Bad day again. Old Pains back. Catheter crippling Little Inchie. making his Fungal Lesion bleed again. The Mystery Rib Pains started again! Dizzy Dennis, balance shot to pieces, concentration not available. Eyes worse, the six weeks of Trotsky Terence in command of the Porcelain Visits seems to have come to an abrupt end.

I’ve not passed from the rear end all day! Just burnt my knee on the oven shelf while putting the food in the oven; during a most inappropriately timed Neuropathy Pete leg dance. Can’t find my mobile. send the top strap on the day catheter had fallen off – used sellotape. Not feeling too great. Stuffed painkillers down my throat all day.

Got up late, still well behind with the sleep.

Within half an hour of taking off the night bag, what bit of urines had flowed, was looking decidedly bloody again!
Still, you don’t like to complain, does yer.

Morning views.
I was trying to catch the seagulls but didn’t so too well.

.

Mid-morning, tried again to get a photo
of the gulls.
They were Quick – especially when they find a rat
or squirrel for lunch. Then the fighting
between them begins.

The blood flowed again in the evening.

Better get summat to eat. I’ve revived the burnt
chilli, and added a can of beans; it should do me.

Arrived to medicate me and get the detached from the & .
She got the socks on my feet for me. We had a mini-nattering session, with laughs included. Good Medicine, Laughter Thanked her, and off she trotted, saying hose will see me later.

♫ Food, Glorious Food ♫ Prepared and served up

I resuscitated the leftover chilli from last night and added a can of cheap baked beans to it and four ersatz sausages, and some tomato passata. Some BBQ sauces were stirred into the mix, and it tasted grand. I had the last two cobs, no bread left now.
I’ve ordered some cobs from Iceland that are on offer. Sliced wholemeal with six in a bag, and three bags for ÂŁ3, also 2×4 Wheatmeal long cobs. I reckon there will be room in the freezer to store them for longer.
Of course, Iceland is infamously known for their ‘None-In-Stock’ notifications on bread lines; that’s why I’ve ordered two types. But only temporarily. I’ll find out in the morning if they arrive or not.

“May you go forth and have fun festivities frequently!”

I got away with it; no harm done!

I’m hoping that a  supply of a new , or even a week’s supply, will arrive today. Single-use only the night catheters, the day ones for seven days, I think. But it’s 17:15 hours already. Maybe one or some has gone to the Meridian office and will be brought by a night carer to fit for me? My fingers are crossed on that!

A prayer to get the last week’s two bags of laundry done as well. A talk with Mr G about the possibility of getting the bleeding and pain stopped from . My fingers are crossed on that one as well!

The immediate concern is over my Kryptonite – Sleep!
Two hours was all I got last night – and no chance of catching up on it presented itself today. Dependent on whether or not I can get a or not is vital! If perchance, one doesn’t arrive (Albeit the chances are it will), I’m going to be in dire straits, up the creek without a paddle, up a gum tree, in the soup, harassed, a bag of nerves, and a very tired & frustrated old chap!

And to think, when I met the doctor yesterday to copy for the DNR option, she asked if I’d sooner die at home or in a hospital?
If she knew about the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the ghosts, wraiths, spectres, cacodemons, apparitions, and other grotesqueries that haunt the hallways and lobbies, searching for Inchcock; to curse with bad luck, create ambiguities, abstrucities, perplexities, misfortunes and botherations, to scare. worry and confuse me; she’d not have asked me in the first place. Hehehe!

Anyroad, another getting nothing done day here in Del Trotter Towers flats.
Fair enough, there was the usual bleeding, confusionalitis, frustrations and possibly an increase in moments of self-loathing. But I’m too tired to go into them at this moment. Here is the pathetic Inchie Today Diary.

Misty morning

Computer problems

No idea why I took these two?

Ah, fancy that…
The Famously Crap Internet is down…

Not weeing much?

20:20hrs now.
Tired.
I’ve put a meal in the heated oven.
Worried about getting a Hopefully, it will come.
And some really needed catch-up sleep.

Back later.
Likely in the morning.
Unless I have to stay awake…
Humph!

Late Morning Update

Carer Richard Arrived, unfortunately, without any of the bags, so another sleep-depriving night to get through. Still, as it happened, it worked out well tonight. (It was a jumping awake every few minutes session and each time I checked on the . I emptied it only three times.)

