A Jolly Good Morning to you…
I greeted the world with a rendition of “Oh, what a Beautiful Morning”, followed by “Onward Christian Soldiers”. Bounded out of the second-hand, £300, c1968, overwhelmingly-sickening beige coloured, tatty, uncomfortable, wobbly, germ-producing, falling to pieces, food residue-collecting recliner, and did a few rounds of shadow-boxing. Then 10 minutes on the weight lifting, and went out onto the balcony, and Yodelled Frank Ifield’s “She Taught Me To Yodel…

Or…

I stirred after only about four hours worth of kip, checked the clock, 04:45hrs, and swiftly fell back to sleep.
Woke with a nervous tic attached to my left eye, and checked the clock again, 05:00hrs.
I considered the option of getting up… Zzz!
06:00hrs the next time I woke, still with the nervous tic in the left eye. Danged annoying that was!
Back to Kip, I floated… Not waking until gone 07:00hrs! The tic still twitching away.
I even had to force myself then to rise from the comfort (that’s not the right word) of the recliner, to grapple with getting the night bag from . It soon dawned on me, that the night pouch had not been attached.
If I remember rightly, I must have forgotten to ask the Carer to do it. Of had I taken it off myself earlier? I think not, because the urine in the day bag was a deep brown-red. I stood and caught my balance, reached for , took off the dressing gown to cool me cool down, and went off to utilise, in response to the early call to the . Once0 again, was in control, very messy! However, ailment number 21, , after carrying the buckets of water to refill the not-working for 9 weeks now W.C. water tank, was far easier than she has been lately. That is thanks to the Carers rubbing in the Phorpain Gel regularly for me for a few days now. Easing the discomfort. But, as usual, the started off, as if to cover for BPB’s absence. Hehehe!
I got the computer on, determined to get yesterday’s blog sorted ASAP.
After five minutes of putting the photographs in from the Kodak SD card, and I realised many pictures that I took last night, were not there! Tsk! !

Then, I got a bit of a shock, sat sitting here, again wearing only , and the morning Carer came into the room! Somehow I’d not heard the chime.
I clabbered about to get the dressing gown back on sharpishly. got the medications sorted. Then got some gel rubbed into my back. Very welcome! Cheers!
Peptac taken. But no Paracetamols were needed.
I believe that Phorpain, which has Ipobrufen in it, serves as an extra painkiller? Having it rubbed in so often, it gives me a chance to reduce the drugs I’m taking. I’ll see how the pain levels go… Huh! As I typed about this, would you believe that the started off again?

I got the Saturday blog finished, and I posted it off to WordPress.

demand number two arrived. was even more dominant on this visit.
I dropped the PPs, sat, shat and was upright again within literally seconds! The mess was unbelievable and took me ages to clean up, and the bending to wash things disturbed , who was accompanied by a more persistent ! So much for cutting back on the drugs! I thought I’d better take another Galphram in hopes of controlling ‘s appetite for wet, smelly, gooey evacuationing!
The pins and plates seemed to be looking better.
Apart from the ankles of course.
Then, the urine started flowing a lot easier and faster for an hour or so. And a lot clearer and lighter colour, too!
I’ve not had a good stubbing for a long time now. This one was a cracker! Not that it bothered me, of course.
Pain means nothing to me at all.

The door chime chimed. It does that! I’ve noticed it a few times. Hehe!
It was neighbour Josie from across the hall. The poor gal was having trouble with her kettle again. Despite my acute lack of knowledge and fear of anything mechanical, technical or complicated, I went in to see if I could help her. I think I worked out what it was, too. I could be wrong, of course. But believe that the insert into the base looked worn a little. So filled her kettle up, and it worked! She’ll need a new one, though, to be on the safe side with electrics. She went to Wilko, but they had none in stock. So, a made her a mug of coffee, said my farewells and returned to the flat. And ordered her one from Asda, I hope her current one lasts until it arrives.

Got an email from old friend Chrissie, telling me that the cataract replacement is a ‘Doddle’, to use her own words. That was kind of her; she always knew what I was thinking 66 years ago when we were neighbours. and a lot younger. Hehehe!
Chrissie said she’d had two cataracts done. She mentioned a procedure she has to go through, regularly with an injection in her eye. I looked it up. I think it is called ‘Laser Injection Photo Dynamic’. Bless her! ♥ I asked her if she found out what it was that was eating her toe.

Got the oven heating up, and a can of Golokowa ready, then peas & carrots in the saucepan. All I have to do when the potatoes are cooked is get some slabs of the Flora Non-Butter butter in a couple of bread rolls. We’ll see how it goes; my plans are famous for their failures!

I’ll see if I can get it done before the night carer arrives.
Back soon… or in the morning.

MORNING CATCH-UP:

arrived. Medicationalised me, and took the waste bags with him. A little natter, I’m not sure either of us understood each other, but we ended up laughing. Haha!

The cloud formations tonight were indicative of changing weather, as Dad used to tell me. See that? I can recall from 70 years ago… but still, I forget to turn off taps, heaters, the stove, the shower power box, lock or unlock a door, the time, day, date… etc.! This picture evoked my love of nature.

I finished making the meal and got it served up on the plate and tray. Golonkowa, thick chips, carrots and peas; with two bread rolls filled with chunks of Flora no-butter butter. The chips were okay, and bread rolls and peas & carrots were all decent enough too… The Golonkowa and Plant butter were fantastically tasty!.
A well-deserved Flavour-Rating given of 8.2/10.

I washed the pots and settled down in the c1966. charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner. To watch something on the TV.
How come, when I want to sleep at night, I can’t? Yet nearly always nod-ff watching the goggle-box when the first set of commercials come on? Humph!

