balcony and took this photographicalisation to the left of the flats.

Not a person in sight, no dogs taking their humans for a walk in the park, either?

A rarity that, mind you, it is still early I suppose. Love the shadows and sunshine effect.

Did some Facebooking for a few hours or more, then tried to get another of the TFZer graphics started off.

The cleaners (Well, I say cleaners…) are due later.

Did a bit more on the TFZer New Home Series. A slow job this, but I want to get them looking good if I can.b

4Thur04The cleaner gals arrived, I ask them to clean behind the WC today, and not to clean anywhere near the stacks of bank paperwork I have that are lurking on the computer desk, or to touch the second-hand 1969 E-Plan sideboard, cause they always catch the computer screen and it being a touch thingy I usually lose something I’ve been working on, anyway.

I was surprised when they did not find any garden peas anywhere in the front room. We had a natter and laugh while they worked and they were soon off with their bag of nibbles.

Did a good spell again on the TFZer Series graphic creation.

Off the computer, and decided to spray the curtains with fabric freshener, the expensive Airwick Citrus Infusions one, as I turned the blinds to do the other side… huh, another garden pea found! This must be the last one surely? Hehe!

4Thur05Feeling well tired now, I got the meal cooking, sorted some medications and served up the fodder to myself.

Had a change tonight. Chines mushrooms warmed up in black bean sauce, small potatoes and a rather delicious beef slice in pastry.

A banana and small pot of Lemon Fool to follow. I served it up in the glass oven dish, ’cause after the garden pea fiasco, I didn’t want a Whoopsiedangleplop with the shiitake mushrooms. They are so slithery and resist being forked or spooned up yer know! Hehe! I enjoyed this one, the puff pastry on the slice was too tasty for words.

Got the pots washed up and took the medications then settled down in the £300 second-hand recliner, which was shaking a bit more than usual when operated. Got the TV on, some stuff I fancied watching tonight too. Top Gear, Heartbeat, Law & Order and a nature programme.

Then it started… The Cramps befell me and boy did they stay with me! Started in fingers (Nasty) the legs, down to the feet, then decided to stay in both! How I managed not to scream or call out loud I don’t know. Used far too much than is permitted of the pain gel for 24-hours, even got up and took some extra codeine. Took hours before it eased. Why? I don’t know, but I do know I can do without this at the same time as Anne Gyna is giving me grief. Still, eventually, they both eased off and let me drift off into my slumber.

The dreams came thick and fast, and Anne Gyna ensured there were plenty of waking up struggling, periods to contend with. The thing that hurt most was the not being able to recall any of the dreams whatsoever! Especially with remembering one so well last week. Grumph!

Message to Brain: Don’t bother dreaming unless you allow me to recall them. Thank You!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 14th March 2017: Thwarted with Problems!

4pinny

Tuesday 14th March 2017

Turkish: 14 Mart 2017 Salı

0330hrs: I sprang awake so violently I nearly fell out of the £300 second-hand recliner chair. The few memories of the wicked dream I was having, evaporated immediately from my consciousness. All that remained was a sense of nervousness? I hate it when this happens, particularly when remembering so much of the night before dreams too. Tsk!

The call to the porcelain arrived on queue as I dismounted the recliner, and Harold’s Haemorrhoids were hot, sore and stinging like hell. But no bleeding when I passed. Most surprising that?

2Tue04Made a brew and took the medications.

Did the health checks, and compared the last two weeks total averages, in red.

The battle against the weight increase seems to be a lost cause?

Not a lot of difference with the others methinks?

Monday and Tuesday up to now, this week seem okay.

Apart from the weight of course. I must try harder!

2Tue05As I put the milk away in the fridge, I noticed something had been leaking into the vegetable drawer. So got it put and cleaned it and returned it. This sounds like a little job doesn’t it? Remember this is me I am talking about. The door would not allow me the room when open as far as it would go – So I had to move the stuff from the side of the damned fridge and turn it as far as I could to make room to get the drawer out, it was still tight and I struggled a bit to do it. Getting the thing back in was easier! Tsk! I’m sure it was less bothersome last time I did it. Maybe the flats are leaning a bit?

Started doing a graphicalisation for the TFZer site, but had to stop to get the ablutions done, so I can get out to the bank and try the card, and have time to get back to visit Olive.

Set out calling into the Winwood Community Hut to drop off some nibbles for the Kamp Obergruppenfurheresses.

Onward down the hill into Sherwood and arrived at the ATM machine outside the new bank, and tried out the card for the first time.

Fully confident that all would be okay, now I had received the two emails from the bank welcoming me to the new account. Thus began the new:

Whoopsiw02

I put in the new pin number and attempted to withdraw some money, and was informed on the screen that ‘This service is not currently available’ I cancelled it and tried once more – the same failure repeated itself.

I went into the bank and explained to the lady behind the counter, who told me to place my card and pin into the machine on the counter. So I did. “All okay there,” she said and waited for me to wander off. So I did.

Luckily, a bloke in the queue pointed out to me that the lady was calling for me to return to the counter. So I did. She pointed out that there was no money in this account! Almost immediately Anne Gyna started to kick at me. Frustration grew in double quick time, as it dawned on me that the black depression was about to be summoned back by my tormented soul and mind. A touch of annoyance brewed as well.

I thought I acquitted myself well, born through repeatedly being led astray by the bank management, as the manager came out all smile and took me into his office for a chinwag. He started by saying he had been trying to ring me. I replied, “That would be the one missed call on my phone then?” He was taken aback a bit I think, with my new found verbal courage, again prompted by frustration. He said the transfer of money from the Co-op bank had not gone through, due to the Council Tax people putting the wrong postcode on their letter to me. I told him I had followed his advice and shredded the old Co-op card. He did he is best to sound upbeat, then he called the Co-op Bank for me and got them to issue a new card. Another mess to sort out and even more waiting! I gave the Co-op bloke a password and it was sorted. I am to expect a new card within 3 days, and a new pin withing 5 days, then I have to activate them. Great!

