Inchcock Today Thu 17 Dec 15: Housework – sorting Day

How do you say to get a group of Solicitors to smile for a photo?

Just say ‘FEES’!

Guess where he fell asleep this morning?

Thursday 17th December 2015

Up and to the porcelain room at 0405 hrs, ‘Little Inchy’ in a right state again, but the innards were much improved… thankfully.

Managed to nod off on the throne – Tsk!

Woke a tad confused… made my way to make a cuppa to take me  medications with.

Remembered that Steve from Age UK is calling today, this afternoon, made sure I’d got me an application to divert mail documents safe for when he arrives.

Started this diary and did some Facebooking.

Took me bags to the rubbish chute.

P1020680Getting myself ready to go I went out of the door and realised I had not got me hearing-aids in – back to search for them. An hour later I gave up searching in despair.

Looking gloomy now.

Down to the Community shed to see if Deana was available. Met Frank outside the door having a fag, that was Frank having a fag, not the doors.

Told him about me losing me hearing aids and he pointed to the top of a radiator in the foyer where they were lying where I must have taken them out for some reason? Humph, Tsk and huh!

Deana not in so I returned to the flat.

Sorted my medication pots for the month. Updated this tosh and then set about cleaning the kitchen.

Marinated the baked beans in Bovril, brown sugar, mustard, Worcester sauce, Rosemary and vinegar.Updated this tosh and then set about cleaning the kitchen.

Updated this tosh and then set about cleaning the kitchen.

P1020682

Prettified kitchen – although it cost me a bruised knee, back and neck ache and a lot of hassle! Hehe!

How hard could that be then…?

Cleaned the window inside only, cupboards and surfaces.

WhoopsieHoovered around, then got me mop and bucket out, just finishing the moping when the mop collapsed, down banging me knee on the bucket and tipped it all over the kitchen floor! Swore at this point a bit!

The mop apparently breaks into three pieces and doesn’t go back together with any rigidity. Cleaned up again and while it dried I nipped out to the Community shed again. Tsk!

Gave Obergruppenfhureress Julie her and Deana pressies.

Back to the flat. While I’d still got the fresh water in the bucket to clear the kitchen I did a quick mop over of the bathroom floor.

Hoovered the hallway and front room.

Updated this diary again.

Waiting now for the arrival of Steve from Age UK.

Steve arrived and got the paperwork done for me – I have to take it into the Post Office tomorrow with the ID’s needed and pay them £59 for the honour of getting me mail diverted to the new flat for three months.

Got my caramelised sausage rolls in the oven, beans on the hob.

Tasty, very tasty!.

Stomach a lot better now, but the knees ain’t.

No dizzies today.

Watched some TV in between nodding off.

Inchcock Today Tue 15th Dec: Housebound today… well Toilet-bound really!

Is it just me – or do buffalo wings taste like chicken?

P1020668

Brekkers – with the extra anti-diarrhoea capsule this morning – oh dear…

Tuesday 15th December 2015

Eventually I managed to get some kip around 0300 hrs, and woke feeling partially confused and shivering yet sweating at 0600 hrs?

Bits of some dreams lingered as I sat there feeling a bit sorry fer missen as the stomach rumbled uncomfortably away. All I could recall was I was in school class and the other kids had all grown up into adults and policemen and dogs were chasing them around the room? While I sat at a desk painting a picture of Dad in water-paint?

To the bathroom and a long session on the thrown without much release, apart from much almost tuneful winds. Tended to bleeding ‘Little Inchy’. Oh dear I thought!

Into the kitchen, put the kettle on, took me medications with an extra capsule for me ‘Runs’, and back to the bathroom again! More wind and no release.

Foggy this morning, but it cleared so quickly I was surprised.

The rumbling seems to have eased off a bit as I got the laptop on to finish Monday’s diary and start this one.

P1020671Still too risky to go out though – and anyway the fog and mist was getting thicker and lingered all day!

I got busily away doing nothing – heh!

I went to take the black bags to the rubbish chute and had to run back (Just in time) to the bathroom porcelain!

