Inchcock Today: Bleeding from the arm, leg and rear-end. Tsk!

Sunday 29th March 2015

IMG_0033I woke up scratching away at me left arm, left leg and rear end – I didn’t know which was itching worst!

After a few seconds I saw the blood on my hands and fingers that had been scratching away and stopped.

The arm and leg I put some antiseptic cream on – but it still it didn’t stop the bleeding on the arm and it began hurting as opposed to stinging. It looked to me like the lesion was caused by cracking skin?

A bit worried with this, so I tried a spot of Betamethasone cortisoid cream I had left over from me GUM clinic prescription left on the lesion and after a few minutes the blood stopped flowing. It seemed to weep water for a good while after, then seemed to stop, still hurting and itching? Sore now, more than hurting.

The leg was just a tiny scratch where I think I’d been scratching away at it.

The rear end was not the haemorrhoids but on me left cheek – that seemed to be only a drop of blood but I could feel the swelling?

Oh dear, what next I ask missen? I didn’t answer Hehe!

Eventually I nodded off around 0300 and woke around 1000hrs.

WC’d: Feeling pretty crap – now the angina was getting in on the act too – huh!

Too late to take me morning medications – but I did take just the beta-blocker.

0701Went down and put kettle on and made a flask – took a photo of the dismal wet windy weather outside.

I assessed me new ailments (The arm leg and bum). I couldn’t even find the lesion on the leg, like magic it had disappeared? The bum had healed (the piles were tender). As for the arm lesion, I must have been scratching at it in me sleep again, sore tender but not bleeding healed up, scratch-marks swollen made it looked a tad rough.

Not feeling too good really – not going to risk any walking today as when I came up the stairs with me flask I had a dizzy-spell that was not nice and lingered a fair while.

I think that the getting wet yesterday might not have help. Tsk!

(Poor old chap) Hehe.

Laptop on.

Flipping Coreldraw9 crashed again – Gnash!.

Did some WordPress perusing – then tried to concentrate on doing a post – not easy today.

Would you believe… I just sneezed and the pulled intercostal muscle has started stinging again now. What a hogwash start to the day… but it will get better I’m sure… Hopeful

Just some days I can easily get depressed – this is one. Hehehe!

IMG_0033The rains stopped now, but the winds still high and the clouds are moving about with great rapidity.

I must remember to pick up me INR record sheet and bus-pass tomorrow morning before going out.

I’m off to the haematology department in the Queens Medical, and meeting brother-in-law Pete in town as he’s got to go for some x-rays too.

Fatigued again now, and I haven’t done owt but computer related stuff all day.

Tsk!

Inchcock Today: Saturday 6th December 2014

Saturday 6th December 2014

06St0001Blooming cold last night…brrrr!

Gordon Bennett -6ºC  23ºF this morning!

Slept in late, feeling lackadaisical.

WC.

Tried in vain to remember the dreams I knew I’d had and not enjoyed. Can’t even remember bits of any, just the emotions frustration, fear and failing?

Made cuppa and took medications later than I should have – but the sleeping late prevented me from doing it on time – not sleeping like. Taking me medication on time… which I didn’t.

WC.

Facebooked for hours and enjoyed it too making graphics while Coreldraw9 still lets me.

Gone ten when I got up and stirred meself into lethargy (Hehe).

Must get some cheapo replacement headphones to replace the ones I sat on and broke yesterday. (Tsk!)

Taking camera with me (If I remember too) to take some photos on m wanderings.

WC.

Has a good scrub up, teggies and shave applied me pain-gel, Haemorrhoid creams, a quick squirt of ‘Brute’ and checked on ‘Little Inchy’ – no blood that’s good, but the poor little mite was sore and tender-ended.

06St001

Still frozen at 1130hrs!

Long-Johns on today and long woollen socks.

Got my stuff together and set off on me walk into town.

As I left the house, bearing in mind it was by now well gone 1130hrs and the sun had been shining for a while although still bitterly cold, I took a picture of the car parked outside the flea-pit with its windscreen still well frozen over with ice!

06St002

So pretty – but blooming cold!

Rang Sister Jane en-route to see how they are. Busy as usual dining out, Shows to visit, Meetings to attend etc.

As I was nearing the college on Mansfield Road I thought how wonderful the sun and sky looked despite the bitter cold and took a photo of it.

