Inchcock Today – Friday 3rd August 2018: Mini-hobble, glasses collected, got some interesting photos and the plates-of-meat are now agony! Hehe!

Friday 3rd August 2018

Greek: Παρασκευή 3 Αυγούστου 2018

0450hrs: I woke, late in the morning for me, and had terrible dysania. The brain being determined for some reason, to toy over and permute the needs and fears of the day and its challenges. While seemingly determined, despite the signs of a wee-wee presenting itself, to remain there, bedraggled, half-in-half-out of the £300 second-hand recliner, without the slightest interest in getting up?

The lightness coming in through the unopenable filthy new balcony window and the decaying hole-ridden curtains was of no encouragement. The uhtceare was winning the inner battle over abandoning the chair or not.

After a long while pondering and fretting, without any discernable decisions being attained, I was forced to get my body-mass, (And there is more of it now, than ever before – See Weight – Oh dear!) upright without any ailments bothering me. Off to the wet room for a wee-wee.

I seemed to cheer-up a tad after that and went into the kitchen to take the medications and get the Health Checks done.

5Fri005aAs I put the light on, the reflection from the dirty cellophaned windows, with my own reflection bouncing back at me, then gave me the thought, to photograph it for posterity. Hehe!

I reckon the right window could have been accepted in the Tate, as a work of art!

Picasso would have been proud of it. Hehe!

I had to nip back to the Porcelain Throne, and the stomach innards rumbled suddenly, then activity ensued. I made it in time, though. Washed and returned to do the Health Checks again. Readings were mostly up this morning, including, I regret to say, the weight! So much for eating smaller low-calorie ready-made meals and getting exercise in! Humph!

5Fri001b

5Fri001I found a letter in the hallway.

From the doctor’s surgery. Telling me to ring them after 1100hrs to make a 15-minute appointment with the nurse, for the annual CHD checks. Have nothing to drink other than water from 10.00 pm the previous evening.

Take medication as normal.

Take a Urine Sample with you.

The line: ‘Make an early morning appointment’ made me laugh out loud! Every time I request an appointment I ask for an early one. Just once, I got an early one; July 2015 it was. Humph!

5Fri002Still feeling a little lighter in spirits, I started to create this blog up to here.

Made a brew of Assam tea.

Then, finished off yesterday’s Inchcock Today and got it sent off to WordPress.

I pondered over the things that need doing today.

  • I have to ask someone to ring after 1100hrs to the doctors to make an appointment for the CDH tests. Or, call at the surgery and make it that way. With the weight increasing a little extra exercise might help?
  • I must get to the opticians to find out when the new glasses will be ready.

There was another thing I thought of as I was typing, but it seems to have escaped me. Klutz!

Time to get the ablutions done. All sorted. One bag of waste to the rubbish chute. I got the Morrison freebie Hi-energy drink in the carrier to treat the helpful lady at the glasses shop. Down 5Fri006and outside, fingers crossed I’d not forgot to take anything with me.

More materials being delivered to the New Extra Care block compound.

Took a photograph as I crossed over Chestnut Walk and up the gravel hill footpath up towards Woodthorpe Grange Park.

5Fri006a

It was a grand morning out there this morning. The sun was going in occasionally, but mostly out and bright.

All of the waste bins in the park were overflowing.

The last one near the gate was the worst one.

5Fri006bOnto Mansfield Road and up the hill and down on my way to the Opticians.

I met and greeted a couple of people I knew on the walk to the Optometrist.

I introduce myself to the lady on the reception disk. They had a little bit of a palava finding my spectacles. But they did so in the end. I handed the energy drink to the lady, who seemed pleased and surprised.

A gentleman fitted my with the new spectacles and took the £272 for them. I thanked 5Fri007them and pressed on, wearing the new varifocals.

Unfortunately with the plates-of-meat already hurting me, on towards Carrington.

Near the Methodist Church, I spotted this pigeon on the pelican control lights. At the time, I’m sure I came up with a funny or witty comment to put on here when I posted it. But, the brains memory box let me down again! Humph!

5Fri008Over the hill and down towards the Sherrington Park Medical Practice.

Stopping, to take this shot of the garden with the beautiful flowers, and view of Mansfield Road.

