The second half of the day is a mystery to me. I took a turn and stopped doing everything. I got down in the second-hand, c1966, £300 charity shop-bought, wincingly grotty, beige-coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner, and just stayed there.
The symptoms were a new occurrence for me. I was not dizzy exactly, but oh so vague. My thoughts didn’t seem to be my own. Apart from getting up to empty the tank a few times, I sat there for about eight hours or more, seemingly uninterested in getting up. I was so drained, but Sweet Morpheus was not attainable at all. I stayed there for two Carer visits. No meal, and no interest in eating. I left the TV on all the time, with the sound off. The odd dropping-offs were short… and at about 01:00hrs, as I got up to empty the pouch again, my balance was all over the place. I had a sense that I may not have checked the taps and cooker, so went to the kitchen, all fine, then the wet room… Things were fine there, too; as I turned to leave, a short had me walking into the doorframe yet again. Thus, setting off into action.
This Accifauxpas seemed good to me. I became a little more compos-mentis of things, but that brought on the realisation that I had not even started on the blog yet. Tomorrow, the Diabetes Phone Call and Assessment are due in the morning. Will I ever get this blog done?
Back came the fretting and worrying about just about anything that had been absent during the seizure, and I almost welcomed the concerns and worries back home like a lost puppy! Hehe! A short time later, I took a photo of the morning view and got the ablutions tended to. A shave, sh…, teggies, and shower.
I’ll have to rush this one. Sorry for missing stuff and for mistakes that are bound to slip through. It’s been a busy day all the same, so there’s a lot to recall when I upload the pictures. I’m hoping they will prompt Memory Michael., but… Hehe! Some scribble is still readable on the notepad for the earlier part of the day.

06:10hrs: I sprang back to life, full of vim and vigour, bounded out of the recliner and did twenty press-ups, 40 Toe-Touches and 5 minutes shadow boxing…
.
Back to the truth…
06:10:hrs: As I moved, I could feel Little Inchy’s Fungal Lesion bleeding. I noticed that the urine in the pouch was very dark…

I emptied the wee into the jug I use for the day bag, and it looked far too red for my liking. The District Nurses have not visited me for a couple of months now, and I will do my best to remember to ring them later and tell them about the catheter not being removed for so long. Oh, and the electric-like pains in the ankle. Although I’m certain, this is caused by saying I’m sure of something maybe stretching the actuality of things.

Another foggy morning.

,

Foggier now.

Asda order arrived

Five items are out of stock.

I still have some of my favourites.
.
These burgers are so nice tasting.

The best-tasting baguettes I’ve ever had!
Back on the computer.

Carer Shaquille arrived. Did his things, and we had a laugh along the way.

Carer Kara arrived later on. She sorted out some emails for me and showed me how to reject further emails from whoever. It was so easy as well, but with my eyesight, I missed the option at the bottom of the emails in question; it was in light green and or pink.
Be lost without her. ♥

The doctor’s surgery rang on the landline, with the NHS Anticoagulation, Deep Vein Thrombosis, and Warfarin test results and dosages.

The Seizure Struck. Well dark when I came out of it.

Beautiful late afternoon clouds.
With a brown hue, very pretty!

The brown was turning to blue an hour later.
Wonderful variations!

.
Took these over five minutes, capturing the sun on its way down over the horizon. And turning red.
It made me think of Putin!

Put the TV on.

Does this take you back?
Heartbeat is my favourite TV programme.

Inchy: Thurs 12 Oct 2023 – A late cluster of mishaps!

Easy-Peasy! Well…
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

A horrible day of ups & downs.
Although the ups were enjoyed.
I was doomed to have more downs.
Along with my having to put the right
leg up every four hours. And now suffer increased
pain when I return to my feet after each rest
session. I’m hoping the District nurse will return
today. The compression bandage has slipped down, returning to the constant, almost stabbing-like
pains whenever the flipping fluid flows out.
Which this morning, is getting oftener.
On two leg-up occurrences, up to now, I’ve
nodded off and lost even more time for to blog
and photographicalisationings.
Still, there are plenty of folk worse off than I.

Eerie morning view of the kitchen from the doorway.

Yet another not-so-good picture taken from the kitchenette window. Lots of lights on for 04:40hrs?

Made up a waste bag. (Exciting this innit? Hehe!)

Then, within about an hour, I had to utilise the wet room and , no less than 3-times! All were under the control of . But were different in about everything. Texture, pong etc…
.
Then…
Then…
porc tttA good variety today?

Toes & legs improvement… well
at least I got the one remaining slipper on.
Then changed my mind
when I smelt the ping of urine floating up
into my nostrils. So I dished both slippers, along
with the three bags of waste, down the chute.

