Last night’s Sun goes down and with it, my hopes of ever getting the new computer running correctly?
Tuesday 25th October 2016
In Malay: Selasa 25 Oktober 2016
Up and into the porcelain room by 0310hrs. WRHD, no bleeding, no pain and this was a good start to the day. Took the morning medications.
Remembered to do the laundry early. Got the coins, accoutrements and sprayed into the bag. Down to the laundry room and got the washer going on short cycle.
Up to the flat and tried to get the CorelDraw application changed to read and display CDR format on the files. Failed.
Down again to move the clothes into the dryer.
For some reason, the clothes were very wet, much more soaked than usual when I took them out?
Maybe I had overfilled the washer?
Up the lift back to number 72, made a cuppa. WRWW and tried again to get the CorelDRAW X8 reinstalled with options changed. Failed.
Started to update the diaries and overshot the time to go and gather the washing. Popped down to collect and clean the place a bit.
Wiped the surfaces, sprayed the freshener around and took the gear out of the dryer and folded them into the bag. As I was doing this, Roy from the 11th floor arrived to do his washing.
We had a god chinwag and a laugh, put the world to rights and a little mutual moan.
I went back up with my washing and returned down later to give him a photo I’d taken of him on the bus months ago and take the shot above right.
WRWW and had a bash to see if Facebook would allow me to use it. Amazing, apart from freezing twice and telling me that Google Chrome had run out of memory, please restart (Tsk!) it was okay, so I got caught up and enjoyed doing it. Just hope things stay this way for a bit longer.
Got ready, ablutions, etc. and got out to the bus stop for a ride into town and got some of the Surimi prawns from Waitrose and some Sour Dough bread from Tesco. And, if possible to get a moody photograph.
In town, I made my way to Tesco.
Battling limping through the maddening crowds and over the crossing, narrowly avoiding a Pavement Cyclist as he rode over Upper Parliament Street scooting in between and around the unconcerned pedestrians.
Through Victoria Centre (Mall) and got some stuff from Tesco. The most important being the Sour Dough Bread, I’ve actually taken to the taste of this now. Two loaves, one for the freezer. A TV paper, a jar of mushrooms in vinegar, Longlife milk, bacon rashers, cheddar cheese, seafood sticks, an individual beef pie and do you know, it might be hard to believe I understand this, well, it is hard to accept, but a box of two Fresh Cream French Horns fell into the shopping basket on the way around!

Paid the ankle-snapper on the till, and made my way put and through some more crowds of Homo-Sapiens.
Arrived at the Waitrose store, but they had none of the Surami fish in stock for me, but never mind, I was feeling a tad guilty about keeping the Fresh Cream French Horn cakes that unexpectedly fell into my bag anyway. Ahem!
As the sun shone towards me, I took a photograph that I thought might be a moody one.
On Milton Street.
It didn’t turn out too bad do you think?.
I struggled up the hill into Trinity Square and checked the price of the American Jewellery Set I’d photographed the other day and put onto the TFZ site asking if any of the members could guess the value in US Dollars.
AS I turned at the top into the Square proper like, this chappie was puffing on one of the new electronic cigarettes, they don’t half give out some vapour, don’t they?
What next will they blame on E-Vapers. Global Warming?
If you look up both photographs, you’ll see a bloke in the distance smoking one as well. I had a nosey in one of the many Vapour shops in the area. It seems there are many different kinds or types of alternatives on offer.
Blooming fantastic for them I reckon. They even have electronic cigars and pipes too! I assume that the black box one is one that is charging up? They seem to have been taken too in Nottingham, and why not if they taste alright. The flavours are amazing in choice. Here’s just some of them on sale:

Ribena, Lime & Lemon, Blackcurrant, Apple, Coffee, Banana, etc. they even have one here in tobacco flavour?
As I approached the bus stop on Queen Street, I got another shot in that might be considered a moody one?
Or maybe not, though.
Had a lovely chat with a lady at the bus stop, and we carried on on the bus for the whole journey, until she got off of course. Not only did I enjoy listening to her, but it helped to keep me from nodding off. Hehehe!
Took a photograph of the Community Hut/Shed from the bus as we passed it by. It won’t be there much longer, they tell me that is the first thing to get rebuilt in the modernisation procedure over the next three years.
Got in, WRWW, shoes off, kettle on, medications took, food stored away, and started the computer going. Waiting for it to boot up I nipped to see Olive, but she was not in, today must be her Scrabble day.