Carer Richard Got the medications sorted, and we had a little laugh and nattering session. Shame about the lack of a night bag, though. But it’s not Richard’s fault. He did his best. As I mentioned above, it worked out okay as it happens. I think the storage in the bladder caused the bleeding in the urine again. I reheated the meal and made it crusty line top. Mmm!

♫ Food, Glorious Food ♫

A Spiffing ready-made meal.
Potatoes, lardons, with BBQ sauces and some
Milk Roll bread. I dropped the flipping pot
of soya lemon yoghourt, and it landed in the
waste bin and burst open. I just covered it
with kitchen towels. Fell in the right place?

Got the dishes washed, and I took this picture of the
evening view. Not a good one, but still.

Keep Safe, Each!

Having got to kip so late last night, I resisted getting up every time the jumping awake occurred… but when I needed to get up… Zzzz!
Thus, it was gone at 07:00hrs when I rose, and that was reluctantly. The first thing needed was to take off the .
Which was containing some urine that looked like there might be some blood in it, judging by the colour. However, my having protanopia (Colour-Blindness to reds), you can decide for me, please.

Then I detached the , and emptied and packed it up for disposal. And the need for the arose. So, I meandered to the wet room.

I found a spoon used last night in the dressing gown pocket. How and why it was in there… I don’t know. But it was. An uncomfortably messy, Trotsky Terence-controlled, gooey splattery session again. still, cleaning it up was not as painful as usual.

I went into the kitchenette and got the kettle on.

Taking this photo while waiting for the kettle to boil. Before it did, I had to nip back again for more activities.
, as it was filling up a bit urgently.

With it being such a small day bag, the smallest ever used; I was concerned that if I failed to check it, an acci-whoop could well happen, and the overfilled bag may burst?

The Ocado order I believed I’d slotted for next Tuesday – arrived!
I am!

I got a call from Meridian’s Tina, asking me to ask if the Urology nurse arrived for her to call Tina. I said I would, and I noted it on the pad.

But it was a treat that I will still eat!
Hahaha!

.
I’m so glad I emptied the part filled now. The bag was really heavy and stretched.

The Urology Nurse arrived.
I told her of the terrible pains and bleeding I was having from Little Inchie. She took a look and was surprised at the amount of blood and puss. She set about cleaning it up. Then adjusted the tubing and clips on the for me. Ah, so much less painful now! I thanked her.
I assumed she had brought some new s for me. She reminded me to keep drinking and then ran Tina. Who came up to talk to the nurse. I could not hear what they were speaking about, though. But I assumed it was about the supply of the bags.
The nurse departed with my thanks.
Tina made me a mug of tea. Then she departed with my thanks.

I took this picture and then carried on doing yesterday’s blog.

As the night began to fall…

I took this photo.

arrived. Gave me the evening medications, and we had a little natter and laugh.

Back on the computing lark.

I thought I heard knocking on the door and found on the floor underneath the letterbox some Ibuprofen and Paracetamol.
I think they were from Jenny. I must ring to thank her.

Arrived, theoretically, to attach the to the … But she discovered that we had no night pouches that we could use!!!
I had no choice other than accept it and stay up awake all night. I believe there is no way the day bag is big enough to cope with all the night wee-weeing without bursting.
Can I stay awake, though? This is going to be an unwanted stressful struggle I could do without!

Can I ever be free of worries?
I suppose not?

Evening night shot from the kitchen window.

With staying up late, I’d lost any sense of time.
And thoughtlessly rang Jenny to thank her for the tablets she’s kindly posted through the letterbox for me earlier.

♫ Food, Glorious Food! ♫

Worra meal!
Taste rating: 8/10

In mu efforts to stay awake and monitor the tiny day bag, I made many pots of tea, nibbled an unhealthy amount of Cheesy Curls and Vinegar flavoured Quavers, and even sat on the end of the ÂŁ300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, crumb containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner, so if I did nod off, hate jolt of slipping off the chair should wake me. It didn’t work!

I fell asleep; I’d estimate at 04:00hrs.
Woke up at 06:00hrs, and I had to empty the tiny catheter bag.

