06:15hrs: I leapt from the £300, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966, discomfiting, alarmingly beige-coloured, crumb-containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner. Threw off the catheter night bag and did 100-press-ups. Then 300 toe touches while I yodelled loudly.
A bit of shadowboxing and some torso turning. A couple of minutes of weightlifting… Then woke up for real
and prevented me from moving for a while. I grabbed the Pain Gel tube, and somehow managed to get up on my feet without tripping over the tubing, and lathered on where I could reach o the back, then took an extra Codeine Phosphate painkiller. It didn’t do much good.
Removed the night pouch, and I sat down again.
Boy was EQ right with his warning of ‘Pain to Come’ last afternoon.
The agony was too weak a word to describe it.

Struggled to get the thick slippers on.

Emptied the night bag, wrapped it and binned it in the appropriate bag.

Made a brew and waste bags up to the door.
Did the BP test while waiting for the kettle.
Then got the computer on.
After five minutes…

More followed! Tsk!

While the Internet was down, I tried to read the letter from Nuthall Hospital. But it was hard work with the spyglass. I asked a Carer to assist to make sure I got the time & date right. Put it on the calendar.

The Internet was back on again. Got on with updating yesterday’s not even started yet, blog. But…

While waiting for the Liberty-Global owned, Virgin Media to start again, I realised that it must be the demand on the system my Royalists wanted to see the Coronation? Or would that be right? Would it affect things?
I titivated the Carers stable a bit – and sod-it, & were joined by all increased their agonies inflicted on me. I know full well that I should not take Ipobrufen, but the Paracetamols are not doing anything to ease the pain at all, so I took one.

I must call and ask the Doctor if anything else is available. The sheer consistency of the three of them is grinding me down today. They are detritioning my resistance. I bet that EQ is reading this smugly after yesterday’s warning from him?

The Landline Flashed!
It was someone from DHL.
He informed me that they had been given the wrong area code, which is why the parcel was not delivered yesterday. I confirmed it with him. It will be arriving later today. After ringing off, I wondered how the food had been stored, cause there are some fresh foods ordered? Later a driver called me, couldn’t understand much of what he was saying, but gathered he needed instructions to the flats, Did my best.

Carer Rhamat, or was it? I think that was her name. To think, a year ago, I was almost proud of my memory of names. Not anymore!
While she was here, the DHL man arrived. Rahmat took the box from him and put it in the hallway for me. I said my farewells and forgot all about the box… the box I nearly tripped over and still didn’t empty it!

A vastness of a Memory-Blank came over me. A few hours later, I remembered the box in the hallway!
Set about sorting it out.
Got it opened and the things sorted…
This should see me through without an order next week.
Goulash etc., fit for a king!
But not Charles 3rd, me! Hehehe!.
There had been ice packs in the box. But with them coming a day late, they were now just bags of water. Got some meat for Sister Jane as a treat.

Back onto blogging…
ARRGH!

Carer Jo-Anne arrived, and I showed her whatever material it was that was in the box. We laughed as I said I could use it as a head scarf, and wrapped it around my head. She did laugh raucously (is that the right word?), and she took some photos of me. Hahaha!
This one she took with my camera.
We couldn’t work out what cloth it was. Used presumably to protect the food? The thing self-destructed, disintegrated later, and just fell apart – making a right mess of my dressing gown & carpet?

I shall have a bit of the vegetable bread loaf and potatoes for tonight’s meal, methinks.

Another Memory Blank, and the girl-ailments, after easing off a little, were back on full-throttle pain-wise.

I took this off of the TV earlier. I managed to watch about ten minutes of the performance. But found it a little sad in a way.
Diane, No-Sweat-Prince with a bad memory. The wonderful way in which Her Majesty visited the tenants of the Grenfell Tower Disaster!

Carer Chloe came (I’m pretty sure that name is right – but…).
I told her I’d taken a painkiller extra, so none for me tonight.
I do believe that the ailments are easing again? Or am I?

Fodder Making Time!

Just swede & carrot, with sea salt and a splash of vinegar.
Potatoes, vegetable loaf and the swede & carrots.
Two out-of-date cheap bread rolls.
And a pot of dessert.
All eaten up – and followed by…
Vegan ice-cream.
Overall Taste Rating: 7.8/10.

I put the computer back on, when I found some photos from this morning, that I swear were not on the SD card then, but they are now?
Such are the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the ghosts, wraiths, spectres, cacodaemons, apparitions, and other grotesqueries that haunt the hallways and lobbies, searching for Inchie to curse with bad luck, create ambiguities, abstrucities, perplexities, misfortunes and botherations, to scare. worry and confuse me! Cataract Kathie, Neuropathy Pete and Doreen Dementia are the main culprits. There are others, of course!

The Missing Photos…
Just after midday, I think!
Front car park.
Pareidoliaist-time here. Can you see anything?

I took a final photo from the kitchenette window.

Nightie-Night All!

