Inchcockski – Sunday 27th September 2020: Montezuma’s revenge, I shouldn’t eat Chilli-Con-Carne!

Fowl-Deeds at the TFZer Cool-It-Cabin? Hehe! ♥

Sunday 27th September 2020

Norwegian: Søndag 27 September 2020

02:00hrs. : I stirred into a mock, semi-awake state of mind, and soon discovered that I needed a wee-wee. I could see the OGPEB (Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Bucket) had not been used from where I lay, which was a bonus for me, cause I can now nip to the wet room, without having to take the pale to be cleaned and sanitised with me. As I rolled sideways to remove my preponderantly, over-bulky-stomached body from the £300, second-hand, c1968, nauseatingly-beige coloured recliner. Suddenly, there no time to even catch my balance now, I could sense the PMAD Pre-Micturition Dribble, was doing its best to escape, so a hasty-hobble to the wet room was made.

I got in the room, dropped the PPs, and thought I was going to let rip a torrential, intense blast of wee-wee into the bowl. But, no! A weak sprinkling for a few seconds and that was it? This felt all wrong. Hey-ho! I washed the hands slowly, just in case any after-leaking started, there was no more.

As I made my way to the kitchenette, I noticed than many of the regular ailments were more noticeable by their absence, this morning, up to now, anyway! Arthur Itis, SSS, (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley) and Anne Gyna to start with! But the oddity of the pathetic wee-wee, tells me something is brewing from the innards. A twinge here and there from the bowels! So I didn’t adopt any Smug-Mode!

I’d put the *Nokia camera on a charge, so I took a photo from the kitchen window with the complicated top learn Kodak camera. *Ah, just noticed, this, I meant, Nikon camera! I used the Night setting. It’s even worse than the Nikon and Canon at night shots! Tsk!

I was about to make a start on doing the Health checks – and the bladder tried to release its load straight away! A panic flap, and rush to the wet room, hitting my right shoulder en route, Argh!, but got there with seconds to spare (Just). I was fortunate in making it in time – wet, sloppy yet so quick and painful. I pinned the blame on myself, for having the Chilli-con-carne for my nosh, last night! Mind you, Tim Price told me a good chilli would clear me out – he was right!

Cleaning myself took long enough, but the splashed all over the bowl mess, took ages as well!

But at least only one flush was required… I can tell, there will be more visits during the day.

Back to the kitchen, and got on with Health Checks. The sphygmomanometerisationing results were a bit scary! I think I’ve used the wrong photo here? I thought the SYS was at 167 on the machine?

Then the stick thermometer gave me a really low reading, then? Am I perhaps on my last legs here? Ready for the Great Leader above to call me to his side?  Not that this would be a problem, I’ve a few questions I’d like to ask him about.

Made a brew Thompsons Punjana, and another dash to the Porcelain Throne (2)! A repeat performance again. I got a feeling of deja vu! Although the evacuation was of a tad smaller in volume, still wet and splashy, mind. The cleaning up took a lot longer this time, for some reason.

The personal cleaning was awfully painful, Harold’s Haemorrhoids were almost screaming out loud! Hehehe! The innards were beginning to stab at me a bit, I think there are still some actions to come.

Made a brew of Glenbgettie Gold tea, and had to rush back to the Porcelain-Throne again (3)! Oh, dearie me! The last of the ‘good’ toilet paper has now been used-up! I’m onto the thin cheap crap from Amazon now. Resulting in an even bigger mess to clean up tan last time. The same type of evacuation, but so much less and even quicker job. Still hurt though! Tsk!

The tea had gone cold, so made another drink of Thompsons Punjana, this time. Then I got Computer Cameron going. Going for another wee-wee, I noticed the Humidity & Temperature monitor, both were within the guidelines.

I used the Kodak, and it produced a nothing-it-looked-like, to the eye, photo of my right foot! As I didn’t see any shaded areas as I reviewed the shot through the eye-lens, everything looked bright and clear. Klunglefrazzles! I think the auto flash on the Kodak made the feet look worse than they were.

I updated yesterday’s blog, not much left that needed doing. Made a drink of Glengettie, had a wee-wee and Pinterested some pictures.

Then, I had to visit the Porcelain Throne (4th) again, and it required some swift, dextrous moves on my behalf, to get there in time before the onslaught of an evacuation started! I’m getting worn-out with these visits, and all the sanitising and cleaning up that accompany each one! Schluberdubersnarl!

Got the updating finished and sent off. Then onto Facebooking catch-up, that took a long time. On the WordPress Reader, some great stuff on there today. Comments, and Winwood Heights Facebook page. Got a template made for the blog. Then went to make a brew…

Then, I had to revisit the Porcelain Throne, the 5th one of the day! At last, there were indications that the attack was easing, far less content this time, but it was messier than ever, and Harold’s Haemorrhoids were suffering something rotten! Got the place and myself cleaned up again.

Back to the computer, and spent a couple of hours sorting out the graphics on CorelDraw. I’m not sure if its the programme, the computer, or me; but things keep moving from one folder to another in just one file? Probably me!

Now, weak and weary and weak, I decided to get the Ablutions done, it felt like they were really needed! Well, they were required, a damned good freshening shower and the loofa and glove will be well used! Then, guess what?

Yes, back on the Porcelain Throne (6th time this morning). Still messy, but less content methinks. I had a good clean up, as the tummy still rumbled. I suppose the problem arose from my having the Chilli-Con-Carne last night. I wondered why I’d not had any for months, I remember why now. Hahaha! I’ll check the cupboard later, and dish any cans of chilli that I find. Tsk!

I utilised the lemon-fresh air-spray and set about the ablutionisationing.

  • Doing the teeth, I found another split in a tooth, that’s four teggies with problems now, they’re not many left, either. Toothache Terence played up, of course. Three dropsies.
  • Great shaving session, only one small cut, and just two dropsies!
  • The showering went without dropping the showerhead – mind you there were four other dropsies. The worst, being the little-slim last bar of carbolic soap, it shattered into tiny pieces? Can’t get anymore now. So I used the lemon bar, not that I can smell any lemon in it! Humph!
  • Just the one knock against the grab bar as I retrieved the loofa from the deck. And it didn’t set SSS off either. I think the brain-pain department is worried more over the bout of the Chilli-prompted Diahorrea.
  • The medicationalisationing, as to be expected, was so painful. Well, the rear end was. The furuncle had been obliterated by the outcoming torrents from the bowels, I couldn’t even feel it this morning? Poor old Harold’s Haemorrhoids suffered the most, bleeding and stinging without any respite. Brunglebogles!

I got some hand-washing done in the kitchen sink. Used the dark-clothing liquid I got from the Bargain Shop in town. When I picked it up, I thought there must have been a leak, cause it’s the first time I’ve used the bottle, the seal seemed okay, but it was half-empty? Brunglebogs! Perhaps I can apportion blame to the mysterious wonders of Woodthorpe Court: The ghosts, hobgoblins, boll-weevils, aliens, gremlins, grotesqueries, urchins, karakia-cursing entities, hallucinations. Materialisations, poltergeist, lemures, wairuas, kehuas, manifestations that permeate, pass through the pores and interstices of space, through the time-continuum. Usually, without rupture or displacement within the building. To cause havoc, fear and frustration, as they dislodge time itself, in their aspirations and skulduggery, to complete their given by Satan mission; To destroy the sanity, confuse, and scare the hell out of Inchcock? Tsk!

I had a look at the latest figures for the Coronavirus in Nottingham. It as not looking so good. The 154 figure is for the last 7 days.

With stomach aching and grinding away, I started this blog going. But soon realised the time, and had to stop, as Josie’s Sunday lunch needed preparing, so I washed the hands well, dried them, and got on with it.

I was proud of this week’s cheesy potatoes, chives, Squid vinegar, Leicester Cheese, and a knob of Morrison’s best Brittany butter with sea-salt, all went into the mix. The fish in batter, garden peas, Surami sticks, tomatoes, Marmite cheese and beetroot finished off the plate. Added some chocolate bars and a can of pink gin and tonic on the tray. Made my way to Josie’s door with the feast.

On my way to her door, I suddenly felt a little poorly, weak, and oh, so tired. Josie mentioned that I looked rather qualmish. (I must look what that means later, Hehe!) She okayed the look of the meal, and we swapped hellos then farewells. I wanted to let her get the meal while the fish, garden peas and cheesy potatoes were still warm.

I took to the smell of the fish in-batter I’d served Josie. And I decided to have the same myself. Although it was early, I thought it an idea to get my nosh now, and refill the frequently-emptied innards, plus I was suddenly feeling so weary and tired, I knew there was a chance of my falling asleep the moment I got settled down. This was a good idea, for I sensed the body was telling me it needed to rest and recuperate.

I took the medications early and prepped my own nosh. Fish in batter, Surami, tomatoes, garden peas and the leftover cheesy potatoes from Josies. Two tiny tubs of mousse as well. To my own amazement, I ate the lot!

I washed the pots and settled down in the £300, second-hand, c1968, unstable, pukingly-beige-coloured, most-uncomfortable, no-longer working, heavy, yet tottery, rickety, rusty, rachitic, recliner.

That was it for me, the day was done. I spent about six hours, drifting-off to sleep and waking again! On the plus side, despite the rumbling from the innards, there were no more calls to the Porcelain Throne. I gave up trying to get and stay asleep and got up at 02:00hrs.

Montezuma’s revenge, the huckleberry two-steps, or dysentery, call it what you will, but worra terrible, testing, Trotski’s trying, torrential-teeming, Porcelain-Throne record attending, day!

Friday 25th September 2020: The Go-Wrongables were Rampant again. Glumbleclops!

TFZers Making a Film, perhaps? ♥

Friday 25th September 2020

Welsh: Dydd Gwener 25ain Medi 2020

23:58hrs (Yesterday): I woke, thanks to some noise that sounded like someone tapping hard with a stick on the floor, came from above? It may have been something in the water-works I suppose? It could have been going on for a while and did not bestir me earlier, but the five clunks, with a few seconds between them, I heard without my hearing aids in? I had to get up and have a look around, well, a wee-wee first, then I took a look outside, and in the flats lobby, but I’ve no idea what it was or where it came from, other than somewhere above. Ah, the mysterious wonders of Woodthorpe Court: The ghosts, hobgoblins, boll-weevils, aliens, gremlins, grotesqueries, urchins, karakia-cursing entities, hallucinations. Materialisations, poltergeist, lemures, wairuas, kehuas, manifestations that permeate, pass through the pores and interstices of space, through the time-continuum. Usually, without rupture or displacement within the building. To cause havoc, fear and frustration, as they dislodge time itself, in their aspirations and skulduggery, to complete their given by Satan mission; ‘To destroy the sanity, confuse, and scare the hell out of Inchcock,’ was back attacking again! I hope it wasn’t noisy-Herbert trying to get help. Certainly not fireworks this time.

