Inchcock Today – Friday 20th April 2018: Busy Whoopsiedangleplop Day!

Friday 20th April 2018

Lao: ວັນສຸກທີ່ 20 ເມສາ 2018

0335hrs: I woke up, initially full of apanthropinisation, a reversal of the brain’s general confusion, worrying and fearing everything whatever came into it. As a rule, I’d lay there fretting about whatever and searching for something to puzzle over, speculate about, weigh up or be scared of. Often resulting in dysania. But not this morning. At least not for long, the inner panic and sense of failure would soon return. Not yet though, for I unceremoniously arose, with the stomach grumbling away and Duodenal Donald giving me gip and found myself in the kitchen doing the Health Checks with no memory of my getting there.

As I was putting the kettle on, I caught my frightful reflection in the window. The face had the Spotty-Muldoon blotches again, like yesterday morning, although not so aggressively this time?

I wondered if it might be the tiny insects nibbling at me, as they flood into the flat through the holes and cracks in the walls that had not been plastered yet? Or was it something to do with nerves? Either way, the panicky, fearful-of-life mode returned, and anything to fret over came into my poor tortured brain again. The visitation from the apanthropinisation had ended. I enjoyed those few minutes of freedom from concerns.

Back to my regular ‘Getting worked up, get in a fluster, get overwrought, be on tenterhooks’ modus operandi and philosophy. Humph!

Off for a wee-wee.

Then, when I went to attach the sphygmomanometer, I found the Nurse Ann donated blood-taking scar on the arm, had turned into a right looking mess. Next time  I see her, this will be my fault of course. I made a brew and did the Health Checks.

The sys was up a tad, the pulse gone down a bit, but the calefaction remains somewhat high, but physically I felt alright in myself. I’d best not mention the mental aspects of how I feel. Hehe!

Off for a wee-wee.

Got the computer going, it started alright today. Sorted the photographs to use. Started off this diary.

Then went to finalise the Thursday post. Got it sent off. Did some WordPress Reading, then a few comments to reply to and make.

Changed all the things from the heavy coat to the sleeveless multi-pocketed one. I expect to get sarcastic comments about still wearing such a lot of clothing mind.

Got the ablutionalisationing and medicationalisationing tended to. Surprise, no bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harold at all, and only the tiniest bit from the lesion. Hurray and yippee!

Set off on my mission to get some Liquid Paraffin, for the plates-of-meat and picker-upper. Out through the maze and along Chestnut Walk to the cabin to await the bus.

I took this rather picturesque shot of the flats with the new build in the centre. Coming on in leaps and bounds now, the Extra Care block is.

Warm out there. But I have to wear long sleeves and keep a hat on in the sunshine. Else the skin cancer gets worse, and it affects the Warfarin level a lot.

Got in the hut, and it was soon filled with tenants. I had a smile, laugh and chattering session or two, with the others.

I did, ask expected, receive a sarcastic, “Ain’t yo warm in all that bloody gear?” I calmly pointed out that the skin cancer affects me badly in this weather, I have to keep the sun off of myself – Why does this bother you then?” He wasn’t bothered and just said “Oh!” sneered at me giving the up & down stare and left. I departed to join the smoker-residents outside when the bus arrived. I had a go at the crossword book, and did reasonably well on it, en route.

I got off and poddled to the Wilko store and had a look around for some Liquid Paraffin (At least I think that is the name of it.) I came out worse off financially, but no paraffin available. It appears the yar going to stop selling their own label softener and granules. Shame! I love the scent of these products. However, I thought the sign said they had reduced them down £1 a pot, so I got three while I could. I also purchased a packet of sweet almonds, citrus aerosol sprays and some small Milky Bars for the nibble-box.

Paid the lady on the till and went out to search for the paraffin and picker-upper.

The Nottinghamians were out in force today. Presumably to get the sunshine while it lasts.

The beggars, street musician, Big Issue sellers and even a few of the imitation Police Officers were spotted. With their hands in their pockets or chatting away with members of the opposite sex mostly! Hehe!

I noticed amongst the shopper, many of the old folk were dressed like I was.

Then I called in the Poundland Store, to see if they had any of the things I was looking for. Of course, they had not, but I did come out having spent a bit there too. They had some large bottles of the Zoflora Citrus disinfectant at £2. Which is cheaper than those at Morrisons (£2.69) and Asda (£2.59). So I bought one. And another two citrus air sprays, 2 for a quid.

I made my way towards the slab square.

Calling in three different shops in search of a new picker-upper to replace the broken one I fell on having my last nasty dizzy spell last week.

I had no luck at all. I’ll have to get to see Penny and ask her when she is going to Derby, I’d like to go with her. Then I can have the pleasure of her company and have a look in the disabled shop in the Eagle shopping mall for the picker-upper.

I cut through Climber Street into the slab square.

The corner where a gang of mock-musicians usually locate themselves in a closed down shop doorway, a young man was playing the keyboard. (Well, I think that’s what it’s called anyway). As I approached, I spotted several mugs of takeaway coffee behind one of his speakers and thought, well, at least he can’t be doing too bad then. On my turning the corner, there were three other blokes. One with an upturned Industrial Cleaner tub. And two more toying with… well, I don’t know it was. But they had more speakers, and I think what a bass-booster, attached to the instruments. They were sharing what to me, looked like a suspiciously long and thick roll-up. Haha!

Eventually, I got to the City Centre Square. And, I took a few photographs of the Nottingham students, unemployed, shop-lifters, alcoholics, potential muggers, two-imitation police officers, takeaway food delivery pavement cyclists, the stink from the eight coffee shops in sight, TWOC convicted metal thieves, addicts. Going bankrupt shop staff having a fag and selling products from the shop to the students (Cheaply, mind), and pick-pockets enjoying the sunshine. (Hehe, only joking… I think!)

Up Queen Street to the bus stop. Some more Nottingham Street Art on the bench.

The L9 arrived, and I got on along with one other bloke. At the first stop along, where regularly, I would expect several of the flats tenants to get on the bus, there was only one gal, Norma I think.

We couldn’t have a gossip, cause she at far away on the side-saddle seats with her deadly four-wheeled shopping trolley. Hehe.

We got off at the flats and had a jolly-good chinwag and laugh as we made our way back to the beautiful uncladded, filthy windowed, draughty, holes-in-the-walls, noisy, messy, in-a-right-state, full of agitated people, Woodthorpe Court apartments.

Norma got out of the lift on the 4th floor, said our farewells, and I got to my little assaulted by Willmott-Dixon attackers, dwelling.

When I got in the flat, took a wee-wee, got the kettle on and realised I’d forgotten to put the crock-pot on when I left. So, the potatoes will not be ready for hours!  Huh!