I did an order for food delivery, got a bit of nosh and fell asleep.

Woke up and it was dark – shot back into the bathroom.

Then things eased a bit in the rumbling innards department, still there but nowhere near so bad.

Took me medications.

I must get missen out tomorrow, weather permitting like. Might go into town and wonder around and get some photographicalisationing done perhaps.

Nodded of for what seemed a few seconds and when I woke with a start I thought I’d had a dream that lasted for hour? I was in the First World War trenches and was wearing my Boys Brigade uniform? Nobody seemed surprised at this and I tried to explain that I was in the wrong dream???

Next I was in Stalingrad and was a sniper up high in the bombed buildings but only had a potato gun?

Then I was in a church and writing out Parking Tickets and drinking Tizer?

Odd day…

Inchcock Today Mon 14 Dec 15: Not feeling well, the rumbling innards are back – Humph!

Show me a man with both feet firmly on the ground and…

I’ll show you a man who can’t get his pants or socks off!

Monday 14th December 2015

Up with a start again at 0250 hrs – Laid feeling sorry for missen with me rumbling stomach back again, aching legs, bleeding sore ‘Little Inchy’ that needed medicating and cleaning up… yet not unhappy really?

The trip yesterday is responsible for me weariness and most of the aches and pains – yet I even enjoyed that in a way.

The first time for ages that I awoke and felt like staying there… Forced to get up though for a porcelain visit and to tend to ‘Little Inchy’.

No coughing yet, but me nose was blocked and eyes running a bit. Oh dear!

Cuppa and took me medications, laptop on to finish off yesterdays diary.

Feeling a bit drained already, poor old thing!

Cracking headache now, not had one like this for years. Tsk!

Started this diary off.

Had a bath and attended the porcelain again.

Got missen ready for me walk to the doctors for me INR Warfarin level blood test. Took me rubbish bags to the chute on the way out.

P1020664Met Deana and some residents and had a quick natter, and out on me walk down the hill to Sherwood, then up Mansfield Road into Carrington and the surgery to see the nurse.

On me way I spotted some Roadside artwork near the garages.

The knees were bad after yesterdays performance.

P1020665On Mansfield Road I noticed the solicitors window and the sign in it.

Quality Solicitors Yate & Co it said, above the rotting window ledge.

Hehe!

The rumbling started again and I made as much speed as I could manage to get to the doctors ASAP before I had an accident! Desperately trying not to pass any wind from the rear quarters like.

Hobbled into the surgery and straight to the WC.

Back to reception and booked missen in with the receptionist.

Had a go at me crossword book while waiting for the nurse to call me in, which she did ten minutes later.

She took me blood, I gave her some nibbles and we had a natter.

Back out to the reception I asked what was occurring with the ‘Little Inchy’ problem and had they had an answer from the clinic yet. She looked on her computer and said no reply yet. “I asked if I should just keep on bleeding every day then?”

No answer, so I left.

I went down into Lidl and bought a loaf and some Frikadellens – not a good idea the Frikadellens really considering the state of me innards. Tsk!

Caught the bus back to Sherwood desperately struggling not to have a accident with/from me bubbling innards and rear quarters. Luckily as I got off the bus and crossed the road and an L8 bus arrived as I approached the bus-stop.

Up to the flats and just made it again to the porcelain in time. (Getting risky this is!)

A letter had been delivered while I was out – from British Gas with the electricity bill – £258 to be paid.

I went to the Community shed and found both the organisers there, Deana and Obergruppenfurher Julie. Gave em some nibbles and asked Deana if she could call BT for me and set-up a direct Payment Plan with them for me?

This she did happily. Now set-up for me to pay £58 a month starting January 1st. She also got them to take £258 I owed them. I thanked her muchly.

Had to make use of their WC. Huh!

Back to the flat and put the paperwork in the BT folder. (I’m getting organised now eh?)

WC’d again! (Fancy that!).

Put some sausages in the oven to have sausage sarnies for an early nosh. (Not sure if that was a good idea or not under the circumstances like?)