Feeling a little like Stan Laurel, I blinked, and made my way aimlessly to the kitchen, blurry-eyed, and annoyed that I could not find anything out about the midnight-tapping.

And got on with the Health Checks. The stick thermometer gave another decent reading of 34.8°c for me.

Then I got the sphygmomanometer from the medical cupboard and utilised it. Oh, dearie me, the flipping SYS was up again! Will it ever come withing range again! So, there’s no ♫ Home, home on the range ♫ for me then? Hahaha!

By gum, it’s not-half nippy this morning!

I got mini-potatoes, that seemed a little large for mini-potatoes to me, in the crock-pot, and added some of the Squid brand vinegar to marinate for a while.

Got the computer going, and got ready to update the Inchcock Today diary.

But, could I find where my reading glasses were?  No! I even got down (foolishly) on my knees to have a look underneath the cabinet, in case they’d fallen off.

Getting back up was a challenge, but I managed it with only Back-Pain-Brenda giving me any bother, mind you, it hurt!

After a search around in silly places, I decided I’d have to wear the old ones and cope as best I could. I can have an in-depth forage around for the misplaced new spectacles later on. As I settled again, there they were, to my right, two-and-a-half feet away from me, there they were! I did feel like a right fool, idiot, pillock, dumbo, plonker, wassock and putz! But these are frequent emotions of mine nowadays. One gets partially-used to the stupidity and memory-loss.

Herbert accompanied me with his frequent drumming noises, as I pressed on with sorting out the photo’s to use. And a few hours later, I got the Thursday blog finalised. What a slog that was, Humph! I emailed the links, went on the WordPress Reader, Pinterested some snaps, made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea, then went on a mammoth Facebook updating session.

Made up a template, then made the Sainsburys order for next week, Wednesday 30th Sept, twixt 7-8 a.m. Put it on the Google calendar. And tended to the ablutionalisationing.

–: Not such a good session this time, I’m afraid. Toothache Trevor kicked off. 3 dropsies.

Then a few nicks shaving, many dropsies, the foam can twice, and I lost count of the razor’s dropsies. I was on the verge of giving up and trying later! Gragnangles! But I stuck at it.

Next, the showering was a bothersome and painful affair. The showerhead went down, clouting Arthur Itis’s left knee en route to the floor! I had two bangs into the grab rail, hip and head when I went to pick-up the thrice dropped carbolic soap! As I came out of the shower I did a double – I walked into the sock-glide, and stubbed my toe against the metal shower-chair at the same time! This session certainly made up for the previous two easy-going ones!

On a brighter note, the legs I thought were looking a lot better today.

But I wasn’t bothered, it didn’t hurt much, I didn’t start using naughty language, or feeling sorry for myself, oh, no. Ahem!

After the sock-glide incident, things calmed down. Dizzy Dennis departed, and I got on with the towelling down and medicalisationing. Which both went marvellously? Not knocking anything over or walking into anything, the furuncle was dying off I think, cause it gave no pain at all! Harolds Haemorrhoids were not too fierce at all! Yee-Ha!

I got the computer closed down, to give it time to cool down. And got a load of waste-bags made up. I’m not taking the recycling bag, although it is nearly full, cause I don’t want top miss window cleaner Pete, calling. I got a bag for dropping off at Jenny and Franks on the three-wheeler, ready to go to the chute. I had a check around before leaving, to monitor the state of the taps (faucets), heaters, stove, lights, doors, sink plugs etcetera.

Out to the rubbish room with the bags, and got them down the chute, I had a bit of bother doing this, because Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters had started failing again, so I had to take care; that iron chute-lid can be lethal!

I got to the lift lobby and was soon down on Jenny’s floor. Dropped the bag near the door of their flat, and as I came out, Frank appeared at the door. He was looking in rude health bless him. I wished him a happy Christmas from a distance, he returned the best wishes and laughed. I love it when folks laugh spontaneously.

Getting the elevator back up to the twelfth floor, was a nightmare. It must have taken me half-an-hour! (At least it felt like it!) The contractor lift arrived, which we are not allowed to use, a chap in it said something to me, but I didn’t catch what he was saying, but he seemed in a good mood.

The Residents lift arrived and had two people in it, they were not wearing masks, so I declined their offer of getting in with them.

The cage went down to the ground floor, then started coming up, it went by the ninth floor I was at, and came down again, with a chap in it, he had no mask on wither, I politely declined his offer, telling him I was after going up, not down.

The lift went down to the 4th floor and stayed there for yonks. Eventually moving down to the ground floor, then up the top floor, and started coming down, and was on the 13th floor for ages. I expected people to be in it and got ready to explain I was going up when the cage stopped, but there was no one in it?

It came back up, (I needed another shave by then, Hahaha!) and it was empty, I got in and back up to my level.

As I got out, the need of a wee-wee, made me hasten a little and going through the flat’s foyer door, I clouted my right shoulder on the frame. When I got in the apartment, a Nottingham City Homes Newsletter had been delivered. I didn’t know what it was, but it looked official to me, and I feared it might be the appointment for either the bladder or bowel scan. I didn’t read it yet, I hadn’t got the time to.

I got the kettle on, well, I had the wee-wee first, of course, to make room for the brew. Haha!

I rebooted the computer, and a Your Area Newsletter had arrived.

So, I had a look at the latest Coronavirus figures for Nottingham. It was a smidge confusing for me. As you might know, I have trouble with number calculations, this started after I’d had the stroke.

Arithmophobia it’s called. Or is it Dyscalculia? Or both? I’ll look it up on Google.

My problem must be Dyscalculia. I found this article. Czechoslovakian researcher Ladislav Kosc defined the disorder as, A structural disorder of mathematical abilities” caused by impairment to the parts of the brain used in mathematical calculations. With the stroke, it makes sense, to me. But I waffle again, sorry!

Then, I found later that it must be correctly stated as ‘Acquired Dyscalculia’: It read; Usually acquired as the result of a stroke or injury. Another ailment that will need naming, and I can use to sound more intelligent than wot I am really. Har-har!

On the ‘Your Nottingham’ emailed report, it gave this statement and updated figures for the Coronava statistics in Nottingham. Neither of the publications gives a very bright, or encouraging viewpoint, do they? Anti-Gloom tablets needed? Hehehe!

It’s 14:40hrs now. No signs of Pete, the window cleaner, and its getting towards my nosh and head-down time. I’ve been up for 14 hours or so, now. Thanks to being woken up at midnight. Just thought I’d mention it again!

I rang Frank and Jenny, Frank was there, but Pete did them and left them hours ago. So I don’t know whether to make the nosh and get my head down or not? Will he be calling? Did my getting stuck waiting for a lift cause me to miss him? Oh, shit!

I took some photos of the beautiful late afternoon clouds. Very nice they looked too, but I didn’t really appreciate it, with not knowing what’s going on with the windows, and dare not go to bed, in case Pete arrived.

I rang Jenny again, in the hope that she knew something about the window cleaner’s situation. But, no answer.

Feeling a bit down now! Going to try and get a graphic done… Hello, the landline ringeth and flashes! It was from Jenny. She’s found out what had happened, for me. Apparently, Pete went up to the 13th floor by mistake. And someone told him they didn’t want the windows doing! Claptickleisation! I’m a lucky bugger!

Thank heavens for Jenny! ♥

So, I got on with making the meal.

The Jenny supplied yellow tomatoes, and onions tasted. The Irish potato farls were too.

I got the pots washed, took a wee-wee, got washed and imbibed the evening medications. Then, down in the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly beige-coloured, unkempt, fluctuant, ramshackle, broken-down, uncomfortable, dusty, rusty, decaying, tatterdemalion, heavy yet tottery, rickety recliner.

It wasn’t long, before my frustrated brain, and incapacitated, over-stomached, wobbly-bellied body, was safe in the hands of Sweet Morpheous. Better late than never! Bliss!

Inchcock -Thurs 24 Sept 2020: A sort of No Win day. Humph!

TFZers having a get-together? ♥

Thursday 24th September 2020

Catalan: Dijous 24 de Setembre de 2020

03:20hrs: On my regaining consciousness, I feared straight away that I would not make it in time to take the urgently needed wee-wee. Determined to save having to change the PP’s in case of any escapages, and the self-embarrassment, I fumbled my way, out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety, rusty recliner, and hauled by stomach on legs to the wet room, as fast as I could manage. And, without any walking into any doorframes! Smug-Mode-Considered, but not adopted, yet.

The fact that there was the OGPEB (Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Bucket) that I passed en route that I could have used didn’t dawn on me until later. (What a clot!) The mode of wee-wee was an RSP (Reluctant-Sprinkly-Painful) one, and soon over with. Still, there were no PMD (Pre-Micturition-Dribbles) leakages. I then engaged a mini-smug-mode! Cleaned up and off to the kitchenette.

I got the Health Checks done first. A bit of a shock from the sphygmomanometer SYS reading results; back up to 163. now. Tsk! DIA 83 and Pulse at 82, both seemed highly acceptable figures to me.

The stick-thermometer showed up a temperature of 34 point something or other, celsius. Not one of my betterer photographicalisations! Things seem to be at the whim of nasty young  Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters again, at present.

I bravely opened the window, to try to take three similar shots of the view, in different modes; I want to find out which is the best one for night shooting. But every time I try this, they come out different to the morning before’s efforts? I think I have reached my peak in photography, the ailments and stroke have to be acknowledged as the main perpetrators of this calamitous failure! Hey-ho!

Five hours later, when creating this blog: Oh, dearie me, I’ve just Published this by mistake! Nicodemus’s fault again! I get annoyed sometimes!

So, I copied it with a different title, then deleted (binned) it. And wallah! I can carry on again. Ay-yay-yay! What an Eizel! A positive Putz! Shlimazel, Shlump and Shmegegge!

