Inchcock Today 20/03/15: Gloomy painful start to the day…

Friday 20th March 2015

Woke up remembering bits of a dream and the urgency to post off me samples this morning.

WC – failed attempt – took me medications.

The urgency of sending off me samples soon made me forget everything about the dreams (Tut!) as I got myself up and ready to have a little walk to the post-box.

As I left the dump Fred came down for his breakfast of sunflower seeds and earthworms.

Within a few paces of setting off Anne Gyna made her presence known in no uncertain terms – worse than she’s been for months now, Tsk! If it ain’t one thing it’s another!

Not many folk about, but then again it is early yet – the gloomy in the sky fitted with my feeling of gloom with stab after stab from Anne Gyna accompanied me.

It actually got darker and gloomier as I poddled to the end of the road.

I could hear emergency services sirens close by but saw nothing – the sound continued with I think other vehicles joining them – I could not smell any burning?

Breathing a bit difficult by the time I’d got through the twitchel and on to Mansfield Road.

Some more pigeons came down for a nibble.

I took a photograph from opposite the end of the twitchel – in reality it was gloomy with a feint bit of sunshine coming through the clouds – but it did not come out like it was – shame.

The cheery bin-men were happily plying their trade in Carrington this morning.

I walked down the road and around the block to ensure I got some exercise in.

As I knew Anne Gyna would incapacitate me a bit today from past experiences of her attacks. Tut!

This photo on the right is a better representation of the cool misty morning in Carrington this morning.

Note the letter box next to the waste-bin on the kerbside?

That’s the one I walked passed contentedly forgetting that the reason I was out in the first place was to post me samples off that I’d forgotten about yesterday… and Wednesday too!

I was off down the road hobbling along into the distance in my own little meandering world around the block and realised I’d forgot again to posted them again, so I returned to do this post haste.

Now, the bin being next to the post-box might not cause problems for most people – but take the scenario of an elderly partly-senile Inchcock attempting to do a simple job of posting an envelope – he is bound to post his letter into the bin in error while his mind wanders ain’t he?

Well I didn’t actually drop the letter into the bin – but it was close – only just stopped missen. Tsk!

I returned to the bomb-site and took some extra pain-killers to try and quell the intentions of Anne Gyna.

WC’d – failed to pass owt again but blood from the haemorrhoids flowed. Tut!

At least Arthur Itis is not too bad today.

Laptop on and started this diary – Coreldraw9 not froze yet.

Sod it, it has now!

Did some graphics all the same, just took more hassle and bother.

These three are wot I dun of the TFZ lads.

Thomas (An actual Train engineer).

David, with his dog Spike.

Meritt and me on the stagecoach delivering citizens and Wells Fargo mail.

I nodded off for an hour or two and woke up with the torn muscle under me ribs very painful again – Gnash! Maybe I moved awkwardly in me slumber, or sneezed? Either way I’m in agony again.

Tsk!

Inchy Today Thu 9th Mar 15: Incorporating A Photographicalised tour of Nottingham Pay-day Loan Sharks!

Wednesday 18th March 2015

Mess of a night again sleep-wise, my current habit of nodding off any-time anywhere isn’t helping I suppose.

I eventually awoke around 0630 hrs and did my best to remember the dreams I’d had – but nothing at all of any detail came to me – although I remember telling myself more than once ‘I must remember and record this…’ but no notes found?

WC’d.

Not sure, but I have a feeling something needed doing today?

I stirred and went and made a cuppa and a pot of porridge and got the now working laptop on to start this diary. Bit of a cock-up on the porridge stakes though, I thought I’d got a pot of plain porridge and out some honey in it – it turned out it was a pot already flavoured with golden syrup – er-ugh… far too sweet to eat. Tut!

Tried to do the header in Coreldraw9 and it let me do so without freezing for once.

Eventually go missen scrubbed up and while doing me teggies I remembered the clinic visit!

So hobbled a bit faster so as to get missen ready and be there on time.

Walked to the clinic intending to catch the bus back to town to have me photographicalisical trip around the Cash-shops all within 5 minutes walk of each other on Upper Parliament Street in Nottingham.

After the clinic (All fine) I realised I had not got me bus-pass with me – Huh!

Set off on walk today

Walked back to the hovel and collected it – came out again and amazingly I felt good enough to walk into town then – worrying that!

As I approached the Hucknall Road lights I heard the sound of klaxons and got my camera out to await the arrival of the emergency vehicles, it turned out to be two ambulances, the traffic was light.

Some Nottingham pavement Art interested me near the college…

What it was confused me – it might have been food judging by the bits of something scattered around the main body of the artwork, I think I saw something moving from the bowels of the… whatever it was?

As I hobbled on, ever alert for any photographicalisational opportunity th might arise – I spotted sparks coming from the CCTC at the traffic lights on Mansfield Road as I came into the City proper.