That sorted, he then rang the State Pension people and told them about the problem with the postcode – they are to send out a new detail of pension breakdown for me, with the correct postcode on it. I can expect this within 5-7 days. Grumph!

He then told me I need to find a 2017 Tax Code letter and take it in, to him.

The manager did apologise for his part in the farce come error, but I thought he might break a tooth or two as he forced the words through his teggies.

I left the branch almost spitting blood but tried not to show it.

Muttering to myself as I crossed the road, almost walking under a turning left white-van, I avoided the temptation from the fresh cream cake shop and hobbled up to the Nottingham Hospice Charity Shop with some donations to give them and an Easter Egg for the staff.

Feeling somewhat dejected, disconsolate, downhearted, and depressed now. I even managed to miss both of the buses that I aimed to catch back up the hill. So I carried on up and over the hill down to Woodthorpe Grange Park, up the path and then right down to the flats.

2Tue07I did almost cheer up a bit when I saw someone with two giant horse-sized poodles! Hehe!

Just as I was taking a picture of the lovely Spring flowers blooming, they both raced into the picture.

That was kind of them.

The daffodils were coming through with beauty and aplomb at the top of the hill, as well.

2Tue08

2Tue09Turning right on my way down the hill, some crows landed in the trees on the outside of the Copse.

Thought it would make a good picture to take them with the flats behind and make a humorous graphic about Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’ at a later date.

But, by the time I’d got the camera out again, the Murder of Crows had fled. Just the one stayed for his photograph to be taken. Haha!

I had a natter with a lady tenant who was waiting for her lift in the foyer. Then went up and called in on Olive. She was in good form. She told me off for getting in a mess with the bank, for putting on weight and for not having gone back to Boots with the new spectacle’s that were leaving painful looking marks on my face and needed putting right. Lovely to hear her like this, I knew she was feeling okay now. Gave her kiss and departed to the flat.

The spirits sank again.

2Tue10Marinated some baked beans in the pan, ready to have later with the last of the roast belly pork slices.

Not sure why I seasoned them the way I did, but keeping the fingers crossed they turn out alright. I mixed BBQ seasoning, garlic, demerara sugar, dark mushroom soy sauce, tomato and bacon cooking sauce, tomato puree, black pepper and large spoon or two of black bean sauce together and left them to marinate for a few hours.

Tasted a spoonful to try the taste after a while. I liked it.

To take the stress of the news away, even if temporarily, I found doing the TFZ graphics for my next series, worked. So, I pressed on for hours and hours starting them off. Still only got three of them finished. Want to get them all done, then post them together.

The brain racing and getting nowhere, fighting against invisible, intractable, untouchable enemy problems that were preventing me getting to sleep…

Inchcock Today – Monday 13th March 2017 – Fantastic dreams, then Laundry Room Duties… Then the Whoopsiedangleplops returned!

1Mon05

Monday 13th March 2017

Hawaiian: Ka Poakahi 13th March 2017

What an utterly fantastic dream! Woke (I thought), around 0235hrs, and got scribbling on the notepad straight away.

The Dream(s): I was in on office and interviewing or counselling people and solving every one of their problems and giving them each a £20 note afterwards. I felt ecstatic: Thought I’d woken up to find that myself in the £300 second-hand recliner, but in an old luxury (I think hotel) room, the sounds of bombing in an air-raid… A knock at the door, and it was each of the people I had helped earlier… A maid appeared with cucumber sandwiches…

Then, I thought I was back in my own flat for real, and grabbed the notepad to record things, and the door chime rang – it was the same folks again, all laughing. We all crowded into the so-called living-room, and we squashed up together as they all called out ‘April Fool Gerry! Laughed and disappeared?

Again I thought I had woken up, struggling out of the chair, fell, put my hands out to break the fall, the walking stick broke and found myself in a classroom, one that I actually used back in my school days, where it seemed I was too scared to leave the empty room for fear of the bullies… a bit vague this bit: But I think Doctor Who, being Dr Lynton Cox this time, lifted me in his Tardis that was green not blue, back to the flat, he didn’t have time for a cup of tea I recall – I went in, and the lift stuck on the 13th floor? Which is really odd, ’cause I pressed the button for my floor, the 12th? Fire Brigade, hospital, bus…

0300hrs: Woke up expecting the dream to continue and actually wondered where it would take me this time and half expected the door chime to go… As I dismounted the rickety chair, I stubbed my toe and realised I was actually awake and bruised???

To the porcelain room, very pleased when Haemorrhoid Harry was not pouring blood, just a few specks. Anne Gyna, Arthur Itis, Duodenal Daniel and Harold Hernia were all being so kind to me this morning. No dizzy spells. Even Little Inchy, had not been bleeding. Excellent start!

Full of uplifting inspiration because I’d remembered so much of a dream, at last, I got the laundry things gathered in the bag, and went down to the laundry room and got the washer going, then up to the flat.

1Mon02I opened the jar of Falsoka, by gum, they don’t half close them lids tight!

Got it into the saucepan and added, what I think was the same as last time that I enjoyed so much.

Tomato & Herb Puree, Soy mushroom sauce and a little bit of demerara sugar. Later when I start to warm it up slowly, I’ll put some bacon bits in the oven and add them too. A right little food experimentationalist,  I’m turning into. Hehe!

Half-hour later, down the lift to move the clothes from washer to dryer. Back up to the flat, and got Olive’s letter for posting and some glass jars for the recycle-bin.

Made a brew, took the morning medications. Turned the computer on and started this post off, and loved having the scribbled dream notes to use, and found I could read them this time?

1Mon03Down and had a slow hobble out along Chestnut Walk to post the letter in the mailbox, then dropped off the jars in the Recycling bin.

The dark morning (0515hrs) was not cold at all, and no wind to speak off either today.

It was a little enjoyable, this was when I realised I had beaten the depressions for the time being, and sang to myself as I walked back to the flats, taking this photographicalisation en route. I believe I was singing Adam Faiths ‘The Time Has Come’ song.