I took a photographicalisation from te unwanted, letting rain-in, thick-framed, impossible to get at to clean for old folk, designed by an uncommunicative sadistic Gerontophobic, in hopes that injuries will ensue to the elderly residents, window, of straight down on Chestnut Walk.

I made a brew of Glengettie. Took the medications, and returned to the front room and got the computer going, to start updating yesterday’s diary of woe.

But, no! The flaming Microsoft Pictures ap, would not find or read photographs at all! Argh!

After another wasted hour or so, it started working. I’d like to think this was due to my brilliant, cunning, changing options and searching for help on the web – but it wasn’t. I had no idea what the heck I was doing. Gragnangles!

I got the photos loaded and doctored to suit me, and despite Nasty-Nicolas’s Neurotransmitters, I got the updating finished. I’ve felt better and fitter after a gruelling game of squash than I do at the moment! I hate computers, no doubt because I can’t fully understand them? Like with the new camera, I’m at a loss!

—: As I was about to make a fresh brew, the innards stung at me, and a movement from the bowels started off on its own, or rather the innards rangatiratanga, against the door frame! Shame! Got seated and the action began, slow. Painful and massive! As I took a look so I could fill in all the questions on the Bowel Movement log, I was gobsmacked to see thick white streaks in it! I’ll not go into any more detail. Just to say, it frits me!

A thorough clean around, hand-scrubbing and back to the computer! Taking extreme care in getting through the doorway!

I got the Email-link sent off. Then on Facebooking catch-up. The WordPress Reader section, and Pinterested some of the photographs. The updating took me longer than it ever has before! A bit like going to the toilet, really. Hahaha!

07:50hrs: And Herbert was up and about, judging by the clunking and tap-tapping coming from above. If he wasn’t so taciturn and snobbish, I’d love to ask him what it is he’s making, this time.

As I started to update this template, a repeat performance from the rear-end arrived. I really fell off of the swivel chair in my haste to the wet room. And what a difference this time. Even more painful, but so much quicker, Shplurt and done! Messy this time. It came in broken sections and had sunk out of view, and that’s a first for many months! So I couldn’t see if there were any of the white streaks in it. It was undoubtedly wetter and messier than the previous one – but why did it hurt so much? However, it was a rare second visit, so hard to guess.

Back to computing and wee-weeing. Haha! Not at the same time!

I’d not been going long when the landline burst forth. Aha, it was Jenny, bless her cotton socks. She’s arranged for the window cleaner to come and do me tomorrow. What an Angel! We had an enjoyable good long chinwag, a laugh, a moan, and she really cheered me up!  Thanks, Jenny! ♥ You’ll never know how much you brightened my day!

As I put down the phone, I knocked the pen and pad off of the desk. Thinking it was a good idea, I continued to replace the handset, and I saw the long picker-up on the flat airing bars, “I’ll use that” I said… As Robbie Burns wrote, “The best-laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men, Gang aft agley”!

– I knocked the waste bin over fetching the grabber, and had a right mess to sort out! Tsk! I think I might have said something like; ‘Well, fancy that!’

I was well-late in getting the ablutions done. So, off to the wet room! And I thought yesterdays session went well. But I was even luckier today. Teeth cleaning, hardly any pain from Toothache Terence. Shaving, one, yes, just one nick! (I even went into a super Smug-mode, typing this, Haha!) The showering had not gone as well for months, no bangs falls or knocks, and zero dizzies. Just a few dropsies, soap, flannel. (Smug-Mode Upgraded to Defcon Three!) The legs were as near to normal as they have been for years now!

The drying off was easy and accident-free! Ah, the medicationalisationing, well that was the only real bother. The furuncle started to bleed and puss-out a tad, that was a painful experience. Harold’s Haemorrhoids bled a bit. But the worst was putting the PP’s on, I had a loss of balance when I went down, I caught the furuncle on the corner of the floor cabinet. I apologise to anyone who might have heard my ‘Argh’ followed by a naughty word! But it didn’t half sting!

Gone midday already now. With so many Whoopsies and Accifauxpas, and a lot of time sorting them out, I was going down in spirits, but I thought of Jenny, and her brave outlook on things, and it stopped the rot.

Back on the computerisationing. Must find time to do at least two more graphics for the page headers, and make another template for tomorrow. I’ll make a start on it now. Back in a bit, I hope, anyway. Haha! Got on CorelDraw and began creating.

Only one done. I made it too complicated a graphic, and got involved in creating something for far too long. Then had a look at the latest Coronavirus figures, and turned off to get the nosh done.

The canned pork knuckle, various tomatoes, fries, garden peas and beetroot salad made up the meal.

Flavour-Rating was given of 8.8/10, that knuckle is tasty enough for Her Majesty, although it will most likely be Pheasant and Port she’ll be having for her supper. Hehe!

Herbert is still at it with his modelling. Klunk, tap, tap… I’d love to know what he’s making.

Had the first serving of the Iceland-bought ice-cream after. Not the best tasting I’ve had, but it made a nice change.

Washed medications and got down in the £300, second-hand recliner, to watch some more of the Dr Who DVD. But again, I kept nodding off and waking minutes later. So turned off the TV, and got ready for the Thought-Storms… but they didn’t come. Ye-Haa! But sweet Morpheus did.

Unfortunately, at precisely 23:55hrs, I was rudely awakened by several (Obviously loud, or I would not have heard them without my hearing aids in) tapping or knocking sounds. It reminded me of some TV programme where the Grandmother would tap her stick on the bedroom floor to get the families attentions. (Wish I could remember the name of the programme now) The knocks seemed to be coming from right above me (Herbert). About six of them, all paced-slowly, as if timed, or made by a machine? I was concerned, is Herbert knocking for help? Then I pondered over whether it was fireworks, and had to get up to check outside, but nothing seemed out of order. By then, any chance of getting back to sleep had dissipated, so I stayed up. Grobleknackerbangles!

Inchcock – Saturday 5th September 2020: An oddlymost, frustrating, natterless day. Humph!

TFZer gals, a cookin’! ♥

Saturday 5th September 2020

Hmong: Hnub Saturday Lub Cuaj Hli 5 Xyoo 2020

03:30hrs: Woke, wriggled out of the rickety recliner, with some haste. Caught my balance, got Metal Mickey, off to the wet-room, and the Porcelain Throne was utilised; with a difference today. The heavy-duty evacuation came out a light-green, the pain was excruciating, and the deep-red blood flowed so much, this doesn’t bode well at all. However, the most significant change in style was the tinkling (wee-weeing), started off before the big stuff, and lasted none-stop for a full couple of minutes after? And yet, there was no PMAD Post-Micturition After Dribble whatsoever? Trouble brewing here, methinks!

Washed and medicated things, and off to the kitchenette, and put the kettle on.

I took a picture of the morning view, capturing the distant moon, still clinging on high in the sky.

I used the stick thermometer to take my temperature. The photo I took of the result did not come out very good, as you can see where I added the figures, a 34.4°c reading. Which was fair enough for me, it’s a smidge higher than of late, but needed, methinks.

The sphygmomanometerisationing offered another high SYS reading for me. The Dia and Pulse seemed okay, though.

Then it was back to the wet room, for another wee-wee. A long one again, not powerful mind, more a persistent weak trickle, and once more, no PMAD to follow. I decided I would be commonsensible to prepare the OGPEB (Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Bucket) and bring out for use during the day, the leaking seemed as if it is going to continue, I thought. I disinfected the bucket, and left it close to the computer chair, just in case. (And, a good job too for it was more than much-used over the day. Tsk!) I took the medications and made a brew of Glengettie tea.

To Computer Cameron, and proceeded to get myself in a right pickle with things! My concentration was all over the place. SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley) was on and off bashing away at me suddenly for short periods. And, as for NN (Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters), well, they were also on and off so often, it was damned hard work getting anything done.

I seemed to be spending more time correcting mistakes than typing! I was jumping from graphicalising, checking things on the web, forgetting where I was or what I was doing after each of the many wee-wees, and updating the Saturday post, became a grind, more than the usual pleasure!

Then, bloody Grammarly kept changing the word-checker to USA English and needed to be changed back every time. Which meant exiting the blog, into the Settings and changing from the UK English, which it is set on, to Australian English, then back to UK English, and reset, every occasion when it went wonky on me!

My frustrations flowed, fermented, and flourished. Franglefurds!

However, through my resilience, determination, grittiness, and resolution, I got the updating finished! Well, alright, I stumbled on, in stupidity, blind-faith, making numerous mistakes and errors, correcting and cursing silently away, in between the wee-weeing, and somehow, miraculously got the job completed. I felt mentally drained, and my will-power and confidence were destroyed. Globknacklebangles!

Posted off to WordPress, went on the WP Reader section, Replied and commented of messages and comment, did some Facebooking (Another long job today), Pinterested some snaps, and went to make a brew. (I think you can take it that wee-wee’s were being taken throughout the morning)

I got some potatoes in the slow-cooker, on a low setting.

Made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea. And, very tasty it was too! Using the Sainsbury’s Full Cream Jersey cows milk!

I got out the last of the fresh garden peas and started podding away. I added a drop of the fish vinegar to the pans water.

I can report that Herbert above is in good form and not poorly. The Knock-knocking, scrape-scrape, and tap-tapping, was proof of this.

The nubilous sky looked so wonderful. I did a bit of nephelococcygia-ing. But my mind in the state it is in, I lost the figures and shapes I’d identified, but found others. You can see the moon still lingering in the second picture, that surprised me!

I made a start on this blog at long last (In between wee-wees!). After several hours of slow, mistake-ridden work, I returned to the kitchen to make another brew, this time Glengettie Gold. The cloud formations had changed now. But they looked just as pretty as ever, to me.

I saw the Kodak camera and thought I’d try again to find out how, or if there was a way for me to get it on charging. I used the shorter USB connection, from the camera to the computer-port, and connected it. But I didn’t know if it was working, because the camera has no lights showing on it?

After a while, I pulled out the lead and took my first picture with the new camera. If I am to use this Kodak, first I have to find out if it is charging or not (Not sure how to do this?) Then, discover how to change the picture size to like on the Nikon and Canon, to a broader type shape. But the instructions are just too small to read, even with the glasses and using the magnifying glass! Not that might matter, cause the camera might melt in a bit, then I’ll know this is not how to use the USB connection.

