Uzbek: 2018 yil 20 Mart Seshanba Kuni

0315hrs: I woke with the brain engaged and fretting over what needed doing today for the coming visit from the Building Team. I went through the details in my befuddled mind: They are coming in the PM. Time for me to get all three room sorted? Got the laundry to do, not today or tomorrow though… ah, tomorrow, Wednesday the workers are coming in the morning, and I will not be here cause I’ve got the blood test at 0905hrs at the surgery with Nurse Ann. I’ll have to sort out what to do about that later, go to see someone and ask advice on it. I can’t move the chairs in the front room, have to tell them this when they arrive this afternoon, must remember this…

The most amazing thing just happened. There I was typing away and concentrating, and a massive sudden sneeze shook me to the core. After I finished blowing and wiping myself with the paper towel, the computer screen looked like it had exploded. Text highlighted, corner markers on the top photo and a message asking me if I wanted to do something I could not understand, with some sort of code numbers and letters showing? I declined the offer that I could not understand. Then after a while, I followed what had happened, or rather what had caused these things to happen. When the sneeze came, bodily fluids shot out and hit the screen! I wiped off the escaped nasal content carefully and gently. This computer has a touch screen thingy, and I don’t know how to turn in off. Anyway, all seems back to normal now. I sensed that today was not going to be a good one!

I’d lost any connection with what I was thinking that needed concentrating on now. Besides, my attention turned to the more urgent needs of getting out of the £300 second-hand recliner and making my way to the Porcelain Throne, post haste. A similar session to yesterday, rich dark blood and a lot of it from Harold’s Haemorrhoids (I hope, hehe). Got cleaned up.

Made a brew and did the health checks.

Took the medications and pondered further on what needed doing today.

I mysteriously found some will-power and semi-determination, to get on and sort the three-rooms out straight away!I made a start in the spare room.

With a rare resolution, to get the job done in one blast of enthusiasm!

SPARE ROOM:

I did a lot of moving stuff out of the way, the stack I put some of them on, collapsed and that had to be sorted out. The things I could not move, because they were either too stubborn to let me or too heavy, I left where they were.

I’ll ask for some help from the working lads when they arrive. It did not look any different to when I started. Huh!

FRONT ROOM:

Now the messy room was started work on. Sorted the paperwork first, and got it into the appropriate folders and case.

Tried to move the recliner and easy-chair, but both presented too much effort, and it was beyond my physical capabilities.

The old armchair was one of its cube-shaped legs, that has come loose. It is a 1962 E-plan piece of furniture: it was just too heavy for me to handle. Tsk! I managed to move the writing desk that Duncan Robertson bought me when I first moved into the flat, Bless Him, and the small chair to the back of the room. Along with the folder case. Moved some DVDs and got carried away soring them on their shelves, getting it all wrong chronologically and theme-wise. I’m sorry I started this, I’ll never find the one I want to watch next time now. Hehe! Dare not touch the electrics. It did not look much different from when I started. Huh!

KITCHEN. Ah, the kitchen. One heck of a job this one. Cleared the window ledge, but had difficulty in finding where to put the stuff I removed.

Swept the floor, which prompted me to give it a mopping, then. I needed the floor cleaner bottle, but I’d blocked getting into the cupboard for it with the gear taken off of the window ledge. So, I Moved the items back onto the window ledge and got the mopping up done.

Got the mop and bucket, did the floor cleaning and emptied the window shelf once again.

Around 0530hrs, I’d got it all finished in a fashion.

Feeling a little self-satisfied, but disappointed because it did not look much different from 2Tue05when I started. Huh! As the photos indicate, the top one was taken before I started on the room, bottom one after I’d say supposedly finished. I’m shattered now, and Dizzy Dennis has started hassling me.

I made a brew to celebrate, nearly dropped it and lost some content, which went over my hand, the counter, and the newly mopped floor!

Leaving oddly coloured purple marks on the fingers, which, when they had some antiseptic cream rubbed on them, changed to a faint blue colour. Work that one out if you can?

I got on the computer to start this post off.

2Tue08aThe view outside when I made another cuppa was grand.

Got this post done up to here, and went on to finish off yesterdays blog. I found an old blog that had not been completed, and the photos had disappeared. But I posted it anyway for a laugh.

Went to the WordPress Reading page. Then on comments.

Then2Tue08c got on with the ablutionisationing session. I’m feeling tired-out already today. Hehe!

There I was, having done the teggies, Little Inchies Lesion treating. Showered and shaving. About to treat Harold’s Haemorrhoids and the door chime rang out! Wrapped a towel around me, opened the door and gave the Willmott-Brown bloke with the clipboard one hell of a shock! Hahaha!

He asked if they could fit my windows today. ‘No problem’ I replied, off he popped, saying they would be with me when they have finished the flats above windows.

Finished the drying off and made a brew of the Assam tea, and got on with updating this post. Later, I realised I had not medicated the haemorrhoids when the agony reminded me. Hehe!

While I was awaiting the crew, team or whatever the workmen are known as I went on CorelDraw to do some more advance page-top funny graphics.

A chap arrived, and we had a natter he then shut me in the front room to reduce the noise and dust pollution for me. No food or drink for me then.

Back on CorelDrawing.

Blimey, it soon got proper-cold in here. What it must be like for the blokes doing the job, I dread to think. A good job they get paid well. Decent sounding type of lad. Back to CorelDraw.

I escaped my imprisonment to get a woolly hat out of the airing cupboard and took these pictures of the sticky-film the lad had put down, to protect the carpet I assume.

I also turned up the heater in the main room.

T’was the Willmott-Brown bloke with the clipboard. The balcony doors were being delivered later on. And he wanted to get them fitted in the morning instead of the afternoon. I told him about my appointment with the nurse for the blood test and my having to leave at 0800hrs to get there in time. He’s to get here at 0800hrs, and I can give him a key, or let them in and shoot off. It’s all go here innit? Hehehe!

Not only cold, but I’m now getting hungry, tired and weary as well. Brrr! Can’t get into the kitchen make a mug of tea either. Humph!

Concentration (As is usual at this time), was shot to pieces.

I went on YouTube to watch some motoring accident clips.

They are now taking off the outer-concrete, or whatever it is called from the balcony above. Which calls for a lot of drilling it seems. I’m gonna be a nervous wreck at this rate today. Tired, irritable, cold and hungry! Chilled to the bone. I can hear the removed chunks of whatever it is they are taking off falling onto my balcony, some big lumps of it flying about.