I realised later that I’d taken a shot of the old school building clock in the background -it’s now a Community Centre for drop-outs etc.

House of Fraser had a display of some mannequin legs in jeans and shoes sat on a bench – they did not have any torso and I suppose were a way of saving costs?

Very odd looking to me – how many customers are they expecting who are headless and bodiless? Still, it shows they care about the minorities dunnit? Hehehe!

I wandered up and onto Parliament Street, down to Long Row to take a few photographs of the Spiv-Money shops and into the City Centre – where I found a Market with 20 or so stalls selling a variety of overpriced impractical rather upper class goods.

There was little interest being shown.

My first Nottingham pavement Cyclist of the day spotted.

I wandered back up to Upper Parliament Street and took photo’s of the selection of the immoral pay-day loan, pawnbroker, cash lenders, money-sharks whatever you wish to call them situated on that road.

The second Nottingham pavement Cyclist spotted, the git didn’t half the lady jump as the ignorant animal sped passed her.

I made me way down to the walk-over and took a snap – again showing the Nottingham pedestrian citizenry’s total and flagrant lack of interest in road safety.

I walked through the Victoria shopping centre mall again taking a photograph from above of the Boost juice bar – I have yet to catch anyone actually using it and buying anything from it?

Down to Tesco for me bread, ice-cream lollies and cheapo min-swiss rolls

By golly I live well!

Came out from Vic centre near where they were demolishing the old Radio Nottingham car park, much to the entertainment of the workers watching.

Hobbled over to Trinity Walk, with surprising ease today, despite my having walked for so long and far, Arthur Itis and Anne Gyna were both being kind to me.

I spotted some… er… ornaments in the jewellers shop window and took a snap of them

They were really expensive, I just wondered what they were?

I caught the bus back to the flea-pit, just starting to feel a bit weary now.

Got in and put me bits away – made a cuppa and had three microwave burgers in bread thins with a bit of BBQ sauce, two lollies and a banana – the Queen doesn’t eat better than wot I do yer know.

Had the nosh and fell asleep.

Woke a couple of hours later and got this done.

Phoned brother-in-law Pete to see how Sister Jane and he were doing. He’s got the flu now, but Jane is a tad better.

Took me medications, passed wind and WC’d.

Did some facebooking and posted this off to WordPress.

TTFN all.

Monday 16th March 2015 – Inchcock Today: Medicationalisationing tasks again, Tsk!

Monday 16th March 2015

Inchcock’s off to Hospital Again… It’s the nurses yer know, they get him all excited like…

Got up had a very rare situational situation for me this morning – I wanted to, but could not carry out my desires activities on the porcelain! The opposite of diarrhea this time, a definite circumscription in me movements – or lack of movements – oh dear… just when they’ve sent my self-test Cancer screening kit as well.

I feel so guilty for being so lucky yer know. (Hehehe)

Had a wash shave and scrub-up so I’m smell nice for me nurses at the Queens Medical Centre and gals at the clinic this morning.

Might not have time to do me contributions to the League of Mental Men today, I got up too late and I’ve got so much on to get done medicationalistically  speaking. I’ll do me best to get back in time and then stay awake.

Got the nibbles ready for the nurses and made sure I’d got me record card, bus-pass, camera, mobile etc in me jacket pocket. (I think)

Started the laptop and realised I’d not taken me medications – hang on I’ll take em now cause I’ve just made a cuppa…

That’s them taken, I’ll have a hobble into town now and catch a bus out to the QMC.

0835hrs: See you later… I hope!

Dreary sky as I set off on walk into town.

On Mansfield Road I noticed several buildings up for sale or rent that indicated things are not too good hereabouts – mind you child minder/nursery seems to be doing well enough – many of the Nottingham folk might be professionally out of work but they are still producing their apprentice yobbo teeny-bopper ankle-biters in great number to ensure their full benefits from the Government.

As I pressed on an uncaring Nottingham pavement cyclist came passed me at speed from me rear, then cycled across the pedestrian crossing and into the NCN college across the road – I imagine he must be a tutor or teacher there – he’s a Git who’s too scared to cycle on the road because of the dangerous traffic, but has no compunction about putting elderly folk at risk from his illegal cycling on the pavement anyway. Huh!

Up and over the hill down towards the City Centre I heard several sirens/klaxons and got me camera out, but the vehicles, three police cars and a paramedic had already passed going out of town by the time I did get it out, I did catch a forth police car though, shame cause it would have looked good and I could have used the photo later in a post if I had caught them all at the same time.

Onward down into town and caught a bus out to the Queens Medical Centre for me INR Warfarin level tests.

The weather was still murky but not cold with it.

