0706

0415hrs: Stirred to like (Of sorts) The fridge freezer seems to have settled for a morning chorus of ‘Clunk, Whir… bang shudder whine chatagrurgle, Hoooiii clunk shudder this morning.

Bit of a dream still lingered:

In an old dilapidated building with dust and sunshine coming through the broken windows… chasing someone through the corridors that turned into passageways on a boat?  Someone then chasing me… that’s all I can recall?

WC’d, only a bit of bleeding from ‘Little Inchy’. Still felt well tired but in good spirits this morning.

0707Laptop on to finish and post yesterdays diary – made a cuppa and took me medications.

When I got up to make another cuppa when the first went cold, I glanced out of the window to see a bloke who was walking his three little dogs on the green opposite the flats, and all three were taking a dump at the same time! Original photograph time I thought… but by the time I’d got me card out of the laptop and put it in the camera they had all finished their ablutions. Hehehe!

Incidentally, me fingers are a lot less bothered with Arthur Itis this morning?

I wondered if the Magnesium tablet I took last night wiv me evening medications might have helped? The cramps that I took them for in the first place started to come on a bit last night, but nowhere near as bad as they have been, surely one tablet can’t have been that effective? I’m puzzled.

I put the batteries for the camera on charge, charged the mobile phone, then got yet another ‘Wrong Call’ on the land-line. It sounded like the regular chappy who calls every night and  can’t understand what he’s saying but he persists – I might have to get rid of the land-line if this continues. He’s calling ever night between 1700 to 19oohrs and now starting it at 0600hrs? Foreign accent, muffled voice, just can’t make out what he’s saying?

I put the Betamethasone Corticosteroid cream in the bathroom in case needed again.

Facebooked and graphicalisationed for a few hours.

Got the overfull washing bag, capsules and freshener ready, camera in bag and went down to see if I could have any luck with getting a washing machine free to use – I couldn’t. Both in use, and one indicating 35 minutes left the other 33 min’s – seems someone has used two machines – greedy little monkeys.

Back up to the flat and updated this diary while waiting to go down again and hope someone else doesn’t beat me to it again, and get me laundry done. If I can I’ll take me camera with me so when the drier is on I can have a poddle up to the park, find a bench and sit hoping to catch a photo of some wild life in the woods.

Made a cuppa and did a bit on Coreldraw x7.

Popped down to the laundry room and a machine was free.

while the wash was a-washing I did me crossword book a bit, and managed to a few answers done from te previously started one – not a lot, but some.

Got the drier going, but had to use the one that was very low to the ground.

Whoever had used it before did not clean the filter out.

DSCF0225This gets to me somewhat yer know, I’ve never yet… no I did once, but only once find the drier had been had its filter cleaned by someone after using it’.

Blimey, they even supply us with toothbrushes and knives to do the job – and still the moronic idle scum-bags don’t do it! Still it don’t bother me in the slightest bit really. FibMode

Off on a walk up the hill into Woodthorpe Park, too many humans playing music, kids screaming, footballers etc for any chance of a decent photo of any 0705wildlife. Huh!

As I was crossing the grass, I came across a bumble bee (I think it was) that was crawling through the grass, seemingly pressing its body against the blades?

I wondered what it was up to, even when I bent down close to take the photographs he wasn’t put off his path or intentions?

I went up and around the Mansion at the top of the hill and back down the other side.

I veered left into the woods and through a 0706thicket (If that’s the right word?) of trees and was so impressed I wandered further in and around it then took a photo of it as I was about to come out of it.

As I thought how much I loved all those different shades of green, and the trees fighting each other for the sunlight, it dawned on me – I was lost! “Whoopsiedangleplop Mark 1 for the day”

I could see the tops of the flats and eventually found a way through back to them.

I hope no one saw me laughing at missen as I appeared out of the wood into the grassed area.

0707I took a photo of the flats as I emerged into the open – from the other side to those I have taken before.

Woodthorpe Court on the right, Winchester Court on the left.

The right one is where I now dwell, but on the other side of the building.

Then:  “Whoopsiedangleplop Mark 2 for the day”, as I was steadying myself to take a good stable photo, I stepped forward a couple of paces to try and balance the shot – and trod in some dog-phoo!

Back into the bushes to clean me shoe up, then back to the flat and me laundry drying.

As I was taking out the washing “Whoopsiedangleplop Mark 3 for the day”!

Me back went when I was bending down getting the togs out – didn’t half feel a fool having two women help me up again. Double Tsk!

Back up to the flat, put me togs away and got the carrier bags ready for clearing out the cupboards tomorrow ready for the demolition men who are going to tear out me cupboards and drawers to fill in the hole in the wall – well that’s the plan anyway – but we’ll see when they get here eh?

Updated this diary and put the photo’s wot I took on it.

Pondered on what nosh to have. Bacon sarnies methinks?

DSCF0231Did some graphicalisationing again on Corel Draw and Paint x7.

Herbed chopped tomatoes and crispy bacon with bread thins fer me nosh. Rated 8.6/10

Had a great bath, soak and shave. It took me more time than having these did to medicate missen afterwards! Hehe! Put Phorpain gel on me legs hands and back.

Cuppa and took me evening medications.

Tired again now, and me back is still painful. Huh!

Fri 7 Aug 2015: Inchcock Today – So busy he’s worn himself out. Poor mite!

Friday 7th August 2015

0405hrs: Woke, WC’d and got the laptop and kettle on.

Mused over me dreams: I’d got the old place sorted and sold… I was so glad and happy to be able to concentrate on the flat and had a load of people visit me, and they all wanted vegetarian sausages to eat?

Then I was at a football match and ran on the pitch, tackled Wayne Rooney and served him with a writ for knocking off a £2000 a time prostitute and being rude and crude in public?

I was glad  the cramps again had not been too bad last night – but still intend to get some magnesium tablets today from Holland & Barrett’s.

Spent ages finishing yesterdays Diary and doing graphics.

Had a wash shave and spruced missen up. The angina was a bit rough with me, the haemorrhoids bleeding but otherwise not too bad at all.

Got me bag with Sister Jane and brother-in-law Pete’s nibbles, letters delivered for Margaret the previous tenant to hand in at the community shed, and the paperwork I needed for Steve of Age UK when I meet him later at the old dump and cash and bus-pass.

Off to the shed and handed in the letters to the Obergruppenfurher.

To the bus stop and had a nice chat with some of the other residents.