WCplasterA Sadly, as I got underneath the trees sticking out over the pavement further along the road in this picture, I came across this 5Fri009sorrowful sight on the right. This chic, I assumed had been thrown out by a cuckoo. Or its mother, or else it was blown or fell out of the nest. Whichever, it saddened me to see it.

I entered the surgery and waited for an assistant to become free.

WCplasterA The lady waiting behind me seemed a little uptight as she waited, so I told her to go ahead in front of me, as I was in no rush. All I got for my bother was a tut and a semi-sneer? But I didn’t mind on this occasion. The poor gal did look to be in an agitated frame of mind, something was worrying her.

The receptionist struggled to find my details on the computer. However, she did sort it out all on her own. She gave me an appointment for Monday 20th August at 0830hrs. Apparently, she was another new receptionist,  as this was only the second time I’d got an early appointment for over a year now. Hehe!

Out into the sunshine and hobbled (The feet were so painful) down into Carrington and nipped into the paper shop and got some pens. Then out and to the Lidl store. Where I got some lemon & lime spring water, seasoned potato slices, Cumberland mini-sausages, Scarlet tomatoes and a loaf of bread. Paid in the self-serve area without any problems.

Went to the bus stop, and realised it was not good timing today. If I caught a but back into Sherwood, it would mean I’d either have a 40-minute wait for an L9 bus back up the hill to the flats, or I could walk into Sherwood and catch the L9? After some consideration. I decided walking back to Sherwood was the best option, as that walk up the incredibly steep up Winchester Hill would take more out of me, and set off Anne Gyna. See? I can make and take decisions sometimes! Hehe!

5Fri011So, I hobbled back along Mansfield Road on the other side of the road.

Near the chip shop, the communal waste bins didn’t-half-stink!

Being Nottinghamians that use this facility, it was mostly wine, beer, and spirit bottles, that mingled with the rotting take-away waste.

5Fri011aAbout a third of the way, I was making decent progress.

When this mother and toddler passed by me. The little one kept looking back at me and smiling, but with a puzzled look on her face, bless her.

I failed to understand why, but she had such a cute smile. Haha!

5Fri012WCplasterA As I got to the Haydn Road/Mansfield Road traffic light junction, a Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist, wearing an Asda (Walmart) reflective jacket nearly hit me. Tsk!

The plates-of-meat agony was really even worse now.

I still had time to spare as I approached the bus stop.

5Fri013The Sherwood Discount (As was) shop, has still not been reopened by any new retailer yet. I suppose that seeing so many other closed retail units nearby would put anyone off!

I went into the Wilko store but didn’t buy anything.

I could see a new piece of official Nottinghamian Street Art near the al fresco 5Fri014seats of the cafe.

Definitely a teapot design this one. Further down the road, there was cup-cake fashioned one.

Back up limpingly to the bus stop.

I was joined by a lady and her other half from the flats. Gave them a nibble and we had a chinwag.

When we arrived back on Chestnut Walk, it was utter mayhem. So much traffic that was delivering to Willmott Dixon or trying to find somewhere to park or unload.

Jenny’s Frank caught we three up, and we made our way to the flats and into the lift.

We had a right good mix-up with the floor buttons pressed willy-nilly. Hahaha!

I said my farewells as each got off at their floor.

5Fri015Got in the flat, took the medications with an extra Codeine Phosphate to help counter the grief the feet were giving me. But, I thought, perhaps the extra exercise would help me with the weight problem. Got on the scale, but it hadn’t. Sob!

Then I got the appointments recorded in the calendar. Had a wee-wee, washed-up and got the fodder stored away.

Not been a bad day really. Apart from the plates-of-meat.

The new spectacles are working fine. The reading one with the larger lenses is easier to use when on the computer, than the old prescription ones were.

Perhaps just a little loose fitting, but they do not fall down the nose. So using them for so many hours at a time, this might prove beneficial?

Got the oven warming ready for the potatoes and beef pastie later.

I got on to update this post. Did the last Health Checks earlier than usual, had another wee-wee and got the meal cooking proper.

5Fri016All this hobbling is bothering the feet, and yet not halting the ever-increasing weight problem I have now?

I nodded off while the fodder was cooking. Only for a minute or so, but during that time I seemed to have several distinctly different dreams. With varying themes, too.