Then I checked the receipt for the things I’d bought. The Wilko one showed £15.80 spent! The fragrance granules were £2.50 each, not £1 as I had thought. What a Shlimazel! And, the bottom item showed up as being for: Wilko Functional Food 30p – not the foggiest idea what that was?

The banging, then drilling, then back to grinding and banging noises welcomed me home. But thankfully not for too long. No idea where they were emanating from, except they were coming from somewhere above. The hot weather for the Willmott-Dixon lads must be about as welcome as it is to me. The poor souls will out in the blazing sunshine sweating pints when they have to work outside up on the hoists. They must be busier than ever with the new build as well.

Got updating this diary. Took me four hours to get up to here. I’m getting tired again, the concentration was not high now.

I went to do the Health Checks and checked on the potatoes. The spuds were done, so I put some grated cheese on the potato cakes and got them in the oven.

Set the timer and went back to turn off the computer. The view with the bird poo on the glass, is not bothering me as much tonight?

The alarm reminded me, and off I went to get the meal sorted. These victuals went down nicely indeed. A worthy 8.4/10 rating. The bland taste of the Morrisons Extra Mature cheddar was a disappointment, though.

I got the pots washed and had a wee-wee. Did a bit of medicating here and there.

Last Health checks were belatedly done. Medications were taken.

Got another mug of fresh orange juice and took this photo of the skyline through the kitchen window. I don’t understand why, but the Clint Eastwood film, ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ came to mind.

Off for yet another wee-wee. I must remember to mention this to the quack, Dr Vindla.

It seemed to be getting warmer in the flat, and I rolled up the jammie bottoms and got down settled to watch some TV.

I noticed that the legs had started to go wonky again. One bigger (More retained water) than the other.

After taking this shot of my limbs, as I was returning the camera to the Ottoman, it slipped, and I had to grab it quickly to prevent it falling and getting damaged. In doing so, I knocked over the mug of orange juice, the tray with the pen and notepad and the tube of Phorpain gel… and the camera still fell to the floor along with the other things! Fool! I got things cleaned and sorted-out, it took me a long while to get done. Mainly, because of the struggle to get back up from the floor each time that I bent down! Hehe!

After what seems a day or two, I finished the pottering and got down again to watch the ‘Hustle’ episode on the TV. Just in time to see the closing credits rolling. Humph!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 15th March 2018: Depressing day

Thursday 15th March 2018

Russian: Четверг, 15 марта 2018 года

0000hrs: Woke up with a medley of confused thoughts about what needed doing today. Morrisons, Social, Dentist… no, that’s been moved to next week I think. Fire meeting, Upgrading meeting, GUM Clinic and I need the Porcelain Throne!

The farcical folderol of getting out of the £300 second-hand recliner was even more of a travail than yesterday, thanks to Arthur Itis and Hippy Hilda. Once perpendicular but tottering a tad, I went off to the wet room.

The Dia-limit tablets had appeared to do the job of steadying down Trotsky Terence somewhat. But the fat torpedo that evacuated seemed to have torn off the tops of most of the haemorrhoids en route, and the blood flowed. Leaving me with some beautiful red splatter patterns to clean up. Hehe!

To the kitchen to do the Health Checks.

Took the meds with water, a brew of tea and to the computer.

Computer started, and I checked the diary and calendar for things needing attention today. I thought of Jenny and hoped she had got her internet back on. I regret not being able to help her with this last night.

Made a start on this post up to here, then saved it and started to finalise yesterdays diary. Got it sorted and done by 0220hrs.

Went on to the WordPress Reader. Some great stuff on today.

Pondered on the tasks ahead. Morrison Delivery 0630>0730hrs, Social Hour 1000hrs, Fire Meeting 12.30hrs, the GUM Clinic… oh no, that’s been cancelled now, to be rearranged again.

0300hrs: Tried Facebooking.

On CorelDrawing. There are the results:

Bit more prep work on CorelDraw.

Did the ablutions earlier than usual.

Made a brew and took the photographs below from the kitchen window to the left then the right. Sprinkling with rain at the time.

0630hrs: Expecting the Morrison delivery within the next hour. Did some more CorelDrawing while I was waiting.

The Morrison man arrived, nice chap he was, carried the stuff through to the kitchen for me. I seem to have a lot of things again? Tsk! The fridge and freezer were soon full up, cram-packed again.

Gawd, the noise seemed to be coming from everywhere with the windows being done so close by to me.

Got it put away and made another brew, had a wee-wee and made the order up for Morrisons for next week. Collected up the raffle prizes and nibble box and set off out to the Obergruppenfuress Warden Hut for the Social Hour.

Had a job to get a lift, with the workmen and deliverymen moving furniture and stuff into Norman’s old flat, for the new tenants. Whoever they are.

They took their things out, and I got into the lift.

Much mess on the floor again, gonna be a headache for the poor old caretaker.

I noticed that a beetle was back for a visit, no signs of its mate, though.

Jenny’s Frank was in the foyer on his way out. We left together, but he then speeded up like Superman, leaving me in his wake, as he almost jogged to the cabin.

A few spots of rain fell.

Not too many folks in there today. But sounded boisterous and happy.

I gave Wardens Deana and Julie their usual Polish sourdough loaf, then made a bee-line for Jenny, to ask how her internet connection was. She told me that the workmen doing the outside of the building had cut the cable wire! But they (Virgin Media) had been out and got it going again now. That pleased me. The being reconnected I mean, not the workers severing the wire! Blimey, these works are causing some hassle for us old people!

Jenny handed me the nibble box I’d forgotten to collect. BJ was in attendance, Bill (William on Sundays), John and me sat at the same table. I handed round the newly stocked from my carrier bag of nibbles.

Bought some raffle tickets and handed them out to a couple of the girls.

Ended up doing the crossword book, until it was time to depart. I checked with Jenny to make sure this Fire Session at the shed, started at 1230hrs. (I’d be lost without Jenny’s help!)

I left, and Frank was going my way, this time he left me in his wake again, going in the opposite direction. Hehe!

The rain was now persistent, but very fine.

I got a feeling via my EQ that the rest of the day held some not good things for me. I’m rarely wrong with these senses and emotions, you know. The plates-of-meat and Arthur Itis were a tad bothersome.

Got in the flat and had a wee-wee.

1125hrs: Just over an hour to go before I have to go out again to the meeting. I got in the lift and up to the apartment. Getting out of the elevator, I could see the moving folks were still hard at it getting the furniture into Norman’s old flat. RIP Norman.

Had a wee-wee. Made a brew and did the Health Checks.

I got the computer on to update this diary.

Spent the rest of the available time on CorelDrawing updates.

A bloke from Nottingham City Homes called from the Fire Regulation and Procedure questionnaire.