I wanted, like the other two cameras, to use a direct line to the socket for charging. I expected it to be useless. They had sent an American two-pin, fit-it-together-first plug in the box. But it does not fit our English sockets. I just don’t know if it is safe or working at all?

On the screen, the power (I think) bar just show up as plain grey? I toyed with it and got nowhere, then the head and eye dizzy came on. So, I’ll just leave it, hopefully charging for a while, and keep an eye on it for sparks, flashes, or fire bursting out. I keep touching it with the left hand for any signs of increased heat, none yet, so it might not be doing anything other than damaging the computer. I’m not in a good nor contented mood at the moment! Humph! I’m worried, frustrated, and confused, yes!

The sunshine has receded now, and the drizzle commencing.

I took a picture of the view of the scene, though the balcony, with the Canon camera. The Nikon is in charge. It’s got a flashing green light now. I’m going to look on the web to see if I can find what that means, back in a bit.

Aha, the light turns off when it is fully charged. Good!

Now I’ll try to find out about the Kodak Pixpro AZ 675. Back in a bit…

Well, I’ve found the light that should be lit when charging, but it’s not. So I took out the lead from the Nikon charger, and put that in the Kodak, and the light lit up?

I’ll leave it in and hope for the best, and keep checking the camera for heat, I hope it works safely.

No time left for farting around, I have to try and work out how to change things on the Kodak for the picture sizes and shapes at a later date. I have to get some graphics done for the IT page tops, I’ve none left ready to use now. Took the cameras off of charging. With my EQ telling me there’s no need to rush?

So, on to CorelDrawing. Too tired to continue – got nosh sorted, A decent nosh, rated at 7/10.

Took the evening medications and creamed certain areas in need if the same. Furuncles, Harold’s Haemorrhoids and the newly arrived whatever it is, under the armpit, a deep maroon lump, not a bruise, though?

Sleep? Ha! I couldn’t believe that my being so drained and tired, Sweet Morpheus denied me for hours! Hey-Ho!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 27th August 2020: Dépaysement for me, a day with two chinwags, Great!

TFZers at the ‘Cool-It-Cabin! ♥

Thursday  27th August 2020

German: Donnerstag, 27 August 2020

00:10hrs: I woke with a cruel mind-start and body-jerk, that immediately got Harold’s Haemorrhoids stinging something rotten!

But what was the expergefactor of my body and mind being so suddenly disturbed? I lay a second or two, waiting for the pain to reduce from the rear end, and listened intently for any noise, there was none. Well, the ‘Hum’ of course was present! I gingerly removed my abdominous, protuberant, jelly-like-bellied, beyond-its-sell-by-date, welmish body-mass from the rebarbative £300, c1968, second-hand, stomach-churningly beige-coloured rickety recliner. Metal Mickey in hand, I had a hobble around, hoping to find the cause of my sudden midnight return into semi-consciousness. No reasons, signs, or indications were found.

I returned to get the overnight bucket for emptying and had to use it one more time. Got it cleaned and sanitised, put the kettle on, and carried out the Health Checks. Got the sphygmomanometerisationing all done. The flipping Sys had shot up to 162 now! The ear-hole thermometer gave a reading of 84.3°c. I use the Canon camera to take this shot of the morning view, not a very good one, I’m afraid.

Made a brew of Glengettie tea, and got on the computer, to create a template. Then made a start on updating yesterday’s diary. It took me a long time, as so many photos from my enforced hobble last night had to be sorted and included. Hours later, I got it finished and posted off to WordPress. I’d only needed three wee-wees all the time I’d be updating. All of the SWP (Sprinkly-White-Painful) mode.

I made another brew, Thompsons Punjana this time. Pinterested some snaps used in the diary, and sent the link off, did a bit of Facebooking, read and responded to some comments, and visited the WordPress Reader section. While doing so, I felt the innards slowly brewing, and a slight ache eventually matured into stabbing pains.

Off to the Porcelain Throne, I limped. Hoping I can pass things this time. Fingers crossed!

Thunderisations! That session was one of the hardest ever! Tons of bleeding, and it cost me half-an-hour!

I decided to get the ablutions tended to, as I’d been so long with the evacuation.

I was extremely careful with the teeth cleaning. Two dropsies.

The shaving had two little nicks and four dropsies.

The washing then produced six dropsies. The drying off, just the one dropsy.

I got a black bag made up, and taken to the waste chute as soon as 08:00hrs arrived. Made a brew and got the paperwork for taking with me to see ILC, Riechsführeress, and Catwalk Model, Warden Deana, to ask her to phone the dentist and opticians for me. Oh, and the Chemist too.

Did some work on this blog while waiting for 09:15hrs when I must go to visit Deana. Out to the lift lobby, and down to the ground floor.

I was hobbling well this morning now, I met Mary on her way out, we nattered en route along Chestnut Walk, which was jolly nice, and I wished her well as she poddled to the bus stop. Then I nipped into Winwood Court lobby and called at the ILC (Independent Living Coordinators) Wardens interrogation cell, and Ballerina, Obersturmbannführeress Deana, was inside. She made some phone-calls for me;

  1. The opticians: Who asked some questions, and got me an appointment for Friday 4th September, at 09:40hrs.
  2. Then she rang the Dentist, the best they could offer was Thursday 5th November, at 08:30hrs.
  3. The chemist was contacted by Deana, who told her that the prescriptions would be delivered on Saturday 29th August, after 1700hrs.

I thanked her kindly, and I returned to get these dates in the calendar.

Had a mini-confab with Robert outside the flats. Then I watched a trail of dog walkers passing by to the park.

Perused the contractor’s notice board in the elevator lobby, and waited a good while to get the resident’s lift to arrive, to get back up to the flat.

This photograph below, right, is of the note left for whoever had torn up the window cleaners rota from the board the other day.

I got inside the flat and gave myself a wherret on the right ear-hole as I struggled to get the three-wheeler walker guide inside. Fool!

Made a brew of Glengettie tea, letting it go cold (Toothache!), and got the appointment dates down on the Google Diary while I thought about it.

Not that there is any chance that I would have forgotten, of course. Ahem!

Then I had a bash at creating some more Inchcock Today page top graphics on CorelDraw. Got the sad inspiration for the Inchies thoughts Ode, and made it up, sent it off to WordPress.

I got the meal prepped and served on the plate and tray, and all the time I was doing this, I’d left the hot water tap running. So, no hot water left! Tsk!

I actually fell asleep within seconds of settling! Fantastic!

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 26th August 2020: The day started with me being confused… it got worse!

Wednesday 26th August 2020

Zulu: ULwesithathu 26 Agasti 2020

02:45hrs: My slumber was rudely disturbed, and I lay there for a few moments in a state of hypnagogia, trying to understand what had shaken me so violently into this state of semi-consciousness? Perhaps I was dreaming, although I have no memories of my doing so?

As I wriggled my over-amply-sized bellied torso to have a look around for signs of anything that may have fallen over and created a noise, Harold’s Haemorrhoids let me know they were still unhappy. Hehe!

Guilt dawned, as I spotted the many signs of naughty, nasty, nauseating, nocturnal-nibbling! (Insecure-Contrition-Mode-Assumed!) Then the need for a wee-wee arrived. I rose shonkily onto my feet, got Metal Mickey, and stepped a few yards to the OGPEB (Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Bucket). Boy, it had been well used! And what a wee-wee, of the HLSBS (Hosepipe-Like-Sharp-Blasting-Splashback) variety!

I needed to have a good wash and change the PP’s, so off to the wet room, and got this done. While doing so, I needed two more wee-wees! But they were so different, OSU (Orange-Sprinkly-Unpainful) type, and without any of the Post- Micturition Dribbling at all? I certainly get a variety in my urinating activities, Haha!

I got to the kitchen and put the kettle on, and had to urgently return to the wet room for Porcelain Throne activities. Or, rather, a lack of action. I’ve gone from two days of liquified rushes (6 on one day) to the Throne, back to this morning’s robust meatballs, bleeding, starting and stopping, and such pain with it. I felt exhausted afterwards. But the cleaning and medicating had to be done. Grunglebogwash!

Back to the kitchenette, made the mug of Glengettie tea and left it to cool (toothache!).

Today’s Health Checks were done. The BP sys was somewhat high again. I’ve mentioned this to the Vampire nurse. The temperature was 33.8°f. I told Warden Deana as well. Took the tablets and medicines, I didn’t take any extra painkillers, but no doubt that Toothache Thomas will force me to later on.

I made up a template for WordPress, then I got on with updating yesterday’s blog. The occasional interference from Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley made it difficult at times. I spent ages correcting things, Tsk! I eventually got it done, Pinterested some snaps from the post, emailed the links, and to the louder than ever ringing in my ears of the ‘Hum’, made a start on this page.

During the whole of the updating process, I had to have six-more wees! Each one of a tinkling, dribbling style. Some hurt, others not? It’s no surprise that I’m losing it, lately!

I made a brew of Glengettie Gold tea, and took a photo of the morning view, which was blue! When I opened the window, things got blown off of the ledge, such was the force of the wind. Despite this, the Horrible-Hum could still be heard, louder than it’s been for a few days.

This must mean something weather-wise. Or not!

I took a blind photo down towards the Chestnut Walk car park. A free space again?

I returned to Computer Cameron, and then I went on the WordPress reader, then Facebooking.

Aha, time to get the ablutions tended to. Stripped off for the session, and thought how well the legs and feet were looking. The ulcer looked as if it had moved again, but it can’t have, surely?

Cleaning the teeth was a painful job. I must ask Oberstürmbannfuhreress, Warden and Independent Living Coordinator, Desk-Top Dancer Deana to phone the dentist and opticians for me later on.

The shaving was a little bothersome, dropsies galore, and a few minor cuts.

The showering turned out a painful event this time. I caught my right-hand knuckle against the grab bar as I went over from a Dizzy Dennis bout. It’s not the wound that bothers me, that’s nothing, just a few scratches, but not being able to correct the fall, that’s bothered me a smidge.

Getting towelled-off, I caught the little finger of my right hand against the cabinet corner. I think the cartilage damage, caused by my osteoarthritis in the fingers (I wonder if there’s a name for this?) is getting worse as time passes. Hey-ho!

However, the medicationalisationing went better than yesterday, and no bleeding from Harold’s Haemorrhoids!