I’m glad I wrote them down now.

From travelling on a train in a goods wagon and being chased, being beheaded while in a dentist chair while having a shave, and finally back in the much-repeated underground cave, with bits of my body dropping off, as I searched for my hearing aids?

5Fri35Time to serve up the nosh.

A beef pastie, tomatoes, gherkins, savoury seasoned sliced potatoes, mushrooms, mini-sausages and meat sticks.

Some ingredients of this nosh were brilliant, others not so good. Overall, a Taste Rating of only 5/10 could be given. The pastie and tomatoes let it down. Hehe!

Settled to watch, Animal Police, The Dog Whisperer and then Hetty Wainthrope Investigates on the TV.

They had afew nod-offs in between, and I missed the ending of Hetty Waintrope. Grr! Hehe!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 2nd August 2018: Had a smashing Tenant’s Social Hour today!

ZZZ19U

Thursday 2nd August 2018

Latvian: Ceturtdiena, 2018. Gada 2. Augusts

0330hrs: Woke with a rare unsettling to me, clarity of mind. I knew the laundry needed doing and that the Morrison delivery was due twixt 0730 > 0830hrs. So I decided to do the washing first, and I should still have time to get things ready for the arrival of the fodder, get the Social Hour accoutrements, Health Checks, and ablutions, etc. done.

4Thu001Out of the coming-to-the-end-of-it’s life rickety £300 second-hand recliner and had a wee-wee.

I took the medications.

Put the camera, mobile, and lobby-door swipe into my pockets, and down to the laundry room.

I got the washing into the machine and started 4Thu001ait, then nipped outside to take some photographicalisation of the morning scene.

The first one here, I accidentally took as I stood on Chestnut Walk adjusting the settings on the DMZ-1070 Lumix camera.

Might I be able to use it later in a graphic?

4Thu02The mechanicalisationed scaffolding, hoist supports, etc. made for a half decent shot, in the lighting and darkness of the day, I thought.

Whoopsie2 As I moved back out onto the road to take a picture from the bottom of the block of flats, my right shoulder came into contact with one of the upright support poles.

4Thu01I believe I may have uttered something along the lines of; “Oh, bother!”

Looking in the viewfinder, I could not see any light on in my room window; I felt sure I’d left it on when I came down?

This photographic effort didn’t come out very well, did it? I wonder what I did wrong?

Health Checks carried out, and the medications are taken.

4Thu05

4Thu04I sorted the medication dosage pots out for the week.

Off for another wee-wee.

No signs of any Porcelain Throne requirements yet. Worrying, this!

Back down again to move the laundry from washer to the dryer. Cleaned the drum of the washer.

4Thu03Back up to the apartment again, and yet one more wee-wee.

I sorted out the photographicalisations taken so far, ready to use in this post.

Started this diary off on WordPress.

Had a wee-wee (How surprising, Hehe!)

4Thu06The time flew, and I was soon down in the lift again, to collect the clothing from the dryer.

I extracted the gear and folded it ready to go in the bag.

I’d like to mention that in today’s laundry room activities, there were no odd-socks, no Whoopsiedangleplops whatsoever, and no toe-stubbings either. Smug-Mode-Adopted!

4Thu07The day was getting lighter quickly now.

So I popped out to take this picture of all three buildings.

Woodthorpe Court on the left, the new Extra-Care residential unit and staff premises in the middle, and Winchester Court behind the magnificent trees on the right.

4Thu08Back inside, I collected the laundry bag and up in the lift, and in need of another wee-wee!

A note on the notice board from Jenny informed us that the Saturday, August 18th day trip to Skegness, departs at 0930hrs from outside the building. Thanks, Jenny.

Whoopsie2 Got in the apartment and had the wee-wee, a close-call this time. Oh, dear!

I got the airing cupboard filled with the washed clothes and pressed on with updating this blog.

Then began to update and post off yesterday’s diary.

4Thu09Went to get the ablutions done before the arrival of the Morrison fodder.

I’d left some face cloths soaking in antiseptic disinfectant and liquid soapflakes in the sink. I now had a dirty great big gigantic meat fly and a little midge in the water.

Whoopsie2 They both seemed to be dead on their backs. As I went to remove them, the large one took off as fast as lightning. Never to be seen again! Must he have been taking a bath? Hehehe!