I see that Obergruppenfurheress Warden Deana did forget to advise them on the possibility that I a will not be available. See, I knew this would happen, the old EQ told me. A good man. I joked that this is the second time that Warden Deana had forgotten about me and let me down! Said with a stern look on my face. Then I broke into a smile and added; Fortunately, the 250 other times she has helped me was okay! That broke the ice with him straight away. Did the survey and he asked about my wooden Jamaica plaque on top of the heater. I told him it was from a mate years ago who I worked with, he bought it for me on his way back from a holiday back in Kingston. He pointed out where his Mam and Dad are now and used to live. But he didn’t have time for a proper chinwag. Bade him farewell and got ready to go to the meeting.

I walked up to the cabin in the drizzle.

All hectic with the builders and lorries delivering stuff to them.

I pressed on and got to the hut, to find it jam-packed with residents, Fire Brigade Officers and NCH staff.

So many voices all going on at the same time, I got myself in a pickle trying to hear and understand what folks were saying. Jenny asked if I wanted a drink, thanked her and declined. I linked up with a group of people that Cindy was with, one lady offered me her seat, bless her. Later we all went over to Winchester Court to look at an empty flat that had got the Sprinkler system already installed, on the third floor.

But it was hopeless with so many voices again rattling away. I explained to Cindy that I was leaving and going back to the flat, and why. The hearing aids do not work in these conditions, and if I took them out, things would not be any better. Hopefully, she will explain to the others for me.

I departed, no one missed me. When I got in the foyer, the two Wardens were talking to people, and I did want to butt in, so I walked passed them. I don’t think they noticed me. They must be mega-busy with all the task on at the moment.

I felt a little despondent.

The noise from the builders above me inside somewhere was driving me potty, but it is necessary. The drilling din from outside was not as bad now, they were working on the floor below.

I got the oven warming up and prepared the Cumberland Pie. Added some of the Red Leicester red cheese on top of the pie and sliced some mini tomatoes onto it as well. I might add the last two potato cakes to have with it.

Got the computer on to update this diary again. Did this, then turned off the computer and got the pie with trimmings into the oven.

Checked the TV programmes. I don’t know why, for as sure as MPs fiddle their expenses, I’ll only fall asleep, and have little if any chance of staying wake up to 19100hrs to watch the Hustle episodes. This and the feeling that I am an odd one out with the hearing problems, and having to leave the others and miss the help day, depressed me an iota. Well, a fair bit, really.

Cause of the weight problem, I had less on the plate tonight. Cumberland pie, cheese and tomatoes added, two potato cakes and some sliced red onion, I did have two slices of bread with it.

Tasty! I tried to eat it slowly, to masticate correctly and feel full fed.

Got the TV on. Farcical! Fell asleep shortly afterwards.

Kept waking-up, during which during one, I saw the red light on the landline phone flashing. Struggled out of the £300 second-hand recliner, thinking it might be the surgery with the next appointment for the blood test. It was Brother-in-law Pete. For some reason, I had not sent a link to the Inchcock Today to either him or Jane and he was concerned if I was alright. Kind, that.

Washed the pots, then. Head down once more, and had horrendous dreams, of which I can recall no details. Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 1st February 2018: Oh, dearie me!

Thursday 1st February 2018

Swahili: Alhamisi 1 Februari 2018

0003hrs: I woke with a start, the mind filled with the tasks and jobs that needed doing today. For a few moments, a sense or feeling that I had athanasy came over me – I was pondering over whether this was a real feeling or had I died and wanted to be waking up in the recliner, all very confusing. A right mess in my mind, an imbroglio of nonsensical hogwash of dreams, desires, fears and worries tumbled around for a few moments.

I came out of this mind-adventure trip the moment I stabbed myself in the bottom when I moved to extricate my mass from the £300 second-hand recliner; somehow, I’d left the fork from last nights meal on the chair, finding it when I moved!?!? Hahaha! Wot a Plonka! Still, no blood this time.

Once out of the recliner, I threw away the bent fork and straight to getting the washing bag with the things needed and down to the laundry room.

A selection of screw-in light bulbs and a pair of trousers had been left on the table in the foyer. A sign of those we have lost from our building since Christmas to the Grim Reaper, having their old flats sorted out. Being a softy, I spent a little time picturing Norman, Eddie, May and Brenda in my mind, and with good memories of each one enjoyed. I think the names are right, but the thoughts are what matter.

Got the machine going and back up to the apartment. Got the Health Checks and medications completed.

No shakes or dizzies this morning, looking good.

Down again, and got the clothes moved into the drier. Had a sweep around and tried to remove some of the dried on like concrete soap powder from the input drawers. I might take a grinder with me next time. Haha!

0105hrs: Back in the flat. Finished off the Wednesday post and made a start on this one.

0145hrs: Down to collect the clothing from the drier. I nipped out through the foyer doors to see what the weather was like.

It was wet again, of course!

Took the things out, folded them and into the bag. Had a sweep around, cleaned the filter, outer casing and sink.

Felt a little stirring of a developing rumble and grumble from the innards.

As I arrived with the bag at the lift doors, I noticed a new sizeable colourful poster had been put up on the wall to the right of the official notice boards.

Not a good idea to tell us, old tenants that the future is ours, is it? Hehe! And, if any of us had put a poster on the wall other than on the notice board, it would have been removed, and if they found out who had done it, a rollicking may have ensued.

What a construction taster workshop means, I don’t understand. But, I do believe that people should be allowed to follow their own path. And, if it (This meeting) helps build up understanding and tolerance, that is a good thing.

Up and to the Porcelain Throne. Messy again! But Harold’s Haemorrhoids although painful, were not bleeding at all.

0330hrs: Went to WordPress Reader. Checked out the comments next. Then Facebooking.

Checked calendar for today.

0800hrs > 0900: Morrison Delivery

0830hrs > 1430: Alarm technician to sort the Strobe calling

1000hrs > 1100hrs: Winwood Social Hour: No chance of getting to it of course, with the NCH making appointments for today. Grumph!

1230hrs > 1700hrs: Heater to be moved in the kitchen.

A busy day is waiting.

Ablutions were done. Had a jolly-good stand-up wash, teggies done, shaved and medicalisationing session. Took the bins to the chute and the Morrison man delivered the fodder.

Updated this post. On CorelDraw graphicalisationing, and doing a humorous ode for posting to WordPress.

1100hrs: Alarm man from Nottingham, City Homes – fit new one of each. All done by 1120hrs. Thanked him and off he shot. Fingers crossed, this will stop the false activations from now on. All this, thanks to Jenny.

1121hrs: Nottingham City Home electrician. Moved heater, oh dearie me!

The chap who called said he had only come to do a minutes work on the electric panel.

I said I thought he’d come to move the radiator in the kitchen. He kindly decided to do the ‘moving’ for me then, and he set about doing the job.

