Sunday 9th July 2017
Welsh: Dydd Sul 9 Gorffennaf, 2017
0500hrs: The Strange Awakening.
I woke, very late for me, and found I had my feet up on top of the £300 second-hand recliner and found the DVD remote control, the camera and the box with last night’s medications, not taken and a pencil, all of these were laying on my ample multi-fold ridden belly? The curtains were open, yet I recall closing them last night.
And, why the heck would I have all these things laying and in my folds of my belly? The remote perhaps, if I fell asleep using it?
As soon as I moved, both Arthur Itis and Anne Gyna attacked! Arthur, obviously because of the ridiculous position I’d left the legs and knees in. Why Anne Gyna had a go at me, I don’t know.
I painfully straightened the knees and legs, and gurgling issued from the innards and an urgent mission presented itself – I must get to the Porcelain Throne ASAP. – I’m afraid I didn’t make it on time. Oh dear!
The session although lasting only a few moments contained, Splashing, gushing, spurting, squirting and pebble-dashing of the porcelain and me. Humph! It took me ages to get the room, and myself cleaned up. Still feeling a bit queasy, now.
Took the morning medications and made up the pots for next weeks doses. Needless to say, I was happy I still had some of the Morrison Acute Diarrhoea Derek tablets and took one with the other medications.
Carried out the Health Checks, during which I had a wee-wee… twice?
Sys 163, Dia 86, Pulse 89, Temp 34.9 and weight 14St-8.8lb.
Made a mug of tasty tea.
On the horizon, out of the kitchen window, I thought I saw smoke.
I’m still not sure what it was even after looking at this photograph?
Noticed they had cut the grass in the bottom field so I might be able to get out and have a
wander through the Copse later, take some nature pictures perhaps… hello, the rumbling innards have started again. Back to the Porcelain Throne.
The session went alright, not so messy this time at all. But Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis were still having a go at me. Tsk! I suddenly felt so old for some reason? Then I thought about the things I have to do this coming Monday. Only the prescriptions to collect and see one of the Obergruppenfureresses about the bill from the 3 phone company demanding a months rent again. And this, after Obergefreiteress Julie had told them last month that I wanted to cancel the contract.
Huh!
Also, I have to fill in a City Care Satisfaction Survey about the nurses who did the Enoxaparin injections for me, five pages of this.
Also, the Police Pegasus Contact Management Update needs doing, only three pages though.
Got the computer on and started this diary off to here. Then finished off yesterday’s log and got it posted.
Had a wee-wee. Went into the kitchen to get some more antiseptic wipes and spotted two things out of the window below.
Only one double-line-parker this morning, and I think there is an animal I spotted in the bushes?
Opened the Emails and replied responded and did some WordPress reading.
Did some Facebooking, then created a graphic or two for the TFZers site.
This one, for a celebration of Sandie Lentz’s Birthday. I hope she has the best one ever! Lovely woman:

This one of a group of TFZer lads making a fuss of Eve. I was quite pleased with one, it took a few hours, but I like it and hope the others do too.

Started another graphic off, and the Amazon man arrived with the parcel, containing the hearing-boosters and lid remover.
What followed was such a farce, failure and frustrating hour and a half, that I am going to make a single post about the mayhem, blood, injury and property damage caused
while I was sorting out and getting the items assessed!
I’ll do it now while I’m still angry at myself!
Done it.
Far too late up for me, now. Feeling all drained again.
Got the meal cooked and did some Facebooking while it did do.
Just smoked bacon with BBQ sauce, a bit of sourdough bread and (At last I got to try out the Chinese mushrooms) fungi.
When I
had to stab holes in the lid of the jar when I failed to get it off with the new wonder lid-removal tool from Amazon, I was lucky enough to have an empty beetroot jar to transfer the fodder into. Not big enough, so I had to throw some away, though.
They really were delicately tasty, mind.
Shame about breaking the mirror, I keep looking, expecting it to be there. Hehe!
I’ll have to get another one soon, or I might be deprived of looking at my distinctively handsome and attractive young face. ![]()
Took the medications and did the Health Checks.
I think the weighing scales might be broken?
Settled down after the meal, to watch some exciting programmes on the TV. Huh! Nod-off, wake, wee-wee, nod off, wake, wee-wee, television viewing, nod off, wake…
To make more frustrating, I was having dreams on each nod-off but could remember nothing about them. Grr!
TTFN all.

Performed the Health Checks and took the medications.
The sky was different this morning, reminded me of the Shepherds Warning.
I did see that there is at 1400hrs today, a Fire Service Meeting in the new temporary Winwood Centre Portacabin. For the Woodthorpe Court Tenants, 1500hrs for the Winchester Tenants (Who are lucky to have the bus stop moved to just outside their block of flats when the Woodthorponians have to walk so much further to get a bus. And the new cabin it nearest to them as well! But it doesn’t bother me!) Hehehe!
end, then said my farewells to Olive and sneaked out from the door at the opposite end of the cabin, sensing the glares and stares behind me as I did so.
Had a rather morose walk down Winchester Street Hill into Sherwood, and called at the Continental Food Shop. Asked for three slices belly pork with stuffing and garlic, and one Polish cooked chicken thigh. And a jar of Chinese mixed mushrooms in oil. I thought they were a bit expensive at £8.51? (When I got back to the flat later, there were six (Not the three I’d asked for, slices of pork and two, not the one I’d asked for, chicken thighs! Humph!).
Called in the Charity shops but nothing appealing, then I made my way to the bus shelter to catch an L9 bus back up the hill to the Winwood compound.
Dropped off the bus at the Winchester flats where it has been relocated to, and in need of a wee-wee, I made my way down to the end of Chestnut Walk to me Woodthorpe Court block.
ave them cold with the meal.

