Before getting the night pouch off the catheter, I’d taken two naughty, but effective strong Nurofen tablets. I keep some near the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966. moth-eaten, bedraggled, cringingly-beige-coloured, grotty, dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner, on the Ottoman, within reach. By the time I’d got the pouch off and made a brew, the pain had eased a lot from the right eye… not the left though. I didn’t take any more naughty painkillers, cause the Carer will be here to give me some Paracetamol & Codeine. Don’t want to overdo things. I’m not saying KI wasn’t tempted to, though.
A highlight of pleasantness arrived in the form of Nurse Hristina from the DVT Anticoagulation Clinic to take some blood for INR analysis. The poor thing sounded like she had a sore throat. Bless her cotton socks. Such a lovely kind lady.
Carer Chris arrived. Eyes and medications issued. Started the blogging update, and it happened yet again, even as early as this. Carer Victor did the midday and early evening calls. The weariness and tiredness dawned, and I went off on the Ode word-finding mission that took me hours and hours. KI just couldn’t stop; the brain seemed to be blinkered?
A bad start got worserer. And yet, when I semi-recovered my grasp on things, I was so cheerful about it.
No time or instinct for taking photos, although I did take a few. Carer Victor took some of the evening sky for me. But through the balcony windows
The night pouch is nice & fullish, a good colour.
Sorted the waste bags into one.
The scratches on the wall, came from when I fell over getting the bags in position and the walking stick hit the paintwork..
Sported out some bladder-filling bottles.
A mug of Glengettie went down well.
Evening Carer Victor arrived, and eye drops and medications were done. He took these snaps through the balcony glass.
I finished the blog and sent it off.
Made up several templates, which was time-consuming, but I was pleased I got them done. A long job and I made many mistakes in doing it. No doubt I’ll find more when I use them.
Turning of now, so weary, and the flaming eye seems to get worse as the night approaches.
Back in the morning, all being well, like. Haha!
Roving ReporterInchy (well, moving occasionally around the flat anyway), is back with this catch-up report.
Carer Victor arrived, waking me from a period of sleep, that was free of interference from . A precious rarity that, of course, they returned the instant I nodded off after getting down in the after Victor had departed.
Medications were issued, the night pouch readied, eye drops put in, and he helped me get the chips out of the oven and onto the plate for consumption. (Is that the right word?)
The chips were burnt to my favourite crispiness; well, with my shortage of teeth, they can be sucked at. Haha!Yellow tomatoes, and soy balls. Flavour-Rating: 8.2/10!
Down on the c1968, non-operational, tatty, scruffy, unkempt, uncomfortable, germ-breeding, Harold Haemorrhoid-Testing, sickenly beige-coloured, crumb covered recliner, in search of sleep. But, it was not to be! Made sure of that! I was getting s smidge wee’d off with this and got up to wash the food things.
Glad that I did now; the evening sky had a great hue to it. I fetched Kodak Keith and tried my best to get a decent shot of the view on offer. was bothersome. She had been all day really come to think of it, and when I was getting settled at the window, kicked off, too.
My first photographicalisationing shot came out wobbly-shaky, to say the least. But it was different if nowt else… A never-been-known for months, determination rose from within my demented afflicted brain. I was not going to give up this time! My resolve cost me a lot of time. Getting gently wedged on the window locking block, I tried again to take a better picture… but no, it came out terrible again. So, putting some paper towels behind the block, to help keep the botherations from and to a minimum, I tried again… Aha, that one came out betterer. For me, anyway.
Back in the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold-Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner. To my utter pleasure and delight, there was no interference from . I had a few mini-dreams; they were each doom-ladened, depressing, confusing themes.