DSCF0220

Got the Magnesium Tablets at last

Dropped off the bus in town and had an amble to Holland and Barrett’s to view the Magnesium on offer. They had sprays, creams and tablets.

Being as the tablets of 100 one-a-day pills were on offer, buy two get the second for a penny… I did.

Walked to Pete’s bus-stop and met him. We had a little natter and worked out where we needed to visit.

I wanted to buy a battery operated radio for the bathroom with preselect channels and a clock to replace the one I dropped and broke – and Pete needed to go to the Asian shop for some cheesey seaweed, and Wilkinson’s for some bits.

We went around several shops looking for a radio but the cheapest we could find was £49.99, so I decided against it.

We went into Wilkinson’s Pete got his bits and I got a £3 alarm clock, same model as the one I broke.

Then we plodded to the Asian shop and i joined Pete in getting a pack of the cheesey seaweed fer missen.

Walked into the City Centre to have a look to see if any of the charity shops had a battery radio for sale – they didn’t.

DSCF0218

A Dangerous Nottingham Pavement Cyclist

The plonker on the bike across the road was one of the most dangerous gits of Nottingham Pavement Cyclists I’ve ever come across, he was on his phone as he drove along the pavement and actually hit one woman and just carried on! Tsk Nasty Ignorant Swine!

Left Pete at his bus-stop after our second failed search to find a radio had concluded.

Hobbled up to Parliament Street, buying a salad cob on the way to the bus-stop.

Got off in Carrington and nervously made me way to the old house. Where I overdid it with the lifting and sorting. Made up four large bags of stuff for the flat. Then managed to carry some furniture out to the bins for the looters to take later. Then put weed-killer on the garden weeds, and there were many there.

I was lucky enough to find a part-used tube of Betmethasone corticosteroid cream and put that in me bag to treat ‘Little Inchy with in the morning if he’s been bleeding again.

DSCF0219

Age UK’s Steve does some phoning for me

Utterly fatigued and me back was playing something rotten by the time Steve arrived at the house.

He rang BT for me to cancel me phone and Internet – found there would be a £42 charge for leaving them. And we had to ring them back on the 18th to confirm our decision?

Then he rang British Gas (You know them… the French company!) They informed us there would be a £30 fee, one months payment costs and 59p a day charge until we informed them the house had been sold???

I was losing heart by then.

Steve and I went upstairs which started me arthritis off to join Anne Gyna and me bad back. Feeling pretty weary and unwell by now. Steve brought some stuff down and then lifted me and two of the bags back to the flat, bless him.

I was so some pleased things had got done for once, but not pleased with state of health at all.

He came in with me and reclaimed his blow-up mattress that he’d lent me.

After he went I did feel a bit poorly, but forced missen to eat the cob with a cuppa. Didn’t feel hungry enough to bother making a meal – so drained.

0705

Got me next lot of medications pots sorted and done

Did this diary and then had to sort out me medication pots to make sure the old and new ones had some magnesium tablets in each pot – that took over an hour, but I was pleased I’d got it done.

Remembered to put the Betamethasone cream in the bathroom so it’d be handy for the morning if needed.

DSCF0222

Late Nosh – with slightly burnt pasty

Sudden Hunger pangs now – so made a quick nosh, instant cheesey potatoes, pasty, beetroot and tomatoes.

I may have overdone the pasty a touch?.

Way passed me bedtime now.

Must try to get some of laundry done tomorrow, it’s stacking up yer know…

And some of the paperwork to get sorted and shredded, oh, and get the cupboards emptied ready for the Nottingham Homes man to destroy the kitchen cabinets and drawers when they fill in the holes in the wall… Tsk, work work work… I’m working ‘arder now than when I actually working – Huh!

Thu 6 Aug : Inchcock Today: Busy yet again – Tsk!

Thursday 6th August 2015

0435hrs: The tones of the fridge-freezer stirred me, it had added a few more clunk-thuds to its chorus this morning – bit worrying that.

Up and at em… well, I stirred and appreciated the lack of cramps again last night, then mused on the dreams I could recall:

I was struggling to get up a beach from a canoe… it looked like I was an Australian beach – Kangaroos and koala bears all around…

Climbed over some sand dunes and found it was Los Angeles, I have no idea how I knew it was Los Angeles but I did. I caught a cab and the driver was a robot with a shiny metal head and spoke in an Eastern European voice to tell me I should not be here since the Declaration of Independence was declared, only non-humans were permitted in the City?

Can’t recall what happened next, but I ended up in the middle of a gigantic plate of chips struggling to get out, with Marissa Bergen trying to pull me out using guitar strings with hooks on the ends?

Shame I can’t recall owt else though.

Kettle on, cuppa and me medications taken then a check on me failing body parts when I had a wash and shave: Arthritis not bad in the least, Anne Gyna bothersome a bit, ulcer very fair, hardly any bother, Reflux valve closing okay at the moment, even the sin cancer wound has stopped itching – all good really, even the Little Inch had not been bleeding last night. (Should I have said that I’m thinking?).

The food delivery man rang, Asda (Walmart to me American friends) had failed to change the directions to the one’s I changed on their site. He arrived a few minutes later and I now have an overfull freezer.

Whoopsiedangleplop number one – knocked the new clock over, and I now do not own a new clock that works. Huh!

Little Inch was sore as soon as I moved the blood flowed again. Took me a while to get it to stop.

Laptop on, WC’d a few times, made a cuppa and finished off yesterdays diary.

There is only 1½ hours to go to the time the Nottingham City Homes repair man comes to replace the condemned fan heater, so no time to get any laundry done. Tsk!

Steve from Age UK rang (Yes he did, honestly – amazing!) he’ll meet me tomorrow at the old house t 1400hrs.

Got paperwork ready in bag now to take with me to meet him.

Filled in the electoral register letter I’d received and went to post it off.

Took the mail for Margaret the previous tenant, to the Community shed, and to ask anyone there if they still want the walker and tell them not to worry about making the phone calls fer me as I’d got hold of Steve from Age UK and would be meeting him on Friday.

The door was open – Yahoo!

Julia asked me if she could have the walker before I could mention it – I pointed out that it had been in me shed downstairs awaiting use for two weeks now! (That’s telling her…  she don’t scare me!) FibMode

Deana appeared and I gave them a choice of nibbles.

I realised I’d not crossed off Margaret’s name from the form I was about to post and Julia stuck some Cellotape on the envelope for me after I’d corrected me error.

When I informed them not to bother doing the telephone calls for me to the BT and Gas company to cancel their services for the old place, it became apparent they had forgot all about me request, judging my the confused and bemused expressions on their faces. Hey-ho!

