Inchcock Today – Saturday/Sunday 26th/27th August 2017: Not one the best of weekends. Humph! Hehe!

Saturday 26th August 2017

Azerbaijani: 26 Avqust 2017 Şənbə

0225hrs: I stirred into semi-life, more on than in, the £300 second-hand recliner. I was not sure how I’d got into this precarious position and had it was a challenge getting out of it. By the time I had extracted and freed this overweight mould of body-mass, Hippy Hilda, Hernia Henry and Arthur Itis had all started kicking off complaining. A bad start to the day, Tsk!

Of to the Porcelain Throne, not a good session and I decided to take another Diah-Limit capsule with the medications. Slowly the yonderly feelings left me, and semi-logical thoughts were let through to ruminate within the brain. Not always a good thing.

I did the Health Checks: Sys 160, Dia 76, Pulse 88, Temp 35.5, Weight 14.89. Then made a brew of tea and took the medications.

The computer on and updated yesterday’s post.

0330hrs: Sudden decision to get the washing done. Down to the laundry room.

Ah-ha! The Secret Tea Drinker of Old Woodthorpe Court must have been visiting the laundry room? Hehehe!

On the way back up, I espied some new notices on the board…

A little confusing about the Scarborough now Skegness outing?

Seeing the word Bingo on the letter to the left made me shudder.

Thank heavens I have cancelled the trip. If they are to play Bingo on these trips, I will certainly not be going on them.

Lucky escape when they changed the destination and I withdrew my name. Phew!

Got the machine going and back up to the flat and updated this diary.

0405hrs: Down to move the washing to the dryer.

Popped outside and took this semi-moody photograph from outside the entrance doors.

Not cold out at all this morning at all.

Came back in and retrieved the clobber from the washer and moved it into the dryer, and cleaned the machine.

As I went back to the lift, I saw a notice I’d missed earlier, either that; or someone had been down and put it up during the last hour. Hehe!

I agree that this is unacceptable behaviour.

But, was Obergefreiteress Jenny right with her comment: “PLEASE either leave them on the floor of the chute room….”

Surely the new signs put up in the Chute Room, tell us not to do this?

Some of the more elderly residents might be misled by Jenny’s notice and get themselves in trouble?

Might I suggest that the Nottingham City Homes use fingerprints, DNA or pay a Personal Informer? Hehe!

Apart from this, though, it is a hazardous practice. It might have damaged the caretakers mobile phone, then where would he be if he could not do his ‘Phubbing’ (Noun: The practice of ignoring one’s neighbours or companions to pay attention to one’s mobile phone) at any of us when we do try to speak to him?

Updated this diary to here, then down to collect the laundry. Each time I’ve used it up to now, the elevator on the left has had flashing lights inside, had to close the eyes.

Gathered and folded the dried togs and got them into the bag.

Cleaned the filters and drum, and back up to the apartment with them.

Got the clothes stored away where they belong. All finished by 0550hrs, and ready for a mug of tea.

Updated this post to here, then got caught up with Facebook, it took a few hours. Well, three hours to get caught up.

Made a start on the next TFZer series graphic preparation. Spent hours on this too, but without much to show for it.

Got the nosh cooking, peas in saucepan chips and pie in the oven.

Still no call to the Porcelain Throne for a while? Managed a lot of wee-wees, though. Tsk!

This simplistic fodder went down like a treat, despite when I was taking the stuff out of the oven, I got a phone call from Brother-in-Law Pete, and it was not very hot when I got round to eating it. Very nice to get a call, though.

Fatigued again for no reason, I almost collapsed in the recliner, watched some TV in between nod-offs. The dreams were rampant and not nice, but memories of them a scarce.

And that was the day done for me. Tsk!

Sunday 27th August 2017

Latin: Die XXVII Septembris MMXVII

0300hrs: Stirred and pondered on the dreams I’d been having, but only the nature of them returned to me, no details really. Guilt and frustration lingered from them I think.

As I moved to stand up, a right mess was strewn all around the £300 second-hand recliner. Nibble packets (empty), crumbs, medical pots and tubes, broken pencil, mobile phone on the carpet, nail cutters and rather worryingly an empty giant size roasted seaweed packet. I spent a while trying to remember eating anything last night, but could not recall doing so, apart from the meal?

To the Porcelain Throne, Oh dear… Trotsky Terence might be returning, a messy, uncomfortable session. Mind you, no Dizzy Dennis, Shaking Shaun, Hippy Hilda, Reflux Roger or Hernia Harry hassle up to now. Duodenal Donald and Anne Gyna seemed to be working in unison to torment me, with the odd excruciating attack (Humph!). Especially, Duodenal Donald, he made me want to deracinate the innards to relieve the stabbing pains, and Anne Gyna seemed to be very busy causing similar annoyance all over the chest and back area. Not had a start to the day as bad as this for a long time.

Sat there on the free-moving loose Porcelain Throne seat, I ruminated on things. But the mind was not in the mood for my making use of it, so I gave up pondering, wash-up and into the kitchen to make a brew and do the Health Checks and medication imbibing.

Oh, heck! The state of the kitchen. Dirty washing in the sink, crumbs and marks on the floor, and, crucially, the fridge door was open! So, I had been night-nibbling in my sleep for sure, then?

It was 0355hrs by the time I got around to carrying-out the Health Checks.

Sys138, Dia 98, Pulse 80 Temp 35.59 and the weight 14.85. I put the high Dia and temperature down to my not feeling too well overall? At least the weight had fallen a bit. Took the medications.

I could not face cleaning the place up. I was concerned as to how I made the mess and could not remember doing it? The Rumbling Innards were getting a bit more fierce, now. Back to the Porcelain Throne soon I reckon.

I got the urge to take a panoramic photograph from out on the balcony. I could not hold the camera firmly enough to make one, so I took two regular ones and tried to get them together and trimmed, this is the result. Not perfect, but it gives you an idea of the incredible view I am lucky enough to have.

Not too cold out at all. I returned inside and visited the Porcelain Throne. Things no better, messy again. Took an extra Diah-Limit capsule and Codeine 60g.

Got on with updating this diary. (Anything to avoid getting the place cleaned-up! Tsk!)

0540hrs: Checked the Emails. Then WordPress reading. Readied and titivated some graphics for later use.

I’ve a little bit of advice in the form of a tip here for you folks. Then you are getting down to get the washing-up liquid from underneath the kitchen sink and get a visit from Dizzy Dennis, try not to fall with all your weight against the cupboard door. Especially when your thumb is still in the closet! The door squashing your digit may impose a sweet blood-blister under your nail. Hehe!

0708hrs: Updated this diary.

Perused Facebook.

0900hrs: Made a brew of Thompson’s Strong Tea (Personally Recommended for those who like a tasty mug of tea!), And set about prepping some stuff for the graphics for the next TFZer series. Got one done and posted, but not one in this series.

I pray they will like it. Sixteen TFZers with six of their pets, in this one. I wonder if anyone can name them all? Just a bit of fun. Marie Young was the first TFZ to say she’d found them all, bless her cotton socks. I must find time to do a Certificationalision of Merit graphic.

Got the nosh sorted. Tomatoes and balsamic vinegar dressing, boiled potatoes with grated cheese, beetroot, cheesy potato pockets, apple, mini pork pie, mushrooms and a slice of flat bread. Followed by a lemon curd yoghourt.

This went down very well. Rated at 9.35/10!

Washed-up and did the Health Checks, then took the medications.

BJ rang, “Do you still want to go to the Papplewick Pumping Station tomorrow?” – “Yes please, thanks.” – “Tsk! I’ll call you when I’m on my way after picking up David, should be around 1200hrs” Nice!

Settled-down to watch some TV. Intending to look at a daft monster film and a documentary about the Marie Celeste. I spent more time nodding that watching! Hehe! Then when I decided to give up the viewing, I could not get off to sleep with the mind fighting against any rest with its constant thinking of regrets, mistakes and frustrations I’d been through over the years.

Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Monday 21st August 2017: Bit of Nottingham History thrown in today, folks.

Monday 21st August 2017

German: Montag 21. August 2017

Woke around 0300hrs, the mind once again, seemed hyperactive, disorganised and out of control, all over the place and no chance of getting back to sleep. The wind escaping just has not stopped

The wind escaping just has not stopped, but this is good I think. It might indicate that Trotsky Terence is on the wain, and each blast, for ‘blast’ is the only word to describe the way they escaped, came without a need for the Porcelain Throne (For a while at least). No control over them at all.

I felt that some self-comminatory thoughts about me and my actions were deserved, and felt guilty and ready to accept the coming storm or punishment in a gobemouche state.

0420hrs: Struggled out of the £300 second-hand recliner and to the Porcelain Throne. With the wind, gurgling and rumbling from the innards, I anticipated the worst, but things were not so bad at all compared to yesterdays sessions. Phew! Haemorrhoid Harold was still very tender and sore, though.

Made a mug of tea and took the morning medications. Health Checks carried out: Sys159-Dia71-Pulse89-Temp35.4 and the weight, I have to report – was the highest it has been ever! 14.91. Depression dawned!

Presumably, this was due to my not getting in a hobble yesterday? Must get a little one in today.

Made the weeks Health Checklist to take with me when I have my INR blood test done, hopefully by Nurse Nichole tomorrow.

Got Sunday’s diary finished off and posted.

Checked the Emails, WordPress readings, then started this journal off.  Did the top graphic, then went on Facebook to catch-up.

Ablutions enjoyed, no Porcelain Throne demands, and the wind decreased. There was no bleeding from the teggies or shaving. Haemorrhoid Harold bled a tiny bit. Looking good.

Readied things and out to the bus stop. A big right crowd there when I arrived. Bill from the 14th floor had a chinwag with me. His big operation is due on September 4th, at last. He’ll be on his crutches for a while afterwards. I offered him any help I could with shopping or whatever. I’ll remind him again next time I see him and give him my Email and telephone number.

We got on the bus, and Bill dropped off on Mapperley top,  to do his rounds of the charity shops for any Owl figurines he could find.

I alighted the bus on Lower Parliament Street and hobbled through to Goose Gate to visit the Chinese Shop to get some more chestnuts.

En route I came across this bit of Nottingham Street art. I think it was commissioned by some company before they went bankrupt?

But the Chinese place was not open yet, for over another hour. Humph! So, I wended my way up and took the scenic walk up to St Mary’s Church. Built in 1377 and right over the road from the Nottingham Goal, where they did the hanging and deportationing of the poor. Always the impecunious masses never hung a Lord, Earl or a Sir!

I hobbled down High Pavement (The top photograph above), and there was smoke coming from the roof of the Contemporary Art Gallery.

The pretend Police Officer and all other locals in the area were ignoring this, to me, a bit of a dangerous scenario.  No one was interested in the white smoke. So I assumed it was nothing out of the ordinary and hobbled by and turned right at the end, where the trams were operational.

No wonder they had a diversion sign near the church.

I saw the sign that one of the five traffic lanes had been closed. This, was due to the closure of Broad Marsh Bus Station and Car Park, losing Nottingham Shoplifters, sorry, shoppers 200 Car Parking Spaces bring closed, and the buses have had to be allotted new stopping places all over the City Centre. Thus the other buses can’t get through now.

Cars were left dangling out of the side of a multi-storey car park in Nottingham after one of the exterior walls collapsed. The collapse happened overnight when part of a wall came away from the building at the NCP Nottingham City car park in Cumberland Place, losing 400 plus spaces to add to the 1,150 lost at Broad Marsh – Boy I almost feel glad they took away my licence!

I limped along towards the City Centre, took this Nottingham Street Art photograph and noticed how I had got twinkles on it? Later, I found them on several other of this morning’s efforts?

Can anyone out there figure out what I got wrong, please?

I took this photograph further up on Wheeler Gate.

A narrow one-way street that has been used for donkey’s years as a two-way through route for traffic. These pictures were taken in 1920, & 1969 photographed from the other end.

Walked up into the Slab Square to take a picture of the Nottingham Beach, and caught these trams in the City Centre Station together.

The weather kept changing and threatening rain, but none yet.

This should please the few who have visited the Beach today. Not many of them, mind. Can’t blame them really, the costs are high for the rides. Not that this dampened the spirits of the little Nottinghamians in the slightest.

Hehehe!

Noticed a lot of Nottingham Pavement Cyclists around today, but did not managed to get any to put in the Nottingham Pavement Cyclist Album… until now that is.

Took this of a right unthinking animal of an ignorant young git, as he weaved around and between the pedestrians, without any thought to their safety! With any luck he’ll get knocked off of it by someone one day, I’d love to be there when it happens. A trained First aider or not, if anyone else were injured they would get my first attention! The poor lady with the bag wobbled as he shot by so close to her.

But back to the compound and was the last one to the flats again. Poor old thing!

Had a chinwag with a lady from the 14th floor, got in and almost automatically went into the throne room, when I didn’t need to. Mind you, the wind from the rear was less often now.

Took the med’s and did the Health Checks. Wrote a note to remind me about the INR appointment in the morning.

Got some fish and tattie scones with cheese in the oven cooking.

Updated this diary.

Got the meal, soy sauce potatoes, tomatoes, cheese & onion scones, battered haddock fillet and a fish cake. Followed by the Lemon Mousse.

Didn’t affect the Trotskies as I thought it might, and went down very well. 8/10.

Got the Boon DVD on, and watched two whole episodes before the nodding-off started.

Had to get up for a wee-wee, and that seemed the end of sleeping for me. Tsk!

I don’t think I managed any period of over five minutes asleep without jumping awake and not having the slightest reason why?

Humph!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 1st August 2017: A hobble through the Nottingham each today!

Tuesday 1st August 2017

Corsican: Marti 1u Aostu 2017

Woke around 0415hrs. The mind confused, a mess all around me and the £300 second-hand recliner, the TV still on with crumbs on my stomach, the chair cover and the carpet, and my glasses pushed back on top my head.

Remembered the Morrison delivery, the Hearing Aid update visit and to get a razor scraper and finger nail remover while in town later. Hopefully, Shaking Shaun and Dizzy Dennis will give me a break today. Please!

Dismounted the recliner and off for a Porcelain Throne session. Not good this one, but at least Haemorrhoid Harold was only leaking blood the tiniest bit. Little Inchy needed attention as is usual lately.visit

Took the medications and did the Health Checks.

All the readings seemed lowish today?

Apart from the weight, which I am not prepared to share with you at this moment, due to my shame! Hehe!

Into the kitchen, noticing there were no new tar marks on the window glass.

Got the kettle on and attempted to take another of the Vista shots that I seem to have difficulty in making. But today was different, and I got it right on the third attempt.

Cleaned up the mess near the chair. Appears I had been nibbling some crisps I think… a lot of them, judging by the number of crumbs I had to hoover up. Tsk!

For a fleeting moment, memories of some of the dreams came into my head. By the time I’d got the pencil out of the drawer, they had gone from my puzzled brain. I do annoy myself when this happens!

Computer started, and I made the graphic for the top of this page.

Had a wee-wee. Painful Little Inchy was re-medicated. This prompted me to check the Emails, to see if any had arrived from the clinic yet. But none.

Responded to some of the emails and did Some WordPress reading.

Finished yesterday’s diary and posted it off.

Food delivery arrived.

Got it stowed away, freezer and fridge full again.

Had a wee-wee

Got the crossword book and the nibbles,  in the bag for the site Obergruppenfurheresses.

Medicalisationing and ablutioning tended to.