I was greeted by three ailments on awakening after the amazingly long three hours of sleep I enjoyed. (Touch of sarcasm kept in there!)
, and . were so bad, I wondered how I even got the three hours in that I did manage! This probably inspired the ode above?
The thought of having to fetch the water from the kitchen when I utilise the later were not pleasant. I took off the night pouch from , and gingerly rose from the £300, second-hand, decrepit, Haemorrhoid Harold-testing, sleep-deterring, nauseatingly beige-coloured, not-working, recliner.
The plates-of-meat looked in decent nick.

I took an extra pain-killer to fight off , who was in full attack mode, before my carrying the water from the kitchen to the wet room four times each visit. and were joined in their attack formation by my . I’ve waited for a month now to get the WC mended. Giving me a date if attendance was nice of them. It was for the 11th of July – I’m going to have agony for

another four weeks. The thought of it is not a good start to any day!

Pretty glum out there.
Did a close-up of rectangular eyes.

I did the Blood Pressure figures.
And got an email about next weeks Iceland delivery.
It’s coming today. The usual shortages mind you..

Carer Israel called this morning both early visits.
Iceland delivered on his first one.
The other drivers usually take the bags into the kitchen for me. Not today, must have been extra-busy. By the time I’d got the into the kitchen, as you can imagine; and the both upgraded their attacks… with support from
I think the warning about things getting painful from EQ, might have been meant for today. Cause already the pains are hard to cope with, and I’ve not been to the WC yet, and done any water-fetching activity?
Wot? Me? Worry!
I got the bags into the kitchenette. Back to the Carer for the medication-taking, and am ashamed to say, so bad were the combined pains, I took another of the disallowed painkillers. It was really bad at this point, although had calmed down a lot, and was still in full flourish. The suddenly eased off. Great!

I went back to the kitchen to sort the fodder out and took this snap of the house next to the park being done up. Coming on well, methinks?

At least Iceland had some of the little potato-bake potatoes in stock.
And the treats of cartons of ice-cream flavoured Aviva drinks.
Bread thins, tomatoes, potatoes & veggie oxo cubes.
No shortages of fodder here!
Even if some are unwanted substitutes.
Topped up the Carer, Nurses, Drivers’ treats.
Alcohol to the right, others to the left.
Low calorie treats (mostly).

By the time I’d got everything away, only .
was any real hassle.
OF course, I’ve not been carrying bowls &.
buckets of water to and fro, yet.
Still, waiting two months for a plumber should not be.
a bother, really. It’s just the agony I’m going through
every single day, several times when using the W.C.
I’ve got water to get, just being handicapped with
so many ailments are getting to be a far too
painful task every so often for me.
I glean that it cannot be classed as an emergency; at least I have water. It’s just killing me fetching it! If other elderly folks have no water to use, or families with ankle snappers, or Cannabis growers need water for the plants… I don’t mind, really.
But I do wish someone could please, help the pain.

The bloody have come back again.
Can’t concentrate now on blogging. I’ll have a go at getting back onto WordPress Reader – fingers crossed 🤞.
Hurrah! Got on it!
Now to sort some nosh out!

Imitation belly pork slices sarnies made, with much of the gorgeous.
plant butter lathered on them.
The Iceland crunchy potato chunks had too many
black eyes in them, so I had to check each one
before putting them in the oven.
The beetroots were, unfortunately, similar to ball-bearings
in texture. Disappointing!

I still give this meal a Taste Rating of 7/10.

Nodded off, woke up by the final Carer calling. (Tomey?)
Night-bag was attached.
No painkillers: too soon after the previous ones. I’m sure I heard the vicious, angry laughing at this! Haha!

Another broken-nights kip. Pains & Thought Storms to blame!

FARE THEE WELL!Go forth in Peace…

Then a Social Worker arrived as the nurses were leaving. An
in-depth Q-A session on my needs, this took another hour. I wish I could remember more of what took place, but Dementia Doreen was in full flow today
Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet went down three times today, thus delaying me even more in my own mission of getting the blog done!
It was Saturday morning late on when I finally got around to starting this blog from scratch – and up to this time of writing..,
Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet’s gone down three times alrSody!
I have to get a move on to get this one done, and the chances of my statodaydare’s, is somewhat remote… like the chances of Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet ever working without going down, really!

I did manage some incrediblewesome sunsets; all the same, I think I might deserve a medal or ar least going into a Smug-Mode?

Feet are still bloated.

Morning view.
Close-up of home extensionings. Coming on well?
The bottomfield, is getting greener!

Ablutionisationings!
The dreaded water carriers!

Ablutionings done!

Spuds in the crock-pot.

First catheter pouch emptying after the nurses had left.
I think I can see some spots of whatever in the wee?
Oh, dearie me!

The second shot of the home extensionings was taken because I’d forgot I took the first one. Looks like some more work has been done?

Went dark in the afternoon.
Pareidoliaist Joy! And it got
much better over the next
hour…so….

I see so many things in these later clouds!
Bootiful!
Wider shot.
My favourite, found fish (some flying) and a face or two?
A wider shot reveals so much!
Later, looks like are waves approaching?
Sun gets through as she gets lower.
Took a zoomed-in shot…
Farewell…
Sadly…
All gone!