I walked through the bus-station into the Intu Victoria Shopping Centre top level.

06St003

Vic Centre Tree

Very busy as to be expected… but the ambience was not good, many sad irritable and angry looks on people’s faces.

I plodded through to the end out and down to the Wilko shop below to see if they had any headphones I might purchase.

They had a decent range to choice from, not that I was any the wiser for reading the instructions on the packets like.

06St005

CPO Checking on rogue-traders

So I bought the cheapest one with in-the-ear plugs.

I then walked down Clinton Street, where the police had a CPO on duty chatting to a stallholder. I assume she was there to keep an eye on the rogue street traders that have been in the local news.

Took a photo of both ways as I joined Clinton Street, a decent crowd of irritable, spitting, swearing Nottinghomians.

06St006

Broad Marsh Centre

Made my way through to the Intu Broad Marsh Shopping Centre via Bridlesmith Gate. I wanted to take a photo of the gallery there but the crowds were too dense. (If you see what I mean? Hehe)

As I got of the escalator I saw a man pulling a puppy on a lead that couldn’t keep up with him due to the polished flooring and he kept yanking the lead making the dog yelp and was swearing at it. I called out to him without thinking but he just ignored me. I couldn’t keep up with him.

06St008

Winter Wonderland

06St10

Winter Wonderland

06St009

Winter Wonderland

Bothered me that did, so much for Christmas Spirit?

I hobbled into the 99p shop and had a wander round, coming across some headphones of the same make and model of those I’d just paid £1.89 for at Wilko. So I got a pair, along with some behind the ear ones at the same price.

Some nibbles for the nurses on Monday, and then walked to the end of the centre and put and into town.

Many street artists were present again including near to C&A the Salvation Army had a group of six belting out the Christmas tunes.

Very good they were too.

So I dropped a £2 coin in a blokes collection pot.

I then walked into the City Centre to take some photographs of the Winter Wonderland Fayre and ice-rink. It was very busy.

No one else seemed to notice the shop-lifters being taken out from Primark to the police car.

The hot food stalls were doing well enough.

Even the horse ride had plenty of folk on it.

06St007

Somewhere in the crowds is the little Salvation Army band playing away

The ice-rink was full as well.

Plenty of fallers to see while I was trying to take a photo.

I fought me way through the crowds and escaped the crush without injury and made my was up King Street towards the bus-stop.

06St11

Upbeat Jazz

As I turned the corner a group of four foreign looking chappies were giving us a bit of upbeat jazz with one of them dancing away.

They were good too.

I caught the bus home and dropped off at the Co-op to get some bread then back to the hoppit.

WC.

Made some sandwiches.

Tried the headphones (The 99p behind the ear ones) but they weren’t loud enough for me dodgy ears to listen to words without missing any and struggling.

Still, I could just hear Nat King Cole singing while I updated this Diary and gorrit posted.

Took me medications at 1700hrs and did some blog reading and facebooking fer a bit.

WC.

A very slight involuntary escapage of wind caused me to adopt the usage of the air freshener… twice!

Inchcock Today: Sunday 30th November 2014

Sunday 30th November 2014

070Fri01

Bestest tea-bags fer me!

I forced myself to raise-up and into imitation life at 0530hrs.

Made a mug of Thompsopn’s Punjana Tea – gorgeous!

WC.

Got the things ready for me visit to Sister Jane and Brother-in-law Pete.

Wash and brush-up taking place (A mammoth task!).

Oh dear me… blood coming from ‘Little Inchy!’ Applied the Betamethasone corticosteroid cream and crossed me fingers!

070Fri02

A thriving community?

I set off on me walk into town to catch the West Bridgford bus.

Pete rang as I was taking a photograph of another part of Mansfield Road about half a mile from the City Centre to confirm I’m to meet him at the Co-op on Central Avenue in West Bridgford.

070Fri03

Hey-ho, Hey-ho it’s off to town I go…

Caught the bus and met Pete, nice to see him looking so good. We had a natter and walked to his palace… house.

Jane was having a bit of bother with her tummy again, I gave them some nibbles and pain gel and tablets.

The cats (Apart from Fooey who slept through me visit) ignored me professionally as cats do.