The usual mayhem in the hospital car parks with heated exchanges with the security men and those desperate to find somewhere to park their vehicle.

Good job I took me new second hand book with me, because I found the waiting area – that on my last appointment Thursday was devoid of folk – was crammed to the rafters so to speak.

The longest wait I’ve ever had there.

By the time my number was close to being called, I realised I was not going to make it to the clinic appointment in time so as not to be late.

When I got into the blood room I explained this to the nurse and she rang someone with the details and they rang the clinic – then passed back another appointment date for me – now that was nice of them because they were so very busy.

Bit of job after taking the sample stopping the bleeding today. Handed them their nibbles and those for the clinic staff too that I would not need now today – tickled her pink that did.

I caught the  first bus into town and wandered up to Trinity Square where I fed the pigeons and spotted  new shop on the Walk – I must say I liked the dresses in the window – very nostalgic, reminded me of the girls from my youth. (Don’t laugh – oh go on then!) .

I’ve just noticed the reflections from the glass in the window – more signs for closed-down retail businesses to let. Sad.

As I moved to the bus-stop I fed the pigeons again.

As I descended down Trinity Walk towards Upper Parliament Street .I espied that one of the retail units that had been empty for months had opened as a sort of Art gallery.

In the window was some… er, Art dedicated to and of Marilyn Monroe.

 Very pricey though.

Of course nobody was in the shop/gallery apart from the two staff.

I don’t think Nottingham is a City of Culture really.

Mugging, shoplifters, antisocial scrotes, drunks, Big Issue sellers yes… .but not cultural types much.

Got the bus back to the hoppit.

A poor chap on the bus (passenger) kept swearing out very loud and this obviously upset some of the passengers. I imagine the bloke had tourette syndrome or schizophrenia. I sometimes see him in Sherwood walking along and booming out ‘F-off’ curse words with such venom and so loud, I felt sorry for the chap, but some passengers were getting angry with him – not that he was aware of this.

Again tried to use the porcelain without any success.

Had a microwaveable steak in onion gravy with curried beans and some bread with a cuppa to take me medications with.

Did this diary – laptop battery dying fast. I must get to the computer shop tomorrow after the laundry and shopping at Asda to get it sorted out – else I’ll lose me internet and that will make me a sad laddy.

BJ (Big John) called, he is going to pick me up in the morning to carry me washing bags to the launderette for me bless his cotton socks, then going to take me shopping with him to carry the stuff home to help avoid irritating me pulled muscle. A gent that BJ!

Did some Face-booking and faded fast into nodding off mode… still no movements… oh dear!

Inchcock Today: Friday 13th March 2015

Friday 13th March 2015

Woke with a jump thought about the dreams I’d had a while then remembered I’d not taken in the bins in from yesterday – so painfully got up (Ribs and angina) and poddled down to correct this oversight – noticing on the way that the sky had an atmospheric pink tinge to it, so I took me camera with me.

When I went out I realised the bins were still full and that it was bin-day today not yesterday. Tsk!

Then I took a picture of the sky – realising when I got back in to add it to this diary, I’d left the card in the laptop. Sad really.

Made a cuppa and took me medications.

Usual messages about incorrect power supply box etc when opening the laptop.

I tried Coreldraw to see if it would work today. Touch wood, it seems okay, but then I’ve not tried any high memory stuff yet, just the header for this post.

I’m sure I can still taste the herbs from the meal I had yesterday – it tasted grand.

Shame about me making a faux pas of the sky photo.

Ah, Friday the 13th for anyone believing in such stuff – a risky day.

I must say, today has been a day of tiredness, weariness and doing very little.

I fell asleep after I had an early nosh (Cornish pasty [Tesco own label not good])

Must have gotten three unanticipated hours in when I was awoken by the mobile phone ringing. It was BJ asking how I was going and did I need owt bringing in fodder-wise.

Nice that, no one else had called to see how I was going.

I thanked him, he apologised for not calling yesterday and told him not to worry mate.

His calling was fortuitous as if he hadn’t I would have missed me evening medications – we had a natter and then I took the doses – damned good job I hadn’t missed me Warfarin what with the INR level being so low.

WC’d and then went down to make a cuppa.

Found the INR report and dosage notification from the hospital had been delivered and put it in the drawer so I’d know where it was for next week.

Gawd I still feel weary and tired though.

Did some graphicaliationing until Coreldraw9 froze and I did not have the energy to go through resetting again.

Unbelievably tired now, no concentration.

Poor old mule.

Sorry no new photographs or anything worth reporting really, but thanks for checking.

Take care all.

Inchcock Today: 11/03/15 – Incorporating the graphicalised marathon walk to the QMC

Wednesday 11th March 2015

Not a good night again, dream, wake, dream, wake, WC, dream, wake, etc.