4Thu10The ablutionisationing all finished at 0730hrs. Five minutes later the groceries were delivered.

I got the stuff sorted out and stored away.

There didn’t seem to be anywhere near so much stuff as last week, but the cost was the same.

4Thu12I didn’t realise that I had ordered three of the fresh ready-made lamb hotpots. At only £6 for three.

I decided to have one of these ready-made meals today. I intend to do some of the seasoned potato slices to add to it in the oven at the same time.

I hope these are the same brand of hotpot I got last month, cause they were excellently flavoured if I remember rightly.

Once again, the fridge and the freezer was cram-packed full.

4Thu11

The enormous 250g bag of Balsamic vinegar of Modena and Sea salt flavoured crisps had arrived. I ordered this as a thank you for Jenny’s work she does for us all. I know that her other half, Frank is very taken with these crisps. Best of all, they were down on offer from £2.50 to £1.50!

Whoopsie2 There was a bottle of fresh orange juice short delivered, though. Shlemiels!

I shall use Iceland next week for my grocery delivery. I set about doing the order straight away. Done it, being delivered next Tuesday twixt 0800 > 100hrs.

Got the nibble box topped up, raffle prizes and freebies in the bag. Set out to the social hour, taking a bag of rubbish to the chute on the way out, and a cleaned empty Basalmic vinegar bottle to go in the recycling bin.

Got out of the foyer and put the glass in the bin.

4Thu16

Manoeuvred around a plant vehicle and made my way along to the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights, Hauptsturmführeress Wardens Temporary HQ, Willmott-Dixon workers breakfast and tea-break room, Sarcasm & Insult distribution area. Tenants Socialisation Shed, Tenant Gals singing arena, Telling Inchcock off Zone, Things like crockery and pottery to be stolen from, and somewhere to rest while waiting for the bus, shed.

Where a decent turnout of residents had attended.

I gave Jenny the crisps and had a chinwag with her. I asked her if I could take her photo later with her dress on she was wearing. So I could post it on the TFZer gals page. To as see if they agree with me about my thinking it is so gorgeous. Then I put the raffle prizes on the trolley. And took the nibble-box around and got me a few mini-natters in.

I think we had a good laugh today. The gals, Cyndy and Margaret, were in good form, and I experienced a few good laughs.

Got my raffle tickets and handed them out.

T’was indeed a most enjoyable hour for me, anyway.

4Thu14After many residents had left or caught the bus, I got around to taking the photograph of Jenny’s dress. She forbade me from taking her face in the picture. She thought her face was too drawn, and her hair too fizzy, I think.

Being Jenny, she came up with an original, amusing solution. She put a cloth over her face! Hehehe!

Whoopsie2 I love the pattern on this dress. Jenny told me where she bought it, but I’m not sure I remember correctly. Malaysia, I think, for £3! I bet it’s lovely and fresh to wear in this heat we are having.

4Thu15I said my farewells to the few remaining members of the gang and made my way back to the flat.

I took this photographicalisation on the left. Catching all of the three buildings in the picture.

The new extra-care flats and staff offices block is coming on well now.

Back up to the apartment and in the wet room for a much-needed wee-wee. The urinalisationalistic repetitions today, decided me not to go out after all. I would not like to get caught short; So as to speak. Oh no!

4Thu15I washed up and went to make a brew of tea in the kitchen.

I saw that some new additions to the window defacing pattern had appeared.

I’m getting quite a collection now. Black, greys and now some suspicious brown splashes of whatever they are made of. Haha!

I updated this diary to here. Then went on Facebook to add these photos to the albums, and post a few to the TFZwe site.

Got the potatoes and lamb hotpot in the oven, and sliced the mushrooms into balsamic vinegar flavoured water in the saucepan simmering.

4Thu21I must say, although smaller portions, this nosh looked and smelt gorgeous.

Taste-Rating: 9.1/10.

I’m glad I bought the three min-meals for £6 now.

Did the Health Checks and took the medications.

Settled down to watch some TV. Stayed awake until gone 2200hrs! No nodding-offs, until I turned off the telly and then I was soon in the land of bliss – asleep!