I made up the waste and recycling bags, loaded them on the three-wheeled-walker, and made my way to the chute room in the lift lobby.

I deposited the four small bags, and unfortunately clouted the same cartilage damaged finger knuckles again, on the iron lift-lid as I did so!  I just may possibly have said something to the tune of “Oh, dear!” at the time. Ahem!

I poddled out of the room in reverse, there was no room to turn around in there since the upgrading work’s been done. Out with the large white bag and trolley to the elevator. Got the resident’s lift almost immediately, and down to the ground floor lift lobby, where I espied a new window cleaners list. I’m down on it, as the man promised, for an 09:00hrs cleaning on for the 3rd September. Then I spotted a hand-written note left. It appears that someone had earlier, torn up the lad’s latest at the time, list, into little pieces? A lady tenant gave whoever did the deed, some written verbals, and a good telling off. Good for her!

Outside the caretakers were sorting out some bins, and pleasantries were exchanged, and they took the bag off of me.

I began to make my way along Chestnut Drive to the ILC’s interrogation room, to ask for aid with the dentist and opticians.

I saw a slice of lemon on the new bricked sidewalk. Now, where did that come from, I thought. I hope that not like the cigarette butts, from a flat window?

I hobbled along to Winwood Court and spoke with the girls. Then realised I had not taken the letters with me from the dentist and opticians. I said I would return with them in the morning. Tsk! What a Ferdrayt I am!

On the way back to Woodthorpe Court, I took first, this photo on the right. I tried to capture the wonderful old tree, Windwood Court on the right and ahead, Woodthorpe Court. The shadows gave it an eerie appearance, I thought.

A few yards further on, and took another picture, to the right of this one, of the same two courts, with the link passage, no longer used, of course, thanks to the Coronavirus cocking everything up.

Still, I caught the beautiful clouds to the East, and shadowy two ends of the courts, Winwood Extra Care Court to the right.

A bit of a faux-pas of sorts at the lifts in Woodthorpe. I was the only person there (I thought!) and the contractor’s cage came down first, the resident’s lift was on the fifteenth floor. So when it came down, I leant in and sent it to some higher floor, then I pressed the call button again, and the tenant’s lift started to come down. I turned, and there were two contractors, giving me the puzzled eyes! I asked if they had been there all the time and they said yes, with a ‘Tut’. Apparently, they had spoken to me, but I’d not heard them. I did feel a fool!

I got back up to the flat, trolley in the corner, kettle on, and got some potatoes on the slow boil, and added the mushroom I didn’t eat last night.

I hope they will be alright? They should be, he says hopefully, Hehehe!

I did some updating on this post, and the tea had gone too cold. So, to get the kettle on to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana. Took the midday medications, and got the evening ones out, so I would see them later, and not forget to retake them! This reminds me, I have not been given the doses and readings for the Monday blood test yet? It’s not right, is it? Might I be taking too many or too few Warfarins and be at risk of bleeding to death or a blood clot? Still, I’m used to being ignored. Hahaha!

I took a photo down to the right from the balcony, of the end car park on Chestnut Walk.

I noticed that the kid’s playground was open again, so zoomed in and took my best effort at picturing the little blighters. It looked at first like there were a lot of the kiddywinks from a distance. But in fact, there weren’t many at all. Probably their day in court. Haha!

The clouds suddenly thickened as I took this shot to my left, showing a part-frontage of the beloved Woodthorpe Court building.

A mad hobble to the wet room, certain I was in need of a Porcelain Throne visitation. But, solid as a rock. Crossword book used, I whistled, sang to myself, and picked my nose. But nothing happened, not the vaguest sign on any movement. Bhlugh!

The rain cometh! Then, I got the evening’s nosh prepared, taking my time and concentrating, and made what I think was the tastiest meal I’ve managed in a long time. Sainsbury’s sweet small new potatoes, potato farls, tomatoes, mushrooms, Royale and plain surimi sticks, both of them were lip-smackingly flavoursome. (Gorgeous!), beetroot and carrot salad vinegarette salad. I sorted out the good from the mouldy seedless grapes, washed them and made a little pot of them, and a pot of lemon yoghourt. I started digested the nosh slowly, savouring each mouthful. A super-duper score of 8.8/10 for the Flavour-Rating!

Half-way through the dish of fodder, and the telephone rang and flashed. By the time I got to it, it had stopped!

Back to the meal, one more forkful and the intercom rang! A chap came up, I thought it was an Amazon delivery. The box looked like one, packed the same way, style. But I was not aware of any outstanding order from them? The bloke confirmed the address and dropped the box in through the door for me. I thanked him.

I got the box opened, and it was full of electrical fittings. I then spotted it was addressed to 72 Winchester Court, not Woodthorpe Court! Boulderclumps! I got the box closed and onto the three-wheeler-Guide, finding two letters on the floor as I went out with them. One from the Community Rehabilitation & falls & Service, about a Physiotherapy Therapy Assessment. (another mouthful, Hehe!) I’ve been referred again, and an appointment was made for me for Monday 7th September 2020, 09:00 > 16:00hrs. The other the long-awaited Warfarin Anticoagulation and Deep Vein Thrombosis Clinic, with the new Warfarin doses and INR test results. I’d been taking the wrong doses with no one contacting me.

The weather looked threatening again as I set out, leaving the meal, to take the box to Winchester Court.

As I got down and outside, the caretaker was packing some bins. He took the box from me, saying he would take the package to Winchester Court for me. That was nice of him.

I thanked him, and I went back up to the flat, got the trolley parked in the hallway, and had a go at eating the now cold meal again. I stripped off and started to tuck into the fodder. Then fell-asleep, it was much needed.

The door chimes rang out! I wrapped a quilt around my horrendously bulky and wobbly body, swore silently with frustration, and went to answer the door. I was Josie, who handed me a packet of two cakes, cherry-iced ones. Eurgh! She keeps forgetting what I can and can’t eat, and that I sleep early if I can. Bless her. I thanked her.

Back to the colder than ever food, and finished off the fodder. But still enjoyed it. Even the cold food, the potatoes, mushrooms and farls went down well.

After a tiring, messy day, and little sleep over the last few days, I fell asleep… The landline phone rang and flashed again! Once more, it stopped ringing before I could get to answer it. I was so annoyed, I only wanted to sleep. Please!

But it was not to be. Sadly the Thought-Storms started. I gave up, and got up and washed the olive green long-sleeved shirt. I got it done, wrung and hung on one of the new coathangers over the sink.

The eyes were drooping now, I got the pots washed, got a drink of orange juice and returned to the £30, second-hand, c1968, rickety recliner, in search of Sweet Morpheus. But I wasn’t successful. So, I put the TV on, and for once there was a programme on a murder documentary, that I thought would be worth watching on channel 66.

Zzzz!

Inchcock Today – Saturday 8th August 2020: Hectic enigmatic day. With late Memory Blanks!

TFZer Pattie, at the Cool-It-Cabin retreat. ♥

Saturday 8th August 2020

Croatian: Subota, 8 Kolovoza 2020. Godine

02:15hrs: Woke up, wrestled my Bunyanesque-bellied body from the wrought iron c1968 recliner, and made use of the EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic Bucket). A UDYP (Urgent-Deep-Yellow-and-Painful), colourful wee-wee indeed, was taken. Uncustomarily, no Pre or Post Micturition-Dribbling this morning! Which was most welcome! I took the grey bucket to be emptied, cleaned and sanitised, then I lollygagged my way the kitchenette, to get the kettle on, for a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea.

Then the realisation that I had just hobbled from recliner to wet room, then to the kitchen, dawned – without walking into or banging against anything! A reserved, not expecting too-much, a temporary, provisionary, Smug-Mode was engaged!

Took the medications but struggled to separate the Furesomide from the Codeine 60g and the Bisoprolol (In my case used: To counter blood pressure, help prevent further heart attacks, strokes and ease pains from Anne Gyna). So you can see why I asked the chemist to leave out the Furesomide, (taken on an as-and-when-needed basis) from the other two look alike pills, from the pop-pots?

But, thanks to Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, just up from the Lidl store, have again let me down, and I couldn’t identify which was which tablet! So, ended up taking an unneeded water-tablet so as not to miss taking the beta-blocker.

Is anyone at all bothered at the Pharmacy? Do they care? Does the Doctor do anything when you tell her of this problem? No, is the answer to each question. The chemist did change the first month; after I had to get the INR blood nurse to ring them and explain the situation for me. Now they have gone back into their old, usual ‘Sod Inchcock, let’s kill him’ Mode again!

(Dracula Depression) I got carried away a smidge there, sorry! (I blame my ailments, Covid-19, and Tony Blair) Hehe!

Where was I? Ah, yes! I got the kettle on and took a couple of photographs of the early morning view from the hated, letting rain in, thick-framed, light & view-blocking, life-risking to clean, new kitchen windows.

I photographed these two in the Aperture-Priority setting. Not bad at all, I thought. Considering that I had just started a Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley session as I was about to take the shots. Talk about bad timing! But she failed to destroy my efforts! Hehehe!

Did the Health Checks. BP not too bad at all, I reckon. The temperature showed up as 84° Fahrenheit, I hope, Haha!

Brewed the mug of Thompsons Punjana, and off to get the computer going. I did a graphic or two, then made up the template. And then got on with updating the Friday blog. Finished it and emailed the link, then went on the WordPress reader.

The above was in-between five wee-wees, each needed cleaning and medicating after each one – the flaming PMD (Post Micturition-Dribbling) again. A big thank-you to Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, just up the road from the Lidl store, for their care and consideration in failing to split the pills, thus forcing me to take all three, which included the unneeded water tablet! Just thought I’d mention it, like!

Off to make another brew, an Extra Strong Assam this time. The clouds looked worthy of a little nephelognosy time—the first one I took in Aperture priority, the second in Landscape mode.

I went on the Facebooking catch-up. Then Pinterested some snaps. Then went of CorelDraw to make up some graphics… passed wind, and decided it would be best if I made my way to the Porcelain Throne instead. Hehehe Hastily

Expuslivications! Trouble in the innards again! Rock-solid, no movement whatsoever, yet a sort of gurgling, bubbling noise emitted from within! Oh, ‘ecky thump! I got back to CorelDrawing, with a sense of doom.

