2tue01

Tuesday 8th November 2016

In Maltese: IT-TLIETA 8 Novembru, 2016

So early yet again, I woke in a panic this time at 0130hrs! Not the foggiest idea what for or why I was in a panic, but, I was. A most singular sensation it was. It soon evaporated and was replaced with the need for a WRHD session. I dismounted the wobbly £300 second-hand recliner and to the wetroom porcelain. I think I can stop the diarrhoea tablets now, things improving it that department, but the bleeding started again. What’s the odds the Senna will be started again soon? Hehehe!

Got the Desiree potatoes and crock-pot vegetables on the go. I did this now, in case I got peckish early again, with all this waking up in the early hours.

Made a little list of things to do when Deana arrives later. If she has the time that is of course.

Took the medications and made a mug of strong Co-op 99 tea.

Got on with WordPressing, and sorted the photographs ready for finishing pf yesterday’s diary. Eventually started this one off.

0555hrs: Back for another WRHD session. No bleeding this time.

Checked the Google Calendar and did some Facebooking for a few hours.

Deana called and got the new phone going for me bless her cotton socks. She got it going, put on the lousest ring tone and cancelled it taking messages. Checked that it was preventing witheld numbers coming in too. There is a facility t obar specific numbers, but that will need investigating later, whenh I start to get used to the things workings. I have to use four Ni-MH batteries (Whatever they are like) in it and have to get some spares and a charger it seems?

2tue02Hunger came over me early, so I got the stewed steak and gravy, two potatoes and the Crock-pot vegetables ready and ate it with some Sourdough Bread to soak up the gravy.

A lemon yoghort amd a Cox’s apple to follow.

Spent hours preparing graphics for later use, and felt alright for a couple of hours or so.

3wed03Then it hit me, the return of the grumbling innards!

Hot flushes, dizzies, spots and marks appeared all over me face and arms… Oh dear?

Computer off, I couldn’t concentrate any more.

Just flaked out in the £300 second-hand recliner chair and felt sorry for myself.

Hey-ho!

Inchcock Today- Not a good start to this Monday 7th November 2016

1mon01

Monday 7th November 2016

In Norwegian: Mandag 7 November 2016

Having had to get up at 0015hrs for a WRHD session, stubbing my toe and the stomach churnings, coughing and runny eyes, try as I may, I could not get to sleep again. Yet felt so tired and weary, weak. Shivering a bit occasionally.

Took a painkiller and swig of the ulcer medicine and spent an hour or two on the Computer Word compilation.

Off for another WRHD session then made a cup of tea and had a dizzy spell, first one for ages. The eyes seemed to be running a bit and drooping, as I typed merrily away. The cracked lips started to bleed. In fact, my many ailments appeared to be getting more ingravescent as the day went on.

Another dizzy caused me to check that I had on the wristlet alarm.

I have always loved taking a shower, but this morning, although I realise it is far too early to take a shower yet (0255hrs) for fear of disturbing the neighbours with the noisy water pump mechanism, I am not looking forward to it in the least?

1mon02I pressed on with WordPressing, graphic making and then onto Facebook. Concentration is not okay.

Received a notice from Nottingham City Homes. They are turning off the water again on Tuesday 15th November, between 0930hrs and 1700hrs.

Bless um!

1mon07A nice long shower and change of togs and off to visit Olive. She was not very well at all. Her family were looking after her and calling each day. I collected some jars to go with mine to the bottle bank, and she asked me to post a letter for her.

Got wrapped up well and nipped out to take the jars to the recycle bins, post Olive’s letter and called into the Community Shed. Where I found both Obergruppenfurheress Julie and Standartenführeress Deans both in.

I informed them of Olive not being too well this morning and in much pain. I asked if they knew of anyone who was a bit useful at setting up landline phones who could help me with my new one that had call blocking facilities, but I was a little lost with how to set it up. Deana said she would call to see me tomorrow.

Back to the flats, having a gossip as I passed the bus stop. Readied myself and out back down for the bus into town, where I planned to call at Jessops to look at the chairs, PC  World to find out what’s what with the data retrieval and get some Sourdough bread from Tesco, Oh, and Aldi to get some Rice-pea snacks.

Caught the L9 bus and dropped off on Upper Parliament Street, walked up Huntingdon Street and to the Aldi store. Got some deli Peasnacks – not a good idea me getting a different flavour, later found I could not eat them, too hot. I can give them to Deana tomorrow, she and Julie might like them. A jar of beetroots as well.

Walked through to the Victoria Centre Mall and to Tesco’s. Got some cooked chicken legs and a Sourdough loaf. To the other end of the centre and into 1mon03Jessops to look if they had any suitable chairs for the computer for me. One chair seemed perfect, but it was £299. Some on show were up to £899 each!

As I walked up the stairs to the top floor, I took this photographicalisation from the third-floor window on the stairwell. Clinton Street in the distance. There seemed plenty of shoplifters about this morning.

I decided it might be best for me to order a chair from Amazon? But they might need erecting? Confused myself again, now.

1mon03aTo the end of the mall and towards the stairs onto the street.

Took a photo through the dirty windows of the walk-over, of the birds on the rooftops, the crows were after them, and they kept flocking off together and returning.

Suppose the crows are tiring them out so they can gobble up a few of the weaker pigeons?

1mon04As I came to the top of the stairs down to the street level, it was a depressing site.

Flaking walls, rubbish all over and at the bottom liquids of varying types stagnant and stinking?

Then to the ridiculous, absurd and expert liars at the PC World establishment. I inquired at the KnowHow Desk. The chap was supposedly working at the desk, was spread-eagled over it nattering to his mate visiting him about something. I explained everything again: I’d been hacked, bought a new computer (Foolishly from you), your bloke told me they would retrieve what data from the laptop they could and let me know what’s what.

When you delivered it and set up the printer, the block said the old laptop would have to be sent to Birmingham to be done and would let me know later, I paid him an extra £90 for this.

A week (Last Friday) then I called here and asked if there was any news about the job. The youth told me they could not access the laptop to get at the data and needed me to buy a data disc (£35) and they need the password. Supplied him with both. He said his boss would get it sorted by tomorrow for me and I could call Monday to collect it.

It is Monday, andI’ve called to collect it!

“Oh, no man!” Says the whippersnapper to me. It’s got to go to Birmingham…

After the hassle and being conned and lied to by United Carpets, then British ‘Do-as-they-like’ Gas, now PC World have a go at confusing and messing me about!