The chap on the hoist appears everytime the drilling stops to collect and bag up some of it. Better him, out there than me, doing the job. Haha!

But I must admit to liking the smell of the sealant they are using on the windows in the other two rooms.

I’m going to have to put the oil-filled heater on as well, now. Double-Brrr!

Oh, what an excellent day I’m having, they are now starting to drill on my balcony, and the spectacles have broken. The nose bit had fallen off. Can I find it? No!

Great Balls of Fire, what next! I bent down to get the plug to put the heater on, and Anne Gyna was not happy with me at all. Her being aggrieved and disgruntled, of course, meant more discomfort for me…

Oh, Gawd, I’ve missed the medications and health checks! I’m fed-up and disgruntled myself now!

I did a Health Check and made a cuppa (No sign of the workers and the kitchen had been swept). They may have said cheerio, but with me taking the hearing aids out, because of the noise, I might not have heard them. Took the medications and did another Health Check on the sphygmomanometer to catch up on the record log.

The lads outside were packing up, I caught them as they went down in the hoist.

Catching a view of the new window.

All locked up so I can’t mess with it and ruin anything for them.

Apparently, even to a mechanical and handyman moron like myself, they could not do the replastering around the edges yet until it had settled.

The left side didn’t have too many holes in it, but the right one was well knocked about.

Also, there were plenty of meat flies around the windows and kitchen.

I counted eleven. I reckon most were coming out from the right-hand side.

When I took a photo of that area, I realised that I could see many of them in the picture and on the window glass.

Proof that the Onergruooenfurheresses were wrong in laughing at me, and giving me sideways looks, many weeks ago when I told them that meat flies appeared in the kitchen.

Humph! Hehe!

Two openings in the new window, with a sideways motion. I hope that I can still hang out enough to take some down shots when they get opened end for use. Mary said, she had to wait a week for her plastering to get done on her windows and longer for the balcony ones to be done.

I think it might be awkward and too high for me to get out to photograph through them.

But, soon, I hope, the balcony will be done so I can use that to get the lower shots?

The lock wires I assume will be removed later.

Bits of plaster and dust were found everywhere, in the sink the cutlery, the cooker, food pots etc. But it is to be expected, so no bother to me.

Getting all the things back in place can wait. For the balcony, windows will be being done tomorrow, and more mess and hassle created made.

Later, sometime after that, the balcony itself will be positioned, not to be used then naturally, until the rendering has been done and dried. Did you see that? I’m getting into the terminology too now! Hehe!

2Tue14I visited the spare room to take a look at the new window in there.

Dead the same as the one in the kitchen.

They should be easier to clean than the old ones form one point of view; They will now need turning around with the finger trapping mechanism of the old ones. But; I’ll need the steps to reach to the top… hang on though, I’ll have another look, back in a second or two.

I’m back. Aha, the new windows do open inwards, so should be more accessible for cleaning after all! I can get to them with the step ladders without any bother. He says with high confidence and hope!

Things seemed a little brighter, doubly so, cause the sun came out, and it was beautiful to look at. I photographed it, but of course, I had to do it through the uncleanable none opening windows, but it was almost breathtaking to me. Of course, it is nothing compared to what they get elsewhere, especially in the likes of Australia, Canada or Albuquerque, but I liked it.

It dawned on me that I still have the Fire Sprinklers, new communication devices and Tannoy system to be fitted. And these windows and balcony upgrades will not be finished and ready for use for a while yet. My doubly brighter outlook soon dimmed. But that is because I’m so tired, and hungry, and concerned about tomorrows work on the balcony doors being done and my INR blood test appointment being with Nurse Ann thus, I will miss seeing Nurse Nichole. Its all a plot you know! Hehe!

I got the oven warming up and updated this diary.

The meal was welcomed and tastily too. (Can’t find the photo I took of it?)

Put the tray on the other easy chair and fell asleep; for ten minutes. The landline rang forth! It was another take-away delivery person telling me he’s outside the house with my pizza delivery. I said a few choice words and rang out, putting the phone down gently.

After that, sleep did not return for ages. I assumed I was overtired and feeling niggly with things. Eventually, I nodded off and got three hours kip. I had to force myself to get up with all the things going on today. Humph!

What a stonkingly-shitty, sclerotic, stinking, and shlimazel-ridden, stressfull day! Grumph!

Inchcock Today – Monday 19th March 2018

Monday 19th March 2018

Gujarati: સોમવાર 19 મી માર્ચ 2018

0200hrs: I lay trying to recall a dream I think I’d just been having. I was in a swimming pool, filled with Engraulidae, with several people walking around throwing water on the anchovies from an aspergillum. On a tannoy system someone was asking me to answer quiz-like questions I knew nothing about and could not give an answer too. The voice said I must provide a solution or a fish would be killed for every one I fail to respond to. I was a right blatherskite in answering and made no sense at all, but the voice accepted every muttering I spouted as being the correct response? The recall gets very vague here, I have no idea what happened after this. I thought about getting back to sleep to see if I could get back the same dream.

0230hrs: The need for a wee-wee prevented me doing this. I disentangled my short, plump blubbery mass from the £300 second-hand recliner, and off to the wet room for my wee-wee. Far less bleeding this morning from the fungal lesion.

Washed and cleaned up and into the kitchen to see what the weather was like.

There were no signs of any snow falling. But the already settled dollop made this photograph rather pretty, I thought.

An Active-Warning was on the BBC site for Ice in Nottingham. When I took this photo of below the kitchen window, I could see they were right, too

The glistening does not show up in the picture, but it was unmistakably going to be risky walking underfoot on roads or sidewalks when I get out later.

I made a mug of extra-strong tea, then wondered if this was such a good idea when I had to return to the wet room for another wee-wee. It dawned on me then, no signs of needing the Porcelain Throne yet? I sensed problems might arise later.

Coming out of the wet room, I noticed something had been posted through the letterbox and had floated over and under the radiator. Being careful not to bang my head against the radiator this time, I bent down to retrieve the notice… and clouted my elbow on the heater instead. Hehe!

The leaflet was a warning of what was about to occur in the next stage of the flats upgrading. Then pamphlet was dated Friday 16th March, but I’m sure it only arrived yesterday, on Sunday? Unless I had not noticed it under the radiator? It included:

Tuesday 20th March (1-day notice given)  And a PM arrival. That will help me to get some sleep a lot. To:

  • Tuesday 20 March PM: Check area is clear to ALL windows – Check access to balcony area to demolish the wall and install protection screen.
  • Warning that the day before your windows are to be installed, you will see operatives on the balcony removing the outer leaf of the wall – they will not need access.
  • Wednesday 21 March AM: Install protection screen, Demolish wall, remove old windows and door and replace with new.