I was well away dreaming and came in, turned on the light, and it took me a while to work out where I was and what I was doing. I must have been deep in sleep.
Handed out the Peptac, then dolloped on and rubbed in some Phorpain Gel into my lower back. Nice! It really helps ease the pain from . Thanks! He then got the attached, a little too tightly, I found; when it came to me getting it off in the morning, to . Understandably, the lad doesn’t want it to come loose and leak. Took the fresh wastrel bag with him.

I had to get up to turn off the light. Got up easily enough, grabbed the , and turned off the light. Then… – A against the ottoman returning to the chair. At least I didn’t get tangled up in the long night-pouch tube this time. Hehehe!

Could I get back to sleep? No! Not for ages!

Fare Thee Well!

On the bright side, the number of murders committed is only 11% up from two years ago. Mind you, two of them were by Parole Board released early; scumbags! I mean the Parole Board Scumbags, who are as guilty as the killers they freed, and got paid a fortune for doing it from HMG.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Surely they expected this with an abysmal cost of food ever-increasing? So, what do they do? Reduce the police service numbers. Still, it’s more money for their expenses and treating the ex-judges on the Parole Board, innit? Bitter? Me? Yes!
Think about how devastated the poor family members feel when the convicted killer gets freed by the snotbags and kills their father, mother, brother, Sister, or another relative. Swine!

What a Busy Mind-Testing Day!
It is now Friday morning. Been up for two hours, and only just started this blog – and there is a lot to relate.
Sorry, it going to be cut short – another busy day Friday, methinks, with Social Services and Jillie might be calling.
Such a load of info: I can’t guarantee this is in the correct chronological order. Better get started
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The overnight dark-coloured urine bag was removed.

Legs & feet not looking too bad at all!

Within minutes a summoning from the innards to visit the . So, I did!
A closer check on the limbs. A smidge more blown, but not a lot…
Hard work passing, yet messy when it evacuated?
The usual agony and misery of fetching buckets of water from the kitchenette sink to refill the not-working W.C. water tank.
I reckon it’s been about two months out of action. And the last letter from the NCH Maintenance told me they were coming on
17th July. So if I’ve got it right, that means a 16-week wait; But more importantly, 16 weeks of agony, carrying four buckets of water every time I go for a dump! They must be busy.
Thank Heavens for the Carers! They give the back a good rub
with the Phorpain Gel, sometimes needing three applications, but always first and last thing at night. Having this done regularly, I do believe it’s helped ease the pain a lot. Thank You!

Took a snap of the morning view.
Made a brew, but for some reason, it tasted horrible? So. back to the bottled water for me.

Arrived. And rang the TSB for me. It took the gal ages to get through, options recorded messages etc. I could not hear, but had to speak to the man we got… relied on Kara to translate – the man asked a question, I said ‘Yes’ Not recognised, I said suit again and nothing… moments later we were cut off!
Kara rang back and spoke, rang off and told me they ‘Cannot send me statements through the post unless I ring and request one?
Not only do the Spanish Oligarchies who own TSB close all their branches; they are becoming as friendly and helpful as Putin!.
Remember the Spanish Oligarch’s lying adverts?

TSB announced the closure of a further 85 branches!

The closures will take place between April and June 2022 and will result in the loss of around 150 jobs. There followed 94 more branch closures… Not many left to close now!

Made a mug of Glengettie tea. Only four biscuits were dunked with it! Honestly!

I got onto the computer, a very late start; it’s taken me until Friday to get back on it. A nightmare!
YET AGAIN – ONCE MORE – ARRGH!!!
What with a bank that has no branches open and a most unhelpful helpline staff who cut you off, and refuse to send you Bank Statements unless you ask every month! The Worlds worst, most vile, incompetent, Oligarch driven Internet, Liberty-Global Virgin going down for the 9th time in three days. Losing work I was in the middle of… Grrr!

So, I started to prep the food for later on.
Then, the Asda order arrived…
The freezer was full now…
The fridge too! I thought I’d done it again, ordered something in error when I found two bottles of Strawberry Milk-Shake. But in the morning, pointed out the ‘Free Sample ticket on them. The highlights of this order were...
getting the pink soda water (My favourite) on this delivery, at last. And also some Caramelised Cookies (My favourites)
No rush to get things stored, as $26 million a year with guaranteed bonuses and an open expense account Mr Fries, one of the Liberty-Global Virgin Media top-dogs internet service, was still not working. I bet he’s worried about this? Embarrassed, maybe too?

I went through the on-off routine with the usual, regular, sickening, overcharging incapable Liberty-Global Virgin Media problem. No Luck! So disconnected the hub, gave it a minute or two and reset it. No Luck! Repeated the resetting, and (it must have been a mistake on the part of Liberty-Global Virgin Media… but it came back on. However…
I’d lost all the CorelDraw graphics I’d imported and doctored… plus I had to resave the work in another file name.
I’m not sure who is the biggest toss-pot of a company.
or
It’s a close-run thing, you know.
But the smoke & mirrors Liberty-Global Virgin deserve to be the top-wankers for their repeated failure and then sending me this email, to really confuse me and earn my utter hatred. Sorry about putting this on again, but it baffles and scares me!

If the Life-Line is going through a hub that keeps going down, they could kill me! I don’t mind snuffing it. That’s all part of life; I hate to think that they will get away with it, should I have another stroke or heart attack and cannot get help, and I clock out. Which can’t be avoided.
But, if anyone in the legal trade would make a note of this, and I could get some compensation… well, not me, I’ll be at St Peter’s gate arguing with him about my life struggles. Please note that a percentage of any dosh you get, please send to the RSPCA and Mental Health UK. Thanks. Oh, and some for the staff at Winwood Court. Cheers again! You can keep the rest for yourself.