Long Memory Blanks:

I found this photo on the SD card, but could I remember making the meal or eating it? No! I was sprawled uncomfortably, with the aching body-mass mostly on the recliner, the pots washed, the kitchen tired a bit, and a mug of tea made and gone cold, but no memories of doing or any of these things? It was beginning to get dark.

The brain just didn’t seem to bother or worry about these events? I think I got down and fell asleep for a while.

I must have got up at some time, cause in the morning, I found the photo’s on the right. It bothered me a bit, I think, not the foggiest memory of taking them, or at what time.

I know I had to keep getting up for a wee-wee and got little actual sleep in total. Thanks again, the Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, just up from the Lidl store, have again let me down, and I couldn’t identify which was which tablet! So, ended up taking an unneeded water-tablet, so as not to miss taking the beta-blocker.

These odd-moments of haziness and loss of memory, often happen when I am forced to take an unwanted Furesomide.

Not that it matters to them, of course! With the Corona Virus problems, giving them hassle and problems, perhaps they should close down before they kill too many customers off, and start a Halal abattoir? Much better suited to their uncaring nature.

I also found this photo of a rather bloodless looking right leg. But the answer to why or when I took this, remains in the ether. The limbs looked okay to me? (Got a film-noir effect there?)

I do remember a realisation that it was gone midnight, and I was still awake. Mostly, having to get up for more wee-wee’s than ever before, and getting annoyed with the chemist who was to blame, and frustrated with each release. I also had to empty and sanitise the EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic Bucket), twice, I reckon.

Yours:  Confused, indecisive, iffy, inept, insecure, irritable, inadequate, insufficiently capable, Inchie!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 6th August 2020: This diary contains an Ablutionalisationing Injury Communiqué, Not for those of a nervous disposition!

TFZer Cool-It-Cabin get-together!

Thursday 6th August 2020

Welsh: Dydd Iau 6ed Awst 2020

02:45hrs: I woke up with an astronomical vagueness all around me. It took me a long time to gather my distant, reluctant thoughts into some form of semi-logicality. Suffice to start arranging and forging some kind of recognisable sense out of them!

The distractedness of last night had not fully cleared away yet. The fuzziness began to clear, and be replaced with the worries, needs, and plan-making for today.

I realised that the new window cleaner was coming today, also that I had planned yesterday to get the kitchen cleared to give him access to the windows, and I had not done so! Fertummelt! This task became my priority.

I struggled out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety recliner, grabbed the stick, caught my balance, and limped to the kitchenette. The most urgent thing was to get the window ledge cleared. Not an easy task, Dizzy Dennis was on the attack! For much of the time, I needed to use the four-pronged metal walking stick, which made progress slow down to a pathetic level. Then, thankfully Dennis calmed down.

I was annoyed with myself when I saw the recycling bottles that I’d forgotten to take down with me yesterday! Clunk-head!

I took a snap of the window afterwards and tried to catch my reflection in the picture. Hehe! The bald head and the bulging flabby stomach tend to stick out a bit. I’ve just noticed when putting the photo in, how much the man breasts tend to protrude, too! Hahaha!

The summoning from the innards for my attentions being suddenly needed at the Porcelain Throne arrived. I wasted no time and beat a path (although a slightly wobbly one) to the wet room. Oh, what an improved, less painful session it was! It still hurt, of course, but compared to the last couple, it was heavenly! Also much quicker and not messy at all! Mind you, it left a pong that was not very pleasant. Ah-well!

Back to the kitchen, and got the Health Checks sorted.

Oh, ‘eck! The SYS had shot up again? The body temperature showed as just, ‘Low’. I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana.

Got the computer on, and had to make a head-top graphic, due to failure to make one yesterday! Humph!

I updated the Wednesday post and sent off the email link. Then made another brew, of Glengettie tea. (a thirst on me this morning!)

I took two shots of the morning view, the first in Aperture Priority, the second in Auto mode. I think the Auto one wins for more accurate colour?

Got caught up with WP comments, and then Facebooking.

I had a look on Amazon to see if they still had the cheaper offer on the Dettol lavender disinfectant. They had, but it said, ‘Only one left in stock, and unsure if any more will be available’. So muggins here, the favourite retailers type of shopper, ordered it. Then had a desperate last search for brown trousers available in my size. And bought some. I noticed an offer on Domestos. And bought some! Is there such a disease or illness called AGI, Amazon-Gullible-Idiot, I wonder?

Had a go at the WordPress Reader, then off to get the ablutions done.

– : What a palava! After the two reasonable, indeed, good, last two sessions. It was back to the regular ablutioning experiences, with the Whoopsiedangleplops and Accifauxparing this morning.

Ablutionalisationing Injury Communique

  • The teeth cleaning set Toothache Thomas on the rampage! Then I stabbed myself in the gum with the toothpick!
  • I broke a razor! (Gawd knows how, but there you are!)
  • Dropped the foam spray, razors (4), and cut me near my earhole shaving. (See below, it was a most artistic of bleeds. Beautiful original job!)
  • Trying to make sure I didn’t stub the toe when moving the shower chair, I banged my poor old, already multiple-bruised right arm again! Gramshackles!
  • I tooketh the shower, and clouted my right arm on the shower box, when I had mini-dizzy, seconds later, I hit my left arm on the grab bar! (Now I was getting so annoyed with myself, and using naughty language!)
  • It had to happen I suppose, with me being so wound-up, I stubbed the toe against the shower seat legs as I moved it back after taking the shower! The language was getting a tad bluer, now!
  • I dried off without any problems. (There, I got something right. Hehehe!)
  • I dropped the Cortisone tube, and during the medicating, Little Inchies fungal lesion began bleeding! Humph! It took a bit of stopping!
  • The rear end furuncle became inflamed at I applied the Germoloid cream to Harold’s Haemorrhoids! I had quite a few tender areas stinging at the same time now! It wasn’t pleasant. Hahaha!
  • Leaving the room, I had a ‘drift-to-the-right’ episode, and clouted my right arm on the doorframe, yet Again!

No doubt about it, I was pleased to get out of there, and for the incidents to be over! Most annoying, especially as the previous couple of ablution efforts, had gone so well!

The right arm has taken a bashing lately. I just don’t seem able to judge distances accurately anymore. Peripheral Neuropathy?

But, I was pleased I’d got a photograph of the artistic bleeding during the shaving nick bother. Do you think I might stand a chance of getting an offer from the Tate Gallery? Hehe! How the blood ran the route it did, I found surprising. Hey-ho!

A mug of tea, and back on the computing. 09:10hrs and no show from the window cleaner yet. Of course, this started me of twittering, fretting and almost convinced I must have got the day or timing wrong. (I’ve no confidence lately either) The chap arrived ten minutes later.

Did a quick,  efficient job, and charged me £15 quid for the windows and sliding balcony. Did a fair good job. Booked me in again for a month’s, September the third at the same time, I think he said.

Herbert above was doing some tap-tapping and knocking again. I wonder if he is making a wardrobe from scratch? As long as he’s happy. Which is saying something for a laconic taciturnist like John (Herbert) is, compared to an argle-bargle, deipnosophist type bloke, like wot I am! Hehehe!

I made up an order for Iceland and then did a search for a word that I cannot remember. It means someone who is not talkative or revealing. I wanted it to put in the paragraph above, but can’t find it. Gribbledukes! I might not, well, I do not know what the word, but feel confident I’ll know it when I see it. Tsk!

I pressed on with this blog, and the door chimes rang out. It was the postman, delivering my last pack of 6 long, lambswool socks (for winter, if I make it) I stupidly ordered from Amazon. They have soft diabetic top grippers. Now I will be alright for socks, anyway. I’ve probably got more than enough pairs to see myself out. So in the event of my croaking out, I’ve put them in the airing cupboard, for anyone who fancies them.

Got the oven on and put the smoked haddock flavoured fishcakes, in. I must remember to add the fries in ten-minutes. Then hopefully, they will both be ready at the same time, but, ‘best laid-plans’ and all that!

I got the latest figures for Covid-19.

Then I tended to the nosh making duties. The sky was looking good, well, I mean the clods. Even if they were a tad on the dark side.

The fatigue arrived, a little late than usual, and I gave up on computerisationing and got the meal prepared.

And what the festival of a feast it was, too! The smoked haddock filled fish cakes were so moreish! The last of the truffle fries were used (Iceland no longer stock them, Boo!). The surimi stick enjoyed, The Piccolo tomatoes excellent, as was the egg mayonnaise! A well-worthy 8.5/10 for flavour-rating!

I got te pots washed, and settled down in the £300, c1968, unkempt, rusty, rickety, not operational, sickenly beige-coloured, uncomfortable, harmful to haemorrhoids, grotty recliner. Turned of the TV, and chose something to watch, and drifted off into the land of bliss within minutes!

– I woke in a bit of the panic, the need for the EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Bucket) was indeed urgent! The diabetes PMD (Pre-Micturition-Dribble) tinkled away well before I got the bucket! The SSPO (Short-Sharp-Painful-Orange) variety release was soon over, and off I went to the wet room to clean up, disinfect the bucket, and change the PPs. Walking into the doorframe as I went in. This right arm is going to have more bruises than ever! It’s already tender, just putting a coat or jacket on hurts. Hey-ho!

As I got back to the recliner to sit down, the right leg burst forth with an involuntary right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance, ending up on my bum on the floor, banging the right arm on the way down, and in agony from Harold’s Haemorrhoids, and the leg just kept on kicking out for a minute or so. I stubbed a toe against the metal leg of the swivel chair!

Not one of my easier Accifauxpas. Claggknackles!

Miraculously, no severe damage, just pain and frustration, oh, and the long-winded challenge of getting my humungously-large flabby-bellied body, up and into the seat!

I was sure the grey-cells would start chewing things over, and Thought Storms would arrive. I was so wrong! No joking… I nodded off, as Sweet Morpheus came, and slept for… wait for it… Seven-hours! Unbroken at that!

Inchcocksi – Tuesday 28th July 2020:

TFZer Keeping at a Social Distance

Yee-ha!

Tuesday 28th July 2020

Maori: Rātū 28 Hōngongoi 2020

03:00hrs: Within minutes of waking up, I’d ignored the nagging worry of something, whatever it was, I knew I had to remember this morning (Tsk!), had clambered out of £300, second-hand, c1968, none-operational, rusty, rickety, uncomfortable recliner, caught my balance, and with the aid of the four-pronged walking stick, I found myself in the kitchen. with the window open, with camera in hand, taking photographs out of the window of the morning views!