This will prevent me going out today, as moving all the gear and furniture to give them access to the windows and balcony is not going to be an easy job for me to do. So I’ll have to work slowly and carefully on the task to get it all done in time. Hippy Hilda, Arthur Itis and Anne Gyna permitting, of course. Feeling a little apprehensive about this, but its got to be one. I’ll nip to the Obergruppenfurhress Wardens Shed and get clarification on what need doing around 0900hrs.

All this hassle does me no good. I fret and panic nowadays with change, pathetic, I, know. Just sorting the paperwork will take hours.

I admire how some of the tenants have coped with having their apartments done. Maybe it is easier for the couples in situ, than the single occupants, but hey, what do I know about couples! (Desirous plea for someone to adopt me here, I think? Haha!)

Back and got the Health Checks done and medications were taken. Made up the INR record on Excel for the week.

Got the computer on and finished off yesterdays blog. Rushing about a bit now so I can make time before I fall to sleep, to get as much work done on moving the furniture, boxes, wardrobes, bags, cleaning material, stuff off of the shelves. And, to file and store them, run through the paperwork etc. In readiness for the window workers arrival, and get it moved into the files boxes. The grey-cells are racing away, but the body is refusing to go at the same rate of knots! When I finish starting this diary off, I’ll make a start on the front room rearranging, cause that will take the longest time to get done. The most-gruelling work will be the unused apart from as a junk room, bedroom. Not looking forward to that, its bound to set one of the ailments off.

Got this post started up to here.

A quick blast on the WordPress Reader. Then the comments were read and replied to. There are some great posts on the site today.

Facebooking tried. Slow, but got through it.

Started to create a TFZer graphic.

Bondi Beach, with the adorable Marie and me in the rocks. Roxie is keeping her eye on the nosh I’m carrying, of course.

Tended to the ablutions and medicating procedures next.

Got myself wrapped up and off out to the Obergruppefureresses Temporary Wood and plastic shed, to ask advice on the two-day builders visit, and to check if the weather conditions out there would permit me to get out today.

As I opened the door at the end of the flat’s entrance into the elevator foyer. The icy-wind blew in my face, making me shudder and shiver a bit. Brr!

I could hear the wind blowing too. Things did not bode too well for my planned get about session today.

A closer look at where the wind was coming in from, revealed a two layer of iced-up snow in the bottom holding tray under the slatted vents that go through to outside.

With this, and the upcoming window and balcony work starting tomorrow for two days, I thought my immediate prospects of any warmth in the flat to be minimal.

Down in the elevator, it took a while some workers were bringing up window frames etc.

As I departed the building out of the foyer doors, the sight that greeted me, made my mind up straight away, I will not be going out anywhere.

As I got beyond what little bit of cover there was from the scaffolding, the snow and ice made me shiver even more!

Thre weren’t many people about, and they were taking their time on the lethal surface of the road. My slip-defying creep along to the shed, took ages, as I tried to avoid the worst patches of sheet ice.

I ended up walking on the road along Chestnut Walk.

I must have looked a little odd as I made my way along.

A lot of ice was under the snow, and some it compacted. Finding any free bits to walk on was impossible until I was close to the Warden’s Hut.

Things looked terribly bleak out there.

I ended up walking in the middle of the road on a bit of ice-free patches. But of course along came a car wishing to exit the site, and it was back to hobbling on the ice for me.

About 0910hrs, I arrived at the hut, I entered and the Obergruppenfurheress Wardens Deana and Julie were in their office, both on the phone. Cath, the on-site resident Liasion Officer, was not present. But about six builders or window fitters were, they were having something to eat and a warming drink before starting work.

I waited a while until they had finished their communications, and went in. They seemed happy enough. It must be hectic for them on a Monday, with the weekend’s problems to discover and sort-out. I mentioned the noise from Herbert. I found out his real name is John. He is a lot younger than me, and a big bloke. This cheered me up no end!

I asked what needed to be done in readiness for the two-day frenetic, tumultuous work mess and session. “Just leave free access to all the windows and balcony”. Julie asked if they should go and sort me out now. I declined the offer. (I regret doing that now!) Thanked them, handed a fancy cup over for the Residents Raffle and said my farewells.

As I left the shed, the ground around was littered with icicles that had come off of the roof. Some builder chaps were walking along spreading grit on the roadway. Much appreciated by me, I can tell you.

As I made my way precariously back to the flat, I recalled Mary and Cindy telling on different occasions, that there new balcony and everyone’s, was left unsealed for two days, as were the windows. With -4°c forecast for the next two nights, the gale coming in through the outside vents and having mine done… I felt trepidation and the knowledge that I was going to be very cold shortly in the flat! Strewth, it’s cold enough now!

Entered the foyer, made way through several window fitters and their glass and frames and got in the lift.

A bit of sun broke through the clouds as got in the kitchen. I was in a thoroughly disconcerted state of mind at this point. I did the Health Checks Again! Realised what the time was, before I took the medications, luckily.

A tad concerned about this, because I had not had any Dizzies or Funny Turns at all? Something else to mention to the Doctor. That is if the weather will let me get to see her on Wednesday.

Took this photograph, of the hoist below, where the workers were making there way up to remove the outer leaf of my front and bedroom walls. Hence, my fear of getting too cold when it is done, cause apparently, it stays like this for several days before the work is completed. Those who have had theirs done inform me. Not to mention the horrendous noise they have to make doing it.

I set about sorting the access to the bedroom (Spare room) and titivating things a bit. I was doing so well, then Dizzy Dennis gave me a visit. I pressed on afterwards to finish I hope, the clearance. But gave up thinking of doing any more.

Made a brew and got the computer on to update this post. I don’t know how I will manage for the next few days, cause I’ll be in the worker’s way and the dust and noise would prevent me working on the computer anyway. Fingers crossed, but I might have to give it a break for a while, and I do love doing this blog. I’ll see how it goes.

Updated to this point, and went on CorelDraw to do some Diary top graphics.

Got this one of Thomas finished and posted off to the site.

Nipped on Facebook, but things were sticking and oh so slow again. Came off and back to CorelDrawing.

So disappointing!

Back CorelDrawing.

Completed Sandies Latest Film.

Then got the nosh all ready for gobbling up.