Another day of cock-ups, got through!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

This morning’s awakening tales may be the longest bit in the diary.
Horrendous is the word, methinks!

I stirred back into pretend life early; I think it was.

The moment I learnt forward to have a peep at the overnight catheter pouch in the bucket – the started off!

.
The urine looked a smidge, like it had blood in it.
I removed the night pouch, gathered the bowl and went to pack away the used bag, visit the Porcelain Throne, and have a clean-up…

.
Oh, Heckithump! . The day bag appeared to have clod specs on it. I made sure it wasn’t something stuck to the outside of the pouch… Nope! They were inside! Then I deposited some evacuated waste from the rear end…
.
BACK TO SQUARE ONE AGAIN!

Not only was Little Inchy bleeding from the tubing now the rear end was bloodied as well. Just as it was four weeks ago when I first realised I had a problem with the urine infection, and ended up at the Queens Medical A&E and the for two days.
Still, no panic yet. I’m seeing the Doctor in the morning. Initially to get advice on what the has decided needs doing, and have told the Doctor about my condition.
It’s all go here, with nothing happening… apart from being in pain for four weeks without any break. You don’t like to complain, do yer?

.
I’m not sure why I took this picture.

.
These poor-quality shots were taken.
.
Tried this one again…
.
Ah, well, a little better, mayhap.

Messy kitchen.
Messy kitchen with the light switched on.

When called, the catheter day bag, after being emptied half an hour before, was at bursting point! It’s getting that red tinge to it again it.

Yet three hours later, this is all it had amassed?
Getting confusing this is…

I made an order with Ocado. As I told on his next call,
I took my time and made sure I ordered it for the right day this time… A temporary We’ll see?

Getting a little hungry now as the light begins to fade.

As I settled to get the early meal, having abandoned blogging.
I (Well, Little Inchie too!) was just in so much pain; tired and knowing I had the appointment in the morning, was determined to get the best proper session possible done. And bravely (Haha!) opted to have a good shower, despite .
But first, the meal… I took a bite of one of the potato-rostis and realised that the dark centre blotches on each one were not BBQ sauce at all!. I spat out the spud. And put the rest in the bin straight away. Which sort of ruined the feast completely!
After eating what was left, a . I got the packaging from the waste bin and used the magnifying glass to find and see the use-by date… Ahem! Oh, dearie me!

The session went wellish… apart from…
â‘  Another mini-chunk was broken of a bicuspid.
② Three cuts shaving…

⑤ That cost me half an hour putting right… well…

, No , or attacks! I was also free of routines! , the, were kind to me, too! only toyed with me for a minute or two. And ‘s visit was the shortest ever! No shower power box head-butting, and NO TUMBLES!
So, overall, I reckon I got off lightly this morning! Erm, I mean tonight!

Carer Richard Arrived as I was finishing getting dressed and preparing things to take with me to the doctor’s visit. He got the medications given to me and to use attached the day pouch. Adjusting the loose straps for me. Bless him!
He checked the taps and cooker, and all were okay.
The lad was very tired and swearing a lot. Not that this stops him from caring for me in detail: He reminded me to ring for a taxi to get to the surgery in the morning. This lad is a good ‘un!
I hobbled, night bag and bowl in hand, stick in the other to the door with him. Said our fare-thee-wells, and I locked the door.

Back in the c1966. charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner. Where with the tubing hanging off of my leg, the pouches feeling so cold for some reason, and the leak bowl in position – I had a few moments of indecision; call it wavering, hesitancy, vacillation, irresolution or doubtfulness regarding whether to catch the bus or to order a taxi in the morning. ‘Dithering commenced’.

I wanted to walk, but I’ve not been out on a walk for ages… a chance to prove I can still do it, mayhap? I soon realised that would be too much – then thought about getting the bus down the hill into Sherwood and busing it to Carrington… on the other hand, if I felt okay, I could walk it along Mansfield Road up the hill and down into Carrington. I’ll have the three-wheeled walker with me, so it could work? Or should I use the telephone number that Richard found for me and call a hire car? For some unfathomable reason, this was playing on my mind for hours?

I nearly forgot the evening sunset shot!

Erm… Evening all!

Pandemonium! Everything delaying, interfering and stopping things from getting done. Hence the worst Diary ever. I did get the top bit done, though. And that took until 13:00hrs! Sorry!

