Inchcock Today – Wednesday 6th December 2017: Embarrassing Whoopsiedangleplop from the rear end… Tsk!

Wednesday 6th December 2017

Samoan: Aso Lulu 6 Tesema 2017

0145hrs: Awoke, with a deep-feeling that my recent years of scaevity, were about to get worse. Maybe, I had been dreaming and couldn’t remember what about, but something had planted this new fear in my brain, and it was not going anywhere.

As I recalled that the meeting about the Heater Controls was at 1000hrs this morning in Obergruppenfurheress Warden Deana and Obergefreitereress Julie’s temporary hut; I also remembered that the washing needed doing. So I set about gathering the required things and made my way down to the laundry room.

On my various trips up and down to get the laundry done, I photographed the new posters on the walls outside the lifts on the ground floor.

The only one that concerned me was about Mo’s hubby passing on. The proper wording from Jenny showed respect, I thought. Poor Mo.

Got the machine going and back up in the lift. A Porcelain Throne visit, that was not one of the best I’ve ever had. Wet yet lumpy, with much blood. Set the alarm for going down again.

Down and got the clothes moved from the washer to dryer. Cleaned the filter and casing of the machine. Back up.

Did the Health Checks and took the morning medications with a mug of Extra-Strong English Breakfast Tea.

Not that it was strong, though.

The readings were not much different to the last few times. Everything was just a little higher than usual, but nothing to concern myself over I think. Made a start updating the Inchcock Today for Tuesday.

Down again in the elevator. Got the clothes out of the dryer and folded them ready to put them in the laundry bag.

Cleaned the filter, drum and casing.

I didn’t notice until I came to my downloading this photo on the left, but it looks like a little more Nottingham Artwork, on the window ledge?

Took this photograph when I got in the apartment, along with another two, I can use them when I update the TFZer Visits Nottingham album.

Got the cleaned togs put away, and got the bag ready with the rest of the things that needs doing tomorrow. Big stuff, towels, dressing gowns, jumpers etc. This is, of course, if I remember.

I got the Tuesday chronicle finished and posted off, then made a start on this one. Not for long though, back to the Porcelain Throne. Painfull and messy, but far less blood this time.

Changed the pants. A costly, but essential wear in my current humiliating and embarrassing circumstances.

I might not have been feeling salubrious exactly, but notwithstanding the earlier EQ warning that things were going to get worse and the Throne dilemma, I felt quite chirpy? I suppose I should have been in a saturnine mood.

I took a break from this diary and did some WordPress reading and comment replies.

Another demand fro a Porcelain Throne visit answered. Changed again, no liquids at all, no bleeding at, just a painful evacuation. I’ll be on Senna tablets if this carries on! Haha!

Went on Facebooking.

Off to get the ablutionisationalistalisationing (Hehe!) done now.

All readied, and I set off to the Heating Training at the shed.

Only four of us there, the other three tenants had already got their heaters installed. I considered phoning Lynton Cox up to ask for help! The control box 7″x5″x 4″, for the heaters works all three of them (I think). Apparently, there’s two on-off buttons either end of the radiators, to be left on and lit all the time – until we need to shut down the heaters for summer. One input, one output. A computerised settings box fits on the top as well. Button for turning to make choices, and pressing to select. Three Mode Buttons. A Boost Option that they recommend we don’t use. Oh, dear, I got baffled to start with.

We have to set the four periods of when the heat need turning on for each day of the week? The temperature to set. When we are on holiday (Not that this applies to me of course, Tsk!).

The man was one of those that instead of talking slower, shouted, making understanding him difficult. In the end, he had to do a one on one with me, then I think I got it sort off alright. Nice chap, though.

He dropped a packet into my shopping bag.

I opened it, and wondered why?

I thanked him and made my way out to the bus stop to go up to the Aldi-store.

It had gone a little murky,  and the lamp post near the hut was blowing-about a bit worryingly?

I was chinwagging with Rose and Mary when the rumbling instantaneously started in the breadbasket. I had to abandon my catching the bus, mumbled that I had to go back, Rose knew of my problems and asked me if I had any tablets in-hand and kindly offered to give me some out of her bag. (Bless her Cotton Socks!) I thanked her, told her I had plenty in stock now, and hastily beat a retreat back to the apartment.

Got in and on the Throne. Huh! Things had changed again this time, back to the squirting and spraying! Still, no bleeding so that was good. A cleaning up session followed, and I had to change the pants again. A delicate and embarrassing situation.

Made a brew and did the Health Checks, then took the midday medications. Spilt the tea and made another one.

Opened CorelDraw and made a graphic for fun. It took a few hours, but I enjoyed doing this one and thought it came out humorously. I hope.

Then I did a Morrison order for next week.

Got the nosh going. Canned tomatoes with extra from a jar of tomato and mushroom sauce, oven baked bread roll and the Polish Sausage, cut in three to get it in the pan. (Hehe!) The bread roll was delicious.

The sausage tasted okay, but the skin was thick and sturdy, and it was very fatty. I shall not be having the other one, it’ll have to go.

Did the Health Checks and took the medications.

The sun seemed reluctant to leave us tonight.

Off for another Porcelain Throne session. This time all wind and pith. Got the stomach aches afterwards.

Into the £300 second-hand recliner, got the Boon DVD on and watched two episodes. No nodding off yet.

The noise, tap-tapping from the Erk in the flat above started.

Put the TV on, and that did it, first set of commercials and I was off asleep.

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 5th December 2017

Tuesday 5th December 2017

Scottish Gaelic: Dimàirt 5mh Dùbhlachd 2017

0535hrs: By Jiminy, I must have needed that sleep; over eight hours without any interruption. Eight-Hours in the land of Nod? Me? Not been known, for donkey’ years!

No signs of any nocturnal-nibbling, no scribble on the notepad and Duodenal Donald’s hassle, was absent!

But, a new silent gurgling was coming from the innards.  And the tummy and top of the legs were itching proliferously. I feared an imbroglio of a medical nature might be imminent. (I was right, Tsk!)

Had to visit the Porcelain Throne with some urgency. Made it in time, but only just. Squirting jet-propelled like liquids, all yellow in colour? It is somewhat ambiguous as to whether or not this is a good sign or bad. The mind was enhaloed with confusion, as I cleaned up and medicated Haemorrhoid Harold’s area.

The computer was started, and I sent an email to the surgery, asking for appointments to see the doctor and the blood tests. To add to the already befuddled grey-cells, I got a message telling me that it failed to go through.

So, I tried again with a Letter and long number from an earlier message from them. It seems to have gone through this time. Well, I hope it has anyway.

The itching has now moved to the back as well?

Off to the Porcelain Throne again. Same results, only liquid evacuated, but at least there was no bleeding at all.

The intercom phone chirped into life, and of course, then I remembered the Morrison Order was due. Tsk! (This getting up late had confused me more than I thought, Huh!) The deliveryman took the bags through to the kitchen for me, and I thanked him. Handed him last weeks carrier bags, he pointed out that the Wagon Wheels were unavailable, and off he went.