Poddled to the letter box and then back to the shed, at the flat and got the Walker and took it back to the shed so they could donate it to the needy person. No thank you’s, just a ‘Yo wer quick!’ when I got back to the shed with it.

Mind you there might have been thinking about it, I didn’t have me hearing-aids in.

Rushed back to the flat in case the maintenance personage who had been booked to replace the condemned wall heat arrived… silly me thinking they’d come early.

Must remember tomorrow – meet brother-in-law Pete at 1030hrs at his bus stop in town then make sure I go to the old house for 1400hrs to meet Steve.

Made a cuppa and tidied around a bit – no point in doing a good job, the fitter will no doubt cause a decent mess – and next week I’ve got the carpenter tearing out the cupboard and drawer to block up the hole in the wall – then the week after it’ll be mayhem from their replacing the condemned window – oh the thought of it all… Tsk!

0704Doing this diary while I await the arrival of the Nottingham City Homes electrician.

Re-posted me graphic wot I dun on Facebook.

Titivated the open cupboard.

Nearly fell asleep once.

The Electrician chap from Nottingham Homes rang the buzzer and came up to replace the heater on the wall.

DSCF0212He didn’t speak much, took all his time to answer me questions and comments.

Took him around ten minutes max to change it.

He’s left me a nice spot on the wall to paint over bless him.

I can’t see any controls on the heater? DSCF0210I’ll have to ask someone later maybe they are handily placed on the top of the heater where I cannot reach them?

I got the brush and dustpan and swept up the bits of wire, plastic and the screws he’d left on the floor as a donation no doubt. Hehe!

Dinner in’t oven.

DSCF0213Chips (Fries), baked beans, tomatoes and pickled bullets… no, beetroots, smoked cooked pork with some bread thins.

I consumed this with great relish – the chips were savoury French Fries from Asda (Walmart) and pretty good they were too.

Rated this nosh at 8.4/10.

Sorted paperwork needed for tomorrow afternoon when I meet Steve at the old dump, so he can phone and cancel BT phone/internet and British Gas to cancel them.

Odd that innit, British Gas, owned by a French company? And BT biggest shareholder is Renaissance Technologies LLC a multinational company based in New York USA.

DSC00018

Took a photo from the living room window of the evenings skyline.

Tired and weary I got me head down – but not before coating me legs in Phorpain Gel first to counter the’Cramps’ when they came. Took me evening medications.

Feeling just tad less unsettled tonight, knowing that at least some progress in sorting the old place might get done tomorrow.

DSCF0088I dreamt early about Duncan Robertson (Cyber-pal), thought he was here and we were having a cuppa on the balcony and we started singing and a police helicopter hovered above us with one officer on a megaphone, but I can’t recall what he was telling us.

When I woke up for a porcelain visit after about two hours head-down, I actually looked around for Dunc – wish I could remember more.

TTFN.

Wed 5th June 2015: Inchcock Today: Morrison’s delivery, Dentist 0930hrs too early for a bus so walk there, Iceland 1300hrs, Clinic 1430hrs, Try ringing Age UK Steve (Ha!), Rubbish down chute, take extra Omeprazole, Clean up behind kitchen door, Little Inch bleeding, No magnesium to be had after long search, Dentist changes appointment, Nuisance phone-caller, Internet on a go-slow… Tsk!

Wednesday 5th June 2015

01topa

Up at 0355hrs, mind racing again: Morrison’s delivery, Dentist 0930hrs too early for a bus so walk there, Iceland 1300hrs, Clinic 1430hrs, Try ringing Age UK Steve (Ha!), Laundry, Rubbish down chute, take extra Omeprazole, Clean up behind kitchen door, Nuisance phone-caller, Prescriptions to collect, Cramps and on and on…

I realised that the ‘Cramps’ had not bothered me much at all last night, not sure if that was due to the dollop of Phorpain I’d rubbed into me legs or not. Must get some magnesium tablets while out this morning. (Soon found out that none of the three chemists I called in sold them – HUH!)

Made cuppa, laptop on and took me medications.

WC’d finding ‘Little Inchy’ had been bleeding again, yet another pair of jammy bottoms for the wash!

Legs showing signs of water retention – surprised me that as I am visiting the porcelain far more often this last few days?

IMG_0041Wash and brush-up, during which the perfectionist painter Paul’s handiwork I admired.

Wondered how to get off the paint without scratching the door?

A handy-man I ain’t, but he got paid for this crap painting!

The horrible high winds of yesterday and last night were in my favour for once – they were coming from the East and the flats on the other side to where I am coped for the worst. They seem to have dropped a lot this morning.

Did the header for today’s Diary. Posted yesterdays diary and started this one proper.

Got me things ready and set-off on me walk to the Chemists to get some Magnesium tablets, and the dentist fer me appointment.

Called in at the Community Hut on the way – but no one in again.

DSCF0205Walked up into Woodthorpe Park and down the path under the Chestnut trees to Mansfield Road.

Burke-on-a-bike nearly had me coming from behind. Git!

Turned left and over the crest of the hill and into the chemists. Where I asked them if the sold Magnesium tablets to relieve cramps – the lady said no, they are not allowed to stock cramp medications any longer. Oh?

Walked down and into the dentists, where I joined an orderly queue of other mugs all waiting to be snapped at, insulted, sneered at and overcharged.

The Obergruppenfurher Receptionist informed me there was no appointment for me today – it was for next Tuesday 11th at 1415hrs.

0707bI was admonished in Concentration camp Commander style for not realising the appointment had been changed, and reminded of the £18.80 extra charge if I fail to turn up for the next appointment???

Well I’ll be blowed!

Tail between me legs I departed.

Walked down to the Boots store and waited patiently for someone to tend to me – for a good while. Eventually a lady did come to me at the counter. I asked about Magnesium tablets for me Cramps and she went to talk to someone, then returned. They used to sell Crampex tablets, but they have had to stop stocking them. Oh dear! I should try the larger Boots in town or an independent chemist.

So off to the bus-stop with me free pensioners bus-pass and caught one into town – having first worked out if I had the time so as to get back to the flat fer me food delivery on time.

Dropped off in town and went into the big Boots store in Victoria shopping centre (Mall).

Same story from them, they do not stock them any-more – the chap said that Crampex was a specialist product and no one else makes anything like them to offer me as a substitute. That’s nice innit – all the Cramp-sufferers now have to suffer in agony then?

DSCF0206Not a good day up to now!