By the time that arrived, I’d been on the computer for about an hour and had just suffered…

Blogged away after he’d gone, for about half an hour…
.

returned, and I utilised the , and took his Health Checks.
Looking fine fettle, the lad is!

Then a major unanticipated kip of the day!
I had to give the leg a rest up on the chair. So, I got into the c1966, £300 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, to get some respite from the leg wounds.
I had a look at the Freeview schedule and expected that an episode of ‘Pie in the Sky’ was on for an hour. Well, I thought, that’ll do me, nicely for one of the four hours of leg-up time. Zzz! Nodded off at the first set of adverts, and woke up about five hours later!

Stirred, caught my balance and onto my feet, emptied the . Then I added some Christmas giveaway drinkies, and some AA batteries to the Asda order for next week.

I got some of the cheapo Asda Essential chips from the freezer, and I got them into the oven. Finished on the computer, I’d not even started this blog until the morning.
They looked nice when I got them in the dish and served up. They were the most disgusting, flavourless chips I’ve had in my life. And believe me, I must have had many thousands of them over the years. Urgh!
The soy pads were the same… the tomatoes were fine as were the garden peas… as for the strawberry dessert, which got knocked on the floor, and I crushed it with as I got up to retrieve it, and the jam squirted out, over my slipper and the carpet. Not the most successful mealtime I’ve had!

But worse was to follow! I was about to wash the pots and had to visit the wet room, for yet another visit.
Amazing! Just wind emitted? With the state of my innards and bladder, amazing is not the right word, is it?

As I took this photo of my feet and legs, I got a whiff of urine strongly? On investigation, I realised that the open-close valve on the day bag was indeed in the open position again! The left foot squelched as I took a step!
The last of the slippers was laid to rest (disinfected, wrapped up well, and thrown in the waste bag) amidst a silent chant from me, filled with F-words and various others of a derogatory & cursing nature. I think I may have spat in the WC as well… if I didn’t, I should have! I did get an odd moment of satisfaction as I lobbed it down the waste chute, and with a short funeral soliloquy… of five words. I then returned hobblingly, due to pain from to the flat… back to clean up the mess in the wet room, and then spat in the WC!
What can go wrong next, I asked myself…
I’ll tell you!
With all the hobbling I’d done, was now bleeding. So, I cleaned that up, got the cream on him, and had to change the PPs. Got the old ones off without any bother. With the assistance of , I got the fresh ones on with almost ease. Great! for a second…

You can laugh at this series of s. I know I did. What fun they were, they had me in tucks! Especially the last one, coming up now
gave way instantly the moment I put my leg down. Naturally, the leg crumpled and being as I’d got at that time, , and with no stick, stick within grabbing range all day! It was hilarious! As the valve flipped open when the fragile hit the deck, with all the mass weight of my cumbersomely heavy body weight and the currently bloated, by compression bandages landed on top of the pouch. Hahaha! Cleaning things up was a pleasure, which I carried out while singing to myself, smiling and then whistling. It took me 40 minutes to do.

Then a dreadful, scary, shocking, blood-curdling thought entered my head… Had I left the taps (faucets) running in the kitchen when starting to do the pots, before having to abandon things to use the , and got distracted by all the , and farcicalness, from when I was washing up the pots?

I had!

Not a good end to the day, really…

Cheers!

THE PAROLE BOARD WILL CUT IT SHORT!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

DVT Nurse, then the Urology Nurse Fiona, who called twice; First, to take off the catheter and scan the bladder and returned to scan again. She was not so happy with this one. and to see how and if the urine was flowing. She’s coming back tomorrow to do another bladder scan, with ink inserted. And if necessary, to put the catheter back in. Oh, dearie me! Amazon delivery. Important letters arrived. Trotsky Terence was in full charge of the many messy Porcelain Throne usages. I took a tumble in the hallway. Got to stop taking the Anti whatsit capsules… but may need to start taking them tomorrow according to the ink reading results on the scanner. I’m thoroughly confused now. Although this is nothing unusual.

Burnt fingers on the oven. Then I lost the mobile phone. Found it four hours later… I prefer not to say where I found it… Oh, go in then… It was in the oven!?!? Luckily the oven was not on. The question is, why and how did I put it in there in the first place? Pass!

So, an even busier day, the photos and graphics will get put on. Many memory blanks, it’s getting late already and I’ve not started the blog graphics yet.

Two morning photos were taken between the multitude of messy, spongy, gooey visits suffered.
.

.
Potatoes are put in a slow cooker around 08:00hrs.
Got taken out around 21:00hrs.

.
Got the Night Catheter off.

.
The eighth visit to the .

.
The ninth visit to the .

