Another shortie blog. Luckily, I took some photos, most from the balcony and kitchen window, to help prompt my memory. has been working overtime for the past two days. And a few seizures only helped to warp and confuse things.
I got up at 07:00hrs. It was a struggle to force myself, and a vague feeling woke with me and stayed all day.
Where the heck is my reminder pad sheet for the day gone? The day had a few busy bits in it, I think. And paid far too many visits.

Carer’s Ejaz and Mizra served me today.

Jenny got in touch with a computer man weho saud he should be able to help me with the computer problems. Bless her, she’s so kind. I sent an email to the address given, explaining my problems. No answer yet, but give them time.

The Warfarin DNA blood test was done.

I had three missed calls on my mobile; no numbers showed up.

The Amazon Kagholes and dressing gowns arrived, and I tried one of each on, but the others are in storage.

The quaint battery-operated calendar clock battery ran out, but I didn’t notice, and was overjoyed when I glanced at it, thinking, Ah, I thought it was much later, now I can have a go at the Ode at last. I spent an estimated hour on the Ode, thought I’d have a mug of Glengettie, made it and returned, and saw that the same time was on the clock. I checked on the computer, and it was gone midnight!

Early sky shot.

Mud slide, it was raining again.

Noticed the clock time. Hehe!,
Notice the toothache spray?
I’m nearly out-of-it now.
Better get some more ordered and a letter of apology for the Bank Manager formulated.

Rain and the sun were trying to come out.
A pareidoliaing delight.

These seaweed crisps are okay for me to eat, but the tangy ones are too hard to risk biting into in their current painful, crumbling-away state.
I hope Jenny & Frank might like them. If not, Jenny can pass them on to someone in need.
She is very good at this. 🤎

I’d forgotten about the teggies
and gums. Silly-me.

  1. Anyone would think that carpark was in Wales! Love the ode – left me wondering how many types of dementia there is?

    • I’ll have a look how many are on the web, Paul.
I looked on the Dementia Support page, Paul. They didn’t give a total figure, so I scrolled down one of the five lists of types. Lewy body dementia, Frontotemporal dementia, Atypical Alzheimer’s disease, Corticobasal syndrome (CBS), Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), Cognitive impairment, Posterior cortical atrophy, (?). Counted 42 on that tab. Never heard of many of them. Bet that’s where the Doctor got all my newly named ones from. Hahaha!
Cheers, mate, all the best. ☕or🍺

  2. Dementia is something that many people have to deal with, Gerry. You sure took some great photos and had a nice meal. I hope Tuesday is going well for you. 🙏

    • I’m aware of the problem being shared, and mine is far less severe than many of the people in the flats. They get or can afford a lot more Care than I. So, if I can get in, a Home might be a better option before it gets worse. things are getting worse.
I did it again this morning, and left the catheter bag valve open. I was emptying it when the phone rang so I went to answer it… handling two thing at once is not easy. But at least I am aware afterwards, some poor devils are not. I’ve got the Audio Clinic appointment today, to se if they can solve the hearing aids problem. They always have done in the past bless them.
Getting there and back I’ve a lift sorted and to pay for, which I just realised as I typed this. I’d better sort some cash out. Cheers, Tim, all the bnest.

  3. So many ways to say you’re demented. I agree that adding morbid to the mix is worth feeling insultated. Great photos. The food looks better than the score.

    • Thanks, Tim. The sausages although soft enough for the bad teeth, didn’t have much taste to them. That’s microwave sausages for you. Haha!