WC’d again, and got the laptop going to update this twoddle.

P1020667

Head told me I wanted to eat this – the rumbling stomach told me I didn’t… The stomach won.

Foolishly got me nosh ready and it looked good to me, but I didn’t eat it… well I did eat hot dog sausages in bread, but dare not risk owt else with me innards playing up.

From then on it was into the  bathroom, session of wind producing on the thrown repeatedly for hours! Eventually managed to evacuate some of the rumbling bubbling innards contents and felt drained afterwards.

Genuinely worried about this now. However the rumbling eased a lot but the urge and feeling that I needed to visit the Thrown remained all night on and off. Tsk!

I eventually nodded off around 0300 hrs and didn’t get the call to the porcelain again until when I woke around 0600 hrs.

As I said earlier… Oh dear…

Inchcock Today Sun 13 Dec 15: Papplewick Pumping Station Visitation

One nice thing about egotists: they don’t talk much about other people!

Sunday 13th December 2015

Up with a start at 0300hrs – Porcelain visited, kettle on, took morning medications and thoughts f the visit to Papplewick Pumping Station arranged last night came into me mind.

I think BJ said he was to ring me before he set off from home to pick up David and then me, to lift us to the pumping station? To meet them outside the flats.

Laptop started to finish Saturday’s diary off, and start this one.

Made another cuppa and a dizzy spell hit me – not nice this one. Wondered if I should call BJ and cancel me going to the station? Decided against it and crossed fingers it’ll be a one-off.

Did  bit of Facebooking then got missen washed and changed.

All ready for 0745 hrs and awaiting the phone call from BJ.

0845 hrs, still waiting for the phone call.

Watched some rubbish on YouTube.

0945 hrs, still awaiting the phone call from BJ.

I suppose I got the time wrong perhaps?

1040 hrs still awaiting the phone call from BJ.

1145 hrs still awaiting the phone call from BJ.

1210 hrs took me midday medications.

12.15 hrs the phone call came… got missen ready and down to meet BJ and David.

P1020642We were soon parking up in the Pumping Station’s car park.

Took a photographicalisation of David (Left) and BJ when we got out of the vehicle.

The drizzle started and it got a bit cold as we entered the site.

P1020643Took some photographs and wandered around. BJ and David soon lost me, so I wandered around knowing I’d bump into them again.

The rain began to pour down and the wind got up a bit and I started coughing – which was not good at all as it affected ‘Little Inchy’ and he bled away. This ruined the day.

Tried me best to clean missen up in the toilets, but all I really wanted was to get home and in the bath I’m afraid.

P1020653 P1020649I moved into a steam generator warehouse and although the lighting was not good, tried to take some shots of the many Commemorative Colliery plates in the cupboards on show.

There were about a hundred or so scattered around in cabinets.

The place was well busy, with families and fans and experts visiting.

The was a steam generator running, built in Manchester 1912 that was used in the Players Cigarette factory for years that had been given new life at Papplewick.

P1020644P1020656A break in the rain and the mini-railway. was soon filled with passengers as it trudged around the back of the site. More adults than kids went on it.

The rain came heavy again and i made me way into the Pumping house.

The ornateness of the place, considering all the gigantic machinery that was running so smoothly and efficiently was a pleasure to see.

I stayed in there cause it was a bit warmer. David found me ans told me he was going on a trip to visit the underground reservoir and I told him I’d wait where I was until he returned, BJ had lost him too.

P1020662Their was a Santa’s Grotto on the top floor for the kids, and a brass band playing carols.

Which I enjoyed.

As it got late Santa and his two helpful female elves departed in style.

BJ found me and it seems David had P1020659gone back on another trip to the reservoir.

I went out and waited for David to return, which meant an hour in the drizzle. I kept popping back in to the boiler room, where a girl was energetically stoking the boiler and loving it.

Eventually David returned and we departed.

Not a good day for me really, but I love visiting the place.

