Inchcockski. Tuesday 20th August 2019: All good at the Hospital check-up. Yee-ha!

2019 Aug 20

Tuesday 20th August 2019

01:24hrs. I woke, all calmly, and took a look around for any signs of nocturnal nibbling. I’m glad to report that none were found.  Semi-Smug-Mode-Adopted!

I dismounted the £300, second-hand, not-working-at-the-moment,  grimy, beige-coloured, c1968, rickety recliner. The first thing was a wee-wee, it was another LWDS (Long-Weak-Dribbling-Sprinkling) wee-wee. I took the bucket, a lot fuller this morning, with me to the kitchen and got it cleaned and sanitised.

As I went into the kitchen, I took a photo, and then again with the flash on of roughly the same area. What a difference. With the flash on, you can see the unwanted new light & view-windows, and the foam put in a year ago in the air vent by the Nottingham City Homes bloke. That spewed out after he had gone and dribbled down on the electricity socket. I mentioned it, but no one was interested. It’s too solid to get off. So, there it remains.

The hanging to dry hand-washed jacket was still dripping water. So, I put it in the wet room and left the heater on for a while. Cunning, eh?

I remembered that there is no need for the 07:30hrs visit to the surgery, and this will free up some time to get the Monday blog finished and sent off. Then I pondered on how I should get to the hospital for the Stroke Unit visit. I could walk it, that would be best, getting in some exercise? It’ll take about an hour and a quarter. Or, get on a 40 bus on Winchester Street, and that will drop me off at the City Hospital. Else, an L9 would take me to the other end of the hospital?

No, I’ll walk it. I examined the paperwork to double-check the time and things I have to take with me.

If I leave here by 09.40hrs, it should give me time for the hobble and to find where the place I need to be is. I hope!

From the picture I took of the hospital, it looks closer than it actually is. Of course, this an as-the-crow-flies thing. In reality, the roads to it take a roundabout route.

Still, I’m looking forward to a mini-hobble.

I got the medications taken and made a brew. Then got the computer going to update and finish the Monday diary. But…

The regular fiasco, the Mr (Sod-the-Customers) Fries routine. Turned everything off, tried a restart, to no avail. So everything closed down and rebooted. Huh, failed again. The Liberty-Global bully-boy’s crap router turned off and unplugged. Waited, and restarted it, and hoped for the best, fingers crossed. It came back on, oh, the joy! And pissed-offedness!

I’d had an email, from the surgery from last night. Giving me the new dosages for the INR Warfarin results. The didn’t mention what the level was, but they usually don’t anyway. Why they did not inform me of the change and me no longer having to go into the surgery for it, is beyond me. It made me realise just how kind the CIDP in the leg has been lately. Even the nurse noticed yesterday and said how much better I was moving. I’m taking advantage of this break, and definitely walking to the City Hospital later on now. Why the leg, usually so regular with it’s Neuropathic Schuhplattler (The neuropathic medicine drop kettle dance) routines, was not giving me any? The hands, fingers and shoulder are trying to make up for it, though. Hahaha!

I pressed on with the Monday blog, getting it done after many annoying shoulder-shudders, and the fingers electric-shock imitations tried their best to annoy me. But I got there! Satiety-Status-Adopted!

Made a beginning to this blog, but time-limited my performance, and the ablutions had to be tended to. All went well, no cuts at all shaving! Only two dropsies, the razor and the shower-head. I gathered all the things needed, took the bags to the chute on the way out, and walked through the new passageway into Winwood Court. The exit swipe to the new sitting-outside space was still not working. I mentioned it to Rob, the caretaker.

As I got to the lobby door, I handed some nibbles out in the Warden’s holding-cells. And then;

I’d forgotten to take the paperwork for the hospital. Oy Vey! Back to the flat to collect them.

So, with the paperwork this time, the three-wheeler-walker, in high spirits despite the Whoopsiedangleplop, I set off on a mini-hobble to the City Stroke Unit. The weather was grand, the with hopes high as I followed my prearranged route. Well, I started to, but holes in the ground and roadworks forced minor altercations en route.

Down and out of the flats, and tackled the steep gravel hill opposite the apartments, that lead up to the Woodthorpe Grange Park.

A challenging climb today. But this was the only part of the journey that was any bother.

Apart from getting a little lost at the Nottingham City Hospital. So much had been changed building wise, and what I thought would be reference points on my way to the N5 corridor, proved to have been demolished or rebuilt without access. Ah, well!

I hobbled happily along Magnus Road, Edwards Lane, crossing at the pelican-lights on Valley Road Ring Road and walking back to Edwards Lane to continue my journey.

The difficulties in getting by the roadworks added a lot of time to my journey. But, onwards I pressed, still singing away to myself in the sunshine.

I got to the gate, and in passing the flat car park. I couldn’t see any free spaces.

But at this stage, the grey-cells brought forth City Hospital memories, so many of them, and I pondered over them for ages. The building that was at that time used to handle the post-mortem examinations of patients.

  • Where I went for a job as Trainee, in preparing the bodies for family visits. I was very young and raw, but remember my not understanding some of the questions they put to me. After this, if I went for a job, I tried to find out as much as possible of the business before I applied anywhere. Amazing how such long-gone events come back to you?
  • The building where the did the X-rays and found Duodenal Donald after giving me a barium meal – and forgetting to hand me any chrystals, resulting in two-and-a-half hours on the Throne in agony! That had gone, now part of the Out-Patients new clinics, where I was today!
  • Later I passed the Trent Cardiac Centre, who did the heart operation and memories of the Acute Cardiac Recovery room. Where the Morris ward threw me out with an hours warning, at 05:00hrs in the mornings, and I had to call brother-in-law Pete to collect me. NO Ambulances!
  • Later I tried to find the Newell Stroke Unit ward, to thank and give the staff a treat I had taken with me. But, no! Every person I asked, didn’t know how to get to it?

The mind-wandering stopped when I realised the buildings that were there last time I went in this gate, had gone! The entrance to the North Corridor, was now a  new building altogether, Supplies or something. The way through was so different, with winding narrow roads and areas without footpaths at all! Eventually, I arrived at the halfway and new entrance to the North Corridor. I had to take a long circuitous hobble around a pathway to get the six feet to the doorway, as the six feet were all steep steps!

Finding the Out-patients., was easy enough after the reception, bloke explained it to me. All the way to the end of the centre North passage and I’d find it. On the way, I recognised a corridor, like the one I came out of when calling at the Newell Ward. I tried to locate it, but no luck. It seemed to be a secret.

I returned to the North corridor and soon arrived at the Out-Patients, and asked for Clinic Two. I got there, it was very cramped and narrow. I got sat down as the nurse had indicated I should. She then came for the paperwork. Within a couple of minutes, I was moved down a corridor outside the Doctor S K Raghumathan’s office. I had plenty of time for a go at the crossword book. Not with much success!

I recognised the Doctor’s face straight away as he came out to call me in. Only in there for about 30 minutes. All very low-key stuff, sort of going through the motions. He said he was happy with how things were going, and off I went.

Leaving by the entrance that I’d entered through on the way in. Because I spotted a bus stop as I was going there earlier. Amazingly, a number 40 bus was due to arrive in four-minutes! Good timing, indeed!

I was whisked home, well nearly, I got off on Winchester Street, and walked up to the Winwood Heights complex. That damned seemingly abandoned Mercedes van was still parked there on the pavement! So I had to walk in the road again to get by it. I must try to remember to mention this when I see a policeman… Hahaha!

Whatever am I saying, ‘Me, see a Policeman?’ Hehehe!

As I turned onto Chestnut Way, it looked a sad, lonely place, just one lady with her young one in a pushchair in sight.

The arriving L9 bus passed me on my way back to the flats.

A few of the Winwood Heights resident dismounted, but unfortunately, the ywere long gone by the time I reached them in search of a chinwagging session. I do love a good laugh and natter! And I was in the mood for one! Never mind.

Here’s a snapshot I took of the temporary Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights, Generalfeldmarschallesses Warden’s Temporary HQ. Sarcasm & Insult distribution area. Tenants Socialisationistical Meeting hut. Telling Inchcock off Zone. Where things like crockery and pottery get stolen from, Rumourmongering Clinic, and somewhere to rest while waiting for the bus, Portakabin, once stood! Somehow, after two years or so of seeing it when going out on the bus or a hobble, this is a sad sight. Silly soft-old-fool!

I had an amazingly long MESWW (Marathon-Endless-Sprinkling) wee-wee. Surprising, when you consider how thin and water-retention free the legs are at the moment? Puzzled-Mode-Adopted!

Took the afternoon medications, and set about making a quick, cold, easily prepared meal. Tomatoe (salted) and sliced cooked turkey on milk-loaf sarnies, cheese sticks, a marmite cheese disc, beetroots, Poppit salt & vinegar crisps, and some yoghourt flavoured rice cakes. Which (The rice cakes) were a different brand, Kallø, that I got from Asda and cost less than the Lidl ones. I’m not in the least bit surprised, they were hard and tasteless! Eurgh! I wouldn’t even put them in as a raffle prize for anyone! But, I ate all the rest of it. A taste rating, not including the crap rice-cakes, was 7/10.

As I went to get the washing-up done, it seemed someone was having a fire in the distance. Intentional or accidental. I don’t know. There was nothing on te news, so it might have been a garden fire, perhaps.

I got the hand-washing done and hanging to dry.

Got settled in the ancient recliner, and watched some ‘Heartbeat’ episodes on the goggle-box. Needless to say I nodded off. And woke feeling thirsty like crazy. So I went to replenish the bottle of spring water.

I took a decentish photograph of the wonderful looking sky.