.
Nurse Fiona arrived, she was a breath of fresh air, Bless Her! (Yes, I fell in love again!) She was here for well over an hour. When she’d painlessly removed the catheter from Little Inchie, she did a bladder scan.
Too much urine in the bladder. Back to water drinking. That amount of urine should have been released into the catheter. She said she’ll return later in the afternoon to have a look. Constantly reminding me to drink, drink, drink! Hehe!
So I drunk!

The Asda order arrived

.
Made sure I guzzled water while putting the food away!

.
Delivery

.
Bit naughty with the biscuits?

.
Cut back on this order

.
Although… maybe not enough? Haha!

.
When Fiona returned, I’d shrank a two-litre bottle of Valley Spring water. A one-litre Sunrise water and a flavoured 2-litre Elm Water.
I showed Fiona the water bottle for the urine and the drops I’d passed, and Fiona seemed happy enough with my efforts. She asked me to try and pass again, which I did, but not a lot. Seeing the liquid changed her mood a smidgen, And she did another bladder scan there and then.
She, or someone else, will return tomorrow with a different scanner. I don’t think she was impressed with whatever it was that the scanner revealed. She repeated that if I can’t pass more water, they will have to refit the Catheter in the morning; if so, I’m to restart taking the Acute Pyelonephritis capsules.
It’s all go here!

Teatime rains

Around 19:30 hrs. Wonderful sky!

Carer Kara and Joseph called during the day. Kara will try to contact Easy-Link to get a lift to the Coppice Mental Health Hospital for me. And contact Easy Link about whether or not I owe them or they’ve taken the money out.

Well, fancy that!

Straps were left by Fiona in case the catheter has to go back on tomorrow.
at the thought of it!

Fiona left reminders for me about things. I can’t remember what they were at the moment. They were for the carers as well, I think.

Carer Richard Did the late call on me. Checked the Meds, taps, and cooker. He wrote a message in marker pen on the fridge door, as he knew I was abbot to cook my belated meal of the day, to remind me to turn off the taps and cooker.

Early morning nosh prepared.
Very nice, too, it was.
Flavour Rating 8.5/10.

Evening all No! – MORNING ALL

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 17th December 2019: Liberty-Global Virgin Media & Iceland assured it was a terrible day!

1 Dec 17

2019 ttDec 17

Tuesday 17th December 2019

German: Dienstag, 17 Dezember 2019

01Dec 17

WD Indigo 00:15hrs: I woke up, in a lackadaisical, lethargic, incurious pococurante disposition. Possibly brought on my the dreams I’d been having? But actual facts of the dream are not recalled at all, but the mood of them, was I think, of a defeatist, negatively-fatalistic nature.

It took a while, and some pointless failed self-analysing before I gave up, and began to haul my extracurricular oversized, flabby torso from the £300 second-hand recliner. Once again, the need for a wee-wee encouraged this activity. I grabbed the four-pronged walking stick and hobbled to the wet room. The SGSS (Short-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) evacuation was soon over. Washed the hands and into the kitchen.

WD Indigo No sooner did I get there, I needed to make an imitation dash (quick-hobble), back to the use the Porcelain Throne. Just in time, and it was a messy affair, that needed a lot of cleansing and medicating afterwards. Too much bleeding for my mind. Got freshened up again, and back to the kitchen. On the way, the EQ warned 2Tue02ame of upcoming annoyances. Oh, dear!

I made a brew and imbibed the medications.

WD Indigo Then got the computer on to to the updating of the Monday Inchcock Today diary. But and however, things were not right with the much-hated Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet!

Vir 0.50.0

It was a struggle, at it kept failing to save, sticking and coming back on. More annoying than usual, because the Sensory nerves were the best they have been for months, and I knew this would not last long, and they’d, soon be back playing to up. Grumph!

2Tue01I left the computer and went to make another brew of tea. (Yes, the thirst for tea was back again!)

I took a photo of the view while the kettle boiled, and I boiled inside at Mr Fries and his comically inept internet service! That is guaranteed to let one down! Spit!

WD Indigo I tried once more with the computer.

vir 120.0.60

WD Indigo But not for long, about an hour into updating:

Vir 0.50.0

WD Indigo After turning off and resetting, I had to give up again. Thank you again, Mr ‘Incompetent‘ Fries. You really ought to give up on Media and open a hot dog stall in Central Park. Mind, you’d probably burn it down or something! What was it you lied to me about in your last letter, not the one before that one, where you told me the price of the shitty service is going up again! The one sent ten-days ago. Let’s have a look at it, shall we? We might as well, cause there is little chance of doing anything else, like going on the pathetic Liberty-Global powered computer to work! I’ll find it… Ah, here it is. It’s in very small print, isn’t it? Must save your penny-pinching, customer-hating company in ink, I should think. And customers who are silver-surfers (Or in Liberty-Global terminology, Silver Hobblers) will not be able to read you misleading, untrue statements?

