Do you know… are you listening?
There were times today; I’m not kidding…
When I almost knew what I was doing!
Twelve goes at the Catheter irrigating,
There must be summat else, it’s irritating…
So much I keep on forgetting,
Doreen Dementia’s inquinating…
My memory, she’s masticating…
The Doctor’s ready for cognoscing,
My concentration is cadencing,
I await good luck commencing,
My brain is beyond assubjugating.
I suppose all this should be heartbreaking?
But a chance of some little ameliorating…
I’ve got cheesy potatoes in the oven baking!
I can smell the cheese as it’s melting…
I bet this is going to taste belting!

20:15hrs now. Another day flashes by. What I’ve done and why. Who’s been to see me? Can’t remember, can’t decree… Been a sad muddled day for me! So, some photos you can see, Feeling so confused, I could cry!
First Pouch emptying…
Before the mist descended.
Food order. Some treats for the Carers.
One of the afternoon pouch emptying. Amazing colour, healthy looking!
Nice parking today!
Mug of Glengettie, note-less notepad, and a nose bleed.
Blimus! This one filled up quickly.
Late Carer Josef called. Only needed some painkillers to ease the mild agony from the Catheter bag tube in Little Inchy. Argh!
NOSH TIME
The plan was to show a photo of the served-up nosh here. However: The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry!
No matter how carefully a project is planned, something may still go wrong with it. The saying is adapted from a line in “To a Mouse” by Robert Burns: “The best-laid schemes o’ mice an’ men / Gang aft a-gley.” Yes, Inchie forgot to put the SD card back in the camera again! So the evening shot and shot of the TV on, also, as Rabbi Burns said… “Gang aft a-gley “.
When I emptied night pouch, I did remember to put the car in first. Tsk!
Not a good colour.
When I was nodding off, I needed to utilise the. again. The visit took me half an hour or so overall. Sticky, gooey, messy. The actual evacuation maybe lasted a minute. The cleaning up & medicating… ages! Costly business nowadays. Last year the above cost me £2.19 – Now… £4.99! But it does a good job of easing .
On that rather sordid note, I’ll leave you now. (Fri Morning) And get this blog checked. (I’m bound to miss some mistakes, of course, I’m getting good at that recently) and sent off to WordPress.
Another frustrating day. Errors, mistakes, went to get my toenails cut on a wrong day. Clouted my now aching elbow on the door-frame. Lost the mobile phone, but found the magnifying glass when looking for it. On the bright side, there were only three Porcelain Throne visits. Dropped, and this time, broke one of the China tea mugs… hit my forehead on the sink bending to clean up the mess. Still, Jodie and Carolynne calling cheered me up. Carolynne came while I was adding ingredients to the stew of soup I was making for later; her face was a picture when she looked at it and said… “Should it be that colour?… still it smells nice!” The Catheter tube in Little Inchie has given me more angst than for ages – that was because I had to get dressed to go down to the salon to get the feet done, and Cathleen Catheter does not like the tube being pulled about when I have to walk… mind you, Little Inchie certainly disliked it! I’ve just stubbed my toes again as well! – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Emptied the pouch
Nippy and windy this morning. Glum, too!
Potatoes into their crock pot again.
Got an email from matess and mate, HRH Lisa-Petal, and Professor Billum from Ohio. They are going to phone me again; bless them and needed to know the best time to ring cause of the cost. I made a clip of the computer screen in Calendar and sent it off to them. ♥
Busy week. Hang on, I did this yesterday, didn’t I? Oh, dear. I think I’m losing it faster than I thought!
Just before lunch, I stood up after hours at the computer, and the straps on the Catheter pouch fell. Got it emptied just in time!
Carer Atere did the first two calls. On the first, as I went to show him, the taps to check were not let running; for a change, Instead of shoulder charging or head-butting the edge of the door-frame, I hit my elbow joint against it. It’s still stinging now, over ten hours later! Humph!
Got a text message. It’s getting harder to read than ever. I did decipher the short message: “Feet 2 p.m.”