BJ dropped me off at the flat then ran David home. I thanked him, painfully got out of the car and limped up to the flat.

I must say I felt horrible then, tired, irritable, coughing, Little Inchy sore and bleeding and then I had a dizzy spell.

Took me evening medications while I thought of it, and cleaned up and medicated ‘Little Inchy’.

P1020663Got me nosh. I was hungry but so tired.

Nothing fancy or I thought would upset me stomach as that had started rumbling now. Tsk!

Had it not been for ‘Little Inchy’, the weather, the others losing me and the coughing it would have been a wonderful day.

I ache all over now. Hehe!

Remembered to put me Warfarin record card in me pocket for the blood tests in the morning though.

Hope make a pictorial post of the visit when/if I get time tomorrow or Tuesday.

TTFN all.

Inchcock Today Sat 12 Dec 15: Got some undies at last!

My weight is perfect for my height – which varies

01topj9c

Saturday 12th December 2015

Up with a start at 0310hrs – Porcelain visited, kettle on then laptop started.

Finished yesterdays diary off. Took a while as me fingers are a bit stiff this morning – first time for weeks they’ve been like this.

Thought about it being a dreaded Saturday today, dreaded because it is always a Saturday when I get letter/s from FraserBrown the imitation solicitors, and its always bad news! Feeling apprehensive now.

Cuppa and medications taken.

Started this diary off, then did some Facebooking.

It was persistently persisting with persistent wet rain this morning.

I packed me bag with Bird seed, umbrella, gloves etc, covered them with carrier bags to help keep out the rain and made sure I’d got me camera, mobile and bus-pass on me person. (Note: I didn’t mention anything about taking me camera SD card out of the laptop did I? Humph!)

Then took a bath and the rubbish to the chute.

Set off on a walk through the park into Sherwood to catch a bus into town. Met Frank from the 4th floor on the way out and had a little natter with him.

It only took me about 15 minutes to get to the bus stop, but the rain was such as i was soaked through by the time I got there.

Dropped off on Mansfield Road and straight to the Victoria bus station and on a bus to Derby, in search of finding some cotton loose-fit underpants again.

At Derby I went to the back of the bus-station and fed the ducks and pigeons, went to take some  photo’s… that was when I realised I’d left me SD card in the laptop.

I swore profusely!

P1020641Walked to the Primark store in the rain and I got carried away a bit… well a lot really.

Spent too much again!

I was so excited at finding they had some of the underpants I wanted in stock I got three packs of 3 pair… a dressing gown on offer, a cardigan on offer, jumper with a hood and lounge pants on offer. Tsk!

I went through the market on the way back to the bus station and  nipped on the shop there to get a TV paper and somehow a pack of fresh cream cakes fell into me bag as well. (Ahem!)

So annoyed with missen for not taking me SD card with me yet again – and it dawned on me, I’d put one in me pocket last time I forgot. So there I was, having an SD card all the time and not knowing it – I considered asking the doctor for a mental test later. Hehe!

P1020635 P1020634Fell asleep several times on the way back to Nottingham. When the bus got into Nottingham I found the card and took some photographs of the slab-square amusements.

Shoppers galore today.

Plenty of folk out and about despite the prices they were charging and the rain.

The wind was getting up a bit more now.

P1020638P1020633As I strolled up King Street slowly, I had a good 40 minutes to wait for the bus, a pigeon came down and did a little dance for me?

I sneaked her some seed.

I think they must have seen the inordinate amount of pavement artists in the town and folk throwing money at them, they tried it for themselves? Haha!

P1020639I took a wander around for a bit and got a hot bacon cob from a shop and as I left noticed how run-down the Old Turf Tavern was looking on Upper Parliament Street now if has closed down.

Got a break in traffic and pedestrian at just the right time when I took this photo.

P1020640Caught the bus and was soon back at the flats after nodding off a few times again.

Caught one of me neighbours form the flats getting on the bus.

WC’d made a cuppa and took the photo shown earlier of things I’d bought unintentionally like.

Got me nosh and fell asleep.