I politely told the teenager that PC World ought to be renamed Farcical World! He didn’t bat an eyelid, just stared blankly through me and said nothing?

Bemused, I made my way to the bus stop outside the Boots store and awaited the arrival of the last L9 bus.One passenger was shouting down his mobile phone for fifteen minutes and getting on my nerves after the PC World crap, I was not in a good mood at all. Eventually, he roared to the poor soul on the other end: “I’ll ‘ave to go, batteries dying youth…”

One passenger was shouting down his mobile phone for fifteen minutes and getting on my nerves. It was all the worse cause we were on an electric bus and blokes rasping voice could be heard and suffered by the other passengers.

After the PC World crap, I was not in a good mood at all. Eventually, he roared to the poor soul on the other end: “I’ll ‘ave to go, batteries dying youth…”

I just could not stop myself, I clapped and said, “Hurrah, at last!” The expressions on other passengers faces told me they wanted to cheer too, but the bloke, a big one, turned and gave me a stare that indicated his displeasure and hatred for me! I foolishly stared back at him with contempt on my face. Good job he didn’t get violent, I’d have got marmalised!

I blame PC World for causing my moment of frustration and intolerance!

He gave me a lingering look, and I gave him one back as I got off the bus, which was not a good idea on my part: Cause I missed my footing as I alighted and nearly went over. Still, it gave the big chap a smile as the bus pulled away. Hehehe!

In the flat, WRHD session, a bit of bleeding there, and got the dinner prepared 1mon05much earlier than usual.

It was a feast too, apart from the under-cooked chicken legs that is. Everything else was tasty.

Drained now, after getting up so early again.

Tsk!

1mon08I opened the box that the phone arrived in: Look at this!

I’ve Whoopsidangleplopped again I think. Don’t remember the thing looking like this when I ordered it?

A blooming good job I’ve asked for help in setting it up, innit.

Space-Age Inchcock? Hehe!

I left it in the box in the hope that someone can start from scratch.

Did the washing up, the stomach had calmed down nicely now.

1mon06The sky looked a bit different than of late tonight. Mind you, it has forecast temperatures will fall to -4°c!

Great, now the storage heater in the front room is not working! Twiddled with the controls without any success. I’ll have to mention this to Deana tomorrow, if she gets here, she’s a busy gal.

I got myself well wrapped up, jammies, dressing gown, bedsocks, woolly hat on and slippers.Gogglebox on and what a comedy the attempted viewing was tonight.

Gogglebox on and what a comedy the attempted viewing was tonight. A few minutes, nod-off a few minutes repeatedly until I gave up and got me head down around 2100hrs.

Woken in a state of panic, at 0130hrs, wide awake again!

Inchcock Today, stomach rumbling Sunday 6th November 2016

7sun04

Sunday 6th November 2016

Spanish: Domingo 6 de Noviembre de 2016

Stirred into life again at 0115hrs, infested with a state of high anxiety and feeling rather capricious. The anxiety, due to the urgency of the need for a WRHD session. The capriciousness, I’ve no idea why.

A bit disappointed in not remembering any of the dreams I’m sure I’d been having. Especially after recalling so much of the night before’s. And the struggle to get out of the £300 second-hand recliner was not easy, cause it only went part the way down this time, Hehe!

Again, like Saturday morning, the stomach played up after the WRHD session.

By gum it was cold this morning, the kitchen thermometer was only 54°f. I thought as the kettle was started, that I could hear the wind, but realised it was the hot water tap I’d left running on full. Made a nice mug of Co-op 99 tea, but had to return to the porcelain for a WRWW.

I decided to get the washing done and collated the gear to take down to the laundry room. Got some clobber on, a box of recycling rubbish along with the bag and down to the foyer. There was still only one lift working this morning.

Took the box out to leave at the caretaker’s door. This made me wonder if he was alright, I’d not seen him for a week? Got the washing machine going on the short mode and returned up the lift and had to have another WRHD session again! Still, no bleeding from anywhere and the knuckles I’d singed on the oven were healing up very nicely. Hell of a thirst on me, so I made another mug of tea, but didn’t feel like anything to eat. The stomach still grinding away. Might be a good idea not to take a walk up to Aldi like I’d planned to do later. Best keep myself within a short distance from the Porcelain today, I thought!

7sun02Down again to the laundry room and moved the stuff into the dryer – oh dear, someone had not cleaned out the filter again.

Naughty! Still, it might have been someone who used the machine last was unable to bend down and do it? Or perhaps an idle old bugger? Hehe!

So I cleaned it up and got the dryer going on the extra-dry option. Back up again to the apartment, and got the medicationalistic requirement tended to.

7sun03I had to do the Enoxaparin injection into the tummy this morning. No bother, I’m lucky with not having any fear of needles or hypodermics (Trypanophobia).

Fair enough, mind, I do have fears of Deep Water, Women (Gynophobia), Walking on Snow & Ice and suffer from Ophidiophobia (Fear of snakes) and Spheksophobia (Fear of Wasps). I’m not too keen on politicians either. Would that be Politicophobia?Hehe!

Returned down and collected the dried togs and cleaned the filter and surfaces. Up to the flat again and, you’ve guessed it, to the porcelain! Put the clothes away.

Time for the medications took a diarrhoea capsule with the regular morning tablets.

Did some more updating on the diaries and some more graphicalisationing.

Got the urge to open the kitchen window now it was light, and I hung out of the above and took a picture straight down from the window, and to the left and down. I told you I was feeling in a capricious mood.

7sun06

On the first one on the left, lower centre against the wall of the flats you’ll see a rectangle that sticks out from the building. That is out foyer come lobby. Just thought I’d mention it if anyone comes to visit me. That reminds me, I’ve had an idea for a graphic of Duncan (Robertson), my friend who came all the way from Birmingham and helped me out last Sunday with the computer and printer problems. I’ll get it done now.

Back in a bit.

Phew, that took some time, but I really enjoyed doing it. I shan’t show it on here yet, in case Dunc might like to use it on his https://madhatters.me.uk/ site, or whichever.

Did a Morrison order for next week.

The rain came down a bit, so no chance of me going out. Little concerned about my innards imploding as they rumble merrily away again.

Did some Facebooking and graphicationalisationing. Worked on the WordsToUse file for over three hours.

7sun06aGot the fodder ready.

Pork Frikadellens, herbed potatoes in oil baked, tin garden peas, beetroot and eggs. Sourdough bread.