2Tue06

WDP11LWD Indigo WordPress readers, can you believe this! “We know how important it is for your home to get brilliantly fast and reliable Virgin Media Services…” Hahaha! Utter-Tosh!

What happened to the free internet for all the politicians were speaking about? Oh, yes, that was Jeremy Corbyn who promised free broadband for every home under a Labour government. Well, they’ve shot that haven’t they!

vir 120.0.60

At long last, I could get some updating done. Heck of a job, but it was finally completed and sent off. I made a start on this post, but the internet kept going very slow at times, and I had to keep waiting for it to come back on properly.

I sent a few piccies off to Pinterest, then went on the TFZer Facebooking.

2019 Feb 26aDeana called to do alarm checks. I took the opportunity to mention the WC and the leaking hot water tap to her. She kindly said she would inform the maintenance shower for me, and get back to let me know when, if, they are to arrive to sort out the situation, which she says 2Tue07is just a new washer needed.

WD Indigo The Iceland order arrived and I set about putting the things away. Noticing that there were two substitutes on the order. In place of the two 400g Milk Roll loaves of bread, there were two 800g White Sliced Loaves. I cursed a little inwardly, then aloud! There is no way they will fit in the freezer!

2Tue08WD Indigo Also, the two 300g packs of Maple Barbeque pork loins, were one, with a substituted 500g plain pork loins. Crap substitutes, rotten Iceland, and I was getting het-up again! Gits! So, I got the checking done and stuff put away, all bar the unwanted, totally different, twice a large, tasteless, unrequested, unwelcome, undesired, unprompted, bland, bread they had substituted!

2Tue09

WD Indigo Iceland is on a par with Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet, Rubbish!

I took the waste bags to the chute – and recycling bag down to caretaker’s bin.

2Tue10Back up to the apartment, and got the food goods stored away. Taking a picture of the rather bleak weather on view outside.

Got the coat on again, and I took the substituted pathetic flavourless bread down to the Social kitchen. They can use it for toast maybe for the  Social kitchen. One lady there, she was on her mobile. She took the 2Tue11dated 22nd Dec, bread from the trolley and said thank you. Not many folks around, I’d hoped to ask Deana about Mo and how she was, but I forgot to, and there was no one else to inquire of. The office was closed.

I snapped this photographicalisation of the lit Christmas Tree on the way back through the link corridor to Woodthorpe Court.

That little hobble home was one of despondency and low spirits. And I don’t know why.

WD Indigo I got up in the lift to the flat, and had a wee-wee, and found Little Inchies fungal lesion bleeding again. It’s always painful cleaning things up and applying the cream, whether it be the Corticosteroid, Clobetasone, or Daktacort EX cream, they all make one’s eyes water, in this department. Hehe! No idea why I laughed then?

2Tue03I got the new picker-upper from the three-wheeled trolley guide bar. It is not safe there now, with the plastic gripper having split. Tsk! I’d only had the thing for a few hours before it cracked! Botherations!

As I went into the front room to go to the 2Tue04computer, I put the picker-upperer on the airer, and gave it a try with light stuff, then had a go at picking up the tub with the Chinese salted sweet nut brittle sweets in it, that I had knocked over earlier, and fell beneath the airer. You can see how large it was in the photo, the sweet wrappers are red. It grabbed and 2Tue12lifted it alright!

Heated oven ready to have pork steaks (One day life on it! – Shit Iceland), and flavoured beans (marinated with Hoisin sauce for, later on, I hope) for the nosh.

2Tue03I did some updating on this post for a few hours. I checked the yesterday receipts, before dishing them.

WD Indigo This may be hard to grasp, but yesterday, paying at the self-serve checkout at Asda (Walmart), I think I may have somehow or other, managed to overcharged myself! Sad innit?

I went to check on the unwanted pork chops in the oven. Turned it down a smidge, and went to take some jars down for Warden Julie. Who I found, no longer needs any jars. Ah, well!

Back at the flat, the Warfarin Level and doses had been delivered from the Anticoagulation Haemostasis Deep Vein Arterial Thrombosis Clinic. A mouthful that name, for some reason I like it? The new result, 4.8, far to high, which may go to explain the funny clopidogrel legs lately, as well as how cold I’ve and am feeling with the very thin blood.

2UseI got the meal sorted (blimey the stack of washing up top do!)

I’d made far too much, but what I did eat was okay. Although, the flavouring was also too strong. Flavour Rating; 6/10.

I tackled the washing up, which took a long time, with the grease from the not very lean lamb chops that I didn’t order.

I got settled in the recliner and pondered on the day. Whoopsidangleplops mostly down to Liberty-Global’s Mr Fries and Iceland.

Put the TV on, and fell asleep within minutes!

