Welsh: Dydd Gwener 26 Gorffennaf 2019

01:30hrs. I stirred, with a limited degree of enthusiasm lingering, and desperately waiting for some concentration and logicality to join me. I gave up, anticipating that some form of cogency or other, may arrive later. The need for a wee-wee came, and the grey bucket at the side of the £300, second-hand, c1968, gungy-beige coloured, tatty recliner, was utilised. A sad affair, a WYSAO (Weak-Yet-Spraying-All-Over) wee-wee.

5Fri003a

The right leg, had a few more tiny blotches and spots, some almost pretty new papsules. The ankle-ulcer seemed to be desirous of erupting again, judging by the newish looking orangey-red centre of it showing up. The lumps and bone bulges had changed shape a bit. It was far skinnier than it has been for a while, much thinner than the left leg.

My balance was good this morning, mainly because the right leg was not interested in doing any of its Hokey-Cokey and Stomping dancing. I was very grateful for this! The fingers were in an electric-touch-jumping mode, though! (Bad!) The shoulder was in shake & nudge way, but the hand and arm were taking a breather for me, which I hoped would mean less dropping and losing grip on and of stuff, For now anyway. Overall, in the Neurotmesis, Axonotmesis, Diabetic Polyneuropathy, and Peripheral Neuralgia areas, things were not too bad. (Give them time, they’ll soon start again, Hehehe!)

Writing this, reminded, me to check on the dates of the appointments with Mr Adamczyk and Dr Nishapuri.

5Fri004Off to the kitchen, put the kettle on, and got the handwashing onto the drying frame.

The HC results surprised me at the near-perfect results. I am no medical expert by any stretch of the imagination, but after two days of missed beta-blockers, I expected some change in the readings, but not so. Brilliant… I think. Hehe!

With the medications, I wasn’t sure if I should take another Senna or not; after taking the Movicol last night, and another this morning. No sooner had I thought, “I’ll see how the Porcelain Throne session goes later” than I needed to visit the wet room for a heavy-duty evacuation. With a certain amount of trepidation, I settled on the throne, and reached for the crossword book – but did not have time to use it! The activity began almost immediately. The same pain as usual (7/10), but the motions began far quicker than of late, and took less time, thus, less agony! Oh, good! A sanguinary affair, mind. After thinking and pondering, I decided not to swallow a Senna, but have another Movicol this afternoon. (If I remember too!)

I made another brew, then started updating the miserable starting, and humorous ending Thursday post. After checking links, I got it sent off to WordPress and emailed.

With all the hassle I’ve had over the prescriptions, I had got behind with the Facebooking. So, I had a go at catching up. I spent a few hours on the TFZer pages, then made a fresh brew and went to check the emails.

Accifauxpas GCWD 120.60.0a I started the ablutionalisationing. I had an excellent clean-up and an enjoyable shower. Three little cuts when shaving. Stubbed the toe against the WC seat-riser’s metal leg, and clouted my elbow against the hand-rail, when I bent down to pick up the tablet of soap I had dropped. The nerve-end problem affected right-hand, is getting more and more weak, ham-fisted and maladroit. I have a5Fri006 large jar of pickled mushrooms in the fridge, but can’t open it! I’ve tried the rubber-gripper thing, but I can’t manage it. Humph!

I put the long socks on this morning. For the comfort, they are snug and cool-wearing, although it might not look it. If nothing else, they cover-up the potmarks and injuries. Hehe!

5Fri005I just had to take this photograph of the clouds outside, it was was attractive and beautiful. To me, anyway. It looked a little like it might rain. So, I checked on Google to see what the forecast was for today.

A wet week for we Nottinghamian’s?

5Fri007a

I took the bags and put them down the waste chute, and waited at the lift lobby for what seemed an eternity, for one to arrived. One elevator on the 7th floor for over ten-minutes. But the other eventually came, with plenty of people who had the same or similar wait getting on, on the way down. Cindy and Eric, from the fifteenth floor, had a heck of a job getting down!

2Tue11a

It was cooler when I got outside, but nothing like cold.

I hobbled down to the bus stop. I gang of residents in attendance, and more joined us. There were plenty of chinwagging going on. When Malcolm arrived with his grandkids in toe, galavanting all around, it livened things up a little. Ah, the energy of youth!

The City-bound bus arrived first, and about six of our gang got on. When the Bestwood L9 came, the clan allowed me on first! I settled in a side-saddle seat, with trolley folded. And had the pleasure of greeting the gang as they got on. Another natter on the way down the hill. Caroline was on the bus too. She dropped off at the Daybrook Sainsbury’s shop. She told she had had an invite to the opening of the Winwood Court ceremony. TV and Radio Nottingham, and photographers from the local rag would also be there! I was going to have a walk around with Mary, but she got off first in Arnold, but she was well gone by the time I got off the bus.

5Fri007So, I went into the Asda (Walmart) same as yesterday. I could not carry everything in one trip. Poor old thing! I got some more of the bacon-juice baked chips, a 3-pack of custard and fruit pots, and some more rice on special offer. Oh, and some nibbles for the Social hand-outs. I could not see any of the Gorilla tapes. I spent too long searching, and by the time I struggled, as others were doing, at the self serve tills, which played-up on everyone, I paid and got out, I had to go as fast as I could to the bus stop in time.

5Fri007aThe L9 arrived about two minutes later! Phew!

The bus was well packed and extremely noisy on the way home. Which meant I could not eavesdrop on any conversations. Hahaha!

Angie, Roy and Betty got on in Sherwood.

I was soon back home. Got the bits of food away, got drink out of the fridge, and began to update this post.

WD 120.60.0 Later on, I felt the summoning to the Porcelain Throne. (Ah, is the Movicol working?) Off to the wet room, in hopes high for a much better evacuation session. Mmm, no luck, rock-solid, only wind escaped?

5Fri23Got the nosh cooking. I emptied the ‘Soulfood’ ready-made vegetarian meal, into a saucepan, and added the last of the fresh pod peas, and some halved mini-tomatoes. As in this photograph on the right.

Then added some black-bean cooking sauce and gave it a good stir. (I think the bean-sauce makes it less hot) I can’t take chilli that is too volatile. Put it on a low heat setting, and as I pottered about doing the hand-washing, kept an eye on it, with plenty of stirring every so often.

5Fri22aGot it served up and enjoyed it. Too much bread (Sliced Milk Roll) was eaten with it. (Guilty Mode Adopted) By gum, it was tasty!

I got some extra bread to have with it. A lemon curd yoghourt, followed by a bag of Balsamic Vinegar crisps, an iced sucker was consumed afterwards, as well! (Guilty Mode Continuation)

I called at Josie’s to see when she wanted her nosh this week, Saturday or Sunday. But no answer.

As I settled down in the rickety, c1968, second-hand recliner, from nowhere, came a massive feeling of depression. Why I don’t know, but I could not help but search the mind to find the cause. Reasoning, that it is the mind that holds the emotion, thus the reason for it. Surely? No success, a blackness that made it difficult to nod off overcame me.

I did get to sleep eventually. Slept right through. And woke a different person, the brain in my usual answer and solution-seeking, and over-active mode; in desperate need of the Porcelain Throne.

TTFN each!
