0025hrs: Jumped awake and the first thing I noticed was the lack of rumbling innards. A call to the Porcelain Throne developed, and I made my way to the wet room. Where the session was the best one for days and days… Very good, so much betterer that I did not need to do any extra cleaning up afterwards.

To the kitchen and made a brew, took the medications and did the Health Checks (A little early, but at this time I did not realise how early I had risen until I saw the clock, Tsk!). Sys158, Dia 63 Pulse 88, Temp 35.8 and the weight 14.94 the same as yesterday.

Started the computer and began this diary.

0130hrs: Being as I had risen prematurely, I decided to get the laundry room duties done, so gathered the accoutrements and clothes and down and got the machine going, and back to the flat to carry on with this post for a while.

0205hrs: Down to move the washing from washer to dryer, did a bit of cleaning, then up again to carry on computerisationing.

Back in the flat, it dawned on me how kind the ailments were to me today. Apart from Reflux Roger and Duodenal Donald, I could hardly complain at all. Made me a tiny bit nervous, in fashion, if you know what I mean?

0215hrs: Updated this post to here, then got on with updating yesterdays and posted it off.

0300hrs: Down to collect the laundry and clean the machines.

The ‘Sterile’ corridor on the ground floor looked terribly bare and Russian-like for some reason.

I was still feeling uncomfortably free of ailments, and this continued to worry me? Even the ingravescent nature of Hippy Hilda seems to be taking a holiday this morning?

Collected the agglomeration of clothes, sorted and folded them, got them in the bag, then cleaned the filters and the inside of the machine drum.

0329hrs: Back up in the flat and put away the things in the airing cupboard, the trousers I put in the Nottingham Hospice Charity Shop bag with the saucepans and radio, to take to them when I go to the dentists later in the week.

The wind is cold and stiff this morning, and entering through the multitude of cracks in the window framing and doors. Brr!

I made a Morrison order, sent it off.

Started to do the Silly Poem post. Got it completed and posted off.

Then checked the Emails. Then caught up on Facebook.

0830hrs: Off to get the ablutions done now. Back in a bit.

0908hrs: All done now. Another Porcelain Throne visit, but it went well again, no cleaning up to do afterwards either. Rushed about in time to get to the bus stop in time.

The rain was pelting down, as I left the apartment.

By the time I got down in the lift, it had almost stopped, but still coming. Walked down along with some other tenants from the foyer, I held my brolly over Anne as we were joined by several others later. Chinwagging, moaning, complaining, laughing and socialising carried out until the vehicle arrived.

Had a go on the crosswords en route, dropped off the bus at Sainsbury’s store in Daybrook. Got some cooked shelled Chestnuts, baby beetroots on offer, a leek, three small turnips and Surimi Royal fish sticks. Also some Mini-Cheddars Stilton flavour, these were for me, not handing out as nibbles. I tried some last week, and I love them!

At the checkout, there were only three working, and the self-serve ones all had red lights on. The chap on the checkout that I had a long wait to get served on was a right friendly type. So short on customer care and snotty with it, I thought that maybe he is related to Lord Sainsbury himself? I paid the nice highfaluting, smart-alecky man.

Give him credit, though he was intelligent enough not to say anything wrong, it was just the way he said it unsmilingly and without acknowledging me. As a professional, I rated him at 8.8/10.I bet he could get a job as a receptionist at the Audio Clinic, easily.

As I made my way to the bus-stop, I almost caught a sidewalk accident as this Nottingham Pavement Cyclist nearly collided with a young lady on the corner outside the store.

The drizzle lessened into a stop while I was waiting for the L9 to arrive.

Onto the bus and had a rather more successful bash at the crossword book than usual. Despite the best efforts of the young lady in a seat on the other side of the bus. Almost shouting down her phone or whatever it was, with headphones on. The girl was pleasant enough, just very loud, bless her. I only mentioned this because she was pretty, so I took her picture. Hehe!

As we crossed over the traffic island on the Ring Road, I was lucky enough to want to photographicalise the wet road and traffic.

Lucky, because I caught this pigeon sat on top of a beacon. He was dead still, soaked through and I think he had some racing tabs on his legs. (Not certain) If he did, I wondered if he got lost in the rain.

I was joined on the bus by six other residents of the flats when they got on in Sherwood. Two ladies sat in front of me, and I handed them some nibbles.

I got off the bus first and started to walk back to the apartments, but I was soon overtaken.

Through the morning the left knee had got much worse, but Hippy Hilda had got a lot less bothersome?

We all had a laugh in the lift, well four of us, did.

Into the flat, and after a wee-wee, I put the purchases away.

Made a cuppa, did the Health Checks and took the midday medications.

Back on the computer and updated this diary.

I honestly took these three pictures within 4 minutes of the same view:

The wind was so strong it carried the clouds and rain right passed in that time? Amazing! It was so changeable for hours like this. Thankfully, nothing like the poor devils are suffering in America, though.

Did some TFZer graphicalisationing and got it posted off.

Health Checks and medications imbibed.

Nosh cooked and served up.

Best rating I could give this one is 7/10, I’m afraid.

The Asda minced beef pie was terrible. The mince and gravy were fatty in the extreme and the pastry tasteless! The turnips not very nice. The Sainsburys beetroot was as hard as ball bearings. Not at all enjoyable, other than the potato balls and the lemon desserts.

I nibbled, nodded off and woke several times, nay, many times while I was supposedly watching the TV. Hehe!