I got a call from Social Services, regarding the meeting I had at the Coppice Mental Health Hospital yesterday, Brain Scan results, MCI & Dementia. Things I must have told them about.
Not a good line for my hearing, I’m afraid. Also, I got a little confused during the conversation. No idea what, if anything, was decided about. But nice that they are listening, and reacting.

I did an order for next week from Iceland.
Blogging again.

A couple of photos were taken prepping the nosh.

Looking good now…
PAREIDOLIAING
Can you see any features, faces or animals in the clouds?

Finally, I got around to making & eating the meal!
Boy, did I enjoy this one? Taste-Rating 9/10!

I even remembered watching a ‘Heartbeat’ episode…
Without falling asleep when the adverts came on!

The evening Carer Called, got the night bag attached to then the lad put some
on my lower back for me. Certainly helps this regular gelling.

The nearest thing to a sunset was missed as I fell asleep. But I got up and took these after-shots.

Now, when I want to sleep – I couldn’t!
Yet the lasted for less than usual. Replaced with fuddle-minded worrying of a vague nature. No panicking. Just an uncomfortable sense of losing control.

Evening All!
Well, Morning!

I emerged from my hibernation at 06:15hrs.

Removed the ‘s night pouch, got it emptied and wrapped it up for disposal.
Attended the first call to the .
Messy this time. It seems that the attack yesterday was short-lived. Was back in control.
Which meant a long time bending down and cleaning up was required. kicked off before I even started fetching and carrying water to refill the unattended too, not working or refilling W.C. water tanks buckets of water.
I think that ARGH! would be a suitable word at this point!
Took a shot of the morning view.
Then back to the Wet room to get washed & shaved.
The underarms were still a little colourful & itchy.
Just two tiny nicks shaving. One bump into the door frame, which urged to join in with I making life a smidge uncomfortable.
Got the waste bags sorted.
arrived while I was making a brew of Glengettie.
Kindly took it through to the front room for me. The Medicationalisations were seen to. I’d just taken one of the stronger non-prescription painkillers, so did not have any Paracetamols.

I got the computer on, Corel~Drawing, then opened the Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet. Need I say?
Oligarchs & Money-Manipulators ain’t bothered!

So, no blogging, then. I had some breakers, though. A pot noodle and another mug of tea, Salisbury’s Brown label Extra-Strong

Two carers arrived, Richard and Tina (the boss). Bringing the new medications. Checked the paperwork and gave me advice.
LIBERTY-GLOBAL VIRGIN INTERNET WAS STILL DOWN after they had departed. Well fancy that!
So went to the wet room to check on .
.
The pins and plates were looking in good nick?

When the Smoke & Mirrors man’s Internet came back on, I took another tablet; it was such a shock! Haha!

I tried to rush updating the Monday blog, but so many mistakes were being made, it still took me hours to get it done.

By the time I got around to starting this blog, it was afternoon!

I think a Carer came, I’ll check the book. Yes! But can I remember the details? Nope! Although I’d doyen a lot of blogging and re-blogging and mistaking, I know this they were on the screen when I came out of the
And, it was just before 17:00hrs!

How do I do this nearly every day?
I’ll make a note to tell the nurse tomorrow.
Still sunny outside.

Launched myself into doing this blog at long last.

Going to get some nosh sorted out now.
I want to get my head down early if the Carer comes early on.
I need to feel fresh enough to get up good & early. To sort everything out everything for the hospital trip.
I’ll see if I get time when I get back, to update this bloggeth.

TUESDAY 0540hrs:
Last night catch-up

Great, nosh, took a photo.
Sunset shots too.
Swollen left leg photographed.
Carer called, night pouch and natter (Great!)
took a photo of it.
This morning I found the SD card in the reader…
So nothing to show for my efforts!

WORD OF THE DAY: EPIPHENOMENALISM

I woke up at 05:10hrs, and I had a muse over what day it was, and I swiftly fell asleep again. Stirred again at 06:15hrs. Passed a lot of wind and coughed a little.
Then set about getting the night pouch off from the firm grip of . Carer Richard told me later it was Grade seven on the NHS Urine colour docket. A bit dark? I’ll try to drink more water today.

The innards demanded that I attend the immediately. So I did. Much less messy this morning. It seems that had made a counter-attack for command of this evacuation. I lot of effort was needed from me to get things started and moving. Painful and bloody for .
Far easy to clean up after the motion this time.
Cleaned the backside and ointmentated the rear end with Germoloids.
I found the missing toothbrush after several days of searching. It had fallen or been dropped, of course; out of sight and landed on the cleaning cloth that was a similar colour. I wouldn’t have found it but for a slight (Hard to believe, I know!) I dropped the Dettol bottle, bent to retrieve it and hit my shoulder against the sink; that’s when I saw it. I took no chances and used the little picker upperer to get it.
I cleaned my teeth, scarce and rotten as they are, for the first time in several days.
It was a bloody affair. What with and now losing blood, I must try to be careful. I just hope that doesn’t join in with them. Then, I did mayhap the riskiest job of every morning; getting the PPs on. Which is always a painful task and often one with tendencies and risks. But not this morning; the pain was there, of course – but no injuries! And not only, but also, I used the cheaper grey ones, which tend to split or tear occasionally, but again; Not this morning!