1Mon06Back to the laundry room and retrieved the dried clothing.

Sorted the things out so that they will be put in the airing cupboard.

Cleaned the machines and then cleaned the filters.

Made sure the taps were off, filter replaced and I’d got all the clobber from the machines.

1Mon08The woolly bobble hat had shrunken and barely covers the head top now, but still, Pound Shop goods, so no complaints.

I’ve now got three of these, all a suitable imitation of a kippah.

Up a final time to the flat, stored the clothes away, put the kettle on and back on the computer to carry on with this post.

Made a mug of tea and observed the prepossessing view from the kitchen window was worthy of recording photographically I thought, so 1Mon07I took this one.

Things seem to be improving so much in the down-in-the-mouth-moods.

I’m recognising the beauty in nature again, and find myself singing to myself if you know what I mean.

Fingers crossed please, that nothing untoward occurs to ruin things again.

Then I got on to finishing yesterday’s diary off, better late than never. Haha!

Facebooked a while, then got the ablutions tended to and dressed for the shopping trip to Sainsbury in Arnold. Hoping to catch the 1030hrs bus. (Oh, I do love my free pensioner’s bus pass!)

Feeling rather self-righteous and smug at remembering to put the mobile in the bag and putting the hearing aids in before departing the flat to the lift – Whoopsidangleplop again, I’d got the wrong glasses on – returned to the apartment and swapped them for the bifocal ones. Humph!

Back down in the lift and out to the bus stop. Only one chap was there at the stop, had a little gossip with him. When the City Bus arrived, three of the lady tenants got off, and I gave them a nibble each.

The Bestwood bus was little late, but that is to be expected, because of all the roadworks taking place on the route. I thought I’d photograph the Lady Birds, who were amassed in greater numbers than ever on the bus stop seating and concrete bollards – in fact, there were some in the lift earlier. However, I gave this photographicalisationing a miss. Because I had forgotten to put the camera in the bag. Sad innit?

I dropped off the bus at Sainsbury’s in Daybrook and got some Rye & Sourdough, bread, first time I’ve tried this. I can split it later and share it with Olive… if she likes it that is. A jar of Cantonese cooking sauce, Bacon bits, lemon yoghourts, beetroots on special offer and Surimi fish sticks.

1Mon09Walked into Arnold and called in Wilko, got some Citrus Air spray on offer and Wash Fragrance.

Then to Chamber’s Butchers and got some delicious looking cooked smoked belly pork slices.

Pottered along to Asda and got two pots of Black Bean cooking sauce on offer and two packs of orange lollies.

Struggled with the bags to the bus stop, and was very lucky here, the bus was early, but I just managed to get on, cause some folks were struggling themselves to mount the bus.

Contentedly I did some cross-wording en route and dropped off at the flats and made my way up… it was in the lift that it dawned on me I had not been to the bank to see if the new card works or not! Plonker with bar, me!

Got in and took the photo of the stuff as I unloaded it, and got the bacon cut up and in the oven, to add to the beans, etc. later.

Caught up with this dairy then added the bacon, then rang Olive to see if I could get permission to visit her – a bit inconvenient for her at the moment, but she said I could call in the morning.

I set out to catch the bus to Mapperley top and try the card out.

7sun08Tsk, Huh, Humph and pickled walnuts!!! Next time I’ll take the card with me!

Missed the bus back and had to walk it up the hill.

Got into the flatlet, feeling that the Whoopsiedangleplops had not deserted me, and a right fool to boot!

But I had remembered to turn the Bean stew and bacon light off, so set to warming it up for the meal of the day.

I spotted outside in the distance, smoke from what looked like a fire.

1Mon11

Clean looking smoke, though, so it might have been a garden fire gotten out of hand?

1Mon12As I updated this diary, my acuity faded, so I got the fodder served up and consumed it with great disappointment.

This brand of Fasolka was rather bland in comparison with the more expensive one from Morrison’s.

I’ll stick with the Lowicz brand in future.

Put the washing to soak in the bowl in the sink, and settled to watch some TV. Rubbish programme and I wasn’t in a concentrating mood anyway and nodded off.

Woke a while later with hunger, which confused me with all the food I’d consumed earlier. Made a belly pork sandwich with the Rye-Sourdough bread, settled to watch the football match and fell asleep again – woke up with the half-eaten sandwich and the associated crumbs all over me, the £300 second-hand recliner,  the foot stool and the carpet!

Had a clean-up of sorts then resolved to try once again to watch some TV, Law & Order was on by then. The  first set of commercials sent me off to the land of nod once again, where I stayed until 0330hrs.

Inchcock Today – Friday 10th March 2017

5Fri01

Friday 10th March 2017

Bulgarian: Петък 10 март, 2017 г.

A Nothing sort of Day

I stirred into semi-life and had another attempt at remembering the dreams, again without any luck. Glanced at the clock… Gotten Himmel, It was 0600hrs! I’d been in the land of nod, on and off for over seven hours. I must have been tired, not like me to sleep anywhere near this length of time.

To the porcelain after extracting myself from the shaking wobbly £300 second-hand recliner. So, some good news here again this morning, Little Inchy had responded well to the new cream (Although it did sting a bit more than the other one, hehe), and had not bled at all overnight. Haemorrhoid Harold was only leaking little bits, and this despite the painful evacuation battle just undertaken. Even Duodenal Daniel was a lot easier too. Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis were the only ones upset with me.

Did the first Health Checks. All okay. Took the medications.

Computer switched on and yesterday’s diary was finished off. Did some graphicationalisationing on CorelDraw.

Did the second Health Checks, okay again.

Blogged on for a while.

Then went on Facebook.

Did the third Health Checks, okay yet again.

Did some graphics and posted them off to the TFZ site.

6Sat001

Letters from the bank – all sorted now with the new card.

Did an order for a Morrison delivery for next week and changed the details, but it would not accept my payment. Turned it all off and back on again and tried once more and it took it this time.