Gathered everything (Well, I thought I had) needed for the day and got myself down to the foyer. Had a chinwag with a lady in the lift and she mentioned she had to make a list of things to do when going out and asked if I had lost my hearing aids as she could see I was not wearing them. Whoopsiedangleplop! I went back up in the lift after she dropped off, to fetch the list and hearing aids.

Time was getting close to 0930hrs now, and I was a bit nervous in case I missed the bus and was late for the appointment, and I still had a decent walk to get to the bus stop. Grabbed the hearing aids and put them in going down in the elevator.

Hobbling along Chestnut Walk and realised that I had not picked up the note of things to do! Humph! There were five things on it, I remember that much.

All I could recall at the time was the razor scraper, nail polish remover and the hearing aid place visit.

The bus was late arriving, so had a chinwag and a laugh with some tenants in the queue. The city bound bus came and off to town we were transported.

Dropped off on Queen Street and limped down through the Old Market Slab Square, which was designated as The Nottingham Beach with its rides, amusements and highly priced eateries, etc.

A little early for it to be busy yet.

But some families had laid claim to the favourite corner positions on the beach. I wondered if any of them were German holidaymakers? Hehe!

I took a photograph that should have been of one boy on the car rides that was very happy and waving each time he passed to his family. But when I got back and downloaded it, this is what I got. Missed the boy off altogether? Twit!

Jogged into the Pound World shop… (Jogged? Where did I get from, Haha!) to search for some nail varnish remover and a razor scraper. Got the varnish remover alright, but had to ask one of the staff if they had any scrapers. They sell them but had none in stock at the moment.

Out and nearly fell over a rough sleeper in the doorway, who I had not noticed on my in?

Up the road and into the Hearing Aid place. Logged in with Snottypants on the reception and got the crossword book out.

The young chap who dealt with me last time collected me and took me into his room.

He recorded details on the computer and then showed my how to clean the contact point on the aids. Using a brush and prodder-througherer to clean the air hole and little contact slot cover. Also how to replace the lid of each one when replacing it. The cleaning has to be done each day.

I thanked him and departed. Noticing the rough sleeper had gone, and the shop opposite that was signed as being up for lease or sale last week, were now To Let.

Desperate times for retailers in Nottingham these are!

Checked the time and the bus back to the flats was due in ten minutes. So made my way to it via the Nottingham Beach.

This Herbet of a young Nottingham Pavement Cyclist almost hit me as he rode along with music earpieces in his tab holes.

Bless him!

Across the road and through the square.

This ride that rises above the Council House height at the top was belting around at an uncomfortable looking rate of knots, for me.

Then again, the youngsters on it all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The last amusement ride I looked at was also moving fast and up and down.

I find it hard to realise that Suzie and I used to like these types at the fairs and seaside all those years ago.

Across near the beach and made my way to the paper shop on the corner of Queen Street.

The beach, was now getting far busier with happy, noisy kids and frustrated looking given-up-on-controlling the ankle-snappers parents? Hehehe!

Went into the paper shop and bought a TV magazine for next week. Then up the hill to the bus-stop.

Where I pondered on what the missing task was that I could not remember needed doing. Failed to recall it, though.

Caught the bus and at the next stop, a few of the tenants got on, including Obergefreiteress Jenny. We had a friendly gossip en route.

At the flats, I found this parked outside the apartments.

The lady from the 15th floor came out to catch a taxi and informed me that the lifts were not working.

Oh dearie me! By luck, when I went in the firemen had just restarted them. Phew!

Up to the apartment and had a wee-wee.

Put the hearing aid tools away and got the black bean beef and egg, rice and fresh garden peas into their respective foil dishes. Lidded them ready to go into the oven later.

Picked some programmes to fall asleep to later, as well.

Updated this diary. Did the midday and evening checks.

Got the trays into the oven, must remember to check them after half-an-hour, so I set the timer.

A quick check on the Emails. Nowt from the clinic.

Had a bash on Facebooking.

Got the meal served up.

Beef in black bean sauce, egg rice with peas and a few little potatoes.

Really did enjoy this one.

Went to do the washing up and the rain had returned.

No getting to sleep for ages and ages.

Far too late, not even many nod-offs?

The mind racing away over everything and nothing at the same time.

Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 19th July 2017: Indoors again, Tsk!

Wednesday 19th July 2017

Sesotho: Laboraro la 19 July 2017

0400hrs: Much waking up overnight, kept going back to a similar dream from when I had the shop, all doom and gloom with re-lived spectacular failures.

Up for a wee-wee. Made the tea. Health Checks the next priority. (Thought I’d start with some poetry, Hehe!)

Sys 160, Dia 78, Pulse 91, Temp’ 31.8f and Weight 14.82; Not bad at all?

Checked on the web. Looks like rain, to say the least.

3Wed02

0600hrs: It’s all dry outside at the moment, Although looking somewhat threatening all the same. The wind is getting up too.

Started to write this diary up to here, then to finished off yesterdays.

Boy, then did the ailments all kick-off together? After such a good day yesterday, they were back with a vengeance.

Within about 20 minutes, more arrived. Not many of them missed me. It started with the Rumbling Grumbling Innards, suddenly from nowhere attacking. The other infirmities had obviously got jealous. Hehe! Duodenal Donald (The worst of them all this morning), Reflux Roger and Anne Gyna joined them then.

I knew something like this would happen. After such an easy pain-wise day, the EQ told me I would suffer later. Humph!

Checked and responded to the Emails and did some WordPress reading.

CorelDraw opened, and a new TFZer graphic started off.

3Wed040841hrs: Had a wee-wee and nipped out on the balcony to take a photograph.

The new camera has a lens that’s too large to stick through the bird netting square.

It was beginning to look a bit more likely for some rain to come now.

Back to the graphicalisationing. The most 3Wed05difficult part of doing the work can be the preparation. Searching for png file that you like and want to use, downloading it, doctoring and saving it converted into CPT format, then deleting the original png file. Takes ages to do just one, and I am looking for 20 or more. Still, nice when they are done properly and can be used later.

Hours later the towels arrived from Amazon, and I got a double sided letter through the door.

I assume this to be the one in the communal passageway to the three flats. (Bottom)

I hope it is anyway, but the other two tenants still have theirs outside the doors?I could lose my £100 Good Tenants Reward. If

I could lose my £100 Good Tenants Reward.

If I do not remove it in 24hrs, she says she’ll be returning to check, they will remove it and maybe charge me for doing so.

I cannot see anything about doormats on the list of rules on the back of the page. Must be included in another word in there.

Bit worried now.

All to do with Fire Precautions.

All of the flats I’ve seen have one outside their door, and this one was left by Margaret, the previous tenant.

Feeling down, depressed and a little rattled by this. Surely, the woman could have just put a note on the board and told us more clearly face to face, and use threats if we then failed after having it explained to us? Anyway, I’ve moved it indoors now. So in the event of fire; If I do trip over it, this will be inside the door instead of outside the door. Humph!

I have no problem with the actions demanded, just the way they were intoned.

2017-07-19 11.32.29Got the dinner on and opened the packet with the towels in that had arrived.

Of course, one of the packets had split open, and I had the pills of towels all over the place. Tsk!

The 100 pills paid for in the split bag, added up to 94. Unless there are more, I cannot find from when they scattered on opening?

Getting niggly am I now!

3Wed06

Did more prep work for the next TFZer graphic series.

The fodder was ready to be served up, it took so long with the fingers playing-up, that it was cold by the time I’d got it served up. So I popped it back into the oven, luckily I’d had to use the pot dish to contain the extra gravy, and got it warmed through a bit before consuming it.

Beef pie, beef and gravy (canned), garden peas boiled potatoes, made and added some caramelised onion gravy and sliced some beetroot to have with it. Excellent results despite the rewarming being needed.

01M001a

Did the Health Checks. And guess what?