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 1st August 2018: Marathon hobble, Arboretum visited, fell asleep on bus going home, wonderful nosh!

3Wed05a

Wednesday 1st August 2018

Dutch: Woensdag 1 Augustus 2018

0425hrs: Woke up, but wasn’t entirely sure if I had woken up or was I still dreaming. I’d had a bad night, couldn’t get to sleep at first, then when I did drop-off, I had persistent nightmares and dreams.

In one of them, the only one I can recall anything concrete from the memory banks about, I was on stage doing a stand-up comedy routine. The laughter from the auditorium seemed long and loud, and I was delighted at this. When they started to throw eggs and Molotov cocktails at me, then started shooting at me, I found myself suddenly in a dark confined space. I realised where it was, as I was shot-out of the torpedo tube! Not sure what happened next, but I ended up on a beach, unable to move with holidaymakers amazed and studying me like they would a beached whale?

For some reason, the scribbled notes that I can’t remember writing on the notepad were mostly legible for once.

It came to me; that I have to get to the hospital for the blood tests today. This prompted me to get my body-mass out of the £300 second-hand recliner and go to the Porcelain Throne and do the ablutions.

3Wed03WDP001B As I settled on the Throne, to find that things had gone all soft and runny again (Tsk!), it dawned on me; I do not have a blood test this week!

I cleaned up after the uncomfortably messy evacuation, washed my hands and went to the kitchen to get the Health Checks done.

The results looked alright.

3Wed02

Apart from the weight that had shot up. Humph!

3Wed04Took the medications, with a Dia-Limit capsule.

Started to make up a black waste bag, and found a few (around ten) of the black iron-clad biting beetles were in the bin I’d taken the bag out of.

The nippy little buggers dispersed at high speed, and I could only get to catch one of them. I sprayed the bins with antiseptic disinfectant. By gum, they are quick movers!

3Wed01It felt so cold this morning suddenly.

I got on with finishing off yesterday’s post.

With a lack of happening on Tuesday and the rain keeping me indoors, there was not much time needed to do the job of finalising and getting the diary posted off to the WordPress site.

3Wed04aThen I began to make up this blog page.

Went to make a brew of tea.

As I did so, the innards began to rumble a bit?

The skyline looked a tad threatening, so I had a look at the weather forecast for Nottingham on Google.

3Wed05

Not much chance of any precipitation until this evening according to this graph.

WDP001B Suddenly the innards started to brew, and I had to hasten back to the Porcelain Throne again. Another messy evacuation. Huh! Still, it gave me time to consider whether I should have a walk into town or not. For Dizzy Dennis was starting to get at me now, and I couldn’t see why, or if he will let up later, as he usually does.

Decisions, decisions! In psychology, decision-making is regarded as the cognitive process resulting in the selection of a belief or a course of action among several alternative possibilities, often misread or incalculable. At least that what found as I looked it up on the web when trying to find a cause of my hesitancy, irresoluteness, and pendulous shilly-shallying. I tentatively decided I would go out, and have a good long walk to help counter my increasing weight, and feed the mallards in the Nottingham Arboretum.

I went onto the WordPress Reader.

Then got myself ready and took the black bags to the chute on the way out.

WDP001B I went back to the flat to put my hearing aids in. Schlemiel!

3Wed06Out and onto Chestnut Walk.

Another fear-making take-your-life-in-your-hands job getting along the now pavementless road. The builders were very busy again.

The plates-of-meat soon started aching and hurting, before I even got half the way down Winchester Street. But this was expected with my not getting much activity in lately.

3Wed07I plodded on resolutely.

And was so amazed at the progress I was making.

And, not a single Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist on the two-mile hike as far as the Rock Cemetry. Where, I thought about going in to view my Architectural hero’s grave, that of Fothergill Watson. By the time I got to the gate, 3Wed08I had realised I could not remember where it was located. Klutz!

I Carrington I called on the Sherrington Park Medical Practice to ask if the doctor could add some haemorrhoid cream to my prescription.

But she was not there.

I left and went further down Mansfield Road and 3Wed09crossed over to go to the Carrington Chemist shop.

The pharmacist spotted me going up to counter,  and hid. Hehe! I asked the young lady about there being no haemorrhoid cream in last months prescriptions. She said, after looking into the computer, the Doctor had stopped prescribing them now, and I would have to buy some over the counter. Part of the Governments cut-backs to save the NHS money. I was Gobsmacked!

