Inchcock Today – Wed 14th June 2017: Grenfell Flats Disaster haunts me

Grenfell disaster. So sad making

Wednesday 14th June 2017

Nepali: बुधवार 14 जुन 2017

0400hrs: Stirred from a dream filled night (Of which I can remember nowt!) throughout which I was ever waking up and trotting off for a wee-wee. I think I suffered this the last time I had to have the Enoxaparin injections?

Gave up trying to get back to sleep, and decided to get the washing done in the laundry room before the District Nurse arrived. No idea when she will come. Had a wee-wee.

Took the washing down and got it in the machine and came back up to the apartment.

Took the medications and made a brew and it was time to go down to move the clothes into the dryer. Got a phone call from Sister Jane. She told me to put the TV on to see the horrible fire in the flats in London and asked how I was feeling this morning. Nice of her. Had a wee-wee.

Down to the laundry room and got the dryer working, then back up again and got the TV on. Terrible news, and from what I listened to from the tenants who had escaped the conflagration, they had been told the same as us here about what to do in the event of a fire, those that did follow the advice must surely have perished. No fire alarms sounded they say?

The computer on and did some Facebooking and WordPress reading.

Had a wee-wee and down to collect the washing.

Cleaned the filters, washer and dryer and back up again to the flat.

Worked on updating the diaries while watching the news of the disaster on the gogglebox. Couldn’t use the headphones or I would not hear if the nurse arrived and buzzed the intercom line.

Very depressed with the news. It had filtered through of how brave the emergency services were.

The nurse arrived, a cuddly little thing, asked many questions and injected the tummy. She was here about an hour or so. Said someone would call again tonight around 1700hrs, Bless her.

Had a go at doing some graphics to take my mind off of the poor souls that were living in the flats fire.

The Morrison delivery arrived, and when I moved to go to the door, some severe pains from the innards appeared.

At least I know I have someone to tell the tale too, or will have when the District Nurse comes tonight.

Put the fodder away and cleared the waste bags out to the chute.

Not so good at all, now, even Dizzy Dennis paid me a visit. Humph!

Signed off on Facebook, no way I can concentrate on that or graphicationalising how I feel now. Befuddled, Hehe!

Got the pod peas simmering in the pan. Not having anything else heated today, I might leave the meal when the peas are done until after the medicationalistical (Hehe) visitation later.

Updated this to here, and got the ablutioning tended to.

Got the early meal sorted. Not that is was difficult with no hot fodder involved.

Took the medications and gobbled the food down.

Off for a wee-wee.

Settled to watch the TV with subtitles on, so as not to block the hearing with the headphones in case I don’t hear the District Nurse arrive. I could not read the subtitles though, they were too small, so I put the news channel on about the fire in London.

Fell asleep, woke to need a wee-wee, tended to this, made a mug of tea and as I was doing so, felt sure I could hear noises, but where from? It took me a while to realise it was coming in through the open window, I went out on the balcony and found it was some residents from a flat a floor above mine. Got the hearing aids in and realised they were slightly intoxicated, bless them.

They were out in the warmish sun, legs over the balcony railings, a selection of drinks to hand and shouting in ‘Gibberish’, I think it was.

Hehehe!

Got down in the second-hand £300 recliner, and despite the twinges, stabs and unrelenting pains now suffering, I fell asleep again. It was well past my bedtime now, and still, the nurse had not arrived. The nurse earlier said they would be here at 1700hrs, but it is now 1900hrs. Had I missed her when I fell asleep?

Up for another wee-wee and noticed how beautiful the evening clouds looked with the addition of the aircraft exhausts. The almost ghost-like bit, centre left confused me? Haha!

Popped out on the balcony to take this shot, so the unique mystery addition was not reflections from any glass?

Fell asleep again, and just after 2100hrs the intercom burst into life, the nurse had arrived. Cuddly little thing she was. Soon had me sorted with the injections and I bid her farewell and got my head down. But the brain and new pains from the stomach ensured I did not nod-off for hours.

Hey-ho, so much better off than the poor souls affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster!

This is the latest photograph of the complex. 12 dead, still unable to search for bodies 24 hours after the fire started. Dozens  injured, many critical.

So, I do not have the right, intention or inclination to moan about things.

My heart goes out to them.

TTFN.

Inchcock – Monday 12th June 2017: Hospital DVT test, Doctors INR Blood Test, Warfarin Panic… Now I have to do it all again… Tsk! You’ve got to laugh!

Monday 12th June 2017

 מאנטאג יוני 12, 2 Yiddish

0415hrs: I woke up in a confused state, a cracking headache. Rubbish, crumbs, wrappers, pen & pad, mobile phone, remote controls, the empty biscuit box, a woolly hat, TV magazine, the Clarkson On Cars book and last night untaken evening medication pot around the floor (Humph!), the £300 second-hand recliner and me! Felt confused, tired and listless. The eyelids felt so heavy as well.

The notepad I keep handy to forget to take notes of any dreams on had some scribble on it, but it might have been hieroglyphics because I could decipher nothing of it. Tsk!

Pondered on what the day boded. Must remember the INR blood test at 1007hrs (What an odd time to give me?). I’d like to get a good walk into town done, take some photographs perhaps.

Off to the Porcelain Throne, only the slightest amount of bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harold, feeling light-headed? Dizzy Dennis and Roger Reflux both started off at the same time. At least Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis were being gentle with me.

Made a brew and it tasted horrible – now I know something is wrong with me. Haha!

Did the Health Checks. Then printed off last weeks to take to the nurse later.

Took the morning medications and back in the wetroom for a wee-wee again.

Computer started and finished off and posted the Sunday diary and started this one off.

Put the nibbles in the bag for the nurses and the Anticoagulation Record Card too.

Checked the Emails and did some WordPressing for a few hours.

Got the ablutions done. An extra long session this morning. Cleaning the teggies and caused a bit of bleeding, but pleased with how quickly it stopped considering.

Got three bin bags filled and tied, one of recyclable stuff and took them to the refuse chute. Put four jars and one bottle in the bag to drop off at the recycling bin on Chestnut Walk.

Back to the flat and checked I had everything needed in the bag. Corroborated that the lights, heaters, cooker, taps and windows were okay and that I had the bus-pass, camera and mobile phone. Set off to the surgery.

Not a soul in sight on the way down to and in the foyer. Some workmen were hard at it outside as I walked straight passed the recycling bins (Tsk!) to the end of Chestnut Walk.

Spotted these beautiful bush flowers on the side of the road. This, cheered me up a lot, with the getting out for a hobble as well.

Down Winchester Street Hill in the sunshine and got the camera out of the bag and into my pocket so I could take photographs of the abandoned retail units from Winchester Street to the library.

Not a long distance as you can see from the map here!

So sad, all those folks gone bankrupt, broke or forced to sell-up.

Here are the actual photographicalisations that I took of the rather sad looking so-called retail shopping area of Sherwood, over a five-minute hobble along Mansfield Road.

Oh, dear, I’ve made a Whoopsiedangleplop here, sorry. The bottom left one I took from the bus on the way back from Arnold. Fancy me, making a mistake… Ahem!