Phone woke me up, it as BJ asking me if I wanted to go on a visit to the Papplewick pumping station in the morning.

I thanked him and he said he’d ring on the land-line when he was on his way so I could meet him and David in front of the flats.

I think he said about 0800 hrs.

Missed me evening medications. Fool!

Inchcock Today Fri 11 Dec 15: Medicationalistical problems improve today – Now I’m worried… Hehe!

Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone.

GCscowl4

Good Morning all!

Friday 11th December 2015

Up at 0400hrs – And no urgent or immediate demands or calls to the porcelain? (A first this was! Hehe!)

At 0404 hrs the calls to the porcelain started…. Tsk!

The radiators were red-hot after  the chap set them for me the other day. Dread to think what the cost will be in electricity. Toyed with the controls in an effort to turn them down a bit. Still, it meant the draught coming into the kitchen was warmer than usual. Hey-ho!

Made a brew, got me morning medications and realised I’d missed last nights when I found the unopened pot near me laptop – Humph!

As I typed my elbow joints became stiff and painful – no idea why?

Still, not complaining, Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis were being kind to me, the rumbling innards seemed easier… oh that reminds me, must take another one of the hydrochloride capsules, they seem to be helping, the reflux valve ain’t bad either this morning, the hernia is twanging just a bit, the skin cancer path has stopped itching all together now too. Even me legs were not as swollen as of recent. The ulcer was no bother and the haemorrhoids a well.

Either I’m going to croak out unexpectedly or things might be improving?

The best of all was there was only a tiny bit of blood from Little Inchy.

Even found missen singing Helen Shapiro songs to missen when I was on the thrown?!?!

Started the laptop and this diary.

Got a wash and brush up and bath and readied missen for me search for the ‘Loose fitting underpants’.

Took rubbish to the chute on me way down, then called at the Community Hut to see Dean and Julie who were both their today. Handed them some letters I’d received for Margaret the previous tenant and returned to the reception area to join some other tenants waiting for the bus and had a good natter and laugh with em.

Caught the L9 into town.

P1020623

Top of Hockley

Dropped off before town and walked up Hockley browsing for any of the ‘Loose fitting underpants’ en-route up into the City Centre. None found.

Walked down to Fletcher Gate and called into the C&A store – went in and eventually gave up trying to find the menswear department and left.

On towards the shopping mall and visited the British home Stores shop and again searched for any ‘Loose fitting underpants’ – failed to find any again.

I think I might have to go to Derby to try and find some at their Primark store?

P1020627Had a wander round looking in other shops without any luck.

Getting busy now and I had to keep an eye out for the Pavement cyclists.

There were plenty of the belting around dangerously between the pedestrians.

Walked back to the slab-square where I P1020630came across a group of schoolchildren being monitored by three teachers as they walked into the festivities in the Winter Wonderland area.

I worked it out, if they all went on one ride on the Horses ride, it would cost them over £90 at the prices advertised for kids.

P1020631At the other end of the square a pick-a-duck stall had these animal figures above it.

Why snow leopards connected with picking a duck escaped me for a while – then I realised ‘Snow’ leopard – Christmas?

Took this photo cause I thought Caroline on Facebook would like it.

P1020632As I walked up King Street to the bus stop I turned looked back and saw the chance to try to do another ‘Moody’ photo.

I can see if I go on like this some Newspaper or art gallery will be contacting me to offer me work. (Ahem!)

Decided to walk to Tesco as I had not been able to get any fresh cream French horns for over a week now and was getting withdrawal symptoms. Hehe!

P1020622Wondered around Victoria shopping centre on the way there and got some photos for the TFZ gals.

What this is apart form a mirror I don’t know, but I bet one or more of the TFZ gals will know and will inform me?

These wigs looked comical to me, but they were very cheap.

P1020625Oh… they aren’t wigs are they? They are winter hats.

Silly me!

Sorry.

I noticed here were several gangs of youths lurking about in the mall today.

Some lovely pearls here.

P1020628Got into Tesco and they had some cakes in and I got a pack of em.