We had a good chinwag, and arranged to meet Pete on Wednesday in the city centre, where he is going to do a bit of skating on the ice-rink. I’d have a go as well… but I don’t want to embarrass him like. (Ahem!) That is if it all goes okay tomorrow with me INR level tests.

070Fri04

Sister Jane – poorly, but still looking good!

Took a photo of Sister Jane, after asking her to wear a straw hat that I am fond of seeing her in. She reluctantly agreed bless her.

I bidded them farewell and caught a bus into town.

Walked into Victoria Centre (Very busy today), and called at a shop selling cheapo Lion bars at 4 for a quid and purchased some to add to the nibbles for the haematology nurses tomorrow.

As I was on my way out of the centre I saw my first shoplifters of the season being unwillingly being arrested and removed by the Police Ossifers.

070Fri04a

Why did I take this? No idea!

When I got to the Carrington bus-stop, opposite I noticed Corel Bookmakers next to Cope’s Jewellers – and for some reason took a photo of them – I’m blowed if I can remember why now?

No doubt something deep, witty, creative, satirical and /or brilliant caused me to do this… but what?

Caught the bus to Carrington and dropped off at the Co-operative Society shop next to the Pancho Chip shop – and I felt sure I could taste the roast pork slices I bought there the other day?

070Fri05

Getting murky early today!

It was beginning to get a little murky early as I walked along the road and turned into Muggers Alley on my way back to the hovel.

Got in WC’d and made some sandwiches and a cuppa.

Got the laptop working and Coreldraw9 opened quickly, the Chrome opened without any problems too!

The angina playing up a tad.

Updated and finished this Diary as the eyelids became heavy…

Tuesday 25th November 2014

Nothing cheers Inchcock up like feeding his mallards and pigeons! Sad innit?

Tuesday 25th November 201402Tue01

I kept waking up shivering, increased the heating, put extra togs on.

WC.

Little Inch inflamed and sore but no blood again… looking good?

Gave up trying to kip. Started the laptop and went down and made a cuppa and get me medications ready for later.

A dizzy-spell caused me to spill the tea on me way upstairs – went down and made another mug of char.

Got into the interneting and forgot about me mug of tea as it grew steadily colder – Humph!

WC.

I had a peek outside – freezing fog… -1.5ºc (29.3ºf), still it’s better than many places like America with their abundant snow in places?

0455hrs took medications.

Flippin’ cold again now -2c and misty with it. Still, this is a tad higher than yesterday.

Got missen cleansed shaved and well wrapped up.

I got the laundry togs ready, and hoping I’d not forgot anything set off to walk to the launderette.

Hadn’t gone far when I realised I’d not got me hearing aids in. But it didn’t matter, no one spoke to me. (Hehehe)

I’d remembered the money for the machines, balls for the drier, fabric softener and book to read – but had forgotten the soap tablets. Hey-ho.

Struggled back to the hoppit with the bags and put togs away… well dropped the bags in the bedroom.

Decided on a walk into town to look at laptops, DVD players, Microwaves and get a woolly hat. Then remembered I hadn’t got a valid card to use to pay for anything.

02Tue02As I walked into town I noticed one of the Nottingham Council’s electric powered road sweepers and took a photo of it.

As I passed the Continental food shop where they sell the high volume beer, there were two winos trying to have a fight with each other, plenty of swearing and gesticulations going on, but I think the alcohol had limited their ability to hit any target.

02Tue03They mutually agreed to sit in the floor and put their arm around each other?

As I passed the Victoria bus station I took a photo of the flats and sky – it looked amazing to my eye, but it didn’t seem to come out like I recall it being.

Further down Mansfield Road a chap was sat in a doorway with his scruffy little dog and I caught sight of the bottle of Whisky under the dogs blanket… Mmmm?

02Tue04

Ostrich Burger Stall

I walked on and into the City Centre, taking some photographs along the way:

1) The Ostrich Burger stall with the helter-skelter in the background, with the man and woman on the right of the frame showing her giving him some vocals and you can see his reaction in his face I think?

02Tue05

Crochet Hat and Scarves for a tenner (£10) each

2) A little further along passing the stalls I came across one selling ladies wool-knitted headwear… Crochet Hat and Scarves for a tenner (£10) each. I liked the style of these indeed and took the photo to show the TFZ gals and see what they thought about them.

