A proper short one this time, sorry.
But, it took me that long to get the.
Monday blog updated (15:00hrs) & I
must rush cause I’m out tomorrow for
the Covid booster. TTFN.

Up at 03:30hrs: Worked on yesterday’s ode until 05:30hrs. Then off to the Porcelain Throne. Easier today! I set the alarm off by accident in the dressing stage, didn’t know I’d done it, but I thought I heard a voice in the flat. Had a look around and saw the alarm box flashing. Apologised.

Morning Views

Richard arrived, Yawningly – he was so tired. But, we managed a little natter and laugh, even a moan about things to each other. He was reluctant to take the freebies in thanks, but I sulked, and he took them. Hehe!

Was noisy again.

I literally got lost in everything I tried to do today.

Got a call from a woman. The only words I caught were Virgin Media?

I got some potatoes on with the black bean sauce; I hope it works out alright.

In the amber, nearly the green!

Grrreat!

PHOTOS?

CARE IS DUE SOON MUST GET SOME MOSH SORTED

Just getting the meal served up, and Kylie arrived.

She helped me prep the meal. Then got the medications given. Had a laugh and natter, which was nice. Took the bags with her as she left.

Back to the meal, for me.

I soon demolished it!

COST OF LIVING
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I was deep in the Land-of-Nod; burst forth from the door chime, I wriggled with embarrassment in the ÂŁ300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, bleak, crumb-containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner0 Realising I had not unlocked the door, I rose up onto my feet, a little too quickly and, fell back down into the recliner, and poor old paid the price, as they started to trickle out warm blood into the Protection Pants. I was well pleased I had them on!
Even poorer, Car Richard has to wait so long for me to get to the door (Sorting the piles and new pants on); I thought he might ask me if he could have a shave. Hahaha! He’d waited that long to get in!

Things were hectic, and so much going wrong; I didn’t even start this blog until Wednesday. The many problems start here, but will be in the short form to save time, else I’ve never gotten around to doing today’s blogs started either!

Richard seemed in and out quickly today, but of course, I was and got more confused as the day went on. Humph!
After Richard had gone (A lot of writhing on the memory pad about Richards’s visit, but was unreadable).
Got the Health Checks done.
, and got dressed, mostly in a haze. I found a few later on.
Mug of tea and started the Ode for Tuesday. (Which, I’ve only just finished 05:00hrs Wednesday Morning!!!

The doctor phoned: Told her of the Paramedics and the Gyna. Lansoprozole Capsule to be increased straight away, 15 to 30ml. She told me to call the Surgery reception and book a Face to Face meeting regarding the results of the Severe Frailty Test. It sounded like an order from Hitler and had a tinge of a threat in it? Hahaha! The problem now; is to get hold of ILC (Independent Living Coordinator), OberstgrĂĽppenfuhreress, Warden and Primo Ballerina, Warden Deana, to ask for help phoning. Also, is the left arranged for the Covid booster jab?

So, I rang Deana to ask about the lift first, and hose said she’ll ring Easy-Lift… is that their name?
To ring me back, must remember to ask her to call the wack to make a face-to-face meeting.

I took the photos on the left here while making a brew of Thompson’s Punjana tea.
A lot of vehicles parked up this morning.

I have a bit of a possible Memory Blank here. What bit of writing there is on the notepad is ridiculously deciphered, scrawled and unintelligible.

I vaguely recall going to the Porcelain Throne for a second time, but have no idea; how things went.

The next thing readable on the memory prompt pad was that the intercom flashed
It was the Asda food order that had arrived.
Five substitutions; one was sent back, Chicken sauce for BBQ?
Most of Richard’s treats had arrived.
Beef in black bean sauce.
An eight-pack of tangy Cumberland sausages. Glad I got the belly pork for Richard; I know he said how much he liked them, hope I got the right flavour.
The Lemon Soya desserts look interesting; they have a long date on them, so I’ll eat the vegan lemon yoghourts first.
The new 7-Mediterranean Vegetable sauce with basil came, but I have doubts about my decision to try this one. Just a feeling that I’ll not like it?
Had to make do with BBQ sauces of brands substituted that I’ve never tried as well.
A feeling I’ve eased my money here!

The bag of small potatoes didn’t look too fresh.
I’ll try them tomorrow, all being well. But I’ve my doubts over how fresh they are and will last? I’ll ask Richards, if he comes, to check the dates for me.

Got the things stored away in the fridge and cupboards. Drank the cold tea.

And meandered into the balcony to take a snap of the end car park again.

Wowser! The spiders from somewhere had been busy.
I took a close-up view of the car park. Three vehicles, one parked perfectly and two not so perfectly. Hehe!

Then, I foolishly took out the SD card from the Lumix camera and put it in the reader to download later.

I took the mug to be washed. I’d left the window open, and I must have had 40 or 50 meat flies of varying sizes in the kitchen Heck of a time-consuming effort to get rid of them!

ILC (Independent Living Coordinator), OberstgrĂĽppenfuhreress, Warden and Primo Ballerina, just married Warden Deana phoned to say she had arranged the lift for the Covid booster on the 20th, and the Diabetes Riverside for the 28th, Bless her cotton socks. I asked if she could also call the Quack for a Face to Face meeting for the results of the Frailty Assessment on the 24th. She kindly said she would come up later.

Then, my bugbear, as it is to thousands of other idiots who unknowingly joined Virgin Media: Before Liberty-Global, led by the smoke & mirrors, number-crunching, blurring of facts & figures, hocus-pocus, nod & a wink, mumbo-jumbo, misleading $23.6m a year, plus bonuses and an expense account salaried Mike Fries bought-out Virgin Media. And has done such a clinically-perfect job of destroying the previously good reputation of the company by proving does not have the know-how or qualities to get a signal to Nottingham for a whole day! In fact, LIBERTY-Global Virgin Media goes down diurnally! Today three times, for a total of approximately four & a half hours! Sad, pathetic! But of course, I believe there is a larger reason for this miserable performance. Chicanery, double-speaking and thaumaturgy-practising financial manipulators such as Fries is bound to have another plan that will make even more money for Liberty-Global. That is, if Virgin Media last long enough. Or maybe that’s part of his underhand scheme and design for them to go bankrupt?

ILC (Independent Living Coordinator)  OberstgrĂĽppenfuhreress, Warden and  Primo Ballerina, Warden Deana, and ILC (Independent Living Coordinator) Generaloberstess, Ice skating champion florist and Warden Julie arrived. Without their help, I’d be in the right pickle & mess! ♥

Sinead arrived; I was half asleep at the time after having to close down the computer after Mr Fries’s inability to get a signal through to Nottingham again shone miserably through… I’d nodded off! She is a lovely gal who always cheers me up when she comes. We had a natter and laugh about nothing and everything. I insisted on nibble giving, in thanks. Sinead took the waste bags with her when she left. I do appreciate a few minutes to chinwag and laugh with the carers, you know. But I can do I not push it. Went to get a meal started, and I took this rather decent snap of the evening view.