So, I had to get the ablutions done swiftly. And dressed to go down to the salon. By the time I’d got halfway there, Little Inchies fungal lesion was giving my… well, agony! This is why when I do not need to go out, I just wear a dressing gown in the flat, thus relieving the harassment to the inserted tubing. I checked the laundry room for my washing bag but could not find it, and I only have one clean gown left, and I’m wearing that.
I must ask a carer later – I must ask a carer later – I must ask a carer later!
When I got to the salon, well, I wrote about this in the intro. I am a fool! Carer Kara… no, Jodie pointed out the error that I’d made with reading the message. There was another line with ‘Friday’ on it!
Why I took this… another mystery.
Bit of rain.
THe Adsa order arrived… Kepy it down this time; not too much bought…
This was the sky at the usual sunsetting time?
Still Bootiful!
CArolynee called on the last visit. Lovely to he her and Jodie after such a long time.
Last photo of the sky.
MY being a pareidolia addict, I found something in each of the above photos! In the bottom one, at least five animals. Can you spot them? Go on, have a look!
Got the late nosh sorted out. Can of lamb & potatoes soup. Well seasoned with lamb gravy, basil, tomato passata, Worcester sauces, mint, sea salt & added a lot of sliced boiled potatoes. Soft rolls were delivered today. Result:
It’s genuinely difficult to write this little overview, And wanted to write it in rhyme, too! I’m not going to start moaning… I’ll try not to… Naturally, I can’t promise you, My brain used to act as an autocue… Now, Wednesday, I’ve another brain scan due, Dementia Doreen has me as a detenue & détenu, It’s difficultest to maintain logic & virtue, There is no point now in taking any long view… It’s a battle to wash, dress, and take a poor! Whatever can I do? I try to stay witty and not feel blue… Price rises in rent, electricity, & food accrue, Bad enough, but now the mind does miscue, The eyes give me misty, mottled view… The catheter pain, pouch replacement is overdue… Without help, I can’t get on a sock or shoe! Taking too many tumbles. walk into doors too! Deafness worsening will continue…
But I’ll not give in, I promise you!
When I see St Peter and his gate crew…
There’s going to be a right hullabaloo!
———————————— Sorry not have much on today; time beat me again…
This is the punch, one hour after emptying it. Not a lot?
Gloomy morning.
. Potatoes were put in the slow cooker and forgotten about again. I can use them on Monday?
Email from Manor Laboratories in the USA. The Time-Machine Professor Billum and HRH Lisa-Petal, are going to ring me again: Bless them! ♥ Being a logical Scientist, Billum asked which time would be bestest to make the call. I checked on next week’s calendar and sent a copy to the Manor. It was early Morning when I found this, hope I got it right.
Yikes! This ain’t good.
Not so good view photos tonight. Still, I’ve done worserer ones. Tsk!
The ‘In’s & Out’s of it’ continued today. I think I had many more than yesterday. Which resulted in dozens of mini-mind-blanks. As for recalling what I was doing… well?
Gotten Himmel! I think it looked worse than what it was. The light shining on the masculine, jealous-making to others, postmarked scarred, blotchy right leg makes the blood in the bag seem darker than it really is. No?. The pouch seemed ready to explode as well.
The vegetarian casserole went down well. I’d seasoned t with some Henderson’s sauce, sea salt, 7-Mediterranean vegetables sauce, and tomato passata with basil, and a vegetable Oxo cube. Oh, yes, and a sprinkling of some imitation soya-bacon crumbles. I gave this a Taste Rating of 7.4/10. Not bad at all.
Sweet Morpheus was not keen on helping me again, and I ended up putting the TV on, that usually guarantees me nodding off. Well, it did this time… But unfortunately, it took a couple of hours longer than usual
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Heck of a shock here today! The NHS input site advised me to ring NHS 111 starlight away, So I did!
But they were too busy and told me to visit the NHS 111 site. So, I did.