Pressed on up the hill and down to the surgery in Carrington. Arriving with 30 minutes to spare the lady told me as I logged in with the receptionist. Sat down, about to get the crossword book out and got called in to see the nurse! No messing about this morning!

She got the blood taken straight away and reminded me about the DVT appointment I had for two hours later. Kind of her, that was. Chinwagged while she did me. Gave her some nibbles, thanked her and departed and limped down to the chemists to ask for advice on my medications, feeling rather proud of remembering to do this. He was not in. Humph!

So, out, down the road and waited for City Hospital bus. I said earlier, no messing about today, didn’t I? Well, it proved this point again when I arrived at the DVT department. As I was there an hour earlier than the appointment time, and they had me in the treatment room within five minutes of my signing in!

Not the foggiest idea what they did. As the Nurse who spoke to me, had an accent and quiet voice and I could not read her lips. Two people came into the cubicle, one smiled and stuck a needle in my throat and arm. That was it I was gone in seconds into a semi-sleepy state. No hassle no pain, just felt them bringing me round later and putting me on a trolly for a few minute and giving me a cup of tea. All done! The chest and throat area was only a bit sore, and that cleared up with ten minutes.

The doctor arrived and told me the test looked visually alright to him, things were no different or worse than last time, and they would contact me after the analysis was complete. I felt great and asked a nurse if I could go now. “If you’re sure you feel up to it, why not Mr Chambers” In a lovely rich Irish accent. So off I wented! Hehe!

Out and up the hill, across the road to the bus stop, the bus arrived in seconds, and within half-an-hour, I was catching a 58 bus in town and on my way to Arnold.

I’ve said it before, but; ‘No Messing About Today!’

Dropped off near the Asda store and popped in get some Irish Batch bread, and came out with the aforesaid loaf… plus: New potatoes, fresh pod peas, mini pickle pork pies, flatbread, Walkers Marmite crisps (three packs of six little packets for £3 – Tsk!), Raffle prizes for the tenants hour, lemon and orange yoghourts, Irish potato farls, butter and £17 quid lighter! Plonker! Then hobbled, (the feet were bad now) in to visit the clothing department to see if they had any of the loose fitting undies in stock. Could not find any and asked an assistant, who informed me they no longer sell them. Marvellous, I thought!

On my way out, I noticed they had ladies bras on sale for two whole aisles!

Even a choice of over fifty different types of, what they labelled ‘T-Shirt Bras” with about 100 of them on the shelves!

Not fair that!

Sexism it is! Hehehe!

Had a hobble over the road to the Fulton Food Store to see if they had any of those lemon curd cones in again. But no. I did get some citrus lollies, though.

Paid the Oberfruppenfurher on the till and out and made my way to the bus stop on High Street behind the no long longer stocking men’s undies – but selling hundred of ladies bras and panties – Asda (Walmart) Hyperstore. Hahaha!

At the bus stop, I spotted this amazing little wildflower forcing its way through the tarmac somehow into life? How do they do this?

Got the bus back eventually, taking the photo mentioned earlier en route.

As we went through Sherwood on Mansfield Road, I took a picture of possibly the best smelling of all the shops.

Back at the flats and had a wee-wee. Put the kettle on and took the midday medications and did the Health Checks.

All right methinks.

Put the purchases on the counter and then stored them away.

After pondering on what to have for fodder later, it will have to be a late one, because I had to sort out the pictures from the camera and update this diary first.

I decided on the last two small portions minced lamb stew with some of the Irish batch bread! Podded a few peas and got them on the boil, well, simmering.

Tried to catch up with the Facebooking while the lamb hotpot cooked. Didn’t get much done, Huh!

The din-din time now.

Gorgeous!

Washed the pots.

Feeling a bit drained now, so settled down to watch some Law & Order on the Gogglebox, feet up.

Haha!

Really into the TV and the landline chirped into life.

Stubbed my toe getting out of the £300 second-hand recliner as quickly as I could to get to the phone.

It was the DVT Centre from the 4th floor at the QMC.

It appears that my Warfarin INR blood level is now below 1.4 – What? So that is Monday 6.1 Wednesday 4.2 Friday 4.1 and now Monday 1.4?

I have to go into the QMC Hospital in the morning for Two Enoxaparin injections and another blood test, and have to arrange for another DVT Test as today’s earlier checks would be unreliable due the INR level being so high. (Apparently, the district nurse visits to homes to give injections has been cut back as part of the cost saving exercises).

I have to take 4 Warfarin tonight. So, at least there is far less chance of me bleeding to death, but a real possibility of a blood clot or Heart Attack. I can’t win can I? Hehe!

So I took the evening medications making sure I had the four tablets. Did the Health Checks.

Got the Computer on to update this and put things into the calendar. Printed a reminder and left it on the TV screen for the morning.

Got my head down again, and watched some TV proggies, without any nodding off for ages?

No dizzies tonight.

Up to visit the Porcelain Throne, all good. Even Haemorrhoid Harold wasn’t bleeding at all, in the slightest, whatsoever.

The first time for weeks!

Long time getting off again.

TTFN each.

Saturday 10th June 2017 – Had an intended idle day. So there! Hehe!

Saturday 10th June 2017

Latvian: 2017 Sestdiena 10 jūnijs

0330hrs: Stirred, lay there doing my best to recall details of the dream I’d been having; something about me being chased in a skyscraper full of office corridors? Haven’t had one like this for ages, but, any real memories were too vague.

Fell off to sleep again (another uniqueness for me, nodding off again).

0530hrs: Came back to life, of sorts with a jolt. Found rubbish all around the £300 second-hand recliner again. I’d been nibbling, that was obvious by the crumbs and wrappers generously scattered around on the carpet, the chair and me. I can’t remember eating at all, let alone fetching the biscuits to eat?

Off for a wee-wee and heavy duty session. Little Inchy was raw and sore, but no bleeding again. Haemorrhoid Harold only bled the tiniest bit. I could tell Duodenal Donald was building up for an attack. However, Reflux Roger, Arthur Itis and Anne Gyna were in a good mood – and, no signs of Constipation Konrad either. So no complaints there.

To the kitchen, where I rinsed out the mucked-up oven mitt things from the bowl where I’d left them to soak. Drying them was a problem, how to? I put the clothes airer on and balanced them on top.

Did the health Checks: Sys 145, Dia 79, Pulse 88, Temp 35.6 and the weight was 14.8lb

Mephitic emissions of the wind from the rear arrived unexpectedly. The aroma seemed to linger all day. Tsk!

Computer activated. Checked on which programme if any the Scotland v England match would be on. I was delighted when I found out it was on ITV tonight. A  hard game for me in some ways to watch. I have a great liking for the Welsh and Scottish teams. The likes of Andy Lochhead (My favourite, a great old fashioned centre forward), such a shame he was not selected for the Scottish Squad, he did get just one under-23 match in.

But his going South of the Border made him a de trop to the selectors, I’m much afraid.