3Wed10I departed and crossed the road and continued my, by now hobbling progress toward the Arboretum.

Near the Clarendon College, I spotted this BigBoy Waste bin as I passed a bus stop. Blimey, the stink coming from it! Haha!

Up the hill and noticed the time on the bus shelter display3Wed11.

I cut through to South Sherwood Street

An area inundated with student residences, ladies of the night and drug gangs.

It doesn’t matter what time of day it is when I walk down this street, I’m always on alert for muggers, pickpockets, druggies, alcoholics etc. None today, though. Phew!

3Wed11aAs I entered the grounds and walked under the MPB (Muggers Paradise Bridge), it was apparent that some kids play organisation had taken over the bottom area of Arboretum.

Much to the chagrin of some of the organisers, I took some photographs of how far they had got with play areas, bouncy castles, playground games for the kids.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

No one else about apart from the veggie-folk and me. I image the show will start later on today. Bet the kids who go enjoy themselves.

3Wed19I got to the pond. Only one or two Nottinghamians were about there too.

Only the pigeons showed any interest in the mealworm pellets and sunflower hearts I was dishing out, at first.

Later my favourite mallards came over and joined in the feast. But not many of them, and they all appeared so young?

I love the way that the pigeons and mallards seem to get on with each other.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I came out with a good bit of weight in the bags and only £8.03 lighter in the pockets. With; Choc bars for the Social Hour nibble box, 1×6 500g spring water, a drink of fresh orange juice, 2 rolls of black refuse sacks, balsamic vinegar (At only 57p a bottle!), oven bottom muffins and some cocktail sausages.

3Wed20Paid the bloke, packed the bags to even the weight balance and out and back over the road to go through the Victoria Mall again.

I spotted this bit of Nottinghamian Street Art on the way. Hehe!

As I came out onto Milton Street. Now this is true, not a made-up photographicalisation, the real deal, genuine and honestly I took this snap 3Wed21in the front of the mall door.

Yes, two, I say two imitation police officeresses, making their way into the Victoria Centre, as the giggled together.

The uniforms looked bright and new?

So, that is three pretend officers of the law I’ve seen in town in the last six weeks now. Things are looking up. Humph!

3Wed22I made my weary way through Trinity Square, down Trinity Walk onto Upper Parliament Street and down King Street into the slab square, to have a look around the Nottingham Beach.

Not many people on the beach though. But today there were three kids having fun in the paddling pool, mind.

3Wed23On the ‘broad-walk’, a Nottingham PAvement Cyclist was riding through the few folks there were.

His head swaggered ass he stopped to chat-up some young Nottingham girls.

Naturally, I was not jealous, at all. Haha!

I made my way up Queen Street to the L9 bus stop and found Mary sat at the shelter. (I think that is her name anyway).

We had a little natter en route back to the flats. I’d nodded off by the time the bus arrived at the Winwood building site. I was a bit surprised that Mary did not wake me up, a complete stranger lady did, though. I gave her thanks. What a plonka!

3Wed24Our getting back to Woodthorpe Court from the bus stop was bit hazzardous again.

Deliveries coming into the Willmott-Dixon lads, forklifts, tractors, and general traffic had to be navigated through.

Got in the lift and gave Mary a nibble. That’s sounds bad, dunnnit? Haha!

3Wed25We said out cheerios, and I carried on up in the lift and got to the flat.

Had a much needed wee-wee.

Put the fodder away and put the oven on to warm up for the seasoned chops to cook later.

Got the computer on and made up a map of this mornings hobble.

Cor blimey, the plates-of-meat were giving me some Michael Caine after the mini-marathon trek I’d taken.

Cost me three hours to update this blog.

Then I went on TFZer Facebook to add some of these photos for the clan.

Put some picture in the albums, too.

Got the meal, such as it is cooking. Well, the seasoned potato slices in the oven.

3Wed29aWDP001B Unfortunately, I forgot about the beans simmering in the saucepan, and when I went to check the potatoes progress, I found a semi-burnt tough congealed mass of leathery almost black baked beans!