Aha! I got the meal cooked, but not without an of sorts, and a realisation that the Asda brown cobs were unbelievably crap!
The thing that pee’d me off most, though, was when I put the NoMeat meat slices in the oven, I thought, “Ah, that’s an idea; I’ll spray some olive oil onto them as I put them in the oven.”
Not a good idea; I discovered it too late! When it came to taking out the NoMeat slices, they had seemingly welded and concreted into the oven tray! There followed a series of & , what literally amazed even me; and I’m the famously unlucky one, but I was amazed at how many came within minutes of each other!

â‘  I burnt several finger ends chiselling out the NoMeat from the reluctant-to-let-them-go tray.
② Put the tray in the sink to soak and realised that the black coating on the tray had lost lumps of whatever it was painted on them. I thought I was rather cunning here and put the slices; well, they were bits by then in the microwave to keep warm. It took me ages to get the bits of black stuff off of them. Still, a !
③ Wrapped up the burnt-up, misshaped tray in a few bags and put them in a big waste bag to go down the chute in the morning. As I turned back towards the sink… It only lasted a few seconds, but was enough to have me over!
④ I’d learnt from past tumbles in the kitchen that by far the easiest… no, least painful way to get back up is using the front of the sink with both hands and hauling myself back onto my feet that way. So I did!
⑤ However, as I struggled to heave the body mass up, the left hand slipped and went into the sink with the dirty water, bleach and soda in it I’d used to try and clean the tray with. If you know anyone who would like a partly-disintegrated pyjama top or bleach-shredded bottoms, let me know, please. !
⑥ I ditched the pyjamas, wrapped them up in two bags, and then into a larger one to go to the chute in the morning. Humph! Reset the timer on the microwave that was keeping the slices warm; they looked passable on this check.
⑦ As I was changing into new PPs, I smelt something not right… I’d left the beans on the heat in a saucepan!
⑧ Into the kitchen and added some citric acid to the beans, with some passata, crenellated, and stirred the beans to break them up. Burning the same two fingers that I burnt in the oven tray! Cleaned and applied some Germolene.
⑨ I managed to salvage some of the beans and sauce. But had to add another small can and mixed them in. Got the meal served up, and it didn’t look too bad. I thought I’d done a decent job of rescuing things…

â‘© Until it came to eating it. Instantly, at the fork spoonful of the beans – I’ve never tasted anything so foul in a long time!; Then, kicked off, quickly followed by .

I think some bleach might have found its way into the brown cobs as well!

I put the meal into a small bag, then a stronger blue one, and then in a black bag to go down to the chute in the morning. The morning Carer is going to get a shock, Hehehe!

As I checked the kitchen to make sure the taps and oven were not left on, the sink and floor had been cleaned up, and the window was shut too!

I got down into the c1968 recliner, in need of rest, if not sleep!
But, no! was showing no signs of allowing me to nod off!
Turned on the . I suppose because of the calamity with the meal, I had no option but to respond each time by worrying about things like, ‘Did I check the wet room sink?’
‘Is the oven turned off?’. ‘Did I take the Peptac?’ Where did I put the camera?’ ‘Did I close the balcony windows?’ ‘What day & time is the Booster for?’ What’s that noise I can hear?’ ‘Did I leave the heater on in the wet room?… on and on they flowed, and I meekly checked for whatever the concern was every time one came to me.
Not only did I tire myself out with my tramping into every room in the flat and back to the ÂŁ300, second-hand, musty, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, cringingly beige, crumb-covered, not-working, rickety recliner. Constantly for what seemed ages. But in the process, I got a , and walked into the doorframe, setting off!
It reminded me that I’d mentioned to the Doctor on the phone about all this malarkey. I’m glad I did but did she listen? She said not a word about it when I mentioned it to her.
Then the arrived. At least for a while, I stopped getting up to check on things. How the mind seeks out so easily the slightest things that you have any concerns over is distressing. Well, the fact that one can’t stop them is more annoying!
Then, another arrived in the brain… ‘Did I lock the door?’. So off again to check… I hadn’t, as it happens – so I did!

On the way back to the recliner, I espied a late night sky I thought worthy of photographicalisationing. So, I did.

The Lumix was in auto-mode as I took the picture. It made the photo much more bright and light than it looked to my eyes.
Back into the recliner, brain-drained and so tired-out. However, the had at last departed… Now my mission was to get to sleep before the ing started again!

Which I did, Hurrah!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

06:20hrs: I rose from the depths of the ÂŁ300, second-hand, c1968, charity shop-bought, eyesorely-horrendously grungy coloured, Harold Haemorrhoid-testing, easily-falloutable from, unfit-for-use, not working, recliner. Off to the kitchen to get the kettle on.

I got the kettle on, and I took this photograph of the morning view with the blue hue from the kitchen window. A bit cold when I opened the window. Brrr!

I got the brew made and took another shot from the balcony right glass of the end car park.

I then took a picture of the tree copse.
This one and all the others I tried to take never made it to the SD card! This depressed me greatly! But it’s happened before with the Lumix, and sometimes it just works again later. Although, this time, it hasn’t yet.

Aha! Jodie arrived. This cheered me up a smidgeon. Got the meds sorted, and we had a little natter. But, as I was listening to her… suddenly kicked off a gain! Dangwongles! That’s about four days on the trot of her input on the pains stakes now. And she kept on giving it to me for hours longer.

I bade Jodie farewell, and was attacked by Anne Gyna, felt wee’d off about the Lumix not working, and I fear to say, felt . After yesterday being such a good day for me, I should have expected to get bothered today.

The concentration on the computer was non-existent. I spent hours finishing the Thursday blog, the more on starting this one. The brain was not in good form, with mistakes, errors, and wrong corrections over the following hours!

I had to take a break, so I got around to doing the .

The resulting figures did not cheer me up in the slightest. Back up to the Hypertension Red-2 level again.

And Anne Gyna was having a hay day with my chest area. I took an extra painkiller and Beta-blocker. I don’t like taking extra pills, and I’ve been taking some this week. Mainly due to Anne Gyna being so bad.

No camera to use! Pains in my chest, and still, I was struggling to get things done on the computer.
Luckily the America Health site had graphs of a BP machine but doesn’t show the pulse as the NHS site does. Gawd is bad!

As if he knew how poorly I felt, started banging away in the flat above. He kept it up on and off, all day and into the evening!
There’s not going to be much more from this diary, folks. I’m going to get sat down, take another painkiller, and really hope I can get some sleep in. I’ll see how it goes. I’ll try to get something to eat before settling.