I revisited the Throne! No solids again, but far less liquid this time and much more wind? Not that this helped the stomach ache or itching.

At last, I got around to doing the Health Checks and getting the medications taken. I nearly made a righWhoopsiedangleplop and gave myself an injection of the Enoxaparin, when it is not needed at the moment. What a Plonka!

The results were not good this morning, though. All a bit high, I thought. An asterisk appeared on the read-out next to the pulse?

The workmen have been coming up and down in their external hoist all the time, and drilling and knocking on various balcony bases. But the noise did not bother me today.

I got the medications for the diahorrea and Sennas in the drawer. Along with those, I bought yesterday from the Poundland Shop because I’d forgotten I’d ordered these from Morrisons. Sad, I know!

I found the Wagon Wheel was in the bags.

The jars of tomato and mushroom sauce, I bought to be able to add some liquid to the tinned tomatoes and be able to keep the pot in the fridge in between.

A load of the Polish Sourdough, a treat I get for Obergruppenfurheress Warden Deana and Obergefreiteress Warden Julie, had arrived alright.

I’d ordered a pack of two Morliny Masurian cooked sausages, that had been on offer at £1.10 off of the regular price. I’d assumed they were 200g packs like the others. When it came to finding room for them in the fridge, I found they were ginormous and 750g. Hehe!

The Squib Fish Sauce was a more substantial bottle than I expected as well, for £1.20, it was 725ml, a bargain. Made in Thailand. The contents were shown as; Anchovy (Stolphorus spp) Extract Fish 77%, Salt 20%, Sugar 3%.

I looked up the Stolphorus spp and got this description back from Google: Actinopterygii (ray-finned fishes) > Clupeiformes (Herrings) > Engraulidae (Anchovies) > Engraulinae. I’m not much wiser now. Haha!

Off to the Porcelain Throne once again. Same results, but with more wind. And why had I got this itching on the legs, belly and back, that has now started to affect the face cheeks?

I poddled into the kitchen to make another mug of tea before starting on the Inchcock Todays. Looked out of the window, and saw a car come by. I don’t know why, but I took several shots of it as it parked up, and used them to make this funny:

Not even a bit humorous, no idea why I did this whatsoever?

Off to the Throne yet again. Little liquid, no solids and much wind evacuated.

Back to the mug of cold tea and made another, taking another Dia-Limit capsule.

Did the midday Health Checks a little early and took the medications.

Got a reply from the Surgery.

Put the details on the Google Calendar and the written diary.

The banging and clanging continue, but this is only to be expected.

I must remember in the morning, the Heater Instruction course at 1000hrs in the Obergruppenfhureress shed.

Got the Monday post finished at last. Then made a start on this one. The thirst and itching continue, too.

Made yet another mug of tea.

Then went on WordPress Reader.

Some great stuff on there. This ode and photographicalisationing of the nocturnal Cranes really caught my naturist’s eye.

Nocturnal Cranes – Photos and Ode

Excellent work Mr Price.

This flipping itching is driving me bonkers!

On Facebook to catch up. Sandie posted an old car on TFZ expressing her desire to drive one like it. I made a graphic up and posted it.

Off to get the late ablutions done now. Back in a bitski!

Had a good shower shave and medicalisationing session. Sorted the bin bags and took them to the rubbish chute.

As I went into the kitchen, I heard the sound of sirens. But no alarms were going off anywhere in the building? Had a look out of the window to see the Frie Service in attendance again?

I popped into the Wardens hut on the way and found a meeting taking place. Gave Julie and Deana their nibbles and Polish bread.

I left and off on a limp down into Sherwood, getting some odd looks from the residents at the meeting.

Going down Winchester Street Hill, I soon came across the first Nottingham Street art of the day, in the gutter.

The maggots seemed nice and plump.

Onward down the now almost deserted Winchester Street.

On to Mansfield Road to have a little wander and get a little exercise in.

As I walked up the hill, a row of three shops in a row had now been closed down.

The first one only opened a couple of months ago.

All was gloom, though.

At the top of the hill, the closed down Swinton Insurance office come shop, has been replaced with a Card Factory outlet.

I assume that this is only a temporary arrangement. To cover the Christmas and New Year rush for cards period?

A nosey inside showed me two staff and many customers milling around.

This looked like it would be a haven, Sherwoods Shoplifters Paradise, I reckon.

I foolishly wandered into the Co-op Store. Came out with grated cheese, Jam Doughnuts for the tenant’s nibbles, smoked streaky bacon, tomato & mushroom sauce and the only thing I went in for, 99 Tea Bags. Tsk!

The itching was still annoying me, and Hippy Hilda, bothersome.

Further up the hill and into the Wilko Store, came out having spent £12, on cleaning stuff and a few screw-lidded storage pots.

To the bus stop and caught an L9 back up the hill to the apartments.

I called in the meeting, Jenny sorted me a chair bless her.

The new hearing aids were much better now, although with background noise I still missed much of what was going on. Then, Trotsky Terence and the stomach rumbling started, and I had to make my way out and to the Porcelain Throne. I think I managed to apologise, explain to Jenny before I departed in rather an embarrassing hurry.

Unfortunately, I did not make it to the Throne in time. Seconds too late. Needed a lot of cleaning up afterwards, Huh! And a bit of blood, wet and clumps were not making me feel too confident. More solids though, this session.

Had a shower, ’cause I felt awful. And the Safety Pants were adorned, better late than never. Much washing to do in the morning!

Put the shopping away, and got on with sorting the meal of the day. Surprisingly, I felt hungry for once.

Potato Waffle sticks, tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette, Pork and mushroom pate, apple, Marmite crisps, two slices of buttered Scottish Plain and a whipped lemon yoghourt. Despite my feeling a little low about the Porcelain Throne Accifauxpa, I ate the lot of it!

Took the medications and did the last Health Checks.

Settled in the recliner to watch some DVD ‘Boon’ episodes. Fell asleep, woke up three hours later. Turned on the TV to watch ‘Law & Order’… fell asleep…

Inchcock Today – Monday 4th December 2017

Monday 4th December 2017

Italiano: Lunedì 4 Dicembre 2017

0130hrs: The body stirred into life, and waited for the brain to catch up. Duodenal Donald was still with me, but no signs of any Dizzy Dennis thankfully.

A distinct lack of enthusiasm overcame me. The EQ told me I was going to have a day of disturbances, disappointments and pain. (Of course, Duodenal Donald tells me this as well, Hehe!) I was living with saturninity and expectancy of failings today. I hope I’m wrong.

I tried to recall the dreams I knew that I’d had, but no real memories were available.

The pain from the toe reminded me of last nights stubbing of it, as I made my way to the kitchen and got the kettle on and sorted the week’s medication pots.

Off to the Porcelain Throne. TheTrotskys had eased off a lot, but the surprisingly painful evacuation had blobs of blood in it. I cleaned and medicated up afterwards and used the antiseptic wipes liberally all over.

Back to the kitchen, took the medications did today’s checks and then updated the week’s record on Excel.