Inchcock Today – Friday 18 August 2017

Friday 18 August 2017

Sethoso: Labohlano la 18 August 2017

Woke at 0305hrs: Feeling almost insensate as the demented mind toyed with itself seemingly considering many facets, thoughts and ideas at the same time. Mostly in a psittacistic manner, and these evaporated within seconds of their arrival in the brain-box. I put this down to my having a dream as I woke up and the subconscious clinging onto bits of them?

The knees were much easier as I dismounted the £300 second-hand recliner. However, the plates were not. I’ll be glad when Sue the foot-lady comes. Limped into the wet room for a Porcelain Throne session. All good.

Into the kitchen and made a brew.Health Checks were done.

Health Checks were done, and medications were taken. Took an extra Codeine this morning, to help mitigate the stinging and burning pain from the tootsies.

Got the diary finished for yesterday and posted it off.

I went to make another brew to replace the one that had gone cold.

0415hrs: Took this picture from out of the window, did you spot the oddity? A free parking space! Haha!

Had a thought out of the blue – I have not had the INR blood test results yet? This in mind, I went to check the door to see if it had arrived, and as I put the light on in the hallway (Well, I thought I had), it did not light up. Oh, dear, thought I, another bulb blown! I felt my way along to the door and saw two bright patches on the floor that were two letters, one with the INR results and one from Pharmacy2U?

As I returned with the intention of getting another bulb, I spotted the light glowing under the convenient 1¾ inch gap at the bottom of the wet-room door.

I’d turned on the wrong switch and had lit up the Throne Room by error for the hallway. Tsk, Wotta Plonka!

The Pharmacy2U solicitous advert did not install any confidence or feelings of trustworthiness in me. They had initially posted it to the address I lived at years ago? If I did sign up, what would the chances of the prescriptions getting through to me? Tsk!

Got the computer back on and checked the Emails and sent off a request for an appointment for the next INR blood test for Tuesday next. With a happy heart, because I knew Nurse Nichola was back on duty and I stood a chance of her seeing to me this visit.

WordPress reading then started this diary off.

Did a Morrison’s fodder order for next week. It was getting much lighter now.

Carried out the ablutions without too many shaving cuts today, only two.

I chose not to abrogation my wishes of getting out for a bit of a hobble, down into Sherwood to get some bread and aluminium foil trays.

Knocked on neighbours door. Josie, to see if she was interested in taking the ready meal off my hands. But she does not eat chicken, so that was that. Set out into the sunshine with the second Chinese Chicken Curry in sauce meal with me.

It was a bit windy, but not cold at all with it. Called at the Obergruppenfurheresses Cabin and gave Obergefreitereress Julie the meal. She seemed to like it and told me I was a diamond?

Set off on the hobble down Winchester Street Hill and a  good few folks were at the bus stop, awaiting the arrival of the L9 bus.Had a chinwag with them then continued down near the allotments.

Had a chinwag with them, then continued down and passing the allotments and into Sherwood. Left and down to the Continental Food Store to see if they had any of the small sliced wholemeal bread. They did not, so I got a small white one instead. But, they did have some of the Krakowski Cooked belly pork with herbs and garlic. My will-power was immediately emaciated at seeing this meat, and I got some thick slices and felt thick afterwards for paying so much for it. Tsk!

Out and up the hill, calling in one or two charity shops window shopping for bargains. I didn’t find any. Popped into the Wilko Store and got some foil trays.

Hobbling nice and slowly now, no rush the bus back up the hill was not due for ten-minutes. I heard an emergency vehicle siren, and a police car sped by with what looked like four Officers, and I could see clearly, at least one of them had machine-gun type weapon in his arms! The police car was almost out of sight by the time I got the camera out and zoomed in, to take this shot of it going towards the City Centre, on Mansfield Road.

As the bus arrived, William only just got there in time. A chinwag en route and walk from the bus stop to the flats, I enjoyed listening to him talking, a nice chap he is. Still on the Morphine.

Back in my mini-flat, I had a wee-wee and checked out what I was going to have for fodder. I think belly pork sandwiches, tomatoes and maybe a few potatoes with the garden peas. Final determination to be made later.

Got the computer back on and updated this diary to here.

Email checks again.

Got the nosh served up, and it looked beautiful on the plate.

In reality, most of the food was a disaster, I have to report. Huh!

Rated this one a 4.4/10.

Health Checks and medications sorted.

The Boon, DVD watched for a while. Fell asleep doing do. Woke for the Wee-wee, and started nibbling.

Around 2300hrs, sprang awake and tried to recall the dream I’d been having, but danged if I could. Most annoying.

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 16th May 2017

2Tue001a

Tuesday 16th May 2017

Indonesian: Selasa 16 Mei 2017

Kept waking all through the night, thinking of dreams and telling myself to remember and record them, even made some notes, but they were totally ineligible when I did wake properly at 0355hrs. Tsk! Not the foggiest memory!

