WD 250.100.0 03:15hrs. When the brain had gained some equilibrium and logicality, I realised I had been asleep for six, that’s Six Hours! The longest I can remember for years! My first thought was, well I must have needed it! But then I corrected myself – Naughty Inchcock! And simply appreciated getting it for whatever the reason. There you, I can be positive as well as negative, nervous and niggardly. Hehe! No signs of any nocturnal nibbling and the spring water bottle had not even been opened! This should tell me something, but the only message I got from the EQ, was ‘keep calm’ whatever will happen, will. You won’t like it!’ Fine that, even the EQ is toying with me now!

I rose majestically from the Brother-in-Law Pete damaged while he was flat sitting, fitting new CCTC cameras, and searching for my valuables, £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working, uncomfortable, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner, to have a wee-wee. To find the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket) to be completely empty and unused! For a moment or two, I thought I might have got the time wrong again, but no, it was right!

WD 250.100.0 I did see that last night’s medications had found their way to the floor next to the Ottoman. And, this may be inconceivable to anyone not understanding neuralgia problems.

WD 250.100.0 AC I then stubbed the right foot’s toes against the doorstop… and felt hardly anything! In fact, the only bit of pain came from the ankle! I tested the finger-ends when I got in the kitchen, and they were in the same resistant to acknowledge any contact with anything substantial or hard. I was almost sure this was what the EQ was warning me of. It wasn’t as it happens, but more about that later. I knew that doing any artwork or typing was going to be a pain in the neck!

WD 250.100.0 I put the kettle on and took the medications along with last nights, avoiding any duplicating. Then visited the Porcelain Throne. The evacuation was in the same ilk as yesterday. Sit, push gently, squelch, clean up! The f7Sun01ollowing wee-wee lasted for that long, I got the crossword book in action. An ERLRWS (Extremely-Resistant-Long-Reluctant-Weak-Sprinkly) fashion. I’m not sure that much escaped, but what drops did, took an inordinately unreasonably long time.

WD 250.100.0 The pins looked like they had been visited in the night by a graffiti artist, or a clandestine tattooist, perhaps! Haha!

I eventually made the brew and got on with the updating of yesterday’s blog. Which was slow, due to the extremities problems, but the graphicalisationing will be a real test. So, on to CorelDrawing to do the page top and Thoughts adding, and making up the templates.

WD 250.100.0 What a farce is was too! I did some templates up in advance, and made more errors and mistakes that I have ever before!

Jane rang when I was in the middle of s7Sun07orting a big problem out. She was terrific about my rushing things along in our nattering session, bless her.

WD 250.100.0 I checked out through the balcony to see what the weather was doing and saw the stepladders, still awaiting my using them to clean the windows. Phwert!

Then it was time to get Josie’s meal prepared. The mashing up of the potatoes with balsamic vinegar, butter, salt and the cheese, was complicated, with the hands and fingers like they are. I lost count of the times I dropped the fork or spoon. But I persisted with it and got them all done eventually. Not moving from the kitchen, to keep an eye on the safety side of things.

WD 250.100.0 I still can’t find the flaming scissors! A few days now. It’s a mystery!

7Sun02WD 250.100.0 I assembled Josie’s plate, and didn’t realise at the time, I had not put her garden peas on the dish. I hate myself sometimes! (I wondered why Josie’s face didn’t brighten up when I handed her the fodder, now!) Grumph!

WD 250.100.0 I went to delivery it, a few minutes earlier than expected, but no answer from Josie. I worried a bit about this.

I made up and took six bags to the waste chute, using only the stick.

WD 250.100.0 Returned and tried Josie again. No reply! I feared the potatoes would be too cold.

I went back, and got my cheesy potatoes in the oven, then tried Josie’s door chimes again. This time she answered. She’s been in the shower. So much for arranging a time each Sunday. She must have forgotten about it, no problem. At least she was not poorly.

WD 250.100.0 Josie asked as I was returning to the flat, “Are they your scissor?” Pointing to the lost snippers, on the electrical cabinet in the flat’s hallway. It all came back to me! When the cover to the three-wheeler dropped off the other day when I was going out. I went back in and got some tape, and used the scissors to cut it and sticking back on the lid! I’d left them on the box. I do feel a fool!

I set about doing this post when I got in. And realised that the wee-wees were far less today? Although the sensitivity in the nerve endings was less severe, it was still taking me far too long to get things done.

7Sun10aWD 250.100.0 AC Then, the smell of burning cheesy potatoes came through to my nasal passages! Panic! Well, I know I like them well browned off. But this was too much for me! Hahaha!

I’ll have to make some chips to have with the nosh later. Fancy me forgetting something! Gobblethumpski! Oy Vey, what a schlemiel!

It’s getting late on now. I did what I could on the updating of this blog. But things were not good…

The EQ was right, I think. Gave up on the computer.

7Sun34bGot the meal prepped. Not too bad an effort, considering the change of plans from excessively burnt cheesy potatoes, to chips. Hehe!

More than sufficient half-cooked peas, as I ate Josie’s share too. I’m glad I forgot to put them on her platter now. Some of them were rock-hard, other overcooked? I still ate them all, though. Flavour Rating: 6.25!

Did the pots, and settled to watch a Rumpole of the Bailey episode or two on the DVD.

I soon fell asleep.

  1. You need to be careful with words like niggardly. Too many people don’t know what it means, they are too lazy to look it up and assume it’s a variation on the “N” word. People have lost their jobs over using niggardly on this side of the pond. It’s a sad situation we live in with the social justice warriors who are so ignorant they don’t really know what they are warring about.

I think a tomato slicer would be just the thing for you. Save a lot of hassle and cut fingers. Toe stubbing is such a pain. That crispy critter job on the cheesy taters looks edible, but if it was incinerated beyond your liking, that’s understandable. Fate was looking out for you helping you to forget the hard peas for Josie. You ate them like a gentleman, and saved her the trouble of masticating hard peas. Well arranged, low grade dinner.

    • Niggardly? Blimey, what next? But it might be an idea not to use it, if I remember, to avoid the PC Brigade venomousness and attacks. Oh dearie me!
I might have a look for a tomato slicer after tomorrow’s first After-Stroke Physio meeting, Tim. Then again, maybe not, I might and expect to be too tired, and only in need of getting back to bed and sleep. Hehehe!
It when the leg does its jumping, jerking or Neuropathic Schuhplattle Dance routine when most stubs are suffered. Tsk!
I did nibble the softer parts of the cheese while the chips were cooking, mate. But there was precious little of it that was edible. Huh!
Josie had a bit of luck there with the peas. But I gobbled them all up – which didn’t do what few teeth I have left a lot of good, mind. Haha!
Tomorrow might be a problem, with the long session at the Church Hall. Might have to do my blog later on. I’ll see how I feel, tired I should imagine. Hahaha!
      TTFNski, take care.