The last caller arrived and put the night catheter bag on for me.
A quick natter, and off she trotted.

It was very late by the time I got the meal served up.
It was only potatoes, nowt else but salt…
Well, the butter that wasn’t butter…
Yet it tasted even better than butter!
On offer at the moment at Asda! (Walmart).

Jolly Good Morning!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I was woken by the arrival Carer, and I tested my body for signs of my current favourite ailment attacks. I’d barely moved in the c1966 charity shop bought second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner; the moment I tried to lift a foot off of the chair…

Heavens above! The feet and toes were swollen with liquid. Under the toes, it was agony to stand, let alone hobble anywhere. My balance was all over the shop, too. So I took the medications from the Carer and enjoyed a little natter.

An amazing coloured sky this morning. Not a good light for taking photographs, though.
I did my bestest and tried a couple of times; this is the better of the two.
The was needed as the chap departed. So, I decided to get them done after the battle against the not-working/refilling W.C. water tanks, and hits mornings struggle was one of the worse in the two weeks that the plumbing mechanism was reported to Nottingham City Homes. For sure had returned! Talk about resistance! I had to keep painfully urging things along repeatedly; the worst was when the concrete torpedo was half evacuated, and things stopped moving for a while. Arrgh! I feared something was going to rip open!

It must have taken half an hour to get it out, with a thud and splashing water – followed by complete and utter relief! Thank Gawed that the evacuation was out without any injuries; they were the odd specks of blood, but that’s to be expected.
The most thing was that were not too painful at all. The first mystery of many today! Having achieved this first mission, the Dangerous one remained, collecting the water to refill the non-working water W.C. tank.

Not easy, especially with carrying the walking stick and the state of the feet and toes. OF course, my E.Q. knew what was… likely to happen, and it did. On the last trip, , along with a flash of ‘s attention at the same time; just as I was going into the wet room.
I lost my grip on the bucket but managed to throw it inside the wet room and avoided a mess in the hallway. I decided to get washed and shaved in the wet on the floor, in case I had any more , and save having to clean and dry things twice.
An unexpected touch of logic there from the old chap?.

A Work of Art
No, that’s not what I mean…
FARCICAL-MAYHEM
That’s better!

Approx. 08:00hrs; I was going to do the teeth first. But another mystery arose; I just could not find the toothbrush? Had I thrown it in the bin yesterday? Or put it in my dressing gown pocket?

So, now teggie cleaning today! I totally forgot about using the shower and set about, with the aid of Dettol, Carbolic soap, nail brushes, flannels and the picker upperer, to have a stand-up scrubbing down… which was not easy at all. What with the extra-long tube on , trying desperately not to catch and pull the tube, then remembering to dry the pouch again without pulling at it and having a blood flow from poor little Little Inchies, vulnerable .
Naturally (almost), I tugged the tube drying behind the pouch, and the blood flowed onto the wet floor. I just carried on. It was a watery mess in there anyway, and I will get it sorted later.

Then, the SHAVING
I bet you expected me to tell you of all the cuts and haemoglobin flowing down, taking a circular route down my bloated belly, and joining the blood flow coming from poor Little Inchies ever most bothersome Fungal Lesion? You’d be right! A dollop of liberally applied Brut aftershave soon stopped the leaks. (Not on Little Inchie, I hasten to mention, I’m not a sadist. Hehe!) Just on the chin, lip and ear lobes – I’m not sure how I cut the ear lobe in the first place. It could have been a micro-shake from , or .

I took some anti- capsules. Then, got the alert wristbands on, not forgetting the wristlet Alert Alarm. Then treated Little Inchies Fungal Lesion with plain cream as best I could. Just plonked it on and then gently winced, and that was that. Did my best to pain gel the awkward to get to try medicating. Rubbed some into the knees. Some of the ointment went on the floor, but plenty of cold water was down there to do no harm. Dried the bum well and applied copious amounts of the dearer than gold weight for weight, Germoloid Ointment. Dearer than the Germoloid Cream but much more soothing.
The ear and eye drops were put in; there was a drop or two that actually got into the eyes this time! Hehehe! I got the slightly less painful to wear but very costly new Tena for Men and P.P.s.

Rebanded the wristlets.
Then, started Cleaning Up The Wet Room. I left at 10:00hrs. That took a long time! Longer than usual… is the cause of this farcicalness!

Ah! , on the server trolley in the wet room, naturally, obviously on one of the toes that had  !

The & activities took me, I believe, a good 2hrs-10min, including the and . Oh, and the cleaning up!

The being enlarged, scaffolded house caught my immediate attention. Seeing this work reminded me of the old ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ T.V. series. Especially when the lads are working n it.
The next snap taken was to the right of the kitchen window. Displaying the flats’ balconies and the gravel footpath by the tree copse into Woodthorpe Park.
Sad, really; I used to hobble up there so often in my pre-handicapped days.
I had a moment or two of self-pity to cope with.
But I soon pulled myself out of it, sternly talking to myself. Self-disgust at me self-pitying moments. I was rather proud of that!