They reminded me of something or someone, but I can’t remember what exactly. Film? Film-star? Book?

02Tue06

Skating Rink

3) A short distance further on and I whipped it out again… the camera I mean. A food stall selling Minted Lamb, Roast Turkey, Wild Boar Burgers, Venison Burgers, Pigs in Blankets and Ostrich Steaks etc.

I couldn’t see any of the prices, but there was no one buying owt at the stall.

4) As I crossed into the Slab Square and walked through the highly priced stalls selling stuff from all over the world – in the centre of all these stalls were a few children’s fair rides.

And they were putting the final touches to the ice-skating rink!

Unfortunately it wasn’t yet open for business – or else I would have had a bash and skated a few rapid circuits yer know.

(The above sentence was created and typed with no intention of misleading the caring magnanimous and wonderful readers of this diary – it was just a plain lie like!)

So onward to the tram stop and caught one (Tram not stop) into Bulwell.

The ticket checker woke me up asking to see me travel-pass, and he checked it on his machine to make sure that I’d swiped it like we have to now before getting on the tram.

02Tue07Still the threatening rain held off as I alighted the tram and made for the river to feed me Mallard ducks and pigeons.

I’m not sure now if it is actually allowed to feed birds in Bulwell – because it caused a crowd to gather on the bridge watching me as I fed em? (The ducks and pigeons that is, not the crowds)

Bulwell market was quite busy for a change… pickpockets delight that place.

02Tue08I nipped into Fultons Food shop and bought another pack of the microwave sausages for when I get another microwave oven and some Marmite bread sticks… short dated but only 15p a packet.

As I came out of the shop and walked across the way, I was just in time to see a woman on a mobility scooter sat talking to another younger lady and the scooter shot backwards and she panicked and lost control a bit.

Luckily she did not hit anyone, but the thing that amused me was the way she just carried on talking to the other woman as if nothing happened afterwards. She scattered a few pedestrians!

I plodded to the bus-stop to get one back to Carrington.

Which I did.

Got in, WC, made a cuppa and some sandwiches then read me book for a while.

I did not… I say Did Not fall asleep! (Chest out, superior sneer adopted)

1730hrs: Tended little ‘Inch’- no bleeding at all!

Made cuppa and took me medications.

Internetted for a while.

Still got this nagging feeling I’ve forgotten something…

Inchcock Today: Monday 24th November 2014

01Mon01

I awoke around 0200hrs – almost like getting an electric shock – wide awake!

WC.

I poddled down and made a cuppa, too early for me medications yet.

Returned upstairs and started to update posts for the League of Mental Men site.

WC – and no blood from little ‘Inch’ – tender, but no blood! dabbed a tad of Betamethasone cream on and managed not to scream-out. (Hehe)

Feeling depressed this morning… why? No idea!

0515hrs: Cuppa and took medications. Inch still no blood. (Good)

Got the things ready for me walk to the QMC for me NRI blood level tests – but could not find me Anticoagulation record card. So I’ll have to go up to the fourth floor and get another one – good thing I’m setting out early (0630hrs still dark).

-2ºc the cars windscreens well frosted over. Took a photo.

Hobbled down to the Queens Medical Centre taking 1hr 35mins for the hike.

As I passed the college on Triumph Road I took two photo’s of the fancy shaped new buildings

Arrived to be greeted by Unison members on picket duty just outside the hospital. Took a photo.

Slowly I ascended the stairs to the anticoagulation unit and had to wait a while for the printer to be turned on, got me record card and back down to floor B and into the waiting area outside haematology.

WC.

Again two staff had not turned up for work, last week it was three. The two left on duty were well pee’d off. I wondered if they ere taking industrial action but didn’t like to ask while she’s got the needle in me arm. (Hehe)

Came out and foolishly tried to get on a bus to Bulwell and the driver pointed out that I could not use me free-bus-pass until 0930hrs. Red-faced I got off and started to walk to town (55min’s) taking a photo of the wonderful but dark sky. There I caught as tram to Bulwell (0932hrs)

Now this is good, even for a twit like me – I went into Fultons Frozen Foods  shop, and was overjoyed at seeing they had some of the giant packs of microwave sausages in stock again and bought one post haste, well pleased.

I then called in the cheapo shop to see if any bargains were available and while in there it dawned on me that I have no longer got a microwave! Huh!