Mind you, looking again, so does the right one? But only the left one is painful. Although the left one was expected to be like this, I learnt of the right one only having one cataract that needed doing, and the left one had a cortical, and two nuclear cataracts done. Marching on… left, left, left, right left… Hehehe!I’m still getting confused with so many eye medications to be done. How the Carer’s keep up with it I don’t know. I’ve written down the roster needed: AM on waking up: Blepharitis Gel, left eye only. Five minutes later, the 4-Times a day. First Carer call: drops, for times a day, to be inserted by the Carers. The gel is AM & PM only. Then , this is to be applied by me, four times a day. The Dry Eye pads are to be used three times a day, applied by me. Instruction was supplied on how to do this properly. The Blepharitis liquid is applied on a pad and can be used morning and evening ‘If required’ in case of any pains, signs of bruising or red-eye appear. Well, they have all appeared! Basically, I haven’t much idea what I’m doing!. No doubt about it, when I caught the eye early in the morning, it hurt, and the redness started to appear! Left eye only then. However in the afternoon, as I was doing the pad cleansing job, had a go at me, and I caught the eye again! Then it got such a nuisance, that I had to abandon the blogging for a long time until things eased off and more vision was available. Humph! Then, muggings here got into word-finding files. So, cannot see, cannot hear, cannot get any sleep, and am generally desperate to make time… Not much time for blog-creating again. Onward… Not much today, Sorry.

No progress on the house being done up?

. Evening… well, early morning nosh. Tons of No-Butter Butter on milk roll slices. Imitation franks. Red & yellow tomatoes, Oven chips overcooked, as I like them! Sea salt & distilled vinegar. A Jacobs orange biscuit and pot of raspberry jelly! Flavour Rating: 9.3/10!

No bother, of course, not for the hero of my sturdy, manly-pain-bearing capabilities. No arghs, cursing or swearing, spitting, growling or self-pity. Well, just maybe the odd cringe and wince. Hehe! Carer Jo-Anne called the opticians for me to clarify what they rang me about last weekend. It seems my spectacles are ready to collect, and I have to fetch them to see how I go with them, and then they can do a reading pair. From what I recall, the left lens will be apparent, ready to be swapped when, or if, the left Cataract ever gets done. I’ve no idea if this first pair will be distance or a reading lens fitted. If the Blepharitis is not cleared when I get to the hospital for the left eye cataracts to be done, I’ll be refused and go back to the start of the waiting list again. As it took me over two years to get the right eye done, you can understand how apprehensive I am. Then surprise, surprise, and a Great one too! Night Pouch removed
The legs and ankles were much better this morning!
Trotsky was in charge again!
Taken through the balcony doors and window. Drizzling.
Washed the plates, great!
GOT CARRIED AWAYDoing the day’s blog, I came across a notepad page that was only partly completed; let me spend, wait for it… over 6 hours doing the ode page words! And it’s not finished yet! I simply plodded on uncaringly until the Carer arrived… Tsk!
Got on to CorelDraw. The flipping day’s nearly done. Still, I did stop to take some sky photos occasionally.
Photos were taken while Carer Benjamin was here. Caught Benjamin taking a selfie on the balcony. Hehe!
As of 15@45hrs…
Here are the sky photos in the order they were taken. The first one. Above and below from the balcony. Getting darker earlier now. Looking almost scary now… Still Bootiful, though!
Time to get the nosh sorted out… well, it’s well gone the usual time. If I get a crack one, just knuckle and potatoes, methinks, saving some time. That’s a rarity. No, a sudden change of mind hit me.I had battered balls, bread and peas; that’ll do me. Wonder if I’ve got any crispy onions left in the cupboard? I’ll Soon find out! Nope! So I added some to my Asda order for the morning. The nosh was cooked and served. Nothing special, but So-Tasty! Flavour Rating: 8.8/10.
Washed the pots; I took care cause carrying the night pouch and can be a bit hazardous. In fact, using Metal-Mickey, helped me avoid a when I against the radiator as I went to take these two early morning photographs of the view from the kitchenette window. High in the sky… and down to the houses.
Settled into the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966. But he was in a stubborn mood, and it took me a couple of hours to nod off. I noted the time, 03:00hrs, when I knocked a bottle of soda water off the ottoman tray. Used the torch to check it had not burst open and saw the big battery clock. It seemed that seconds later, I was in the land of bliss. Ahh!

3 visits to the Porcelain Throne, they were whiffy!
Iceland delivered food, that costs pounds, over fifty!
Wen t to get things done ablutionary,
No hot water; the tap was dripping away!
The whole day was wrong, contrary…
Things seemed unreal, delusionary,
Still, no time to start the blog diary,
22:00hrs I started on the one for Wednesday,
There were always things diversionary…
I soon got feeling weary & wary…
My mind got into a bigger disarray,
Thoughts were going all over, thataway, thereaway,
I never want to suffer such an abominably, bad day…
Like I suffered this bloody Thursday!