Nowt outstanding in this, I know. But I had to guess the getting up procedure I’d just done, due to a memory-blank. I really could not recall doing anything up to this point. The ailments are starting early this morning?

I went to get the kettle on, but it already was on. (Oh dearie me! – Hey-ho!) Then I got the sphygmomanometer and took the blood pressure and pulse. All the figures looked good enough for me. I used the stick thermometer, and it showed a figure today, of 84.4°, which I also think is good. The inner body seems to be doing okay, now if I can control the mind as well, there still may be hope for me. Hehehe!

As I began to download the photos from the SDCH card, the belated demand for the Porcelain Throne arrived from the innards. No messing about, I hobbled-hastily to the wet-room. But the solidity of evacuation prevented any movement, despite my having a go at the crossword while waiting and hoping for some activity.

So, off I limped to the kitchenette and partook in a mug of Macrogol in warm water. Then back to the computer, and started to download the pictures of my trip-around-Nottingham, to the computer. There were a few of them to sort out and remember about.

And, guess what? Yes! Down went the Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet site! I did a Google search for any current problems and found this. Not the sarky first graphic, I made that up myself, Humph!

If Virgin, along with British Gas, would allow me to leave them, I would! But they get away with lying and giving wrong or dead links to use for this! The Swine!

A beautiful morning, though!

I left the computer alone, as I got another call to the throne, so I went off to the wet-room zone, alone! (The poetry comes free, folks, Hehehe!)

By Jiminy, that Macrogol works quickly!

The legs looked fine this morning!

A bigger than a normal dollop of an evacuation started, along with the agony, bleeding and a little cursing on my behalf! A few words invented as well, like… ‘Eeerogleardamn’ and ‘Ooo, oo, argh!’ An awful lot of cleaning up and medicationalisationing was needed. Glunglegnatsworth!

I got back to updating again when the internet returned. Then went on Facebooking.

Guess what? My viewing figures on WordPress, have dwindled suddenly? From 120, down to 58, and now 7? I’m worried if I’ve done summat wrong?

I finished and posted off the Monday blog (7 views only? I’m losing heart here!) Then went on the WP Reader section.

Humph! Then. the net disappeared again!

This time for only a few minutes, though. Thank you, Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet!

Disheartened, I went to check on the mushrooms in the crock-pot. As you can see in the blurred photograph, I had to jump back as the steam came flying out!

That’ll teach me to be more careful! Haha!

My Brother-inLaw, Pete, who had his first treatment for the Big-C, yesterday, sent me a photo of the gear he got sent home with! Cor, Blimus! I replied, making him a belated Honourary Member of the ‘Official Medicationalisticalised Pill-popping Person’s  Association’. Well, it made him larf he said! Hehe!

My beloved Nurse Hristina arrived as I was cleaning the electric fire-front. She was obviously in a bit of a rush, but found time to give me a few minutes nattering session, which I appreciated no-end! I told her of the Podiatrist farce, but not complainingly. She offered to move the crunched-up carpet for me when she noticed I got a bit entangled in it with the stick, but I thanked her and declined. And sadly had to let her go, cause I could that she needed to, a busy gal! ♥

When I got back on the computer, Tsk!

I decided to do a Google check on the other internet suppliers as well.

I was suspicious when I saw a similar pattern to each one? It seems to me, to be one of the biggest cons since decimalisation! I assume the red dotted line, indicates the average speed, or complaints, for the given time? Liberty-Global, being the lowest?

I took a shot of the end car park on Chestnut Walk, from the balcony. I wouldn’t risk injury by trying to open the lethal metal spring clip, that needs pressing and pulling at the same time to use. (A fitter actually trapped his finger on in last March! Honest!) So I hung out of one of the front windows as far as I dare. Mainly to get the photo of four read vehicles for my cyber-mate Billum Ziegler, in Ohio, I think. Hehe!

I made up some waste bags to go to the chute, and made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea… and had to shoot back off to the Porcelain Throne, in a panicky rush!

How embarrassing, I didn’t get there in time! I felt so ashamed, guilty, and angry with myself! I blamed myself as well, I shouldn’t have taken the Macrogol so hastily. Still, it proves that it works. After a lengthy cleaning up session and medicationalisationing, I was a different person when I got back to the computer. The enthusiasm had gone. Whatever I’d done wrong to get so few views, and now this Porcelain Throne stigma and disaster had got to me.

Then I heard what sounded like a car horn being pressed angrily, it sounds like it was right in the room, to my left? Was it the alert alarm box, the light on it had gone off? Someone outside on the road, I looked outside from the balcony, but could see nothing untoward? Checked that the landline was still working, that was fine? on it. The Virgin box still had lights lit on it?… Then I heard what sounded like someone breathing out and it was loud? It came from the area where the alarm, Virgin box and telephone were situated? Gawd, I’m all confused again!

I got back to the waste-bag sorting and loaded the three-wheeler up, it couldn’t take any more bags. Hehe!

The wind was getting up as I waited patiently for a lift to arrive. Then I realised I’d left the camera in the hallway. So I nipped back into the flat to collect it from the radiator where I’d left it.

When I got back out to the lift lobby, I’d missed the elevator. So waited patiently for the tenants lift to arrive. The constructor-only lift came three times, and I had to send it back up, to get the tenants one to come to me. Ah, well, at least I got down, eventually.

I hobbled out of the lobby, to the waste bin. And as the recycling bags were smaller than normal, I coped with getting them in the small opening. I went into Smug-Mode! But not for long, when I realised I had not dropped the two black down the waste chute, so I’ll take them back up with me, on the way back and deposit them down the chute.

I waddled along Chestnut Walk, taking some photos, and popped into the new Winwood Extra Care Court.

Where the Wardens Holding Cells, Interrogation room, and office are located. To see Laptop Model, Warden Deana. There was no one in the office.

Not that it mattered.  I’d forgotten why I was calling in the first place. Thundeclumphead, that’s me!

I also suffer, with Ethonomia you know! Hahaha!

Another picture was taken on the way back. I did notice that the string wind seemed to be only around my Woodthorpe Court area?

I went in through the Caretakers door, and unfortunately, bothered Caretaker Robert, who was having his nosh! But he was alright about it. He took the black bags from, bless him. We had a mini-natter, and I told him about the NHS only treating people, well the NHS Podiatrists, with bad circulation in their feet. I said my farewells and went out to the ground floor lift lobby.

Another long wait. Several folks were in front of me in the queue. The tenant’s lift was moving twixt the 9th and thirteenth floors for ages! Then I spotted a note on the board, about a window cleaner who was calling on at Woodthorpe Court, on Thursday 6th August. We had to put out names and flat numbers on the form if we wanted him to call on us.

I nipped back and pestered Robert again, to loan, or should or borrow a pen so I could sign up? Signed, and took the pen back to the caretaker.

By the time I made it back to the elevators, two new tenants were there. The tenant and a construction worker got in the same residents lift together. Then it was my turn for the next free lift.

You wouldn’t believe how long I had to wait. The tenants lift again started going twixt the 9th and 14th floor, repeatedly. While I waited, the Constructor only cage came down to the ground floor about three times. Very confusing? Still, it was interesting!

I got inside the flat, stored the three-wheeler in the hallway, and got the kettle on (first things first!), made a brew of Glengettie. While I was in the kitchen, I eventually heard the landline ringing, I got to it as fast as I could, but missed it. Back to making the brew, and it happened again, and I was too late getting to it again!

I rang to see if it was Jenny, but no. She remembered the 1471 number, I thanked her, and tried it. The number ringing was 07786……. I tried to find who it was on Google. All I got as ‘Do not ring back: this is possible a scam or con! So I didn’t!

I had a moment or two of ponderisationing. The Morrison order is coming late today, 17:00 > 18:00hrs. And as I unslept the computer, an email came in from Morrisons, they do not have any egg mayonnaise! I let Jenny know that the flour would be here and roughly when. She asked me to phone her when it arrives, and she will nip up to collect it.

Well, no egg mayonnaise! Tsk! I’ll do an Iceland order methinks, and get some, also add eggs so when Jenny explains to me how to, I can make my own.

Done it!

I noticed the sky was so beautiful, I risked life and limb by taking a shot of it from outside the balcony window. But realised when it came to putting it on here, it was not so good as I thought it would be. Red-eye and I caught the window edge on it! Oh, well!

The egg-Mayonnaiseless Morrison order could be arriving anytime now.

I’m getting tired and have a feeling, I’ve forgotten something? Mmm!

When the food order comes, I’ve got to call Jenny, hello, she’s just sent me an email! I’ll investigate it. Haha!

Must stay awake, not nod-off, but the eyelids are getting heavy.

To tired to concentrate now, I might turn off Computer Cameron for a bit, or longer.

Oh, I’ve got some diabetic socks coming tomorrow, the longer ones. Of course, it’s been that long since I’ve worn any, it might be amusing using and injuring myself with the sock-glide again. Oh, yes!

Aha, the latest Coronavirus updates just come through. A little concerning,

Today: Additional cases on Tuesday 28 July 2020: 581.
The total number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths 45,878.
Deaths of people who have had a positive test result: 119 Additional deaths on Tuesday 28 July 2020.
Fighting off the fatigue, and I’ve got the nosh to do yet. Poor old thing! Hahaha! Can’t be long now, it’s ten minutes to the end of the hour for the delivery?
Then it dawned on me, as the hour of the delivery passed with nothing arrived yet. The call might have been from the driver to say he’d be late for some reason? But the magic red-letter warning from the Google inquiry, prevented me being brave enough to try ringing it. Oh, dearie me!
Then I thought, oh, dearie me, (I do that a lot, you’ve noticed, I bet?) and wondered if he’s left the stuff outside the door? I went to check. Nope!
Gone 18:30hrs now! I phoned Jenny to let her know and explained the possible cock-up!
After I’d taken these shots across the sky, from left to right, from the kitchen window, and the glom got me down even more. I sat down to put then on here, and the late sun burst through?
I was battling against falling asleep still, and it was a right struggle-and-a-half, I feel the need to tell you!
The sun, shone through the balcony windows, and when I picked up the Nikon to put the SDH card back in it, it was so hot, I nearly dropped the camera! I had to close the blinds.
An hour and a half later, the Morrison delivery arrived. It was the driver who was ringing me earlier. Jenny and Frank, bless ”em came to help me sort the stuff out, I handed the flour over while they were up in the flat. ♥♥♥
I am now going to get meal cooked and will take the tale up again on the Wednesday post, cause I’m shattered
Food and sleep, seem my greatest needs, at the moment! Hehehe!.