Ian Ure and Dennis Law were both great defenders, too. Jim Baxter was fantastic in his hey-day. So, I’ll be unhappy whichever way the match goes… unless it is a draw? Haha!
Others that come immediately to mind: Welsh: Terry Hennessey, Ronnie Rees, Dean Saunders. Scottish: Kenny Burns, Peter Cormack, Archie Gemmill, Frank Gray, John Robertson, Kenny Dalglish, Tommy Dockerty, etc. Ah, good times!

Nipped into the kitchen to pod the peas and get them cooking in the Crock-Pot. I also put some Jersey potatoes in the saucepan to boil.

Hence the advice on the left here.

Another wee-wee and back on the computer.

Updated this diary. Then caught up with WordPress reading.

Checked on the cooking and saw that I had not turned on the power to the cooker. Ah-well, done now!

Onto Facebooking then. Spent hours on it enjoying myself.

Went to check on the fodder’s progress.

You recall how I forgot to turn on the power to the cooker earlier to do the spuds? Well, I didn’t turn on the oven when I put the lamb nosh into it either! Gerrin’ fed up with missen today!

Cooking now, though.

Scoffed the lot of it, a yoghourt, some bisuits and some nougat too!

Back onto CorelDraw 2017, but coud not concentrate very well. Perhaps the expectations of the upcoming Interernational twixt Scotland and England later?

Nodded off and dreamt of Sister Jane and me living together with our beloved Auntie Kath, I was the butler and we were all so happy doing things we never did before together.

Woke, took the medications, did the Health Checks and visited the Porcelain Throne and settled to watch the match on the gogglebox. The abutions can wait now, ’cause the match is due to start.

The match itself was wonderful to watch, with the most exciting last twenty minutes I’ve watched of a match since the 1966 World Cup Final.

But the aftermath saddened me so.

It happens that the authorities had sent some Metropolitan Police officers to Glasgow in case of terrorist activity, so it seems, up to now to me, that they coped with the vandals and yobboes reasonably well. Took the edge off of my enjoyment, to think about this return of mindless hooliganism and hatred.

The so called fans were even rioting when on holiday in Magaluf!

Did the ablutions with mixed emotions, happiness at seeing a great match and agreeing with the score for once, loathing and not understanding of the rioters, satisfaction at the good tasty meal… cut myself shaving due to lack of attention. It took a lot of stopping, had to resort to the aftershave, need a new bottle now. Hehe!

Shaved, teggies done, ear-holes cleared, Little Inchy medicated and showered, I got the nightweat on. (Well, it was nippy tonight).

Head down in the £300 second-hand recliner. (It’s lasting well for a cheapo bargain is this chair) But, I could not get to sleep thinking alternatively about the great match, the fighting hooligans and the newly attacking Duodenal Donald. I don’t know if it is the fodder or the vandals that started him off, but by gum, he’s back with a vengeance. Took an extra 40mg Omeprazole.

I’ve been on this medication along with so many others for about 13 years now, looked it up to see if any alternative is available on the NHS. Got side tracked with this page on the left here: Methinks I might have a word with the pharmacist or doctor on my next visit.

I Googled for any Omeprazole alternatives. It seems that almonds and almond milk after eating has helped some people get off of this drug. Thaty should it says, only be taken for short periods; And my doctor has had me on it for 13 years plus?

Another suggestion was deglycyrrhizinated licorice, DGL? Never heard of it, but this is more for Roger Reflux than the ulcer. Then they suggest Apple Cider Vinegar, but it must be organic. Each time I ask about Omeprazole, it relates again to the reflux valve and not the duodenal ulcer, so I put in the search; Duodenal Ulcer Medications UK. Andthere it was, but only as an antacid. Confused now. Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Thursday 8th June 2017: Chinwags, blood tests, Constipation Konrad retreats, election time, bought unwanted fodder and eating rather a lot today?

Thursday 8th June 2017

Kazakh: Бейсенбі 8 маусым 2017

0400hrs: Woke, no memories of any dreams, the stomach rumbled, and I got put off the £300 second-hand recliner with high hope of achieving a passing on the Porcelain Throne, so off I hobbled to it, taking care not to stub the toe en route, or on the way back.

Still a painful, but successful visit, if another rather long one in urging things to happen.  Haemorrhoid Harold bled a lot less than of late. Cleansed and medicated me up. Hehe!

Duodenal Donald was letting me know he’d be about hassling me today.

Took the medications and carried out the Health Checks. The weight had gone down a bit, not before time.

Made a brew of tea, and looked at the Google Calendar. Morrison delivery is coming twixt 0700>0800hrs, Vote in Elections and Extra INR blood test at the surgery 0950hrs.

I mused over the Voting and considered which of the unreliable lying nihilists to vote for this time… not that I really had to ponder over my choice. Just a hatred of having choices of which none met my criteria of being votable… Huh! Working family roots will prevail methinks.

Got the ablutions done.

Got the nibbles in the bag for the electoral staff and nurses.

Shelled the pod peas and into the Crock-Pot in water and a bit of demerara sugar.

Opened the Emails and did some WordPress reading.

All ready for the Morrison delivery to arrive.

The rain seemed to be easing when I made another mug of tea.

Made sure that the things needed were in the bag: nibbles, brolly, hat, collapsable walking stick, DVT Card and Health Check Record for the nurse and the crossword book.

Got the last bag of the Purple Chips that I bought for Jenny and Frank to try, then rang Jenny to see if she would be in this morning. She said she would, so I went up to the fifteenth floor with the chips and a free small can of lager delivered by Morrison, but I did not recognise the outside of the flat?

Came down to my own pad to see if I could find the number of Jenny’s and Franks flat on some paperwork (Also put in the hearing aids I’d forgotten to earlier). Picked up the bag and Voting Card and nibbles. Then I set off to check each floor. On the ninth floor, a chap got into the lift and pressed for the ground floor. I asked him if he knew which was Jenny’s flat and he lived next door to them on the ninth floor.

Back up to the ninth and dropped off the things at the proper unit. I did feel such a fool! Tsk!

When I got down to the foyer, and outside, the rain had stopped altogether. Walked to the Voting Shed, and found different people there today and they had laid things out differently: Without thinking, I said to them as I entered: “Oy! You’ve changed things around this time! I’m not having this; we aged old farts can get confused, muddled and addled very quickly, you know! They burst out laughing and smiles appeared on their faces. Gave them my election card and one of them said: “There you are, five booths to pick from, all free, Make your choice Sir!” I rubbed my chin exaggeratedly and put on a frown saying: “Er, erm…” More laughter rang out. I voted and posted the sheet in the box and gave them a bag of nibbles!

Said my cheery cheerio’s and out and off down Chestnut Walk onto and down Winchester Street Hill.

The high winds had caused more havoc nd damage again last night. Debris scattered all over the roadway.

Down to the bottom of the hill and noticed as I approached the traffic light corner to turn left, that I had not taken the bank papers with me.

So I didn’t call at the bank. Humph!

I still had plenty of time to hobble up Mansfield Road and down into Carrington with time to spare.

So I had a leisurely amble.

At the corner of Haydn Road, I espied some traffic and altercation that was taking place near the school gates.

Probably just busy.

I pressed on up the hill, and by the time I’d covered about 300 yards or so, six police vehicles with klaxons and the blues on passed on the journey toward the City Centre?