Tried to sleep for an hour or two, but Sweet Morpheus wasn’t having it. On with making a meal, it seems the hunger has returned.

I opted to do some ‘cook-in-the-bag’ boiling water rice, And amazingly the Lumix was working again. Baffled!

I chopped up some tomatoes, yellow and red. A touch of the hidden chef in me was coming out?

Put some delightful-tasting tomato & basil sauce in the little saucepan, with the last of the 7-Veg sauce added. Then I heated it gently, stirring in regularly.

At this tag, I checked on the camera to ensure these photos were making it onto the SD card… and by Jimminee, they had!

Fifteen minutes later and I got the whole mixture into the little bowl.
Poured a little BBQ sauce in with it, and stirred it up well.

Not as tasty as if I had used all 7-veg sauce with its peppers, but I still enjoyed it, even with giving me some stick! A flavour rating of 8.5 was given.

I got back to the ÂŁ300 second-hand, musty, Haemorrhoid Harold Testing, cringingly beige, crumb-covered, not-working, rickety recliner. Got my feet up on the swivel chair (the recliner is still not working!), And put the TV on to watch ‘Heartbeat’. Going to stay up late tonight to catch the England Ladies’ match against America, which follows ‘Heartbeat’.

Burst out, and in came the , Sam. We had a laugh and natter for a while after she’d sorted the medications for me. Took the waste bag with her, and I locked the door as she departed.

I’d nattered on a bit and lost the plot of the ‘Heartbeat’ storyline. A rarity indeed, me losing track of anything, innit?

I gave it up, and I went to the kitchenette to do the checks.
I’d left the blasted hot water tap (faucet) running again! Grungleturds! At that moment, my kicked off once more. I did take another Codeine, then.

I went back to the recliner, took the tablet, swore under my breath, and would you believe it… , started his banging about again! What made it worse was that I’d turned off the sound on the TV, so as not to bother anyone! There were subtitles on, not that was letting me read them very easily, if at all at times.
The unneighbourly, superior-natured, snotty Herbert making his noise so late (for me), really got to me. I just had t get up and hit the top of the high bookcase each and every time he made a noise. Thankfully, he only did it about eight more times, and getting up so often to reply to his morse-code noises, just about wore me out! Hahaha!
The football match, I did enjoy. England winning is a rarity in football, thank heavens for the Lady’s team! I suppose to be fair, England was a smidge lucky to win. They got a penalty appeal turned down and got a penalty goal. And to be fair, an equitable score would have been a draw. From what I saw. But I was tickled pink for them! Only a friendly match though. Both sides used so many substitutes I lost track again towards the end.

I was certain I’d nod off within minutes after shutting down the TV. But, No! between ‘s obstinacy, and ‘s stabbing pains, it must have taken me hours to nod off. Humph!

INCHIES DAIRY, IMITATION ODE, & CARTOON

06:30: Up later than planned, hoping the J Sainsbury order, which was due twixt 06:00 > 20:00hrs, had not been, and I’d not heard them. I meandered wobbly into the kitchenette and took these photos of the view.
I took the one on the right through the bottom window. It had been raining but was just stopping now.
The houses looked reasonably wet, I could not see the roadways clearly enough. So I used the camera to zoom in to have a look at Cavendish Road, or Close, or Street, or whatever. Hehe!
I was not exactly soaking wet, more severely damp.
I stripped off to get the ablutions tended to, and the left wrist looked terribly swollen and blotchy. No idea why; it itched but did not hurt at all. I got in the bathroom and realised that I had only got two pairs of my smaller American-made Nappies… I mean Protection Pants, left! I had the best of them all, the Tena, but they are not suitable for going out in, they are so bulky, they show through the trousers, but ace at coping with any leakages! So, I ordered some of the American Depend ones from Amazon. Sod the cost, I got a multipack to last me for a month at least. Likely even longer cause, as I say, the Depend ones are not used other than when someone is visiting, or I go to the hospital or as it happens tomorrow to the Doctors. Not a lot of people can say that! Hehehe! Got the ablutions sorted out.

J Sainbury sent me an email about the order due today.
As you can see, they continue to be short of various foods, like bread, nuts, and veggie products.
They also sent a tray of ‘Fresh’ Parmentier potatoes that showed on the pack it arrived today as the last use-by date!
What’s the Sainsbury slogan? Sainsbury’s, making life taste better!
Yes…
I’m sure!

Arrived while I was bending down to pick up some bits I’d dropped, putting them in the wast bag. He fetched the picker-upper, handed it to me, and told me off for not using it. Hehe!
Pillock! I lost it again and thought for some reason that I was going to the Doctor’s today, not tomorrow. And although Richard wanted to get away, I asked him if he could go through the things I need to remember to tell the doctor about. Obligingly he did. But rushed off afterwards – Whoosh! He still took the bags to the chute for me. Bless him. Moments afterwards, I realised my cock-up; I did feel like a right proper fool!

♫ Oh, Susan chimed out ♫ It was my precious Nurse Hristina, come to take the Warfarin INR test blood. She is an Angel. I managed to have a natter with her this time. So, that made up for Richard having to shoot off early. A sweetheart, remind me of HRH. ♥ Of course, she fancies me so much!

As Hristina went, the Sainsbury man arrived. This chap usually does not squash the soft stuff at the bottom of the boxes… but not today. I cheered up a smidgeon when I got the boxes into the kitchen, and I spotted something in the left carton… Germoloid Cream!
What a sight, I could feel pain from easing just looking at it. Har-Har!
Not cheap, as the Protection Pants I’ve ordered, but both are sort of vital to me.
I placed it in the usual place in the wet room, safely in view, where I knew I can find it when needed… which was now! But the food needed storing away first. You can just see the crushed cakes, almost out-of-date Parmentier potatoes? Along with orange desserts, disinfectant, orange cordial, cheesy Idaho potatoes and Richards beef slices, I always get him a pack or two each week. He’s a good lad.
Here are the baked bean pasties, freshly podded garden peas I bet the bank manager can’t afford these, well, I can’t, but they are delicious) Yellow and red tomatoes, ordered before Jenny gave me some, strawberries for Warden and Table-Top Dancer, Deana if I ever get to see her again, and sliced potatoes.
The fridge has never been fuller, and I think I’ve got another order coming later in the week, I think… maybe. Perhaps?

A bit of bad luck here; hard to believe, I know! I was taking the waste bags and boxes back to the front door and had a spot bother with a , only of a few seconds, but enough to have me over this time. The bags and boxes I was carrying prevented me from using the walls as support. Shook me for a minute or two. But all okay when I got back up, apart from a leg on the airer that I fell on, Gorilla tape to the rescue. A minuscule scratch and an even smaller bruise on the right knee. All goodski!