The sweat rash was less irritating as well this morning.
And far less coloured.
I still put some of the Savlon antiseptic creams under both armpits, though.

Even more good luck here; The feet, ankles, ulcers, and water papules were all looking good.
With my legs less swollen than for months?
.

Even filling the bowls of water from the kitchen to The not-working or refilling W.C. water tank, didn’t bother poor old so much as it usually does. Mind you, knocking the shoulder against the sink earlier, did set off , and so I was as careful as I was possible not to spill any water or drop a bucket, and I went in slow-motion, almost shuffling my feet flat on the floor, slowly along. But Shirley was only giving micro shakes at this time. How kind of her! Checked the taps were off, and off to the kitchen to get the kettle on and took this photographicalisation of the view.

I took a snap of the being-done-up house near the bottom field.
Saw some action today.
I thought I saw a worker on the top outer scaffold.
Got the kettle on and off to the computer to update yesterday’s blog. Which didn’t turn out as planned.
I couldn’t find the notepad I’d used?
Still, I did find the toothbrush!.
Got the blog done and posted of to WordPress.

Sounded from the door chime, and in came my treasured INR,  Anticoagulation, DVT Deep Vein Thrombosis, Warfarin phlebotomy Nurse Hristina. To take my blood.  That cheered me up! ♥ Lovely lady.

I had some brekkers.
A mug of tea and a tub of pot noodles. I added some veg stockpot seasoning and a splash of BBQ sauce.
Very nice it was too!. Even if I had made it thicker than I planned to
.
Carer Jo-Anne called. She kindly rang about the red marks under my arms for me. I rang Easy-Link but could not understand/hear the lady about the lift for the Coppice Hospital. Jo-Anne told me it was on, and I need to pay on the day.

Later the Surgery rang me. Again I was struggling to hear her, but I think she was telling me that I had not got an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. She did say ‘Don’t worry’. So I’ll try not to.
I’ve got more chance of Diana Dors coming back to life and asking me for sex!

17:50hrs: So light out there.
This changing of the clocks has always had me confused, but it seems worse than ever nowadays.
I really thought it was about 13:00hrs.
.

I’ll make a start on getting the meal prepped. After much musing and ponderisationing, I decided on a can of garden peas, chips and bread & butter.

I may return later (but doubt it), likely in the morning.

Well, what a farcical time I had. It’s afternoon now!
Complete Mind-Blanks (Apart from the delicious nosh) for the night.

This morning, with getting ready for upcoming the visit, and calls from Sister Jane, Carers extra calls with the medications (Fetched my Carer Richard for me, a grand chap.

EasyLink transport to arrange. INR result waiting. Never mind, I’ll try to get it on today’s blog. But it is now nearly tea time, and I have not even got this one finished yet. Think I’m a bit tense over my owing money to EasyLink, and the upcoming brain analysis thingamabob.

Oh, the lovely veggie meal last night, as I suddenly recalled. But as is the way with the Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind? It was thickly buttered sarnies – Really thick! Extra thick! Using the Vegan Not Butter. I had chips, peas and beetroot with them, Marvellous Tasting!. I took two photographs, and neither of them came up on the SD card this morning! Grumph!

Today, a Sunday, things were different,
Impenitence, imperilment, & impermanent…
Denouements, depriment, even diffident…
Mind-Blanks, mugient, & recalcitrant…
Worries fear moments of being ruminant,
But no instances of surrender, nor obeisant!
Many moments that I felt somewhat temulent…
Whoopsiedangleplops, feeling urgent…
And my armpits are still rufescent.

Late waking; this was due to me being very late getting to sleep.
being the cause of that. Put the saucepan in the sink to soak, and got the waste bags sorted out.
Then took two photos of the bright morning.
Down to the car park on Citrus Walk. No! Chestnut Walk.
Sun coming up from the rear left.

Booted the computer to load the photographs… the SD reader and Photos-File were not responding! Grunglegrogs!
I checked the connections and the SD card, and still no luck.
Turned off the computer at the restart button on Windows.
No-Go! Turned everything off and left it a couple of minutes, and tried again. Failure, defeat & depression!
As I was giving up and closing down yet again. I got a summoning to the . So I went!

FARCE
The water refill bowls were there, but on checking, the water I’d filled the tank with last visit yesterday – was not. The W.C. tank was empty! Grunglegrogs!
I assume that Jenny must have used it yesterday.
So, after a terrifying torrent was evacuated, I got the mess cleaned up,
I had to make six trips for water on this first visit.  Brenda was most angry with me!.
I took an extra painkiller again; this carrying water on each and every visit, is not doing my health any good.

Mopped the kitchen floor.

Afternoon views Views:
All from the balcony. End car park
Gravel path up the hill into the park.My much missed beloved Tree Copse. How I miss walking through it daily as I did long ago. Self-Pity brewing up here!
To the left of the centre.
Car park entrance end near Winwood Court.
Straight ahead.

Patterned legs?

Made  and at an early nosh.
Burnt the saucepan again.
Ate it all, then a dessert and a bag of cheesy curls.

Josie called asking if I had a spare kettle went to see her and returned.

Later Neighbour Josie called; she thinks well and is positive that she has not had her medications.
She returned later and was in a shaking panic, telling me the Carer has not given her the medications. Poor gal was terribly frail and nervous. I rang Meridian to confirm that she has had them, on the line for ages.

This got confirmed, but I could not convince poor Josie. Who returned again later, and in the right state. I said I’d go down to the office and explain to them. I just couldn’t convince her she has taken them. They keep her medication in a safe in Josie’s flat, as she gets so confuddled.
About creased me getting down to the office, but I had to, with failing to convince Josie. Returned to Josie, she was still certain she’d not had them. The carer said someone would go to see Josie. Whop was not convinced that they would come. I felt so much for her plight. She showed a smile at last!