Pleased with some long awaited progress, I cleaned the kitchen up a bit. This turned out to be not such a good idea. Within minutes I’d burnt my finger and broke a mug and clouted my head on the draining board.

6Sat03Got a bit peckish early on today, so made the fodder.

A steak pie, new potatoes, garden peas, mushroom with soy sauce and beetroots. A banana and lemon fool followed.

A nice one, despite my dropping some of the peas off the plate and having to extract myself from the £300 second-hand recliner, getting the hoover and brush and cleaning up the mess and the meal got cold before I got back to it. Interesting searching for the peas and thinking you’ve got them all, putting the hoover away and finding more – twice! Tsk! Still, I have plenty of comestibles and victuals to hand.

I double checked the bank paperwork and was satisfied I’d not made any errors. (Fingers crossed here)

Washed the pots and had a look what was on the TV tonight. Decided to watch some DVDs of Doctor Who.

As I settled, two more garden peas were spotted, on the chair this time – and I took off the cover and shook it earlier? I checked underneath it and hit my head in the same spot as I did earlier against the kitchen sink.

Eventually, I got to watched some of the DVD and the innards started rumbling, but this did not last, as soon as I paid yet another visit to the [prcelain, it stopped bothering me.

Took the medications and idly did nothing else other than Health Check and watch the DVD. Finally nodded off around 2130hrs.

It’s been an odd day.

Inchcock Today: Thursday 9th March 2017 -Worra day!

4Thur03

Thursday 9th March 2017

Welsh: Dydd Iau 9 Mawrth, 2017

Woke around 0230hrs, doing my bestest to recall the dreams, but not much luck again. Themes and feelings from them yes, this time a happier atmosphere, but no details. Tsk! Deliberated on life in great depth – two minutes later I dismounted the scarily shuddering £300 second-hand recliner and off to the porcelain.

Little Inchy had been bleeding, he always seems to after the medicos take their samples and prod and poke him at the examinations. Not too bad, though, I got the new cream out of the fridge and applied both that and the old one… too late I remembered they told me to use them on alternate days, Tsk! Did my best to removed all of it and reapplied the new one again. No ablutions yet, too early to risk disturbing the neighbours.

Made a mug of tea and took the medications, I did do the Health Checks but decided to carry out the weighing later when I have my shower, and all the clothing will be off this magnificently misshaped wobbly body. Hehe!

The BP was a bit low, well, the Sys (142) was, anyway. So when I made another cuppa, I did them again, this time up to (151), so no worries.

4Thur05

Onto WordPress and finalised yesterday’s diary and got it posted.

Started doing the graphic for the top first.

Moved onto Facebook.

4Thur04Had a good long shave, cleaned teggies, scrub-up under the shower; using the back brush, scouring sponge and Dettol soap.

Then dried off and medicated, creamed and lotioned the areas in need of the same. Oiled the ear-holes, applied the deodorants, then weighed me self while naked…

And still, the flipping untrustworthy dial indicated that I had gained weight again! Tsk!

Got the nibbles and prizes ready for the Winwood Tenants Social Hour meeting and set off with them… got as far as the lift and realised I’d forgotten to check the kitchen, so returned and was so glad I did, I’d left the tap running. Turned it off, and the wet-room light I’d left on as well (Huh), out to the lift once more, pressed the button… then returned to the flat to collect the hearing aids. Sad, is not the word is it?

Had a natter with Roys wife in the lobby before her taxi arrived, then out to the Winwood Social Hut for the meeting. So happy that I could get to one again at last.

It was Eddy’s 94th birthday today. Sarnies and cake supplied for him by the group. BJ was late, nothing unusual there with him (Hehe), and he was in fine form and looking well fit. Nice little chinwags, gave out the nibbles and went back to the flats having a laugh with some ladies as we struggled to get back in the high winds.

4Thur05Got in the flat and as I made a strong cuppa to have before going out again, I espied some wood pigeon or doves right over in the copse way off in the distance. A sure sign that the growth on the trees were returning. Took a few shots, this being the only one that came out decently.

Looking at it closer later, when I posted it, they’re three birds, (I thought there were only two) all having a kip by the look of it. The leaf/twig in front of the far one, almost makes it look like a swan?

Mum, Dad and offshoot? Bootiful!

4Thur11Got the bags and set out to the bus stop and caught the L9 into Nottingham after a gossip with some tenants.

The Ladybirds, or Ladybugs to the Americans, were rampant on the concrete pillars and seats in the bus shelter again today.

Called in the Victoria Centre to get some of the dark chocolate cashew nuts, but they had sold-out. Went to the Jamaican food stall and got the last two tins of Shiitake & PoKu mushrooms. Then caught a bus to Bulwell to have a look for bargains in the cheap food shops there. After wandering around for over two hours or so, I realised that there were none of any interest to me.

Decided to go back to town on the tram, but having just missed one, I caught (Or so I thought) the bus back to town. I settled with the crossword book for a good while, when I looked up, I had no idea where I or the bus was! Extreme Whoopsiedangleplop! Having the comfort of the Pensioners Bus Pass in my power, I let it take me on, and after going through many estates, some I recognised, I knew we were going towards Arnold, so I stayed on and luckily, over an hour after getting on the wrong bus, I got off at the back of Asda in Arnold.

Noticed the bus I got off of was a City Loop one, I was none the wiser. However a bit of luck here, I noticed on the read out board for the stop, the L9, which will take me to the flats, was due in five minutes! Fifteen minutes later it arrived, and I was so pleased. Hehe!

I’d been into town, got two tins of mushrooms, went to Bulwell found nothing I wanted, got lost ending up in Arnold and caught a bus back to the flats… over four hours lost in getting two tins of mushrooms! And I forgot to go to the bank. Hehehe!

A rather inefficacious outing to say the least.

Back at the flats and hastily as I could manage into the porcelain room. Phew, just in the nick of time, too! Little Inchy got caught in the haste for his services, and the blood flowed. Tsk! Cleaned up changed togs and applied the Anti-fungal OTC cream.

Letter from the bank had been received, put it to one side to read when I was in a more receptive mood.