Then learnt out of the window as far as I dare, with a good grip on the camera loop, to take a shot of the Winwood Heights car park below Woodthorpe Court, where I dwell in hell.
Hehehe! Only joking!

A confirmation call from Deep Vein Thrombosis, Anti-Coagulation Therapy, Warfarin clinic, Haematology Angel Hristina ♥, that she will be calling on me next Tuesday to take a blood sample for analysis & INR Level. Super news!

I started the computer and opened CorelDraw to add the photographs of the day. And found that several snaps had not made it onto the S.D. card… yet again!

I think the right foot was getting thinner, with less fluid content? (But this did not last long. She was soon all bloated & painful. Tsk! The keep trying to come up, but they soon disappear, but never for long?
It seems that after the washing etc., in the wet room hours & hours ago, I’d put all the wristlet bands into one wrist for some reason.
As I often do, I could not remember the word Dementia; as usual, I glanced at the bands on the left arm… it was not there! You’d be gobsmacked at what I did then… (I was!) I went into the wet room and searched around… no luck; I Tried the kitchen, the same result, so back into the rubbish… I mean, the front room. Then, I glanced at my other wrist as I got on the computer, still not remembering the word.
. What a  . My brain is !

All of the poor-quality sunset photos and the one of the meal were lost into the ether, never to be seen again! It was only chips and bread with BBQ sauce, but I enjoyed it. Taste-Rating: 6.6/10.

Ah, hang on, though. Did I really take the shot of the nosh? My admittedly unreliable, unpredictable, somewhat retention-lacking memory may just perhaps, possible, could, might be wrong here. As I recall, the late Carer called as I was about to settle to eat the meal – Yes… I may not have taken the snap, but I meant to? Being confused, apart from being an accessible mode to live in, no effort is required. You see, will take care of all that for you!

Would I have all these problems if I was born into an oligarchy?

PURE CONFUSION

I started in the usual of late meandering around. Picking up the pain from each time I had to refill the W.C. tank by hand
However, the problem coping was not good at all. When the famously inept , I was just in the process and saving my work on Word, Excel, WordPress, and CorelDraw.
.
After waiting for a  long time for Mr Fries’ money-manipulating Liberty-Global gang of oligarchically-minded smoke & mirrors utilisationing company to get it back online.
It’s not surprising; it’s been down five times in three days.
Up until around midday, things seemed (other than Liberty-Global – Virgin Media letting me down) had seemed to be going well…
Then, the computer stopped me from typing in anything. Was it the keyboard? I put in new batteries. With help, we got it going again in a short time. Ten minutes later off for the third visit. This time with the added excitement (That’s not the best choice of words), I had an !
Taking the last of three buckets of water to the wet room to refill the non-working W.C. tank…
I had a bout with , and dropped the bucket! There was not a lot of mess made .
Apart from spilling the water in the hallway and Wet room at the same time, , followed swiftly by rather pissed-me-off.
By the time I’d cleaned things up, I was a different person who entered the wet room. Absolute lack of concentration, getting befuddled almost without a reason. Sadly, no notes were taken down for this blog at all! Either that or, in my confusion, I threw away the wrong notes? But I always make notes? Fair enough, Sometimes I can’t read them… surely I did – didn’t I? What a day to miss doing them; with me suffering a horrible ‘Massive Mind Blank’, too! Harrumphs! I think it was for four hours or so in the afternoon? Or did I nod off? Some bits are plainly recallable, others like mud, unclear… but did they actually happen to me in the first place?
Only one ailment to blame!

Like the circadian event of Liberty-Global – Virgin Internet failure.
The guaranteed agony of fetching water to fill the W.C. tank.
The daily walking into a door frame, cabinet or cupboard. Thanks to

My awakening moment, and was in desperate need of a good scratching, scratching session.
Until O moved my crumpled dressing gown and saw the state of the Catherised knee…

Immediately, I saw a face… blood spots as eyes with a mask on, bottom strap scar as lips, papules as a nose…
Can anyone else see it?

I’ve no idea what it was of?

This one, I do recall…
.
I heard the sound of the mobile tone and set about searching for it. It had to be in this room, else I would not have heard it…
A long search for the 1982 Nokia ensued. No luck.
I did find it this morning.
In the dressing gown pocket!

Photo of potatoes in the crock-pot.
.
I’m certain, positive, sure that I took photos of the finished and served-up meal… I think! By the time I got around to updating this on Wednesday near noon, they were not on the SD card? The same with my memories of taking photos of the tree copse and people walking their dogs… am I getting confused with other days?
And I swear I took some poor-quality sunset pictures – none on the card again, either? Grumph!

Only these photos of the feet were left on the card???
I took these over the day, can’t recall the actual times, but think they are in order chronologically.

Good, Morning!

Food Delivery. I’d just finished refilling the W.C. water tank for the second time this morning and was already giving me enough gip – but by the time I’d got these into the kitchen, agony reined. Seemed to stay with me all day long? Morrison’s had some fresh veg in stock!
Porridge, beetroot, milk, Shloer and treats for the callers and nurses.
Oh, and some extra painkillers in an effort to tame or at least calm down , and . They didn’t work!