I did manage some kip around 0400hrs to 0520hrs, when I sprang awake – I could not remember any of the dreams again. Tut!

Went down and made a flask of tea, during which sadly I had a couple of dizzy spells – (just when I thought it was safe to boil the water – hehe!). I ran the scolded fingers under the tap for a minute or so and applied some cream.

The interscostal muscle was I think a little less painful though, and Arthur Itis was good – Anne Gyna was a bit persistent again, the ulcer no bother though – damned dizzies might be set it for a while – just a feeling – I hope not, I hate having them. That feeling of impotency and inability to do anything to stop them is frustrating.

Got to go to the QMC today for me INR Warfarin level tests – it’s raining outside at the moment, so I’ll do an anti-rain dance in a bit (Only joking!).

WC’d – during which I got a sense of what one of the dreams last night was about, but by the time I’d discovered the bleeding piles and tended to them I’d forgotten again. It’s odd that to me – I can remember remembering but could not remember what I’d remembered? Does this happen to others?

I potted about and got the nurses nibbles in the bag ready for later – made sure me INR record card was in me pocket with the bus-pass and me Emergency Card was in me jacket. Put me camera in the bag too.

Laptop on to start this diary.

I must try to get back from the hospital and try to get some graphics done for the TFZers, hopefully the fatigue that overcame me yesterday will not prevent me and Coreldraw9 will not crash – I’ve given up on Serif Draw x6, that seems to crash too regularly.

I decided that as I was feeling a bit better today – I’d walk it all the way to the QMC for me INR Warfarin level tests so as to catch up on me walks I’ve missed while feeling poorly. (I get these impulses every now and then – I think it’s something to do with being thrown in the canal when I five years old?).

I had a good scrub-up and got the things ready for the outing.

Determinedly, and foolishly full of confidence I set off nice and early.

The graphicalised tale of the journey to the hospital is in the graphics on the right hand side of the post.

I thought you might like to scroll down and read me comments wot I printed on the photographs to get the best out of them like? Please let me know if this idea was not a good one – I’m used to failure and promise not to sulk if it didn’t work.

The entire journey took me 1 hour & 57 minutes.

Well above me record time, even me average time for this journey.

But then again I was not racing or rushing missen, and I did stop many times to take the photographs like.

The weather was kind throughout.

Worth repeating was that at every traffic lights there was somebody wearing a plastic or cardboard billboard advertising Pizza Hut collect only: Any size Pizza at £6.99.

Every one of the poor lost soles walking around looked absolutely pee’d off and depressed.

I wonder how much they get paid for standing around on street corners looking twits?

Poor devils…

On Triumph Road – now taking over by college students establishments – long gone are all the business that used to dominate this road – no Player’s factories now, Transport depots, Coopers etc. the new college buildings especially the multi-coloured big one shaped like a wedge or something out of Thunderbirds and some of the students looked a bit like puppet character ‘Virgil’ from the programme as they passed me by.

Heheh!

The ‘wedge’ building on the University of Nottingham Jubille campus there seems to be having work of some sort done on the exterior ever since it’s been built in June 2009 I think – surely the architects must be a little embarrassed by their claim that: ‘The three new landmark buildings and a striking new piece of public art create a gateway and a strong new identity for the campus, emphasising the university’s modernity and sustainability’.

Pogglewash!

I see the first part of Triumph Road is now being got ready for being built on by the University.

This area was occupied the old Gasometers from the gas works – they closed I think about 1980? I’m not sure and cannot find an actual date on the web either.

The land is still not considered safe enough to build on top of apparently.

I had a burk-on-a-bike come flashing passed me from behind as I went underneath the walk-over in one of the new buildings.

I hate it when some unthinking pratt of a pavement cyclist does that to me – in fact these dung inhabitants are possibly my most hated species of turd after politicians and paedophiles.

Yes, they are my most hated species of turd after politicians and paedophiles!

As I walked along Derby road on me journey into the unknown and stopped to cross the pelican lights – another rat-bag on a bike came from behind between the pedestrian and crossed part way making us (the poor pedestrians) move out of his way.

I didn’t know I could hate this much.

I completed the journey and arrived in the bright sunshine at the entrance to the QMC.

I made my way to the haematology dep’t and much to my surprise found only a handful of people waiting to go in – then I realised that I’d set out really early and so found it a delight to have my number called out within minutes.

There was a new nurse who took me samples and we had a nice chin-wag.

After she professionally dealt with me, I left them their nibbles and cheerily left walking out into the sunshine again and over the road to catch a bus into town.

When one came, I was told by the driver I was too early to use me free pensioners bus pass.

I did feel a fool – did it again!

I got off and had a look at me mobile to get the time and it was 0925hrs – so only five minutes before I could use it.

So I had a walk for a few bus stops.