Apart from the weight, which was expected as I’ve been stuck indoors that long now, thanks to The Trotsky Terence terror. Hehe! Things looked okay to me. Had a wee-wee.

Did the WordPress Reading next, and answered comments.

0415hrs: Off to the Porcelain Throne. I’m going to see the doctor this morning to get an appointment for the Warfarin DVT blood test and to see her and tell her of the bleeding from the rear end now being in the… solid matter as well.

Scrubbed up again, wiped the surfaces, back to the kitchen to make another mug of tea.

I opened the window wide and took this photographicalisation of the morning sky. On downloading it, there seem to be three moons up there? Towards the right of the real planet and down a bit, much smaller ones? Beats me! Hehe!

It could be the Alien Orbs? Coming down to hide my phone, camera, hearing aids, spectacles and keys, of course? Hahaha!

Had a wee-wee, and made the tea. Still no hunger for food, though. I must remember to tell the Doctor about this as well.

Went on to Facebooking.

Had a wee-wee.

Onto CorelDraw. Made a start doing the prep -work for the TFZer Dance Series.

Got the ablutions tended to later, a good scrub-up and polish, dressed up all warmly and sorted the waste bags out and took them to the chute.

Two flats of the six on my floor are having their heaters installed today. A right organised mess out there. I decided to go to town for a wander and get some undies and socks. Best not to be in with all the noise.

Got the old camera in the bag, hearing aids in and set off. I had to walk down the stairs cause so much rubbish to get by, and the lads were busy bringing up stuff for the installations. Not bothered though, plenty of time. Mind you, by the time I’d got down the 24 flights of concrete stairs, the sore spot on the side of the right foot, was twinging. Hehe!

Duodenal Donald had eased off, bless him.

On the five minute walk to the bus stop, the sun came out and back in again several times. Masses of pensioners arrived at the bus stop. I managed a natter with one or two of them before the bus came. I was the only one who got on the City Bound bus… can’t be B.O., can it? Haha! Gave the crossword book a good bashing en route.

I dropped off on Upper Parliament Street and made my way to Clinton Street to look in the Direct Shop to see if they had any of the long sleeved thick shirts in. They hadn’t! I did get three pairs of socks that looked warm but thin, for £3.99. Off then to the Primark Store, to peruse for the same types of shirts.

Got some more socks, underpants and Chocolate coins for the nibbles.

£20.80 spent there.

Out and hobbled through the fayre things as I walked to and through the Slab Square.

Got a decent shot in the stalls area opposite the Council House.

It was too early for the Ice Skating Rink to be open yet.

I did notice that the Hot Chestnut cabin was charging £2.50 for a tiny pot this year.

I tried to take a photographicalisation of Wheeler Gate. But this camera has not got a viewfinder built in it, and I didn’t realise all the red spots that were on it.

Made a right mess of it, I did. I tried to get rid of some of the red later when I got home, using CorelPhotopaint.

I failed. Tsk!

Went to the Poundland shop. Found some Diahorrea Capsules and Senna tablets, also got a block-nose spray. I have plenty of stock now.

To the bus stop and caught the L9 back to the flats. When I dropped off, I thought I’d take a shot of the new build taking place. As I took the photo, bleeping came from the camera? Never had that before? LAte when I got around to downloading the card to the computer, I had nine identical photos on the SCHD? I think I’ll give this camera to the charity shop.

Mary passed by, and we had a hobble together to the flats and a chinwag and laugh. That cheered me up.

I got in, put the clothes away, had a wee-wee and did the Health Checks and took the medications.

Then made a start on finishing the TFZer Dance Competition Training graphicalisations.

This cost me five hours, but I seemed determined to get them finished and posted off today.

Why this determination matured, I don’t know.

But it did, and I stuck at it, no mugs of tea, not nibbles and only the wee-wees made me take a break. Hehe!

Number One, I did Pattie, Sandie and Marie, with Keith, Thomas G and me being their partners for this one.

Number Two; Julie, Janet A and Wanda, with TFZer Gents Andy and Thomas S. I put J’s real husband in this one dancing with her.

Number Three; Mary F with me as her partner, Meritt partnering Suzie and Andy with Linda.

Number Four; Gladys with Keith, Warren with Dizz and Lynda with Andy.

I tried to make this one a bit more vibrant.

Andy has Jillie as a dancer, Meritt has Janet B, and I’ve got Joycie, in this one. I scattered some nibbles and picnic foods about in the background.

I hoped it might get some comments from them, about this. Hehe!

Shirley with Meritt, Lona with Thomas S and Thomas with Nancy on this, the sixth one of the series.

I liked the green background on this one, made a change I thought.

Patricia and Meritt, Lyzzi and me and Warren with Shirley.

I hasten to add, that I do get confused about the gals names sometimes. So I’m hoping I’ve got it right this time.

Worn out now. I went on Facebook afterwards and made an album with these seven in it, I can add some later if all goes well.

Made a mug of tea and had a wee-wee, washed up.

Getting dark now.

By the time I’d decided what to have for the nosh, I realised I didn’t feel hungry yet, again. So I went on here to update this diary.

A quick bash on the WordPress Reader.

Got the potato-gratin in the oven, fanks (with balsamic vinegar) in the saucepan and Scottish Bread and BBQ sauce ready. I think I might eat this one.

So tired and it is hours past my usual head-down time.

Got the meal served up.

It looked good and tasted brilliant, and I ate nearly all of it. An improvement.

Washed the pots and settled down in the £300 second-hand recliner.

Did the Health Checks and medications were taken.

Turned the TV on and after a few nod-offs and wake-ups, I drifted off into the land of Nod.

Inchcock Today – Sunday 3rd December 2017: Emotional ups and downs today, Accifauxpa and Whoopsiedangleplop and Duodenal Donald kicks off… Hey-Ho!

Sunday 3rd December 2017

Sunday 3rd December 2017

0110hrs: finding the words to describe what happened when I woke after two hours sleep, is problematical.  For the grey-cells had gone off on their own again, making anything logical or coherent hard to decipher for the first hour or so. Even remembering parts of that first sixty-minutes was a right fertummelt.

Without removing my mass from the £300 second-hand recliner, I know I played with the mobile phone to get it working again, no idea what I was doing of course, but it seems to be working alright now?

I found myself in the kitchen, not realising how I got in there, or even why I went in, apparently in a rush… I think. So I put the kettle on and took the medications.

As I went to do the Health Checks, the book was already filled in with this morning’s readings? Odd or what?

I spent some time on the Porcelain Throne, got through a few chapters of the book. A good clean up after another messy session and wiped surfaces, door knobs, taps with the antiseptic wipes.

Back in the main room, to find no signs of any nocturnal nibbling, notwithstanding my not having eaten any meal yesterday, or anything this morning? Yet there were plenty of nibbles unopened on the Ottoman. I had notes scribbled on both notepads, but they were beyond deciphering. The earlier ones about the nightmare were eligiblish, though.