4Thur12Got the fodder prepared.Easy job today, I’d left the mushrooms in the slow cooker and they were ready.

An easy job today, I’d left the mushrooms in the slow cooker and they were ready.

Tin of curried beans and some crispy streaky smoked bacon were added, a pot of Lemon Fool and a banana for afters.

I felt well drained and a bit of a fool myself, with the Whoopsidangleplop on the bus.

Washed the pots and settled to watch some more of the Doctor Who DVD.

Little Inchy had responded well to the new cream and didn’t leak at all from then on.

1800hrs: Turned over to the TV to watch Heartbeat… don’t remember much more until I woke around 2300hrs. This time I tried to recall the dreams I just knew I’d been having without any luck at all, then just drifted off back into the land of nod again.

Worra day!

Inchcock Today: Wednesday 8th March 2017 – Busy but betterer day!

Wednesday 8th March 2017

Sudanese: Kemis 9 Maret 2017

3Wed03

A  fragmentary dream filled sleep, with sporadic waking up and fretting over everything and nothing. Found I’d made more notes about the nightmares, but none of them readable at all. I do hate it when this happens. I go weeks without remembering any dreams, then a few days clarity and back to the mystery. Hey-ho!

0400hrs: Out of the  £300 wobbly second-hand recliner and to the porcelain. Good this morning, no bleeding anywhere. Duodenal Daniel and Roger Reflux were giving me what for, but easily endurable at the time. Pondered as I sat there on the throne, about what needed attention and action today. Morrison’s delivery 0630 >0730hrs, Dentist visit 0900hrs, Clinic 1130hrs and fresh bread needed.

Carried out the ablutions without getting any cuts shaving or bleeding from Inchies lesion. Things seemed to be going well. I was worried about this!

3Wed02Weighed me bulky, flobby, body. Down this morning, the first time for a while.  Into the kitchen and made a nice mug of tea, and did the health checks.

Into the kitchen and made a nice mug of Twinings English Breakfast tea. A bit scented, but nice occasionally. And did the health checks.

Then did the health checks and took the medications.

3Wed03The Morrison’s delivery driver arrived.

There seemed to be rather lot more fodder in the order today. So I set about sorting the stuff out

So I started sorting the stuff out.

I found the ‘Free’ Strawberry yoghourt pack and put it in the bag ready for when I get out, to drop it off at the Winwood Centre to give to Obergruppenfurheress’s Deana and Julie later.

I recall thinking about ordering some smoked streaky bacon when I did the order but thought I’d decided against this, as I had the Polish Bean Stew to have. But there were two packs of the stuff in there?

W3Computer activated and finished off yesterday’s diary and got it posted off, then started this one.

Cost me a good few hours of my life, and I was not really happy with the result, but I enjoyed doing it. I could tell things were improving in the depression stakes even if only a temporary situation, it cheered me a little and a very rare, warm contentment overcame me as I pressed on with graphicalisationing until it was nearly time to get myself ready for me to get out and do something for once.

I got the nibbles in the bag for the Wardens, record sheet for the Clinic and set out. Got as far as the lift and realised I had not taken the mobile with me, nipped back and collected it. Going down in the lift, it dawned on me I hadn’t got the hearing aids in… Tsk! Decided if I went back to the flat again, I’d be likely to be late for the dentist appointment, so plodded on without them.

I had a wond2tue09erfully warm laugh and conversation with a lady tenant in the lobby on my way out. Roy’s better half, who is as perfect a subject to lip-read as I have ever found.

Called at the bottle bank on Chestnut Grove first.

Then into the Winwood Hut to drop off the treats. Back, up Chestnut Walk, up the steep gravel hill passing the copse, (Anne Gyna let me know this was not a good idea, Hehe) left down through Woodthorpe Grange Park, left up Mansfield Road, over the hill and down to the Dentists. Had a bit of a farce trying to communicate with the receptionists without the hearing aids in. An assistant came down into the reception area to fetch me, this has never happened before, and I  realised she had been on the stairs behind calling my name without me hearing her for a while.

3Wed06I was booked in with a different dentist today, in a separate treatment room (Second floor), which involved my having to climb two set of stairs to get there. Luckily Arthur Itis was kind at that moment. (Although Anne Gyna was still annoyed at my walk up through the park) Dr Vitish Patel this time, Young Asian, designer stubble, handsome and with an almost entirely undecipherable voice.

The layout of the tiny room was different to the usual one and the chair easy to fall out of. The most surprising thing I noticed was the lack of dead insects in the ceiling lighting housing, compared to the usual room.

Got leant back and he carried out the checks within minutes and declared, I need a filling and a chipped front lower tooth repairing. The cracked tooth was not giving me any bother, mind you, the hole wasn’t either. I decided to have the filling done there and then when he offered to do it. Two minutes later, it was done.

Down to pay the characterless receptionist for the treatment, got next appointment and hobble out and down the road to the Wilko store. Where I bought a pack of cheap teaspoons to replace the mysteriously disappearing ones at the flat. Like the odd socks. I wonder if this happens to others? Also got some toilet blocks, bleach, antiseptic disinfectant, batteries for the radio, air spray and citrus deodorant.

Called in the bank, but the manager was unavailable today.

Back across the road and down to the Continental Deli shop. Where I spent, even more, money when I espied that they had some huge jars of Fasolka on the shelves, some bread and cooked belly pork with herbs.

3Wed04Made my way back up to Winchester Street Hill, in the hope of catching an L8 bus up to the flats, as I was now overloaded with heavy stuff in two bags. But the bus came around the corner as I was waiting to cross the road to the bus stop. Shame that!

I had to struggle up the hill with frequent stops to put the bags down and get me wind back.

As I arrived at the top and turned left towards 3Wed05the flats, I put the bags on the decaying roadside bench and stood for a few minutes, pondering on life in general.

The jargogle of thoughts served only to confuse me more about the reason for life’s creation.

Nowadays things are happening quicker, more intense, greedy, selfish, nihilistic… so much extra information and advice for the youngsters to absorb and understand.