♫ Oh, Susana ♫ chimed up again. It was the Amazon long Diabetic socks arriving, with the Organic Hemp Capsules, Hemp and Lemon Balm. A bigger bag this time, not in a tub, but three times as many

They seem bigger to me as well. And, they work out cheaper. Plus, of course, they will last longer. On a rare winner here, I think! But I’m not going into a
Well, knowing my luck, Hehehe!

I gave the socks a good check-over. I have to admit they seem strong enough and long enough to me. All ready for the winter months!

I very belatedly got the Sunday blog finished and sent off. Busy day up to now; I don’t think I’ve ever been so late in posting one off to WordPress. Obviously, this means another stay-up-late job to get this one started. Just when I needed to get the sleep in to be prepared for the Doctor’s tut-tutting and ignoring me in the morning’s appointment.

I’ve not done the darned yet! I’d better get them sorted, then.
Just look at the results! They tell me to take these Blood Pressure readings in the morning, but taking them tonight – and I got the best ever results!
I AM IN THE GREEN!!!

♫ Happiness, Happiness… ♫
Great, a definite upgrade to a Class One – Grade A, Super Class One upgrade! There’s a chance I may regret saying that!

♫ Oh, Susana ♫ burst forth from the door chime. Jodie called. Nice to see her again; we had a little chinwag and laugh after she’d tended to my needs. (Ahem!) A special thank you treat & choice of cold drink.

Then, I went to put the kettle on. A habit of mine; the same as finding the mug of tea I made hours ago on the counter and stone cold! Getting late now. This photo of the dying sun was taken. I got this decentish shot on the first try. It had to happen sometime! Hehe!

At last, I got around to doing some work on this blog. I was doing well… until the two little fingers started dancing about of their own accord! I nearly dropped the camera taking this photograph of little monkeys!
It was impossible to type safely while they were wallowing all over the place, so I gave up until they stopped dancing.

Then, ♫ Oh, Susana ♫ burst forth yet again! A little late for a caller? I opened the door, and there was Jenny’s hubby Frank. A nicer bloke does not exist! He was returning the tablets that I gave to Jenny yesterday. Just one used. A note with them from Jenny: Said they did not agree with her at all. Poor gal was sick and unsteady, then fell asleep for four hours.
I wanted to call her on the landline but thought better of it in case it disturbed her. Poor Jenny. So I sent an email of condolences at her predicament. Not that would help her. Typing that was fun.

Off to put the oven on, ready for the now past-the-sell-by-date Parmentier potatoes that J Sainsbury delivered yesterday. (It is Friday morning now!) Not that the folks around here would know, lights still showing in all the houses. Have I lost it again, timewise? I took another photo of the multitude of household lights. The flippy photo disappeared from the SD card again! So much for bragging about the last photo I took. Humph! Big-Gob strikes again.

I’ll put the photo of the meal on tomorrow. He’s say’s full of confidence!

Hope I don’t get up late, must get things done for the Doctors visit. So the blog may be even later… Fed-up!

Cheers, all!

THE WANDERER? HIS BRAIN

TODAY’S POLITICAL CARTOON

DIARY

01:00hrs: Started making the template and graphics to make this blog with. galore were made over the next two hours.
was in full Incapacitating-Mode! Using her mighty Memory-Muddling skills.
were guaranteed by the danged , in turn, brought on by Pete. Some bad mistakes and damage were made, needing a lot of putting right, by just two most ill-timed attacks from . How I managed to clear the fault caused in Word (Being used for the Ode) and get it working again was nothing short of a miracle. For I had no idea what I was doing. Phew!

Around 05:00hrs, I went to put the kettle on to brew my first mug of Glengettie tea. Then decided to get them sorted out.
Another pleasant set of return figures this Saturday.
SYS 138, DIA 68. The Pulse, I could not read, with these eyes, 70-something I think it was.
Whereinsoever, the resulting graph showed me well down into the Amber, yet again. I’m doing well on these lately, am I not?
Just in case I misread some of the numbers on the terrible smudgy photo I took of the still working Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China
Put the kettle on, and I needed to go off to the wet room again.
Another tough one to get moving, keep moving, then tough to stop moving – though to stop; because the came in. The smell in the wet room was crude and chronic; well, it would be. Everything was so freshly delivered, Hahaha!
I got finished, bleeding again from the rear end. Three times in a row now. I sprayed some freshener around the room so it didn’t filter into where Carer Sam was. She got the medications sorted and given. a mini-natter gave her chocolate from the fridge as a thank you, and she took the waste bag with her to the chute for me. Thanks, Sam.

On with the blogging again.WordPress is not letting me into the comments drop-down list. So I had to get at in a roundabout way through the My Site link. That’s not working either. So, had to go on the comments side link. Not ideal with my eyesight; so easy to misread them or get the wrong one… !

But Mr Fatigue visited, so I had to stop and try to catch up with some Sweet Morpheus time. But guess what convinced me to do so?

: for an hour or so. Then I got back onto the computer and swiftly nodded off again.
Not a snooze this time, but fully-blown snoring and waking myself up with a jerk repeatedly session. how the hell I stayed on the little swivel chair? Especially with the rampant being the cause of so many jump-awake episodes!
I feared I might have missed the Amazon delivery. (Only some socks). So thought I’d better check on the intercom – it was showing 8 missed calls! Which convinced me I must have missed him.
I went to look out of the door in case he might have left them there, but no.

I made an early meal and, at last, created a decent tasting one. I cooked some vegetables in the oven and made some gravy with them. Put them in a plastic tray. And made up[ some instant potatoes, Inchcock style: Liquid salt, mock-bacon bits, and cheese all bashed up together. Put the tray in the microwave oven for 20 seconds. Added some of my favourite smoked BBQ sauce, and I tucked into it. Made a little too much mash but still ate it all slowly! Flavour Rating: 7.8/10! Washed what few things needed it, had a wee-wee, belched and savoured the flavour that came up with the wind. Hehehe!

NokiaI got back to the computer, amazingly still tired, and got a call on my Nokia 9 Pureview Mobile, with its Android (Pie) updatability, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, Octa-Core Gold CPU, 4K@30fps, 1080p@30fps, HDR video, USB Type-C 3.1, %x12 MP. 28mm Camera, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, Li-Po 3320 mAh, non-removable, fast charging 18W, Quick Charge 3.0, USB Power Delivery. Fast wireless charging 10W – Qi Battery.

It was Jenny calling to tell me she had left some tomatoes for me outside the door. She was suffering from back pain again. So I said thank you for the tomatoes, and I will drop some painkillers off for her. I hastened down with some good pain-relief tablets and handed them to her. A lovely pair, Jenny and Frank. I do hope they can ease her suffering a little. ♥

Back down and put the Jenny donated tomatoes in a cool cupboard. By gum, they look good.