CorelDraw and Windows took most of the next two hours up, without any progress being made. Still, I can’t view graphics before they load, and a lot of organising still needs to be done with the desktop, the printer I can’t get connected, and messages still appear now and then that can’t understand.
Decided to update this and get the photographs sorted, another two hours were gone.
Got the beef pie and potatoes in the oven cooking away, then I tried Facebooking again, fingers crossed. All going good, some lovely comments again.
Into the nightwear. Took the evening medications.
Went to check on the fodder – Humph! I’d not put the oven on!
Got the oven going then did a bit more Facebooking while it warmed up,
I am a silly old fool!
Beetroot, egg, garden peas, seasoned potatoes, mushrooms and a beef pie I punctured and poured delicious gravy into and then over the potatoes.
A tasty meal, although I made a right mess of the tray, my jammies and chin with the spilt gravy!
Cleaned the cooking pots and settled in the more than ever shaking £300 second-hand recliner to watch some TV. Continual nodding-off sessions until 2100hrs when the film was starting, and into a deep dream-filled sleep; Didn’t even get beyond the introduction bit of the movie.

Tried to get the printer working again, but told I had to download two more apps and register, so I did, it took an hour or more. Epson Photo Print, E-Web Print and recorded again, had to restart each time!

So, I fiddled about and managed to find the elusive email address after several email requests and loss of a large slice of my sanity.
effort?
No. Silly me!
Then I got this email on the right?
Went down to wait for BJ and David in the Foyer at 1220hrs. BJ rang at 1235hrs to say he’s on his way. Went to the end of Chestnut Walk and met them. Both in good spirits, I joined them in the car, and we were off on the way to Papplewick.

Everyone, enjoying themselves so much it seemed, and all took the time to have a natter.

We were soon back in Sherwood, with BJ dropping me off at the flats then taking David home.
The laptop still will not load Facebook?
0435hrs: Sorted the unclean thingies in the bag, accoutrements added, 20p’s in my pocket and down to the laundry room. It looked very clean this morning in there, and I checked on the filter on the dryer, and that had been cleaned too?
Product Features:
Got on with doing the meal.
Took the medications and made a strong mug of ‘Thompson’s’ tea. Then set about and got the Crock-pot vegetables simmering away, had carrots, peas, mushrooms, red onions and parsnips in it today, seasoned with Bisto vegetable and Oregano seasoning.
Started the laptop up.
Checked the dumplings in the Crock-Pot with the veggies.
Then I did a graphic to cheer up Sister Jane and sent it off via email.
Had to get the bus to town.
cebook would not open again?
The evening skyline looked rather nice.
Decided that, as I was up so early, I’d get to the laundry room and sort the washing out. Out of the £300 second-hand wobbly recliner chair and a WRWW had to be done. Got the laundry assembled and off down to the foyer to get them started.
laundry things into their departments in the airing cupboard and on the hooks in the hallway. Hall, I say?
Emails perused and answered. Sent a photo of the measurements of the TV to Pete as requested.
Went down to the bus stop and noticed that the flowers some tenants had planted near the garages over the road, were still trying to battle through and blossom. Nature is marvellous.
Bulwell Market was scarcely used, most folk there were passing by or through it. Not surprising, the stalls all looked bereft of any quality foods.
So through the market and fed the mallards on the Leen river.
Caught the tram, dropping off at Asda-Walmart on Hyson Green, to try and get some of the Nordic Style Bacon again. I was told they are no longer able to get the product! Could have cried, so delicious it was too! Got some Zywiecka, tomatoes, Lamb Hot Pot, TV paper and Polish Potato Dumplings. With heavy bags, I departed and caught the tram into town.
A WRWW, took the medications, made a brew, and got on with preparing the meal. Poached eggs, potatoes, quiche, beetroot, tomatoes and some Polish cooked ham. Got