Still, the day was warm and humid, and I was going to see Olive when I got in. The eerie sensation of semi-contentment attempting to overcome me unnerved my consciousness. I pondered on how long this would last and when the next Whoopsiedangleplop would arrive?

I pressed on and got into the flats and called on Olive. T’was like going into a room and being greeted with warmth and getting soaked in appreciation of being there.

She had the cleaner ladies with her, and she looked fantastic. She was going into hospital again next week, for the final tests to see if her Crohns disease will allow her to have her hip operation. Amazing woman, she looked cheery and chatted to me despite her obvious pain. I am honoured to know the lady. After a chinwag and laugh twixt us all, I gave her peck and returned with the bags to the flat.

3Wed02Put the shopping away and departed to catch the 40 bus straight to the clinic.

Mr Grumpy, was on the reception again today. Signed in and gave him the paperwork, took a seat and I waited to be called in. Good job I took the crossword book with me, because I got in alright, but 40 minutes after the appointment time. Still, they did look very busy.

They took the tissue sample, and the usual gang of students and nurses were joined by what appeared to be a new intake, all came to have a look (And have a snide poorly concealed giggle) as they peered through the gigantic lighted magnifying machine at Little Inchies lesion. After the examination proper, they took another sample (They probably found out it hurts? Hehe!) for further analysis. The Lady Doctor said she was pleased with the lesion’s depth reduction, but concerned about the swelling, and asked me detailed questions about recent activities in that area. Overall, it was improving, but infection is always possible and got the nurse to get me some new cream to use. This must be kept in the fridge and taken out only when I need to use it. Said this might help with the swelling and to use it along with the usual Daktacort Cream. She is to let me know the next appointment by email and letter.

Caught the bus (Thank heavens for the Pensioners Free Bus Pass) back to the flat, well drained and weary by then.

Got the nos3Wed08h on.

Roast spuds, mushrooms, garden peas, beetroot and some bread with belly pork and herb.

Maybe cause I was feeling a bit cheerier, I really did enjoy this one, and I gave it a deserved 9.59/10 rating.

Once I washed the pots and got settled into the £300 second-hand recliner, Anne Gyna gave me some peace and I got the DVD on to watch some Doctor Who episodes without falling asleep at all! Oh yes! Hehe!

When I changed to the TV to watch some selected programmes that I fancied… the first commercial break sent me off into the land of nod.

Thanks for reading folks!

Inchcock Today -Tuesday 7th March 2017

2Tue001

Tuesday 7th March 2017

Lithuanian: Antradienis kovas 7, 2017

I stirred in the second-hand £300 recliner chair around 0245hrs and thought of the dreams I’d been having, all I recalled was something about an interview in an office and my not knowing any of the answers to the questions demanding the same. This reminded me that I must search for the bank folder with the details and advice in it that I could not find last night. But first things first. 0300hrs: Out of the working shudderingly chair and to the porcelain room.

As I sat on the throne I had a period of febriculose. Although sore, Little Inchy had not been bleeding. Haemorrhoid Harold was bleeding just a little, but nowt to worry about. Duodenal Daniel and Anne Gyna both felt a little less severe than yesterday, so things were not looking bad at all.

I decided to get the laundry done first this morning. Down to the laundry room and got the stuff in the washer. Back up and had a search for the bank package… not luck, and panic was setting in. Had I left it at Olive’s? Had I thrown it in the bin for some reason? Oh Heck!

2Tue001aSoon time to go down and move the washing into the dryer.Up to the flat and got the computer on, made a mug of tea and had breakfast.

Up to the flat and got the computer on, made a nice strong (Thompson’s tea bags) mug of tea and had breakfast.

Got started on the blog and the time soon shot by, so down to retrieve the clothes from the 2Tue03Laundry room. All done by 0505hrs. Into the bag. cleaned the filters and wiped surfaces.

Up and put the clothes away, and I had a deep search for the bank wallet thingy. Amazingly. I found it in the first place I looked! It was between the other wallets in a stack 2Tue04that I did not look in between. Huh, worra clot! But a bit happier clot now. Hehe!

I did the kitchen floor, swept and mopped it. For some reason or other, I used the old mop that was a bit bedraggled? No idea why.

Back on the computer, updated the Morrison Order.

Last night I tried one of the Polish Fasolka jars of bean, bacon and sausage stew in tomatoes. I added some balsamic vinegar, and it was very nice indeed, so I added some to the Morrison’s order for Wednesday delivery.

2Tue07

I’ve got a free 4-pack of Greek strawberry yoghourt coming as well? My first thought was that I could hand this in as a raffle prize at the Winwood Social Hour on Thursday. Then pondered on whether something else would stop me attending this week again? Will the bank manager ever call me like he said he was going to? Will the clinic change any appointments again?

2Tue08At least tomorrow, I only have three things arranged yet, according to my Google Calendar anyway.

I must not forget the dentist.

Finished off yesterday’s diary and got it posted off into the ether.

Started this one off.

Wonder if the bank manager will call me today? I got an email from their head office or whatever this morning, no, yesterday it was – Welcoming me to the bank? Yet still, I have no solution to the Proof of ID problem?

W3Did some WordPress reading.

Then onto Facebooking.

Then Graphicalisationing.

Got this one finished for the TFZers site.

Then set about starting the daily feast.

Today I opted for something a little unconventional.

2Tue09Mushroom Rissoto, a sliced apple, a small can of vegetarian sausage and baked beans to be followed with a pot of Lemon Curd yoghourt.

This decision was prompted partly by the lack of choice in the fridge, of fodder to choose from – induced by my having to stay in so as not to miss the call from the new prospective Bank Manager for two days, that still has not arrived.

However, it was delicious. I added a drop of soy sauce to the rissoto. Very tasty! Things will improve option-wise shortly in the food options area, I’ve got the Morrison delivery coming tomorrow morning, I hope, between 0630 > 0730hrs.