Got two of the Desiree red potatoes in the crock pot.
When cooked, I’ll slice them up to go in the veg soup I’m hoping to make, using the ready-cut vegetables & seasoning’. I can usually manage to cut the potatoes without any injuries… well, the odd cut or burnt finger or droppings of the product. Tsk!

Took these shots of the sky and clouds, and I did a spot of jolt decent ‘Peaceful-Pareidoliaing’ for a while.
Plenty in these two for any pareidoliain to enjoy.

Hours of blog work later, I sliced the boiled potatoes and got them into the oven to crisp and toughen up to go in the soup.
Got the ready-cut vegetable in the saucepan.
Added some more seasoning to taste.
Got the baked potatoes added, served up and feasted! I’d left some in the pan to warm up tomorrow… it seemed a good idea…

.
Guess who ate his nosh, totally unaware that the idiot had left the heat on under the saucepan? Here’s a clue…
What a mess! I did my bestest to salvage the saucepan…
It is now laid to rest in multiple black coffin bags and laying at rest at the bottom of the waste chute tunnel.
R.I.P. It was an expensive one too! I now have four saucepan lids that don’t necessarily fit any of the others. And the waste tip was the destination of all four of them. Ah, there’s an idea, an Ode to Saucepan Owning Dementia Doreen Sufferers? Still, I have to say I really did enjoy the flavour of this effort; Not the cremation of the fodder left in the doomed saucepan; I meant the food I ate. Thought I’d mention that just for clarificationalistacalisationing.

After digging out what I could of the burnt offerings to go on the plate, this concrete had to get dished with the saucepan.

Worra Wild Sunset View!
Another Pareidoliaing session with this one.
Can you see the flying bird?
Dolphins in the sky?
The running tap?
Or is it just me?
Who can see?

Hehehe!

Oh, the nosh’s flavour rating, I missed that. Sorry.
Taste Rating: 7.5/10. Nice!

Auf Wiedersehen!

Talk about relaxed and out-of-it!
Nothing hassled me, and there was plenty of

I’ll use the few photos I took.
Cheers from him, who’s lost it!

First photo after the calamity of carrying the water from the kitchenette to refill the still unmended, non-working W.C. tank.
Lost balance and dropped the bucket.
Got the shave and washing done and really worked hard to get the P.P.s on. A minor Accifauxpas hit my back on the door when I toppled precariously but did not go down. Naturally, this kicked off BPB Back-Pain-Brenda. Been nibbling painkillers throughout the day, yet it didn’t phase me, and I kept calm?

Cleaned up the mess from the bucket fiasco… well, the water, W.C. and checked the taps were off!

Took another shot from the same place.

I got deep into concentrating on the blog work.
The Carer arrived, & did the medicationalisticalisationing.

♥ Heavenly Delight! ♥
Then, I do like this title; The QMC Haematology, Anticoagulation, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Warfarin nurse called to take my blood sample to check the INR level. Sweet Hristina

My Pareidoliaing came to the fore when I looked at yesterday’s photo above. Danged if I can see it now, but I saw a pig’s face and snout in the photo. This encouraged me to make this graphic. Blown if I can see it now… but it’s well late in the day before I got to doing this blog, and my eyes are always worserer when I get tired.

Afternoon shot, taken when I went to the kitchen to make my first mug of Glengettie tea. (I said I was feeling odd, didn’t I?).
I left it on the side near the kettle, and I heard the phone going off. Hobbled to get it answered before whoever it was, rang off.

It was the lady from the QMC Haematology, Anticoagulation, Deep Vein Thrombosis, and Warfarin Clinic. She reminded me that I have missed the last four appointments with my Doctors to give my blood sample. I calmly stated: I’ve had all your letters telling me, and the Carer rang the Doctors for me, who said there were no appointments made at all. She asked about my eating and, what the Carers do for me, how do they give the medications. In my hand in a tub. Do they always give you the correct medications? No idea; I usually just take them and swallow them. I trust them. Adding: That’s because when I took them myself, I was getting them wrong. That’s why the carers started coming. When I mentioned to her that the haematology nurse came this morning, she was not aware of this. I can’t remember the other questions, but there were plenty of them.

I had to visit the Porcelain Throne for the third time, which of course, entailed the struggle with the buckets of water to refill the not-working W.C. tank. BPB was already bad but got worse!

I added some more Paracetamol to my order for tomorrow, with a packet of Nuro… whatever they are called, to the order.

Took a photo of the early evening view.
Noticing that a local house was having an extension built.
I am a nosy devil! Hehehe!

Care Jodie arrived. Got the evening medications sorted for me. We had a mini-gossip and a laugh.

The leg was itching underneath the day pouch.
The weeing got more frequent suddenly.

Evening shot.
Pareidoliaing opportunity here?

Carer arrived. I got on the computer after the gal
went off on her rounds, I fetched another bottle of
spring water, and took this shot above.