A Whoopsedangleplop! with the pain-gel. It’s hard to believe, I know, me having an Accifauxpa isn’t it? The tube tip split as I was applying it to the knees, and shot a jet of it straight into one of my slippers. Missed everything else, just in the footwear.

It’s a comfort to know that despite the slipper having to be thrown away, it didn’t die in pain. Hahaha!

I forgot to record the readings of the checks, so did them again after consuming the fodder. Looked alright, but maybe the temperature was a little low at 28.8f – Then again, surely being too high is the thing to fret about?

Trying to watch the TV when I settled down, was even more ridiculous than usual. Why I bothered trying to watch anything confused even me. A minute awake, ten asleep, two awake, five asleep, fifteen asleep, five awake… on and on it went like this, with me stubbornly determined to try and stay awake to watch things I had no interest in seeing?

Humph! TTFN.

By the way, no rain came at all today.

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 12th July 2017: Whoopsiedangleplop with the Blood Test appointment

Wednesday 12th July 2017

Bosnian: Sreda, 12. Jula 2017

0500hrs: Woke, and sensed and began to assess the old and new aches and pains, feeling so tired and weary, heavy eyelids… an escapage of rear end wind, and out of the £300 second-hand recliner and hobbled to the Porcelain Throne.

Arthur Itis was showing displeasure with the walk there. Trotsky Terence ensured there was no struggling in the evacuation session. Haemorrhoid Harold bled freely, the aroma that filled my lungs and the flat were rank and offensive even to me! I feared it would not be contained in my flat, opened all the windows later and sprayed air-spray all around, I nearly choked myself with that, never mind natures gifted aromas. Hehehe!

A new pain, in the right side of the rib cage, caused me to quantitate the situation for a few minutes. This newbie wasn’t akin to the pains from Anne Gyna. Although they do vary all the time, on their location, type and severity?

Even Reflux Roger kicked off as I limped into the kitchen, what a start to the morning this was!

The rumbling and grumbling from the innards started too, as soon as I had finished the evacuation process.

Made a brew of tea and did the Health Checks. Took the medications.

Before I could drink the tea, I needed the Porcelain Throne again. As I performed the evacuation procedure (At least the odour was less vicious this time, but then again the residue from the first one, still permuted the atmosphere, Hehe), the new stabbing pain on the right started again. Cleaned up the porcelain, myself and wiped the contact points with Dettol lemon sheets. The tummy felt queasy again, and Steven Shakes paid me a visit then. Plonked myself down on the WC seat and it moved so much I thought I was going to slip off of it. But this was a good thing actually – cause it took my mind off of the other pains.

Back to the kitchen and made another mug of tea for the one that had gone cold.

Took an extra Anti-Diahorrea capsule and a 60g Codeine Phosphate for the rib area pain.

The temperature on the wall thermometer showed 59°f.

Opened all of the windows to help remove the Diahorrea Donald donated smells. Haha!

I decided that staying indoors would be a good idea today. Mostly the Porcelain Throne room door? Hehehe!

Took this photographicalisation of the scene below, through the kitchen window.

Then leant out seize this photograph of the brightening morning – Clouted my head on the frame of the window.

This seemed to work a miracle. Diahorrea Donald’s rumbling calmed right down, and Reflux Roger eased off very quickly? Things appeared to be improving a little. I’ve no idea why, just appreciative that they are doing so. Very queer?

Off to the Porcelain Throne.

I started the completion of yesterday’s post, had a wee-wee, had a Dennis Dizzy and then, back to the Porcelain Throne again. No excessive aroma this time, and far less splattering and pebble dashing activity. Good!

Did some WordPress reading and checked the Emails.

Had a wee-wee, then got on with starting this post.

Realised I was to go to the HMV store to see if the Biederbeck Three Series I’d ordered had arrived.

I can’t remember how I lost the original copy I had. Might have disappeared in the moving into the flat?

No doubt about being one of my favourites. Can’t, well, dare not go out today with the threat of Diahorrea Donald lingering over me. Tsk!

Went on Facebooking. After a while, I got a reminder box come up – of the appointment for the INR blood test at the Doctors!

Panic, there was no way I could get there in time, I thought. Everything hurriedly turned off, no wash no shave, got the bag of tricks that was luckily readied beforehand and made my way down to the New Temporary Shed, in search of someone who could ring the surgery to let them know for me, and ring a taxi.

Got down and out to the hut, but no one was about. I decided to leg it down to Mansfield Road as quickly as I could and catch a bus into Carrington. Still found time to take this photo though, as I turned right down Winchester Hill.

Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis both giving me grief as I rushed as much as I could. Got to the bus stop and one arrived as I did so. Lucky!

Dropped off in Carrington almost outside of the Sherrington Park Medical Practice and got in quick. Chest legs, knees and all of a flutter, and flapping a little. I reported with the Obersturmbannführeress Receptionist, humbly apologising for being late, and she pointed out I was in fact, only one minute late?

Seconds later, Nurse Nichol fetched me into her treatment room and had the blood taken. Gave her the nibbles, thanked her and departed; Still wondering how I got there almost in time? Very confused!

To the bus stop and caught one back up into Sherwood.

Called at the Co-op store and got some button mushrooms, fresh pod peas and bananas.

Avoided the Big Issue Seller woman who has two mobile phones and is often seen using both of them, outside the shop.

Then next door to the cake shop and obtained a fresh cream iced scone thingy.

Then called in the Children’s Charity Shop, nothing of interest.

Further up the hill and into the Nottingham Hospice Shop. Bought two red saucepans that didn’t look in bad condition.

As I waited to cross the road, this car pulled around the corner and parked up on the pavement, and the driver just sat there. The thing of interest was what I think are tyre skid marks across the road behind the vehicle.

I also noticed the crack in the bookmaker’s window, where the scores led to? My Sherlock Holmes head was working. Then I realised the crack was the reflection in the glass window of the outline of the grey car. Hehe! I shouldn’t be allowed out on my own!

At the bus stop, several other tenants joined me, and a good chinwag followed.

Roy, took one of the bags for me to carry back on top of his four-wheeled-trolley. Bless him.

The fencing around the place was now having steel boards attached to them, still in the purple colour scheme. I’ll try to get a photo of them soon. Annie, one of the tenants with us, pointed out that when they are up, we will not see any traffic coming and will have to walk on the road to get passed them. I thought not, but decided against not agreeing with Gordie gal Annie, that was not a good idea, disagreeing with her. Hehe!

A laugh in the lift going up, and into the flat and onto the Porcelain Throne. Not so bad this time, methinks the new capsule earlier, was working well.

Put the food away and got the new second-hand saucepans washed and on the cooker.

Podded some peas and chopped a few mushrooms up and got them into the Crock-Pot on low.

Had a wee-wee.

Does anything stick out to you bout this road I pictured earlier? Something singular?

Started to update this diary again.

Went on Facebook to finish what I started earlier before the confusion about the INR blood test.

Started some more graphicalisations off for the TFZer site.

Very tired now, and the new pain on the right side of the chest is getting worse.

Got the meal sorted.

Had a fish one. Smoked mackerel (Not very good), tomatoes (Fine), Fresh garden peas (Very good), Surimi fish (Very good), Sliced roasted potatoes (Overcooked, but I liked them), Mushrooms (Good) and beetroots (Excellent). 8.9 overall rating.

Settled to watch some TV, but again, it was interspersed with nod-offs. Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Sunday 9th July 2017

Sunday 9th July 2017

Welsh: Dydd Sul 9 Gorffennaf, 2017

0500hrs: The Strange Awakening.

I woke, very late for me, and found I had my feet up on top of the £300 second-hand recliner and found the DVD remote control, the camera and the box with last night’s medications, not taken and a pencil, all of these were laying on my ample multi-fold ridden belly? The curtains were open, yet I recall closing them last night.

And, why the heck would I have all these things laying and in my folds of my belly? The remote perhaps, if I fell asleep using it?