An hour later, I filled in the questions asked & guessed at the choices made.
Sent it off and was told someone would contact me later. They are very busy, and this may take some time, be patient. So, I did!
I went to make a brew, and the telephone rang – I was surprised I heard it in the kitchen, but, there you are, I did.
Answered many questions and had to guess at a few. The nurse had an accent, and the kine was not good, so it took a time to review all the needed details. Ultimately, she decided that the SYSs 128, and 119, with respective DIAs 57 and 59, were okay? This despite the NHS monitoring site telling me it was Too Low and to ring 111?
Don’t feel too confident about this. But then again, it’s unsurprising; they are the lowest readings I’ve ever had?
Well, the lowest B~P readings ever, advised to ring 111 – told to go online, spent ages sorting required details. Told it was okay. And earlier, this above when I woketh up. Similar farces these two. If the blood in the wee is level 6 or 7, I’m supposed to ring 111 – Ha!
I was woken up (Didn’t get settled until around 04:00hrs) and was woken by the arrival of Carer Sam. I was half out of it, having just been stirred reluctantly back to life. Think we had a chinwag, and Sam took the washing nada waste bag on her way out. Thank you.
Porcelain Throne visited, cleaned up the kitchen, dropped the milk bottle, and stubbed my toes again. The brain was not too interested in being creative and went on strike a few times when I got nothing done whatsoever; just seemed to sit here thinking but not knowing why or what of?
The yes were still bad, and concentration as well.
Dizzy Dennis, The Kathleen Catheter tube, and Anne Gyna all gave me bother of some sort. I really was only half here for many hours. Scary! Sort of light-headed, I suppose… mind you, I still am now seven hours later.
Lost the camera but found it a few hours later, hidden in front of me to the right of the computer – How the hell did I miss that?
Liberty-Global Virgin Media went down.
I made a brew and fell asleep for a while…
A while? Four bloody hours!
Carer Jo-Anne arrived; I was still a bit vague about things.
After the gal left… Ah, it was Jo-Anne I think that tool the washing? I could be wrong; of course, it has been known.
No sunset tonight. Boo!
Found the camera.
Lost the eye drops.
Sadly no chance of any sunset tonight… Sob!
Took early evening shots.
A couple of hours late, these…
Very little snow left now
Then got the soup and put the potatoes and soya bits in with it, then the seasoning. But could not find the mint sauce? Are a lot of things disappearing today?
Looking okay to me.
Blogging for another hour or two. Got about ten minutes’ worth of work done, Huh!
Carer Ayowoke arrived. The first time I’d seen him. Nice lad. He gave me a roster for next week, no Carer Richard in it! I asked if he knew anything about Richard, but he did not know him.
Did some more effort on this blog, but I still can’t get my head around the NHS telling me to ring NHS 111, and then eventually, telling me to log onto the web with NHS 111. After having to log in all my details, telling me that the Blood Pressure figures were okay?
I got the nosh on and served up. Another part-canned meal. A can of Asda Chunky Lamb & Vegetable soup. Couldn’t find the mint sauce to add to it, I think maybe it may have gone out of date? (Spit!) Added vegetable stock and some Pertranic, Cooked & sliced potatoes, just one finger knick!. Soy bacon thingies added; the final bit… Wholemeal rolls for me to dunk and dip! And soon, I’d demolished it! Eating every morsel and bit! Flavour Rating: 705/10.
The late Carer was Carole-Anne. Still no . We had a mini natter & laugh. Refreshing!
I woke up as my ginormously flabby body hit the floor! Landing conveniently on my bottom, but rather, unfortunately, the burst open . It was the mess of sorting things out that got to me rather than the bleeding itself. Handily, it was almost easy to get me back up on my bloated feet and legs… The first job was to check . I placed some paper towels inside the Protection Pants first, then looked over the pouch, grippers and tubing. All seems to be still attached.
