After a night of being chased dreams, I woke around 0600hrs and climbed out of the non-working £300 second-hand recliner chair and off for a WRHD session. Not an easy one, maybe the cheese I had with the quiche last night?
Laptop on and made a right mess of my idea for a funny post and gave up. Got yesterday’s Dairy finished off and published.
Made a brew and took the medications, had a WRWW and Arthur Itis was giving the knees some jip! All the walking in the rain yesterday, perhaps?
Checked emails then went on Facebook and CorelDraw, for too many hours.
Got the mixed vegetables on the boil. Anya potatoes in the saucepans and peas and mushrooms cooking in the Crock-Pot.
Did some email checking and decided to get the ablutions done, then sort out the clothes for the Nottingham Hospice Charity Shop.
Had a carbolicalisationing session in the shower, only cut my chin twice shaving (Getting flabby around the gills now yer know, hehe), forgot to clean me teggies so went back in and did so. Popped on the scales, but let’s not go into that. Ahem!
Had a walk into Sherwood and forgot to take the camera with me. Tsk! Took the walking stick, but when I got close to the Nottingham Hospice Charity shop, the right leg was terribly painful. I waited at the bus stop and returned to the flats.
When I was waiting, I noticed that I’d taken the wrong bag with me anyway! ![]()
Two other tenants were there, and they didn’t hold the lift for me as I lagged behind a little. Humph, swines! Fair enough really, they might well have been in desperate need after their time out shopping, and wanting to use the Porcelain themselves. Hehe!
Turned the potatoes up a bit, and Crock-Pot on high. Had a WRWW session, laptop on and updated this hogwash.
Called on Olive, she was in great form and twinkling! A talk laugh and cuddle and I returned to number 72 and added some lamb gravy granules to the vegetables.
Feeling a bit down suddenly, no rhyme or reason for this as far as I could tell?
I hate it when this happens.
For some reason, I had a search around for the brown missing new belt and the brown umbrella. No luck.
Got some graphics collated to work on later.
Got the fodder served up in the bowl and tucked into it.
Got the seasoning right this time and the lamb flavour came through nicely too.
I did nibble some nuts later. That sounded healthy, didn’t it? I have to admit they were chocolate covered nuts. Shame mode adopted!
I chose some TV to watch, but the nodding off sessions became rampant, and I gave up to get off to sleep properly… Of course, I couldn’t. Tsk!

0525hrs: Woke, and lay there thinking about the dreams I’d had. Not a lot of detail, but the trend and mood of them seemed clear. In a factory, being chased again, school being bullied, using the old STfm computer and running for election as World President demanding freedom for tea bags and we must all use wooden spoons to stir the brew or something like that?
0600hrs: Instant notification from the bowels that I need a WRHD visit. The £300 Second-Hand recliner worked perfectly to release me, and the session did not go well. Took a good while and it a painful. No blood, though, thankfully this time.
Took an extra Senna with the medications and made a cuppa. Got on with the CorelDraw (Which unfortunately froze and I lost no end of work) to make some graphics for later use.
Did an order for Morrisons adding some Quiches.
Updated the diary, nowt much on Monday’s so I’ll do a double with today’s combined.
Had a good carbolicalisationing shower. Changed and out to the bus stop. No one else in site.
Arrived in Arnold uneventfully and went into Asda (Walmart) and got the Tenants camera photo’s done. Then did a bit of shopping while they were processed. I meant to get some Lemon frizzles, but foolishly selected Lemon Cheesecakes by mistake Huh! Got a TV paper, Irish Batch bread and some cashews.
Collected the photographs. Here is a couple of them:

Out of the Asda shop and a wonder through the Fulton’s Store. Got some small tins of chicken meat sausages, and a pack of four battered fish cakes.
Hobbled up to the High Street bus stop, to wait for the L9 bus near the car park.

I noticed how neatly someone had parked the Asda shopping trolley? Haha!
Back at the flats, I called on Olive, but she was not in. Sob!
Got into number 72, put the bread in the freezer and tins away in the cupboard and took the medications and updated this diary.
Got the fodder ready:
Battered fish cakes, Anya potatoes, blue cheese, pickle salad, beetroots, pickled eggs, gherkin, and red and yellow tomatoes.
Had the Surimi Royale, delectably sweet and tasty it was too!
No bread. Followed with a banana and apple along with the mini pot of Lemon Cheesecake.
A slight involuntary emission of the wind from the rear end when I was clearing up in the kitchen and… Phwoar! I think the ends of the kitchen rolls turned up! Hehe!
Planned the TV viewing, and no falling asleep or nodding off at all. In fact, I had a hell of a job sleeping at all, it must have been well into the early hours before I drifted off.

throat is so much easier too, now. Arthur Itis no bother, Duo Denal no bother, Hernia Harry not bad at all. Rea Flux and Anne Giner were letting know they were there, but generally, I was feeling good, so good I stayed up.
The kitchen sink that the emergency plumber had sorted out for me, was working okay.
Heavy rain was descending when I got down the lift and outside.
When we reached the Newstead Abbey bus stop, the weather seemed to brighten up a touch.
Back to the bus station via the Market Place.
He had lived in Sweden for many years and told me about the ice and snow they have to contend with.
Got the rather heavily seasoned nosh served up. Buffalo wings, pulled pork on BBQ sauce with baked beans, and no bread, but I did have two rice cakes.
0420hrs: Up and out of the now working once again £300 second-hand recliner and off for a WRHD, not so bad this morning, no bleeding and a lot easier.
Checked this weekend on the Goggle Calendar. Mustn’t forget the Doctor in the morning, and the Foot First Chiropodist on Saturday morning.
Warden Deana rang the fancy ‘I only wanna be with you’ (Dusty Springfield) tune on the door bell. (Anyone calling to see me, please feel free to press the door alarm button several times, I love the song.) Hehe!
Got the food on. Tonight it would be mild Chilli Con Carne, vegetables and chips, with black bean sauce.