As soon as I moved, both Arthur Itis and Anne Gyna attacked! Arthur, obviously because of the ridiculous position I’d left the legs and knees in. Why Anne Gyna had a go at me, I don’t know.

I painfully straightened the knees and legs, and gurgling issued from the innards and an urgent mission presented itself – I must get to the Porcelain Throne ASAP. – I’m afraid I didn’t make it on time. Oh dear!

The session although lasting only a few moments contained, Splashing, gushing, spurting, squirting and pebble-dashing of the porcelain and me. Humph! It took me ages to get the room, and myself cleaned up. Still feeling a bit queasy, now.

Took the morning medications and made up the pots for next weeks doses. Needless to say, I was happy I still had some of the Morrison Acute Diarrhoea Derek tablets and took one with the other medications.

Carried out the Health Checks, during which I had a wee-wee… twice?

Sys 163, Dia 86, Pulse 89, Temp 34.9 and weight 14St-8.8lb.

Made a mug of tasty tea.

On the horizon, out of the kitchen window, I thought I saw smoke.

I’m still not sure what it was even after looking at this photograph?

Noticed they had cut the grass in the bottom field so I might be able to get out and have a 7Sun04wander through the Copse later, take some nature pictures perhaps… hello, the rumbling innards have started again. Back to the Porcelain Throne.

The session went alright, not so messy this time at all. But Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis were still having a go at me. Tsk! I suddenly felt so old for some reason? Then I thought about the things I have to do this coming Monday. Only the prescriptions to collect and see one of the Obergruppenfureresses about the bill from the 3 phone company demanding a months rent again. And this, after Obergefreiteress Julie had told them last month that I wanted to cancel the contract.

Huh!

Also, I have to fill in a City Care Satisfaction Survey about the nurses who did the Enoxaparin injections for me, five pages of this.

Also, the Police Pegasus Contact Management Update needs doing, only three pages though.

Got the computer on and started this diary off to here. Then finished off yesterday’s log and got it posted.

7Sun4bHad a wee-wee. Went into the kitchen to get some more antiseptic wipes and spotted two things out of the window below.

Only one double-line-parker this morning, and I think there is an animal I spotted in the bushes?

Opened the Emails and replied responded and did some WordPress reading.

Did some Facebooking, then created a graphic or two for the TFZers site.

This one, for a celebration of Sandie Lentz’s Birthday. I hope she has the best one ever! Lovely woman:

pic

This one of a group of TFZer lads making a fuss of Eve. I was quite pleased with one, it took a few hours, but I like it and hope the others do too.

Film LindaN

7Sun4cStarted another graphic off, and the Amazon man arrived with the parcel, containing the hearing-boosters and lid remover.

What followed was such a farce, failure and frustrating hour and a half, that I am going to make a single post about the mayhem, blood, injury and property damage caused while I was sorting out and getting the items assessed!

I’ll do it now while I’m still angry at myself!

Done it.

Far too late up for me, now. Feeling all drained again.

Got the meal cooked and did some Facebooking while it did do.

Just smoked bacon with BBQ sauce, a bit of sourdough bread and (At last I got to try out the Chinese mushrooms) fungi.

When I had to stab holes in the lid of the jar when I failed to get it off with the new wonder lid-removal tool from Amazon, I was lucky enough to have an empty beetroot jar to transfer the fodder into. Not big enough, so I had to throw some away, though.

They really were delicately tasty, mind.

Shame about breaking the mirror, I keep looking, expecting it to be there. Hehe!

I’ll have to get another one soon, or I might be deprived of looking at my distinctively handsome and attractive young face.

Took the medications and did the Health Checks.

I think the weighing scales might be broken?

Settled down after the meal, to watch some exciting programmes on the TV. Huh! Nod-off, wake, wee-wee, nod off, wake, wee-wee, television viewing, nod off, wake…

To make more frustrating, I was having dreams on each nod-off but could remember nothing about them. Grr!

TTFN all.

Inchcock – Tuesday 23rd May 2017: Chrome problems persisting – Got out for a hobble to get the Prescriptions from Carrington Pharmacy

2Tue001a

Tuesday 23rd May 2017

Macedonian: Вторникот 23 мај 2017 година

Woke around 0545hrs, entangled half in and half out of the £300 second-hand recliner.

Tissues, pen, notepad, torch, medicine bottle, pain gel tube, headphones, remote controls, mobile phone and biscuit crumbs were artistically scattered over the chair, carpet, the other chair and over me! As I tried to clear my jargogled brain in an effort to recall how and why I had no legerity to tackle this problem… memories of a dream I’d had filtered into my mind memory. A rarity this. So I scribbled down some notes, although this time, actual memories remained as well!

I was acting in the film (Or thought I was really there) Rio Bravo, Dean Martin – the Dude, Sheriff Chance – John Wayne, Rick Nelson – The Colorado Kid, Ward Bond -Pat Wheeler the prisoner and me as Stumpy! This dream bore no relationship to the actual film other than this, and the background scenery of the gulch and barns. We were shooting Star Trek type Phasers at each other? This seemed all perfectly natural to me. After running around trying to get a better position with a handful of dynamite from somewhere, I realised they were all firing at me! No idea how, but I avoided all the phasing blasts and a Messerschmidt bf 109 dived out of the sky and strafed me.

Next thing I’m in a coffin being lowered into a grave in the ravine, and peeping out through the holes between the bare wooden planks on top of it… Still calm and collected, Dean Martin slurred “Who the hell was he?” John Wayne turned spat on the floor and replied: “Damned if I know!”

Then I was in a long queue of folks waiting to go in the old Imperial C2Tue04inema on Wilford Road in Nottingham, around 1950 and looking down at myself as an ankle-snapper in the line of bodies and remember thinking as  stared at my younger self: “I don’t know who it is either!” Hehehe! There were many more things that took place, but I cannot recall them.

This is the only photograph I could find on the web of the Imperials as was. It was I assume taken around 1960, long after the place had closed down and was being used as a Plumbers Merchant base?

Throughout all of this dream, I was so relaxed and content?

Off to the Porcelain Throne. Haemorrhoid Harold bleeding profusely, did my duty, cleaned things up and put a pair of protection pants on, it was that bad.

The stomach was grinding away still.

Did the Health Checks and took the morning medications and put the kettle on. The reading were all okay I think. Sys 147, Dia 77, Pulse 86, Temp 34.8, Weight 14.71 Down a bit after going up yesterday. And I had two meals as well?

Got the Google Chrome opened, email became Unresponsive within seconds. Updated yesterday’s diary and started this one off. Tried to open the instructions from Tech Man Sam and it froze for the fifth time since opening it! Humph!

Duodenal Donald was giving me some pain again. I must get out today to the chemist’s to see if the prescriptions are ready yet.

I decided to get the ablutions done now and get out to do this while I thought of it.

Had a good shower, shave (lost a bit more blood with this activity, Huh!) and other things and got the nibbles for the chemist staff into the bag. I’ll call in at the doctors first to find out if the prescriptions will be ready or not.

2Tue05Set off down Chestnut Walk towards the turn off for Winchester Street Hill.

Plenty of vehicles around, but on people at the time was passing.

The Chestnut Tree’s flowers drew me towards them with their beauty.

I got underneath the tree and took a 2Tue06photographicalisation of them from below.

Best I could get was the one on the left. Absolutely stunning flowers I thought.

With a bit of a lift in my limp now, I pressed on and down the hill into Sherwood.

Left up the Mansfield Road hill and by the Funeral Parlour (Where my funeral is all paid for) and the flower shop. They had some giant single sunflowers on sale and took what I thought was a decent picture of them. When it came to downloading it to the computer – it was not there? I’ve this before and still can’t work out what I’ve done wrong? Humph!