The Catheter tubing was causing bleeding again from little Inchies fungal lesion. The Mystery stabbing pains have persisted,  wearing me down

Fait dollop of wee in the night catheter.

Terrible morning view photo.

The light bulb needed changing.
I couldn’t get up the step ladder…
Tall Carer assisted!

Ah, that’s better. Thank you.

Carer Richard’s donated minder whiteboard.
No lift for Monday is available.
The taxi, I suppose?

Cor, the little day catheter bag filled up quickly.

An hour later, again!

Then the wee-weeing stopped?

Evening meal, not bad.
Flavour Rating: 7/10.

Followed by a pot of porridge.
A drop of raspberry syrup was added.

Woken by Carer Carole-Anne.
Who gave the painkillers to me.
And added the night bag to the catheter.
Earlier, Carer Kara tried to get me logged back onto
Internet banking. It wouldn’t let us. She’d not got much time and will try again later. Bless ’em. ♥

Could I get back to sleep?
Well, no, not for ages.
TSK!

Sorry not much on this blog.
Time is so precious…
But, all the medicationings…
Catheter changing and emptying…
Even getting dressed and washed is time-consuming nowadays.
Cooking with one hand and trying to use the walking stick…
The wearying Mystery Rib Pains…
And my wandering stubborn brain…
Fretting and worrying away…

What a day. Easy-Link cannot get me to the doctor’s in Monday
Internet Banking farce. Kara tried to help in her own time. Smashing that was so kind of her. Had to phone the bank, with Kara translating what was said. And ran out of time; she had to get to work. Said she’ll try again later to get it sorted. Nothing is getting solved, and I’m spending so much time failing! I’d have been right in the Phoo if it wasn’t for her help.
So, here is a condensed, fact-missing version of Inchie Today, today. Thank heavens for the photos to remind me; too busy to make reminder notes!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –.
Bad night’s sleep.
But the wee-weeing was betterer, more of it!

Morning view.

The front room searched for the missing Nokia.

Carer, First time putting a new catheter in.
working well, new valves confused me at first.

Porcelain Throne. I think that Trotsky Terence is weakening his grip on the evacuationing… had time to have a go at the crossword.

Stripped and got a stand-up wash and shave.
Cut shaving, tooth bleeding, and stubbed my toe on the damned dangerous Sock-Glide Glenda. (Didn’t use her thought) No socks on unless I have to go out. This week coming, I’ve got three medical appointments to go to… So Sock-Glide-Glenda will no doubt have fun injuring me. Haha!

Oh, I left the hot tap running again!

Later, view after the ablutioning, medicationing and dressing.

Computer on, Email from Iceland.
Yes, that;s the order I thought I’d made for next Wednesday.
Pillock!

Iceland Order arrived.

I love those mini roast potatoes. But with them coming so early, had to open the packs and put them in lose to get them in the freezer. Not only that but to get the cheesy potato special offer ready-made meals in, I had to dish some of the stuff already in the freezer to make room!

At least the wee-wee was, I thought, flowing much better.
Until I realised how minuscule the new bag was! Huh! When Kara left. I was little confused with all the lava over the banking and decided to have an early meal. One one the cheesy meals…

Oh, Boy! It was delicious! The best ready-made tasting meal I’ve ever had!
Of course, I added some ersatz lardons and BBQ sauce after it was cooked.
TASTE RATING: 9.5/10!

Oh, the bag is full again.
Is the urine infection clearing? Smile...
Oh, no, it’s a small pouch. I forgot there.

Sunset through the balcony window!

Blimey, that filled up quick!

Carer Kara came to put the night bag on and give me medications.
Medicaitonalised me. Then went to the computer and in five minutes, You should see her fingers go! Hehe! She’d sorted the banking card out, now working, and put the new card on Iceland, Asda & Amazon for me! ♥
What a Wizard! Thanked her muchly.
I would have been struggling to do any of those things on my own. Well, I couldn’t have done it at all!

I finished this blog and got the TV on. New Tricks followed by Hustle on the box. What are the chances of me staying awake? Minimal comes to mind.

Morning Catch-Up

Mystery Photo
Any guesses?
I’ve no idea!