Well, I must get something to eat.
Back in the morning… well…

Tuesday Morning 0650hrs Catch-up…

So, tired, and the return of a was coming on. After two days of hairy-fairyness and feeling out of it, this came almost as a shock to me. The depths of misery flooded my every essence, and I genuinely feared for my sanity – I wasn’t coping well at all with this bout of sudden despondency.
Yet as I had two, almost at the same time, this seemed to bring me back to
normalcy… well, as close as I’ll ever get to it, anyway, with my mind withering with being eaten and tormented by accompanied by the day-long pains from . (Nearly lost the plot there with waffling).

An erupted as I was washing the pots. I made a grab for Metal-Mickey, knocked my knee against the cabinet, and toppled a dish from the draining board; that hit the , catching and knocking the release valve on its way down to smash, seemingly at the time, into a million pieces, as I wee’d down my leg onto the kitchenette floor, and into my slipper! I cursed and swore proliferously as my first reaction to the . Initially, my language and responses were getting increasingly more volatile.
❶ I closed the catheter pouch valve first actioning.
❷ Got my slipper off and binned it.
❸ Then, trod on some of the broken crockery pieces.
❹ Swept up the pottery slivers. Sealed and binned them.
❺ Got the Speed-Mop out and cleaned the floor.
❻ Stood in a bucket with Dettol in the water and cleaned and sanitised my foot.

❼ Refilled the bucket with water so it was ready for my next need of the , to refill the still-not-working W.C. tank.
❽ These actions had given , a new impetus to inflict even more pain on me!
❾ I took a Codeine and Paracetamol.

Then at long last, got around to making a scratch meal. Close to midnight now! Made some cheesy potato mash and found some, hopefully, in-date soy mini-sausages in the fridge, with a good splashing of BBQ sauce. Two bread rolls and a pot of strawberry dessert. Very nice simple nosh; I was too tired to bother with anything fancy. Flavour-Rating: 7.10.

It was while ingesting this surprisingly edible meal… that I realised that I had calmed down so much since the last round of cruel , apart from the pain they left me in, they seem to have had no lasting detrimental implications now at all?

The gave me a break last night. ! However, the combined forces of and rejuvenated assured me of another bad night for waking up far too often. Humph!

Toodle-Pips!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Waking up, I was tremendously resistant to the thought of trying the computer.
As I took off night bag, I was not concerned about anything other than ‘Will the computer work?’ After yesterday’s performance with the mystery ‘Process thingummybob’ for eleven hours, I felt it might be the end for the Bang & Olufsen. My heart was not in what I was doing, and I feared the worst. I was resisting any activity apart from removing the night bag. However, the need for the was getting urgent, and the bubbling and grumbling from ruled innards forced me into action… reluctantly.

Deserved a ‘Medal-of-Muckiness’. Splattery, phooey, sloppy, and the last lb of it did not want to evacuate.
So 15-20 minutes passing and cleaning up was followed by ten minutes fetching and carrying water from the kitsch to the bathroom, three trips needed.

Got the waste bags sorted out, the computer was about to be put on, and the Carer arrived. Got me medicated, and as she left, it was back to the for me! Not so messy, but three trips, well six come think of it, were needed. This time, BPB kicked off Summat rotten and has been a bother ever since up to now. Then, believe it or not, the started on me! Then I found that poor Little Inchies . And I had to find out if the computer worked yet – that bothered me more than anything else.

The computer started, looking good, then the risk of going onto Firefox. Dang gang, dwang,,, Dwang! I got the browser on, and nothing was opening… was it Firefox or the Internet. A quick look at the Liberty-Global Virgin box revealed that it was indeed due to the $26 million a year plus guaranteed bonus’s boss of Liberty-Global, Mr Fries, inability to send a signal to Nottingham that had caused my current dilemma.
Well, fancy that, Liberty-Global Internet going down. It’s not done it since yesterday as well! Utter (overcharging) Rubbish! Still, the oligarch is good-looking. Jealous? Me? Yes!

I made the first brew of Glengettie of the day while awaiting Liberty-Global to reinstate the overcharged-for-crap service to the flats.
I was surprised at how dark it still was when I took this snap of the view through the kitchenette window.
$26 million a year plus guaranteed bonus Mr Fries, Liberty-Global service had not yet returned.
Not that I was too bothered, I had to visit the for the third time. 6 more trips with the water and BPB is even more painful!

Aha, Mr Fries, $26 million a year plus a guaranteed bonus paid, the boss of Liberty-Global – Virgin Media had got the signal working again. Well done to that number-crunching oligarch! Hehehe! I’d just taken these blue photos. The mist is not clearing yet.

FINGERS CROSSED – I OPENED FIREFOX!
Yee Gawd, it seems to be working again?.
.

Sister Jane rang me. The line was breaking up badly, and I was struggling to catch most of what she said. Then the next Carer rang the bell.
I pressed on and got the Friday bl… no, Saturday blog finished, not much in it, but there you are. I can thank the oligarchical Liberty-Global’s Mr Fries for that.

Cor, Blimey! A fourth trip to the flipping . And naturally, 6 trips to and from the kitchen to fetch water for the W.C. tank. Worst of all, BPB
was so persistent with her agony giving twinges!
I wonder if last night’s vegetable soup with added seasonings might be the reason for my messy, sickly, repetitive marathons?
I didn’t take any photos of it cause I thought I’d be without a computer this morning.