It looks awful in there now. I’ll have to get someone to do the floor again and fill in the holes and paint the walls.

As the rules stand, I’ll have to get permission from Nottingham City Homes to get whoever I do find certificated and granted. Thank heavens, I have Jenny to ask for advice.

I was well pleased with these jobs getting done reasonably early in the day. Because the weather looked perfect for getting some ‘Moody’ photographs taken, on my trip to the Aldi store to get some of their Special Lemon Curd yoghourts, which I no have the time to get done. I can bus up and walk back to get the pictures.

Did the Health Checks and med’s and I hurriedly got ready. Popped into the Obergruppenfureress Wardens Shed on the way out. Spoke with Jenny’s other half Frank and some residents at the bus stop.

Caught the L9 City Bound bus up to Mapperley top and went to the Aldi store.

Where the customary overspending took place.

When I left the shop, the sun was in the perfect position for me to attempt some ‘Moody’ shots…

Oh dear… I’d remembered to take the camera but had left the flipping SD card in the computer at home. Forgetting the SD card earlier had made me feel so disgusted with myself!

Walked back down Winchester Street Hill. The wind had got up suddenly, very strong. So much so, I thought it was going to blow me back up the hill! Hehe!

As I reached the flats, there were many potential photo opportunities of the builders compound with a long articulated lorry struggling to reverse through the gates with Health & Safety Officers assisting. All lost, because this idiot forgot his SD card. What a Plonka!

As I got into the flat, I found two pieces of mail had been delivered. One for a Mr William Wills, which I will mark and return, and one for me about; The Installations of Sprinklers, Public Address Systems and Intercoms in my block.

Just what we need, more hassle noise and disruption. We’ve had six months of the upgrading of the tower and flats so far. And, we have an estimated further eight months to go with this until it is finished, now this new rigmarole we have to cope with.

Not that I don’t understand why, with the unfortunate souls at Grenfell tragedy. The letter got in a Political Meme come message: “The Government indicated following the Grenfell disaster that it would provide financial support to Councils for safety measures. Unfortunately, no support has been provided.”

I got the nosh ready. Beef in Black Bean sauce with trimmings, French fries, egg rice, sugar snap peas, sliced apple, tomatoes and two slices of Scottish Plain bread. And, guiltily… the cream cakes. (Head down in shame!)

Settled in the £300 second-hand recliner, TV on, nodded off in seconds I think.

Dreaming something about my old cat, Cyril and lost best mate Jock, and I sprang awake.

The landline was ringing… well I could see the flashing light; struggled out of the chair and answered. Someone wanting to talk to Mrs Freckle? I informed the caller no one of that name lives here.

This call got the grey-cells churning over. The earlier letter to Mr William Wills, this request for Mrs Freckle, mail for Margaret the previous tenant etc. I then wondered, how many souls had passed-away in this flat? Been here since 1964, so there must be a few. I think there might be a block up in heaven waiting for us join the others. Be nice to see Norman, May, Eddie and them all again. Just a semi-morbid fun thought with a twinge of mourning!

I remembered I had not taken the evening med’s or done the Health Checks. So I got up and did them.

Got back in the recliner and was soon off to sleep. Surprisingly really, cause the brain-box was galloping away uncontrollably on its own chosen path at the time.

TTFN all.

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 2nd January 2018: Mayhem Day

Tuesday 2nd January 2018

0150hrs: The body stirred, and waited patiently for the reluctant brain to activate. As far as I could tell, only Hippy Hilda was giving me any pain worthy of mention at this stage. When the grey-cells joined me, I was having difficulty in the disponibility of my thoughts, plans, worries and fears.

There lingered a sense that I had been dreaming and wanted to recall it. But no memories and no scribbled notes on the now crumpled notepad I found between my fluid-filled thighs and the £300 second-hand recliner. As I moved to manually try to raise the right leg, affected by Hippy Hilda’s determination that I should not do so without excruciating pain. I became aware that the now broken pencil was also down the side of the arm of the chair, and doing its best to lodge its pointed end in my bum!

Bent forward manipulating the leg by the knee, the pencil pressed against the right buttock, I got in a pickle as to how to and what was the best way, to avoid setting off Hilda, and avoiding the splinters of wood from the half-pencil penetrating the skin of my rear end at the same time? I failed entirely in this. The leg fell, and Hilda let me know, and the pencil drew blood as it punctured the fleshy skin.

“A good start this,“ I thought. By 0205hrs (15 minutes from waking-up) I’d managed to get myself perpendicular, in pain, yes, but I was up. Even I had to laugh at myself. Off to the wet room to check things out.

There was only the tiniest speck of blood from the rear-end pencil wound with no pain whatsoever. Hippy Hilda was doused with the Phorpain Gel, and the Porcelain Throne utilised. Messy! Unfortunately, Little Inchy had been bleeding again. I cleaned up the place and me and limped to the kitchen.

Got the kettle on.

Cleaned the pots from last night’s delicious plate of fodder.

Made a strong-brew of Yorkshire tea and then I did the Health Checks, all looking very fine to me this morning. Actually, despite the earl Accifauxpa and Whoopsiedangleplop, I felt surprisingly good at this stage. Even the scepticism drifted from my brain. Mind you, a lot of stuff escapes my mind nowadays, Hehe!

Stuck my head out of the window to see what the weather was like.

Drizzling a bit. But it did not seem as cold as of late, although I felt it was nippy in the flat despite the four heaters all blasting away in a fashion that will upset the Bank Manager.

The vehicles looked parked better, too. This brought to mind that I have an INR blood test to get to for 0930hrs today. No buses till 0930hrs, so hobbling is the only choice. Not that I mind the limping along, for I desperately need to get out and some exercise after being stuck indoors for three days without a bus service to use.

Got the computer going and checked the weather forecast.

It looks like I might get another soaking like the last blood test I went to, it’s gonna rain! Hehe!

Not looking forward to that then. I got on with updating and finishing off the Monday diary, then started on this one up to here.

Then I sorted out the nibbles for the nurses at the Sherrington Park Medical Surgery and the GUM Clinic. Should have plenty of time to get there and beg then have a look at Little Inchy. Oh, I’ll check on the web for the drop-in days… Ah, holidays, no drop-ins this week.

Made sure I’d got the Health Checks lists, mobile phone and camera in the coat pockets, the Anticoagulation Card too.

0700hrs: Ablutions tended to. I pondered on how long it is taking me now, to get the socks on. This, the hobbling and the falling asleep early will possibly result in four-hour days for me soon. Haha!

Set off at around 0830hrs, brolly in the carrier, remembered to take the INR card, gloves, brolly, nibbles, camera and mobile phone with me. Also, I put two empty jars in the bag to drop off at the recycling bin on the way out.