Nearly midnight now, still need a shower someway,
Do the teggies, shave, change the catheter...
Eye drops, Germoloid the piles and basically…
Get some sleep; hoping Friday will go less diabolically!
And my body will act less dysfunctionally…
The brain too, the day goes less eventfully
And, Cognitive Impairment Iris, plays favourably, All day I’ve not eaten anything gastronomically, I’ve just been so damned up-to-the-neck busy. I’ll put some potatoes in the oven, quickly… Do the needed tasks ablutionary, I’m feeling better already… I’m doing this ode, quite lyrically?
And face my problems bravely, Not moaning, groaning or snivelly!
The upcoming appointments, medically,
Only the one that’s neurophysiologically,
I’ll approach a little nervously,
Funny how I’ve cheered up suddenly…
Not bad, cause I’ll be showering nocturnally,
I’ll cope with things philosophically…
I’ll check what that means in my dictionary! – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Worra Blooming Day!
Up at 05:10hrs.
The night Bag was removed. Not a lot of it, and dark coloured too! Am I surprised? Then yes, not after the nightmare day, though!.
Waste bags sorted.
The was better!
First mug of Glengettie!
Computer on. But not for long.
The intercom flashed as I got the spuds out of the drawer. Aha, the Iceland food arrived to restock the freezer from my in leaving the door open for nine hours! Three bags of food were destroyed. Tsk! The driver kindly carried the bags into the kitchen for me. As I was getting the frozen things in the freezer first… The watch strap broke. So I put it down on the counter, and continued to get the food in the freezer sharpishly! Biscuits Galore. Not for me of course; they are for the Carers and nurses due Friday and next week.
Coffees (For the carers of course), Rustlers for Carer Richard. Potatoes and bread for me
The freezer filled once again!
Naughties? Savoury nibbles in the plastic ottoman.
The phone started ringing almost nonstop for hours. Nurses, Carers, Social Services, Fall Team, Optician, Sister Jane, and others. The computer was not touched again until late evening… but by 21:00hrs, Had amassed no less than…
The second and last mug of tea, Thompsons Punjana this time, was being gulped down with three shortcake biscuit sticks. No, I’m not kidding, just three!
I got a new strap on the wristwatch.
The Days Sky Photos. All from roughly the same spot at the kitchen window. Good Morning Good later Morning Good Afternoon Late Afternoon. Sunset One Late Sunset Two… Bootiful! Early Morning
Now I’ll try to get a meal made. Potatoes in the oven, and thought I’d change the night bag and get the ablutions done. But I . So, got the burnt potatoes out of the oven… buttered the potatoes unsparingly, and added some yellow tomatoes, with a lemon dessert for afters. Scoffed it all up. Flavour-Rating 7.5/10 And fell asleep again…
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – A testing morning. I stirred around 06:30hrs, and for some reason, I was in an immediate grumpy-with-myself mode. The legs had gone down, but the thinner right leg was even skinnier. The ulcer on the right leg was leaking fluid and occasionally a little drop of blood. I got the night pouch freed from the day bag.
Grabbed my and proceeded to hobble in the direction of the kitchen, to empty, clean and pack the pouch away – a temporary diversion; I gave myself a good on the Ottoman en route. I laughed it off heartily, of course. Got the pouch sorted, and made up a waste bag. Apparently, accidentally taking this photo? from the door. It was the Asda delivery arriving. Who took the food through to the kitchen for me; I thanked him profusely. Got the crackers and sour cream delivered, to have a try at the ‘Caviar’ later. Well, imitation caviar!) Plenty of soda water to satisfy the needs of and the irritating . Anti-Diarrhoea tablets, etc., but the swine of a company had not got any pod peas. Grrr! The new tear & share bread sticks were found to be in need of cooking in the oven. Huh!
Cara Kara called. Got eye drops in/, issued the medications, and five minutes later, the drops. The Gaviscon, which replaced the Peptac, has the worse of flavourings that I grossly dislike. Aniseed! Bad as my taste buds are at the moment, it still tasted horrible. Hehe!
I pressed on with updating the Sunday blog; not a lot to add, so I got it done quickly. And sent it off to WordPress. I knew something was wrong: Liberty-Global Virgin Media has not gone down yet? Give it time, though!