Back onto the computer. Straight away, I was visited by none other than .
Despite her best attentions, I fell asleep again! Another hour lost. Waking up with the usual jump and in need of a wee-wee, I found the bucket rather full.
So, I took the bucket to be emptied and sanitised. And to use the Porcelain for passing the wee-wee.
I must have been within 3-ft of the intercom when it flashed.
It was the Amazon man with the socks. He was in and up in no time, a smile on his face, too!
So I offered him a choice of treats in thanks; from the radiator top.
He opted for the Tango orange drink.

Sarah arrived. In a good mood tonight. As she came in, she noticed my Tork hanging on the pegs in the hallway. She whipped out her mobile and took a selfie while wearing the hat. Hahaha! Got the tablets sorted, still didn’t remind me of I needed any Peptac or Pain Gelling. Then again, only Carer Richard asks that. Nice gal, Sam (If I’ve got the right name?) She took the waste bags with her as she left. ♥

Finally, I got back on the computer. WordPress had not forwarded the answers to the comments that I made yesterday. More time lost.
I went to see if any sunsetting photos could be seen from the kitchenette window. I hadn’t realised how time had passed; it was dark and dank out there.

Photographicalisation No. 1:
Not one that would normally get posted here on the Inchcock Today blog. Wasn’t it awful!
Photographicalisation No. 1: Ah, yes, that’s a bit betterer. There were no , or shakes as far I could tell, that could be blamed for the first disaster of a picture? Not that the second one is a very good mind.

I visited the WordPress Reader section next: it let me get into it this time.
Got this blog finished and posted off.

Opening Political Cartoon
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I woke up and was on my way to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket) within 30-seconds of stirring back into ersatz life! With managing to almost fall out of the ÂŁ300, second-hand, c1968, charity shop-bought, eyesorely-horrendously grungy coloured, Harold Haemorrhoid-testing, easily-falloutable from, unfit-for-use, not working, recliner last night. I don’t know how I didn’t lose contact with the Amazon-bought, uncomfortable, plastic-peeling-off-of swivel chair! Hahaha! Yes, I’d fallen asleep at the computer!

The wee-wee was of the variety of UTD (Unwilling-Trickling-Dribbling) and CM (Cessational-Micturitional dribbling). The after-dribble after the initial wee-wee, possibly tool three times longer!
As I turned back with the bucket to be emptied held in my hands, I stubbed my toe against the ottoman! My reaction to saving the bucket from being dropped; was nothing short of a miracle. I dropped it, but not from a great height, and the liquid stayed in the bucket. Naturally, as the pain shot up the leg to the brain, I merely laughed it off. No cursing whatsoever.

I got the bucket emptied, sanitised and disinfected, and got on with the task of sphygmomanometerisationing.
I was jolly-well pleased with the Blood

Pressure figures. I put them in the medical site’s programme and returned this descriptive graph. I remembered that the Riverside Diabetes meeting for today had been cancelled as I was doing the readings.
I added my graphics to it in the name of entertainment… and because I love making them for a bit of fun.
After four days in the red zone, one day nearly of-off the graph: Things seem much improved today. Back in the amber area, that’s where I like it to be as well. Although two years ago, I had one day in the green Zone. Yes! That’s been my target ever since! If I live long enough, I might achieve this.

Aha! My spirits rose enormously! This morning’s Carer was Carol-Anne! Not seen her for months, many months. I thought she’d left to be honest.
What a precious gal. I had to give her a kiss and cuddle on her arrival. Carole didn’t mind, bless her. She spoke of the extra hour on Fridays, not having been since it was so-called arranged. I explained: It was initially for the Carer to do the laundry. But sometimes the laundry would come back not dried, and the clothing wrinkly. Also, I had not had socks, bobble hats, and shirts returned. Conversely, I have made a hand towel, tea towel, and pair of ladies’ knickers. I’m still paying for the hour, even though I’m paying Esther to do the laundry. She does a good job, and Esther hangs up the trews and shirts for me. Also as well as and besides that, she sews missing buttons on for me. Carol and I had an excellent nattering session, mostly me bemoaning my plight with the Diabetes, PN and Doctors farce. As I was paying for the hour, she lent me an ear. Hehehe! She checked the dates on the stuff in the fridge for me, cheese and ready meal found out of date. She will talk with my Doctor for me when she gets back to work. Carol has a few days off, going with her Mum away for a while. Great! She had to rush off after the hour, another call to make.

I spent many hours on CorelDraw before getting onto the blogging. Most of it was accompanied by Herbert’s mechanical concert from above. Percussion and drums mostly, with an odd clunk, throw in for good measure.

It was well into the afternoon before I started the daily ode and cartoon-creating. But I love doing the blog. Sometimes my hoard of followers and fans comment on them, you know. Why, on one day, only last month, both of them did!

That took a while too. Better get summat to eat before the evening carer arrives. Now then, what’s in the fridge freezer to have? I shall investigate… hang on; I’ve got some potatoes already on the boil.

Hang on, I’ve got to get the Warfarin tablets cut. So, I will do that. All done!
I’ll get a meal of some sort sorted out. Potatoes, tomatoes, and pretend fish sticks, it looks like. Good job. I’ve got the JS order coming on Sunday. It’s looking bare in the fridge after throwing away the short and out-of-date food. Tsk!

I’ll have a rummage around to see what can be found. To make a decent meal… Doreen makes me feel a schlemiel!

Well, I managed to knock up a half-acceptable-looking plate of fodder.
Imitation fish sticks, crispy onions, tomatoes, gherkins and those terribly-tasteless so-called by J Sainsbury, new potatoes. The overall flavour score was 6.4/10. The tomatoes and pretend fish sticks were not bad.

Arrived late, into that it mattered to me. Two Carers, one presumably a trainee. I was in a half-daze from being rudely awakened (Haha!), so I cannot say who it was that came or what happened. I recall telling them to help themselves to a treat on the top of the bookcase. Then walking to the door with them to lock it and wishing them well.

After that, I got down in the recliner again and started to watch the end of the heartbeat programme. I and my nodding off again. I woke for a wee-wee with a mammoth amount of

Back to the TV, nodded off again, and woke for another wee-wee! With the regulation .

Fell asleep again and woke up with the Dirty Harry film being shown; it was just starting. I decided to try and enjoy viewing it and bugger the sleeping. Ah, I like Clint Eastwood films.

At least another ten or twelve times and had to have four more wee-wees.

Woke up with the film credits scrolling down the screen! Well, that was Farcical!

I was worn out by then.
One final wee-wee with , and off to the wet room to clean and freshen up. Changed into new PPs, of course.
Straight off into the land of nod when got down again.
Overnight, I had to force myself awake eight more times for a wee-wee! Each one was short and sharp. Thankfully there were no more leakages, seepages or in these ones.

What an Oddlimost day!

