0335hrs: Stirred to find the magically appearing empty biscuit wrapper on the sticking out stomach. Tsk! Back to the none-memory of the dreams again, just a real knowledge that I’d had them?
Took the medications and did the health
No demands for the use of the Porcelain Throne at all, yet?
Started sorting out and tweaking the photos from yesterday for that diary. Began updating it and oh dear… Whenever I tried to save, update, preview, or close WordPress, I got the message: “Server Maintenance Your server is going through a few minutes of routine maintenance. Please don’t touch your browser for a few moments. What do I do? If you were posting a comment or making a post on your blog, then do not press BACK on your browser. Wait 5 minutes and press the refresh icon on your browser. Your comment or post will be sent as normal. If you are browsing a blog here just wait a few moments and hit refresh. The page you were expecting will appear.” I waited for five minutes and tried again, but it would not have it, the same message.
After nearly two hours of failure to solve this, I decided to get in touch with the WordPress help, took a while to find how to get into it again. Sent them a message telling them of the problem… then realised that I had posted the message to Grammarly in mistake for WordPress! I did feel a right fool! Sent another message explaining my error and apologising most proficiently I could muster.
Then, got onto Grammarly message help, and they said they’d look into it. Of course, it came back on and worked as I was waiting for them. Grumph! Today is not going to be a good one, I thought!
Since which, I have received four emails from each of them asking for more detail. Oh, five now from Grammarly, four from WordPress.
I thanked him and set about getting the foodstuff away.
Still no call to the Porcelain Throne?
The garden peas looked healthy for such a long time into the season.
I prepared the pod peas, cut up or diced the leeks, swedes, carrots, red onions, parsnips,
Put it on a low heat setting. Must remember to keep giving it a stir now and then.
I’d put the CCTV of the foyer entrance on the TV earlier to see the Morrison man arrive and I left it on. Our beloved caretaker was spotted without his mobile phone in his hand! I took this snap of the screen, as proof for any tenants who might not believe this. Hehehe! Looks like he’s enjoying himself, doesn’t it?
I pressed on with the diary and got it finished eventually. Some six and a half hours after I’d starting to update it! Then as
No hassle much this time. Little Inchy and Haemorrhoid Harold both bloodless! Hurrah! Only Arthur Itis any cause for concern, when I had to stand up, he did not like that! Haha!
Came across this photograph of the new buses bought by Nottingham City Council.
Checked the Emails and nothing from the Clinic or the surgery arrived.
The rain still falling outside. Took the midday medications etc.
Checked the vegetables in the crock-pot then got the beef in the oven.
The usual afternoon energy dip arrived.
It looked perfect, but only tasted average, which is not too bad, compared to the recent disasters.
Gobbled it up and washed the pots, but missed a dish off – so left it in the sink to soak.
A right treat on the TV today, four episodes of Law & Order, two on one channel, then two more on another one. The first two I stayed awake through, the third one I’d seen before and nodded-off in quick time.
Woke a couple of hours later and went into the kitchen to clean the dish – one helluva toe stump coming back into the front room. I’ve said it before, that Ottoman will have to go, or get replaced with something kinder and more sympathetic to toes! Hehe!
Did the checks and medications and got the head down to watch the Dog Rescuers on the goggle-box. Got through it all and enjoyed it, then drifted off into the land of nod! Ah, nice!
TTFN all.
It’s been pretty dry hear the last few days. Had lots of gunfire around the office lsat night — they are filming a movie. They also had old ’60’s Renaults, Peugeots and fiats lined for some kind of action. One of our staff members car was stolen from the parking lot — a 14 year old Subaru. You cought lots of action on the security cameras. That’s a full refrigerator. New biomethane buses? Sounds gassy. Albuquerque is buying all electric buses for the stupid ART project. At least the meal was editable.
Good job you knew about the filming, Tim, with all that gunfire around.
It would have been nice to view the old 60’d cars.
Sorry for your staff member having his car stolen. The Subaru connections got me thinking back, Sir. I had a little Subaru Justy 4×4 donkey’s years ago. I loved it. But a new passion forced me to swap it for a bigger Vauxhall Royale to enable easier… er, erm… movement within it. Then the naughty girl left me. Left me! After I got rid of my beloved Subaru to accommodate her! Humph! Hehe!
That CCTV is good for when expecting a delivery to arrive.
Fancy you using the word gassy about the veggies – I have had Flatulent Frank pestering me all morning. Hehehe!
New biomethane buses. Read this about them, Tim: emissions are 84% lower than their diesel counterparts, thereby making them – from ‘well to wheel’ – the greenest buses on the road.”Biogas is produced naturally through anaerobic digestion, using food waste, farm waste and sewage. The methane emitted from the digestion process is captured, treated and turned into fuel. So I looked up Anaerobic: “Living, active, occurring or existing in the absence of free oxygen”? They have many electric buses that usually run on the local routes, too, like out L9 bus. Which, being so quiet, is easy to fall asleep on. Haha!
Love the editable meal mention, Sir. Cheered me up that! At last a decent meal.
TTFN, take care.
When I was racing bicycles, I would go anaerobic quite often. I know about the farm to flatulence effect of vegetables all too well. Let em rip!
Flatulent Frank is having a hey-day today as well, Tim. Hehehe!
I cycled for about twelve years, but only to work and back a long time ago, that.
TTFN Sir.
Ouch, your poor toe. I see the meal did look lovely, at least it wasn’t bad tasting <3
Thanks, gal.
Your right, at last, I made a meal that was not a disaster. Hehehe!
Sue the foot lady is due on the 23rd August, and very welcome she will be.
Cheers Corin, and have a super day please. XXX