Off to the wet room, giving the door frame a mini shoulder-charge as I went in. That hurt more than anything else did. Hehehe! I didn’t fret about this being half asleep; I expected that , and would cause me some problems. Even joined in with an . Only a little one, but enough for me to knock the Germoloid, Daktacort and Savlon creams off of the floor cabinet. Then after the haemorrhoids were treated… the always ‘Painful-Job’ of Cleaning up and ointmentationing !
After a multitude of Argh! – Ouches, curse words and loathings, and a moment of ‘Why Me Mate’ emotions, it was done.
REFLECTIONS
I was amazingly calm and physiological about things… at least, I think I was? That’s probably not the word I should have used? It could have been a sign of my acceptance of the circumstances or my rotten luck? I may have been sick to the back teeth (mind you, there’s only one of them left in the mouth now) of hearing myself moan and whining on about my inabilities, ailments, frustrations, Accifauxpas, Whoopsiedangleplops, eyesight, hearing, Cathy Catheter pains, shortage of pouches, and the seemingly never-ending Bladder-Infection. Being bald, overweight, Duodenal Donald, Little Inches Phimosis and fungal lesion, Peripheral Neuropathy, having two strokes, being shot twice, scared shit of going in water. Now, there’s the , and the . The palpitating of the mechanical ticker. The almost persistent No help attainable for things like the computer and letters that are either too small or complicated for me to hear, see or understand? This will, I assume, be due to the attention gleaned of… .
Asda order arrived. . Pondered on whether to have casserole for a nosh? Put the rest of the fodder away. Fridge before and after delivery. Note that it is not full! Tried the Vegan butter later. It didn’t spread well, but tasted grand!
Took some more view photos of the light snowfall. See
above… Not the houses, which I reckon must either have
a Cannabis farm in the loft, that, or they are so rich
that they can afford to heat the attic? Hehehe!
.
The footfall in the snowfall, in the bottom field.
Later, a man and his dog caught my attention. Well, it was the wildly wagging tail of the dog mainly. Boy, that dog loved the snow!
During the day, I had the attention of Carer Josef, Carer Adele, also & I think Carer Carolynne. But since the arrival of any name could well be the wrong one.
Sorry about that!
The snow gave us another covering.
Throne visit six attended. Every one of the previous sessions were a watery-gurgling mess. This one was the complete opposite.. lost out to the new King of the Throne’s return – ! followed the evacuation.
Then, I walked into the door frame on my way out... And pulled the tubing that was stuck in Little Inchie. Naturally, this left poor . Undaunted by this mini-series of S, I made a refreshing mug of Thompson’s Punjana tea… Taking the first drink of it at the computer, gave me a nudge, and the mug and tea dropped from my grasp! Of course, I took this in my usual casual, calm, devil-may-care-but-not-me nonchalance. . I was close to crying with frustration!
I made the meal of the day… I’d forgotten about the potatoes in the slow cooker. Not that
I needed them; I’d gone a smidge.OTT without them. The plant butter on the bread rolls tasted wonderful.
Did a bit on this blog, mostly getting things wrong, lost all concentration as my eyes failed, and my head drooped. I gave up!
Not much gen today. It’s been another in-and-out-of-it day, up and down, and I fell asleep on the computer chair. Carer Carolynne, or Sam, or… came in and woke me, saying I? was slowly slipping floorwards… Hehe!
A smidge of bloody urine in the well-filled bag this morning.
Emptied the bag and bucket, washed and disinfected. Got the waste bags sorted. And called to the Porcelain Throne. Messy! Got the ablutions done, many cuts shaving, but nothing serious. Then… back on the Throne for the second session. Cleaned the floor.
Checked on the lack of food in the fridge. Hope the new bank card arrives soon… then I’ve got to get the details changed on all the sites… Oh, dear. Off to get the ablutions done. No showering; it is too early to disturb folks with the noise of the drain and pump. Had a stand-up job. But it still took me over two hours to finish everything, including Throne visits three and four. (Yes!) Snf that was without doing the teeth (I forgot, Humph!) And didn’t medicate Little Inchies Fungal Lesion, Harold’s Haemorrhoids or even put the eye drops in! I did the olive oil in both ear holes.