Inchcock Today: Saturday 13th August 2022

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

12:05hrs: I was abruptly woken by the mind-numbing regulation jolt this morning.  It took me a few minutes to gather the time, where I was, and who I was! Hehehe! Most annoyingly, because I was having a dream, enjoying a dream. The nature of which may not be suitable for blogging. It didn’t do me as good as it happens; Being torn from heavenly bliss, and believing it was actually happening, is cruel in the extreme. The sadness and disappointment in realising it just being a dream is heartbreaking. However, it’s best not to have such goals in the first place. I may need an extra beta-blocker!

Bootiful moon. I had to lean out of the kitchenette window to get it. Had to take four shots to get this one that was usable for my readers. Har-har! Mother Nature at her finest! Sorry, I could not get a better photo of it; I dun me best!

Closing the window, I knocked a bottle off of the window ledge. Although it didn’t break, it landed on a soft part… my big toe that the foot lady cut yesterday! It had to be a heavy glass bottle, the Squid Vinegar.

I needed a wee-wee, it didn’t seem urgent, so I got the kettle on and nipped into the Throne Room. It was a trickling affair that must have taken five minutes to get rid of a few fluid ounces. Zipping up Little Inchies spy hole, I only just got it down again in time for the after-micturition to drip. Minutes later, the zipper was utilised likewise, and the same thing happened. Which must have been another five or six minutes! Worra life! So I decided to have a sit down as I waited patiently for the leaking to stop.

However, such matters… well, anything concerning the brains malfunctioning, mentally, like; is nowadays down to the Demoness Dementia Doreen, I’m afraid.
Like yesterday’s mind-blank in Bulwell, I think I lost about half an hour of memory. How could I walk all that way to the Poundland Shop without my recalling anything about it?
The worrying bit about this one was when I sort of realised where I was, in the shop, with some products already picked and put into the three-wheeler trolley basket; I didn’t panic at all. I seemed to feel lucky I wasn’t mugged or been run over.

Trying now, looking back, to find any other reason or cause other than Doreen. I lay there this morning musing over this incident and my reactions to it.  I know I had just had a lot of hassle with the Diabetes meeting going all wrong… The farce with the hearing aids and strangers trying to help me, well, they did, and that was heartwarming! But cataracts and deafness made it impossible for me to participate in the proceedings.
Disgustingly, I felt sorry for myself and sulked with the frustration of it all. It was immediately after my departure that the mind-blank occurred. This may be part of the causes of the blanks. I don’t get them often, but each time previously, they worried me. But this time, I just accepted the situation. I started fretting, later on, mind. Hehehe! I hope someone reads this who knows me, and friends and family… no, both of them, maybe then they’ll understand my situation better. The guilt at my self-centred actions is still fresh in my mind – I see that Dementia Doreen has not stolen that memory… Bitch!
There are bound to have been people in that room with worse ailments than I have, but all I could think of were mine. I intend to make some amends at the next meeting, and be upfront, and tell Nathanial about my needing to be facing any talker, even with the hearing aids in, and not facing any light or sunshine, to give my one semi-good eye a chance. And importantly, to apologise to the others for ruining their meeting. If they accept me back, this must be done.
Waffled on a bit there, didn’t I? Sorry!

Up A Bit More Today!
SYS 151, DIA 67 Pulse 72 (Down a smidgeon) Body Temperature, 34.3°f, excellent.
The room temperature was 81°f, and the outside one from the web information was 85f. Another warm one?
Put the numbers on the NHS DVT page and got this graph up. Not the photo of me and writing. That was me trying to be creative.

, Is kicking off early today. Blimey, it must be a big order; it’s been non-stop for ages. Nowt too loud this time, just sounding like annoying tap-tapping and scratching, scuffing sounds. Richard the Caring-Heart may have a rush job on… or not. He might be having a bath. Hahahaha! I am awful!

This on the left is the message I got back from the NHS about the test results. I offered a few comments on their comments and suggested recommendations and actions to take to lower the BP.

Got yesterday’s blog completed; it took a few hours. Posted it off, and I sent the email links. Went to make a brew of Glengettie, and ♫Oh, Susana♫ chimed out.
Samantha came in, and I’m delighted to report she was patient and listened to my tale of woe, from yesterday’s Diabetes Lesson, the mind-blank, the punch-up on the Vale, the foot-lady trying to sever my big toe, patiently! Bless her cotton socks!

I came across some more undecipherable parts of the reminder notes again. Just a line and a half of terrible scribble. Can’t work out many words, but it went like this… No, I’ll take a photo of it, and then someone may be able to read it and let me know. Hang on, I’ll get the camera…
Gorrit took a photo of it, and here it is on the left.
I think the Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters must have been offline when I wrote some of these notes, comical reminders.

♫Oh, Susana♫  burst into life again. It was the Amazon delivery lady with the boxes of various nuts I’d ordered.
Seems like a lot looking at the boxes, but they weighed very little, apart from one.
The delightful chocolate walnuts and white yoghourt cashews were a real treat for me.
The extra unique trial crisps of a sort I looked forward to trying with a certain relishness! Seaweed crisps and Shitakka dried mushroom crisps! I shall report on them after I’ve tried them. (Lower down) Cleared away the boxes to the waste chute and started making something to eat. Using the shortest use-by dates that I could read. Any I can’t read will have to be dished.

Success! Fishless fish sticks,  chips, tomatoes and two oven-baked bread rolls. Not classy stuff, but it suits my essentially lower-class, impecunious, plebian, proletarian and bourgeoisie upbringing. I was ten before I had my first hot meal, and I had to toast that on the coal fire. I tell a fib there, not intentionally. I’d get home from school and do my evening paper rounds to find the chipped enamel off-white bowl on the homemade kitchen sink lean-to, with a couple of Oxo cubes and some mouldy bread. There would be a note left somewhere “Dinner on draining board” Happy days. So this was a feast for me. Waffled on a bit there, again. Tsk!
The eyes are getting tired sooner every day. I’m hoping cataracts can be done sooner rather than later. They played a big part in my getting into such a mess, frustrated, and in the end, having the memory blank at the Diabetes session at the Riverside.

I had the meal and drifted off with the tray and things still on my knee. Got a couple of hours in. The tray was in the same position when I woke up.

Arrived; unfortunately, I’d just taken off my trousers. But Valerie always presses the doorbell, so I had time to get behind the door, wave my hand around it, asking her to wait a while. It’s job gerrin’ owd, innit! I’m not sure when Val is leaving, but I’ll miss her. She’ll miss me too; there may not be treats for her at the care home she’s going to work at. Hahaha!
After Val left for another hour or so, I nodded again, then got up to tend to the blogging needs.
But, being so tired, the concentration and eyes not working correctly – I got into the same pickle with CorelDraw as two days ago. It took me well into Monday morning to sort it out again. So no point in getting my head down now. At least I got some sleep in earlier. Humph!