I recall having a right dizzy-spell when returning to the front room. All else, memory-wise has gone off into the ether?

Inchcock Today. Monday 19th August 2019: Good news arrived late-on…honestly! Hehe!

Monday 19th August 2019

Hawaiian: Pōʻalua 19 ʻAukake 2019

23:30hrs. I shot awake, nearly falling off of the chair! I haven’t the foggiest idea why or what caused this to happen. Was it a noise? Had I been dreaming a nightmare? Most annoying that I cannot recall any nocturnal hallucinations this time. Was I, or had I suffered one of my Brain-Storms? I just had to get up to have an investigation into what had instigated this semi-panic, the reason. Which in itself brought a bit of interest and even amusement to me.

I got up quickly enough, caught my balance without any bother, and kicked the flamming GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket) over! My heart sank, and my temper bourgeoned! I was so angry with myself! But, the need to find out what had caused my rude-awaking was more critical at that time. I stood the bucket back up, and in the semi-darkness, I stepped over where I assumed the contents had landed and spread…

And I trod unexpectedly, on a slipper, and slid forward landing on my left knee! The struggle getting back up was almost as absurd, too! Unthinkingly I grabbed hold of the swivel-chair to pull myself upright – and, as the chair, well, swivelled, I ended up back on the floor! Spreadeagled on my back, I was sure I must be lying in the spilt out contents of the bucket. But no! It seems that the GPWWB had not been utilised all night! Genuine laughter was had! Partly encouraged, by my good luck in the bucket not being used, something that does not happen usually! A feeling came to me that things were not so bad, after all. Hehehe!

After putting myself in recovery-mode, I had a walk around to check on things. I put the hearing aids in, and I could hear definite susurruses, humming sort of noise in the hallway. Not that it would have been the cause of the disturbed awakening, though. But I could not trace the origin of it. Nor did I locate any other reason. Tsk!

With my newly aching knee and back, I hobbled to the kitchen. Stopping, for a wee-wee en route. Back to the SGSS (Short-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) type.

I put the kettle on, and then took a photographicalisation of the pins, that were looking good. No bruising on the knee as far as I could see, either. Although it seemed a little more warped again this morning.

Made the brew, and took the medications. Leaving out the Senna and Movicol until after I have had a visit to the Porcelain Throne later, and can work out if there will be any need, for them to be used. It’s sod’s law nowadays, the evacuation may be liquified or rock-solid, there doesn’t seem to be any in-between options lately! I took a picture out of the thick-framed, multi-paned new window, with glass that cannot be reached to be cleaned.

I took the brew with me to the computer and checked to make sure that no liquids were on the carpet. All dry, Phew! But, oh dear, signs of nocturnal nibbling were rife! An empty cheesy curl packet, a couple of sherbert sweets on the recliner, and some suspicious-looking, but unidentifiable crumbs on the tray on the Ottoman! Guilty-Mode-Rubber-Stamped!

I decided to try and take some intentionally taken eerie views of the flat, before it got light. If they come out alright, I might use them as a Thoughts background later.

I got on with updating the Sunday blog. It took such a long time. Thanks to guess-who?

I got it all done and sent off eventually. (Thank you very much indeed Mr [Not fit for purpose], but multi-millionaire Fries!)

I’m tired already, Hehehe! But have to get more templates done in advance. As tomorrow I have two appointments. 07:30hrs, INR and Kidney blood tests. Then I must catch a bus to the City Hospital for the estimated 1>1½ hour, After-Stroke Assessment with Doctor S K Raghunathan and his team. So, I will have no time to get much else done. Busy-busy!

Got the page top graphics and Thoughts done, and made a start on this blog.

With time running short, I got the ablutions tended to. Only one dropsy this morning, the toothbrush. Although, there were many close shaves with the razors.

Got the waste bags readied, and took them with me on the way out, to drop down the chute. Took the recycling jars out and in the bin on the front, and came back in to walk through the new passage to the Winwood Court site. Time for me to pop out to have a sit on the benches outside through a door in the passageway, and have a go at the crossword puzzles, I thought, but no! The green exit button might be on a timer, but it would not work and open the door for me. Mary was going through as well, and I joined her for a natter on the way to the Winwood Courts. Plenty of Woodthorpe Residents in their, Angela and Roy, Mary, Doris and Christine, and Pete joined us. We made our way out through the Winchester Court door and to the bus stop. Quiet a gang amassed, and I managed to hear a little of their gossiping. Much laughter flowed, as well.

Had an entirely failed go the crossword book en route! Arriving in town, and walked down Queen Street to the most untidy and messy looking slab square.

I took a shot of the Red’s True Barbecue window on the way down the hill. Very South Americanish layout inside. Bare wood furniture, dust and dirt in view, the place seemed to be on different levels and all fiddly. Actually, I liked what I saw. But, it would not be possible for me to treat myself, as access would be impossible. Shame, but at least it’ll save me money. Hehehe!

I was hobbling well, no Arthur Itis, no Anne Gyna and no Duodenal Donald bothering me at all. I felt a little lonely. Haha! Through the square and got to the Poundland store on Wheeler Gate. The Nottingham populace seems to be split between those in high spirits and others looking mightily-depressed and gloomy this morning.

The shopping therapy in the shop ensured I kept up this new-found, erm… what’s the word? Semi-contentment, growing from within. And me feeling this, is rare and bloodcurdlingly nerve-racking, almost traumatic! The EQ told me something was coming my way, that was going to be good news! For me, a professional shlimazel and euphobia sufferer, the reception was mixed.

However, I was so proud of myself, when I arrived at the fridge and resisted getting any Pork Farms pork pies that were there, tempting me as they lay innocently, but appetisingly temping on the shelves! (Actually, I did put one in the basket, but returned it as I fought back the tears!) I ended up getting two ready-made sarnies, some Twiglets, waste bags, bleach, Poptastic crisps, Dettol and a bag of salted chocolate pretzels.

I paid at the self-serve till. Put the light stuff in a carrier and hung it on the three-wheeler, the rest in the pathetically tiny shop-bag on the trolley, and set out on m way to photograph some parts of Nottingham City Centre not done before, along with some spot ones.

I started with a picture of St Peter’s Church in the distance and Wheeler Gate. The sun was coming out and then disappearing, odd sort of weather.

I took a view up Exchange Walk towards the slab square. Not many folks about.

I did a 180° turnaround and took a photographicalisation upwards of St Peter’s tower and clock. Being a shaded area, it did not come out too well, but a smidge moody I thought?

After taking the shot, I went a bit giddy for a few seconds, but it didn’t last long. Tsk!

I then walked up St Peter’s Gate, then had a hobble up through the newishly refurbished Flying Horse shopping arcade. Many of the posh shops, art galleries etc. were now closed-down. It was a depressing, sad limp through this so-called high-class arcade. The first empty unit, gone out of business, shop as I entered, was for rent, asking £42,000 per annum! Then there will be rates, electricity etc. poor devils!

The Arcade looked nice and clean. Then again, not many people walked on it! This would have done better in Chelsea or somewhere like that, a death knell, in Nottingham for the traders!

The alterable weather made me think it was going to rain, but it didn’t. The Nottinghamians were still in short supply.

On Cheapside, another closed down store. There were many more, of course. I searched Google to see if I could find the rent being demanded. Wait for it… £75,000 per annum! I make that £1,442 per week! No wonder the retailers are going bankrupt! The end is nigh!

I then did a bit of photographing from the back of the Council House, on High Street and long Row.

I limped up Queen Street and took a shot of Upper Parliament Street, then hobbled back down to the L9 bus stop. No residents got on the bus en route at all!

Soon back at the flats, and I was feeling pretty good for some reason. Mary dropped off the other bus, and we walked back together to Woofthorpe Court. We tried the swipe of door to the seats outside, but it was still not responding to the fob. Mary and I had a natter, got into the lift, Mary off on the first floor, farewells exchanged, and I went up to the twelfth, and into the flat. I knocked on Josie’s door, but no answer.

Knowing that no one was due to call, I had a wash and stripped off. (Good job there are no CCTV in the flat, Hehe!) As I was getting the nosh prepared, the Intercom sprang into life. Luckily I saw it light up, as I was in the hallway at the time. It was Charlene, the beautiful phlebotomy nurse. I was so surprised, with the Sherringham Surgery appointment for blood tests in the morning!

I got the dressing gown on quickly, and Charene came up, and I told her about the appointments. She said she had been told to take extra blood for testing today. She could see I was a little baffled and kindly rang the surgery, to advise them and get advice for me. So, there is no need for my visiting them in the morning at all! Nice of them to inform me! Humph!

I thanked the nurse, and off she flew, like an angel! When she had gone. I realised what the EQ message (something was coming my way, that was going to be good news), I got in the Poundland shop was all about! Now I will some time to do today’s blog finishing, before going to the City Hospital appointment. Great!

I stripped off again and finished preparing the nosh.

I managed to eat a little less tonight. Well, I think I did? All cold stuff. Ready-made sarnies from the Poundland Shop, some of the Extra Strong Red Fox cheese from Morrisons; that is actually bland and almost tasteless! The last two mini pork pies and apple slices, beetroot and a few of the tangy Poptastic crisps.

I washed the pots etcetera, and got the hand-washing done, but forgot to do the socks. Tsk!

Got snuggled down in the £300 second-hand, grotty beige-coloured, c1968, rusty, rickety, recliner to watch a Rumpole of the Bailey on TV… Zzzz!

Inchcockski. Sunday 18th August 2019: A motley hotchpotch of ups and downs!