Got the Health Checks sorted and a graph made in the new Enforced upon me CorelDraw. I’m still and will be until , and have been repaired… as I mentioned yesterday… if I live long enough.

The Wee-wee Mystery

Hello, the wee-wee has started to rapidly flow…
And yet all day yesterday, it was so slow!
And I’d drank Spring water, 3L or so…
Today my guzzling rate was far below?
I reckon I’ve already passed a kilo…
Coming more often suddenly…
Will I ever again get to see…
Me taking a manual wee-wee?
Hehehe!

I went to the kitchen to see if I could plan a salvage operation on what was left of last night’s nosh in the saucepan. After a bit of ponderisationing, I made my mind up.
I added a tin of cheapo tomatoes to the stick mess, tasted it cold, and added some liquid sea salt to it. Then popped the last of the vegan min-sausages in… then gave them a good stir. I can heat them up later, with the last of the terribly bland; I’ll never repurchase them from Asda, mortgage-needing priced sourdough rolls.

I had a blast on the computerisationing.
But I didn’t get very far with my blogging. Why? I’ll tell yers…
Yet another call from the innards to the !

came in support of BPB , they mutually got at me, without mercy, after fetching the water in agony from the kitchen to refill the not working W.C. tank, yet again! I know I shouldn’t, but I took two Impofrufen Extras. But did not take any Paracetamol when the Carer arrived. I went back on with blogging but realised the semi-final twixt Manchester United and Brighton was on the box; thus, I made more and more mistakes, and my eyes worsened as I got tired… Poor old thing!

Ah, Extra-Time to be played. That’s put the kybosh on me getting some blogging done!

It’s no good, I sat here doing nothing physical, and the pains from the two ailments are still so bad. I risked taking another Codeine; I hope it helps with the gals, BPB and Please!

Watching the extra time of the match… and I smelt burning! Arrgh!
I hobbled rapidlyish to the kitchenette to find I’d left the heat on under the saucepan. An awful lot of the sausages had split open. Not that it matters, I suppose.
Back at the end of the match and trying to concentrate on this blog. Not a cat in hell’s chance, of course.

I gave up on the blog and watched what little was left of the match. Then went to see if any decent shots were available of the sun going down. Too early yet.
So I got the heat under the pan, slowly warmed up the food, and served it. Two rolls of bread and a mini-pot of dessert. Not too bad at all. Gave this one a Taste Rating of 7/10. The Carer called when I was eating it.

Added the night pouch too , and slipped me a couple of Paracetamols.

Washed the pots and took these shots of the amazing sky over the next half-hour or so.

Bootiful!
High, but on her way down…
The last fullish blest of her heat…
All but hidden now. Gorgeous!
A last quick peek

The Internet’s obscurity, uncertainty and ambiguity…
Are a total mystery to me!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
This will probably be My Shortest ever Blog!
Thanks to Firefox, the computer, Doreen Dementia, Peripheral Neuropathy Pete, Shaking-Shoulder=Shirley and/or Colin Cramps; or any variation of the above, highly possibly, all of them!.
I’ll explain: There I was, grafting away blogging my little heart out; Pleased that things were going so well… well, apart from the odd attack from my
.
As near to contented as I’ve been.

I’d got the top section graphics done ready: Cartoon, Ode, Spikes Quote, and the Health Statistics graphic completed, and on the blog…
THEN DISASTER STRUCK!
As I was putting the (only) photographicalisation of the day on CorelDraw, had the WordPress tag open and the Internet home page open, and a Firefox page opened. Took three photos of them; in the morning, I made the graphic below, so you can see my confusion.

I could not get this tag to close, open any others, or close the programme. Baffled, now? The top said ‘Firefox Process.
The number on the right of the list varied between ‘Idle’, 0.2% to 4.1%… but they kept changing all the time and jumping from one line to another? What could I do?
So I left it on the screen in hopes that it may come to a conclusion or decision; let me know and tell me what to do?
11- hours later, in the early hrs of the morning, it was only showing at what I thought must be the overall % done rate, 0.3%?
I boldly turned it off at the plug.
In the morning, I shall cross my fingers and pray and then try to get it going again.
Mission impossible? The Computer’s Imminent Death?
Sod it if it is!

As you can work out by this, it survived another day.
Not sure if I will – Will anything ever go right for me?
Silly Question!

– – – – – – – – Good Heavens – A betterer Day! – – – – – – – –
Mind you, it only lasted for two minutes.  Things started and ended up in their usual rather chaotic, cumbersome, clueless, cruelly-mistake and error-filled lack of knowing what I was doing: What was it? And most of
whatever it was that I was doing was either not finished or forgotten about. Morning and then in the evening, the sparse few details of my
intentions, plans & designs merged with an unreality, but that seemed okay with me at the time. I quite liked that!