Near the radiator at the front door! As I took these photographs above, Pete said he thought it was selected by Fooey for the underground hot water pipes. Ah, Fooey, the grumpy-looking but so sweet old thing.
Into the kitchen-diner area and chinwagging commenced. Gave them both their gifts and nibbles and the cats some of the liquid food that they love, Jane limiting me to half a pouch each. (For the cats, not Jane and Pete like.)
Fooey, had some nibbles and returned to his new “Get-Fooey’s-Head-Down-Spot” and had an after lunch wash. His tail looks like an extra leg? Hehe!
Fond farewells and off to catch a bus into town.
Set about planning and getting the meal of the day prepared.
I really got into doing the graphicalisationing then lost the work when the Virgin Media internet went down! Grrr!
Olive was in excellent form and doing well, and as gorgeous as ever! I felt so much better in myself then. The haze of depression had decreased phenomenally, and the enthusiasm returned, so much I felt like I was on some drug or other, released from captivity! I decided I would get a bus to Arnold, try to get some of the cheese twists from the Fulton Foods, and walk all the way back home, calling in B&M in search of curried beans and feed the ducks in Arnot Hill Park.
Where I went in search of the unusual cheese twists… Tsk! I got the last packet.
As I made my way out of the park, I took a different route than normal and came across this it of Agricultural Artwork on the right here.
Out and along the Mansfield Road towards Sherwood.
On to the top and right down passing the Copse, and into view came a sight I didn’t want to see.
thrown out, a large battered fishcake and battered fish fingers were put in the oven. Tin of garden peas in the saucepan, beetroots and tomato sliced, apple peeled, pickled egg on the plate, small banana and the two custard slices with icing on readied.peas
The ankles, feet and knees were still not surprisingly in a bad state and causing me some grief. But Anne Gyna had been good to me considering my foolish decision to walk so far. I checked when I made the Google map trip, it said the travel was 2.40 miles? This surprised me somewhat. I’d have guessed about 1.5 miles maximum? If the Google thing is right, it’s no wonder my plates are still stinging. Hehe!
Woke with a start at 0240hrs. Wide awake! The dreams that were so fresh in my mind had evaporated within seconds. Tsk!
coins needed.
Caught the L8 bus. The rain had stopped again, and the trees looked so wonderful.
Missed the bus back, so limped along Woodborough Road and down Woodthorpe Road. Towards the end of the road, a youth on a four-wheeled mini-bike was belting up and down the road, doing wheelies and circle.
How such a tiny machine could make so much noise, I don’t know. The lad was having a whale of a time. A bit of jealousy crept into my thoughts. Haha!
Turned right down Sherwood Vale hill. I could see the flats in the distance, not my Woodthorpe block, but the Winchester building, mine was to the right, just out of view.
driver gave me a wave and smile.
apartments, there is a path where the greenery that has always caught my attention every time I walk by it. Nothing unusual I know, but years ago the railway line was going along here, and the way the trees and bushes had reclaimed the land had me in admiration of nature once again.
Put the things away and got the meal going, early today.
Had a couple… well, alright then, six chocolate biscuits.
Paid the lady and out and onwards to the Asda-Walmart Store. Passing this window display en route:
Paid the gal at the checkout, and for some reason struggled with carrying the bags out and up the hill to the bus stop? Felt winded, and Arthur Itis was complaining about it. Hehe!
I had a good while to wait for the bus.
eight minutes.
When the bus got to the ring road island, there was no traffic whatsoever about!
What had happened apparently: It was time for swap-over for the bus drivers, and one of the buses had conked out!
Got in and tended to a WRWW, then sorted the purchases out and stored them in their appropriate places. Got the vegetables in the saucepan and simmering away, laptop on for a bash on Facebook, then updated this
Did some CorelDraw X8 graphicalisationing, then got the fodder ready to consummation.
The sky from the kitchen window looked so beautiful, as the evening descended. I say descended, is that the right word?

I found a photograph on the camera that I’d missed off from the Goose Fair Album. Hehe!
My eyes bigger than my stomach tonight.