The cover on the chair was in disarray, a pen and the torch on the floor. The brain seemed to be operating again, although slowly and the memory was not good.

I made another cup of tea and decided to finish off the Saturday post, which I did. Then started creating graphics headers for the next few days diaries. This took me over six hours, as I was determined to make some interesting ones. Three trips to the Throne needed while doing this task. I wish Trotsky Terence would make his mind up.

Back to the kitchen to make another mug of tea.

Pondered on what to have to eat later, but could not make my mind up.

Finally, well after 0930 hrs, I got the Graphics finished and started on this post.

First time for ages, I felt a little peckish and thought I’d have a banana. Went into the kitchen again and found they were not ripe yet, still green from Tuesday when they were delivered. I’d left them in the window near the heater, thinking this might ripen them up a bit. But, no.

Made yet another small mug of tea. I’m drinking a lot, but not eating much?

Depression came over me, and I have not the foggiest idea why?

I decided to go on WordPress Reader and see what the other bloggers are posting and have a good perusal of them.

Went on Facebook next.

Got off of it three hours later Tsk!

Got the fodder sorted, Decided on Scottish buttered bread, red cheddar cheese, potato-letters, crispy bacon and franks. Sliced tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette? Hope I can eat it, cause I just don’t feel too hungry? Odd this, the tooth pain eases off after it came out, and now I still can’t get any desire for fodder!

Left a bit of it uneaten, and did not really enjoy what I did nibble?

Fell asleep and the phone rang again and woke me, I ignored it this time.

Duodenal Donald suddenly kicked off, in no uncertain terms.

The sheer pain stopped me getting off to sleep again. Got up and washed the pots. Did the Health Checks, took the medications, tried to read the Erskine Quint book, had a wee-wee and turned the TV on, that did it, I fell asleep.

I knew I’d had some terrible dreams, but no details remained in the grey cells.

Jumped awake, in need of the Porcelain Throne, but just wind, wet and blood arrived? I sensed this was not good.

Back to the recliner and as I settled, I knocked the mug of orange juice off of the Ottoman. Extracting myself from the clutches of the £300 second-hand recliner to fetch a cloth, I stubbed my toe and knocked the camera off of the same Ottoman.

At this stage, bits of the earlier dream returned, why I don’t understand. But I was operating on someone in surgery and could not find the pen in their stomach, they had swallowed, and felt very guilty and sad, this transferred to my current situation instantly, and a depression of grand proportions dawned.

Got the cleaning up done, robotically.

The bloke upstairs was banging about again, as he had been doing on and off all day too.

Dizzy Dennis paid a short visit as I settled once again.

Inchcock Today – Saturday 2nd December 2017

Saturday 2nd December 2017

Welsh: Sadwrn 2 Rhagfyr 2017

0120hrs: I awoke with a stinging pain in the right foot. The mind seemed gnomic-like and hard to process: although the usual sort of vague blankness of content, returned later.

A mild rumbling from the innards served as a warning that the Porcelain Throne needed visiting, and how silly I was to risk baked beans in last nights meal.

I extracted my overweight bouncing flabby-body mass from the £300 second-hand recliner. Hippy Hilda, the new foot pain and Duodenal Donald all started to indicate their attention’s and intentions of giving me grief, as I made my way to the wet-room.

The foot pain I identified, as being caused by Foot-Lady Sue’s overuse of her electric-file on the hard skin.

The session was not so good. Much cleansing and cleaning up required afterwards. But I blamed myself for this, eating the beans.

I noticed that for some reason, the right leg had far more fluid retention than the left one? Also, the ankles had not been affected in either one this time?

I was feeling very low spirited this morning. Yet, I should have been happy that so many other ailments were going easy on me. Haemorrhoid Harold, Roger Reflux, Anne Gyna and Hernia Harry all.

The heater I’d put and left on yesterday in the front room had done its job, the place was less icy now. Although the electric bill is not being looked forward to.

Did the Health Checks and took the medications with a mug of tea.

Updated and finished yesterday’s diary. Then the rumbling from within started again, and back to the Porcelain Throne. False alarm. All wind and spit. Hehe!

I was going to have one last effort at trying to get a decent photograph of the tooth, sneezed, dropped it, and I haven’t seen it since?

0300hrs: Started this blog off, and then went on WordPress Reader and comments.

0410hrs: Off to the Porcelain Throne. Cleaned up, made another brew and took another Dia-Limit Capsule.

Seeing the ginormous pot of Marmite behind the mug after pouring it out, I pondered for a while about should I or should I not, treat myself to a slice of Scottish Plain bread with Marmite? I decided to wait until I saw how the Trotsky situation develops. Possibly prompted by these thoughts, the gurgling from the innards started, and I had to nip to the Throne again. A bit worse this one than the earlier sessions. A lot of cleaning and creaming needed this time. Tsk!

On to CorelDraw, to continue doing the TFZer Food Related graphics.

Many hours later I got them done.

I’m going to do a post of them all on our WordPress.

I had two slices of Marmited Scottish bread – and fell asleep eating it.

Woke and did the Health Checks and took the medications.

Down in the recliner again and fell asleep.

The phone rang, and I fought my way out of the chair over to it. Said Hello twice, but no reply. Rang off.

Fell asleep again, waking with a start after having a nightmare more than a dream. I was being chased in old 1950s Nottingham Streets that I recognised, in the Meadows area. Then along the side of the River Trent… Found I was on the old steamer that used to cruise in summer, next on the opposite side of the river near Trent Bridge. A gang of four were persuing me all the time on pushbikes. At one point we shared fisticuffs, I ran away. Ended up at the Canal on Carrington Street, and then it ended when I woke up.

I can honestly say, that I was so overjoyed to find it was only a dream and not real.

Minutes later I’d nodded off again. Woke up with the TV on? Realised I had not had a meal, only the Marmite Scottish bread. But I had no hunger. I thought it was late morning and began to rise. Looked at the clock, surely I thought, it is not still only 2100hrs? Got the mobile to check the time, but it would not start when I pressed the button on the side. Put it on a charge, but it did not light up as it usually does when charging? Changed plugs, still no go.

Fell asleep again. I found myself on the bank of the river on the West Bridgford side still; I think I forced myself to wake up out of fear?

I checked the mobile, still not charging. Unplugged it and reconnected it, fell asleep.

Inchcock Today – Friday 1st December 2017: Acidea overcame me

Friday 1st December 2017

Dutch: Vrijdag 1 December 2017

Woke up around 0005hrs, with a craving for something to nibble. Had a feel around the tray on the side Ottoman and thought I had found a soft nougat sweet to have. It turns out it was a chocolate covered brazil nut. As I bit into it, trying to recall some dreams, I knew that I’d had but couldn’t – Snap! Out came the loose incisor! I very nearly swallowed it.

Later I took this photograph of it with what looked like a metal strip protruding from the bottom of the tooth. Could this be part of the filling I had a few months ago? And, why did it go all brown and green within minutes of it coming out?

I arose out of the £300 second-hand recliner in response to the need for the utilisation of the Porcelain Throne. A lot better session this morning.