Another Nottingham Pavement cyclist nearly had me as I left the building to go and get a bus back to the flats. Huh!

Caught the bus back to the flats.

DSCF0207The route takes in many steep hills to and from the flats on the L9 bus.

Had a go on me crossword book to help stop me from nodding off again en-route like.

Called at the Community hut again on the way to the flat – no one in again.

Thought for a moment when I passed the laundry room and there was a washer free, I’d get me washing done… then remembered I’d got me food coming so changed me mind.

Got in WC’d, then took me bag of rubbish to the chute.

Laptop on and updated this diary. Not an easy job as the Virgin internet connection was so slow… I’d getting fed-up with today…

I tried rebooting laptop to see if it helped speed up the connection…

It didn’t.

Nipped to the Community Shed – still nobody about.

DSCF0209Made me nosh

Cheesey potatoes, 2 mini pork & pickle pies, bread thins and the last few of me seasoned curly potatoes and roast potatoes.

Followed by a small cake and iced lolly.

Rated it 8.4/10.

I got a telephone call on the landline and it was the same foreign chap who has phoned me for the last two nights – can’t really understand what he’s saying. I think he was asking me about an order for some food, but I might be wrong. I decided to turn off the ringer as it seems he is intent on hassling me for some reason. This in turn made the health-alarm box make a buzzing noise and the red light flashed – thought I had to press the flashing light button and got the emergency monitoring lady on asking if I was alright? Int life confusing?

Had a bath and shave, put some Phorpain gel on me legs and knees.

Updated this diary – remembered me medications a little late, but still.

Again fell asleep in the chair – woke-up wobbling with a dizzy, then got me head down.

Tue 4 Aug 15: Inchcock Today: Dizzies…

Tuesday 4th August 2015

0704

0405hrs: Woke, and so glad the cramps has eased – mind you, i used nearly a full tube of Phorpain gel – so I can expect to run out of that now! Tsk!

0705I’m not sure that using so much would be a good thing though. But the agony last night – Cor blimus – As the immortal Sid James said in Carry on Cleo! (One of me favourite Carry On’s this one).

01M001I’ve been using Maximum strength Phorpain and Fenbid gel for a couple of years now on the arthritis in me hands and knees mostly – but this is the first time I’ve lathered it on me poor old legs.

The active substance is Ibuprofen. Other ingredients are hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, purified water. I looked it up so I could sound clever like. Hehe!

I finished and posted yesterdays diary and since starting this diary I’ll pointed at the porcelain no less than eight times? Oh, nine now…

Did some Facebooking and WordPress reading.

Then got missen washed, scrubbed, shaved, and freshened up ready for me visit to the community shed between the two blocks of flats to take some of the never ending letters delivered for Margaret, the previous tenant to Julie and or Deana in the event that they might be on site today.

Julie was in the shed, gave her a nibble and left the letters for Deana to sort later.

IMG_0027I walked up into Woodthorpe Park and up again into Sherwood, down the hill a tad and caught a bus into the City centre, using me free pensioners bus-pass of course. (I love it!)

Got into town and had a walk in and to top top of Victoria Shopping Centre (Mall for my American friends), and to the end doors where the Pound Shop is and got a bag of bird seed for the pigeons and duck in Derby later.

IMG_0028Out through the doors and into the bus-station and caught a red Arrow bus to Derby.

Had a go at me crossword book and actually got some answers in for once to the ones I’d started earlier.

Not much traffic about en-route.

Arrived in Derby and went to the back of the bus-station first to feed the ducks and pigeons.

IMG_0029I think they must have had a cull on the pigeons since me last visit, ’cause there were not many of them about, and most of them were young ones – you can tell my their red legs and claws, they get darker with age. (Another tip from Inchy – no charge! Hehe)

IMG_0033I had a walk into the Eagle Centre… er Mall and went to the indoor market – what a sad sight!

More stalls closed than open.

I didn’t find owt interesting to buy and soon left and had a quick walk through the old market.

IMG_0035Finding some hungry pigeons en-route.

I took some ‘bling’ photo’s for the TFZ site.

That market was also run-down and sad.

IMG_0030Espied this model outside a shop as I passed near the Eagle Centre – wondered what the shop was advertising using this mannequin?

Took a closer look and they were selling ladies wigs!

Made me way to the bus station – and checked me mobile in case Steve from Age UK had called or text in response to me many calls for help to him – I’d have had more chance of Winning the lottery and should have known better than to bother checking. Tsk!

Caught the bus and was back in Nottingham within 40 minutes.

IMG_0036I checked the times and I had 45 minutes until the last bus from town, the L9 was due to leave. So I had a quick walk around the Nottingham Beach.

A decent crowd there, and even the paddling pool has some kids in it, despite the lack of sunshine, but it wasn’t cold.

Popped in Primark to see if I could get a cardigan of the roper size this time. Got one with good pockets for £14 with buttons. And an Andy Cap to replace the one I left on the bus £3 – Huh!

IMG_0038Back to the bus stop in plenty of time and had a chin-wag with a lady waiting for the same bus from the same flats.

There was a sign on the bus-shelter informing us that Nottingham was the cleanest City Centre in the Midlands. So I took this photo (I missed the dog turd on the steps off of it though) of the steps into the main Post Office near where I was waiting fer me bus.

Fell asleep on the bus, but woke up in time for me stop like.

When I got off the bus, the wind was belting away and the lady nearly went over when we turned the corner to the flats.

Back in flat, found more letters again delivered for Margaret the previous tenant.

IMG_0039Did a bit on this diary – but hunger-pangs arrived, so I got me dinner on while I did the diary – and had a dizzy spell. Mmm!

Bread thins Ham sarnies, beetroot, bacon bits, dried roast onions and potato curls – very nice!

It may well have qualified as one of the best if it were not for beetroots being as hard as cricket balls! Damned disappointing that! Still, gave it an 8/10.

Washed the pots and had a cuppa – fell asleep – and that was no easy task on me wooden chair!

Took me medications and had a wash and checked me ailments – The Inch was not bleeding but it had been, Arthritis not too bad, Haemorrhoids not bleeding either. Put some Phorpain gel on me lower legs as well as me knees and hands this time, hoping it might ease the pain if the ‘Cramps’ start again later.

The wind was now worse than ever outside.

Tomorrow me Morrisons order coming twixt 0730 > 0830hrs, the Dentist appointment at 0930hrs and the clinic at 1330hrs. I thing that’s why i took the chance to get out a bit today and take some photographs while I had the time without worrying about me timing like.