I struggled to stay awake while I was cooking this meal.

1Mon09And when it came to settling in the £300 second-hand chair to watch a DVD and eat the meal, it was the same. In fact, I think I might have fallen asleep while consuming it.

I wobbled off into the kitchen to wash the plate and cutlery. Feeling remarkably contented for some unknown reason?

1Mon10The sky looked so beautiful tonight.

Feeling sure that I would get some sleep, due to my feeling drowsy so early, to be on safe side, I put the TV on. Anticipating the arrival of the land of Nod.

But no, somehow I stayed awake through nearly a full episode of ‘Hustle’!

I woke, hearing noises. But could not identify what they were or where they were from?

I got up to have a wee-wee, and had to change PPs due to some bleeding from the haemorrhoids, stubbed my toe on the way back, got down in the recliner, and knocked the bottle of lemon and lime spring water off of the Ottoman, swore to myself, got up and kitchen-towelled the carpet and got my head down again. Off to sleep in seconds, hours later than usual, but still.

Inchcock Today, Sun 4th December 2016: Nottingham City Homes repair man called and got the storage heater working, WC Porcelain Whoopsiedangleplop: best of all, I got to talk to Olive today.

7sun01

Sun 4th December 2016

Lithuanian: Saulė 4. 2016 Gruodis

0314hrs: Up and out of the £300 second-hand recliner in no time. Off for a WRHD session. A little easier this morning, compared to yesterday’s session, although another long job. Read a bit of the Clarkson book, and tried to recall the dreams again, without any luck. I hate that when sometimes I make notes if I wake up in between dreams or can even recall from memory some of them occasionally, then like the last couple of day, there is nothing there! Humph!

I didn’t seem so cold this morning, and this made me check to see if the storage radiators had come back on… no, of course not.

Computer turned on and did an extra post, a bad poem about Novembers Whoopsiedangleplops.

Had to tend to a second WRHD session, a lot worse than the first one, bloodier but not as painful. Old age eh? Huh!

Got the vegetables prepared and into the Crock-Pot. Parsnips, leeks, peas, red onions, carrots, cubed some potatoes and water chestnuts. Seasoned with beef so I can have a beef and potato stew of sorts later.

Did the diary updates, then went on Facebook… for three hours. Tsk!

dsc00387Put the towel on the  airer/dryer thingamabob to warm up in readiness for my shower and ablutionisationing session later.

Made another mug of tea and made the decision to go out for a walk in Woodthorpe Park today.

To see the tree copse and dogs walking their owners, I’ll take the camera with me. At this, I put the camera in the bag so I didn’t forget it later.

Then got myself prepared in the wet-room for a 7sun01agood showering, shaving and another sh… well, never mind. All cleaned and smelling fresh, I placed the bath towel onto the airer.

Got the bag ready to go and get some bits from Sherwood and get a bit of a walk in the park to see the dogs, then I went to see Olive at number 68.

Malcolm was there visiting and we all had a chinwag. When Olive heard that the repair men had not been out to me like they assured me they would yesterday, she got on the blower and told them, arranging, Bless her, for them to call after 1300hrs today to tend once again to the storage radiator.

I worked out I had plenty of time to get some shopping bits in (2hrs 10min) and get back before 1300hrs. Picked up some jars for the recycling bank to go with my ones. I thanked Olive, gave her a smacker on the lips and set off.

7sun02Someone had been busy decorating the lift and lobby area.

Caretakers, I suppose, we don’t see these very often lately around here. Nice for these invisible men to get treble time for Sundays

Someone told me they saw one of them actually smiling the other day, just seeing one now and then would do for me, so I could get help lifting and carrying when needed. Always costs one a decent ‘Tip-backhander’, but still, they made a decent job of the Christmas decorations considering what they had to work with. And of course, it makes the place look special – as folks don’t often see 1960’s decorations nowadays. Hehe!

Out and down Chestnut Walk, dropping the jars off at the bottle bank.

7sun02b

7sun02aRight down Winchester Street and just passed the bus stop, I turned back and took a photograph up the hill. When I got the camera out the road was full of traffic, soon as I got it ready they had all gone. A dodgy spot to cross the road here. The roadway beyond is even steeper and the vehicles come belting around the corner. Soon as I put the camera away the traffic started again. Tsk! Busy for a Sunday, although this photograph indicates not. Hehe!

Down onto Mansfield Road and into the Co-op Store – I didn’t buy anything, just had a nosey. Out and up the hill into the Wilko, where I got a bottle of Dettol lavender, Touch-Screen Wipes and toothpaste. Up to the Bugeon Store, bought nothing.

7sun03Out and up through Woodthorpe Park.

Loved watching the dogs having fun.

Down towards the flats and took a picture of my beloved little Tree Copse. Looking ultra thin now and perhaps a bit sad.

Down to the flats in plenty of time to be in when the Repairman calls (12040hrs)

Attended to the urgent call for a WRHD session.

7sun04Oh, dearie me… yet another Whoopsiedangleplop!

Found that the toilet bowl was leaking! Not too severely, but nonetheless worrying.

Cleaned it up and put down paper towels, which were soon soaked again. I’ll have to ask Olive or Deana to give the Repair Team another call for me. Fed-up with things going wrong!

Got the meal cooking and put the evening medications in a pot near the £300 second-hand recliner for later.

7sun06

Put my finger on this printing to show how small it really is! Humph!

The NCH repairman arrived and within a  few seconds he’d worked out that the first repairman who I waited 30 days for and came four days ago, had turned off the power at the electricity box to work on the radiator and not turned it back on. He said it should be working tonight.

He kindly read the instructions on the Screen Cleaner Wipes out to me, cause the print is so very small.

7sun05Got the fodder served up.

Enjoyed this effort with relish.

Minced beef, Crock-Pot vegetables; Onions, carrots, peas, green beans, parsnips and leeks. Oven chips and cubed boiled potatoes. Lemon Drizzle to follow.

Worth all the preparation and cleaning up afterwards this one was. Rated it at 9.69/10.

I didn’t find out until the morning, but I missed taking the evening medications. Humph!

Innit marvellous, I finally get the storage heater going, and then the bloody toilet starts leaking! I may have said this before, but I’m fed-up with calamities and Whoopsiedangleplops!

Tried watching some TV, but spent most of the viewing time nodding off.

Friday 2nd December 2016 – Inchcock Today: Indoors, Whoopsiedangleplops, Frustration, Bleeding and lonely Day. Humph!