Got the Health Checks done and medications taken.

The computer on and yesterday’s dairy updated and finished off.

Started this one going.

Then did WordPress Reading and comment replies. A chap from New Mexico mentioned oil filled radiators to use as an alternative to the electric fire when they take away the storage heaters to fit new ones – this triggered the grey-matter, and I got out the one I bought from Amazon last year and had forgotten out. Sad!

Had a peep on Facebook. Oh, dear, it’s sticking again! Turned everything off and restarted, seems a bit quicker now.

Spent hours on Coreldraw trying to get some more TFZer Food themed graphic done.

Got the ablutions tended to and changed into warm togs ready to go out.

Sorted the bin bags and took them to the rubbish chute.

Then it dawned on me; I can’t go out today, Susie the Foot Lady, Chiropodist, podiatrist, or otorhinolaryngologist,  is calling around 1230hrs to overcharge and give me pain. Hehehe!

Got the glass jars and bottles ready for the recycling bin, took them down. A lady sat in the foyer asked if wanted to buy some raffle tickets at £2 each. I explained that I had no money with me, cause I only nipped down to put the glass in the bin. The look of dissatisfaction and displeasure with my answer brought a feeling of opprobriousness to me.

Back up and had a Porcelain Throne session. Then spent another three hours on Corel drawing, accompanied by the noise outside and the cold in the flat. I put the extra oil filled radiator. But it was still too cold for me. After Sue had been, I can get the warm jammies and dressing gown on, that’ll help a bit.

Thought about what to have today for fodder. I was very disappointed in not being able to eat all the Chinese chicken, mangetout and etc. on the plastic plate. Why I was hungry, I don’t know. I was when I was cooking it?

Foot Lady Sue arrived and did me tootsies for me.

Got nosh on.

Seasoned baked beans, Scottish bread and Frikadellens. Lemon yoghourt.

Ate it all up apart from two slices of the bread. Then crossed my fingers that the baked beans would not make Trotsky Terence annoyed and inflamed.

Watched some ‘Boon’ DVD episodes and settled down in the recliner.

I noticed some pain coming from the side of the right foot when I moved, and that the fluid was building up in the legs again.

Inchcock Today – Thursday 30th November 2017: Tenants Social Hour… well, 20 minutes.

Thursday 30th November 2017

پنجشنبه 30 نوامبر 2017  Persian

0020hrs: A night of waking and nodding-off repeatedly. In spite of the brain apparently working in an acervuline manner, I did spot that I’d used the notepad and investigated, I’d written about dreams. First time for ages. As I was perusing the scribble, Trotsky Terence summoned me to the porcelain throne, and I forgot about what I dreamt until later.

Not sure if I’d been getting up during the night, but found signs of nibbling, the light was on and the fridge door open.

Arrived at the WC and although I cannot recall visiting overnight, the last packet of ARDC capsules was on the cabinet top on the floor, with just two tablets left. The Leningrad book was in a different place than I usually keep it, and confusion reigned in the brain, as I tended to Trotskies demands. A little less watery than the fifteen visits yesterday. (You’ve got to laugh, or you’d cry, Hehehe!)

Washed up and into the kitchen, shut the fridge and freezer doors I’d left ajar, got the kettle on and took a photograph of the room from the same place, one with the flash on auto the other one with the option turned off.

I bet I’ll have to throw away some fodder again from the freezer? Huh! I’ll see if I can get another order delivered tomorrow from Morrisons, I hope so, cause I can order the anti-Diahorrea capsules at the same time.

I had the Lumix camera charging, so used the old Sony, and put that in charge afterwards.

Made a cuppa and on the computer to see if Morrisons can deliver tomorrow morning. No chance, but didn’t think they could. Never mind, if Trotsky lets me, (and it’s looking better this morning; only three visits in two-and-a-half hours) I can go down into Sherwood and get some capsules from the Wilko shop.

Finished the Wednesday Inchcock Today and made a start on this one.

Then realised I’d not done the Health Checks, so got them actioned. Doing this, I dropped some tablets. I bent down (A risky action with Trotsky Terence lurking awaiting an opportunity to catch me out with a Whoopsiedangleplop motion!), to retrieve them, and there I stayed down there for ages, unable to get back up on my tootsies. Tsk!

Hopes of keeping off the 15 stone mark are dwindling. Having to clean and cut the fingernails, blow my nose, strip-off, remove the hearing aids, the glasses, pick the teeth, remove any ear-wax and make sure I’ve just paid a visit to the Throne before I dare to step on the scales nowadays. The readings for today were better I think. Glad to see the pulse has gone up a bit.

Made another cuppa (I’m still drinking a lot) and back to the computer. Spotting the notepad, I looked at the dream scribble about the dreams. It appears that I was back driving a bus, a 1960 model Bristol Lodekka, just like the one shown here on what was then Granby Street but changed to Maid Marion Way later, in Nottingham. I was in the cab with a bloke and telling him how much harder it was to drive the older buses and he kept hitting me? Silly really, cause there was never room for two in the cab.

Another dream, about the Carter’s Pop Factory I worked at years ago. Vague this one, but I think I was being chased all over the factories by Nannys with prams (If I read the note correctly?)

. I got a cycle puncture repair kit out of the raincoat I was wearing and started stitching and patching myself up. Got off the table, left some nibbles and hobbled through the fighting, arguing, scratching, head-butting medical staff, and out to the car park, where I got into my old Skoda Estelle.

Had a wee-wee, made another mug of tasty tea and carried on updating this page to here.

I got onto WordPress Reader then. Lots of good stuff on today.

Facebooking next. Then onto CorelDraw graphicationalisationing.

0750hrs: Got the ablutioning done. Dressed and ready for the Morrison order to arrive. Which it did at 0915hrs. The orange chocolates Jenny wanted getting in, came, and I also ordered a Rum flavour one for her to try. Jenny was getting some to hand out. Put these in one bag, and the bread and truffles for the Obergefrieteress Julie and Obergruppenfurheress Deana in another carrier. Got the rest of it stored away in the fridge, freezer and cupboards. I purchased some fresh potato rostis that I intend to have tonight. Along with some freshly trimmed mangetout, Scottish buttered bread, Piccolo tomatoes, a pickled egg and some Chinese chicken breasts.

I don’t think this should give Diahorrea Donald any bother? I wrote these ingredients down so as not to forget. Sad innit?

As I checked everything to make sure I’d not left anything on that I shouldn’t, the temperature in the kitchen was only 44° f. I collated and tool the bin bags to the chute, then another check around the apartment, and off I set.

One of the workmen told me it was freezing when he started. Not a happy lad at all. As I walked to the temporary shed, I could see that Willmott Dixon had scattered rock-salt around liberally. The sun was glaring but had little warmth in it.

Got in the hut, and gave Jenny the things. Went into the Warden’s office and handed them their Polish bread and nibbles. I departed on the walk into Sherwood to get some of the Loperamide Hydrochloride capsules to counter the Trotskys.