Did a bit of Facebooking and some work on a planned post for me WordPress.

Tired again.

Mon 3 Aug 2015: Inchcock Today:

Monday 3rd August 2015

0705

0202hrs: Up and at em…

Little Inch was sore as soon as I moved the blood flowed again. Took me a while to get it to stop.

Laptop on, WC’d a few times, made a cuppa and finished off yesterdays diary.

Had a dizzy while doing it. Frit me at first, a bad un – but soon cleared itself.

INR test at 1230hrs today, got to see if prescriptions are ready too, getting low now due to having to take extra Omeprazole. I’ll see if I can call at the old place and fetch what I can carry while I’m in the area at the GP surgery.

Started this diary, made a cuppa again and then did a LOMM post.

GCjanet2Did an ode and then some graphics for the TFZ site:

Pretty pleased with this one of Janet Arran and missen.

Got the LOMM stuff posted afterwards, then got missen spruced up – Little Inch medicated, and tidied up the kitchen a bit.

Not much, just a bit like.

I tried ringing Steve of Age UK again, but still no answer, only voice-message thingy, so I left yet another one – but I think I have more chance of hitting it off with Hayley Mills than getting any help from Steve nowadays.

Got me things and set off on me walk to Dr Vindla’s surgery for the nurse to do me INR Warfarin level blood tests at 1230hrs.

Set off on me walk into Carrington, along Chestnut way, down the dreaded (but only dreaded in ice or going up the hill) Winchester Street, left and plodded up Mansfield Road over the hill and to the old house, were I got a few things filled into the bags for the Nottingham Hospice Charity shop, and took out some more rubbish to the bins, only to find the next door neighbour had filled my bin with IMG_0018their rubbish – which now lays on the floor at the side of their bins!

Up to this point I had been feeling pretty fair, but the angst began again now.

Got me bags and poddled out and to the GP surgery and got there far too early – so luckily I’d got me crossword book, and failing to find any answers without cheating kept me busy for half an hour until the nice nurse called me in to have me INR Warfarin blood level test done.

Out and too the bus-stop to catch bus into Sherwood and the Nottingham Hospice donation, using me free pensioners bus-pass of course.

Dropped me bag off at the Hospice, feeling a bit tired already now?

IMG_0019Utilised me free bus-pass again and caught bus into Nottingham City centre.

At the bus-stop in Sherwood I fell in love with the gear that this chap was wearing. Very natty!

In town I caught the tram into Bulwell, it was packed with animals sitting in the disabled seats with people with walking sticks struggling keep their balance.

I struggled out of me seat to let one of the disabled ladies sit-down.

A group of three young Neanderthals who were noisily nattering between themselves as they prevented the other ladies from sitting down, gave me no choice other than to talk to them about their behaviour and occupation of the disabled seating – that did a lot of good – I really thought I was going to get a pasting as they laughed, told me to’Go away’ using other words, questioned me parentage, then mocked me with a few V-signs as they got off the tram at the next stop! After all that the animals only went three stops!

No one said anything, most of them had what looked like mobile phones with wires leading to their ear-holes and looked very intent at whatever it was they were doing?

So much for the ‘You are on CCTV’ sign on a poster next to the disabled seats. Very effective that was!

Got the dizzies after they had left and I sat down again in a seat vacated by the scum-balls. Tsk!

Such is life nowadays no one spoke about what had just happened – apart from two of the disabled ladies who thanked me for trying get them a seat and asked if I was alright.

IMG_0021Leaving Bulwell station walking onto the main road I espied some flowers fighting each other for the sunlight- to try and get some seasoned oven chips. Town.

At the end of this plot of flowers was just one yellow flower that for some reason, took away my fear and IMG_0022apprehensions of what happened on the tram for a few seconds as I looked at its beauty and took a close up photograph of it.

Can anyone tell me what kind it was please – I’d like to Post this photo on the Birds and Flowers Photography Facebook page? I would sound more knowledgeable if I could tell them the name of this beautiful flower at the same time?

Went in all the freezer shops – no that’s a lie, I forgot all about the Farmfoods shop -which is annoying because I couldn’t find any seasoned chips in any of the other shops at all? No seasoned chips anywhere? I bet Farmfoods would have had some for me to buy… Huh!

After me failed mission to get the chips I caught a bus into town – I had to go all the way to town because that is where the only bus to the flats runs from.

IMG_0020The place was busy, especially the Nottingham beach.

Pottered around a few minutes until it was close to the time for the L9 bus to arrive.

I’ve been caught out before with these L9’s departing early yer know.

IMG_0023I got back to the flats, feeling a bit under the weather suddenly.

The ulcer starting to play-up, the stomach queasy, fighting to hold back me urine, and had another dizzy-spell in the lift.

Add to these, the warm wet feeling in me pants…

Got in and sorted out the bleeding – another pair of pants goes into the bowl to get antiseptic disinfectant soaked before wringing out and adding to those already in the laundry bag. Flipping ‘eck it was only on Sunday that I did me laundry, I’ve already got four pairs of undies in there. Tsk! Good job i’ve got a good stock of em in. Hehehe! Why I’m laughing I’m not sure like…

IMG_0024Despite feeling under the weather and all the hassle I’d had – that didn’t stop me having a feast of a meal!

Roast parsnips – Bread thins – Baked beans with sultanas – Roast potatoes -Potato crush x2.

The Bannisters Potato Crush things were very tasty indeed:

IMG_0026New potatoes semi crushed with Onion, Extra Virgin olive-oil, sunflower oil, salt, parsley and back pepper – I added some vinegar after they were cooked.

They were that good I retrieved the packet from me recycling bag to show anyone who’s interested what it looks like – ’cause it’s worth trying em, they were that good tasting!

Of course I can’t remember where I got them from – Huh!

One of me best meals since being in the flat. Rated it 8.6/10.

Glad to have stopped the bleeding Inch, the stomach calming down a lot, I got me head down – then the horrendous incapacitating cramps started!

01M001 Painfully plied me legs with PhorPain gel. I think it eased it cause the agony got less within ten minutes or so.

Another frustrating day. Tsk!

Sun 2 Aug 2015: Inchcock Today: Clogged up Washing Machine

Sunday 2nd August 2015

0705

0525hrs: Woke distorted in the chair at the laptop were I fell asleep earlier this morning after me sleep cock-up last night.

The tune from the fridge-freezer had now changed to a kind of repeating ‘Clunk, shudder whine ping-bang purr thud?