I caught a bus at the Olde Lenton Lodge bus stop into the City. (The Lenton Lodge is now a storeplace for Mercedes – so sad!)

The bus was nearly full (I imagine with the gaggle of us old folk using our bus-passes, Hehe)

I got off the bus off early anf walked down to the library, where I another dizzy. Sat down and read a bit of a book by Harry Secombe’s brother Fred Secombe (Anglican Priest in the Church of Wales) entitled ‘ How Green was my Curate’.

It was so humorous I got carried away with it, two and a half hours later I left the library.

I poddled to Tesco in the Victoria centre and got some bits.

Bread Tins, Fresh Cream Apple turnovers, Cornish Pastiesm Bacon/Cheese Burgers and some fine Frank’s.

Oh and a nasal spray to help clear me clogged nose.

Walked towards the bus stop, dropping some seeds and meal-worms for the pigeons en-route to Trinity Square.

Took some ‘Bling’ photographs for the TFZ gals.

Caught the bus okay and dropped off at the co-op and walked back to the dump – feeding Fatima and Fred on the way.

WC’d. No blood.

Made a cuppa and had it with one of the apple turnovers but was not impressed with it, all sugar and hard bits of apple – I may write to David Cameron about this…

Started (usual message about incorrect power pack) laptop and did a graphic for the header – halfway through Coreldraw9 froze – Huh!

Tried again and it let me – slowly!

I later looked for me INR record sheet but could not find it. I sat puzzling what I could have done with it – aha thunk I – bet I used it as a book mark at the library when I had to call at their porcelain…? I’ll call in tomorrow and ask them – although if it is there, the address is on it an they might send it on to me – I’ll call in tomorrow.

Tonight perhaps Cornish pasty and potatoes? Franks and beans?… er… Burger and beans? Spoilt fer choice ain’t I?

Inchcock Today: Encarcerated in the bathroom! – Sun 8 Mar 15

Sunday 8th March 2015

I lay there trying to recall the dreams I’d had during the night, and I moved – just a tad – and the agony form the torn muscle was excruciating to say the least!

I know I should have expected it after yesterdays Whoopsiedangleplop in Derby – but degree of pain still shook me to the core.

I managed to get down and make a cuppa and somehow climb the stairs back up to the bathroom and laptop.

I took me medications with a cuppa. One good thing about this torn muscle torture is the bleeding haemorrhoids, Anne Gyna, Arthur Itis, duodenal ulcer etc are not such a worry as usual. It replaced them. Hehe!

Took an extra pain-killer again, tended to me rear end cleaned and medicated the area, pain-gelled me knees hands and feet putting some on me ribs.

Well, I thought, today movement is definitely out of the question for me.

So took the opportunity to get to work on creating some Facebook and blog graphicalisationing.

Spent hours on it – and although Serif Draw x6 crashed, Coreldraw9 as yet has not played up – I may regret saying that later!

Well it happened an hour later, Coreldraw9 crashed – it would not let me close it althought it offered an option box and I selected ‘Close Coreldraw’.

Had to force close the laptop and then more problems when I tried to restart.

The usual incorrect power source message, pressed to bypass it using F1- when after a long time in loaded, messgaes telling me to click box to solve Windows computer problems.

A list came up and I sent the message – one of the problems sent was 94 Coreldraw stopped working ones – no solutions try again later came back.

Oh dear…

Tried Coreldraw again. I’d lost a lot of work I’d done – clabberknockshunts!

Restarted and it did it again – tried Serif and the same thing.

Really pee’d off now – pain and failure – huh gobblewockers and shangiblubber!.

Reet fed-up I got summat to eat.

Suddenly overcome with tiredness despite the niggling sharp pains every-time I cough sneeze breath in sharply pass wind/sneeze or move I’m going to take me medications and try to get me head down early.

Nighty night folks.

Inchcock Today: Odd night last night – Friday 6/3/2015

Friday 6th March 2015

A lousy night last night – didn’t nod of until around 0400hrs then kept waking up every few minutes. Remember looking at time at 0630hrs then drifted off – the mobile rang it was Sister Jane – apparently I’d called her a few minutes before?

We had a natter, she’s feeling better so that’s good.

Drifted off again and didn’t wake up until about 1130hrs.

Got myself beautified took me midday medications (Far too late for me morning ones).

Seems me innards are on the turn again, this time into not wanting to evacuate – spent yonks on the porcelain to no avail – the message from me innards told me I needed to go, but nothing happened.

The pulled muscle seems no worse today so things improving there, Anne Gyna not bad at all, ulcer perfick, Arthur Itis okayish, haemorrhoids no bleeding but stinging a tad and reflux valve sticking a bit again.

Received INR results and dosages, 2.6 so going in the right direction now.