Another hour or so and the plumber arrived. He looked at the situation and went down to his van to get another of the black pipe units and returned.
I cleaned up the area. Then back on the laptop and did a Birthday graphic for Marissa Bergen. Took me many hours to get it something like I wanted it to.
Shame that means getting a bus and tram to get there, and the same to get back. Hey-ho! Oh no, it doesn’t! It’s at the City Hospital, innit? So I can walk there and catch a bus back almost to the flats! Great that. Providing I’m in a decent state regarding Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis and the weather is okay, it’ll not be too bad at all hobbling there. Most of the route is downhill going as well.
I reckon if I leave the flats for about 0700hrs, or maybe a little earlier, say 0630hrs to be safe, I should get there for around 0800hrs, the opening time for the Phlebotomy Dept.
Got the meal prepared and on the plate.
Observed the hand written note that I’d left next under Koala Katie to remind me of the INR blood test and call at the chemists for my prescriptions.
As I walked down Winchester Hill, a sorrowful sight was beheld:
WRWW, and got the meal cooking. I tried one of the tomatoes I’d bought at Asda, Lancashire grown Tomkin Tomatoes they were called, an odd nobbly rugose shaped.
WRHD session (Again).
Got the fodder prepared.
The weather was glorious.
Into the pound shop Pound Shop and got some cooked bacon. Then over the walkway into Victoria Shopping Centre (Mall).
covered cashew nuts.
I was feeling good as I entered the foyer, but when I got around to where the lifts are, though… Flipping ‘eck!
On the 7th floor, I had to stop for a few minutes for a rest.
The cheesy potatoes came out looking good, but the taste buds had not returned to their usual appreciative mode yet, but it went down rather better than the last two meals did.
Ate the meal watching a DVD called ‘Golden Years – Grand Theft OAP’, it was one of the best British comedy films I’ve ever seen.
I checked the Google diary afterwards, to see what I’d have on next week.
Decided to get the vegetables on the go for later. In the Crock-Pot, leeks mushrooms, fresh garden peas and yellow peppers.
The Morrisons delivery arrived and had to be sorted.
Where I had yet another WRHD (Wet Room Heavy Duty) session.

called in the Market to get some nuts. Took a photo of interest as I was over the roadway. In the distance, I spied the flashing blue lights of an emergency vehicle and zoomed in with the camera to investigate. Note the cyclist just about to pass the car?
Then out into the busy streets and over into Trinity Square, where I spotted some stuff in the used jewellery shop window, that I thought might appeal to the TFZer ladies, so I took a photograph.
Walked down through the City Centre on my way to try the stationery store on Exchange Walk for the Protection Stamp.
Caught the number 40 back to near the flat. As the bus pulled off, there were four people all looking at their phones at the same time, and I thought this scene if I got a photograph of them, would be of use for a humorous graphic. But the bus stopped to let them cross before I got the camera out. Ass we moved on, another lady on her own was on her phone, so that had to do for me idea for a funny shot. but I couldn’t think of anything to write on it.
As the darkness began to fall, I noticed the wonderful red/orange glow from the sun’s decline from the kitchen window.
food in stock. Minced lamb and potato ready meal. Colcannon potatoes, yellow tomatoes, beetroot and marmite rice cake, followed by the last of the short dated honey yoghourts.
0218hrs: Got the washing ready and went down
to the laundry room to get the washer going.I checked the filter on the dryer, and it was right clogged up!
I looked in my daily bag but could not see my pound shop floppy hat. After a short search, I realised that I’d given it to my Australian pet, Koala Katie to look after. No luck in the search for my expensive wind-proof umbrella, though. Tsk!
Got a good ablutioning done, during which a Whoopsiedangleplop occurred. Well, a dizzy spell I think, but it was a quick one. One minute I was getting the shaving tackle sorted for use, then found myself on the floor with a bruised cheek and tiny little cuts on my face. Probably caused by whatever I hit on the way down to the floor where I was wounded and confused I soon came round and with the help of the sink, got up again. Might I have a shiner in the morning? Hehe!
Got the fodder cooking, not that I felt hungry at the time.
As I was getting the medications out to take, I recalled a bit more of the dreams, no idea how or why.
Set it on rotating header mode, so it comes up at random with the other headers I’ve done before. The nurse on it is the actual nurse from the surgery. An excellent sport and beautiful gal too!
too quickly – a big difference compared to Lidl, where I think the staff are trained to scowl, sneer and overcharge me.
Walking back down Woodthorpe Road, left into Sherwood Vale, right into Mapperley Rise and on through Chestnut Walk to the flats, I noticed this bush or whatever it is, next to some blackberries in scrubland coming through the fencing. Wondered what they were, if I remember, I’ll show this photograph to Olive when I get to see her next, I think she might know what they are called.

BJ arrived, and Bill was there with us. No Eddie today nor Toni, at the start. We knew Eddie had an appointment and would not be here, and Toni bless her got here a few minutes before the end of the session, but the organisers gladly made her a cuppa, I gave her some nibbles and we had a chat.
Thin on the ground today, but those who could manage to get to the meeting seemed to enjoy it.
To the bus stop and the vandalised bench.
The meal and medications were taken, with some Tomato Juice, a banana and a naughty Strawberry Sundae.