Felt a tad disorientated.

Kettle on – went to put the laptop on and message – ‘Battery level critical’ came on’t screen – I’d left it on when I nodded off in the chair, a miracle I didn’t fall off of it really. Tsk! The plug had come out of the laptop.

Got it charging and Google didn’t show on screen fully – thought I’d try it in full-screen – terrible – but then I couldn’t get it back to normal… a Whoopsiedangleplop of sort there! Tried restarting and thankfully it returned. Phew!

WC and Little Inch bleeding again – it doesn’t stop doing this soon I’ll run out of blood! Also I decided against having any more of those vegetable sausages – talk about get the runs this morning! Huh!

Arthur Itis and Anne Gyna in a good mood though – up to now.

Made me cuppa and took me morning medications, then shot

the photo at the top of this page from the kitchen window with the other camera.

To early to have a bath again, or take the rubbish to the chute.

Crotch 02aSo I started this diary off and then toyed with some ideas I have for graphics on Coreldraw 7x and Coreldraw Paint.

Then did some Facebooking before cleaning up the kitchen a bit.

Had a gorgeously deep bath, and the non-slip mat worked okay – bit of an effort to get out again but still. I say bit of an effort, but that is using mild words compared to how the struggle was really. Tsk!

Laundry bag and rubbish and recycling bags at the ready, I checked for any taps left on and electrics were off, made sure I’d got me 20p pieces soap capsules and fabric softener and out to dropped off the bags down the chute on me way down to the laundry room.

When I checked the washing machine filter, it was so clogged up it took me ages to clean it up. Naughty pensioners – not cleaning it out – Huh!

IMG_0011I nipped back up to the flat while the machine doing its thing, usually it takes about an hour, and did some paper shredding that I’d sorted earlier.

Made up three of the orange recycle bags, and took them to the chute on me way back to the laundry room.

Took the camera with me.

Cleaned the filter when the washing was finished. Good little pensioner that I am, thinking of others that will use the machine after me.

Transferred the washing into the drier, another hour to wait for the drier – mind you, they are good driers. then I went out for a walk in Woodthorpe Park – busier today it was – kids, cyclists, loose dogs, footballers, golfers, families, alcoholics… the usual collection, but more of them.

IMG_0012I walked to the under road tunnel and took a photo of it from a different position having accessed it via a different route without the steep steps.

It looks so picturesque in this photo, with the unkempt layout.

But the smells from the stale water took the edge off the beauty of it.

I wandered around the perimeter and back towards the flats, hoping to find some wild-life to photograph, but too many humans about I suppose.

IMG_0013When I got back I found this photo. I can’t recall taking it?

Another self activated shot?

Down the hill passed the skateboarders and back to the laundry room.

Did some of me crossword book while waiting for the drier to finish.

Washing folded into me bag, and back up to the flat.

Put me togs away.

IMG_0014Made me nosh.

Baked potatoes, sliced cooked beef offcuts and garden peas… oh and pickled eggs – salt and caramelised onions on the tatties.

Good taste, rated this one 8.3/10.

Then fatigue caught up with me.

Head down soon nodded off – only to wake up an hour later, convinced a noise had woken me. So got up and did a search around, but found nowt untoward like.

When it came to getting back down, I realised that little Inch had been bleeding again, so got up again and cleaned missen up.

Changed pyjama bottoms, and I’d only just washed the pyjamas as well! Super Tsk!

TTFN all.

Friday 31 July 2015: Inchcock Today – Not one of me better days… Tsk!

Brekkers this morning

01topa

0425hrs: Woke and lay there accompanied by the now familiar Thud, rattle.. whir Mmmmm, grunt, clunk thud bang musical tones of the fridge-freezer belting away.

Dr Vindla to see this morning 0930hrs – so will need to walk there as me free pensioners bus pass can’t be used until 0930hrs which is the time the first bus arrives at the flats.

Got me list of worries done ready to take wiv me: check readings okay for BP etc -Sys 135 Dia 59 Pulse 71 Temp 34.02 – Itching and bruising under arms/chest – Stronger med’s for duodenal ulcer? – Bleeding Inch worse – Dizzies more frequent? – Book INR blood level test for Monday if possible, otherwise I’ll have to go to the QMC Haematology dep’t.

Cuppa brekkers and medications taken.

Laptop on and finished off yesterdays diary then started this one.

DSC00015Had a good scrub-up and set off on me walk into Carrington and the GP surgery.

I called in the cabin on the way, and Julie and Deana were in. Deana had called the carpet people and got the quote for me – £596 all-in.

Blimey I wasn’t expecting that much… Hey-ho.

Got there (To the surgery) in a new record time of 34 minutes!

Mind you me plates are stinging summat rotten now.

Dr Vindla is a bit special I reckon – has a sense of humour and tells it like it is bless her.

She had a look at where the itching was under me arms and said not to worry.

She told me to increase me Omeprazole to two a day and double me doses of the antacid medicine for a week and let her know how the Duodenal ulcer was then.

Told me to stop worrying.

Said the increase in dizzies was due to the hassle I was having.

DSCF0201She kindly took a photo or two of me skin-cancer wound scar so I could share it on the TFZ Facebook site. She even put a ruler against it. Said it had been done very neatly.

She checked me BP, Temp, and pulse recordings and said they were okay.

She did me a prescription for extra Codeine phosphates that went though to the chemist automatically and told me to collect it from there afterwards.

I was in and out in about ten minutes, and feeling a tad happier – she is lovely and unfussy!

I gave the receptionists their nibbles on the way out and set off down the road to the chemists.

DSCF0202Collected the tablets and walked through the twitchel to the old dump, feeding the pigeons en-route with Duncan Robertson’s seed wot he brought me on his welcome visit to the flat last month.

The rubbish from the bins had been spilt all over again by the ‘Bin Dippers’ of the area.

Poor things having to resort to going into bins and splitting the black bags in search of… whatever it was they were searching for.

Got in and no mail had been delivered.

Got some more paperwork that needs sorting in the bag, some DVD’s that I want to keep, cleaners and electrical stuff as well.

Took some rubbish to the bins and set off to the bus-stop with the bags and me free pensioner’s bus pass at the ready.

Into Sherwood and across the road to catch a L9 or 40 bus up the hill – and as I got to the bus-stop an L9 pulled up.

I recognised two people getting on the bus – Norman and a lady from the flats – that was nice talking to folk.

DSCF0203Got back to the flat and put the bags down so as to visit the porcelain again.

Got the kettle on and checked the emails.