Fred and Fatima this morning

Got the stuff sorted and nibbles into a carrier bag for the Nottingham Hospice charity shop.

Set off, feeding Fred and Fatima on the way out of the house.

Very windy again, but not cold with it at all.

Noticed hoodies lurking in ST Johns churchyard up to no good I’ll be bound.

Nottingham Street Art – one

Bit of Nottingham Street Art on the corner of Church Drive.

No many folk around for a Friday.

Up the hill passing the cordoned off by police St Johns church community centre that was burgled last night – I considered taking a photo of it, but the comminatory look the police officer gave me ensured that I forgot the idea in  a flash.

To Sherwood along Mansfield Road

Up onto Mansfield road and down the hill into Sherwood.

The sky was bright, the people few, and down to use the local library loo!

Facing back towards Carrington from outside the Nottingham Hospice Charity shop

Unfortunately it was closed due to vandalism and I had to suffer. Then up to the Nottingham Hospice Charity shop where I gave them me bits and their nibbles.

I called at the Continental food shop and got a loaf of bread and two slices of their mixed seasoned belly pork.

Arthur Itis started to play up a bit and as I left the shop I was concerned about finding a loo rather urgently.

I noticed that there were three disability scooters were outside the pub today.

Notice I was keeping on the other side of the road to avoid the possibility of the drunken scooter drivers running into me in the event of their staggering out well sloshed like.

Onwards up the hill and on the corner of Mapperley Street more new Nottingham street Art in the form of a rather pathetically unskilled bit of graffiti spray painted on the wall that the Restaurant owner had re-plastered and painted a month or so ago.

I do dislike this so called Street Art and the antisocial apprentice yobs and nerks that do it.

Up the hill and a walk through the side streets coming across this sign that had been torn down a lamp post and had a bracket broken off it – and some writing (Presumably thought witty back the perpetrator/author) had been added in marker pen at the bottom of the sign.

But I could not make out what it was supposed to say.

More Nottingham Street Art?

Hastened me pace and got back to the dump in time to get to the porcelain – success this time.

Made a cuppa, made some sandwiches of the belly pork and got a mini pork pie with pickle out of the fridge.

Started the laptop and watched a DVD while eating me nosh.

Life of Riley or what eh?

Doing me header for this Diary Coreldraw didn’t play-up freeze or give me any bother at all?

Then when I restarted it to do some stuff for the TFZ page it froze repeatedly?

Int life confusing?

Actually slept for hours too – at last!

Inchcock Today: Housebound Again! – Wed 25 Feb 15

Wednesday 25th February 2015

Sheer fatigue helped me get some sleep last night.

The dreams were constant or at least it seemed so. All I can recall is a bit about being in a rowing boat with someone and trying to push someone along in the water with a giant candy-floss?

Not a good start this morning: Within an hour of rising the porcelain has been used three times… oh dear.

Bit worried about getting out for me INR Warfarin level tests tomorrow now. I just hope the ‘runs’ do no prevent me from going because it is important to get the level right. Maybe things will calm down again today?

Took me medications. Then made a cuppa and started the laptop.

WC’d (4).

Might risk popping out to book appointment with the GP later to see her about the rumbling runs, because they seem to be persisting somewhat.

Assessed the ailments: Anne Gyna not too good – Arthur Itis no worse – Ulcer twinging slightly – Haemorrhoids easier at the moment and front teeth okayish. But the ‘runs’ are getting most of my attention at the moment.

Came across this graphic I’d done for the TFZ site, thought I’d post it to show off and because I can’t get out today to take any photographs.

Did some reading on WordPress.

Found some excellent humorous and satirical stuff on WordPress.

Had a look on Facebook, and made some graphics and posted them.

Janet Arron and Richard Johnson, TFZ members might like this one for a bit of fun, that’s what wer’e all about really on hte troll Free Zone – having a laugh and chinwag in print like if yer see worra mean?

Sandra Lentz and Meritt Hutton on the second one here.

Hope they like them, took me a while to create them in between several visits to the porcelain.

Put the kettle on then WC’d (7), but I think it might be settling down now.

Mind you, they said that about Hitler in 1937 didn’t they?

I was wondering if I might manage a little walk around the block… I see how it goes later.

Better not… things a biter… loose yet.

Now Serif X6 is crashing! Grrr!

Went down to make a cup of tea.

I found on the floor,

Near the door,

And I felt more,

Very much more poor!

Hehehe!

TTFN all.

Inchcock Today: Sprurghling along… Sat 21st Feb 15

Saturday 21st February 2015

After a night interposed with many uncomfortable rumbling-innards prompted visits to the porcelain.

I forced myself up into physical activity – much against the wishes of Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis.

Pain below me right elbow still with me – no bother from the ulcer, and no dizzies up to now.

WC’d.