So tired and the stomach still churning away, I tried to watch some TV, but nodded-woke for hours.

Had a sweven, in which people were queuing up for advice from me, as I sat on a cloud at a desk, with guards armed with water pistols, leading individuals to the office in the cloud, they would ask their question, and I really felt that I answered each one without hesitation. This seemed to go on for years and years, but I grew no older, when one of the many asked “What is the meaning of life” I’d answer; “If you knew that, life would be forced to cease to exist”. Eventually, I had a tea break and phoned my brother-in-law Pete, asking him to make a plaque with this answer engraved on it?

0010hrs: Awoke with a start, off for yet another WRHD session, the stomach churning again, worse afterwards than before.

Whoopsiedangleplops! No chance of getting back to sleep. What with the stomach, me stubbing my toes and then banging my head as I bent down to pick up the toilet roll I’d dropped!

Updated this diary.

Inchcock Today. Sunny but so cold: Friday 4th November 2016

5fri01

Friday 4th November 2016

Swedish: Fredag 4 November 2016

0230hrs: Woke up needing a WRHD session, which went well, very well, no blood, no pain! Made a mug of tea.

Got on the computer to start doing the Thursday post around 0240hrs, and got carried away with updating my Words To Use file.

I looked at the Oder tracker for the phone coming from Amazon, it was on about 75/80%

After half an hour, surprisingly, I had to return for another WRHDS session?

Not nice this one. Bleeding, painful, and the stomach ache started, afterwards? Back to the Word editing.

0750hrs: (Five hours plus later), I finally got it done. I saved it to the dropbox.

With the innards still giving me grief, I got the Crock-Pot vegetables going. Quartered two large mushrooms, sliced some red peppers and added some Parsnips. I meant to add some sea-salt which I did, and basil. Realised afterwards that I’d put Oregano in instead.

I had another look at the Order Tracker for the phone coming from Amazon again, now down to about 60%?

Hey-ho, I got the Thursday diary done and posted off, at last. Started this one off.

After computerisationing for ages, I checked the Tracker, and it said it was here? Minutes later the intercom rang, it was the driver. Met him at the lift, got the box and took it to the flat. Now the job of finding someone to help me get it going properly.

5fri02Ablutions were done and out for a walk through the park to Sherwood, to catch a bus to Arnold.

The Copse looked gorgeous as I went up the gravel hill path.

The sun was intense, but it was perishingly cold.

As I waddled down through the park 5fri03onto Mansfield Road, I saw that the works that have been going on for a while now had reached the putting in of cement and iron poles next to the brick garden retaining wall.

I hope this works, I’d hate to clock-out of this mortal world buried under a massive brick wall as it collapses on me? Hehe!

5fri04Walked over the hill and down to the bus stop, caught a number 58 bus into Arnold. Which was a lot busier than usual today.

Nipped into the Wilko store and got a magic sponge thingamabob.

Then down passing the Market Place and into the Boyes Store, where I got a tin of Vaseline Lip Balm for a quid. Then I nipped into Savers and got toilet cleaner, Baco-Foil and Deo Fab freshener.

Along to the Asda, the reason I went out in the first place, to get the photographs from the Social Hour printed. As I approached the booth thingy, I was amazed to see the lady locking it up! Seems they now close half day on a Thursda5fri04ay. Humph! So no choice but to leave it and try to remember to try again on Monday or Tuesday next week.

So to the bus-stop to catch the L9 back to the flats.

Glad to report the vandalised bench nearby had suffered no more attacks since the last visit.

5fri05Got on the bus and fellow resident Mary was on the bus. Had chat en route. When we got off, May was there just getting off a number L8 bus, and we all hobbled up in the lift together.

Note how the gals, well, all of us were well wrapped up. Despite the bright sunshine, there was a well-cold nip in the air.

5fri06A WRWW and I got on with making the fodder.

As I did so, I took this photo through the kitchen window of some distant housing opposite my Woodthorpe Court apartments.

Captured the changing season colours rather well I thought.

5fri07Made a bit of a mess with the meal preparations… I overcooked the potato Gnocchi, ended up throwing it away.

Still, I had plenty of Sourdough bread with the Frikadellens and crock-pot cooked mushrooms added to the Pasta tomato sauce with herbs.

Appetising, but I have become so tired out again. Drained, for some reason?

Watched an episode and a half of Hussle before drifting off…

Inchcock Today. Thursday 3rd November 2016: Busy day

4thr02

Thursday 3rd November 2016

In Swahili: Alhamisi Novemba 3, 2016

Up at 0300hrs, fumbled my way out of the unsteady £300 second-hand recliner and completed a WRHD session. No blood this morning, a good start.

Wo4thr03rked on some Graphics for the TFZer folks, and managed to do a Spot the Difference Competition, but oh dear. What an idiot. I’d written the differences down on a bit of paper when I made each one so I could count them up afterwards… Went to make a cuppa and take me medications, and threw the paper in the bin, realised the container needed emptying, so swapped the black bag for a new one and took the used one to the chute and threw it down. Along with the list of differences! Plonker! Still, I posted it off.

After all the effort to get it right, I had to.J

I found nine difference up to now, but no worry about letting folk know this, cause I’m sure there were more than that? I think. Perhaps. Maybe?

Several mugs of tea, WRWWs as I got on with updating the diaries.

Looked on Amazon and found they were selling cordless landline phones, with call blocker on them. So I ordered one, should be delivered tomorrow!

Got the ablutions done and set off for the Tenants Social hour, calling on Olive to ask her if it was alright for me to use her address in case I’m not in, although I’m staying in until the telephone comes. She was very busy getting ready for a family visit and agreed it would be alright.

4thr06There were not many residents at the social hour today.

 So many regulars were missing.

Mainly I heard, due to their being poorly.

Sore throats, coughs, colds, influenza, the trots and so many on holiday or 4thr04visiting relatives.

But that was fun to greet and talk to those who had just got back after illnesses.

Only three of the usual gang at our table. Bill, BJ and me.

But we all seemed to enjoy the meeting.

4thr05BJ arrived a little late and got his raffle tickets. Then proceeded to win four prizes, Bill won 2, and Eddie won 3, even I won a tin of peaches which I gave to Bill cause I don’t like them and know he does. Beats the lottery! Hehe!

Warden Dean shot through with a smile and a laugh.

We parted, and I went up to the flat and got the bits ready for my trip to town to see PC World and find out how they are going with rescuing the data from the old laptop. Been a fortnight now, I’ve paid my £90 quid and heard nothing from them.