Morning All!

Friday 12th August 2022: Diary & Odeing

FRIDAY’s ODE
Inspired by this morning’s moon

———————————–

MoonAAfter a weird night of waking ups with a jump, jerk or both, I gave up. Went into the kitchen to see what cold drinks I had in there. And spotted the orange moon and took several shots of it. Only this one is decent.

Tended to the , and was pleasantly pleased with the lower SIA, SIA and Pulses.
The body temperature was yet again, once more, within a point of the NHS figure, at 34.4°f.
Down near Amber zone again. ♫ Up, down, flying around, looping the loop and defying the… ♫, or whatever it is. I left the writing off of the NHS graphic wot I had done, on purpose for a change, like. I  forget why.
Eventually, I found the sunglasses, hidden in plain view, not with other spectacles, but in the three-wheeled trolley walker basket. I’d even put them in a clear semi-see-through class case, so I would find them easily enough when I got things ready to go to the Riverside Centre. Ahem!
Had a quick wash, shave and shower. Four little nicks in shaving, teeth bleeding, a visit from SSS (Shuddering- Shoulder-Shirley), , and A warning from EQ; “Don’t expect things to go right mush… the won’t!” Which really was no surprise to me, not after the last five days of mayhem!
I’m afraid the last eight lines written on the remember-pad mean nothing to me. Utter twaddle, I wish I could make out what they were meant to say cause it must have been something emotional; judging by the state of the handwriting, I was uptight. Another Mystery!

Got the things in the trolley checked. Hearing aid batteries, sunglasses and a bottle of water were in there. I started to check the flat… Talk about Taps, lights, heaters, oven, fridge & freezer doors, windows… some of these checked several times. Eventually, I forced myself to stop reviewing things, and I got down in the lift to the main foyer: to await the Link Transport.
This is when I realised I’d left the paperwork upstairs. Too late to go back up… Th minibus arrived moments later. As told me to, I got the bus pass shown to the driveress and learnt that I could not use it, and the trip will cost me ÂŁ9 each way due to the distance we had to go. She helped me into the bus, got me seat-belted, and off on a mystery tour to Bulwell. I was not surprised it cost me so much, the route taken.
We arrived at the Riverside complex, and the lady came in with me to make sure I was in the right place. Bless her.
I met with the tutor, Nathanial, who gave me to another patient who got me up in the lift to the room on the first floor I needed.
As we entered the room, there were about Diabeteites sitting around, maybe twenty or more. The room was cavernous, and I could not hear a word spoken. The sun shone through into So, I couldn’t see much either. This was not going to be workable at all.
Then the hearing aid batteries both gave up the ghost at the same time. I felt a right fool. Sat there, not taking part in anything that was going on. Well, I couldn’t see much and could hear even less!
With the collection of hearing aids on the table and trying to fit the batteries, which was a farce! I dropped them and the hearing aids several times – rescued by the good-natured common folk around me, and one of the men took pity on me and got the new packet of hearing aids and fitted them for me. The batteries were dead as a dodo?
The same chap took a look, and we discovered that the batteries had a use-by date of 2018. My embarrassment knew no limits! Humiliated, frustrated, and suddenly so confused.
The chap helping me was an Angel in disguise. He said to give him the money, and he would nip to the chemist in the building and get some batteries for me. I thanked him, gave him a fiver, and sat in silence, pretending to understand what was going off!
The man returned, giving me the fiver back. He’d got some from the Health Unit for me, bless him. Then, he fitted the new ones for me when he saw me struggling to see to get them in.
I gave out an involuntary loud verbal burst; “Ah, voices! I hear voices!” Which got a laugh, even a clap from someone I think I heard!
But things didn’t work out well after all that help from my fellow sufferers. For this reason alone, I intend to try and work something out that can help me hear better, so I can continue with the sessions.
The difficulties after getting the aids working, I must thank the two gents who helped me out before I forget to.
As Nathanial moved around between the ‘L’ shaped desks talking to us all, as he spoke in the other direction, I could not hear a word he was saying, and the sunshine rays made sure I couldn’t even see the chap. So it was farcical trying to take part.
The tutor was staying behind to give the two of us who missed the first lesson an update on the first. I can’t even see to read the booklets either.
Depression fell. And I said as kindly as I could, “I’m sorry, this is not working. I’ll have to go; thanks for trying”
As I embarrassingly left the room, the flooring in the lift lobby nearly made me feel giddy. Why? I could hardly see the patterning on it… something seemed not right. Which was probably due to my eyes?
I can’t recall taking this photo at all. Can’t imagine any reason for my doing so?
I felt awful for leaving. But the whole episode had got me feeling so nervous and low in spirits. Confidence is at an all-time low. I self-pitied as I walked out of the building and into the 94°f heat. “Will anything ever work out right for me again?” Living with Cataract Cathy, Peripheral Neuropathy, and Deaf Dennis is bad and hard socially. But Dementia Doreen was to blame for 75% of all the cock-ups and embarrassments I’ve suffered so far today. (But there were so many more to come that I didn’t know about yet… but always half-expect nowadays, every day! I wish some Doctor would read this and offer me some form of help or hope!
I’m becoming an inept gibbering wreck here.

I suffered a mind-blank period once outside the building; when I realised that through my leaving early, I’d have a while to wait for the lift.
The next thing I recall is being in the Bulwell Pound shop, about 50 yards or so from the Riverside Centre. I became aware of this lapse, yet not too concerned at the time. I had in my thee0wheeler trolley basket some bird seed cakes. Obviously, I’d seen the birds on the banks of the river Lean across the road and thought I’d feed them and have a natter. So, I bought the sees and fed the birds. I had to rush a bit to get back to the centre in time for my lift!

As I entered the hallway to the other end, she was coming down the stairs, and I knew it was her when got near enough. The gal didn’t look bothered about me not being there when she arrived, so I wasn’t sure if I’d upset her or not. She got me fitted in the minibus again, and we set off. She told me that Hucknall Road had been blocked off, so we needed to find another way back.
In my mind, I thought, ‘good’, we can take a shorter route back, hopefully costing less. Hehe!
I suggested taking Highbury Vale, and we did. At a pedestrian crossing, we pulled up to have a birds-eye view of a bit of road rage. I didn’t see the incident that cause it. A bloke on an E-scooter, apparently with a girlfriend of wife on it with him, approached the car driver and kicked and thumped his vehicle. The Chap got out of his car, and fisticuff positions were adopted! The driver eventually got back in his car. The scooter man got his female in front of him on the E-scooter, then changed his mind and ran back to the car, thumping the windows again. The driver waved him away and drove off. E-scooter man should not have anyone else on the scooter with him anyway… should he? And it was a privately owned one that technically is not allowed on the public roads?
We got home, even with the altercation to gals us, a lot quicker than taking the ÂŁ9 route we took to get to Bulwell.
The lady dropped me off in front of the entrance of the flats. Bless her. As she was helping me off of the bus, the mobile phone made a noise, I  didn’t hear it but the driver did. She read it, a message “Feet Today!” I thanked the ‘Link’ driveress.
And inside up to the apartment in great haste! The text was from the Chiropodist in the hair salon. I’d either not put the appointment in my calendar or done it for the wrong day. Dementia Doreen strikes again! Got some note reminders on the notepad for use on here, stripped off of the sweaty clothing, got fresh ones on, and the slippers. And down to have feet tended to. Which drew blood this time.
The foot gal was not pleased with me being late, I think. The toenail cutting was painful enough and rushed, obviously. I apologised for being late and tried to explain why. I don’t think she was impressed at all. So I gave them both their choice of drinks from the trolley basket. Hehe! Paid the bill, and I departed. Thought I’d drop some plonk off for the Wardens, but the office was closed, so I didn’t.