As I exited the flat into the elevator area, there were four workmen with parts of some old heaters working there. I greeted them with a genuinely cheery “You’re doing a good job lads!” Three ignored me and one cast a glance in my direction that said: “Silly old fart!” with a practised degrading-casting look up and down my torso. I’d say almost up to the Lidl staffs standard, but not quite.

I got in the lift and down to the foyer. Tenant Roy was having a fag near the doors, and as usual, he did not have his hearing aids in. Since I’ve been in residence here, this had turned up some humorous exchanges – but I think this one takes is the most confusing. Me: “Morning, Roy, everything okay mate?” Roy: “No, she had a shower!” Hehe!

Although I didn’t realise it at the time, I waddled off down the road wondering what it might have been that he thought I had said, and forgot to drop the glass off at the bin.

The Obergruppenfurheresses Portacabin was still locked up when I passed, and the site was jam-packed with new workmen putting out parking cones and moving heaters from the compound to various flats.

I did notice that the external work to the balconies and windows was still on hold.

All bare of bodies on the hoists and scaffolding on this dark, dank and miserable morning.

I expect the Wildlife Preservation people will call sometime today about the bats?

I pressed on along to the end of the road and turned right down Winchester Street Hill.

Where I had a bit of a struggle, with the foot that sticks out and carrying the heavy bag, to get through between a lorry and the fencing. He had apparently parked up to await a timed delivery to Willmott-Brown?

Onward down the hill and I cut through a road.

There was a small squirrel on a low wall, who didn’t seem bothered when I got out the camera and zoomed in on him or her.

The moment I went to press the button, he was off like lightning flash. Hehehe!

I thought squirrels hibernated? No doubt I’m getting all confused again with some other creature or other.

Up the slow gradient on Mansfield Road and over the crest, down towards Carrington.

Arthur Itis and Hippy Hilda both in a decent mood with me at the moment. Only Anne Gyna to worry about for now.

From a distance, I spotted a van parked on the pavement. I hoped it would be moved by the time I got down to it.

As I approached the vehicle, a man came out of the garden, gave me a good stare, and got it and started the engine.

He pulled out onto the road crossing three lanes of traffic and getting some horns blown at him in response to his dangerous driving.

As he passed me, he shouted something to me, but I don’t know what it was he said. I did understand the sign language he used, though. Naughty!

Aha, a clear pavement to plod along to the surgery on.

But, is that a Nottingham Pavement Cyclist I see in the distance heading my way? It is!

I took a risk in photographing this rather large cyclist.

He was totally unimpressed with my actions, nearly hit me on my right side as he sped past. He even said “Morning” to me as I was doing my best to get out of his way. And with a cheeky grin on his face. At least I think he said “Morning” to me. You never know do you, it might have been something else he said? Hehe!

I got to the surgery and went to register with the receptionist, who was busy on the phone.

So I got a prescription form filled in for Little Inchies Daktacort cream while I waited.

I think I might have had a funny turn then. Because I sat down and got the crossword book out, and the lady asked me what it was I wanted earlier? Blown if I could remember asking her anything?

Within minutes my beloved Nurse Nichole came out to collect me.

As she was taking the blood, Dr Vindla came in and asked me why I had put Codeines on the request form. I could not remember doing this. Further proof of the likelihood that I’d had a funny turn. Yet at the back of my mind, I thought there might have been something else I’d asked for? She departed, giving me looks of suspicion and distrust. Nurse Nichole had a chinwag and laugh after she had gone, and I gave her the bag of nibbles. The Doctor returned, and we spoke about Hippy Hilda and Little Inchy. She is to send appointments to me when she gets them, for the GUM Clinic about Inchy, and the City Hospital about Hippy Hilda. She handed me the prescription for the cream. I said my thanks and farewells and departed. With Nichole’s feature firmly in my head and foibles.

Its been a hectic and busy day so far. Irritations and memory losses, been attacked and insulted, nearly knocked over and glared at. Hehehe!

I took the prescription to the chemist and got it filled. Then hobbled to the Lidl store. I should have known better really. I bought three cheesy cobs, Lime & Mandarin yoghourts and some cheese slices. Foolishly I used the self-serve checkouts. Where I have never done without a problem and had to summon unwilling help every time I’ve used them! Today was no exception. Having got only five items to scan, I thought, At last, success! The bill was precisely three pound. I put in a £2 and £1 coin. And the pound coin kept getting ejected, five times!

There were two Lidl trained experts gossiping nearby. I asked for help. One of them ignored me totally, the other tossed-up his head as if to say, “What?” He deemed it fit to meander over to me, and using all the Lidl staff training expertise, said “Huh!”. I told him about the coin being rejected, and this man actually used real words to me. “I’ll Gerrit changed fer yer!” He won’t last long at Lidl like that. Haha! He returned and threw a £1 coin into the tray and said, “There ya!” and wandered off to resume his natter with his mate.

Out to the bus stop and waited for one to arrive. I was dropping off in Sherwood minutes later. Boy, could that driver drive!

As I alighted the bus, I had to walk around some Nottingham Street Art in and outside the shelter.

Kebab and chips, I think?

A sad sight a few yards up the hill on my way to the Pelican lights.

So, we had a new cafe opened and two more units closed down in Sherwood this week!

Over the road, and into the Wilko Store. Where I invested 90p in a nail brush and sponge. ♫ Hey, Big Spender ♫.

Out and up the road, and called in the Card Shop, no, Card Warehouse it’s called. To see if they had 2018 diaries on offer.

Ended up getting one laid out like the one I bought last month. But much more substantial, meaning that writing and reading will be a lot easier, and just 50p more than the little one.

Something else to sort out now. Must get all the details transferred from the old one into it.

Out and up to the bus stop. Had about ten minutes to wait for an L9 bus. The rain started to drizzle, but I got myself under the shelter in the corner.

Although it doesn’t show well in the photograph I took of it, but there came all at the same time, seven buses!

Never known that before.

As these cleared, the home-bound L9 arrived.

In minutes I was getting off at Chestnut Grove, home at last.

A lot of workers but not many tenants about as I walked to the foyer.

I got in and had a wee-wee and put the Daktacort cream away ready for later in the wet room.

Had a wash and got the cheesy cobs out ready for having later with some smoked bacon. Mmm!

Got the computer going to update this post.

What a confusing, annoying and angry-making farce! I’d done up to here on it, and for some reason, it would not save! I ended up losing it all from where I left the flat! Grrr! Humph and Globdangerations!

I had to contact WordPress helpline. No idea what they were saying, or instead, telling me to. Kept losing contact with them. What a shambles!

Spent well over an hour with them and eventually after moving and trying Chrome instead of Firefox, it came back on. Still not Working on Firefox though.

Then I had to redo it all again! Gnash!