It was from Jenny, the flats coordinator, a former Woodthorpe Obergruppenfurheress Warden and tenant.
washing into the dryer.
Up again, both of the lifts now working again.
Did some more updating on the diary. Got it finished and posted off. It was time to go and collect the laundry again.
Went to make a cuppa, and saw that I’d forgotten about the bag of laundry I’d dropped as I got through the door in my haste to get to the wetroom. So I put away the stuff in the airing cupboard.

The Anticoagulation Record had arrived while I was out at the Hut.
I made an Email for the Sherrington Park Surgery requesting an appointment as instructed for Wednesday 12th July as early as possible for the next INR blood test. I added the photograph I took of the Anticoagulation Records details, like a subtle sarcastic reminder that they have not sent me an Email with the changed dosages. I don’t suppose they will be interested really, though.
Took the midday medications and did the Health Checks.
No rain at all today yet. It did say on the radio, some areas will get none, and others a ‘Yellow Warning’ storm?
astle Boulevard twenty minutes ago.
Did the evening Health Checks.
Got the fodder served up, and a great one it was too, taste-wise.

Kept waking up and nodding off again for an hour or so, so drained after yesterday’s exertions and hassle.
Had a wee-wee.Then did the Health Checking routine.
Had a wee-wee, then got some potatoes on the slow boil to have later when I get back from the surgery.
Out and to the end of the road then right down the hill and left and up the Mansfield Road hill and down into Carrington.
To the bus stop.
using this bus, but I was not sure if the L9 was going to arrive or not. They often fail to turn up.
and started the ascent up to the flats. The feet were stinging, Arthur Itis and Anne Gyna both kicked off.
Note the bus stop could not be further away from Woodthorpe Court and is situated right next to Winchester Court. Doesn’t bother me though!
Got the fodder prepared and served up.

Searched for the Anticoagulation Card again. No luck. Danged thing is somewhere cause I found it the other day… Tsk!
Through the gates and was greeted with the relocated bust of Nottingham MP Samuel Morley. (1809 – 1886), Head of I & R Morley in Nottingham.

Over the road and down into the Slab Centre Square.
fortune buying the DVDs. Huh, I am a fool!
He patiently persevered and eventually got the nasty clump put for me.
Then he started to mould the ear pieces, five minutes in each hole alternately and they were ready and moulded.

Back in and did the insides of them. Cleaned the frames and then sorted out the loose paperwork into folders and updated the written diary.
Noticed when I went to put the kettle on, the motorists were still blocking each other in?
I got the lamb shank in the saucepan, peas in a small one and the potatoes were already in the Crock-pot.
Better get the fodder ready.

With innards now rumbling and attention being given to me by Reflux Roger, I cleaned things up and returned to the kitchen.
The tea had gone cold, so I made another one and took the mornings medications along with an additional Anit-Trots capsule.
Got the pots sorted out and had a wee-wee.
I put some small potatoes in the Crock-Pot and seasoned them with the vegetable stock cubes.
Not that I can really blame them, mind. Parking is a nightmare here, with all the works taking place and the garages being pulled down. The chap who moved the cones on the right has a Disabled ticket showing on the windscreen. If all the handicapped spaces are taken, what else can they do? I see another white car has had now parked on the double yellow lines behind the red one. Mayhem! It’s time like these, I don’t mind having had to give up my Driving Licence.
king at last. Caught up.
Got the meal sorted out.

Made a brew and did the Health Checks.

Outside the flat foyer entrance door, the builders who re-updating the complex had erected these steel poles come bars in front of my beloved Woodthorpe Court block.
the Winchester Court of course. Hehe!
offices being erected for the duration of the ‘Build’ and modernisation of the place. 2½ to 3 years, is the forecast.
photoed the workers building section off area on the previously grass lawned patch.
e bus stop and few more tenants had arrived at it, but they were all from the other flats, not mine. Not vert talkative either, only amongst themselves.
hop and hobbled into the Victoria Shopping Centre (Mall) and to the Tesco Store. As I walked the length of the ground floor, carefully, as there were many folk milling about today, I thought I could hear an elephant wailing at first.
sounded terrible to me. Overly loud, distorted and cringe-making.
Hobbled around the City Centre snapping away, Clinton Street first.
e.
take a photo of one stall that

for me anyway.
Queen Street, the police were removing four people from the Primark Store. With all the bags with them, I assumed this would have been Nottingham shoplifters again.
Caught the bus back to the flats.
Great meal tonight. Chicken leg, cheese and mini pickle pies, triple cooked chips, pork & mushroom pate and beetroots.
It was looking a bit gloomy outside as I put the kettle on.
Got the computer going and looked at the weather in the USA.
The alarm panel now has a yellow light flashing intermittently?
Took a break from computerisationing, and got the cleaning cloths and oven gloves washed out. Then realised, or rather thought to myself, how am I going to get the wet oven thingies dried?
Got garden peas de-podded and into the saucepan in water and demerara sugar for later.

Got the meal sorted.