Josie rang the bell to let me know she’s had her tablets. Someone had convinced her, and she looked much happier now!
So long trying to help her, It was my turn to get confused, as it is now 20:50hrs… I’d lost track altogether myself.

The legs and feet were looking good; my little hobbling for Josie about might have helped them?
Mind you, it didn’t help or please .

Managed to get just the one shot of the sunset in tonight. In between sorting Josie’s problem, well, trying to. Bless her.
A shame I missed getting more, but it was my painful pleasure to help someone else for once. It wore me down and out, but, it lifted my own spirits by a ton-and-a-half.

Back in the morning, to check the notepad for the missed bits.

Lost or misplaced, or maybe I ate the notepad?
Cause I can’t find it.
The Dodgy memory will have to be utilised.

Arrived for the last visit…
was attached to the day bag. Richard was puzzled as to how the shortage of one of the medications had evolved.

Summat else must have happened… but blown if I can recall what they were?

Woke up and removed the pouch. The feet looked even better this morning.

Morning view.

Off to the .
The usual struggle is to get the water to refill the non-working W.C. tank. The latest date for an ETA for a plumber is now in July.
Goes without saying, but was agonistic.

Brekkers

Blood Pressure etc., was taken. Far too high!
Cara Kara or Jodie? Assessed the urine as a grade 4. And put some Phorpain Gel on my back for me.

Visit Two.
Sorted the waste bags. Cartoons were done for the blogs.

Front car park.

During which, thee Cares Called. (In the log book)
I’d finished and posted the Tuesday blog. (It had been posted)
I’d acquired a burn mark on my right knuckle. (No idea?)
The balcony door had been opened? (No idea?)
I must have started the meal prepping. I’d opened a can of beans and added some of the Latvian garden peas, and a bottle of Borscht was also been used, added to the saucepan with the last of the fresh vegetables. All together with, I assumed, some BBQ sauce added.
Found this photo on the SD card.
Unfortunately, along with five frames that could not be read by the computer or CorelDraw in the morning.
Format Not Recognised?
I think the blanks covered about four hours or more.

Got the potatoes in the oven, nice and crisp and warmed up the beetroot soup with extra peas, vegetables, beans and seasoning.
Cracking Good Taste!

A new called twice tonight.
Rubbed some Phorpain gel into my back for me.

After he’d gone, I either fell into a deep sleep or
Mind Blank came on.
Woke up at 04:40hrs.

Ciao!

My sweetheart Jillie called on me today. Everything went twinkly. I lost all control as we chatted away, dreaming of being twenty years younger without the catheter. I can dream!
This caused very little else to happen or sink in anyway. So a shortish blog for this Sunday. I shall try to make notes to refer to.
Goodness Gracious me, it’s Saturday, innit?

Here goes…

I woketh up and got the Catheter night bag off of .
There didn’t look like much urine in the night pouch.
But it was a great shade, to say so little had escaped, a 4 rating.

Until I lifted it, and it was a decent amount after all.
Could have been due to or . But my money was on to blame.

The first summoning to the soon arrived as I was taking a photo of the morning view.

Off to the wet room.

Water containers were all prepared for refilling the Water tank that has not refilled itself for two months, and I have to wait until July before anyone can get to me to mend it. Humph!
was in charge again. A dagnab messy job cleaning up afterwards! was in top gear with the pain issuing as I started to carry the buckets of water, ready for the next visit – which you may be surprised to learn was five minutes after exiting the wet room!

This time it was a little more resistant to come out, I half expected a torpedo… but when it did arrive; Splutter-splash all done in seconds.
The urine was flowing well. (Stilton Cheese legs? Haha!)
Got the buckets emptied into the non-working W.C. water tank.
Refilled them due to and her hatred of me lifting and carrying anything whatsoever. I took an extra Codeine and carried on with my noon-working W.C. water tank refilling.

Still can’t find the toothbrush.
The session went wellish. Only two tiny nicks while shaving.
And, no third time for the head bashing against the sink.

Had a struggle again getting the PPs on.
Then I noticed a slight discomfort under the arms.

But the legs and feet looked great!

For the next, I don’t know how long, is mostly   . Jillie had called on me.
She helped settle my worries about the
.
Scary, worrying about phone changes and what I have to do to get it done. And booking alit to the hospital for next week.
I dread the thought of struggling with this.
Also, if it’s going on the Virgin Internet system, it’s more scary. They can’t even get a signal to Nottingham without it going down almost daily now – what chance the telephone?
Mumble, moan, groan & hatred of Liberty-Global Virgin!

I’d left the stew on medium heat for four hours!
I disgorged some of the veg, a can of garden peas and some water, and stirred away at it, hoping for the best.
It looks terrible but tasted okay to me when I tried some.
Got the spuds in the oven.

These photos I must have taken from tea-timeish to 20:20hrs.
Not that I can really recall some of them…
Closed the computer.
I’ll try to catch up in the morning.

PAREIDOLIAING.
I do recall this one. And seeing a tadpole?

Last one of this session.

Back in the morning with the nosh photos.

Good Morning – Update!

Asked the Carer if she’d put some cream under that arms for me, on the mystery red patches.
They bothered much less within an hour! Thanking her, or him for tending to me! I appreciated that. The affected area was fainter now in the centre underarm. Good!