Just finished it up to here now.

Feeling worn-out and confused, I got the cobs and bacon served up.

Found pieces of stuff in the fridge that was at the end of their use-by-dates and piled them on the plate.

Ate at most, 30% of it.

Atrocious. 3/10 rating. Might have been all the hassle over the WordPress mess that had put me off?

Herbert at it again with the knocking tapping and scraping noises, but not for so long or frequent today.

Got the TV on, but for the duration of my so-called viewing, I spent far longer nodded off than awake.

Remembered I’d not took the medications or done the Health Checks, so I fought off the tiredness, battled to get out of the recliner and did them.

Don’t recall much else, so I must have got down and nodded off.

What a busy, mayhem Whoopsiedangleplop, poorly making and wearying day!

Inchcock Today – Monday 17th July 2017

Monday 17th July 2017

Gujarati: સોમવાર 17 જુલાઇ 2017

Kept waking-up on and off all night long, not a very good rest at all. Many wee-wees.

0415hrs: Gave up and rose out of the £300 second-hand recliner and off to the Porcelain Throne. There was no bleeding this morning from Haemorrhoid Harold’s department. Looks good. (The fool says too early? Hehe!)

To the kitchen and had a peep out of the window and took a picture for no particular reason… Well, there was one at the time, but I had forgotten what it was by the time I got around to doing this diary and putting the photographicalisation into this Inchock Today.

Hehe! Tsk!

Carried out the Health Checks, took the morning medications and had a wee.

Had a wee-wee.

Set about doing the readings chart for last week.  I’ve got the CDH checks in the morning with I hope, Nurse Nichole, of course, it might be Gruppenführeress Nurse Ann who does me. Shudder! Must remember not to eat or drink anything but water from 2200hrs tonight until the checks are done.

While I thought of it writing this, I made up the nibble bags and put them in the carrier ready for the morning.

Started on doing this diary then finalising yesterdays.

Emails, the WordPress reading.

0700hrs: On to Facebooking.

0805hrs: Started the ablutions, because I want to get out and take some of the strange buildings of the University, photographicalisations on my way to the hospital.

Had good scrubbing up session, got the things needed and set off to the bus stop. A Sunny morning and a laugh or two with the other tenants while waiting. Chinwag with the gal from the 11th floor en route.

Dropped off near Victoria Centre (Mall) and poddled around the corner to the 35 bus stop.

As I turned the corner, a naughty Nottingham Pavement Cyclist rode his bike between the gentleman walking towards me and the shop window, Tsk!

I enjoyed the lambasting the rider got from him.

He (The cyclist), was on a Pizza Delivery mission I think.

Caught the bus and was soon on the 4th floor of the QMC. I was in done and out within fifteen minutes. All clear.

Nice limp in the beautiful weather to Triumph Road and the first building of interest was the old laundry.

Not used for many years now, but amazingly they are still trying to rent it out?

The first University building on my right was the one that burnt down when they were building it last year and had to be done again from scratch. The young arsonists, despite being caught on CCTV were never apprehended.

The fancy and oddly designed pair next was further on the left on a bend in the road.

Odd in every way.

I wonder if they cost more to design and build than none-ugly buildings do?

Some of the cladding sections were hanging off.?

It said on a notice sign that the Chinese Government had contributed to the cost of the furthest one?

Opposite these an engineering section building.

A student pavement cyclist nearly had me when I stopped to take this photograph…

And a minute later another one actually caught my arm as he belted by!

Huh!

This building that crossed over the road looked a little like a modern day Berlin Bunker to me.

Do they set out to just surprise people with their rather childlike designs?

Or do they honestly think they are attractive in some way?

The Energy Technologies building didn’t look so bad as the others, I thought.

Of course, I am no expert.

I passed one of the many cafes built for the students and was surprised to see big names (Don’t laugh, I’ll remember them soon) operating there. The Coffee one that is in green lettering was there, and a franchise for the… erm, Subway, that’s the one. It did not look like they any discounts for the kids judging by the price list I saw.

Towards the end of the road, a sad sight indeed. The old Players Cigarettes Factory. It looked from a distance as if they were cleaning it up, but not so.

Demolishing it they were. All those years ago when I went with Dad on his lorry and we would call there to deliver and pick up empties. The smell of the fresh tobacco all around, the hundreds of people employed there, always busy… Ah, well.

On the corner of Ilkeston Road, I spotted these flowers and wondered what they were.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen any like this before, ever.

They were huge and grew wild and through the fencing.

The area where they are is still banned from being used for building as it is the site of the old Gas Works.

More memories flooded back to me.

The original gas works had two or three gasometers as I recall, I think anyway.

Although in this old photograph I found, only one is in view.

I think the others were further down the road.

Pulled down in about 1959 I think, or maybe a few years later.

The smell produced at these works was not unpleasant to me, but some folks didn’t like it. The real benefit was the coal used left us with almost smokeless coke to use in our fire grates, and it was cheaper than the coal to buy.

I turned right onto Ilkeston Road and up over the railway bridge, which of course, nowadays as no track running underneath it, more sad memories as I walked where the old Railway Station used to be.

Another Nottingham Pavement Cyclist nearly hit me again.

Humph!

Over the hill and a little further I saw a Lidl Store and decided to have a pop in and a gander at anything they have on offer. The first obstacle was getting down the flipping steps to it. Hehe!

I came out £10 worse-off and struggled with the now heavy bag with the Vegetarian Frikadellens, stone baked rolls, Belly pork and nibbles for the meeting, nurse Nichole and Sister Jane, to the bus stop a few hundred yards up the hill.

On a little further and was soon in the City Centre, the feet aching a bit now, and Duodenal Donald poking at me.

Off the bus and along Clumber Street on my way to Tesco in the City Centre’s Victoria Shopping Mall.

Had a nosey around Smiths stationers but didn’t buy anything. Another wander around the biscuit shop but didn’t buy anything.

Into the Tesco store and got some fresh garden peas, New Zealand Cox’s apples, smoked bacon, English vine tomatoes… and, erm… do you know, a packet of two Fresh Cream Horns Cakes jumped right into my basket all of their own accords… Sorry!

Limped along with the heavy than ever bag now to the bus stop.

Back at the apartments, chatted to a tenant on the way up, and got to the door and there was Mary’s door bell delivered while I was out (Of course).

Had a wee-wee.

The phone rang. It was a lady from Specsavers. And, I take my hat off to her. She managed with considerable expertise and a cunning choice of words, involving deflection, inflexion and accusation while keeping a level tone, to make me apologise for their mistake. Brilliant! She should consider going into Government. Her timing so perfect it prevented my getting in with any comments, then of course, by the time she steadied up verbally, I’d forgotten what I was going to say anyway.