Had a mock clean-up in the kitchen. Then, much to my surprise, the Ocado delivery arrived. This was because Ocado takes your money as you ordered (before the card was cancelled) and then compensates you for any shortages within the next five working days, as I understand it.
The good news was that they had sent some Apache potatoes, and bread, lots of bread. I had a job to get it all in the freezer. I pondered on having a can of the minted pea soup with some potatoes this evening. Then realised it was afternoon already. Had I had another Mind-Blank?
Late afternoon, the first snow of the year descended. I tried to get some shots in, despite it being so dark already, with the hopes of catching some snow in them.
Got a few flakes in this one… And this one… And again… Not sure about this wider snap… The snow had stopped by the time I took this one. Carer Kara was here, and as she left, she handed me two letters that had been posted. One was the… The British Gas electricity bill… for £453!
Got some tomatoes seasoned to have some sausages with later. The peas & potatoes had lost favour!
No more snow, but looking glum.
Computer blogging and mistake making.
Oh, not so clear again.
Nosh-Time! (00:45hrs)
Vegan Sausages… And they were Grrreat! Added the links to the tomatoes. Which were seasoned with sea salt, vinegar, basil, and some imitation soy bacon bits too! Sourdough bread to dunk in the tomatoes and dribbled all down the dressing gown. Finding its way between my legs vis the chest and mould of the stomach and onto poor Little Inchies Fungal Lesion. Not only that, but it got onto the tubing and other bits of So sleep was further delayed due to the need to clean up
myself, the chair and change clothes. During this, I managed to misplace my hearing aids. With , and all getting worse, there is no chance of reading the subtitles! So, no watching football on the telly. It took me until about 03:30 hours, but I eventually found the hearing aids. They had fallen and ended up underneath the 1963 Hopewells E-plan cabinet with the doors falling off.
I got the picker-upperer but had to get down on my knees. Why? Because right at the back against the wall, I spotted my missing wind-up torch… three various tablets… the missing ultra-black-ink pen, a letter from British Gas telling me I must update my cash card details,
Getting back up… Hah!
I got settled, took some painkillers, swore a bit and off in a search of around 04:40hrs!
Most of the day, I was concerned about the banking mystery I got three voice messages over the first hour or so of my escaping the questionable pleasure of the second-hand, £300, c1968, overwhelmingly-sickening beige coloured, tatty, uncomfortable, wobbly, germ-producing, falling to pieces, Harold-Haemorrhoids-testing, food residue-collecting, fall-outable off, rusty, catheter-tube squashing recliner. But I could not hear what was being said, and I missed most of it, especially as they were reading out telephone numbers that I had to dial. Then another one came, which cleared the phone of the earlier ones, and I had no idea how to get them back again! At this point, I thought I’ll wait until a Carer came, and I asked for help – hoping it would be . It wasn’t; I think the lad has either left the job, fallen poorly or is fed up with my moaning? Hehehe!
Then, Carer (I think) it was, who arrived). Or was it Carer Charly. I can’t recall which came first now. With the fretting over the bank account being frozen… nothing else mattered for a while. Then, a telephone call came in!. After a while, trying to understand the man, who said he was from the bank and was concerned about some outgoing and needed to check them. It was from America; where the two big amounts came from? They had cancelled my account and will send me a new card in a few days’. They think that I’ve been frauded, scammed, got at, whatever. At the back of my Doreen Dementia mind, I was thinking, is this chap a scammer or really from the bank? Either way, he somehow convinced me that he was… he did not ask for any numbers or figures anyway = well, not that I can remember. No one to help me now; Carer Kara is away, and she can’t reset the shopping details… I rang off, but it was afterwards that I realised I’d got an order arriving from Asda and Ocado – will I get them or not with the card being suspended, whatever you call it… withdrawn? I tried to make an amendment to the Asda order. To see if the card was still active – it let me add a couple of things, but at the checkout, it wouldn’t let me! I checked on the numbers I’d put in earlier and tried again… Nope, no good. So I’ll not be getting the food then.