I salvaged and doctored the borscht. Added some more peas,
and got it served up.
Flavour Rating: 8/10
A good tasty repast. Worth rescuing; glad that I did now.
Potatoes, roast potatoes, beetroot, peas (plenty of them!), carrots, red peppers, onions, and parsnips.
Seasoned with a splash of BBQ sauce and the Przyprawa.
Out of fresh veg now. Plenty of jars and cans in, though!

I got settled, well partially, into the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, testing, c1968 recliner.
Then noticed the change of colour from the sky coming in through the moth-eaten, thin, ripped curtains. I Got got the Kodak (Thanks to Tim in New Mexico donating it to me). And hobbled into the kitchenette to take some shots of the sunset…
I’d left the tap running in the sink from washing the pots up earlier. The hot water was cold, of course, now. . to blame!
I belatedly turned off the tap (faucet) and perused my mission of photographicalisationing the sunset before it disappeared.

Back to the unwelcoming £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, rickety recliner.

SWEET MORPHEUS – RESISTANT
THOUGHT STORMS ATTACK!
As for sleep… What’s that, I ask?
No rest for the brain tonight!
made sure of that!
The layup there tossing & turning, untangling the long night tube of that I’d wrapped around my ankles and legs repeatedly. Thadius went on and on and on, for hour after hour. I even had a few visits from ! Naturally was constantly with me… even when I did get to sleep, he was in the dream I had.

Cheerio, fy ffrind!

05:00hrs: I passed the wind and took the night pouch off . It was a smidge dark again. Not the contraption, but the urine, I mean.

Seconds later, there was a call from the innards encouraging me to attend the was responded to. What? Yesterday it was ruling things. This morning, it seems a counter-attack from had been fully successful; Konrad had regained control.
Talk about watery! I sat, I shat, and seconds later, I was cleaning up the WC, the floor, and my right leg. Thought I’d do a bit of freshening up and mopped the floor in the area; there was plenty of Dettol in the bucket.
The usual trudge to get water from the kitchenette to refill the non-working W.C. flush tank. As per: set about giving me pain. Got it done and went to the kitchen to consider putting the kettle on – but no! About ten minutes after the first visit to the , I was rushing back to the wet room, with some urgency for visit number two! Regrettably, I didn’t make it in time!
The disgrace, ignominy, and humiliation!
This time, of course, the cleaning up took twice as long. Cause in my haste to get down on the seat in time, I pulled the tube on  , and found that I’d started bleeding. So, even more pain and suffering, and I’d not yet faced the water-carrying duties! Which really cheered up ! On the last trip, her friend joined in with her. This was very testing.
The early Carer had not arrived yet, so I took a Codeine and Paracetamol to counter the now worse-than-ever discomfort. A few curse words were uttered, I’m afraid!
Washed and put on some new PPs.
.

I spotted some spots coming on the left leg.
.

Also, I kept feeling pulse-like or blood-rushing in veins at the top of my head. I had this on and off all day? Same spot every time. It annoyed me for some reason. It got more frequent too?

.
I went back into the wet room to make sure I hadn’t left anything dangerous on. The bucket and bowl of water sat there on the floor like they were for ‘Fire-Watch’ duties – Hahaha!
.
Checked the water tank I’d filled for the second time.
.

Still no Carer, so I set about cleaning the microwave and cooked casing. Despite Brenda and Anne’s persistence, I got into it!
Microwave in and outside, and cabinets done!.

The stove took me over an hour and a half to get cleaned up.

However, I had a bit of luck, if you can call it that. I found a hob crock pot in the storage underneath the cooker, Which, bearing in mind that I’d burnt two saucepans last week, it was washed and dried and looks okay to use.
I bet the metal handles will get hot?
Still, a .

I got onto the computer at long last, as Carer Sam arrived.
She was doing the second call and realised the first one had not made it to me. Hope they are not poorly or had an accident.
I advised her of my taking a Codeine earlier cause of the pain from . So she didn’t issue me one.
I mentioned the Virgin situation and asked her to see if Deana can help me with it, or knows someone who can. I nearly forgot to ask her to put some Phorpain Gel on my back. I only just remembered in time; she was just leaving after checking the taps and stove for me and picking up the waste bag.

Cloudy today, up to now.
I did some pareidoliaing with this one.
Can you spot anything?
Of course, I get help finding things from , and . Haha!

I went back onto the computer, working away, making mistakes, cursing myself and spotted blood coming from the left thumbnail. I was confused a first, but remembered cutting the fingernails yesterday. That’ll be why.

Seconds late, found a newish mark on the right knuckle?
I assume this was done while cleaning in the narrow space twixt the floor cupboards and the cooker.

I’d better get some vegetables ready to add to the veg casserole or whatever it’s called I intend to eat for my tea.

Back in a bit… I hope!

Late Friday AM: Catch-Up
Dark but Bootiful clouds.

Meal prepped and served up…
It filled the big dish.
The leftover borscht was added to a ready-made vegetable Stock-Pot…, no Hot Pot meal. Extra seasoning; Winiary Przyprawa and liquid salt, with a splash of BBQ sauce.
Put some frozen potato chunks, sprayed them with olive oil in the oven, and cooked them well.
Flavour-Rating: 7.2/10.

Took this shot as I was washing up the pots etc.

Got into the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, nauseously beige-coloured, not-working, rusty, rickety, crumb-holder of a tatty recliner, and put the TV on to watch ‘Heartbeat’.
The blueness of the outside came through the thin, torn, tatty curtains. I got the camera and investigate…
An unnatural shade tonight.
Bootiful all the same!

Zzz!
Eventually!
Thought Storms Again!

DOREEN DEMENTIA RULES!