But I gave it a go further down…

Sunday 18th August 2019

Samoan: Aso Sa 18 Aukuso 2019

The Day that Genghis Khan Died

03:45hrs: What a nightmare that was that I just had! It followed one earlier, about my younger days, with a relative of long ago, in the flat, telling me “Not to bother, failure, pain, and frustration are all that is on the cards for you, youth!” The later one, was a right mixed bag, a ghost or spirit coming out of the clouds and down into the flat, and taking me away with it, up into the sky-shadows and beyond – where a giant underground cave was being used to keep dead souls contained? Lots of other stuff, but this is all that was clear enough for me to remember. Great, I get some much-needed sleep, and it’s filled with nightmares! Lucky or what? Hahaha!

The task of freeing myself from the £300, second-hand, c1968, grotty beige-coloured, not working, rickety recliner, was once again an easy task. No dizzies, loss of balance, toe-stubbing, tumbling, or knocking anything over! This was promising. As was the lack of any warnings from the EQ! Arthritis in the knees had got much more comfortable, and the bruise from last nights Whoopsiedangleplop, falling out of the recliner, had come out behind the knee, but it wasn’t sufficiently painful to give me any bother.

I utilised the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket) for an IDKWIB (I-don’t-know-why-I-bothered) mode wee-wee. And off to the kitchen, with a sudden uncertain feeling that I may be about to find something I had left on, running or similar. But no, all looked fine.

I took the medications and made a brew. I nipped onto the balcony to take this shot through the finger shredding, rain letting windows that cannot be reached to be cleaned. The blue again view, was lovely.

To the computer to start updating and finishing off the Saturday diary.

The finger-ends began to jump or freeze as a natural reaction when they came into contact with the keyboard buttons. The shoulder jerking started at the same time. This meant I had an extra-long frustrating session in doing the updating.

The need for the Porcelain Throne to be utilised arrived, and the evacuation was nice and clean for a change, not messy this time. I wiped around and did the hands and returned to the computer.

I’d almost finished the updating, and I had to return, this time with the highest speed I dare muster, to the wet room! Before I had got through the door, the PP’s were down, and dressing gown abandoned; onto the Throne, without a single second to spare… Oh, dearie me! The innards rumbled tunefully, and the evacuation went on and on.. and on! Painfully too, which caught me out, as the self-extracted material was almost liquid? I sat there for a while, to recover from the torrent, which proved a wise decision. Because it was followed by an MES (Marathon-Endless-Sprinkling) wee-wee, that may have taken the longest time than ever before! I even grabbed the crossword book, to help kill time, but I could not locate any pen or pencil. (Tsk!) I felt oddly drained, tired and almost jet-lagged, afterwards. (I don’t know why I wrote jet-lagged, I’ve never been on a jet? But it is how I imagine it would have been).

As I cleaned everything up again, the asceticness of my life came to the mind’s fore. Ralph’s words also came back to me from the dream.

I pressed on and completed the Saturday post, sent it off to WordPress, and then went onto the WP Reader section.

I made a start on this blog, as far as here.

Went to make a brew, and took another picture, from the new light & view-blocking kitchen windows, with the impossible to reach panes of glass to be cleaned, not without using the step ladders and a lot of foolish bravery, anyway. I must say, the view was even better than the last photo.

I got the peas podded, and in the one remaining saucepan, I have, to marinate with a little demerara sugar, for Josie’s nosh later.

I also got the oven warming ready to use.

As for the shelling of the peas, I did have a few that shot off in different directions, but no more than about 20 of them. Haha! I managed to find 10 of them afterwards. In various places, but I anticipate coming across more of them later on today.

Then off to the wet room, to do the ablutions. The stubbed middle-toe was looking on the mend, so much better now. Of course, as to when the next toe-stubbing will take place, is in the hands and power of Jonah, the Spirit of Whoopsiedangleplops. My Inchcockskian Evil-eyed-habinger, nuncio, and stormy-petrel of bad-luck, accifauxpas, jinx-supplier, and Avant Courier, to decide!

Plenty of dropsies today, the soap, the sponge, the razor (x3), toothbrush, toilet cleaner bottle, mouthwash bottle, the shower head, olive oil tube, Haemorrhoid cream tube, and the last one, the dang chair I was carrying back into the shower after cleaning up! Bit of good luck there, no injuries at all! Smug-Mode-Engaged!

To the kitchen to check on Josie’s potatoes. Took a picture from the kitchen window, showing the shadow of Woodthorpe Court, cast over the view.

I rang Sister Jane, and the phone died a death on the second ringing tone! The gal rang back later. We had a lovely natter. I told her of Intercom guide paperwork was different from the layout of the actual machine, and some of them did not work anyway. I certainly cannot here the weak jingle when someone rings. I have eight missed calls for last week alone! A lot of residents have had visitors who could not get in! We had, had fitted. I told her I’d sent a photo of on sheet, in which someone looking remarkably like Brother-in-law Pete was on it. I, unfortunately, I had to cut things short, to get the spuds out of the oven. But, it was a nice, if hard to hear due to the echo on the line.

I got the cheese, salt and butter, vinegar and potatoes well bashed and mashed up in the bowl, then transferred back in the husks, and into the oven to brown them off. I laid out Josie’s plate. Tomatoes, gherkins, tuna chunks, mushrooms, a knob of Marmite cheese, an individual lemon cake, and a naughty but oh, so-nice Limoncello dessert.

I had a quick look at the appointments online for Monday & Tuesday, in between checking the spuds to see if they had yet browned-off enough.

They had in the third visit, so I got the meal served up and plated, onto the server, and off to deliver it to Josie’s flat, opposite mine. As I promised, spot on 12:00hrs, midday! Puffed upperdness mode adopted!

Josie said it looked too good to eat! Haha!.

I returned to the flat and made myself a cuppa, and took this photograph with the old Lumix that I’d left charging up. It gives an idea of why I say the light & view-blocking, thick-framed, photographers nightmare windows.

I didn’t want to make my meal yet, as I often fall asleep, and Josie returns here washed plates, etc. and wakes me up each week. It’s hard for her to remember my ridiculously early nodding off time. So, on Sundays, I try to stay awake longer. Not that it works often. Tsk! So. I’ll wait until she has returned and hopefully has a natter with me. Another rarity nowadays. Bless her.

I washed the empty jars and left them in view, so I might just possibly, see them and remember to take them down to the recycling bin in the morning. Or, not!

Now, the audiologist last August confirmed my Asonia, (Deafness to certain pitches of sound) so I may have fallen asleep and imagined what happened next.

I thought I heard the door chime. Went to the door, thinking it might be Josie, but no one was about. Back to the kitchen, and listened to the same sound again. To the door, nobody there. Returned to the scullery. Again, chiming. To the front door, no one about? I called at Josie’s, but no answer. Back to the fodder, and again, the distant-sounding chiming… on my way to the door… I realised it must have been the flaming crap new intercom system. That had not lit up when someone called. (Nothing new about this, dozens of tenants have a problem with, or their intercom does not work at all!) I got the notes supplied on usage, (although the layout of the machine is so different from the examples given in the paperwork and confusing) and sussed out how to check on missed calls. Only 25 of them! Humph!

I had my potatoes prepped at the same time as Josie’s, and got them in the oven to brown-off. A beef slice, beetroot, mushrooms, garden peas, tomatoes, and some Poppit salt & vinegar crisps with the added potatoes when they were done.

I awarded this colourful effort a well-worthy 8/10 Taste-Rating. Got the pots washed, and did the handwashing and hung them to start drying.

After this, the memory gets very foggy. I got settled down in the rickety recliner, and think I started nodding and waking… but anything could have happened as Dizzy Dennis visited me, that bit I can remember! Tsk!

Inchcockski – Fri 9 Aug 2019: Great morning… shame about the afternoon!

Friday 9th August 2019

Romanian: Vineri, 9 August 2019

22:40hrs: Woke up, and nodded-off again. 23:00hrs: Woke up, and nodded-off again. 23:20hrs: Woke up, and nodded-off again.

23:30hrs: I woke, to the ending of the clattering sounds! I had to get out of the £300 second-hand, c1968, pukingly-beige-coloured, rusty, rickety recliner, to have an urgent wee-wee, and investigate where or what the sounds might have been! Had I imagined them? Was I dreaming at the time?

The EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket) was empty, not used at all. The wee-wee was of the BOBSL (Blasting-Out-But-Short-Lived) style. A hobble around each room produced no clues as to the cause of the sounds. Maybe, I had been dreaming?

In the kitchen, the overflow from the flat above was pouring out into the sink again. I must get to advise one of our pulchritudinous, most highly desirous Oberstleutnantess Wardens of this later. I might even try using the walk-through passageway for the first time today. (Is there no limits to my adventurousness? Hahaha!)

Taking this photo was easier for me. I rested it (the camera) on the edge of the sink to help hold it steady. Although, the hands, arm, shoulder, and leg, were all currently ‘Dance-Free’ at the moment. Which was good!

I got the handwashing onto the stand-up airer. Got the kettle on, and did the health checks. SYS 155, DIA 65, Pulse 92 and Temperature, the thermometer still not working, came up as just LOW. Not such excellent results this morning. I had to have another wee-wee, again of the BOBSL mode. Then, I took the medications, adding a well-mixed sachet of the Movicol-Macrogol, to hopefully loosen things in advance of the next Porcelain Throne visit later on. I do have the odd moments of semi-logicality and rare sapience. Haha!

I got the MS Windows updates and Liberty-Global Virgin Media, hindered computer on, and began to get the Friday Inchcockski caught up with. A good few photographs to get done ready, but with the hands, fingers, arm and leg all being in a calm and friendly mood, I got it done in a reasonable time for once. Before I posted and emailed the link, I went to check on the water leak status in the kitchen.