Walked out through Trinity Square slipping the birds some seeds on me way to the bus stop, checking shops for ‘Loose fitting underpants’ on the way – again without any luck at all!

Still think I might have a ride out to Derby tomorrow in search of some.

Met a fellow tenant from the 4th floor at the bus stop and had a chin-wag with him.

Back to the flats without falling asleep on the bus – Good that fer me!

But I was drained when I got in. WC’d made a cuppa, took me medications and had me nosh before falling asleep, a deep sleep in the chair.

That was the end of me day…

Inchcock Today Thur 10 Nov 15: Feeling much better today – worrying innit?

They told me I was gullible and I believed them!

Thursday 10th December 2015

01topj9c

Up late at 0600hrs – Wondered why I had stopped dreaming lately? Or why I can no longer remember them if I am still having them?

To the WC and tended to Little Inchy again – still no news from the hospital or surgery about this?

Made a cuppa and took me medications. found a mess in the kitchen where I’d failed to clear up last night after cooking – Naughty Boy!

Laptop on. Message from Kentucky Angel Angie this morning – so happy she is not poorly. Great news to start the day off. Her turns of phrase I find so witty, here is one she wrote when referring to Solicitors: “All nincompoops, found at the bottom of the slime ponds in life.” Thanks Angie, spot on methinks?”

Coreldraw is still playing up and I can’t do the work I want to on it, still, I’ll have another go later.

Me over Christmas order is coming today for the long life stuff from Asda (Wal-Mart).

Got a message from Steve Age UK asking if all right? After not answering so many of my messages and not getting back to me about the Building Society query too?

I’ll send him an Email methinks. Yes… I’ll do it now.

Done it, updated him on things and Jane too.

Deana will be calling today she said, so I’ll get missen spit and polished and bathed now.

Back in a bit…

That’s better. Sorted the laundry things for doing and got down to the laundry room and the washing in on ‘Quick wash’.

Windy and rainy again today.

01W01bFrank (another tenant) came down and out for a fag at the front of the foyer.

Many folk coming in and out, and I really enjoyed a good few natters and listening to their stories as they passed though the reception and by the laundry room.

Frank told me to take a look at his 01W01home-made card he’d left on the table in reception with the others.

Apparently since the others started calling him a ‘Christmas Scrooge’ three ears ago, he makes one of these each year now.

Got to like his humour haven’t you. He used an old soap powder box torn out and wrote on the inside “Humbug and Festivities to all!” Hehehe! I told him I’d post the photo and let him know if any comments came in on it.

Saw Norman from the 12th floor and we managed a natter.

Got the washing from the machine into the drier. Not very good though, i shan’t use the ‘Quick mode again!

Deana joined us and had a seat and natter with some tenants. I nipped up to the flat to get the ‘Sign-here’ stickers for her.

I had a read of some of the signs on the boards near the lifts when everyone had disappeared. Mostly waffle with some telling us not to dry anything on the balconies, not to use the rubbish chute twixt 2000 > 0800hrs (Although someone is doing so), n not to use two washing machines (there are only two) at the same time, and not to use a drier if you are not using the washers when a washer is in use. (But folk are doing, like the bloke who’d just got back off holiday did and I had a barney with over his doing so!), And not to do noisy repairs or maintenance after 2000 hours – Like someone was doing last night when I wanted to get to sleep!

So, it appears these notes messages and warnings are as effective as the UKIP Party are in bonding the citizens of this Nation together and getting an MP into Parliament.

Took the rather less than clean washing back to the flat and put me washing away.

The Anticoagulant Service INR Warfarin level blood test results had been delivered. Down a bit to 2.7 this time. I Emailed the GP surgery to get appointment as told for Mon 14 December.

Got a reply in a few minutes from the GP surgery! Booked in for Monday 14th at 1115 hrs. Good that!

Tesco had sent an email wanting to know why I had not been shopping with them lately. I informed/reminded them that last time I did they delivered a broken clock and crushed cakes with no offer of recompense and not to bother now after so long. Nicely mind!