4thr07WRWW, checked the taps, cooker, etc. and down to the bus stop.

Nice chinwag with some residents as they also waited for the bus.

Got the L9 into town, and nipped into the Pound Shop to see if they had any Lip Salve this time. I was in luck, I think

4thr09They had some minuscule tubes of Virasorb Sore Cream, one left on the shelf. The tube contained 2g of the stuff. Two gramme, I ask yer! That ain’t gonna last long, is it? Also got some Wagon Wheels, cause when I took the nibbles round art the Social, one of the gals asked if I had any. Marmite cheese bites, washing-up liquid, wholemeal rolls, and Wasabi nuts made their way into my bag.

4thr14Next, I made my way to the PC World store and explained my queries to a 6’4″ totally uninterested ankle-snapper almost ready to start shaving, and he ‘Uged’ grunted and pointed to the back of the store towards the KnowHow Computer counter.

I made a point of overdoing the “Thank you for your time and effort”, and the lad didn’t seem to understand or recognise my sarcasm at all. To the KnowHow counter, and bravely approached the assistant, who eventually came back down to this planet and saw me there after a few minutes. He nonchalantly strolled over to me, and obviously being economical with words as well as the ankle-snapper, shook his head upwards and forced out of his lips: ‘Cun I ‘elp yers Sir?’ I gave him my details, he looked them up and informed me that they had not done anything with the laptop yet, as they do not have the access code. And, I have to buy a 32mb memory stick for them to put any files they can rescue on. You’d have thought the bloke that collected it when he came to set-up the new computer and printer a fortnight ago [and failed to get it right] might have thought of this at the time?

He added they had tried to phone me on both contact numbers. I explained that since I had been hacked, I now pay Virgin to block all landline calls with their number withheld. (Which PC Worlds are) Checked the mobile and there were no missed calls on it!

I supplied the genius with a password to get into the laptop and an email address. Bought a memory stick and gave it to him.B

I left feeling confused, bitter, and wishing I could now blow-up PC World, Virgin Media, British Gas and Pavement Cyclists. The Pavement Cyclist were a late addition to my Bucket List, as one only just missed hitting me on the pavement as I left the beautiful, caring, accommodating, considerate staff of the PC World store.

4thr08Shook such terrible thoughts from my mind and pressed on over the road and into the Victoria Centre Shopping Centre (Mall).

Good job Arthur Itis was kind to me, as I battled my way through the throng of folks and shoplifters and on into Tesco. Where the reserve bag I carry the regular one in, came into action.

Having a real slow perusal of the shelves, I came across some PEas-Rice Stick snacks in big packs, on offer £1 off if you buy two packs. I could not obstrigillate the desire to try them, and bought four! Along with two of their small Sourdough sliced bread loaves, Marmite cheese cubes, a TV paper, two different Pasta Sauce jars; one of them at half-price, and I even found some Vaseline Lip Salve!

Made my way to the bus stop outside the Boots store, and had a chinwag with a lady waiting. She lives in Bestwood, and her daughter is visiting her for two days, she had a lovely smile and had a crossword book in her bag. Just thought I’d mention it, like.

Back at the flats I soon had a WRWW, medications taken and found a letter from a resident, Jenny who is a former Warden of the apartments, who can’t let it go, you know; The urge to be in charge. She certainly is with her partner, poor old Frank, H4thr15ehe!

She explains in the letter that Kath and Ian, who run the Tenants Social Hour are leaving (Poorly health and long travelling), and wants to know if we want to donate to a leaving gift.

She or Frank must have the money by Thursday 1st December.

2016-04-01-10-45-03

Here is Jenny from a few months ago in the Reception Foyer of Woodthorpe Court.

She was collecting money, from 93-year-old Polish Eddie for something or other; I forget now.

I think she is a bit intimidating to some of the residents and has gained the ability to remove any and all humour from her psyche. But I like her. Honestly, I’m not being pseudonymous at all. Alright, she scares the hell out me!

To tired to do any diary writing until tomorrow now. Got on with the 4thr10meal. Oven chips, beetroot, tomatoes, pork pie centre, Polish ham, Yorkshire puddings & Cheesy cobs.

Calamitously, when adding the Yorkshire puddings in with the chips as they were nearly cooked, I caught me knuckles of the oven as I did so.

I think I said something like “Oh, fancy that” at the time. Haha!

A dab or two of the Germolene antiseptic cream eased the burning 4thr11twinges.

Although, I could easily have had another Whoopsiedangleplop when I nearly applied the Daktacort cream by mistake for the Germolene. Phew!

I enjoyed and savoured this meal, the Yorkshires were the highlight, and there were no failures tonight. Which made a nice change.

When in the medication drawers, I remembered to let Brother in Law Pete have some pain-gel, I’d put two tubes away to give him and forgot to take them last time I visited. Fancy that, me forgetting something, I’m amazed!

No sooner had I got down in the £300 second-hand recliner, I’d nodded away into the land of kip!

Inchcock Today. Wednesday 2nd November 2016: Not a successful day, hey-ho!

3wed01Wednesday 2nd November 2016

In Ukrainian: Середа 2 листопада 2016

Woken at 0200hrs. WRWW, Cuppa, updated diaries.

0235hrs: Got the rest of the washing together and down to the laundry room again. Did a bit of graphicalisationing.

3wed020312hrs: Down to move washing to the dryer. Checked filter, all clean. Photo took from outside the foyer door. When I got back up and downloaded the photograph, looking close up, to the left of the car on the far right, I thought there was a cat dog or something sat looking at me?

If you can see owt, I’d like to know it ain’t just me losing it. Hehe!

3wed040420hrs: Got the clean and dried clobber out of the dryer.

Cleaned out the filter and wiped the surfaces and sprayed around with some citrus disinfectant spray. Cleaned the brushes.

I had to laugh at myself as I emptied the things out of the drum – I’d gone and forgot not to put me 3wed05favourite woolly cap in with the main wash.

Here’s why on the right.

Now it’s shrunk even further than it did last time I forgot not to put it in the washing machine.

Hehehe!

Back up to the flat and a WRWW completed. Put the things away, got the accoutrement ready for the next laundry session, made a cuppa and took the photo I used as the header on this post – doctoring it I came across some problems with Coreldraw though.

Made a cuppa and done some Facebooking. The tea got cold, so I made another and took the morning medications.

Had to get ready then, for the Morrison delivery coming twixt  0730 > 0830hrs, and get the things ready for me shopping.