Just over the brow of the hill, a Nottingham Pavement Cyclist nearly had me over. Tsk!

A few hundred yards further down the hill and in Carrington; So many police cars belted by I could not count them!

I did manage to get the camera out and caught the blue lights of the last one on the convoy

as they had to use the opposite side of the road to get through the traffic.

Got into the surgery with 20 minutes to spare. Logged in and got seated with the crossword book extracted from the bag and pen in hand.

After only five minutes the nurse came and called it to go in.

It was not the usual nurse this time, but the Obergrupenfurheress one. SFA Time! Shudder, Fear & Apprehension! Hehe!

She took the blood, I gave her the nibbles and returned to the receptionist. I explained that the Anticoagulation card I am supposed to carry with all the time is getting a little tatty and the lettering is coming off of it. Could you advise me where to get another one from, please? “The Queens Medical Anticoagulation and Deep Vein Thrombosis Clinic on the fourth floor” she informed me. Thanked her, departed and limped to the Lidl Store to have a perusal of what they had on offer.

I got little carried away in there, I’m afraid. Got three raffle prize nibbles, Nougat sweeties, piccolo tomatoes, Lemon Curd Yoghourts, Frikadellens, Choc Hobnob Creams and a lamb hotpot. £11.47 spent. Boldy (And as it turned out foolishly) I tried to use the self-serve till again, being as I had no end of lose change. Got the stuff swiped in alright, but when it came to paying, it took the £10 note but kept spewing out the change I put in! Sometimes holding a coin and the total to pay kept changing! After trying about eight times, I had to ask an assistant or help. When I told her what was occurring, the look on her face shouted out at me: “Oh, Christ, not again!”

We tried again between us, several times and in the end, she got it to accept the coins after I had to change the ones I was putting in!

Out, in a foul mood and caught the bus back into Sherwood. Still, the rain kept off!

Dropped off in Sherwood and got a second-hand cup from the Charity shop.

Then and crossed over the pelican lights and to the bus stop. Three other tenants there waiting, and a good laugh and chinwag ensued. Two more joined us. The bus came, and we were soon back at the flats battling the wind to get inside them. Haha!

Squashed into the lift and we were still laughing and joking, I like it when this happens.

In number 72 and had a wee-wee first. Ten put the fodder away after selecting the lamb hotpot and some potato balls and putting them into an oven tray to cook later. The Crock-Pot was bubbling away with the Jersey potatoes, pod peas and mushrooms.

The computer on to update this diary up to here.

Used the new cup and made a gorgeous, strong cup/mug of tea, using the last of the 99 tea bags.

Must get some more tomorrow!

Checked the nosh, not ready yet.

Looked later and it seemed to be ready, got the oven food into the dish, made and added some gravy, then the mushroom, peas and potatoes.

Superb tasting fodder this was. Rated at 9/10. Minced lamb hotpot with extra potatoes of two types. Sourdough bread and a lemon yoghourt.

Watched some TV and the phone rang before I could fall asleep (Hehe!) but I could not get to it in time before the damned thing went to answerphone. Struggled to find out how to listen to it. Eventually getting into it, and putting the hearing aids in and the message I heard was; “Nothing to be heard!”? Methinks it night have been the surgery, DVT clinic or the Anticoagulation Unit about the INR Warfarin blood test results?

Took the evening medications, unsure of what Warfarin tablets to take, not knowing the results like, I took half the dose, no idea if I’ve done right or wrong.

Watched some telly in between nod-offs. Woke with a start and a raging hunger?

Which I found confusing bearing in mind the decent sized meal I’d had a while ago. Raided the fridge and made a brew, then nibbled away as I fell asleep again watching the TV.

After a long nod-off, I changed channels to the election results… and had a few kips in between watching them.

Into the morning now, I checked on the final results locally:

To the Porcelain Throne, with good results, I think that Constipation Konrad is leaving me now. Hopefully, the ‘Trotskies‘ will not replace Konrad! Even Haemorrhoid Harold was only bleeding the tiniest bit.

Nodded off…

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 6th June 2017: Cor blimey… INR level (Target 3.5) now at 9.1 – Scared to shave now! Hehe!

Tuesday 6th June 2017

Japanese: 2017年6月6日火曜日

Stirred, still feeling a bit tired around 0425hrs. Again, no memories of any dreams, just a feeling that I had, had some?

Off for a wee-wee.

Took the medications and luckily spotted I had put the evening doses (The midday ones were okay) in the morning doses pots the other day in error.  So I set about changing them.

It had apparently been raining most of the night.

Still drizzling a bit. I’ll have to get the big coat on or remember to take the brolly with me when I go to the surgery for the INR blood test. Cause it is a 38-minute walk to get there.

To the Porcelain Throne to tend to an imminent motion. Not so bad this morning… not easy or painless mind, but improving methinks. I hope.

Got the nibble in the bag for the nurses, then got the computer on. Checked the Emails first.

One from Iceland telling of some red potato chips they are selling. I found the idea appetising. Never heard of Bergerac Potatoes, I might go on to Bulwell after the doctors and see if I can get some to try?

Carried out the Health Checks next. The weight had shot up a bit, but all else looked okay to me:

Sys 151, Dia 76, Pul 91, T 35.8 & Weight 14.82.

Another wee-wee.

Started to update the diaries then began this one. Did some WordPressing. Off for another wee-wee. (Getting worrying all this wee-weeing? Hehe!)

Yet another wee-wee.

I decided that if I am to get some of those Purple Chips later, will get some pod peas podded and into the slow-cooker with some demerara sugar in them, and if I’ll remember. I can turn them on when I leave. Good idea?

Unbelievably, I had another wee-wee! Problems here perhaps? I’d better mention this to the nurse later.

Soon be time to do the ablutions, so a not to be late setting off on the hobble into Carrington for the blood test. A quick bash on Facebooking.

Updated some photo albums, then shot off (Well, hobbled) to the wetroom for the good in-depth ablutionisationing session and a wee-wee.

Got the new coat on and collected the bag and set out on the hobble to Carrington and the surgery.

As I passed the Chestnut Trees, the damage caused by the winds overnight and this morning were visible. Made me feel a bit sad.

Onward and down Winchester Street Hill into Sherwood and left up and over the long incline and down into Carrington. The rain didn’t stop at all, but it was far less severe than earlier, but the winds continued to be high and vigorous.

Logged in at surgery and sat having a go at the crossword book. Actually did rather well progress wise for a change. The nurse called me in. We had a chinwag while she took the blood, gave her her nibbles and was off. The nurse had a bit of a job stopping the bleeding afterwards.

Gave the reception team their bag of fodder to gnaw on as I left the building, out into the now heavier rain and winds.

I thought to myself, it would be advantageous to me if I went to the Arnold Iceland store instead of the one at Bulwell, then I could catch an L9 bus back all the way to the flats. Walked to the bus stop and caught a bus into Arnold. Got the crossword book out again. Looked up and realised I’d gotten onto the wrong bus. Humph! I had to drop off well away from where I intended to, and walk for about a mile up and down the hills, in the rain and wind back to Arnold.

Oh, I was annoyed with me! Tut!

