It was so cold out this morning.
I saw a solicitor with his hands in his own pockets!

Sunday 3rd January 2016
Woke I eventually, at gone 0700 hrs! I must have been well shattered to sleep for so long?
Bits of my dreams floated away as I tried to recall them. Made a cuppa and took my morning medications rather later than planned.
Left with a feeling or sense, that they were not pleasant dreams I’d had?
Made a cuppa and took my morning medications with a nice strong cup of tea, rather later than planned mind. Hehe!
Tended to Little Inchy, the neck and shoulders still giving me some bother. Huh!
Got the laptop going and completed the last diary then started this one off.
I did some more Facebooking. Then posted some ‘Bling’ photos for the TFZ gals.
I did a graphic for Sister Jane for her birthday and posted it to her.
No reply yet, no doubt she’ll be giving the plonk most of her attention.
But she rarely has more than three bottles at any one session.
Hehehe!
I checked me Google Calendar to make sure of my first appointment at the GP surgery in the morning. 1000 hrs the nurse and 1015 hrs the doctor.
The rain was coming down in torrents now.
I got the bath water running, had a shave, did my teggies and prepared myself to struggle into the tub – suddenly I espied more work for the Doctor in the morning!
Blotches of blood under the skin on both ankles and part way up the leg?
I didn’t notice them earlier?
Also, some veins on
the top of my legs had turned red?
I bet Dr Vindla will be pleased to see me in the morning, poor woman.
She’ll have Little Inchy to examine, the cut inside my lip to check, the wayward Warfarin blood level to sort out and now these two a well. I will be popular! Hehe!
I had a quick bath and cleaned it up, applied the cream to Little Inchy and pain gelling the knees.
Got dressed, made up the bags of rubbish and put my empty jars in a carrier bag, and took the bags to the rubbish chute. Then went down with the jars to walk to the end of the road and put them in the recycling bin. Getting well wet in the process.
Back to the flat and made a cuppa and took my evening medications while I thought of it like.
The rain had stopped, and gloom came over the view from the kitchen window. For a while, it seemed like everything had gone mono?
For a while, it seemed like everything had gone mono?
Then a mist came down in the distance.
The colour returned after a few minutes; then it started to get dark quickly. For some reason, I thought the Conspiracy Theorists would have a marvellous time with this.
The rain started again. I took my afternoon medications.
I went on Facebook again, then WordPressed for a while.
For nosh tonight: Pork sausages, chestnuts, potato cakes, beetroots and flavoured baked beans.
I used Patti Beckert’s BBQ recipe for marinating the beans. Thanks, Patti!
To follow was mandarins in orange jelly – there was an orange yoghourt as well, but when I opened it, I found it had gone off! Eurgh!
Took me evening medications.
I sat reading my Leningrad book and woke up hours later, still on the chapter I’d started reading.
Thought about getting up to make a cuppa and Zzzz!.
Regrettably I kept catching the patches on one or the other leg/ankle sores and spent more time awake than sleeping – that was until about 0300 hrs when I woke and took another painkiller, then drifted off until 0415 hrs.
Tsk!
No!
There behind it was my precious missing camera!
I dropped off on Mansfield Road in town, the rain barely noticeable, but it kept suddenly going dark and threatening.
Decided to go to catch a bus to Bulwell to see if the B&M store had any of the cheapo Curried beans in stock. Went to the bus stop and caught a number 17 into Bulwell.
The pigeons appreciated the seeds I gave them. Then I moved to the shallow and usually slow moving river Leen to see the mallard ducks.
Caught a bus back into Nottingham and just missed the bus back to the flats. Not another for two hours now, and that will be the last one for the day.
Strolled down Trinity Walk and noticed this first-floor cafe was open, with signs all over the place and thought of Lynton Cox, my mate, so thought I’d post it for him.
I could smell the food from the many restaurants locally, but a bad smell of something decaying was mingled in with these aromas.
Did some Facebooking, and then got me nosh prepared.
Then I perused the notes of the dream I’d made. Took a photo of them.
It was TFZer Linda Novak’s birthday today as well.
motorbike next.
I sat in the lobby, and the frail lady from the 11th floor came down.
I enjoyed a further natter with the lady while waiting.

I espied at a jewellery stall these Amber things, took the photo to post on the Troll Free Site for the girls.
I dropped off the bus on Upper Parliament Street.
I just missed catching the L9 bus, so had an hour to wait for the next one. I had a saunter around the City Centre.
Got the bus in Sherwood to town.
It was a bit of a job getting out uninjured, due to so many shoplifters trying to get in through the same doors, but managed it safely.
A smell greeted me as I left from the other end?
Went across the amusements and down Exchange Walk to the bank.
The bus came in, and we were off – the bus broke down at the next bus-stop.
Got to the Winchester Street bus stop, and the lady got off at the same time. I crossed the road with her, both of us a bit nervous I think.

Back sooner than expected! I was going to go up to the Park via the back of the flats – but it was also muddy I decided to go up the front via the footpath
the flat and get me dinner on..
Instant mash with onions and added cheese granules, beetroot, garden peas, potato cakes and a beef slice.

Got my laundry and things ready and waddled down to the empty and very cold laundry room.
I gave her a bag of chocolate eclairs to nibble, and she told me she was waiting for the woman to bring her a meal and she was a bit bothered because the lady was now coming at 1500hrs instead of 1400hrs. She added that she could have had her meal herself by now from those delivered by the Social Services?
The rain stopped a for a while, and I nipped outside with my camera when I noticed some squirrels out and about.

Caught a bus into town.
The rain turned to big hail stones.
some nibbles that I took for him, and the other cats joined in.
back to town.

Looked at the TV paper and found plenty of good old stuff to watch with my rather larger than originally planned dinner.