Going to look for a phone that shows callers number on display, some sauces to go with my dumplings and Potato Gnocchi, and something else that I cannot recall at the moment. Hello, a change of plans, a WRHD session first!

Oh yes, Lip salve was the other thing.

Abluted, I called at Olive’s and had a little chinwag. She said to look for the Nivea lip salve in town. Had a cuddle between us. Picked up some glass jars to take to the bank with mine on the way out.

Then back to number 72 and got me bags and off I poddled to the bottle bank then the bus stop.

A great laugh with some other residents, at the bus stop. The L9 soon got me into town and I dropped off and went into the Pound Shop to see if they had any lip gel stuff in stock. But they had none available. I got three things for raffle prizes tomorrow.

3wed07Went over to the Argos store to look at the landline phones that show incoming numbers, but couldn’t fathom what did and what didn’t. Walked into Victoria Mall and went in the old Jessop Store and looked at theirs on display on the third floor. It was horrendously busy and I could not get anyone to assist me, so up to the necks in it, they were, poor souls. There were two models that had stickers on them saying they could bar calls. I’ll have to go back when they are not so busy.

Walked to the Aldi store and got some Deli Pea Snacks and some jars of pasta sauce.

Called into a shop to get some lip gel and they had none. I walked into Boots and they had some, but at a ridiculous price.

3wed06As I passed the Council House on the way to the bus terminus, a plane going up into the sky looked like it was a searchlight or something shooting out from the dome. and caught the L9 back to the flats.

Caught the L9 back to the flats.

Mary was at the bus stop when I got off again, so gave her a nibble and walked back to the flats with her.

Got in the INR Warfarin blood test letter had arrived. 2.5, that was goodish, so they informed me to book the next appointment for Monday 14th November, then a WRHD session took place. Sent an email request.

3wed09Put the things away, placing some Pea & Rice snack packets in the small Ottoman at the side of the £300 second-hand rickety recliner for later.

Got some water in the pans ready for doing the meal later.

Computer turned on checked the emails, Sister Jane sent one. Replied. Did a quick Facebook session, then some graphicationalisationing.

3wed08Got the food cooking. Managed to let the Gnoochi boil over and had to clean the stove and floor again.

By the time I got the nosh it was not as hot as I would have liked it to be but still enjoyed it.

Potato Gnocchi, tomato & Herb sauce, cheesy cobs, Mushrooms and crispy bacon. Followed by Mandarin in orange jelly.

Well tired now, I did manage to watch an episode of Hustle on a DVD, before turning off and tired as I was, struggled to get to sleep.

Inchcock Today Tuesday 1st November 2016: Bewilderment, befuddlement and bemusement Whoopsiedangleplop day!

2tue01

Tuesday 1st November 2016

Up, out of the £300 second-hand rickety recliner and down to the laundry room, washing in the machine and back up to the flat and computer on all by 0205hrs. WRHD session, only a little bleeding and hassle.

0210hrs, down to the laundry room and got the washing going on Quick Mode. Back up the lift t’flat and on the computer again.

2tue020240hrs, Down and moved the things into the dryer, wiped the machines. Up and did some work on the computer. Started work on the diaries and graphicationalisationing.

0345hrs, To the laundry room again, folded the things into the bag, cleaned out the filter and wiped the machine and sink area surfaces down.

Put the clobber away in the airing cupboard and hung some up, readied the powder, capsules, freshener and droplets for the next session and brought them in the empty laundry bag ready.

2tue05 Made a mug of tea and took the morning medications. At this stage, 045hrs, the first Whoppsiedangleplop of the day occurred. I dropped the pot of tablets, bent down to retrieve it and knocked the bottle of antacid off the kitchen counter and what a horrible mess it made as the bottle broke and the medicine looked like gunge and stuck like gunge to the kitchen floor! Picking out the brown glass bits was easy compared to cleaning up the liquid that had clung to the floor like a moveable glue!

2tue03Tried using paper towels but that wasn’t very successful, so I got the mop and bucket out – eventually the floor was presentable it – but it took as long again to get the mop and bucket cleaned, and it took two rolls of Blitz kitchen towels, flash liquid, bleach, washing up liquid and a lot of swearing to clean the sink that I cleaned the mop and bucket in!

But at least I was happy at getting the things cleaned up rather well, even if it did take me ages. And it did too, I reckon it was around 0540hrs by the time all was sorted, well over an hour. Tsk!

2tue04Good job I’d just collected this month’s two bottles yesterday. So I started the last one off.

I’ll have to ask for a prescription for another bottle when I pass the surgery, that’ll make me very popular with the staff!

Thinking of all the hassle and effort it took to get the stuff off of the floor, and they tell me to take four doses of the stuff a day?

No wonder I’m having troubles with my WRHD sessions is it? Hehehe!

I checked some paperwork waiting to be sorted and put away, and found the hospital appointment for November and realised it was a Serologist the arrangement was for me to meet.

Had to look up Serologist on Google. Turns out he or she is a specialist in bodily fluids – blood, serum, saliva, etc. Then I looked up what serum was. It told me it was: An amber-coloured, protein-rich liquid which separates out when blood coagulates. So now I know, being on Warfarin which thins the blood to avoid coagulation. I wish they wouldn’t confuse with changing the names. Haha!

Reading this reminded me to check the emails in case I’d received any from the surgery about yesterday’s INR test. Nothing from the NHS in it. Plenty of Can-We-Sell-You-Something Emails, though. Asda, HP, CorelDraw, Serif and Epson being amongst them.

Eventually got back on the computer, with my wrinkled hands and fingers after the marathon cleaning up operation, and got on switching between the diary and doing graphics, and Facebooking.

Realised I could not remember the pin number for the new card! Duncan said he’s put his phone number in the mobile, but I could not find it? I’ll have to see them at the bank for advice.

Got the ablutions done post haste so I could catch the half-past bus.

A gossip with a couple of residents at the bus stop. The L9 bus came on time, and I was soon in town. Well, with 35 minutes.

2tue06Made my way straight to the bank and they couldn’t find Duncan’s number on my mobile. I needed to call him cause he knew where I’d concealed the number, Humpf!

It’ll take five working days for them to get me a new pin number.

Running out of money here!

Came out of the bank and nearly got hit my a Nottingham Pavement Cyclist on Exchange Walk! Not surprising, there were dozens of them about.