I limped to the kitchenette, almost bouncingly as my feet were filling up and swelling again. The Zoflora left the surfaces smelling sweet.
Took this grim-looking picture.
Carer Sam called. I told her about my problems and struggles with getting dressed, socks, shoes, pants, and trousers. Ablutionalisationings too. I am feeling a bit sorry for myself again – must shake it off!
Hours later, a mug of tea. Even that had a distorted taste. Then I went to wash the mug and heard a sort of howling noise. It seemed to be coming from outside.
I went onto the balcony for a nosey round, and I adopted my Sherlock Holmes Mode! to no avail, though. Nothing looked or appeared to be out of order down there. A closer look…
The rain had stopped, but signs that it must have been heavy while it lasted were obvious.
The mudslide from Woodthorpe Grange Park seemed bigger than yesterday’s was. I wondered if someone got out of their vehicle and into the mud puddle, and that made them howl with frustration? Hehehe! Ah, well, time to try and eat something now. TTFN
I was no sooner down in the £300, second-hand, most uncomfortable, decrepit, Haemorrhoid Harold-testing, creaking, sleep-deterring, nauseatingly beige-coloured, not-working, recliner, and I was off in a deep cataphora! But, it only lasted a couple of hours. I was more like a catnap! Thanks to…For the first time ever, Colin was affecting both hands and fingers! Naturally, I coped in my usual pain-bearing way. Being the calibre of man that I am. (Cough, cough!) Any wailing noises heard by my neighbours would likely have been in my sleep while having a nightmare.
Here is the drip tray with the night bag in it, catching the state of my water-leaking, one swollen, one not, legs. With Lymphorrhoea Leslie, Odious Odema Diana, and the ankle ulcer; leaking fluid and the odd tiny globules of blood. I could feel and see some more storage space they had made for themselves just under the ankles. It’s a game, innit? A slightly better measure in the bag, especially for five hours.
No immediate call for the yet, so I had a rare mug of tea and just three dunked bikkies for breakfast. Naturally, the tea was decaffeinated. Again, .
Well, I knew today may well break the time taken record again. I was right! You see, I’d been walking about the flat for ages without any socks or slippers on. That is because it’s such a hell of a painful arduous task getting them on. (Pity-Search-here?) I can’t see very well since starting the Opatha and Maxitrol eye drops. The soles looked almost black to me, so today, I’ll stand in a bowl of soapy water when I take the shower; I might put a tiny drop of bleach in it. The morning exercise time… yes, the – well, not exactly, the action bit is in agonisingly carrying buckets of water to refill the unmended W.C. water tank and not working cold tap. Still, it’s only been about three months since the problem was reported to Nottingham City Homes maintenance, and I’m in pain hauling the water every time I use the . But I don’t want to rush them… Let’s face it, what’s a little agonising, painkiller-needing bother from once or twice a day… Surely whoever reported it for me, must have told them about this problem? Int life good? Anyroad, today I wore the reading glasses just in case the torpedoes need a lot of prompting to escape my innards. Now I could at least have a go at the crossword puzzle while waiting. (More Pity-Searching Here?) But it caught me out today, and came out quickly; it was a deep orange colour and stunk to high heavens? And I only ate a pot noodle yesterday, and three bikkies this morning? Messy too, which cost me even more time to get cleaned up. What’s going on here? Tsk! The shaving went well, just two tiny cuts. The teeth cleaning was put on the back burner; until I find where I left the toothbrush? Got the bowl filled with water from the shower, added Dettol and washing-up liquid, and stood in the bowl, ready for a good scrub-up… As I reach up to get the shower thingamabob, my feet slipped on the bottom of the bowl… I knocked the bowl over as I lunch at the grab bar, holding onto it for dear life as I spun round and hit my bum on the tiles, but prevented a proper tumble. Apart from agony from the bum, , pouring blood, a bruised knee, giving me some, and the valve getting opened in the shuffle and merrily releasing pee all over, it wasn’t too bad. It took me ages to get the place, and me sorted out. I was a smidgeon shaken up but persevered with the showing, but at a reduced rate and with extra care. I dare not use the bowl again. So I thought, “Ah, I’ll use the loofah to reach the feet’s soles…” but that seems to have joined in the toothbrush in the AWOL list? Some days are not good… well. all of them for me! However, things may have been a lot worse if I’d missed or failed to hold on to the grab rail. I’m sure the soles of the feet were not cleaned properly. But did I care by then? No, not a lot! Finished the shower, got the reading glasses back on, and towelled off, then started the medicationings. I actually counted them today, but I forgot how many. More than on here me, methinks; ❶ Olive oiled the ear holes. ❷ Little Inchies Fungal Lesion creamed. ❸ Ointmentated the Catheter straps, and dried the pouch. ❹ Dried the , both and . ❺ Germolened . ❻ Phorpained as far as I could reach. ❼ TCP’d the Mystery chest-tummy, whatever they are. ❽ Then, the painful and impossible one! Daktacorting Little Inchies Fungal Lesion. Which is usually the trickiest of them all, pain-wise and tactically. Having the Catheter tube inserted, and refitted so often over the last… how long has it been? It must be three or four months by now; it has and is nigh-on impossible to get the cream where it is needed to stop the bleeding. Unfortunately, it is easy to get the medication onto one’s testicles. Arrgh!