Back up to the flat. Got the slippers off, and the feet looked rather suave, no... that’s not the right word, calm, that’ll do.
Apart from the cut toe, of course. A case of Chiropodists’ revenge?

I took this photo of the view from the kitchenette in the searing heat. Although, according to the computer, it was down to 81°f now.

Got onto the computer to make a start on this blog. Got the photos on first to use later in the gallery. The day had taken a lot out of me, and my eyes were drooping.

So I closed the computer down. The plan was to get something to eat, then after the Evening Carer has been, to get my head down and hopefully wake up and have time to start finishing this blog.

A meal with a difference tonight. The use-by today vegetable risotto, and the use-by yesterday fresh chips. Nothing else.
And it went down a treat! The taste rating given was 8,8/10!

The lad seemed a smidgeon more with it tonight. I asked him if he knew how to adjust the colouring background on the mobile, but nope. We did have a mini-natter, however.

Then I got my head down. Amazingly, I was soon off in the land of Nod. But will I wake up in time to get this blog done?

Inchcock Today: Wednesday 10th August 2022 Ode to Doreen: Part 21.3â…šth

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I stayed up for a total of 29hrs; Gawd knows when I can finally get my head down again. CorelDraw mishaps, the main reason, and my stupidity in handling it. Today, CorelDraw has improved. But I still can’t get caught up with the blogging.
I did get yesterday’s finished; this afternoon. And am now making a start on this one at18:15hrs! So, note mong night in the offing! So this diary will be a bit shorter. Methinks I’ll never gerrit dun if not. Sorreh! Did you see that? I reverted to my early years Meadows upbringing slang! Hehehe!
The legs, ankles and feet were not looking so good, yet they were lass painfully than yesterday. One heck of shock after doing the sphygmomanometerisationing!
Glagnangles! The SYS was 186, DIA 63, & pulse 74. Blimey! The body temperature was great, though! Went on the NHS analysis site; interested in what they would comment on this figure.
I wonder if there will be anyone at the Riverside Health Centre on Friday who I can inveigle into doing a check for me on their machine? Well, you never know yer luck… No, hang on, it’s me we’re talking about, innit? Okay, forget it!
Arrived while I was making a mug of tea, my first one for 18 hours! Oh, I am good!
I told Richard about the eight pages of instructions from the C4N transport. The only bit I could read of the eight two-sided A4 paper and leaflet was what it is going to cost me. Very confusing it was. Richard had a quick look; he didn’t have much time, he’s got another client to see. Five minutes later, he said, “I can’t understand it either, Gerry! a right load of confusing waffle!” He kindly stuffed the paperwork into his bag of treats, telling me he’d have a look later on, and let me know if sorts owt out, in the morning. Bless his Cotton Socks!

The Morrison order arrived via the Amazon shopperess. I got the packages in the kitchenette.
I went for a wee-wee and returned to find liquid had been flowing from one of the bags, covering the kitchen floor. I’m not having a lot of luck these last two days, am I? A bottle of Tonic Water caps came off, and a litre of Tonic Water with a hint of lime had soaked through two of the other bags, and I had a right job sorting it out.
Got flowers put in the cool hallway for the warden’s treats.
Then made a start on sorting out the product delivered. kicked off.
Just as I was moving the things in this photo, as I was picking up the pin sprays… the top of one of the bottles shot off; at least I smell nice now, too nice for my comfort.

But dare not go put in these clothes with that sweet smell all over my torso and trousers. Tsk! I ordered a packet of vegan sausages and got a cheapo-ready meal of two sausages & mash in gravy. The limit on you could buy of Mash World chips (fries) as one packet!
The oven-baked fries were so unfrozen I felt the chips breaking up.
As I said earlier, I’m not doing very well lately. Humph!
Tried to phone Warden Deana, then Warden Julie, but both calls were diverted, so they must be up to the neck in it!

Got the fridge and freezer filled up. Tried to phone Warden Deana, then Warden Julie, but both calls were diverted, so they must be up to the neck in it!

Many Mind-Blanks now; I’m feeling right weary. The cataract eyes are making it even worse to see and concentrate. was so persistent today, and Reflux Valve Roger was having great fun with me.
Tried to phone Warden Deana, then Warden Julie, to get help with the transport letter reading and ask them if they could phone the Doctors for me. (Anne Gyna and Reflux Valve Roger), but both calls were diverted, so they must be up to the neck in it!
Deana rang back, and oddly enough, she said she was up to the neck in it today! I told her of the flowers and Strawberries, and if the DVT nurse came early and the Amazon nuts arrived in time, I’d nip them to the office for her.

Deana told me she arranged the transport for Friday’s Riverside Diabetes meeting. She needed the appointment list to arrange the others. Her voice told me she was up to the neck in it. She said she’s pop up later to pick things up. But never made it, up to the neck with it, you see.
Evening arrived as I was getting my din-dins out of the oven. A gorgeous but ridiculously costly roast Vegetable Risotto. I forgot to take a photo of it. Gave Valerie the strawberries and flowers. She was tickled pink. Haha!

I ate the risotto meal and, for a laugh, took a selfie of eating the last succulent forkful! There was not enough of it to get me. But ÂŁ4 for a piddling meal is a bit much, thanks to Morrison’s, for the leaking tonic water. The crushed to bits cheese biscuits and squashed swiss rolls, too!

I cleared away the food things and took this snap of the view of the just missed sunsetting.
A quick wash, no shower or shave yet again today!
I must make sure tomorrow that I can get a mega-ablutioning session in. Not as easy as it sounds nowadays. Everything is taking so much longer to get done, thanks to the ailments and dementia-Doreen!

I put on a Dr Who DVD, and I was, not surprisingly soon, off into the land of nod. Where I stayed for nearly six hours of bliss!
Are things taking a turn for the better here?

Go forth and have a fiesta,
Fundamentally, fun!