Made a cuppa and a pot of porridge with honey and did some Facebooking.

WC’d.

Watched some old stuff TV on YouTube (Heartbeat).

Had a good scrub-up and abluted and noticed that the two front teeth that the dentist had filled had both gone black?

Urgh!

Pondered on if I should try having a walk today or not.

Decided to risk it ‘for a Swisskit’ (anyone remember that advert for the chocolate bar from… I don’t know when, ages ago?) and poddle to Sherwood to take me togs to the Nottingham Hospice charity shop, then call at the dentists and last to get a small cooked nosh from the hot food place.

As I arrived near Sherwood the sky looked amazing.

Though I’d check me Lotto numbers at the paper shop. After so many years of trying and only getting one win – £10 and that was shared – I can’t think of anything more futile… Huh, nor one number!

Mind you I’m not surprised.

Fortuitously the Library was open and I sated the demands of me rumbling innards in their WC. Phew!

Halfway up the second hill I spotted two mobility scooters outside a shop and none outside the pub which is normal.

I pressed on up and arrived at the Hospice shop and gave them me bits, then up to the dentist. Where I had a Senior Moment…

I pushed at the door and it was locked, so I read the opening hours on the door and thought well it says here that they are open 0840hrs t0 1700hrs on a Friday… why are they not open now at 1345hrs?

Quick as a flash I got it within minutes – today is a Saturday!

I called in the hot food shop and got a tray of roast potatoes and… er, some meat or other like mince but it wasn’t mince to take home and reheat later.

As I was limping back to the dump I thought I’d take a more scenic route, longer, more hilly but with more trees and that like.

So I did.

I turned right down Haydn Road. As I plodded down it the Second Hand Car Sales place that reminds me so much of George Coles Arthur Daley in Minders place from the 70’s TV show.

I don’t think I’d be confident enough to risk getting a car from there somehow.

I carried on down and as I approached the pelican lights a sign that I’ve seen endless times on the side of the road made me smile for once as I saw a funny connotation attached to it today. The sign, behind the red car read: Humped Zebra Crossing…

I bet that made him jump? Hehehe!

I got to the end of the road and turned left up the tree lines hill called Devonshire Drive.

I thought at the time, feeling so much better than yesterday like: “I can do this without any problem!”

And started to ascend the hill with grim determination and a commitment to get to the top in good spirits and maybe jump up then like wot Rocky did in Rocky 3 like…

Third of the way or so up and I stopped to get me breath – but soon started off again showing great spirit bravery and bravado!

So proud of missen I wor.

About halfway up I stopped once again momentarily, the angina starting now and me feet and knees joined in too.

I began to think I maybe made a bad decision in taking this route back to the flea-pit now…

me stick.

Nearly at the top now in this photos.

I realised as I struggled on that I may have seen my last marathon, game of squash, bungee jump or parachute jump as the pains emanating from various quarters of my decrepit ageing flobadob body were increasing in intensity and I needed to get to a WC quicker than I was doing.

Thank heaven the summit was only a few yards away and I turned right into Carrington and down the hill.

So glad to make it to the porcelain, but the bleeding was back.

I ate the reheated whatever it was meal and enjoyed it – then said a little prayer for it not to start off the rumbling and a-grumbling innards.

As I was washing the pots I managed quite skilfully and without any planning to drop the vinegar bottle right onto me corn on me right foot and said ‘Flipping heck’.

Made a cuppa and limped a little more acutely than normal, up and laptop on, took medications.

I’m so glad I didn’t go on a long walk.

Aye-up… I can feel movements from within…?

Sprurgh!

Nothing more eaten tonight, lost me appetite.

TTFN all.

Inchcock Today: Thru 5th Feb 15

Thursday 5th February 2015

What an ‘orrible night of dreams and waking up every few minutes.

0400hrs: Again I sprang wide awake. WC’d – made a cuppa and took me medications.

Got downstairs with relative ease and Arthur Itis was not too bad at all. Anne Gyna bothersome though.

Started laptop and this Diary.

Within seconds the innards rumbled grumbled and caused me to urgently attend the porcelain… Okay now.

Coreldraw9 crashed and I cannot do any graphicalisationing! Boo!

I tried the SerifDraw package, but it’s so convoluted I couldn’t get into it at all. Tsk!

I’ll take off and reinstall Coreldraw9 and see what happens… oh dear!

Went through uninstalling process via control panel – restarted and installed coreldraw9 – restarted and opened Coreldraw9 but it was the same as before no change and didn’t work when tried – Grrr…

Again I went through uninstalling process via control panel – restarted and installed coreldraw9 – restarted and opened Coreldraw9…

Same again ‘Coreldraw9 not responding. Shit!

Lost hours of the day in-vain there!

