Heck of a day again. The chronic depression has returned without cause or reason. This time, after three days of feeling up and down, this Monday was a down, down and lower dive. Nothing much was done; I was only interested in doing my blog. The callers felt the same way for some reason. Low & dispirited. Summat’s been going on: they were all appearing uptight.

There’s not much to report; good job. I managed to take a few photos. The memory blanks were far fewer but lasted for longer. I can’t win! Well, they won’t even let me into the race for contentment! Haha!

I tried to take a photo in the reflection of the balcony glass of me waving at you.

Morning view.

My one and only mug of Glengettie of the day! Of course, I let it get cold… Tsk!

Filling up quick again, dark shade.

Mystery photo taken?

I put the TV on and became more confused about what I was doing. Left it on for hours. Forgot it was on!

Again.

I heard the tune playing for ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ on the TV and watched the episode.
I can remember that!

Carer Christopher arrived, and I mentioned that the laundry had not been returned. He gave me the medications and shot down to fetch them for me. Bless him. He returned with it and had to rush off. It was dry this time, and getting the sleeves and socks back from inside out, I hung them up. I gave him some treats. Thanks for helping.

Still too dark, I must start guzzling the water again.

I’ll put some chips in the oven I heated earlier…
I’d not turned on the oven!
pillockSo, I turned on the oven, making sure the light had lit this time. Tsk! And returned to the blog.

No call from Easy-Link to confirm the booking for Wednesday’s lift to the doctor has arrived. I expect it will come tomorrow, then if they cannot do it, I’ll have to ring and cancel it, making another one for later. There is no way I could walk it or use public transport. And taxis are out of the question as well. Sitting with my legs bent up in low seating will give me grief.  , , , and . With the possibility of bleeding, , or  joining in the feast of pain and discomfort. Now it’s in the hands of fate, and of course, , along with whether or not I remember all this on Wednesday morning. So, I suppose that will have to play his part in the proceedings, too. Isn’t life-ageing interesting and challenging?

Back to the action, Hehehe!

Back to the blogging. Taking ages due to all the corrections needed to be done. Then…
I definitely smelt burning!

I grabbed the , and hobbled semi-hastily to the kitchen. The smell of a little acrid that attracted my attention was that of a casserole saucepan, the melting serving bowl that I’d left in it, and a white porcelain bowl in that… But obviously, I had turned on the back hob, in mistake for turning off the front hob (I think).
You can almost see the heat in this shot.
That had melted the large bowl, and the Porcelain bowl fell through into the metal casserole saucepan!
I let it all cool down for a while, then took this snap of my three mangulated, misshapen, melted, merged, cracked mixtures moulded together as the porcelain bowl fell through the melted one.
I salvaged the porcelain bowl from the vice-like grip of the artistic-looking, smelly mess. (I should have sent the photo to the Tate Gallery?) I left it in the sink bowl in hot water, bleach, baking soda and washing-up liquid to soak overnight. I’ll inspect things in the morning.

Worra Life!