It was still flowing, and I was a little bothered in case it stained the sink again. So I made up a Heath Robinson affair with a plastic measure spoon and plastic storage pot lid, that diverted the water from the spout, and over the edge of the sink, and the water flowed into a plastic mixing basin in the tub. Which soon started to fill-up. I may not be smart or sacerdotal, but at rare moments like this (when something that to me, is a success!), I can feel like a polymath, a near-genius! Hehehe!

I got the fresh garden peas podded, and into a saucepan with some demerara sugar, to marinate while I was out shopping.

The call to the Porcelain Throne arrived. And what a difference this one was! Hardly any pain, all over in two minutes, and no struggling. The extra Movicol-Macrogol had worked. But the time spent in having to clean things up after the evacuation took ages! Ah, well. You can’t win-em-all! I had a wash of the dandies and antisepticated contact points in the wet room. Made a cuppa, and got the Thursday blog emailed and sent off to WordPress.

Back to check on the water overflow from the flat above. Emptied the bowl, wiped some water that had still flowed in the not-so stain-resistant sink, and made another brew for the one that had gone cold. I checked out the pins while waiting for the kettle to boil.

They looked less inflamed, not so pale, and the water retention seemed to be kept low. The itching from where the old leg ulcer was, on the right ankle, was beginning to tich crazily again. Like worms or maggots were wriggling about, just under the skin. Tsk!

I made a start on this post. Then needed to go on CorelDraw to make up some more header and thought graphics. Took me a few hours, but I got them done.

Went to make another brew, and the wind and rain had some mist with them. Cleared the sink of the incoming water and emptied the bowl.

I spent a long time getting myself into a pickle trying to amend the categories and tags on WordPress. I had to give up, to get the ablutions tended to. Humph!

The ablutions went well, bloodless and only one dropping off the toothpaste. However, the morning sock-glide battle produced a new bruise. I got the black bags sorted and taken to the chute.

All readied, I went down to the lobby, and a gal there (I keep on forgetting her name, so annoying to me when I do this!), she told me we could now use the walk-through passage, to get to the Oberstgruppenfhreress Wardens holding cells and office, in the Winwood Court building. We had a nibble, I thanked her, and set off. But, the fob would not work at the other end. Some wires were sticking through the wall on the right. I decided to go back and exit via the foyer doors.

The kind lady took me to the caretaker’s room and asked if he could show me how to get through. Rob went with me and pointed out the fob-box. I tried again, and the door opened immediately. That’s another thing about getting old and going senile; one feels a fool more often! Hehe!

The passageway through the door, was a longish one, with flat doors on either side. Mor rooms ar I turned left, and into the Winwood foyer area, where the office for the Hauptbereitschaftsleiteress Wardens office was located. It was empty and locked up. Pretty penny came through, and we had a jolly good chinwag as we departed and went to the bus stop.

Marie joined us, and she and Penny went off to catch the 40 bus on Winchester Street. Which left me all alone, and feeling oddly lonely. Sad innit?

I took this picture from the bus stop, showing the new Winwood Court and offices, in all their glory, and cleaner, fresher, than they will ever be shown again. Hehe!

Other tenants soon joined me, and a chinwag was enjoyed with some of them. Caroline’s sister arrived. Both buses arrived at the same time. The hoards surged forward to get on the Bestwood-bound bus Hehe! I struggle through them to get on the City-bound L9. Most of the latecomers had boarded already. A lady kindly let me on next. I got settled, as is usual, on one of the uncomfortable diddy side-saddle seats, with the three-wheeler (being empty) trolley folded to make room for others. The journey to town was spent on the crossword puzzling. I did exceptionally well this morning, on retrying the part finished puzzles and got a few answers. Some of which I should have known before. I surprised myself, at how good this made me feel.

I got off last, on Queen Street, and slowly made my way down the hill and through the slab square to Wheeler Gate and the Poundland shop. Where a successful shopping session took place. With then having many items they had not had in lately, caused this old twit, to come out having bought far too much stuff, and struggling with the three-wheeler and overfull carrier bag full of fodder! I came out with: 2×6 mini-bags of Twiglets. Two Pork Farms pork pies, pedal bin bags, and two bottles of Bleach. A bag of birdseed. Orange club biscuits. A ready-made BLT pack of sarnies. A Kit-Kat Special Edition ‘Ruby’ (to treat the Wardens with). Two cans of BBQ chilli & wedges. Payne’s misshapes chocolate almonds. The self-serve checkout machine red light came on twice, the young lady put it right, but I don’t know what I did wrong.

I left and made my way to the Slab Square, and took many photographicalisation. I intend to do a post with all the pictures on in the morning, after updating this blog. There are a good few, with a (hopefully witty) comments or two on every shot!

After I’d finished the enjoyable for once wander around photographicalisationing, I made my way to the Queen Street bus stop.

I was the only passenger to get on when the L9 arrived. But at the next stop, the flood of pensioners stampeded aboard. Haha!

But, not any as far I could see, any from the Winwood Heights complex.

I dropped off at the flats and made my way to the Generalfeldmarschalless Wardens office in Winwood Court. The office was locked, but as I was going to turn to use the cut-through passage back to Woodthorpe Court, Dean returned to her holding cell. We spoke in the foyer area. I explained about the leak coming into the sink and explained. She said she would ring someone and get back to me, bless her. A delivery arrived, and she went off to show the driver where she needed the things going. Returning to me, and I handed over the Special Edition ‘Ruby’ Kit-Kats.

Back home to the apartment, and put away the sillily bought purchases. And got the easy-peasy to make meal prepared.

The ready-made sarnies, mini-pork & pickle pies, BBQ meat sticks, fresh garden peas and a few extra tomatoes added. A lemon mousse to follow.

I was digging into it, and enjoying doing so when the landline light lit up! It was the chemist bloke. He wanted to deliver the prescriptions early, as he had to call anyway to someone else in the flats. ‘No problem’ I replied, then returned to the fodderisationing.

Still trying to eat, I thought I heard the door chime. Tsk! It turned out to be the intercom, the chemist and an assistant wanting access! I let them in. Minutes later, the assistant girl arrived with the medications. I took them off of her, thanked her and got back to the now curling-at-the-edges sarnie meal.

The landline rang again! I could hardly hear what he was saying, but I deciphered it as a plumber, telling me he was on his way, to tackle the leak problem. Thanked him, said I was in for the rest of the day and got back again to the nosh-eating. Hoping that it would not be late when he arrived, it was already my usual head-down time gone!

One bite of a sarnie and the landline burst forth again! It was Deana, to tell me about the plumber would be coming today, to look at and do the repairs as needed. I thanked her and decided not to carry on eating. The urge had been demolished with all the interruptions. Oy Vay!

I got the meal and took it to the kitchen. As I was wrapping it in foil, to eat later… The arm and leg started dancing about, and I dropped the half-plate of food on the floor! And swore! Globangerations! I was getting somewhat peed off now! A ten-second dance routine from the peroneal nerve palsy affected limbs – that had to come just at the time I was wrapping the plate of food using both hands of course! Talk about bad timing! Double Tsk!

Tidied and clean up best I could, and the Nottingham City Homes plumber arrived. I waited for him to end his mobile phone call and showed him the leaf from the overflow pipe. He had a look in the top cold water cupboard, and went off, to fetch some things needed to replace the ball valve I think he said. He made a call on this mobile after checking the tank out.

He soon had things in hand, but got another call on his mobile, and had to nip into the wet room to find the water cut-off. The trolley and cleaners were in the way, but he soon had them moved.

Would you like to Guess who walked into the corner of one of those same doors?

Yes, Inchcock doing what he does best again! It made me jump a bit! Haha! I nipped into the other room and cleaned up the wound and put some antiseptic cream on it.

The plumber gentleman soon got it all finished, and was off on his way. I thanked him and cleaned up the spilt soap powder and wet room floor.

I got the Dyson to clean up the dry powder first. But a very odd noise was coming from the machine. On closer inspection, I found some long stringy bits of material had got stuck in the rollers of the vacuum head. I got out the scissors and carefully snipped at the twine-like looking shreds, and got them freed.

Cleaned up the wet room, and went to empty the dust-box. What a clot, the soap powder sprayed out all over the front room, most of it missed the waste bin I was aiming for! I cleaned out the plastic dust box, and dirtied it again when I hoovered up the offending soap powder! My irascibility levels had increased so much, I was ready to have a heart-attack or stroke again! How can one man (speaking least possible manner!), be so unlucky, Whoopsiedangleplop-ridden, ill-omened, burdened, pitiful, jinxed and hapless? Still, you don’t like to complain does yer!

I then spotted the letter from the Nottingham City Homes maintenance department.

I am more confused than ever, now. However, the decay with my mind and body deteriorating so fast as it is, this should not be of a surprising nature. Hahaha!

I think that Deana has done a grand job in helping me out with this leaking problem. So, a thank you to her again!

I’m feeling hungry again now! Hehe!

Inchcockski. Wednesday 7th August 2019:

Wednesday 7th August 2019

Welsh: Dydd Mercher 7fed Awst 2019

01:35hrs. As I woke and felt the storm of words forming, to trample me with worries, problems and the futility of life, in my twisted brain – I was saved the torment by a sudden urge to use the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). It looked like I had only used it once overnight. And this effort of the SGSS (Short-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) variety, added very little to it. I noticed how the pins (legs), were looking terribly thin this morning. A few vague memories lingered about a dream I’dben having, but nothing concrete.

I washed the grey bucket, myself then got the handwashing that was hanging up drying from last night, onto the stand-up airer. I kept jiggling the socks around, as usual, to get them to dry evenly. There’s quite a skill in doing this, I’m getting better all the time. Well, when I remember to do it. Haha!