Fed the ducks on the river Leen and caught the bus back to Carrington.

Took  a photo of what was left of a chained up bike near the Kebab-Pizza poisoning shop- it was not a lot.

Got in and WC’d.

Now… throughout the course of me mammoth walkabout I took about eight photos, some of which I thought were good.

Started the laptop – but no internet connection at all – closed and opened Chrome again, still nothing. I went down and reset the BT hub, and got numbers off of it in case I needed them later.

Came back up and restarted the laptop – nothing again.

Went down and checked what I could and reset hub again.

Came back up and second try it started?

I downloaded the photo’s I’d took, deleted them from the camera card – and the laptop turned itself off: lost em all!

Hence no photo’s in today diary. After all that bother as well. Tsk! blow and damnations!

Restarted again after going through the checks demanded and it seems alright again now.

Updated this diary – but me heart wasn’t in it after losing me photographs.

And… after losing/misplacing me bank card and going embarrassed to the bank and helpful lady helping me sort it out, I should get new card around Wednesday/Thursday… when I was at the hospital earlier I found the blooming thing! Oh… fed-up I am fed-up frustrated and low… still that’s about normal fer me nowadays. (Hehehe)

Inchcock today: Saturday 22nd November 2014

05S001

Wide awake at 0015hrs (Bloomin’ ‘eck!).

Little Inch bleeding a bit – gritted me teeth and applied the Betamethasone corticosteroid cream.

Updated this tosh.

Meeting brother-in-law Pete this cold misty morning at 0600hrs in the City Centre. He (we) will be joining the queue for his free Pantomime tickets in the slab square.

I got missen polished-up changed WC’s and warmly wrapped up and set off on me way to town. Then I caught a bus instead of walking as it was looking like rain would descend at any time.

05S01 05S02I walked into the slab square to where the queue for the free tickets from the Nottingham Evening Post were to be distributed and I was the only one where the queue was to be formed at 0555hrs and waited for Pete’s arrival.

I waited and waited but no Pete or anyone else seemed to joining me?

I called Pete on me mobile and he was on a bus en route.

I took a photo from where I was standing, one to my left one to my right. The Christmas stalls were being prepared for opening later.

The Council House lights were on.

Pete arrived about 0625hrs and we had a natter and I shared some nibbles with him.

He explained that I was there so he could give me the coupons required to collect the free pantomime tickets for a 90 year old neighbour of his and Janet’s.

05S03QueueBeing stood still for so long the feet and knees soon started playing up.

Others started joining the queue behind us and somehow the rain held off.

Pete took a photo of me looking well cheerful at the front of the queue.

Eventually at 0900hrs the ladies who issue the tickets arrived.

I walked Pete who thanked me for helping, back to his  bus stop and had a little ponder around town as the fair got active with smell of Kangaroo steaks, Ostrich burgers and 05S04Shark slices being cooked ready for later.

Spotted a vintage type van being used in the fayre and took a photo of it.

Caught the bus back to Carrington.

Well tired and weary.

Had a bit to eat and started to read me book, but I fell into a much needed sleep – missing me evening medications creaming and lotioning. applications. (Huh)

Woke up around 2210hrs and updated this tosh.

Inchcock Diary 16th Nov 14

IMG_0249Sunday 16th November 2014

I was up cleaning little ‘Inchy’ and changing me bloodied night attire at 0200hrs. Well pee’d off with it now!

Started laptop and made a cuppa took medications and consumed a pot of porridge.

Angina bad.

Toyed on the internet for many hours, having to restart the laptop a few times though. But Coreldraw seemed content not to crash. (Up to now!)

Hope to get out and take some photo’s later, but the weather is a tad foggy and not very welcoming.

The depression self-pity loathing and the Angina beat me today – Not doing anything but Internetting.

Sorry. Hope to bounce back.

Inchcock Today: Wed 5th November 2014

Wednesday 5th November

03W01

Sprang awake around 0200hrs, down and on the laptop with a  cuppa at 0245hrs.

Did some graphics but had to give up after a while Coreldraw9 playing up again.

Worked on some posts for Inchcock blog.

Thought about going to meet sister Jane on Thursday to go to the hospital with her and got some things ready to take.