It can only get worse – and my rate of losing it seems to be increasing. After having the stroke, the Stroke Wards in the hospital were desperate for beds. They sent me to a ‘Care Home’ for a  month. The long-term patients were all suffering from different types of the same ailment; Dementia.
Alzheimer’s disease, Vascular dementia, and Alcohol-related dementia. Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy dementia. I felt so bad for them but was uncomfortable being there. Now, I believe it will not be too long before I rejoin them.
No doubt about it, my grip on things is, thankfully, slowly getting worse.
I’ve developed a fear of officialdom in the form of letters.
With cataracts, saccades and glaucoma, the hearing gets worse. Peripheral Neuropathy gifted loss of balance; causing falls, tumbles and walking into things… like walls and doors, missing steps, and the newest thing;  The Neurotransmitters are not getting messages to the brain! It does its best, I’m sure. But more regularly now, I cannot pick something up, and sometimes cannot let go of it! I’m hoping the Doctors at the surgery, Highbury Hospital, or some Social Worker may read this.  The trouble is, at this moment, I am aware of these issues, but on the rare occasion I see a specialist, there is nothing there. On my last visit to the Memory Nurse, I could not recall the name, or if it was a road or street, or the man’s name. She gave me an option of three given names, such was it an avenue, street or road? Mr Schmitt, Albright or Woodcock… obviously, I’d made up the questions asked, as an example.
My GP got a letter telling her my memory was the same as two months earlier. Which it wasn’t; in March, I answered them all, without prompting and help. Last time, even the ‘pick one of three’ was just a potluck.
I’m leaving taps on more often too. I’ve burnt three saucepans to death this month. Taken tumbles getting dressed, and I was only wearing protective pants and a dressing gown! Remembering all this is amazing!
I was supposed to have three brain scans, I think, a month apart – then they can read any changes – but this has to be done before they can identify the type of dementia I have and treat me with whatever to slow it down. I’ve had one. As I recall, I got lost trying to get out of the building. I can sense at this precise moment, I just had a few minutes of nothing; I call a Memory Blank, struggling now. I’ll try to get back later.
I’d be in a pickle without the Carers attending. It also helps me tremendously if we get time for a laugh and a little natter.
Sorry that I wrote this now. After reading it  I sound like a right old whiner! I do think I’m a different person when the Dracula Depressions visit me. I decided to leave it on, if only as a warning to others, of how things can change so much. Yet, still, moments of the old self come through occasionally – and that is wonderful!

TTFN.

The feet were s lot better looking this morning.
The legs were a little lumpy in places.

Ablutions sorted. But doing the teeth, and spitting out
the toothpaste was a bloody job. Hehe!

Undoubtedly foggy out there this morning.

Spuds in the crock-pot.

Peas in the saucepan.

Sat at the computer desk.
Photo’d the Fog through
the balcony windows.

A new Olive-Oil dropper filled, for the
twice-daily earhole oilings.

A rare mug of Glengettie tea on the
computer desk. As usual, I forgot
about it, and it went cold. Tsk!

Rahmat arrived, and medications were issued.
First visit. The usual agony of carrying buckets of water to refill the non-working W.C. bowl. (Three calls to the Throne today, not so messy, but just as painful.
Annoying , and the pain started!

I set to creating some needed templates for this blog. I seemed to be doing a little better with the typing today, nowhere near as many missed keys…although my foments of bemusedness were relentless, my rate of work achieved was doing reasonably well – as were my mind-blanks, which delayed me a little. But it didn’t matter. For Liberty-Global Virgin Media boss Mr Fries helped…

Their Average Rating went down to 1.1 since I made this graphic last year!

Did some food prepping, another trip to the .
And returned to doing the blank templates, after Liberty-Global Virgin Media, who are now dearer than any other supplier, granted me a service again.

I thawed out some of Asda’s pre-crushed finger rolls.

I had several of these, which put the mocker on blogging.
Then…

.

Broke my heart, with my doing so well earlier. I gave up altogether. Turned off the computer, got the nosh finished and served up

It didn’t go down too well.
But that is likely to be because of the smoke & mirrors Liberty-Global Virgin Media’s letdowns getting to me!
Taste Rating 3.5/10.

Carer arrived and listened to my chuntering about…
.

I got the pen and pad out, and tried to do some odeing for tomorrow’s blog… Zzz!

The later Carer woke me up, and a painkiller was given.

I tried to get back to sleep, but it was no good, so I got up and took a photo of the sky.

Back in the c1966. charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner.

I continued frequently getting to the point of nodding off, and every time the danged let loose!

Depressed and annoyed, I got up when I saw the colouring through the curtains had gotten browner. Grabbed the camera and went into the kitchen to see if it was worth picturing… I thought it was lovely!

Waiting for the sun to drop, I hung up the dressing gowns returned from the laundry. Checked the taps and cooker were not left on.
And back to take this shot.

.
Bootiful!

Not sure when I did get sleep, but it took a few hours, I think. I can recall getting up to check if I’d locked the door or not, spotting the clock that indicated 02:30hrs.

Adieu – All the bestest to You!

Started the day today…
In a totally different way… Well, not really, it was still farcical, but it started later than usual – for an excellent reason!
I’d had a great late sleep of about six hours of bliss. Not waking up until nearly 07:00hrs! brought me back to imitation life as the door chime chimed! I fumbled my way out of the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, sickeningly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner, to unlock the front door for the Carer. It was the new gal .

Sobia got the medications sorted out as I was showing her the lack of wee-wee in the night bag.