5fri02

Friday 2nd December 2016

Greek: Παρασκευή 2 Νοεμ, 2016

0300hrs: Woke with a jump. Thought a moment, trying to claw back the memories of the dreams I was again certain I’d been having, but with no luck at all. The needs for a WRHD session forced me to climb out of the £300 second-hand recliner, which worked perfectly this morning I might add, and off to the wet-room. Where the most worrying event of the week so far took place. The struggle to pass and the copious bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harold frit me a bit. So much so, I took a photograph to show to the doctor of the blood in the WC bowl and the paper used. Gawd, I hope this doesn’t happen next time.

5fri02Took an extra senna tablet with the morning medications. Also found that the Friday pot of medicines was empty? I think I may have taken two lots yesterday morning perhaps.

This might be why I was in such a depressed mood? I took the days medications from the drawer below with the packets and pots in and took them.

Looks like a pharmacy when I open these drawers. Hehe!

The temperature was higher in the kitchen today. 60°f. The radiator that was ‘repaired’ yesterday is still not working. Left the little oil-filled one I had to buy on 24/7.

Had to have a good few WRWWs during the morning, all day for that matter. Little Inchy was red, raw and tender, but only leaking blood from the lesion a little… yet. Just as well, cause with what I lost yesterday and this morning flood of blood, things might get serious.

5fri03

Both arrived within minutes of each other too?

Finished the diary for Thursday off and got it posted. Checked the emails. One of which confused me from British Gas. I clicked the link, signed in to see my account as the option in the email suggested. This told me I was in debt by £195.03. I printed this off. The letter they sent me told me I was £329.03 in debt?

This confused me.

Did some graphicalisationing, then started this diary off and went on Facebook for a while. A long, long while, but I enjoyed it. Got some TFZ graphics completed and posted on Facebook.

Here’s a couple of them.

whojanllansjoyce whotomandRang Olive to explain why I was not visiting but got no answer. Did an email to Obergupenfurheress Deana about the heater not working.

Around 1100hrs, still no nurse or delivery arrived and the heater that had been supposedly reset still not working, I got the ablutions done, a stand-up job today in case anyone came while I was in the shower. Left the door open so I could hear the bell if they did. They didn’t.

5fri04Spent a few hours sorting the paperwork I’d let myself get behind with. Naughty Boy!

Not an easy task for someone with mu memory – or rather, lack of remembrance. Hehe!

Felt a bit hassled by it all and went to make a cup of char, calling into for a WRWW en route, to find that Little Inchy’s lesion was leaking a bit again.

Had a look around outside with the binoculars, while the kettle was boiled, well, the water in the kettle boiled.

5fri05Noticed this pail of smoke to the far left and maybe 8-10 miles or so away I’d guess.

I put the radio on while I drank the mug of tea and waited for the news, but nothing was mentioned.

Back in the none-heated front room and turned on the little oil-filled mobile radiator heater, as still, there was no heat from the repaired storage heater. Humph!

5fri06Looked out at the smoke again.

It didn’t seem to get a lot worse but continued as the gentle winds blew it along.

Most irritating no knowing what was occurring.

Tsk!

5fri04

Partially sorted the paperwork, then the Whoopsidangleplops occurred!

I thought about finishing off the paperwork sorting out but ended up updating this diary instead.

Guilt forced me to stop and do the paperwork.

Of course, as is to be expected from me lately, I regretted doing it when I dropped the box from the shredder as I tried to empty it into the black bag.

This was only the first Whoopsiedangleplop, mind. I diligently picked up the shredded paper and placed it carefully into the black bag… only to carry it into the kitchen and lost most of the shredded paper through the hole in the bottom of the black bag!

Getting all het-up now! Sorted it out again and put that black bag into another one after checking for any holes in that one. I could not take them or anything to the chute in case the nurse or delivery arrived.

5fri07Aha! Thought I, noise from the area of the door – joy… but no, it was the postman with two identical and unwanted copies in different wrappings of the Age UK Life magazine.

I flicked through the contents: 1: Fundraising and how I can help them support Age UK. 2: Real Life with running man Bill Mitchell. 3: Life Lines: Combatting loneliness. 4: How My Gift can help the lonely. 5: What’s coming up on the radio. 6: Real-life research stories. 7: Wise Words, David Attenborough on his greatest Passions, and finally Ester Rantzen discusses living ith loneliness. A great selection there to cheer me up and solve my loneliness and frustrations of late? Ah well, never mind.

5fri081438hrs: Delivery man with the Airer/Dryer arrived as I was on Facebook.

So now, I’m in the middle Facebooking, I’ll have more paperwork to finish sorted (Eventually), and I decided to nip to see Olive first. Who was in and rang the repairs for me, to find that Deana had already called them and they would be here within 4 hours. Gave Olive my thanks and a kiss as she sent me back to the flat in case they or the nurse arrived.

I updated this and finished the Facebooking and updated this.

5fri09Had a look at the airer/dryer to see if I could assemble it on me own.

No problems as such, no tools needed or required either. And it was so easy to crush the right thumb between the metal bars and open the scar from my cut as I squashed it up after seeing how it operated.

I hope this will come in handy after a shower, and before one too, to warm up the towels in the future? And of course, if I wash out any bits I can wring them out and try to see if this dries them enough?

It folds flat for storage but is a bit of a devil to erect again with the rubbish clips not sliding too easily. If Arthur Itis is alright on the day, it should be workable quickly enough. I hope.

5fri10Finished off the paperwork sorting and went to make a cuppa as the light faded. The white smoke was visible still from whatever caused it.

The white smoke was visible still from whatever caused it.

Took a photo without zooming in so much this time.

Wondering when the repair men will call to look at the radiator? I wanted to get the dinner going, but no good doing it and then them arriving is it?

The four hours was up now. Will they be calling or not?

Weeks ago, Deana rang them to tell them about the radiator not working. (28 days away).

They said they would supply me with a heater to use in the meantime. They Didn’t!

So I had to pay for and order a heater to be delivered which was due to be delivered a week last Saturday. Amazon delivered it to the wrong block of flats. I had to carry the chair then the heater from there back to my own flat. (Made me a bit poorly in doing so).

Sunday I fell over and damaged my knee.

Wednesday a chap came along to investigate the problem and told me it had tripped out. I asked why he did not know. All okay now, it should be back on Thursday night. Showed and set the controls for all my radiators for me.

This afternoon (Friday) I let Deana know by email that it was still not working and went to see Olive to ask her if she could ring for me. They told her someone had already rung (Deana), and they would be here within four hours to have another look at it.