Over the hill and down into Carrington and into the Sheringham Park Surgery. Explained about my getting short of the Omeprazole capsules and asked if the next load of prescriptions was ready yet. She consulted her computer and said no, but if I come back in tomorrow they could be collected and taken to the chemist. I said thank you with what must have been a terribly dejected and sorry expression, cause she called me back and told me to take a seat and she’d see if the Doctor would validate the process. A few minutes later, she came out and gave me the prescription to take to the chemist. Kind of her saving me another hobble tomorrow.

Off to the pharmacy and was told there would be a long wait, or I could come back tomorrow to collect them. I told him I was going to do some shopping at Lidl and would return afterwards (Assuming I remembered to. Hehe!)

As I left to limped to the shop, I noticed BJ was in the launderette next door. He didn’t look too happy when I sneaked in and behind and threw him a cheery “Good Morning!” I hope he is not poorly. Aske me if I still wanted to got the War Memorial on Sunday, thanked him and said yes. Got the feeling, that was not the answer he was looking for?

2Tue09To the shop and spent over £12 on food? Mature Stilton, Jersey potatoes, tomatoes, tins of stuffed peppers, Lemon yoghourts, bread rolls with cheese, Smoked Haddock filled fishcakes and risotto mushroom rice.

Paid up and back to the chemist to collect the Prescriptions.

So much fodder along with the prescriptions 2Tue09ameant I had to break the stuff into two bags.

Rather heavy, and I struggled to carry them to the bus stop, where the Pensioners Free Bus Pass was greatly appreciated I can inform you all.

Met tenant Frank there, little natter.

No one else at the shelter, but by the time a bus arrived there were several other passengers – who between them forced their way onto the bus before I could, and I ended up sitting on the only seat available, one of the side-saddle ones. Arthur Itis was not happy with this, and soon let me know.

Off Sherwood

Met and accompanied tenant Frank’s better half at the bus stop. Nice chat and laugh on the way back to the flats.

2Tue10Put away shopping and medications and took the midday doses.

Got the Computer on – Unresponsive again a few times, well too many times, so much so I gave up with Google and got the dinner on the cook.

Maple Belly Pork slices into the oven, potatoes in a saucepan (Added some extra Maple Syrup). When they were cooking I got the tomatoes, beetroot, sliced an apple, mini pork and cheese pie and the cheesy cob onto the tray ready.

Tried to updated this diary, but Chrome problems decided me to do this in the morning, turned off the computer.

Got the no2Tue11sh served up with a small pot of lemon yoghourt.

An excellent tasty meal this one! Rated this at 9.45/10, despite nearly losing a tooth as I struggled with the tough skin o the belly pork. Lovely!

Did the last Health Checks took the evening medications and perused the TV magazine. Some good stuff on tonight that I fancied watching, but I was fully aware that I wasn’t going to see much of them and fall asleep. Hehehe!

Which I did swiftly. The mobile phone rang out, of course, I knew it was close cause I could hear it as I disentangled myself from the £00 second-hand recliner, but could I locate where it was? No! It stopped ringing. I was at a loss as to where it must be, went into the hallway to check the jacket pocket, and the landline telephone rang. It was Sister Jane. Back into the front room and spotted the mobile on the floor near the chair as I got to the landline. We had a chinwag for a while and I lost the signal. Jane rang back on the mobile, she was in her garden in the sunshine. I knew she was alright, cause she ordered me to eat pasta in my diet and told me off for buying tinned meat filled peppers in tomato sauce, also gave me a lecture on slimming and losing weight. Hahaha! (Only joking!)

Accifauxpa! Did the washing up, opting today, to stab my left-hand finger with the little steak knife, right down the nail again. Not deep, though.

There were three episodes of Law & Order on consecutively on channel 21. Full of hope of watching at least one of them before nodding off, I settled with a bottle of spring water, a chocolate bar (Topic) and Duodenal Donald twinging away. Every time an advert came on I nodded off, then it got worse, I kept slipping off while watching the programme. Not the foggiest idea now of what I was looking at. Just had a stubborn determination to keep on trying to watch it. Tsk! Eventually, I drifted off and into the land of nod properly.

Woke much later, around 0200hrs in desperate need of Porcelain Throne activity! Duodenal Donald was rampant and very annoying with his persistence and degree of botherationalisationing! Due to this, getting back to sleep was not easy.

Hey-ho! TTFN

Inchcock – Friday 12th May 2017

5Fri01

Friday 12th May 2017

Haitian Creole: Vendredi 12 Me 2017

0325hrs: The previous four hours had been a terrible nightmare of Diarrhoea Daniel prompted pebble-dashing sessions on the Porcelain Throne. Very slowly, but thankfully these are receding now. How long for I don’t know. Getting far less frequent. Scared to have anything to eat now, though.

Did the Health Checks: Sys 148 – Dia 80 – Pulse 84 – Temp 36.2 – Weight 14.65

Took the morning medications with another ADR capsule, and made a mug of tea.

Updated yesterday’s diary and started this one off. Then off to Pebble-Dash the Porcelain Throne again. Far less urgency, mess and blood this time. On the wane, I think, even if only temporary until the next food intake, the relief is much appreciated.

5Fri02a0405hrs: Off to Pebble-Dash the Porcelain Throne again. Far less urgency, quantity, mayhem and blood this time. On the wane, I think, even if only temporary until the next food intake, the relief is much appreciated.

I banged the right foot on the corner of the cabinet, right on the tender wound scar! I nearly swore I can tell yer! Hehe!

5Fri04

Made another mug of tea, then I thought the view outside warranted an effort at getting a ‘Moody’ photographicalisation. Opened the window to hang out of to take this hopefully masterpiece. And I could hear the bird chicks demanding their breakfast. This was without any hearing aids in.

I don’t think it came out as particularly good, though.

Still, it did give me the opportunity to bang my head on the frame while closing the window. Tsk!

Did some WordPress reading.

What to eat with the least risk to the ‘Trots’ came to mind. I’ve got some Wonky potatoes in the cupboard. I thought I had some rice as Patti Beckert suggested, but can’t find it. Tsk! Will a bit of battered Cod fish and a few boiled potatoes be alright, without any tomatoes, beetroot or other embellishments?

5Fri05Getting the potatoes in the saucepan on a low light, I came across this misshapen one. Put it in with the others.

Then went on Facebook.

Then started doing some Graphicalisationing. Starting with one of Herr Lynton Cox.

Using a Mad Professor picture from Pixabay.

LyntLabThis is the result.

Hope Lynton likes this.

No calls to the Porcelain Throne in over an hour now, nearly two actually. The rumbling is still there in the innards

The rumbling is still there in the innards mind you, but far less volatile.

Flipping Heck! I just sneezed and found myself in immediate need of visiting for a pebble-dashing session on the Porcelain Throne!

Ian05BikeTen-minute later, I returned to write this paragraph, with water in my eyes! Hehe!

Did another graphicalisation, this one of Martin Shuttlecock.

I made this one into Sepia mode to fit in with the time period that suited it. He’s delivering beetroots with a bottle of Guinness and his trusty dog.

Then I moved on to make a start on a TFZer attempt at humour… but had a diversion again to the Porcelain Throne!

Oh, dear…

So tired and weak feeling.

Sat down and tried to get some rest or even sleep.

Only a few more movements were needed to the Throne, no more than eight or so all night. But the bubbling brewing and rumbling from the innards did not stop at all.

Could not muster any enthusiasm for anything, even thinking went out the window. Hehe!

I could not face doing any ablutions.

Took the medications but didn’t have a meal of sorts, I did nibble all night though, biscuit, crisps, potatoes, iced lolly even a bar of chocolate? A good sign perhaps?

TV on, Dizzy Dennis paid a few visits, and there were many visitations for a wee-wee throughout the night. Hours of nodding off and waking.

Hey-ho!