The torrential rains now were stopping me using the camera with nowhere to shelter, until I got to the open market.

Purchased some fresh pod garden peas from here.

Checked on the time, and if was to catch the L9, haste was needed at the Iceland store in getting the Purple Chips. It took me a while to find the chip freezer, and I bought some mini pork & Pickle pies and a pack of two beef patties en route to finding the chips, of which I bought two packets.

To the checkout and paid using the Visa by swiping, as it was only a total spend of £5 exactly.

Hobbled as speedily as the now aching feet would allow me, and got to the bus stop with three minutes to spare!

As the bus arrived in Sherwood, two fellow tenants got on the bus.

Ethel and Roy, it was like a family meeting with much joviality and banter ricocheting between the three of us.

Quite cheered me up, that session did.

Back at the flats, all three of us struggled with the gusting winds from the bus to the foyer. Roy told me that the winds on his 14th floor were howling through to noisily this morning.

Got into the apartment, took a wee-wee, midday medications and got the oven warming up for the chips.

The computer on and updated this diary. An hour or so later put the chips into the oven and set the alarm for 15 minutes.

Had a wee-wee. A quick blast on Facebook, then got the meal served up.

Had to cook the chips for awhile longer, still soft.

Got the meal served up!

The purple chips looked really odd and out of place.

They did not have much taste to them. Sorry that I got two packs now. Tsk!

Had a rinse and a wee-wee and noticed one hell of a bruise on the top of the leg?

Fell asleep, woke up feeling frigid. Tried to make use of the Porcelain Throne, but only succeeded in getting things blocked again, and had a battle that needed patience and gave up after a long time trying.

Got the Gogglebox on and fell asleep again. Woke up needing a wee-wee, and the phone chirped-up. Out of the £300 second-hand recliner and answered it. T’was from the Thrombosis & Anticoagulation test centre, telling me my INR level was… wait for it bearing in mind the target is 3.5… now, 9.1! Argh! She said not to take any Warfarin tonight – which just goes to display my luck, I’d taken the Warfarin already! Warned me to take care shaving, of banging, cutting or scraping myself and if I did, I must contact the three 9’s for assistance.

Also, I must go to the doctor’s surgery and have another INR blood test on Thursday. I explained that I didn’t think they could fit me in at such short notice, and she said they will have to!

I got the computer back on and sent an Email to the surgery.

Time to take the greatest of efforts not to stub my toe for a few days and be weary and steady when shaving. Humph! No wonder I feel so cold now, with the blood being so thin. Thinking of whether I should go out for tomorrow’s Tenant’s meal or not?

Tried again to make use of the Porcelain Throne. No movement at all, even after a long effort during which I found there are 489 tiles in the wetroom. Haha!

Updating this diary and the surgery rang me in response to the Email and the Anticoagulation new dosage. It is the same doses as last week? I explained about the call from the hospital and being told to book in for a blood test for Thursday – she said no, it has got to be for tomorrow! She stated that they could get me in for 1130hrs – I told her about the Tenant’s Meal in Arnold at midday, and she made an appointment for Thursday at 1000hrs?

When I put the details on the calendar, I realised I had not left myself much time to get to and from the hospital tests for the Deep Vein Thrombosis? Oh, heck!

Still, thinking about this, it goes a way to explain the increase in Dizzy Derek visits… I think? The wee-weeing so often; thought the thin blood might have something to do with this, but maybe not.

Feeling very confused and concerned with the lack of movement from the innards, and feeling cold, I’ve actually put on my dressing gown now, the rain has stopped and the evening sunshine came out.

Going to try and get my head down early, even for me, but after all the kerfuffle, I didn’t feel tired anymore? Up for a wee-wee, washed up and got the Gogglebox on again.

The winds still howling away outside, the rain a falling and me having to take extra care to avoid physical Accifauxpas and Whoopsiedangleplops… Is it asking a lot of me innit?

The dozing soon started, drifted off and when I woke ten minutes later I recalled a War & Peace length dream and wrote some bits down on the pad. In the morning when I got around to updating this diary, the memories written down once again were unreadable. Bits I could recall were few, involved an Austin A30 van and my head without a torso climbing out of a pram? Did this graphic for a bit of fun.

Dozed repeatedly through the programmes I wanted to watch, went for a wee-wee and turned off the telly and sat there thinking will I be able to get to sleep properly with so many nod-offs…. Zzzz!

Inchcock Today – Saturday 3rd June 2017

Saturday 3rd June 2017

Filipino: Sabado Hunyo 3, 2017

0430hrs: Woke, tried to remember the dreams, some pencil scribbled notes on the pad, but of no use due to their illegibility and the mind was blank. Never ceases to amaze me how some mornings I can recall lots of details, and on others, nowt?

Out of the already lowered £300 second-hand recliner and to the Porcelain Throne. What a difference this morning: Spent nearly an hour on the seat, in agony! Yes, hard to believe, but I now suddenly had Constipation Konrad to contend with in place of Diarrhea Derek! Grumph!

Thus, poor old Haemorrhoid Harold was bleeding profusely and giving me pain within seconds of me getting seated, I blurted out some ‘Eeee’s’, ‘Argh’s’ and ‘Oooer’s’. At last, the movement moved. Stood up slowly, the roll was crimson red, the water the same. As for the bottom, I thought that was on fire! Hehe!

‘Rescue mission mode adopted’… Cleaned up the toilet and me, put the jammy bottoms in the bucket to soak in Dettol, applied the creams, and took a senna tablet I kept in the wetroom drawer along with the Diahorrea capsules and wiped all contact surfaces with Lemon Dettol wipes.

Not feeling too well then. Anne Gyna had joined Constipation Konrad, and moments later Duodenal Donald signed in! Humph! Feeling sorry for myself time again.

Made a cuppa and viewed the scene outside.

Misty with a little light drizzle, but still a wonderful panorama.

Did the Health Checks, they looked okay to me, apart from the pulse and temperature, both a little high – but not surprising with the current onset of all these ailments is it?

Took the medications and made up the dosage pots for next week.

Made a brew and got the computer on to start this diary off and then finished off yesterday’s and posted it.

Did some WordPress Reading, and checked the Emails, updated the Google Calendar and paper one too.

Facebooked for a while. Very slow and jumpy today.

Hours and hours spent finishing the TFZer graphicalisations. So happy to get them done at last, here are a few of them.

So tired afterwards, I took a photograph of my meal with the DS card still on the computer! Huh!

Then realised I’d used the other camera and that had a card in it? I am a clot!

It was grand.

I think having the cheese again might have helped with the Trotsky’s. Or not?

Fell asleep while sorting the paperwork out.

Tsk!

Inchcock Today – Friday 2nd June 2017

Friday 2nd June 2017

Kurdish Kurmanji: 2nd Roja Înê June 2017

0400hrs: Disentangled me from the £300 second-hand recliner and off for a wee-wee – It seems that the Trotsky’s are easing off… at the moment?

0415hrs: Got the readied dirty-laundry bag and down to the laundry room and got it washing away.

Took this photographicalisation outside the foyer, a close up of some of the new double yellow road lines. Apparently where they have put the cones was where cars were parked yesterday, to keep the road car free for lining to take place today?

