Zulu: NgoMsombuluko 22 kuJulayi 2019

I woke at 00:30hrs, while considering whether to gt up or not, and finding I did not need a wee-wee, I fell asleep again. 02:50hrs. Rewoke, and almost perkily set about freeing my excessively, inordinately, unduly, unnecessarily, unreasonably, absurdly crassulent body, from the warming comforting grasp of the £300, second-hand, rickety, c1968, sometimes working, cruddy beige coloured, dingy, near-dilapidated recliner.

WD0.0.128 By Gawd it was cold. Then I realised I had left the unwanted hard-work new balcony door wide open overnight! Brrr! So I grabbed the walking stick and went to close it ASAP.

By the time I had done the few paces back to the chair, a wee-wee was needed. Amazingly, I found the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket) totally empty! But it wasn’t for long. A UWTWW (Unwilling-Weak-Trickling-Wee-Wee) saw to that. I got off to the kitchen, where I rinsed and hung up hand washing that had been soaking overnight in the bowl.

There was no dancing from the leg at all, and only the odd short ones from the other limbs. I got the medications imbibed, and did the health checks: Systolic 155, Diastolic 55, Pulse 85, Temperature 34.9°c. Then I had another wee-wee, and what a change again, it was of a PSAOS (Powerfull-Spraying-All-Over-Showering) type.

WD0.0.128 I had an early morning visit from Dizzy Dennis that shook me up a bit, got me somewhat nervous. I had to stop and sit down for fear of going over. But it continued for a long time.

I set about doing the updating of the Sunday post. Which took less time than it has for ages, with the hand and fingers, being calm at this time. I got it finished after a couple of hours and went to make a brew.

Unfortunately, Dizzy Dennis returned1Mon02.

I got sat down in the recliner while things eased off. Taking the opportunity to take a photograph of the pins that were upon the chair. They had lost a lot of the fluid retention, but not any of the pot-marks and papsules, etc. but did appear a lot less inflamed and swollen.

As I was making a start on the day’s blog, well!

I went on the Electoral Confirmation site, to fill in my details. A note said it would take between 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Hahahahahaha! Not with Mr Fries internet and the Axonotmesis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Nitrofurantoin Neurotmesis playing up! I didn’t really check how long it took, but it was over an hour! Grumph!

1Mon07aWDA 0.0.128 I did the ablutionalisational duties next. I ended up avoiding any of the toe-stubbings, came through the daily battle with the Sock-Glide unharmed as well. But I did accrue two little nicks when shaving.

The hand and arm both started dancing the Flamingo or Fandango at the wrong time for me. Grumph!

1Mon06Also, I spotted the newly appeared spots, papsule, bruises, and pockmarks on the ever-increasing in size again, stomach! Oy Vay!

The long bruise, in the shape of an arc, was unusual. Not the foggiest idea where, how or when I got this?

1Mon03But, the pins, still one slightly bigger than the other. However, both had lost a lot of fluid retention. They both looked a little anaemic. But, the scars, bruises, papsules etcetera, seemed much calmer this morning. The dysaesthesia is no better, I managed to drop a razor, a bottle of antiseptic and the bleach!

Later on, I took some photographs from the balcony, the one with the finger-trapping and flesh-eating metal spring-clip opener. Haha!

I still don’t know if I can get out to the doctors today. Will the INR nurse be arriving today? We have a lot of intercoms not working – is this the case with mine? This has been going on for over a week now, I need to find out what’s what! I’m getting a tad distraught and antsy, again. I’ll nip to see if Deana is in, and ask her to call the Doctor for me. If so, I can make an appointment to see the Doctor and for the CHD checks at the same time… I hope! Overwise it will mean me having to go out to the surgery and hope I don’t miss the nurse! I had a look at my intercom, it showed a red light on Missed Calls and the Do Not Disturb! Doing its own thing now! Oh, I am getting testy now!

I decided to go to the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights, Generaloberstesses Wardens Temporary HQ. WC, Holding cells. Rumourmongering Clinic. Sarcasm & Insult distribution area. Tenants Socialisationalistical Area. Telling Inchcock off Zone. Crockery and pottery to be stolen from the location. The weekend out-of-date sales area, and residents porta-cabin. In the hope to catch Obergruppenführeress and Hustle Model Deana or Obersturmführeress and Catwalk Model Warden Julie, and ask if they can call the surgery for me to help sort out my problems for me. If they are not available, I come back to the flat and get things ready to catch a bus down into Sherwood and have a walk into Carrington and see then at the surgery.

I met Chrissie on her way home near the lifts as I got out. She warned me that the wind was terrible out there!

WD0.0.128 I walked down to the shed. The Wardens were both out doing their jobs in the flats. So were not available. A chap, one of the assessors whatever in the hut, said he would tell Deana I wanted her when she returns. I had a little moan about my situation and frustration. And walked back to the apartment. Got the bus pass and back out again to go to the surgery.

1Mon09I took a photo of some rather appealing yellow wildflowers en route, in Chestnut Walk.  Luckily for me (very much so).

I spotted Deana and Julie meeting up, as they returned to the cabin ahead of me.

Deana was on her mobile. Julie asked me what was up, and am I alright. I explained, in brief, the problems and we went into the office. Dean joined us, and I fear I may have waffled on a bit, about how the medical people don’t seem to realise my problems. No sooner had I told her, my shoulder first, then the leg and arm began dancing. It was embarrassing, but at last, someone has seen what it’s like for me to cope with the peripheral neuralgia problems.

The gal set about calling the surgery straight away. Deana made an appointment for the CHD Tests and handed me the phone to tell the receptionist about my other problems, the lack of IRN blood test nurse calling, and my not daring go out in case she does. Also, she may have called, and I didn’t know because the new intercom system is not working correctly. I think I confused the woman on the other end of the line, cause I could not hear what she was saying, and Deana took over to explain a lot clearer than I was doing. The result was that Leutnant Untersturmführeress and Part-time actress Deana, got me sorted out with the following results:

1Mon11

  • The CHD Health Check was booked for Monday 5th August at 09:00hrs
  • The appointment to see Dr Vindla, with it being urgent, was made for 29th July.
  • The shortage of Beta-blockers will mean a prescription will be sent to the Carrington Chemist. Deana at the time called the chemist and ascertained that the Bisoprol will be delivered on Wednesday, by the pharmacist.
  • And the INR nurse would be arranged. Dean asked that I be informed of when this will be as soon as possible!

I much appreciated this help. And said so!

A little more spirited now, I left to go back to the flat. Having a little chinwag with some tenants who were waiting at the bus stop. Which was enjoyable for me.

When I got home, without needing a wee-wee! – I set about putting all the appointments on my Google Diary. Took me a while.

Then made an order up for next weeks delivery.

Next, I got on with updating this blog. And realised I’d given the wrong name for the beta-blockers. So I went back to the hut, and Deana said it didn’t matter.

Back to the flea-pit, and got the nosh sorted out.

1Mon34Polish pork, fresh peas, mushrooms, gherkins, tomatoes, and Maris Piper chips. Likely that the chips (fries) were some of the worst I have ever tasted! Fatty and bland!

Still, the Polish pork evened-out the taste-rating score, of 6.9/10.

Washed up and took the medications.

I watched some TV. Zzzz!