2tue112tue12Nipped down to Broad Marsh, to take a photograph of a particular area to put on a Nottingham site, along with one from the 1950’s.

2tue07Back up to the Slab Square, where they SSE electric company workmen were busy setting up the Christmas decorations, on and around the Council House.

Waltzed (Well I use the term waltzed but…Hehe!) up King Street and down Upper Parliament Street, left up Milton Street, across that and hobbled through the Victoria Shopping Centre (Mall) and out the other end, over Glasshouse Street to Huntingdon Street, across that and into the Aldi store.

2tue13Where I was in luck today.

I got some Gnocchi potatoes, Tomato & Mushroom sauce and some Pea & Rice nibbles for after the nosh. I added a tin of mini sausages to go in the sauce later, and I already had some Ciabatti cobs at home, they’ll need doing in the oven for a few minutes. The Gnocchi can be done in another saucepan, they only need simmering in boiling water until the food rises to the top the instructions say.

2tue08Walked back through the Victoria Mall (Centre) and noticed this Pizza place, The Stonebaked Pizza Company. Four staff and no customers.

Another one to close down soon I expect?

Out onto Mansfield Road and around the corner to catch the L9 bus.

There were no Woodthorpe or Winchester Court tenants at the stop, which is rare.

2tue09I took a picture from the bus stop, facing where the bus would arrive from. Can you see some of Fothergill Watson designed building on the left-hand side?

The bus came, and I had a chinwag with a lady passenger en route. Lovely lady, she was telling me about her family and the problems she was having.

2tue10At the flats stop, I found Mary, having a rest on the bench there, before she carried on into the flats. I stayed with her, and we had a gossip.

She was in fine form today. She let me take her photo twice! The on you see here, and one where she was pointing at the metal lattice seat. This is the one where I took a photograph of a ladybird last week for the TFZers on Facebook.

I walked Mary to her flat, gave her some nibbles, then got the lift again up to mine. Where a WRWW was tended to with a degree of urgency. Hehe!

Put the bits away and had a search for the missing PIN number, then realised the Bank had suspended it anyway, while they arrange to send me a new one.

Got the computer going and updated this rubbish.

Then did a bit of Facebooking again, and some graphicationalisationing was done.

2tue13Got the meal prepared.  Put the sauce, and mini sausages in a saucepan were slowly warming.

Ciabatti cobs in the oven for five minutes.

A big pan of boiling water and added the Gnocchi.

Served it up in the bowl, and this helped me forget the terrible accident prone, frustrating and embarrassing day I’d had, as I savoured the wonderful taste of the meal.

Washing up afterwards took a while.

Put a DVD on and fell asleep.

Inchcock Today: Monday 31st October 2016: A Day of Pernicketyness

1mon01

Monday 31st October 2016

In Usbek: Dushanbe 31 Oktabr 2016

Woke up at 0235hrs: In the same position, I fell asleep in. Headphones on the head, remote control for the TV at my right side and the wind-up torch between my legs. The £300 second-hand recliner was on a go-slow, and shuddering with it; But it eventually let me out, in the nick-of-time to get for a WRHD session. Not a good one, bleeding and a hint of constipationalistic none activity were present for a painful while.

Kettle on. Took the medications with an added Senna tablet, made a cuppa and got the computer started. Such a pleasure to load CorelDraw X7 and be able to see what I am downloading. All thanks to Duncan’s visitation yesterday.

Made sure I’d put the Morrison delivery on the Google Diary, noting that today I had the INR Warfarin level blood test at the Sherringham Park Surgery, then the monthly prescriptions to collect from the Chemist. Must take a large bag with me today then.

Finished and posted yesterday’s WordPress diary and started this one off. A real satisfaction in being able to use CorelDraw and see the imports.

Made a start on the ‘Marmite’ article. It will be a photographic gallery of Marmite products, some genuine but a few not so. Just of Marmite lovers really I suppose? Hehe!

Took a while.

1mon02Stooped, er, no, stopped for a break and made another strong mug of tea.(Flipping tiny keyboard, I’m forever having to correct mistakes).

I had to open the kitchen window to take this photographicalisation of the misty view outside.

Bonfire Night weather this, that is on for the 5th November.

Getting the window to close was a little harder than opening it was, bruised knuckles as testimony to that!

Got back onto creating the Marmite post. Finally getting it finished and posted, then rushing around doing the ablutions so I could get time to visit Olive on the way out.

Regrettably, she was not in, huh!

1mon07Set off on what turned out to be a very little one-way hobble to the surgery and around Carrington. Caught two buses back.

The mist has lifted at last, and it was pleasant and warm with little wind and what there was wasn’t a cold one either.

A jolly pleasant hobble, other than having to make it a fast one to there in time for my appointment), down Chestnut Walk to the bottom of Winchester Street Hill, left down Hood Street. Right to the end of Marshall Street and left down Mansfield Road. Carrying on up and over down over the hill, down into Carrington.

1mon03The signs of the season were all over the streets and roads en route.

Arrived with a few minutes to spare in the surgery, signed in and got the crossword book out.

Called in a couple of minutes later and had a great humourous chinwag with the nurse as she took my blood for the INR Warfarin level test.

Out hobbled into Carrington a called in the Lidl shop. Got three large open mushrooms, mini-peppers, seafood sticks, Pork Frikadellens, Gnocchi and some part baked Ciabatta rolls. Along with the other stuff in the bag, it became rather cumbersome. Hehe!

1mon04Out and into the chemist to collect the month’s prescriptions – which weighed more than the other bag!

I’d taken a thick empty bag with me. So I carried them both to the bus stop, taking the scenic route around Carrington, just to see the old place. But I could not bring myself to look at the old house on Sherbrooke Road.

6sat01

Roy, last week in the Laundry Room

I met my fellow tenant Roy waiting at the shelter, to do the same as I, and catch a bus into Sherwood, then another one up to the flats.

We had a good laugh, and he put one of my bags on top of his trolley for me, bless him.

He did comment: Careful you don’t get home to the flat without the bag! Haha!

When we arrived back in Sherwood, we crossed over and found that a bus must be due shortly, because the shelter had been taken over my the flats tenants. There were seven of us, counting Roy and me. I went down the line and donated a chocolate coin to each one. We did have a laugh. Which continued on the bus. Even in the lift going up, although, by then, there were just three of us, Roy, 94-year-old Norman and me.

I had such a good time, I forgot to use the camera. Tsk!

Out of the lift and called on Olive again. No reply, I hope she’s alright. It may be here dinner day with her family perhaps.