Backup and took the medications and did the Health Checks. Results

Results were: Sys 156, Dia 73, Pulse 79, Temp’ 33.8, Weight 14.81: All good, methinks.

Took the medications and scribbled some notes to use when I get around to doing this diary on WordPress.

Took me a really long time to find the pain gel tube. Looked in its regular drawer and all of the others, the cupboards, the living room, the wetroom and in the spare room, without any luck.

Found it in front of where I was when I started to look for it in with the bottles of sauce and seasonings on top of the counter? Tsk!

Took this photograph from the kitchen window, showing the new yellow lines.

0449hrs: Down to move the clobber into the dryer.

Back up to the apartment and got the computer on to start updating Thursday’s Chronical.

Going through the Emails afterwards I came across:

Meet the Mother of all Father’s Day treats – an insane burger costing a jaw-dropping £39.95. The Almighty, on sale at Red’s True Barbeque in Nottingham, is the ultimate meat lover’s dream. Every key ingredient is aged to perfection, working on the idea that things get better with age. Only 25 are available at the restaurant in Queen Street for Dads celebrating their special day on June 18.

0530hrs: Down to collect the laundry. No odd socks were found today. Cleaned the drum and filter out.

Clouted my elbow on the corner of the sink unit and muttered something like; “Well, fancy that!”

Back up to the mini home and got the clothes put away, and finally got a demand for the use of the Porcelain Throne.

Much better this time – are the Trotsky’s easing off, or are they teasing me? Hahaha!

Updated and finished Thursday’s diary and got it posted off.

Onto Facebooking then, fingers crossed it would not play-up freezing and the like.

It was okay, apart from when I went to see the Notifications answered then returned. Had to search for where I was before… if you know what I mean?

Got the ablutions tended to.

Letter from E3 arrived, redirected from the old address, telling me I owed them some money and it must be paid now. I went to see one of the wardens on the way out, to call them for me so I could settle it and cancel the agreement with them, convinced this sidetrack would make me miss the bus, but it had to be done. Obegruppenfurheress Julie was in the cabin and kindly called them for me. Odds are I’ll get another bill next month?

As I came out to walk into Sherwood, I spotted the L9 bus coming, for once I was glad it was so late.

Dropped off in town, after another session on the crossword book.

Had a walk around taking the City Centre taking photographs. Made a Special Post of these and much more, later.

Called in Primark Again, but nothing suitable. Hobbled in the rain to M&S, even less suitable attire. Walked to the tobacconist’s and got some snuff for Bill (William on Sundays) at the flats, then went to Clinton Street and the Sports shop. Where surprisingly I found some tops suitable and cheap too. Bought two of them. After getting a very annoyed yer disinterested good looking young man assistant to get them down for me with the extended prongs from the fifth row up on the wall.

Joined the queue to pay for them and left the shop, out into the drizzle on Clinton Street.

Where I observed that many of the Nottingham shoplifter… no, sorry, I meant shoppers, had been caught out in the rain.

Had to go find a bus stop that displayed the time on it, as I had forgotten to take the mobile with me. I know, it must be hard for you believe I could do such a thing… Haha!

It was five minutes before the L9 bus was due, so I hobbled over the crossing and to the bus stop in plenty of time.

Had a visit from Dennis Dizzy while waiting.

I was soon on the bus trying once more to complete at least one of the crosswords without cheating… I failed again!

Back at the flats, I was very pleased with how the Trotsky’s had behaved. Perhaps things are getting better now? (If only I’d known what was coming in the morning – Eurgh!)

Put the two jumpers in the metal and canvas shelves in the spare room. Took the two bags to the rubbish chute, got the kettle on, warmed the oven for the meal later and got the computer on… Windows 10 update started… warning me of drive issues and problems that it chose to sort out of its own volition. Kept starting closing. About 40 minutes later it seemed to have stopped updating and turned off. I started if again, and the installations started.

With a hopeful heart, I opened Firefox after having to inform Windows several times that I did not want their browser as default.

Then I updated this diary, then started a new post using the photographs taken today, calling it ‘Gerry’s Photographic poddle around the Wet Nottingham’ Of course I may change the name.

Back in a bit after I’ve done it, folks… All done.

The meal was tomatoes, crispy potato balls, even crispier extra strong cheddar cheese done in the oven, fresh pod peas, an egg and two battered fish cakes with bread thins and followed by a lemon mousse.

It was truly delicious!

Then the viewing of the TV programmes farce began. I spent more time nodded off that watching anything on the gogglebox!

No calls to the throne whatever?

Inchcock Today – Wednesday 31st May 2017: ‘Timothy Trots’ Continue – Ah, well!

Wednesday 31st May 2017

Samoan: 31 Aso Lulu Me 2017

0425hrs: Woke in need of yet another visit to the Porcelain Throne. I’m sure I must have worn away much of the thread in the carpet between the £300 second-hand recliner and the wet-room door last night! Hehehe!

Haemorrhoid Harold had been hurting and bleeding badly on and off all night long, fortunately, due to the return visit of ‘Timothy Trots’ I had on the Protection Pants and avoided a bigger mess than might have been. Isn’t getting old, a hoot? Haha!

Did the necessary and cleaned up well, using the lemon antibacterial wipes on all contact surfaces. Gave the rear end some medicationalisationing and applied some cream, then put some pain gel where I hit the head last night on the cabinet in the kitchen while getting some biscuits to nibble. Wrapped up the used medical attire and clothing well in black backs sprayed inside with Dettol All-in-one lemon disinfectant for disposal later.

Put on a new pair of the P Pants. Hot and uncomfortable I know, but an essential prospective line of defence, I thought.

Flipping hard work this ageing thing! Humph!

No Dizzy Dennis visits this morning anyway. Duodenal Donald persistent with his letting me know he’s there still. Ann Gyna, sweet and kind with me up to now, bless her. Carried out the Health Checks. Very surprised with the weight going up so much, though. Considering all the weight I’ve been evacuating from the innards. And consuming so little fodder last night? Odd that!

Took the morning medications with an ‘Anti-Trots’ capsule.

Made a good, strong mug of tea.Thought about having a pot of porridge

Thought about having an instant oatmeal, but there was no real hunger in me at all.

The kitchen needs a good clean up. Well, everywhere does actually I suppose. But feeling so tired all the time lately: Or am I making valid sounding excuses? Probably so!

Took a photograph of outside, through the in need of cleaning kitchen window.

Is guilt creeping in here? Methinks so?

Got ready for the Morrison man to call.

Although where I’m going to put the stuff, I don’t know. I don’t know either why I did the shopping yesterday?

Losing it here.

Started to clean kitchen window – put lemon in the cleaner in mistake for vinegar, so adding vinegar as well. It might not get it clean, but it’ll have a lot an odd scent? Haha!

0809hrs: The Morrison man arrived before I could start doing the windows.

Off he went, and I began to store away the delivered fodder. Had to throw out some frozen food to make room to get the new stuff in. Tsk! What a Plonka!

This took a while to sort out. Then I arranged the bags for the rubbish shoot, four of them, three general waste one recyclable and took them and deposited them down the refuse chute.