ANOTHER CHALLENGE – GETTING DRESSED! The Second-Worst Dressing Job First Getting into the protection pants! The knees and water-filled legs do not want to raise enough for me to get the second leg in! I can’t use the picker-upperer, because it tears the fabric it pulled at. So I’ve worked out a sometimes successful trick. I get myself either back to the sink, or in the corner of the room, for best. But the legs do not want to bend enough, so I lean to the left and often get the foot in the lefthand side after getting the right one in. Then getting the pants up to the intended area is obstructed by . Many tears happen when I do this, and I have to start again, win, or lose at this stage, I can assure you starts kicking off! Thank heavens I only wear trousers when I have to go to the hospital, Dentist, EENT or any other medical calling. Cause they are so painful to wear. As for wearing socks, without help from a carer, it’s virtually out of the question. Not long ago, I had to use the dreaded Now as my faculties and body deteriorate, I can’t even manage to use her. , the Papules, , even can stop any chance of using the blood-causing Glenda anymore.
and pool together, to somehow make me forget to ask the Carer to help me get socks, shoes, or trousers on, on the day needed.
I got carried away there. Better put summat else other than tales my sufferings and woes, Hahaha!
Where was I? Who am I? Why am I? Oh, yes…
The feet and legs were always changing, leaking, then drying, growing,or shrinking… Hey-ho!
Well, what a record… 2hrs-25minutes to get the Throne & ablutions done!
Little Inchie off again, poor little mite!
. Nice morning
. Pondered over what to have to eat later… The result was nothing. I’m just not hungry. Meals over the last few days have been tasteless anyway. I did have some biscuits, though with my two cups of tea. . Nice!
Hristina, the wonderful haematology DVT Warfarin nurse, arrived to take some more blood. ♥
. A little uncertain as to why I took this one?
. Confusion today over the eye drops, but I had them all.
. The end car park now the short rain had stopped. You can see the mudslide from the cut-through on the right into the Woodthorpe Park area. And my neighbour’s balconies!
. I took another shot to the left of the balcony.
Then around 17:00hrs and over the next few minutes, I took several shots of the oh, so wonderful puffer clouds. . Pareidolian’s Delight! . Pareidolian’s Delight! . Pareidolian’s Delight! . Wow, Gorgeous! Took this again to get the sun
TOTAL MEMORY BLANK! Gawd knows what happened here. I seem to know that Carer Chris came twice more. Vaguely recall taking a tumble, well more a stumble. Then nothing for three hours or so. (I think)
Got on with this blog, until the fatigue came over me. This is unbelievable, cause apart from the wet room battle, I’ve had the easiest day for ages?
But I still fade as the day progresses.
Not hungry yet. The . I’ll finish this in the morning… All being well!
I had a tasteless Pot Noodle, I thought I’d better eat something, even if I can’t taste anything nowadays.
Carer Chris made the last call. Medications were given to me, and Maxitrol and Optha eye drops were inserted. Night Catheter-Pouch added to .