Worked on the computer for a while longer.
Carer Kara had set things up with the leak bowl on the

hand side of the chair for me.

A comfortable set-up. Thanks, Kara!

I watched TV. I Fell asleep, of course.

And this morning, I found these photos while searching for another…

Some old Favourites from years gone by.

A hectic day. Medicationalistically, that is!
I shall reveal only the important & humorous stuff, as time is already running out. (Well, that’s the plan anyway) but I have been known to waffle on. Hehe!
I’ve dealt with the pretty, kind Fall Team’s Lisa.
The Doctor’s Surgery… twice…
The Urology Hospital.
Made two more medical appointments given me.
And failed to arrange lifts… yet!

Here we go…

After another night of sleep-wake, sleep-wake, and sleep-wake… I decided to get up around 05:00hrs – fell back asleep, and was woken by Chiming from the doorbell, and in walked my mate and Carer Richard.
The moment I woke and stretched the one leg on the chair (The other had the catheter on it and needed to be kept off of the chair so as not to trap the tubing), the kicked-
off big-time.
Richard, set about getting detaching, then he , and adjusted the straps on the . Gave me the medications and set up the air-fryer for me
. We had a little chat while he did it.

The was utilised, and then I stripped off (A horrible thought for you, I know), and I got the done. Medicationalisationings next. Then the painful bit of doing the hemerine . Finally, nearly two hours after entering the wet room, I started the task of getting dressed.   This provided the first and of the day.
I was at the complicated stage of using the picker-upperer to get the trousers up over the and the attached accoutrements, and, with its usual crap-timing, a burst out.
I fell against the racking and, almost in slow motion, slid down, hitting my chin on the metal. However, I managed to land on a knee, and it was my left knee; this helped me, along with the walking stick, to get back up onto my feet. Even if it did take GC broken toothme an age to manage it. Also, no damage to the catheter, tubing, bag or straps, either. So it could have been a lot worse. As I was at my smuggest, the teeth started bleeding. It must have been from when I hit my chin on the trolley? A flaming good start to the day! It must have taken me over two hours to complete the , and !!!

Made a brew of Thompson’s Punjana and got the computer going.
An Email from the lovely Lisa from the Falls team had to be answered.
At last, very late in the morning, I made a start on finishing off yesterday’s blog.
Herbert above’s short concert of mechanical clanging was short-lived.
Then the lift men began working again. But they were such a lot less noise than last week. Maybe they were getting to the end of the job or more floors down? Got to be done, though.

I made an Iceland order for next week.
The Pharmacy man rang about next week’s appointment.
Then the doctor’s surgery rang; The Doctor needed me to come and see her. That sounded a little worrying! She told me the appointment is for next Monday at 10:30hrs.
Around 16:00hrs, I rang Easy-Link to try and book a lift there and back, but the lady said I must call back in the morning twixt ten & noon. But will I remember to? If I forget, or can’t get through, they are not open Sat and Sundays… Oh, dearie me!

I spent hours on blogging duties. It’s amazing how many mistakes, errors, memory losses and losing track that a man can make! All without any effort at all.

Here are the photographs from the day:

Pareidolia moment with the clouds.

Logging off now to get summat to eat.

Morning Catch Up

Baked beans with BBQ sauce, bread rolls.
Soya yoghourt & Star dessert.

Eating it, and arrived. Checkedte catheter.
All was well in that department.
Medications and a little chinwag & laugh.

I did eat, though. Flavour 7.5/10.

The Was filling quickly.

Abolitionising has been done, and I got on with the medicationalisationings.
Adjusted the mechanics of the as best I could.
The had been kicking off since waking up, but now she was really giving me some. Argh!

Finally, I got dressed.

Proper frosty out there now.

Did a bit of tidying up in the kitchen to make room for the arrival of the food from Walmart-Asda, although it’s not due for a few hours yet.
Got the waste bags sorted out.

Then, back to the . Messy, still.

Carer Richard arrived. Looking a little unwell to me. A bit worried about him this morning. Not that it stopped him from doing his usual comprehensive welfare checks on me. I showed him the tube that came off of the night bag. Within minutes it was replaced. I told Richard of the appointment with the Medical Monitor at the doctor’s surgery on the 2nd, and a temporary was enjoyed, when I told him I’d got through to the Easy-Lift people and arrange a lift there and back, in fact… it was a

The Walmart Asda Delivery Arrived
I was well-pleased with the driver’s attitude and kindness.
The driver kindly took the food through to the kitchen for me.