Got an email from her later, it’s not this Thursday but next. Off course I knew that… I’d just forgot.

Got the things ready for the Nottingham Hospice Charity Shop in Sherwood, did me ablutions and set off on me walk there.

03W02The sky looked beautiful, but by gum it were bloomin’ cold!

Dropped the stuff off at the shop and caught a bus into the city centre. Where I hobbled into Tesco and got some bread for the ducks and myself. (The ducks got it all – Tsk!)

Caught a bus out to Derby where I can 03W03afeed the ducks without being arrested.

03W03bI went in the Spar shop at the bus-station 03W03cand got some more bread and as I did I 03W03dcould smell some hot cobs for sale. I got missen a bacon one – it wus ‘orrible!

Dried and tasteless.

Still, the ducks and pigeons liked it.

The birds there on the river Derwent behind the bus station were in great abundance. There was lot of them as well. Mallards, Canada geese, swans, pigeons and thousands of nasty greedy bullying sea gulls.

Took a lot of photographs of them.

Then I caught the bus to Mansfield (Gawd bless the pensioner’s free bus-pass!).

I managed to get a good read of PC David Rathbones book on me journeys today because I left me Blood Red Snow book in the bathroom at home.

Had a poddle round for a bit.

I tried to take a photo of a mobility scooter that looked like a three-wheeled Harley-Davidson but by the time I’d got me old camera out he was long gone. Still I found one on the web that looks very similar to the one I nearly photographed.

03W02aThen caught the bus back to Nottingham.

03W04Gawd he was in a rush, it felt like I was on a waltzer! I got off a bit battered and bruised.

Tried to take a photo through the bus window of the wonderful scenery – didn’t come out too well.

Hobbled back to the dump – no yobs in sight, good.

Bonfire night here yer know.  They’ll be out later with their fireworks and oh dear…

Don’t know if I should go up tonight or sit down here on guard!

Must remember not to use me Betamethasone ream tonight when i take me medications and wash the ‘Litttle Inch’.

Soddit, just had a dizzy spell; Tsk!

Oh… better take me medications then…

Inchcock Today: Tuesday 4th October 2014

 02Tu01

Tuesday 4th October 2014

0305hrs: Feeling so very cold when I came down this morning to get the cream from the fridge to treat ‘Little Inch’ – then I remembered as soon as I couldn’t find the Dakacort cream that I didn’t need the cream from the fridge to treat ‘Little Inch’. I had the new Betamethasone corticosteroid cream to treat ‘Little Inch’ I was supposed to be using now and that was back upstairs where I was nice and warm in the bathroom.

I had to nip back to use the WC which I did, while doing so I couldn’t remember if I’d left the tap on downstairs, so nipped back down and forgot all about treating ‘Little Inch’.

Laptop started, made a cuppa.

WC.

Did a bit of blogging etc

WC. Piles bleeding.

Stubbed me toe again – I must get some steel toe-capped slippers.

Washed the ‘Little Inch’ and just as I started to put the new cream on, out spurted the blood again. Took a while for it to stop. I’m getting fed-up wi this now, six blooming weeks and it ain’t any better yet. Globergerations!

When I did me teeth the gums bled a bit as well.

02Tu02

Bertha, my hearts desire at the launderette

Yet when I got me INR level test results back later in the day, it was the nearest to the targeted factor ever? (Puzzled that’s wot I am – still there were no arousals in me sleep so he wasn’t so tender this morning bless him)

Got meself ready and tottered off to the launderette with me bags of washing.

02Tu02a

Did my escaping wind cause this?

Bertha was working today… I don’t know if that is her name but it’s the one I’ve given her.

A Polish gal and just my cup of tea body wise – yet still no arousals from me lower regions?

When it came time to leave, the place was empty; mind you I did drop a few involuntary deadly silent ones while doing me washing earlier.

I poddled back to the flea-pit and got the things for the Nottingham Hospice Charity Shop and limped into Sherwood with em for them.

Then I caught a bus to town.

02Tu03

Atmospheric Milton Street – by Inchcock

Despite the occasion bright bursts of sunshine it’s blooming cold today, forecast 2o c tonight.

As I dropped off I thought how atmospheric the view down Milton Street looked and took a photo of it on the old camera (Having forgotten to take the newer one with me like), just hope it comes out nice.