0400hrs: Out of the fragile struggling to operate £300 second-hand recliner and off to the Porcelain Throne. The spattering did not come, (Hurrah!) but things were ‘Gooey’ and Haemorrhoid Harold’s blood added to the mess! Arthur Itis, Duodenal Donald and Roger Reflux were all in a  good mood, only Anne Gyna giving any real torment. Good start I thought!

2Tue03Into the kitchen and took this photographicalisation.

Titivated around a bit and tried to move things in the freezer drawers to make room for some fodder that I hope will be arriving later via the Morrison delivery.

Kettle on and started the Health Checks and weighing session.

2Tue04

Again, I thought things were looking good. (I began to fret a little at this stage; Things looking good and me, don’t go together? Hehe!)

Made a mug of good strong Thompson’s tea and took the medications.Back to the Porcelain Throne, but only wind escaped. Things are a changing in this department today for sure.

Back to the Porcelain Throne, but only wind escaped. Things are a changing in this department today for sure.

2Tue05Checked on the coat that got so wet yesterday, and I’d hung above the towel dryer. Still not fully dried, so I moved the jacket along to near the storage heater and turned it on, and moved the airer along underneath the coat.

On with the computer, fingers crossed in the vain hopes that Google Chrome would have cleared itself of problems. Come think of this, there were no problems with Google before I had some Windows Updates?

No problems as yet, knock on wood.

Made a start on this diary, then finished off yesterday’s one and got it posted.

Did some WordPress reading.

Got the ablutions tended to before the arrival of the fodder. Got all the things needed, into the wetroom, cleaned the teggies and started to shave, and the intercom phone rang – it was the Morrison Man. For some reason, I thought it was due twixt 0800 > 0900hrs, but it was due 0700 > 0800hrs. Did feel a fool again!

Got the fodder put away, only just enough room in the freezer.

Back and finished the ablutions. All nice and fresh smelling now. Hehe!

Sorted some bin bags and took them to the chute. Got the nibbles ready for the flat’s Obergruppenfurheress’s to drop off at the hut on the way out.

Must remember to call at the bank with the details they are wanting. (I didn’t, I forgot about it – Fancy that?)

Updated this bit of the diary.

Off out and called at the NCH Community Shed with the nibbles. Obergruppenfurher Julie was in on her own. The big room had the ‘Pick Your Colour Scheme’ crew of five in there to greet the residents. Tenant Roy arrived, and I chose the Green Brown Scheme6Sat01a as my choice for the outside of the newly updated buildings.

Only because I felt obligated to show interest. There was a very-little real concern there over which one was opted for.

Roy chose the same colour scheme.

Back to the foyer to await the bus into town. Roy arrived and asked me my flat number and name, as the Nottingham City Homes team had forgotten to inquire this of me. He kindly took the details back to them. A chinwag with the other tenants at the bus stop and on the bus en route was enjoyed.

Glad to hear the Bill thought the keyboard letter pads I got from Amazon for him, were wonderful and he had them all on his laptop and enjoying them.

Arrived in town as the drizzle started and meant to nip into the Pound Shop to look for some Furniture Cover a lady tenant told me about earlier and to get an umbrella – found myself in the Wilko Store, felt a fool and exited and made my way next door to the Pound Shop. Huh!

Had a good nosey around and ended up getting: A packet of Bic razors, Memory Foam Insoles and Alpen bars for raffle prizes, Flash eraser, Foil oven trays, two Guaranteed to blow inside out on the first use umbrellas, and a Men’s manicure set. Having purchased more expensive brollies last time and they did the same thing… well one did, the other disappeared like magic. I took the gamble on getting these cheap ones. No one on the tills so had to use the self-serve system. Farcical that was. I’m not sure I didn’t end up overcharging myself? The obnoxious assistant wasn’t really interested, poor bloke looked right pissed-off to me. And this in the morning with him having the rest of the day to get through, yet!

3Wed05

Out and over Upper Parliament Street and into the Victoria Shopping Centre (Mall).

Very sparse of human occupation it was this morning.

Another takeaway food unit had closed down I noticed. There’s going to be financial trouble over this situation of so many retail bankruptcies going on so much!

Hobbled without too much effort nor pain, to the other end and into Tesco and had a wander around. A box of two Fresh Cream Horns leapt into the shopping basket of their own accord. I got the last pack of pod peas, another Quorn Lasagne on offer at £2 down from £3 (I wish I’d got more now, cause they were wonderfully filling and tasty last time I got them). A packet of small potatoes, a TV magazine for next week and some Boczek belly pork.