I visited the Porcelain Throne. Another hard job, but not so painful this time. I washed the dandies and went to make a mug of Glengettie tea. Took the medications. As I was doing this, I became aware that the leg had done no dancing whatsoever, the finger-end had not caused me to drop a single thing! No darting out of the right arm. Only the shoulder was doing its twitching a bit. Great stuff! Plus, not Whoopsiedangleplops pr Accifauxpas… mind you, the shaving, teeth and daily conflict with the sock-glide might put paid to this period of relief and joy. Hehehe!

I got on the computer and finalised the updating, then posted it off! All done, in about two hours! Brilliant start to the day!

I poddled out on the balcony and took a shot of Chestnut Way, below. An eerie picture, I thought. It was drizzling a bit and wasn’t too warm. I made sure I shut the sliding door as I came back inside. I even avoided the metal spring clip opener from gnashing any flesh. Oh, yes! But these things are concerning me. It’s not natural for me, no Fauxpas or Whoopsiedangleplops! Then a photo out of the unwanted, light & view-blocking kitchen window.

I did some template graphicalisation work on CorelDraw.

0745hrs: As I started to worry about the Morrison order being late, I heard some thunderous metallic clanging noises, as if metal sheets had been dropped somewhere? I had the CCTV on. So as to look for the Morrison driver, Gohar’s (they put the driver’s name on their email) arrival. But searching for the source of the mystery noises, I missed him and heard the intercom – so it was a good thing I was in the hallway at the time. More good luck, I can’t take much more of this! Hahaha!

The young man dropped off the carriers inside the door for me. He offered to take them through to the kitchen, but he was already late, so I declined the kind offer. Gave him last weeks carriers back, and off he went.

I made another brew and got the garden peas shelled and into a saucepan in water and demerara sugar. I had to get down and empty and rearrange the freezer contents to get the new stuff in. Well,  they had the Walls sausages at 50p off, and the triple-fried chips with 45p off! While I was shelling the peas, I know for sure, that at least eight peas were dropped or shot off somewhere. I only found two of them. Hey-Ho!

I decided that today, I would have the slightly aged ribs I found in the fridge, with some rice with BBQ flavouring, might put some hoisin sauce it with it, as well as some garden peas. The ribs looked very pink and had been in the freezer for ages, so I assume they would have been part-thawed from the time the geniuses who were doing the water sprinkler prep work, managed to blow all my power. I had to wait over eight hours for it to be put back on again. So now, typing this, I think I’ve changed my mind about risking eating the ribs. I won’t, I’ll throw then away now, so as not to be tempted. Back in a while.

Back to completing the graphicationalisationing on CorelDraw. This took me hours just to get enough Headers and Thought graphics for three days. But oddly, this didn’t bother me. What’s going on today? Have I gone loco? Contended? Me?

I got the meal chips cooking and warmed up the peas in the pan.

I went to check on the drier, and found a note had been posted through the letterbox. “Nottingham City Homes – Fire Alarm Test. Back in 6 months.” This concerned me a little. Had they not tried ringing at least one of the two door chimes outside. I do recall a lot of banging and clanging going on all around me, at the time they said they called? I checked the door chimes – both working fine! Mmm?

And the results from the INR Warfarin Anticoagulation Haemostasis Deep Vein Arterial Thrombosis Clinic. (I just love this name! Hehe!) With the best ever results! INR 3.3! Fantastic! So, no blood-giving next week, the next one is for Monday 19th August. Awaiting confirmation of either nurse or clinic to take the sample. But it will not arrive, I’m sure. It’ll mean staying in for the day again, just in case.

I moved the special tomatoes I had left, to a cooler spot for storing. The larger one is an Amaranth (reddish-rose) colour one, which I ate and enjoyed with the nosh.

The yellow mini and plum-shaped ones, did not taste too good, slightly bitter really, But, if I let them ripen a little, the taste may improve. The Mini ones are tangy but not sour tasting.

The rather large meal was prepped and served up. Bacon flavoured Asda (Walmart) chips, crispy smoked streaky bacon, mini-cucumber slices, pork and cheese mini pork pie, slices of apple, tomatoes (including sliced Brandywine Pink), diced beetroot with onion, a Bacon filled brown Stottie, followed by a very naughty but delicious Limoncello! Rating: 9/10!

Washed the pots, and got the handwashing in soak.

Well, I settled down and pondered over the day, the almost Whoopsiedangleplop-free, Accifauxpas-free, No Ulnar nerve palsy dancing from the leg. No arm-shooting out! No toe stubbing. No falling, or tripping over, or walking into anything! No dizzy-spells. The Porcelain Throne evacuations were less bother and pain! No medical mayhem! What can I say? A fantastic day for me!

No nasty EQ warning messages of me going to pay for this later, either! Worrying!

Inchcock Today. Sunday 4th August 2019: Computer problems – Despair!

My Favourites: Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Neopolitan

Sunday 4th August 2019

Croatian: Nedjelja, 4. Kolovoza 2019. Godine

01:35hrs. Woke up, to find the stomach ache and queasiness still with me. No sooner had I recognised this fact, the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived. Almost spritely, I was out of the £300, second-hand, horrendously beige-coloured, tatty, battered, often not working, c1968, rickety, rusty recliner. Grabbed the stick and made my way, wobbly, to the wet room.

A sharp pain was felt in the lower shin area of the right leg, but this did not stop it from trying to dance a Neuropathic Schuhplattler, as I entered the room! The pain continued. A sort of crampish, dull ache with moments of stinging? But, the dancing was all over in seconds. (Phew!) The evacuation replaced other worries. Gawd blimey, an extremely messy and pongy affair! But, there was no bleeding. An awfully long time and a lot of effort were needed in cleaning the porcelain and myself up afterwards! Tsk!

I still felt a little unsteady on the pins, and relieving myself, had not eased the innards at all. To the kitchen, and I was amazed to see some handwashing soaking in the bowl. Blown if I can remember doing any! Got the kettle on, and rinsed the t-shirt and socks, got them on the airer.

I pondered on the needs of the day:

  • Josie’s cheesy potato and smoked mackerel meal to prepare for a twelve o’clock delivery.
  • Ready the needs for the surgery tests in the morning. Medication list, a sample of urine.
  • Update the record of my daily-moods for the Doctor S K Raghunathan.
  • Make a note to leave for the Phlebotomy nurse, advising her of my possible delay at the surgery, might make me late getting home. (Oh, dearie me!)
  • Check and take-in, all medical appointments for the week.
  • More Templates, Page-top, and Thoughts graphics need creating.

The Axonotmesis driven right leg began to try doing another Neuropathic Schuhplattler, come, the Stomp, dancing. Again, it gave up after only a minute or so. But it seemed more active this morning. I don’t suppose it will help, but I lathered the leg with the Phorpain Pain Gel, anyway. Then took the morning medications (No need of any Senna or Movicol, judging by the evacuation I’d suffered, I mean taken. Haha!), and made a mug of tea.

I got onto updating the Saturday blog. Not a good day yesterday, I hoped that today would be betterer. It took me only about three hours to complete the diary, and get it posted off to WordPress. The hands and fingers were calm this morning. So progress was good.

For some unrecognised mysterious reason, I seemed to feel (Just a little bit, mind!) somewhat motivated and hopeful this morning? This, despite the dancing leg and rumbling aching innards!

As I went on CorelDraw, to do the needed graphics, the shoulder started its aggressive shuffling, shaking, hutching and quivering movements. This put me in a lower state of contentment straight away. For trying to work on graphics on the art package, is nigh-on impossible with the arm destroying the work in one wild nudge! But, I persisted. (Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit, where am I getting this determination from?)

Then, my spirits, sank a little further…

I can see my recent uplift in moral is about to dwindle, plummet, recede further, take a nosedive or die! Grumph!

Really bad now. The sites keep crashing on Firefox, then Firefox itself crashed. Oh, Shit! It did this three times, on the fourth reset, it seems to be working again. I’d hate to loose all the graphic work I’m doing, oh, dear me!

Export Driver failed message.

This could be my last communication with you. All presets on Coreldraw and WordPress have gone back to default!

I shall try to post this blog early, in case it all goes tits-up.

Then try a restart. Fingers crossed…

Inchcockski Today – Sat 3 August 2019: A communicationless day, ending badly. Humph! TTFNski.

Saturday 3rd August 2019

Scots Gaelic: Disathairne 3 Lùnastal 2019

23:30hrs; I woke in need of a wee-wee. The general performance in getting out of the £300, c1968, mind-blowingly crude beige-coloured, rickety recliner, was more comfortable than it has been for months. The ailments must have still been asleep! Haha! So good and pain-free was I, that I didn’t use the stick to get to the grey plastic wee-wee bucket at all!

However, unfortunately, the passing was of the UWBUS (Ultra-Weak-But-Uncontrollable-Sprinkly) version. I think I prefer the power-blast type, at least I know when things are finished. Hence, the first job was to clean and sanitise the bucket and me and change my PP’s. (Disesteem-Mode-Engaged!)

It felt very nippy this morning. The new unwanted kitchen windows were steamed up inside and moist on the outside? I put the dressing gown on.

I moved the hanging handwashing to the stand-up airer.

Then the need for another wee-wee arrived. Aha, I was cunning. I decided to use the sit-upon Throne this time. But things were not the same as the last wee-wee. (I should be so lucky!) This was an ELPSOA (Extra-Long-Powerful-Spraying-Out-Allover) wee-wee. The blast-back soaked things that should not have been soaked! I had to clean up the floor, cabinets, sink and myself! Such was the force of the spraying! How things can change like this, is beyond my understanding? Bending down did me no good, and started Anne Gyna off. Galumph! But, it did make me aware that the stomach had bloated a lot overnight, and had gained a few extra marks. There appear to be some new spots taking hold as well. At the bottom of the heart op scars. It could have been how I was laying in the gungy rusty-recliner, perhaps?