She and I were astounded to see the tiny amount of urine in pouch. Less than 100, whatever they are, milligrams? Took the medications, and as I set about taking the night bag off… it was half full!?!?
My immediate thought was that I had done something wrong.
Said after we forced the urine into the night bag, there were over 250 whatever we’re in now. I believe I must have trapped or blocked the tubing in my long sleep. But I’ll never know. In the flapping about, I nearly forgot to take the morning’s breakfast medications. Hehe!
Just look at the gnarled fingers on my hand. I was such a beautiful baby as well!
Off to the wet room to utilise the ..

Much to the displeasure and annoyance of
Who wasted no time in setting about issuing her agony aches when I started lifting the bowls of water that were needed to refill the non-working W.C. water tank.
No sweat to me, of course. I laugh in the faces of the ailments. .
Ahem!
Dried off, cursed a little, took another painkiller, passed wind involuntarily, and got the kettle on. It was still misty out there. I went to get the milk out of the fridge and dropped it.
I’ll say no more!.
When I’d recovered from the dropped milk bottle hitting my foot and toe, I took this photographicalisationing of the house being done up near the bottom field. There were no signs of any activity. But my poor was throbbing somewhat. Huh!

The mist was clearing at last.
Not that it ever went away all day.
I managed to knock the poor sodding toe again while closing the window under the heater radiator. I did laugh!

I got some potatoes in the crock pot ready to go in the oven later.
Well, that was the plan. But, of course, I still had to get yesterday’s blog completed.
I started with hope in my heart… Forgetting about Liberty-Global!.

I could have cried, swore, gotten depressed, angry, annoyed and groaned. Well, I did, all of them!
The thought that Mr Fries of Liberty-Global. getting £28 million, a guaranteed bonus, and an open expense account… gauled me!  Jealousy, of course.
I turned everything of and unplugged the oligarch’s box, and went to open a can of artichokes, for later.
Got back to reset the system, and wallah! Fries crap service was back on again. Hurrah!

I lost a lot of time trying to remember what it was and where I was with the blogging. Some stuff had been saved,  others not… Bet Fries is enjoying this!
I’d just about got the CorelDraw sorted and…I stopped my blubbering, cursing, loathing and spitting, and the hostility, hatred, loathing, disappointment, chagrin, and vexation, with feeling infuriated, irritated, nettled, peeved and splenetic: inspired a reaction from deep within my limited anger box!
And when Fries’ farce of an internet service returned again, I wrote my piece for TrustPilot, and posted it first thing!

No answer from them yet. Not that I expect, or want one

The answers they have given to other suckers, sorry, I meant customers, posting their one vote because there is no option for a nil vote; Offering you a link via video, or to sites that use language that I fail to understand, and can’t see or hear anyway.
Not that I blame the staff at all. They must be leaving in droves?.

Ah, well, I’ll get the nosh sorted now.

Sunday Morning; Up at 0:400hrs, Ablutions, two throne visits, which left in a vicious cruel mood, with all the hauling water from the kitchen to the wet room so many times.
Back to update:

I got the potatoes out of the oven. Just the one burnt finger, well, knuckle on the finger.
They smelt good and looked good.

But didn’t taste very good!
I dropped the tray taking it to plate the spuds!
Bending down to retrieve and clean them, started of on her mission to cause as much pain as is possible to me. Arrgh!
Got the fodder on the plate and tray. The wholemeal bread stick was undercooked and a little mealy, and gooey. The peas were nice.
, or was it, possibly arrived as was about to take the fodder into the front room to eat it. He took it through for me; actually, bless him.
Got the medications issued. We had a little natter and off on his rounds. Not getting the meal hot was of no consequence this time, cause it was horrible anyway. (Not the peas, they were okay!)
Flavour-Rating: 2.5/10.
A brown colouration in the sky as I took the plate tray and things to be washed.
The sun got through on its way down. I must stay awake to take the end bit of the sunset, the clouds were higher than usual, and I hoped to get some decent shots of it for once.

Washed and settled into the second-hand, £300, c1968, overwhelmingly-sickening beige coloured, tatty, uncomfortable, wobbly, germ producing, falling to pieces, food residue collecting recliner. The only thing worth watching on the TV was a documentary on the Falklands War – The untold story of how close we came to failure.
Changed the channel to it, watched it for about two minutes, and drifted off to sleep.
Woken up by the late Carer calling. Can’t recall much of this visit at all… nothing new here; The were ever-present. I’ve got to get used to this. Somehow, it’s driving me mad!

After the departure of the Carer, I checked the taps and stove to make sure nothing had been left on and saw the amazing sunset.

Well, maybe not amazing, but it was nice to see one after so many nights without one.

I loved the brown tinge in the sky.
An atmospheric brown cloud is a layer of air pollution containing aerosols such as soot or dust that absorb as well as scatter incoming solar radiation, leading to regional and global climatic effects and posing risks to human health and food security. This layer extends from Earth’s surface to an altitude of roughly 3 km (1.8 miles).
The presence of so-called brown clouds of pollution over urban areas has been of concern for decades.

See how knowledgeable I am?
What? Me? Looked it up on the Britannica website? No, no, no… Here is the link: Britannica Brown Clouds.

Head down again, but the earlier ease of drifting off had departed. The rampaged through my brain, with the wicked assailant and brain invader , seemingly mixing up the usual bunch of fears, sorrows, worries, regrets, failures, disappointments, quandaries, anxieties and degradations.

When, hours later, I burst awake with a force of great magnitude – I clouted my elbow as I twitched about, a knocked over a bottle of tonic water, which landed on my . Then spent two Thought-Storm-free hours, but waking every few minutes with the regulation pullulating jolting jerks. I gave up and got up…