I pondered over getting some Sourdough Farmhouse bread but remembered the freezer was chock-a-block at the moment. Wandered off, thought some more, then returned to the bakery section, after having made up my mind to get the Sourdough after all, cause I haven’t had any for ages. After I’d managed to reach up to the top shelf where they kept this bread and got a loaf, it only had one day’s life on it. I eventually managed to check each of the nine or so loaves and they were all the same. So, now in pain in the legs from stretching up a3Wed07nd stomach now aching too, I muttered to me what an idiot I am, and wandered to the checkout.

Paid the gal and out around the block and to the bus stop on Upper Parliament Street. The feet were beginning to sting a bit now.

The place had got very busy from when I arrived in town.

3Wed08The queue at the shelter was massive and cramped, the folks looked down and depressed, and I passed the wind without anyone noticing. So glad the ‘Trots’ have almost gone now!

Very glad!

I wanted to take a photo of the crowds with their depressed hang-dog expressions… but by the time I dug the camera out of the bottom of the full bag, one bus had been loaded and off, and a second one had gathered most of the other passengers.  In the distance, the green single decker electric powered L9 bus can be seen arriving. When it did, the other passengers got to the doors; first. I was shoulder charged, poked with what I think was an umbrella and had my poorly toe trod on!

The spirits lowered as I sat there, not even interested in doing the crosswords and feeling a bit sorry for myself, but not knowing why?

3Wed04A few miles on, and as the bus turned left onto Porchester Road, I had the camera ready in the hopes of getting a distance shot of the sky and scenery.

As I got ready to take the shot, a mobility scooter was driving on the road, and believe me there is one heck of a hill down there! At one point it is 1/6!

Anyway, the flipping car pulled out, and it hid the scooter from view! Tsk!

Back at the flat, and onto the Throne. A mixed session.

As I had a quick freshen up and cleansing session, I bent down to get the bleach to use on the porcelain and ‘Clunk!’ Accifauxpa, come  Whoopsiedangleplop time! Cracked the head a good one on the sink.

This put an end to my plans for doing owt on the computer, indeed doing much at all. Boy, was it a good cloutFelt a bit groggy-dizzy for hours afterwards.

Put the fodder away, leaving a brolly in the bag.

Sat down for a few hours or so, tried reading the ‘Emotions’ book but no concentration felt dodgy. Dosed off.

Later when I woke, only a bit of a headache was there, I felt fairly good really?

Took the medications, did the Health Checks and got the fodder prepared.

3Wed09Went to turn off the heater in the hallway and the INR Anticoagulation results had been delivered. Shot up to 4.6 this time.

I wondered if I’d perhaps taken two evening doses during one night during the last week, to have caused this and not noticed?

I added the Next Test Date to the Google Calendar. Google Chrome kept becoming Unresponsive so I gave up.

3Wed08aUsed the segregation plate for the meal.

BBQ smoked mackerel, Surimi, egg, potatoes, potato farls, onions, cheddar, apple, beetroot and fresh pod peas and caramelised chutney.

I dished up too much and didn’t eat a lot of it. Ate just one of the potatoes, left some of the farls and a half of the egg.

The rain poured down outside, so I closed the kitchen window.

Felt so tired now. Tried to watch a DVD, then tried the TV, then the book again… which is when I drifted off into a dream filled horror of a sleep.

Hey-ho! TTFN.

Inchcock Today Frid 27th May 16: Laundry Room Farce, Met Deans and got the Nottingham Hospice things delivered.

04

Friday 27th May 2016

I didn’t stir for over six hours last night! Woke around 0545hrs with bits of the dream going around me head, but they soon dissipated into the ether, I hate it when that happens. Huh!

Remained in the second-hand mechanically dodgy £300 recliner that I’d nodded off in, for a while pondering the needs of the day.

I’d got to go see Deana about the shower installation, the laundry needed doing urgently – thanks to earlier bleeding from certain quarters of my anatomy causing the removal of bloodies articles of clothing, then I must… My deliberations were interrupted by an involuntary emission of the wind from the rear quarters causing concern that attention and sanitational needs may be required.

Soon as I lowered the chair to get to the bathroom and started to move, the left knee, in particular, suffered an acute attack from Arthur Itis! Still can’t complain, though, because he’s has been kind to me over the last few days.

No hiatus discovered when I got to the throne and checked things out in the lower regions. A tiny few specks of blood from Little Inchy, but nothing at all to concern myself about. No bleeding from Haem Aroid either.

I decided not to get the laptop on yet, cause I always get carried away and end up not doing other things that are urgently in need of attention due to my love of the internet. Had a quick cup of tasty tea and took the medications.

I got the two bags of dirty clothes ready and took one down to the laundry room. Got the washing machine one of the two machines. Back up to the flat to collect the coins I’d forgotten to take with me.

Back down to the laundry room and got it started.

Back up to the flat, and had a hunt around for any other things needing cleaning and put them in the second bag.

Then back down again and got the washing into the other machine also on quick mode, and removed the finished others out and into the dryer.