Today, a day of discomfort, depression and angst popped along,

Devoid of fun, contentment, direction, hope or song,

Not much occurring so this diary cannot be very long,

Times like this, I must have confidence and be strong,

Not like a Hero, to win me a gong,

But accept Whoopsiedangleplops are due to my failings all lifelong,

Porcelain Throne visits are like pebble dashing, and boy does it pong!

It’s payback for the things I’ve failed at and done wrong,

The wind escaping and rumbling innards the whole nightlong,

All night I was worrying and fretting; Why am I not strong?

If I went to Australia, would I recognise a Currajong?

Will Arthur Itis, Duodenal Donald, Dizzy Dennis be on-song?

Will I ever meet an alien, bigfoot, Elvis or King Kong?

Anyway, how does one sound an umlaut or diphthong?

I’ll settle for a mug of tea, but not Souchong,

Then wash out my protection pants and thong!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 11 May 2017: Sister Jane & hubby Pete visited – Porcelain Throne Pebble-dashing Sessions were Rampant!

4Thur01

Thursday 11 May 2017

Dutch: Donderdag 11 Mei 2017

Sprang awake at 0300hrs, in dire need of the Porcelain Throne. The £300 second-hand recliner allowed me out easily enough, but as soon as the right foot hit the ground the pain began and simultaneously Dizzy Dennis and Duodenal Donald paid me a visit. What a start to the day! Felt right sorry for myself I did. Hehe!

2Tue05I’d got the equipment needed for the last of the three Bowel Cancer Screening samples and got it done, messily. All done, put in an envelope ready to post off later.

Got the washing and accoutrements and went down to the Laundry Room and got the machine going.Back to the apartment

Back up to the apartment. Another call to the Porcelain Throne… Haemorrhoid Harold was bleeding this time. Another mess to clean up.

Started to finish off yesterday’s diary.

Down to move the clothes into the dryer. Then out into the darkness.

Took the samples envelope and inserted it into the postbox and the two jars into the Bottle Bank.

4Thur05

Back up to the flat and carried out the Health Checks and took the medications.

4Thur07

The flipping weight has been going back up all this week – Sob! And I thought I was eating so much healthier, and there had been days when the ‘Trots’ prevented me eating?

4Thur06Down to collect the clothes from the dryer.

Found I had an odd sock again. After searching the machines, floor and dryers, I gave up on it and returned back up to the twelfth floor.

Huh!

Got in, put the things in the airing cupboard and the ‘Trots’ forced me once again into the Porcelain Throne room! Another mess to clear and clean up and now I have more washing to do!

Dizzy Dennis gave me a turn. Getting concerned at his persistence lately.

Wondered if I should email or call Janet and Pete to cancel their visit in case I pass on whatever is causing my ‘Trots’ onto them? Oh, dear, the undecided mind confuses me. I didn’t call them. However, I am not sure if I’ve done the right thing and it is ages since I saw them and am looking forward to their visit so. Luckily they are shopping nearby today and found the time to call in to see me, ETA 1400hrs or thereabouts.

4Thur04The darned foot is no better. Limping along in pain all the time, but managing, even with the other ailments in unison with the foot.

Humph!

Finished Wednesday’s and updated this diary.

Hello… off to the Porcelain Throne again, not good this.

Back in a bit, I hope. Giggling to self! Blimey, where’s it all coming from! Another messy session. The foot is causing hassle whenever I stand or walk: if I walk more than few yards Anne Gyna gets annoyed with me, Duodenal Donald is nagging away at me all the time; And now I can’t sit down without pains from Harry Haemorrhoid with the bottom now being so sore as well! I could do without Dizzy Dennis’s attentions as well.

Got some fodder being delivered later from Morrison’s. Cause I can’t go out until the last two parcels are delivered from Amazon. The raincoat and the shower curtain, the latter is due today via the Royal Mail. I’ll check the Email for any updates on delivery:

4Thur08

That’s interesting. The jacket/coat is due today and the keyboard letters that arrived yesterday are due today? Confused? I am!

Back again to the Porcelain Thone.

Went on WordPressing and then Facebook for a while before starting the cleaning in earnest, I wish there was an Ernest to do it for me. Haha!

Finished all the paperwork sorting first.

4Thur09The Morrison chap arrived. He kindly carried the things into the kitchen for me, nice bloke.

He kindly carried the things into the kitchen for me, nice bloke.

Only just enough room in the freezer, cause I bought a box of four large battered Cod, Birds Eye, on offer. The fridge is fullish now too.

The fridge is fullish now too.

Tackled the kitchen cleaning next – a bit of a job doing the trays, cupboards, cooker etc.

4Thur11Then I started on the windows next mission in the cleaning campaign.

I could not find the vinegar cleaner, even after a fifteen-minute search?

So I used the Dettol all Purpose one, it seemed to get it decent enough. Mind you, now it’s dried I’ve not yet examined it closely for any streaks. I’m good at them normally. Hehe!

Swept the floor and got the mop and bucket out. Looking alright now.

4Thur10Had a scan of the horizon.

Polished the second-hand 1962 Hopewell’s cabinet thingy that the computer is on.

So tired now, so I just gave the carpets a quick bash with the vacuum cleaner.

The deliveries arrived from Amazon. They had sent two waterproof jackets not one? And sent some more alphabet letters? The shower curtain arrived, luckily they only sent one of these.

I decided to give Brother-in-law Pete one of the coats early for next Christmas, such a good price they were.

Updated this diary and then into the wetroom to do the ablutions. One more session of the Porcelain Throne being needed. Grumph!

All finished at 1325hrs, Jane and Pete arrived.

Nice to see them, but I dare not give Jane a kiss or shake hands with Pete and I warned them about the ‘Trots’ contamination risk factor on arrival – in fact during their one-hour visit, I had to utilise the Throne at least eight times.

I asked them if they could ring the Insurance people to change my address on the policies. After much kerfuffle, Pete got it done for me. They are going to send the next lot to the old address to let it be forwarded to me here as a security measure.

In between nipping to the Porcelain Trots Treatment Throne (I like that, hehe), I gave them their nibbles and pressies and, they had a brew. Pete seemed to like the coat, although he forgot to take it with him when he left. Not sure what we gossiped about, my head was in a muddle over the effects of the repeat visits to the Porcelain Trots Treatment Throne.

Said my fond farewells to them and back into the Porcelain Trots Treatment Throne room, feeling really bad now, poor old thing. So nice to have a visit.

Realised they had left the coat and rang Jane, told to keep it safe until winter when he needs it. So I will. Had a laugh about something or other.

05Thu12Got the meal ready.

I left the Lemon Curd yoghourt, cause I thought it smelt a bit off?

Could have been because of the sinus’s affected by the Trots?

Did the Health Checks, during which I had to stop to pebbledash the porcelain three times!

Thought things had started to settle down innards-wise (Fool)!

5Fri01Took the medications with an extra ADR capsule.

Got the head down, feeling dizzy a few times, but I did nod off relatively soon.

Then, 0150hrs all hell let loose!

I spent over two hours carrying out Pebbledash sessions to relieve the cruel innards and cleaning me and the WC between each visitation. The stomach grinding and rumbling away, a damned good job I have plenty of kitchen towels in stock.

Took another ADR capsule in desperation to help stop the prolonged pain and most extreme uncomfortableness that had the innards and dizzies battling each other. Truth is, between visits at one stage, the WC did not have time to refill before I was back on the throne and splattering more pretty heavy blood-brown patterns on the porcelain!

This seemed to be easing off slightly around 0300hrs. Still the feeling of dread of a restart, I filled some buckets with water just in case. Still the odd little spluttering. The thing that concerned me was the amount of blood in there. Although thinking about it, Haemorrhoid Harry had had a good bashing over the last 36 hours, so maybe this is to be expected.

Updated this tosh again.

Damn it, here it comes again…

0310hrs: Decided to stay up on the computer so as to be near and ready for any further a attacks!