1mon06To the flat and a much needed WRWW.

Took the midday medications. Put the prescriptions away in the right place and rotated them. Stored the fodder away.

Got the kettle on and set about doing a graphic for Marie in Australia. Thought she might be able to use it in her posts. I’ll not show it here, in case she does.

1mon03aWent to make another cuppa, the last one got cold.

I noticed how wonderful the Copse looked from the kitchen window, and took this photograph of it, in all of its amazing winter-is-coming colours!

Not many folks about in the woods today.

I got a call from an Asian sounding gentleman and rang off quickly. I thought 1mon09it might be the hacker again. Then remembered I was paying for withheld numbers to be barred from getting through? So I tried 1471 and was told that 02034574172 was the number ringing. Then, I put this into Google and found many complaints about this number. Hundreds of comments about the caller wanting to ask just three questions. People discovered that they were charged for the call. So be aware my friend, please.

1mon08Then I tried to find out if I could buy a caller display landline phone, but many pages gave differing answers.

But I could not find if it was possible to buy a Virgin compatible caller ID display landline?

The trouble is, every time I’ve been into the Virgin Media showroom they have told me to call their helpline, and with my hearing difficulties, and the chance of me making a mistake, it is no an option for me.

I suppose I’ll have to call on them again, but don’t hold out much hope of any help.

Popped out to see if Olive was in yet. No, not in.

Did some Facebooking.

Nipped back to see Olive, not in, bet it is her dinner day, maybe?

1mon11Fodder. I got the meal ready.

But what is it? I’ll put a competition photo on Facebook in the morning. Clue, the shell-like things are something I’ve never tried before? Or maybe not.

Consumed the meal, washed up and visited Olive again, crossed fingers.Olive

Olive answered the door. I asked if she was alright and she told me she’s just shut her living room door to get some peace for the day. Oh, dear. Hope she didn’t mean I was calling too often, cause I’d not called on her for two days? We had a chinwag and she told me she would not be available tomorrow, 1mon10she’s out all day with the family. Gave her a peck said my farewells and limped back to the flat, just a touch depressed.

Making a mug of tea as the day faded, the sky lifted me a bit.

Once again, I settled in the recliner and put on the gogglebox only to fall asleep in minutes.

Inchcock Today Sunday 30th October 2016: Sir Duncan to the Rescue!

7sun01

Sunday 30th October 2016

In Swahili: Jumapili Oktoba 30, 2016

Woken at 0330hrs, wrote a scribbled note on my pad about the dreams I’d been having. Unfortunately, when I rose at 0400hrs and disentangled myself from the rickety £300 second-hand recliner chair and made for the porcelain and a WRHD session, not a pleasant one, and returned, I could not make out much of my writing! And the memories had evaporated into the ether. Canal, boat sinking, Marie, Lyzzi, Sausages, sleeping bag and coffin were the only words I was sure of? I do hate it when this happens, Tsk!

Took the medications, made a strong mug of tea, dropping the milk as I put it back into the fridge. Made a right mess! As I cleared it all up, I realised that the ailments that attacked me so badly yesterday morning, well, all bar Duodenal Daniel, were friendly and calm. Naturally, an hour or so after thinking this, Anne Gyna kicked off! Humph!

Started this diary off and later I went for a WRWW and to make another 7sun02brew. While doing so, I thought I’d take a shot from the kitchen window. I put the selector on a different option for scenery and took this photograph.

No idea what else I must have done to the settings, but this one must go in my ‘Favourite Photo’s I’ve Taken’ album on Facebook.

How I got the arthritic fingers and camera in the shot beats me! Can’t wait to show it to Duncan later. In fact, I’ll try to get a photo of Duncan put on it now, using CorelDraw (If it lets me that is). Back in a bit.

Blimus, I had a hell of a job finding a photo of Duncan to use. This reminded me that PC World, have they got the things they saved from the old computer and charged me £100 to do it yet? Been a week now, but I must be patient, better I get any files back, and they are not infected with the Hackers virus.

Must take some more photographicalisations of Duncan today.

7sun047sun03Eventually, I got it done, though.

I vignetted the original file on Duncan’s photo, then applied an orange drop-shadow.

Mildly pleased with the outcome. (Smug mode adopted at this stage). But of course, no point in saving it, because CorelDraw will not let me view it to reload it.

I tried another doctorisation of the photograph then.

Hope he likes them, he might be able to use one or the other on his website do you think?

Is he a handsome brute; he is? Been retired a while now, and I bet he is not regretting it in the least.

Did some Facebooking, cause I won’t have time later when we start trying to sort out the computer. Plenty of lovely messages, it took me hours, but I enjoyed it.

7sun06

Another message up on the screen.

Persevered with the CorelDraw graphicalisationing on a TFZer known as  Betty from Houston.

She is on a touring holiday at the moment and in Santa Fe.

It is her Birthday today, so I set about 7sun05creating a message for her.

Hope she has a fabulous day.

Got the ablutions done and went down to the lobby to meet Duncan when he arrives.

No sooner had I arrived there, and Duncan pulled up.

7sun06aDuncan was wearing his Robertson Tartan kilt, and I was so happy to see him approaching the foyer door, I nearly burst out with loud ‘Yahoo!’

Greetings and we went up to the flat, some of the female residents showing interest in Dunc’s kilt, or that area, as we passed them. Hehe!

A cup of tea was made between the chatting and my finding out how he was going and what he was getting up to, in general.

Dunc soon sorted out what needed attention and started with the printer, he soon had it working, and we did a test page. Smashing!

After many hours investigating ways to try to get CorelDraw to let me view the files on loading or viewing. Dunc got into Windows and changed some settings, but that didn’t work.

He then got on the web and searched methodically for advice tips etc. on various sites. He tried a couple, but they did not work either.

After hours of searching and frustration, Dunc got into the Control Panel and tried in there to get it solved.

A welcome break and another cuppa and I gave Dunc his pressies, and we talked about (Well, I interviewed him) things other than computer related. Glad to find he is still in an arrangement shall we say, with Diana, his recently adopted lady friend.

I’m glad to report that he has taken to retirement like a duck to water and is so happy! Great!

Back to the grindstone, trying to get Coreldraw to view graphics – what a mammoth and frustrating job this is turning out to be. I told him I’d tried the 7sun07advice I found on the Helpline page of CorelDraw, and this did not solve the problem (Obviously). We tried it again, lengthy procedure, we had to find the CorelDraw suite in Control Panel, click to Remove or Adjust, then after a few selections to choose from, including options for ‘Repair or Modify’ I chose Repair, we ran it. But it made no changes.