I retrieved the hemadynamometer from the medical drawer and failed three times to get the machine to operate. Got it to go on the fourth attempt, though, and with fair results again too. Sia 142, Dia 72, Pulse 86.

However, the body temperature was still very low, I thought, at 34°c. I must mention this on Monday when I go to the surgery for the annual CHD test, the extra CBC and the Lipid assessment test. A Shame that Lipid can’t be quoted in an acronym form, I could have made a hat-trick there! Hahaha!

That got me thinking, where the term hat-trick came from. So I looked it up on Google: The term originated in cricket during 1879, where it refers to three wickets taken by a bowler in three consecutive balls, traditionally rewarded with the presentation of a hat. No charge for this information! Financial Donations gladly accepted, though. Hehehe!

I made a start on the updating of the Friday post. It was a long slog, with the finger ends playing up and not recording anything they touched to the brain! Then…

Making progress decelerated even more! The damned operation of updating and getting it posted off to WordPress, took me over five hours! It was daylight by the time I’d completed it! Misty in the distance mind.

Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet then decided it would start to die occasionally on me! Progress fluctuated between a dead stop, and frustratingly sluggish! Ah, it’s weekend again! See how clever I was to spot that? Sad really!

I tried doing a defrag on Norton, they now call it a clean-up apparently. It performed this in about three seconds? Then I tried uploading another photo on WordPress. But no luck, it wouldn’t/didn’t have it. Oh, Globstagglefunk!

I looked up how to do a defrag. Chose all three drive options, including the massive old external Passport drive I use, and it started defragging. The first two drives took all of three seconds to do. The Passport cleaning was about ten minutes. As I recall from years ago, the defragging took ages and yonks?

I tried uploading the photo again. It took it but struggled, and it cost about five minutes to go on.

Hello, the Porcelain Throne beckons. Back in a bit…

Well, that was different, in the extreme! The first shock that tool some comprehending was the lack of pain. Then the softness. Then the flow stopping with what was obviously a lot more to come yet? I expect to be trotting back to the Throne again soon.

Washing my hands after the evacuation of sorts, and the right arm had a mini-session of directing an orchestra! It was over within 30 seconds and back to normal as it can be. But I still had to dry the floor and my torso and legs of the splashed water from the sink. Ah, well!

I was doing alright, really. With the computer, Virgin Media Internet, no one to socialise with, the leg and arm playing up, and the Throne changes; I feel I’m doing satisfactorily in the megrims and endogenous depression departments. I hope the computer problems don’t get too much and beyond me, that would do me no good!

I was doing well with the aberrancies, instabilities, Whoopsiedangleplops, annoyances and vagaries of the day, I thought.

Then, out of the blue, came an alarming weariness and a general, but definite disequilibriumness. A vertiginousness, a wooziness, that took over the body and mind. I don’t mind telling you, it shook me up, coming on so suddenly, in the twinkling of an eye.

I sat still in the chair for ten minutes to recover, but this didn’t work. I assumed lack of food for so long might be part of the cause, and got the fodder cooked prepared and served up. (Bulimia?)

I made the easiest to cook meal that I could. The vegetarian chilli, and heated the last sourdough bread. Another worrying factor to consider, was, is my abstemiousness for food on the wane?

Half-way through the nosh, I had to go to the Porcelain Throne. A failure, though, all wind. Washed and returned to the meal, the, oh, so too big a bowl of, of Soulful pulled jackfruit, smokey BBQ chilli with beans. ‘A scrumptious chunky chilli with chipotle and pumpkin seeds’ – with the black bean sauce and orange tomatoes that I had added to it. Could this be comfort eating?

I finished the, to me, delectable, delicious, dinner. After I’d washed the pots and took the evening medications, I still felt unsteady, weak, and so tired now.

But sleep refused to come. My mind, sort of went into a lull, pause, or respite mode. I put on the TV, but didn’t even watch it properly, it was just company of sorts, while the mind stewed in turmoil, and the stomach stung, and Anne Gyna stabbed away at me.

I gave up on sleeping. I’ve no idea why, but I got up and went to the balcony, and took a shot of the evening sky through the windows.

The odd tap-tapping noise started again. It might have been pipework perhaps?

Off I trudged to the Porcelain Throne once more. Aha! Movement. Sloppy and messy, a little bleeding, and not a lot of evacuated material this time.

A good wash then did the teggies, and back to the second-hand, £300, c1968, horrendous beige-coloured, tatty, rickety recliner, determined to get some sleep.

Huh! I lay there for over an hour or so before the blessed kip arrived. But during this time, the tummy and Anne Gyna both calmed down.

Zzzz!

Inchcockski Today – Friday 2nd August 2019: Bus to town for a random photographicalisationing session.

Friday 2nd August 2019

Latin: August 2nd Veneris MMXIX

22:15hrs. I gave up trying to get any sleep. I dismounted the £300 second-hand, c1968, sickly-beige, often not working, rickety-recliner, caught my balance, grabbed the stick and off to the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). I was caught unawares as it turned out to be an LRWS (Long-Reluctant-Weak-Sprinkly) wee-wee. Trying to work out when, or if, it had stopped, was a risky affair. Hehehe!

To the kitchen with the bucket, for cleaning and disinfecting. Despite the lengthy evacuation, and using the bucket a few times earlier, there was very little content in it.

I was filling the kettle when the leg started to burst into one of its dancing routines. As Tim Price put it: “Come on leggies let’s do the locomotion. Then the hokey pokey, and a one-note samba!” Hehehe! It only lasted a few seconds, a minute at most. But what a pickle I got myself into! An excellent blooming job the water was cold, as it spilt onto the floor, via my legs and the left foot. I grabbed the counter as the stick was going along with the leg, and knocked the medication box onto the floor. Which opened up, and I now have several unusable wet tablets to sort out! It could have been a lot worse!

I cleaned up me, and the kitchen, and sorted some morning tablets out, and took them. Then got the health checks taken. Another good set of results. Although the same as the last three or four days, the body temperature was a bit low at 34°c. I’ll check on the range it should be now, cause I keep forgetting to do it. Back in a bit!

I found it. Google: Adults over age 70. In older adults, the average body temperature is lower than 98.6°F (36.2°C). Well, that’s as clear as mud! Tsk!

I took the tea to the computer to make a start on updating yesterday’s blog. But had to do a volte-face, as the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived urgently (I thought). With the Movocol working so well on Thursday and having taken another last night, I thought I’d better not risk any delay! Well fancy-schmancy. Back to rock-hard, reluctant and rather painful mode! When things eventually moved, I was close to calling for help by pressing my wristlet-alarm! I had a proper cleansing and ointmenting session, as things had gotten somewhat imbrued. Another wash-up, and back to the medical drawer. I got a sachet of the Movicol and mixed and downed a cup of it, and took a Senna at the same time. Oh, ‘eck!

I got the hand-washed last night, bamboo socks onto the stand-up airer. I left the t-shirt hanging up.

Back to the computer. A good few photographs to add, which delayed things a little, but the CIDP was all calm, bar the jiggling shoulder. About three and a half hours later, it had been sorted, posted to WordPress… and I needed another Porcelain Throne visitation to be made!

Aha, a much more relaxed affair this time. Mind you, if the last one had not been such agony, I might have thought this one was. Do I make sense there?

The wee-wees had seemingly dried up. I’ve not needed one for four hours now!

I thought I’d check on Morrison’s to see if they have any of the Special Offer butter in stock yet.

No luck, Grumph! Sorry, Jenny.

I made plans to go to the City Centre today, to have a photographicalisationing walkabout.

So, I got the ablutionalisation done. No shaving cuts whatsoever, and only two dropsies, one the pain gel tube, the other, the body spray can. Smugness Reigned!

Black bins to the waste chute, all dressed and smelling nice now, Hehe! I got the three-wheeler and set out to the bus stop.

I could see a gang of residents waiting at the bus stop as I walked along Chestnut Way, but didn’t take a picture, as I recognised one of them who doesn’t like to be photographed. Fair enough. I took what I thought was a different angle shot of Winchester Court, and a shot of the front of the new, soon to be occupied, Winwood Court. I may not be a fan of some of the new balconies, windows, heaters, failed intercom system, but I love the colour scheme on both courts.

I had a listen to the others chinwagging for a while. The City-bound L9 arrived, and Marie insisted on my getting on ahead of the others. Guiltily, I did so. But this gesture ensured I got the only semi-comfortable side-saddle seat on the bus. Nice! I got off the bus on Queen Street and walked down to the Slab Square.

The square looked a right mess.

I walked along Long Row and around the back of the council house, then through the famously expensive, abandoned, full-of overpriced rental retailers, closed down shops and customer-free, Arcade Walk.

Photos below, of the amble around the Council House.

As I got to the end of South Parade, a young lady Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist, all but clouted into me, as she went by me far to close for comfort. By the time I’d got the camera out, she had to bt zoom-shotted (I like that phrase? Hehe!) as she continued to threaten other pedestrians. Note the adorable tattoo decorations on the young lady in black, legs!

I turned into Wheeler Gate, and approached the Poundland shop, in search of Pork Farms pork pies, Shebert saucers and to see if they had any fresh bread available.

The drivers at the taxi rank were chatting away in what I think was Pakistani.

I got into the store, and made for the fridges and found some Pork Farms pork pies, two went into my basket.