Did some Facebooking before the Asda delivery was due.

When the delivery arrived there were three substitutions:

Kettle Beetroot and Parsnip crisps – subbed with Pita Crisps?

Warburton Brown Thins – subbed with Wholemeal thins.

Jam doughnuts – subbed with Caramel Choux Buns. (Eurgh!)

I knocked on the lady in the next flat’s door and gave her the crisps and Choux buns.

P1020620Got me nosh, beef pie, pickled egg, beetroot, sweet potato mince, carrots and potato scones.

Sat down to eat it and realised I’d cooked the pie and potatoes on the wrong setting in the oven and it was not cooked through.

Still, I ate the beetroot carrots and pickled egg.

Finished reading me classic car paper, must save it to give to the flats caretaker Robert when I see him.

Nodded off and on trying to watch TV – gave up and in to the onslaught of sleep… Zzzz…

TTFN folks.

Inchcock Today Wed 9 Dec 15: I think things might be getting better… very worrying that! Hehe!

All I ask is a chance to prove that money can’t make me happy.

Wednesday 9th December 2015

Up and mind working straight away about the things that need sorting today – even more things than yesterday I think.

To the WC at 04:10 hrs. Cleaned up ‘Little Inchy’.

Made a cuppa and took me morning medications, laptop on and finished Tuesdays diary.

Got paperwork readied and in folder to take to FraserBrown (The mock Solicitors) this morning.

Got some Facebooking in before getting missen cleaned up and double checking I have all I need for me visit to the con-men later.

Tried to catch Deana in the Community Shed on me way out to ask her if number 67 had returned any mail to her that was for me

She and Obergruppenführer Julie were in. Gave them some nibbles and told them about the letter from FraserBrown and let Deana have a look at it to see if I’d done right like.

01W01bBless FraserBrown.

Went back to the reception area and has a jolly goo natter with some of the residents who were waiting to go out into the wind and get the bus.

P1020610Caught the L9 bus into town. Read me Classic car paper en-route and dropped off on Queen street.

Sneaked some seed to the birds as I walked through the slab square and up Friar Lane to the solicitors dwellings.

A different lady was on the reception this time.

P1020609I handed her the paperwork and asked if she could give me a receipt for it please. No sneers tuts or scowls today! I liked this gal.

As I left, the usual Concentration Camp guard-like receptionist like one returned – lucky there I missed her. Maybe me luck’s changing at last for the better? Hehe!

P1020611I wandered around town a while calling at various shops searching for some ‘loose fitting’ underpants without luck. Tried Marks and Spencers and Debenhams.

Shame that.

Caught the bus back to the flats, called into the community hut but Deana was out and about.

Got to the flat and it seems the tablets I got are working and me visit to the bathroom porcelain was getting less er… well it was a somewhat firmer experience shall I say.

P1020614Got the laptop on and recorded details of me visit to FraserBrown the imitation solicitors.

Photographed me receipt just in case.

Made a cuppa and the chap from the Nottingham City Homes Works arrived to check out me heaters.

Decent sort of chap. Patient, explained things well to me.

Cleaned me carpet in’t the living room. I should have enough hot water for a bath later now.

P1020615Got me nosh on, Beef pasty, sausage roll, diced onion, mashed cheesy spuds and green beans.

Took me medications.

Updated this load of twiddle while it cooked.

Rang Sister Jane to update her on things. No reply.

Fatigue dawned again and for the rest of the night I watched TV and DVDs in between falling asleep. (I’m getting good at this again ain’t I? Hehe).

Inchcock Today Tue 8 Dec 15: Mental Mayhem… so much to do!

I used to be indecisive. Now I’m not so sure?

Tuesday 8th December 2015

Up and into the WC at 04:00 hrs. Cleaned up ‘Little Inchy’

Made a cuppa and took me morning medications.

Checked the emails, nothing from the GP about me upcoming (I hope) procedure for ‘Little Inchy’. However I did get some messages/comments that made me determined to lose this pathetic depression. Patti sent me something to try each morning, Tessa sent me wonderful encouragement and Dunc cheered me up. Thanks folks.