BJ gave me a pap on his horn as he passed going up the hill.

I called in the Co-op first and got a TV magazine and a packet of two small part-baked courgettes… no, that’s not right is it, (I had to look at the label then, the brain had frozen again. Tsk! Poor old clot). Baguettes, I meant to type.

Then hobbled up the Mansfield Road hill and into the Wilko store.

First thing I made sure that I got, was three boxes of their own label ‘Dia-Limit’ capsules, six in each box for only 85p each carton. I’m pretty sure that when Trotsky visited a couple of weeks ago, I tried these capsules and they were moderately efficient then.

While in there, I topped up with the fabric spray, fabric conditioner and fragrance boost. All the Wilko own generic label stuff with Exotic Ylang & Freesia scented.

This is such a scent. Sweetish and tangy at the same time.

They had some of the Citrus mini-cans of deodorant in too, so I got a couple.

I also bought another pot of Ginko Biloba extract tablets. I just wish I could remember who recommended them to me and why they did?

I paid the pleasant lady the £9.30 as requested and withdrew onto Mansfield Road and two vehicles had had a Whoopsiedangleplop between them. This was when it dawned on me that I had left the camera and mobile back in the flat again, Tsk!

Hobbled up to the bus stop to find the time on the display unit and I had a twenty-five-minute wait for the next L9 bus. So, I got the crossword book out and satiated my enigmatology. No that I did very well. Hehe!

The bus arrived very early, and I nearly missed it, but one of other tenants, a new import to the place, also caught out by the unexpected arrival, but she managed to flag it down for us.

I alighted the vehicle and went into the Social Hour meeting again. Took a ‘Dia-Limit’ capsules with a drink of water. A pleasant chat with Jenny then handed the nibble-box around. By gum, they were hungry today. Haha! I didn’t stay long. Managed a little natter with BJ and Bill (William on Sundays), before having to make my way back and up to the Porcelain Throne. Got there on time and this time, it was not as bad. So, maybe things will improve… Me and my forlorn hopes, Hehe!

It was an icy feeling in the flat again. “Blow the expense I thought, and put on the electric fire. I’d only used it once before in the three years… or is three yet? I’ve been here. I didn’t realise that the backlight had to be on for it to throw any heat out. Still, I know now. Not that it’s gotten a lot warmer in the two hours it’s been on. Tsk!

I put away the bits I’d bought and put one more of the ‘Dia-Limit’ capsules in the evening pot of medications and took them. Did the Health-Checks and off to the Porcelain Throne again.

Got on with updating this tosh. Still got the fingerless gloves on form going out, that’s how cold it is.

Went for a wee-wee and to make another brew.

Took this close up of the balcony while hanging out of the kitchen window. No wonder the poor devils were making such horrendous noises. It looks like they are using the 1964 built concrete base and adding some plates to it for attaching something?

Got the oven warming and had a go on Facebook.

Getting on with the Food Themed graphic series for the TFZers, now.

Still, a long way to go, but I enjoy doing them, and love it when I can make anyone smile and or laugh.

Going to get the nosh sorted now. Afraid I didn’t eat much of it; a bit of a disaster! The mangetout was bitter, the chicken too sweet. Had to dish a lot of it.

Washing the pots afterwards, and I found out that the Wilko Apple Slicers stay sharp for a long time.

Hehehe!

The sun was shining as it grew a little dark, and the snow fell.

Only a few small flakes, and as they flew past I took this picture as the wind just dropped, as did the temperature.

The snow melted within seconds. Did the Health Checks and took the medications.

My energy faded as soon as I got into the £300 second-hand recliner to watch some TV, the last episode of Pie in the Sky. I missed a lot of it with nod-offs being rampant.

Sleep came begrudgingly notwithstanding my tiredness.

Inchcock Today -Wednesday 29th November 2017: The Trotskies Terrible Return! Humph!

Wednesday 29th November 2017

Russian: Среда, 29 ноября 2017 года

0055hrs: I stirred and sensed the innards rumbling as I lay spreadeagled on the £300 second-hand recliner. Within seconds of my waiting for the brain to activate – there came a most embarrassing Whoopsiedangleplop! No warning arrived for me to respond to, apart from the churning stomach; a messy, frustrating escapage from the rear-end. Shame, Humiliation, mortification, chagrin, ignominy and indignity!

The following paragraph contains details of my Whoopsiedangleplop – please pass by it if you prefer to avoid the lurid details. Thank you.

Already too late, I struggled out of the recliner painfully and made my way to the Porcelain Throne. It really shook me up, when I bent down to remove the clothes, more spurted out – liquified. I’m sorry, but this is how it was. But I shan’t go into any more detail, other than to say the bottom half of the jammies were cut off and thrown away along with the socks and slippers. Much cleaning and freshening-up followed.

I dare not risk doing the cleaning today, after the escapage when I bent down. And I shall not go out anywhere either, far too risky. The dégringolade in my health from last night was worrying a bit.

Took an ADRC capsule with the morning medications, and did the Health Checks. The worrying thing is I cannot find any more tablets as I thought I had in stock. Only three more left now.

The HC readings were a little changed from recent morning ones, but with this instantaneous visit from Trotsky Terence, I think this is to be expected?

Then, as I was making a mug of tea, Splurp! Back to the Throne. Not much and runny in the extreme. Another clean up of me and the wet room required. As I leant down to clean the outer part of the bowl, another involuntary leakage! More cleaning followed.

Last night’s fodder?

Got on the computer and finished off the Tuesday Dairy and posted it. Then started on this one. Not for long though, back to the Porcelain Throne. Where is it all coming from? Was it what I ate last night?

I checked the use-by dates on the cobs (20th Jan), franks (16th Dec), lemon fool (2nd Dec) and Lemon yoghourt (14th Dec). All of them had a long sell-by-date. Confused Mode Adopted!

Back again to the Throne. More wind but less content this time, no need for cleaning up the bowl, just me. Hehe!

Made a start on this blog.

Porcelain Throne visit. Oh, ‘eck! Still, a little less messy this time.

I foolishly sent an email to Jenny, asking if she could let them know my interest in going to the Heater Control Tuition classes. Then realised it was only about 0500hrs! I do feel a fool and sorry about that!

Took this picture out of the kitchen window. Despite all my ailments, I could see something beautifulness in it.

Started doing Food and Drink related graphics for each of the TFZers. I might get the graphics done by tonight.

A terrible thirst on me today. I wonder if it is connected to the Trotskies? Still, no chance of me running out of tea bags with the load I brought in while they were on Special Offer. Hehe!

1000hrs: Pressed on with the TFZer Food Themed graphics, Slow hard work it is… but being as I can’t do any jobs or go out thanks to Haemmorhoid Harold and Trotsky Terence, I’ll carry on until I’m too tired.

Off to the Porcelain Throne.

Jenny sent an email saying she would ask about the heater training for me to try and book me in. Bless her.

1300hrs: The workers have now moved down dead level with my flat. The noise is too much to concentrate on the graphicalisationing. Going to get the nosh done early.