Back to doing the window cleaning.

Got it finished about 0900hrs. But, it didn’t look too good to me.

Called it a day and got the nibbles for the Winwood Complex’s Obergruppenfurheresses treat and took them to the Winwood Social Hut for them.

Met Obergruppenfurheress Dean as I got out of the lift and chatted about nothing. On to the hut and Obergruppenfurheress, Julie was handed the treats.

I inquired of what was being built across the road on the grass verge, and she told me it was the new temporary Social Hut.

Back to the flats, having a natter with Frank at the bus stop as he waited for it to arrive. Had to leave in a hurry due to demands being made for the use of the Porcelain Throne again. Huh!

Up and took this photo on the right of the building area for the hut.

Top left, you can see the plinths of whatever they are called in place to stand it on I assume.

Nearly dropped the camera as I came back in from hanging out of the window – I must remember to get a wristband for it when I go into town again.

Updated this diary to here, and did some WordPress reading.

Onto Facebooking next. Added photo’s then responded to the comments thingy. Facebook was playing up again… Double Humph!

Made a mug of tea, visited the Porcelain Throne and did some more work of the TFZer graphicalisationing. Got another one of the latest series done.

By now it was late in the afternoon. Took the midday medications.

Got the meal on the cook and did some more WordPressing, got carried away and nearly burnt the food! Ha-well!

Had the potatoes with butter inside, naughty but nice!

Fell asleep and had no end of different dreams about all sorts of situations. Could only recall bits of them, but there was a link between the mall I think… me drowning in a canal, falling off of rooftops and underground being chased. So, a Whoopsiedangleplop dream session? Hehe!

Took the evening medications along with another anti-diarrhea capsule.

While in the kitchen, I had my usual perusal of the view and thought it so funny watching a dog taking its owner for a walk down the gravel hill path near the Copse.

Grabbed the camera and zoomed down the depth of the twelve stories of the compound to take this effort of a photographicalisation of the pair of them.

The young dog was definitely in charge here as he dragged her into and out of the bushes and trees, then back to the path! Hehehe!

A visit to the Porcelain Throne again, but they were getting less frequent and volumatic. Is that the right word?

Last time Timothy Trots visited me, this happened. I think I’m being teased into sensing relief, but, am sure things will get worse again.

Got the gogglebox on and watched some political election debates, and decided none of the parties was my cup of tea. So decided to vote next Thursday 8th June for any one of them without a chance of winning (Apart from the Lib-Dems, I’ll never forgive them for going into the Coalition with Cameron and the Tories and nearly self-destructing as they did so) it doesn’t matter which one. But I feel that I have to use my vote.

Had a search for the new camera strap that BJ told me to take with me at tomorrow’s Social Hour so he can fit it for me – Humph, Could not find it!

Back to the TV and promptly fell asleep.

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 30th May 2017

Tuesday 30th May 2017

Scots Gaelic: Dimàirt 30 Cèitean 2017

0415hrs: Stirred with a sensation from the innards that ‘Thomas Trots’ were brewing within again. Aware of the fact that I had been dreaming but once again, no recollections of any details. Most annoying this. Huh!

Dismounted the £300 second-hand recliner and off to the Porcelain Throne. No bleeding from Haemorrhoid Harold, but the ‘texture’ was a bit loose and reminiscent of the ‘Trots’ returning and was nervous making. Humph!

Kettle on and took the medications. Did the Health Checks with the following results:

Sys 153 – Dia 75 – Pulse 91 – Temperature 35.8 – Weight (Wait for it…Hehe!) Up to 14.85! One day of my being stuck indoors again and up it shoots!

Made a brew of good strong tea and got the computer going to start this diary off. Then back to the Porcelain Throne once more… oh dear, definitely more splatter in nature this time. Not good this. Afterwards, the stomach started rumbling, grumbling and annoyingly with stabbing pains.

Updated to here, then finished off yesterday’s chronical and got it posted off.

Did some WordPress reading.

Worked through the Emails.

Onto CorelDraw to start a TFZer graphicalisation. While doing them, the surgery emailed me with the next INR test for Tuesday 6th June at 10.05am.

1125hrs: Tired with all the concentration on doing the graphics.

Going to get the ablutions done and get out on the bus into Arnold and call at the Open Market to try and get some fresh pod pea, methinks.

Back in a while, I hope.

Good clean up completed, I set out to the bus stop. Nice chinwag with some of the residents.

The L9 to Bestwood arrived and I was only one of us to get on it.

As the bus took a slightly deviant route down into Sherwood, I took the opportunity to take a photographicalisation through the window, of a different view of Sherwood and Basford.

The sky, like all day, kept threatening rain or worse as it would darken suddenly then slowly lighten again?

Into Arnold and I dropped off the vehicle near the Wilko store.

Popped in, but did not buy anything.

Along to the Open Arnold Market and to the fruit and veg stall. They did not have any fresh pod peas on sale, though.

Plodded along Front Street, not many folks out and about today.

Had a bit of a Dizzy Dennis on the walk to the Fulton Food Store. Managed to get two bottles of the tasty Sterilised milk, with with a long ‘Use by’ date on them. Some Lemon flavoured ice cones for only a quid, that were titled on the box of six as “Rios Waffel Hornchen’s” German perhaps? 400g cans of Garden Peas at 3 for only a quid! And two packs of strong cheddar for only £2! Got some bargains there did I not?

Of course, I didn’t need any of what I bought, apart from the sterilised milk. Tsk!

Then, foolishly, I wandered across the road into the Asda (Walmart) store. Where I first got a TV magazine for next week, then looked for some pod peas but they had none in. Then, totally incomprehensively, I bought two packs of grated strong cheddar that were on offer. Talk about the short term memory going when you get on a bit – How I could have forgotten I’d bought the two packs from Fulton’s ten minutes earlier, I don’t know! Sad really!

It got worse. They were offering Minced Lamb and Potato Hot Pots, at two for £3, Lemon and Lemon Curd yoghourts on offer, a pack of some cheese filled potatoes for baking reduced from £2 to £1.59, a pack of 6 English tomatoes at 69p, biscuits, Pork and Mushroom Pate, bread thins, Surimi sticks, chocolate Shortcake biscuits and Potato Farls.

Paid the lady at the checkout and struggled to carry the two bags to the bus stop when I departed the store.

Got to the bus stop and waited for the L9 bus to get me back to the flat and the Porcelain Throne.

The innards and the Trots were threatening an Accifauxpa as the rumbled away suddenly.

A most uncomfortable and nervous bus ride home.

I photographed the sky as we passed some houses, it was looking threatening again.

Tried to do some crosswords then, anything to try and take my mind off of the imminent possibility of utter embarrassment and shame of loosing control of the innards bubbling away. Oh, dearie me!

I had what might have proven to be a calamity when I got back to the flats. Several other tenants got off at the same time, and as they made their way rapidly to the foyer, I realised there were too many of us to all get into the lift… as I was the slowest moving it followed that I would have to wait for them to go up and lift to come back down… further risking an Accifauxpa from the rear end!