It was warmer this morning, temp in the kitchen up to 61ºF now. The winds are forecast to get up again and much rain forecast too, but nothing like earlier they say.

The heater advisor is calling tomorrow twixt 12:30 > 18:30 hrs.

I decided I will go out today instead of staying in moping and cleaning. This is part of me new ‘Get-missen-out-of-the-rut’ routine. As Patti tells me, ‘Do what I enjoy without guilt!’ So I’ll go on a bus trip to Derby and take some photographs of the ducks and pigeons! If all goes well, I’ll post them on here later.

Got me Tuesday diary done and started this one off. Between many cups of tea, some of which I actually managed to drink. Hehe!

Started a graphic for a Cyber mate’s birthday.BBcake

Well, it might make him laugh? Oh dear, I think I’m a day or so early with this?

Did some Facebooking.

Had a good soak in the bath and readied missen for the horrendous duties to be performed today!

Called in the Community shed, Obergruppenfurheress Julie in to ask advice about me rent arrears and the approach to take on me visit to Loxley House and the Nottingham City Homes people. No suggestions received.

P1020596Caught the L9 bus into the City Centre and made me way to the bank to see why I had no received any statements, but it was so busy I continued on through town to the Rent Offices at Loxley House to see about the rent arrears situation and my loss of Good Tenant Status.

Got in and asked the receptionist if I could speak with someone, sat on the rather low seats and awaited the arrival of the personage.

A Mr McKenzie arrived, and I showed him the letter I’d received and explained my concerns. He assured me not to worry all was in hand? And told me I never had a ‘Good Tenant Status’ to lose in the first place, despite the letter informing me I had lost it? The young man was patient and treated me decently.

He then helped me to get up out of the low chair (I did feel a fool!) and I departed. Feeling het-up over all the jobs I had to sort, I thought I’d get some Cream French horns from Tesco, but they had none in.

P1020598I walked down by the canal and fed some ducks a i walked over the bridge.

Then into Broad Marsh mall calling in a shop to get some ratatouille and carrots on my way through and out up to bank again, where they were not so busy now and got to talk to a rather automaton non-human adviser, who lacked any compassion or empathy, about me lack of statements.

Turns out, that they had changed me address on the system, but had put the wrong flat number. Now I must remember to ask Deana if flat 67 had returned any mail to her? Another job to forget Tsk!

P1020601Up into the slab square through the milling shoplifters of Olde Nottingham.

Called in Boots and got some diarrhoea tablets.

Caught the bus back to the flats.

The Christmas Tree near the lifts in the lobby had returned, and someone had P1020602decorated a chair there.

Up the lift and WC’d again just in time, took a while and when I got out and went into the P1020605kitchen…

Boy had the weather changed from minutes ago!

It was belting down, and stayed like this for a while.

Eventually, after I’d sorted me paperwork out, it stopped and looked P1020604likely to start again.

The mail was delivered and guess what?…

Another letter from FraserBrown the pretend Solicitors.

More forms to sign and return – to be honest I didn’t fully understand what they were about.

P1020603More Hassle! Must get the bus to FraserBrown (mockery of efficiency) Solicitors with it in the morning – and make sure I get back quick for the Nottingham City Homes caller who’s coming to explain the storage heater system and controls for me.

Got some nosh.

Sister Jane returned my earlier call. She probably regretted doing this as I waffled on about FraserBrown problems and me health. Hehe!

I was mentally drained. After I cleaned the pots I sat down and made notes of things that needed doing tomorrow, put the TV on made a cuppa and fell asleep.

The land-line rang, it was well dark now and I stumbled to get to it – it was BJ, wanted to know if I’d like to go to the Papplewick Pumping Station visit on Sunday. I explained about the ‘Little Inchy’ possible treatment and I might get short notice to go in for surgery. He said he’d phone Saturday to see how things were. Bless his cotton socks.

Head down again.