Back in a bit.

Didn’t eat it all, and kept the fingers crossed that Trotsky Terence would not disagree with my choice of fodder.

Fell asleep for half an hour after eating. Then off to the Throne once more.

The damned Fire Alert Alarm Strobe and Pillow Shaker activated waking me up. I had no choice but to go through the checks, which meant: Getting up out of the recliner. Looking out of the window to see if any emergency vehicles were outside, tested the door handle with the back of my hand to see if it was hot, it wasn’t, in fact, it was icy cold. Opened the door to listen-out for any alarms, but heard none.

I did the Health Checks and took the medications.

Visited the Porcelain Throne. I’ve got three-quarters of the way through the Lenigrad book, oddly thanks to the Trotskys. Hehe!

I placed the notepad next to the chair and settled once more, and watched some of a Jonathan Creek DVD, and had to extract my lumbering body from the recliner and off to the Throne.

I found this photograph the following morning. I’m a little confused as to why and when I took it.

I had barely settled down again in the chair, and I think I nodded off straight away.

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 28th November 2017

Tuesday 28th November 2017

Sesotho: Labobeli la 28 November 2017

1150hrs: Awoke, the body not up to any pandiculating. Once again the body was not suffering in a poorly way, just still tired, weary and aching in places.

The mind, was very polyphiloprogenitive, I was momentarily concerned as it seemed to be doing its own thing, going where it wanted, as if feverishly searching for something but not letting me know what it was? When it found it, I was informed of, in what was almost a command; “Get the laundry done!” Then the central nervous system enclosed in the cranium of my head, the convoluted mass of grey and white matter returned to its usual state of only just coping with controlling and coordinating my mental actions (Poorly), rested.

I robotically removed my mass from the £300 second-hand recliner, and off into the wet room for a wee-wee. It turned into a Porcelain Throne Session, but an almost perfect one this time. No bleeding bled at all.

Then I gathered the washing things together in the big bag. Got some togs on and made my way down to the laundry room. Only one of the lifts working, the other had a blank blue screen above. Arthur Itis and Duodenal Donald both being kind to me, Anne Gyna just a bit of bother, hardly worth mentioning though, yes… I’ll take that back. Hehehe!

0030hrs: Got the machine going and back up the lift. The second elevator now lit up, but stuck on the ninth floor?

Did the Health Checks and took the medications.

Mug of tea.

0100hrs: Down to move the clothes into the dryer. Both lifts operational now? Someone had not cleaned out the filter, and there were new to me stains in the sink, that I could not get off.

0120hrs: Up and got the diaries updating done.

The time flew by, it was soon 0200hrs, and I was down once more to the laundry room. Number one lift now stuck on the 9th floor again? There are no quotidian moments here, are there. Haha!

Got the washing out, folded and into the bag.

Tried again to clean the sink marks off, without any success. Cleared the filters, wiped the drums and casings.

The number one cage was out of action this time, no lights at all?

Is someone playing about? Are Aliens to blame? Is Elvis still alive? Am I going bonkers? These lifts remind me of two things; Heath Robinson and a Carry-On-film. Hehe!

It was a lot warmer this morning.

Made another brew and got a header done for the upcoming funny ode about my Mini-Ottoman, blog.

0430hrs: Went on to WordPress Reader. Then checks the comments received.

Facebooked next.

Then onto CorelDraw and graphicalisationing prep work.

Got two fun ones finished.

Must get off to the ablutioning session now. Got all cleaned and fresh, dressed.

Did the Health Checks and medication.

Took the sorted black bags to the rubbish chute on the way out, and down the lift and out into the not precisely hot sunshine. Popped in the Obergruppenfurheress Deana hut. Out to the bus stop to join the ganglet of Senior Citizens there amassed. Then realised I had not taken the mobile phone or camera with me, and it was too late for me to return to get them. Fool!

I decided not to go to Arnold after all. Because sorting out the time without the phone could well mean I miss the bus back. So I just caught the City Bus up to Mapperley Top and hobbled to the Aldi Store.

I poddled around and ended up buying 2 pots of lemon yoghourt. Not cheap and very small, but they looked delicious with the lemon settled at the bottom of the glass pots. Some Part-Baked Rolls. The very naughty Frikadellens, and two tins of garden peas. I only spent £4.18. Good for me, that I think.

Had a wee-wee and made a mug of tea.

I then hung out of the window to take a picture of the balcony as was.

I got the computer on and updated this load of absolute tosh.

On CorelDraw to start the idea I had for a Bexit Funny. Had a job setting it up over the next two hours. Got it done. Don’t want to let on what it is yet until I publish the diary that I’m putting it on.

The weariness dawned, so I closed everything down and made the nosh; not that it needed much making. Balsamic vinegared tomatoes and franks.

Did some of the part-cooked brown mini-cobs Ten minutes in the oven) and had a pot of lemon fool and one of the tremendously tasty jars of Lemon Farmhouse Yoghourt, along with the evening medications. Taking the things to put in soak and mail arrived.

The DVT, INR Warfarin Level Results and new doses. No Email from the doctor surgery again. So, no chance of getting to the dentist.

Also, yet another note from Willmott Dixon builders. This time about training for how to operate the new heaters. Wednesday 6th December there will be three training sessions for groups of us old fogies, we have to book a seat with their Unterscharführeresses, Herrens Cath or Lynne by ringing them on their mobiles.

Rang Sister Jane, who rang back a few minutes later. Passed on the messages from cyber-friends for her, over the loss of Fooey.

Washed the pots and got my head down to watch some Jonathan Creek DVD episodes.

Soon off into the land of Nod.

Inchcock Today – Monday 27th November 2017

Monday 27th November 2017

Azerbaijani: Bazar ertəsi 27 Noyabr 2017

Sunday 2330hrs: Woke-up feeling all out-of-sorts, off-kilter. The brain thoughts and the body not precisely in harmony. The first semi-clear idea was about the INR Warfarin blood test, and I have to ring the surgery at 0800hrs when they open, to find out if I have an appointment and if so, what time was it arranged? If not, I’ll go to the City Hospital for it.

No bleeding from the gums, the boil on the nose seems to have gone (Very odd that!), and Duodenal Donald, as well as Anne Gyna, were in a calm mood with me. Just the grey-cells box to worry about at this moment. Hehe!

I did feel strange. Out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off for a wee-wee. Made a brew, took the medications, then did the Health Checks. Listed the details, in case I do get an appointment at the surgery, and hopefully with Nurse Nichole.

Computer booted up. Much wind was emanating from the rear quarters.

Finished off the Sunday Diary. The refresh connection link button with Facebook, on WordPress, was not working? Tsk!

Quick bash on Facebook.

TFZer Suzieanne in Scotland has her birthday today and is not feeling so good.

Made and sent this off to her Facebook page.

She’s been very poorly. I pray she will improve soon. Bless Her! ♥

Did some page headers on CorelDraw too.

A Porcelain Throne visit, messy again. Much cleansing required afterwards.

Made another brew of tea and made a start on this diary.