I can’t recall seeing the fridge so barren of food. Not that it mattered; I’ve got tons of canned food and nibbles all over the flat. Hahaha! I mentioned to Carer Charly on her next visit, and she said she’d bring some bread in for me late tomorrow. Bless her! I’ll try not to mention this again. Thought I’d get it out of the way. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Not many photos were taken. Just not interested for hours and hours I was trying to get my head around and settled over the banking mess. No shave again, not showering. I must drink!
This is the 2nd check colour.
Took this immediately after getting off the phone for the second time… I was more than concerned. So many possible different outcomes that may mature. Talking of mature… I must check the dates on the food in the fridge… Silly me! There are only strawberry desserts in there.
I was weeing well. Although I can’t take any credit doe it. At least fifteen emptying sessions twixt 15:00 to 19:00hrs!
Only the safe sun-setting shots here…
I took these over about half an hour.
To the left…
To the right…
Higher up. ahead.
Higher still…
Even though dour, it looks beautiful to me.
Last effort.
Nosh: At last!
Canned thick vegetable soup. Canned potatoes cut up and added. Seasonings; BBQ, sea salt, liquid smoke, basil, soy-bacon bits and a good dollop of some excellent tomato passata.
An oven-cooked baton of bread. Two pots of dessert – well, one of them was on its last eat-by-date. Carer Cheeky Charly called. We had no to use. Chemist & District nurse communication problems?
Day bag soon filled, then stopped in the afternoon?
I had a natter with my family from the Manor Laboratories in Cincinnati. Cute they are! ♥
INR blood test, tea & notepad.
Not exactly sure what this was supposed to be a photo of… But I got it wrong again. I’m good at that!
Afternoon sky – a bit glum here.
ODE TO GLUM That’s an odd word, innit, Glum?… Another odd word to me is sistrum… Could be because I’ve just taken my Diascorium? Whichever end of the social spectrum… Short of dosh, gelt, pounds, yen, or ngultrum, Have a drink, perhaps some rum? That should help you not to be glum!
Darker now, no sign of a sunset… Cragknangles!
The bottom field. Not a soul in sight… Chestnut Way car park… Not a soul in sight.
A bad day for the “Out-Of-It” spells. “Mind Blanks” & “Self-Loathing. I made up ten templates in advance today…A bad mistake. Cost me most of the day.But I kept mind-wandering off to do other things, without a care in the world for while I was doing them… Afterwards, catching up and getting to where I was before my meanderings just cost me more time.As if things don’t take long enough to get done nowadays? I’d have missed the first proper sunset we’ve had for daysif it wasn’t for Carer Carolynne arriving. She helped me take some photos. As usual, I got carried away and took far too many for far too long.By the time I’d returned to the computer, I’d acquired an empty mind of magnificent incapability. What was I doing?Ah, well, I’ll do my best. I’m only just starting this blog, and it is already 22:30hrs!
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Bloody heck! Well, in the pouch!.
Guess who burnt his already burned knuckle?
Carer Sam and Carollyne had been and gone. I got on with the template-making again. It only took me about nine hours to get them done.
I got some soup in the saucepan and added some imitation bacon bits, liquid smoke, salt and vinegar to the vegetables, and added a can of peas. Lovingly stirred it all together, but I got summoned again to the beloved . Where I spent the next hour or so in a battle to force an evacuation. Like cement! The soup got burnt!
I had a pot of Chinese rice. It was very nice.
The next few hours are nothing more than scraps of memory. I don’t recall anyone calling on me, but think they did. I found the hot tap running and now have no water to wash and shave with. No way am I going to try using saucepans and kettles in the state I’m in… at least, I think I was. I must see the nurse about these bouts of, as I call them, being “Out-of-it!” Anything could happen. It might have?