05:40hrs: I stirred back into my usual moroseness. Spent a minute of two identifying what day it was. Not that it mattered much, anyway. Then I took off the night pouch. Not much in it?.. But the colour was a fairish 4 on the NHS colour chart. Emptied it, put it in the appropriate bag, then into the waste bag after sealing it. As I got the kettle on, the need for the arose. The sight and star of my delicate area, Little Inchie, of course, made me jump a little bit when I first saw the blood. Or rather, the location that had altered to what would be considered… ‘Normal’. Even for me! A was nearly issued. Haha! Confused, I certainly was. The multi-aged, dried blood at the bottom of this taken-off pair of Ten pants was far less bloody than usual. But the fresh blood is not there as a norm? Top left, these are the concern. These came out of the bum area, I’m sure. I had a grope and feel around using paper towels but found no lesions. Then very gently prodded the site to see if I could find papules, boil or whatever that may have leaked. But, no!
This session was like passing heavy, chocolate-covered ball bearings… eventually!
was in another foul mood about carrying the buckets of water from the kitchen to the wet room… yet once again! I dressed… well, I put a dressing gown on. Sorted the waste bags out and placed them near the front door. Haha! I thought that was the best idea because I don’t have a back door in the flat. If you see what I mean.
Made a brew, & took a photograph of the rising sun from behind the flats… the sun was rising, not the apartments. I think…
Then off to the computer, determined to do a better, quicker job today, and crossed my fingers that Liberty-Globals oligarch, the £26m salaried with guaranteed bonuses boss, who bought out and ruined Virgin Media, would see if he can go a day without losing the signal. (Fat chance of that, but still!). Love his latest load-of-crap advertisement, above. You’ve got to praise Mr Fries; he’s consistent in his failings and still getting paid a fortune for his inabilities. Pure jealousy on my behalf, of course. I’d barely started when the inevitable happened.
Carer Samantha arrived. Got me sorted and had a mini-natter. Tried the internet, but it is still not back on yet.
I strongly suspect I may have . Cause I woke up as the door chime rang four hours later. Oblivious to what time it was, where I was, or even if I was… Hahaha!
Aha, Liberty-Global Virgin Media working again. I got the BP graphic done and made one for the ode. Then made the ode… Then realised I had not yet finished off yesterday’s Inchie Today. Oh, dearie me! Done it again, gone and lost the signal for the self-praising, oligarchal, figure-manipulating Liberty-Global, owners of Virgin Media, specifically the good looking over-paid boss, Fries, had struck again. So, I toyed with it for a while to make it more comfortable. A mistake that was!
There was still no service from Liberty-Global-owned Virgin Media Internet services. So, I decided that an early meal was a good idea!
Aha, a change in the weather. This photographicalisation came out rather well, I thought. . Got the potatoes in the oven on a high setting. And cut up the imitation pressed bacon and garden peas in the saucepan. Got the electric drill and cut up some of the beetroots. Hehehe! The vegan bacon was brilliant! The potatoes were excellent! The garden peas tasted grand! It might have a 10/10 rating but for the rock-solid, teeth-breaking, tasteless, horrible beetroot! But, still a 9/10 Flavour-Rating!
I came out of it, and I was sat in the c1966 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner. Unsure of anything, my mind was filled with fear that I may have left the stove heat to tap running. I hastened to the kitchenette… The hot water tap had run cold, but there was no plug in the sink. Phew! Butt here was the oven tray soaking in there. I got them and the pots washed. I sat briefly, feeling somewhat confused and indifferent to everything. Hard to find the words… Most likely something inspired by Doreen’s Dementia.
Chimed out. It was the sweet Angel of Mercy, Nurse Hristina from the Deep Vein Thrombosis and Anticoagulation INR, Clinic; she’d come to take my blood. ♥ That cheered me up!
Sad to see Hristina leave, I put the kettle on and noticed the buttercups coming through in the bottom field near the tree copse. I think.
The evening Carer arrived. As he was preparing the medications, the mobile phone rang. It was the Doctors surgery, with the new dosages of Warfarin for me. I turned to get the mobile that also rang… turned back and got a for my bother, then pulled my foot from under the chair, landing in a heap, but onto the recliner! Dropping the mobile phone. Getting back up, I indicated for the Carer to take the call. He handed me the phone. The receptionist gave me the new dead-easy-to-remember Warfarin doses. 1½ every day until 16th May. Carer Victor wrote the details into the Carer’s folder for me. The stubbing and fall made me feel a little out of it.
I finally got on with Blogging, but I think I’ve got the following photos in order.
Earlier shot of the feet before mangling them. Hehe!.