Back to the flat and waited.

Now the four-hour promise has been broken as I still await their arrival, and am going to cook my dinner and see if they will arrive at all?

What idiot said old age would let you take things easier?

No sign of any repairmen whatsoever.

If I watch TV, I need the headphones on, which means it will be even harder to hear the door chime – in the unlikely event that anyone comes of course – pee’d off again now.

5fri11Had to eat the dinner standing up in the kitchen, in case I fell asleep sat down eating it.

It was grand as well, possibly the best stew and chips I’ve ever made.

Couldn’t enjoy the stew as much as I should have, though, because I was stewing inside! (A little play on words there did you see? Hehe!)

No one came, no nurse, no repairman, no cuddly ladies… and still no heat from the storage radiator. Hehehe!

Gave up hopes and wrapped up in gloves, woolly hat, jammies and dressing gown. Hours later than I do usually.

Put the TV and headphones on and managed to stay awake for a bit of the Hetty Wainthrop Investigates episode…

Inchcock Today Thu 2 June 2016: Hectic day again… Tsk!

Thursday 2nd June 2016

Up 0450hrs. Manoeuvred out of the second hand £300 recliner chair and to the porcelain throne. I remembered about the bathroom door being the other way around this time. No bleeding from either of the lower region areas, good! But the knees were getting a lot of bother from Arthur Itis again.

Put the kettle on, got the ablution items as needed. Then took the medications.

Sorted the nibbles into the bag, for the Tenants Social Hour later.

biJill

Janet Arron and Henry

Laptop on and did some TFZ graphicalisationing, Emails, WordPressing and even had a go on Tetris.

This one of the graphics I got done, it is of Janet Arron, a beauty from the TFZ site, with Henry, her adorable impish kitten.

An official letter arrived, from the Police Pegasus team, they wanted an update on the details held.

Deana

Deana, Interviewing me!

0805hrs: Kevin, my maintenance man, arrived, made him a cuppa, and we had a chinwag. He set to working.

0909hrs; Deana Walker came to do the tenants interview.

She also supplied her details for me to put on the Trusted Contacts list on Pegasus for the Nottingham Chief Constable.

We managed to have a natter, in between the official form filling, well, entering it onto her laptop.

Bless her cotton socks.

The Dynamic Drill

Kev worked on the tiling in the bathroom for a couple of hours.

Then he fetched the gigantic drill in, got his helmet, ear muffs and smoke mask on and started digging away kindly keeping the bathroom door closed while he did so.

Looked to me that he was doing a good job of the tiles.

He then started on the drilling of the floor.

I observed that the door opened and concealed the light switch string behind it.

304 2

Light switch cord is now is hidden behind the door. Kevin pointed out that an electrician will be coming to move the switch to the other side later on some time.

I set off for the Tenants Social Hour at the community shed.

So few folks there today, I reckon no more than 15 in all?

I missed the raffle and forgot to pay for my tea – Oh dear. I’ll pay double next week.

We all seemed to be happy and made the best of it, though.

I got myself ready and set off to the bus stop for the trip to the clinic.

Bid Kevin farewell and down to the foyer, where I had a gossip with some fellow tenants, and we all left to catch the bus.

I was soon at the clinic. Booked me in, and took a seat in the waiting area. I was called in shortly. By a different doctor again, I’ve never seen the same doctor more than once at this clinic. The usual embarrassing examinations under highly lit magnifying tubes by several female attendants. Many, oohs and ahs later, they decided I should continue with the same treatment, and I was sent off.

Slab Square dancing today

Bus into town and went to the bank for some cash first. Then had a wander around.

There were some dancers in the slab square near the temporary food courts, and so many of the Nottinghamians joined in.

I went in Primark to get some more loose fitting undies, but they had none in stock. Tsk! I did get some of the warm long sleeved shirts. I got three while they had them in stock, at £6 each.

P1110001Out and went to the Spar shop to get one of their £1 bacon butties as a treat.

They were giving away copies of the sun for free!

I also got one of the TV papers for next week, like the one I got last week, like this one, although more costly, is so much easier to read.

I surreptitiously slipped the pigeons some pellets.

Caught the L9 bus back to the flats.

P1090088By gum, Kevin has been so busy today.

The tiles were nearly finished, the floor had been readied for the application of the shower tiles.

Made him a cuppa and managed a chinwag.

He told me of his camera, a Nikon Bridge P900 model. I looked them up on the web and was very impressed with them.

He’s going to bring his in tomorrow and show me the workings. Kind of him that. I reckon when I get the curtains sorted, one of these might be my expenditure?

P1110002

He left it all neat and tidy again. Even put a board down so I didn’t fall into the hole in the floor and warned me about it.

Laptop on and updated this claptrap.

Got the oven warming up, to cook the meal for tonight.

Too tired now to do any more graphics.

Checked the TV paper to see if owt worth watching might be on the goggle-box tonight.

Ah, of course, the England Match vs. Portugal. I hope they haven’t found another Eusébio da Silva Ferreira? Hehe! A bit too tasty he was on the pitch he was!

P1110003Got the nosh done and watched the match eating from a tray on my knee on the second-hand £300 recliner… Luxury!

What a disappointing match it was!

No bread was eaten with this excellent meal again tonight.

(Smug Mode Adopted, Hehe!)

The early dreams were of my labascating down cliffs and off of buildings again, but never landing anywhere, just moved onto another thing to fall off of?

Hey-ho!

Inchcock Today Wed 1 June 2016: Whoopsiedangleplop, Busy, Mayhem and Confusion, but it doesn’t matter, I met Olive today!

Wednesday 1st June 2016

04

Stirred into life around 0445hrs, sat thinking of the dreams a while, lost the memories. Moved on to thinking what the day ahead needed doing or worrying about.

I told the Nottingham City Homes repair bloke last night as he left that I would need to be leaving the flat by 0830hrs to get to my INR blood test. He said an electrician would be coming today. He took my extra door key as he wasn’t sure if he’d be here by that time?

So, I’ll have to leave them both in the flat and just hope they are honest.

The second hand £300 recliner was already in the down position when I tried to lower it?

I got the cleaning stuff from the bedroom and moved them into the kitchen ready for my ablutions later, made a cuppa and took the medications.

Put some toilet paper in the barren bathroom in case the bloke needed it then.

Got the laptop on and did the diaries and downloaded the bathroom pictures for the camera ready for the ‘Shower Conversion Special’ creation then.