So glad I managed to do some graphics for me Radio Interview post before Coreldraw collapsed. Still feeling bitter and sorry for missen mind… Huh!

Now the bloomin’ angina’s starting again – oh… Nicklebothersome!

Expecting sister Jane and Brother-in-law to call later – so must gerrup and ready for them soon…

They were a little late and Pete opened the front door as I was going out with a bag of rubbish for the bin… the bruise on me head will soon heal I’m sure.

Luckily their being late meant Jane stayed in the car and did not come in to the flea-pit. (Phew!)

I gave them the pressies and Pete gave me one, a throwaway type basic camera that wasn’t a throwaway one.

They were off in a few minutes and I got me togs on for a walk to the clinic – I suppose you thought I’d forgotten about the appointment and only remembered when I got an email telling me to take the used swabs in with me at today’s visit? (Ahem!)

Had a slow walk to the clinic and took me sample-swabs with me as requested. I got seen to straight away by this young lady doctor who seemed to take great pleasure in going further into me cavern than any other doctor has.

If no improvement they will get me in for a camera viewing.

Nice.

I caught the bus back to the hoppit, changed me togs and set out for a walk into town.

The sky from the same position as I took a photo yesterday looked calmer somehow – the rain continued to trickle down.

I walked through the alleyway slipping the birds some seeds as I went through onto Mansfield Road.

Very little traffic about, as I waiting for the little green man to cross the road at the pelican lights an ambulance came flashing along with its blues and twos on… Not having me this time like yesterday I thought.

Started my slog into the City, the angina not as bad, but Arthur Itis making going difficult.

When I got to the traffic islands just walking passed the bus-stop I noticed some more Nottingham Street Art!

Some kind Nottingham apprentice-yob or alcoholic thought the bushes would look better with lager cans and rubbish spread about in them?

Tsk!

I took a slightly different route on me hobble today and walked down Huntingdon Street on me way to the Aldi shop for some cheapo beef pasties.

As I approached the traffic lights yet another ambulance sped by with its blues and twos on.

I took a photo of the Victoria Centre flats – they looked awfully  fragile against the backdrop of the expanse of the gloomy sky. Twinges from Anne Gyna started again and stayed wth me for the rest of the day.

I got in to Aldi and had a potter about, bought a pot of porridge, some beef pasties and two pots of luxury… I say Luxury lemon curd yoghurt! Why they were called Luxury I don’t know, but they were very nice.

As the chap served me I noticed through the window two ambulances and a fire-engine go past towards the City Centre. When I left the store I heard another fire engine coming and got me camera out to snap it as it made its way down Huntingdon Street toward town as well.

Annoying not knowing why innit?

Now taking this photo might not have been such a good idea I thought – as I put the camera back in me bag it punctured the foil lid of one of me pots of yoghurt… I mean Luxury yoghurt.

Luckily I had plenty of kitchen towels with me (Bleeding piles for the use of cleaning up in the event of emergency you’ll understand), so I was able to clean up the bag and its contents a bit.

I walked down to Maplins and asked the chappy there if they had any covert cameras on sale – they hadn’t, only had filming covert cameras.

As I walked towards the City centre I managed to catch two policemen in their car who had obviously passed through the lights before their way was clear.

The black car had to veer around them because his lights were on green.

Naughty boys!

As I got into town proper I then espied Nottingham pedestrians crossing at the same junction as yesterday against the lights again.

I of course waited for the little man to turn green before moving, cause I’m a good boy.

The rain and Angina persisted and I wandered up and took some ‘bling’ photographs for the TFZ gals.

Then caught a bus back to Carrington and fed the pigeons craftily on me walk to the flea-pit.

WC’s, put me nosh away, kettle on, passed the tiniest little plop of wind from the rear and nearly gassed missen!

No Inchcocks were harmed in the production of this Diary… today anyway up to now. Hehehe!

Took an angina pill, rubbed some extra Phorpain gel into me knees and hands and passed wind again. Worrying this is… but it stopped later – not the passing of wind, that seems endless, but the aroma was not so pungent thankfully.

Turned the laptop on and got a message: Dell Inspiron – Battery supply cannot be determined and will not charge in DOS. Then took me to dreaded blue screen with tons of information I knew nothing and understood nothing of what was on the screen. I just clicked save and exit… Windows then opened as normal. Internet opened alright, Apache works, Coreldraw even working now?

Started doing this diary and guess what – Coreldraw let me import. Still jumpy screen and very slow but working.

Oh this flipping Anne Gyna… must get to make appointment to see GP see if I can go back on the under-tongue stuff.

Had a meal of frankfurters in bread thins with bbq sauce a yoghurt and a drink of Citrus flavoured spring water with me medications.

Watched some ‘Heartbeat’ episodes and enjoyed them.

Got me head down, took ages to nod off again… Tsk!