Must remember the 0900hr dentist visit, as well as the Clinic… oh and call at the bank too on Wednesday (Tomorrow). Luckily no cleaners, nurses (Enoxaparin injections), Susan Chiropodist or INR blood tests arranged on this day.

Got changed and settled to watch some of the Dr Who DVD, then onto the TV… I don’t know why I bother mind, I’d kept drifting off and missed more that I watched. Nothing new there then. Hehe!

Early dreams that I made notes of that I found as I kept waking, but could not remember the dream or scribbling the notes? Not much of a clue. I’d written: Old dreams – Co-op, housing estate, delivery bike, ordering. That’s all. I assume with the word dream there, and that they were, actually notes about the dream, and not some sort of reminder of things for me to do? Sad innit?

Think I drifted off around midnight.

I hate myself when I feel like this!

Saturday 4th March 2017

Welsh: Dydd Sadwrn 4 Mawrth, 2017

Yesterday I nosedived into dysphoria at the news and complications with the bank. I spent most of the night awake pondering, regretting and feeling self-pity. I cannot see a solution. This was in-between nod-offs when dreams permeated and I’m sure made me feel worse, but I cannot recall actual details of any of the short dispiriting dreams, just a sense of defeatism and frustration.

Around 0300hrs I disentangled myself from the £300 second-hand recliner, no demands for the using of the porcelain yet, strange that for me.

Made another brew and did the first Health Checks.

3wed04Got the mucky clothes ready and went down to the Laundry Room.

Met fellow tenant Roy doing his laundry and we had a nice chinwag and laugh.

Got the washer going and up to the flat. Still no movement in the porcelain situation.

Made a mug of tea.

Carried out the second Health Check.

5fri12a

The weight seems to be going up and up? The temperature is too. Not that I was too concerned about this, in my low mood.

Back down and moved the clothing into the dryer. Back up to the flat again.

6sat04Sorted the medication dosage pots out.

Got the computer on and started these diaries on WordPress.

I have worried about suffering uhtceare, but not any longer do I worry about it, it has become the norm for me each and every morning.

Back down again to collect the now dried washing.

Up and put the clobber away.

Updated the excel readings and found the word uhtceare and loved it, so I used it as in the above. UHTCEARE: “There is a single Old English word meaning ‘lying awake before dawn and worrying.’ Uhtceare is not a well-known word even by Old English standards, which were pretty damn low. In fact, there is only one recorded instance of it actually being used.” Ten rare English Words to use

I’m now hoping someone will notice I’ve used this most appropriate and suitable word, and maybe I can become famous? Forget it, not my luck. Humph!

Spent a good few hours on WordPressing, then went onto Facebook.

Got the nosh and did the final health checks and took the medications.

So tired and full of angst about the bank problems, fretting too. Anne Gyna was causing me great discomfort in the extreme tonight.

Damnations, Duodenal Daniel has started off now.

Humph!

Inchcock Today – Fri 3rd March 2017: Increased contentment, then Depression returns!

Friday 3rd March 2017

פרייטאג מערץ 3, 2017 Yiddish

5fri11I stirred around 0130hrs, extracted myself out of the recliner and to the porcelain. Pleased to report no bleeding, although, the hands and arms had acquired a rash of some sort?

Did the early Health Checks, the weight had gone up a bit?

Got a drink of orange juice and photographed the hand, then I returned once again to the £300 second-hand recliner to settle once more.

I noticed I had written something on the pad I keep handy to make notes of any dreams or any things I remember need doing, during the night. All I’d wrote was: floods, river, cave and dark?

Nodded off and stirred again at 0315hrs. The porcelain needed attending again (Oh, dear!). Made a flask of tea to last me a while, and onto the computer to do the diaries. Finished Thursday’s and posted it.

Then on CorelDraw to work on a graphic for the TFZ site.

Got the new header updated: Trimmed and posted to go in with the others.

new02

4thur04Got the vegetables cut up and into cold water in the Crock-Pot ready to put on when I go out to see Pete later.

Rang Olive to get permission to visit her on my way back fro the meeting and shopping.

Did the ablutions and got things ready to take with me that I needed, passed wing and set out to catch the bus in plenty of time.

5fri02So sad to see the tree that was in the centre of the green now gone, just the trump left, Humph!

A new Scottish resident who rarley speaks or even answers when anyone says anything to him, like, ‘Good morning’, was ranting away in his strong accent about the destruction of the trees.

Listened to a few residents chibwagging while waiting to catch a bus, but I was the only one wanting the L9 destined for the City Centre.

5fri01I noticed that each nad every one of the concrete bollards has its own Loveliness of Ladybirds that seemed to have settled together on the tip of each post.

The other two came and went and I waited in the drizzle and wind another ten minutes for the City bus, which eventually arrived very late. This could not be avoided due to roadworks in Daybrook delaying all the traffic at the mement.

The other two buses came and went and I waited in the drizzle and wind another ten minutes for the City bus, which eventually arrived very late. This could not be avoided due to roadworks in Daybrook delaying all the traffice at the mement.

Arrived in town and dropped off into the rain on Upper Parliament Street and hobbled into the Victoria Centre.

Had a good walk around the Market, didn’t buy anything though. Down to the lower level and popped into the HMV shop, got a Jonathon Creek DVD. I was feeling far more cheerful than I have done for a good while.

Then into Tesco and got some bits, bread, bacon and Sopocka loin.

Out then to meet Pete at his bus stop. Gave im the pressies and nibbles, had a few minutes gossip and then went over the road to catch the last L9 bus back to the flats.

Into the flat and put the things away, went to check on the Crock-Pot vegetables and found that I had not put turned pot on! This started my sinking into a self loathing and pitying depression again…

I called in to see Olive and she had a look at the paperwork from the bank for me – while doing this, I got a phone call on the mobile from the bank manager – It seems that one of the qualifying items I’d supplied, from the Council Tax, had got the wrong postcode on it and is no acceptable. He is going to give me time to look for another statement from the m with 2016-2017 on it… which of course is impossible, as only one statement is issued a year?