Too much credit could not be given to the woman’s performance. Her avoidance of expressing any apology, just saying it should not have happened, and wouldn’t have if I had not called in the shop too early, was classic Joseph Goebbels at his best.

It seems that I have an appointment for tomorrow morning anyway, to have them fitted and be shown how things work, for 1030hrs. With the CHH checks at 0930hrs, I think I’ll have time to get there punctually. I hope! Bet she makes me look a right Inisitijitty tomorrow.

Put the fodder away and went to Mary’s flat, all proud of being able to help some out at last. Whoopsiedangleplop! I got the bell fitted, and it worked, then the lady in the next flat came out – each time our bell was pressed it rang… her’s did too! Oh, dearie me!

I disengaged the bell, put it back in the box, and we had a laughed about this – not the lady next door though. She scowled and grumbled non-stop, bless her. I’ll give this one to someone to use and get another, different type for Mary later. Tsk!

At least I got a photograph of Mary’s love birds in their cage so I can show it to TFZer Marie from Australia.

Noisy little varmints they are.

Never seen any of these before.

They looked a bit like large Budgerigars, with more substantial squawk too. Haha!

Got some peas in the saucepan and the food in the oven. Having the other Tuscan Sausage & Mash in a delicious tomato and fennel sauce. The first one I tried revealed that the sausages, well, the skins were horribly thick and almost unchewable. So I threw them away and put some vegetarian sausage in place of them. Plan to make some caramelised gravy to it afterwards with the mushrooms and peas so I can soak it up with the stone baked cobs.

Updated this diary to here.

Half an hour or so to go. Checked the Emails and did some WordPress reading in a rush.

Got the fodder served up.

Unfortunately, I forgot to put the peas and mushrooms on the dish. Huh! But I enjoyed them later cold from a pot.

Very nice indeed. Made a mess eating it with the crumbs from the stone-baked cobs, though, Humph!

Made a note to remind me of things in the morning.

Rang Sister Jane for a chinwag.

Did my best to watch some TV. But it was ridden with my dropping off asleep and waking so often. It seemed like it was every ten minutes or so.

I gave up and got me head down early, apart from getting up once for a wee-wee and treating Haemorrhoid Harold’s bleeding, I slept right through until 0400hrs!

TTFN all.

Inchcock Today – Sunday 11th June 2017: Horrible day, felt a right Eedle-Doddle!

Sunday 11th June 2017

Malay: Ahad 11 Jun 2017

0435hrs: Greeted by Duodenal Donald as I woke and lay there doing my best to recall the dreams, but only vague memories of a dustbin lorry and giant live jelly babies walking the streets, lingered? No idea!

Disentangled me from the £300 economy second-hand recliner ASAP and off to the Porcelain Throne for a heavy duty evacuation session. A lot easier again this morning. The cut I got shaving yesterday had stopped bleeding leaving a beautiful pattern of blood in the shape of a question mark on and down the cheek to the neck. (Just thought I’d mention it like, Hehe!)

I noticed how grotty the wetroom floor looked. So I got the second mop and bucket out and gave it a good scrub up. I have two mops and buckets you know? I bought the expensive rotating to dry the head one cause it looked easy to use (As it turned out it was far easier to stub my toe on as it happens). Found it did not work on the knobbly floor of the wetroom and had to buy another.

Returned to the chair and again, there were signs of ‘Tidbit Nibbling Activity’ overnight, Again! Crumbs, empty crisp packet, vine tomato stems… Tsk!

Into the kitchen and viewed the murky morning outside.

It soon cleared up and the sun started to break through.

Spotted where I’d been at the tomatoes overnight.

Took the medications, made a mug of tea and got the tablet pots sorted out for next week.

Health Checks completed, all looking good apart from the increase in pulse and the weight!

Got the peas and potatoes in the saucepan and added water and vegetable seasoning for them to soak until ready to be boiled.

Had a wee-wee and got the computer on and started the diary updating to here.

Posted yesterday’s off, then did some WordPress reading.

Onto Facebooking then.

Duodenal Donald keeping on bothering me and for no reason a sudden depression hit me? I feel terribly low, no gusto, no interest… Oh dear.

I’ll make an early meal, see if that cheers me up.

Although the fodder tasted nice, the spirits did not improve at all.

A fatigue of sorts dawned after gobbling up the meal.

A shadow, a curtain, a genuine tiredeness, weariness, drained. Felt a right Eedle-doddle, as the Scots would say. (Always loved this phrase)

Hence, I did nothing but watch the TV and dose off, watch the TV then dose off… for the rest of the day and night.

Felt awful when I sprang awake many hours later to find it was not even time to go to bed yet?

Very odd, pointless, confusing, uselessness, worrying, a semi-obliviousness day of vague nothingness? Hehe!

Inchcock – Friday 19th May 2017: Incorporating The Nuclear Shaving Wound Accifauxpa. Hehe!

Friday 19th May 2017

Japanese: 金曜日2017年5月19日

0350hrs: Up and feeling lively. Might be cheered at the faith and appreciation of help being given me by a complete stranger with the Google Chrome problem coming tonight I hope.

Got the washing ready and down to the laundry room with it.

Back up the lift and onto the Porcelain Throne. Only a bit of bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harold. Took the medications and started the computer, fingers crossed. At least I’ve found a way to get the diaries onto Facebook, via the email, that works.

Finished yesterday’s diary and posted it.

Down to move the clothes to the dryer and back up to the twelfth floor to start this one off. Made a graphic for the top of the page. Had an idea to make a funny post, something like Inchcock Party Manifesto? Hopefully, if I can get Chrome sorted and working, I’ll be able to on with it this weekend?

0538hrs: Down to see if the drying had finished in the Laundry Room.

Twas raining outside, and I felt so sorry for the soaking wet milkman.

Checked the dryer machine and the clothes in it were all dried sufficiently.

Cleaned the filter and machine, folded the attire and stacked them in little piles to enable me to put them in the bag so that they need to come out.

Clever or what? Hehe!

Swept the room and back up to the apartment and took a wee-wee as an urgent need.

Kettle on and stored the togs away.

Making a brew afterwards and the sky caught my eye, it looked a bit threatening to me.

When I got back on the computer, I added the last three photos and updated the wording, then had a look at the weather forecast for Nottingham today.

It looks like they were right about it being a wet start to the day.

Remembered I’d not carried out the Health Check List, so I did it. All looked okay to me.

Did some WordPress reading, as soon as I went on the Google email, then Chrome started playing up and not letting me proceed. Humph!

On CorelDraw 2017 and started creating the political party funny graphic. Lost everything I’d done for WordPress when Chrome went unresponsive again.

Closed down the computer and got on with the ablutions. During which I suffered two Whoopsiedangleplop and Accifauxpa incidents.

Made several cuts with the new razor while shaving.