He put the food where he could find space; there’s not a lot of that.

Bless him!

They had some Potatoe Rostis in stock today.

And, unlike last week when they had none, so I ordered more than I needed. Cunning eh? They all came!

Mid-afternoon view from the kitchen.

Came to sort out the medications and do the Health & Safety Checks on the taps and cooker. She put my mind to rest about both Catheter Pouches having urine in them; She said that this often happens. Bless her. Then checked the taps and oven. Also moved some of the bottles of water delivered to a safer place for me. Bless her.

Sunsetting view this evening.

Arrived. Gave me the tablets. Told me of an electrical fire in a flat yesterday. All okay; the Fire Brigade apparently were taking photos of inside the flat. No one was hurt. Not sure when it was. Took a waste bag with her as she departed.

SHERWOOD SKIES TONIGHT
THESE WERE TAKEN OVER A PERIOD OF ABOUT HALF AN HOUR.

The dark cloud prompted my love of pareidolia

An animal with fire coming from its mouth? Hehe!

And then, back to looking dark?

Bootiful!

♫ FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD ♫

Potato fries, tomatoes (Bitter Italian [‘The Best’ Asda] Piccolo or something like that), mock mackerel in BBQ Sauce, wholemeal cobs (Buttered), and a pot of cheesecake. Flavour rating 705/10. It would have been an even higher score, but for the Asda Extra-Special Aromatico Piccolo tomatoes (Urgh!).

I had planned to watch a football match, but Sweet Morpheus denied me.
Although I kept waking up every few minutes, then drifting off again.
The moment I moved in the c1966, ÂŁ300 pound, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner, the kicked off. But, of course, it didn’t bother me. Tsk!

Carer Richard Arrived. Richard to the .
Got the medication given to me. We had a little chinwag. And he was off on his rounds. Taking the waste bag
with him for me to the bin.

Zzz!

♫ Oh, what a beautiful morning… ♫ ! The struggle to get the detached caused the to kick off. However, notwithstanding, besides, furthermore, and anyway, the stabbing pains were far less often than they had been for weeks. Fingers Crossed!
Also, as well as, in spite of everything, howbeit, for all that, in spite of everything, the contents of the

were more than it had been for a few days. I must not get too hopeful, knowing my luck. Hehehe!
I shall not desist from drinking the water and keep at it. I do think things might be improving Urine infection-wise, at long last. I must not be a though!
But, my EQ indicates that new worries may arise today. He’s rarely wrong, Humph!
By gum, a crystal clear early morning view was on offer when I went to check on the taps and cooker. All turned off.
.
And got the started. During the hour and a half, it took to get them done, I had to visit the three times! No   this morning, due to my near location to the WC Throne. After these three calls to the , there were only three more up to writing this blog at this point. (17:25hrs). Things were going well!

Finished off the task at hand.
Feeling better than for ages. The far less frequent compared to the previous week!

The recently emptied day catheter pouch was filling up already, and I’d not had anything to drink yet.
.

Carer Richard Arrived. He got the medications sorted out. And told me I’d have to phone the Easy-Link and Doctors myself in future. Fair enough, Warden Deana told me that she could no longer call them for me ages ago. They are all under pressure; bless them.

Then got a phone call from the Doctor’s surgery. Hard to hear what he was saying; I think I was booked in for the Medications Consultation. The man said It would really help if you could bring a carer along with you, as they are dealing with the medications and can answer questions. I mentioned this to a carer, but don’t know if anything can be arranged or what it will cost. But not to fret; I can go on my own; after getting a list of medications from Carer Richard, I think he has a list in the Meridian folder. I just hope I heard things right about times, dates, etc. But I feel I did okay.

I’m going to rush now, or the Carer will come while I’m eating again. Throughout the morning, I tried to get through to Easy-Link, but no chance.

Herbert gave me a few mechanical concertos.
A Carer kindly gave me a few minutes to help with trying to sort out the new bank card, and I got through to Easy link. Arranged a lift for next Thursday, pick-up 08:30hrs, appointment at 90:00hrs.