Deana Walker the Nottingham City homes woman sent me an email, and I sent one back.

Asked her if she could contact the carpet people for me and ask them it next Tuesday they could fit the carpets? Awaiting a reply on that one.

Also told her the walker could be collected or I could deliver it to any needy tenant today.

IMG_0119Facebooked me noshes that I’d forgotten to.

This one might not look very good, but it tasted grand.

Then, when I was taking the bags of stuff to store in the front room it happened – and I realised then I’d forgotten to mention this medicational problem to Dr Vinda – the warm wet feeling of me little Inch pouring blood from the lesion.

With none of the creams left it took me ages to get it to stop – and then had the job of cleaning up after it. Tsk!

Cleaned up I then put some of the sliced seasoned potatoes in the oven – very disappointed with them the other day – so I sprinkled cheese on them in the hopes of getting some flavour from the them this time.

IMG_0121Had a look at a DVD, one of me favourites with Lionel Jeffries in one of his best rolls of all time in ‘H G Well’s First Men in the Moon’.

Note by the photo I then started having a visitation from Arthur Itis in me hands and fingers, typing is not easy now. so I’ve stop until it eases off later. Tsk!

Better now. Deana emailed to tell me that the carpet shop need me to visit the shop to pay them £400 and arrange fitting, and I’ve to give the Carpet fitter on the day £100 in cash! Very professional I must say.

0704So I got the walker and took it to the community shed for Deana, but no one was there – so had to take it back to the flats and set off again on me marathon walk to the carpet shop.

Walked up the hill into Woodthorpe Park and down the tree-lined path onto Mansfield Road, avoiding the mad dog not on a lead and stepping into any of the many dog droppings.

Into Daybrook where the Carpet Shop Amateurs are situated…

Took a photo of the sign outside, that I bet has lured many an unsuspecting and trusting member of the public into parting with their money for a crap IMG_0125IMG_0127service from the uninterested staff?

The chap forced himself to speak to me without swearing – I can tell these things cause I have a very high EQ – low IQ, but high EQ.

We arranged for the fitting to be done on Tuesday 11th August by a contract carpet fitter – bet that’ll be interesting, mark my words!

I asked about the bed I had ordered – they apparently come via another contractor who will be in touch with me later?

Farcical comes to mind!

I came out £475 lighter and still got no carpets or bed yet!

I’m so gullible.

IMG_0130I nipped into Arno Vale Park to try to get a photo of the wildlife to post on Facebook specialist page.

I managed a decentish one with pigeons and various ducks in it eating the seeds I threw down for em.

I walked into Arnold cause I had time easily to catch the last L9 bus from there that takes me right into the flats, and got some cooked meat and cheapo blackcurrant iced lollies from Fulton Foods.

Then nipped through the twitchel to the bus stop where the L9 passes in plenty of time – just as well, it came three minutes early – naughty!

Back to the flat in no time – me feet and knees really aching now after the walk to the GP and now this blooming marathon to the damned Carpet shop – Steve the so-called help from Age UK, who said keep him informed has not answered his phone for the last eight times I’ve called him – Git!

WC’d made a cuppa and put the carpet mans arranged visit on me Google diary. Not with a lot of confidence mind…

With burning feet and the knees now being targeted my Arthur Itis instead of me fingers, I took some extra anti-acid medicine with me usual medications, of course this means I’m going to run out of that before me next prescriptions are ready – but why worry about that when I’ve got the failed repairs to cope with and the carpet-turd to tackle with yet? Huh!

Fed-up? Me?

Managed to heat up me nosh prepared earlier – only to drop it on the floor – sad is just not a word of sufficient magnitude to use, but it’ll have to do.

IMG_0122

Sixty-seconds later, it was on the kitchen floor. Huh!

IMG_0131I stood looking out of the window, fighting back the tears of frustration and caught sight of the bills I’d put on the ledge mounting up… I let a few words of an unsavoury nature loose and all the work waiting to be done, the shredding, paperwork sorting, windows need cleaning, another load of laundry to do, no help from Steve from Age UK, carpet situation, repairs and condemned window and heater, the mess still to sort at the old place, the double bills and had no interest in having owt to eat in place of dropped and now interned in the bin nosh that I took so much pride in getting ready, the angina, reflux valve, skin cancer, dodgy ticker, haemmorhoids, arthritis, hernia, bowel cancer, duodenal ulcer, hearing-aids playing up, dwindling bank balance, lost me reading glasses, and depression looming… and I thought, Sod-it, I’m not going to let all these things get me down! I will survive, I will get it right… I am going to cheer up and cope like other do with their problems, no more moping about and feeling sorry fer missen!

Proudly I went into the bathroom to clean me teggies…

I’d left the tap running… turned taps off, dived down with the towel to mop up quickly and e back went and little Inch started bleeding.

Wot a plonka.

I have nothing else to add.

Not one of me better days… Tsk!

Tue 28 July 2015: Inchcock Today: Carpet man calling…

Tuesday 28th July 2015

DSCF0181

00320hrs: Sprang awake, to the tune of the fridge freezer clunking and whining away. First thought, the ulcer still bothersome.

One hell of a draught coming out through the cupboards and drawers near the whole in the wall.

Started the laptop and to the WC – in a bit of a pickle with the hemorrhoids and Little Inch both bleeding. Managed to stop Little Inch eventually and a full kitchen roll later.

Cleared me bedding away and made a cuppa.

Took me medication a bit early, extra painkiller and extra gulp of the not very effective but better than nothing Peptac. I take that usually to help keep down the pressure on the sticking reflux valve. Must add this to me list of thing to tell Dr Vindla about on Friday.

CaptureThe list of things to do this week has now grown a bit now.

Started this diary off as I shivered in the draughts belting into the kitchen through the hole in the wall directly and via the cupboards drawers and up me trouser legs.

Brrr!!!

Did some Facebooking while I had the chance.

Dean Walker, Co-ordinator arrived at the door and checked me cancer scar for me – it was dry so no problems.

Said to call her when the carpet man gave me a price.

When the chap arrived he said he could not give me a price, the measurements he’s taking had to be given to the man at the shop to work it out and he’d call me back with it?

DSCF0183Emailed Deana to inform her.

Took a photo from the balcony to make sure the camera was still working after I dropped it taking out the card.

Tsk again!

Got me nosh in the oven cooking and did some graphicalisationing.

LynBeet02ajThis one I was pleased with.

Then I got the laundry ready, me crossword book, pen, mobile and the letters that had been delivered for the last tenant and got me nosh out – had to put the trays in the sink to soak.