WordPress Reader next.

0425hrs: Checked Emails and started off another graphicalisationing session.

0640hrs: Off to do the ablutionisationing.

0815hrs: Rang the GP surgery, guess what? They had not made me an appointment again! I’m pissed off now. Got to rush out to get to the City Hospital and it’s raining! Gumph and Spit!

Back in a bit… well, we’ll see, Haha!

I’ve made it!

Here is the route that was taken. A nice steady hobble and rain only caught me a bit. The further I limped along, the better the spirits were. Just about an hour-and-a-half en route, but I spent another two-hours waiting in the queue. Hehe!

Did the teggies (Carefully), Shaved with only three cuts, stand-up wash and scrub-up. MEdications applied where needed. Got the bags and brolly ready. Wrapped myself up well  (I could hear the winds when I put the hearing aids in). Sorted and took the rubbish bags and took them to the chute. Set out and went back in the flat again when I got as far as the lift. To check I’d not left anything on, likes lights, stove, faucets etc.

Out again and down the road to Obergefreiteress Julie and Obergruppenfurheress Deana’s hut. Where I was lucky enough to find them both in situ. We had a laugh and chinwag, and I got some orange recycling bags given me. I gave them the two dribble-easy cups and explained about the leak when drinking, adding that were the best mugs I’d ever known for keeping the tea warmer for longer. Gave them some nibbles, cause they are a good pair of Wardens and I like them a lot.

Farewells tended, and off back up Chestnut Way and the hill into Woodthorpe Grange Park. I’m not an algophilist, I took this way, so I could have a look at the beloved Tree Copse as I passed it by.

It was so pleasant going down the path to Mansfield Road. Strangers who were being walked by their dogs returned my greetings; every dog was friendly, life was good.

Then the animal of a Nottingham Pavement Cyclist came belting down the hill and slalomed between the people and woof-woofs! None of us was happy about this. But, it gave us something to spend a couple of minutes chattering.

Onto Mansfield Road and over onto and down Devon Drive.

I thought I might get an under-the-umbrella shot or two in, but the rain held off.

Crossed road and hobbled contentedly down onto the Ring Road. I think I was singing to myself at one stage?

I felt a bit of a Schmoe for not understanding why I felt in such good, congenial spirits now when I was almost depressed earlier on? Perhaps it’s talking to people after the bitterly lonely weekend? Although, the thought of missing Nurse Nichole still wrangled away at me inside. Especially, as it wasn’t my fault, but the surgery staff, again!

Towards the bottom of the hill, I took this photograph, thinking it might come out as a ‘Moody Photo’, but it didn’t really.

Down to the traffic island and left over the Pelican Lights. Two cars shot through the lights when they were on red against them. Swines!

My EQ told me my attitude and contentment was about to change?

A bird I have never seen before landed on the rusty railings as alongside the park. I got the camera out as fast as I could, but it had gone off by the time I was ready. The creature was about the size of a sparrow or robin, and was black or dark grey with a thin white collar and some white specks on its tail feathers?

As I turned right onto Hucknall Road, I took a shot of the Day Brook that runs alongside the hospital. At least I couldn’t see any new rubbish dumped in it from the other week.

The rain started coming a bit stronger, so I walked a little faster, maybe not more quickly, but less slowly (Hehe), the rest of the way to the Haematology Department.

The entrance was blocked off. No signs of why or how to get to it by another route either. Yes, my EQ was getting more confident that things were going to get worse, today!

I managed to find a way around and into the Blood Clinic eventually. And boy, was it busy! When I got my ticket from the machine and turned around, there was just one seat free. So I hobbled over and got me bum in it quickly. Alright then, quickishly! Haha!

I knew it would be a good while before my turn came up, so I got the crossword book out and spent an hour or more failing to do very well with them at all.

When there were only ten tickets to go to mine being called, I put away the book, so I didn’t miss it coming up on the screen. My number got called in after a wait of about two hours. I was summoned to Cubicle Three. A bloke was being trained up, and he asked if he could take the blood, I said yes. All went well, I gave them a bag of nibbles that I had put in the bag last night for the GP surgery staff, and felt a little pleasure in the GP staff not getting it after letting me down again.

Thanked them and went out via the temporary route through two other departments, without getting lost.

To the bus stop on site. Found I had missed the 40 bus that goes close to the flats, so wandered down onto Hucknall Road and caught a City bound bus.

Went to the Victoria Shopping Centre (Mall) and poddled to the Tesco store to see if they had any chocolate nougat in, but they hadn’t.

However, they did have some Fresh Cream Jam Doughnuts on offer, £1.09 down to 70p. Also, they had some Sokolow Polish Cooked Pork Knuckle.

I paid the poor miserable looking girl at the checkout and tried to cheer her up with a laugh or two, at least she smiled.

Leaving the Mall, I realised that two security guards were showing interest in me, and following me? Nothing happened other than they gave me dirty looks as I exited the doors and looked back at them?

My EQ was warning me again, I think.

I limped along Upper Parliament Street to the bus stop on Queen Street.

Where a tenant lady from the flats, was with her little Granddaughter.

We had a natter about the buses mostly, and I gave the little one some chocolate coins. Only the two of us got on, but by the time three bus stops had been by, the bus was loaded almost to capacity.

In the forty-minute ride, I started and finished a crossword! I was well chuffed for myself. And it was the first time I’d ever done a puzzle in one go in this book. Swanking mode adopted, Hehe!

The lady and girl joined me on the walk to the apartments from the bus stop. When we got into the lifts, there were about ten others had joined us, by the time one had arrived on the ground floor!

Six of us piled into the cage, and some of them who had already got their heaters fitted were moaning about them not working right! Oh dear!

I got in the mini-dwelling and had a much-needed wee-wee.

Put the cakes and pork in the fridge.

Got the kettle on as the rain started to pour outside. I’d usually have got my head down by now, but needs must, so I did the Health Checks and took the medications. Then started to update this diary.

Sister Jane rang me. Bad news, but it had to be done. Poor old Fooey had been put to sleep. As Jane said: He was the one, of all the cats, that needed more care and work than all the others, but he was the most loving one. Jane said she might ring back.

I don’t mind admitting it, I shed a few tears, for Jane and Fooey.

I pressed on with the updating. At least, I hope, this was what the EQ was warning me about. So once again, the day started with me upbeat, and downcast at the end.

By the time I got to here with this chronical, life was no longer so bright.

I went on WordPress reading to try and cheer myself up.

Had a bash on Facebooking.

A couple or three hours later than usual, I got a cold meal of smoked mackerel, sliced tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, Stilton cheese and three slices of Scottish Plain Bread.

Went to check that I’d locked the outer door, to find a new leaflet had been delivered. That’s one thing we don’t go short of in these flats, pamphlets and unsolicited mail!

I could not believe this message. Anyone can see that the workers are likely to be using petrol powered tools and oxyacetylene burners etc. on the platforms. If they find out who is doing this, steps should be taken to make it obvious to all of us that this is unacceptable behaviour.

Tsk!