According to the sparsity of scribbled notes on the pad, I got up at 06:00hrs.
Removed the night pouch and took it to be emptied and sanitised. En route, and I can really remember this; partly due to its the first time I’d done it for many days and secondly for the agony that followed it. I had a , and cringed, whinged and moaned a little to myself.
I did notice that my blood was keeping away from my feet and toes?. Took this snap to show you.
The wee-wee in the night bag was a very good colour, although there was not an awful lot of it?
Not peeing, toe-stubbing, and now a blood-clot-threatening lack of movement from the cardiovascular system had gone on strike. Haha!
The betterer day was short-lived!

A sudden, urgent and unstoppable evacuation began of its own accord – no warning this time. I barely made it in time, had I not been in the kitchen, I would a phoo’d myself; that’s how close it was. Huh! was back in charge of the evacuations. More time was lost cleaning and freshening up and fetching water from the kitchen to refill the non-working WC water tank. Had a quick wash, and I got the kitchenette floor mopped. I did take a snap of it, but for some reason, it was not on the SD card?

Got the computer on, and the first Carer called. A little natter after she’d serviced me. Back to the blogging for yesterday that had not been done yet. It’s gonna be a long day again!

They just can’t get it right. Can they at Liberty-Global?
His bosses at the oligarch’s money-manipulating business bought out Virgin Media and have got involved financially with ‘3’, Vodafone and EE, as well. As they lyingly say on their web page:

We’re building Tomorrow’s Connections Today, bringing people together through the power of our technology. Liberty Global is a world leader in converged broadband, video and mobile communications and an active investor in cutting-edge infrastructure, content and technology ventures. With our investments in fibre-based and 5G networks, we play a vital role in society, currently providing over 86 million fixed and mobile connections and rolling out the next generation of products and services while readying our networks for 10 Gbps and beyond. We’re creating national champions, combining the best broadband and mobile networks under brands such as Virgin Media-02 in the UK, Vodafone-Ziggo in The Netherlands, Telenet in Belgium, Sunrise in Switzerland, Belgium, Virgin Media in Ireland and UPC in Slovakia. Liberty Global Ventures, our global investment arm, has a portfolio of more than 75 companies and funds across content, technology and infrastructure, including strategic stakes in ITV, Univision, Plume, Lionsgate and the Formula E racing series.

Our scale enables us to transfer knowledge and expertise (other than how to get an Internet service to Nottingham that isn’t going down all the time) across our operations and investments, creating a dynamic family of brands united in the pursuit of innovation and excellence. (Giggle!) And we’re prioritising diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplace and communities while reducing our impact on the environment. We are using technology as a force for good; for our people, our partners and the planet.

Hahaha! A World Leader? Armholes!

They can’t even get an unbroken, working signal to Nottingham. And they have a mast up the hill from the flats. Of course, it may be an old one from when Virgin was reliable, trustworthy and economical to use?

Second Carer called. Medicated and had a chin-wag for a couple of minutes; she checked the taps and stove for me, took the rubbish bag,

I got a call from the Haematology nurse, Kristina. She is going to call on me Monday, twixt 9-10am. Lovely to hear from her. First time in about nine weeks now. ♥

Turned everything off to give the computer a rest and went to get the done. With EQ warning me to take care! So I will, I must; he’s never wrong, you know, about upcoming mishaps, Accifauxpas, whatever, back in 2 hours or so. (Sorry, I mean in the morning.)

Good morning – updating now…

Got the nosh sorted.
A better taste this time. (It’s about time too!) Not been very successful with
vegetable soup (canned); I made extra gravy and cooked some mushrooms with a splash of liquid smoke. Taste-Rating: 802/10.
Just got settled to eat it and the TV on, and the evening carer arrived. was patient and sorted the medications out. I told him that the INR DVT Warfarin nurse had called and is coming to take a blood sample on Monday. He seemed pleased for me, knowing as he did that no one had been for eight-weeks now. He shot off so that I could eat the meal, bless him.
When I went to wash the empty dish and things, I found I’d left the hot water tap running, and the hob on the cooker too! A bout of self-cursing and disgust followed!

Delved into the c1966 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, got the TV back on; and promptly fell into a deep comforting sleep.Waking bouncingly,. as the door chime woke me, and the late Carer Joanne called. She added the night bag to after giving me a painkiller. We had a little nonsense natter, and off she went on her rounds.

That was it for sleeping; tired as I felt, the kicked-off! After a while, I gave up, got up and was glad I did, for the night view was grand and photographable in the extreme.

Pareidoliaing perfection…Superb!
Warm colours.
Grand!

I got back into the flea-bitten recliner, and no sooner had I settled than the fan-dangled visited. They seemed to be having a discussion and not including me this time? The oddest thing, feeling, sensation that I’ve had in a long time.

This went on for ages, and then suddenly, it snapped back into the usual assault of guilt, stupidity and shame directed straight at me. (Which is the usual thing, so, somehow, it comforted me?)
But  was still resistant.

I recall using the wind-up torch to make sure that the wee was getting through to the , and seeing that it was 02:00hrs.
I reckon I drifted off thereabouts and didn’t stir until 06:00hrs.

TTFNski!