It was a rather decent effort as noshes go, roast potatoes, beetroot, roast parsnips, two crispy battered fish portions (Morrison’s 4 for 99p value range – excellent batter!) and some wholemeal soft bread thins.

DSCF0184Bit of tomato sauce – (Tesco value, but still weren’t bad).

Poddled down to the laundry room.

Got the laundry in the machine and sat in the lobby trying to do me crosswords.

Met a few folk and had a chin-wag with some of them.

Got the washing into the drier, had to use the end one as someone had left their washing in the other one.

DSCF0185Decided to risk going out in the winds up to the Woodthorpe Park in an effort to get some photographs of the floral and or wildlife.

The first one is of some fungi of some sort or other on the hill going up to the footpath at the top.

I met a chap with an old wolf like looking dog and he was kind enough to let me pet it for a minute or so.

I wish now I’d asked him if I could have taken a photo of the dog.

Walked across the top and back down through a rough bit of the woods that was unkempt and natural looking.

DSCF0186Once again I spotted a squirrel but was too slow focussing on him/her and took a squirrel-less photo again, just like yesterday! They’re quick the squirrels around here!

Hey-ho…

Walked along the path and as I was walking down towards the flats I espied an insect, wasp like in colouring on a DSCF0187flower. I moved in with camera close and the insect was busy getting at something on the little flower and didn’t budge as I took the photo. Not a good one is it? Not good enough to send to the Flora and Animal page – shame!

Got back to the laundry room and found that the drier had not dried the clothes, cause I had not realised the last person had set it on delicate setting. So I had to go back up to the flat and get some more 20 p’s and return to dry them all over again on cotton setting. At least it gave the lady waiting a good laugh! Hehe!

Deana came into the flats and along with two other residents we had a little laugh and gossip.

I’d spent over two hours plus by the time the togs were dried.

Up to the flat and WC visit, put togs away, made cuppa and took me medications.

Found a missed call on me mobile so rang it back, but no answer.

Did me Morrison order – coming in the morning twixt 07 00 > 0800 hrs.

So tired now.

The smoke and fire alarm maintenance people are due tomorrow, and I have to remember to phone the cancer place to tell them about the wound being all okay like.

Got me bedding on the floor – the wind blowing in through hoes in the wall, I settled and accepted the Clunk, whir shudder, rattle clunk bang of the fridge-freezer, read a bit of me book and then nodded off, mind racing!

Thu 23 July 2015: Fire alarm, Smoke Alarm and Lift Broke.

Thursday 23rd July 2015

DSC00013

This mornings photographicalisation from through the netting on the right of the balcony – 0730hrs

00540hrs: Woke and dashed to the porcelain yet again.

No memories of dreams.

Stayed up and finished yesterdays dairy, then went on Facebook for ages.

Beetplq3aLaptop on and got carried away doing some graphics using  Coreldraw x7 and Corelpaint.

A pot of porridge and many cups of tea later, I got it posted on Facebook.

Toyed with the other camera to try to work out how to get panorama piccies took – gave up and did a straight one from the balcony, it’s at the top of this diary.

Very late with me medications as I got carried Beetplq3.away with graphicalisationing.

Mucho wet rain forecast on radio Nottingham.

Had a S, S, & S – well, not the shampoo. Hehe!.

GP receptionist rang with the INR blood test results – too high again, they gave me the new dosages over the phone.

Went down and did me laundry – got there and realised I’d not taken me 20p’s for the machines – Tsk!

Back up and got them. Wot  plonka!

IMG_0092

My neighbour Norman this morning

Met Norman from flat 76 on the same floor as me in the lobby. Had a nice chin-wag with him. We have a lot in common – mainly our abilities to fall over!

Got the laundry done and back up to the flat.

Within the hour the maintenance man called to look at the hole in the wall near the vent – said it needed bricking up. So that means the decorating I’ve just had done will need doing again afterwards – and as they are going to replace the kitchen window later as well – I might have to wait until that’s done too before cleaning up after the first session, and the second session is likely to be many weeks after the first and then later they will be replacing the bath with a disabled type one so I can get in and out easier without risking life and limb, then they plan to… oh and the old dump needs… Oh never mind.

Back to the repair man and the vent with a giant hole in the wall causing the draughts: The man felt the draughts coming in and got on his phone and arranged for someone to come and brick-up the hole. Thursday 30th July 0930 to 1400hrs.

It’s driving missen potty here thinking about things. Huh!.

The INR test results arrived at the flat – so they have got me new address at last on the system.

IMG_0096Deana and the other woman arrived at the door for Deana to replace me Wrist alarm alert thingamajig.

Please note how straight the index finger is in this photographicalisation wot I done. A much much better day with Arthur Itis not bothering me fingers at almost at all – mind you, he was showing some interest in me knees.

We had a laugh and I told her about the window and air-vent plans.

A lady in the flats has a writing bureau to give away and asked me if I was interested and I said yes, but until I get me carpets in I have no way of storing it without having to keep moving it when the carpet layers arrive. Shame!

Deana said she would be in on Tuesday when the carpet man arrives and to call her when he arrives and she’s come and have a talk with him.

Steve from Age UK phones, oblivious to the fact I’d tried to contact him repeatedly over the passed 6 days. He says when the carpet is fitted, contact him and arrange to meet him at the old place to have a look at hat needs sorting.

IMG_0094Did some Facebooking for a good while, then made me nosh.

Polish chicken, chips, petits-pois, beetroot and smoked mini-sausages.

Very nice.

Rated this one 8.5/10.

A kindly neighbour called to tell me the lifts were now back working. I didn’t realise they had stopped working?

Took me medications and sat for hours thinking about things that needed to be done, how to get them done, things I can’t manage to do, where to get the help from, will I live long enough to get the old place and the flat sorted, will I run out of money before I sell the old place… does it matter?

Then I thought of the new people I’m met here in the flats, the feeling of security here and realised it does really matter. Then wondered again how I was ever going to get things sorted… The spinning churning confused frustrated thoughts milled about…

Got me quilt on the kitchen floor, laid down and read me book for a while, amazing how despite all the confusion in me brain I could concentrate on it, but I did? Until the draughts coming in got worse, then that brought the negatives back to mind… Do I need a shrink? – Hehe!

Nodded off to the calming sounds of the fridge-freezer… Brrr, clunk clung, long clunk, shudder whine, Brr, clunk clung, long clunk, Brr…

Night-night all, God bless.