Inchcockumski: Tuesday 21st July 2020 – An oddlymost day, but a slightly betterer one!

TFZer Model, Janet ♥

Tuesday 21st July 2020

Filipino: Martes Ika-21 ng Hulyo 2020

03:30hrs: I stirred from my preciously short slumber, and lay there, worrying, fearing, considering the events of yesterday – one of my worst 24-hours for months that was! Of course, the mind-meandering got nothing sorted, arranged or even understood. But there was a twinkling, albeit it only a shimmering, of newly arrived determination in my heart, almost like a degree of mock-willpower! But I knew it was there, dreamt of, self-created, by my disgust at how I handled yesterdays farcicalisations and disappointments. Or rather, didn’t handle them, not well, at all! I let everything that went wrong, (and there was plenty of failures, let-downs and disillusionments), all get to me. I’m not proud of that!

My very thoughts were even confusing me. Then luckily, the need for a wee-wee arrived, and this got me moving physically. I huffed and puffed and struggled to get my volumingargantuan wobbly-stomach with the skinny limbs attached, free of the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety recliner, and wearily got up onto my painfully long uncut toenailed feet! I’d missed the pain from them while I was sleeping. Hahaha!

I grabbed the four-pronged walking stick and hobbled precariously to the EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Bucket), and took a CLD (Cloudy-Long-Dribbling) wee-wee. It surprised me at how little after-dribble there was. (Something else for me to fret over? Humph!) I took the bucket with me and got it cleaned and sanitised. Then to the kitchenette.

As I was filling the kettle, the morning view from the light & view-blocking windows was spotted. And I had to try and get a decent shot of it for once. I’m not a good photographer, in fact, even worse since the stroke and all the agitational ailments have developed. It came out a smidge better. But not as good as I would have liked.

I put the kettle on, rubbed the Phorpain gel lotion into the bruised toenail. Then did the Health Checks. The SYS was still a bit high. The body temperature, according to the ear-hole thermometer, was 69° Fahrenheit I assume and hope! I took the medications, having a problem sorting out the three small tablets that had not been sent in the box, as they promised they would at Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, just up from the Lidl store, again! I’m still not sure if I took the Codeine 60g, and Beta-blocker as I should have, or a Furesomide in mistake for one of them? Which is which?

This chemist has also left me without medications with a late delivery, the longest being for six days! I can recommend them; if anyone else is on medications a lot in Nottingham, and just happen to want to commit suicide, but can’t make their minds up, just get them to do your prescriptions! They’ll do it for you, the suicide-assist I mean. As professionals, they can leave you without tablets, tell you they can’t deliver this month and you will have to come and fetch them (which is their cunning way of helping with your disabilities and giving you exercise on the one-mile walk to their shop, and the one-mile uphill walk back to the flats), And mix up the tablets so you don’t know which is which, thanks to the dedicated customer-hating, one or the other of these failings is bound to help you make up your mind… like it or not! They also have a superior snottiness if you complain, and turn things around to blame you! Just thought I’d mention it. I got carried away there, didn’t I? Sorry!

Made a brew of Extra Strong Assam tea, and went to the computer. I came across this photo, which according to the date on the camera, I took yesterday? But I can’t remember taking it, or why. You do things like this when on so many medications, getting old, and are fed-up! Still, on the bright side, I’ve got enough tea-bags to see me out in the cupboard. Hehehe!

I got on with, and concentrated on getting the updating dome, or even done! I have to say, Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley, and Anne Gyna were both being kind to me up to now! And Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters went down far less often than they usually do? I got the updating finished, sent the blog to WordPress, emailed the link and visited the WordPress Reader. Now it was time to get the ablutions done. No signs yet of the Porcelain Throne being needed. A bit worrying that, it’s a possible sign of rock-solid constipational activity building up!

I got in the wet room, and stripped off the PPs, revealing my ectomorphic, muscle-rippling, young, awe-inspiring body.

I nearly toppled forward when the stomach wobbled free as the gut-retaining pants were removed! Hehehe! Toothache Thomas was very-little bother when I cleaned the teggies. A total of one, just one nick shaving!

However, when I dropped the soap, I managed to crack my right shoulder on the edge of the sink. This set off Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley! Cringleblastitt!

Dizzy Dennis visited while I was showering. But no to badly. The drying off, and the medicating went almost perfectly! Them the getting dressed, always a hot spot for tumbles was also good and pain-free!

Mind you, the feet had gone all white on me, even after showering. The toes and nails were actually hurting when I was just stood there taking the photo?

I’m getting nervous now. It’s not natural for me to go so long without some form of failure, injury, falling over, or walking into something. But I did! Something is bound to the edge off my virtual contentment and pride. Oh, dearie me, yes!

As I came out of the wet room to put the towel on the dryer, I noticed all the boxes that had been waiting a long time, to get sorted, and guilt dawned. With all the recent Amazon deliveries, I had let the boxes build up in the spare room. So, with me currently feeling uncommonly fit (for me), I decided it was time for a bit of graft and a bit of clearing out. I know I can’t manage too much, but I seemed to have found a rare resolution from within… You see, no wonder I’m more confused than ever, this determination was real, and I acted upon it! I think I overdid it, and almost creased myself. Haha!

I made up two black bags of general rubbish to go in down the waste chute. Then assembled the cardboard boxes, and tore or cut them up, and got them into two of the bigger boxes. I had to make two trips with the three-wheeler walker-guide. The first one with the by now, four bags of rubbish. Which was easy enough, I wasn’t rushing, and got back to the flat with the trolly, without suffering any injuries or accifauxpas!

A definite, but a dangerous state of affairs… I began to go into Smug-Mode, and a foolish semi-confidence came out. And, I didn’t take a breather, and got on with stacking the boxes and hung the small and large white recycling bags on the handlebars of the guide.

This was all foreign to me. I felt quite perky now and set off to go down to the caretaker’s area. Balancing the boxes on top of the trolley, and watching that the bag handles didn’t slip off, took all my concentration.

With the one lift, it was ages before I got the residents elevator to go down. Again, the contractors one arrived several times before the resident one did. But I will not get in that one, as we have been instructed. It’s not fair on the workers, and surely risks their catching something, if not Coronavirus from us oldies?

I got the lift eventually and on the way down, the cage stopped, around the eighth floor, and a chap tried to get in. I calmly pointed out the sign that only one person at a time was allowed in the lift. The gentleman exited the cage, without moaning.

Down to the ground floor, no one was about, I didn’t see a soul on the ground floor. I got the trolley, with the bags and boxes out of the lobby, and to the bin’s area. I could not physically get the recycling into the bin, so left it all by the side. I came back inside and to the lift lobby, pressing the call button. The contractor’s cage kept coming down repeatedly. A bloke came in and just got in it without a care, and went up in it! Naughty boy! Haha!

I got in a lift eventually and returned to the apartment (That’s my three-roomed flat, by the way, Hahaha!) I got the trolley stored in the corner behind the door. And, without any toe stubbings or hitting into anything? How long can this last? There was stopping my inner-cockiness though, I’ve never gone so long without a tumble, Accifauxpa or injury! This actually worried me!

I noticed as I got into the front room, that the sun was trying to break through, so I took the Nikon camera into the pod (balcony) and took photographicalisations. Starting with the wonderful cloud formations, and did a bit of nephelococcygia, at the time I found what I thought was a face in this picture, But by the time I got to place the shot in, I’d lost it!

I tried a distance shot, zoomed in on the other end of the car park, but wasn’t too pleased with the resulting snap.

I spotted a man and women with clipboards wandering around Chestnut Walk.

I tried a few times to get a decent view of them. But ended up with this one being the bestest I could manage. Tsk!

I attempted another zoomed-in shot, of some houses up the hill to the South-east of the flats. Again not a brilliant outcome, but passable for me, I suppose. I took several shots of this house too, but Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were playing up a bit at the time.

So, I’m alright with this one.

I opened the North facing side window to take this of the dead-end car park. The sun had gone back in by now, but the clouds still looked amazing.

So I snapped the now duller Northern skies.

Ah, it had to happen! When I was trying to close this window, it has one of the perfect-for-old-people metal clips, that one has to either pull and push to open, or push and pull to close the window.  The finger end will heal in time.

I did some updating on this post, then remembered I’d got the Iceland order to do. So I did it. What substitutions and unavailable’s there will be, I’ll find out on Friday.

Back to the updating for a couple of hours or so. And then went to make a brew of Glegettie Gold tea. While in the kitchen, I pondered on what to have for my nosh. I opted for the last of the cooked beef end-bits, baked beans and bread to soak up the juices. Hahaha!

Then I made a Whoopsie! I went to add some Hickory in the beans. The bottle cap fell off and about half of the bottle contents went in before I stop it! I swore silently, then tried tasting some beans – uneatable, the liquid smoke flavour was just too much. I pondered, is there a way to salvage this? I added another tine of beans, thinking it might weaken the taste. It didn’t! Then, I thought if I drain the beans when I serve them, maybe… oh I don’t know! Crogglesodit!

I had a look to see if any Emails of interest had come in.  I went on the WordPress comments, then the reader section.

Then as I was doing this; Double-Tsk!

Aha! Things are getting back to normal now! Hello, it’s come back on! I got on with the comments quickly.

I tackled the job of saving what I could of the beans to eat the meal. Apart from the oh, so-strong flavoured beans, everything else was fine tasting. The red seedless grapes were from Spain, not perfect, a few had already begun to turn mouldy! I was careful in picking out only the good ones. Flavour rating, 7/10.

Washed the pots, and left a strainer full of the over-hickoried beans in a basin, to strain out the liquid, so I could throw them away without sending a wet bag down the chute.

The vagueness came as I settled to watch a football match on the box. Not very comfortable-making, but more agreeable than having the Memory Blanks, methinks?

Sleep was slow in coming again, and I couldn’t help, after three-nights of being woken up, waiting for the door chime or telephone to ring, but they didn’t. Yee-Ha!