Back up to the flat, and did some work on the diary for yesterday and got it posted.

P1090023Back down to the laundry room, to find that the machine had finished washing, but had left the clothes very wet. Moved then into the other dryer, then took out the clothes from the first dryer.

Back up to the flat with them and stored them in the airing cupboard.

Back down after an hour to move the washing into the dryer, but they were still wet, so had to do another cycle in it to make sure they’d be safe to wear.

Back up to the flat, more WordPressing was done. Checked the emails.

Back down to the washing room… On the way, I couldn’t help but think how lucky I was that the lift hadn’t broken down this morning. Hehehe!

By now it was 0745hrs. I collected the now dry second load of rags (Haha!) from the dryer, and once again back up to the apartment (Fed up with writing flat).

Put this load of clobber in the airing cupboard. Started today’s diary off. And had a quick wash.

Thought about my having to sort out for the maintenance people for Tuesday. Have to move everything out of the bathroom and the hallway, into the bedroom, somehow.

I set about preparing the vegetables for cooking in my much loved and appreciated mini Crock-Pot. Planning to have the with a beef slice, or some sausages methinks?

P1090025Flavoured the swede, carrots, parsnips, red onions and mushroom with a pinch of BBQ seasoning, Asda/Walmart vegetable flavouring and vegetable paste. (Seems alright, tangy taste to it)

Boiled some small potatoes to add to it later. Nibbled a couple when they were done.

P1090018The left knee gave way when I was getting the things ready to go see if Deana was in the hut. Busy gal Deana our Flats Coordinatoress. Photo, on the right taken yesterday at the Social Hour when she popped in.

So I took the stick with me as I went down to the Windwood Hut to see if she was in.

The door was locked so I started to return to the flats and she came out of the door at the other end of the hut. Told her about the bathroom being changed. She said when they take out the WC, they have to replace it with another straight away.

P1060071Which reminded me of the state they left the kitchen vent in when they left, and I started to fret a bit. Hehe!

This photo was taken immediately after the workman left after coming to repair the problem!

Not encouraging is it?

I’m dreading the mess they’ll leave after the three or four days in the flat doing the shower conversion… oh dear!

Back yet again to the flat.

Got some more work done on graphics and WordPress.

The vegetable broth in the Crock-Pot was smelling something wonderful.

The left knee still giving me gip every time I moved now, Huh!

I got the things ready for the Nottingham Hospice Charity Shop. Left the Crock-Pot on low and walked up through Woodthorpe Grange Park, down out through onto Mansfield Road, then up and down into Sherwood. Did some window shopping on my way to the Hospice shop.

Blimey, the time is getting a move on, well into the afternoon already – what happened? (Oh yes, the laundry room farce, hehe!)

05Did the ablutions and got ready and out and up the gravel footpath hill up into the park.

At the top, I almost had my breath taken away by the view of the beautiful array of greens with the flowers blooming in between.

Later, I doctored this by adding words and the red flowers, don’t know why I did mind, but it was so pleasant and fresh to look at.

The only sad bit was they had mowed the grass, killing thousands of buttercups, daisies and dandelions in the bargain.

P1090027I pressed on down the footpath through the park and stopped for a while to look at the dogs enjoying themselves, tails a-wagging.

The footpath was a tad darkened by the amazingly quick growth of the trees foliage.

To the Co-op store and had a wander around, getting tomatoes, veg crisps and a lemon cheesecake that fell into the basket. Ahem!

P1090028As I walked down the hill towards the Wilko store, I spotted that someone had parked on the pavement handily blocking the view of drivers approaching the pelican lights.

Tsk!

Got a nail brush from Wilko, then back up the hill to check if a bus was due at the top stop.

There was no need to check when I arrived, there because a few flat tenants were waiting for a bus. Sure enough, three minutes later an L8 bus arrived. It was driven by the lovely lady driver too, so no need to worry about getting thrown all over the place getting on or off.

A chinwag with fellow tenant Frank on the way in and up to the flat, where an urgent call of nature was answered hastily. Phew!

I put the pie in the oven and updated this entry.

The INR test results came, much better this time. 2.5, much closer to the target figure. I emailed the surgery requesting an appointment for next Wednesday as instructed.

P1090029A quick go on Facebook and the meal was ready.

A fine feast it was as well.

The veg mix was delicious, the tomatoes sweet, the potatoes excellent, the bacon crispy, the beef slice beefy and the lemon dessert so tasty! And I ate it without any bread with it!

Oh yes! Will-power yer see? I’ve always had this, a steely determination and unmoveable confidence. 01W04

Watched an old James Bond movie, ‘Live and let die’ – by gum they look dated nowadays, I’d forgotten how bad they were! Hehe!

Took ages to get to sleep again. Tsk!