Carer Carolynne arrived for her last call. This is when I realised we had got a sunset going on in the night sky. I got the Fuji, and the Carer took some photos on her mobile phone of the magnificent view on offer. After she sorted the medications and took the bags out for me, I stayed taking photos for about an hour as the reluctant-to-leave-us sun fought to stay in view.Marvellous! IK think I’ve got them in order as taken.
First batch.
Second batch…
Third effort – Getting good now!
Apparently, calming down?
Leaving?
Fare thee well!
Hello! Is she trying to make a comeback?
Took some close-ups here...
I went to empty out the day pouch again, disinfected and cleaned the bucket, and back into the kitchen for a brew… Blimey, she was still giving it a go! Wonderful!
I really enjoyed taking them shots!
Carer Richard arrived – he was not happy. We were out of night catheter bags. So that’s why the others didn’t attach them to the day bag for the last three nights. No one has done anything about it. The lad was really annoyed and was fed-up. Which upset me in a way; I hate to see. Richard upset. Poor lad. He didn’t stay long, he was not in the mood for a natter.
And he didn’t call on Monday morning either. Hope he’s alright.
A decent nosh made. Nowt to get excited about. Guess what it was? Hehe! Flavour Rating 6.8/10.
I rose, then went to empty the catheter’s wee-wee…
Stubbed my toe and muttered, “I see!”…
That is how the day’s going to be?
Walked into the door-frame, reacting huffishly!
Dropped the bucket when emptying the pee…
I swore and cursed somewhat lavishly!
Then to the Porcelain Throne, the lavatory…
The evacuation was loose and all gooey…
By Gawd, it was so sickeningly stinky!
The bank rang; rather demandingly…
Their questionnaire I’d not filled in, apparently?
She had a sweet voice, so I replied droolingly…
“Fret not; it’ll be done; you can rely on me!”
First I must ring about my upcoming urinoscopy,
She rang off, a little curtly…
I couldn’t find the bank’s letter, annoyingly…
Doreen Dementia many times presented tortuosity…
Not physically, of course, but mentally…
So I had a few hours of lost logicality…
But that’s nothing new nowadays to me.
£25 to get my toes cut, this time bloodlessly!
My brain and body often lost synergy…
Tested my patience and mental energy…
I’m not sure what that means exactly?
Concentrating brought on somnifacientity,
I fell asleep at the computer… became worry-free…
I dreamed I’d acquired knowledge & sagacity.
But it was part of life’s misleading sophistry.
I moan, and I groan… such is my sad proclivity!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Friday 17th March… That rings a bell. Ah, Yes... St Patrick’s Day!
Cor Blimey, Flipping Heck and Fancy That! Not good, is it?
Lovely blue hue to the morning view!
Aha, Lord Sainsbury’s delivery, you see… Baked beans, Four bean soup, Gravy, mint sauce, mixed vegetables, chopped tomatoes with basil & oregano, porridge, and baking soda. Fresh Kenyan garden peas, Cheese & onion pie. Tomatoes and Parmentier potatoes. All stored away, with the cleaning stuff.
Aha, the wee-wee looks better.
Bootiful clouds.
Then it was off to the toe & nail-cutting gal at the hairdressing salon in Winwood Court.
Down to the main foyer, had a nosey around…
A look at the notice board…
Then along into Winwood Court through the link passage. Called on Warden Deana with some nibbles.
Then into the hairdressing salon. To get the toenails cut. Paid the £25, and handed out some drinkies. I departed, and along the passage back to the Woodthorpe Court, I realised I’d missed a lady off of the treats. So hobbled back and gave her a choice.
Lost balance as I was pushing the three-wheeled walker through the apartment door. No tumble… But did trap my hand in the door. Not to fret, though. It was the right hand. So hardly any pain was felt. Course, I may feel it later. Peripheral Pete does that sometimes, with a delayed reaction.
During the course of the day, I had visits from the following Carers; Josie, Carer Josef (3), Carer Sam and… No, I think that’s up to now.
Visited it only three times!
Liberty-Global Virgin Media went down again. .