02Tu04

These cost a tad too much for me!

I caught a bus out to Bulwell to see if anything worth investing in at the cheapo shop.

On the way the bus stopped at a bus-stop and waited, I noticed we were opposite the bungalows I went to look at last year. After talking to someone it transpired that if I moved into one, all-in it would cost me about £120 more a week than my income. So I didn’t move into one.

Nothing in the cheapo shop, many bare shelves.

I walked to the Fultons Food shop in the vain hope of getting some microwave sausages again. Huh!

Poddled through the market to the Heron Frozen Food shop and got some microwaveable potatoe-halves with cheese to try.

Hobbled (Knees and feet beginning to ache a bit now) to the bus stop to catch one back to Carrington.

02Tu05

Obstacle course on Hucknall Road

As I dropped off at the top of the hill to walk down to my street – it was like a slalom run with plastic fences all the way down on the pavements. I had a bit of bother manoeuvring through them without twisting me knees as the surface there is very uneven from previous repairs.

How anyone in a disabled scooter would manage… well they wouldn’t get through. The only way passed would be to go on the road.

When I got onto my street, there were a couple of dodgy looking characters walking up and down looking a doors and windows. I wanted to take a photo of them, but the hostile glare I got from them convinced me not to take any.

WC.

Bit more blood from the Inch. But the piles had stopped leaking. I mustn’t expect too much must I?

Coreldraw throwing up new problems.

Updated this then went on the web for a bit.

WC.

Litttle ‘Inch’ bleeding just a tad.

Inchcock Today: Monday 3rd October 2014

01M01

Monday 3rd October 2014

I was up at 0145hrs wide awake, mind you I did get me head down early.

Down to the fridge for the Inchy cream – now this morning it didn’t bleed much at all? But I’m still going to visit the G.U.M. clinic to see if I can or indeed need any more of the Daktacort cream, especially after it bled so much yesterday. (The ‘Inch’ not the cream like)

Got my LOMM posts all done, and was pleased with some of the graphics.

Did some Facebooking before getting ready for the long walk to the Clinic.

I set off and got as far as the end of the road and realised I’d not got me mobile phone with me, so returned and collected it… after a little search proved fruitful. Tsk!

Set off again on the trudge to the G.U.M. clinic.

Only had to wait about 20 minutes, and a young strapping lass came and called my name out. She took me into a little office and I explained everything to her about me bleeding tender little ‘Inch’.

We went into the examination room and she had a look with the magnifying tool and showed concern saying she would fetch a doctor to have a look at it. Despite all I’d explained to her about the bleeding, this surprised her.

A female doctor returned with her and had a good decker and grope at the ‘Inch’. Painfully at times.

She declared that she was going to consult with someone else and left, covering up the ‘Inch’ with a paper towel.

She returned and had  prod about again, the declared she was going to prescribe some cream with steroid in it. To be applied thinly once a day. I was to use it for 3 weeks then return for a check up. If things had not improved I’d be referred to a doctor for consideration for further investigation and even the snip.

01M02When they left the room this time as I waited for the Betamethasone corticosteroid cream to arrive – I definitely heard much laughter from the other side of the door! Never mind eh.

The cream arrived and I left and caught the free bus to the QMC for me INR level tests to be done. I got a bit of reading done en route. (Blood Red Snow).

When I arrived at the QMC I went up to floor D and the Anticoagulation therapy Department to explain why I wanted it doing today on the Doctors instructions. They said it would be alright, and sent me back down to the ground floor where I took a ticket and joined the queue.

Only two nurses on duty, but I managed to have a little natter with them.

Then caught the bus back to town and another out to Carrington, where I dropped off at Lidl to get some bread. I joined the queue at the till and waited as my beard grew and paid for the bread, again getting 4x1p pieces in the change.

As I walked home I thought I’d save all these 1p pieces and spend them at Lidl in one go, if they moan I’ll tell not to give em me in me change then!

Saw Big John going to the launderette instead of Tuesday. He said he’s got to go to a funeral tomorrow.

Got back to the dump, WC and laptop started passed wind and felt the blood from me piles running.

Went up and cleaned myself up – Gawd I’m getting through some clothes this last week. Bloodied underpants, pyjama bottoms, bedding etc.

Another traipse to the launderette tomorrow then.

Ah well!