Tried to get my head around the banking problem, but all the writing on the paperwork and on the card itself was far too small. Try reading with the spyglass, and by the time I got halfway across the page, I’d lost myself. Which sounds a smidge appealing at this moment. Haha!

I grafted away at getting the graphics done on CorelDraw.
Such a slow going.
The time passed like lightning.
Yet when all is said and done, somehow, I was still more content than I had been in a while, now.
Getting through to Easy-Link for once was an achievement. I just hope  I heard everything properly.
I should be feeling sorry for myself now – Cataract making seeing even worse than last week, the waxed-up ear-holes, and the (although they are far less frequent today) should have ensured me nearing a depression But no! Why? I don’t know! But I like it!

I’ll finish of so far quickly, then get summat to eat.
That’ll do me!

The Fog!

Catheter

A photo I took in 3-d mode on the Lumix.
I shan’t bother trying again.

Teatime view (I think it was)

I seemed to have a spurt of success in passing
water this afternoon. Yee-Haa!

Afternoon car park.

At about 20:00hrs, the day bag was filled again.
Spotted it in time to avoid an .

Carer Richard Arrived, we got the medications sorted, and he got the to the contraption on my right leg for me. This new Day pouch is a little smaller than the earlier ones.
Had a little chinwag. I explained about the appointment at the doctor with the Medications Monitor man at Sherrington Park Medical Practice appointment for Thursday, 2nd February at 09:00hrs; I hope I heard everything he said clearly. He was patient with me when I kept asking him to clarify things for me. And I actually got through to Easy-Link, eventually, and booked a lift there and back!
Carer Richard Checked the taps and stove as he departed. He took the waste bag with him. Thanking him as he went. He’s a grand chap.

For once, getting to sleep was a problem, whereas usually, it is staying asleep that bothers me. The were no bother at all. That is until I woke up in the morning – They were bad!

Guess what went out of date? My Marmite!
Can’t read the dates, cataracts, bad eyesight,

I seem to see better in the dark than in daylight?
I’m waffling; I’m a right blatherskite!

Good Night!

Sorry again; lots of hassle and ailments today. Photos mostly.

Jolly Good Morning each… although that was not the case. Hehehe!

Catheter Problems.
Problems.

Caught out too slowly to get to

Morning view, first photo.

Car parking on Chestnut Way

Delivery arriving for someone

The carer, Jodie, tried to ring the Doctors for me.
No answer – She’ll try again later.

Dropped mug of Glengettie.
Luckily not much tea in it.
Started the
going again with the bending down to clean up.

The sun tried to come out for a while.
Knocked the knife box of of the kitchen shelf.
No damage or harm, other than when trying to pick them up.
.

Starting to get dark early today.
Or is it me getting confused?

Where did I put the hearing aids?
Not that it mattered that much, they
were well passed their workable age.
Mind you, so am I. Hehe!

Had a job getting any of the collection of old
spectacles that would help me see as it
got darker. Ended up with a narrow reading
, but they are not working well this time.

Two teatime shots of the sun setting

Getting nosh done, I may return later, or
maybe in the morning..
.
Yes, that seems more likely…
I’m feeling shattered!

Morning: Continued from Monday

I made start eating this great-flavoured nosh.

Carer Richard Arrived as I was tucking into it.
Got the meds sorted. A quick natter of what I cannot recall.

I get a lot of things that I cannot recall lately. Tsk!

Richard  .
I put the pots in the sink, and Richard helped me bag the waste

and took the bags with him as he left. I hobbled with him,
walking stick and night pouch with tubing, to the door
and locked the door after we’d said our farewells.

I . The usual routine, waking up often and falling
back to the land of nod with no bother.
At about 02:30hrs, I woke in a different style than all the others were; I was.
convinced a loud noise had woken me (Could have been me dreaming?)

I struggled up, got the night bag tubing in hand, put the light on, and had a look around the flat in every room. But there were n signs or indications of
anything untoward that may have woken me up?
Was it the Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind?.

Or mayhap Doreen Dementia toying with me?
A Nightmare or dream?
The late meal may have contributed…

Anyway, after I finished the search around, put my Deerstalker on the hook,
the spyglass and torch in the draw. I decided to stay up and get the
done.

Fare Thee Well!