Then, they fell out again, as the CIDN arm did an unstoppable but impressive Nazi salute. The ladies behind me screamed and moved away in haste, and as I late found out, they went to tell a member of staff about my dangerous actions. Oh, dearie me! It is only the third time the arm has ever done this. I then failed to find any sherberts or bread. But, I did get some Orange club biscuits, Cheeslets, Twiglets, a BLT sandwich and a Bar for the social-hour nibble box.

As I went into the self-serve area, a lady came to me and did all the work of putting the stuff through for me. This was when she told me about the two ladies complaining to her about my arm actions and dropping the basket, pies etc. on the floor. Luckily, this kind lady knows of my ‘Issues’ with my right side limbs movements. Several weeks ago, in the same store, the arm did its shooting out and up while I was at the tills then. This is why the lady came to me today, so kindly, to help me. The lady didn’t say what she said to the women. I thanked her for her help, and as I was exiting the shop, the two ladies approached me and asked if I was alright. So whatever the Poundland assistant told them, it had hit home. This restored some faith in humanity in me. I shall inform Poundland by Email, thanking the lady and praising her actions. It’s no good just moaning about things. When they go right, it is nice to be able to thank people properly.

I had a hobble around, taking some photographicalisations, before making my way to the bus stop.

7 / 6

I got to the bus stop on Queen Street, and soon after Marie and Malcolm from Woodthorpe Court joined me. I like the reflectionisationing of Marie in the shining bus stop. It makes it look as if she has two trolleys and had lost weight. Hehehe!

Marie and I were having a chinwag and laugh, but the 11:05hr L9 bus did not arrive! We went a stop down the hill and caught the 40 bus. An even more uncomfortable route than the L9 on this trip. So many hills and speed bumps to go over. As we approached our stop, which was on one of the steeping bus route hills in Nottingham, Marie kindly warned me not to try and get up until the bus had stopped.

All three of us alighted, crossed over sensibly using the little central island, and made our way back to the flats down the hill. Marie and Malcolm gained speed and left me behind. Hehe!

By the time I caught up with them, and only because they had stopped in the lobby for a chinwag with Cyndy, Mo and Doris, I joined in with a hello there! Obviously, Marie and I were either in need of the WC, was hungry, wanted a kip or a mug of tea, so we departed and had a bit of a wait for the elevator to arrive, but had a natter and laugh while we waited. Farewells on the 7th floor, and I was soon back home. Tired, but contended. Some great nattering session enjoyed today, they made me feel almost normal. Haha!

I got the food out of the three-wheeled trolley and onto the counter.

The orange club biscuits that I had bought for nibbles may well end up being for just me. I took two out to have as a dessert with the nosh late. Guilt-Mode dawned!

The meal of the day plans was evident by the purchases. The BLT sarnie and pork pie had some beetroot, cheeses, apple and tomatoes added to them, while the delicious Asda bacon fried chips were cooking, and boy, were they scrumptious! Apart from the Asda cooked beetroots, that were the consistency of an Australian Buloke tree wood, this was an unalloyed, veritable feast!

A deserving, despite the Asda beetroot, a 9.2/10 flavour rating! I ate it slowly, masticating as much as my shortage of teeth would allow me to, every mouthful!

The pot of jelly and custard took me back to my young days, it was unstimulating, wishy-washy, bland and awful! Just like my youthful days were. Thankfully, at the time, I was ignorant of proper food being available. But when Dad sent me out to get the week’s shopping with 2/6d (12.5p), how could I be aware? Haha!

I did the washing up, then got the handwashing done. Leaving it in the bowl to soak overnight.

Thankfully, my plans to watch some TV were destroyed – by the heaven-sent sleep arriving!

Ahh! Zzz!

Inchcock Today – Thurs 1 Aug 19: Got out for a mini-marathon hobble with the trolley. The same route used to take an hour and a bit – now, three hours! But I did it! Smug-Mode Adopted!

Thursday 1st August 2019

Cymraeg – Welsh: Dydd Iau 1 Awst 2019

22:35hrs: I had to give up trying to get to sleep. A new aching from the innards and the CIDP affected right arm kept shooting all over the place. And I needed a wee-wee! I dismounted the £300, second-hand, sickly-beige coloured, rusty, c1968, rickety recliner, and used the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). It was taking so long to get rid of so little liquid… then after several minutes of struggling and urging,  it was as if someone had suddenly turned on the tap! Blimey! Splashbacks and pain! Oy Yay!

When I went to the kitchen, I was surprised at first, not see any handwashing hanging up. Then remembered I was too shattered last night to do any. It was too early to take the medications or do the health checks – so I must remember later on in the morning to do them. I got the kettle on, It was still raining outside, but far less than earlier on. Made the mug of tea, and as I returned to the flea-pit room to start the computer, I needed another wee-wee. A different style this time, a WYSAO (Weak-Yet-Spraying-All-Over) wee-wee. And no sudden surges in power this time.

Got the computer on, and checked the emails. An Email from the Nottingham Post Newsdesk informed me of this gigantic breakfast now on sale in a Nottingham restaurant or cafe somewhere. The most copious breakfast that is available in the Midlands it said. I can believe it too! Flipping heck, surely that’s not made for one serving? It looks tempting, though! Haha!

The new tummy-ache kicked off as I started to update the Wednesday Diary. When I take the medications, I’ll take an extra 5mg Ramipril, that might settle the innards for me. I pressed on, the fingers, hands, etc. had all calmed down from last night. I was well pleased that the arm was no longer doing it’s flying out all over the place. If it had been, I wouldn’t have dared go on the computer – cause sure as eggs are eggs, the arm would have done its impersonation of a Hitler salute, and might have hit the touch-screen!

A couple of hours or so later, I got the post finalised and sent off to WordPress.

I had another WYSAO wee-wee, and had a rinse and made another brew. Then took the medications, and got the machine out to do the health checks. The sphygmomanometer worked on the third try. The readings were fine again. But the body temperature was a little low, still, at 34.1°c. I think so anyway, I keep forgetting what it should be, so I might be wrong; it has been known! Hehehe!

I remembered to take the extra Ramipril alright – then realised they are for the BP, not a panchymagogue. What an Idiot! So I had a couple of extra guzzles of the mostly inefficacious, no good to Gundy, Peptac. I did feel a fool! Which, of course, is a regular happening.

I had a check on the Morrison site, to see if they have any of the West Country butter in stock for Jenny and Frank. If so, I’ll do an order.

Nope, Out-of-Stock again! So, with Jenny & Frank being away for a while, I’ve time to try again later and can keep it in the freezer for when the return. That is if Morrison ever manages to get any back in stock before the Special Offer finishes! I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t get an more, though. It is an excellent price, and must be in great (unsatisfied) demand from hundreds of customers who also cannot get any! This way, Morrison’s can claim their prices are lower. Of course the won’t actually sell any, but still! So, no order from this Nottinghamian!

I then went on CorelDraw to do a couple more graphics to use and saved them.

Then started this blog going.

Then made up some templates for the Inchcock Todays. Stomach still rumbling, grumbling and churning a bit? Brekkers time, corn flakes and a mug of tea, methinks.

The ablutions were sorted. No teeth-cleaning or shaving cuts suffered! Only a razor, once, and the soap, twice, were dropped from the CIDP affected hand. The shower head was not dropped at all today.

Although it didn’t show up in this picture, I’ve no idea why; but the veins showed up dark blue, almost black and bulged, in the right arm while showering myself. Well, there’s no one else to shower with! Hahaha! The pins were still thin, with far less fluid retention. And I could not see any new blood papsule, spots, bruises or blotches on the leg at all! Smug-Mode-Adopted!

While showering, I decided to have a hobble to Arnold. This walk used to take me about one and a quarter hours to complete. (Today, it took me three hours!)

Mind you, I was not rushing and had to stop a few times, thanks to Dizzy Dennis’s visiting en route. I was well-pleased with myself.

Surprised as well! Hopefully, after the stroke. Things are beginning to improving at last? Fingers crossed!

I took some black bags to the waste chute. Got dressed for the trip out. Tea shirt and sleeveless jacket on. Took the three-wheeler trolley and the umbrella, just in case. Not that I can control this guide when using a brolly, but I can stop and shelter if needed (It wasn’t).

A call to the Porcelain Throne was answered. Unsuccessfully on this occasion. Rock-solid again! No actual movement, just some wind escaping. Ah, well!

Down in the lift, with the trolley. No signs of any CIDP bother in the hands, arms or legs. Just the shoulder doing a bit of jiggling about now and then. Things were good!

Out of the foyer, onto Chestnut Way, over the road and up the gravel path to the park.

The day was perfect for a hobble, too. Not too hot, not a lot of bright sunshine. Getting up the footpath, needed a couple of stops, as Dizzy Dennis gave me some bother. But I put the brakes on and enjoyed the, oh, so beautiful petrichor.

I turned left at the top, down the trolley-wheel-grottifying, leaves, seeds, twigs and muddy walk-way.

The view across Woodthorpe grange Park to the North was beautiful. I took this picture on the left. I hadn’t felt so contented in ages.

But it didn’t last too long!

By the time I had reached Mansfield Road through the park, the three-wheeler wheels were in a right state again! No wonder I’m becoming a euphobiaphile. Good-luck never stays long with me, but I enjoy it while it lasts. Mishaps, misfortune, misery and misdoings, are more my thing. Haha!

So, I cleaned the wheels as best I could. Then set out North. Along Mansfield Road. The lack of traffic on the roads had me thinking for a while. Then it dawned on me, that the ankle-snappers and drug-taking, alcoholic, car-stealing teenagers were off of school for their holidays. So, I slowly made my way towards Daybrook.

Dizzy Dennis called again to visit me. He stayed a little longer this time. But left me with no after-effects.