Hehehe!

Inchcock – Monday 24th April 2017: Incorporating the midday(ish) dream that felt as real as any dream I’ve ever had!

1Mon01

Monday 24th April 2017

Malay: Isnin April 24, 2017

Woke, shaking a bit, and no memories of any dreams again. Duodenal Donald on form still. Out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off for a wee-wee – Little Inchy

Feelings of low-esteem still with me.

1Mon02I got dressed and took the laundry down and got it going in the only washing machine of the two that was available this morning.

I think the other one conked out on Thursday or Friday?

Then, back up to the apartment and started the diaries on the computer.

Down and moved the things into the dryer, once more up to the flat.

Finished yesterday’s post. Did some WordPress reading. Duodenal Donald was getting worse, took the medications with many swigs of the medicine and an extra 30g Codeine Phosphate with the morning medications.

1Mon03Down to collect the washing.

Taking a bag of rubbish made up from bits from all the three bins, that it is far too early to throw down the chute, to leave near the caretaker’s door outside.

Took this quick photographicalisation.

Wiped the dryer and around, cleaned the filter and made my way up to the flat.

Had a visit from Dizzy Dennis.

Put the clobber away, things to use next time in the bag and got the kettle on.

1Mon04

Did the Health Checks while waiting.

Updated this post to here.

0435hrs: Gives me plenty of time to do some Facebooking before I have to prepare for the visit to the surgery for the INR Blood Level Test. Got carried away there – Three hours!

Put some nibbles in the bag for the nurse and staff, and got the medicationalising and ablutions done. By the time I’d freshened various parts up and dressed, I had to get a move on so as not to be late for the INR test.

Two resident ladies near the laundry room door in the foyer as I went out, managed a “Good Morning” and a smile to each of them. Olive and Betty I think.

Hobbled down Winchester Street, not a bad morning, nice and fresh, a bit of 1Mon06drizzle occasionally. Left up the hill to the crest, and down into Carrington.

Duodenal Donald and Anne Gyna were joined by Roger Reflux in giving me some hassle as I walked down the slope to the surgery… the I had to stop because Dennis Dizzy added his halfpennyworth.

This could be a nocive ridden day, I thought?

Dizzy Dennis disappeared (A bit of a mouthful there, sorry) as I entered the surgery waiting room. Booked in and sat down and got the crossword book out. The receptionist called me over, which Arthur Itis was pleased with I hobbled to the desk. She handed me a thick filled envelope. Hello hello, I whispered silently to myself.

1Mon08It was regarding the request I made six weeks or so ago for the I.D. needs for the bank transfer from the Doctor.

Several notes to and from people hand written in specialist Doctors style.

The last one, Action Pending I could read:

Mr Chambers: Unfortunately Dr Vindla said she cannot do this letter for you.

Fair enough that, at least they let me know. With my luck being as it is I didn’t get any hopes up anyway. Sad innit? Also sorry that Dr Vindla is still off poorly, I wanted to ask what she was off with but didn’t have the nerve to.

The phlebotomist Nurse, Yvonne fetched me in. Did the blood and it was at this point, as I took off the coat, I realised that earlier, I must have put the new trousers in the wash and put the old ones back on again, cause they were there hanging for grim life around my midriff. Tsk!

She patiently but quickly had a look at the Health Checklist I’m printed out and decided that the Sys was far too high and made a note on the computer for the Doctor (The Locum?). And when I have my appointment with him/her on Thursday, I’ve to mention it.

WP01She then pointed out when I asked her if I was doing the temperature correctly, that I wasn’t. Fancy that! I should set a timer for one minute then make contact with the skin under the arm and wait for this timer to run out. Evidently, the thermometer thingymabob pips or beeps three times, when it is done. But of course being hard of hearing I cannot hear it, this is why she suggested using the timer. Good isn’t she! Oh, and I have to wait after turning it on, until the LO shows up before applying it to the skin, easy when someone tells yer! Hehe! From here on, I should get the correct readings I hope. Tsk!

1Mon09Told her about the depressions and anxiety attacks and she gave me a leaflet/card with some contact numbers on to use if I liked.

Telephone numbers not very much use of course, but she said there are email addresses I can use too. In an effort to start a self-introductory session.

They are being run by the Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group it seems. I will be permitted to contact any one of the three numbers on the card. I’ll have a look at each website later. (Got around to this the following day, Tsk!)

Thanked her and gave her the nibbles.

Outside, the rain had stopped completely now, and down through Carrington to the Lidl store. Meandered around finally selecting some English Piccolo Tomatoes, Iced Lollies to replace the ones I left out of the freezer (Huh), plain greek yoghourt, two cheese-topped rolls and some of that they now call Hippopotaspuds!

Here they are in the saucepan later, awaiting water and cooking. Years ago I got some of these from Morrison’s, but they are not available much nowadays. They used to call them Apache Potatoes then. I think I enjoyed them a lot.

Caught a b05Thu12us back into Sherwood, the feet were aching now.

Called in the Wilko store to get some more of the Oust kettle descaler packs that I found splendid and efficient, (And cheap there too at £1 for a pack of two, £1.60 at Morrison’s) ready for next time I need them – assuming I don’t croak-out first like, of course.

Also got some cheap kitchen towels, spectacle lens cleaners, a bottle of bleach and some freshness booster.

Out and up the hill to the bus stop. Several other tenants waiting also. Had a chinwag and laughed with them.

Caught the bus and we were all soon squashed in the lift going up. Mabel to floor eight, and the other three of us all to level twelve.

1Mon07Got in and got the small Hippopotaspuds on a low light, and put the other things away.

Into the wetroom and made use of the Porcelain Throne… well I thought I was going to make use of the Porcelain Throne.

Much wind and rumbling, but no activity. I read the book for a while in hopes that things would start moving… and fell asleep!

There followed a dream that seemed so real, I nearly cried when I woke up to find it wasn’t. Taken from the notes I’d written after the dream, on the toilet paper. Haha!

I was nipper again, walking through the street in the Nottingham Meadows.

Suppose it must have been around 1950. It seemed so real and natural to me that I floated, almost flew a few inches from the roadway and didn’t actually walk…

1Mon10This photograph in sepia I have found in my files is of one of the roads I was floating through. It was Allport Street off Waterway Street… As I recall?

I don’t think any of the other lads and lasses knew I was there, or they could not see me?

There was a boy I used to pal up with who lived on Blackstone Street back then, who caught polio and passed away; And there he was playing in his back yard with whip and top with his pet dog, Rex. I landed nearby, and to my amazement, he saw me and came over, and we sat on a wall we used to do so often back then, chatted for what seemed ages. No idea what about, but am sure we laughed a lot. Until his Mam called him in for his tea. He left in the fashion we used to; “Tara, see yer later!”

As I was floating down the alleyway back onto the street, I woke up, nearly falling off of the porcelain throne. Felt horribly depressed that the dream was not reality. Hey-ho!

No rear end movement had taken place, I bent down to pick up the fallen crossword book and clouted myself spot on where I hit the head yesterday! Or was it the day before? Anyway, it brought me out of my daydreaming session. Hehe!

Did the last of the health checks, this time using the thermometer correctly.

1Mon11Got the Hippopotaspuds nosh ready. The small vine tomatoes were tasty.

Last of the chestnuts used up, and Morrison’s no longer stock them online. Not that I could get any anyway, being hopefully in the middle of the card transfer, I can’t use either the old one or new one yet. Messy!

I should find out on Thursday… ah, another prospective messy day there. Got to go off To the Doctors, (must remember all I have to tell him/her) for 0850hrs, Social Hour at 1000hrs, then the Bank to see what’s happening with the account… No wonder the blood pressure is so high. Tsk!

Got the goggle-box on and swiftly as you like this time, despite Duodenal Donald’s attentions, I nodded off in minutes.