Cunningly, I removed the pan from the heat, and stirred in some tomato and basil cooking sauce, and remained in the kitchen stirring it, while the potatoes cooked.

As it happens, apart from the cleaning up of the burnt saucepan afterwards, the beans tasted marvellous! In fact, everything on the plate tasted good. A taste Rating of 9.45/10!

The washing up took a record amount of time, though. Tsk!

While putting the pots away, I missed a phone call. Too slow to get to the other room. Humph!

When I got settled down, I put the TV on after planning what to watch tonight. There was an old film on I fancied seeing. But I nodded off and woke up when the credits were rolling on the screen. Hehe! At least I got some kip in for a change. Add this to the falling asleep on the bus, I did rather well. Even had a kind lady to wake me up at the bus stop.

Some exercise got in, saw and fed the mallards, saw police persons in town… Not a sad day for me!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 31st July 31st 2018

ZZZ18t

Tuesday 31st July 2018

Afrikaans: Dinsdag 31 Julie 2018

0330hrs: I woke with the brain rambling away with thoughts of whatever nature it seemed to want to ponder over. The only connection between the subjects that the grey-cells chose was my fretting and worrying about topics being so rampant. It was like listening to someone else’s thoughts at times.

I spent far too long in mental turmoil. Luckily, the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived to distract me from the troubled thoughts and concerns.

So, out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off to the wet room. The plates-of-meat alone of the ailments giving me any hassle. So this was good! This evacuation was more substantial.

Whoopsie2 But, I lost a lot of Crimson red blood via Harold’s Haemorrhoids. At least I hope it was from them. Cleaned up and made my way to the kitchen, where I carried out the Health Checks.

2Tue03

2Tue02abI was pleased to see that the weight had come down, even if it was by the pitifullest amount.

Then, made a potent brew of Assam tea. I’ve taken to this Assam tea in the mornings lately.

Took the medications, leaving out the Dia-Limit capsule today.

The mind seemed to have lost its awakening fixation over my anxieties. The computer on, and I started to create this post.

I had a perusal of the WordPress reader next.

2Tue04Then began to update the Monday diary. Got it done and posted off.

The rain is coming down now.

0430hrs: Had to press on with the page top graphic creations for the Inchcock Today drafts.

0815hrs: Finally got the graphics done. Now to make up the blueprints. I’ll make another mug of 2Tue05tea first.

The weather still a bit wet, but it is getting lighter now, and the skies are less dark and dank looking.

Oh, you can take it, that wee-wees will be painfully performed at regular, frequent visits for the rest of the day. Haha”

0829hrs: Started making the drafts up.

 Finished the mat 1005hrs.

Whoopsie2 Workmen or Herbert upstairs, clanging and tapping away throughout the drafting session, again. Makes it hard to concentrate.

But of course, I am not complaining, just mentioning it. No point in my risking getting another telling-off, thrown out of the flat or sneered at from the Nottingham City Homes Mangement for my quoting the truth about the noises. As the Obergruppenfurheress Management, told me; “He is doing nothing wrong, just following his hobby of model making, and I’ll have to put up with it.” I don’t want to lose my home. Oh heck, I forgot there that I was told not to put any conversations I have with any Nottingham City Homes Management, employees, representative or agent on my blog. Sorry about that, I’ll cross it off.

I’ll make another brew of tea, methinks.

The rain has stopped now, the sun’s trying to come out.

Whoopsie2 I think I might be having some furuncular ailments coming on. An odd itch at the top inside of the leg, and when I went to scratch it, it didn’t half hurt. A boil or carbuncle type pain methinks. Tsk!

1515hrs: I got the drafts updated and ready for use. A long slog this job was.

I went on to Facebook for a while.

Went on WordPress reader section.

Health Checks carried out, medications taken.

Getting tired mentally now.

Then I had a look at the car-crash videos on YouTube.

2Tue26I had BBQ flavoured mackerel, Surimi sticks, chips, gherkins, peas and tomatoes tonight.

A decent flavoured effort, I gave it an 8.2/10 Taste-Rating. Hehe!

The fatigue overcame me.

I managed to get the washing up done, do the last checks and medication taking, and got down in the £300 second-hand recliner.

But again, sleep took its time in coming, despite my feeling drained. That dang brain was fretting away! Tsk!