A farcical wash at the kitchen sink, during which I had to fetch things from the bedroom many times that I’d forgot to have ready, like; Pain gel, ear spray, towel (honestly, humph) and scrubbing brush. I’ve left them on a trolley in the kitchen now, so I hopefully don’t fuss about so much, over the next coming couple of days.

Set off well wrapped up in the rain, on the walk to the surgery, met the unhappy looking this morning Maintenance man as he arrived at the flats.

P1090056

The rain abated as I got over the last hill and down into Carrington proper. The walk to the Doctors went well until the feet started playing up just before I arrived there.

Considering it was around 0910hrs, there were not many vehicles or even pavement cyclists anywhere in sight?

The walk to the Doctors went well until the feet started playing up just before I arrived there.

The nurse soon sorted my blood tests out, even saw me earlier than the appointment was for. In no time it seemed I was out of the building and walking down to the shops to go to Lidl for some fodder.

Ended up getting two small cobs, some prepared fresh vegetables I could roast today, a large tomato and two bananas. (How the other half live eh!) And, as far as I could tell, none of the staff sneered at me or overcharged me today! Well done Lidl!

Caught the bus back into Sherwood, and called into Holland & Barrett to get some Japanese rice crackers. As I entered the store, I noticed a lady passing by down the hill with three dogs on one lead. The assistant at the shop resigned me up for their Loyalty Card because I’d lost the original one. Tsk!

P1090057Leaving the shop, I couldn’t resist taking this photographicalisation of the three dogs where she had tied the lead to while she popped in a store.

Strikes me that these three animals are not keen on each other?

Hehehe! The little on was at risk if a car chose to park in that lay-by, so I went to try and encourage the little darling to stand on the pavement, he displayed his teeth at me, and I left him alone standing in the road. The other two showed no interest in my attendance.

P1090058Walked across the pelican lights and back up the hill and over and down to Woodthorpe Grange Park entrance, and up the tree-lined footpath.

Now the rain had stopped for a good while, the air was fresh, a bit windy mind, but not really cold with it.

Had a look at some of the dogs wagging their tails and chasing balls, amazing how some of them never take the ball back to their owner?

P1090059Up to the turn off to the right to go down the gravel footpath and the wind really was blowing there.

High branches and thousands of twigs and leaves scattered the area. I considered walking down through the copse, but decided against it, the wind and that like.

Down the hill and into the flats lobby. A quick check in the laundry room revealed one washing machine free, so, up to the apartment and no maintenance man on site, but he’d locked the door behind him. Got the washing and went down and got it going on quick-mode. Took my Victoria Wood book with me to read. While doing so, ensconced in one of the chairs reading, Deana the flats coordinator approached me. She needed to interview me and said she’d call a 0900hrs in the morning? Gave her some nibbles. Moved the washing into the dryer, set it going and went back upstairs and got the laptop on and updated this tosh. The maintenance man had returned and was busy working away.

55 minutes later (this dryer take 60 minutes), I popped down as the chap was going for his nosh, to collect the dried washing. The machine had finished quicker than usual, and a lady had taken my laundry out and put it on the draining board so she could use the device. I thanked her.

My beautiful neighbour from the  12th floor, Olive, was having her hair done next door. I realised I had not taken the laundry bag with me to collect the clothes in (Tsk), so I went back up along with Olive in the lift. As we got out fo it, she sad she had left her walking stick downstairs. I said I’d fetch it for her when I go down to fetch my laundry. To the flat and got the bag, down to the laundry room and collected Olive’s stick and the laundry and took the stick to Olive’s flat.,

Got the laundry into the airing cupboard, and the laptop on to update this again.

I put away the fodder and cleaned the Crock-Pot and sink area.

The maintenance man returned. The electrician arrived, no introduction or words, he just came in and got on with whatever it was he wanted to do? Waylay that comment, it was a bloke who got the wrong flat, no electrician arrived today at all.

Worked on the TFZ graphics, about half way through now.

1525hrs: The carpenter come plumber bloke told he was leaving, going to get some stuff for tomorrow.

I got the vegetables in the oven, checked the paper for any TV I wanted to watch, and there was a lot – whether I’ll stay awake long enough, though…

P1090064Updated this to here and got the nosh ready.

This was my first time trying courgettes, I was not impressed and blame these on the return of the runs later. Hehe!

Did the washing up and settled in the working again second-hand £300 recliner, and the instant I turned on the gogglebox to watch some more of the Pie in the Sky DVD, the stomach churned and I extracted myself from the chair and hurriedly made my way to the throne – I came very close to a Whoopsiegangleplop incident, and only made it in time with seconds to spare! One big gurgle and splat and it was all over, no bleeding from the Haem Aroids mind.

The reason for this near disaster? The maintenance man had swapped the bathroom door to open from the right to the left! Those precious few seconds when my muddled brain fought to understand why the door handle had disappeared could have proved Whoopsiedangleplop-worthy. Haha!

I assume because I had not got any exercise in today, this was the reason one could not get to sleep, well gone midnight before I got off to kip. Then had so many calls to the porcelain, I left the recliner in the lower position – Humph!

Inchcock Today Tue 31 May 16: The demolition starts!

Tuesday 31 May 2016

01

Up at 0455hrs, straight to the bathroom and the throne. Well, I say straight. After I’d fought with the mechanism of the secondhand £300 recliner chair and freed myself from it.

Haem Aroids bleeding again, Anne Gyna not very happy either.

Made a cuppa and took the medications.

Had what will, or should be my last bath (So sad). Cleared put the things from the bathroom. (Arthur Itis was not too pleased with me doing so, Hehe).

P1090050Did some WordPressing the made another cup of tea.

Got the vegetables prepared and into the Crock-pot in slow mode.

Looking out of the window, the colours looked wonderful. But the trees and bushes blowing about in the wind made me feel rather glad I wasn’t going out today. Although tomorrow I’ve got the INR blood tests, Thursday the Social Hour and to collect Siste Janes pressies from Asda, and Friday the Clinic. I’ll just have to risk it and leave the demolition men on their own?

(No signs of the NCH demolition chaps yet) I sorted the rubbish bags and took them to the chute.

Worked on the Bathroom post and got it done. Just a daft ode I thought was aa03Rachelfunnyish.

0925hrs: The Nottingham City Home plumber man arrived. Not happy that it was a high rise flat he had to work on. Gave him a cup of tea and he told me that Thursday or Friday would be the worst day for noise, he has to start drilling to do the floor in the bathroom.