Duncan tried a few more things that I didn’t understand, a bit technical these were.

Still, no success and Duncan was getting frustrated and tired too now. Bless him and his efforts for me.

We tried the Control Panel thingy again, this time I chose the Modify option. I think I cried with joy… Success!

I could have kissed Duncan but thought better of it. He’s a big lad yer know, Hehe!

Over the moon, thanked Dunc’ the lad and then I had to ask him to watch over me again while I try once more to get the new Cash card to be accepted by Morrisons so I could order some fodder. He also read the small print on the bank’s letters out to me.

Then he patiently watched resisting laughing each time I made an error, and we soon had the card accepted by Morrisons.

What a mate I have!

Walked a weary Duncan back to his car, had a natter, thanked him again and off home, he went. A long drive ahead of him, and all to help me out. I felt humbled.

Back to the flat, and sorted out an order from Morrisons, to be delivered Wednesday 2nd November twixt 0730>0830hrs. Put this on the Google Diary straight away.

I was mentally shattered now, I bet Duncan is too. After all, that hassle and bother sorting me out. Got the meal going, nothing too complicated, I was too 7sun08drained to bother with anything fancy that needed proper cooking.

I did meat dumplings, and potato farls in the oven, with seasoned baked beans, and a packet of sweet potato crisps – the crisps were uneatable, though, Urgh!

Had the evening medications with it and a glass of tomato juice.

The plan from here on was to settle in the £300 second-hand recliner chair and watch some TV – this didn’t happen. I fell asleep within minutes of turning on the goggle-box…

Inchcock Today Saturday 29th October 2016: Computerisationing nearly all day long

I came across this Poem while searching for something else this morning. I thought it was so gentle, and unpretentious; I’d like to share it with you all.

6sat01

Saturday 29th October 2016

In Norwegian: Lørdag 29 Oktober 2016

Awake, wide awake, at 0400hrs, out of the rickety £300 second-hand recliner chair and to the wetroom porcelain for a painful and bloody WRHD session. Not a good start I thought?

Anne Gyna and Roger Reflux had both decided to give me some stabbing gip this morning. By the time I was out of the WC, a new pain had developed on the top left-hand side of the chest, never had this one before. Worra start eh? After the great health day yesterday too. Tsk!

Medications were taken, along with an extra painkiller and ulcer juice.

Got the washing collated and in the bag to go down to the laundry room. In the washer and back up to do some WordPressing. Half an hour later and down again to move the clobber into the dryer. Roger Reflux and Anne Gyna both going along with me. Back up the lift and on the computer again.

0545hrs, back down and collected the dried washing, cleaned the filter and up a final time and stored the things away.

Took some more anti-ulcer medicine and another pain-killer, only an extra 30g Codeine, don’t want to take any diamorphine, although I’ll see how it goes. Not had pain like this for a long time. Yesterday I woke up feeling free and so happy with the ailments all giving me a break, this morning they seem to be in an irritable Let’s-give-the-old-fart a bad- time mood. Even the toes were painful now? Hehehe! Still, Arthur Itis appears to be losing interest in my knees and ankles a bit. Why he wanted to attack my wrists, I don’t know, but I rubbed in some Phorpain gel that seemed to have done the trick within half an hour.

Many WRWWs again this morning, but that’s nothing new.

0700hrs: Cleaned the micro-fibre cloth and scolded the back on my hand: I was not surprised in the least. Collected the empty glass jars, pickled egg, ulcer medicine bottle and a pickled mushroom container. I thought it would be a good idea to have nip down and out of the lobby and a hobble down to the recycling bins with them, and try to take a photograph in the dark outside.

Got down into the reception area and decided it would be best if I go back up to the flat and collect the camera! So I did. What a Wally I am!

Up to number 72, got the camera and down again and out down to the end of Chestnut Walk to the recycling bins.

6sat02

 6sat03

6sat06All done by 0730hrs. I enjoyed the little amble, nobody else about at all. Plenty of lights on at many flat windows mind.

Not windy or too cold either.

It had been raining earlier; I worked this out by seeing rain on the roads and bins you know. Hehehe

The toes were aching a bit, but Arthur Itis was still sociable with my knees and ankles bless him.

I can’t understand how the chest pains seemed to evanesce then return when I got back to the apartment? Any suggestions please doctors? Haha!

Started to update this diary and do some pathetic graphics, pathetic; due to my not being able to import certain formats of pictures. Tsk!

n-janetSeven and a half hours later, I’d managed to do eleven graphics for the TFZers site.

This photograph is of the first one done on the right.

There were so much more that I wanted to do, but the hassle of CorelDRAW not working properly was driving me mad.Even after

Even after I’d reloaded an old version in the foolish hopes that this might work. Lost a lot of time there too.

6sat08Opened Facebook and posted each one to the TFZers gallery. Then did some regular Facebooking.

Getting many messages I must ask Duncan about when he visits. They all confuse me a bit, especially the orange exclamation marks?

Must get the ablutions done soon.

6sat07Sorted the medication pots out for the week. Took tonight’s dose.

Got the dumplings in the oven.

Then got on with the ablutions, a good shave with only two cuts, Colgate Gelled the teggies that bled a bit, a great scrub under the shower Hehe!

And into the jammies and got the meal finished off! Well, that was the plan, but I’d forgotten to turn on the oven earlier. So I turned it on now and potted around as it warmed sufficiently, then put the cheesy buttered mashed potatoes and dumplings back in the oven. Tsk!

6sat09Finally, it was ready.

Crock-pot vegetables, cheesy mashed potatoes, tomatoes and the meat filled dumplings.

A bit of BBQ sauce (Overdid that, lost control of my squirt, Haha!) and a Cox’s apple and vanilla imitation cream dessert to follow.

The dumplings looked pale and insipid; that’s why I suppose they tasted tasteless? Shame. I ate it all, though, just hope the dumplings don’t aggravate the ulcer or reflux valve. Not complaining now, though, apart from the old Duo Denal ulcer the ailments were all calming down now.

Not the foggiest what meat was inside of them? But it didn’t taste bad, it’s just that it didn’t taste of anything much? As opposed to the cheese filled ones at least.

Looking forward to seeing Duncan tomorrow.

Washed up the things, and on settling to watch some gogglebox programmes, the nodding off started.

Hey-ho!