And applied Betamethasone ointment instead of antiseptic cream to the wounds. Twit!

Had to use after-shave in the end to stop the flow.

Then, while taking a good shower, I dropped the Dettol soap and banged my eye on the corner wire trays.

I now have a decent black eye and some more bleeding. Along with Haemorrhoid Harold’s loss of blood on the Porcelain Throne, I don’t think I have much left in me now (Blood). Hehehe!

Part of the scratch looks a little Nuclearish in the photo above to me? As for what shiny thing in the ear-hole is, I’ve no idea! Probably from the flash on the camera? The black bits are the skin cancer, so no fretting about what they are at least.

Made a brew, took the midday medications and updated this old tosh.

I had an email from Duncan. Offering some advice I could follow of what to try with the Google Chrome problem. I’ll give it a go if need be in the morning. Thank’s Dunc.

Did a bit of flat clearing and cleaning.

Put the meal segments into one saucepan to heat up later after the help Chap Sam, calls. Potatoes, turnip chunks, fresh pod peas in the seasoned veg water. Might have some vegetarian sausages or a piece of cod with them I think.

Read some more of the Emotions book.

Did some work to start on another graphic on CorelDraw 2017. Hard work with the browser freezing. Gave up and read the Emotions book.

Did the evening ablutions and Jenny called me, she is bringing up Sam the Tech-Man to take a look at the computer. She introduced the young man, Sam and left.

I explained the problems I was having and showed him the advice that Duncan had sent me asking if he could do this procedure for me. Good idea he said, adding that my mate Duncan was sagacious in his suggestions. The next half hour or so I was totally amazed at what Sam did in cleaning the system. All so fast, he tried to explain what and why he was doing the things. He, as Dunc recommended, went through what I did and didn’t need and got rid of many things. He added CC Cleaner and UBlock and another programme that shows if the channel or page you are on is safe.

He then set-up the laptop for me, loaded CorelDraw onto it and got the internet access sorted and Chrome with the same layout and options onto it as the computer has.

He was very patient with me as I sometimes struggled to understand what was what. Gave me an email address to contact him if any more bother. Thanked and paid the man gladly. Off he went leaving a more hopeful Inchy behind.

Feeling so tired now.

Put a bit of fish and a few potato thingies in the oven to add to the well-cooked-by-now turnips, pod peas and potatoes.

When the fish and vegetables were done, I added them to beetroot, surimi and mushrooms and other vegetables on the plate.

A pot of lemon fool for afters.

Although I really felt drained, I did feel a warm glow of hope that things will go alright on the computer when I investigate the changes in the morning. Too weary to try now.

Did the health checks, took the medications and visited the Porcelain Throne.

As I checked the place, I adopted the Prospectively Harmful Whoopsiedangleplop Overnight Avoidance Routine (PHWOAR) Hehe!

I must try to remember to do this every night from here on in.

Checked the door was locked, lights off, shower power off, not taps running in wetroom or kitchen, nothing left on the cooker, fridge door not open, windows checked and took out any plugs not needed.

The view outside was still looking eerie. As I was taking the photographicalisation, the rain began to splatter on the window.

After eating most of the meal, I got the TV on to watch some selected programmes, didn’t see any of them, but the sleep was welcome indeed.

TTFN folks.

Inchcock – Bank Holiday Monday, 1st May 2017 – No buses!

Bank Holiday Monday, 1st April 2017

Welsh: Llun Gŵyl y Banc, 1 Ebrill, 2017

Didn’t wake until 0535hrs, I must have needed the rest?

Out of the almost scarily shuddering £300 second-hand recliner, kicked a bottle of Spring Water over and off to the Porcelain Throne for a heavy duty session. All went very well, no blood from Haemorrhoid Harold, Little Inchy was not bleeding again (although stinging a bit), Duodenal Donald not bad at all, Anne Gyna ever present lately it seems, but showing less severity than of late, Reflux Roger was calm, Haemorrhoid Harold was not bleeding and Harry Hernia only showing the slightest signs of discontentment. If things stay like this, I’ll be content too. Fingers crossed here.

Applied the creams, lotions and potions where needed.

Then made a nice strong mug of tea and had my breakfast.

Hehe! Well, medications. At first, I thought I’d got the dosages wrong and tried to figure out which tablets/capsules I’d missed off – then realised there was fewer to take, due to the Morphine Sulphate being suspended.

Did the first daily Health-Checks, and finalised the weeks log on Excel. TLhis mornings readings were fine? Sys160, Dia 87, Pulse 85, Temp 33.9, Weight 14.75

All looking fine to me?

I was fauchling things on the keyboard a lot for some reason this morning?

Came across the dream notes from last night when I started doing the diaries. Seems I was having a series of them where I was being interviewed, questioned, interrogated by various personages. Sentences were passed, and I thanked them? A lot of the scribbled notes I couldn’t decipher. But it was apparent that the electric chair and deportation were in there somewhere. I got sent back and had to face the same interrogators I think?

The Morrison delivery arrived. The driver was in a good mood this morning, mostly because it being a Bank Holiday, the traffic was almost non-existent he said.

I put the fodder away, managing almost without any effort, to drop the jar of pickled onions… and it did not break! Fair enough, it hit my knee on the way down, though.

Always concerns and worries me things like this happening. The jar not smashing and no mess to clean up… it’s just not the usual occurrence for me. Hehe!

Went on Facebook to catch-up.Did some graphics for the TFZer site.

Did some graphics for the TFZer site.

A depression came over me suddenly, the darkness and feeling of abandoned hopes arrived so quickly and brutally, I stopped doing anything and just sat feeling sorry for myself and going over all my mistakes, errors and foolish misread intentions I’d done and committed through my life and just could not stop doing this?

It took hours before I could regain some sort of control, but I did, still felt a bitterness towards myself, but coped much better with it, I think.

I actually cheered up a bit after I’d hit my head on the airing cupboard shelve as I dropped the jammies taking them out. Confused and now feeling hungry, I sorted the food out and changed into the nightwear, noticing how terribly white and pale my skin looked tonight? And, the leg’s water retention had almost gone, my chicken legs and dangly arms were back! Hehe!

No wonder the weight was well down yet again on the last of the Health Checks. The pulse was beating away with a venom mind. Tsk!

Got the fodder served up.

Not a lot, but just as well, as I couldn’t eat it all or anywhere near all of it. And, I thought I felt rather hungry earlier too?

Despite this, the stomach rumbled annoyingly afterwards. But Duodenal Donald was kind to me, although persistent, his pains were moderate for once. I cheered a bit at this.

Got some Political pamphlets through the door, local elections this Thursday. Oh, and one for the June General Election too.

They were an amusing read.

Settled to fall asleep watching the gogglebox.

TTFN all.