Glad to report he’s a tea lover, so gave him several in the large mug using demerara sugar and he liked them. The smell of the Crock-Pot was driving him crazy. (Me too)

biMarie

I spent virtually all day doing TFZ graphics, I’m hoping to do one of each of the members and ask for up to a three-word comment from the others, for a bit of fun like.

Cost me many enjoyable hours, here are just two of them completed.

These I thought, came out okayish.

I don’t want to show them yet, as I am only about halfway through by the time sleep was demanded by my body and mind.

2aThis second one I did, I converted to sepia to see how it would look.and reckon it is

I like doing sepia ones, trying to make them look aged.

Adding the food to this one gave me some hassle and it isn’t perfect by a long way, but the subjects (TFZ gals and guys) are.

The Carpenter chap had a final cuppa and departed about 1625hrs, and tried to clean up after himself.

Seems a nice chap.

P1090055

Got the vegetable stew served up, and boy it was gorgeous!

The leeks were excellent.

Took the medications and watched some of the ‘Pie In The Sky’ episodes.

I soon nodded off but woke with a start an hour or so later… I’d had an early dream about falling down cliffs and riverbanks while trying to evade folks chasing me again?

I lay there a while, trying to extrapolate enough facts from what I’ve read about the Euro referendum to try and make up my mind which way to vote.

I’m still not decided.

Tsk!

The latest Nottingham City Homes Repair Farce – Inchcock Today Wed 13 Apr 16

03 02 boot

G Dec

Wednesday 13th April 2016

I woke around 0245hrs, actually sweating, shaking and with Little Inchy in a right bloodied state. The dream I’d been having felt horrendous, once more the rooftops and cliff ledges were involved?

To the bathroom and titivated things up. Returned to my 1959 imitation leather armchair and was soon off into the land of nod again.

I sprang awake at 0440hrs, details of the new dream were sketchy, something about me being in a factory and unable to get things done? To the WC for a heavy duty job, haemorrhoids, and Little Inchy both bleeding again.

A bit misty again this morning, a strange blue hue in the sky?

Went to make a cuppa and take the medications and noticed the state of the kitchen, with stuff all over the place that I had removed from the cupboards P1060066to allow access to the hole in the wall for the Nottingham City Homes man when he comes later today.

Still some bins, pans, kettle, etc. to move out of the way before the man arrives.

The bins need emptying and taking to the rubbish chute too. Still, the mess from the silly Whoopsiedangleplop cleaning up from yesterday has dried nicely.

A busy period was coming up for me after the maintenance chap is finished tending to the hole in the outer wall that’s letting in the draughts. Assuming he does anything, of course, this will be the fifth time that they have been summoned to look at my problem, and they have only done the lower of the two gigantic holes – and that still lets the wind in!

Made another cup of tea, and Anne Gyna started giving me grief.

Got the laptop on and got the Inchcock Today for yesterday finished, then started on this one.

Cleared away the other stuff in readiness for the reluctant repair man coming between 12.30 and 1630hrs.

Got myself bathed and abluted, medicated the bleeding areas (Painful that), Hehe!

Took the rubbish to the chute and called at Olive’s flat, but she was not in.

Awaiting the arrival of the NCH Repairman.

Cup of char and back on the laptop. Did some Facebooking for a good while.

Still awaiting the arrival of the NCH Repairman.

Did some self-teaching on the new CorelDraw 8.

The intercom rang, and the chap came to look at the problem.

001He left to fetch a can of filler.

He returned and applied the filler into the hole, kindly taking off the part air vent with a screwdriver and dropping bits all over the floor, window ledge, worktop and electric sockets as he did so.

01WHe threw the lump of filler into the sink as he unsuccessfully tried to stop it coming out and even further down the wall.

He said: “I cannot put the vent cover back on, but it dries in an hour and you can cut off any overspill then and sand it down!” I couldn’t even stretch up that high without being in pain, Tsk!

The filler that had been thrown in the sink, I had to take out because I thought if it went down the plug hole it might block the pipes as 01W02it swells out more?

He left me an artistically designed load of crap on the worktop bless him.

As I tried to clean the sticky mess up on the sink, worktops and power sockets, etc. I made a right mess of my hands too. Sticky goo!

01W03The mess on the sockets will have to wait until later, as I was making it worse by trying to clean it before it had dried?

I thought.

I had to stick paper towel around the falling-out-filler-foam, then I stuck the cover back on in a fashion temporarily. This seems to have stopped it now?

01W03aI’ll have to wait and see how it goes I suppose.

The sink is in a right state though.sand

I tried soda crystals, washing up liquid, bleach, elbow grease and swearing a bit, but it looks like it is staying where it is.and

It looks horrible too! Stained and marked for life!

I assembled the rubbish left for me to sort out and filled a black bag with the stuff – including, by the way, £3 worth of kitchen 01W04towels used up to now in my efforts to clean the place after he’d gone.

I felt a little sad at how things had turned out with the repair farce.

The sink was stained badly, but I might be able to tackle that when things dry off completely.

I’d put the vent back on after much painful effort, but it was now facing the wrong way, into the kitchen as opposed to into the cupboard.

The cupboard next to the vent was matted with the horrible filler and I could not get to it, let alone remove it.

I filled a black bag with residues, leftovers and used kitchen towels.

P1060062P1060076

Took the bins to the chute and called to see if Olive was at home on the way.

She was in, so I suggested I swap the new big orange slow cooker, and she hands me her old little old one. She agreed, bless her. So I felt like I’d done her a favour, but she’d helped me more, because the new one was far too big for me, and she has a gigantic freezer so she can cook larger lots meals to freeze and save herself time. All good!

The Social Hour Meeting tomorrow, I mustn’t forget this. (He says hopefully, hehe!)

I got the lamb casserole out of the fridge, only to find that it was six days out of date! Seem to have got things a bit mixed up there. Tsk!

P1060077So, I put a tin of mini hot dog sausages in the saucepan and flavoured a tin of tomatoes with basil, salt and black pepper and warmed them both up for me second choice evening fodder.

Had a lemon yoghourt for afters.

Do you know, I really enjoyed this meal, have to give it a 9.2/10 rating.

Tired now after all the cleaning and clearing up after the messy maintenance man.

I’m not going to complain officially. Because he was a polite young man, and my EQ told me he was a bit embarrassed by his failure and the predicament he’d left me in.

I tried to get to kip without any luck for several hours. I tried watching the TV, reading and DVD viewing, well gone midnight before I got off, then the dreams started.