The weather really was perfect for a walk. Albeit a slow, rambling, interrupted one.

Along by Sainsbury’s and into Arnold.

I made my way to Worall Avenue, then down to Front Street. Where I called into the Saver shop, to see if they had any of the Colgate Foam toothpaste that I have started using. Got one for 99p! And, Erasmic shaving foam, and a roll of waste bags. Then made my way to the Asda Walmart store.

I struggled to carry all I had bought to the self-serve tills. I remembered to tell the assistant of the bag I bought on Monday, that had a large slit in it. She swapped it for a new one. There was no tutting or sneering from her, then again, this wasn’t a Lidl shop. A touch of sarcasm and Lidl-bashing there, sorry!

I bought far too much stuff to fit into the bag and pathetically small basket on the three-wheeled trolley. Serves me, right! The purchases: A bag of marshmallows, fresh tomatoes, mini cheese-pickle pork pies, rice, milk, bacon fries (2 bags), jar of beetroot (A different brand, in hopes that these will not be as hard as ball-bearing, like the Asda ones I bought on Monday!), Sliced apples and a reduce in price triple DVD of The Men in Black.

The stomach began to grind again. I thought when I get to the bus stop, I’ll eat one of the mini pies. That may ease the tummy-twangs.

I paid up. And as I walked out through the doors into the alleyway and went over the drain covers… boy oh boy, the miasma didn’t-half pen-and-ink something rotten!

Walking up the hill to the car park, to get to the bus stop, and Dizzy Dennis gave me his last bot of the day. I had to pull-up three times on the steeper bits.

When I managed to get up to the Front Street bus stop, a lolly surprise! The old broken down bench had been replaced!

I took advantage, and got myself sat down. I opened the small pork & pickle pork pie pack – say that when you’ve had a few, Hehehe! Before I knew it, three of them had been consumed. Guilty-Mode-Adopted! On the bus going home to the flats, I ate another one of the pies!

As I got off the bus on Chestnut Way, the driver asked me to take some Metro papers to hand out, so I took some with me. I got off of the bus with the trolley and shopping bag, without any bother. I had a little few words with Cyndy and some other residents.

Going into the lobby, there was (I think), Gaynor, Mo, Brenda and Herbert sat there. “Would you like a Metro?” I asked each of them in order. The first three all said thanks and took one. Herbert, he just gave me a sneer and a humph, then waved me away, as he muttered something or other quietly!

I got in the flat and ate the last of the mini pork pies, as I put the kettle on. Oh, dear! So I decided not to have a meal tonight. Increased-Guilty-Mode came over me!

I got the hand-washing done, rinsed an hung up to dry. Then, I tried to do some cleaning in the kitchen, but the fatigue came over me. The stomach started to grind away again.

I got the medications taken, with an extra Senna tablet.

I settled to watch TV in unwavering faith that I would fall asleep. But no.

After a while, I got up to do the blog.

Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 31st July 2019: Indoors day – no problem though, the rain was persistent!

Wednesday 31st July 2019

Italiano: Mercoledì 31 Luglio 2019

23:50hrs: I stirred, rather too enthusiastically really, I immediately made a grab for the walking stick, (In need of a wee-wee!) knocking over a bottle of spring water and the Pain-Gel tube, off of the Ottoman! Freed my cumbersome blobby overblown, crassulent stomached and skinny limbed body, out of the £300, c1968, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, second-hand, recliner. I kicked the empty plastic bottle on the way to the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). The bottle rebounded back as it hit the shelving, and very nearly fell into the bucket! That would have been a right good laugh. But it didn’t. Almost a worthy of printing humorous tale there in the making. Hehehe!

I had a USUWSS (Ultra-Slow-Uncontrollable-Weak-Sprinkly) wee-wee. No control over anything again, I had to just wait for the end to come. Checking every so often to see if things had stopped flowing yet. Well, flowing is too strong a word, more sort of a scintilla of a trickle. That best describes how things went. Tsk!

I took the bucket with me to the kitchen and reviewed the handwashing hanging above the sink. As I appreciated how wet it still was, it dawned on me what the time was! I’d risen a little too early again. But, I got four hours of sleep in, so not too bad.

I got the kettle on, took the medications and got the sphygmomanometer from the medical drawer, and did the health checks. Very pleasing, almost perfect results this morning. Apart from the body temperature, which remains a little low, at 34.2°c. Olive oiled the ear-holes, sprayed the eyes and rubbed in some pain gel on the new unfathomable as to why pain in the lower arm. But, not to worry, these things happen. Took the Macrogol sachet in water. These don’t taste as pleasant as the Movicol ones, but they are much more effective. I’ll say…

As I was taking the tea into the computer room, I had to divert to the wet room for a Porcelain Throne session. What a blessed relief! The easiest evacuation in weeks!

I washed and got to the computer, and looked up this (to me) wonder-drug. I got this information: Compound Macrogol Oral Powder has electrolytes that help to maintain your body’s normal levels of sodium, potassium, and water while you are being treated for constipation and it works by softening your faeces, making it easier to pass. In general, this drug is used for the treatment of constipation, especially if you have been constipated for a long time. And boy, have I! “The faecal impaction diagnosis should be confirmed by appropriate physical or radiological examination of the rectum and abdomen”? – Side-effects: Too many to fit in my blog space! Hehe! Of course, I understood all of this advice. (Inchcock-Fib-Detected!)

I got the computer on, and read a WordPress comment from my photographicalisational hero, Tim Price.

Who kindly gave me the story behind the Dagwood Sandwich meals, like the one one I had last night.

As he said later; Unless one is familiar with the comic, a Dagwood sandwich is meaningless. He gave this link to it:

Dagwood Sandwich Explained!

I delved into updating the Tuesday post. The fingers, hands, arm, shoulder, and legs were all in a good mood, and only gave me the hassle in small quantities and not very often, in fact, they were the best-behaved more than they have been for ages! But I mustn’t get too excited. Haha!

After getting the blog all finished and posted off, I treated myself to a mug of the Glegettie Best tea! The rain was coming again, and I ventured into the balcony, to take a couple of moody photographs.

I made a start on this post next. The nerve ailments all being kind to me still. The rain was still falling, but much lighter now.

Then for a break, I went on the TFZer Facebooking and photo galleries to update. Wat a marathon session that was! I’m tired, drained, feeling hungry (The corn flakes might get attacked next) and happier than I have been for a while.

The corn flakes; that turned out to be Honey-Nut corn flakes, they did get attacked! Hehe!

After I had taken the photograph of the rare Inchcock breakfast, the fingers began to play up again, and I inadvertently took another new picture. Ah, wellski!

I pondered on how to cook the remaining shoulder steaks. After much dilly-dallying, and humming and hawing, I opted for marinating them in black bean sauce, for a few hours. Then cook them in the oven. I added a sprinkle of mixed herbs on top of them. An experimental effort that I hope comes out alright. I’ve some freshly-podded garden peas soaking in a saucepan with a spoonful of demerara sugar in the water. A giant potato, to be chopped up and mixed with some cheese, to round off the meal. If I bite them, I’ll have some of the Asda (Walmart) ball bearings as well. Oh, I mean, beetroot. Hehe! But that’s a long way off yet.

The rains still fall, and the digits were still dancing and jumping!

So, I watched some car crash clips on YouTube while I ate the corn flakes. Ah, the luxury! I even had a rice cake to follow!

Washed the pots, had only the third wee-wee in over eight hours! Every one of them of the newly arrived substandard USUWSS (Ultra-Slow-Uncontrollable-Weak-Sprinkly) variety.

I went on CorelDraw to do some more graphics and Thoughts in advance.

First though, another wee-wee, of the same style, USUWSS. I think I’ve had about four watery evacuations since cleaning the bucket, and the bucket isn’t a quarter-full yet!

After the wee-wee, I went out on the balcony and took a picture of the rain outside. No window opening, I was doing so well this happy up-to-now day, I didn’t want to risk losing any chunks of any finger, to the metal spring-clip opener!

Then, I got on with serious work of graphicationalisationing! I got a couple of each completed before the fatigue, set in.

I got the dinner made up and served. Cheesy potatoes with red Leicester cheese, gherkins, red and yellow tomatoes, rock-hard beetroot, fresh garden peas, and two shoulder steaks with BBQ marinade and mixed herbs.

It took a while to prepare, (and a long time to clean up afterward). But I ate it all, over a long period of time. It took some getting through. Hehe! A Flavour rating of 7.2/10 given. I thought I’d better not eat any bread, so I had a couple of the rice-cakes.

As I was doing the pot washing later, all hell-let-loose with the CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). However, even at the time, I appreciated it going easy on me while I grahicationalisationing earlier. The leg seemed to be trying to do the occasional Locomotion, Hokey-Cokey and Tango dancing! The shoulder was keeping the beat, rhyme with the pin! The finger-ends alternated twixt no feelings and electric shock-like jumping. The arm shooting about was uninterested in joining in, this time.

Over about a ten-minute period, I dropped and broke the blue cereal bowl, sent the washing up sponge-stick flying, let the washing-up liquid bottle slip through my fingers, and lost and nearly fell over the walking stick! There might have been other mishaps, but this is all I can recall at the time of typing this! It was a long time this attack. I actually felt tired-out when it finished. But I wasn’t down about it, after all, the earlier parts of the day, the nerves were most gentle with me, really.

No handwashing was done, too weary, it would have to wait. I was convinced that once settled down, I would easily nod-off. But, no! After two hours of Colin Cramps and a new tummy upset stabbing at me, I got up again, and made a brew, a few swigs of the antacid medicine, and then made a start on updating this blog. Humph!