He said he would phone me on Monday to see if I had found one. If Olive had not been there, I would have cried out loud.

I left Olive a different person to how I was when I arrived there. Morbid, listless and morose, dispitirited, woebegone and utterley depressed.

5fri04Back to the flat and had a meal, Mushroom Risotto, vegetable sausages (Very nice), chestnut, shiitasha and Po-Ku mushrooms and crispy bacon;

It should have been a wonderful nosh, but how I was feeling, so low now, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I should have.

To make things worse, I carried out the last Health Check and I’d put on 2lb from yesterday?

Feeling melancholy, lugubrious and so sorry for missen.

I hate me when I get like this.

Inchcock Today – Thur 2nd Mar 17:

3wed05

Thursday 2nd March 2017

Javanese: Thursday 2 Maret 2017

0240hrs: Woke in the £300 second-hand recliner chair, disappointed that I could not recall anything about the dreams I knew I had had. However, despite this, I felt far less sullen about life and almost sanguine in my outlook. Why, and what had changed? I’ve no idea: but was so glad at how I felt, praying this outlook will persist a while longer for me.

The wind was howling and the rain was beating down and I made my way to the porcelain for a heavy-duty session and once again, no bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harry or Little Inchy at all. This rare good start to the day almost jargogled my brain as I thought maybe I was really still asleep and dreaming? Hehe!

Did the first health checks, made a mug of tea and took the first medications of the day.

I made sure I’d got all the things needed for the visit to the new prospective bank man meeting to transfer all my stuff to, and I put them in the bag ready to go later.

Computer turned on and worked on yesterday’s post, then moved to start this one while I remembered things I’d done this morning up until now, then back to the Wednesday post to finalise and post it off.

clanConfirmed via email with Sister Jane that I would meet her in the morning… no, afternoon tomorrow at her bus stop at 1445hrs.

Updated the Health Check List on Excel. Responded to messages on WordPress. Then went onto Facebook.

Onto CorelDraw and titivated the graphic of TFZer gal Suzieann, and posted it to the TFZers site.

Took a good ablutionising session and set off with the bag of nibbles and raffle prizes to drop 4thur11off at the Winwood Social Hut, along with notes from Olive to ask the bank manager at the meeting.

Rather sad to the blokes doing the preparation work for the modernisationing of the dwellings by hacking down the Chestnut Trees.

Penny and Obergruppenfurheress Warden Julie were in. Gave Penny (Past Warden of the flats and now newly self- appointed4thur12 Social Hour Organiser) the things and explained why I will be missing yet another Social Hour, then plodded down Winchester Hill into Sherwood.

Espied whatever these berries are growing in the hedgerow over the wall and wondered what they were? The wind was a blowing somewhat, so this is the best

The wind was a blowing somewhat, so this blurry effort is the best I could manage at taking a photo of them.

I was in plenty of time for the meeting, so had an amble up Mansfield Road, noticing that in the Bird’s Cake shop, they had only about six of the iced scones I liked. So I nipped in and asked them if I could pay for a couple and collect them later (Cause they are bound to be sold by the time I get out of the meeting with the bank manager) – and the girl said no problem.

Poddled further up the hill and got a TV magazine for next week then strolled down to the bank and waited for the meeting.

The Bank Manager greeted me in the foyer and asked me to wait a while and that a lady would be sitting in with us on the meeting if that is alright. I said okay and did some of the crosswords in the book while waiting.

My having difficulty in hearing what he was saying and him having a mouth that was so hard if not impossible to lip read made it hard going for both of us, although he was patient. I actually changed the batteries in the Hearing Aids and tried different settings without any luck in getting them to work, this puzzled me until I saw the solidly impacted ear wax blocking the earpiece on the right lughole.

After over an hour of, to me, hard work in form filling signing etc, I thought to myself: They recognise dyslexia as an ailment illness, so why do they not acknowledge folk like me who have similar problems with maths and numbers? Just a thought like.

I had to pull up the manager a few time (3) when I saw him enter details on the computer that were wrong. He misspelt my name on one, put a wrong number in and selection of my personal details on a page, one of the many pages he was forced to fill-in and explain to me as he did so.

5fri07About two hours after entering the room, he said we are onto the last session now… another hour later it was all done, and I ended up with a folder of waffle to ‘Read through later at my leisure’ as he said.

They must be 30 forms and booklets in the pack, and I’m going to need a bit of advice and help on digesting all this.

He added that I will be receiving two phone calls from the bank asking about the interview and how it went?

Then a call from him to arrange another meeting to discuss investment opportunities and other accounts and options available. He already mentioned they supply home and other insurances, pensions etc.

All this I imagine, to cover regulations and to satisfy the bank’s natural addiction to quomodocunquising?

We nattered between sorting things, and the lady kindly reminded me tp collect my cream cakes from the shop. Hehe!

I felt well drained as I left to walk to collect my cream cakes from the shop.

5fri01Up the hill to the bus stop and nearly fell asleep and missed the stop at the flats. As I dismounted the bus, all of the concrete bollards had ladybirds massing on them. I still can’t find out why, though? Should they even be about in February?

Got in the flat and put the folder from the bank away and visited the porcelain – no bleeding again. Good!

Sister Jane rang, she thought I was meeting her today and had been waiting for me at her bus stop in town… Oh dear! She could not meet me tomorrow but will send hubby Pete to meet me and collect the nibbles and pressies.

5fri02Got the nosh going.

The Sourdough bread, unfortunately, was uneatable, it had gone bitter for some reason? And I threw away the tomatoes, they were extremely bitter too. Not that I needed them, plenty of other fodder to eat. The cream cakes were nice afterwards.

I did the washing up and sat down with a mug of orange juice and pondered over whether or not I should get the ever increasing pile of washing done… and fell asleep.

5fri04Woke and it was getting dark.

Took the medications and changed into night attire.

Got the TV on to watch some Heartbeat. Fell asleep and woke up again late on.

Made a drink, and settled to watch The Persuaders, didn’t even get to the first commercial break, nodded off again.