By the time I got there they were all on their way up, and the wait for the lift to return back down seemed like a painful month of Sundays to me! I can laugh about it now, but not at the time! Hehe!

Sweating somewhat by the time I got in the lift, praying control could be maintained and Timothy Trots would not cause me shame.

Getting out of the lift and to the flat door is a haze more than a memory. Bags dropped in the doorway floor, clothes discarded and into the wetroom, tore the flipping trousers and underpants panicking to get them off ASAP… And…relax! Made it without any real Whoopsidenagleplop, but with not a second to spare!

Haemorrhoid Harold was flowing blood freely and Duodenal Donald started giving me some stick. Had to do a mammoth cleaning up session of the Throne, wetroom and myself. Wiped contact surfaces with the lemon antibacterial wipes. Got the Protection Pants on, threw away the trousers after emptying the pockets into another pair. I felt so drained then. But pleased at having avoided a totally ignominious outcome.

Got the purchases out and stored them on their proper places.

Then remembered the Morrison order arriving tomorrow!

With no room in the freezer and very little in the fridge, things might get difficult in the morning?

Humph!

Got the fodder on the cook, Lamb hotpot in the oven added the potato farls and balls later.

Served it up, unsure if I was eating the right thing here for the innards situation?

Decided I was not, so only ate a bit of it, to be on the safe side. Tempting as it was, as it did taste marvellous.

Shame that!

I did have one of the Waffel Hornchen’s afterwards, the cone was really soft, but the lemon ice-cream was great.

I think the Quorn vegetable lasagne in the fridge might be alright to try for tomorrow’s meal?

The rumbling and grumbling remained, but no worse, and there were not too many trips to the Throne afterwards either. Although I did feel well drained and a little confused for some reason?

Checked the TV paper and chose some things to watch. Fell asleep of course, when I woke there was a different programme on than what was indicated in the TV magazine. I rechecked and discerned belatedly that I had read tomorrow’s page in error. Huh, clot!

Soon nodded off again. Waking up what seemed seconds later, but with dream memories in my head? Wrote down notes to record later. I was in the garden of the old house, creosoting the fencing… Tony Blair joined me, with Michael Foot with him… I pointed out that Michael was welcome in my garden. You (Blair) the philargyrist and empleomania sufferer, was not! How the heck did I remember those words? Blair used his mobile phone and (Perhaps the SAS?) armed men arrived and kicked down my fencing and covered my face with shaving foam, Blair warned me about something, I kept asking repeatedly what he meant but did not get an answer from the non-stop nattering and gesturing Blair… Then I was on a rooftop…?

There was another line of text, but it was undecipherable.

Not having eaten much, I felt a bit hungry, and wondered what to have that would not aggravate the innards or ‘Trots’.

Did the Health Checks and took the medications – including one of the Morrison Diarrhoea capsule that I found pretty effective on my last attack of the ‘Trots’.

Then thought I’d have some biscuits to nibble, thinking they will not cause any aggravation to the situation. Hehe!

Which I don’t think they did – But, the hitting of my head on the cabinet door above when I went for the biscuit box did! Whoopsidangleplop!

Got the head down again, and was soon off in the land of nod… ten minutes later, up out of the £300 second-hand recliner and into the Porcelain Throne room.

This became the pattern for the night really. Humph!

TTFN.

Inchcock Today: Monday Bank Holiday 29th May 2017 Stuck in, no buses and the Trots return. Humph!

Monday Bank Holiday 29 May 2017

Romanian: Sâmbătă, 29 Mai 2017

0420hrs: Woke with a start, TV still on, undrunk orange juice in the mug near the £300 second-hand recliner, remote control resting in the folds of my stomach. Hehe!

Amazing innit? Last night I fell asleep, had a dream (Albeit an odd one) and found notes about it so clear and lucidly defined, and in pencil handwriting that I must have written, but was nothing like my usual scrawl. Also, I was able to copy it with ease when I updated yesterday’s Diary. Now, this morning knowing I’d had a hell of a dream and conscious of it being a real enjoyable sweven… but cannot remember anything else about it and I did not make any notes of it this time? Humph!

To the porcelain throne – a little loose and disconcerting this morning. Prayed that the ‘Trots’ were not coming back again! Pondered on whether to take a diarrhoea capsule or not.

Into the kitchen. The view outside was so gorgeous again with the pretty fresh greens. I took a photograph at the top of this page. Made a mug of Yorkshire tea, opened the computer and doctored the photo.

Then set about finalising and updating yesterday’s diary and doing a WordPress page on Sunday’s fantastic Papplewick Pumping Station visit and got them both posted off.

Passed the wind and shot ASAP back to the Porcelain Throne! This decided me to imbibe the medications next, and take a diarrhoea capsule with them after all!

Made another brew and took them.

Got this diary started off, accompanied I’m afraid with the familiar rumbling, grumbling bubbling innards having now started. Humph!

For some reason, WordPress is not allowing me to Share with Facebook now?

And Grammarly is playing up and not working now and then. I tried the button many times without any luck. I can’t win can I?

Damned technology!

Fancy that? Grumph

The tea had gone cold again. Went to get a drink of milk, and Accifauxpa number one arrived. As I pulled back the inner foil lid on the carton, I managed to spill the milk over the inside of the fridge door, me, and the floor!

Made another mug of tea after cleaning up, then I did some WordPress reading.

Onto Facebook.

Jillie from TFZ posted about kitchens.

I took this photographicalisation and posted it. Told them it is Crowded, cramped, not much storage space and minuscule – But I love it! Hehe!

Spent hours catching up with Facebook, enjoyed it, well, all apart from the freezing it did again.

Got the oven warming up ready for the beef pie to go in later. Put a heat under the potatoes on low. I’ve boiled them in BBQ flavouring today. Hope they taste alright.

Realised I’d not turned on the cooker, Tsk!

I did an order for Morrisons for fodder on Tuesday while the oven warmed up. Made some stuffing that should cook at the same time as the pie. Hopefully.

Reread the Emotions chapter to try to digest the meanings within.

Got the meal served in a bowl so as to seek to avoid crumbs from the rather well-done beef pie and crispy sage & onion stuffing. That I’d added some far too thick a gravy mix.

But I ate every scrap of it and the lemon curd yoghourt.

Felt tired again, so washed and settled in the £300 second-hand recliners. Perused the TV magazine. Many programmes worth watching were on at the same time again. I actually managed to watch over two hours of programmes, before the urge to use the Porcelain Throne arrived. After which I declared myself as ‘A Trot Sufferer’ again! Huh!

Most uncomfortable now, innards grinding away and Duodenal Donald joined in later.

The bug got to me, you know, the one where I  am suddenly aware that I have forgotten something, summat needed to be done? Horrible sensation and I could not remember anything, yet the feeling remained that I had forgotten something?

I spent ages nodding off to be woken by Duodenal Daniel or the requirement to visit the Throne, nodding off again, up again… All night it seemed. In fact, I think I did manage to nod off about midnight without any further Throne visitations until I woke around 0425hrs, and hastily, just in time got to the Porcelain!

The Trot’s Return? Oh, flipping ‘eck!

TTFN all, fanks for reading.
